NFL Cuts to the Transfer Portal
Joe and the guys react to LSU head coach Lane Kiffin signing a player recently cut by the Cleveland Browns, with Kiffin saying another college program would have picked him up if LSU didn’t. Joe agrees with Kiffin’s assessment and jokes that college football now has three major ways to build a roster: high school recruiting, the transfer portal and players getting cut from NFL teams. The guys also discuss how the explosion of money in college football has completely changed the way programs acquire talent.
