- 2:04Speaker 2: Good morning everybody, y'all listening to the voice. Come on,
- 2:08Speaker 2: dig me now one and only see if Harvey got
- 2:11Speaker 2: a radio show man. God is in the blessing business.
- 2:15Speaker 2: I'm in the receiving line. Man. That's a good feeling.
- 2:21Speaker 2: I thank God for waking me up in the mornings,
- 2:24Speaker 2: I really really do. I thank God for the spirit
- 2:27Speaker 2: that he wakes me up with because I finally, but
- 2:31Speaker 2: I finally figured it out. Such a blessing that shouldn't
- 2:35Speaker 2: be taken for granted. The fact that you are up today,
- 2:38Speaker 2: the fact that you just got off working, you driving home,
- 2:41Speaker 2: the fact that you got a job to come home from,
- 2:44Speaker 2: the fact that you got a job to wake up too. Whatever,
- 2:47Speaker 2: it is the fact that you can see, think, here, smell, walk, talk, rhyme, reason,
- 2:55Speaker 2: whatever it is, it's a blessing.
- 2:57Speaker 3: Man.
- 2:57Speaker 2: I was talking to a partner of mine last night
- 3:01Speaker 2: and an analogy came to me last night of what
- 3:03Speaker 2: my life has been like. Just going over my story
- 3:06Speaker 2: with a friend of mine, some of the things I
- 3:09Speaker 2: had gone through, and he never knew it because he said, man,
- 3:12Speaker 2: you never told me that we were just talking. One
- 3:16Speaker 2: of the things I remember, and it's kind of equated
- 3:19Speaker 2: to my life, was when I was a little boy,
- 3:24Speaker 2: as she got to the store with my mom and
- 3:28Speaker 2: she would let me buy a jigsaw puzzle. Now, for
- 3:32Speaker 2: those of you, a jigsaw puzzle comes in a box.
- 3:36Speaker 2: There are no instructions. It just comes in a box,
- 3:41Speaker 2: and it's simple. You're gonna dump the pieces out in
- 3:44Speaker 2: a pile and you're gonna try to put the pieces
- 3:47Speaker 2: together until it looks like the picture that's on the
- 3:52Speaker 2: cover of the box. That's as simple as it is.
- 3:58Speaker 2: Here is the deal. I would select a jigsaw puzzle
- 4:06Speaker 2: based on the picture that I liked and if I
- 4:12Speaker 2: thought I could do it. Now, if the picture looked
- 4:16Speaker 2: too crazy, if it looked too intricate, I didn't want
- 4:20Speaker 2: that puzzle, you know. And the thing was back in
- 4:23Speaker 2: the day, you got a jigsaw puzzle, you had a
- 4:25Speaker 2: hundred piece puzzles. Four hundred piece puzzles. Man, then they
- 4:29Speaker 2: say a thousand piece puzzle. You go ooo. So those
- 4:34Speaker 2: were a little difficult for me when I was a
- 4:36Speaker 2: little boy, so I didn't want that. As I got
- 4:40Speaker 2: a little bit older, I had more challenging puzzles, you know,
- 4:45Speaker 2: four fifty five hundred piece puzzles. But I always picked
- 4:50Speaker 2: a picture of something I liked. So it's very simple.
- 4:55Speaker 2: You get the jigsaw puzzle, you get it home, you
- 4:57Speaker 2: open it up, you dump it out on the table.
- 5:00Speaker 2: You flip all the pieces over so you can see them,
- 5:05Speaker 2: and then I would try to sort them based on
- 5:07Speaker 2: the colors on the box. If it was like a
- 5:10Speaker 2: black section, i'd take all the black pieces and slide
- 5:14Speaker 2: them over there. If it was some flowers, I'd try
- 5:16Speaker 2: to find all the pictures with little jigsaw pieces with
- 5:19Speaker 2: the little floor, and I separate them and then i'd
- 5:22Speaker 2: start putting it together. And the way I started was
- 5:24Speaker 2: i'd try to build a border first, because I knew
- 5:27Speaker 2: all the straight edges had to be side by side
- 5:30Speaker 2: at one point. And it was funny, man, because it's
- 5:33Speaker 2: related to my life. I would start putting the pieces
- 5:37Speaker 2: together of the picture I saw that I liked, and
- 5:43Speaker 2: that would be my picture. A lot of people didn't
- 5:47Speaker 2: like jigsaw puzzles. As a matter of fact, none of
- 5:51Speaker 2: the boys on the street liked jigsaw puzzles but me,
- 5:54Speaker 2: because they just didn't want to go through the intricate
- 5:57Speaker 2: details of figuring that out really go outside and run
- 6:01Speaker 2: or something like that. And so what happened was, as
- 6:05Speaker 2: I got older, I wanted more difficult and challenging puzzles,
- 6:10Speaker 2: but I wouldn't go too far. I wanted some nice
- 6:13Speaker 2: stuff to happen. I had a picture of what I
- 6:15Speaker 2: wanted for my life, but I didn't want to go
- 6:18Speaker 2: too far because it was so challenging and difficult. I
- 6:23Speaker 2: couldn't see myself with all of that, and I didn't
- 6:25Speaker 2: have the time, the knowledge, the expertise, the figuring all
- 6:29Speaker 2: the intricate details. And I discovered something when I was
- 6:33Speaker 2: talking last night. That's what happens in life to a
- 6:38Speaker 2: lot of people. You get bogged down with the details
- 6:42Speaker 2: of coming up and trying to create the picture that
- 6:44Speaker 2: you want for yourself. You put it to the side,
- 6:47Speaker 2: You say, oh, that puzzles are crazy. Next thing, you know,
- 6:50Speaker 2: you crumb it up and put it back in the box.
- 6:52Speaker 2: So you go halfway and you get stuck, and you
- 6:54Speaker 2: get to the part where it ain't a lot of
- 6:56Speaker 2: different colors, it's all the same, and that's a little
- 6:58Speaker 2: bit more challenging. So that may stop you. But it's
- 7:01Speaker 2: somewhere in the jigsaw puzzle that it gets very difficult
- 7:05Speaker 2: and challenging. The bigger the picture you want, but then
- 7:09Speaker 2: what all happened in your life, it's just like what
- 7:13Speaker 2: happened in the jigsaw. Once you get comfortable and you
- 7:18Speaker 2: don't mind the challenge, you could get a bigger picture.
- 7:23Speaker 2: But here's the key to it, though, if you put
- 7:26Speaker 2: God in your mix. See the picture that I saw
- 7:30Speaker 2: for myself as a boy is not the picture that
- 7:34Speaker 2: has happened to me as a man. Because along the
- 7:37Speaker 2: way from boyhood to manhood, from the time I was
- 7:41Speaker 2: telling you understand what happened along the ride in there
- 7:45Speaker 2: was I started putting God in the mix. And so
- 7:49Speaker 2: now the picture that I have now is not the
- 7:52Speaker 2: picture I saw. It's the picture that God saw. So
- 7:57Speaker 2: what I'm saying this analogy is the picture you have
- 8:02Speaker 2: may be difficult to complete. But if you were to
- 8:05Speaker 2: include God in your life, put God in your jigsaw puzzle,
- 8:11Speaker 2: God will not only help you complete the puzzle, and
- 8:14Speaker 2: he gonna add some pieces, he gonna do some favors,
- 8:18Speaker 2: he gonna show some mercy, and you gonna look up
- 8:21Speaker 2: and the picture that you're able to end up with
- 8:23Speaker 2: will be totally different and much more complete, much more beautiful,
- 8:28Speaker 2: a bigger picture than the one you had. Because there's
- 8:31Speaker 2: no way that I could have sought a life that
- 8:33Speaker 2: I have today back when I was a boy. And
- 8:37Speaker 2: it amazes me when I hear people say I always
- 8:40Speaker 2: saw this for myself. Ah, I didn't do that. I
- 8:42Speaker 2: didn't quite see this for myself. I don't know how
- 8:45Speaker 2: you can have the ability to see what God really
- 8:48Speaker 2: has for you. But man, he's a master for jigsaw. Man,
- 8:52Speaker 2: he's an incredible puzzle completed. So if you got a
- 8:56Speaker 2: puzzle that's challenging to you, maybe you need to see
- 8:59Speaker 2: what's the pit that God has for your life. If
- 9:02Speaker 2: God were in your life, if you completed to puzzle,
- 9:07Speaker 2: what would it look like. It'll be a far more
- 9:11Speaker 2: extensive puzzle and it would be a far more beautiful
- 9:14Speaker 2: piece of scenery than you could have ever imagined. Tears
- 9:18Speaker 2: come in my eyes because I can't believe God bought
- 9:22Speaker 2: me this far. I can't believe that when I opened
- 9:25Speaker 2: up and accepted him and started talking to him, that
- 9:28Speaker 2: he would add all these piecels to my jigsaw puzzle,
- 9:31Speaker 2: and my jigsaw puzzle would look like this. And I
- 9:34Speaker 2: can tell you I ain't got a whole lot to
- 9:36Speaker 2: do with what out and turned into. It's mostly favor
- 9:40Speaker 2: and blessings and grace and mercy of God. And I
- 9:43Speaker 2: looked up and I just got a much bigger jigsaw
- 9:46Speaker 2: puzzle completed. And guess what, He ain't through with me yet.
- 9:50Speaker 2: That's what's amazing and exciting about a relationship with God.
- 9:54Speaker 2: God could take your jigsaw puzzle and fix it.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning.
- 9:59Speaker 2: Ship, Ladies and gentlemen. I am here, but I am
- 10:05Speaker 2: not here alone. I come to you with a group

