- 1:46Speaker 1: the water, the water go. Come come on your back
- 1:59Speaker 1: that uh huh, I shall will. Good morning everybody. You're
- 2:06Speaker 1: listening to the voice, come on dig me now? Wanting
- 2:08Speaker 1: only Steve Harvey. Man oh man got a radio show? Yeah,
- 2:12Speaker 1: I do. God so big to me, Man, I just
- 2:15Speaker 1: have to tell you about it. I can't help it.
- 2:18Speaker 1: It's rather obvious to me how big, how good God is.
- 2:23Speaker 1: He's absolutely tremendous. He's off the chain. He owned one,
- 2:30Speaker 1: he'd be clowning, he'd be just showing out. Man. I'm
- 2:34Speaker 1: just over here, just on receiving it. You know, Man,
- 2:38Speaker 1: I want to share something with you today. You know,
- 2:41Speaker 1: if you're out there, start your mission today, Start your
- 2:46Speaker 1: mission today? What are you waiting for? Why do we
- 2:53Speaker 1: as people delay what we want or delay the process
- 3:01Speaker 1: to be gared what we want, our hopes, our dreams,
- 3:05Speaker 1: our desires. Why won't you start your mission today? Why
- 3:10Speaker 1: don't we all decide together better? Yet? Let's just kill
- 3:15Speaker 1: that coaujunt that just individually. Look you listening, you got
- 3:20Speaker 1: something that you've been dreaming about. You got an ambition
- 3:23Speaker 1: of yours that's not yet fulfilled. You got goals you
- 3:26Speaker 1: haven't accomplished yet. You got dreams, aspirations. Everybody has them.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Everybody's got them. Everybody's got something that's that's on the
- 3:36Speaker 1: table that they haven't yet attacked yet. What are you
- 3:39Speaker 1: waiting for? Start your mission to day? Stop the procrastination now,
- 3:44Speaker 1: the procrastination is only hurting you yourself. And if you
- 3:50Speaker 1: and if you allow practical excuse men, if you allow
- 3:52Speaker 1: procrastination to set in, then that that allows then which
- 3:59Speaker 1: is a weakness, you know, but that allows the devil
- 4:02Speaker 1: then to just really do his thing. Because an idle
- 4:05Speaker 1: mind is the devil's playground. So if you ain't working
- 4:08Speaker 1: on your goal's dreams, aspirations or visions, and you just
- 4:12Speaker 1: waking up seeing how today gonna go, or the devil
- 4:14Speaker 1: he got plenty for it for you to do. See,
- 4:17Speaker 1: But if you get your mind right on your goal
- 4:20Speaker 1: and your focus and your purpose. Then you can go
- 4:22Speaker 1: on about your business. Then when the distraction comes, you
- 4:25Speaker 1: can catch yourself. Now that don't mean you ain't gonna
- 4:28Speaker 1: fall privy or fall prey to some of your distractions,
- 4:31Speaker 1: because you will, but you will have a goal in mind,
- 4:35Speaker 1: an aspiration that makes you go hold on, man, I
- 4:37Speaker 1: got to stay focused here because what I really want
- 4:40Speaker 1: while I'm really trying to go the thing that I'm
- 4:42Speaker 1: really after, this new little thing that's being introduced, this
- 4:47Speaker 1: don't fit into the equation. Man. Let me keep it moving,
- 4:51Speaker 1: or you may step off the line for a little while.
- 4:53Speaker 1: You know, Like I said yesterday, your thing about God
- 4:56Speaker 1: is he's so forgiving that if you get out of line,
- 4:58Speaker 1: he'll hold your place. See that's the real cool thing.
- 5:01Speaker 1: A lot of people to do that for you too.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Like I said, if you're at the movie theater or
- 5:04Speaker 1: you're at the amusement park and you're in the line
- 5:06Speaker 1: and you forget something, if you politely ask the person
- 5:09Speaker 1: behind you, hey, man, I gotta run to my car
- 5:11Speaker 1: left something, would you hold my place? Most people say, fine,
- 5:14Speaker 1: you gotta go ahead, and when you come back, they
- 5:16Speaker 1: don't have a problem. See, your problem is is you
- 5:18Speaker 1: want to get out the line, go do something, then
- 5:21Speaker 1: come back and just get up in the line further
- 5:23Speaker 1: up than you were, or cut somebody. Now you got
- 5:26Speaker 1: a problem because see everybody looking at you now like hey,
- 5:28Speaker 1: wall partner, where you come from? You know the line
- 5:31Speaker 1: start back here? But see the thing with God is
- 5:34Speaker 1: God don't do that. God don't say the line start
- 5:37Speaker 1: back here. God holds your place. When you make a
- 5:40Speaker 1: mistake and you fall off the line, God holds your place.
- 5:43Speaker 1: But if you ain't got no dreams aspiration, if you
- 5:46Speaker 1: ain't got no place, what he holding for you? See,
- 5:50Speaker 1: I mean he got a place for you, but you
- 5:52Speaker 1: gotta come to him. See some people if well, here's
- 5:56Speaker 1: what I'm saying. If you got a goal or aspiration
- 5:59Speaker 1: to dream and you fall off track momentarily, you can
- 6:03Speaker 1: get back to that because God knows where you're left off.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Now you may have to accomplish a few more things
- 6:10Speaker 1: since you stop for a long period of time, but
- 6:12Speaker 1: God know where you left off. You can get back
- 6:14Speaker 1: on track. I look, man, this dream of being on
- 6:18Speaker 1: TV since I was a kid, and it got off track.
