- 2:04Speaker 1: good morning everybody. You are listening to the voice, Come
- 2:08Speaker 1: on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got
- 2:12Speaker 1: a radio show. Okay, I got something for you today.
- 2:17Speaker 1: This is something that I've really been focusing on for
- 2:21Speaker 1: the past couple of months, to be honest with you,
- 2:25Speaker 1: and I want to share it with you today because
- 2:28Speaker 1: I want to encourage you. Because there's something that's available
- 2:30Speaker 1: to you that I've rarely spoke on before, and it's
- 2:35Speaker 1: something that I've been really really discovering for the past
- 2:37Speaker 1: couple of months. And I can't even tell you the
- 2:40Speaker 1: difference is made in my life. I'm gonna have a
- 2:46Speaker 1: conversation this morning about my understanding of grace you know,
- 2:51Speaker 1: when I was a little you see, hear my mother
- 2:54Speaker 1: singer song all the time. All I need is a
- 2:57Speaker 1: little more grace, a little more grace. All I want
- 3:01Speaker 1: is a little more grace, a little more grace. And
- 3:04Speaker 1: I you know, I sang it with her, you know,
- 3:06Speaker 1: of course, you know, walking around the house and stuff,
- 3:08Speaker 1: and we had devotion service. I would sing it with
- 3:10Speaker 1: the church people. But I ain't repay it no attention.
- 3:14Speaker 1: I really really didn't. Now that I've gotten older and
- 3:17Speaker 1: I've come in to a better understanding of a lot
- 3:20Speaker 1: of things I didn't know about when I was younger.
- 3:23Speaker 1: This is just my interpretation of grace. Now once again,
- 3:29Speaker 1: y'all listen to me. I ain't nobody's pastor, I ain't
- 3:33Speaker 1: nobody's minister. So you know, I'm pretty sure you can
- 3:36Speaker 1: go to church and get a far more extensive definition
- 3:39Speaker 1: of one I'm giving you. I'm just talking to people.
- 3:43Speaker 1: You know. Grace is this thing that that God provides
- 3:48Speaker 1: for us. And grace it's just things that you get
- 3:54Speaker 1: that's really undeserving, you know. I mean, I look at
- 3:58Speaker 1: my life as it is today. You now, look, I
- 4:00Speaker 1: work hard, and I have faith in God that I
- 4:03Speaker 1: do so things are going to happen in my life.
- 4:06Speaker 1: But the way my life is now, I don't. I don't.
- 4:10Speaker 1: I don't deserve all of this. I don't don't. I
- 4:12Speaker 1: don't look at it that way. I have been the
- 4:15Speaker 1: beneficiary of God's grace. I have aligned myself in a
- 4:20Speaker 1: position to accept whatever grace God has for me, and
- 4:26Speaker 1: it will be far abundant and exceedingly in anything you
- 4:30Speaker 1: could think of. His grace supersedes anything you could possibly imagine.
- 4:37Speaker 1: You know, the goals that I set, and the aspirations
- 4:40Speaker 1: that I shoot for, and the things that I have
- 4:41Speaker 1: on my dream board. I have the faith that God
- 4:44Speaker 1: will give it to me. But what He does with grace,
- 4:47Speaker 1: he gives you far more than that. He gives you
- 4:49Speaker 1: what He has for you, not what you can see.
- 4:53Speaker 1: You can't see all He has for you. It's impossible.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Who are you? How can you possibly imagine what he
- 4:59Speaker 1: can imagine? How can you possibly think how he can think?
- 5:02Speaker 1: How how can you possibly do what he can do?
- 5:05Speaker 1: How can it be that isn't a single mind living
- 5:09Speaker 1: or a collection of minds that could have thought of Earth?
- 5:13Speaker 1: What in your wildest imagination could have made you think
- 5:17Speaker 1: of earth? The stars, the heavens, the oceans, the galaxy,
- 5:23Speaker 1: the constellations. What in your mind? What in any man's mind.
- 5:28Speaker 1: We can point at it and analyze it, but we
- 5:30Speaker 1: show it couldn't have thought of it. So come on, now,
- 5:33Speaker 1: I'm talking about lining yourself up with God's grace, which
- 5:39Speaker 1: he will give to you if you if you want
- 5:41Speaker 1: some of it now. But now here's the thing about grace.
- 5:44Speaker 1: It can't be bought. If it could, if it could
- 5:46Speaker 1: be bought, I'm telling you I would pour all the
- 5:50Speaker 1: money I have and dump it into grace, because, after
- 5:55Speaker 1: discovering what it is, it's this goodness that God shines
- 6:01Speaker 1: on you simply as a reward of some type for
- 6:06Speaker 1: his love for you and for you attempting for you
- 6:09Speaker 1: attempting to do right, not because you get it right.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Because if He judged us purely on how we are
- 6:17Speaker 1: the right and wrong of it, we would all be doomed,
- 6:20Speaker 1: all of us, every last one of us would be
- 6:24Speaker 1: doomed because we all fall short, we all make mistakes,
- 6:29Speaker 1: we all sin, we all get it wrong from time
- 6:32Speaker 1: to time. Nobody's perfect man. Now I understand what my
- 6:37Speaker 1: mother was saying about cleaning the house. All I want
- 6:40Speaker 1: is a little more grace. All I need is a
- 6:43Speaker 1: little more grace when the last time you ask God
- 6:46Speaker 1: for some grace. Now I'm not talking to you like
- 6:48Speaker 1: I know everything, because I'm telling you I just got
- 6:51Speaker 1: hip to this a couple of months ago. I just
- 6:53Speaker 1: really started focusing on this a couple of months ago,
- 6:56Speaker 1: and I'm bringing it to you because I know to
- 6:58Speaker 1: help you if you just benefit from His grace, which
- 7:02Speaker 1: you already have, but if you're not aware of it,
- 7:05Speaker 1: you don't know what's going on. Become aware of grace,
- 7:09Speaker 1: Get aware of the fact that God does things for
- 7:12Speaker 1: you simply because He loves you. He does things for
- 7:15Speaker 1: you that you don't even deserve. Somehow, you just wonder
- 7:18Speaker 1: how you just got over when you didn't even do
- 7:21Speaker 1: the things to get over. Sometimes you don't even know
- 7:25Speaker 1: how you got that job you got when you ain't
- 7:28Speaker 1: even really do the things to get to job. How
- 7:30Speaker 1: you end up where you are all education you thought
- 7:33Speaker 1: you went and got and had, How you end up
- 7:35Speaker 1: where you are today in a much better position than
- 7:38Speaker 1: your education could have ever gotten you. That's grace. How
- 7:43Speaker 1: I get every place I am today. I didn't plan this, man,
- 7:47Speaker 1: If I could have planned my life the way it is.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Don't you know how to have done it when I
- 7:50Speaker 1: was living in that car? If I knew how to
- 7:52Speaker 1: do it, No, I benefited from his grace. I'm just
- 7:56Speaker 1: a beneficiary of his grace, of his goodness and his mercy.
- 8:02Speaker 1: God's goodness is better than your goodness. God's goodness is
- 8:06Speaker 1: better than your mother's goodness. It's better than your wife's
- 8:09Speaker 1: or your husband or your booze goodness. God's goodness is different.
- 8:15Speaker 1: His goodness man covers some stuff you can't even imagine.
- 8:20Speaker 1: So why are you trying to put your life together
- 8:22Speaker 1: when the last time you asked him for just a
- 8:25Speaker 1: little bit of grace? When have you thought of your
- 8:29Speaker 1: life in terms of the grace that it has already
- 8:32Speaker 1: benefited from? Have you ever done that? Man? Just thought
- 8:36Speaker 1: about you know you hear songs like my soul looked
- 8:39Speaker 1: back and wonder how I got over. That's grace, That's
- 8:42Speaker 1: all I can call it. Now. Like I said, you
- 8:44Speaker 1: can go to church or somewhere ever you want to,
- 8:46Speaker 1: and ministers that the wind at school to teach this
- 8:49Speaker 1: thing way better than me. I'm just giving you from
- 8:51Speaker 1: a layman standpoint. Man, have you thought about his grace,
- 8:55Speaker 1: would you not bewall to be a beneficiary of his grace?
- 8:59Speaker 1: Would it not say? Now, check this out. The better
- 9:02Speaker 1: you try to do, the more grace he'll give to you.
