- 0:24Speaker 4: Listening to show, I don't joy ya ya joy.
- 0:59Speaker 2: You gotta do that.
- 1:01Speaker 5: Turn you to turn the mouth turn You probably got
- 1:44Speaker 5: to turn mouth turn out, turn the way the money jack.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Look, come on, come on, you'll think.
- 2:01Speaker 3: Huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody. You're listening to
- 2:06Speaker 3: the voice, Come on, dig me now what it only
- 2:09Speaker 3: Steve Harley got a radio show man instead of trying
- 2:13Speaker 3: to be about the business. To y'all, I'm doing all
- 2:18Speaker 3: I can. But you know what's crazy in the efforts
- 2:22Speaker 3: that I make. I can do more. And my father
- 2:27Speaker 3: used to tell me something when I was growing up.
- 2:29Speaker 3: He says, son, when you've done your best, and you've
- 2:35Speaker 3: done all you can, sit still for a second and
- 2:41Speaker 3: just do a little bit more.
- 2:43Speaker 1: Always remember that, he said.
- 2:45Speaker 3: When you've done the best you can and you can
- 2:47Speaker 3: done all you can think of, he says, sit still
- 2:50Speaker 3: for a minute and do some more. And you know
- 2:53Speaker 3: what I've discovered in my life, always have a little more.
- 2:56Speaker 3: I ain't ever just out out complete. I can't take
- 3:01Speaker 3: another step. There ain't another breath in me. The ain't
- 3:05Speaker 3: another thought I can produce. I'm never completely out, man.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Just take a rest for a minute, man, and then
- 3:13Speaker 3: just do a little bit more. And I can't tell
- 3:16Speaker 3: you how many times that's helped me get over the top.
- 3:21Speaker 3: You know, I was watching a documentary about people climbing
- 3:24Speaker 3: on Mount Everest and how difficult climbing Mount Everest was,
- 3:28Speaker 3: and how they have on the hill something called like
- 3:32Speaker 3: a death zone or a killing zone, where the majority
- 3:35Speaker 3: of people run out of oxygen and they have to
- 3:37Speaker 3: turn back. Well, what's crazy is it's right in view
- 3:43Speaker 3: of the summit. You can actually see the top of
- 3:47Speaker 3: Mount Everest from there, but it's that little bit that's
- 3:51Speaker 3: left that's just most difficult. Now, I forgot all the
- 3:54Speaker 3: reasons why they said most people don't make it from there,
- 3:57Speaker 3: and more people have lost their lives in that area.
- 4:00Speaker 3: I don't know what it is, but the people that
- 4:04Speaker 3: make it to the top of Mount efforts. They all
- 4:08Speaker 3: had to go through that same zone of that same area,
- 4:12Speaker 3: but they had a little bit more that allowed them
- 4:16Speaker 3: to get to the top. You know, a lot of
- 4:18Speaker 3: people have had accidents up there trying that, so I'm
- 4:21Speaker 3: not even really sure if Mount Everest analogy is a
- 4:25Speaker 3: good one. But let's just break it down a little
- 4:28Speaker 3: bit more. Let's just talk about life. There's a poem
- 4:32Speaker 3: I learned back when I host pledging. It's called don't Quit.
- 4:37Speaker 3: It goes like this, if I make a mistake, I'm
- 4:39Speaker 3: just trying to drum it up, So here we go.
- 4:41Speaker 3: It says, when things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
- 4:45Speaker 3: when the road you're trudging seems all uphill, when your
- 4:49Speaker 3: funds are low and your debts are high, when you
- 4:52Speaker 3: want to smile, but you have to sidhe when cares
- 4:57Speaker 3: are pressing you down a bit, rest if you must,
- 5:01Speaker 3: but don't quit, for life is queer with his twisting turns,
- 5:06Speaker 3: as every one of us must sometimes learn. And many
- 5:09Speaker 3: a fellow has turned about when he might have won
- 5:13Speaker 3: had he stuck it out. So don't give up. Though
- 5:17Speaker 3: the pace seems slow, you may succeed with another blow.
- 5:22Speaker 3: Often the gold is nearer than it seems to a
- 5:26Speaker 3: faint and a faltering man. And often the struggler has
- 5:31Speaker 3: given up when he might have captured the victor's cup,
- 5:35Speaker 3: And he learns too late, when the night came down,
- 5:39Speaker 3: how close he was to the golden crown. Success is
- 5:43Speaker 3: failure turned inside out. It's your silver tint of your
- 5:49Speaker 3: clouds of doubt, and you never can tell how close
- 5:53Speaker 3: you are. It may be nil when it seems afar,
- 5:58Speaker 3: So stick to the fight when your hardest hit. It's
- 6:02Speaker 3: when things seem worse that you mustn't quit. I remember
- 6:07Speaker 3: it because I had a special method of helping you
- 6:09Speaker 3: remember stuff back then. But I remembered it, and that
- 6:13Speaker 3: poem right there has kept me. You know, we often
- 6:16Speaker 3: talk about scripture and everything, and then I don't see
- 6:20Speaker 3: how I could live without it. But every now and then, man,
- 6:23Speaker 3: somebody has a writing. God puts a writing on somebody's
- 6:26Speaker 3: heart that delivers a message man that can help people.
- 6:29Speaker 3: I use every motivational tool that I possibly can to
- 6:33Speaker 3: climb this letter of success, or try to be the
- 6:35Speaker 3: best father and the best husband I can be. I've
- 6:37Speaker 3: done a lot of changing over the years, and so
- 6:40Speaker 3: have you. But change is necessary in order to grow.
- 6:43Speaker 3: If you don't make changes, folks, you can't grow. I
- 6:46Speaker 3: was a young man on my set. I kept looking
- 6:50Speaker 3: at him, and a sharp little young dude just on
- 6:52Speaker 3: my set, and he had these dreads, and I mean
- 6:57Speaker 3: they was super long, man, they will well below the
- 7:02Speaker 3: middle of his back. I mean, it was just long.
- 7:04Speaker 3: And he kept talking to me, and he kept talking
- 7:06Speaker 3: to me and talking to me. So young man kept
- 7:09Speaker 3: talking to me, and I said, hey, man, you know
- 7:11Speaker 3: you do a huge self a favor in the business
- 7:14Speaker 3: you're in. If you got a haircut, you would do
- 7:16Speaker 3: yourself a huge favor. I said, your image is everything. Man,
- 7:20Speaker 3: I said, you keep stopping me in the hallway to
- 7:21Speaker 3: try to tell me what you're doing, what you are,
- 7:24Speaker 3: but all I see is your hair. Now, I keep
- 7:26Speaker 3: trying to figure out what you're doing with all that hair. Man,
- 7:29Speaker 3: Now you can feel how you want to feel. But
- 7:31Speaker 3: I'm like an employer. I employed people. So when I'm
- 7:36Speaker 3: walking through the hallway and I try to think of
- 7:38Speaker 3: you traveling with me and you sitting in a meeting
- 7:40Speaker 3: with me, I try to imagine you and your suits
- 7:43Speaker 3: sitting there talking business with me. And so, just like
- 7:46Speaker 3: other employers are, I'm just having a real story with you.
- 7:50Speaker 3: So I said, man, you ought to consider cutting your hair.
- 7:53Speaker 3: He said, Man, mister hobb, I've been growing his hair
- 7:56Speaker 3: since I was a little boy. I said, how old
- 7:58Speaker 3: are you now? He said, twenty eight. I said, well,
- 8:01Speaker 3: how long you want to hang on to what you
- 8:03Speaker 3: was when you was a little boy? You know, if
- 8:05Speaker 3: you started growing your hair when you're a teenager. I mean,
- 8:07Speaker 3: you're twenty eight now. And I said, so, let me
- 8:10Speaker 3: help you understand something. Let me ask you something. What
- 8:13Speaker 3: does it do for you? He said, Man, it's just
- 8:16Speaker 3: who I am. It's I said, so you your hair? He
- 8:21Speaker 3: said no, no, but it's a part of me. I say,
- 8:25Speaker 3: that part of you that you're hanging on to. What
- 8:27Speaker 3: does it do for you?
