- 2:06Speaker 1: on dig me now one and only. Uh huh. Steve
- 2:08Speaker 1: Harvey got a radio show, Yeah you do. Steve Harvey
- 2:12Speaker 1: got a radio show. But like I said the other day,
- 2:14Speaker 1: you got something too, though, don't you. God hadn't done
- 2:16Speaker 1: something wonderful for you. You just gotta thank him for it,
- 2:20Speaker 1: you know, Uh, in the midst of all that's going
- 2:22Speaker 1: on in my life and in your life. You know,
- 2:26Speaker 1: I always used myself as an example because well I
- 2:29Speaker 1: mean that way. I guarantee one I know what I'm
- 2:32Speaker 1: talking about. Um, here, here's the situation, you know, with
- 2:37Speaker 1: everything that's going on in my life and all the
- 2:39Speaker 1: things I'm asking God for in the midst of uh
- 2:46Speaker 1: taxing and a very trying situation that is very challenging
- 2:50Speaker 1: for me right now. Man, God just keeps on, keeps
- 2:54Speaker 1: on surprising me. He keeps doing things. And I want
- 2:58Speaker 1: you to look at your life or for a second,
- 3:02Speaker 1: let's make two columns here. Let's make a column of
- 3:07Speaker 1: all the things you want from God, you know, just
- 3:09Speaker 1: do that throughout the course of the day. You know,
- 3:12Speaker 1: you know, run down the list of all the things
- 3:14Speaker 1: you're asking God for, all the things you're praying for,
- 3:17Speaker 1: the things you aspire to, what you your dreams, your visions,
- 3:21Speaker 1: whatever it is. Just make a column list of all
- 3:24Speaker 1: those things. Let's make three lists. And then the second list,
- 3:28Speaker 1: I want you to make a list of everything that
- 3:34Speaker 1: you've been asking God for, so I guess that could
- 3:37Speaker 1: be a little bit of the same. But this third list,
- 3:40Speaker 1: I want you to do a check off point. I
- 3:42Speaker 1: want you to do a make a list of everything
- 3:45Speaker 1: that God has given you that you've asked him for.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Just think about it like that for a second. I
- 3:51Speaker 1: may be explaining a little wrong right now, but I'm
- 3:53Speaker 1: I'm gonna pull it together for you. Make a list
- 3:57Speaker 1: of everything you're asking God for, just just listed. You know.
- 4:01Speaker 1: It's okay. It's a dream board. You can call it that.
- 4:03Speaker 1: I got one, it's a vision board. You know. Every
- 4:05Speaker 1: everybody's got something you hope for. Make a list now.
- 4:09Speaker 1: I want you to make another list of everything you've
- 4:14Speaker 1: asked God for that he's given you already. See this
- 4:18Speaker 1: is a good list because sometimes and what I've been
- 4:22Speaker 1: guilty of and maybe you too, in in my request
- 4:26Speaker 1: list on my dream board, I keep focusing so hard
- 4:30Speaker 1: sometimes on the what I'm yet to receive. I keep
- 4:35Speaker 1: focusing so hard on the what I hope he gives me.
- 4:39Speaker 1: I keep focusing so hard on the things that I
- 4:43Speaker 1: yet not fulfilled in my life that sometimes, as he
- 4:48Speaker 1: starts checking off my wish list, the things I've asked
- 4:52Speaker 1: for in the past that have come to pass that
- 4:54Speaker 1: He's given me, I sometimes, in praying for what I
- 4:59Speaker 1: want forget to thank him for what he's done for me.
- 5:04Speaker 1: And I'm currently in the middle of that situation. And
- 5:06Speaker 1: this morning, when I woke up, I really, man, I
- 5:09Speaker 1: just got on my knees this morning, and I quit
- 5:11Speaker 1: tripping for a second. I said, Man, hey, God, you
- 5:13Speaker 1: know what, I really do need all them things I'm
- 5:17Speaker 1: asking for, and I'm really am believing that you're gonna
- 5:20Speaker 1: give it to me. But in the meantime, though, Man,
- 5:23Speaker 1: have I overlooked some important details here. I had to
- 5:28Speaker 1: really look at what he's done for me. I mean, look, man,
- 5:31Speaker 1: take yourself out of it personally, and and look, well,
- 5:34Speaker 1: you can leave yourself in it however you want to be.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Some people can't do that, so just leave yourself in
- 5:38Speaker 1: it there. But man, I started looking at the eye
- 5:41Speaker 1: part of me, and I started looking around at what's
- 5:44Speaker 1: happening overall. Like, Man, he has kept my family together
- 5:49Speaker 1: and in spite of the attempts to tear it apart.
- 5:52Speaker 1: I look at all of that. I look at how
- 5:54Speaker 1: he's blessing my children with the desires of their heart,
- 5:57Speaker 1: which I pray for my kids. You know, I want
- 5:59Speaker 1: my kids to have a better life than I've had.
- 6:01Speaker 1: I really really do. I don't want them to take
- 6:04Speaker 1: as long as it took me to get it together.
- 6:06Speaker 1: I really really don't. I'm trying to say, hey, man,
- 6:09Speaker 1: if you go to college, this is what you can be.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Don't do like your father did. Don't go three years,
- 6:13Speaker 1: drop out, throw yourself into a spiral, and then got
- 6:16Speaker 1: to start to scratch all over again, you know. And
- 6:19Speaker 1: and for the most part so far, you know, they're
- 6:23Speaker 1: doing quite well of it. You know, you know they're
- 6:25Speaker 1: getting kicked around a little bit, but that's life. I
- 6:28Speaker 1: started thinking of the blessings that he's helped me overcome
- 6:32Speaker 1: with some of the previous mistakes I've made in relationships
- 6:36Speaker 1: in my life. And then I started looking about the
- 6:39Speaker 1: things he's blessed me with that I've been asking him for.
- 6:42Speaker 1: But since I've moved on from it, I forgot to
- 6:45Speaker 1: keep thinking him because I gotta always thank God for
- 6:48Speaker 1: a roof over my head, because guess what, when I
- 6:50Speaker 1: was asking for the roof and I didn't really have it,
- 6:53Speaker 1: then he gave me one that since he gave it
- 6:55Speaker 1: to me, what, I'm just cool now. I can't ever
- 6:58Speaker 1: go back to him and go, hey, man, I really
- 7:00Speaker 1: do appreciate this roof over my head because that was
- 7:02Speaker 1: a time when I was living in a car. But see,
- 7:05Speaker 1: so every morning I wake up, I gotta remember the
- 7:07Speaker 1: fact that I have a home now, because I gotta
- 7:10Speaker 1: look back and go, Man, that was time, Steve, when
- 7:12Speaker 1: you didn't have no home. But see, we forget what
- 7:15Speaker 1: God has done for us because in our column that
- 7:19Speaker 1: won't column, the need column, we oftentimes forget for the
- 7:25Speaker 1: columns and the check marks as He's already fulfilled in
- 7:28Speaker 1: our life. You've got to take inventory every now and
- 7:32Speaker 1: then daily if possible. But I know we're humans. We're
- 7:36Speaker 1: not gonna do that. I don't. But you've got to
- 7:38Speaker 1: take inventory of your life to say, hey, what has
- 7:43Speaker 1: God done for me? Because man, you're overlooking as He's
- 7:47Speaker 1: doing these wonderful things for you, because there's so much
- 7:51Speaker 1: only yet to be fulfilled. I don't have part of
- 7:54Speaker 1: your life. You forget that sex and man, how crazy
- 7:58Speaker 1: is that that, of all God has done for me,
- 8:01Speaker 1: that I keep wanting so many more things, needing so
- 8:05Speaker 1: many more things, hoping so many things come to pass
- 8:09Speaker 1: and get fulfilled. I forget to check off the list
- 8:12Speaker 1: and take inventory today. Take inventory of your life. You
- 8:16Speaker 1: will find out that God is watching you, that He
- 8:20Speaker 1: is really really watching over you in spite of yourself,
- 8:23Speaker 1: in spite of your shortcomings, because we all got him.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Please know I do you know? And remember something else too.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Change is good, but change is challenging. Accept the challenge
- 8:37Speaker 1: that it is. Look a lot of you come up
- 8:40Speaker 1: to me all the time and say, Steve Man, thank you, man,
- 8:43Speaker 1: boy you in the morning. Man, I really be needing
- 8:46Speaker 1: that well, Like I said it a hundred times, but
- 8:48Speaker 1: I'm gonna say it again, y'all, I'll be needing it too.
- 8:52Speaker 1: You know, you understand sometimes what what what God is
- 8:56Speaker 1: dealing with me is for me. But now I'm in
- 8:59Speaker 1: a ship erring position where I can open up and
- 9:02Speaker 1: if I just if I just quit being so about
- 9:05Speaker 1: me and become a little bit more transparent, I can
- 9:08Speaker 1: maybe some of me that's happening to me is happening
- 9:11Speaker 1: to you, and you could see some of this in me.