- 6:21Speaker 1: Now it got off track. I just kept it as
- 6:24Speaker 1: one of the dreams and in some real dog moments
- 6:27Speaker 1: when it looked like it wasn't gonna happen. All I
- 6:31Speaker 1: was hanging on too, was just the hope that one
- 6:33Speaker 1: day it could. But that's what faith is really about.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Faith is the belief in things that you cannot see.
- 6:41Speaker 1: But faith gives you the confidence to keep hoping. Man.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Sometimes it just keep hope alive. Sometimes you heard Jesse
- 6:49Speaker 1: Jackson said, just keep hope alive. Sometimes, man, it's just
- 6:52Speaker 1: the hope. I was hanging on the hope. And I'm
- 6:57Speaker 1: talking about when it got real ugly funky out there
- 7:00Speaker 1: for me, when it looked like I wasn't gonna ever
- 7:03Speaker 1: make it, and all of the facts was in and
- 7:06Speaker 1: everything pointed in the direction you're not gonna make it.
- 7:10Speaker 1: You didn't really messed up this time. Then I sat
- 7:13Speaker 1: there and I just hung on to the hope. But man,
- 7:17Speaker 1: that's what I'm saying. If you got a dream on
- 7:20Speaker 1: aspiration of vision or something, when you fall off track
- 7:24Speaker 1: and you want to go get back in line, God
- 7:27Speaker 1: holds your place. See. He held on to that for me.
- 7:31Speaker 1: He knew I was off tracking how the line, but
- 7:33Speaker 1: he said, okay, here's where we stopped. You want to
- 7:36Speaker 1: be on TV that when you get it together and
- 7:38Speaker 1: you quit tripping and you come in your turn to me,
- 7:41Speaker 1: I'm gonna hold your place, put you back in line.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Then we're gonna finish your journey. That took me a
- 7:45Speaker 1: lot longer to get here than I wanted to, but
- 7:47Speaker 1: then it was necessary because I needed all of the
- 7:50Speaker 1: mishaps to happen to me along the way. So when
- 7:52Speaker 1: I got on the radio one day, which I did
- 7:55Speaker 1: not see coming, Steve Harvey got a radio show, y'all.
- 7:58Speaker 1: That's why I say it every day. See, because of
- 8:00Speaker 1: this radio show that I didn't see coming. Now I
- 8:03Speaker 1: have stories to tell, I got experiences to share, and
- 8:08Speaker 1: I can tell you about me better than I can
- 8:09Speaker 1: tell you about anybody. And I haven't been through enough
- 8:13Speaker 1: whereas relatable, where enough people can go. Man, that happened
- 8:17Speaker 1: to me. Appreciate you saying that that's what it was for. See,
- 8:20Speaker 1: I get it now. See at the time, though I
- 8:22Speaker 1: didn't like what was happening to me. At the time,
- 8:26Speaker 1: I was really in total disagreement with God on a
- 8:28Speaker 1: lot of stuff he was pulling off on me. But
- 8:31Speaker 1: in essence I was really pulling it off on myself.
- 8:34Speaker 1: But through his grace and mercy. He kept me through
- 8:37Speaker 1: all of my mistakes, all my bad decisions, all my miscalculations,
- 8:42Speaker 1: all my misfires, all the times I knowingly stepped out
- 8:46Speaker 1: there indeed wrong. He forgave me, He said, because man,
- 8:51Speaker 1: if you ever come to me, I have a plan
- 8:54Speaker 1: for you that it is going to be far and above.
- 8:58Speaker 1: It will supersede everything you've ever dreamed of. That's what
- 9:02Speaker 1: I did. I just got sick on me, good and
- 9:05Speaker 1: sick of me, and I turned it over to God.
- 9:08Speaker 1: And then God started working and here I am today.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Now see threw it me yet? Nope? Have I arrived yet? Nope?
- 9:17Speaker 1: But guess what the journey is cool? And then you
- 9:22Speaker 1: know what I found out. That's kind of what it's
- 9:24Speaker 1: like in life. If you don't walked off the cliff
- 9:28Speaker 1: in life and you ain't got no God in your life,
- 9:31Speaker 1: it's like not having a parachute. You step off the
- 9:35Speaker 1: cliff and you just free falling. Now see we all
- 9:39Speaker 1: now that fall gets you closer to the grave, right, See,
- 9:42Speaker 1: we all heading to the grave from the moment we're born.
- 9:45Speaker 1: But the cool thing about a relationship with God is
- 9:47Speaker 1: when you step off the cliff and you got God
- 9:50Speaker 1: here a parachute. You're still going down, but it's a
- 9:54Speaker 1: nice ride. You guide, and you're glad, and you're softly,
- 9:58Speaker 1: you enjoying your look around and you're smiling. You're meeting
- 10:01Speaker 1: other people along the way. You're floating over here to
- 10:05Speaker 1: skie a little while. You over there at the beach
- 10:07Speaker 1: for a little while you mess around over here, you
- 10:10Speaker 1: get to go out the country a little bit on
- 10:12Speaker 1: your parachuting all and God just helps your your descent
- 10:16Speaker 1: appear more like a rise and then more like a
- 10:19Speaker 1: uphoric fall, instead of not having no God in your
- 10:23Speaker 1: life and you just walking off that cliff every day,
- 10:26Speaker 1: free falling. Ain't got no core, You steady pulling, you
- 10:30Speaker 1: hauling the whole way because you to mess around with
- 10:33Speaker 1: yourself and ain't let God come into your life and
- 10:35Speaker 1: provide a parachute for you. I would rather have a
- 10:39Speaker 1: parachute since I got to jump every day, than to
- 10:42Speaker 1: not have one. God has been like a parachute from me.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Ask me why where that came from? I can't tell you.