- 10:17Speaker 2: we would like to say to you, please, please lend
- 10:20Speaker 2: yourself heavily to gratitude, start thinking about it on a

- 10:31Speaker 2: if you're still receiving the news, the fact remains that
- 10:35Speaker 2: you are not the news. So I am grateful that
- 10:39Speaker 2: I am not that news of the day. Thank you
- 10:42Speaker 2: for life, for health, for strength, and for awareness, but
- 10:47Speaker 2: most of all, thank you for gratitude. Ah Man, Let

- 12:11Speaker 2: you ain't gonna matter. You could be in a fast
- 12:13Speaker 2: moving vehicle. I've done it before. I've rolled out of
- 12:16Speaker 2: a card, sit out onto the highway. I've done it before.
- 12:19Speaker 2: I just never told nobody, Hallowai, you're doing it. You
- 12:23Speaker 2: can do it. No, I don't want about it. I

- 12:44Speaker 6: Uh huh?
- 12:46Speaker 2: Yeah, man, we're going there this morning. This are Yeah. Well,
- 12:49Speaker 2: I'm just I'm talking to junior time. I'm not in
- 12:53Speaker 2: a drag or nothing in you, but you put yourself
- 12:55Speaker 2: in an hours. Well, if you ever had that conversation,
- 13:00Speaker 2: that's a jump out the window conversation. Yeah, you've had

- 13:07Speaker 2: no window. It just hold up, Hey Jia, I'm talking
- 13:15Speaker 2: about running through a wall maker with Hey Julia. I
- 13:18Speaker 2: was sitting at a bus stop with a girl in
- 13:20Speaker 2: college that I was dating, and she brought up a
- 13:24Speaker 2: subject where she had busted me to last night. We
- 13:26Speaker 2: were sitting at the bus stop. I stepped off in
- 13:29Speaker 2: front of the bus.
- 13:32Speaker 1: All right, thank you.
- 13:34Speaker 2: They do not even know how to handle it.
- 13:36Speaker 7: So let me coming up in thirty two minutes after
- 13:38Speaker 7: the hour, we're gonna start the show off with Nephew.
- 13:41Speaker 1: Tommy's run that frank back right after this.

