- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your back, dad, Uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:02Speaker 1: If your morning everybody you're listening to the voice, come
- 2:06Speaker 1: on dig me now, one it on. It's Steve Harvey
- 2:09Speaker 1: man oh man. Got a radio show. Yeah, trying to
- 2:12Speaker 1: make it work too. I'm not trying. I'm I'm I'm,
- 2:14Speaker 1: I'm I'm getting it. I'm getting it done to the
- 2:18Speaker 1: best of my abilities. Now. Something funny my father taught me.
- 2:24Speaker 1: He says, son, when you've done all you can do,
- 2:28Speaker 1: if you've done your absolute best and you look up
- 2:33Speaker 1: and it didn't get the job done, take a deep
- 2:37Speaker 1: breath and do some more. That used to bug me, man,
- 2:43Speaker 1: when my father used to tell me, that's the son.
- 2:45Speaker 1: When you've done your absolute best, and you think you kn'
- 2:49Speaker 1: do no more. You've done all you can and it
- 2:52Speaker 1: still don't get the job done. Take yourself a deep
- 2:57Speaker 1: breath and do some more. And you know what I
- 3:02Speaker 1: found that has worked every single time, every single time,
- 3:09Speaker 1: because what my father knew was that what you think
- 3:15Speaker 1: is your breaking point, or what you think is you're
- 3:18Speaker 1: all at all? He says, son, it's just something about it. Man.
- 3:23Speaker 1: If you just gather yourself, you got a little bit more.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Everybody got some more. And you know, I gotta be
- 3:34Speaker 1: honest with you, it has worked. It has helped me greatly.
- 3:38Speaker 1: And um, you know if everybody does have some more.
- 3:42Speaker 1: You know, I tell that to my sons all the time,
- 3:45Speaker 1: that I did my best. Well the marriage to something else?
- 3:48Speaker 1: Could you have done anything else? Could you have studied
- 3:50Speaker 1: a little harder, could you have shown up a little
- 3:53Speaker 1: bit earlier, could you stayed a little bit later? Yeah,
- 3:59Speaker 1: well then okay that's what you should have done. Then. See,
- 4:02Speaker 1: that's always a way. But if you're going to create excuses,
- 4:08Speaker 1: if you're gonna make them up all the time about
- 4:10Speaker 1: why you don't get it done, I have a very
- 4:13Speaker 1: very sad uh statement for you, right Now you're never
- 4:18Speaker 1: gonna get anything done. You're never gonna get to the top,
- 4:22Speaker 1: not to the top. You can get halfway up, now,
- 4:26Speaker 1: you can get a third of the way up, you
- 4:27Speaker 1: can get three quarters of the way up. But if
- 4:30Speaker 1: you don't have that little extra reserve in you, you're
- 4:33Speaker 1: not getting to the top. The top is only reserved
- 4:37Speaker 1: for those that have the wherewithal and the power to desire,
- 4:43Speaker 1: the drive and the gut riching effort to get to
- 4:49Speaker 1: the top. The top is reserved only for the top.
- 4:53Speaker 1: It's just the top. The ain't but one top and
- 4:55Speaker 1: the middle done it, ain't it? You know, the top,
- 4:58Speaker 1: the top of the mountain. Everywhere it's a different view.
- 5:01Speaker 1: At the top, things look different from up top. So
- 5:05Speaker 1: if you want to get to the top of whatever
- 5:08Speaker 1: your profession, your field, your career, whatever it is, you
- 5:15Speaker 1: got to do extra. You have to do more. More
- 5:19Speaker 1: is expected of you. More. But here's what's really crazy.
- 5:23Speaker 1: More is required of you. Don't live your life in
- 5:27Speaker 1: the lacks of daisical state. Don't wake up every day
- 5:31Speaker 1: with the feeling of, well, you know, whatever happens happens now, man,
- 5:36Speaker 1: have us say so in your life, you, first of
- 5:39Speaker 1: all let me ask you something. Who has God named
- 5:44Speaker 1: the person that? How that God has given authority over you?
- 5:49Speaker 1: Named the person? Where is it in scripture? Where anywhere where?
- 5:54Speaker 1: Show me anywhere where it says this person has the
- 5:59Speaker 1: right over you, this person right here, this one right here.
- 6:04Speaker 1: You have to do everything they say and what they say.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Only show me that right there, Show me who they're
- 6:12Speaker 1: talking about. Certainly, certainly I have not met that person. Now.
- 6:18Speaker 1: My parents were great to me, and there was their
- 6:21Speaker 1: job to offer me lead, leadership and guidance along along
- 6:25Speaker 1: the way. But as I grew up, man, I had
- 6:27Speaker 1: to go out here and get it on my you know,
- 6:29Speaker 1: I had to go out here and get it on
- 6:30Speaker 1: my own. But who is the person? Nobody has domain
- 6:34Speaker 1: over you. God didn't create that person. So what you're
- 6:38Speaker 1: sitting here for? Man? What are you sitting here for?
- 6:41Speaker 1: Letting people who do not know direct your path? A
- 6:47Speaker 1: lot of us get stopped because we were worried so
- 6:51Speaker 1: much about what people think about us. Were worried too
- 6:55Speaker 1: much about what people say about us. Why are you
- 7:00Speaker 1: worried about all these people with what they got to
- 7:03Speaker 1: say about you, and all these people with what they
- 7:05Speaker 1: got to think about you when here's the news flash,
- 7:08Speaker 1: they don't know either. All these people that you overly
- 7:13Speaker 1: concerned about, all these people that you going to these
- 7:18Speaker 1: answers for, they need answers to stop. What are you
- 7:24Speaker 1: doing here? Gather yourself for a minute. Here is a
- 7:28Speaker 1: solution to all of that. You have one source that
- 7:32Speaker 1: will be there for you to the end of time,
- 7:35Speaker 1: and that is your relationship with God. That is the
- 7:39Speaker 1: one thing that's solid and for shure, he's behind the wall.
- 7:44Speaker 1: He's in your jail cell. He rides with you in
- 7:46Speaker 1: the police car. He's with you on your job up
- 7:49Speaker 1: at to school. He's down there in the board meetings
- 7:52Speaker 1: with you. He goes with you when you travel on planes.
- 7:56Speaker 1: He sits with you when you're in a relationship. He
- 7:59Speaker 1: helps you with your parenting skills. He helps you. He's
- 8:02Speaker 1: there to assist you. He shows if you do the
- 8:05Speaker 1: right things, he show you and guide you to your
- 8:07Speaker 1: next job. When you lose your job and you think
- 8:09Speaker 1: it's a wrap all, there's some good behind it. Man.
- 8:13Speaker 1: God is always working on your behalf. To those that
- 8:16Speaker 1: believe you, just gotta believe. He don't ask you for
- 8:19Speaker 1: nothing else. Believe in me. That's all He asked you
- 8:22Speaker 1: to do what you're tripping for. Man, and then when
- 8:25Speaker 1: you make the decision to believe in him, and it
- 8:28Speaker 1: comes out your mouth from time to time somewhere what
- 8:31Speaker 1: you're worried about, what people say, What you're worried about,
- 8:34Speaker 1: what they think for? Why who are they? They need God?
- 8:37Speaker 1: To you? You? You? You're telling them you found something
- 8:40Speaker 1: new that you're gonna give this a shot right here. Now.
- 8:43Speaker 1: They got some yang ying yang and some yakety yact
- 8:45Speaker 1: to say about that when they need God too. That's
- 8:49Speaker 1: what amazes me, man about people sit up in here, man,
- 8:52Speaker 1: be knocking your dream and stuff. Look, if you're an atheist, man,
- 8:55Speaker 1: do your thing, do your thing. But you can't create
- 8:58Speaker 1: no laws while I can't do mine. Don't make no sense, man,
- 9:02Speaker 1: that makes no sense at all to me. You have
- 9:06Speaker 1: the right to go be whatever you wanna be. You
- 9:09Speaker 1: know if you don't, you don't like the fact that
- 9:11Speaker 1: I'm in school. You got my head biled down and
- 9:13Speaker 1: I'm saying a prayer for I take this test. Just
- 9:16Speaker 1: don't buy your head, don't you pray? But if some
- 9:19Speaker 1: kids want to get to go that that's some crazy mess.
- 9:21Speaker 1: That's what happened in our schools. We took prayer out
- 9:23Speaker 1: of schools. Now look at our schools, our schools. Man,
- 9:28Speaker 1: you you you you you you? You send your child
- 9:31Speaker 1: at school and and and someone else comes back home.
- 9:38Speaker 1: That's a whole another thing right here. That that's not
- 9:40Speaker 1: what I want to talk to you about. But I
- 9:42Speaker 1: was just throwing it out because you know, hey, man,
- 9:45Speaker 1: your relationship with God is essential to your success as
- 9:48Speaker 1: a person. It's essential to your existence. It's essential to
- 9:51Speaker 1: where you're trying to go and what you're trying to be.
- 9:54Speaker 1: Because He made you. Why would you not talk to
- 9:58Speaker 1: the person that made you to find out what he
- 10:00Speaker 1: created you for. I ain't talking about your parents, who
- 10:04Speaker 1: made your parents. This is God, we created in his image.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Why would you not talk to your maker to see
- 10:12Speaker 1: why you got made? That? That don't that don't make
- 10:16Speaker 1: sense to you. If you're sitting and getting yourself in
- 10:19Speaker 1: a situation, you're sitting in the jail cell somewhere, you
- 10:22Speaker 1: locked up, you're doing some time, man, be a good
- 10:26Speaker 1: time for you to reflect. But whatever your situation is, man,
- 10:29Speaker 1: God can get you through it. He can give you
- 10:31Speaker 1: the strength, the courage to wherewithal the understanding everything. You
- 10:36Speaker 1: need the wisdom to get you through anything you're going through.
- 10:39Speaker 1: You just got a touch base with him. I need
- 10:43Speaker 1: God every single day of my life and what he's
- 10:48Speaker 1: done for me. Man off the chain. But guess what,
- 10:54Speaker 1: you'll do the same thing for you. You're listening to
- 11:00Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, people from all around
- 11:03Speaker 1: the world. You listened to the baddest morning showing the land. Man.
- 11:07Speaker 1: It ain't a question. I ain't asking you your opinion.
- 11:10Speaker 1: I just told you I stay in the fact. This
- 11:12Speaker 1: the baddest morning show the world. Gonna listen to the
- 11:15Speaker 1: other ones when you get through listening to him? Is
- 11:17Speaker 1: it right here? Good morning Color, Good morning Steve Harvey,

