- 1:02Speaker 6: Turn you you got to turn.
- 1:31Speaker 7: I got to turn the mouth the turn you probably
- 1:44Speaker 7: got to turn the mouth, turn.
- 1:46Speaker 3: Out, turn the money up.
- 1:49Speaker 6: Looking, come.
- 1:58Speaker 5: Come out your baby, I sure will. Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 5: You all listening to the voice, come on dig me now.
- 2:08Speaker 5: One and only Steve Harvey Man got a radio show.
- 2:11Speaker 5: How good is God? Huh? Think about it? Just take
- 2:14Speaker 5: a slight inventory of your own life and say it
- 2:16Speaker 5: to yourself when you get through, how good is God?
- 2:20Speaker 5: Think of all the small things, because that's him. You breathing,
- 2:24Speaker 5: that's him. You still here, that's him. You got another chance?
- 2:29Speaker 5: That's him. You ain't out of here. That's him. Got
- 2:33Speaker 5: any measure of health, that's him. You think it's more
- 2:36Speaker 5: to it than it really is than it already showed
- 2:39Speaker 5: up to be. That's him. All of that. You got,
- 2:42Speaker 5: any dreams or aspirations, you dream of other things, that's him.
- 2:46Speaker 5: All that, that's him. That's him. Him, clothes you got,
- 2:49Speaker 5: that's him. Every time you eat that's why they had
- 2:52Speaker 5: this thing called you say you're Grace, that's him. Say
- 2:55Speaker 5: that's him, Man, that's him. It's amazing when you take
- 2:58Speaker 5: a small inventory how you find out how big God
- 3:01Speaker 5: really is in your life. Now, the more you turn
- 3:04Speaker 5: yourself over to him, the bigger he can be.
- 3:06Speaker 8: For you.
- 3:07Speaker 5: See, he'll only be as big as you let him.
- 3:09Speaker 5: It's one thing about God. Now, he's a gentleman. He
- 3:13Speaker 5: can make you do anything. You know, you get too
- 3:17Speaker 5: big for him, You know you you lose your humbleness.
- 3:21Speaker 5: He can humble you. Now. God created man with the
- 3:26Speaker 5: power of choice. We're the only creature he created that.
- 3:31Speaker 5: He gave us the total power of choice when we mate,
- 3:34Speaker 5: who we mate with. You know everything, all of it. Man,
- 3:39Speaker 5: it's a choice what we want to be, how much
- 3:41Speaker 5: we want to make, where we want to live, with
- 3:43Speaker 5: climate we want to live in. We can live in
- 3:45Speaker 5: cold climates, hot climates. You know, we speak different languages.
- 3:49Speaker 5: You can go learn another language. A bear can't do
- 3:54Speaker 5: nothing but be a bear. Is he can't go learn
- 3:58Speaker 5: how to be a fox. He can't go learn how
- 4:01Speaker 5: to be an otter. He just can't. An ostrich is
- 4:04Speaker 5: an ostrich man. He can't come out here and fight
- 4:06Speaker 5: like a lion. A lion is a lion. A lion
- 4:10Speaker 5: eat meat. He can't eat vegetables. I don't care how
- 4:13Speaker 5: much meat ain't around. He'll lay down and pull up
- 4:16Speaker 5: out of here and die because he can't eat grass.
- 4:19Speaker 5: He's just a lion.
- 4:20Speaker 7: Man.
- 4:21Speaker 5: You understand this that God gave us. We are the
- 4:25Speaker 5: one creature he created that has total power of choice.
- 4:28Speaker 5: You can make every decision in your life. What kind
- 4:31Speaker 5: of watch you like? That's the one you can buy.
- 4:35Speaker 5: You want to live in Switzerland, go ahead. You don't
- 4:38Speaker 5: like Switzerland, you can move to Miami. You want to
- 4:42Speaker 5: live your life.
- 4:43Speaker 1: For crime, go ahead.
- 4:45Speaker 5: That's you. He gave you the power choice you want
- 4:48Speaker 5: to do? Right? Come on, So now look at this thing.
- 4:53Speaker 9: We are all.
- 4:55Speaker 5: The results of a series of decis decisions that we
- 5:01Speaker 5: have made. If we could just identify that the problem
- 5:06Speaker 5: is us, we could began the solution. See that's the problem, y'all,
- 5:13Speaker 5: it's us. It's what we do. I threw my life
- 5:17Speaker 5: down the hill. I can't tell you how many years
- 5:20Speaker 5: based on some decisions that I was making. Now I
- 5:23Speaker 5: can justify my decision where I wasn't happy and I
- 5:26Speaker 5: was doing this and I was in miserying y'all on
- 5:28Speaker 5: that ain yes to you when you get through you
- 5:30Speaker 5: made the decisions though, and you can look at this
- 5:34Speaker 5: anywhere you want to, y'all. But at the end of
- 5:35Speaker 5: the day, I'm just talking to people that's really really
- 5:38Speaker 5: wanting to improve their position in life. And how do
- 5:42Speaker 5: you do that? You got to have a solution. How
- 5:45Speaker 5: do you come up with a solution? You got to
- 5:48Speaker 5: identify the problem to even began to solve it. But
- 5:54Speaker 5: if the.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Problem ain't ever you, how you gonna solve something.
- 5:59Speaker 5: That ain't you?
- 6:01Speaker 9: See?
- 6:03Speaker 5: Okay, let me look at this one. If somebody say, like,
- 6:08Speaker 5: I got a child of mine, man, I just do
- 6:11Speaker 5: right here. Man, I don't even wanna get into it
- 6:13Speaker 5: this morning. Boy, I'm struggling with this this boy. But man,
- 6:17Speaker 5: you go to people, you ask them why they do
- 6:19Speaker 5: sothing I just did. I just wasn't taking care of business?
- 6:23Speaker 5: Why I just didn't take care of business? Boy? Do
- 6:28Speaker 5: you understand that your life is gonna be filled with
- 6:30Speaker 5: you got to take care of business? So when you're
- 6:32Speaker 5: gonna start, you know what I mean? You can't. You can't.