- 9:13Speaker 1: That's why I used myself as an example, because man,
- 9:16Speaker 1: I'm catching it too, y'all. I ain't perfect either. So
- 9:20Speaker 1: for those of you that come up to me and
- 9:22Speaker 1: say that, I want you to understand these these talks
- 9:25Speaker 1: in the morning, man, this is important for me because man,
- 9:29Speaker 1: I need these conversations from God. I need God to
- 9:33Speaker 1: continue to strengthen me, to show me the way to
- 9:36Speaker 1: help me understand what's happening to me and see as
- 9:40Speaker 1: we've all those of you who have made the decision
- 9:43Speaker 1: to change, to become a better person, a better woman,
- 9:46Speaker 1: a better boy, better girl, a better man. For those
- 9:49Speaker 1: you have made the decision to change, change is a challenge,
- 9:52Speaker 1: and accept the challenge because it's gonna come. Because right
- 9:55Speaker 1: out of that here come to hate us. Here they
- 9:57Speaker 1: come people you don't even know this discussing your life
- 10:00Speaker 1: and your change. If God see you, really really mean
- 10:04Speaker 1: what you say in spite of what they say about you,
- 10:08Speaker 1: God will raise you above the frase. He'll keep promoting you.
- 10:12Speaker 1: He'll keep blessing you, He'll keep moving you up. He
- 10:16Speaker 1: will use you as a show off point. He'll show
- 10:20Speaker 1: you off. Man. He'll make you. He'll make you look
- 10:23Speaker 1: good to people, man who wish you'd fall all day long,
- 10:26Speaker 1: and so to all your haters, all your haters, and
- 10:29Speaker 1: end up just watching you rise. Man. They will watch
- 10:31Speaker 1: you continue to grow. That's what God will do for you. Man.
- 10:35Speaker 1: You can fool the world, but you can't fool God.
- 10:37Speaker 1: God know your heart, He knows your every thought. Man.
- 10:41Speaker 1: So change is good. But change is a challenge. Accept
- 10:45Speaker 1: the challenge, Expect the haters, expect the unnecessary, but God
- 10:49Speaker 1: has strengthen you and get you through it all. Man,
- 10:52Speaker 1: y'all doing swell this morning. Man, don't let nobody make
- 10:54Speaker 1: you thank you all keep talking to God. All right,
- 10:57Speaker 1: you're listening to ladies. Uh. I know I would say
- 11:06Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, but not today. Ladies.

- 11:28Speaker 1: gonna embarrass me? Steve? You know what Sherley, I think
- 11:31Speaker 1: I am today. Today is gonna be the day that
- 11:33Speaker 1: I dedicate almost everything I say to embarrassing Sherley. We're
- 11:37Speaker 1: gonna do ask to see EO today and we'll also
- 11:43Speaker 1: ask motivational questions from the crew. That's the only time
- 11:46Speaker 1: I try to be serious. But other than that, though,
- 11:51Speaker 1: let it rain, I'm gonna be embarrassing today. As much
- 11:56Speaker 1: as Tommy is stupid, I ain't man is a high level.
- 12:02Speaker 1: I'm talking about the degree iquit today. It might yeah,
- 12:10Speaker 1: I don't know. We can take all that in the
- 12:12Speaker 1: emergency room. They call it cold ray. Let's go there,
- 12:16Speaker 1: Let's go. I will be answering any questions today, any
- 12:22Speaker 1: questions at all. Okay, we are going to here. You
- 12:26Speaker 1: can ask me a serious question. You could ask me
- 12:28Speaker 1: an opinional, opinionated question. All things are open and fair
- 12:33Speaker 1: game today. All right, stupid, too cool, let's go, Tommy.
- 12:38Speaker 1: All your questions is most okay? Okay, and I and
- 12:42Speaker 1: I embraced that. That's the problem. All right, y'all want
- 12:47Speaker 1: to start it, y'all scared what's happening? We're jumping off
- 12:49Speaker 1: of the time. I didn't know we're doing it right here,
- 12:53Speaker 1: so well, you know, you know, you know, ain't no
- 12:56Speaker 1: time like right now, time like you know. Okay, when
- 13:00Speaker 1: I started off, it's Timmy for show ugly. Then they
- 13:03Speaker 1: just started damn show that. It really ain't even I
- 13:11Speaker 1: don't know why he's fighting it because he ugly for
- 13:14Speaker 1: real about this all week though, No, but it's cold.
- 13:18Speaker 1: That's not gonna be ugly all week. Tommy, You're not ugly,
- 13:21Speaker 1: thank you. You're not surely talking. She always trying to
- 13:25Speaker 1: take up self right right, don't thank you Sean either.
- 13:30Speaker 1: That's a little false. Well now, Steve, wait a minute,
- 13:34Speaker 1: I can speak for myself here. Well, he ain't got
- 13:36Speaker 1: to be funny looking it's still at the same spot. Okay,
- 13:40Speaker 1: we'll go with funny looking strange. Okay, Tommy, let's take
- 13:45Speaker 1: ugly off the table. He's married. He's having strange looking
- 13:50Speaker 1: but they ain't got nothing to do with a lot
- 13:51Speaker 1: of strange looking people married. Well, he had to find
- 13:55Speaker 1: someone to marry him, his wife. It's what he needs
- 13:59Speaker 1: to be great. Full fault right there. That's why he
- 14:03Speaker 1: needs to be great. I need to be praising him
- 14:05Speaker 1: for that guy, especially that girl you wouldn't got. I
- 14:09Speaker 1: don't know what she was thinking. Surely she could have
- 14:13Speaker 1: done better. Yeah, that's who. Yeah, Steve, I told you
- 14:21Speaker 1: about crushing people. What I tell you I was gonna
- 14:23Speaker 1: be today. Come on, I'll tell you I was going
- 14:26Speaker 1: to brash you today. Yeah, and you're started at the gate. Yeah.
- 14:30Speaker 1: And we'll be back with Moti is he Steve tell
- 14:34Speaker 1: me that when we come back, I'll tell you that.
- 14:37Speaker 1: I come on, hair and go ask me. Go. You're
- 14:43Speaker 1: listening Steve Morning Show. This show has gotten already off
- 14:47Speaker 1: to a crazy start. Steven promised to just be ignorant
- 14:51Speaker 1: today to a higher, higher, higher level. I'm just today
- 14:55Speaker 1: is I'm just gonna do this today. Forget all them
- 14:58Speaker 1: shows I got. So what was your question for we left? Tommy?
- 15:01Speaker 1: I asked, are you uglier than me? Well? I think
- 15:08Speaker 1: we tied help to them? Okay, okay, cool, then Tommy,
- 15:16Speaker 1: I'll take this. I'm uglier than you, Thank you. I'll
- 15:20Speaker 1: accept that. And but now let me show you how
- 15:25Speaker 1: I've overcompensated for my looks. We know you don't have
- 15:29Speaker 1: to say that. We know. Now let's just go down
- 15:34Speaker 1: the list of questions. Let's just ask the ladies, if
- 15:38Speaker 1: I'm uglier than Tommy, what you am if you had
- 15:42Speaker 1: to live with one of us? You're rich? What how
- 15:47Speaker 1: is this a question? Okay, so you take his wallet away?
- 15:51Speaker 1: He real ugly? Well, if you take your wallet away, yeah,
- 15:57Speaker 1: you ain't got since we snatching, you ain't got a
- 16:02Speaker 1: snowball chance. And what do you think would happen? Okay?
- 16:06Speaker 1: You if we both broke, ladies, if we both brokenking man,
- 16:17Speaker 1: see Timmy, if we both broke, then we're gonna go
- 16:20Speaker 1: to both of us are unattractive. Then they got to
- 16:23Speaker 1: go to who would breed better babies? Yeah, well you're taller,
- 16:30Speaker 1: damn bamn. Feel like slavery now, sho big buck. This
- 16:42Speaker 1: feels like racist people short her. I'm put it that way.
- 16:48Speaker 1: Next question, you don't handle CEO asking me what y'all wanted? CEO, question,
- 16:55Speaker 1: I got a question, okay, CEO, alright's coming up? All
- 16:58Speaker 1: Star weekend? Right, we're here in l A. What you
- 17:03Speaker 1: got laid out for your staff? Nothing right there. I
- 17:07Speaker 1: think that the NBA has laid out enough stock slam
- 17:11Speaker 1: dunk contest, NBA experience, the actual All Star Game, and parties.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Pick whatever one you want to go to enjoy yourself,
- 17:19Speaker 1: have your work. You wouldn't have a party for your
- 17:23Speaker 1: staff at your house and later, but I have a
- 17:26Speaker 1: party in my house for my staff. When y'all all
- 17:30Speaker 1: got houses, you're damn sick with us coming together. It's
- 17:36Speaker 1: fellowship and a little morale boosting things like took Junior
- 17:41Speaker 1: to Vegas. But okay, okay, sir, you took Junior to Vegas.
- 17:46Speaker 1: How about y'all's husband. Wouldn't let Valentine's Day is coming up? Steve?
- 17:51Speaker 1: You always do stuff where the guys on the show,
- 17:54Speaker 1: what about Carla and I like, yeah, dudes on show
- 18:00Speaker 1: near today? Yea, it was for super Bowl and then
- 18:06Speaker 1: you got the All Star weekend coming up, and then
- 18:09Speaker 1: Valentine's Day. Don't you think you should do? Not Madre,
- 18:12Speaker 1: y'are not getting a damn conversion right now, not from flowers.