- 9:06Speaker 1: And that grace can't be bought, Like I said, it's free.
- 9:10Speaker 1: You can't purchase grace. But the better you try to
- 9:13Speaker 1: become the more the more grace he gets to put
- 9:16Speaker 1: your way. So man, just try, why don't you just
- 9:20Speaker 1: try to do better? Look, man, quick tip, mind, I'm
- 9:24Speaker 1: gonna start next week. I'm gonna start at the new year.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Now you now you do that every year, you know
- 9:28Speaker 1: the ems at the new year. I'm eat better at
- 9:30Speaker 1: the new year. I'm gonna I'm gonna gonna get in
- 9:33Speaker 1: here and the new year. If you're gonna do it,
- 9:35Speaker 1: you're gonna do it now. Man, you're gonna do not
- 9:38Speaker 1: stop trying to do something, do it, stop talking about it,
- 9:43Speaker 1: do it now. The best way to benefit from his
- 9:46Speaker 1: grace is starting action now in old w now, right
- 9:52Speaker 1: now today, what you're waiting on. All you're doing is
- 9:56Speaker 1: delaying his opportunity to bless you. You know, man, you know,
- 10:01Speaker 1: do you know how many times we do that? We
- 10:03Speaker 1: delay his opportunity to bless us by not starting now.
- 10:07Speaker 1: If you're gonna get healthy, why don't you start now?
- 10:10Speaker 1: Now you're gonna trip a little bit called the holidays coming.
- 10:13Speaker 1: But you ain't got to eat bad all the time.
- 10:15Speaker 1: You could start eating correct today you could, you could,
- 10:19Speaker 1: and then guess what that could be? Some grace on
- 10:21Speaker 1: the end of that. I'm just giving you a little
- 10:24Speaker 1: cheap analogy. But do you feel what I'm saying to you?
- 10:27Speaker 1: Start thinking in terms of grace? What He has done
- 10:31Speaker 1: for you and provided for you that you ain't even
- 10:32Speaker 1: see coming. That you know, you keep calling them blessings
- 10:35Speaker 1: and I got that a lot of it, and us
- 10:37Speaker 1: all it is. But man, have you thought about the
- 10:39Speaker 1: stuff that didn't happen to you? You can't account for I.
- 10:44Speaker 1: For me, that's been grace and I'm beneficiary of it.
- 10:47Speaker 1: And that's available to everybody that won't sull Next time
- 10:51Speaker 1: you're talking to him, just check in with grace. See
- 10:54Speaker 1: what that is. That's that's better than money. You're listening, ladies, gentlemen,
- 11:04Speaker 1: boys and girls, I have your undivided attention. Please. This
- 11:10Speaker 1: is what's called a PSA, better known as a public
- 11:15Speaker 1: service announcement. You today will be tested, You will be extended,

- 11:36Speaker 1: a car, how long you can hold coffee in your mouth.
- 11:44Speaker 1: We will find out if you will be able to
- 11:47Speaker 1: quiet your laughter, to wear self maintained and not draw
- 11:51Speaker 1: any attention to bosses, from bosses or co workers. You
- 11:57Speaker 1: will be tested on your ability not to laugh at
- 12:01Speaker 1: things that you know good and well you're not supposed
- 12:04Speaker 1: to laugh at. This is a test today. Come on board.

- 22:28Speaker 1: of the gratuity, we ask you that you bless us
- 22:35Speaker 1: with the right mindset to handle these alterations. Come on

- 22:45Speaker 1: with compilation. That's right, what of the situation? That's right?
- 22:50Speaker 1: That one more times he didn't get. We are asking
- 22:52Speaker 1: that we are in line with the complation of the situation,
- 23:00Speaker 1: thus bringing about an arbitration and albtraction. Lord Lord, Lord,
- 23:06Speaker 1: and and uh and and I'm praying. You're praying now,

- 23:16Speaker 1: We're asking watch this now, we are we is asking,
- 23:20Speaker 1: we is asking, uh, bibpetually, come on, we are asking
- 23:27Speaker 1: Bob petually, Bob Petua, that you grant us these returvations. Huh.
- 23:33Speaker 1: Come on, that was the word right there, and say
- 23:35Speaker 1: that way one grant ask these returvation as we request
- 23:40Speaker 1: them from on high, from on high. Somebody saying, you're
- 23:44Speaker 1: you're praying, you're praying, preacher out, yes, let the church
- 23:50Speaker 1: say almand almond again, am oh, we're praying. Now what
- 23:59Speaker 1: you got decon, I pastor. Let's first of all, here
- 24:03Speaker 1: we go, big skipper Flipper, the old school pimp from
- 24:06Speaker 1: the South Side, says. Two of his girls then join
- 24:10Speaker 1: our church, and he wants to join two, but only
- 24:14Speaker 1: if he can use the basement on Friday night. He
- 24:17Speaker 1: guarantees the church five hundred dollars east Friday. Deacon Lowell
- 24:22Speaker 1: told him no, but I said I would bring it
- 24:24Speaker 1: to you. I'm sure that's gonna be a hunt. Yeah,
- 24:28Speaker 1: that's a big Skipper Flipper, the old school pimp from
- 24:30Speaker 1: the south Side. Yeah. Well, sister Shirley, you know the
- 24:38Speaker 1: wood says it's come ye one and all. That's what
- 24:41Speaker 1: it's saying. Oh yeither label and a tide of laboring alone. Yes,
- 24:51Speaker 1: you must come and join a fellowship. That's right. I
- 24:54Speaker 1: think we are to let brother Skipper the Flipper huh,
- 24:58Speaker 1: come on in here on Friday night. Bring in that
- 25:00Speaker 1: five honey. I'm a Paul. I think it's gonna help Paul.
- 25:06Speaker 1: Is not. Hell No, Paul has asked us because he
- 25:12Speaker 1: used though church on every First Saturday for drag race
- 25:16Speaker 1: that he has or Deacon Thoughton or thought that that
- 25:20Speaker 1: drag race involved, cause I told him that ain't what
- 25:24Speaker 1: it was. But we're gonna let him have it anywhere.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Good God the matter, and they're gonna pay a thousand,
- 25:34Speaker 1: But we're making some good side money. Then, so let
- 25:37Speaker 1: the drag race begin and the pimping passed to end.
- 25:43Speaker 1: My sister Larlin Flowers, I lost her fake eye again,
- 25:48Speaker 1: and she's almost certain that little Dante Collins has it
- 25:52Speaker 1: in his mob. But sack, but the boys say the
- 25:55Speaker 1: sacks in his in his locker. She's asking that the
- 25:59Speaker 1: church by her a new one and the cost is
- 26:01Speaker 1: thirteen hundred and seventy five hours that pass. Who were
- 26:06Speaker 1: Tell Sister lean Flowers, who is the boy that got
- 26:10Speaker 1: the lettle? Dante Collin? Little Dante Marvels was my specialty
- 26:16Speaker 1: as a boy. Yeah, we can draw circle and I'll
- 26:19Speaker 1: shoot little Dante for the eye and I'll knock on
- 26:25Speaker 1: his damn Dante. Won'ta have a damn Marvel in his
- 26:28Speaker 1: bank shooting with the passtor because I was a Marvel
- 26:31Speaker 1: shooting as little ball. No, they ain't got that, But
- 26:36Speaker 1: that's how I know they're gonna lose. That boy ain't
- 26:38Speaker 1: gonna be able to knock out man. So I will
- 26:43Speaker 1: shoot a little Dante for the eyeball all right? Speaking
- 26:48Speaker 1: of eyes past the blind, Billy Dixon is asking for
- 26:51Speaker 1: the field the night security position that's open. He says
- 26:55Speaker 1: he's qualified for the job. Now, Brother Titus Fleming wants
- 26:59Speaker 1: the job, is well well Blind Billy Dixon pepper sprayed
- 27:03Speaker 1: brother title now they boat blind. We need you to
- 27:06Speaker 1: pick one of them for the job. Well, I have
- 27:09Speaker 1: decided to go with h brother blind Billy because he's
- 27:14Speaker 1: been blind the lord that boys hearing is off it.
- 27:22Speaker 1: He's actually works on the communion committee and just watching
- 27:27Speaker 1: you pull the wine in the communion car, he can
- 27:29Speaker 1: tell when you to pull the into you need to
- 27:31Speaker 1: stop right there. That too much now, So we're gonna
- 27:34Speaker 1: go with brother blind Billy because he's been blind for
- 27:38Speaker 1: real and long. Pepper sprayed, don't intensify nothing. Oh, I
- 27:42Speaker 1: see where you're coming from, and then it is nice security.