- 8:29Speaker 1: I just like it? Well, dog, I like ice cream,
- 8:33Speaker 1: but I feed that.
- 8:34Speaker 3: But if I hang on the ice cream and eat
- 8:36Speaker 3: ice cream every single day, my body gonna reflect that.
- 8:40Speaker 3: What is it that you hanging on to that you
- 8:43Speaker 3: don't want to let go of? That's prohibiting you from
- 8:45Speaker 3: being what all you can be? See, it's hard to
- 8:48Speaker 3: be what all you can be if you want to
- 8:50Speaker 3: keep being all you was? Don't that make sense to you?
- 8:55Speaker 3: So I can't tell you how many times I've had
- 8:57Speaker 3: to change. Change is necessary to grow. You can't be
- 9:03Speaker 3: all you can be if you want to keep hanging
- 9:07Speaker 3: on to all you was.
- 9:09Speaker 1: That don't make no sense. How do you go forward.
- 9:13Speaker 3: If you keep going backwards, you can't stay here and
- 9:17Speaker 3: go there. Do you understand that if you want to
- 9:21Speaker 3: go over there, you must remove yourself from right here?
- 9:26Speaker 3: Oh I got right here is comfortable, I got right
- 9:29Speaker 3: here is safe. But over there's where the shade is.
- 9:33Speaker 1: Over. There's where the fruit is.
- 9:36Speaker 3: Over there is where the opportunity is over there is
- 9:40Speaker 3: where the mountain of goal is.
- 9:42Speaker 1: So why you stuck on here? You got to leave
- 9:46Speaker 1: here to go over there.
- 9:48Speaker 3: You can't be all you can be if you want
- 9:51Speaker 3: to stay stuck on who you was.
- 9:53Speaker 6: Change is growth is necessary. All let's go.
- 9:59Speaker 1: Show, ladies and gentlemen. I know you thought a song
- 10:05Speaker 1: would follow, but I decided no, And then again I
- 10:10Speaker 1: changed my mind.
- 10:11Speaker 3: When you think of love, gotta get it on your mind.
- 10:18Speaker 3: Come on, when you think of love, gotta get it
- 10:22Speaker 3: on in your mind. When you think of love.
- 10:27Speaker 1: God it, get it on your mind.
- 10:39Speaker 3: Come on, now, what did I would do it up
- 10:42Speaker 3: in here and like that? See how it was a
- 10:46Speaker 3: fake move. It was kind of count off. Then said
- 10:48Speaker 3: I wasn't gonna do it, did jump right back into it.
- 10:51Speaker 3: I just thought of that, That's all it was. It's
- 10:54Speaker 3: like that in the words it said you entertained. It's
- 10:56Speaker 3: just magic.
- 10:58Speaker 7: Good man, Good morning, Steve Harvey.

- 12:06Speaker 10: Man.
- 12:09Speaker 1: But yeah, what are you feeling?
- 12:12Speaker 7: All right?
- 12:12Speaker 3: Though always you know, it's another exciting day, another opportunity
- 12:16Speaker 3: God has given me.
- 12:17Speaker 1: I want to take full advantage of it.
- 12:18Speaker 3: I want to do the things is I can do
- 12:22Speaker 3: to progress myself forward and do some things that maybe
- 12:28Speaker 3: can help out in the future. Not worrying about the future,
- 12:32Speaker 3: not concerning myself with anything that's about to happen, but
- 12:36Speaker 3: preparing to receive God's blessings, preparing to receive his unmerited
- 12:44Speaker 3: favor and any grace that would be shared, shared or
- 12:49Speaker 3: headed my way.
- 12:50Speaker 1: I'm just open to it.
- 12:52Speaker 10: You know.
- 12:52Speaker 3: I've just decided I stopped worrying, and it has changed
- 12:57Speaker 3: my life.
- 12:57Speaker 10: Man.
- 12:58Speaker 3: When I stopped worrying, because nothing I used to worry
- 13:02Speaker 3: about could I control, right, and I stopped worrying. God
- 13:09Speaker 3: is going to take care of me as he always
- 13:13Speaker 3: so wonderfully has done, Matthew.
- 13:16Speaker 1: And I see no reason why he would not continue.
- 13:20Speaker 3: If he's not going to continue to take care of me,
- 13:22Speaker 3: I'm not gonna wake up, but I'm here not.
- 13:26Speaker 11: No, all, he didn't done for you that he ain't
- 13:30Speaker 11: pulling out, that's for sure.
- 13:32Speaker 7: All right, thank you for that. Steve.
- 13:35Speaker 8: Coming up in thirty two minutes after the hour, we'll
- 13:37Speaker 8: hear from a nephew as he runs that prank back.
- 13:40Speaker 7: Right after this.

- 21:24Speaker 8: had a private duty nurse that is staying with him,
- 21:27Speaker 8: and his insurance provided it. After his surgery, I tried
- 21:31Speaker 8: to visit him in the hospital and I was told
- 21:33Speaker 8: he could only have one visitor at a time and
- 21:36Speaker 8: his girlfriend is staying with him.
- 21:39Speaker 7: I was so mad and hurt. Do I let him

- 22:07Speaker 3: He can't do nothing nowhere, probably ain't gonna be able
- 22:10Speaker 3: to work for a while.
- 22:11Speaker 11: We're just going about your business. Oh okay, Yeah, he
- 22:17Speaker 11: don't sound like he thirty. He don't sound like he
- 22:18Speaker 11: thirty something though. He really don't sound like that. Why

- 22:42Speaker 8: a senior living apartment building, and I got a call
- 22:44Speaker 8: from the administrator to let me know that my mother
- 22:47Speaker 8: is seeing a married man and his wife has threatened
- 22:51Speaker 8: my mother. I called my mother to see what was
- 22:53Speaker 8: going on, and she said that the man comes to
- 22:56Speaker 8: see her, not the other way around.
- 22:58Speaker 7: So I need to talk to him, she said.
- 23:01Speaker 8: The man shows her, So it is what it is.

- 36:01Speaker 3: be just slumped down and beat and fell out this
- 36:03Speaker 3: damn chair, slide out on the floor.
- 36:08Speaker 8: All right, So would you rather walk barefoot in a
- 36:10Speaker 8: public restroom restroom?

- 36:42Speaker 10: Your feet.
- 36:45Speaker 11: I need to cross the burning sands again, all right.
- 36:55Speaker 8: I think we have three for food poisoning on that one.
- 36:57Speaker 8: If you're keeping scorch All right? Would you rather save
- 37:01Speaker 8: the world but die as a hero in the process,
- 37:04Speaker 8: or save the world but no one knows?
- 37:08Speaker 11: Man blank this world? What is you talking about? I'm
- 37:10Speaker 11: telling them to save it and then die? Why would
- 37:13Speaker 11: I do that?
- 37:16Speaker 3: I'd rather just be here and see where the hell
- 37:18Speaker 3: gonna happen? Me, y'all, I ain't never asked me no hero,
- 37:26Speaker 3: no damn way. I just want to be the survivor.
- 37:31Speaker 7: Wind it in die.
- 37:34Speaker 1: Last one?
- 37:35Speaker 8: Would you rather scream at each other? Or would you
- 37:37Speaker 8: rather give each other the silent treatment?
- 37:40Speaker 1: Give each other?
- 37:41Speaker 7: What the silent treatment?
- 37:44Speaker 1: Oh? Really, I take the side.
- 37:46Speaker 11: Of the treatment.

- 38:11Speaker 7: Let's go.
- 38:12Speaker 1: What you got?
- 38:12Speaker 7: These are the subjects? Number one? Ice cream?