- 18:19Speaker 1: Thank you, flowers, your appreciation. Mar sent the girls anything
- 18:26Speaker 1: on Valentine because I'm always I'm always feeding them. That's
- 18:30Speaker 1: that's the difference. I feed them. That's where we're going
- 18:32Speaker 1: to eat. Yeah, we gotta eat. Steve, so he takes
- 18:36Speaker 1: care of that. I treat y'all to Valentineze. Then if
- 18:40Speaker 1: y'all all go out together, I pay for it. What
- 18:43Speaker 1: do you mean the whole of the show, if the show?
- 18:46Speaker 1: If yeah, all of us? Are you coming with us? Uh?
- 18:52Speaker 1: Valentine's Day is for my wife? Got no time for Yeah.
- 18:58Speaker 1: So this is well, it's been from day one, since
- 19:02Speaker 1: the moment I come out my mama. He'd been like
- 19:05Speaker 1: this with Merankier. You get Tommy, listen to me. You
- 19:10Speaker 1: have a wife, dedicate that day to your wife, a
- 19:15Speaker 1: husband and call it out a hood Scotts to get
- 19:18Speaker 1: busy for them on their Valentine Valentine's falls on the Wednesday,
- 19:25Speaker 1: So let's just say I on the twelve. Let's say
- 19:27Speaker 1: we all go out on Monday. You know, I work
- 19:31Speaker 1: on Monday. But when do you get off? Wednesday is
- 19:37Speaker 1: the only day that I'm off television, the only Valentine's Day,
- 19:41Speaker 1: and that happens to be Valentine's Day. And I'm gonna
- 19:44Speaker 1: be so up in my girl face. Oh right there,
- 19:49Speaker 1: that too? All that? Oh, let's happening. Well, let's playing
- 19:57Speaker 1: a big spring part Steve, something where we can all
- 20:01Speaker 1: hang out and go somewhere away. Here's what I'm gonna do.
- 20:06Speaker 1: Like I live, I'll be damn, which you don't ever
- 20:10Speaker 1: like to hang out with that you don't really care about,
- 20:13Speaker 1: You don't really care about. I can't say nothing something
- 20:18Speaker 1: to you. It's always junior, Junior. Did I not take
- 20:21Speaker 1: you all the Paris last? Yes? You did. I will
- 20:25Speaker 1: be taking y'all to Paris again this so, now, what
- 20:32Speaker 1: is all this? They're doing a whole happy dance. Look
- 20:41Speaker 1: at the happy dance because and listen to me man
- 20:44Speaker 1: and my wife. My wife Okay, is this too? My
- 20:48Speaker 1: wife says Steve. Damn, your girls, they've been with you,
- 20:51Speaker 1: they support you, and you know they work around your schedule.
- 20:55Speaker 1: It's nice that we do something for them. For them. Girls.
- 20:59Speaker 1: We work around schedule too. No, we work around yost catch,
- 21:04Speaker 1: I asked the one be in place and then catching
- 21:09Speaker 1: flights at ten thirt No, we works around my schedule
- 21:15Speaker 1: being set. The girls pretty much know and they offer suggestion.
- 21:19Speaker 1: But every time we offer a suggestion to you, we
- 21:22Speaker 1: can't do it because you have booked a flight on

- 25:38Speaker 1: the dress as a slave, that's a problem. That's problem. Okay, okay, sir.
- 25:43Speaker 1: If we're gonna pay homage to black history, don't you
- 25:46Speaker 1: think that all of that is a part of black history?
- 25:49Speaker 1: High like the positive man, high like the positive. You're
- 25:53Speaker 1: paying me that they to work for you. This ain't
- 25:55Speaker 1: no slaves, free labor. Do you understand that? I completely
- 26:01Speaker 1: understand it. But what if we don't have where where
- 26:04Speaker 1: it's started from? You know, we have to have we
- 26:07Speaker 1: have to have all every single area of black history.
- 26:12Speaker 1: Don't you think we have to have the beginning, the middle,
- 26:14Speaker 1: and the ending. Okay, well, if you want to highlight
- 26:16Speaker 1: some of them to be Frederick Dull, let me slick
- 26:18Speaker 1: my hat back. But see the problem you got here?
- 26:20Speaker 1: His father was a white man. See y'all like looking
- 26:23Speaker 1: at our women, but y'all don't like uplifting the black man.

- 26:49Speaker 1: be masters tomorrow. Okay, what did you say masters? Did
- 26:54Speaker 1: you gonna say masters? Yes, most of them are gonna

- 27:44Speaker 1: kiss my black that's what you do, sir. I'm trying
- 27:49Speaker 1: to What we're trying to do is play a homage
- 27:51Speaker 1: to black history. And here you are being negative about
- 27:54Speaker 1: the entire entire situation of what we're trying to do.
- 27:57Speaker 1: To be a negative and I'm being like, man, you
- 28:00Speaker 1: I'm coming in a Barack Obama to mar like I said,
- 28:03Speaker 1: and I'm like, hey, I'm like, choose on my can you? Sir?
- 28:08Speaker 1: That's the There's one more thing I need to say
- 28:10Speaker 1: to you. Okay, there's one more? What more? I'm sorry
- 28:15Speaker 1: you just said all you had to say? What's your
- 28:17Speaker 1: name again, Chad, sir, Chad Billingsley? What here you got
- 28:20Speaker 1: to say? Chad? All I wanted to say to you
- 28:23Speaker 1: as this sir, is I am nephew Tommy from the
- 28:26Speaker 1: Steve Albit Martin Show. And you just got pranked by
- 28:29Speaker 1: your co worker Kevin. Had to be some kind of
- 28:37Speaker 1: joke because y'all playing on a Sunday. Man, I'm gonna

- 28:57Speaker 1: to ask you, man, you gotta tell me this? What
- 28:59Speaker 1: is the bad? And I mean the baddest radio station
- 29:02Speaker 1: in the land, man, the Steve Harvard Morning Show. Y'all
- 29:08Speaker 1: feeling the history on this? No, now you're gonna ask
- 29:11Speaker 1: you don't feel a little history. You think it's cool
- 29:14Speaker 1: to prank history? His story? You don't feel the history? Now?
- 29:20Speaker 1: Are you crazy? What? Now? How we gonna go through history?
- 29:23Speaker 1: We want to talk about the auction? Stop saying that.
- 29:28Speaker 1: Want to y'all? You want to talk about Booklet get
- 29:30Speaker 1: your mean y'a don't want to come on? Where's your CD? Okay?
- 29:37Speaker 1: Well we're gonna make history with that. Won't they do it?
- 29:40Speaker 1: It's in Walmart? Right now? Get it? I'm pranking church folks, y'all.
- 29:43Speaker 1: It is in Walmart, won't he do it? Go to
- 29:45Speaker 1: your close Walmart and get yourself a copy and listen
- 29:48Speaker 1: to the neph You have a dog on food. That's
- 29:49Speaker 1: what you need in your car, when you're rolling, when
- 29:51Speaker 1: you're sitting in traffic. You need a little Won't he
- 29:53Speaker 1: do it in your life? I mean I've asked you
- 29:55Speaker 1: this before, But why church people? Why there's so many
- 29:59Speaker 1: other people and the people that will susk you out
- 30:04Speaker 1: that you ain't ever seen an argument in church parking
- 30:06Speaker 1: lot they go down. Yeah, that's what sister on Dale
- 30:09Speaker 1: was born. Yeah, you ain't never seen an usher. Lady
- 30:13Speaker 1: lose it at the DoD is a whole other level.
- 30:21Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know. We got taught to it.
- 30:28Speaker 1: You're listening to Eagles fans are up early this morning
- 30:35Speaker 1: because you know what time it is. They're getting ready
- 30:38Speaker 1: for today's victory parade for the team at eleven a m.
- 30:42Speaker 1: This morning. The parade will take place a Broad and
- 30:45Speaker 1: Pattison near the stadium complex, and it's gonna head down
- 30:48Speaker 1: Broad Street right before moving to the Benjamin Franklin Parkway
- 30:52Speaker 1: and ending up at the Art Museum. Also, yeah, the
- 30:57Speaker 1: Christco Police they wouldn't put Yeah, but he didn't stop him.
- 31:04Speaker 1: Some people they absorbed right up there. Also check this out.
- 31:13Speaker 1: An Eagles fan took the ultimate plunge after his team
- 31:16Speaker 1: won the Super Bowl getting a tattoo on his left
- 31:19Speaker 1: calf of quarterback Nick Foles holding the Lombardi Trophy. Already
- 31:24Speaker 1: okay like that? No, uh nothing, uh nothing but Jesus okay.
