- 2:16Speaker 1: got it. I think I got something that's that rings
- 2:21Speaker 1: for everybody here it is. Did you know? Did you know?
- 2:27Speaker 1: And I'm talking to everybody, did you know that there
- 2:32Speaker 1: is a life for you that's greater than you could
- 2:38Speaker 1: have ever dreamed of? Did you know that there is
- 2:42Speaker 1: a life for you better than you could have ever imagined.
- 2:48Speaker 1: There's a life for you better than the one you
- 2:51Speaker 1: thought you could have. Did you know that there's a
- 2:55Speaker 1: life for you better than the one you've ever felt before?
- 3:00Speaker 1: Did you know that that was a life for you
- 3:04Speaker 1: greater than the one you saw for yourself. Did you
- 3:11Speaker 1: know that there is a life for you greater than
- 3:17Speaker 1: you had expected? And did you know that there was
- 3:21Speaker 1: a life for you much bigger than the one you wanted?
- 3:28Speaker 1: At Lastly, did you know that what I just said
- 3:32Speaker 1: it is true? Did you know that? Did you know
- 3:38Speaker 1: that the things I just said are available to you? Yeah? You.
- 3:46Speaker 1: It's not just intended for other people. It's not just
- 3:51Speaker 1: intended for the rich. It's not intended for those with
- 3:58Speaker 1: college degrees. It's not just intended for those who receive awards.
- 4:07Speaker 1: It's for everybody. Yeah, you two, It's for you who
- 4:16Speaker 1: didn't get your high school diploma. It's for you who
- 4:21Speaker 1: are incarcerated. It's for you who have two strikes. It's
- 4:31Speaker 1: for you who've been sentenced to life. It's for you
- 4:36Speaker 1: who've gotten out and have a felony record and can't
- 4:40Speaker 1: seem to get it together. It's for you who have
- 4:44Speaker 1: an illness. It's for you who the doctors have given
- 4:50Speaker 1: up on. It's for you, this life I'm talking about,
- 4:56Speaker 1: it's for you. Did you know that there's a life
- 5:03Speaker 1: for you better than the one you dreamed about? Better
- 5:06Speaker 1: than the one you've imagined, a life better than the
- 5:10Speaker 1: one you thought of. That there's a life for you
- 5:12Speaker 1: better than the one you've ever felt before. There's a
- 5:17Speaker 1: life for you better than the one you saw for yourself.
- 5:19Speaker 1: There's a better life for you than the one you
- 5:22Speaker 1: expected and even the one you wanted. Did you know
- 5:27Speaker 1: that this is true for you? See? Here's let me
- 5:32Speaker 1: give you the secret to this thing. Now you have
- 5:37Speaker 1: to believe that it is for you. Now, you got
- 5:41Speaker 1: to fight through the doubts. You got to fight through
- 5:44Speaker 1: the wheel of satan, because the devil is busy. Man.
- 5:47Speaker 1: The devil wants you to think that is hopeless. The
- 5:50Speaker 1: devil wants you to think that this is it. The
- 5:52Speaker 1: devil wants you to think that ain't no more to it.
- 5:55Speaker 1: The devil wants you to think that this applies to
- 5:57Speaker 1: other people. But you, Yeah, you've been out the worst
- 6:00Speaker 1: hand of them all, which you ain't. But that's what
- 6:02Speaker 1: the devil wants you to think. So you gotta fight through. Now,
- 6:06Speaker 1: you gotta fight through to get to what I just
- 6:08Speaker 1: said is available for you. But what else you got
- 6:11Speaker 1: to do? You ain't doing nothing else, might as well fight?