- 27:46Speaker 1: You ain't gonna be able to see them. Then he
- 27:49Speaker 1: is not the man called They have on black and
- 27:52Speaker 1: they're tunneling now. So if you're tunneling Brock, blind Billy
- 27:57Speaker 1: gonna be able to hear that. And he knows how
- 27:59Speaker 1: to pepper sprain. Now he doesn't know how to do
- 28:01Speaker 1: that because he just listened where your voice he came at.
- 28:04Speaker 1: Your boss, make sure you're through talking because that pepper
- 28:07Speaker 1: spray give me your mother's hut. When real quick, pastor,
- 28:17Speaker 1: we are saddened by the death of our sister Grata.
- 28:20Speaker 1: Daniel's her funeral to schedule for this Wednesday morning. The
- 28:23Speaker 1: problem past that she wants to a funeral to beat
- 28:26Speaker 1: uh non traditional. She wants to be deep in bronze
- 28:29Speaker 1: and set at rest right on the front pew where
- 28:33Speaker 1: she sits. Well, since she did, what we're gonna do
- 28:37Speaker 1: and she don't know, is we're gonna put in the
- 28:40Speaker 1: casket painted braun, drop it in the ground and tell
- 28:43Speaker 1: her she propped up on the front that what we're
- 28:46Speaker 1: gonna gred ain't running nothing about, not a damn to here. Wow,
- 28:55Speaker 1: there's your church complain all right, we're coming up at
- 28:58Speaker 1: the top of the hour thing you pastored and returning
- 29:01Speaker 1: that casket straight up in the ground flat. We got
- 29:06Speaker 1: very her vertical and when her knees hit the lid,
- 29:12Speaker 1: she's sitting up. You're listening, all right, ladies and gentlemen,
- 29:21Speaker 1: it is that time, junior. You're ready? Absolutely, is everybody ready? Yes,
- 29:31Speaker 1: I'm a rough room. I mean coming in. It's let
- 29:40Speaker 1: me just tell y'all something here. I was I'm doing
- 29:42Speaker 1: something different this week because I'm growing as an artist
- 29:47Speaker 1: and so I saw something. I saw something definitely traumatic
- 29:52Speaker 1: go on, and it changed my thought process. I saw
- 29:56Speaker 1: some coffee wasted starbust, and it decided pushed me actually
- 30:00Speaker 1: into writing limits. So you're not doing poems, no, No,
- 30:03Speaker 1: this is limericks. I need to be doing limits, and
- 30:08Speaker 1: I didn't. Yeah. Yeah, And for those out that they
- 30:12Speaker 1: don't know what limerick is a limerick, it's just a
- 30:14Speaker 1: short story about an individual. It's real quick. Three weeks
- 30:26Speaker 1: so I changed over limericks and I just found the growth.
- 30:29Speaker 1: Thank you, thank you, And so I just wrote some
- 30:31Speaker 1: limericks about sure to you, Jay, Tommy and Carl It. Yeah,
- 30:36Speaker 1: I just because I know y'all and I know he's Yeah.
- 30:39Speaker 1: Let me start with Tommy the limerick about time. There
- 30:43Speaker 1: once was a man name Tommy who walked around and
- 30:47Speaker 1: nice silk put jammies. He was quick to get mad
- 30:52Speaker 1: and then turned back glad. Oh Tommy is like a Suona.
- 31:00Speaker 1: The truth this one, and I like to do one
- 31:09Speaker 1: about my good friend Jay Anthony Brown. Grown to know Jay.
- 31:12Speaker 1: Working with Jay on a daily basis, I've grown to
- 31:15Speaker 1: know him and this is what I found out. Okay,
- 31:19Speaker 1: there once was a man named Jake who had diabeting
- 31:24Speaker 1: that would not go away. He could not. He sweets,
- 31:29Speaker 1: but he might lose his seats. But Steve, anyway, this
- 31:45Speaker 1: one by Carla, I do like that one. I looked
- 31:50Speaker 1: at my face. There was was a lady named Carla
- 31:55Speaker 1: on the Steve Show. She is the bawler who keeps
- 31:59Speaker 1: it so straight and well up to date for color.
- 32:03Speaker 1: Sometimes like the hall, I told everybody's been waiting on
- 32:11Speaker 1: this when this is what I've been waiting to do. Shirley, Oh, Shirley,
- 32:17Speaker 1: and I love you, says, I really do you. Broby
- 32:20Speaker 1: would pick across. There once was a lady named Shirley.
- 32:26Speaker 1: She is real boogie and curly. She keep Steve real
- 32:30Speaker 1: straight and she loves her mate. But Shirley, don't come
- 32:34Speaker 1: into early those are liberal again. There's once was a
- 32:49Speaker 1: man named Timmy who walked around and silk pajama. He
- 32:54Speaker 1: was quick to get mad and then turned back glad.
- 32:57Speaker 1: Oh Timmy like an we don't know what leaving it yet,
- 33:05Speaker 1: day y'all, that's just it. Uh huh, all right, thank
- 33:11Speaker 1: you Steve engine miss and please, ladies and gentle mcchiefs
- 33:14Speaker 1: here our very old miss and trip, thank you very
- 33:18Speaker 1: much everybody. This is entered with the news, Well, I
- 33:21Speaker 1: gotta take it down a little bit. In the wake
- 33:23Speaker 1: of two young Guahamalan children dying this month while in
- 33:26Speaker 1: the custody of US Customs, the Commissioner of Customs and
- 33:29Speaker 1: Border Protection, Kevin mcalleene says changes are being made. What
- 33:32Speaker 1: we've done immediately, Secretary Nilsen and I have directed that
- 33:34Speaker 1: we do medical checks of children seventeen and under as
- 33:37Speaker 1: they come into our process. That's not a capacity we've
- 33:40Speaker 1: had in the past. Commissioner mcalleen says his border agents
- 33:44Speaker 1: did everything they could to save those children's lives as
- 33:47Speaker 1: soon as they saw symptoms of illness. And Houston, a
- 33:51Speaker 1: seven year old girl is dead this morning. Her mother
- 33:53Speaker 1: is wounded after being shot in the family car. Get this.
- 33:57Speaker 1: Police say the one was driving with her four doors
- 34:00Speaker 1: in the car when a pickup truck pulled up alongside
- 34:03Speaker 1: and the driver started shooting little Jasmine Barnes, against seven
- 34:07Speaker 1: years old. She was killed. They say. The shooter is
- 34:09Speaker 1: described as a white man in a red pickup truck.
- 34:12Speaker 1: Police down there say they don't know the reason. Two
- 34:16Speaker 1: employees of the DoubleTree Hotel in Portland, Oregon had been
- 34:18Speaker 1: fired over a situation involving a young black man was
- 34:21Speaker 1: captured on video. Jermaine Massey was a guest of the hotel.
- 34:25Speaker 1: He was in town to attend a concert. He was
- 34:27Speaker 1: in the lobby speaking to his mother on his cell
- 34:30Speaker 1: phone when the seventy one year old white security guard
- 34:32Speaker 1: guy named Earl Wesley Myers, told him to leave the premises,
- 34:35Speaker 1: and he called the cops. Why are they coming? They're
- 34:38Speaker 1: scoring you off the property? Because what and I'm staying here?
- 34:41Speaker 1: Not anymore? How am I loitering in an area that
- 34:44Speaker 1: is public? So this area is off limits after a
- 34:46Speaker 1: certain time only if you're a guest. I am a guy.
- 34:50Speaker 1: Young mister Massey showed his room key to the hotel manager,
- 34:53Speaker 1: who still told him to leave, saying that Myers wouldn't
- 34:56Speaker 1: have called the cops if something wasn't wrong. A cop comes,
- 34:59Speaker 1: he makes the he makes the young man leave. Jermaine
- 35:03Speaker 1: Massey leave, He complies, He leaves, checks into another hotel.
