- 1:58Speaker 2: Come on, you'll think that. Uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 7: You're listening to the voice, Come on dig me now,
- 2:09Speaker 7: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. I
- 2:12Speaker 7: got a tweet the other day. When Steve Harvey used
- 2:17Speaker 7: to get the preaching, I used to just turn the
- 2:19Speaker 7: radio off. But now it's different. Old dude be bringing it.
- 2:26Speaker 7: He'd be bringing the truth. I appreciate that, you know. Man,
- 2:30Speaker 7: When I was younger, man, when I when I wanted
- 2:32Speaker 7: to do what I wanted to do, Man, I just man,
- 2:35Speaker 7: I ain't want to hear nothing else. I didn't want
- 2:37Speaker 7: to hear nothing that contradicted what I wanted to do,
- 2:41Speaker 7: you know. So it's a funny thing man about me. Man,
- 2:44Speaker 7: I was I would hear the truth, I would know
- 2:46Speaker 7: it to be the truth. But because I had another plan,
- 2:50Speaker 7: another mission, another goal, another set of dudes.
- 2:52Speaker 2: I wanted to get done. I didn't want to hear that.
- 2:57Speaker 7: You know, it's a funny thing, man, It's like it's
- 2:59Speaker 7: like when I was a little boy and I used
- 3:01Speaker 7: to get scared sometime at night, you know, the Boogerman.
- 3:04Speaker 7: So I thought that if I just pulled the blanket
- 3:07Speaker 7: up over my head, that that meant that if I
- 3:10Speaker 7: can't see the Boogerman, he can't see me.
- 3:13Speaker 2: That's the theory.
- 3:15Speaker 7: That's an ostrich, you know, sticking his head in the sand,
- 3:19Speaker 7: thinking wow, if I don't see this dude, he can't
- 3:21Speaker 7: see me. A lot of ostyches done died with their
- 3:24Speaker 7: heads stuck in the sand. I just didn't want to
- 3:27Speaker 7: be one of them people that left this world with
- 3:28Speaker 7: my head in the sand. But I just wanted to say, man,
- 3:34Speaker 7: this morning that quit talking about change. Y'all listening, because
- 3:43Speaker 7: because because this is real right here, quit talking about
- 3:48Speaker 7: change and let's make a change. You know, man, I
- 3:52Speaker 7: don't I don't mind giving people advice. I really, I
- 3:55Speaker 7: really really don't, because so many people along the way
- 3:59Speaker 7: have handed it to me freely.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Man.
- 4:01Speaker 7: Some people just saw me doing wrong and say, young man,
- 4:04Speaker 7: come here. Let me talk to you for a minute.
- 4:06Speaker 7: Some people say, hey, brother, look man, I know what
- 4:08Speaker 7: you're trying to do.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Man, it have you thought about it this way?
- 4:13Speaker 7: So I've had a lot of favor in my life,
- 4:15Speaker 7: a lot of grace been shown on me, a lot
- 4:18Speaker 7: of mercy, a lot of people that came to me
- 4:20Speaker 7: helped me a long way. So I don't have no
- 4:22Speaker 7: problem with this part of what I'm what I'm obligated
- 4:24Speaker 7: to do in the mornings. But let's quit talking about change, y'all,
- 4:28Speaker 7: and let's make a change. See, change is growth, and
- 4:32Speaker 7: ain't no growth without change. You got people, Man, You
- 4:37Speaker 7: ever met a person that's just insistent on doing it?
- 4:40Speaker 2: They wait?
- 4:40Speaker 7: I mean, nobody in the building think they should go
- 4:44Speaker 7: that way, but they so bone headed. Oh this is
- 4:49Speaker 7: how I'm gonna do it. But bro, listen to me, Man,
- 4:51Speaker 7: that ain't how it's done. You gonna run into this
- 4:54Speaker 7: distance I'll show you. Wait a minute, man, you can't
- 4:58Speaker 7: do it that way. Man, if you are sick and
- 5:01Speaker 7: tired of where you are, then you have to change.
- 5:05Speaker 7: Change can only come from within. Can nobody make you change? Now,
- 5:10Speaker 7: we got a penal system in place that can make
- 5:12Speaker 7: you sit down. If you don't want to change, we'll
- 5:16Speaker 7: sit you down, and we'll restrict your movement and your
- 5:20Speaker 7: communication to the point where if you want to continue
- 5:22Speaker 7: this foolishness, we're gonna put you in this building with
- 5:25Speaker 7: a whole lot of people. That's foolishness, and y'all just
- 5:28Speaker 7: trick each other all day long. But if you are
- 5:31Speaker 7: sick and tired of your situation, pray for it. Pray
- 5:36Speaker 7: for change, Ask God to help you change. Ask God
- 5:40Speaker 7: what he want for you instead of always telling God.
- 5:43Speaker 2: What you want.
- 5:44Speaker 7: It's an interesting prayer to have with God. When you
- 5:48Speaker 7: quit going to God with your list and check in
- 5:52Speaker 7: with God and see what his list is. That's a
- 5:55Speaker 7: very interesting prayer. If you're a praying person, I suggest
- 5:58Speaker 7: you try that sometime. It's so interesting. Man, do you
- 6:02Speaker 7: know what it did for me when I started asking
- 6:04Speaker 7: God what he wanted for me? Instead of telling God
- 6:07Speaker 7: all the time. I still tell him what I want,
- 6:09Speaker 7: but instead of all the time going to Him with
- 6:12Speaker 7: what I want.
- 6:13Speaker 2: You know what it did for me? It freed me up.
- 6:16Speaker 2: It took a lot of pressure off.
- 6:18Speaker 7: I no longer had to think of everything and what
- 6:21Speaker 7: I was thinking of a lot of times wasn't working
- 6:23Speaker 7: no way. And when I opened myself up to what
- 6:25Speaker 7: he wanted, to what his will was, Man, do you
- 6:29Speaker 7: know how much simpler my life got? And do you
- 6:31Speaker 7: know how much bigger it got? I'm trying to tell you, man,
- 6:34Speaker 7: if you pray for change and you allow God to
- 6:37Speaker 7: help you with the change, or if you let God
- 6:40Speaker 7: just produce the change, the change in you would be amazing.
- 6:43Speaker 7: If you've been listening to me, especially out in La,
- 6:47Speaker 7: since I was on the radio since two thousand, can't
- 6:49Speaker 7: you hear the change? I'm flat out telling you that
- 6:54Speaker 7: a change has come. But I had to pray for
- 6:58Speaker 7: the change because I couldn't make the change on my own.
- 7:01Speaker 7: And then after you pray for the change, you got
- 7:03Speaker 7: to work towards your trade change. You know, there's faith
- 7:06Speaker 7: without works is dead. Everybody wants something from God. Always
- 7:11Speaker 7: want to talk to God about something. But then man,
- 7:14Speaker 7: ain't ain't, don't, don't want to do nothing about it.
- 7:17Speaker 7: Faith without works is dead. You can't do it that way, man,
- 7:21Speaker 7: It just does not happen. So so after you then
- 7:24Speaker 7: prayed to God about it, what you got to do
- 7:27Speaker 7: then is you got to turn around and go, hey, man,
- 7:29Speaker 7: all right, now, what is it I got to do?
- 7:32Speaker 7: You know, you got to do something to bring it about.
- 7:37Speaker 7: So after you pray for it, work for it, and
- 7:39Speaker 7: do something today about it. Stop procrastinating. Don't procrastinate, folks.
- 7:46Speaker 7: The change can start today. Man, I want to change?
- 7:49Speaker 7: How about today?
- 7:51Speaker 2: You know?
- 7:52Speaker 7: Then you see them saying people, Man, I want to change.
- 7:54Speaker 7: That's next week. How about today? I see people years later? Man,
- 7:59Speaker 7: I see in this same old situation. Man, I'm gonna
- 8:02Speaker 7: do something. How about today? Today is a good day.
- 8:06Speaker 7: There's nothing stopping you from changing today, nothing except you.
- 8:12Speaker 7: You can begin the process of change immediately. And change
- 8:16Speaker 7: is growth, y'all. And ain't no growth without changing. It's
- 8:20Speaker 7: a simple thing. And I'm talking to you in broad
- 8:22Speaker 7: strokes because everybody got something about them they need to change.
- 8:26Speaker 7: That's why I'm not specifically talking about anything. I got
- 8:30Speaker 7: some things in meediate need to change so I can
- 8:32Speaker 7: grow further. Everybody has something about them that they need
- 8:38Speaker 7: to change in order to grow further and then go further. Now,
- 8:43Speaker 7: what's stopping you is you won't start to change today.
- 8:46Speaker 7: Don't hesitate.
- 8:47Speaker 2: Make that change.
- 8:49Speaker 7: And then I want you to watch something when you change.
- 8:52Speaker 7: Watch the difference in you. Notice the difference in you,
- 8:56Speaker 7: feel the difference in you, and guess what you gonna
- 8:59Speaker 7: be different? If you watching for the change, If you
- 9:03Speaker 7: feeling the change, then guess what you're gonna be different? Man,
- 9:07Speaker 7: Watch for the difference, feel the difference, you will be different.
- 9:10Speaker 7: If you sick and tired of your situation, folks, you
- 9:13Speaker 7: can change that. But the change is in you. It's
- 9:16Speaker 7: a simple decision.
- 9:18Speaker 2: You had to make.
- 9:18Speaker 7: I'm gonna change. The change is up to you. You
- 9:21Speaker 7: can decide today if you want to change, you want
- 9:24Speaker 7: to be different. If you're sitting behind the wall, I
- 9:27Speaker 7: love speaking to the brothers and sisters behind the wall.
- 9:29Speaker 7: If you behind the wall, man, and you sick and
- 9:31Speaker 7: tired of being behind the wall, man, why don't you change?
- 9:34Speaker 2: You have thought about that change? Man?
- 9:37Speaker 7: If I get back out there, I'm gonna just do
- 9:39Speaker 7: the same thing. Stop saying that. Stop breathing that negativity
- 9:42Speaker 7: into your life. Decide today that you want to change.
- 9:45Speaker 2: You can do it.
- 9:46Speaker 7: Everybody can change. If you don't know how to change,
- 9:48Speaker 7: pray for it, man, ask God to help you with
- 9:51Speaker 7: the change. Or you get some movement, then partner, you
- 9:54Speaker 7: get a whole lot of movement. Then all right, that's right.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:04Speaker 7: Ladies and gentlemen, let me have your attention. Please, this
- 10:08Speaker 7: voice that you're listening to, it belongs to me. My
- 10:11Speaker 7: name is Steve Harvey. This is the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:14Speaker 7: That's not the important thing. The important thing is why
- 10:18Speaker 7: we are here, Why Shirley Strawberry called for real Junior Nephew,
- 10:23Speaker 7: Tommy Mississippi Monica. Why we are here every morning to uplift,
- 10:28Speaker 7: to enlighten, and to entertain. But there's no greater uplift
- 10:34Speaker 7: that we can give you than to give thanks and
- 10:37Speaker 7: honor to Almighty God. Because without God, nothing happens. Nothing
- 10:43Speaker 7: you can think it do us. But I'm just letting
- 10:45Speaker 7: you know nothing happens without Him. All good things come
- 10:50Speaker 7: from Heaven above. Please understand that the fact that He
- 10:55Speaker 7: does not treat us the way we act, that alone
- 10:59Speaker 7: is his than in his grace and mercy to all
- 11:01Speaker 7: of us. I'm so grateful for that. I don't know
- 11:04Speaker 7: what to do. I thank him most of all for
- 11:07Speaker 7: grace and mercy, man for just forgiving me for the
- 11:10Speaker 7: things I've done knowingly went in to do it wrong.
- 11:14Speaker 7: He forgave me anyway. Who man, Oh man, that's to god.
- 11:19Speaker 7: I'm the man boy.
- 11:20Speaker 2: Bye.
- 11:21Speaker 7: Steve Harven, Marni Show, Shelton Strawberry, Colin Ferel, Mississippi, Monica
- 11:24Speaker 7: Junior under legend that is nephew Tommy.
- 11:27Speaker 2: Well that's the way to start. What's up, Junior? Let
- 11:31Speaker 2: me talk to you, man, talk to me.
- 11:34Speaker 8: How do you deal with people that tear you down
- 11:36Speaker 8: because you didn't do something that they wanted you to do?
- 11:39Speaker 2: Right? Then? Oh, that's all.
- 11:43Speaker 7: Do it now, because it's what have you done for
- 11:46Speaker 7: me lately? Nobody keeps a track record. Nobody keeps a
- 11:53Speaker 7: long book. Nobody, Man, I don't know nobody man that
- 11:59Speaker 7: keeps active, current and precise records of everything I've ever
- 12:07Speaker 7: done for them. When it comes to them wanting something new,
- 12:11Speaker 7: I have not met that person yet. And if you have,
- 12:14Speaker 7: man hold on to them tight, because when have you
- 12:18Speaker 7: ever heard a person come up to you with a
- 12:19Speaker 7: request and go, hey, man, listen man, I know in
- 12:23Speaker 7: eighty one you did this for me, and then you
- 12:25Speaker 7: did this for me in eighty five, and then eighty
- 12:27Speaker 7: seven you came through.
- 12:28Speaker 2: I know I doubled down on him.
- 12:29Speaker 7: I know I ain't pay you back in ninety five,
- 12:31Speaker 7: but then when you came through for me again in
- 12:33Speaker 7: ninety eight anyway, and then when two thousand came and
- 12:35Speaker 7: I loved I sure appreciate that. Man, two thousand and five,
- 12:38Speaker 7: I hit you up, and you help me again.
- 12:40Speaker 2: Anyway.
- 12:41Speaker 7: Well, anyway, it's twenty twenty five, and listen, man, I
- 12:44Speaker 7: know I've got a long track record of not coming
- 12:47Speaker 7: through when I say I'm going to do. But I
- 12:48Speaker 7: got one more request. If I could just have three
- 12:51Speaker 7: thousand dollars, man, I promise you. Have you ever heard that? No,
- 12:57Speaker 7: have you ever heard a person do that? So dog
- 13:01Speaker 7: stop expecting it. Because people have selective memory when it
- 13:06Speaker 7: comes to what you've done for them. But let them
- 13:09Speaker 7: do something for you though. Oh I remember that time
- 13:13Speaker 7: I was there for you.
- 13:14Speaker 4: You know.
- 13:14Speaker 7: I got a guy that reminds me of every single
- 13:18Speaker 7: time he spoke up for me one time, he spoke
- 13:21Speaker 7: up for me.
- 13:22Speaker 2: One time, and I got to hear about it every
- 13:24Speaker 2: time we talk like what, oh, no, gonna do it.
- 13:30Speaker 1: He's one of those all right, thank you guys.
- 13:38Speaker 9: Coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour, we
- 13:40Speaker 9: will hear from the nephews. He runs that prank back
- 13:43Speaker 9: right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Hey everyone,