- 6:15Speaker 1: Why just wake up and just let it be. Why
- 6:17Speaker 1: would you wake up every day and just exist when
- 6:20Speaker 1: there's a chance for you to actually live. See the
- 6:23Speaker 1: reason I don't mind smiling so much now is because
- 6:26Speaker 1: I'm no longer existing. I'm living now. See. See, that's
- 6:31Speaker 1: what you want to get to. You don't want to
- 6:33Speaker 1: exist to wake up, paycheck to paycheck, date today, not knowing,
- 6:38Speaker 1: not understanding, not having, can't can't get this, can't get that,
- 6:42Speaker 1: can't go here, can't go there, Gotta wait, gotta wait,
- 6:46Speaker 1: gotta wait, gota wait till it seems like you never
- 6:48Speaker 1: get nowhere. You can get out of that rut of life,
- 6:52Speaker 1: feeling like when you wake up in the morning, that
- 6:54Speaker 1: your life is whole hum that you're just in a rut.
- 6:57Speaker 1: I drive the same way to work. I do the
- 6:59Speaker 1: same thing on my job. When I get off, I
- 7:01Speaker 1: drive all the way back home. I sit there, I
- 7:04Speaker 1: read the newspaper. I water the lawn. I'm so sick
- 7:08Speaker 1: of my life. It ain't this, ain't what I wanted. Man,
- 7:11Speaker 1: and start wake up and start over, do the same thing.
- 7:14Speaker 1: Then the weekend gets in. You got to mow the lawn,
- 7:17Speaker 1: and then you try to fix something in the garage,
- 7:19Speaker 1: and you feel like your life is in the rut
- 7:21Speaker 1: I'm talking about. If this feels like a rut to
- 7:23Speaker 1: you know, if it's what you've always wanted, I'm cool
- 7:26Speaker 1: with that. But I'm talking to people who want it more,
- 7:30Speaker 1: who would love their life to be more, who would
- 7:32Speaker 1: love their life to different, to be different. I'm not
- 7:35Speaker 1: criticizing you if I just described your life. I'm just
- 7:38Speaker 1: only talking to the ones who would dare to believe
- 7:43Speaker 1: that there's more to it than this. I'm only talking
- 7:46Speaker 1: to the ones who would dad dad to accept the challenge,
- 7:50Speaker 1: to fight through and see what God got for you
- 7:53Speaker 1: instead of listening to Satan all the time. Devil is busy, man,
- 7:57Speaker 1: Please understand, he's so busy. So is he trying to
- 8:00Speaker 1: trick you, get you into the groove. You know they're
- 8:03Speaker 1: doing all kinds of stuff now man, you know atheists
- 8:07Speaker 1: and already got prayer. Taking out of schools. Excuse me,
- 8:10Speaker 1: look at our skills schools, not as a push by
- 8:12Speaker 1: the atheist to get the words in God we trust,
- 8:15Speaker 1: taking off our money. Here's a deal. If you don't
- 8:17Speaker 1: believe in God, and you don't want trust in God,
- 8:19Speaker 1: just going about your business. But what you can't do
- 8:21Speaker 1: is spill off all into what I'm talking about. That's
- 8:24Speaker 1: the problem I have with all of them. If you're
- 8:26Speaker 1: gonna do you, didn't do you, but don't spill off
- 8:29Speaker 1: into what I got now. See, If you don't believe
- 8:31Speaker 1: what I'm saying, then I ain't talking to you. Let's
- 8:34Speaker 1: just be clear about the relationship with Steve Harvey and
- 8:37Speaker 1: his crew. I'm only talking to the people that believe
- 8:40Speaker 1: that are looking for something else, that wants something more,
- 8:43Speaker 1: that wants something better, that's gotta be out there searching
- 8:47Speaker 1: and hoping and trying to do more. That's all I'm
- 8:50Speaker 1: talking to now. If you don't believe what I'm saying
- 8:54Speaker 1: is true, didn't go ahead and try it your way?