- 6:37Speaker 5: You can't go through life blaming everybody. It's got to
- 6:40Speaker 5: be you. See, you can fix you. You can't fix
- 6:43Speaker 5: nobody else if you keep getting married and the marriages
- 6:46Speaker 5: don't work. Hello, Hello, Hello, Could it be you? So
- 6:52Speaker 5: I finally had to sit down and just make that decision. Ain'
- 6:55Speaker 5: don't need to be coming on the radio talking about
- 6:57Speaker 5: nobody else and what they did to me, and y'all
- 6:59Speaker 5: just do no, no, no, man, what about the part
- 7:02Speaker 5: you played in it? Cause see, if you got a
- 7:04Speaker 5: good marriage, you got a part to play in that.
- 7:07Speaker 5: If you got a bad one, you got a part
- 7:09Speaker 5: to play in that. Even if it just get down
- 7:13Speaker 5: to you the one pick them, how about that? Mister, mister,
- 7:16Speaker 5: I made a decision. The problem is usually within yourself.
- 7:21Speaker 5: Do you know that's the quickest and easy way to
- 7:23Speaker 5: fix your life. That way, you ain't got to check
- 7:26Speaker 5: with nobody. Here's the beauty of going on and admitting
- 7:29Speaker 5: that it's you. You don't have to check or clear
- 7:33Speaker 5: it with nobody to start the repair process. You don't
- 7:37Speaker 5: need anybody's permission. You ain't got to put it before
- 7:40Speaker 5: the review board to see if it will pass. It
- 7:42Speaker 5: ain't got to go through Congress. You ain't got to
- 7:45Speaker 5: hope that your local politician get their hands on it
- 7:48Speaker 5: and make a phone call for you. You ain't got
- 7:50Speaker 5: to ask any counselors to come in and sit with you.
- 7:52Speaker 5: You don't have to check into rehab. All you got
- 7:55Speaker 5: to do is decide the problem is me. I'm gonna
- 7:59Speaker 5: start chained me. Identify the problem and start with the
- 8:06Speaker 5: part that you can own up to. Once you identify
- 8:13Speaker 5: the problem, you can start planning on how to fix
- 8:16Speaker 5: this or how to get to accomplishing something. But remember
- 8:19Speaker 5: this planning is important. If you fail to plan, then
- 8:25Speaker 5: please plan to fail. If you don't know how to
- 8:29Speaker 5: make a plan, let's just start with the basics. Just
- 8:33Speaker 5: make a list of what you want. Make this list
- 8:37Speaker 5: and then go to God in prayer with an open
- 8:40Speaker 5: mind and open your mind up to all the clean
- 8:46Speaker 5: opportunities that are available here. Why a lot of people
- 8:50Speaker 5: won't succeed because certain opportunities come along you don't want
- 8:53Speaker 5: to do them. That kills me. Man, when I hear here,
- 8:56Speaker 5: I ain't doing that. I know young comedians that come
- 8:59Speaker 5: to me all the time talking about man, what you
- 9:01Speaker 5: and not saying, Man, just take every gig you can,
- 9:04Speaker 5: no matter what they pay. Well listen to me. Son,
- 9:09Speaker 5: you can go make that money that they pay, or
- 9:11Speaker 5: you can make the decision to sit at home and
- 9:14Speaker 5: make no money. It's a comedy, hard business. They ain't
- 9:18Speaker 5: paying but one hundred dollars. You gotta drive fifty miles.
- 9:22Speaker 5: But if you drive fifty miles and you make the hundred,
- 9:25Speaker 5: and you stand on that stage for thirty minutes, you
- 9:27Speaker 5: are now thirty minutes better than you was the last
- 9:30Speaker 5: time you went on stage. Oh Man, they ain't man,
- 9:34Speaker 5: they don't pay me. I ain't coming. You ain't finna
- 9:37Speaker 5: be a comedian. Man, not like this here. A lot
- 9:40Speaker 5: of people just don't want to do what's necessary to do.
- 9:44Speaker 5: So when the opportunity presents itself and you open up
- 9:47Speaker 5: your mind to it, man, then get ready to go
- 9:49Speaker 5: on and do it. Man, identify your problem today. Start
- 9:55Speaker 5: with the part that'sh you.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:02Speaker 5: Ladies and gentlemen. You know what, man, oh man, oh man,
- 10:09Speaker 5: There are no words for me to describe how good,
- 10:12Speaker 5: how good God is, how fortunate we are to all
- 10:17Speaker 5: those of us who are still here. Because there's some
- 10:19Speaker 5: people that's not here, that was here last week and
- 10:22Speaker 5: for you to still be one of them. Man, what
- 10:25Speaker 5: a blessing. I'm so glad that he wakes me up
- 10:29Speaker 5: in the morning. I'm overjoyed. Man. I went through a
- 10:31Speaker 5: gratitude list, thanked him for I had. I got a
- 10:34Speaker 5: list I read out, wrote out. Every morning I go
- 10:36Speaker 5: through this about eighty things on the list, maybe seventy
- 10:39Speaker 5: five eighty things that I go through, man, and it
- 10:43Speaker 5: just helps my morning get started. Steve Harvey Morning Show,
- 10:46Speaker 5: Special Morning, Colin Farrell, Yessify, Monica, Junior and nephew Tommy
- 10:53Speaker 5: shut it out this week now and now listen normally
- 10:59Speaker 5: all the show by saying, Junior, what's on your mind?
- 11:03Speaker 5: But I'm gonna hear what's on your mind? But then
- 11:06Speaker 5: I have something that's on my mind. Junior, what's on
- 11:09Speaker 5: your mind?
- 11:10Speaker 10: Well, first of all, it is such a great Monday
- 11:12Speaker 10: morning to be amongst those who understand seasoning. First of all,
- 11:15Speaker 10: just just the fact we all understand season sure that yeah,

- 11:49Speaker 10: Yeah, I picked today because we can all understand. I
- 11:51Speaker 10: know you understand what Cooman is. You know what Cooman
- 11:54Speaker 10: is When I say cooming mm hmmm, tell me about
- 12:00Speaker 10: understand what getting Some people on the show don't.
- 12:04Speaker 11: It's a safe space.