- 10:51Speaker 1: But like I always say, most good things that happened
- 10:53Speaker 1: in my life that I can't explain, it's usually him
- 10:57Speaker 1: you're listening, ladies and gentlemen. Steve Harvey Morning Show is
- 11:05Speaker 1: on on the radio. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. Why
- 11:18Speaker 1: does he get in the opening? Heaven E Funny introduce

- 12:25Speaker 1: was all the radio show, but he soul. It all
- 12:40Speaker 1: began to combo, ring flood above his bivery eye. JAVIDY Brown,
- 12:55Speaker 1: you are telling, telling, telling the tree and finely the
- 13:04Speaker 1: oldest fooling. He has the numb boo one show old
- 13:15Speaker 1: old this year right now had soul. This is the
- 13:27Speaker 1: nerd you good morning. Your eyes voice change and you
- 13:36Speaker 1: give me that type of intro. You had that Danny
- 13:42Speaker 1: boy in there. Man, Yeah, I don't know what from nowhere?
- 13:48Speaker 1: So temmy what happened yesterday? You weren't here? Wow? From
- 13:57Speaker 1: the top damn night. You see where it comes from, nephew,
- 14:02Speaker 1: now than ever a question, Yes, it was yes, questioning,
- 14:08Speaker 1: yea questioning. Just you know who start the most stuff
- 14:12Speaker 1: on the show. Yeah, you know when we come back.
- 14:18Speaker 1: You brought it up, Carla. He wasn't asking me to
- 14:23Speaker 1: drag back in it. She put herself in it. She
- 14:27Speaker 1: not seeing it. Where we about to find out why exactly? Okay,
- 14:33Speaker 1: that's what it was my ask. But we'll be back always,
- 14:38Speaker 1: all right, starting two after the hour. That's when right
- 14:41Speaker 1: after this you're listening Morning show Steve. You know, parents
- 14:48Speaker 1: want the holidays to be magical for their kids, and
- 14:52Speaker 1: sometimes that can really lead to overdoing it with the gifts.
- 14:55Speaker 1: You know, sometimes we overspend because we love our kids
- 14:57Speaker 1: so much and we want them to have everything. Oh yeah,
- 15:00Speaker 1: my parents did it. Yeah, we we've been you know,
- 15:04Speaker 1: uh involved in that in every kind of way. So,
- 15:07Speaker 1: Carla said, some moms and dads have found that using
- 15:10Speaker 1: the rule of four helps to do that. Now, now,
- 15:12Speaker 1: what is that. It's like you give your your child
- 15:15Speaker 1: four gifts. Only four gifts like something they want, you know,
- 15:20Speaker 1: something that they can wear, something they could read. And
- 15:23Speaker 1: then it's like one more toy like an education where read. Yeah,
- 15:30Speaker 1: and then desire, Yeah, like a desire can't I'm a baby,
- 15:35Speaker 1: if I'm a boy, I don't want nothing to read.
- 15:39Speaker 1: Don't buy me no day, No, don't want I don't
- 15:43Speaker 1: want that. Okay, A book, A book? It don't do
- 15:47Speaker 1: no it, don't shoot it. I can't chase it. It
- 15:52Speaker 1: don't chase me. I can't roll it down the street.
- 15:55Speaker 1: I can't ride it. So you can make that's two
- 16:01Speaker 1: toys now, okay, So you want to you want to book?
- 16:05Speaker 1: Replace book with another toy? Ye? Now where I'm a
- 16:10Speaker 1: little shake on that because I ain't gotten opened up
- 16:12Speaker 1: some boxes some stuff. Good lord, they want to win,
- 16:16Speaker 1: like some clothes. Yeah yeah, like a damn turtleneck. I've
- 16:20Speaker 1: always hated turtleneck. Really, yeah, I don't like that. Boy
- 16:31Speaker 1: came like I love them. Listen to the turtle talk
- 16:39Speaker 1: right now. I'm just talking about on me. Yeah, okay,
- 16:44Speaker 1: I love them on women. Listen. Yeah, yeah, I love
- 16:47Speaker 1: turtlenecks on women. I just note, I can't stand turtleneck
- 16:51Speaker 1: on me and time it can't understand sitting over there
- 16:56Speaker 1: as a turtle. What really, I said me, I can't
- 17:04Speaker 1: stand turtle that really? He take it personally? Yeah? Oh
- 17:09Speaker 1: so you don't care for me, So now don't give
- 17:14Speaker 1: me nothing to wear? Wait? No, okay, so let's go
- 17:16Speaker 1: with the rule again. Something they want something, they need
- 17:19Speaker 1: something to wear, something to read. Now you said something
- 17:22Speaker 1: they want something to wear, something to read, and toy
- 17:26Speaker 1: and something or something. Yeah that's what you said. Won't
- 17:29Speaker 1: wear read in one toy. So now listen, I don't
- 17:34Speaker 1: want nothing to read. So make that two toys. Don't
- 17:38Speaker 1: buy me nothing to wear to scratch that off. Now
- 17:42Speaker 1: up to three toys and then what I want is
- 17:47Speaker 1: another damn tory. So I got Foe tord. That's merry
- 17:52Speaker 1: Christmas to me. So that's the four rules, the four
- 17:55Speaker 1: that's the Foe rules, and out and flipped it into
- 17:58Speaker 1: Phoe toys. If I can get a wagon now this
- 18:03Speaker 1: one I needed as a boy. I want to ah
- 18:08Speaker 1: football uniform? Wow bike? Oh yeah, a wagon and a basketball. Oh,
- 18:18Speaker 1: you gotta get that cap gun. You gotta get that caps.