- 38:16Speaker 8: Number two old music, Yeah I know all right? Number
- 38:24Speaker 8: three how to protect the food in the fridge. That's
- 38:28Speaker 8: a pretty good number four. I'm not the bank. Yeah, okay,
- 38:35Speaker 8: number five. Sometimes I feel like slapping the mess out.
- 38:43Speaker 7: Come on, God, let's come on slapping, slap and slapping,
- 38:52Speaker 7: slapping a mess out of you.
- 38:56Speaker 8: Okay, How to protect the food in the fridge.
- 38:59Speaker 7: You'll so people don't steal it? Uh huh?
- 39:02Speaker 2: Easy.
- 39:03Speaker 14: The first one is you pick your teeth to they
- 39:06Speaker 14: start bleeding, right, and then you bite your sandwich and
- 39:09Speaker 14: wrap that and sell a thing and shove that back
- 39:12Speaker 14: in there. I'll be damn anybody. Your teeth real good
- 39:20Speaker 14: to the bleeding right. Just bite your sandwich, wrap that,
- 39:27Speaker 14: sell a pails if it don't be there when.
- 39:29Speaker 8: You get okay, go ahead, come on, junior, what you
- 39:34Speaker 8: got or.
- 39:35Speaker 9: First of all, who fridge we talked about?
- 39:37Speaker 12: That's nothing in masks.
- 39:41Speaker 9: It's very easy to take my free I ain't got
- 39:44Speaker 9: nothing in The better subject would have been how to
- 39:46Speaker 9: put food into free.
- 39:50Speaker 1: Tell me what you man when you really want to
- 39:53Speaker 1: protect something? What I would do?
- 39:56Speaker 11: Okay, get a zip lock, babe. Okay, h and right,
- 40:01Speaker 11: let's see what we are when we in seventeen put
- 40:03Speaker 11: one ones on that January fir and h what and
- 40:09Speaker 11: being right? Chitlings on the zip lock. You don't don't
- 40:15Speaker 11: throw away I promise you ain't nobody bother that's the caper.
- 40:20Speaker 7: Yeah, come on, Steve.
- 40:23Speaker 3: The best way to protect your sandwich at work is
- 40:26Speaker 3: to put in and sell a fame and then duct
- 40:29Speaker 3: tape so.
- 40:32Speaker 1: They don't even know what it is. Take the whole sale.
- 40:38Speaker 1: How you gonna.
- 40:44Speaker 3: You just look just a brick or duct tapeing. There
- 40:47Speaker 3: ain't nobody gonna open up that damn duck.
- 40:50Speaker 8: Duck tapes up with everything, but not food.
- 40:55Speaker 14: That's a protective Yeah, how.
- 40:59Speaker 1: To protect them food in the French jay?
- 41:01Speaker 14: Oh, the best way to do it is you can
- 41:03Speaker 14: put it way inside and put it inside. You smash
- 41:06Speaker 14: it up. You take your sandwich and you ball it
- 41:09Speaker 14: up real tight as small as you can make it,
- 41:12Speaker 14: and put it and wrap it in celibate and then
- 41:14Speaker 14: stick that inside the bacon soda box. Put it inside
- 41:18Speaker 14: on the bacon sandwich, up the sandwich. That's what I'm
- 41:24Speaker 14: talking about, and then it will be that when you
- 41:27Speaker 14: get hold.
- 41:28Speaker 9: And protect protected. What's again, I'll tell you what way
- 41:33Speaker 9: we're gonna do it. Go buy the dog shelter. Get
- 41:37Speaker 9: an unhappy pit bull when they open that door.
- 41:51Speaker 1: On the inside.
- 41:53Speaker 14: Just turn the temperature dune just a little bit so
- 41:56Speaker 14: he can survive.
- 41:59Speaker 5: In the fridge.
- 42:02Speaker 10: And break.
- 42:03Speaker 9: They've been walking in there gracefully because they've been eating
- 42:05Speaker 9: stuff every day.
- 42:06Speaker 11: Just don't halt that walk, okay, Julia Dounia. I got
- 42:11Speaker 11: to get back this one. Go carry because I've done
- 42:13Speaker 11: this one before. My dog name is Chappel. I put
- 42:16Speaker 11: it in a zip locked bag and put chop with
- 42:19Speaker 11: sweet treats on there and put it backside on me
- 42:23Speaker 11: case my son Jordan, and put some um chopper sweet
- 42:27Speaker 11: treats in there and got it all computed.
- 42:31Speaker 1: I got one right. You ready come put your whole
- 42:36Speaker 1: lunch in a pample.
- 42:44Speaker 2: Well, be back.
- 42:47Speaker 7: You're listening morning show.
- 42:51Speaker 8: Coming up at the top of the hour, right about
- 42:53Speaker 8: four minutes after. It's my strawberry letter for today, the
- 42:56Speaker 8: subject do you have to watch the babysitter.
- 43:01Speaker 7: We'll get into that in just a little bit.
- 43:03Speaker 8: Uh huh, But right now the nephew is in the
- 43:05Speaker 8: building with today's frank phone call, which you got for
- 43:08Speaker 8: us nast Well.
- 43:10Speaker 11: You know, when you don't pay your bills, things get repossessed.
- 43:14Speaker 11: We've had it happen to us. Well, we're gonna take
- 43:16Speaker 11: it to the church this time. Repole the pew, repoll. Hey, hey,
- 43:23Speaker 11: if you ain't paid up, call we got them. Maybe
- 43:26Speaker 11: you're gonna have to stand repoll the pew cat dog
- 43:32Speaker 11: if you would.
- 43:35Speaker 10: So, I'm trying to reach a pastor, Pastor Wilkins.
- 43:38Speaker 15: Yeah, this is reverend doctor Wilkins.
- 43:40Speaker 10: Are you're the you're the pastor of Factors Church? Am
- 43:43Speaker 10: I right?
- 43:44Speaker 15: Mathter Church? That's correct?
- 43:46Speaker 10: He Okay, listen, my name is Daniel, and I'm calling
- 43:50Speaker 10: from a RCS which is a church supply, and we
- 43:54Speaker 10: have an outstanding bill here that we wanted to bring
- 43:57Speaker 10: to you all's attention for like twenty three thousand dollars
- 44:01Speaker 10: for your pews that has not been paid. So we
- 44:04Speaker 10: wanted to see.
- 44:06Speaker 15: Or not to cut you off.
- 44:09Speaker 12: Yeah, yeah, Daniel RCSH.
- 44:12Speaker 10: Church Supply, Sir, that's this is exactly what you guys
- 44:15Speaker 10: got your pews.
- 44:16Speaker 15: Okay, our standing bill for twenty three times Well, first
- 44:20Speaker 15: of all, that's normally all our standing bills are handled
- 44:24Speaker 15: by our finance department. You know, you would need to
- 44:27Speaker 15: speak to our treasurer and they will be able to
- 44:29Speaker 15: help you with that.
- 44:30Speaker 10: Evidently heard that this hasn't been taken care of in
- 44:33Speaker 10: this matter when it comes to these pews, because like
- 44:35Speaker 10: I stayed it before, you guys owed twenty three thousand
- 44:38Speaker 10: dollars on these pews, and I think this was probably
- 44:40Speaker 10: twelve to thirteen years ago, so maybe this was something
- 44:43Speaker 10: before you got there. But nevertheless, there's still an outstanding
- 44:47Speaker 10: billing right now. We're actually going to be repossessing these
- 44:50Speaker 10: pews as of early seven o'clock Sunday morning.
- 44:55Speaker 15: Not far this Sunday morning. No, we have the Women
- 44:59Speaker 15: Day's Missionary is here today and also Sunday we have
- 45:02Speaker 15: like our tea and then you have a lot.
- 45:06Speaker 10: Of things and you actually run it off your schedule.
- 45:08Speaker 10: To me, that's that's really not my concern. And maybe
- 45:11Speaker 10: you're Women's Day or whatever is gonna y'all gonna do
- 45:14Speaker 10: a standing up because.