- 13:19Speaker 1: it and they know it's wrong. Yeah. Yeah, Sean Spicer
- 13:23Speaker 1: just got it one day and just now I just
- 13:25Speaker 1: can't go out here. I can't walk. I can't walk
- 13:29Speaker 1: out here and tell another lie. It was good at it, man,
- 13:33Speaker 1: I respect right guy. Man. He held company line, he
- 13:38Speaker 1: would get mad though he didn't have the right temperament
- 13:40Speaker 1: for the job. But that's day after day, surely going
- 13:43Speaker 1: out there for thirty minutes with reporters. Know you laugh,
- 13:46Speaker 1: you know everybody lasts sometimes, but every David day. But
- 13:52Speaker 1: thirty minutes he had a rough job. Yeah he did, Yes,

- 15:44Speaker 1: nowhere close. My nephew told me the other day, when

- 23:33Speaker 1: And I ain't trying to create no problem, but somebody
- 23:35Speaker 1: got to fix my car. And I got light blue
- 23:36Speaker 1: scratches on my beds Uh. Last I checked my light
- 23:41Speaker 1: blue clamming. Wasn't only light blue camera they made. Ma'am,
- 23:44Speaker 1: you're the only light You're the only light blue car
- 23:47Speaker 1: in the parking only light blue car parking lot. Right now,
- 23:52Speaker 1: I ain't gonna say I've been the only light blue
- 23:54Speaker 1: car in the damn parking lot. Man, I'm done. Look
- 23:59Speaker 1: and I'm the miller watching. What can I do for you?
- 24:03Speaker 1: What do you mean, what can you do for me?
- 24:04Speaker 1: You didn't hit my cart? Touch your damn call. If
- 24:07Speaker 1: you got some cameras out in this park lot that
- 24:09Speaker 1: saw me hit your car. No, I don't have no cameras.
- 24:12Speaker 1: But then I believe this conversation is over, and I
- 24:17Speaker 1: don't give a damn what's across That man across the
- 24:19Speaker 1: hall told you, look, let me tell you something. You
- 24:22Speaker 1: didn't hit my car. Now you're gonna do whatever? Hold on?
- 24:24Speaker 1: Hold on? Uh? Is you yelling at me? I'm not
- 24:28Speaker 1: yelling at you, But you didn't hit my car. You
- 24:30Speaker 1: don't only touch the only light blue car in the
- 24:34Speaker 1: parking line, only light blue car in the parking lot.
- 24:37Speaker 1: Now and as a matter of correct, my cal eat
- 24:40Speaker 1: me in the parking lot. My supposed to bar my car,
- 24:42Speaker 1: go to the stop. Well, is it possible that your
- 24:44Speaker 1: sister is the one that hit my car? Now? Now? What? Okay?
- 24:49Speaker 1: Is your sister when is she coming back? Maybe she
- 24:52Speaker 1: hit my car? And then tell you she hit my car.
- 24:54Speaker 1: She ain't hit your car. She can't hit your car
- 24:56Speaker 1: cause she would have told me she hit your damn call. Look, Uh,
- 25:00Speaker 1: I said, ain't nobody to hit your damn car? My car.
- 25:03Speaker 1: Ain't got no damn scratches on it. They won't give
- 25:08Speaker 1: up what kind of scratches you got on your car?
- 25:11Speaker 1: But I can't do a damn thing about it. And
- 25:13Speaker 1: even if you're dead, let me just be clear, I
- 25:15Speaker 1: ain't got no insurance, no way, so I can't do
- 25:18Speaker 1: nothing for you. Wait a minute, Wait a minute, let
- 25:20Speaker 1: me tell you something. You ain't gotta tell me. You
- 25:23Speaker 1: ain't gotta seeing me. Fine, and as far as I'm concerned,
- 25:26Speaker 1: this conversation is over. Wait minute, let me ask you.
- 25:33Speaker 1: Miss You act like I ain't got you about You
- 25:41Speaker 1: had them scratches on your car all ready, and you
- 25:45Speaker 1: ain't going to use me as no more an excuse
- 25:48Speaker 1: to get you no new papers. I had no scratches
- 25:50Speaker 1: already on my car. Yeah you had him? Oh yeah
- 25:52Speaker 1: you had no I'm gonna tell him. An insurance is
- 25:55Speaker 1: just if he come over here. No, because you're gonna
- 25:59Speaker 1: be using your Sure it's not now read told you
- 26:01Speaker 1: ain't got don't make me come over to your apartment. No. Seven,
- 26:04Speaker 1: standing in the dough. I'm on my way to the
- 26:05Speaker 1: dog now I'm standing in the door. Come out, Come on. Look,
- 26:09Speaker 1: I got thirty five hundred dollars worth for scratches on
- 26:12Speaker 1: my car that you need to pay for. You the
- 26:14Speaker 1: only you're the only hundred dollars. So you're already doing
- 26:20Speaker 1: better than me. What what? What? What? Look? I've already
- 26:25Speaker 1: told you. I'm tired of talking to you. I'm watching