- 8:55Speaker 1: Go see write me, email me, let me know how
- 8:58Speaker 1: it's going for you. But I'm telling you of a
- 9:01Speaker 1: way that's tried and true. If you go to God,
- 9:04Speaker 1: if you go to your creator, your makeup, if you
- 9:07Speaker 1: go to him and you go to him for real
- 9:12Speaker 1: and tell him, hey, you know what I want you
- 9:14Speaker 1: to go ahead and take over from here. I'm done.
- 9:17Speaker 1: I didn't done all I know how to do out
- 9:20Speaker 1: and tried everything I know how to try. I'm sick.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Of me right now. Hey, look here, you created me
- 9:25Speaker 1: what you want me to do, and you're a cool
- 9:27Speaker 1: thing about it. When I made that decision, y'all. See,
- 9:30Speaker 1: I was so afraid for years that I was gonna
- 9:32Speaker 1: miss out on something if I did that. I couldn't
- 9:35Speaker 1: do this no more. But the stuff I needed to
- 9:36Speaker 1: stop doing. I really need to stop the things I
- 9:39Speaker 1: was afraid of not being able to do anymore with
- 9:42Speaker 1: the very same things I really didn't need to be
- 9:44Speaker 1: doing no more in the first place. On the real man,
- 9:47Speaker 1: on the real all that temporary fun, I was having
- 9:51Speaker 1: all them temporary outlets. I was using all them temporary
- 9:55Speaker 1: things trying to fulfill myself I was doing. I was
- 9:58Speaker 1: just doing a bunch of temporary mess man. I said,
- 10:01Speaker 1: hold up, man, I want something permanent. Man, I want
- 10:04Speaker 1: a permanent feeling in my heart that it's gonna be
- 10:06Speaker 1: all right. So he replaced all that fun with joy.
- 10:10Speaker 1: But it was only because I went and I faced him.
- 10:13Speaker 1: He didn't take me and stop me from being me.
- 10:17Speaker 1: He just made a better version of me. See, God,
- 10:20Speaker 1: don't take he because all the stuff he sent you through,
- 10:23Speaker 1: he needed you to go through all him. He needed
- 10:25Speaker 1: you to have him experience or what it felt like
- 10:27Speaker 1: to be locked up. He needed you to have experience
- 10:30Speaker 1: and know what it was to lose everything. He needed
- 10:32Speaker 1: you to have experience to make you tough. You're just
- 10:35Speaker 1: gonna be a tough one. I'm a tough soldier in
- 10:39Speaker 1: his army. That's all. I just say. One of the
- 10:41Speaker 1: weak ones. I protect the weak ones. God didn't take
- 10:47Speaker 1: a lot of stuff from it, except the stuff I needed,
- 10:49Speaker 1: but the stuff he made me to be. He allowed
- 10:52Speaker 1: me to keep it, and he just made a better me.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Do that, y'all, and you can have what you want.
- 10:57Speaker 1: You're listening, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, Monkeys, chinchillas, ferrets, parakeets, doves,
- 11:16Speaker 1: ring of tangs, mules and goats. What about a possum?
- 11:25Speaker 1: They're not everybody? Elephants. I just did everybody I wanted.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Is I just need you? Don't need no. I just
- 11:35Speaker 1: met rceros are getting mad about your animals. I want
- 11:42Speaker 1: to start show y'all wanta do it like just he
- 11:44Speaker 1: were just asking. I don't ask y'all for no help.
- 11:48Speaker 1: Just ain't Charles time. I ain't saying your name yet.

- 12:02Speaker 1: Appreciate you sitting there waiting on your turn to be
- 12:05Speaker 1: talked to. Yeah, you know, it's good when you have
- 12:08Speaker 1: team players like that that realize that there's no eye
- 12:11Speaker 1: in team. It's not but they just jumped right in here,
- 12:14Speaker 1: you know, just all just about them, you know what,
- 12:16Speaker 1: It's amazing, Junior, man, how do you work with people
- 12:19Speaker 1: like Well? I don't know. I just come in because
- 12:22Speaker 1: the check they've given me I needed. Ok. Yeah, I
- 12:25Speaker 1: gotta come on in. It's kind of like me too. Yeah,

- 32:50Speaker 1: I'm a friend of Mike's, always have been, you know,
- 32:54Speaker 1: I just know him a certain way. I don't. I
- 32:55Speaker 1: don't know anything about this, So I haven't watched the documentary.