- 12:05Speaker 5: See right here now, I think it's time for me
- 12:07Speaker 5: because I said I won't hear what's on your mind,
- 12:09Speaker 5: and surely's not here this week. So all week long,
- 12:15Speaker 5: Juny will be doing the lead in on the show.
- 12:19Speaker 5: He'll be doing all the intros and all the outtros. Now,
- 12:24Speaker 5: I wanted to say that I personally wanted Caller to
- 12:31Speaker 5: do it me personally, but show, but you wanted to.
- 12:38Speaker 5: They wanted to give you a chance, Junior. So I'm
- 12:41Speaker 5: just gonna say this here. I'm gonna try to be
- 12:45Speaker 5: encouraging all we but see right here right now, to
- 12:49Speaker 5: see like that start you off too. I don't think
- 12:51Speaker 5: he ought to be doing that, really don't. I'm starting
- 12:54Speaker 5: to feel that way, see right there, off right down. Yeah,
- 13:01Speaker 5: everybody know what Cooman do. I really don't. But what
- 13:04Speaker 5: you're Regan see right here, just stop hollering house spices,
- 13:10Speaker 5: Yeah cause that ain't what this show fit to be. Boy,
- 13:13Speaker 5: God damn it. I've seen coming is in the shelf,
- 13:16Speaker 5: but I ain't never sprinkle it on a damn thing.
- 13:20Speaker 5: Never sea. What season?
- 13:22Speaker 4: Do you have?
- 13:23Speaker 5: No idea what it does? Cooman is one of them?
- 13:27Speaker 5: See you, I ain't never used it? Oh thistle? What
- 13:34Speaker 5: the hell thistle is for?
- 13:35Speaker 1: Okay?
- 13:37Speaker 11: Colt up?

- 14:21Speaker 5: To fix the way we come back into the show.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Huh, heybody, we.
- 14:32Speaker 5: We gaveled this morning under precarious of circumstance and situations. Yeah, oh,
- 14:42Speaker 5: sister Strawberry is not here in weeding. We're being introducing
- 14:48Speaker 5: lead in by cartoon care. We are gonna have to
- 14:57Speaker 5: deal with this this week in the hopes that she
- 15:01Speaker 5: returns soon. Yeah. Why or Sister Farrail is not doing
- 15:08Speaker 5: this is beyond me. They'll be doing it tomorrow if
- 15:14Speaker 5: it contay right there, But lettle begin with church complaints
- 15:23Speaker 5: before our issue my complaint. Go come on, Dacon, all right, pastor,
- 15:32Speaker 5: we got a situation. You know, we are in the
- 15:34Speaker 5: middle of December and the.
- 15:37Speaker 9: Christmas holidays as coming up amongst us. So we got
- 15:41Speaker 9: a prop from Live Derek. Let Derek said he did
- 15:44Speaker 9: not get what he wanted for Christmas last year, so
- 15:48Speaker 9: he wants the church to pay for him a visit
- 15:52Speaker 9: to the nod postal he can see what's really going
- 15:55Speaker 9: on and why he didn't get what he was looking for.
- 15:58Speaker 9: Your car, past he said, he's not gonna tell anybody
- 16:01Speaker 9: what he wants this year and what he went through
- 16:03Speaker 9: last year.
- 16:04Speaker 5: He want to you a flight up there and see
- 16:06Speaker 5: what's well. Let me help you understand. Little Derek has
- 16:09Speaker 5: been on the naughty list for the past thirteen He
- 16:14Speaker 5: ain't ever come off the naughty list. Now. I know
- 16:18Speaker 5: loud Derek can't getting what he won't, but the fact
- 16:21Speaker 5: that he's getting anything, there's nothing but a mile colored
- 16:25Speaker 5: guard and little Derek. Uh ain't gonna leave you flying
- 16:32Speaker 5: to the North Pole because it ain't now all right,
- 16:39Speaker 5: don't do that. No, it's time for Little Deck. Know somethings.
- 16:46Speaker 5: Ain't no tickets to the North Post. If you go
- 16:48Speaker 5: up to the North Pole, you ain't gonna believe it
- 16:49Speaker 5: ain't nothing up there.
- 16:52Speaker 1: To say that, Pastor.
- 16:54Speaker 5: So if you keep on little Deck exactly where, we're
- 16:57Speaker 5: gonna fly your ass too to the North Lord, come on.
- 17:02Speaker 9: All right, Pastor. I the Christmas play. The Christmas Play
- 17:08Speaker 9: is pretty much cancer. We can't find a baby that
- 17:11Speaker 9: meets the weight requirements. All the babies are overweight. We've
- 17:16Speaker 9: tried to lay six of the babies in a mains
- 17:18Speaker 9: and wrap them in swaddening clothes, and we can't.
- 17:21Speaker 5: Get the blanket around note of them. Do you have any.
- 17:25Speaker 9: Suggestions so we'll be able to do the play. We
- 17:27Speaker 9: don't know what we're gonna do at this point, it's
- 17:29Speaker 9: just a you.
- 17:30Speaker 5: We were going to eventually run into this problem really
- 17:36Speaker 5: because of the weight of the children's Now, yeah, you
- 17:40Speaker 5: can't get I knew we was gonna have a problem
- 17:44Speaker 5: with six of the kids. Was Camel's last year.
- 17:51Speaker 1: Pastor. You can't say everything that comes to your mind.
- 17:58Speaker 5: I'm just saying that's what happened. Uh. Sister Bernice's girl,
- 18:02Speaker 5: uh Trenefiel was the background of the manger last year,
- 18:10Speaker 5: the entire background. She just stood there with a sheet
- 18:13Speaker 5: on and they drew their head everything on her gown.
- 18:16Speaker 5: She was the backdrop last year, and we knew that
- 18:20Speaker 5: was her own problem right there. And then uh uh
- 18:25Speaker 5: Octavia or Octavia Spencer's uh grandson, Uh Nariah Nariah was
- 18:35Speaker 5: the sky at the last Uh. He was the whole
- 18:39Speaker 5: Scottic they brought. They hung him down off of gaffling
- 18:44Speaker 5: and they put stars on his gown. So we were
- 18:47Speaker 5: gonna have trouble with that. Somebody has a new born
- 18:51Speaker 5: baby that's willing to sit there and play the baby Jesus. Yeah,
- 18:56Speaker 5: we may have to cancel to Nativity scene this year. Well,
- 19:01Speaker 5: we don't have trouble, we haven't. You can't have that
- 19:04Speaker 5: many camels in.