- 18:21Speaker 1: I got a cap gun. Tank can't take it. Give
- 18:25Speaker 1: me out of caps. I can play hop Scots with it.
- 18:30Speaker 1: I could play folk corners with a bad ball. I'm
- 18:33Speaker 1: doing a lot with a basketball played by myself. To
- 18:37Speaker 1: get this jumper, right, did you ever get these sport guests?
- 18:42Speaker 1: You know I ain't never got him at one time?
- 18:44Speaker 1: One time by you ripped your daddy, fool, You think
- 18:55Speaker 1: we riped You gonna see these other people in here
- 18:57Speaker 1: bike and a wagon. They gotta get something. What did
- 19:01Speaker 1: you get? Tell me? What are your what are your for?
- 19:03Speaker 1: I got to have a cap gun turtle n I'm sorry, sorry,
- 19:09Speaker 1: it's the she go too far that. I didn't want
- 19:12Speaker 1: that to wear, but I definitely don't want to now
- 19:17Speaker 1: look like it might be on your knee, you know
- 19:19Speaker 1: what to wear? I wanted the ability to kid outfit,
- 19:22Speaker 1: you know, a jacket and some gene aut ability to
- 19:25Speaker 1: kid Yeah, that was tight right there, made out the
- 19:28Speaker 1: tough skin you know. Okay, right there, that's what you wear.
- 19:31Speaker 1: I wanted a big wheel though. That was the Yeah,
- 19:35Speaker 1: big wheel. You climb up one right there, right there.
- 19:39Speaker 1: You're gonna get off me, man, junior? Would you want? Now,
- 19:43Speaker 1: that's only three things. That's a cap gun, ability to
- 19:46Speaker 1: kid outfit in a big wheel. What's the port? I
- 19:49Speaker 1: get one more? Yeah? I read the instruction, you know what?
- 19:59Speaker 1: And a tar video. Yeah all right. It was just
- 20:04Speaker 1: a little ball going back and that was all day.
- 20:10Speaker 1: That's so bored. You can sit there all day and
- 20:12Speaker 1: play it. If I got a bite. Yeah, that eighteen
- 20:20Speaker 1: Remote Control Van, the eighteen, the eighteen mister t with
- 20:26Speaker 1: mister team got if I got that that the bit
- 20:29Speaker 1: then I had a saga Genesis. Yeah, yeah, yeah he
- 20:34Speaker 1: had Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson had a game on that. Boy,
- 20:37Speaker 1: Michael Jackson had a game on that where you could
- 20:39Speaker 1: dance like you just throw Genesis. They got that on
- 20:53Speaker 1: the Widow, the Michael Jackson dance game. Yeah. Man, yeah,
- 20:58Speaker 1: Mike christ see the Bikers transportation you did that. Yes,
- 21:02Speaker 1: the wagon was income. That's how I hustle my poper income. Yeah,
- 21:06Speaker 1: I hustle pop football uniform was just I got tired
- 21:11Speaker 1: of just getting head injuries. It though. I think that's
- 21:14Speaker 1: really finally. Yeah, basketball was just because I thought I
- 21:22Speaker 1: might can get to the league and get Yeah, you
- 21:26Speaker 1: had to have something the hood that you possibly get
- 21:28Speaker 1: out of if I can play basket basketball, I get
- 21:30Speaker 1: out of here. All right, all right, more of this
- 21:34Speaker 1: crazy ignorant show. Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this
- 21:38Speaker 1: you're listening to show. Right now, it is time for
- 21:43Speaker 1: the nephew to run that prank back. Come on, now,
- 21:47Speaker 1: you gotta prank food. What you got the air conditioning man? Okay,
- 21:53Speaker 1: let's just leave you to that. Hello, I'm trying to
- 21:57Speaker 1: reach up mister. I think that's the name. Yeah, this
- 22:00Speaker 1: is this? What's this in regard to? Uh? This about
- 22:03Speaker 1: the air conditioning unit? You did some workoff force over
- 22:06Speaker 1: on uh my household off street. Do you remember coming
- 22:09Speaker 1: out there last week? Uh? Yeah, yeah, I remember, yeah, right,
- 22:14Speaker 1: my Uh it was a lady that my wife, she
- 22:16Speaker 1: let you in to come out right right. Their problems
- 22:19Speaker 1: is their problem? That is not cooling or what? No, no, no, no,
- 22:21Speaker 1: it's cooling everything. Matter of fact, I wanted to tell you,
- 22:24Speaker 1: uh that you did you did a good job. But
- 22:27Speaker 1: I got a question for you. Now. When you was
- 22:29Speaker 1: at the house and you was working on the air
- 22:31Speaker 1: condition out there in the backyard, did you did you
- 22:34Speaker 1: happen to go on the side of my house and
- 22:38Speaker 1: pull out and use the bathroom right there on the side?