- 14:03Speaker 9: your immune response to fight off certain respiratory illnesses like flue,

- 14:11Speaker 9: your doctor which vaccines you need and visit vaccist dot

- 21:59Speaker 9: lead because when my body pain shows up, I need
- 22:02Speaker 9: something that lasts with just one pill a lead less
- 22:05Speaker 9: up to twelve hours. Don't let those aches and pains

- 23:33Speaker 2: to date him?
- 23:39Speaker 1: Does she get?
- 23:41Speaker 3: How?
- 23:42Speaker 4: You know?
- 23:43Speaker 7: We look, I'm gonna go with an age on this.
- 23:46Speaker 7: I'm assume everybody in their high sixties.
- 23:52Speaker 1: Alberta.

- 24:34Speaker 7: she old side pre she Okrah and tomatoes. That's how
- 24:38Speaker 7: old side piece she is?

- 24:41Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 24:42Speaker 1: What what's what's her boyfriend and his wife's name? What
- 24:46Speaker 1: are their names?
- 24:48Speaker 13: Oh?
- 24:48Speaker 2: The girlfriend, the wife's name is Claude. That and the
- 24:53Speaker 2: husband demus short for moving. That's what they call it,
- 25:03Speaker 2: for sure, demus. But it's Nicodemus.
- 25:07Speaker 9: Moving Onto Gino in Fairfax. Geno writes, my girlfriend is
- 25:11Speaker 9: not black, so we have problems with cleanliness. She doesn't
- 25:15Speaker 9: wash her hands before she goes in the fridge, before
- 25:18Speaker 9: she cooks, or before she eats. I do like her
- 25:21Speaker 9: a lot, but she's not ready to meet my parents
- 25:23Speaker 9: like this? How do I fix her?
- 25:26Speaker 15: You ain't got great joke with ugh, I don't know
- 25:28Speaker 15: how you fixing? I don't really I don't know how
- 25:31Speaker 15: to fix an ass too moment. I've never had one.
- 25:34Speaker 15: That's that's that's I don't even know how that ain't
- 25:36Speaker 15: a priority.
- 25:38Speaker 1: It is a clean woman, ghettlett.
- 25:45Speaker 2: I might walk in and open the refrigerator, but uk,
- 25:50Speaker 2: I'm just a dude.
- 25:51Speaker 7: You ain't tell us I got slapped at my mama's
- 25:54Speaker 7: house opening that refrigerator while washing my hand.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Come here from playing boy? Yep, for sure?
- 26:00Speaker 7: So you know, and I think that's a racist remark
- 26:03Speaker 7: that you made because I think she's not she's not black,
- 26:07Speaker 7: so she's not clean. That's that's racist though, that is
- 26:11Speaker 7: very racists not appropriate to Yeah, yeah, that's that's that's
- 26:17Speaker 7: that's stereo. That's not that's not right. Yeah, and let
- 26:23Speaker 7: me just throw this out, y'all. Not gonna make it.
- 26:25Speaker 7: I just want to put that in, y'all. I'm not
- 26:29Speaker 7: gonna make it.
- 26:31Speaker 2: Yeah, that's just no way and nothing didn't heal.
- 26:34Speaker 1: Check it out while you can, all right. Moving on
- 26:38Speaker 1: to Melanie.
- 26:40Speaker 9: In augusta, Melody writes, I'm going on a ski trip
- 26:44Speaker 9: with the girls and my husband found out that I'm
- 26:46Speaker 9: paying extra for a private room. It's for peace and
- 26:49Speaker 9: quiet and relaxation. But my husband thinks I'm going to
- 26:53Speaker 9: be up to something. I am so irritated. Why can't
- 26:56Speaker 9: he trust me? She just wants to quiet and.
- 27:02Speaker 2: That sounds right to me. I wouldn't. I'm not still nobody.
- 27:06Speaker 1: I'm gonna have on your bathroom.
- 27:08Speaker 2: Yeah, you're not feel to be in the bed next
- 27:11Speaker 2: to me or none of that. We're not I'm not
- 27:13Speaker 2: ever do that.
- 27:14Speaker 4: Well.
- 27:14Speaker 2: He Fela called every day on this y'all know that everything.
- 27:19Speaker 6: In all times, Yes all, Kyle FaceTime, I'm still in
- 27:25Speaker 6: my room by mysel.
- 27:27Speaker 2: Now here's a here's a very appropriate question though. Can
- 27:32Speaker 2: you ski see it? You know? That's what could be
- 27:40Speaker 2: leading to all the shakiness?
- 27:43Speaker 4: He know?
- 27:44Speaker 2: Yo?
- 27:45Speaker 7: So now what are you all up in the mountains forhouse?
- 27:51Speaker 7: From Augusta, Georgia? Y'all going okay, all right, all.
- 27:58Speaker 1: Right, that's what you got out of that?
- 27:59Speaker 2: Huh. Yeah?
- 28:00Speaker 7: The Bahamas is right there right there, you being. Muhammad's
- 28:04Speaker 7: on nice beach at the cove and Landa's one of
- 28:06Speaker 7: them right there. You all up in the mountains ski
- 28:11Speaker 7: don't know a dog one thing about skiing.
- 28:16Speaker 9: Well, last one, here we go, Steve. This is Bradford
- 28:19Speaker 9: and Long Beach. Bradford writes it. Last year I got
- 28:22Speaker 9: divorced and my ex wife won't move out of our home,
- 28:25Speaker 9: even though it's on the market. I can have her
- 28:28Speaker 9: forcefully removed from the home, but I'd hate to do
- 28:31Speaker 9: that to her. She's sabotaging the sale of the house.
- 28:34Speaker 2: What should I do? Oo? Lord, I've been there before. Lord,
- 28:41Speaker 2: exec did I write this?
- 28:45Speaker 1: I don't know if your name is Bradford? Yeah, you're broderick,
- 28:47Speaker 1: but not that's close.
- 28:49Speaker 2: Well, let me say this to you, dog.
- 28:52Speaker 7: I know she's sabotaged in the sale of a house
- 28:56Speaker 7: because it's to make you continue to pay the house
- 28:59Speaker 7: note while she lives that. That's that's as evil as
- 29:04Speaker 7: it gets. I've had that done to me. Now, what
- 29:07Speaker 7: you're going to have to do is go back to
- 29:11Speaker 7: court and get the house put in receivership.
- 29:15Speaker 2: Okay, Oh, I know all this here, and then what
- 29:19Speaker 2: is that gonna do?
- 29:21Speaker 7: Then that that that's gonna that's gonna force the house
- 29:24Speaker 7: to be sold in receivership to force her to get out,
- 29:30Speaker 7: because they're gonna sell the.
- 29:31Speaker 1: House and split the profits.
- 29:34Speaker 2: Right.
- 29:34Speaker 7: Well, now, if they are splitting the profits, I didn't
- 29:38Speaker 7: get that. Oh, I just want to be clear about that.
- 29:48Speaker 7: I gave up the house and had to pay for it,
- 29:52Speaker 7: and they stayed there and wouldn't move out that there,
- 29:55Speaker 7: So now I had to go to receivership. Yeah, that
- 29:59Speaker 7: thing would receive ship is you're not gonna get the
- 30:02Speaker 7: full value of the house. Oh, because somebody gonna come
- 30:08Speaker 7: in there and get a steal.
- 30:09Speaker 2: Oh wow, but that's what guess what's called there for
- 30:13Speaker 2: a little longer.
- 30:15Speaker 7: No, that's what's called that's called cutting off your nose
- 30:18Speaker 7: despite your Yeah, that's what happens to people like that.
- 30:22Speaker 9: Okay, all right, well, thank you Colo. Coming up at
- 30:26Speaker 9: the top of the hour, we will have some entertainment
- 30:29Speaker 9: news for you right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey
- 30:33Speaker 9: Morning Show. According to Yahoo dot com, Kim Kardashian married
- 30:41Speaker 9: Kanye West back in twenty fourteen and divorced him in
- 30:44Speaker 9: twenty twenty two. Kim was a recent guest on the
- 30:48Speaker 9: Call Her Daddy podcast where she really opened up about
- 30:50Speaker 9: her toxic marriage to Kanye, his mental state, and his
- 30:54Speaker 9: unpredictable financial decisions. Kim said they had five Lamborghinis and
- 30:59Speaker 9: one time she came home and asked where the cars were,
- 31:02Speaker 9: and Kanye had given the Lamborghinis away to his friends.
- 31:06Speaker 1: Kimya went on to say yeah. She went on to
- 31:09Speaker 1: say that she stayed in the.
- 31:11Speaker 9: Marriage despite Kanye's mental health issues for their four children,
- 31:16Speaker 9: but the breaking point was when she and her family
- 31:18Speaker 9: were concerned about her safety and his public outbursts. Kanye
- 31:23Speaker 9: revealed that he had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder back.
- 31:26Speaker 1: In twenty eighteen. What do you guys think I hate that.
- 31:31Speaker 2: I had diagnosed him in two thousand and nine, Kanye.
- 31:38Speaker 6: Say, yeah, do you think though, I know, it's kind
- 31:45Speaker 6: of like, did she see the signs and ignored the by.