- 26:31Speaker 1: I need to talk to you about this car. Lady. Listen,

- 27:07Speaker 1: you one moment. Go ahead on all. I want to

- 28:19Speaker 1: Raymond News got me through, commor got me through everybody. Yes, sir,
- 28:26Speaker 1: read Buddy's sweet. They got a lot of salt in
- 28:30Speaker 1: a lot of press up. I can't have none of that.
- 28:36Speaker 1: What can you eat? Nothing? Because I just thought it
- 28:41Speaker 1: with sugar. Honestly, I give you chips and cheese. It's
- 28:44Speaker 1: all that. I could have killed you. He sorry. I
- 28:47Speaker 1: went out sat in Parky like we got off the
- 28:48Speaker 1: other day. JA the car shaking what what what do
- 28:55Speaker 1: you mean? What he was? I had to grab him.
- 28:58Speaker 1: Jay was in the truck shaking. It is something he
- 29:00Speaker 1: had to take. But it sugarless. It's no sugar. Some
- 29:06Speaker 1: sugar in it. Why did you have it. I didn't
- 29:10Speaker 1: know it was that sweet. I had no idea I'm
- 29:12Speaker 1: telling so this is a true story. Grab Jake. Oh
- 29:15Speaker 1: my goodness, So you saved his life. He owed me,
- 29:19Speaker 1: but he didn't. Wow. Well, I'm glad you you made it. Check.
- 29:28Speaker 1: You're welcome. I think I was walking by. I started
- 29:33Speaker 1: to go to the restaurant and you were like, nah,
- 29:40Speaker 1: so you gotta take peals or a shot. I just
- 29:43Speaker 1: take peals. I don't take the shot. Well, you don't
- 29:46Speaker 1: like needles. No, Type ones are type two. It depends
- 29:49Speaker 1: on what your Okay, shut up, Houston, just to let
- 29:55Speaker 1: y'all know this is sick and you had h a
- 30:00Speaker 1: diabeby if we call them sick and die and they
- 30:03Speaker 1: go at it all the time, yeah, they doing to
- 30:06Speaker 1: bring awareness, but it's it's in a crazy type one.
- 30:11Speaker 1: Well we make you aware. Same. Well. You know, I
- 30:16Speaker 1: sit here and I listen and I try to play
- 30:19Speaker 1: the role. You know, being a leader at all, you
- 30:21Speaker 1: got to allow others to explore their capacity. And that's
- 30:26Speaker 1: what I'm doing. And I'm just letting you know. It's flow,
- 30:31Speaker 1: it's going good, it's sounding good. I'm excited, all right, listen,
- 30:36Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour, U MS
- 30:39Speaker 1: Anne will be here with our national news. You're listening
- 30:43Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Show. Welcome to our Phillies and
- 30:48Speaker 1: new family member Houston. All right, one oh four or
- 30:51Speaker 1: five Kiss FM, straight out of Houston. Yeah, alright, Steve,
- 30:56Speaker 1: here we go. The n r A opposes the bump
- 30:59Speaker 1: stock bill. While the n r A may have indicated
- 31:02Speaker 1: they were interested in an immediate review of federal regulations
- 31:06Speaker 1: on bump stocks, the device which allows semi automatic rifles
- 31:09Speaker 1: to function like fully automatic weapons, they are apparently not
- 31:13Speaker 1: for congressional legislation that would ban their production. Following this
- 31:17Speaker 1: month's devastating shooting in Las Vegas at a country music festival,
- 31:22Speaker 1: UH in which the shooter used bump stocks that allowed
- 31:25Speaker 1: him to kill fifty eight people and hurt over five
- 31:28Speaker 1: hundred others, I mean, you know, God, what a horrible,
- 31:33Speaker 1: horrible here's a deal. The n I, which is the
- 31:37Speaker 1: largest contributor to politics, you know, one of the largest
- 31:41Speaker 1: contributors to politics. They controlled the Republican Party with the
- 31:46Speaker 1: Second Amendment and contributions to the Republican campaign. So when
- 31:51Speaker 1: the massacre, the dreadful massacre and all Las Vegas first occurred,
- 31:56Speaker 1: they came up and said, well, it wasn't really a
- 31:59Speaker 1: semi automatic. Ques had a bump on it, and we're
- 32:01Speaker 1: in support of banning these types of things. Well, because
- 32:06Speaker 1: they were, everybody was on TV with it. Well, now
- 32:09Speaker 1: the coverage of the massacre has died down and they
- 32:12Speaker 1: write back to business as usual. They're against banning the
- 32:16Speaker 1: sale and manufacturing of the bump stock which the guy
- 32:19Speaker 1: used to kill all those innocent people in Las Vegas.
- 32:23Speaker 1: So I mean, like I told you, as soon as
- 32:26Speaker 1: it's over, they're going to they're going to go back
- 32:32Speaker 1: to what they do because nothing matters more to them
- 32:34Speaker 1: than money. Nobody's life is more important than the money
- 32:38Speaker 1: they can make. Nobody they ain't raised either, it's just dollars. Well,
- 32:46Speaker 1: when is it enough? Though, I don't know, is how
- 32:50Speaker 1: many victims? How many people have to die for there
- 32:54Speaker 1: to be some type of legislation exactly. This is the
- 32:58Speaker 1: only time we really talk about it is when well
- 33:01Speaker 1: I thought, like when that food went up there and
- 33:04Speaker 1: shot all those uh political people playing baseball, I said, okay,
- 33:08Speaker 1: not going because but I found out, No, they care
- 33:12Speaker 1: more about money than them people too. So it's a
- 33:15Speaker 1: shame it really is. You know, I mean, what do
- 33:20Speaker 1: you do? Well, I mean, what do we do? We
- 33:23Speaker 1: gotta keep fighting. But as long as they're pouring money
- 33:27Speaker 1: into the Republican Party at the rate that they're pouring in,
- 33:32Speaker 1: and they used the Second Amendment, but they're also using
- 33:35Speaker 1: it to mask other things, other pieces of platform that
- 33:40Speaker 1: they cause. Here's a funny thing, man, this whole conservative movement,
- 33:44Speaker 1: which there are some really cool conservative people out there,
- 33:47Speaker 1: and it's over. It's okay that to think conservatively. I'm
- 33:52Speaker 1: I'm okay with the conservative viewpoint. It's just when you
- 33:55Speaker 1: tell a liberal that they can't think liberal because you
- 33:58Speaker 1: think conservative. That's why I have a problem. And you know,
- 34:02Speaker 1: just because you're saying and see, here's the thing about
- 34:05Speaker 1: conservatives that sickened me about the party. The things that
- 34:09Speaker 1: they fight against immigration, we gotta stop immigration. All of
- 34:14Speaker 1: them have illegal people working for them. All of them
- 34:18Speaker 1: have companies that hire illegal people to save money, all
- 34:21Speaker 1: of them. All of them. We are against welfare. There's
- 34:28Speaker 1: more white people on welfare and black people. That's a fact.
- 34:34Speaker 1: We are against gays rights and marriage. You're trying to
- 34:39Speaker 1: tell me that there are no conservative gays. That's what
- 34:43Speaker 1: that's what you want me to believe. That's what we're doing.
- 34:47Speaker 1: So see the hypocrisy of a lot of what they're saying.
- 34:52Speaker 1: It's it's troubling because they do it just to create
- 34:56Speaker 1: this mask to hide the other agendas that they uh
- 35:01Speaker 1: taxes and all this other stuff. It's all comes down
- 35:05Speaker 1: the money and the money they get from the n I.
- 35:07Speaker 1: It comes back down to that money than jentimen. She's here,
- 35:11Speaker 1: our very own talented, our news anchor person that brings
- 35:15Speaker 1: us the daylight of day. Thankies and gentlemen, please, thank
- 35:24Speaker 1: you very much, everybody. This is answered with the news.
- 35:26Speaker 1: All right, let's get it started. President Trump's pick for
- 35:28Speaker 1: the drugs are for this country is the very legislator
- 35:31Speaker 1: who made it harder for the fest to stop the
- 35:33Speaker 1: flood of addictive opioids into communities all over the country.
- 35:36Speaker 1: According to reports by both The Washington Post and Sixty
- 35:38Speaker 1: Minutes of bill sponsorble last year by GOP Congressman Tom
- 35:42Speaker 1: Marino of Pennsylvania and supported by the pharmaceutical industry, of course,
- 35:46Speaker 1: helped drug companies pump even more pain killers into parts
- 35:49Speaker 1: of the country that were already in the middle of
- 35:51Speaker 1: the opioid crisis. The President was asked about his choice yesterday,
- 35:54Speaker 1: as far as Tom Marino, so he was a very
- 35:57Speaker 1: early supporter of mine, the great state of Pennsylvan and
- 36:00Speaker 1: he's a great guy. I did see the report. We're
- 36:03Speaker 1: gonna look into the report. We're gonna take it very seriously. Meanwhile,
- 36:05Speaker 1: the New York Post quote one critic form of Drug
- 36:07Speaker 1: Enforcement Administration official of Joseph Ronazizi as saying that the
- 36:11Speaker 1: drug industry, wholesale is, distributis and chain drug stores have
- 36:15Speaker 1: an influence of a Congress that has never been seen before. Meanwhile,
- 36:19Speaker 1: the President went from tweeting on flattering things about GOP
- 36:22Speaker 1: Senate leader Mitch McConnell to standing next to him and
- 36:24Speaker 1: claiming that their relationship is great. Relationship with this gentleman
- 36:29Speaker 1: is outstanding, has been outstanding. And while Trump acknowledge that
- 36:33Speaker 1: the Senate has so far failed to advance his agenda,
- 36:36Speaker 1: he told reporters that he wants to convince former White
- 36:38Speaker 1: House aide Steve Bannon to end his attacks against members
- 36:41Speaker 1: of the Republican stabustion because, as he puts it, some
- 36:44Speaker 1: GOP senators are great people. Well night, years after leaving
- 36:48Speaker 1: his post in Afghanistan being captured by the Taliban and
- 36:50Speaker 1: three and a half years after being freed in exchanged
- 36:52Speaker 1: with five Taliban fighters. Army Sergeant bro Bro bo Bergdahl
- 36:56Speaker 1: played guilty yesterday the charge his desertion and misbehavior before
- 36:59Speaker 1: the enemy. Harvey Weinstein's brother says that their movie companies
- 37:03Speaker 1: just received an infusion of cash from a private equity firm.
- 37:06Speaker 1: That they're also in negotiations for the potential sale of
- 37:09Speaker 1: either all or a significant part of the wine Stein studio.
- 37:12Speaker 1: NFL owners meeting in New York City today to discuss
- 37:16Speaker 1: the whole taking a knee situation. They no doubt be
- 37:18Speaker 1: discussing the league's policy that currently suggests, but doesn't mandate,
- 37:21Speaker 1: that players stand for the national anthem. A group of
- 37:24Speaker 1: players is invited, but it doesn't include the man that
- 37:26Speaker 1: shoulding vote include Colin Kaepernick. That's the man that should
- 37:29Speaker 1: be meeting with. Finally, today's National Black Poetry Day and
- 37:32Speaker 1: National Pasta Day. That's right, because you can't have it
- 37:37Speaker 1: without meat Ball. Stay tuned to the Steve Harvey Warning Show.
- 37:40Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Show. All right. Steve