- 22:42Speaker 1: Did you go then and you do number one on
- 22:44Speaker 1: the side of my eye? Well, what I'm saying is
- 22:47Speaker 1: that my wife tells me that when you were there,
- 22:51Speaker 1: that you you went on the side. She was looking
- 22:53Speaker 1: out the winners. She said that when you was there
- 22:55Speaker 1: that you uh and went and used the bathroom on
- 22:59Speaker 1: the side whole. Hold wait a minute, I did what
- 23:03Speaker 1: not to what right? You? You? You? You? So you
- 23:08Speaker 1: did number one over on the side of the house.

- 50:41Speaker 1: ask you something, man, what is the baddest radio show
- 50:45Speaker 1: in the land. Can't be nobody but the Steve Harvey's
- 50:50Speaker 1: Morning Show with that other that nephew Tommy with It's crazy. Yeah, yeah,
- 50:59Speaker 1: maybe before you get close to what I know gonna
- 51:01Speaker 1: have partner. But Steve, you were telling us about your
- 51:05Speaker 1: your Christmas tree. Yeah, so my love of Christmas was
- 51:10Speaker 1: really worn over at the mall because of the size
- 51:12Speaker 1: of the tree. So now that I've become a little
- 51:15Speaker 1: bit more capable, my wife has one instruction for me.
- 51:19Speaker 1: I want the tree that go in the mall in
- 51:22Speaker 1: my house. Yeah. I'm not going down to normal malls
- 51:25Speaker 1: to look at the tree. I want my tree to
- 51:29Speaker 1: come with it. And that's the deal. And uh, you know,
- 51:35Speaker 1: we get to look at it for like two years
- 51:37Speaker 1: before as it grows. Yeah, and then and then they
- 51:40Speaker 1: go and they pick out the tree and they send
- 51:43Speaker 1: us a picture of the tree before they cut it down.
- 51:45Speaker 1: And then we say, yeah, that's the one that said
- 51:48Speaker 1: the rich people tree grow. Now that in the same
- 51:52Speaker 1: for us though, pick it out a year before. Oh
- 51:56Speaker 1: my god. Yeah. Yeah. They can't go to the nursery
- 51:59Speaker 1: like everybody. Right down there in front of h B.
- 52:02Speaker 1: They got some trees you can buy. That's a grocery store.
- 52:06Speaker 1: The one I gotta have problem ain't down there. When
- 52:09Speaker 1: you get your tree unkle year before, seeing as it's growing.
- 52:14Speaker 1: Then they send me a picture from the nursery of
- 52:17Speaker 1: the trees and then they stand next to him, put it,
- 52:21Speaker 1: you know, measure and stick up the tell me how
- 52:22Speaker 1: tall it is, how wide it is, and then we
- 52:25Speaker 1: picked from that. It's like a kid. How much tree call? What? What? What?
- 52:31Speaker 1: I don't I don't never had that down there. You're
- 52:33Speaker 1: raising a tree for two years. I don't know how
- 52:35Speaker 1: much damn tree call. No, it's a tree. It's not.
- 52:40Speaker 1: It ain't a cow. You ain't a lot of calls,
- 52:43Speaker 1: you know, walking in it. You send it, you feed
- 52:46Speaker 1: the tree. It's called every month that you're listening to
- 52:59Speaker 1: get ready for the day. Strawberry letter, h and listen
- 53:03Speaker 1: if you need some advice on your relationship, on dating, Steve,
- 53:07Speaker 1: on work, on sex, on parenting more. Tell them to
- 53:11Speaker 1: submit their Strawberry letter to Steve Harvey FM dot com
- 53:16Speaker 1: and to just click Strawberry letter. Tell them Steve, yeah
- 53:22Speaker 1: what she says. Just want to make sure you Yeah,
- 53:29Speaker 1: oh nice day. Nice when we get over, we reason
- 53:36Speaker 1: in everything. Thank you for it. Yeah, I just want
- 53:40Speaker 1: I'd be wanting to do. I'm damn this sit one
- 53:42Speaker 1: another day now, So there you go. We're ready. Nephew,
- 53:49Speaker 1: bugg love, hold on tight, We got it for you.
- 53:51Speaker 1: Here it is Strawberry letter, all right? Subject should I
- 53:56Speaker 1: overlook his trust issues? Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm a thirty
- 54:00Speaker 1: two year old divorced mother of five. Recently I met
- 54:03Speaker 1: the man that I am now in love with. The
- 54:07Speaker 1: Chemistry was bananas from a moment we met. He accepted
- 54:10Speaker 1: my children with no problem. To top it all off,
- 54:13Speaker 1: He's tall, dark, handsome, and the sex is so good
- 54:19Speaker 1: it brought a tear to my eye one night when
- 54:21Speaker 1: we met. He was unemployed in living with his grandma,
- 54:25Speaker 1: but he won me over with his persistence and great personality.