- 14:27Speaker 8: I got your doors? These is your doses? Okay, let's
- 14:31Speaker 8: go cat dogs.
- 14:33Speaker 6: Hello. Hello, I'm trying to reach a mister Paul. Please
- 14:36Speaker 6: call Virginia Senior, probably senior. Okay, this is me. How
- 14:40Speaker 6: you doing today? I'm good, I'm good. Listen, my name
- 14:42Speaker 6: is Mark. I'm actually calling from a company called doors.
- 14:46Speaker 6: Are you Are you at the court? Yes? Correct? You
- 14:49Speaker 6: guys just built that home right? Yeah? Okay, Like I said,
- 14:52Speaker 6: my name is Mark Stevens. I'm actually calling from a
- 14:54Speaker 6: doors or we're actually the company that supplied the doors
- 14:58Speaker 6: that are actually through out your house.
- 15:01Speaker 3: Okay, great, what are you calling for a follow up?
- 15:04Speaker 6: No, this isn't a follow up. Actually, we're got a
- 15:06Speaker 6: couple of glitches we want to try and get get
- 15:07Speaker 6: straightened out if we could find Well, here's here's the problem, sir.
- 15:11Speaker 6: The problem we're having is that the contractor that actually
- 15:14Speaker 6: built you all home, yes, has not paid for the doors.
- 15:19Speaker 6: You guys have been there two and a half months,
- 15:21Speaker 6: and we can't seem to get the contractor to come
- 15:25Speaker 6: in and pay for the doors. Tried to call him,
- 15:28Speaker 6: We've tried to call them several times, and we have
- 15:31Speaker 6: not been able to wait number on him because you don't.
- 15:33Speaker 3: Have a good number. I can give you a number,
- 15:35Speaker 3: because I really don't have anything to do with that.
- 15:38Speaker 3: In fact, how do you get my number?
- 15:40Speaker 6: Well, actually we had your number one file as the homeowner,
- 15:42Speaker 6: and that's pretty much how we had you. But the
- 15:45Speaker 6: problem we're facing here, sir, is we've tried to get
- 15:48Speaker 6: this guy for the last couple of months and we
- 15:50Speaker 6: can't get him. So, actually, what's what's going to happen
- 15:53Speaker 6: here in the next day or so is we're probably
- 15:56Speaker 6: going to have to come and get all the doors.
- 15:58Speaker 6: Oh always have to do what only gonna have to
- 16:00Speaker 6: come and get all the doors in your house, take
- 16:03Speaker 6: them off and bring them back here to the plant
- 16:05Speaker 6: until we we're gonna go get all my doors we
- 16:08Speaker 6: we're gonna have to get those doors until either we
- 16:10Speaker 6: get a contractor or you know, we get paid for
- 16:13Speaker 6: the doors. Now, what could happen is you could pay
- 16:15Speaker 6: for the doors.
- 16:16Speaker 3: No, no, no, already paid for the doors. That's that's
- 16:19Speaker 3: that's past tense. I've done that paid. You say paying
- 16:23Speaker 3: that means I got to double back. Well, sir, we.
- 16:25Speaker 6: Haven't been paid, sir for the doors as well.
- 16:27Speaker 3: No, no, no, the contractor was paid for the doors.
- 16:30Speaker 3: That's who pays you.
- 16:32Speaker 6: Okay, And what I'm trying to explain to you, sir,
- 16:34Speaker 6: we haven't been paid at all here at doors.
- 16:38Speaker 3: Now, we're all all all okay, Well I do what
- 16:42Speaker 3: they should have received a check from my contract and what.
- 16:45Speaker 6: I'm mean you, sir, is that that hasn't been done.
- 16:48Speaker 3: So since you have not been paid, you're gonna come
- 16:50Speaker 3: back and get my doors. Now, you said, we Now,
- 16:52Speaker 3: who's all this? You know? And who are we gonna come? Right?
- 16:55Speaker 3: Here's the problem here, like I know, no, ain't no problems.
- 16:57Speaker 3: We're gonna we're gonna resolve this very peacefully.
- 17:00Speaker 9: But who is we?
- 17:01Speaker 6: Okay, So what's taking place here at my job? Is
- 17:03Speaker 6: they taking this money out of my check that hasn't
- 17:06Speaker 6: been paid for the doors.
- 17:07Speaker 3: Oh yes, I can understand that, but why would they
- 17:10Speaker 3: take it out of your check? You did the mand hours,
- 17:12Speaker 3: You've done your work. Why don't I understand it?
- 17:14Speaker 6: Sir? But since the company hasn't been paid, the company
- 17:17Speaker 6: is taking it out on me, and it's not gonna
- 17:19Speaker 6: come down on me. So either I'm gonna get the doors.
- 17:22Speaker 3: Well, you need to cut your job because they need
- 17:24Speaker 3: to give you a not just give you a bonus,
- 17:27Speaker 3: but give you some hourly work. Because bottom line is
- 17:29Speaker 3: you're talking about coming to get my doors now, that's
- 17:32Speaker 3: not gonna happen.
- 17:33Speaker 6: Either we resolve this peacefully as if you paid for it,
- 17:36Speaker 6: or I come out and get the doors now. I'm
- 17:38Speaker 6: not finish city and go back and way.
- 17:40Speaker 3: You need to go in and come get these doors.
- 17:42Speaker 3: Gas up and come get these doors. Because you're not
- 17:44Speaker 3: gonna come and get I'm not gonna send you no money, okay, sir.
- 17:47Speaker 6: Then what we need to do is get a schedule
- 17:49Speaker 6: time where I can come out and get all the doors.
- 17:51Speaker 9: Now, I'm on your time.
- 17:52Speaker 3: I'm sorry, I'm on your time now. So you got this,
- 17:55Speaker 3: you must be paying me now since I'm on your time.
- 17:57Speaker 3: What are you talking about, Because you're talking about gona
- 18:00Speaker 3: set up a time with me that means I have
- 18:02Speaker 3: to leave and do what I do, be meeting you
- 18:04Speaker 3: here to get something that don't belong to you, which
- 18:06Speaker 3: is my door. Sir, you don't have to be there
- 18:08Speaker 3: at all, because I'm gonna say, I'm gonna come in and.
- 18:10Speaker 6: Take the front door off, and I'm gonna keep keep
- 18:12Speaker 6: moving through the house and get all the doors and
- 18:14Speaker 6: get them back here to the play.
- 18:15Speaker 3: I don't think you hear yourself now. First and foremost,
- 18:18Speaker 3: how you when you come to the front door, I'm
- 18:20Speaker 3: gonna be without waiting on you as you actually take
- 18:22Speaker 3: it off latch. I'm gonna be on you behind, making
- 18:25Speaker 3: sure you realize you're gonna have to take this door
- 18:27Speaker 3: or take this And I'm I'm pretty sure tom coming
- 18:31Speaker 3: to you and you get that first door, so I
- 18:32Speaker 3: can't keep going back and forth with you.
- 18:34Speaker 6: Let me say this to you. I'm coming to get
- 18:36Speaker 6: them doors, even if I gotta take a because I
- 18:38Speaker 6: gotta get my money back from the company that they

- 22:14Speaker 7: the spot a couple of times a month.
- 22:16Speaker 3: Now.
- 22:16Speaker 7: I went with her a month. I went with her
- 22:18Speaker 7: one time, and I don't like people rubbing on me
- 22:21Speaker 7: like that. I don't like that she prefers for men
- 22:24Speaker 7: to do her massages, and I don't think that's appropriate.
- 22:27Speaker 1: Is there a way to stop her from going?
- 22:30Speaker 2: No, don't ain't about it. Stop, Oh dog, it ain't