- 19:05Speaker 1: The You know what if you say cambe.
- 19:11Speaker 5: All right, here's another situation, Brother i Ke. Everybody had
- 19:15Speaker 5: a gift for Jesus.
- 19:16Speaker 9: I'm sorry, yeah, Brother i Ke wanted to help with
- 19:20Speaker 9: the kids Christmas program that Now, as you know, he's
- 19:24Speaker 9: very militant. Brother. He told the kid that if a
- 19:27Speaker 9: white man come down your chimney, light the fireplace immediately
- 19:32Speaker 9: and see.
- 19:33Speaker 5: What happened, you're gonna have to talk to him past.
- 19:35Speaker 5: You're gonna have to He's out of controlvel. I've talked
- 19:39Speaker 5: to Brother a Keen about that. You know, we're not
- 19:42Speaker 5: getting anywhere. His militancy and racial biases causing a lot
- 19:49Speaker 5: of friction. Uh in the hood.
- 19:52Speaker 4: Uh.
- 19:53Speaker 5: I've talked with Sada Claust and they gonna bypass his
- 19:56Speaker 5: house this year because last year Satay Cloth did catch
- 20:02Speaker 5: a fire and suffered third degree birds and messed up.
- 20:09Speaker 5: I'm so sorry, all right, And this is a terrible
- 20:14Speaker 5: situation here, Brother Danny Flowers, Brother Danny Flyers was told
- 20:18Speaker 5: he needed a new motor for his car. He got
- 20:22Speaker 5: upset and went and bought two Hawsy from Universal Soul
- 20:26Speaker 5: Circles and tried tied them to the front, knocked out
- 20:30Speaker 5: the windshield and claim that he had reins pulling his
- 20:34Speaker 5: old buick down the street. He got three tickets all right,
- 20:38Speaker 5: and the horses are in the back of the church.
- 20:40Speaker 5: What do you want to do with these hats? He
- 20:42Speaker 5: was telling people they would rein there right there. That's
- 20:45Speaker 5: another to see that. Now we're getting back to the
- 20:48Speaker 5: whole problem with na tarty scene. There main't horses in
- 20:52Speaker 5: the back of the church. There is two of the
- 20:55Speaker 5: choir members just back there tidle. They was mistaken for
- 20:59Speaker 5: haws because of berneatha had bought a long ponytail and
- 21:11Speaker 5: they immediately thought she was a horse. That's what that did.
- 21:17Speaker 5: We got several pub We.

- 48:30Speaker 4: I don't know who you are.
- 48:31Speaker 13: You say that if I see your face, I may

- 50:35Speaker 4: Did she sign it to you?
- 50:36Speaker 9: She signed language to her daughter. Listen, you ain't got
- 50:40Speaker 9: to worry about who she's signing too. What you need

- 56:19Speaker 5: And then you gonna comment? Call her? Sure? Yes? Okay?
- 56:24Speaker 5: Here we go. All right, here we go subject. I
- 56:27Speaker 5: live in party city, so I'm outside. Then, Stephen Shirley,
- 56:32Speaker 5: I've been married for seven months to a man that
- 56:35Speaker 5: is significantly younger than I am. I met him in
- 56:38Speaker 5: Cankon while I was vacationing with my son and his family.
- 56:44Speaker 5: I shocked everybody when I told him I was getting
- 56:47Speaker 5: a condo in can Coon and I'd be renting out
- 56:51Speaker 5: my house in Saint Louis. My family act like, because
- 56:55Speaker 5: I'm over sixty and a big girl, that this younger
- 56:58Speaker 5: man couldn't possibly love me. I moved in with him
- 57:02Speaker 5: as soon as I got the keys to my condo.
- 57:06Speaker 5: All we do is hang out and have a good time.
- 57:09Speaker 5: I've been married three times and my last husband died
- 57:12Speaker 5: in twenty twenty two, so it's all about me. I lived.
- 57:22Speaker 1: Continue.
- 57:25Speaker 5: The joke that read through my head was so good.
- 57:29Speaker 5: I live in party City, so I'm outside. Some days
- 57:33Speaker 5: I sleep until noon, and it drives my family crazy.
- 57:38Speaker 5: My oldest daughter and I were on a video call
- 57:41Speaker 5: the other day and my husband came in from the
- 57:44Speaker 5: night before. All she could say is that he's cheating
- 57:47Speaker 5: on me and using me for my money. I don't
- 57:51Speaker 5: have a lot of money, but whatever I do have
- 57:54Speaker 5: is mind. He is and hours. He makes me feel good.
- 58:00Speaker 5: I feel good about myself for the first time in
- 58:02Speaker 5: many years. They expected me to waste a way alone
- 58:06Speaker 5: in Saint Louis and the due of those cold winners.
- 58:09Speaker 5: But God had other plans for me. Oh now we're
- 58:11Speaker 5: gonna dragon the Lord in this mess right killing me
- 58:15Speaker 5: circle in say here we go over here in Mexico.
- 58:19Speaker 5: The size of my back is not in here.
- 58:29Speaker 1: Continue sir, okay.
- 58:31Speaker 5: Sir, over here in Mexico. Over here in Mexico. The
- 58:40Speaker 5: size of my back is not an issue. And men
- 58:44Speaker 5: tell me I'm beautiful all the time. He is my
- 58:48Speaker 5: only problem. My husband wanted his mama to move in
- 58:52Speaker 5: with She's twelve years older than me and a party pooper.
- 58:57Speaker 5: I like being outside in the streets and have sect
- 59:00Speaker 5: with my husband on our terrace, and she gonna ruin
- 59:03Speaker 5: the good thing that we got going on. My children said,
- 59:06Speaker 5: he's gonna slowly move all his family in on me.