- 33:00Speaker 1: You should. I mean, I don't have no interest in it.
- 33:03Speaker 1: I got I got enough going on as it is.
- 33:06Speaker 1: You know what you say about him now in his
- 33:09Speaker 1: passing there has nothing to do with me. You know
- 33:12Speaker 1: what you if you were trying to bring up some
- 33:13Speaker 1: charges something that be your animal store. I don't, I don't.
- 33:17Speaker 1: I don't have any interest in that. I have no
- 33:21Speaker 1: comment on it because I want to watch it. Man,
- 33:24Speaker 1: I'm still watching This is It? No, this is it?
- 33:30Speaker 1: Michael Jackson can documentary. Yeah, that was really good. Do
- 33:34Speaker 1: you think this is no? No no no no no no
- 33:36Speaker 1: no no when you can blow? What? What do you
- 33:39Speaker 1: think I was talking about? Jo? This is us? What
- 33:43Speaker 1: is this is us? Oh? My god? Like the number
- 33:47Speaker 1: one TV shows. That's why. That's why it's bigger than
- 33:55Speaker 1: This is It? Who is it? God? Okay, who in it?
- 34:02Speaker 1: Answer me? I told you you wouldn't know Michael Mandy Moore?
- 34:08Speaker 1: How about that? Oh? See exactly? All right, listen, it's
- 34:13Speaker 1: time for today's headline. Steve. Let's move on. Please, they've sewed.
- 34:21Speaker 1: You're listening to show Leaving Neverland, the documentary that details
- 34:27Speaker 1: the sexual abuse to men allegedly suffered at the hands
- 34:30Speaker 1: of Michael Jackson, Part two last night. Here's what you
- 34:34Speaker 1: need to know. The Lord of Michael Jackson's fame was irresistible.
- 34:37Speaker 1: Wade Robson and James safe Chuck both had dreams of
- 34:41Speaker 1: being in the entertainment industry. Wade met Jackson after winning
- 34:46Speaker 1: a dance contest. His mother Joy moved him, his sister
- 34:49Speaker 1: and herself from their native Australia on the promise that
- 34:54Speaker 1: Michael would make him a dancing star. James was in
- 34:58Speaker 1: a Pepsi commercial with Michael. When he turned ten, he
- 35:01Speaker 1: joined Michael on tour. His mom, Stephanie, said that to us,
- 35:04Speaker 1: she met celebrities like Sean Connery, flew first class and
- 35:08Speaker 1: with chaufford and limousines. James would sleep in the room
- 35:11Speaker 1: with Jackson, but his mother's room would get farther and
- 35:15Speaker 1: farther away from theirs. So there's a part of what
- 35:18Speaker 1: they were talking about on the Leaving Neverland documentary. Steve, Yeah, No,
- 35:23Speaker 1: I haven't. I don't. It's not anything i'm watching. I don't.
- 35:27Speaker 1: You know, he's a friend of mine. I'm not. I
- 35:30Speaker 1: have no interest in it at all. What do they
- 35:32Speaker 1: gain by this? I don't know. I mean, you know,
- 35:34Speaker 1: I have absolutely no comment, because you know, I don't.
- 35:38Speaker 1: I don't want people to misunderstand what being said. If
- 35:42Speaker 1: a person is a victim. I don't know. That, so
- 35:47Speaker 1: I'm not commenting on it. And if people is not
- 35:49Speaker 1: a victim and as fraudulent, I'm not commenting on that.