- 31:31Speaker 1: Teddy Moon's school teacher in New Jersey, already had more
- 31:35Speaker 1: than thirty tattoos on his body, but luckily there was
- 31:38Speaker 1: some real estate on his leg, right on his calf
- 31:41Speaker 1: where he put it. As a lifelong Eagles fan, Teddy
- 31:43Speaker 1: said he couldn't resist celebrating the big victory with some
- 31:47Speaker 1: new ink. That's a lot the dedication. Would you do that,
- 31:52Speaker 1: Stephen tattoot he'll know that. Well, you've been wanting them
- 32:03Speaker 1: to win the Super Bowl. If they win the Super Bowl,
- 32:05Speaker 1: which I wanted, the Cavils win the World Championship, they win,
- 32:08Speaker 1: they wore one. Now I put the flag on. Now
- 32:11Speaker 1: look at him this shiear. No, we're not that. But
- 32:15Speaker 1: this guy is a school teacher. He's into ink. He
- 32:19Speaker 1: just you know, he's been a lifelong Eagles fan. So
- 32:21Speaker 1: he decided to do it. Just put the Nick Knowles
- 32:25Speaker 1: a tattoo of Nick Knowles. Uh falls, I'm sorry, I'm
- 32:29Speaker 1: thinking ye holding the Lombardi Trophy. Well, you got to
- 32:36Speaker 1: be kidding me. No, you need to tell me as
- 32:40Speaker 1: much as you talk about Cleveland Brown and the quarterback situation,
- 32:44Speaker 1: if they had a winning quarterback and they won the
- 32:47Speaker 1: big Lombardi Trophy, I believe you get the tattoos. What
- 32:52Speaker 1: the hell that phone because you're you're a fan and
- 33:01Speaker 1: they finally won. Okay, let me ask you all this question.
- 33:05Speaker 1: If you had to get a tattoo, it was absolutely
- 33:09Speaker 1: you have to select a tattoo and get it. What
- 33:12Speaker 1: would you get and where would it be? That's a
- 33:15Speaker 1: great question. Okay. I'd have to get it where no
- 33:19Speaker 1: one would see it. The smaller I would get it
- 33:26Speaker 1: inside my wrist, and I would just get my mom's
- 33:29Speaker 1: name inside my wrist. I might get yeah, that's a
- 33:34Speaker 1: good one, your mom's name. Yeah, since my mom has
- 33:36Speaker 1: gone on, I might get it like on the inside
- 33:39Speaker 1: of my arm right here. Yeah. I don't want I'm
- 33:42Speaker 1: just not into tattoos, so I wouldn't want anyone to
- 33:45Speaker 1: see it. I get my mama name too, just on
- 33:47Speaker 1: my heart. But I said, I can't see no reason
- 33:50Speaker 1: get tattoo. Yeah it hurts, I would get yeah, I
- 33:55Speaker 1: mean people do it. You already got one tattoo. What
- 33:59Speaker 1: else would you get, would get some some some boxer
- 34:02Speaker 1: drawls that just look like I got some tattoo drawls on.
- 34:06Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. That way, if I go
- 34:07Speaker 1: to the new bench, I look dressed. You know what
- 34:09Speaker 1: I'm saying, he's going to be sitting on a bench
- 34:11Speaker 1: rolling over your tattoo. Now, I want to hear your
- 34:16Speaker 1: answer to I mean, you know you can do what
- 34:18Speaker 1: Tommy saying. When you're small, you can tattoo draws on
- 34:21Speaker 1: and walk down the street and nobody gonna say nothing
- 34:25Speaker 1: tattoo right now? Long sleep shirt? Okay, where Steve hurry?
- 34:31Speaker 1: I don't know. I would probably that sounds good. My
- 34:36Speaker 1: mama's name, but alright, come back and yeah, well yeah, yeah,
- 34:42Speaker 1: I got Please introduce miss and she's here with the
- 34:46Speaker 1: latest what's going on in the White House, Ladies and gentlemen,
- 34:51Speaker 1: without a doubt, the voice of authority of the Steve
- 34:54Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show, MS and Trip. Thanks Steve, Good morning
- 34:58Speaker 1: everybody out there. This is and Trip for the news.
- 35:00Speaker 1: A bipartisan deal was reaching the U. S. Senate yesterday
- 35:04Speaker 1: on a new federal spending bill, and Republican leader Mitch McConnell,
- 35:07Speaker 1: who you may remember said no to practically everything that
- 35:09Speaker 1: President Obama wanted to do. McConnell made the announcement, it
- 35:14Speaker 1: is perfect, but we worked hard to find common ground
- 35:17Speaker 1: and stay focused on serving the American people. Yeah, it's
- 35:21Speaker 1: a two year deal that includes more money for both
- 35:23Speaker 1: domestic as well as military spending, ten years of funding
- 35:26Speaker 1: for the children's health insurance program. However, it does not
- 35:30Speaker 1: contain any mention of DHAKA. So the Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi
- 35:33Speaker 1: went on the floor of the Congress to express their
- 35:35Speaker 1: opposition that nothing was mentioned about the dreamers. As members
- 35:38Speaker 1: of Congress, we have a moral responsibility to act now
- 35:41Speaker 1: to protect Dreamers, who are the pride of our nation,
- 35:44Speaker 1: in our American every way. But on paper, there's nothing
- 35:48Speaker 1: partisan or political about protecting Dreamers. If a Dream Act
- 35:51Speaker 1: were brought to the floor, it would pass immediately with
- 35:54Speaker 1: strong bipartisan support. Why are we here if not to
- 35:58Speaker 1: protect the patriotic young people who are determined to contribute
- 36:02Speaker 1: and to strength in America. So I'm going to go
- 36:04Speaker 1: on as long as my leadership minute, and go on
- 36:09Speaker 1: and go on. She did. She spoke for more than
- 36:11Speaker 1: eight hours straight to try and force a vote on immigration.
- 36:14Speaker 1: The Senate the House now have to work out some
- 36:16Speaker 1: sort of joint bill by midnight to send to the
- 36:18Speaker 1: President for his signature. A top White House aide is
- 36:21Speaker 1: stepping down over allegations involving domestic abuse. White House Staff
- 36:25Speaker 1: Secretary Rob Porter's two former wives say they were both
- 36:28Speaker 1: abused physically, verbally, and emotionally by this guy. His first
- 36:32Speaker 1: spouse told Intercept that Porter choked and punched her during
- 36:35Speaker 1: their five year marriage. There's a picture of her with
- 36:37Speaker 1: a black eye. Porter calls the allegations outrageous, but he's
- 36:41Speaker 1: leaving the Trump White House anyway. As I say, the
- 36:43Speaker 1: number of sexual assaults report at West Point practically double
- 36:46Speaker 1: during the last school year. Officials say they were fifty
- 36:49Speaker 1: reported cases in that school year that ended last summer,
- 36:52Speaker 1: compared with twenty six the year before at West Point,
- 36:55Speaker 1: and that's the fourth year in a row the sexual
- 36:56Speaker 1: assault reports rose at the US Military Academy. Meanwhile, both
- 37:01Speaker 1: Enaval and Air Force academies registered only modest increases and
- 37:04Speaker 1: reported cases of sexual assault. Finally, today is fat Thursday
- 37:08Speaker 1: and Laughing Get Rich Day. Anybody on this show is
- 37:14Speaker 1: laughing and getting rich with me. You're the butterfly coming
- 37:17Speaker 1: up with twenty minutes after the I would love him.
- 37:19Speaker 1: Stay tuned to the Steve Harby Morning Show. You're listening
- 37:22Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve, you
- 37:26Speaker 1: still have to tell us where your tattoo would be
- 37:28Speaker 1: and the butterfly is here. Oh so you got at
- 37:32Speaker 1: this point in my life, I probably put Marjorie's name
- 37:37Speaker 1: on me. Yeah, I put Marjorie on. I put it. Well,
- 37:43Speaker 1: you got guns put on? You want them gone? No,
- 37:46Speaker 1: you tried that. Yours don't look like he just showed
- 37:50Speaker 1: it and flix. That's he just just showed the tattoo.
- 37:58Speaker 1: It's on Steve Harvey fl on the ground. You you're
- 38:03Speaker 1: a theater major. So that's the Yeah, I didn't. I
- 38:08Speaker 1: can't do that. That that many and tragedy. Yeah, so
- 38:12Speaker 1: what would you where would you put your your wife's
- 38:15Speaker 1: name on one of your lips? You ought to do
- 38:21Speaker 1: it on one of your lips. While speaking of lips,
- 38:26Speaker 1: damn our social media director John she has a tattoo
- 38:30Speaker 1: inside of her lip. Let me take a picture. What
- 38:31Speaker 1: does that say? Like? L and it's did that hurt?
- 38:40Speaker 1: Why do I just why? I just don't speak? Yeah,
- 38:43Speaker 1: why do a tattoo? Side. I'll give you that. It's clever.
- 38:50Speaker 1: You could get your lip done though on the outer
- 38:52Speaker 1: party your lip. I mean you got a lot of room.
- 38:55Speaker 1: You can actually put Steve and margin on your lip.
- 38:59Speaker 1: You could put Steve Eve, Marjorie Winton. You can get
- 39:03Speaker 1: your whole family on just your bottom lip. You know
- 39:06Speaker 1: what I'm saying. I'm with this right here. You can
- 39:08Speaker 1: actually get a Bible scripture on your top lip. You
- 39:13Speaker 1: got lips to work with. Don't you put it nowhere
- 39:16Speaker 1: else but your lips? Yes? You know what. I ain't
- 39:19Speaker 1: got room from my little what's that my bank account?