- 32:07Speaker 7: a dollar sign. If Kanye were poor, if Kanye was
- 32:12Speaker 7: a poor man, Kanye is not getting this opportunity. Come
- 32:18Speaker 7: on now, let's let's all understand that. So the first
- 32:22Speaker 7: sign you see is the dollar sign. The dollar sign
- 32:24Speaker 7: makes you blind to the other signs.
- 32:28Speaker 1: But she was already paid. She had her own money.
- 32:34Speaker 2: You ain't never wanted no more money. So we're just
- 32:38Speaker 2: take this with it. I'm just trying to understand. She
- 32:42Speaker 2: already has some money. She ain't had his money.
- 32:48Speaker 1: And all that.
- 32:49Speaker 7: Y'all come on now. So the sign that they saw
- 32:51Speaker 7: in the beginning was a dollar sign. There ain't nothing
- 32:53Speaker 7: wrong with it. And I do believe they were in love.
- 32:58Speaker 7: I do believe that.
- 33:00Speaker 2: Yeah, at one point, and I've met her several times.
- 33:03Speaker 2: She is a really really good person. Man.
- 33:05Speaker 7: I have never I have never ever seen them Kardashians
- 33:10Speaker 7: do anything doggish to anybody.
- 33:14Speaker 2: Never. They just there's really cool people every time I've
- 33:16Speaker 2: seen them them. Slavery clothes should have been the same
- 33:21Speaker 2: from Kanye Kane plantation of clothes.
- 33:28Speaker 12: Yours in the summertime when covering his lord penny holes.
- 33:34Speaker 1: I still wear my yeasies.
- 33:37Speaker 7: Like panty holes on your face to make a leather
- 33:42Speaker 7: bomb of jacketson in the hot.
- 33:47Speaker 2: Know you stink? I know you?
- 33:50Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, all right, moving on, get out of it.
- 33:56Speaker 7: While your your wife walking next to you dressed in
- 34:00Speaker 7: a propelactic. Then you sitting up in here with a
- 34:04Speaker 7: black uh pair of panty holes on your faith.
- 34:10Speaker 2: That's what they are? What that's what your wife got
- 34:15Speaker 2: on the current wise.
- 34:16Speaker 7: Yeah, the current right, she got on proplactic and you
- 34:18Speaker 7: got on a black pair of panty holes on your

- 34:39Speaker 2: ain't nobody happier than you?
- 34:46Speaker 9: Well, the suburban Chicago mansion once known as r. Kelly's
- 34:49Speaker 9: Chocolate Factory, has sold for just a million point six

- 34:58Speaker 9: foot Olympia Feels, the state where Bert once recorded his
- 35:01Speaker 9: hit music and committed some of his crimes, was bought
- 35:04Speaker 9: out of foreclosure back in twenty thirteen by Rudolph and
- 35:07Speaker 9: Elaine Eisley for five hundred and eighty seven thousand dollars.
- 35:12Speaker 9: Despite extensive renovations, including a jungle themed pool and the
- 35:17Speaker 9: Chicago Bulls themed bedroom, the home struggle to sell to
- 35:21Speaker 9: sell amid six figure, six figure property taxes and a