- 38:26Speaker 1: The Cleopatra flip flop is gonna be um. It's the
- 38:30Speaker 1: men's Cleopatra flip flop. You're gonna love with Junior. Anyway,
- 38:35Speaker 1: it's it's it's a flip flop with the ribbons and
- 38:37Speaker 1: it's the ribbons wrap around your your ankle. Yeah yeah,
- 38:45Speaker 1: I called of the clear Cleopatra flip flop. It's not
- 38:48Speaker 1: non glad, that's the Cleopatric flip flop. But anyway, they
- 38:51Speaker 1: have studs on the ribbons. They have it's a slide here, yeah,

- 39:04Speaker 1: I would like for us. This is gonna help me
- 39:06Speaker 1: in sale, definitely. Steve was a thirteen, so I've got
- 39:11Speaker 1: something made just for him, and he could put his
- 39:14Speaker 1: foot in there and wrap the ribbons up around. It's
- 39:16Speaker 1: gonna be very very nice. You're gonna love it. It's
- 39:18Speaker 1: this real manly. Does this look manly when you have these?
- 39:21Speaker 1: But and you know Steven, Steve keeps his toes downe,
- 39:25Speaker 1: so his foot is gonna look good. He's gonna really
- 39:29Speaker 1: like it. Junior always gets manicures and pedicures, so Junior's
- 39:32Speaker 1: gonna love it too. Now, Ja, you seem to have
- 39:35Speaker 1: an ashet type of foot. I noticed that. I noticed
- 39:41Speaker 1: you scratch. You scratch your ankles. I don't need mine
- 39:44Speaker 1: with a toe in it. OK, So we're gonna have
- 39:47Speaker 1: to all your feet before you put on the cliff.
- 39:50Speaker 1: You're gonna have to do this. But nevertheless, this is

- 43:39Speaker 1: grand day. There's so many people that came in there,
- 43:43Speaker 1: people that went to work and got off working. This
- 43:47Speaker 1: you're talking about out and quit because you know, I'm
- 43:50Speaker 1: trying to find myself at the Starbucks. Don't let me
- 43:56Speaker 1: get something. When you use the phrase, see, I don't
- 43:58Speaker 1: go over there money because they tripping over there, tripping.
- 44:02Speaker 1: You know, they're tripping. They tripping over there, and they
- 44:07Speaker 1: tripped on me, and then I'm tripped on the wrong person.
- 44:13Speaker 1: They fired you. I'll tell you what. When you're walking
- 44:16Speaker 1: the barbershop on a Wednesday, and see Curtis in there
- 44:19Speaker 1: with a flip flops. You got flip flops on it
- 44:23Speaker 1: on a windy dog. Dog? Why you ain't that work curtain?