- 45:15Speaker 15: Right now we're not going to do it. You know,
- 45:17Speaker 15: understanding me. See did you say twelve or thirteen years ago? Sure,
- 45:21Speaker 15: well I've been the past every ten years and you know,
- 45:24Speaker 15: you know, like.
- 45:27Speaker 10: Occurred before you got there. But nevertheless, the bill is
- 45:31Speaker 10: still outstanding, and these cues need to be taken care of. Now,
- 45:34Speaker 10: if y'all don't have the twenty three thousand dollars, then
- 45:37Speaker 10: I got to come pick these cues up Sunday morning.
- 45:39Speaker 12: Sir, we're gonna well, I'll go over there.
- 45:42Speaker 15: You're not hearing me. And first of all, this is
- 45:43Speaker 15: my private number. How did you get this number?
- 45:46Speaker 10: Your your numbers here in the books as a contact?
- 45:48Speaker 15: No, this is this is I only get us out
- 45:51Speaker 15: to very few people, and I know none of them
- 45:53Speaker 15: will will give our numbers. So that's definisue right there.
- 45:56Speaker 15: And second of all, if you're talking about coming in
- 45:58Speaker 15: our church signd the money to take our pews, that's
- 46:02Speaker 15: not something you really want to do, Sir.
- 46:04Speaker 10: I have to do my job the same way you
- 46:06Speaker 10: get up on Sunday morning and you have to do yours.
- 46:08Speaker 10: I have to do mine. So my job is to
- 46:11Speaker 10: get these fews back, because you guys are twenty three
- 46:13Speaker 10: thousand dollars in the riars.
- 46:14Speaker 15: No, kyl, let me tell you, I ain't always been
- 46:17Speaker 15: being a preacher. Now you come to my church and
- 46:20Speaker 15: you test them pews, I'm gonna come out that proof here,
- 46:22Speaker 15: don't you.
- 46:23Speaker 10: I'm not here to go to what you used to
- 46:27Speaker 10: be and what you are now, I'm nothing to go
- 46:29Speaker 10: back and forth with you on that.
- 46:30Speaker 15: The bottom line of the consequention. You don't want to
- 46:33Speaker 15: deal with Sign because you know I, oh, hold on,
- 46:36Speaker 15: hold on, man, hold on, let me calm down, because
- 46:39Speaker 15: you know you not to make me say some words
- 46:40Speaker 15: that I've been delivered from.
- 46:41Speaker 10: Thank God, I'm going to deliver them pews away from
- 46:46Speaker 10: you on Sunday now, I got to come and pick
- 46:48Speaker 10: them pews up. That's the bottom line. Do you have
- 46:51Speaker 10: twenty three thousand Sunday morning?
- 46:53Speaker 15: Twenty three thousands? I understand that's not the issue. The
- 46:56Speaker 15: issue is you have no business calling me on my
- 46:58Speaker 15: personal phone, my METI cration time right now, trying to
- 47:02Speaker 15: get consecrated for you know, my Mexican after deliver lady
- 47:05Speaker 15: this afternoon. So we need all of our pumors.
- 47:08Speaker 10: Okay, well let me ask you something such. Do you
- 47:10Speaker 10: have the twenty three thousand dollars that you can give
- 47:13Speaker 10: me Sunday morning and then you can continue whatever it
- 47:15Speaker 10: is you have going on that day Other than that,
- 47:18Speaker 10: I'm gonna have to take them culls.
- 47:20Speaker 15: I got to tell me between dollars. If you're not listening, Sign,
- 47:23Speaker 15: that ain't my bill. I ain't paying it. You ain't
- 47:26Speaker 15: touching my cues.
- 47:29Speaker 10: I'm not gonna continue to go. Okay, listen, I'm trying
- 47:32Speaker 10: to respect what's pastor will trying to respect you.
- 47:35Speaker 15: First remend, doctor Wilkins. I appreciate it. You call me
- 47:39Speaker 15: in my name, Reverend doctor Wilkins.
- 47:41Speaker 10: Okay, Reverend doctor Wilkins. Now, first of all, I'm coming
- 47:46Speaker 10: up there Sunday. Now, I'm hoping I only have to
- 47:49Speaker 10: lay hands on these pews. Now I gotta lay hands
- 47:51Speaker 10: on something else. Then I got to do what I
- 47:53Speaker 10: got to do.
- 47:54Speaker 15: After you can come on up here and you set
- 47:57Speaker 15: it on the property. That's cool, but you touch them pills.
- 48:00Speaker 15: I got some lawyers in here. They can take that
- 48:01Speaker 15: Jesus coade off. They can stay down. They can get
- 48:04Speaker 15: with you, Pardner. You I'm staying. You know what they
- 48:08Speaker 15: they do. I walk through the valley shadow of Death.
- 48:10Speaker 15: I will seeing no evil. I ain't got no problem.
- 48:13Speaker 10: Wait wait wait wait wait wait.
- 48:15Speaker 15: Wait wait wait, you talking about coming to me and
- 48:17Speaker 15: to my church.
- 48:19Speaker 10: I'm gonna do what I got to do. Many do what.
- 48:23Speaker 15: I gotta do in the name of Jesus.
- 48:25Speaker 10: Right man, man, stand up, the whole service. Now, what
- 48:30Speaker 10: which one do you want?
- 48:32Speaker 15: You want to have it?
- 48:33Speaker 10: I got I got something else I want to tell
- 48:35Speaker 10: you. You listen to me, past you.
- 48:36Speaker 15: Listening if you ain't saying nothing?
- 48:38Speaker 10: Sign is you listening to.
- 48:40Speaker 15: Say to me?
- 48:41Speaker 10: I've got to say this to you. His nephew Tommy
- 48:44Speaker 10: from the Steve Hobby Morning Show. You just got pranked
- 48:47Speaker 10: by your entire deacon boy. Who Man, Well, because this
- 48:56Speaker 10: is nephew Tommy Man from the Steve Hobby Morning Show.
- 48:59Speaker 10: You're deacon boy got me the prank phone call you boy.
- 49:03Speaker 10: I can't believe this.
- 49:04Speaker 15: Boy, you almost made me a little my religion.
- 49:05Speaker 10: Sign in there, man, you hung in there?
- 49:09Speaker 12: Pastor, which one of them.
- 49:10Speaker 10: Ones a deacon Glover?
- 49:13Speaker 15: Okay, okay, okay, I've got some things I got to
- 49:17Speaker 15: talk to good level about. You know, I would wonder
- 49:19Speaker 15: how you got to person my cell phone out anyway?
- 49:21Speaker 12: Man, So well, I'm glad.
- 49:23Speaker 10: I've been able to put a laugh on your face today.
- 49:26Speaker 15: Man, I'm here to walk.
- 49:29Speaker 10: I gotta ask you, man, pastor, what is the baddest
- 49:32Speaker 10: radio show in the land?

- 52:14Speaker 8: Dear Stephen Shirley, I need your advice on an issue
- 52:17Speaker 8: with my husband. We've been married almost two years and
- 52:20Speaker 8: we are parents of a seven month old baby girl.
- 52:23Speaker 8: I'm a nurse and I work nights seven pm until
- 52:26Speaker 8: three am. My husband is an optometrist and he has
- 52:29Speaker 8: a licensing exam in Maine. Last month he had one,
- 52:33Speaker 8: so he had to be gone for five days. I
- 52:36Speaker 8: suggested my friend's best my friend my best friend's sister
- 52:39Speaker 8: babysit while I was at work. She's twenty five now
- 52:43Speaker 8: and I've known her since she was in third grade.