- 38:51Speaker 6: I wonder are they getting paid because of the government
- 38:54Speaker 6: shut down?
- 38:55Speaker 4: Right now?
- 38:55Speaker 11: Right That's what I'm asking, Like, if they somewhere, I'm
- 38:58Speaker 11: not gonna get paid or they eventually paid.
- 39:01Speaker 1: Well, they're still working with enthusiasm. Usually that's a check.
- 39:06Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 39:07Speaker 1: Yeah, it's really sad. It's really sad that what they're
- 39:13Speaker 1: doing to these people is it's just horrible.
- 39:17Speaker 2: It's really bad. What Steve, look, I'm so.
- 39:24Speaker 7: I'm so over this this. Uh what's the word emblazement?
- 39:30Speaker 7: What's that word? When you I don't know the word
- 39:34Speaker 7: of them, but when you empower I'm so over the
- 39:38Speaker 7: empowerment of regular people giving them authority to make life
- 39:45Speaker 7: changing decisions about an item they know nothing about except
- 39:50Speaker 7: they own racist viewpoint. So ICE who has no training,
- 39:57Speaker 7: these new people that's coming in here that now guard
- 40:00Speaker 7: that they sending over the act as ICE agents who
- 40:03Speaker 7: have no training whatsoever.
- 40:07Speaker 2: All they doing is picking people that don't look like them.
- 40:12Speaker 7: Why aren't you going up to New York and arrest
- 40:15Speaker 7: all of them are white people that's over here that
- 40:19Speaker 7: then came in and ain't got no work visas and
- 40:21Speaker 7: all this here because you know, going over there, Poland, Czechoslovakia,
- 40:27Speaker 7: you know Poland, go over there, gone, Why you checks
- 40:29Speaker 7: that for them?
- 40:30Speaker 2: No, that's not their target.
- 40:32Speaker 7: No, but no, man, they down here. Man just harassing
- 40:35Speaker 7: these people. Man, harassing so many innocent people. If you
- 40:40Speaker 7: were going after criminals, I'd be fine with it.
- 40:44Speaker 1: Yeah, but break yeah, working people.
- 40:47Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 40:50Speaker 7: This is all Project twenty five. This is all make
- 40:54Speaker 7: America great again. And I kept I told everybody beginning
- 40:59Speaker 7: when they say make America great again, what are they
- 41:02Speaker 7: talking about?
- 41:02Speaker 2: Well? Now you see and all these Latinos for Trump
- 41:06Speaker 2: where you at? Now? Yeah? And all y'all blacks for
- 41:11Speaker 2: Trump's where you add? Now? All right?
- 41:14Speaker 9: Coming up with thirty four minutes after the hour, we'll
- 41:16Speaker 9: talk about comedy legends.
- 41:18Speaker 2: Right after this.
- 41:19Speaker 1: You're listening, Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 41:27Speaker 9: Netflix has announced the release of Being Eddie next month,
- 41:30Speaker 9: a documentary about comedy legend Eddie Murphy's fifty year career.
- 41:36Speaker 9: We all just love Eddie Murphy.
- 41:38Speaker 2: Yes, we have so much joy and so much laughter.
- 41:45Speaker 9: So, Steve, you're also celebrating your fortieth anniversary of your
- 41:49Speaker 9: comedy career this year.
- 41:52Speaker 1: So here's a question for you.
- 41:53Speaker 2: TI with me. Wasn't it ain't been as big as Eddie?
- 41:56Speaker 2: But mind.
- 41:59Speaker 9: Still Yeah, but I have a question for you guys, you,
- 42:03Speaker 9: Tommy and Jr. What has changed about the comedy comedy
- 42:06Speaker 9: industry since you first got in the game.
- 42:08Speaker 1: I'm sure a lot, right.
- 42:10Speaker 11: What you can say, the topics you get that you
- 42:14Speaker 11: sometimes you just can't you scared to touch because when
- 42:19Speaker 11: you don't cross that line, because you can get canceled.
- 42:22Speaker 7: Yeah, the change is on comedians now that weren't on
- 42:27Speaker 7: it before. The freedom of speech is gone, you know. Yeah,
- 42:33Speaker 7: you can't have an opposing view of anybody on the
- 42:39Speaker 7: left or the right.
- 42:43Speaker 2: Ask what's crazy?
- 42:44Speaker 7: Yeah, but the game say something about somebody on the
- 42:48Speaker 7: extreme left and see what happened.
- 42:50Speaker 2: But say something about somebody on the extreme right.
- 42:53Speaker 6: In addition to the politics, you know that's obvious with
- 42:57Speaker 6: the cancel culture.
- 42:58Speaker 1: What about the industry that has changed?
- 43:00Speaker 6: I mean when you guys were coming up, you guys
- 43:02Speaker 6: had your heroes and your your icons and the comedians
- 43:06Speaker 6: you looked up to prior, you know, Red Fox, the
- 43:09Speaker 6: big Ones.
- 43:09Speaker 1: So now what has changed in the game.
- 43:12Speaker 6: Like, if you're a comedian that's listening and trying to
- 43:15Speaker 6: get into the industry, I said, I.
- 43:19Speaker 8: Had I had mentor. You know, you had you had
- 43:21Speaker 8: a comedy mentor who taught you the right way to
- 43:24Speaker 8: do do the business, to actually do the business.
- 43:28Speaker 9: I don't know what you're saying is you're you were funny,
- 43:30Speaker 9: but you needed some guidance in some director.
- 43:33Speaker 12: You have to know how to how to do the business.
- 43:35Speaker 12: You had to have somebody to teach you. This is
- 43:37Speaker 12: what you do on the road. This is how you
- 43:38Speaker 12: go out and doing doing everything on the road.
- 43:41Speaker 2: This is what you have to do.
- 43:42Speaker 8: And then you take this and you cly this and
- 43:44Speaker 8: this is how you build your set. You build your
- 43:46Speaker 8: set like this, and this is how you be professed.
- 43:48Speaker 8: All those things were talk to us. Yeah, tell me
- 43:51Speaker 8: had we had mentor?
- 43:53Speaker 2: Right?
- 43:54Speaker 1: Okay, what about you see I'm a mentor?
- 43:58Speaker 7: Oh yeah, man, of course. I mean Anthony Brown taught
- 44:05Speaker 7: me the most. Bill Carsby set me down and school
- 44:08Speaker 7: me as to what was going on. You know, I
- 44:11Speaker 7: was sitting there. I was in the room with Richard
- 44:13Speaker 7: cry I've been in the room with our Sinio. I've
- 44:16Speaker 7: been in the room with I've been in the room
- 44:19Speaker 7: with him. I've been in the room with that. In
- 44:23Speaker 7: Eddie's house, I've been I've been in the room.
- 44:25Speaker 11: Now.
- 44:26Speaker 2: I didn't get mentored by Chappelle of Rock because I
- 44:30Speaker 2: was there.
- 44:31Speaker 7: Yeah, we were all rotting up at the same time,
- 44:35Speaker 7: and I had got on the meteor ride of my own.
- 44:38Speaker 7: You know, Chappelle just up late became after the Chapelle Show.
- 44:45Speaker 7: You know, Chappelle got launched after the Chapelle Show. Yeah,
- 44:50Speaker 7: Chris Rock got launched through his comedy specials Blacker than Black,
- 44:55Speaker 7: Bigger than Black, whatever it was, and you know, stuff
- 44:58Speaker 7: like that. But we all had different routes. But you know,
- 45:02Speaker 7: now it's a different game now. These guys are getting
- 45:06Speaker 7: famous on Instagram. If you look at this kid, Marco,
- 45:10Speaker 7: if you look at I look at this kid that
- 45:11Speaker 7: was doing all of them.
- 45:12Speaker 1: All okay scenarios.
- 45:16Speaker 7: Is he a full time comedian now? But when you
- 45:24Speaker 7: look at him online, he's brilliant with the that it. Yeah,
- 45:29Speaker 7: he's absolutely brilliant audience. And I've seen him do some
- 45:33Speaker 7: funny stuff with that audience.
- 45:36Speaker 1: But to sell out an arena, arena.
- 45:40Speaker 7: To sell three thousand tickets, you can't just be brilliant
- 45:44Speaker 7: with the audience. I love to see his set.
- 45:47Speaker 2: Now.
- 45:48Speaker 7: Country Wayne became famous off the internet too, and then
- 45:53Speaker 7: I saw his special and I actually liked it. I
- 45:56Speaker 7: thought Country Wayne had did that thing to be somebody
- 45:59Speaker 7: that came off the internet. But it's very hard to
- 46:01Speaker 7: come off the internet with skits to become a comedian.
- 46:04Speaker 7: That's two different worlds. Now, Comedic acting and stand up
- 46:09Speaker 7: is two different worlds, and a lot of them have
- 46:11Speaker 7: found that out.
- 46:12Speaker 1: All right, all right, guys.
- 46:14Speaker 9: Coming up next it is a nephew and the prank
- 46:16Speaker 9: phone call for today. Right after this, you're listening to
- 46:19Speaker 9: the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 46:25Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour.
- 46:27Speaker 9: Right about four minutes after, it's my Strawberry letter for today,
- 46:30Speaker 9: and the subject is what's going on next door?
- 46:34Speaker 1: What's going on next door?
- 46:35Speaker 9: We'll get into it in just a few because right
- 46:37Speaker 9: now the nephew is here with today's frank phone call.
- 46:41Speaker 11: What you got for is nep Yeah, let me tell
- 46:43Speaker 11: you what's going on over here? Okay, what's going on
- 46:46Speaker 11: over here is we have the side and at the job.
- 46:49Speaker 2: No more half weeds. We're not doing. No more weeds
- 46:52Speaker 2: at the job.
- 46:53Speaker 1: What are you talking to from your decision?
- 46:57Speaker 2: Hey man?
- 46:58Speaker 7: Speaking of half we'ves, have you noticed on the zoom
- 47:01Speaker 7: look at the zoom right now, me, you and all
- 47:04Speaker 7: natural hair just alike you and who me?
- 47:08Speaker 2: You and kill look just alike. I know I don't
- 47:11Speaker 2: look like you, and j I do not look like