- 35:07Speaker 1: The police claims in his report that Jermaine Massey was
- 35:10Speaker 1: screaming and hollering and saying everything was racist, even though
- 35:13Speaker 1: the video doesn't show any of that. None of that. Again,
- 35:15Speaker 1: the Double Tree Portland says it's dismissed the security guard
- 35:18Speaker 1: in the hotel manager. Despite the fact that the government
- 35:21Speaker 1: remains in partial shutdown, President Trump has gone ahead and
- 35:24Speaker 1: signed an executive order freezing pay for federal workers in
- 35:27Speaker 1: twenty nineteen. The President center notice to Congress last August
- 35:30Speaker 1: saying that quote, we must maintain efforts to put our
- 35:33Speaker 1: nation on a fiscally sustainable course, and federal budgets cannot
- 35:37Speaker 1: sustain pay increases. According to a data base called fact Checker,
- 35:41Speaker 1: president Trump has issued a lot of false statements and
- 35:43Speaker 1: misleading claims. Example, he says lad they say. Last January,
- 35:47Speaker 1: second fact Checker series that the President made false claims
- 35:49Speaker 1: about three of his favorite type dockets in just a
- 35:52Speaker 1: two hour span, Iran, The New York Times, and Hillary
- 35:55Speaker 1: Clinton and even took credit for having the best and
- 35:57Speaker 1: safest year on record for commercial aviation and even though
- 36:00Speaker 1: there hadn't been any commercial plane crashes in the US
- 36:03Speaker 1: since two thousand and nine. We now all know who'll
- 36:05Speaker 1: be competing for college football's national championship, Alabama's Crimson Title
- 36:10Speaker 1: phase off against the Clemson Tigers on January seventh. And finally,
- 36:14Speaker 1: the movie Aquaman continues to swim over everything else in
- 36:17Speaker 1: the box office fifty two million over this weekend. This
- 36:20Speaker 1: has been answered for the news. Now back to the
- 36:22Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to show? All right,
- 36:27Speaker 1: I want to ask you guys some questions. These are
- 36:29Speaker 1: some questions that we found on Reddit dot com. Steve,
- 36:35Speaker 1: what job do you have zero experience in but are
- 36:38Speaker 1: confident you could do successfully? President of un I could
- 36:47Speaker 1: do it now. I used to didn't feel that way
- 36:50Speaker 1: when Obama was in. I didn't think God could do
- 36:52Speaker 1: it at all. But now he got that right off
- 37:00Speaker 1: the top of my head. And then you didn't even
- 37:02Speaker 1: make that in a question. I love that. No, this
- 37:04Speaker 1: is a bolt. I don't need that in a question.
- 37:07Speaker 1: I bet you I can do it. I can't do
- 37:09Speaker 1: it no worse, damn, I'm gonna make some mistake. But
- 37:15Speaker 1: I take a couple of things I wouldn't have done,
- 37:17Speaker 1: Like I wouldn't have done a travel band. I ain't
- 37:20Speaker 1: saying nothing about sexuality in the military. Never old my damn.
- 37:26Speaker 1: I don't give a damn who in that kid? Yeah,
- 37:29Speaker 1: I don't get And then I wouldn't have asked me
- 37:32Speaker 1: myself to come up day in January. If I'd have
- 37:35Speaker 1: knew I was gonna be all type of hunkle toms
- 37:37Speaker 1: and coons, he told you to stay. Hey, wait, yeah,
- 37:42Speaker 1: I would have never asked my ass to come up there.
- 37:46Speaker 1: If i'd have known what y'all was gonna do to
- 37:49Speaker 1: me up there, I'd have just said nah to yourself.
- 37:54Speaker 1: I called the Obama transition team and everybody saying, hey,
- 37:58Speaker 1: I'm nah. I thought I'm being a good American. I
- 38:01Speaker 1: got up there. You got to with me? Actually, damn
- 38:06Speaker 1: what I come up I didn't know you what I thought.
- 38:10Speaker 1: I was doing the right thing. I really feel in
- 38:12Speaker 1: my heart I did the right thing. But you know,
- 38:14Speaker 1: after that, knowing what I know now, what you wouldn't
- 38:16Speaker 1: asked you to, I wouldn't ask me to. I was
- 38:20Speaker 1: nephew cool after that. I didn't ask a lot of
- 38:25Speaker 1: people that come up there. They went to but not
- 38:30Speaker 1: the president. Man right, and people don't even understand how
- 38:39Speaker 1: God work. He don't even understand. He takes what looks
- 38:42Speaker 1: like your darkest moment, and if you just keep the faith,
- 38:45Speaker 1: he got something. All things work for the good. Them
- 38:51Speaker 1: who loved the Lord God. No, I love it now.
- 38:54Speaker 1: I ain't perfect, but I do love him, though, and
- 38:57Speaker 1: he keeps showing up in my life, man, just like
- 38:59Speaker 1: he yours. I mean, look at all the wrong stuff
- 39:01Speaker 1: you'ven't done, and then look at where you at to day. Now,
- 39:04Speaker 1: technically we have no business being here, Lord Lord, ain't that? Yeah,
- 39:10Speaker 1: that's grace and we all benefit from his grace. But
- 39:12Speaker 1: we act like we don't. But you know, didn't here
- 39:14Speaker 1: come them hate us? Right? All right, we'll have more
- 39:19Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're
- 39:22Speaker 1: listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Yay, it's time for comedy roulette.
- 39:27Speaker 1: You gotta explain it. Yeah, you test out coming ability
- 39:31Speaker 1: each week. Give us five subjects. Put them on the wheel.
- 39:34Speaker 1: It's been the wheel. Wets stop, lets stop. We'll do
- 39:37Speaker 1: the damn thing. All right, Here we go, Here we go.
- 39:41Speaker 1: Number one, if you have a car, why is there
- 39:43Speaker 1: a bus pass in your wallet? Right? Here's another one.
- 39:49Speaker 1: Number two that's funny. That baby don't look nothing like you.
- 39:53Speaker 1: That's the real. Number three. I'm not a scary person.
- 39:59Speaker 1: But yeah. Number four, man, while you let your wife
- 40:05Speaker 1: boss you around? Oh oh, we could do that one
- 40:08Speaker 1: o yeah yeah. And number five, I got your trick
- 40:13Speaker 1: or treat right here. I got you treat right here.
- 40:19Speaker 1: I spend It's fun, the will it's got to be
- 40:23Speaker 1: the last one. No, right, it is Halloween. I like,
- 40:27Speaker 1: come on, what you got? What you got. I'm not
- 40:32Speaker 1: a scary person. Okay, I like this, I like this.
- 40:37Speaker 1: Let me have this, let me start this thing off. Okay,
- 40:40Speaker 1: I'm gonna go with you the body, but somebody got
- 40:43Speaker 1: to be in there with me. Okay, I'm not going
- 40:46Speaker 1: in there by, My damn, I'm going there and I
- 40:50Speaker 1: ain't gonnaway up there right right, I can see him. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 40:59Speaker 1: I respects. I'm out of here. Yeah, I'll tell you what.
- 41:06Speaker 1: I'm not a scary person, but can you turn this out?
- 41:12Speaker 1: I'm serious. No, No, I'm nervous. I know it's thirty
- 41:16Speaker 1: degrees outside, but it's thirty in hit too. Oh yeah,
- 41:20Speaker 1: I gets nervous. Ain't scared, but I'm nervous. All right. Look,
- 41:27Speaker 1: I'm not I'm not a scared person. But but just
- 41:31Speaker 1: for the night, we're gonna sleep with all these lights on.
- 41:34Speaker 1: We need these lights right while I'm in hit By. Okay,
- 41:43Speaker 1: I'm not a scary person, but if I hear some
- 41:47Speaker 1: tire screeching close to me, I pee on myself. Keep
- 42:00Speaker 1: that is true. I've seen him. I'm not a scary person.
- 42:05Speaker 1: But and we've all probably done this. Have you ever
- 42:08Speaker 1: been in the shower and you sweat? To god, somebody
- 42:12Speaker 1: ran past the shower? What was that? What was that?
- 42:20Speaker 1: But you got you got the curtain in your chest.
- 42:29Speaker 1: I tell you what. I'm normally not a scary person.
- 42:33Speaker 1: I know not, but I keep little over there at
- 42:36Speaker 1: that baby, something like that baby don't feel I don't
- 42:41Speaker 1: know what it is, but that baby scared me. First
- 42:47Speaker 1: of all. He got too many muscles to me too. Yeah,
- 42:52Speaker 1: this baby, don't trust it. I'm not. I ain't scared.