- 59:10Speaker 5: That's a no note. How do I tell my husband
- 59:12Speaker 5: and mama can't come live with us? All my kids
- 59:15Speaker 5: right about him? Or not? Please? Advie? All right, Carlin, Well.
- 59:22Speaker 12: Ain't nothing wrong with, you know, being with a younger persons,
- 59:26Speaker 12: as long as you all are on the same page.
- 59:28Speaker 1: It's about respecting each other.
- 59:31Speaker 12: Plus, I think it's just not cool that after a
- 59:33Speaker 12: certain age a woman's intimate needs should not be met.
- 59:38Speaker 1: But your whole relationship just can't be about sex.
- 59:41Speaker 12: You're sixty years old, a big girl, and while vacationing
- 59:44Speaker 12: with your son's family in can Kuon you met a
- 59:47Speaker 12: younger man, decided to buy a condo in Mexico, get married,
- 59:53Speaker 12: and rent out your house in Saint Louis. Your family
- 59:56Speaker 12: is like, what are you doing? Your kids are really
- 1:00:00Speaker 12: just being protective. They don't want this man using you. However,
- 1:00:05Speaker 12: you've been married three times before, and at this age
- 1:00:08Speaker 12: you should know what's best for you, and you should
- 1:00:11Speaker 12: know if you're being used or manipulated. And I'm sure
- 1:00:15Speaker 12: you know the signs when someone is cheating. So you
- 1:00:18Speaker 12: also said that you know you mentioned that you're a
- 1:00:21Speaker 12: big girl, and so I think that you're so happy
- 1:00:25Speaker 12: this man likes you despite being a big girl. He
- 1:00:28Speaker 12: makes you feel good, and you're like, what am I
- 1:00:31Speaker 12: supposed to do? Not enjoy life? Not be happy and
- 1:00:34Speaker 12: not party? And your words not be outside. So here's
- 1:00:38Speaker 12: your main issue. Your husband wants his seventy two year
- 1:00:41Speaker 12: old mother to move in with you guys, and you
- 1:00:44Speaker 12: don't want her to. However, what if his mom really
- 1:00:48Speaker 12: needs help and this is what's best for his elderly
- 1:00:52Speaker 12: mother And it's going to be hard to say no.
- 1:00:55Speaker 12: But if you really really don't want her to move in,
- 1:00:58Speaker 12: then you need to let your husband immediately.
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: You need to tell them.
- 1:01:02Speaker 12: And as far as the other family members moving in,
- 1:01:04Speaker 12: what your family think, No, that's not gonna happen.
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: You can set boundaries on that, Steve, thank you.
- 1:01:15Speaker 5: I don't even know what this's title of this letter.
- 1:01:18Speaker 5: As for I live in party cities on outside, that
- 1:01:21Speaker 5: ain't tighten you, damn guy?
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: What's the title?
- 1:01:25Speaker 5: Tyler? This letter is? My back don't matter?
- 1:01:28Speaker 6: You know what?
- 1:01:30Speaker 5: My back don't matter? Well, here we go. I've been
- 1:01:35Speaker 5: married for seven months to a man that is significantly
- 1:01:39Speaker 5: younger than I am. Keywords significantly that means why gap?
- 1:01:47Speaker 5: Now we find out in the letter that she's over sixty,
- 1:01:50Speaker 5: or she's sixty, or she over sixty I am over sixty. Yeah, okay,
- 1:01:57Speaker 5: here we go. How many men cari coon while I
- 1:02:00Speaker 5: was vacationing with my son and his family. So I'm
- 1:02:03Speaker 5: assuming he lived in can Coon all he was there
- 1:02:07Speaker 5: on vacation. I'll figure it out as we go. Anyway,
- 1:02:12Speaker 5: my family was shocked when I told him I was
- 1:02:14Speaker 5: getting the condo in can Coon and I'll be written
- 1:02:16Speaker 5: out my house in Saint Louis. My family act like,
- 1:02:19Speaker 5: cause I'm over sixty and a big girl, that this
- 1:02:22Speaker 5: younger man couldn't possibly love me. Oh oh, here we go. Well,
- 1:02:28Speaker 5: if you're over sixty and a big girl and a
- 1:02:31Speaker 5: young boy, won't you in Mexico? I have some dults
- 1:02:36Speaker 5: about that. We'll be back. Hey.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: This is John Legend. Hi, this is Felicious Sean. Hey,
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: this is Motown Recording Artists Camp. Hey, you aw, what's up?
- 1:02:44Speaker 5: I'm seeing it?
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: What's up? This is Chris Rock he guys myself.
- 1:02:47Speaker 9: Good morning.
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: This is Tony Braxton.

- 1:03:27Speaker 11: All right, I'll be back for part two. Let's recap
- 1:03:29Speaker 11: today's strawberry.
- 1:03:30Speaker 5: Let it go ahead, be done.
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: Yeah, here it is.
- 1:03:32Speaker 5: This lady been married for seven months to a man
- 1:03:34Speaker 5: that is significantly younger. She's over sixty, so she ain't
- 1:03:38Speaker 5: putting no numbers in here, so let me help y'all.
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: Okay, she over.
- 1:03:43Speaker 5: Sixty, I'm gonna go with sixty five. That's right in
- 1:03:46Speaker 5: the middle. That's fair. And I'm gonna go with he
- 1:03:52Speaker 5: is thirty five. That's what I'm gonna go with. That's
- 1:03:58Speaker 5: what I think would be fair, because significantly younger. He
- 1:04:02Speaker 5: thirty five. I met him in can Coon. I was
- 1:04:07Speaker 5: vacational with my son and his family. I shocked everybody
- 1:04:12Speaker 5: when I told him I was getting a condo in Cancun,
- 1:04:15Speaker 5: and I be written out of my house in Saint Louis.