- 45:35Speaker 1: You ain't down? You got fired? Oh manth we know
- 45:47Speaker 1: big cardboard box on your desk. This is for you
- 45:52Speaker 1: to pack up when you get out of here. Yes,
- 45:57Speaker 1: thank you guys, Ya welcome coming up, nephew, tell me
- 45:59Speaker 1: he's praying phone call. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 46:04Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, right about
- 46:06Speaker 1: four minutes after today's Strawberry letter. But first, come on
- 46:10Speaker 1: with your prank phone call corporal punishment. What Yeah, we're
- 46:16Speaker 1: trying to whoop these kids behind in school. Okay, it's time,
- 46:21Speaker 1: it's time, it's time to take to do it again.
- 46:23Speaker 1: Let's just whooping name behind school. You would get some
- 46:31Speaker 1: act right on you. That's what hoping up act Right here?
- 46:37Speaker 1: It is Hello, Hello him, um, trying to reach the
- 46:43Speaker 1: Mr Cotton, Ms Gutkay, can you turn your radio or
- 46:48Speaker 1: TV down? I can't really hear you. UM. My name
- 46:52Speaker 1: is Mr Lanson. I'm actually the new principal here at
- 46:55Speaker 1: middle school. And what's the name again, Mr Lanson? Mr Lanson? Okay,
- 47:00Speaker 1: your your son? He attends middle school here? Am I correct? Okay?
- 47:04Speaker 1: Good listen, UM, I'm the new principle here. We've just
- 47:08Speaker 1: replaced the last principle and I'm actually calling around. What
- 47:12Speaker 1: I've done is when I before I got here, I
- 47:14Speaker 1: asked for a list of students that were you know,
- 47:17Speaker 1: I'm not gonna say problem with kids, but you know
- 47:20Speaker 1: that kind of get themselves in a little trouble here
- 47:22Speaker 1: and there. And your son's name happens to be on
- 47:24Speaker 1: the list. Yes, I got about I got about thirty
- 47:30Speaker 1: five kids that are actually on this list, and your
- 47:33Speaker 1: son is actually on the list. And you are Mr Cotton, correct,
- 47:37Speaker 1: I am Mr Cotton. I mean are we are you
- 47:39Speaker 1: show you speaking about my son though, um, yeah, I
- 47:42Speaker 1: mean there's only there's only one on the list, sir,
- 47:45Speaker 1: I'm it's it's it's what's been given to me. And
- 47:48Speaker 1: what what I'm doing is calling around to all of
- 47:50Speaker 1: the parents of the kids that are on this list
- 47:54Speaker 1: and letting you guys know that I'm gonna be keeping
- 47:56Speaker 1: a close eye on them as well as uh, letting
- 47:59Speaker 1: you know that I'm gonna be reinstating corporal punishment here
- 48:02Speaker 1: in the school. So so what's that. That's actually where
- 48:07Speaker 1: if your son gets sent to the office, which is
- 48:09Speaker 1: my office, then there will be paddling going on. And
- 48:12Speaker 1: opposed to I don't believe in I don't believe in detention.
- 48:15Speaker 1: I don't believe in suspension. I believe in, you know,
- 48:18Speaker 1: if we spank these kids, we can get them back
- 48:20Speaker 1: in order. So, sir, here's my thing. I really truly
- 48:25Speaker 1: believe that we get back to to you know, and
- 48:28Speaker 1: I don't mean, what I'm about to say to be harsh,
- 48:30Speaker 1: but if we're getting back to beating, we'll get these
- 48:32Speaker 1: kids back in order. I mean, but I know he
- 48:35Speaker 1: had trouble in English, but I don't think that. No, no, no,
- 48:41Speaker 1: this has nothing to do with great, sir. This has
- 48:43Speaker 1: to do with punishment. And what I'm understanding is if
- 48:45Speaker 1: your son is on my list, and if your son
- 48:48Speaker 1: comes down to my office, I'm going to take care
- 48:50Speaker 1: of it right then and there. If my son come
- 48:52Speaker 1: to your offer, you're gonna be on my list. It's sir,
- 48:56Speaker 1: I'm trying to get these kids back in order, and
- 48:58Speaker 1: that's the reason why I've been brought in and I've
- 49:00Speaker 1: replaced the last principle you understand. So what I need
- 49:03Speaker 1: from you is to get a get a great understanding
- 49:05Speaker 1: that if your child comes to my office, corporal punishment
- 49:08Speaker 1: will be what he's going to deal with. Okay, I'll
- 49:11Speaker 1: tell you what. Let my son come home and tell
- 49:14Speaker 1: me he got some corporal punishment, and the next morning
- 49:16Speaker 1: me and You're gonna do some corporal punishment. Sir, Do
- 49:19Speaker 1: you want your child in order or do you want
- 49:21Speaker 1: to be bill in his butt out of jail at
- 49:22Speaker 1: the age of eight, gonna be biling me out of
- 49:24Speaker 1: jail if you put your hands on my son. Okay,
- 49:28Speaker 1: are you taking care of your son punishment wise at home?
- 49:31Speaker 1: You need my son, don't get trouble. Okay, here's the problem.
- 49:38Speaker 1: Parents not believing that their children get in any trouble.
- 49:42Speaker 1: That's the first proble. I got email, I got phone called.
- 49:46Speaker 1: So the first phone call, I get this going straight.
- 49:49Speaker 1: It ain't no let us at home, ain't no email
- 49:51Speaker 1: s at home saying day it's a problem. I don't,
- 49:53Speaker 1: I don't. I don't, sir. I you know I'm gonna
- 49:56Speaker 1: come down here. I'm gonna tell you once again, I
- 49:59Speaker 1: am going to have send your son to detention. I'm
- 50:03Speaker 1: not gonna call you. I'm gonna take care of my job.
- 50:06Speaker 1: My job is to make sure I'm gonna take care
- 50:08Speaker 1: of mine when you take care of your, I'm gonna
- 50:10Speaker 1: take care of mine. And that's protect my son. And
- 50:12Speaker 1: you put your hands on him, and we got a problem.
- 50:15Speaker 1: We're gonna have a problem because nine times I'm telling you.
- 50:18Speaker 1: Right now I'm calling you and giving you the warning.
- 50:20Speaker 1: Your son will be dealt with, and you're gonna be
- 50:22Speaker 1: dealt with. We'll be dealt with on a regular basis.
- 50:25Speaker 1: If needs to be, You're gonna get there with a
- 50:27Speaker 1: regular but you're gonna get tired of seeing me. Okay, sir,
- 50:30Speaker 1: do I need to actually have corporal punishment with you?
- 50:33Speaker 1: I'll tell you what when you do. When you bring
- 50:35Speaker 1: the corporal punishment to me, you better had the police
- 50:38Speaker 1: there because they're gonna need corporal punishment. They're gonna need
- 50:41Speaker 1: whatever hell they're gonna need to to you. When I
- 50:43Speaker 1: get down and you put your hands on my son,
- 50:45Speaker 1: I know that all I'm you know what, maybe maybe
- 50:48Speaker 1: maybe the swooping needs to start with you. It has
- 50:52Speaker 1: a matter of fact. What time do you go to lunch?
- 50:54Speaker 1: We can do this in front of capital and let
- 50:57Speaker 1: all the kids see the principle corporal punishment. Sir sir,
- 51:01Speaker 1: I'm not, I'm not. I don't. I don't fear you
- 51:04Speaker 1: personal because I want you to stand in and take
- 51:07Speaker 1: your like man. I don't want to chase your like.
- 51:10Speaker 1: No little school, sir, Sir sir. The bottom line is
- 51:13Speaker 1: corporal punishment is being in stated. Your son is gonna
- 51:16Speaker 1: by by. You're gonna have to accept it, or maybe
- 51:19Speaker 1: maybe you need to tell you what you said, you
- 51:20Speaker 1: got thirty five names on your list, it better be
- 51:22Speaker 1: thirty cut man. But not being on the corporal punishment list,
- 51:26Speaker 1: I know that, sir. Listen, he's not on a corporal
- 51:29Speaker 1: punishment list. He's on a list of kids of kids
- 51:32Speaker 1: that act up from time to time. Don't act up.
- 51:35Speaker 1: My son is a model stude. He had a little
- 51:38Speaker 1: trouble with English, you know, because his mom a little slow.
- 51:41Speaker 1: But that's my I did that. You know what I'm saying.
- 51:43Speaker 1: You know what, Sometimes I feel like I'm talking to
- 51:45Speaker 1: the child right now, you're talking to a grown man.
- 51:49Speaker 1: And if you put your hands on my son, you're
- 51:50Speaker 1: gonna see that I'm a grown man when I come down. Man, okay,
- 51:54Speaker 1: I put my hands on my then I guess it's
- 51:57Speaker 1: gonna be a lot of kicking circuit. It's gonna be
- 51:59Speaker 1: something kicking and you line them up a system principle.
- 52:05Speaker 1: Come man, if she got something to say, you're gonna
- 52:07Speaker 1: watch your tone. You understand me, and you're gonna you're
- 52:10Speaker 1: gonna take what I'm telling you. Man, I don't care
- 52:14Speaker 1: what you're saying. Everybody's gonna bide. I put chains on
- 52:17Speaker 1: the door. I make sure I'm Mr. Lanson and these
- 52:25Speaker 1: kids are gonna bide by what I want, and so
- 52:27Speaker 1: are the parents, and you, Mr Cotton, you're gonna have
- 52:30Speaker 1: to toughen up and let me do my job. I'll
- 52:33Speaker 1: tell you what. Then, you're gonna do what you got
- 52:34Speaker 1: to do today. But when I get down there, better
- 52:37Speaker 1: had a police. When I get there, I tell you
- 52:39Speaker 1: who else I'm gonna have here. If you do that,
- 52:42Speaker 1: I'm gonna have nephew timming from the Steve Harvey Morning Show,
- 52:46Speaker 1: because that's who I am. Your co workers, Silver, You've
- 52:50Speaker 1: got me to pray, phone call you. I'm gonna tell
- 52:57Speaker 1: you what. I'm gonna break, like, get laid on that
- 53:03Speaker 1: down at the job kids. Man, I'm looking for my talk. Hey, listen,
- 53:19Speaker 1: I got one more thing to ask you. Mr. What's
- 53:22Speaker 1: that man? What's the baddest radio show in the lane? Man?
- 53:25Speaker 1: They do y'all think they should put the whoopings back
- 53:31Speaker 1: in the school what y'all? Yeah? I do? Definitely, Yeah.
- 53:33Speaker 1: Don't you don't know they can't because well, you took
- 53:37Speaker 1: proud of schools and NaN's backwards. You take pay out
- 53:41Speaker 1: of schools. You can't whoop kids. I't bring them both back.
- 53:44Speaker 1: So we bring the proud back. We can bring the
- 53:46Speaker 1: whooping back. Well, no, you still can't ever bring back
- 53:49Speaker 1: the whipping. It's just too far gone political correctness. Want
- 53:53Speaker 1: to I used to get swats in school. Yeah. I
- 53:57Speaker 1: don't like people whooping kids and they ain't got kids.
- 54:01Speaker 1: The teachers nowadays, anyone doing that difference, be quiet, Tommy.
- 54:07Speaker 1: I heard you Green. I'm with you on that. I
- 54:11Speaker 1: saw some teachers I was in love with. You didn't
- 54:15Speaker 1: have a teacher had a crush on you know who was?
- 54:18Speaker 1: It was the gym teacher, the male gym teacher. Yeah,
- 54:29Speaker 1: because the female gym t Well call you. You had
- 54:39Speaker 1: a prank on the teacher. Have you had crush on
- 54:42Speaker 1: the teacher? Prank on a teacher on the teacher? Crush
- 54:46Speaker 1: on the teacher? Yeah? He was the vice principal. Oh
- 54:50Speaker 1: you big, big chill. I wanted to management. She was.
- 55:00Speaker 1: I didn't go to wear from May she was it?
- 55:06Speaker 1: All right, you gotta go. Coming up next, Today's Strawberry Letter,
- 55:11Speaker 1: Plus Roger Goodell's wife is a ride or died chick. Wow,
- 55:16Speaker 1: wait till you hear this. You're listening to the Steve
- 55:19Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Today's Strawberry Letter is up next in
- 55:23Speaker 1: It's a good one. But first let's talk about ride
- 55:26Speaker 1: or Died Chicks. Okay. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell's wife, Jane
- 55:31Speaker 1: Skinner Goodell her sketchy fake Twitter account has been exposed.
- 55:36Speaker 1: The Wall Street Journal reports that Jane Skinner Goodell was
- 55:39Speaker 1: defending her husband from criticism over his actions as NFL
- 55:43Speaker 1: commissioner via an anonymous Twitter account, and Mrs Goodell has
- 55:47Speaker 1: admitted to doing it. It was a really yeah, she's
- 55:51Speaker 1: admitted it. Okay, she admitted it. Yes, fake, and I
- 55:55Speaker 1: admit that is fake. Alright. It was a really silly
- 55:59Speaker 1: thing to do, and done out of frustration and love,
- 56:02Speaker 1: she said. Mrs Goodell said to The Wall Street Journal
- 56:05Speaker 1: in a written statement, that's what she wrote, okay. Not surprisingly, though,
- 56:09Speaker 1: Commissioner Goodell was said to be unaware of the account.
- 56:12Speaker 1: What is he aware of? Okay? Well, at least she
- 56:18Speaker 1: fools someone. No. I think I think that's really slick though,
- 56:22Speaker 1: to me to do I think it's really slick. Yeah, man,
- 56:25Speaker 1: you know she trying to defend her man, Yeah, you know,
- 56:28Speaker 1: I wish man, I thought about doing it to defend
- 56:31Speaker 1: my damn talking about doing it out of frustration and
- 56:36Speaker 1: love right after the page and huh account man as
- 56:42Speaker 1: a dude on the internet, all for you, Steve is me.
- 56:47Speaker 1: That'll be a great idea. No, you know, because you
- 56:52Speaker 1: know I'll tell you what I'm gonna do though, when
- 56:54Speaker 1: I retire. When I get ready retired, I'm going on
- 56:58Speaker 1: social media for two days straight, I think three three
- 57:03Speaker 1: days straight. I'm gonna just take the last three days
- 57:05Speaker 1: off and I'm gonna just sit there and respond. Really, yeah,
- 57:11Speaker 1: for three straight days. You would take time out of
- 57:14Speaker 1: your life to do that. Oh yeah, yeah, Yeah, It's
- 57:17Speaker 1: gonna be so therapeutic for me. I'm gonna say whatever
- 57:20Speaker 1: the hell I've been wanting to say, and then I'm
- 57:22Speaker 1: gonna just check out. But Steve, you always say whatever
- 57:25Speaker 1: you want to say. Nah, not like this though. No,
- 57:31Speaker 1: I'm talking about I'm glad that some haters, people that
- 57:34Speaker 1: ain't ever met me, that's been talking about me. Oh,
- 57:37Speaker 1: I got some stuff I want to say to him.
- 57:39Speaker 1: And this won't be a fake account. This would be
- 57:42Speaker 1: my account, and I'm closing it after the third day.
- 57:47Speaker 1: Oh you're going in, uh, your nephew encouraging you. Yeah, man,
- 57:55Speaker 1: I'm gonna do it. Opening line let me on the air. Really,
- 58:01Speaker 1: but I can get good temperate, Yeah, okay, let me
- 58:03Speaker 1: see how I can open it. Yeah, all you blanket
- 58:10Speaker 1: and quiet, nephew, I don't encourage him. Yeah, it's got
- 58:15Speaker 1: on in Houston. Please stay too. But they need to
- 58:20Speaker 1: know though, that they're going to find out. They're going
- 58:23Speaker 1: to find out. Okay, this how I'm gonna open it.
- 58:26Speaker 1: The last three days on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, snap Chat
- 58:32Speaker 1: and anything else they social media. The last word is
- 58:37Speaker 1: gonna be now you know, okay, now, okay, but I'm
- 58:43Speaker 1: gonna open it with sugar honey. The last word now
- 58:58Speaker 1: all in between we can't say on it also of
- 59:06Speaker 1: afternon for Steve Harvey is talking. All right, Come on, nephew,
- 59:11Speaker 1: let's get to this letter. Let's bugle love a whole
- 59:13Speaker 1: long time. We got it for you. It is the
- 59:16Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter. Thank you, Tommy. Subject longing for my mother.
- 59:20Speaker 1: Good morning, Steve Shirley, Tommy, Carla. I'm a twenty year
- 59:25Speaker 1: old student in Greensboro, North Carolina. I'm twelve weeks pregnant
- 59:29Speaker 1: and I'm really feeling lonely at this time. When I
- 59:32Speaker 1: found out I was pregnant and told the father of
- 59:34Speaker 1: the child. He informed me that he wanted nothing to
- 59:38Speaker 1: do with this baby. I was hurt and still hurting
- 59:42Speaker 1: because I thought I was the only one in his
- 59:44Speaker 1: life at the time, and come to find out, as
- 59:47Speaker 1: Boomerang would say, I was his option. That's not even
- 59:51Speaker 1: my biggest concern. I never had a good relationship with
- 59:54Speaker 1: my mother, and as a child, always wanted her and
- 59:58Speaker 1: my father. My mother was u and I understand that
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: she made some mistakes, but I took this time to
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: try and reach out to her. When I told her
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: I was pregnant, she called me a few weeks later
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: and said that I should get an abortion because why
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: do I want to have a baby by someone who
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: doesn't even like me. I continue to try to talk
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: to her and reach out to her because I need
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: her support, not financially but emotionally. Last night was the
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: final straw. I called her just to tell her how
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: I was doing, and she did it again. She threw
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: in my face how ignorant I have been and how
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: I am throwing my life away. Stephen Shirley, I'm not