- 42:58Speaker 1: I'm telling ain't scared. I'm just gonna go to the
- 43:01Speaker 1: edge of the woods and take a look. If I
- 43:04Speaker 1: don't see you, then I just but I'm not going
- 43:06Speaker 1: all the way. No, I can't do it. I can't.
- 43:14Speaker 1: I ain't really a scary person. But I don't shake
- 43:17Speaker 1: hands with people that it ain't got all their fingers
- 43:23Speaker 1: because I'm gonna jump. It's just a weird feeling and
- 43:27Speaker 1: I'm gonna jump. Yeah, I'm gonna do one to steve
- 43:34Speaker 1: close to that hut. I'm not a scary person. But
- 43:38Speaker 1: if I go to church and I'm sitting next to
- 43:39Speaker 1: somebody who starts rocking, I got to change my seat. Okay, yeah,
- 43:56Speaker 1: I need to slide down God Jesus, all right, we'll
- 44:13Speaker 1: be back with nephew Tommy's frank phone. You're listening to
- 44:18Speaker 1: show coming up at the top of the hour, right
- 44:22Speaker 1: about four minutes after today's strawberry letter. But up next,
- 44:25Speaker 1: Nephew Tommy right here with today's frank phone. Call. What

- 46:05Speaker 1: don't have a problem with as short as the food.
- 46:07Speaker 1: Is there a problem with him? Well, you know we're
- 46:09Speaker 1: looking at the records and look Levinus too, Yes, sir.
- 46:13Speaker 1: Have you looked at the comparison of two year olds
- 46:17Speaker 1: the majority of two year olds and in comparison to
- 46:20Speaker 1: I guess I should say size in comparison to the
- 46:23Speaker 1: bond side, you mean like in body way body size? Yeah,
- 46:26Speaker 1: I mean he's a little tall. You know, he wasn't
- 46:29Speaker 1: a small chat when his barney was ten pounds. But no,
- 46:32Speaker 1: he's on the scale of right where he should be.
- 46:35Speaker 1: He's just a little, you know, taller because his daddy
- 46:37Speaker 1: is tall. But he's doing okay. So you you're you

- 47:18Speaker 1: she said? My name is Kirby. Okay, so every morning
- 47:21Speaker 1: that I dropped him off for a year and I
- 47:23Speaker 1: give my daycare money, Miss Benita has never said anything
- 47:27Speaker 1: about his eating habits. So you're telling me that you
- 47:29Speaker 1: think my son is sat with him. You deal with
- 47:32Speaker 1: him on a daily basis. I don't deal with him
- 47:34Speaker 1: on a daily basis. What I'm looking at as records
- 47:36Speaker 1: that are showing me that he's eating way more than
- 47:39Speaker 1: the rest of anybody at the daycare. And not only that,
- 47:42Speaker 1: he's drinking probably a gallon of milk a day. A
- 47:45Speaker 1: gallon of milk. Y'all only get snacks two times a day,
- 47:48Speaker 1: and he's there only for breakfast and lunch. And how
- 47:51Speaker 1: in the hell is he drinking a gallon of milk?
- 47:53Speaker 1: And if he is man? But all I know is this, No, No,
- 47:58Speaker 1: I'm blown away by this because you follow me on
- 48:00Speaker 1: a Sunday calling my damn child fat. That's the problem.
- 48:03Speaker 1: And your wife has never said a damn thing. Never
- 48:06Speaker 1: has she said one thing to me in a year
- 48:08Speaker 1: when she collected my damn daycare money. She ain't said
- 48:10Speaker 1: my son is eating y'all at a house at home. Okay, Well,
- 48:13Speaker 1: you know, my wife's a different person, and she tries
- 48:15Speaker 1: to be cordial with everyone. He's the one who deals
- 48:17Speaker 1: with me, mister Kirby. I've never met you, never met you.
- 48:20Speaker 1: It's all of a Sunday. The reason why I'm calling
- 48:23Speaker 1: you on a Sunday, ma'am, is that I know tomorrow
- 48:25Speaker 1: if you're gonna be trying to drop your son off,
- 48:28Speaker 1: I am gonna drop him off. I am. No, no, no,
- 48:30Speaker 1: that's that's kind of the reason why I'm calling you. Now.
- 48:33Speaker 1: Here's where we knew that either you can keep him
- 48:36Speaker 1: at home. No, I'm not keeping him at home. My
- 48:39Speaker 1: husband works and I work. I'm dropping my damn son
- 48:42Speaker 1: off at six thirty like I do every morning. Man listening,
- 48:47Speaker 1: if we can't get him, If you really want to
- 48:50Speaker 1: get this, Nita on the side, because obviously you ain't
- 48:52Speaker 1: the one that need to be talking to me, because
- 48:54Speaker 1: if you're not there every day and I did with
- 48:56Speaker 1: your wife, I'm telling you that your son is too
- 48:59Speaker 1: big to be kiss coming every morning. If that's the case.
- 49:04Speaker 1: And if he's eating at a house at home, I'll
- 49:06Speaker 1: send him some extra, but what I pay my money
- 49:09Speaker 1: for is what you're gonna feed him for two full
- 49:11Speaker 1: meals and two snacks, and if he needs extra, I'll
- 49:14Speaker 1: put some in his bag. But he's drinking a gallon
- 49:17Speaker 1: of milk a day. Are you looking there? I don't care.
- 49:21Speaker 1: There's no way possible that he can drink a gallon
- 49:23Speaker 1: the milk of a day. Y'all. Here's here's here's the deal.
- 49:25Speaker 1: I don't want you to have to stop bringing your
- 49:27Speaker 1: son now, and I'm not and I'm not. Here's my
- 49:29Speaker 1: second alternative. I will put him on a diet. Okay,
- 49:33Speaker 1: I'll give him an apple in the day. You ain't, no,
- 49:35Speaker 1: damn hum ain't. Are you from the health food program? No?
- 49:39Speaker 1: I will. I will give him an apple and a
- 49:40Speaker 1: glass of water in the morning, and I'll give him
- 49:42Speaker 1: an apple and a glass of water in the evening,
- 49:44Speaker 1: and then you guys can feed him when he gets home.
- 49:46Speaker 1: You must be certified in the food program, especially if
- 49:49Speaker 1: you're sitting the pre telling me, my damn son is
- 49:50Speaker 1: going on a diet and he's not drinking no water
- 49:53Speaker 1: and no apple. He needs a full snack. If the
- 49:57Speaker 1: other kids is having an apple and water, then that's
- 49:59Speaker 1: what you better be serving him. But if that ain't
- 50:01Speaker 1: the case, in hell, no, he better get the full snack.
- 50:03Speaker 1: So if that's graham crackers and apple juice, well, damn it,
- 50:05Speaker 1: that's what my son better be getting. And if he
- 50:07Speaker 1: won't anstra he better get it. I'm listening, all, I'm
- 50:09Speaker 1: trying to tell you, is your son drink two money? Drink? Oh? Whoa, whoa, whoa.
- 50:16Speaker 1: You need to back at the top. I know you
- 50:18Speaker 1: did not cussing me. I know you try. Ready to
- 50:23Speaker 1: cut to me. Let me tell you what say. You
- 50:25Speaker 1: ain't got to worry about it. We don't have nothing
- 50:27Speaker 1: else to talking about. My husband, me, your wife, and
- 50:30Speaker 1: everybody that works at damn daycare better be there in
- 50:33Speaker 1: the morning, because that's six thirty. We gonna be there,
- 50:36Speaker 1: and my son he's coming a week and he gonna
- 50:40Speaker 1: eat all week. If he want two gallons of milk,
- 50:43Speaker 1: he gonna drink it. If he want two plates of food,
- 50:46Speaker 1: he gonna get it. Because I tell you what we say,
- 50:49Speaker 1: damn good money to come to that daycare. So then
- 50:53Speaker 1: you're gonna bring your child up there. Then I'm gonna
- 50:55Speaker 1: have to put him on some swim fast. Now I
- 50:57Speaker 1: will put your child on swim fast. I was trying
- 50:59Speaker 1: nothing give him to subspect it. But I will ask
- 51:02Speaker 1: give him some slim fast, and you're gonna get a
- 51:04Speaker 1: slim fast shopping. I'm gonna whop y'all that whoever gave
- 51:08Speaker 1: it to him, whoever gave it to him, they gonna
- 51:10Speaker 1: get a slim fast shipping. I'm the little kids would
- 51:12Speaker 1: have some slimp fass. If he getting some, he better
- 51:14Speaker 1: eat whatever they eat. And if they eat steak with
- 51:16Speaker 1: damn it, he better have them too. If we had steak,
- 51:18Speaker 1: he'd probably eat the whole damn cow he eatn't care.