- 22:48Speaker 1: I like woman or man, male and female?
- 22:51Speaker 3: What?
- 22:53Speaker 1: No man for the that's he's a professional.
- 22:58Speaker 2: Though, okive, but damn what a professor? Add I don't
- 23:04Speaker 2: want a professional boxer punching me in the face. So
- 23:07Speaker 2: I'll give a damn.
- 23:08Speaker 1: If you a professional, but you're going to get a massage.
- 23:13Speaker 2: I don't want a professional wrestler throwing my ass over
- 23:16Speaker 2: his head bag. I don't care that you a perfession.
- 23:20Speaker 2: I don't want a professional stopping me. What the hell
- 23:23Speaker 2: profession got to do it? Ain't no man, ain't no man.
- 23:27Speaker 2: Put all on his hand and start rubbing me. What
- 23:31Speaker 2: the hell man? Please not, Steve Harvey. Now, you call
- 23:34Speaker 2: that whatever you want to call it, and you can
- 23:36Speaker 2: get to call it. Y'all can get the texting and
- 23:39Speaker 2: and and and and and twitter in it. Steve, you
- 23:42Speaker 2: whatever you want. I said that, and I mean that.
- 23:49Speaker 2: That ain't happening.
- 23:50Speaker 7: So there's no way he can stop his wife from
- 23:52Speaker 7: going and getting massages from now.
- 23:55Speaker 2: And if you do massage me, I wanted to be
- 23:59Speaker 2: a very very unattractive woman.
- 24:02Speaker 1: That's what I want, all right, Well I want I want.
- 24:05Speaker 2: I want your name to be Hugle, moving on, Brunehilda.
- 24:10Speaker 2: I want something like that.
- 24:12Speaker 1: We have moved on. Lenita and Memphis says.
- 24:15Speaker 7: I'm a twenty seven year old single mother of twins
- 24:18Speaker 7: and the daddy and I recently broke up because he
- 24:21Speaker 7: cheated on me. He told me that he and the
- 24:23Speaker 7: girl are in love, and I called her so she
- 24:27Speaker 7: could hear the trends crying at the same time.
- 24:29Speaker 2: Yes, I did that. I called her.
- 24:31Speaker 7: She fell out of love with him and apologized to me.
- 24:34Speaker 7: Now he's saying I'm evil?
- 24:36Speaker 1: Was I wrong for that?
- 24:38Speaker 2: That's pretty that's a pretty slick move. Yeah, mean, do
- 24:43Speaker 2: you love what you did? I know you love Hill,
- 24:46Speaker 2: but do you know what your love has caused us
- 24:49Speaker 2: to do? First of all, he's young. You don't tell
- 24:54Speaker 2: a woman you're breaking up with that you were in
- 24:56Speaker 2: love with the other woman. Just that dog, go go
- 24:59Speaker 2: where you go. Don't don't try to rub salt in
- 25:03Speaker 2: the woman's wound and all this he'll make her And
- 25:06Speaker 2: how she got the other girl number? You call and
- 25:08Speaker 2: ask if I'm in love with the Houston. Yeah he got,
- 25:11Speaker 2: he got what coming, Yeah, he got, he got exactly
- 25:14Speaker 2: what was coming to him. Yeah, you were, You were
- 25:17Speaker 2: perfectly fine. What do you want to call you evil?
- 25:19Speaker 2: For evil? It's telling you I'm in love with somebody else,
- 25:23Speaker 2: and that's that's smart. And she's sitting there with a
- 25:26Speaker 2: baby in Yeah, just had twins. And then you're gonna
- 25:30Speaker 2: tell her not now all of a sudden you ain't
- 25:32Speaker 2: in love with her? That was evil?
- 25:34Speaker 6: Right?
- 25:34Speaker 2: Yes, no, baby, he was all right? Let him hear
- 25:38Speaker 2: your kids.
- 25:38Speaker 1: Crying all right.
- 25:42Speaker 7: Moving on to Sherjuana and Nashville, Shauana writes, I've got
- 25:45Speaker 7: a problem with a coworker that likes to grab on
- 25:47Speaker 7: me and hit me when she talks.
- 25:49Speaker 1: The more detailed her stories are, the more she likes
- 25:52Speaker 1: to touch me.
- 25:53Speaker 7: I'm very sarcastic, but she's not good at picking up
- 25:57Speaker 7: against So should I come right out and tell her
- 26:00Speaker 7: or punch her really hard the next time she grabs me?
- 26:03Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 26:04Speaker 2: I like option beat. That's why. Yeah, I like that
- 26:08Speaker 2: one right there. That's the person's gonna be a surprise.
- 26:14Speaker 2: But then when you do it, when you see the
- 26:16Speaker 2: shock on her face, then you bust out laughing. Yeah,
- 26:23Speaker 2: I promise you would have stopped in I meet. I
- 26:26Speaker 2: prefer option beat. Yeah, sarcasm hasn't worked. I like option beat.
- 26:33Speaker 2: Tell me a story from a distance. What you gonna
- 26:35Speaker 2: be doing right?
- 26:36Speaker 3: Right?
- 26:37Speaker 2: Exactly?
- 26:38Speaker 3: All right?
- 26:39Speaker 7: Last one, Steve, here's the last one. Mackenzie and Tampa says.
- 26:42Speaker 7: My father married a woman that moved into the house
- 26:45Speaker 7: I grew up in when my parents got divorced. I
- 26:49Speaker 7: went with my mom and it irritates me to see
- 26:52Speaker 7: her two children in my house. My dad is so insensitive.
- 26:56Speaker 7: Are my feelings justified? Should I stop visit?
- 27:00Speaker 2: Well, you feel what you want to feel. But that's
- 27:04Speaker 2: the house you grow up, grew up here. That ain't
- 27:06Speaker 2: your house. You ain't made one house payment your daddy
- 27:09Speaker 2: and bought that house. Now when your mama left you
- 27:12Speaker 2: with your mama, I ain't got nothing to do with that.
- 27:14Speaker 2: That ain't what this question is about. And you're gonna
- 27:17Speaker 2: continue to feel some kind of way because that's the
- 27:19Speaker 2: house you grew up in. But in the words of
- 27:22Speaker 2: my daddy, you can either get over it or die
- 27:26Speaker 2: in your choice what you want to do. You want
- 27:30Speaker 2: to get over it or you want to die? Man,
- 27:33Speaker 2: what you want to do? That's I can't do nothing else.
- 27:38Speaker 2: I can call in law what you want me to
- 27:40Speaker 2: do it. I'm raiming on the side of the bed
- 27:44Speaker 2: all I can ain't coming down there. I call in
- 27:47Speaker 2: law what you want me to do here? That's all
- 27:49Speaker 2: I got for you.
- 27:51Speaker 1: So questions Steve, you and your hypothetical.
- 27:54Speaker 7: Of course, you get divorced, your wife gets the house
- 27:58Speaker 7: in the divorce, she remarries her new husband and his
- 28:02Speaker 7: family moves into that house.
- 28:04Speaker 1: What house the house that she got in the divorce.
- 28:09Speaker 2: I know, but you left out the park. I know
- 28:11Speaker 2: you got the house, and can you tell me one
- 28:13Speaker 2: I just bought.
- 28:15Speaker 1: I'm talking about the house that she had but she
- 28:18Speaker 1: won in the divorce. That's the one I'm talking about.
- 28:20Speaker 2: But now wait, he's moving into.
- 28:22Speaker 7: What though, She's moving into the house that your ex
- 28:29Speaker 7: wife got in the divorce when you guys got divorced.
- 28:32Speaker 2: Yeah, she got awarded the house and justifiably can lead that. Yes, well,
- 28:40Speaker 2: if I know a man that's finna moving now me
- 28:43Speaker 2: walking around on all the floors I paid for? Yes, yes,
- 28:47Speaker 2: couldn't cutting no light switches that I put in there
- 28:51Speaker 2: sitting up in my office.
- 28:53Speaker 1: Yes, and you're married one?
- 28:56Speaker 2: Oh no, no, see that that home no longer exists.
- 29:02Speaker 7: All right, we have to move on now, coming up
- 29:05Speaker 7: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.
- 29:08Speaker 2: She's Steve Harvey Martin show man at my wheel reading.
- 29:12Speaker 2: I just want you to know that the majority of
- 29:14Speaker 2: people there present will be crying harder at the wheel
- 29:19Speaker 2: reading than they asked was at the news that I'm
- 29:22Speaker 2: gone gonna repeat this. There will be people at the
- 29:29Speaker 2: wheel reading that will be crying harder they was when

- 29:36Speaker 2: asked me at one point, she said, Steve Harvey, are
- 29:39Speaker 2: you serious? My response was as comedic as I could.