- 54:29Speaker 1: I encouraged and helped him complete a training program and
- 54:33Speaker 1: then start a career. Well, here's the dilemma. He is
- 54:37Speaker 1: extremely jealous. Any misstep on my behalf, such as a
- 54:41Speaker 1: missed call or delayed text response, he starts to act crazy.
- 54:45Speaker 1: He goes into a fit of rage and he says
- 54:47Speaker 1: really hurtful things. He's called me a bee, a whore, slut,
- 54:52Speaker 1: and he accuses me of cheating on him. His ex
- 54:55Speaker 1: wife cheated on him with his brother, so he has
- 54:58Speaker 1: serious trust issues. He's crazy jealous and insecure behavior. It's
- 55:03Speaker 1: crazy jealous and insecure behavior breaks my heart. I never
- 55:07Speaker 1: even consider cheating on him. What can I do to
- 55:10Speaker 1: get this man to trust me? This really sucks. Please advise,
- 55:14Speaker 1: you are so correct. This does really suck. But please
- 55:18Speaker 1: know that this has absolutely nothing to do with you.
- 55:22Speaker 1: All Right, this tall, dark and handsome loser is insecure
- 55:27Speaker 1: and he's controlling. He's taking it out all on you.
- 55:30Speaker 1: He's taking all of this out on you. Here you
- 55:32Speaker 1: are having done everything for him, you know, with the
- 55:36Speaker 1: training program, helping him start a career, in all of this,
- 55:39Speaker 1: and this is the thanks you get how dare he
- 55:41Speaker 1: treat you like this? You know, by being so ungrateful.
- 55:45Speaker 1: I just say to you, please, don't let his bad
- 55:48Speaker 1: behavior to start you to you know, to be less confident,
- 55:53Speaker 1: have it start taking away your shine. I don't think
- 55:56Speaker 1: no man is worth going through all of this. You ask,
- 55:58Speaker 1: what can you do to get him to treat you,
- 56:02Speaker 1: to trust you. You're doing it, and you've done it. Okay,
- 56:06Speaker 1: what else can you do? I mean, you don't have
- 56:08Speaker 1: to do anything else. I think you've done quite enough.
- 56:11Speaker 1: I'm concerned that he can get violent with this abusive
- 56:14Speaker 1: behavior that he's displaying if it continues. I just say,
- 56:17Speaker 1: remember you have five kids, and that I'm assuming a
- 56:21Speaker 1: rather young and impressionable since you yourself are only thirty two,
- 56:26Speaker 1: they're watching everything you do. So I say, be smart
- 56:29Speaker 1: and get out while you can, and while you still
- 56:31Speaker 1: have your dignity. Okay, he's disrespectful and he doesn't deserve
- 56:35Speaker 1: a woman like you. Steve Well, one thing is for sure.
- 56:40Speaker 1: Don't nobody see these letters like me? I like to
- 56:44Speaker 1: dig up under the letter and find out what's really
- 56:47Speaker 1: going on. Should overlook his trust issues? The beginning of
- 56:53Speaker 1: the letters quite clear to me. I'm a thirty two
- 56:56Speaker 1: year old divorced mother of five. Recently I met this
- 57:00Speaker 1: man that I'm in love with. Now. The chemistry was
- 57:04Speaker 1: bananas from the moment we met. That's a young term.
- 57:08Speaker 1: It's bananas. It's bananas. That's a young term. The chemistry
- 57:15Speaker 1: was bananas. Nobody describes if they love like asked bananas, taquito, Joe.
- 57:27Speaker 1: It just ain't a good look when your relationship in
- 57:31Speaker 1: chemistry is bananas. That's all it is. Ain't Nobody mentioned
- 57:39Speaker 1: love in this letter though, so but chess, cause it
- 57:42Speaker 1: ain't there yet. It's just bananas, all right. He accepted
- 57:49Speaker 1: my children with no problem. Well that was big. Yeah
- 57:57Speaker 1: at five, that's big. Give him some credit to top
- 58:01Speaker 1: it off. He's tall, dog handsome, and the sex is good.
- 58:05Speaker 1: It bought a tear to my eye one night. I've
- 58:08Speaker 1: explained to you why I was so good, because it
- 58:12Speaker 1: starts coming out in the letter. Why his sex was
- 58:15Speaker 1: so good when we met. Here we go right after
- 58:20Speaker 1: you say the sex was so good. Here the reason why.
- 58:25Speaker 1: When we met he was unemployed living with his grandma.
- 58:31Speaker 1: That's boy, that's boing for a pati. Here to hill
- 58:37Speaker 1: this This explained the hard top of the letter. You
- 58:41Speaker 1: ain't got to wonder why the sector is so good.
- 58:43Speaker 1: A bought A tear to your eye. He needs something
- 58:46Speaker 1: of stain. He in him humping for homes, little shouting,
- 58:56Speaker 1: I'm gonna do. It's called for homes. This is when
- 59:01Speaker 1: you ain't got nowhere, and you got to put it
- 59:04Speaker 1: out to get yourself somewhere. I'm gonna find. I'm gonna
- 59:07Speaker 1: show y'all ladies, height is well. I'm gonna find a
- 59:09Speaker 1: bunch of unemployed men that stay in their mama's and
- 59:12Speaker 1: grandmama's basement. Yeah, And if they don't come in here
- 59:15Speaker 1: and bring a tear to your eye, they get somewhere
- 59:18Speaker 1: to stay. You ain't gonna believe in loving you gonna get.