- 39:27Speaker 1: Always throw the no no no no no no no.
- 39:31Speaker 1: I don't always throw the water that you you always
- 39:34Speaker 1: bring it to it today, okay, I just beat you
- 39:38Speaker 1: to it today because I'm tired of your all. Can
- 39:42Speaker 1: we bring a tattoo artist and here into the studios
- 39:44Speaker 1: and get the right, no, theed lips because we got
- 39:47Speaker 1: some paraground he wants to put on that? Can't we
- 39:50Speaker 1: do that? Can a brother have a lip to write on?
- 39:54Speaker 1: He can do that? Did you bring up your You
- 39:59Speaker 1: just waste Eugenie's time. You notice anybody hurt talking about
- 40:05Speaker 1: lip pop? Good morning? So here it is again ten
- 40:09Speaker 1: seconds left for me the top. This is the kind
- 40:11Speaker 1: of stuff I'm talking about. So um, we're sorry. I
- 40:14Speaker 1: would love to get a butterfly shattered on Tommy's chests.
- 40:17Speaker 1: I would love that. But what does Tommy say about that?
- 40:21Speaker 1: Well that that remains to be seen. We gotta go.
- 40:23Speaker 1: Thank you, Genie. After the break. At thirty four after
- 40:27Speaker 1: the hour, a Girl Scout tells to sells tons of
- 40:30Speaker 1: cookies outside of pot dispensary. Wow, somebody got the munches. Yeah,
- 40:39Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steven Show. Well it's that time
- 40:43Speaker 1: of year again, Girl Scout cookie time. That's right. We
- 40:46Speaker 1: talked about this yesterday, right, Uh, Steve, what is your
- 40:49Speaker 1: favorite flavor again of chocolate mint amendments? Yeah? The thin
- 40:55Speaker 1: ments are delicious. Yeah, we'll check this out. A brilliant
- 40:58Speaker 1: Girl Scout UH set up shop right in front of
- 41:01Speaker 1: a pot dispensary in San Diego over the weekend. UH,
- 41:05Speaker 1: and for her efforts, the nine year old girls sold
- 41:07Speaker 1: more than three hundred boxes in six hours. That was
- 41:11Speaker 1: genius set up. She scored roughly about fifteen hundred dollars.
- 41:19Speaker 1: Despite some critical comments. The spokesperson for Girl Scouts San
- 41:22Speaker 1: Diego has confirmed to to the Girl that she did
- 41:26Speaker 1: not technically violate any official Girl Scout codes of conduct,
- 41:31Speaker 1: as she wasn't selling from a booth but from her
- 41:34Speaker 1: wagon on the sidewalk alongside her father. For the record,
- 41:38Speaker 1: the rules vary by state on whether Scouts can take
- 41:40Speaker 1: advantage of legal weed stores. Back in two thousand fourteen, Yeah,
- 41:46Speaker 1: Girl Scouts of Colorado made it clear that it's not allowed.
- 41:49Speaker 1: What scot the opportunity I set up a lemonade thing
- 41:53Speaker 1: right next to her? Yeah? Uh? Anyway, but as I
- 42:02Speaker 1: was saying, back in two thousand fourteen, Girls Scouts of
- 42:04Speaker 1: Colorado made it clear that it's not allowed, but for
- 42:06Speaker 1: Scouts in Oregon. Totally Okay, what do you think about
- 42:10Speaker 1: this one, Steve? Did you have fun uh selling fundraiser
- 42:14Speaker 1: items as a kid? Did you do any of that
- 42:16Speaker 1: as a kid? You were a boy scout, right, weren't
- 42:18Speaker 1: you a boy Scout's National boy Scout today? You were?
- 42:24Speaker 1: Yeah saying that, yeah, all the way we was, we was.
- 42:28Speaker 1: We was damned at thirteen because we didn't have boy Scouts.
- 42:31Speaker 1: We was the biggest cub Scouts. Don't you picture that,
- 42:41Speaker 1: ye scout Scot. My brother was yeah, yeah, we didn't
- 42:46Speaker 1: do good. My daddy was a DN leader. We didn't
- 42:48Speaker 1: do good at all. Say that he didn't have none
- 42:51Speaker 1: of the stuff in the book, like what maybe had
- 42:54Speaker 1: to build them calls our call. Didn't even roll square wheels.
- 43:01Speaker 1: We're supposed to do the cabin trip, lapt in the truck.
- 43:06Speaker 1: We took none of the stuff. He's bolted a little
- 43:09Speaker 1: short here. We had to start a fire. He used
- 43:11Speaker 1: his cigarette lane. Just come on, we got all day
- 43:14Speaker 1: for this, all the scrub and rubbing wood sticks together.
- 43:17Speaker 1: Come on, just light it light it didn't learn. We
- 43:22Speaker 1: didn't learn nothing. Where the shorts? You had the uniform
- 43:24Speaker 1: and then weren't the kid were my friends? Like yo,
- 43:27Speaker 1: daddy don't know you gotto? We have no not time badge?
- 43:33Speaker 1: Our little sashes was empty? Boat boat boat tie your shoe?
- 43:38Speaker 1: Ain't that? If not? How was it? Took a piece
- 43:42Speaker 1: of paper and they didn't on fire? Put it on that?
- 43:43Speaker 1: Come we out all day and those sticks together. It's
- 43:46Speaker 1: cold out here. What about your steve? Did you did
- 43:49Speaker 1: your time? Not? Did you do the fire? No? Man,
- 43:51Speaker 1: we was good. We made the ash trays ball game.
- 43:57Speaker 1: We all you know we could build stuff. You know,
- 43:59Speaker 1: we gold carts. We made our gold cat We knew
- 44:02Speaker 1: how to do that. Yeah, they roll because we had
- 44:05Speaker 1: grocery carts. We go to the grocery store, still the
- 44:07Speaker 1: wheels and take the wheels off and we put them
- 44:11Speaker 1: through the wheels and yeah good. Yeah. Yeah, we made
- 44:16Speaker 1: axles out of reball, going down to a construction site
- 44:19Speaker 1: and take reball. Junior, surely you knew this, this was
- 44:22Speaker 1: easy your your dad could have touched you. What was
- 44:25Speaker 1: the model? No, I daddy didn't have that. Daddy wasn't
- 44:27Speaker 1: involved in it. No, I'm talking about Junior, though. Surely
- 44:31Speaker 1: it was a little You knew that. I know, didn't
- 44:36Speaker 1: We didn't we supposed to. I promised to do my duty,
- 44:40Speaker 1: to do my best something, be prepared, two fingers to
- 44:46Speaker 1: the pledge and everything. Wow, surely were you were girls?
- 44:49Speaker 1: Wasn't a girl? I was a girl, pretty girl. I
- 44:53Speaker 1: was always different. Did you go to charm school anyway?
- 44:58Speaker 1: But really I can't. Yeah, some classes, I mean you
- 45:02Speaker 1: walk with the book on your head for graysons. My
- 45:06Speaker 1: mom made me do that. Yeah, I take nothing. Will
- 45:09Speaker 1: be a good good ding group, either club group. You're
- 45:12Speaker 1: not supposed to be smoking in front of the keys.
- 45:15Speaker 1: Your dad was smoking in front of you ain't supposed

- 54:37Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at forty one after
- 54:41Speaker 1: the hour, our good friend Neo will be here special guest.

- 54:54Speaker 1: we'll talk about marriage, and we'll talk about his hit

- 55:01Speaker 1: All right, Neo, that's gonna be fun. He's here for
- 55:04Speaker 1: a minute. Yeah, all right, Tommy, this time up, hold
- 55:08Speaker 1: on time, we gotta here. It is the Strawberry Letta.
- 55:12Speaker 1: This is my account. Let's go. No, it's not subject
- 55:15Speaker 1: my mom my, Mama. My mom might be a side piece, right,
- 55:23Speaker 1: dear Stephen Shirley And oh hey Tommy, that's what it says.
- 55:28Speaker 1: Hey Tommy, Okay, let's get to it. I don't think so, though.
- 55:35Speaker 1: I think you'll. I think you'll find something different in
- 55:39Speaker 1: this letter. My mom is fifty two years old and
- 55:41Speaker 1: she's been dating this guy for ten years. He's very
- 55:45Speaker 1: good to her. He wines and dines her and spoils
- 55:48Speaker 1: her with gifts and money. He also attends our family
- 55:51Speaker 1: events and holiday celebrations with her. Whenever I need anything,
- 55:56Speaker 1: He's been there for me. So here's my issue. He
- 55:59Speaker 1: lives three hours away, and when he comes to visit
- 56:02Speaker 1: my mom, he rarely stays a full weekend with her
- 56:05Speaker 1: at our at her house. He has two children, but
- 56:09Speaker 1: my mother has never met them. He says he is divorced,
- 56:12Speaker 1: but I don't believe him. My mom has visited him
- 56:15Speaker 1: many times, but she's only stayed at his condo once.