- 51:21Speaker 1: I'll pay for it, but he's been like getting a
- 51:24Speaker 1: slim fast. I will shut it down about my child. Okay,
- 51:28Speaker 1: I got something else you need to know about your son?
- 51:30Speaker 1: What the else do I need to know? Besides you
- 51:33Speaker 1: think my son is overweight? What the jelf? Can you
- 51:37Speaker 1: tell me today? I need to tell you this. I
- 51:39Speaker 1: need to tell you that. This is nephew Tommy from

- 54:53Speaker 1: bottle down with that cord on it. Yeah. I shot
- 54:58Speaker 1: the first scene from Glory before Glory came out. Des
- 55:04Speaker 1: title that. Oh all right, let's get to the letter.
- 55:11Speaker 1: You're crazy, Steve. Here we go strawberry letter, all right,
- 55:16Speaker 1: subject a stinky situation. Dear Stephen Shirley. I met a
- 55:20Speaker 1: very nice man three months ago and we headed off
- 55:23Speaker 1: pretty quick. He has been taking me on a lot
- 55:26Speaker 1: of nice dates and we have really good time together.
- 55:29Speaker 1: I thought I had finally met the man of my
- 55:31Speaker 1: dreams until two weeks ago we ended up back at
- 55:35Speaker 1: his house after a great dinner date. We both were
- 55:38Speaker 1: ready to be intimate, and we knew it was about
- 55:41Speaker 1: to go down, so we started taking off our clothes.
- 55:44Speaker 1: He took his shirt off first, then his pants, and
- 55:48Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley, a funk I had never smelled before, hit
- 55:54Speaker 1: my face, hit me in the face. I realized that
- 55:57Speaker 1: the smell was indeed coming from him, so I told
- 56:01Speaker 1: him that I no longer that I was no longer
- 56:04Speaker 1: in the mood and I needed more time to be
- 56:06Speaker 1: sure I was ready for intimacy. As I left his house,
- 56:11Speaker 1: I thought that maybe he had a long, busy day
- 56:14Speaker 1: at work and didn't have time to freshen up before
- 56:17Speaker 1: that date. But he's not a small guy, so he
- 56:20Speaker 1: should have known better. I didn't say anything to him
- 56:23Speaker 1: about it. A week later, I decided to give it
- 56:27Speaker 1: another try to see what happens this times as things
- 56:31Speaker 1: guided it, that same body odor hit me in the
- 56:35Speaker 1: face again. Now I can't make it. Now, I can't
- 56:40Speaker 1: make any more excuses for him. He is a grown man.
- 56:43Speaker 1: When he's fully dressed, he looks clean, and he smells
- 56:46Speaker 1: like a nice cologne. But when he starts taking his
- 56:49Speaker 1: clothes off, it's unbelievable. I don't know how he can
- 56:55Speaker 1: walk around like that? Am I wrong for not being
- 56:58Speaker 1: honest with him and helping him work past the smelly issue?
- 57:02Speaker 1: Besides the funk, he is a great and loving guy.
- 57:06Speaker 1: What should I do? Oh? This is horrible. I mean,
- 57:11Speaker 1: this really is bad. This is this is really really bad.
- 57:16Speaker 1: This is because I mean, this is like a deal
- 57:19Speaker 1: breaker right here. This is a deal breaker. Uh. And
- 57:23Speaker 1: I don't know how he doesn't know it because we
- 57:26Speaker 1: smell ourselves first, don't we before anyone else does? I mean,
- 57:31Speaker 1: is this is this some sort of he's got to
- 57:34Speaker 1: smell this? That's all I can say. If you like him,
- 57:36Speaker 1: if you want to have a future with you him,
- 57:38Speaker 1: you have to tell him. You should tell him. You
- 57:41Speaker 1: have got to tell him. I don't I don't know
- 57:44Speaker 1: if I would stick around for this. I don't know
- 57:46Speaker 1: how great he is. I just don't think I would. Um,
- 57:50Speaker 1: But it could be that he just doesn't know. Although
- 57:53Speaker 1: I don't know how he doesn't know. Maybe he doesn't
- 57:55Speaker 1: he has a bad sense of smell. I don't know.
- 57:59Speaker 1: But this problem has to be addressed, and you have
- 58:01Speaker 1: to tell him. That's all I can tell you. You
- 58:03Speaker 1: have to sit him down and tell him. And if
- 58:06Speaker 1: it's a medical issue, if he's sick or something, you
- 58:08Speaker 1: gotta go to the doctor and get it checked out.
- 58:11Speaker 1: This is bad. This is a deal breaker breaker. Steve. Well,
- 58:16Speaker 1: first of all, let's get this clear. This ain't medical.
- 58:20Speaker 1: Let's go through this. Let me tell what happened. You
- 58:24Speaker 1: finally met the man of my dreams ago. We ended
- 58:27Speaker 1: up back at this house after some dayton were both
- 58:31Speaker 1: ready to be intimate. We knew it was about to
- 58:35Speaker 1: go down. Key worried about to go down, so we
- 58:42Speaker 1: started taking our clothes off. He took off his shirt first.
- 58:48Speaker 1: He knowed to do this first because just to break
- 58:50Speaker 1: in move okay, all right, took off his shirt first.
- 58:54Speaker 1: Then his pain. Wait a minute, go back. What she
- 59:00Speaker 1: gotta ease a person into it. You can't just snatch
- 59:03Speaker 1: you know, he know, let me take your shirt off first. Ready,
- 59:12Speaker 1: Now the pans Stephen shellon a funk that I had
- 59:21Speaker 1: never smelled before, hit me in the face. It engulfed
- 59:26Speaker 1: the room. That's what you're trying to say. I can't
- 59:31Speaker 1: she had it had been contained in the pants. Pass
- 59:37Speaker 1: got a belt on it, drawl wrapped around it, pass legs.
- 59:42Speaker 1: It been oozing out the bottom the whole night. Yeah,
- 59:46Speaker 1: all round. His ankles got funk on it, because that's
- 59:49Speaker 1: the only outlet. When you got pass. You're walking, so
- 59:53Speaker 1: and you when you walking, you're spreading and the people
- 59:55Speaker 1: behind y'alling what is that? But you don't know. But
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: when he pulled him passed down. I only got a minute.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: So I'm gonna have to tell you when I come back. Yeah,
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: I'm gonna let you know what happened. Wow, when the
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: pass came down? Why happened, and why continues to happen
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: and how you can fix it? Okay, all right, we're
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: gonna after this. Yes, when the pass came down? Well
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: that part two if Steve's response coming up at twenty
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: three after the hour you're listening to. All right, Steve,
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: let's go when you left off in part one, you
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: covered the top area. Now now part two it's the
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: bottom area. So let's get to it. The Strawberry letter
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: for today, A stinky situation. Let's recap Steve. This woman
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: that meant the man in her dream. They'd been going out.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: He's lovely, wonderful. One day they went out. Weeks later,
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: great dinner date. We both ready to be intimate. We
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: knew it was about to go down, so we started
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: taking our clothes off. He took his shirt off first,
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: then his pass and, as the lady wrote Stephen Shirley,
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: a funk that I had never smelled before hit me
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: in the face. That's because it had been released. It's
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: been locked up a belt, got it in, drawed, got
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: it in, passed legs, hold it in once you pulled
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: him passed down. Yea. We wrote a song about it,
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: the Hot Tops. When the funk hits the face, Yeah, yeah,
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: all the people start to jam. Come on, get with me?
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: So now you with him? Now I realized that the
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: smell was indeed coming from him. I told him I
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: wasn't in the mood, and let's make sure it's ready here,
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: she said, But he is not a small guy, so
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: he should have known better. Wait, what did guy do it?
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: Don't worry about that. A week later I decided to
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: give it another try to see what happened this time?
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: Things got heated the same body or to hit me
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: in the face. Now, I can't make any excuses for him.