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: a bad child. I have attended church and I'm trying
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: to live the life, live life the Christian way, But
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: I've made a few mistakes. I'm in school full time
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: and work full time, and all I really want is
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: my mother. I didn't have her growing up, but I
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: really want her now. My question is how can I
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: reach out to my mother and get her to just
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: to talk to me without being negative to me? Or
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: should I just give up and realize that I have
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: to do this pregnancy alone. Longing for my mother? Yeah
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: that that this isn't really sad, Yeah, this is really
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: um dear longing from my mother. I mean, um, I'm
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: not going to beat you up or judge you or
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: anything like that, because from the tone of your letter,
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: it does sound like you understand and you've accepted your choices.
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: You know, I believe you when you say that you're
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: trying to live right as a Christian and you've made
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: a few mistakes. And and to that, I say, who
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: hasn't you know? You're human. We all make mistakes, we
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: all fall short. Sometimes. What I will do is try
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: to explain to you maybe what your mom is going through.
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: You said she got pregnant young, and she's probably when
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: she sees you pregnant, thinking about how it was when
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: she was pregnant and young. And she had a hard time.
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: It sounds like, um, you know, maybe nobody showed her
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: love during that time. Maybe the same thing happened to her.
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: And as your daughter, she doesn't want you to go
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: through the same thing she went through, so in her
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: own way, she's looking out for you, even though you
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: may not see it that way. But then again, some
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: people don't know how to show love. So, um, you know,
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: I know you want the love of your mom right now,
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: but maybe, you know, try reaching out to someone else
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: in your family, like your grandmother or maybe an aunt
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: or or an older woman you know that can help
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: you through this time, because, um, it may take quite
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: a while for your mother to come around. It may
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: take it, you know, up until the time you have
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: your own baby. If then, but reach out to someone else,
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: maybe an older person, like I say, in your family
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: that can help you through this so you won't have
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: to go through it alone. If you are a member
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: of a church or something like that, you know, uh,
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: there are people in there that can help you through this.
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: So you know, this is a tough situation that you're in,
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: but you can make it through. Many have and I
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: just want to encourage you. Steve we'll be back with
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: his answer. Of course, I know this is a tough
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: one you're listening to. All right, Come on, Steve with
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: part two of your response to today's Strawberry letter Longing
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: for My Mother. Good morning, Shirley, Steve tell me. I'm
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: a twenty year old student in Greensboro, North Carolina. I'm
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: twelve weeks pregnant. I'm really feeling lonely at this time.
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: When I found out I was pregnant and told the
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: father of the child, he informed me that he wanted
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: nothing to do with this baby. I was hurting, still
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: hurting because I thought I was the only one in
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: his life at the time, and come to find out,
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: as Boomerang would say, I was his option. That's not
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: even my biggest concern. I never had a good relationship
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: with my mother, and as a child, always wanted her
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: and my father. My mother was young, and I understand
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: that she made some mistakes, but I took this time
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: to try to reach out to her. When I told
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: I was pregnant. She called me a few weeks later
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: and said that I should get an abortion, because why
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: do I want to have a baby by someone who
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: doesn't even like me. I continued to try to talk
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: to her and reach out to her, but because I
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: need her support, not financially but emotionally. Last night was
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: a final straw. I called her just to tell her
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: how I was doing it. She did it again. She
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: threw in my face how ignorant I've been and how
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: I'm throwing my life away. Stephen Shirley, I'm not a
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: bad child. I have I attend church and I'm trying
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: to live life to Christian way. But I made a
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: few mistakes. I'm in school full time and work full time,
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: and all I really want is my mother. I didn't
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: have her growing up, but I really want her now.
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: My question is how can I reach out to my
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: mother and get her to just talk to me without
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: being negative to me? Or should I just give up
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: and realized that I have to do this pregnancy a
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: long longing for my mother. Uh, young lady, I only
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: answer I have for you is proud. I really don't
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: know what else to say, because I don't know how
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: to make a parent be a parent. Uh. If you've
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: never had a while you were growing up, but you're
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: reaching out to it, this could be an opportunity. Um,
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: But it looks like it's gonna take a little bit
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: more effort on your part to get her to understand. Uh.
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: I think you should stop talking to her over the phone, though.
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: I think this has to be a face to face.
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: Women have a very different relationship than boys and fathers,
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: very very different. Uh. It's hard for me to explain it,
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: but it's it's just very very different. And you all
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: say things to your mothers that we could never say
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: to our fathers on and vice versa. But I really
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: don't know how to guide you on this, and except
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: to say you have to pray about it, but I
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: do think that you need a face to face with
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: your mom um. And this is an opportunity for your
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: mother to take to stop a cycle of pain that's
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: been happening. Like Shirley said, it could be because she
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: had you at a young age. She know how devastating
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: it was in her life and the misery that has
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: called her because obviously you all weren't close, she doesn't
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: want you to go through the same thing, but she's
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: going about it obviously the wrong way of trying to
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: get you to understand that. That's why I think a
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: face to face is necessary. Exidered down and explained to
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: her that you've always wanted her and that you need
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: her now, you need her understanding, her support. Uh, that's
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: everybody needs that in their life. You know different, So
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: um pray about it. Surely made the best suggestions. Surely
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: can answer this letter far better than I can. I'm
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: just gonna be real with you. As far as the
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: boy goes, this is the only part that I know
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: anything about. As far as the boy goes, the little
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: trifling dog dude that you know who you told you
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: want to pregnant, he informed you that he wanted nothing
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: to do with this baby. Well, that statement can easily
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: be made. But if you're having this baby, he will
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: have something to do with the baby, whether he wants
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: to or not. They're gonna attach this child support to
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: him once it's proven. And then guess what he gonna
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: have to send this check? Regardless, he better not get
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: a job nowhere. See, that's the sad part of it,
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: all these guys that we make these that women make
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: these mistakes with without knowing anything about the true character
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: of a person. I was strongly suggest to young girls
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: before you lay down with a boy. And I do
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: call them boys because that's just what he's acting like.
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: Right now, before you lay down with this boy, make
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: sure that you know exactly who he is. And the
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: only way to know a person that you've got to
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: go through some things with him. And if you ever
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: been with him long enough to go through any ups
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: and especially the downs. Uh see, it's it's it's how
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: a person reacts in difficult times that shows you the
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: true character and measure of a man. It is not
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: in moments of comfort and convenience, but only in moments
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: of turmoil and strife can you know the true measure
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: of men. Then, and only then can you know if
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: you have a man or not. It is when things
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: have gone wrong, not when it's gone right. Now, something
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: it's going wrong. And now you found out this is
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: a boy. But please do if you decide to have
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: a please uh take him to court, swing him in,
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: get him some DNA done. It proves out that he's
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: the father. Whenever he does get out of that college
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: and gets a job. And no matter how long it
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: takes him to get a job, you can get your
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: money retroactive. But you're not doing this for money though,
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: And your problem isn't the boy right now, Your problem
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: is your mother. So I didn't just gave you maybe
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: a lesson too late, But you're gonna meet another boy
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: after this one and next time. You have to take
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: all these experiences what you call the mistakes, keep living
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: a Christian life and just know that you'll be fine.
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: Everybody makes mistakes. You're not the first person. You're not
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: the only single mother out there. Uh. You will make
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: it and God will help you make it. And the
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: kid that you're gonna have that it looks like you're
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: gonna have it could be the next great person you
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: don't know, and it could be just your calling to
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: birth this person into this world. Steve, you know, we
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: gotta get out of here. Email us or instagram us