- 52:46Speaker 8: I let her know that we have baby monitors all
- 52:48Speaker 8: over the house and there's a ring camera in the
- 52:51Speaker 8: baby's room. Things went well the first two nights with
- 52:55Speaker 8: her and the baby, and on the third night, I
- 52:57Speaker 8: logged onto the video and I saw my baby asleep
- 53:00Speaker 8: in her crib, but I heard loud noises sounding like
- 53:04Speaker 8: wild and crazy sex. I called the house and she
- 53:08Speaker 8: didn't answer. My husband called me and said he heard
- 53:11Speaker 8: the same thing, but we couldn't see anything on the camera.
- 53:15Speaker 8: When I got home later that night, everything was in order,
- 53:19Speaker 8: but I was giving her the side eye. I decided
- 53:22Speaker 8: to take our extra ring camera out of our closet
- 53:25Speaker 8: and hide it in the den on a shelf.
- 53:28Speaker 7: Stephen Shirley.
- 53:29Speaker 8: I logged on the next night and got a full
- 53:33Speaker 8: porn show. She had some random guy in my house
- 53:37Speaker 8: and they were stark naked and going at it in
- 53:40Speaker 8: the middle of my den. I called my husband but
- 53:44Speaker 8: couldn't reach him. I didn't say a word to the
- 53:46Speaker 8: girl about what I saw. I took off work the
- 53:49Speaker 8: next night and let her know I didn't need her anymore.
- 53:53Speaker 8: When I told my husband about it, he seemed shocked.
- 53:57Speaker 8: But then a few days later I caught him in
- 53:59Speaker 8: his man cave watching the video. He tried to stop
- 54:04Speaker 8: it real quick, but I saw it. Should I be
- 54:07Speaker 8: worried that he lied and said he didn't see it?
- 54:11Speaker 8: Should I watch the babysitter please advise?
- 54:14Speaker 7: Yes?
- 54:15Speaker 8: Of course, you don't have to watch the babysitter anymore
- 54:18Speaker 8: because you fired her. Remember, but you know everybody's lying.
- 54:24Speaker 8: Your husband's for sure lying, and sure if you know,
- 54:28Speaker 8: if the babysitter comes.
- 54:29Speaker 7: Back, watch her. The receipt is a tape. You have that.
- 54:32Speaker 8: I say, believe what your eyes and your ears tell
- 54:35Speaker 8: you and not anything else. And of course your husband
- 54:38Speaker 8: saw it. You caught him watching it. He tried to
- 54:41Speaker 8: stop it. I mean, I just think it's real suspicious.
- 54:47Speaker 8: You know, everything that's going on. For the first two nights,
- 54:50Speaker 8: everything was cool. You heard all this loud noise and everything.
- 54:54Speaker 8: You put the other ring camera in there. I mean,
- 54:57Speaker 8: just after two nights she brings some random guy in in.
- 55:01Speaker 8: You know, I think you did the right thing by
- 55:03Speaker 8: firing this girl, but you should have told her why,
- 55:07Speaker 8: although I'm sure she knows. At this point, I say,
- 55:10Speaker 8: you do need a babysitter for when you're working nights
- 55:13Speaker 8: and your husband's not home, just in case he has
- 55:15Speaker 8: to leave too. But you just need to get one
- 55:18Speaker 8: that's more like Missus Doubtfire. You know the movie Missus Doubtfire.
- 55:21Speaker 8: Robin Williams play that role, you know, not someone so
- 55:26Speaker 8: young and sexy, you know, to tempt your husband and
- 55:28Speaker 8: want him to watch the videos and all of that. So,
- 55:31Speaker 8: I mean, I think this is kind of an easy fix.
- 55:34Speaker 8: If you do need a babysitter. But yeah, you need
- 55:36Speaker 8: to watch everybody, the babysitter, your husband, what he's watching,
- 55:41Speaker 8: the random guy coming to your house, all of this.
- 55:44Speaker 8: Just be aware of what's going on in your house.
- 55:46Speaker 8: Set cameras up everywhere, Steve.
- 55:49Speaker 6: Should where's she going to find though? Man? Dress up
- 55:52Speaker 6: like a woman?
- 55:53Speaker 10: That do?
- 55:54Speaker 5: Huh?
- 55:55Speaker 1: Well?
- 55:55Speaker 6: Is she gonna find a man that's dressed up like
- 55:58Speaker 6: a woman?
- 55:58Speaker 8: Dove fire, something like a missus dooubtfire?
- 56:03Speaker 3: Oh okay, you have to watch the tune then, all right,
- 56:08Speaker 3: well here you have to watch the babysitter.
- 56:11Speaker 1: Lady.
- 56:11Speaker 3: I'm you know your letter, you know the advice on
- 56:17Speaker 3: an issue with my husband, your husband. Wait a minute,
- 56:21Speaker 3: this whole letter ain't really got nothing to do with
- 56:24Speaker 3: your husband. So your whole letter you got deeper, You
- 56:31Speaker 3: got deeper issues going on here.
- 56:34Speaker 1: I need advice on the issue with my husband.
- 56:36Speaker 15: Now.
- 56:36Speaker 3: When you said that before I heard the letter, we
- 56:39Speaker 3: got to watch a babysitter. Course, I'm thinking him and
- 56:43Speaker 3: the babysity got something going on, That's what I'm thinking. Well,
- 56:46Speaker 3: the letter unfolds. You got a seven month old, beautiful
- 56:49Speaker 3: little girl. You a nurse, you work nights seven pm
- 56:52Speaker 3: to three am. Your husband's optometrist. He has a licensing
- 56:56Speaker 3: exam in Main last month, so he was gone for
- 56:59Speaker 3: five days. Y'all went and got this babysitter. She twenty five.
- 57:03Speaker 3: You known her since she was in.
- 57:04Speaker 1: The third grade, but she grown now, all right.
- 57:07Speaker 3: I let her know that we have monitors all over
- 57:10Speaker 3: the house, and that's your problem. You told her exactly
- 57:12Speaker 3: where you had the monitors. Now she know where it
- 57:16Speaker 3: ain't no monitors. Things went well the first two nights.
- 57:19Speaker 3: Or hearing the baby. On the third night, I logged
- 57:22Speaker 3: in on the video and I saw my baby sleep
- 57:24Speaker 3: in the crib and I heard loud noise that sounded like.
- 57:26Speaker 1: Just wi crazy sick. I call the house. She ain't answered. Well,
- 57:31Speaker 1: she was a wild crazy sack.
- 57:32Speaker 3: It's hard to talk on the phone when you having
- 57:35Speaker 3: wild crazy sex.
- 57:36Speaker 1: I'd have tried it before. It is really hard. I'm
- 57:38Speaker 1: telling you know.
- 57:39Speaker 3: I had a picture coming to the door one time
- 57:41Speaker 3: and I was having some wild and crazy six.
- 57:43Speaker 1: I had a picture with cold as Hall.
- 57:45Speaker 3: By the time I got downstairs, you catch it hard
- 57:48Speaker 3: to stop wow crazy six.
- 57:51Speaker 1: Somebody called the damn phone. I don't give together.
- 57:54Speaker 3: I was watching the game one time, start having some
- 57:56Speaker 3: wild and crazy six when.
- 57:58Speaker 1: I woke up, I don't even know who won.
- 58:01Speaker 3: Wiley gotta be in here when you have a wild
- 58:04Speaker 3: and crazy sex. Why did you call the house? She's
- 58:08Speaker 3: not fit to answer. We come back, I tell you
- 58:13Speaker 3: the rest of what happened. It really ain't nothing to
- 58:15Speaker 3: this letter. I don't even what she's saying. She got
- 58:17Speaker 3: an issue with her husband, because right now it's just
- 58:21Speaker 3: wild and crazy ass sex having me in your house
- 58:23Speaker 3: right now, that's all I'm just saying.
- 58:25Speaker 8: All right, crazy, We'll have part two of your response
- 58:29Speaker 8: coming up to the Strawberry letter, the subject you have
- 58:32Speaker 8: to watch the babysitter.
- 58:33Speaker 7: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening
- 58:37Speaker 7: Morning show, All right.
- 58:39Speaker 8: Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry Letters, subject you
- 58:42Speaker 8: have to watch the babysitter.