- 59:20Speaker 1: It's a new show. It's called humping for home. This
- 59:27Speaker 1: white was so good, A tear to your eye. He's
- 59:30Speaker 1: staying at grandmama house. He ain't working. Men that ain't
- 59:35Speaker 1: working got time to hold their skills. He ain't ever tie.
- 59:40Speaker 1: He rested. Yeah, he got plenty, He got plenty of done.
- 59:46Speaker 1: Nobody else on him. He started, He got stuff backed
- 59:50Speaker 1: up in him for months. Not very many women want
- 59:54Speaker 1: an unemployed man. You did now here and here humping
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: it for home. Now he'd have brought a tear to
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: your eye on the floor. Yeah while he humping so good.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: Two of Steve's response coming up at twenty three. I've
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: been homeless, I have humped for homes with twenty three
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: after the hour you're listening, come on, King of Comedy yourself,
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: Steve Letter talking about shit. I overlook his trust. She'd
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: have met this man. She'd been in love with chemistry,
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: with bananas, just bananas from the just, but now that's bananas.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: It's a love. He accepted my children with no problem.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: She had divorced mother five uh. To top it off,
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: he's tall, dog, handsome, and the sex is so good
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: it brought a tear to my eye. Then she told
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: us why because he's right After that, when we met,
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: he was unemployed in living with his grandmama. Yeah, how
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: his sex ain't gonna be good. He got tired, he off,
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: he ain't ever tied, he ain't got nowhere to be,
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: and he stayed with his grandmama's house, which has now
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: caused us. Me and Jay and Kill gonna produced a
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: new hit show, Humping for Homes. This is where we
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: take unemployed me and it ain't working to show you
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: how knew it. Sex They can give out because they
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: have the time. Yeah all right, now, you said, but
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: he warned me over with his persistence and great personality. Hell,
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: he gonna be nice, hard to be rude. You ain't
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: got no house. I've been homeless and nice and I've
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: ever been. Can't be rude. You stay in your car?
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: How you doing? How you doing today? So I'm absolutely fine, ma'am.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: How are you people I wouldn't even speak to I
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: stood kind to him because they could be they could
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: be sheltered. You look, everybody, look at his shelter down everybody.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: Everybody was speaking to me. I had a key. I didn't.
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: This could be meal out of a plate, TV on
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: the wall, all out. So I encouraged and helped him
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: complete a training program and then start a career. Okay,
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: hold on, if it happened that, let's quit talking about
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: this training program and career you got. Yeah, you took
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: him down there, here fried? Hey what you took him
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: down there? He fried? No, all of a sudden, he
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: just a training program this two weeks because she she's
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: embellishing that. Yeah, so you got a career he's extremely jealous.
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: Any misstep on my half, such as a miscall the
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: delayed text. Respond he starts and acting crazy. Let's just
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: go back to why you're his home now he got
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: somewhere to live. What you mean you ain't answering? No tech?
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: You more? You don't answer my tech. You don't won't me.
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: I called you, mister phone. You won't answer me. He
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: goes into a fit of rage. He says, really hurt
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: for thing. He's called me a b AhR, a slut,
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: and he accuses me of cheating on him. His ex
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: wife cheated on him with his brother. This ain't got
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: nothing new with you. He was he's referring to you
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: as to what he was referring to his ex wife, ass,
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: because that's what he called her after she cheated with
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: him with his brother. Your real issue was with both
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: of them. But I'm gonna beat my brother ass though
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: he got ash. Yeah, your brother gonna get his ass
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: with now me and you win cool No more, We
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: ain't gonna talk. I got all that, but my brother,
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: though he gonna get, he gonna get the flesh stumped
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: off him, the flesh stomped off him. If he knows
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: that he already note that. Yeah, now his x y
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: cheating up to his brother. He is. He's crazy, jealous
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: and insecure. Behavior breaks my heart. I never even consider
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: cheating on him. What can I do to get this
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: man to trust me? This really sucks. You can't get
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: this man to trust you if you've done nothing to
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: make the man? Dude? Have you've done nothing to cause
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: mistrust in the man? What can you do to get
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: him to trust you? What else can you do? You're
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: not doing anything wrong and he don't trust you. What
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: can you do, mo right to get him to trust
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: you When he don't trust you and you ain't done nothing.
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: This is not a win situation. You're dealing with the
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: person with some serious issues. Well, now you know why
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: you didn't found mister taddog and handsome and he was available.
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: Where is this outstanding man? He was unemployed. He was
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: staying at his grandmama's house. His mama even told him
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: you can't stay That's why was that grandmother told you
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: you can't stay here with the mama. First, you can't
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: stay here, boy, Pull yourself together. Might have a daddy
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: or somebody anything to come back up. Been here, get
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: your ways together. He would ride over the grandma's house
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: because he weak and he insecured. Now listen to me,
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: you're not going to be able to win this man's
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: trust because you've done everything that trustworthy people do, which
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: is you've been loyal, committed, and you're giving him what
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: he needs exactly. You're giving him. He's getting good sex,
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: but he's also getting a place to come to getting
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: the key, to getting the key he's never had that.
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: He had that sex with his wife and she slept
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: with his brother. She found out it was nothing to said, well,
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: hell let me try. That's how that. Yeah, i'd have
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: made a mistake with him. Let me try brother brother.