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: He's a grown man. He's fully dressed, he looks clean,
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: he smells like Knights cologne. But when he started taking
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: his cloth off, its unbelievable. I don't know how you
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: can walk around like that. In my wrong for not
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: being honest when he helping work past the smelling issue,
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: He's not wrong. He then't got used to it. He
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: can't smell what you smell. It's stay. You ever been
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: on people's houses and they got a smell to it? Ye,
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: and you'll be going, man, how y'all sitting up in
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: the hill? See they live in now? See he lived
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: with the phone. Now let me tell you why he stayed.
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: Because inside them pass it's crivices and cracks. Hey, word cracks. No,
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: you worn what you want? It's the unleashen. It's like
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: you've seen that movie Pods of the Cremin when the cracking,
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: the cracking, cracking, that's what he got. The crackings in
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: his pants right now, and the cracking comes up out
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: the water. Hen' word crack and crevices. The cracking comes
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: up and devours everything in his pad. It's too much,
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: the cracking. He takes his pants down. It everywhere's all
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: in the room. Flowers start dying, papers start burning on
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: the edges. Your eyes is watering up. He's standing there
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: a large man. This man needs a bath. First of all,
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: he is not cleaning himself properly. He taking bird bad.
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: He needs to get he tapping up on top. He
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: gots to getting some water. He needs pine salt. I'm
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: gonna just be real with you. He needs fox caps
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: of pine saw in his bath water. Really your pine
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: saw with well, don't he smell like about? See? He
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: needed to run some bath water and put that little
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: man in the boat from tide and bad. He need
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: to drop tide bold. He is in tablets in that
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: damn water with him. He got to get something bubbling
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: in there. See, I can't tell you what I really
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: want to tell you because I had to rethink my
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: answer because there's a lot of words in that. A
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: lot of people ain't gonna understand. But let's just say
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: racks and crevice. Okay, we know what it is. Yeah,
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: we got it. You know. Let me tell you what.
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: Let let me tell what the real problem that center
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: split that thing right there, it's it's got some something
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: going on. It's got something going on that he's not
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: cleaning himself. Problem. He used the bath room and he
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: wiped it himself like he twels. See when you grown,
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: you got to love you gotta do a little bit different. Yeah,
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: you got to put a washcloth next to your toilet,
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: which soap? You need a bidet. He needs an install
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: a bi dated today. He to date and tell that
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: damn shower out and move it over a little bit
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: and need to put a date on it. Total Total
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: has a toilet seat that you can buy, y'all. It's
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: an automated toilet seat that you you don't have to
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: buy them. See, I had a toilet that do the washing, drying,
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: all that spray all that every single time you go
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: in there, and it keeps me, keeps me baby fresh.
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: If you don't have that money, they make a toilet
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: seat that sits on top of your toilet. You take
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: your toilet seat off and you install it, and it
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: will shoot your hot water, it'll dried for you. It'll
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: put pressure washing on it. He got to get pressure now.
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: If he don't, if you don't have the money for
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: that home deep O sales pressure washing that's gonna hurt,
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: even on his lowest settings. Is not made for the
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: human body. But he needed to just grin his teeth
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: and bear with its. Yeah, under his privates, his privates
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: he needs now now, he's not gonna do this here
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: because it looked real scary. He needed he needed to
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: pack awkle corn starts on him. Oh no, I had
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: rash one time and I put awkle corn starch only
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: h and forgot that I had it on. It was
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: with this girl I was in college and pull my
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: draw or she saw him white pellets. Only that girl
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: started crying. I didn't know where she was crying about.
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: I was thinking myself, feeling pretty proud. Hete don't be
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: afraid of it and ain't gonna anything gonna buit. I
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: looked down, saw him white balls and wit alkle corn
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: starch on me. Anna, you're listening, Steven, show right up,
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: Steve and Jay and and Tommy and Junior. Jay explains well,
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: she Shelley called me up. Steven said she sawt us
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: a little boy because you saw it. Okay, I actually
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: did see this. Yeah, Nesta and I were having breakfast
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: one morning outside and we see this little kid, this
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: little white kid, roll up on the skateboard and turn
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: around and he was talking to his dad. And he
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: turned around and he was like, you're lying, dad, You're
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: a liar. Stop lying, dad, you're lying. And he's still alive.
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: It is still alive. And the dad was like, don no,
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: I'm not lying to you. The da dad was arguing,
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: looking at Daddy would have split the back of my head.
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: That's what we were staying. There is no we didn't
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: even say the word lie. We could even we had
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: to say telling a story. And a grown person was
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: never lying, never even if they were lying, yeah, even
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: if yeah. So what you got now? So we got
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: a list of things that white kids can say, but
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: you definitely cannot say that as a black child. Right Like,
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: for instance, I'm going to my room and please do
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: not disturb me. Tell me whatever, tell me what happened. Man.
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: I slammed the door in my house one day and
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: my daddy came in there and took the dough off
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: the in the garage. You don't have a Doughe just
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: things that white kids can say that black kids can't. No,
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: you hush, you hush. Wow Wow, no, no, you you hush.
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: I got world white kids to say the black kids can't.
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: Now right now, all black kids get out. Wow. Touched me,
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: touched me, and I'm calling the authority first of all?
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: Who talk? Oh, I got one right here? I got
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: one right here. That's my father left. Oh wait, I
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: like this right here. Wow, it's my party and I
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: didn't have over here whoever I want? Yeah, Wow, it's
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: really different. It's so different. You got one. You're not
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: my friend to your parents. I did for you. I
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: hate you every day you happen to you for real?
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: Right Yeah. I was at the airport j and this
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: little white kid was going through security. He was mad
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: at his parents and then moving walk away. The entire time.
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: He screamed to his dad, I hate you every day
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: you go, Steve, what you got man? I was trying
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: to think of one, really, just really what one that
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: I thought? But I knew not to say, uh, the
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: one right here? Okay, Hey, I wish I lived with
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: Billy's parents. Okay, well you take your little no, take
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: your ass on over there. I got one right here?
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: How long do I have to live without my own phone?
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: A lot of freedom? It's ignorant, right you say that? Man,
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: they can say this, get away with what. I don't
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: mean to say this, but I'm just gonna say it.
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: This spaghetti sucks. Spaghetti that's getting hit spaghett right. Yeah,
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: these are things white kids can say to their parents.
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: I'm not going over to Grandmama's house. Stinks. What did
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: you just say? What? What did you just say? By
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: my mommy? Damn it, Mom, you're getting on my nerves.
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: We can't say that to our parents. We can. It's different.
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: A Hey, I'm all enough to make up my own mind.
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: But no, no, no, First of all, you ain't got

- 1:13:07Speaker 1: We don't want to have to hear this. Me and
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: Rebecca going to the room, girl, but not go down
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: the hallway to see you cut lights on in here?
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: I got one. I got one. Oh my god, spinach again. Yes,
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: we're all dead. We're dead with every one of these.
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: Blair's mom cooks better than you can. Blairs Mom mom,

- 1:21:16Speaker 1: so listen to this. Have you ever worked with someone

- 1:21:34Speaker 1: All right? If so, you know there's no worse feeling.
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: You immediately want to rush into your boss's office. Huh,
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: he just happens a beata boss and asked for a
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: comparable raise. Now this according to an article and a
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: Women's health dot com on their website, you should first
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: research why your coworker makes more money and see if
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: your pay is below I could raid. Then go in
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: and negotiate with your boss by pulling together your accomplishment
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: since being on the staff, is it okay, that's how
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: you get a raise. Okay? If you find out someone's
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: making more of that, okay, that's good advice. Yeah, do
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: not say you got it. That is not a that's
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: not a good phrase of you when you want to
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: raise or you got it? Yeah, talking to you when
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: you talk to your boss. I want to why do
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: you need a race because you got you got it? No,
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: you're right, Ja, Okay, don't point out stuff they are
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: buying for themselves if you want to raise. I see
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: you coming here with a new suit every day. Come
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: what I need to know? Wh I come. That's not
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: a good point. Don't don't go click at the card,
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: look at it then I'm on the bus. Don't don't
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: go there with that. Bring out your accomplishments. What do
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: you bring to this company? That's why you want more money?
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: Steve was making that upset me. So what did you
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: do about it? To him? At RA that didn't laugh
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: Steve as CEO, though I have been at this a
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: lot longer than you. I've been in this business longer
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: than you. I've had more failures than you. You so
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: therefore wasn't going there? He was it? She brought it
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: up on piece of theater. Since you brought it up
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: the rass I want to talk about I just been
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: out here longer than you. But you got like two
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: or three mozy rods. Didn't me though, I mean it's
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: a it's a scream them two three, you know what.