- 58:45Speaker 3: But then the first line is I need advice on
- 58:48Speaker 3: an issue with my husband. And I don't see why
- 58:51Speaker 3: you do, lady, And now I'm gonna try to get
- 58:53Speaker 3: to it. You and Nursey work nights, and your husband
- 58:55Speaker 3: had an exam to go to. Here I'm trauma to
- 58:57Speaker 3: so you hire a babysity you've known since the third grade.
- 59:01Speaker 1: She twenty five. Now you told her you had the.
- 59:04Speaker 3: Cameras all over the house and baby monitors, and so
- 59:07Speaker 3: she knew where the cameras was.
- 59:08Speaker 1: Well you, things went well the first two nights.
- 59:11Speaker 3: And on the third night I logged in on the
- 59:13Speaker 3: video and I saw your baby sleep in the crib. Well,
- 59:15Speaker 3: your baby safe, that's what you hid. The babysit the phone,
- 59:19Speaker 3: the baby in the crib sleep, The baby sit of
- 59:22Speaker 3: doing her job. But you heard some loud noise sounded
- 59:26Speaker 3: like wild and crazy. Say, well the baby sleep. Now
- 59:31Speaker 3: you have wild and crazy sex and baby being a
- 59:33Speaker 3: crib around the corner, cause they sleep through all kinds stuff,
- 59:36Speaker 3: fire trucks.
- 59:37Speaker 1: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa whoa.
- 59:39Speaker 3: Police everything, helicopters. They don't hear the baby just be sleeping.
- 59:44Speaker 3: I call the house and she didn't anounce her. Now,
- 59:46Speaker 3: I told you, crazy, befo. When people having wild and
- 59:51Speaker 3: crazy sex, ain't no need you're calling down now? Ain't
- 59:55Speaker 3: nobody got time to answer this phone. Now you think
- 59:58Speaker 3: that baby wouldn't hit that wild and cres I have
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: the problem. I promise you that little girl ain't hear
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: that damn phone ring because you got other things to
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: do when you having wild and crazy sex. You trying
- 1:00:08Speaker 3: to get your foot up off off that TV. You
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: got your got your knee on the back of your
- 1:00:13Speaker 3: husband lounge chair. You have wild and crazy sex. You
- 1:00:16Speaker 3: probably ain't even hear the damn phone, right, I'm just
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: gonna beat there. Some people probably rain dobell. She ain't
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: hear that either. I'm just saying that's how wild and
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: crazy it is when you having wild, crazy sex. Well,
- 1:00:26Speaker 3: you got to pay attention wild crazy set. She and
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: there got one hand hanging on your drapes, trying not
- 1:00:31Speaker 3: to tell these drapes down. And she got the other
- 1:00:33Speaker 3: foot on top of the flow model TV because y'all old,
- 1:00:36Speaker 3: y'all doctors, and y'all ain't updated to TV. So y'all
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: got a flow model. She got foot on top of
- 1:00:42Speaker 3: that console. And it's just just wild crazy sex, right, don'kay.
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: I called the house, she didn't answer. Your husband called
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: me and said he heard the same thing, but we
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: couldn't see anything on the camera. I got home, lady
- 1:00:54Speaker 3: that night, everything was in order. I was giving her
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: the side out, though. I decided to take out our
- 1:00:59Speaker 3: extra camera out of our closet, hide it in the
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: den on the sholf Steve and Shirley. I logged in
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: on the next night and got a full pawn show. Yes, lord,
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: what'd you think? That's why you set that camera up.
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: You already know they had wild and crazy sex. And
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: the name of the pawn movie you was watching with
- 1:01:24Speaker 3: babysit have gone crazy. She just in there and now
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: she come talking about she had some random guy in
- 1:01:31Speaker 3: the house.
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: She had no random guy in the house. The same
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: dude was over there last night.
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: You just didn't have the video. This ain't no random guy.
- 1:01:40Speaker 3: This the guy that had a wild and crazy sex.
- 1:01:44Speaker 3: Random guy could be just anybody. Everybody can't have wild
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: and crazy sex. I got a couple of friends can't
- 1:01:50Speaker 3: do that. They two square, you know, they got a
- 1:01:52Speaker 3: little You know, they do different type of work. You
- 1:01:54Speaker 3: know they work at the government. They don't do wild
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: crazy sex. You got to be KB just ran them
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: to do wild crazy sex. You got particular kind of Tommy,
- 1:02:05Speaker 3: my nephew, he do wild crazy sex, crazy like that.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: He all that that. He ignored me junior. I don't
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: really think juniors do wild crazy sex. I don't really know.
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: But he might, but he got sick, saying, so, I
- 1:02:19Speaker 3: don't know if he's right. Probably, but he probably ain't
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: trying to have no crisis or nothing. He probably just
- 1:02:25Speaker 3: had a regular, good old sex.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: But I don't know if he ain't gonna have no
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: wild crazy say, cause he won't have no damn crisis.
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: I can't get dehydrated. I don't know that.
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: Yeah, he can't get dehydrated. And it's hard to have
- 1:02:36Speaker 3: wild crazy sense.
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: And be drinking the old damn town so that I
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: don't know.
- 1:02:42Speaker 3: So and uh, and they had a random guy in
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: the house.
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: They would stark naked, going all that.
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: And in the middle of my den, I called my husband,
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: but I couldn't reach him.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: What reads you couldn't reach him because your husband, Well,
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: we're gonna leave that long.
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: I didn't say a word to the girl about what
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: I saw, took off work the next night and let
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: her know I didn't need her anymore. When I told
- 1:03:04Speaker 3: my husband about it, he seemed shop what. But then
- 1:03:10Speaker 3: a few days later I caught him in his man
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: cave watching the video. He tried to stop it real quick,
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: but I saw it. Should I be wared that He
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: lied and said he didn't see it? What he pulled
- 1:03:25Speaker 3: up the cameras that was watching it. He didn't want
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: you to know he was watching it, so he lied
- 1:03:30Speaker 3: and said he ain't seen it. What you're worried about that, Poe?
- 1:03:33Speaker 3: You gotta get another damn babysitter, Siry, What is she
- 1:03:36Speaker 3: worried about?
- 1:03:37Speaker 10: That?
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: Phone?
- 1:03:38Speaker 10: So?
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: What?
- 1:03:40Speaker 10: So?
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: What he saw the video? What you want to tell you? Baby?
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: I've been watching this? Who the little girl right here?
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: I'm trying to tell you?
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: Is that? What what you want him to say? Cut
- 1:03:51Speaker 3: the video? You don't want your wife to know you
- 1:03:54Speaker 3: watching that. That's why he lied. Let me ask you something, Sherman.
- 1:03:58Speaker 3: If you thought you could cut the video off that
- 1:04:00Speaker 3: you was watching and your husband walked in on you
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: and he said, babe, what was you watching?
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: You wouldn't lie.
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: Probably not, that's a lie and so he will go not,
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: well see probably we mean and we gonna lie.
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: I don't see property.
- 1:04:18Speaker 7: It's an issue to her.
- 1:04:20Speaker 8: And if he she saw him and he lied about it,
- 1:04:23Speaker 8: that's an issue.
- 1:04:24Speaker 7: Why are you lying?
- 1:04:25Speaker 14: Wow?
- 1:04:26Speaker 7: Listen, you know what do you?
- 1:04:31Speaker 10: Yeah?

- 1:05:12Speaker 18: they're emotional dogs. I can let these dogs dogs, but
- 1:05:16Speaker 18: first of all, you work in a place, it ends

- 1:06:23Speaker 1: Know that is a funny visual though.
- 1:06:25Speaker 7: You go in and talk to your boss and it's
- 1:06:27Speaker 7: a dog.
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: I love her.
- 1:06:29Speaker 14: I love This is my favorite thing to do. I
- 1:06:32Speaker 14: love to go down to the where they sell dogs
- 1:06:35Speaker 14: at school.