- 56:19Speaker 1: He's a doctor and he works long hours and he's
- 56:22Speaker 1: often on call on the weekend. Because of this, he
- 56:26Speaker 1: insists that he stay at a closer hotel, at a
- 56:29Speaker 1: hotel closer to the hospital, just in case he has
- 56:32Speaker 1: to rush into work. She usually talks to him when
- 56:35Speaker 1: he's at his office, and he always calls from a
- 56:38Speaker 1: blocked number. He rarely calls her from his cell phone.
- 56:42Speaker 1: That just doesn't sound right to me. How is my
- 56:45Speaker 1: mom okay with that? And why does she get upset?
- 56:48Speaker 1: Why doesn't Why does she get upset when I bring
- 56:51Speaker 1: it up? My mom is a very smart woman, and
- 56:54Speaker 1: she's usually a great judge of character. So Code Cracker,
- 56:58Speaker 1: please tell me how I can get through to mom.
- 57:00Speaker 1: I don't want her to waste another ten years of
- 57:03Speaker 1: her life on this man. Please help. Well, I gotta
- 57:06Speaker 1: tell you this, daughter. Uh, you love your mom, that's
- 57:09Speaker 1: quite obvious. Uh. You want the best for your mom,
- 57:12Speaker 1: just like I'm sure your mom would want the best
- 57:14Speaker 1: for you as her daughter. But this is your mom's
- 57:18Speaker 1: business and you're her daughter. You know you're gonna have
- 57:21Speaker 1: to stay out of your mom's business. Um, you can
- 57:24Speaker 1: suggest and and let her know how you feel, but
- 57:27Speaker 1: this is your mom's issue. I mean, you know what's up.
- 57:31Speaker 1: I think you're very insightful as a daughter. Guess what
- 57:34Speaker 1: your mom knows what's up to? She really does, she knows,
- 57:37Speaker 1: but after being in it for ten years. And yeah,
- 57:41Speaker 1: she's known it for quite some time. Ten years. She
- 57:44Speaker 1: she's in it. Okay, she's used to it. She doesn't
- 57:47Speaker 1: want to stop it. She doesn't want to leave, she
- 57:50Speaker 1: doesn't want to change her life. This is a life
- 57:52Speaker 1: she's come accustomed to. She's she's become accustomed to and
- 57:55Speaker 1: grown into. She's comfortable with this life. As parents, yes,
- 57:59Speaker 1: we said exam puples for our kids, we do. Your daughter. Uh,
- 58:03Speaker 1: you as her daughter, You're you're seeing her actions loudly
- 58:06Speaker 1: and clearly. You're wondering where her self respect is. You're
- 58:09Speaker 1: wondering how and why she signed up for this situation. Uh. Yeah,
- 58:13Speaker 1: it sounds clear that this man is married. She your
- 58:16Speaker 1: mom has never met his kids after ten years. Uh,
- 58:19Speaker 1: you know, the hotel situation where he stays, the excuse
- 58:23Speaker 1: he gives her for staying at the hotel. All of
- 58:25Speaker 1: that sounds like this is a married man and your
- 58:28Speaker 1: mom is a side piece. But only your mom can decide,
- 58:32Speaker 1: you know, whether or not she wants to get out.
- 58:34Speaker 1: All you can do is her daughter, is suggested, But
- 58:36Speaker 1: you know she's a mom. You're the daughter. You gotta
- 58:38Speaker 1: stay out of her business, Steve, Well, my mom made
- 58:44Speaker 1: me the side piece. Well wow, all right, let's just
- 58:49Speaker 1: get into the letter. Your mama fitted two years old,
- 58:52Speaker 1: she grown, she knows what's going on. She's been dating
- 58:55Speaker 1: a guy for ten years. He's very good to her.
- 58:59Speaker 1: He winds and danes, spoils and with gifts and money.
- 59:03Speaker 1: He also now here's. He also attends our family events
- 59:07Speaker 1: and holiday celebrations with her. That is a usually a
- 59:14Speaker 1: telltale sign that a man is married. When you never
- 59:17Speaker 1: see him at the family events, and you never see
- 59:20Speaker 1: him at the holiday celebrations, that's usually the telltale sign.
- 59:28Speaker 1: But he's at these events, and I know why. Okay,
- 59:34Speaker 1: he attends all the family events I need. Whenever I
- 59:37Speaker 1: need anything, he's been there for me. So here's my issue.
- 59:42Speaker 1: He lives three hours away. When he comes to visit
- 59:47Speaker 1: my mom, he rarely stays a full weekend with her
- 59:49Speaker 1: at her house. He has two children, but my mother
- 59:53Speaker 1: has never met them. He says he's divorced, but I
- 59:56Speaker 1: don't believe him. My mom has visited him many times,
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: but she's only stayed at his condo wants he's a doctor,
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: he works long hours, and he's often on calls on
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: the weekend. Because of this, he insists that he stayed
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: at a hotel closer to the hospital just in case
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: he has to rush you into work. Good doctor, Now,
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: let's stop right here. Let's just back up a little bit.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: If he's so concerned with being called in to work
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: that before he stays at the HoTT Hopital hotel closer
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: to the hospital, why didn't he buy his condo so
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: far away from the hospital. If that's your concern, you
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: would have bought a house closer to the damn hospital.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: But it's only a concern when you come to visit
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: and you've been to the condo once. That's because all
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: the coast was clear that one time. He lives three
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: hours away. When he visits, he rarely stays a full
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: weekend because he didn't told somebody he on call down
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: at the hospital. That's what that is. He attends family's
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: boots and holiday celebrations with her because he's a doctor,
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: and you can say I'm on call, I'm working over
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: the holidays, so you can make it if you a doctor. Now,
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: somebody back at the house has had to understand this
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: because they are the beneficiary of a wonderful lifestyle, so
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: they're putting up with it. Now, your mama is also
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: a beneficiary of a wonderful lifestyle, so she putting up
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: with it. I want you to know that everybody knows
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: what's going on except his wife. Oh did I say what?
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: Everybody knows what's going on except the why. Yeah, mom
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: certainly knows. Feedback dismay, just killing this man life, perfect life.
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: We'll be back in twenty three after the hours. You're
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Morning Show. Coming up in about
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: twenty minutes. As promised, Neo and Neo will be our
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: special guest Neo in the building. But let's go, Steve,
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: come on to get back to this letter. Unlike who
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: is not the thanking this person I've ever met? Thinking,
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: who was insisting that I'm killing this man's wonderful life.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: I totally disagree. I just hope you don't have any
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: medical assistance this This man's life will continue just the
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: way it is because the only one that has to
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: keep going along with this is this letter writer's mama,
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: who is fifty two years old, who already know what's
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: going on and the reason she's angry with her daughter.
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: When her daughter brings it up, she gets upset because
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: now you know what she knows, and she don't want
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: to deal with it with you. She wants to deal
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: with this problem in situation all her own. This man
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: is giving her lifestyle moments of happiness that she's unable
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: to find anywhere else. And she'll never find it anywhere
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: else because you'll never be able to meet Mr Wright.
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: Why are you dating Mr? Wrong? So look, Tommy, regardless
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: as to how you want to put this, let me
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: try to save your marriage for you mess this your
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: stupid as just shut up. It is because he he
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: always want to be supportive of the cheetah. Then when
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: one of them getting busted, now he's looking all crazy
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: to talking about what he did wrong. This man right here,
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: this fifty two year old woman. No, what's going on
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: with this? Ten years of dating a divorce man and
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: you ain't met his kids yet? In ten years? You
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: mean that none of the holiday and none of the
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: family reunions, family events have you met? Just what do
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: you want? What do the cheering have to do with
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: their relationship? That is cheering the cheering. It's just another
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: issue which solidifies what the daughter is thinking, that something
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: is wrong that you dated a man for ten years
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: and never met his kids and he divorced. You would
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: think a man who was in love with you would
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: want to say, hey, kids, I want you all to
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: meet this woman that i'm in love with. I'm considering
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: having a life with her. But he ain't gonna make
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: that announcement because he can't have a life with her
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: because he got a life with the mama. Joe stupid,
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: said the man right now. Now, whatever I needed anything,
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: he's always been there for me. That's why you've let
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: it go on so long. Oh letter, right, and you
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: got something to do with this too, because it was
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: good to you. Now you've got a little bit older
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: and you're ready to stop. But the problem is it's
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: easy for you to stop be cause you ain't in
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: love with the doctor, but your mama is. Though the
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: fact that he lives three away, three hours away, ain't
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: got nothing doing. He said he divorced, but I don't
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: believe him. Your mama don't know. Your mama know he
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: ain't divorce, but your mama liked what she's he's a doctor,
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: he worked long now a good doctor. Why does she
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: get upset when I bring it up? I told you
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: that my mom is a very smart woman. Not when
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: she's thinking with her heart, only when she's thinking with
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: her head. Is she's small? So cold? Cracker? Please tell
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: me how I can get this through to this my mom?
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: You can't your mom in love? Your mama noticed. I
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: got news for you. Your mama actually smarter than you aint.
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: Until you get sick and tired of being sick and tired,
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: ain't nothing gonna change you, ain't, Craig, no, damn co
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: All right, Steve, listen, we gotta go well enough alone,

- 1:07:38Speaker 1: a short period of time. Is he one of them
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: doctors where you can get some Obamacare offer? Obamacare to
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: come on, Steve, you cracked the code and all my
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: relationships because I am the problem, Lord, problem trying to

- 1:11:03Speaker 1: All right, man, So who all is in the family

- 1:11:16Speaker 1: yet for a little man. We're still working on that.