- 47:16Speaker 2: on you. And to what I'm saying, you're.
- 47:22Speaker 7: Talking about half weaves, and I said, look at me,
- 47:27Speaker 7: you and Junior, we look just alike.
- 47:30Speaker 2: Okay, I'm gonna show you where you did.
- 47:32Speaker 11: Junior lean your head, says back, What is about my
- 47:37Speaker 11: lean them back? This is just like this, He'll you'd
- 47:40Speaker 11: like to see that tearing sideway. Jam See why are
- 47:44Speaker 11: you saying we look at it?
- 47:46Speaker 7: He got signed down, he's sherman, hems.
- 47:50Speaker 1: Me Gord Jeffers.
- 47:55Speaker 2: But will we looking on that? When you look at
- 47:59Speaker 2: him head on, we look very similar. Junior. You keep
- 48:06Speaker 2: saying it's the light, but you see light, make you
- 48:10Speaker 2: see it is.
- 48:12Speaker 1: Kind of the light though, six.
- 48:15Speaker 2: Yeah, step back, surely y'all can quit, y'all. I'm looking at.
- 48:21Speaker 7: I'm looking at it right here. The light is bouncing
- 48:23Speaker 7: off Yeah, yeah, light don't bounce off hair. You ain't
- 48:29Speaker 7: got hair like Mona. Okay, Well, I'm just saying, at
- 48:35Speaker 7: ain't no hand in front of that headset.
- 48:37Speaker 1: You always start from.
- 48:40Speaker 7: That little thing on top of your head. That's no
- 48:42Speaker 7: hand in front of the date. It ain't bothering me, man,
- 48:45Speaker 7: I was telling you to just look at us. We
- 48:47Speaker 7: got so much in common.
- 48:48Speaker 12: We don't have nothing coming up.
- 48:50Speaker 11: I've got hair, can't run the front, no hair weeds
- 48:54Speaker 11: and no George Jefferson.
- 48:57Speaker 4: Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach please hi Resa. My
- 49:02Speaker 4: name is Byron, Byron from the job. How are you.
- 49:05Speaker 16: I'm okay, how are you?
- 49:07Speaker 4: I'm good? Listen. I hate to call you after hours
- 49:09Speaker 4: at your home, but there has been some new issues
- 49:13Speaker 4: that will be going into effect. That was just tomorrow morning,
- 49:16Speaker 4: and we're calling everyone letting them know the new changes
- 49:19Speaker 4: that have been issued that will take effect first thing
- 49:22Speaker 4: tomorrow morning. So we're giving everyone a call. So don't
- 49:25Speaker 4: be alarmed. It's just giving a call letting you know
- 49:28Speaker 4: what the what the higher ups have changed. Okay, okay,
- 49:31Speaker 4: there's no problem to listen. Okay. After tomorrow, what's gonna
- 49:35Speaker 4: happen is when you guys come in, you'll be issued
- 49:37Speaker 4: a new key card, and that particular card will actually
- 49:41Speaker 4: register when you come in and go out. Okay, okay,
- 49:44Speaker 4: all right. Second one is there will no longer be
- 49:46Speaker 4: any personal internet at the job any longer. You won't
- 49:50Speaker 4: be able. They're actually putting a block on all computers.
- 49:53Speaker 4: All the computers will no longer be able to go
- 49:55Speaker 4: to a lot of these sites that you guys go
- 49:58Speaker 4: to that you've been a that's been available here in
- 50:01Speaker 4: the past. Okay, okay, all right. The last one is reesa.
- 50:06Speaker 4: Do you do you wear a hair weave? What do
- 50:10Speaker 4: you wear a hair weave or a wig?
- 50:12Speaker 6: Yes?
- 50:13Speaker 4: Okay, Well here's one thing, and hopefully you can get
- 50:16Speaker 4: this change about tomorrow. There's no weaves or hair or
- 50:20Speaker 4: wigs going to be allowed at the job site from
- 50:24Speaker 4: this point on. So as of tomorrow morning, everyone must
- 50:27Speaker 4: be wearing their natural hair. Uh No. These are the
- 50:32Speaker 4: issues that are going to be that are instated, and
- 50:34Speaker 4: these are going to take effect as of tomorrow morning,
- 50:37Speaker 4: seven o'clock.
- 50:38Speaker 16: What does hawwives have to do with any of these changes?
- 50:40Speaker 16: The first two I can understand punching in and being
- 50:43Speaker 16: on the internet. Yes, that's something that that corporate. But
- 50:47Speaker 16: hair weave and wigs.
- 50:49Speaker 4: Are they're looking down upon it. Wigs and hair weaves
- 50:56Speaker 4: they have to go. So I'm assuming that if you,
- 51:00Speaker 4: like you said, you do have one, I suggest it
- 51:03Speaker 4: doesn't come out there. You start taking it down now
- 51:05Speaker 4: and prepare your hair to be natural as you come
- 51:08Speaker 4: in to work tomorrow.
- 51:09Speaker 16: I'm not taking my hair down. I've been here seven
- 51:11Speaker 16: years and I've dealt with all the changes that y'all
- 51:13Speaker 16: have made. But there's no way that I'm taking my
- 51:16Speaker 16: hair weave down. I'm sorry. What's your name, Byron?
- 51:19Speaker 4: Yes, my name is Byron, and.
- 51:22Speaker 16: I'm sorry.
- 51:23Speaker 4: Let's get back to your weave. This has you're going
- 51:25Speaker 4: to have to do something. Is there someone that you
- 51:27Speaker 4: can call tonight to help you get your hair down
- 51:30Speaker 4: and so you can look presentable with your natural hair tomorrow.
- 51:33Speaker 16: No, my weave costs over two three hundred dollars and
- 51:36Speaker 16: I'm not about to take that down. I mean, it
- 51:39Speaker 16: takes a long time to take that down.
- 51:41Speaker 4: Okay, I mean, is this something Maybe you can take
- 51:44Speaker 4: it down and just wear it on the weekends because
- 51:46Speaker 4: as of now, you're not going to be allowed to
- 51:48Speaker 4: actually wear it on the property.
- 51:51Speaker 16: And how will you know if someone has weave or not?
- 51:53Speaker 16: Are you going to do hair checks or something?
- 51:56Speaker 4: Okay, ma'am, I'm not quite sure what they're going to
- 51:59Speaker 4: do to check it. But by you telling me that
- 52:02Speaker 4: you have a weave, then I have to write it
- 52:05Speaker 4: down that you have confirmed that you do, and we
- 52:07Speaker 4: got to make sure that tomorrow morning you're not wearing one.
- 52:10Speaker 16: But you don't know what my natural hair looks like
- 52:13Speaker 16: from my weave. You heard how much I pay for it,
- 52:16Speaker 16: So it's a good weave, ma'am.
- 52:18Speaker 4: It's not about how good you know with the quality
- 52:21Speaker 4: of your weave or anything. They don't want it. They
- 52:23Speaker 4: want natural hair. I don't know what that means. But
- 52:26Speaker 4: they're going natural, they're going green, they're going natural. I
- 52:29Speaker 4: don't know what it is. They're going natural, and so
- 52:31Speaker 4: will you. Tomorrow morning you need to come in with
- 52:34Speaker 4: your hair completely down. Okay, I won't do it.
- 52:37Speaker 16: I'm not taking my weave now.
- 52:39Speaker 4: Okay, what is that y'all gonna write me up or something? Okay, ma'am.
- 52:42Speaker 4: Do you not want your job?
- 52:43Speaker 13: Yeah?
- 52:44Speaker 16: I want my job, But this don't make no sense.
- 52:46Speaker 16: You're talking about personal appearance. I can understand y'all have
- 52:49Speaker 16: a dress coach and enforcing a dress code, that's one thing.
- 52:53Speaker 16: But telling somebody to change a you emotion mind. Man,
- 52:57Speaker 16: you're crazy, ma'am.
- 52:59Speaker 4: I'm not gonna I have other people that I have
- 53:00Speaker 4: to call. Bottom line is get your hat out and
- 53:04Speaker 4: get your butt into work tomorrow and let's not go
- 53:06Speaker 4: back and forth anymore.
- 53:07Speaker 16: Okay, Well, listen, by Ranch, you're a lost mine. If
- 53:11Speaker 16: you're thinking I'm taking my weave, I'm not taking out
- 53:15Speaker 16: at all. Resa is coming up in there with her hell,
- 53:19Speaker 16: and I'm gonna sit down at my desk and do
- 53:20Speaker 16: my jobs. Y'all gonna have to drag me after some weeds.
- 53:24Speaker 16: You lost your mind, You and your powers that be,
- 53:27Speaker 16: or whoever they may be. You tell them that I
- 53:29Speaker 16: said that.
- 53:30Speaker 4: Wait a minute, Wait a minute, listen. Are you telling
- 53:33Speaker 4: me that you're coming in regardless with your hair on you?
- 53:36Speaker 16: That's what I just said.
- 53:38Speaker 4: Okay, are you then? Then we need to Why don't
- 53:42Speaker 4: you go ahead and bring some boxes in because you
- 53:46Speaker 4: I'm not you bring this, ma'am. I don't want to
- 53:48Speaker 4: have to pack. You get your stuff and box it up,
- 53:51Speaker 4: and you're losing your job because you can't take it.
- 53:53Speaker 4: Know what you can do that?
- 53:54Speaker 16: Because I'm gonna call the news station and tell them
- 53:57Speaker 16: you're dragging me out of behind some weeds.
- 54:00Speaker 4: You wrong, you wrong, you wrong?
- 54:02Speaker 16: You stupid? Behind were you?
- 54:04Speaker 4: You need to watch your language, young lady?
- 54:06Speaker 16: Why I need to watch my language I'm at home.
- 54:08Speaker 16: You call me on my own home phone.
- 54:10Speaker 10: On my time.
- 54:12Speaker 16: I'm at my house. I'm not on your block. I
- 54:14Speaker 16: say what I want to say on my phone.
- 54:16Speaker 4: Okay? Can I say what I want on my phone?
- 54:18Speaker 4: And then I'll let you go and you can come
- 54:20Speaker 4: in to work anyway you want to tomorrow. What is it, Biben?
- 54:23Speaker 16: What else you got to say?
- 54:24Speaker 4: I want to tell you. I want to tell you
- 54:27Speaker 4: that your girlfriend, Jennifer at your job got me the
- 54:30Speaker 4: prank phone call you. This is nephew Tommy from the