- 40:47Speaker 2: Coming up.
- 40:47Speaker 1: More of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.
- 40:51Speaker 6: What's going on?
- 40:52Speaker 2: This is Kevin Hart and I want to thank everybody
- 40:53Speaker 2: for listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 40:57Speaker 1: It is time now to.
- 40:58Speaker 7: Check Steve's voicemail and if you want to leave a
- 41:00Speaker 7: message for Steve, call him eight seven seven twenty nine.
- 41:03Speaker 1: Steve. All right, Steve, this first caller has a spiritual
- 41:07Speaker 1: question for you.
- 41:08Speaker 13: Good evening, Steve. Thank you so much for sharing your
- 41:11Speaker 13: inspirational relationship with God with the world. My question is simple,
- 41:16Speaker 13: how does one stop longing for something that God has
- 41:19Speaker 13: obviously said no to that particular question. Thank you by bye.
- 41:26Speaker 2: That's a question. That's everybody's dilemma. We want what we want, Yeah,
- 41:34Speaker 2: that's everybody's delima. And then also sometimes what you want, Jess,
- 41:41Speaker 2: is in the form of temptation. You know, it's not
- 41:45Speaker 2: always longing for something you ask God for He told
- 41:49Speaker 2: you no. Sometimes God makes moves he know you wouldn't
- 41:53Speaker 2: make because he heard conversations you didn't hear, and He
- 41:57Speaker 2: made decisions that you just not gonna make for the
- 41:59Speaker 2: better of yourself. Example, I want this relationship to work
- 42:05Speaker 2: with this person. God know that ain't the one you need.
- 42:09Speaker 2: So sometimes He don't aid you in doing that. Now
- 42:12Speaker 2: you can run off and do it yourself, but you're
- 42:14Speaker 2: gonna get beat up. He not coming back. You quit
- 42:18Speaker 2: asking God for him to come back. He not coming
- 42:20Speaker 2: back now, ain't got nothing to do with God. The
- 42:22Speaker 2: dude you want and made a decision that he don't
- 42:25Speaker 2: want you. Now, once you keep asking God for him
- 42:29Speaker 2: for instead, you should ask God for somebody that want you.
- 42:34Speaker 2: So sometimes and I had to learn this myself. The
- 42:38Speaker 2: thing that I'm asking God for that I keep getting
- 42:41Speaker 2: a know to is for a reason. Yeah, and it's
- 42:46Speaker 2: usually been because God has something better for me. But
- 42:50Speaker 2: you got to open up yourself to the better and
- 42:52Speaker 2: stop thinking you got the answer. You can't ask God
- 42:55Speaker 2: to bless you and then tell him how to do it.
- 42:58Speaker 2: That's just that.
- 43:00Speaker 1: Uh huh, all right, you've got a preach up in here.
- 43:02Speaker 7: You met a minister, all right, this caller, all right.
- 43:08Speaker 7: Last week we had a colo question, Steve.
- 43:11Speaker 1: It was about the uh.
- 43:12Speaker 7: It was from the married woman who had emailed us.
- 43:14Speaker 7: She asked us if she was wrong because she purchased
- 43:18Speaker 7: Raider season football tickets but change them from her husband's
- 43:21Speaker 7: name to her name after he told her he preferred
- 43:24Speaker 7: attending the games with his boys instead of going with her.
- 43:28Speaker 1: So this caller has a comment about that.
- 43:30Speaker 10: Hey, Steve, come listening your radio show this morning, and
- 43:34Speaker 10: I agree with you. My husband is one of the
- 43:37Speaker 10: three brothers.
- 43:38Speaker 1: The brothers need to be Togebo.
- 43:40Speaker 2: Sometimes just for men.
- 43:42Speaker 9: I'm okay with him hanging with his brothers.
- 43:44Speaker 10: You don't need me around all the time.
- 43:46Speaker 12: We didn't gather once in four seven, seven days a week.
- 43:49Speaker 3: Let that man have some men time.
- 43:51Speaker 10: If you don't, you want to drive him crazy.
- 43:54Speaker 3: And you gonna want to know why he ain't home.
- 43:56Speaker 10: Boy, he's coming home and go straight to leave. These
- 43:58Speaker 10: woman needs to let her loose. You want to hang
- 44:00Speaker 10: with your girls, Hang with your girls.
- 44:02Speaker 1: You don't ask to come.
- 44:04Speaker 12: I love it when my husband hang with his brothers.
- 44:06Speaker 3: Let them men have that many time.
- 44:09Speaker 2: Y'all have a good day, because listen, everybody needs me time. Yeah. Say,
- 44:20Speaker 2: when I tell my wife I'm going on the golf trip,
- 44:23Speaker 2: she want to be talking little can I go?
- 44:25Speaker 12: No?
- 44:26Speaker 1: She know I don't want her to go right now.
- 44:28Speaker 2: I want to go play golf, talk trash, get through,
- 44:32Speaker 2: go eat without showering. Then I want to take a shower.
- 44:36Speaker 2: All these speeches you got, you've been playing golf. I'm
- 44:40Speaker 2: hungry now, I'm hungry. Now, I'm hungry now and now
- 44:47Speaker 2: here she come? She'd have walked in the room. I
- 44:49Speaker 2: do want to go. Well, you ain't. You ain't get
- 44:55Speaker 2: out of this studio, Marjorie, you're not going to play golf.
- 45:03Speaker 2: You are not going to play golf. No, you don't
- 45:07Speaker 2: want to go to not going? I want to talk,
- 45:12Speaker 2: want to shower when you asked me to shout, Now,
- 45:19Speaker 2: why don't you take a shower first? You'll enjoy your
- 45:21Speaker 2: food better.
- 45:22Speaker 1: Who need a.
- 45:23Speaker 2: Shower to enjoy it?
- 45:27Speaker 6: Man?
- 45:30Speaker 2: Can we go to break?
- 45:31Speaker 1: Yeah, it's about that time. We love all right?
- 45:37Speaker 9: All right?
- 45:38Speaker 1: Coming up next it is the Nephew today's break phone call.
- 45:42Speaker 1: We'll get into it right after this.