- 35:54Speaker 1: I'm just I'm just clear on this right here. Because
- 35:56Speaker 1: he was a friend of mine. I knew him, and
- 36:00Speaker 1: and that's why I am with you know whatever you're saying.
- 36:03Speaker 1: The brothers gone, Michaels. Yeah. The family said that Michael
- 36:08Speaker 1: built trust between them, and also that Neverland the compound
- 36:11Speaker 1: included an arcade, an amusement park, an assortment of exotic animals,
- 36:16Speaker 1: and the train station. It was a great playground and
- 36:20Speaker 1: the perfect place to keep parents away from their kids.
- 36:22Speaker 1: The victims claim this was where the abuse happened. What's y'all, well,
- 36:28Speaker 1: I mean, I'm kind of like you, Steve. I mean,
- 36:31Speaker 1: I was a huge Michael Jackson fan. I met him
- 36:33Speaker 1: one time. Um, I just you know, it's just hard
- 36:38Speaker 1: for me to believe this. I'm not ready to watch
- 36:40Speaker 1: this documentary yet. I have to say, I'm just not
- 36:43Speaker 1: ready to watch it. I started watching it, I couldn't
- 36:45Speaker 1: finish it. I couldn't. It's hard to watch, Steve, I mean,
- 36:49Speaker 1: you know, yeah, yeah, we were all fans of Michael Jackson,
- 36:52Speaker 1: and these guys had testified before that he trialed that
- 36:56Speaker 1: he did nothing to them, right, and Michael Jackson was acquitted.
- 37:00Speaker 1: It so it's hard to watch this documentary and now
- 37:04Speaker 1: all of a sudden, this just comes out of nowhere.
- 37:08Speaker 1: That's what I don't understand. What is it for? We
- 37:10Speaker 1: understand what you know, how you feel. I mean, you
- 37:12Speaker 1: knew him personally. I didn't know Michael Jackson personally. I
- 37:15Speaker 1: think people should have their opinion of it. I think
- 37:18Speaker 1: people should if they want to. I think people should
- 37:22Speaker 1: come to their own conclusion if they want to. I'm
- 37:25Speaker 1: I'm really man. I mean, I think that's good and
- 37:28Speaker 1: that's what they're doing. Yeah, and do you there's Steve Harvey.
- 37:33Speaker 1: I got I got other things I can do with
- 37:35Speaker 1: my day, all right, Well, coming up at thirty four
- 37:38Speaker 1: after the hour, Michael Jackson fans are upset with Oprah
- 37:41Speaker 1: after Oprah's interview with the Michael Jackson accusers. You're listening
- 37:46Speaker 1: to Okay, So last night, guys, Oprah Winfrey did a
- 37:51Speaker 1: special interview with the Michael Jackson accusers. Oprah asked both
- 37:55Speaker 1: Wade Robinson and James safe Chuck, why do they keep
- 37:58Speaker 1: associating with Michael if he had in fact abused them.
- 38:02Speaker 1: Take a listen. Can you explain to people why you
- 38:05Speaker 1: want to continue the association if you have been abused.
- 38:13Speaker 1: I had no understanding of it being abuse. You know,
- 38:16Speaker 1: I loved Michael, and all the times that I testified,
- 38:21Speaker 1: and you know the many many times that I gushed
- 38:24Speaker 1: over him publicly in interviews or whatever it may be,
- 38:29Speaker 1: that was from a real place, while never forgetting any
- 38:33Speaker 1: of the sexual details that happened between us, but having
- 38:37Speaker 1: no understanding that it was abuse, having no concept in
- 38:42Speaker 1: my mind that anything about Michael could ever be bad.