- 55:22Speaker 16: Well, after this, Frank, you have to be the Steve

- 55:37Speaker 9: Thank you, nephew. Coming up next my Strawberry letter. What
- 55:40Speaker 9: is going on next door is the subject. We'll get
- 55:43Speaker 9: into that right after this. Hey, everyone, quick health question.
- 55:47Speaker 9: Even though you're still thriving, still loving, still connecting, did
- 55:51Speaker 9: you know your immune system weakens with age. That's where

- 56:45Speaker 2: We got it for you here. It is a strawberry letter.
- 56:48Speaker 9: Thank you, nephew. Subject What's going on next door? Stephen Shirley.
- 56:53Speaker 9: I've been married for the past twenty two years, and
- 56:56Speaker 9: I love that My wife is very sheltered.
- 56:58Speaker 1: She's not on any.
- 56:59Speaker 9: Social media sites, and she doesn't like to party. I
- 57:04Speaker 9: was afraid to move her to the city, but she
- 57:06Speaker 9: said she was ready for a change. We sold our
- 57:09Speaker 9: home and bought a condo in a very popular section
- 57:12Speaker 9: of Atlanta. Months after we moved in, we got a
- 57:15Speaker 9: new neighbor. She's only thirty and she has two small kids.
- 57:19Speaker 9: My wife immediately thought that the kids would be making
- 57:22Speaker 9: noise and running around all the time, but to our surprise,
- 57:26Speaker 9: we hear the woman more than we hear her kids,
- 57:29Speaker 9: if you know what I mean. My wife and I
- 57:31Speaker 9: saw men in the hallway and on the elevator, and
- 57:34Speaker 9: it took weeks for my wife to figure out what's
- 57:36Speaker 9: going on next door. I was hoping that she never
- 57:40Speaker 9: figured out that the neighbor is a quote working woman.
- 57:44Speaker 9: But she did, and now I have a big problem
- 57:47Speaker 9: because I have been next door. I saw firsthand what
- 57:52Speaker 9: all of the racket was about. I swear I didn't
- 57:54Speaker 9: mean for it to go down like it did. I
- 57:57Speaker 9: am twenty eight years older than that young woe, and
- 58:00Speaker 9: I feel terrible. I never should have followed her inside
- 58:04Speaker 9: when she asked me to take a look at her
- 58:06Speaker 9: garbage disposal. I'm not even a handyman type of guy,
- 58:10Speaker 9: but I showed her how to reset it. Then we
- 58:13Speaker 9: started talking and one thing led to another, and we
- 58:18Speaker 9: ended up on the floor. The only blessing is that
- 58:21Speaker 9: I didn't have to pay for what I got. That
- 58:23Speaker 9: happened a week ago, and I decided that this woman
- 58:27Speaker 9: needs to move. The last thing I need is her
- 58:29Speaker 9: telling my wife that I was in her home. I'm
- 58:32Speaker 9: thinking about telling the homeowners association that she's a call
- 58:36Speaker 9: girl and has strange men in our building. I'm assuming
- 58:40Speaker 9: that will get her kicked out. Would it be too
- 58:43Speaker 9: low down?
- 58:44Speaker 1: Or should I go for it?
- 58:46Speaker 9: Are you crazy? Really? Are you crazy? You haven't thought
- 58:50Speaker 9: this thing through at all? What do you think is
- 58:52Speaker 9: going to happen when your neighbor finds out that you
- 58:55Speaker 9: went and told the hoa that she's a call girl,
- 58:58Speaker 9: and she's gonna find out and she will tell your wife.
- 59:02Speaker 9: But I think you better hope that your wife doesn't
- 59:05Speaker 9: find out, because you know this is all your fault, right,
- 59:09Speaker 9: You had no business going into that woman's house. You
- 59:11Speaker 9: already knew what it was. You risked everything anyway. Now
- 59:16Speaker 9: you're trying to blame the neighbor, who is just doing
- 59:18Speaker 9: what she does.
- 59:19Speaker 2: That's what she does.
- 59:20Speaker 9: The only thing I can say is that you're not
- 59:22Speaker 9: the first one or the only one who's ever done
- 59:25Speaker 9: something this stupid. But this was really really close to home.
- 59:30Speaker 9: You said that you've decided this woman needs to move.
- 59:32Speaker 9: I think your best bet is to not to get
- 59:34Speaker 9: her out of the condo. But you guys should move
- 59:37Speaker 9: because you're way more at fault than the neighbor for
- 59:40Speaker 9: obvious reasons.
- 59:41Speaker 7: Steve, I don't know what's happening with me and anymore.
- 59:49Speaker 7: You know, we really used to be smarter than this.
- 59:52Speaker 7: You know, it's starting to be why I'm shamed now.
- 59:57Speaker 7: It's really getting to that part of yeah, because I'm like, dog,
- 1:00:03Speaker 7: what it's not making any sense. I've been married for
- 1:00:09Speaker 7: the past twenty two years. That's crazy. And I love
- 1:00:16Speaker 7: that My wife is sheltered. She ain't on social media,
- 1:00:19Speaker 7: and she don't like the party. So you was afraid
- 1:00:22Speaker 7: to move up to the city, But then she told
- 1:00:25Speaker 7: you she was ready for a change. So y'all set
- 1:00:27Speaker 7: up here and bought a condo in a very popular
- 1:00:30Speaker 7: section of Atlanta. They down at the twelve, and they
- 1:00:38Speaker 7: they down there at the twelve. I know exactly where
- 1:00:42Speaker 7: he moved in, I mean, and it's popular down there. Whoa,
- 1:00:49Speaker 7: it's popular at the twelve. Months after we moved in,
- 1:00:53Speaker 7: we got a new neighbor. She's a hot turnover down
- 1:00:55Speaker 7: there too. That's how I know it's a twelve. She's
- 1:00:59Speaker 7: only thirty and she got small kids. And your wife
- 1:01:02Speaker 7: thought that the kids would be making noise and running around.
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: All the time. But to our surprise, we hear a
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: woman motive. We hear the kids. If you know what
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: I mean, Yeah, yeah, I know exactly what you mean.
- 1:01:15Speaker 7: My wife and I saw men in the hallway and
- 1:01:18Speaker 7: on the elevator, and it took weeks for my wife
- 1:01:20Speaker 7: to figure out what's going on next door. I was
- 1:01:23Speaker 7: hoping she never figured out that the neighbor was a
- 1:01:25Speaker 7: working woman.
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: But she did. And now I got a big problem
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: because I've been.
- 1:01:29Speaker 7: Next dough godo. God though, See, boy, let me tell
- 1:01:33Speaker 7: you something. I've been married twenty two years. You've been
- 1:01:38Speaker 7: watching these men go in and out this room on
- 1:01:40Speaker 7: this elevator, and now you'd haven't been over there.
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: Wow, what can you say to that? I just dog?
- 1:01:52Speaker 7: Why are you next? Dop dog? Come on, man, you
- 1:02:02Speaker 7: dog next door. I saw firsthand what all the racket
- 1:02:13Speaker 7: was about. Now here go to I swear I didn't
- 1:02:17Speaker 7: mean for it to go down like it did. I
- 1:02:21Speaker 7: can't stand stupid men. I am twenty eight years older
- 1:02:28Speaker 7: than the young woman, and I feel terrible.
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: She thirty, you fifty eight. I should have never followed
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: her inside, followed her inside, you thought, you know how stupid.
- 1:02:43Speaker 7: I should have never followed her inside when she asked
- 1:02:46Speaker 7: me to look at her garbage disposal. But as you
- 1:02:49Speaker 7: not looking at garbage disposal for you ain't inn maintenance.
- 1:02:53Speaker 7: You stay next door. You've been married twenty two years. Man,
- 1:02:56Speaker 7: I hate this letter.
- 1:02:57Speaker 13: I hate.
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: I hate this letter.
- 1:03:01Speaker 9: I will do We'll have part two of your response
- 1:03:04Speaker 9: coming up with after the hours you make today's Strawberry
- 1:03:10Speaker 9: letter subject what is going on next door?
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: same Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:03:22Speaker 9: Hey everyone, quick health question, even though you're still thriving,
- 1:03:26Speaker 9: still loving, still connecting. Did you know your immune system
- 1:03:29Speaker 9: weakens with age. That's where vaccines come in. They help
- 1:03:32Speaker 9: train and strengthen your immune response to fight off certain
- 1:03:35Speaker 9: respiratory illnesses like flu new Macaco, pneumonia, RSV, and COVID

- 1:03:44Speaker 9: and visit vaxsist dot com. That's vaexsist dot com to
- 1:03:48Speaker 9: schedule one or more of vaccines sponsored by Pfizer.
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: All right, come on, Steve.
- 1:03:53Speaker 9: Let's recap today's strawberry letter, the subject what's going on
- 1:03:57Speaker 9: next door?
- 1:03:59Speaker 7: This may been married twenty two years to a wife
- 1:04:02Speaker 7: who is not a social butterfly, ain't on social media nothing.
- 1:04:08Speaker 7: Then y'all decided, y'all want to move into the city.
- 1:04:11Speaker 7: He was afraid to move her, but she said she
- 1:04:13Speaker 7: was ready for a change. Y'all moved into a very
- 1:04:16Speaker 7: popular and populated condo in downtown Atlanta. I'm guessing it
- 1:04:23Speaker 7: was the twelve. That's why I think they moved into.
- 1:04:29Speaker 7: And then after they was only there for a couple
- 1:04:31Speaker 7: of weeks, a new neighbor moved in. That's how I
- 1:04:33Speaker 7: know it's the twelve because they got high turnover. High
- 1:04:35Speaker 7: turn because you know, some of them boys they money,
- 1:04:39Speaker 7: their money drive up, you know, or they get hit,
- 1:04:42Speaker 7: you know, or that you know that game they en.
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: They money can be good one month and then.
- 1:04:47Speaker 7: You know, they get bumped off, they spot and they
- 1:04:49Speaker 7: gotta go somewhere else, and you know that ain't regular money.
- 1:04:53Speaker 7: And then sometimes you know the record deal money.
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: Drive up, you know. So anyway, it's hot to So
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: this lady moved in thirty years old with two kids.
- 1:05:04Speaker 7: The wife was worried about it because she said the
- 1:05:06Speaker 7: kids were gonna be running around making noise. But it
- 1:05:08Speaker 7: ain't the kids that's making noise. It's her is making noise,
- 1:05:11Speaker 7: if you know what I mean. They have seen men
- 1:05:14Speaker 7: in the hallway, men on the elevator. She's just in there, holling,
- 1:05:18Speaker 7: making all kinds of sounds. The kids know to stay
- 1:05:21Speaker 7: in the back. They don't say nothing. They all back
- 1:05:25Speaker 7: that crying, traumatized.
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: They know what's happening. To feel sorry for.
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: The kids, for the baby.
- 1:05:31Speaker 7: Yeah, they didn't figured it out, mommy and there with
- 1:05:35Speaker 7: some more people. Theyre in there trying to figure out
- 1:05:39Speaker 7: how it wasn't how they didn't get a new mommy
- 1:05:41Speaker 7: and everything. Now, now your wife done finally figured out
- 1:05:47Speaker 7: that she's a working woman. You was hoping she didn't
- 1:05:50Speaker 7: because you have been next door too. She'll stupid behind
- 1:05:57Speaker 7: she said that he did. He swell, he didn't mean
- 1:06:03Speaker 7: for it to go down like it did because he
- 1:06:06Speaker 7: twenty eight years older than this woman. She thirty, he
- 1:06:09Speaker 7: fifty eight. I never should have followed her inside when
- 1:06:14Speaker 7: she asked me to look at her garbage disposed. Boy,
- 1:06:18Speaker 7: don't you know that garbage disposal is a cold word.
- 1:06:24Speaker 7: Her garbage disposal really ain't the one on the sink. Hello, Hello,
- 1:06:32Speaker 7: The garbage disposal she wanted you to check out is
- 1:06:35Speaker 7: not the one on the sink. All right, now, you
- 1:06:39Speaker 7: better better read between these lines, Steve. I'm not even
- 1:06:44Speaker 7: a handyman type guy, but I showed her how to
- 1:06:47Speaker 7: reset it. That's that little red button up under the
- 1:06:50Speaker 7: sink at the bottom of the garbage. Boy, all you
- 1:06:52Speaker 7: gotta do is hit that. All you gotta do is
- 1:06:55Speaker 7: hit that. That ain't nothing. The only blessing now, listen, listen.
- 1:07:00Speaker 7: I showed her how to reset it. Then we started
- 1:07:03Speaker 7: talking and one thing led to another. See this is
- 1:07:06Speaker 7: where people make me sick with these letters. We started
- 1:07:10Speaker 7: talking and one thing led to another like Okay, okay, Dawn,
- 1:07:14Speaker 7: like what like y'all was talking and then you said,
- 1:07:18Speaker 7: it be a whole lot of hollering in here sometime.
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: And then she said, well, I give him something to
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: holler for.
- 1:07:25Speaker 7: And then he say, like what? And then she said,
- 1:07:28Speaker 7: gone back down there and hit that red button again.
- 1:07:31Speaker 7: Now y'all in the flow.
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: Wow.
- 1:07:34Speaker 7: Then we started talking. One thing led to another. We
- 1:07:37Speaker 7: ended up on the floor. The only blessing is I
- 1:07:44Speaker 7: didn't have to pay for what I got. Oh, now
- 1:07:47Speaker 7: it's a blessing. Yeah, the only blessing is I didn't
- 1:07:53Speaker 7: have to pay for what I got. That happened a
- 1:07:57Speaker 7: week ago. And I've decided that this woman needs to
- 1:08:01Speaker 7: move or that what you decided? You know, dog, you
- 1:08:03Speaker 7: ain't really good.
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: At making decisions.
- 1:08:05Speaker 7: I don't know, because just right after week you decided
- 1:08:10Speaker 7: this woman need to move. And how you're gonna pull
- 1:08:12Speaker 7: that off? Last thing I needed for her is telling
- 1:08:14Speaker 7: my wife that I was in her home. Well, you
- 1:08:17Speaker 7: went over there though, to help with the garbage disposed.
- 1:08:22Speaker 7: I'm thinking about telling the homeowners association that she's a
- 1:08:26Speaker 7: car girl and had strange men in our building.
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: I'm assuming that.
- 1:08:30Speaker 7: Would get her kicked out of the twelve. Hell no,
- 1:08:36Speaker 7: that ain't gonna get her kicked out the twelve. Now,
- 1:08:39Speaker 7: you know who's been living in the twelve? Dog that
- 1:08:43Speaker 7: the twelve? Now, I'm just telling you that right now?
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: Who that pizzas to be outnding.
- 1:08:50Speaker 7: That was downstairs a legitimate business. They don't even sell
- 1:08:52Speaker 7: that no more. They trying to clean out that lobby.
- 1:08:55Speaker 7: You can't buy that pizza down there no more.
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: We can still get it, though.
- 1:09:03Speaker 7: I'm gonna tell him that she's a call girl and
- 1:09:05Speaker 7: has strange men in our building. I'm assuming that'll get
- 1:09:09Speaker 7: her kicked out, not other twelve.
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: Homie? Would that be too low down? Or should I
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: go for it? Low down? Was you in there on
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: the float? That was low down? Bro? You can't get
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: them more low down.
- 1:09:22Speaker 7: You've been married twenty two years, you're twenty eight years
- 1:09:24Speaker 7: older than this girl. She got two kids somewhere running
- 1:09:27Speaker 7: around you and there on top of her on the float.
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: Now you want to know what that be low down?
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: Or should I go for it?
- 1:09:35Speaker 7: You can't turn this woman in because if you when
- 1:09:40Speaker 7: they say they go up to her and say you
- 1:09:42Speaker 7: a call girl, you on the.