- 45:50Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 56:11Speaker 7: Thank you nephew. Subject he's patting everything here. Stephen Shirley.
- 56:16Speaker 7: I'm a forty two year old woman and I met
- 56:18Speaker 7: a man that lied about his age and other things.
- 56:21Speaker 7: When I met him, he's six ' four and very
- 56:24Speaker 7: nice looking with curly hair, but he's very skinny. He
- 56:28Speaker 7: had a large groin area and I couldn't help but
- 56:31Speaker 7: see it since he is such a tall man. We
- 56:34Speaker 7: met in a grocery store and he was staring at
- 56:37Speaker 7: me for a long time, and then he finally spoke
- 56:40Speaker 7: and said, my beauty had him mesmerized. We exchange numbers
- 56:44Speaker 7: and a few days later I met him out for
- 56:46Speaker 7: a drink. I would have preferred to go to dinner,
- 56:49Speaker 7: but that's not what he offered on our first date.
- 56:54Speaker 7: That's when he started laying it on thick with the lies.
- 56:57Speaker 7: He said he's forty eight years old and he played
- 57:00Speaker 7: ball in college, but he didn't get a chance to
- 57:02Speaker 7: go pro because he hurt his foot. He said his
- 57:05Speaker 7: home is getting renovated, so he's staying in one of
- 57:09Speaker 7: his rental properties. He never told me what he does
- 57:12Speaker 7: for a living, but he says he dabbles in the
- 57:15Speaker 7: stock market. I loved getting to know him, so I
- 57:18Speaker 7: continued to hang out with him. After about two months,
- 57:22Speaker 7: I was ready to be intimate with him. As he
- 57:25Speaker 7: got undressed, I noticed his underwear had a cup like
- 57:29Speaker 7: feature in the front, and that was the bulge I
- 57:32Speaker 7: always saw. I asked him about his underwear and he
- 57:35Speaker 7: told me that a lot of men wear those to
- 57:37Speaker 7: protect themselves. He also had on an undershirt, a black
- 57:42Speaker 7: T shirt and a button front shirt and explained that
- 57:46Speaker 7: he likes to pad his chest because he is skinny.
- 57:49Speaker 7: We ended up doing the do and he was small
- 57:52Speaker 7: and terrible.
- 57:54Speaker 1: Since that night.
- 57:58Speaker 7: Since that night, he's admitted that he's sixty four. He
- 58:02Speaker 7: works as a custodial manager. He never played basketball, and
- 58:06Speaker 7: he's never been to college. It's clear that he does
- 58:09Speaker 7: not have a house either. Since he has come clean
- 58:12Speaker 7: about the lies, should I give him a chance to
- 58:14Speaker 7: prove himself or break it off? Well, I think he's
- 58:18Speaker 7: already proven himself. He doesn't tell the truth, and not
- 58:22Speaker 7: just little lies. He tells his big, elaborate lies. He
- 58:25Speaker 7: didn't tell you the truth about anything, So how can
- 58:28Speaker 7: you trust him now? He told you he was forty eight,
- 58:31Speaker 7: he's sixty four. Men may lie about a lot of things,
- 58:35Speaker 7: but they usually they usually don't lie about their age.
- 58:39Speaker 7: Everything he told you was a lie. And the thing
- 58:42Speaker 7: about it is is that he didn't have to do
- 58:45Speaker 7: that when people lie. It serves only them, only them,
- 58:49Speaker 7: because they don't give you a chance to make an
- 58:51Speaker 7: informed decision, and it leaves you no options. It's selfish
- 58:55Speaker 7: on their part because they're just trying to get what
- 58:57Speaker 7: they want.
- 58:59Speaker 1: You said he's terrible in bed and small. Wow, you
- 59:04Speaker 1: said that.
- 59:04Speaker 7: But even with all of that and all of the
- 59:07Speaker 7: lies going against him, you continue to go out with him,
- 59:10Speaker 7: and you want to give him another chance. That's what
- 59:12Speaker 7: you're asking us. You like him and you're torn right now.
- 59:15Speaker 7: I'm glad he came clean and finally told you the truth,
- 59:19Speaker 7: if that really is the truth. But I say, when
- 59:21Speaker 7: the red flags show up, you have to pay attention.
- 59:24Speaker 7: Pay attention to what he does, Okay, what he does
- 59:28Speaker 7: right now, not what he says, because that will determine
- 59:32Speaker 7: how you should move forward. Every lie he told you
- 59:35Speaker 7: in the beginning was a red flag. Hopefully he's changed
- 59:38Speaker 7: for the good now, hopefully Steve im possible.
- 59:43Speaker 2: Im possible. Ladies, you all have got to start listening
- 59:50Speaker 2: to what a man is saying to you, because what
- 59:55Speaker 2: he is saying to you and doing to you sink
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: up immediately. Let me say this to y'all, what a
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: man is saying to you and doing to you. It
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: has to link up e immediately. If it doesn't link
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: up immediately, you are in for what you always end
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: up being for a surprise. Stephen Cheryl, I'm a forty
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: two old woman. I met a man that lied about
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: his age and other things. When I met him. He's
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: six foot four and very nice looking. Okay, ain't no
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: problem currently hair, But he was skinny, see that button skinny.
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: He had a large growing area, and I couldn't help
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: it since he's such a tall man. So what you're trying,
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: It was just right there.
- 1:00:51Speaker 6: Huh.
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: He's six four U five to two. He was right there.
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: He was right there. Okay.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: She said she couldn't help, but.
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: She couldn't help when I'm down here in the grocery store,
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: I'm I'm our level with the handle on the grocery car.
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: All I saw was Lord have mercy six folk, and
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: he had on some pridate platform shoes. So now he
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: bout probably six six six self. Oh yeah. Oh and Tommy,
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: by the way, probably got a new shoe out with
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: a heavy platform and Soloh yeah, get you a few pairs,
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: get it in all. What I just thought of that
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: you know, get him in all the colors, and you
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: didn't look lost thing him too once you got big
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: ass feet, so it'll work out. We met at the
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: grocery store. He was standing at me for a long time,
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: said it's beauty, my beauty messarzs. Y'all exchanged them a
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: few lads now here we go. We met him out
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: for a drink. I would have preferred to go to dinner,
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: but that's not where he offered. Our first date is
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: when he started laying it on thick with the lies. Remember,
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: I said, listen to what a man says, and it
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: has to sink up with what he does. He said
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: he's funny years old, played Barley College but didn't get
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: a chance to go pro.
- 1:02:06Speaker 6: Now.
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: He also told you he dabbles into stock market. He
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: has rental properties. I'm just saying this. I'm getting the
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: head of the letter. He gonna tell you he dabbles
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: in this talk he got rental properties. But did all
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: y'all getting was drinks? All right, hang on, you'll see that.
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: We'll get back to your response.
- 1:02:25Speaker 7: Part two coming up at twenty three minutes after be
- 1:02:28Speaker 7: our today's Strawberry letter subject.
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: He's padding everything we'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:02:37Speaker 7: It's time to talk about life insurance. It's one of
- 1:02:39Speaker 7: those things that everyone should have, and Globe Life makes
- 1:02:43Speaker 7: it easy with no medical exam, just a simple application