- 1:09:40Speaker 1: When a man says to a woman, let's be friends. Now,
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: when a man says it to a woman, because women
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: say it to man a lot. But when a man
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: says it to a woman, what does that mean? What?
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: What does he really? He will sleep with you, but
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: expect nothing else. I'm old boy, come on here, but
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: I will keep with you today, but don't expect anything else,
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: because I don't want anything else from you. Okay. Now,
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: when a woman says it to a man, let's be friends,
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: that means I'm not sleeping with you, quitter asking me please,
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: don't make me hurt you? Really, you're listening to Steve
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: Harvey Morning show. Jay is here with another one of
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: his crazy segments. This one's called mean things you can
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: say to kids. You nobody fit to do that. I

- 1:10:58Speaker 1: with just you let me on this. I'm which these
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: are mean things. He's not hurtful things. I would never
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: hurt a child. I don't think about saying me. It's
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: just just I'm not going to just cause physical harm
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: to the little person. Just tough love. But if you
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: do some of these things, just just to see that
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: look on their face, especially if they're really small, act
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: like they're invisible and you can't see him. You go
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: the way I go. Hear me. Look, hey, hey, Billy,

- 1:13:31Speaker 1: Don't want to eat. I'll tell you what I've done this.
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: Tell a kid go hide in the cloth and when