- 1:13:37Speaker 7: That's the show because you've seen everything, but he don't
- 1:13:41Speaker 7: have it no more weight and take you nowhere thirty.

- 1:13:52Speaker 1: social media needs to make.
- 1:13:56Speaker 9: She says, how soon it's too soon to be honest
- 1:13:59Speaker 9: about what you're into. She needs some advice. Like I said,
- 1:14:02Speaker 9: we'll talk about it right after this. You're listening to
- 1:14:05Speaker 9: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, This is from
- 1:14:12Speaker 9: Melissa on Steve HARVEFM. Melissa says, I've dated a few
- 1:14:15Speaker 9: great guys in recent years, but both relationships fizzled once
- 1:14:21Speaker 9: we realized we weren't on the same page when it
- 1:14:23Speaker 9: came to certain things in the bedroom. I have pretty
- 1:14:26Speaker 9: specific preferences. Nothing too wild or unmanageable. Maybe something along
- 1:14:34Speaker 9: the lines of the movie Fifty Shades of Gray. Anyway, Yeah,
- 1:14:40Speaker 9: that is a lot. Yeah, anyway, It's not the kind
- 1:14:45Speaker 9: of thing you can bring up on a first or
- 1:14:47Speaker 9: even a third date. But I also don't want to
- 1:14:50Speaker 9: waste time building something that's missing such an important connection.
- 1:14:55Speaker 9: How do you find someone who's into the same things
- 1:14:58Speaker 9: as you are without for sharing too soon?
- 1:15:02Speaker 2: Yeah, you're gonna have to go to a swinger's club.
- 1:15:05Speaker 7: What you had to go downtown somewhere by your membership
- 1:15:11Speaker 7: and walk in and you can find all that down there.
- 1:15:14Speaker 2: That's what you need to do.
- 1:15:16Speaker 7: You trying to find a steady relationship. Ain't nobody finna
- 1:15:19Speaker 7: do this here with you? And the third time it's
- 1:15:22Speaker 7: too early. You need to pull up a little bit.
- 1:15:24Speaker 7: Everybody ain't ready for all this hits to innocent, all.
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: This craziness, you do it. That's why you can't.
- 1:15:31Speaker 7: You ain't got nobody now, because when you do bring
- 1:15:34Speaker 7: up what you really into, you need whatever you into,
- 1:15:38Speaker 7: you need to get out of.
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: She scares them off, Steve, she scares them.
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: Yeah, you too much.
- 1:15:43Speaker 7: Don't nobody won't tell nobody going home? Introduce you to
- 1:15:46Speaker 7: your mama. Cost the night.
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: I'm finna be frightened. I'm not finn date nobody. I'm
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: scared of.
- 1:15:56Speaker 7: Now I'm in here. I got to I got to cover,
- 1:15:58Speaker 7: pull up to my neck and I'm shaking up under
- 1:16:00Speaker 7: the bed because now here you then pulled out this
- 1:16:04Speaker 7: suitcase up under the bed with all this in it
- 1:16:08Speaker 7: that I don't know what's god of it? You got
- 1:16:10Speaker 7: stuff hanging on hangers in the claws in you to
- 1:16:12Speaker 7: pull out right here. I'm hearing all these noises and stuff,
- 1:16:16Speaker 7: all this extra stuff, ro box coming out the corner,
- 1:16:19Speaker 7: moving around by.
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: If you do all this sitting up in here, got
- 1:16:25Speaker 2: the little animals running loose in here? Whats just doing?
- 1:16:30Speaker 2: Got on the little gerbils in the room, talking about
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: whole this wiping off. I'm not wiping off this. No,
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: we're not doing all this. What is you talking about.
- 1:16:41Speaker 13: Now?
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: I'm not feeling that way? What what you mean? Bite
- 1:16:43Speaker 2: down on this till I'm coming. Not what what you want?

- 1:17:23Speaker 2: Hey, hey, hey, what what is the generator. Folks, what
- 1:17:32Speaker 2: are you finn to do tonight?
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: Stupid?
- 1:17:38Speaker 2: Hey, hey, hey, what is you heating up in that skiller?
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: What's happening?
- 1:17:47Speaker 4: She said?
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: Nothing too wild or unmanaged?
- 1:17:51Speaker 10: What you mean?
- 1:17:53Speaker 2: Picked up a couple of live chickens on the way.

- 1:18:42Speaker 7: I am the King, Colbert, what do you mean, Brandon?
- 1:18:45Speaker 14: Oh?
- 1:18:47Speaker 9: This ignorant show coming up in twenty minutes after the hour.
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:19:00Speaker 9: In trending animal news, visitors at the San Diego Zoo
- 1:19:03Speaker 9: were stunned earlier this week when a gorilla charged at
- 1:19:07Speaker 9: the glass, the glass viewing panel that they had at
- 1:19:10Speaker 9: the zoo and cracked it.
- 1:19:13Speaker 2: Oh oh uh.
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: It was a dramatic moment. It was caught on video.
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: Visitors were watching the.
- 1:19:18Speaker 9: Gorillas when a ten year old gorilla named Denny suddenly
- 1:19:21Speaker 9: ran toward the glass, cracked it. The crowd gas and uh,
- 1:19:26Speaker 9: some backed away while others leaned in for a closer look.
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: Zoo officials, this is the good news here, This is
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: the good news. Say Denny wasn't hurt. That's what they
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: said about every word.
- 1:19:39Speaker 2: All right, Genny over cracking glass, an'ybody worried about it?
- 1:19:43Speaker 2: Ginny hurt? Denny doing about that glass and grab one
- 1:19:47Speaker 2: of the little white kids. That's where the problem would
- 1:19:50Speaker 2: have had it wasn't. We called them Denny's. So anyway, man,
- 1:19:54Speaker 2: anybody's name is Denny. I saw that video.
- 1:19:58Speaker 7: He slammed into that glass and that glass broke, but
- 1:20:00Speaker 7: then he didn't know it broke, and he walked down.
- 1:20:02Speaker 2: To the other side. But I didn't understand the people
- 1:20:06Speaker 2: that were steal vab though.
- 1:20:07Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: Closer yeah.
- 1:20:11Speaker 6: Uh.
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: They said Denny wasn't hurt. That's according to the zoo officials.
- 1:20:14Speaker 9: They also explained that this kind of behavior is normal
- 1:20:18Speaker 9: for young male gorillas, and he was not trying to
- 1:20:21Speaker 9: hurt anyone.
- 1:20:21Speaker 2: He didn't got tired of them calling him Denny. That's
- 1:20:24Speaker 2: what this is.
- 1:20:28Speaker 7: First of all, I'm running when I see him running
- 1:20:32Speaker 7: towards the glass.
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: H uh huh yeah, all right, guys, coming up, we'll

- 1:22:38Speaker 7: now be a horrible movie with me.
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: And it all right.
- 1:22:44Speaker 9: Would you rather give a pre game or post game
- 1:22:47Speaker 9: speech to your favorite football team?

