And John chapter 15: 1:13 we understand that we are the branches that abide in Jesus is a true vine and God the Father is the vine dresser. We can do nothing without Christ and our attachment and consistently abiding in him and his commandments to love. We see by verse 13 that the love of God is demonstrated and sacrifice without reciprocity or expectation of gain. The holy Spirit has to teach us how to abide in his love and therefore we can take his love and it's overflow and give out the fruit of the spirit to others as we mature.