- 1:04:18Speaker 5: My family act like because I'm over sixty and a
- 1:04:20Speaker 5: big girl, that this younger man can't possibly love me. Well,
- 1:04:24Speaker 5: I'm gonna tell you right now though. Listen to me,
- 1:04:26Speaker 5: big girl, Listen to me. You gotta take care of
- 1:04:30Speaker 5: yourself health wise, because it's very hard to see people
- 1:04:35Speaker 5: who are big at seventy. You know, a doctor one
- 1:04:38Speaker 5: time told me, he said, Steve, have you ever met
- 1:04:41Speaker 5: a seventy year old that was three hundred pounds? He said,
- 1:04:45Speaker 5: It's probably not gonna happen, he said, because it just
- 1:04:47Speaker 5: can't happen. And so I said, okay, Coop, So you
- 1:04:51Speaker 5: need to take care of yourself now, she said. I
- 1:04:54Speaker 5: moved in with him as soon as I got the
- 1:04:56Speaker 5: keys to my condo. All we do is hang out
- 1:04:59Speaker 5: and have a good time. I've been married three times
- 1:05:02Speaker 5: and my last husband died into twenty twenty two, so
- 1:05:06Speaker 5: it's all about me, says. I'll scare me when people
- 1:05:10Speaker 5: been married and people start dying in twenty twenty two.
- 1:05:13Speaker 5: And then you open the letter with I'm a big girl,
- 1:05:16Speaker 5: and then you later on in the letter mentioned the
- 1:05:19Speaker 5: size of your back. And now I'm thinking, what did
- 1:05:22Speaker 5: he die.
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: Or or or or died about him or or what
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: he died.
- 1:05:33Speaker 5: He cheated on her and was killed.
- 1:05:35Speaker 9: You know.
- 1:05:35Speaker 6: You know what.
- 1:05:38Speaker 5: Last letter? Well there's a lot now in this letter,
- 1:05:41Speaker 5: you know. So here we go. I live in party city,
- 1:05:45Speaker 5: so I'm outside. Some days I sleep until noon. And
- 1:05:49Speaker 5: it drives my family crazy. My oldest daughter said, I
- 1:05:52Speaker 5: was on a video call the other day and my
- 1:05:54Speaker 5: husband came in from the night before. All she could
- 1:05:58Speaker 5: say is that he's cheating on me and you using
- 1:06:00Speaker 5: me for my money. Lady, if you the relationship where
- 1:06:04Speaker 5: your boyfriend who is considerably younger than you stays out
- 1:06:08Speaker 5: all night and comes in from the night before, but
- 1:06:12Speaker 5: he needed you to have a place to stay, so
- 1:06:15Speaker 5: he wasn't at his place? Where was he all night?
- 1:06:20Speaker 5: And he came in fresh, He didn't been to sleep.
- 1:06:24Speaker 5: What puts you to say? As we lay we forgot
- 1:06:28Speaker 5: about the tomorrow. As we lay he forgot sunlight cardim.
- 1:06:33Speaker 5: But he didn't care because he came on home to
- 1:06:35Speaker 5: you and I don't have a lot of money.
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: This is her husband, not boyfriend. This is her husband.
- 1:06:42Speaker 5: See you can you can't do that right? What marriage
- 1:06:45Speaker 5: you in? Where you come in and on a video
- 1:06:48Speaker 5: call and hey I'm home, and and and broke. You know,
- 1:06:54Speaker 5: the bed ain't on fire. You don't see your clothes
- 1:06:57Speaker 5: in the front yard. Let me see, she says. All
- 1:07:01Speaker 5: I can say he's cheating on me and using me
- 1:07:03Speaker 5: for my money. I don't have a lot of money,
- 1:07:05Speaker 5: but whatever I do have is mind. He is in hours.
- 1:07:09Speaker 5: He makes me feel good, and I feel good about
- 1:07:11Speaker 5: myself for the first time in many years. They expected
- 1:07:15Speaker 5: me to waste a way alone in Saint Louis and
- 1:07:17Speaker 5: then do of those cold winners. But God had other
- 1:07:20Speaker 5: plans for me, dragged the Lord in. Now here's the
- 1:07:24Speaker 5: line in the whole letter for me over here in Mexico. Oh,
- 1:07:33Speaker 5: over here in Mexico. The size of my b the
- 1:07:38Speaker 5: size of my back is not an issue. And men
- 1:07:41Speaker 5: tell me I'm beautiful all the time. Here's my only problem. Well,
- 1:07:46Speaker 5: you know it depends on where you're at in Mexico.
- 1:07:50Speaker 5: You know, it depends on where you at. If you
- 1:07:55Speaker 5: staying at the if you down at the at the
- 1:07:57Speaker 5: hose and the bond grill, the size of your back
- 1:08:00Speaker 5: might not matter. But if you had seen your frog,
- 1:08:02Speaker 5: I'm telling you right now, them little college girls in there,
- 1:08:05Speaker 5: they different. So if you had seen your frog down
- 1:08:09Speaker 5: in King Koon. He's gonna be judged. It didn't it.
- 1:08:11Speaker 5: But if you at the Hossi end of barn grill,
- 1:08:13Speaker 5: your big back might not bother nobody. And people tell
- 1:08:16Speaker 5: you you beautiful all the time, and you probably are.
- 1:08:20Speaker 5: So let's just move on past that. My husband wants
- 1:08:23Speaker 5: his mom to move in with hers. She's twelve years
- 1:08:26Speaker 5: older than me.
- 1:08:27Speaker 12: Damn, I'm she's sixty because the mom is seventy two.
- 1:08:34Speaker 5: Well number she over sixty, so she's sixty five. The
- 1:08:39Speaker 5: mama seventy seventy. This little can coon condo you thee
- 1:08:44Speaker 5: bought it slowly turning into a retirement home. And I
- 1:08:50Speaker 5: like being outside in the streets and have sex with
- 1:08:53Speaker 5: my husband on my test and she gonna ruin the
- 1:08:55Speaker 5: good times we have going on. My children said, he's
- 1:08:58Speaker 5: gonna slowly move all his family on me. Oh, I
- 1:09:02Speaker 5: think we just discovered what we have here.
- 1:09:05Speaker 9: This is a no no.
- 1:09:06Speaker 5: How do I tell my husband his mom can't live
- 1:09:08Speaker 5: with us? Well, you have to just tell him your
- 1:09:10Speaker 5: mom can't live with y'all because the rest of them
- 1:09:12Speaker 5: people coming. Now I've been down to Mexico. He ain't.