- 1:03:02Speaker 7: That's globelife radio dot com or one eight hundred two
- 1:03:06Speaker 7: five one fifty four hundred. All right, come on, Steve,
- 1:03:10Speaker 7: let's recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject is he's patting everything.
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: Everything, but you gotta watch what they say. Ladies for
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: the watch, listen to what a man says and has
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: to line up with what he does immediately. Immediately, she
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: met this dude sixfold, nice looking, big package, so she
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: thought he's six fold, so she couldn't help but notice it.
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: He tall, he's skiddy, he got curly hair. He said,
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: your beauty mesmerizing. Y'all exchange numbers. A few days later,
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: he asked you out. I met him out for a
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: drink you wanted to go to dinner. But that's not
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: what he offered our first date. It's when he started
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: laying it on thick with the list. He said, he's
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: forty eight years old. He played ball in college, but
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: it didn't get a chance to go because it hurt
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: his foot. He said his home is getting renovated, so
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: he's staying in one of his rental properties. Okay, one
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: of us, but y'all just having drinks. Though. He never
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: told me what he does for a living, but he
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: said he dabbles in the stock mark. I love getting
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: to know him, so I continue to hang out with him.
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: After about two months, I was ready to be intimate
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: with him. As he got undressed, I noticed his underwear
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: had a cup like feature in the front. And that
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: was the bulge. I that was the budge I always saw.
- 1:04:43Speaker 12: What is that?
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: I asked about his underwear? He told me A lot
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: of me and wadows to protect themselves. Not the only
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: thing me and where to protect themselves is when they
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: play in sports or boxing, and it's called the cup.
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: You can see it on all football players uniforms, got
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: every last one of them wearing cup. Don't nobody wear
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: that in their dress? Paints nobody and if he that
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: tall and skiddy, what is he protecting it from? What
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: is he doing? But right there it was a clue
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: because you found out later on what he really did.
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: So now you find out why he needed a cup.
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: A lot of men don't wear that that. A lot
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: of men is just blessed?
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: Are we going there now?
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: I mean it's a lot of men's blessed. That's what
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: she's talking about. She has do all men do that
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: and all. So when y'all was getting naked, he had
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: on an undershirt, a black T shirt and a button
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: up shirt. He's saying, that's a lot. He said what
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: he said, he likes to pass his chest because he's skinny.
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: That a lot of shirts. We ended up doing the
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: do and he was small and terrible. Since that night,
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: he's admitted, now here we go, he's six four. See,
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: you know where he got that. He's sixty four. He
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: admitted he's sixty four. You know where he got that
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: from because you said he was six folk. See, so
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: he just kept that information. That's true. But he told
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: you he was forty eight years old. He works as
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: a custodio manager. Thus explained the cup. See when you
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: you might fall on the bucket, helder, you're gonna need
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: that cup. You slip down them steps and hit that railing.
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: You need that cup. One of them little kids at
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: the elementary school get tired. I'm tired. You missed hal
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: barm and blast you what you dead in your zipper?
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: You need that cup. Because he ain't a janitor, he
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: the custodian. See, he ain't tell you where he worked
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: at because he worked down at the school. He said,
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: he's a one er custodio manager. He the only one.
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: Ain't but one janitor at the school. He the only one,
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: so he managed hisself. He never played basketball and never
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: been to college. So now he ain't athletic, but he
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: wear an athletic cup. And he ain't got no education,
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: no chance for further advancement. It's clear he does not
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: have a house either. Yeah, that's clear. When y'all just
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: had them drinks and he was staying in one of
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: his rental properties because you can't go over there. Since
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: he's come clean about the live, should I give him
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: a chance to prove himself a break. He's already proven himself. Ladies,
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: stop electing red flags. Stop this is a red flag,
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: six foot fold, curly hair, forty eight, played ball, hurt
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: his foot, he got rental properties, dabbling the stock market.
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: Truth of the matter is he's sixty four. Now, how
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: you let this man tell you with forty eight and
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: he's sixty four when they started pulling them old ass
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: clothes off. Look at his outfits. Look at his outfit.
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: You aren't paying no attention most sixty four year old
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: dudes unless they fly.
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: Now.
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: A lot of fly brothers out there. I see them
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: all the time, cats that I admire. When I see
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: him dressed up, he ain't it. He can't play ball,
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: He even broke it, little fragile last foot. He ain't
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: got no education, no chance for advancement. He a janitor
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: down at the school and ain't nothing wrong that. But
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: you just collect the red flag and d just started line.
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: He not fitting to stop lied. This is a red flash.
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: He don't lie about everything. You don't think it's some
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: mo lies coming have to be on your mind. You
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: could ask me more about this letter. If you won't,
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: you will we come back.

- 1:10:35Speaker 2: And she don't know what he did for a living.
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: He said he dabbling the stock market. And he not
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: at his regular house right now because he's staying in
- 1:10:42Speaker 2: one of his rental problems.
- 1:10:44Speaker 7: She said he had a large groin area and I
- 1:10:46Speaker 7: couldn't help. But see it since here she couldn't help
- 1:10:49Speaker 7: this man.
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: Well, he's six folks. She fired to right there with
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: a grocery card in her hand, just knocking over the
- 1:10:59Speaker 2: handleball on grocery car. What else is right there? Well,
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: they go home, they trade numbers, and finally she started
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: liking they getting nicked. He got on four shirts because
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: he liked to pat his chest because he's because he's skinny.
- 1:11:14Speaker 2: He got four shirts on. Then he pulled his pants down.
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: You know, the drawers had a cup in the front.
- 1:11:19Speaker 2: He said, a lot of men wear that to protect theyself.
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: You don't wear a cup unless you play sports, football,
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: box and stuff like that. You have on the cup
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: and you hell no, But he got but he wears
- 1:11:33Speaker 2: because of his job is come to find out, he
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: a janitor.
- 1:11:37Speaker 3: So he.
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: Yeah, and but the only reason he the manager because
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: he the custodian, and he the only one worked there,
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: so he managed herself. So now he said, I know
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: how to do this here and ain't nothing to this dude.
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: And now he got to wear that cup because he
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: was slipped on that mop handle bucket before and and
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: damn here'll send his children in heaven early. So now
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: that's why he weded cook.
- 1:12:02Speaker 7: I gotta ask you something, though, Steve. Do men lie
- 1:12:06Speaker 7: about their age? I've just never know.
- 1:12:09Speaker 12: I don't.
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: I'm too famous for that. I don't know. I really
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: don't know a lot of men to lie about that.
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: No, No, that's what I really don't.
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure they do. But why would you do that?
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: To say? You forty eight? What's the different? Biggest? Sixteen
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: years different? Yeah, he wanted her to think in sixteen
- 1:12:26Speaker 2: more years, I'd be put it together. We have a
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: good life. What you're like, you had your good life.
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: It's always more to it. But you got to be
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: a different person. You gotta stop all this life.
- 1:12:36Speaker 7: That's part three of today's Struwberry letter. They are chatting
- 1:12:39Speaker 7: everything coming up. At the top of the hour, Steve movie, Oh,
- 1:12:45Speaker 7: a woman walks out on her date because he wouldn't
- 1:12:48Speaker 7: pay a three dollars charge for extra cheese on his burger.
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after.
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: Mister Steve Harbin Martin show Man, Why do we have
- 1:12:58Speaker 2: a radio show if we're gonna do right? That's stupid.
- 1:13:04Speaker 2: That's what I'm talking about.
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: Boy man. Why after?
- 1:13:16Speaker 7: A New York woman Steve has gone viral after walking
- 1:13:19Speaker 7: out on her date who refused to pay an extra
- 1:13:21Speaker 7: three dollars for a slice of cheese on his burger.
- 1:13:24Speaker 7: The couple met on an online dating site and they
- 1:13:28Speaker 7: were on their first date. This was their first date.
- 1:13:32Speaker 7: The woman who goes by Dafna Diamont on TikTok got
- 1:13:36Speaker 7: irritated when her date ordered a regular burger instead of
- 1:13:39Speaker 7: a cheeseburger, uh, because there was a three dollars up
- 1:13:42Speaker 7: charge for cheese.
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: You'll never believe what she did next. Take a listen
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: and he's like, oh.
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: My god, you have to be extra for everything these days.
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: And I'm like, yeah, it's New York City.
- 1:13:54Speaker 14: So I had my Bernardino, he got his burger. We
- 1:13:57Speaker 14: were eating, and once so satisfied, I got off and
- 1:14:02Speaker 14: I was like, I'm going to the restroom for a second.
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: I took my purse and.
- 1:14:06Speaker 14: I went to the waitress and I was like, hey,
- 1:14:09Speaker 14: I just want to pay the bill. And I just
- 1:14:12Speaker 14: paid the bill and walks out of the restaurant and
- 1:14:14Speaker 14: I texted him. So I texted him, the check is
- 1:14:17Speaker 14: taken care of. We should have gotten in the cheese.
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: And I blocked him.
- 1:14:22Speaker 2: Yeah, out, pardon you need to start traveling with cheese
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: on him when he needs.
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: Cheese craft.
- 1:14:33Speaker 2: Leaving. I mean, that's a red flag if you trip
- 1:14:37Speaker 2: it over the three dollars on the cheese. So at least,
- 1:14:40Speaker 2: first of all, I'm not gonna let you see that
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: side of me, not on the first day.
- 1:14:47Speaker 3: No, no, no, no.
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: So you you so stupid. You don't even know how
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: to act. So if that's how he acted on the
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: first date, what is date.
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: Fifteen, he'll never get into blocked him.
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: It's three dollars for some cheese. Man.
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe he didn't have that. Maybe he didn't have that.
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: Well, if you ain't got that, he don't need to
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: build no date, no date, You ain't gonna cheese one.
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: What hell gonna happen? If they say, would you like
- 1:15:18Speaker 2: these truffles over here? Like of cavia?
- 1:15:26Speaker 3: What?
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: Yeah, Yeah, it's over for real.
- 1:15:31Speaker 7: The video has been viewed by over six million people
- 1:15:34Speaker 7: six million times in The comments were mostly in favor
- 1:15:37Speaker 7: of the guy that she walked out on.
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: Can you believe that?
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: Real? See, that's the world we live in today.
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: They think she overreacted.
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I don't think it's an overreaction. I think
- 1:15:48Speaker 2: she's going. Okay, hold up, I met this guy on line.
- 1:15:50Speaker 2: Let me stop this right now, because if you don't
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: see this red flag right here right three dollars for cheese? Yeah,
- 1:16:01Speaker 2: come on, man, if that's if? If three? I remember
- 1:16:06Speaker 2: once a guy came to my house who wasn't supposed
- 1:16:12Speaker 2: to be there. And this was the first house I
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: owned in Texas and it was wasn't the smallest house
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: I've ever owned. It had in it one, two, three,
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: four of us. It had six bathrooms in it. That's
- 1:16:33Speaker 2: my first house. Well a couple of them was half baths.
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: What you said, it's the smallest house.
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: What I'm like stunned? Right now, this man, let's finish
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: hearing this story about finish.
- 1:16:55Speaker 2: But we're coming back to this dog. Obviously, I thought
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: sharing this, you gotta be a little bit.
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: More, all right, I'm gonna stop hating ahead.
- 1:17:10Speaker 2: He walked out the house and told his son who
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: was with him, that man right there got a problem,
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: because do you have any idea how much toilet tissue
- 1:17:24Speaker 2: he got to buy? You know that story taken?
- 1:17:36Speaker 7: Go on?
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: Should I have reduced the number of bathrooms you got?
- 1:17:42Speaker 2: You got toilet paper money?