- 1:15:53Speaker 1: if I'll tell you what, Jake, if you got a

- 1:21:11Speaker 1: to hear. Come on, Steve, the real what's what's wrong
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: with them? It's nothing wrong, It's just Jay don't like
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: it when it gets rough. That knows, the courtship, the newness.
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: But when it turns into the work pot. You can't
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: disappoint him. But a couple of times about your vows
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: Jack until death do us part? That it's a hard
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: one and that's vowels crazy. So your original question, Shirley
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: was was there something we had to cut out our wedding? Yeah?
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: Budget wise? Well yeah, I mean this is for us.
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: Obviously Steve didn't have to do that, but we'll ask
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: him anyway, just for giggles and kicks, and yeah, anything
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: you had to cut out of your wedding, Steve budget
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: wise added, yeah, you're talking about it in my former Yeah, yeah,
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: and yeah and any well in this one, let's just
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: say that in this one, Okay, you asked me the
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: question your most recently. Was there anything you had to
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: cut out because you couldn't afford it? Let's just say
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: that him. I told just for giggles, kiggles kicks and giggles,
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: Mr kiggles Kicks. Now we paid everything that would you
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: have wanted anything more or do it differently or anything
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: like that? That's perfect good small intimate out of the country,
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: I mean out of town. You know, we so could
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: nobody flying We just man, we heard you all over here.
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: Yeah none of that. Alright, nephew, what about you? I
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: was good. I did everything she wanted. I did everything.
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: I ain't missing nothing. I will tell the truth that
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: I got a vest made that didn't fit me. All
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: my grooms and right, we all looked like we had
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: on some little boys best la. It was true. The
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: worst thing in the world them. We couldn't even win.
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: What Steve? What you saying? He did have one little
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: boy did not? Still too small? Dang, I told you
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: to just get it with the size and not with
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: the tea in front of them. So, Steve, let me
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: ask you this way, if there is anything you could
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: do differently when it comes to your wedding, what would
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: that have been? Be quiet? All right, more of this
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: crazy show? After this jam? Silence. You're listening to the
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. The Boy Scouts of America. I
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: don't know if you guys heard about this last week
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: the girls uh says girls will soon be allowed to
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: become Cub Scouts and to earn the coveted rank of
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: Eagle Scout, the organization's highest honor. Uh. So what does
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: this mean? Starting next year, young girls will be able
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: to join Cub Scout units known as Den's No dent, will, however,
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: remain single gender, all boys or all girls. I didn't
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: quite get this. Quite frankly, they did because they have
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: girl Scouts. I really didn't understand at all. I didn't
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: get it. You had jeans and me I take a
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: child down. Men know you're not gonna get me all
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: this stuff, sprang a shirt home and throw it at man.
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: I'm getting the shirt, I got the belt, I had
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: to have a little sash around your neck stops, I
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: got huge, got the little whistle the way you know
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: that you ain't joining the service, guer going in army
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: just the shirt. You know how embarrassed they clowned. You
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: know everybody that the little outfits on out there with
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: just the damn shirt and not jeans cut off because
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: the boy scouts worth shorts and needs the same genes.
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: I had to go swimming here. I'm sorry you had
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: a good boy. Oh so where were you saying, Steve?
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: You didn't understand it? No, I don't don't get it.
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: I don't know why we have to have girls in
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: the Cub Scouts when they have girl scouts. Are there
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: any boys that's gonna get to sign up to be girls?
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: I don't understand. I mean, you know we're going too
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: far now. You got girls scouts, you got cub Scouts,
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: that's what it is. I mean, I don't get it.
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: What's wrong with that? Yeah? I don't understand this at all.
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: I'm not sending my little girl down there to being
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: no damn boy Scouts. I can promise you that, Well,
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: the Girl Scouts aren't happy about this, and they do
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: see it as a move to try to make money.
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: The need for female leadership, they say, has never been
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: clearer or more urgent than it is today, and only
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: Girl Scouts has the expertise to give girls and young
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: women the tools they need for success. That's what the
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: organization said in a statement. So I think it has
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: a lot to do Steve with Trump going to the
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: Boy Scouts and just insulting the Boy Scouts, and this
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: might be a way to kind of bring everybody together,
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: maybe allowing the girls to be in it. Because man,
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: the Girl Scouts are absolutely correct. It takes women to
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: raise girls into women. There's too much that men don't
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: know about being a woman. It's just too much. But
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: who wants to put their little girl down there with
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: all them damn boys. Got kidding? My little girl ain't
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: going camping with no damn body. Yeah, I mean, I
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: was a Scout and it was a wonderful experience. You know,
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: I'll never forget it that it taught me how to
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: do community service, give back. We sold cookies, we made friends,
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: we camp and singing songs it was. It was st
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: least I'd have had a dress. I wish I had brown,
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: a dress color. I don't want to think about all right.
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: Coming up next, the n r A opposes the bump
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: stock bill. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: Welcome to our affiliate and new family member, Houston. Alright,
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: one oh four or five Kiss FM, straight out of Houston. Yeah, alright, Steve,
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: here we go. The n r A opposes the bump
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: stock bill. While the n r A may have indicated
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: they were interested in an immediate review of federal regulations
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: on bump stocks, the device which allows semi automatic rifles
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: to function like fully automatic weapons, they are apparently not
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: for congressional legislation that would ban their production. Following this
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: month's devastating shooting in Las Vegas at a country music festival,
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: UH in which the shooter used bump stocks that allowed
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: him to kill fifty eight people and hurt over five
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: hundred others. I mean, you know, God, what a horrible,
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: horrible here's a deal. The n I, which is the
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: largest contributor to politics, you know, one of the largest
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: contributors to politics. They controlled the Republican Party with the
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: Second Amendment and contributions to the Republican campaign. So when
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: the massacre, the dreadful massacre in all Las Vegas first occurred,
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: they came up and said, well, there wasn't really a
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: similar automatic had a bump on it, and we're in
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: support of banning these types of things. Well, because they were,
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: everybody was on TV with it. Well, now the coverage
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: of the massacre has died down and they write back
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: to business as usual there against banning the sale and
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: manufacturing of the bump stock which the guy used to
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: kill all those innocent people in Las Vegas. So, I mean,
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: like I told you, as soon as it's over, they're
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: going to they're going to go back to what they
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: do because nothing matters more to them than money. Nobody's
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: life is more important than the money they can make.
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: Nobody they ain't raised either, it's just dollars. But when
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: is it enough? Though, I don't know, is it how
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: many victims? How many people have to die for there
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: to be some type of legislation. But as long as
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: they're pouring money into the Republican Party at the rate
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: that they're pouring it in, and they used the Second Amendment,
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: But they're also using it to mask other things, other
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: pieces of platform that they cause. It's a funny thing, man,
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: this whole conservative movement, which there are some really cool
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: conservative people out there, and it's over. It's okay that
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: to think conservative. I'm I'm okay with the conservative viewpoint.
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: It's just when you tell a liberal that they can't
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: think liberal because you think conservative. That's why I have
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: a problem. And you know, just because you're saying and see,
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: here's the thing about conservatives that sickened me about the party.
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: The things that they fight against. Immigration, we gotta stop immigration.
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: All of them have illegal people working for them. All
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: of them have companies that hire illegal people to save money,
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: all of them. All of them. We are against welfare.
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: There's more white people on welfare and black people. That's
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: a fact. We are against gays rights and marriage. You're
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: trying to tell me that there are no conservative gay
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: that's what That's what you want me to believe. That's
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: what we're doing. So see the hypocrisy of a lot
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: of what they're saying. It's it's troubling because they do
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: it just to create this mask to hide the other
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: agendas that they got. Taxes, and all this other stuff.
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: It's all comes down the money and the money they
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: get from the n I. It comes back down to
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: that money. Man, you're listening to show. All right, here
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: we are just one more thing, our last break of
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: the day. Uh wow, President Trump fails to honor the flag.
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: Did you hear about that? I didn't hear about this.
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: While President Trump had no problem criticizing the NFL players,
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: we all know how hard he went in on them
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: for what he says in their dishonoring of the flag
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: by taking a knee in protest during the national anthem,
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: apparently it's perfectly okay for him to show disrespect for
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: the same flag. Trump is being criticized for not only standing,
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: for not only not standing, but for talking during a
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: military flag ceremony. The President was being interviewed by Sean
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: Hannity one of your favorite people, Steve at the Air
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: National Guard Hanger in Middletown, Pennsylvania, early last week. It
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: was last week when a retreat and to the Colors
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: were played, which are played during raising and lowering of
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: the American flag and UH signal the end of the
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: duty day and pays respects to the national flag, to
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: the nation's flag. It's tradition for both service members and
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: civilians to pay their respects to the flag during the ceremony,
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: with military members required to stop and salute, while civilians
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: are expected to put their hands over their heart. But
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: Trump apparently had no idea about the tradition because not
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: only did he stand for the flag, he kept on
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: with his interview as the music played hypocritical huh. Yeah,
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: but it's not a surprise though. It's the same dude
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: didn't know he was president Virgin Islands. It's the same
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: dude that West didn't know he was president. You know,
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: he was president of US version. He said he met him,
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: met the president of you and what to do? Say, Jay,
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: fool you are the president? He did you think he
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: was talking to He thought he met the president. He didn't.
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: He don't know that the Virgin Islands part of the
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: United States. But no one thinks to brief him. But they,
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: I guess they don't know. He He did that too.
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: He won't listen. Don't tell him, that's true. I can't
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: tell him anything. You can't tell him nothing. Yeah, I'm
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: sure they tried. Seventy years old and he won't. Yeah.
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: Any rich yeah, and the White House Chief of Staff.
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: He just said last week that he can't control. Oh
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: my god. When you watch John Kelly in the back
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: just putting his hand at the u N, he was
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: like he was doing venezuela. He he got to be
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: taking stomach medicine. And there were rumors last week that
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: he was going to quit John Kelly, but then he
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: held the press conference and said, no, I'm not going
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: to quit. And as far as I know, I'm not
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: getting fired. But he's close. Yeah, And why you need
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: a press conference to say that all the names he's
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: called people, the word morun is really getting to him. Yeah,
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: that's really the president secretary of State and he hadn't
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: said that. He challenged whatever to an i Q and
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: he said he knew who would win, and meaning himself,
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: we know too, Yeah, but the president meant he would win.
- 1:36:15Speaker 1: Donald Trump would win. We're like the other day he
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: said people are working for their furniture. He meant to
- 1:36:23Speaker 1: say for their future. Was he reading? He was reading
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: and didn't stop the acknowledge. He said people are working
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: for their furniture. That's true, but you know that's true,
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: especially if you got something from render. Come on, all
- 1:36:45Speaker 1: the phone calls. They come. Good. Oh god, that is
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: the most embarrassing. Come and get it. They come, and
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: they're bringing real quick. But they come and get it.
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: They get it faster than they bring you crazy. They
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: call you a tear. Did you forget your payment was due? Hello?
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: Did you forget two o'clock day? There? Four hours later
- 1:37:21Speaker 1: he president said, you're working for this furniture. We're out.
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: Use that as a conversion. So you're excited about tonight?
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: Oh tonight, it's going down tonight at the Jay Spot

- 1:37:50Speaker 1: the difference? Opening club? You'll see little Night next week yearly,
- 1:37:57Speaker 1: and then the week after that. We got the Halloween Okay,
- 1:38:03Speaker 1: you can say it, Jay, the Halloween party with flame

- 1:38:14Speaker 1: you're really not used. I'm not used to that. I'm
- 1:38:17Speaker 1: thinking Steve gonna say shut up because I'm looking right
- 1:38:20Speaker 1: at him. I don't know what I'm interesting man, And
- 1:38:24Speaker 1: all that yaking like you're under the gun. I'm like,
- 1:38:28Speaker 1: I'm nervous because we didn't get the trail. We didn't