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: But yeah, this this will be four for me and
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: the Lord willingness to be this would be it Baby Chicago,
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: just throwing that out there, all right. Yeah, um well
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: this one won't be called los Angele. Yeah, probably not.
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: He was born in Vegas, Vegas. Yeah, but see, I
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: love my kids, so I don't want to do nothing.
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: I can't do them like that. I can't call my
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: child Vegas. Baby Vegas would be the god child. This
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: baby keep gamblingbody, just assume I have a gambling issue.
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: That's why, you know, that's why my name is Baby Vegas.
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: Gam with all his money away, you know that, because
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: I owe him so damn. Hey man, let's talk about
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: this new album. Man. This album is called good Man.
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: It's gonna be released this summer. The title track good Man,
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: It's gonna debut today right here on the Steve Harvey Morner.
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: Sohow tell us about the new music? Man? Well, all right, So,
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: to be completely transparent, I am thirty eight years old.
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: I am a grown ass man at this point, and
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: my priorities have absolutely changed. Um you know, I mean,
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: you know, don't get me wrong. Going to the club
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: and all that is cool and indoses. But now it's indoses,
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: you know, because I went the other night and I'm
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: in there, like, what was fun about this? Ya? Do anything?
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: Can somebody reminds me what's fun? Watching people watch you? Bottles? Okay? Cool?
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: And a little do the should dances? All right, let's
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: go home, Let's go I'm so so now I'm in
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: I'm in another place man. And and uh now, for me,
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: it's about being a good father to my kids, being
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: a good husband to my wife. Is just trying to
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: be a good person to the world. Man, Like I
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: feel like I feel like we need right now. I
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: feel like very much in the realm of what I
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: was trying to do with you and the gentlemen. Uh us,
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: as men, we've forgotten a little bit how to treat
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: these ladies once again. So I'm trying to trying to
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: leave by example yet again. Now let me let me
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: let me clear something up, because a lot of people
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: will say something like, well, how are you gonna call
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: yourself a good man? What? What makes you so? What
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: makes you so perfect? It's not that I'm perfect. I
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: am not perfect. I have made my mistakes. I've owned
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: up to my mistakes. But the good man learns from
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: his mistakes and doesn't make those mistakes again. That's what
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: it is again, trying to leave by example. So this
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: first single, uh, this this song came from the first
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: conversation to me and my my wife ever had. I
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: don't know our first date. I told her right then.
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: I was like, listen, I know that it's common for
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: everybody to come to come forward with their representative, but
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: I don't want that. I want you to give me
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: all the ugly. I want you to give me all
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: the grit right now, everything about you that you feel
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: like could be a deal breaker. I want you to
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: lay it all out right now, and I'm gonna do
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: the same thing. So we both did that, and uh,
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: this song is basically basically the list of things that
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: she told me was a no go in the related
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: ship in reverse. That's that's pretty much something like that. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: I couldn't lay out all of them. There we go
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: forever I had, I had it with whole sole information
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: walked away. It was not It was not the most
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: comfortable conversation I've ever had. It wasn't. It wasn't, but
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: but it it helps because at the end of the day,
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: you know, once once all the old love is dirty drawers,
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: once that wears off, and now you just got him.
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: You know, I put it all out the upfront, so
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: it wasn't no surprise that, oh you are a little
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: bit of a slide. Okay, yeah you did tell me that. Alright, Well,
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: I I guess I got to deal with it since
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: you since you was honest about it. But that's that's
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: a great place to be in. I think that a
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: lot of coming from you at thirty eight years old.
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: I think it's important for other men to hear this.
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: Oh man, you know that's professing his love for his girl,
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: trying to be the best fat and husband that he
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: cared because that's like, it's so not the message that's
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: put out there and so much other music today. It's
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: the other thing. You know. I'm a player for life,
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: player until I die. You know, I got three girls.
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: I do threesomes at all less. I guess all that
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: good if you twenty, But at third eight, it's time
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: to start coming on end. You know, it's likely you
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: know said this one time. Have you ever seen have
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: you ever looked and seen an old horse out in
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: the field. Now, the young stallions behind him up on,
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: they really they're out there prowncing. But the old horse
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: that's in the field, he don't look good. That's cause
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: he needs to come on into the barn. It's nice
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: in the barn. You can't stay in the feet. It's
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: warming the barn. The hay is right there. You ain't
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: got the man going in the barn, bro, So you
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: ain't got none top proved no more Bro. In this
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: segment we've talked about threesomes and horses in the barn
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: because he kind of see go for that three songs,
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: You just dropped it out there quickly as time, as
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: time progresses, you realize that that whole threesome thing is
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: just a whole lot of work. That the story. I mean,
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: don't you working around, y'all, stick around. We got the
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: lead single coming up good Man. Yeah, we got more
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: with Neo right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: All right, here we are with our special guest family member.

- 1:17:46Speaker 1: I want to be each other with oh I'm talking
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: baby to seeing color tip oh, and I forgot to
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: take this let the world wait. I want to wear
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: like the metal, telling that I'm spoken for a fellow.
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: He's saying hello like the more they want to be away.
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: I do everything with my left I know you see it.
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: Try and listen, baby. I ain't know when that's perfect,
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: but I promise a promise to make it all worthy,
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: giving you the thing to be the men you deserve,
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: and making sure you smiling. Wait more than you hurt,
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: and take it my son, and here you mean it out.
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: I'm minding you how bad you are, a leg shaking,
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: making love and making sure you want day that it'sa planned.
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: So I just want to be good, make good man
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: to the good. That's all. I want it so bad.
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: So I just want to make good man too good.
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: All I want song of man baby, so love truth, truth,
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: whole damn truth. And they're leaving at the post I
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: know gonna upset truth and were doing things that I
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: ain't got no bitiness doing when your ground, when you're
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: not around, I respect you. When I would never make
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: a fool, not your baby, blue Low, No, I never
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: make a fool, not your baby, I'm making sure you
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: can trust me. Be on the shadow over downs, the wind,
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: the Browns running up on you with my naming name
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: out your tello. You can be gone with all that,
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: because you know where we got this be up and
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: all that. You know we got that real thing gonna
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: be that. I've take out some hate thing, but we're
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: gonna be all right. Be on me, all right, making
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: love about that every fu girl from the day. I'll
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: put that ring upon your hand in the front of
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: friends and family. And I had a plan in the
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: place to God make good mate. That's all I me.
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: Some maabing so may said, I want to could make
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: good man. I want love said, I want to be
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: baby hollo maybe oh la la la la la la,
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: oh baby, want to be a good Maye to your
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: baby baby. Yeah, by you, by you whatever, look good? Yeah,
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: the word thank you? Oh here you go pick up
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: to collab. All right. I just want to be a
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: good man, good man. You do everything with my left
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: that's it. Yeah. So you can see this ring and
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: see it, Yes, this in your face. Yeah that's what
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: I said. Okay, this boy wrote a song. I do
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: everything with my left handed. I was supposed to be
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: this a long time ago, been to man, I love
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: the way you, I love the way you wrote the
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: song man, because you just don't hear that you know
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: me and talking about just being a good man. I
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: want to take care of you, do the things I'm
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: supposed to. I don't want to. I don't want to
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: shame me and bash you nowhere. So considering what's going
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: on right now with this one, got caught over with
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: this sexual harassment and this and that, I felt like
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: it was time. I felt like I felt like I'm
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: I'm writing the right place with this one. Just just
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: you know, let it be knowing that we all, all
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: of us ain't messed up, ladies, not all of us.
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: It's just a few of us, not all of us.
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: I'm a good man. It's a cool handful of us
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: out there trying to do it right right and you
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: know sometimes look, man, when you're a younger man, you
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: make mistakes, you know, But but me and get it
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: right all the time. Like I've often said, I said
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: this on the show the other day, all me and
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: can change, all me and will change. But there's only
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: one woman that we're gonna change for. It's just one.
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: Everybody else here it is. You know, you just get
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: what it is, but you you when you meet the
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: write one, then you come up with a song like
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: this that's very real. I'm just trying to be a
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: good man because you and the album itself is kind
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: of these because I don't want I don't want people
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: to feel like again that I'm trying to say I'm
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: better than anybody else holy and then that perfect anything
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: like that, because Lord knows, I ain't so that. The
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: album is kind of the journey of a good man,
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: because no, no man is born a good man. You
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: gotta you gotta you know, you gotta go through some things.
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: You gotta you know, some herds gotta get broken. You
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: gotta get your heart broken a few times in order
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: to get to that place, you know. So I feel
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: like I'm here now, and yeah, album comes out this summer.
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: Y'all stick around. We got more with Neo right after this.
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: You're listening, I try. We're back with our special guest
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: Neo this morning, having a great time. Huh listened, Hey,
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: let's talk about the NBC's World of Dance because you
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: Hold Step with Jennifer Lopez. Season two is coming up.
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: It returns just somemer. What can we expect from new season? Well,
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: if you love season one, you're gonna absolutely love season two.