- 1:06:40Speaker 1: Are you doing you?
- 1:06:41Speaker 14: You want to be adopted today?
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: You like to go home with me? Well, guess what
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: you ain't going?
- 1:06:50Speaker 16: That's your favorite thing.
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: Hey, that scudent, what would you like to go?
- 1:06:59Speaker 7: I know, no, no, how is that right on any level?
- 1:07:09Speaker 10: Though?
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: Crack it up over there. I'm a fancy.
- 1:07:23Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:07:24Speaker 7: If you could you have a dog, Jay and walk
- 1:07:26Speaker 7: the dog, you know, and feed it and all of that.
- 1:07:29Speaker 7: You wouldn't do that. You didn't have to take it
- 1:07:31Speaker 7: to work, but just take care of it. Dogs are
- 1:07:34Speaker 7: part of the family.
- 1:07:35Speaker 15: Jay.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: Yeah, not just.

- 1:08:16Speaker 1: If it wasn't in per person, family, is it now?
- 1:08:19Speaker 7: Listen now?
- 1:08:20Speaker 8: This amount is based on ninety six volunteer shoppers in
- 1:08:24Speaker 8: twenty eight states checking retail prices at their local grocery
- 1:08:28Speaker 8: store to determine the overall costs.
- 1:08:31Speaker 7: Okay, and this is what the meal will.
- 1:08:32Speaker 3: I'll tell you what though, what I tell you what

- 1:12:32Speaker 7: You're listening Hardy Morning Show.
- 1:12:37Speaker 8: Well in trending pregnancy news, I don't know where that
- 1:12:40Speaker 8: came from, but here it is pancy.
- 1:12:45Speaker 10: Read.
- 1:12:45Speaker 8: The poll of two thousand women shows that eighty nine
- 1:12:49Speaker 8: percent experienced at least one type of craving during their pregnancy.
- 1:12:54Speaker 8: It also used data to determine some of the most
- 1:12:56Speaker 8: popular food cravings, as well as some of the strangest ones.
- 1:13:00Speaker 8: The most popular cravings include seasonal foods that are out
- 1:13:03Speaker 8: of season when the cravings strike, for instance, pumpkin pie
- 1:13:07Speaker 8: or sweet potato pie in the spring. Others want very
- 1:13:10Speaker 8: specific food combinations, like peanut butter and marshmallow sandwiches or
- 1:13:17Speaker 8: pickles and cheese. So here's the question, what kind of cravings?
- 1:13:22Speaker 8: Uh huh? What kind of cravings did your wife have
- 1:13:26Speaker 8: while pregnant? Plus Carl and I had some cravings are own.
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: Can't remember.
- 1:13:31Speaker 13: I can't remember Jackie's cravings ice cream? Yeah we did
- 1:13:36Speaker 13: that together, yeah too, Yeah, well I was going through to.
- 1:13:43Speaker 17: Uh, I want pizza all the and I could not
- 1:13:49Speaker 17: stand the smell because you know pregnant women would smell.
- 1:13:52Speaker 7: Yeah, we're so the smell of popcorns.
- 1:13:56Speaker 11: Oh wow.
- 1:13:57Speaker 8: Okay, And as much as I love pizza, I couldn't
- 1:14:00Speaker 8: stand pizza at that time, I couldn't.
- 1:14:03Speaker 7: I didn't want to smell it. All I wanted was
- 1:14:06Speaker 7: watch her melon. And you know watermelon wasn't in seasons
- 1:14:10Speaker 7: and October.
- 1:14:11Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, coming.
- 1:14:14Speaker 8: Up at thirty three minutes after the hour, we'll play
- 1:14:16Speaker 8: around it. Would you rather right after this? You're listening
- 1:14:21Speaker 8: hard morning show time? Now, guys, for around it?
- 1:14:24Speaker 7: Would you rather? Would you rather have no legs or
- 1:14:31Speaker 7: no arms?
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: Can you just take one apiece?
- 1:14:34Speaker 7: I'm not damn no, no legs, no arm, man, I
- 1:14:40Speaker 7: got to have them.
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: Okay, I'm gonna let you take them legs.
- 1:14:46Speaker 7: I'm gonna have them all, Tommy, come on, Steve, no legs, no.
- 1:14:51Speaker 3: Arm Yeah, I'm gonna need them, mom Jo, I can't
- 1:14:53Speaker 3: grab nothing, I can't beat up the at least you
- 1:14:55Speaker 3: got on.
- 1:14:56Speaker 6: You can go somewhere.
- 1:14:58Speaker 3: I can drive, okay, you know you know how to
- 1:15:02Speaker 3: be a wheelchairs and stuff up.
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: And they're picturing all like.
- 1:15:06Speaker 6: The cats is strong? Hey, them dudes, will way you out? Man, Yeah,
- 1:15:12Speaker 6: wear you out. But I'm just going with I like,
- 1:15:14Speaker 6: what the way I am? I'm gonna.
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: Yeah this was.
- 1:15:24Speaker 3: And I'm sitting up here with my leg up on
- 1:15:26Speaker 3: the desk right now thinking if you wouldn't now, I
- 1:15:31Speaker 3: could just slum.
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: Down and beating fell out this damn chair. I slide
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: out on the floor.
- 1:15:38Speaker 10: All right.
- 1:15:38Speaker 8: So would you rather walk barefoot in a public restroom restroom?
- 1:15:45Speaker 8: Or would you rather get food poisoning?
- 1:15:48Speaker 6: I gonna take that food poison I have been food
- 1:15:50Speaker 6: poison before.
- 1:15:52Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:15:52Speaker 3: Let me gonna start throwing up because I'm not walking
- 1:15:54Speaker 3: barefoot in that public.
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: German. Yo, I'm throwing up either way. I'm just yeah.
- 1:16:06Speaker 3: But I got to blow torch the bottom of my
- 1:16:08Speaker 3: heat with my cigar lighter, trying.
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: To sanitize your feet. I need to cross the burn
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: and sayings again.
- 1:16:26Speaker 8: All right, I think we have three for food poisoning
- 1:16:28Speaker 8: on that one. If you're keeping score, all right, would
- 1:16:32Speaker 8: you rather save the world but die as a hero
- 1:16:35Speaker 8: in the process, or save the world?
- 1:16:38Speaker 7: But no one knows?
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: Man, blank this wirl, what is you talking about? I'm
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: trying to save it and then die. Why would I
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: do that?
- 1:16:47Speaker 3: Rather, I'd rather just be here and see what the
- 1:16:50Speaker 3: hell is gonna happen me, y'all. I ain't the mask
- 1:16:58Speaker 3: be no heat, no damn way.
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: I want to be the survivor last one.
- 1:17:08Speaker 8: Would you rather scream at each other? Or would you
- 1:17:10Speaker 8: rather get each other the silent treatment?
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: Give each other?
- 1:17:14Speaker 10: What show?
- 1:17:15Speaker 7: The silent treatment?
- 1:17:17Speaker 10: Oh?
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: Really?
- 1:17:18Speaker 11: I take the side of the treatment and past because
- 1:17:22Speaker 11: I want you to be quiet any day on one.
- 1:17:25Speaker 16: All right, all right, we're coming up at forty nine,
- 1:17:33Speaker 16: coming up at forty nine.
- 1:17:35Speaker 7: Minutes after the hour.
- 1:17:37Speaker 8: It's our last break of the day, and we'll close
- 1:17:39Speaker 8: out the show with Steve Harvey right after this.
- 1:17:43Speaker 7: You're listening Morning Show.
- 1:17:46Speaker 8: All right, Here we are, Steve, last break of the
- 1:17:49Speaker 8: day on this Tuesday, and you're gonna leave us with
- 1:17:52Speaker 8: some closing remarks.
- 1:17:53Speaker 7: It was a pretty good day today, wouldn't you say?
- 1:17:55Speaker 3: Yeah, pretty good day. I got something for you though.