- 1:09:15Speaker 5: They can put some people in the house. I'm just
- 1:09:17Speaker 5: saying they can put some people in the house. Your
- 1:09:20Speaker 5: house will be full if you let the mom in now,
- 1:09:24Speaker 5: I'm telling you right now, you'll crib fitting the feet old.
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: That's that's what her family's saying.
- 1:09:32Speaker 5: Yeah.

- 1:10:42Speaker 10: I don't see why he wouldn't know why is gonna
- 1:10:46Speaker 10: get the number one pick?
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: You know, the Panthers ain't winning nothing.
- 1:10:52Speaker 5: Oh yeah, I'm not going to the Panthers. They did
- 1:10:54Speaker 5: already ruined it. One boy's career at quarterback.
- 1:10:57Speaker 11: Right here, going there?
- 1:10:59Speaker 10: Yeah yeah, But if you could, if you could be
- 1:11:03Speaker 10: the coach of the Cowboys, when you pick your son,
- 1:11:06Speaker 10: when you just force it, Can Prime do that?
- 1:11:09Speaker 5: Is he the coach of the Cowboy? Is he the
- 1:11:11Speaker 5: coach of the Cowboy?
- 1:11:12Speaker 7: Oh?
- 1:11:13Speaker 5: Like what you said, if you the coach of the Cowboys, Cowboy.
- 1:11:17Speaker 11: I would do I would force it.
- 1:11:23Speaker 5: But Eli Manning did it.
- 1:11:26Speaker 10: Remember he got drafted. He didn't want to go play
- 1:11:28Speaker 10: for a team. He just went to the Giants. His
- 1:11:30Speaker 10: daddy did it for him. Should Prime do that too
- 1:11:33Speaker 10: for your door?
- 1:11:35Speaker 5: Yeah? Well, uh, is it just a rumor that he's
- 1:11:39Speaker 5: going to be the coach of the Cowboys or is the.
- 1:11:41Speaker 11: Room know what I'm saying, If you could, would you
- 1:11:42Speaker 11: draft your son? If you the coach of a team.
- 1:11:44Speaker 11: When you when you want your son to work well, working.
- 1:11:46Speaker 5: Lebron put Brownie in the league and I love for
- 1:11:50Speaker 5: two days and I love too. I supported that move
- 1:11:53Speaker 5: right there. I thought it was yeah, I do it.
- 1:11:56Speaker 5: If I was Dean, Yeah, I draft my son number
- 1:11:59Speaker 5: one so he would get paid number one. Yeah.
- 1:12:02Speaker 10: Now in the Big Twelve, Travis Hunter became decent player
- 1:12:06Speaker 10: of the year in the Big Twelve.
- 1:12:08Speaker 11: Now, would you want your son? Anne Travis? Can you
- 1:12:12Speaker 11: do both of them?
- 1:12:14Speaker 5: Who don't want Travis Hunter?
- 1:12:15Speaker 12: Travis t called Okay, let's get boy is a bad boy, Yes, sir, Yes, sir.
- 1:12:24Speaker 5: Travis Hunter right now is the most complete college player.
- 1:12:27Speaker 5: It's the closest thing Dion Sanders I've ever seen. Now
- 1:12:31Speaker 5: is he number one? Yeah? Right there? Man, that boy,
- 1:12:36Speaker 5: that boy, that bad man. What do you do?
- 1:12:39Speaker 11: Do you drop the quarterback or you drift a wide
- 1:12:40Speaker 11: receiver and a cornerback?
- 1:12:42Speaker 5: Depends on what you need, see, it depends on your need.
- 1:12:45Speaker 5: The Cowboys they got Dak Prescott and they got that
- 1:12:49Speaker 5: big contract with Dak, so they're all that's gonna come
- 1:12:52Speaker 5: into play. How do you get rid of that? We
- 1:12:55Speaker 5: got Deshaun Wahston in Cleveland with one of the biggest
- 1:12:59Speaker 5: contracts and we ain't getting nothing and were not feeling

- 1:14:04Speaker 9: I'd like to see them doing because I you know,
- 1:14:06Speaker 9: like personally, if we wouldn't do it, I'd like to
- 1:14:09Speaker 9: see Uncle Steve working at the airport pushing them people
- 1:14:12Speaker 9: in them chairs that need help to get from to
- 1:14:15Speaker 9: they gate.
- 1:14:15Speaker 5: I'd like to see Steve doing that that really really

- 1:24:29Speaker 8: All right, guys, here we are, last break of the day.
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: It's been a good day.
- 1:24:34Speaker 5: Thank us home, Steve Hey, my close the remarks today,
- 1:24:38Speaker 5: It's gonna be on a share of personal kind of
- 1:24:41Speaker 5: a personal story with you. But it's also a story
- 1:24:44Speaker 5: that I think is relatable to a lot of people.
- 1:24:46Speaker 5: And I think a lot of people can put themselves
- 1:24:49Speaker 5: into place, and I think the question I want to
- 1:24:52Speaker 5: ask is who are you talking to and who are
- 1:24:59Speaker 5: you listening? That's an important question to ask yourself constantly.
- 1:25:06Speaker 5: Who are you talking to and who are you listening to?
- 1:25:11Speaker 5: If you want to change your life, if you really
- 1:25:13Speaker 5: want to progress in life, if you really want to
- 1:25:17Speaker 5: be what God has intended for you to be, if
- 1:25:20Speaker 5: you really want to accomplish all your dreams and aspirations,
- 1:25:24Speaker 5: you got to pay real close attention to who you
- 1:25:27Speaker 5: talking to and who you listening to. These two things
- 1:25:33Speaker 5: are critical. You know, I'm gonna share your story as
- 1:25:37Speaker 5: much as I can without being too specific, but just
- 1:25:40Speaker 5: to see if you can relate. I was in a
- 1:25:43Speaker 5: meeting one time with some TV executives, and they were
- 1:25:46Speaker 5: in this meeting to talk about how we could increase
- 1:25:50Speaker 5: the ratings on my talk show. And whenever I take
- 1:25:57Speaker 5: a meeting with news execs, will I listen to them,
- 1:26:01Speaker 5: because if you have a way that I can improve,
- 1:26:04Speaker 5: I'm always listening. But in the entire meeting of how
- 1:26:10Speaker 5: to increase your ratings, all they were doing was telling
- 1:26:15Speaker 5: me what I wasn't and that's not how you improve.