- 1:23:09Speaker 2: What pre info. I'm so sick of this, sugar honey
- 1:23:13Speaker 2: ice tea, I am.
- 1:23:17Speaker 9: Would you rather your favorite team lose every game of
- 1:23:20Speaker 9: the season or lose in the final seconds of the
- 1:23:23Speaker 9: last game that they would have made the playoffs?
- 1:23:25Speaker 2: We're doing that right now. Surely we don't have to hope.
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: I thought you were going to well, I don't know
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: right now.
- 1:23:33Speaker 4: I do.
- 1:23:36Speaker 2: We're going did y'all win the other night? We was
- 1:23:44Speaker 2: off this week because I play Monday night Football Night. Okay,
- 1:23:48Speaker 2: So so y'all two and three right now? Yeah? Three losses?
- 1:23:53Speaker 2: Where do you see super Bowl in that?
- 1:23:57Speaker 11: As we as we progress, as we keep moving forward,
- 1:24:00Speaker 11: we'll see you see something, you'll see it, We'll see something.
- 1:24:04Speaker 2: We're looking forward to it.
- 1:24:05Speaker 7: You know, well, I got news. I see one in

- 1:24:36Speaker 9: Harvey with his closing remarks.
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:24:46Speaker 11: God, this is Fantasia and right now you're listening to
- 1:24:49Speaker 11: my man, the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:24:53Speaker 9: Hey everyone, quick health questions. Even though you're still thriving,
- 1:24:57Speaker 9: still loving, still connecting, did you know you're a mune

- 1:25:03Speaker 9: help train and strengthen your immune response to fight off
- 1:25:06Speaker 9: certain respiratory illnesses like flu new Macaco, pneumonia, RSV, and

- 1:25:15Speaker 9: need and visit vaxsist dot com that's vaexsists dot com
- 1:25:19Speaker 9: to schedule one or more of vaccines sponsored by Pfizer.
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: All right, guys, here we are last break of the
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: day on this Thursday. Well, it was a great day
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: as far as I'm concerned, It's always a great day.
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: We have a great audience. I mean, come on, thank
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: you guys. We appreciate it. Steve, all we need is
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: you right now?
- 1:25:42Speaker 2: Hey, Junior asked me a question earlers, Jake Junior, what
- 1:25:46Speaker 2: was your question earlier?
- 1:25:47Speaker 8: Yeah, I was saying, you know, how do you deal
- 1:25:50Speaker 8: with people who always forget all the things you've done
- 1:25:52Speaker 8: for them? You know, and they tear you down as
- 1:25:55Speaker 8: soon as you don't do anything they ask you to do,
- 1:25:57Speaker 8: so the one time you can't do it, you nothing to.
- 1:26:01Speaker 7: Well, you know, it's because the average person has selective memory,
- 1:26:08Speaker 7: and the majority of people that you know live under
- 1:26:11Speaker 7: the what have you done for me lately, Banner, And
- 1:26:14Speaker 7: if you around people like that, you definitely have to
- 1:26:17Speaker 7: change your environment with these people. You have to rid
- 1:26:20Speaker 7: yourself with people like that. See, what you're not going
- 1:26:23Speaker 7: to do is constantly make me the reason why you ain't.
- 1:26:28Speaker 7: I'm not gonna keep being the reason that you ain't.
- 1:26:33Speaker 7: Do you understand that you ain't because of you? It
- 1:26:37Speaker 7: really has nothing to do with me. I am not
- 1:26:40Speaker 7: going to be the reason why you didn't make it.
- 1:26:43Speaker 7: I'm not gonna be the reason you're not successful or happy.
- 1:26:46Speaker 7: I'm not going to be the reason. And I'm not
- 1:26:49Speaker 7: going to exist within your boundaries that keep me confined
- 1:26:53Speaker 7: to that role in your life. And people often forget
- 1:26:58Speaker 7: because they have select memory. Let me ask you a question.
- 1:27:02Speaker 7: But the last time somebody came up to you and said, hey, listen,
- 1:27:07Speaker 7: I know you helped me in eighty five, and I
- 1:27:09Speaker 7: really appreciate that. Then I came back in eighty seven,
- 1:27:11Speaker 7: you came through again. Then when ninety came, you really
- 1:27:14Speaker 7: helped me out, man, And I didn't never pay you
- 1:27:16Speaker 7: back a number. Then ninety five I got in another crisscrossing.
- 1:27:19Speaker 7: Here you was again, and you've always been there for me.
- 1:27:22Speaker 7: And in two thousand and then you bailed me out
- 1:27:24Speaker 7: again and I couldn't afford to pay you back. Man,
- 1:27:27Speaker 7: And that and there's two thy fifteen or something else
- 1:27:31Speaker 7: happened and you was there for me. It was it
- 1:27:32Speaker 7: was twenty twenty five. And man, you've done so much
- 1:27:36Speaker 7: for me and I I really shouldn't even ask you
- 1:27:40Speaker 7: for anything else because of all the things you've done
- 1:27:43Speaker 7: for me, you really don't owe me anything.
- 1:27:46Speaker 2: As a matter of fact.
- 1:27:47Speaker 7: You know what, man, Now that I went over the
- 1:27:49Speaker 7: inventory of everything that is, Hey, man, let me just
- 1:27:52Speaker 7: go on about my business, because you've already done enough
- 1:27:55Speaker 7: for me.
- 1:27:56Speaker 2: You ever heard that speech before? Nope, you probably never
- 1:28:03Speaker 2: will because people have selective memory. They forget all of that.
- 1:28:09Speaker 2: They just want what they want now. But see, why
- 1:28:13Speaker 2: is it me that has to be the fix for you? See?
- 1:28:18Speaker 7: I often say, if you didn't have my number, who
- 1:28:21Speaker 7: would you call? Well, dog gonna get to calling because
- 1:28:26Speaker 7: I'm not going to be it every time something goes wrong.
- 1:28:32Speaker 7: Stop allowing people to make you the reason. Stop allowing
- 1:28:37Speaker 7: your children to make you the reason why they aren't
- 1:28:42Speaker 7: where they want to be. Look, we've all made mistakes
- 1:28:47Speaker 7: as parents. Lord knows I have I've made a plenty mistakes,
- 1:28:52Speaker 7: but I've tried to correct them. Some of them got corrected,
- 1:28:57Speaker 7: some of them were just lessons that everybody had to learn.
- 1:29:00Speaker 2: Them and me.
- 1:29:02Speaker 7: But you will not, as an adult, keep hanging it
- 1:29:05Speaker 7: over my head or why I wasn't there when you
- 1:29:08Speaker 7: needed me back then, because every time you ask me
- 1:29:11Speaker 7: for something, now I'm here. So I'm gonna stop being
- 1:29:15Speaker 7: the reason why you ain't where you want to be
- 1:29:18Speaker 7: because I keep trying to get you somewhere. But you're
- 1:29:21Speaker 7: not gonna keep making it about me. No, and it's
- 1:29:23Speaker 7: not my job.
- 1:29:24Speaker 2: At one point in time.
- 1:29:25Speaker 7: A person has to be responsible for themselves because haven't
- 1:29:29Speaker 7: you had to be responsible for yourself? Haven't you had
- 1:29:34Speaker 7: to be the one the whole time to.
- 1:29:37Speaker 2: Take care of you.
- 1:29:39Speaker 7: The majority of people who are trying to climb the
- 1:29:43Speaker 7: letter success, you don't have a lot of people you
- 1:29:47Speaker 7: can go to when something go wrong. Think about it.
- 1:29:51Speaker 7: Who can you pick up the phone right now and
- 1:29:54Speaker 7: just ask them to bail you out? Do you know
- 1:29:58Speaker 7: how hard that is? Because your journey to success it's
- 1:30:02Speaker 7: a lonely role. Ricky Minor had the Tight Level Book,
- 1:30:07Speaker 7: a book that I absolutely loved. The title of his
- 1:30:09Speaker 7: book was, ain't no traffic on the extra mile? Because
- 1:30:13Speaker 7: y'all out there on that extra mile trying to do more.
- 1:30:16Speaker 7: Ain't no traffic out there, So it ain't a lot
- 1:30:19Speaker 7: of help out there. But somebody always feel like they
- 1:30:23Speaker 7: can call you for help. You ever noticed that? How
- 1:30:27Speaker 7: you always the one? Ain't that crazy? Now you can't
- 1:30:33Speaker 7: call them for a slice of pie? But they got
- 1:30:37Speaker 7: your number on speed dial, and here they come with
- 1:30:41Speaker 7: that guilt.
- 1:30:42Speaker 2: I know you got it. I've been watching you. I'm
- 1:30:45Speaker 2: so proud of you. Who you doing?
- 1:30:47Speaker 7: All that you on them shows? Hey, listen, we guide
- 1:30:50Speaker 7: ourselves in a bad spot. Yes you did, Yes you did.
- 1:30:56Speaker 7: And you know what I think you ought to do.
- 1:30:58Speaker 7: I think I think you ought to work yourself out
- 1:31:00Speaker 7: that bad spot, because you know what I have to do.
- 1:31:04Speaker 7: Whenever I get in a bad spot, I gotta work
- 1:31:07Speaker 7: myself out of it. I got to get myself through it.
- 1:31:13Speaker 7: But because of my relationship with God, I always I
- 1:31:17Speaker 7: always get through it. He ain't ever letting me down.
- 1:31:21Speaker 4: Now.
- 1:31:22Speaker 2: It's been tight, it's been a struggle. My head is