- 1:18:09Speaker 1: In fact, they're leaving without telling anyone.
- 1:18:13Speaker 7: It's called ghosting coasting, okay, And it's when an employee

- 1:24:18Speaker 1: the day, Steve.
- 1:24:20Speaker 7: We've had a good day, talked about a lot of stuff,
- 1:24:22Speaker 7: and of course, as usual, it is time for your
- 1:24:24Speaker 7: closing remarks today.
- 1:24:27Speaker 2: I want to keep it positive, but I want to
- 1:24:29Speaker 2: keep it encouraging at the same time. And always as usual,
- 1:24:34Speaker 2: I just want to say this before I start. It's
- 1:24:37Speaker 2: not that I think I know everything, because I don't,
- 1:24:41Speaker 2: but I have learned quite a bit. I have learned
- 1:24:45Speaker 2: how to come from the back towards the front. I've
- 1:24:49Speaker 2: learned how to be at the bottom and work my
- 1:24:51Speaker 2: way towards the top. I've learned how to get over
- 1:24:56Speaker 2: because I've been under I've learned how to win because
- 1:25:00Speaker 2: I have lost so many times. I've have learned how
- 1:25:05Speaker 2: to develop an understanding because I have been more than
- 1:25:09Speaker 2: confused before. So I have paid for these lessons that
- 1:25:13Speaker 2: I've learned. So I'm just sharing and that's all I'm doing.
- 1:25:17Speaker 2: You don't have to take any of this that I
- 1:25:19Speaker 2: say to harder. You may choose to go another way.
- 1:25:22Speaker 2: But for those that are really open to just hearing
- 1:25:26Speaker 2: some theories of success, That's why I decided to start
- 1:25:30Speaker 2: doing closing remarks again. Today, I want to talk to
- 1:25:33Speaker 2: you about something that really helps everybody, and it's very simple.
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: Get focused. You got to get focused, folks. You've got
- 1:25:43Speaker 2: to become what I call laser beam driven. You've got
- 1:25:49Speaker 2: to set your goals and visions up, and you've got
- 1:25:52Speaker 2: to put those blinders on that you see on the horse.
- 1:25:55Speaker 3: See.
- 1:25:55Speaker 2: The reason they put the blinders on a horse is
- 1:25:58Speaker 2: so that the horse is peru if your vision doesn't
- 1:26:01Speaker 2: distract him. If you have up in New York and
- 1:26:04Speaker 2: you see those carriages going around Central Park, all those
- 1:26:07Speaker 2: horses have on blinders is so that they can keep
- 1:26:11Speaker 2: their attention of the horse straight ahead. Blinders are very good.
- 1:26:16Speaker 2: If you want to be successful, you're gonna have to
- 1:26:19Speaker 2: put on a pair of blinders that's so your eyes
- 1:26:23Speaker 2: when you look left or right, it forces you to
- 1:26:25Speaker 2: get them back out front the way you're trying to go,
- 1:26:28Speaker 2: see because those blinders block out distractions. They block out
- 1:26:32Speaker 2: distractions because they know. You got to get laser beam focused.
- 1:26:37Speaker 2: If you want to be successful, you have to focus.
- 1:26:41Speaker 2: You have to stop veering off track. You're just making
- 1:26:45Speaker 2: the journey longer. You know, they say the quickest way
- 1:26:49Speaker 2: from point A to B is a straight line. Now
- 1:26:51Speaker 2: in life, it doesn't work that way. There's no straight lines.
- 1:26:54Speaker 2: But you can avoid some of the detours, some of
- 1:26:58Speaker 2: the distractions. But you gotta quit veering off track. Everybody
- 1:27:05Speaker 2: come to you. You can't participate in everything. Hey man,
- 1:27:07Speaker 2: we going out tonight. Hey man, we're going over here
- 1:27:10Speaker 2: this weekend. Hey man, come on man, you ain't got
- 1:27:12Speaker 2: to study. We getting ready to do this. Hey man,
- 1:27:14Speaker 2: don't worry about that. We going a happy hour. Come on, man,
- 1:27:17Speaker 2: you can't go to everything. Stop veering off track. Next,
- 1:27:21Speaker 2: look at it like this. Get your mind made up.
- 1:27:24Speaker 2: Get your mind made up of what you want to
- 1:27:27Speaker 2: have in your life, the legacy you want to leave,