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: They're all good looking people, Yeah, they are the whole family.
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: Probably tall dog, can handsome that his mama is tall
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: dog and handsome problem, grandmoma, tall doctor. Yeah, just two people,
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: pretty people in that house. This is all bad, lady.
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: You should get out of this situation because it's not
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: a win win. See, regaining a person's trust is one thing.
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: Having a person's trust and you've done and done nothing
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: to get his mistrust is a whole another issue. What
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: else can you do? You've done nothing wrong, so what
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: do you have nothing to fix. You're trying to fix
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: something that shouldn't even require fixing because it ain't broke.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: But he accusing you of being a be a hole,
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: a slot and all this because he talking about his
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: ex messing with his brother and now you it and
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: until he get past him issues, you should run the
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: other way. Thank you very much. Hump for homes Saturday nights.

- 1:28:52Speaker 1: nine after the hour, Gather round everyone, you're listening Steve
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve, here we are back
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: a last break of the day, and you're gonna leave
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: us with some closing remarks. Yeah, you know, I want
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: to share something with you that I came across when
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: I was meditating this summer and a friend of mine,
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: Bishop Getties down in the Carolinas, who I met on
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: my talk show one time we formed a relationship, very
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: very helpful. Bishop gettys he sends me inspiration all the time.
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: He just, I mean, just a good dude man, just
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: care about me. He always sends me something timely. And
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: one of the things he sent me I was thinking
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: about on the or when I was meditating this summer,
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: and it's something that I'm guilty of even myself. And
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: I was explaining it to a couple of people that
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: work around him. They would come up, you say that
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: you feel that way. Yeah, man, it's all relative, you know,
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: it doesn't matter how you think my life is the
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: fact that I might be still short in myself is
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: a very very real reality. And there is a possibility
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: moving forward that you could also be short in your
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: life for what it could truly be. Have you ever
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: thought about that you could be making one mistake that's
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: cutting you off from the life that you could really have.
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: You're actually sought short circuit in your blessings because of
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: a very simple thing that we do. And I'm guilty
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: of this myself. And I had to catch myself this
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: summer and one of the things I came away with
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: I said, Man, I got to dream bigger. I have
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: got to dream bigger because I've exposed myself with people
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: who have so much more. Now do you need so
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: much more? No? But God said he would give you
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: the desires of your heart. Here even put some stuff
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: on your heart to desire. You ain't even know what's
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: really there, but he wants you to see that too.
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: So look, I'm out of the need business. I just
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: need him. He's all I need. Of course, I need
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: love and people that care about me and friendship. I'm
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: not saying I don't need nothing, but as far as
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: material stuff, I don't need anything. It's just stuff I want.
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: But it's nothing wrong with want anymore, as long as
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: you're grateful for where you at. But here's what happens,
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: and it happens to me, and it may be happening
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: to you, And I don't want you to shortcircuit your blessings.
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: I don't want you to knock yourself out of something
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: that you could have. Listen to me, don't downgrade your
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: dream just to fit your reality. I'm gonna repeat that,
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: but I got some more. Don't downgrade your dream just
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: to fit your reality. Upgrade your conviction to match your destiny.
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: One more time y'all listen to this. This is so good. Man.
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: Don't downgrade your dream just to fit your reality. Upgrade
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: your conviction to match your destiny. Oh man, this is
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: so good. Do you know how many times we reshape
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: what we want based on where we're at right now?
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: Do you know how many times you've bought a car
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: based on how much you made? Well, now you saying, well,
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: of course, Steve, you gotta fit it in the budget.
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: But hold up, though, but did you really want something else?
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: Did you really see yourself driving a different model, the
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: upscale model? Did you see you with that car but
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: it was fully loaded? I'm just saying, well, you know
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: what you shouldn't do. You shouldn't downgrade your dream just
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: to fit your reality. See so you make a purchase
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: based on where you're at right now, when if you
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: kept the faith continue to work. Do you know that God,
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: there's a strong possibility that he was gonna give you
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: the car your dream. But you quit operating on faith,
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: You started functioning on your reality, and so you end
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: up blocking what God could do for you because you
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: made a move too fast based on where you were
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: with what you should have did. You should have buckled
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: down and upgraded your conviction, got most serious about it,
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: got more funky with it, got a little bit more
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: determined to get what you saw in your dreams and
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: your visions. Upgrade your conviction to match your destiny because
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: where God gonna take you and what it really got
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: for you, You gotta get your conviction to match that.
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: Stop knocking your dreams down because it don't and fitting
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: it into your reality to day. You gotta try something
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: else because I had to force myself to do it.
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: I got to upgrade my conviction to match your destiny.
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: God has a bigger life for me, and that I
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: know for sure. And many of you feel the same way.
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: You keep saying, Man, there's got to be more than
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: my life than this. Man, I really see God working
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: on my behalf. Just gotta hang in there. You just
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: gotta hanging there. Man. Now, you gotta keep working, but
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: you got to hang in that. When I say hanging there,
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: do not lose faith. That's the hanging in now I'm
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: talking about. Don't give up because it didn't got funky
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: for you. Hanging there, be strong. Don't downgrade your dream
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: just to fit your reality. Upgrade your conviction to match
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: your Destiny. Those are my clothing me. Oh, you better
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: drop the mic on that one for real though no,
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: he drops Okay, I don't know how the mic on lane.