- 1:17:57Speaker 3: All right, let's go in the vein of encouraging people.
- 1:18:03Speaker 3: I want to inspire people to go for it. Okay, Steve,
- 1:18:07Speaker 3: what you're talking about, whatever it is, whatever it is
- 1:18:11Speaker 3: that you've been hesitating about, whatever it is that you've
- 1:18:16Speaker 3: been procrastinating about, whatever it is that you've been waiting
- 1:18:24Speaker 3: on the right time, whatever it is that you've kind
- 1:18:29Speaker 3: of been fearful of, I want you to go for it.
- 1:18:37Speaker 3: And I'm gonna tell you why, man, Because this thing
- 1:18:42Speaker 3: we have called life, in the total scheme of the
- 1:18:46Speaker 3: evolution of the world and all that it is, we
- 1:18:50Speaker 3: all have such a very short time here, and oftentimes
- 1:18:55Speaker 3: it seems like some of the goodwines times absolutely gets
- 1:18:58Speaker 3: cut just way too show. But I want to encourage
- 1:19:02Speaker 3: you to go for it.
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: Now.
- 1:19:06Speaker 3: Is it gonna take a deep breath to go for it?
- 1:19:09Speaker 3: Yes it will. Is it gonna take a bold spirit
- 1:19:12Speaker 3: to go for it, Yes it will. Is it gonna
- 1:19:15Speaker 3: take some risks to go for it? Probably? Is it
- 1:19:19Speaker 3: going to require a tough decision to make. I'm sure
- 1:19:23Speaker 3: it is, But I'm telling you that it will be
- 1:19:30Speaker 3: well worth the decision to.
- 1:19:32Speaker 10: Go for it.
- 1:19:34Speaker 3: I was at the mentoring camp and I was showing
- 1:19:37Speaker 3: that young kids my vision board, and uh, some adults
- 1:19:42Speaker 3: were there, and the kids were just glued to what
- 1:19:46Speaker 3: I was telling them about accomplishing your dreams. But some
- 1:19:50Speaker 3: adults who had been whipped by life a little bit,
- 1:19:53Speaker 3: I would imagine as I had and everything.
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: They didn't. They couldn't quite see what I I was saying.
- 1:20:01Speaker 3: So a guy came up to me afterwards and he said,
- 1:20:05Speaker 3: you know, mister Harvey, not to discourage you in any way,
- 1:20:08Speaker 3: but that's a really really lofty financial goal you have
- 1:20:12Speaker 3: of making. Do you really think you need that much money?
- 1:20:18Speaker 3: I said, no, no, I don't. He said, well, why
- 1:20:23Speaker 3: would you run the risk of disappointing yourself by aiming
- 1:20:28Speaker 3: at something that you might not get to Because that
- 1:20:31Speaker 3: number you got with a three on it, I mean,
- 1:20:34Speaker 3: he said, Hey, man, what happens if you only get
- 1:20:37Speaker 3: one of those? I said, if I got one of
- 1:20:41Speaker 3: those instead of three of those, do you think I
- 1:20:45Speaker 3: could still live a really, really wonderful life. He said,
- 1:20:48Speaker 3: mister Harvis, I think you live in a wonderful life now,
- 1:20:51Speaker 3: I said, I am, sir. He said, but why would
- 1:20:54Speaker 3: you want to run the risk of falling short of
- 1:20:58Speaker 3: that goal and a three and you only end up
- 1:21:00Speaker 3: with one? What does that say about you? It will
- 1:21:04Speaker 3: say the same thing that my life says about me
- 1:21:06Speaker 3: right now. It says that I'm successful. He said, But
- 1:21:10Speaker 3: you failed at your goal. I said no, no, I
- 1:21:16Speaker 3: did my absolute best. I landed where I landed. I said, see, brother,
- 1:21:22Speaker 3: the problem you're looking at the problem isn't aiming too
- 1:21:28Speaker 3: high and miss it. See if I don't get three
- 1:21:32Speaker 3: billion and I end up with just one billion, I said,
- 1:21:36Speaker 3: my man, I can promise you I won't be sitting
- 1:21:39Speaker 3: with somewhere disappointed and shame of myself. I say, your
- 1:21:44Speaker 3: problem is not aiming too.
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: High and missing.
- 1:21:48Speaker 3: Your problem is if you aim too low and you
- 1:21:51Speaker 3: hit it. I said, See, what happens to a lot
- 1:21:55Speaker 3: of people is they go okay, and they make their
- 1:21:59Speaker 3: goal somewhere where they know they can reach it. Let's say,
- 1:22:02Speaker 3: and I'm not knocking anybody, let's just say your goal
- 1:22:04Speaker 3: is twenty five thousand. I'm not knocking this figure. I'm
- 1:22:07Speaker 3: just using this number, yo, So don't anybody please don't
- 1:22:10Speaker 3: take it personally. And you shoot for twenty five thousand,
- 1:22:15Speaker 3: and the other person says, well, mine is one hundred thousand,
- 1:22:19Speaker 3: and you.
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: Both strike out to make the goal. The person whose goal.
- 1:22:25Speaker 3: Was twenty five thousand, I mean that was one hundred thousand,
- 1:22:31Speaker 3: he misses it. He ends up with eighty five thousand.
- 1:22:37Speaker 3: The person whose goal well was twenty five thousand, he
- 1:22:41Speaker 3: hits it, and he gets twenty five thousand.
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: You see the situation we have now. Now, the one
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: who did the eighty five.
- 1:22:52Speaker 3: Goals, Wow, man, if I could have tried a little
- 1:22:55Speaker 3: bit harder, if I'd have done this, I could have
- 1:22:57Speaker 3: corrected this.
- 1:22:58Speaker 6: I could have done this, probably would have made it.
- 1:23:00Speaker 6: Had done that, I probably would.
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: Have got that.
- 1:23:03Speaker 3: The person with the twenty five thousand is in celebration mode.
- 1:23:06Speaker 3: Oh man, look what I did.
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: I did it.
- 1:23:08Speaker 3: I'm cool, I got it, And there's nothing wrong with that.
- 1:23:11Speaker 3: You should celebrate your victories. But if that's all you
- 1:23:15Speaker 3: ever want is at twenty five, do you know what? Shortenly,
- 1:23:18Speaker 3: you're gonna be out of that twenty five and you
- 1:23:21Speaker 3: have to get back again. But this person who missed
- 1:23:25Speaker 3: one hundred and ended at eighty five, to me, he
- 1:23:30Speaker 3: just seems to be a little bit further up the road,
- 1:23:33Speaker 3: so he may make his goal next time two hundred
- 1:23:36Speaker 3: and fifty. Let's suppose he missed that, and don't give
- 1:23:37Speaker 3: me two hundred. But if you just keep setting low
- 1:23:41Speaker 3: goals and you keep hitting them, and all you want
- 1:23:44Speaker 3: is low goals, so you don't ever have to feel disappointed,
- 1:23:48Speaker 3: you don't have to have to admit defeat. You don't
- 1:23:51Speaker 3: ever have to feel fearful because everything you go into
- 1:23:54Speaker 3: doesn't require deep breath, a leap of faith or jump.
- 1:23:58Speaker 3: I got news for you. Gonna live a real regular life.
- 1:24:02Speaker 3: And if that's what you want, it ain't nothing wrong
- 1:24:04Speaker 3: with it at all. But if you, like so many
- 1:24:06Speaker 3: people that I know, if you want MO, you're gonna
- 1:24:09Speaker 3: have to do more. You're gonna have to give more,
- 1:24:12Speaker 3: and you're gonna certainly have to be MO.
- 1:24:14Speaker 8: Go for it.
- 1:24:16Speaker 6: Don't give up.
- 1:24:17Speaker 8: Go for it.
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: Y'all. Have a great weekend. Yes, sir, you don't know
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: what the weekend is, but great words.
- 1:24:36Speaker 10: For all.