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: I look at it? No talma you got boy? What
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: did you rephrase to the commas? That's what problem. Don't
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: where about them? Zero commas? Down commas? Boy, man, your
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: money your commas? What a comma? Gool? No, no, the
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: comma go right here? Hey man, When you sit up
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: around some ricky people and listen to them talk, they
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: ain't got nothing doing, no damn zero. I heard the
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: common conversation. Got it up? Yeah, man, Well I look
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: at it like this. The MoU make that means we're
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: still making so you know what I'm talking about. I'm
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: looking at it like that. So thank you for keep
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: making it because we all right, we'll have more of
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: this Steve Frvery Morning Show right after this. You're listening show.
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: All right, ladies and gentlemen, it is that time, junior.
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: You're ready? Absolutely, is everybody ready? Yes, I'm a rough room.
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: I mean coming in it's time for j Let me
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: just tell y'all something here. I was I'm doing something
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: different this week because I'm growing as an artist, and
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: so I saw something black. I saw something definitely traumatic
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: go on, and it changed my thought process. I saw
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: some coffee wasted starbust, and it decided pushed me actually
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: into writing limits. So you're not doing poems, No, no,
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: this is limericks, but it hit I need to be
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: doing limits and yeah. Yeah. And for those out that
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: they don't know what limerick is a limerick, it's just
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: a short story about an individual. It's real quick. Three
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: weeks I changed over limericks and I just found like
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: the growth, thank you, thank you, j And so I
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: just wrote some limericks about chair to you, Jay, Tommy
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: and Carla. Yeah, I just because I know y'all know.
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: Let me start with Tommy. It's the limerick about Tommy.
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: There once was a man named Tommy who walked around
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: and nice silk put jammis. He was quick to get
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: mad and then turned back. Lad. Oh, Tommy is like
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: a suona. Okay, And I like to do one about
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: my good friend Jay, Anthony Brown. Grown to know Jay
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: working with Jay on the day basis, I've grown the
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: norm and this is what I found out. Okay. There
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: once was a man named Jake who had diabetes that
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: would not go away. He could not eat sweets, but
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: he might lose his seats. But Steve away this one
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: by Carla just that I do this that I looked
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: at my face. There was was a lady named Carla
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: on the Steave Show. She is the baller. She keeps
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: it so straight and well up to date. But Carlor
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: sometimes like the hollo. I know Everybody's been waiting on this,
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: when this is what I've been waiting to do to him.
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: Come on, Shirley, Oh Shirley, and I love you, says
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: I really do you. Rob will pick across. But there
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: once was a lady named Shirley. She is real boogie
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: and girly. She keeps Steve real straight and she loves
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: her mate. But Shirley, don't come into early those are
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: lim again. Please. There's once was a man named Timmy
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: who walked around and silk pajohnny. He was quick to
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: get mad and then turn back glad, Oh Timmy, like
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: we don't know what listening again? Who we hear a day, y'all?
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: Uh huh, all right, thank you you're listening show. Steve.
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: Here we are end of the show with just one
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: more thing. You're closing remarks today, I want to still
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: stay on the encouraging tip, and I want to talk
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: to people about something that you should make in two
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: and eighteen. These are just suggestions, folks. You know, I
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: don't know everything, but these are some things that I
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: do to personally keep myself moving forward in a positive
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: direction because I'm always trying to accomplish something new. You know,
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: I'm never satisfied. Well, it's not that I'm never satisfied.
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: I'm never complacent. I don't I don't believe in sitting still.
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: I don't believe in and not moving forward. I just
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: don't see it. You know. Every day I try to
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: wake up an approach and attack a new challenge. I've
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: always setting goals out there because it just gives you
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: something to aim for throughout the day. One of the
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: things I want to remind people of something that I
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: do up you're invited to do the same is, you know,
- 1:30:03Speaker 1: have a life, feel with a mission, have a life
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: filled with a mission. You can have several missions in life.
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: Forget your life filled with missions. Remember the show Mission Impossible,
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: and remember that tape recording that used to come on
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: every day and tell the guy what to do and
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: then at the end of it the tape with self destruct,
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: but that became the mission. It became the purpose, the
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: task at hand, and until you completed that task, you
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: came back in. And that's what the whole show is.
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: It's really funny thing, you know. It's tape recording comes
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: on and then it fearses and disintegrates, and that's your mission.
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: I still do that, man, It's sort of a funny analogy.
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: But I try to create a mission in my life
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: all the time. And in order to accomplish your mission,
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: one of the things you have to do is you
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: have to surround yourself with people who are about the
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: same mission. That will be no missions accomplished in life
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: solely by yourself. I don't I can't think of anything
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: that you can accomplish solely by yourself. You know, even
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: if you want to have a relationship with God, Yeah,
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: you can have a relationship with God, but to draw closer,
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: you know, you gotta have some type of toolge. You know,
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: you gotta read some scriptures. Somebody's got to show you
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: another way to approach it. Somebody go, Man, if you're
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: going through this, read this or read that, and it
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: sort of helps you with your goal. Even in that.
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: But I don't know anything that you can accomplish mission
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: wise alone. So you need to surround yourself who with
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: people who are like minded. As a motivational speaker, sometimes
- 1:31:46Speaker 1: when I'm going I use my motivational pictures that I
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: keep in my phone and I put them up on
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: a big screen and I show them to people. And
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: one of my favorite pictures is a picture of these
- 1:31:56Speaker 1: lions walking and then expressing on the lions face because
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: they've they've woken up from their nap and they're going
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: out for the hunt. And if you look at lions
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: when they're walking to go out on a hunt, they
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: all have that same determined look on their face because
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: they're all about the same mission. You ever notice when
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: lions ready to go out on the hunt, they leave
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: the cubs back at the den because see, it ain't
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: no time to play out here, because we're going out
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: here to feed, We're going out here to hunt. So
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: they leave the cubs back in the den when they
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: go out on the hunt because they ain't got no
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: time for no foolishness. And I have this picture in
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: my phone of these lions just striding and if you
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: look at all the looks on their face. They're serious.
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: It ain't no playtime because everybody is on the same mission.
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: Everybody is of the light mindedness, and it takes to
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: accomplish the mission. And the caption says, surround yourself with
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: people who are on the same mission. And I'm saying
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: that to you today. Find someone who is about the
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: business just like you are. Start hanging out with people
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: who are goal oriented, who are success minded. Somebody was
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: talking to somebody one time and they said, man, Steve,
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: let me manage this something. Why rich people are always
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: talking about money? That would get on my nerves. Okay,
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: what else you want to talk about? You want to
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: talk about what happened on the Real Housewives? What you
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: want to talk about who's going on in the theaters today?
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: We can talk about that. But when I get together
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: with my friends, we get together. We on a mission.
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: I even play golf with people who are on the
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: same mission as me, you know, because we have like mindedness.
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: I don't play golf with a bunch of single friends
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: because see now, when we're not playing golf, we're not
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: gonna be able to single mound. I need people just
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: want to go play golf, Go to the clubhouse, have
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: a cigar, get yourself a drink, get yourself somebody, and
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: gonna go to your room because we gotta get up
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: early to morning play this tournament game. We got going again.
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: That's just it. Even when I play, I play with
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: people of like mindedness. I don't play with people that's
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: doing something else because I don't need the distraction. It's
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: very important that you surround yourself with like minded people.
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: Find them somewhere. See. It goes along with an old saying,
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: you've all heard this. If you're the smartest person in
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: your group, then you need a new group you got
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: You can't be the smartest person in your group. Man,
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: you gotta have somebody that knows a little bit more
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: about the journey, or it's familiar with a certain thing
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: that's gonna happen on the journey, or they can give
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: you a suggestion when you get to that point. Everybody
- 1:34:57Speaker 1: ain't got to be good at everything. Sometimes you have
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: specialty people. It's like, you know, when you're assembling your team,
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: all of your friends ain't the same. Some of your
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: friends you don't have spiritual messages for you. Some of
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: them just have uplifts. Some of them just cool to
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: be around. Some of them do the same things you do.
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: But surround yourself with people who are on the same mission.
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: It will make your journey to the top a lot smooth.
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: It won't make it easy, it will make it smooth. Uh.