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: We basically took everything that was right with season one
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: and just upgraded it. So it's it's the talent is
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: off the charts. Of course, I'm a judge. Jennifer Lopez
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: a judge. Derek Huffer's judge Jenna da Wanna Tatum host
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: the show, and yeah, man, it's it's the biggest and
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: best dance competition and TV show on the planet. Uh.
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: Only the best of the best get to touch that
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: stage and and you know, for the viewing pleasure of
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: everybody just get to check it out. So it's it's
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: gonna be fantastic. Make sure you check forward. I think
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: we're coming in May. Yeah, I think I'm excited about
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: You had something that was bothering you. Well, it's not
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: bothering me, Steve, but I will say this, Neil, you
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: are the star of the two thousand eighteen Lincoln Navigator commercial.
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: So here's my question. This is one Steve says that's
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: bothering me. So are you gonna be bringing the sexy
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: like we all love the Matthew McConaughey commercial. He's so
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: cool with it and everything. So, um, are you gonna
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: be bringing the sexy? Well, I mean I try to.
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: I try to sprinkle a little sexy on everything I do,
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: just at least just a little bit, you know, just
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: enough sexy. That said that everybody involved can get involved.
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: You know what I'm talking about. You know, so you
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: ain't you ain't gotta you ain't gotta you ain't gotta
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: send the kids away with his night's all right, you know,
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: while at the same time, while at the same time,
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: you as a grown woman, can appreciate what's going on.
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: That's that's why where I try to leave it at.
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: So this commercial will be no exception. It shows, it
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: shows kind of shows both parts of my life. It
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: shows Neil the entertainer and then Neo, you know, the
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: husband and father, you know, and just how how Lincoln
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: navigated can be a part of all of that. I'm
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: sexy just like that, I'm that same sexy, right anybody
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: ever asked you that time that question that she just asked,
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: Neil's gonna bring the sexy like Matthew mcconneugh, you know, yeah,
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: I get that on like Matthew mcconnaughe had that level. Yeah,
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: Matt mcgreg walking walking your truth. Brother's all right, thank you,
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: thank you. But out of all the things you do, Neo,
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: I mean, you're doing so much, what's the much fun
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: for you? You know what, I don't think anything to
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: lever trump to music. It's always gonna be music music
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: first for me. I mean I love World of Dance,
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: I love you know, NBC treat me real good over there,
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: um um. But I'm also I'm also doing some more
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: some some some more acting and whatnot. So the YouTube
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: read is basically YouTube's version of Netflix, and they just
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: released a series. It's called Step Up High Water. They
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: basically took the you know, the Step Up films and
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: dance films, turn them into a series. Uh. The story
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: is about this cat's name is My character's name is
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: Sage Odom. Uh. He's an older artist, you know, the
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: sold millions of records toward the world and all of
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: that goes back to the Landing where he's from and
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: builds a performing arts high school. And it's about the
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: kids in the high school and just the drama that ensues.
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: So that's that's out on YouTube Red right now, if
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: you go to YouTube you get the first four episodes
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: for free, and then the other six you gotta you
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: gotta subscribe to YouTube Red to get. But I guarantee
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: it's definitely something that you should check out. And I'm
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: trying to acting thing. I mean, I want to get to.
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: I want to get to that behind the scenes thing
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: I want to I want to get to directing and
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: writing scripts and stuff like that. I'm in the process
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: of learning how to properly do that before I get
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: out there and embarrass himself or doing Amen. Listen, congratulations
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: on everything man, much continued success. Say hello to the
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: Family Force and the new album good Man. Everybody releases
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: this summer. We're gonna be looking for ladies and gentlemen
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: the man Neo. Alright, y'all, so will be back. We
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: got more of this hot show right after this, and
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: we'll be back with sexy Ass Tom. You're listening Steve
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. A right, Steve, listen, we have an
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: exciting trip planned for this year. Tell them about it. WHOA,
- 1:27:34Speaker 1: Let's get your mind right. Steve Harvey then pulled it off.
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: I heard y'all last year saying and sold what you wanted,
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: how you felt about it. Everybody had a great time,
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: but I said, okay, cool this on this trip, leave
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: your wallets at the house because everything is all inclusive.
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: This year the same the Soul Festival weekend. Uh it
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: is August thirty through September three. This year that's Labor

- 1:31:21Speaker 1: All right? Here we are at the final break of
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: the day with just one more thing. Steve's closing remarks,
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: what do you have for us? Say? What do you
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: have for us today? Sir? Today? I thought i'd talked
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: to you about something with a with a little bit
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: different angle to it. It's gonna be positive, but I
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: want to talk to you about something that many people
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: consider negative. I want to talk to you today about
- 1:31:46Speaker 1: disappointment because I think that we all have to grapple
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: with disappointment from time to time. All the problem with
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: disappointment is that disappointment also if you don't understand it,
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: disappointment can turn so ugly so fast. Too many people
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: allow disappointment to turn into resentment. Too many people allow
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: disappointment to turn into a final uh verdict, so to speak.
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: In other words, you know, so many people think that
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: this disappointment uh for them symbolizes the end. When you
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: allow for disappointment to turn into resentment, and you allow
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: disappointment to turn into the final verdict, you're losing what
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: disappointment actually can become for you. And I want you
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: all to start looking at disappointment as motivation. How many
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: times have you been faced with something that was disappointing?
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: Le say, you go in to get a job and
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: you're on your last interview, and I have been in
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: this position. Man. I was trying to get an insurance
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: job one time years ago, and I went in and
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: I had gotten going through about three or four interviews.
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: I was at my final interview and I said, man,
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: I'm about to get this job. Man, get my little
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: family together, I'll be all right. And got to that interview,
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: and they told me no. And the reason they gave
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: me for not hiring me was I had moved too
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: many times over the past seven years and that represented
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: it to their company, a sign of unstableness. That disappointment
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: for me was gut wrenching. I actually got in my car,
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: my little seventy two Chevy, and I was driving off
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: Man and and tears was in my eyes when I
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: got up on the freeway and I drove back and
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: I looked back over at that big building with that
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: big powerful name on it, and I had gone through
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: four interviews and I and all of a sudden, I
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: was so disappointed and not got getting higher. But you
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: know what I learned to do though, from that moment on,
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: I turned all my disappointment into motivation. I said, Okay,
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: now this might not be right for everybody, but I
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: use it as a challenge. I use all my disappointments
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: as okay, I'll show you. I use them all this motivation.
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: From the time my teacher told me that you ain't
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: gonna never be nothing, that there's no way they'll put
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: somebody like you on TV because you have a stuttering
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: problem and you can't even talk, I said, Okay, but
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: who are you who is issuing out this disappointment? Because
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: you're not gonna make me resent you and you're not
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: gonna cause me to think that you're denying me this opportunity.
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: Are you handing me this bad news of disappointment. I'm
- 1:34:57Speaker 1: not going to allow you to be my fine an
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: a verdict. You will not be the truth teller in
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: my life. You are not going to be the person
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: who who are who is the author of my destiny?
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: You are not it that belongs to God, not you,
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: and I will not give that to anyone. So when
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: you're facing disappointment, do not hand that disappointment over to
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: the person who gave it to you in the form
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: of empowerment. Do not allow them to to to control
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: your destiny with this one piece of disappointment that causes
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: you to go into such resentment that you become bitter
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: that all of a sudden, now all you think about
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: is that, and you be getting you developed this nasty attitude.
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: You don't have to do that, and you also don't
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: have to let them become the final verdict. They are
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: not the author of your destiny. They are not the
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: author of your future. They are not that belongs to
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: God and only God. Don't let them trip you up.
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: And I'm saying this because I've had many, many, many disappointments.
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: You ain't this. You ain't that. I've had shows canceled,
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: gigs taken, I've been fired from radio, I've been all
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: that at I've had some disappointing setbacks. But let me
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: tell you something I've learned to do. I've learned to
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: take all those setbacks and use them as motivation. And
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: I just quietly say to myself, you ain't my God.
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: You ain't the author of my destiny. You didn't create me,
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: You don't know me. You you have no say so
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: in the real outcome of who I'm going to be
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: and what I'm going to turn myself into. It's not you.
- 1:36:48Speaker 1: And I'll not give you the power to do that
- 1:36:51Speaker 1: to me. You who think you have the power by
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: telling me no, by turning me down, by refusing me,
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: by voting against me, by saying that I'm not the
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: right one for the part. They're saying that your company
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: don't need a person like me, by telling me that
- 1:37:06Speaker 1: I represent an unstable person, by telling me that I
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: don't have what it takes no, no, no, no no,
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: it's just because you don't know, because you don't know
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: what God really has for me, and that ain't your fault.
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: So why bear resentment for these people who are causing
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: this disappointment in your life? You don't have to do
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: that because they are not the author of your destiny.
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: And don't you dare give them that. You take that
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: disappointment and you use it as the motivation. I feel
- 1:37:42Speaker 1: sorry for people who tell me no, because you know what,
- 1:37:44Speaker 1: I know. I know they just don't know what God
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: has for me. Keep it right outitude, y'all. God got
- 1:37:51Speaker 1: something for you through all your disappointment. Y'all have a