- 1:26:21Speaker 5: You have to tell me who I should be. See,
- 1:26:25Speaker 5: you can't tell me what I am isn't working because
- 1:26:31Speaker 5: to me, clearly it is because who I am has
- 1:26:33Speaker 5: gotten me this far. Now, if you can tell me
- 1:26:36Speaker 5: what I need to add to that, I'm okay. But
- 1:26:40Speaker 5: once again, you gotta be careful who you talking to
- 1:26:43Speaker 5: and careful who you're listening to. So the list started.
- 1:26:50Speaker 5: You know, the one thing I thought I would listen
- 1:26:53Speaker 5: to was one of them said, don't cuss so much. Okay,
- 1:26:58Speaker 5: I could take that, because that could be offensive to
- 1:27:00Speaker 5: some people. Okay, So I took that. Okay, that's something
- 1:27:04Speaker 5: I can't do. But really, to get to what you
- 1:27:08Speaker 5: are trying to hear, I need to know what to do,
- 1:27:11Speaker 5: and then it started into things of just negativity. And
- 1:27:19Speaker 5: one of the things that one of the guys said
- 1:27:22Speaker 5: to me was, don't talk about God so much. And
- 1:27:28Speaker 5: I said, excuse me, He said, don't talk about God
- 1:27:32Speaker 5: so much, and I threw me off a little bit.
- 1:27:36Speaker 5: And I'm just looking at him. He said, because this
- 1:27:38Speaker 5: isn't a religious show or a spiritual show. And I
- 1:27:43Speaker 5: was thinking to him, well, it's not spiritual to you,
- 1:27:47Speaker 5: but the whole fact of me even being on a
- 1:27:50Speaker 5: show is a miracle to me. The fact that I've
- 1:27:53Speaker 5: reached the levels in this business that I have is
- 1:27:56Speaker 5: a miracle to me. So this not being spiritual for you,
- 1:27:59Speaker 5: I understand. But my whole walk is nothing but grace
- 1:28:02Speaker 5: and favor. So I was sitting there looking at him
- 1:28:05Speaker 5: and I said, well, that's not going to happen because
- 1:28:09Speaker 5: a long time ago, when I had nothing, I made
- 1:28:12Speaker 5: a promise to God. I told God, I said, if
- 1:28:15Speaker 5: you let me make it, when I get there, I'm
- 1:28:18Speaker 5: gonna tell everybody it was you. And you know why
- 1:28:20Speaker 5: I made that promise Because I was out of ideas,
- 1:28:23Speaker 5: because I was out of moves to make, I was
- 1:28:27Speaker 5: all out of what to do next. I was all
- 1:28:30Speaker 5: out of bright ideas. You ever been there before, Well
- 1:28:34Speaker 5: you feel like you just out. Well, guess what I
- 1:28:37Speaker 5: told God? I was out and I was gonna step
- 1:28:41Speaker 5: aside and let him in. And now I'll do whatever
- 1:28:45Speaker 5: you tell me to do. I make the moves you
- 1:28:48Speaker 5: tell me to move, and I'll go where you tell
- 1:28:50Speaker 5: me to go. And if I make it, God, when
- 1:28:53Speaker 5: I get there, I'm gonna tell everybody it was you.
- 1:28:55Speaker 5: That's why when I start this radio show, I start
- 1:28:58Speaker 5: the radio show the way I do. When I was
- 1:29:00Speaker 5: doing stand up, before I started, I said, before I
- 1:29:03Speaker 5: get started, I want to just say to God, is
- 1:29:06Speaker 5: everything to me? And without God, I never ever would
- 1:29:09Speaker 5: have been nothing. I said that every single night before
- 1:29:12Speaker 5: I started my show. Guess what, I was keeping my promise.
- 1:29:18Speaker 5: So I wasn't gonna break my promise for some people
- 1:29:21Speaker 5: at a talk show. See, but you gotta be careful
- 1:29:25Speaker 5: who you talking to, and then even more so, you
- 1:29:29Speaker 5: gotta be careful who you listening to.
- 1:29:31Speaker 7: Now.
- 1:29:32Speaker 5: In that meeting with them, I found that it was
- 1:29:35Speaker 5: my last meeting with them ever. They never met with
- 1:29:38Speaker 5: me again, and I knew something was going on because Christmas,
- 1:29:42Speaker 5: there was no Christmas gift sent to my set. That
- 1:29:45Speaker 5: was no birthday gift sent to my set. Oh and
- 1:29:50Speaker 5: next thing I knew, everything was canceled. But you know what,
- 1:29:57Speaker 5: I never stopped talking about God. I never stopped talking
- 1:30:01Speaker 5: about faith. I stopped listening. I don't listen to people
- 1:30:05Speaker 5: that tell me what to do about my faith. And
- 1:30:09Speaker 5: I look up, and today I'm in better shape than
- 1:30:13Speaker 5: I've ever been in in my life because I chose
- 1:30:17Speaker 5: to honor Him in spite of what they were telling
- 1:30:19Speaker 5: me to do. So now where are they versus where
- 1:30:23Speaker 5: am I? It's because I pay very close attention to
- 1:30:29Speaker 5: who I'm talking to, and I pay real close attention
- 1:30:33Speaker 5: to who I'm listening to. And I spend more time
- 1:30:37Speaker 5: talking to God and listening to God than I do anybody.
- 1:30:42Speaker 5: And that right there is a true testament to who
- 1:30:45Speaker 5: I am where I am today because I am but
- 1:30:49Speaker 5: by the grace of God, and I never let nobody
- 1:30:52Speaker 5: tell me different. Those are my closing remarks today. You
- 1:30:56Speaker 5: might see yourself in there somewhere you can do. Hey,
- 1:31:00Speaker 5: talk to Gosh. All right, y'all have to appreciation.