- 38:46Speaker 1: Anything that Michael did was right to me for so
- 38:51Speaker 1: many years. Also yeah wow. Also, Oprah went on to
- 38:56Speaker 1: say that Believing Neverland documentary transit Michael and speaks to
- 39:01Speaker 1: a larger societal issue regarding social sexual abuse. Take a
- 39:06Speaker 1: listen to this. Here's the reason why I'm here. In
- 39:10Speaker 1: twenty five years of the Oprah Show, I taped two
- 39:13Speaker 1: hundred and seventeen episodes on sexual abuse. I tried and
- 39:18Speaker 1: tried and tried to get the message across to people
- 39:21Speaker 1: that sexual abuse was not just abuse, it was also
- 39:24Speaker 1: sexual seduction. But for me, this moment transcends Michael Jackson.
- 39:29Speaker 1: It is much bigger than any one person. This is
- 39:34Speaker 1: a moment in time that allows us to see this
- 39:39Speaker 1: societal corruption. It's like a scored on humanity, and it's
- 39:44Speaker 1: happening right now. It's happening in families. We know it's
- 39:47Speaker 1: happening in churches and in schools and sports teams everywhere.
- 39:53Speaker 1: So if it gets you our audience to see how
- 39:58Speaker 1: it happens, then some good would have come of it.
- 40:03Speaker 1: That's the Oprah interview with Michael accusers, Wade Robeson and
- 40:08Speaker 1: James Safe Chuck. Michael Jackson's estate has condemned the documentary
- 40:13Speaker 1: the media, and they are suing HBO for one hundred
- 40:17Speaker 1: million dollars. So there you go, Yeah, shome out. Yeah,
- 40:25Speaker 1: I am yeah. Yeah, it's a heart Yeah. I mean,
- 40:31Speaker 1: like I said, I might watch it at some point,
- 40:34Speaker 1: but right now, I just I can't watch it. Yeah,
- 40:37Speaker 1: I'm sure I will. I'm absolutely sure I will. I'm
- 40:42Speaker 1: just I'm not ready right now. I mean, and you
- 40:45Speaker 1: definitely can't defend Oprah or you can. You can make
- 40:48Speaker 1: up your decision if you want to. But I kind
- 40:50Speaker 1: of get what she's saying how it rings light on
- 40:53Speaker 1: the situations aside from these two guys not being believed. Yeah,
- 40:59Speaker 1: and in that audience of the documentary, they were the
- 41:03Speaker 1: majority of the people there were sexual abuse big victims
- 41:07Speaker 1: that were there as well, So it was a conversation
- 41:10Speaker 1: for them too, you know. And when people do report it,
- 41:13Speaker 1: they're they're like often not believe that the abuser did
- 41:17Speaker 1: what you know, they said they did. And it's usually
- 41:21Speaker 1: someone who's very familiar with you, close to you, close
- 41:25Speaker 1: to your family. You know. It's man, Well, look, if
- 41:36Speaker 1: a person is being abused, they have to feel like
- 41:41Speaker 1: or they have to be aware that there are steps
- 41:44Speaker 1: or channels that they can take to get help. As
- 41:48Speaker 1: has to be a horrible existence to live your life
- 41:51Speaker 1: as a child abused. That has to be a horrible
- 41:56Speaker 1: existence because as a child, how do you process it? Yeah,
- 42:00Speaker 1: you know, I mean it's got to be a horrible existence.
- 42:03Speaker 1: So in that regard, I speak up for victims, you know,
- 42:08Speaker 1: and they truly believe they love these people, right, I'm
- 42:11Speaker 1: saying for victims. They have rights and they need to
- 42:14Speaker 1: know that there's avenues that they can take, and I'll
- 42:17Speaker 1: stand up for victims. That's it. This documentary, this long
- 42:22Speaker 1: time coming for this one and so you know, if
- 42:26Speaker 1: he was here to defend himself make more sense. Yeah,

- 44:13Speaker 1: You know. If I get one more good look, a
- 44:14Speaker 1: good look at her, I think I'll be fine. One
- 44:19Speaker 1: don't y'all do this like once? Uh once or twice

- 46:45Speaker 1: make me do something crazy to you. I don't believe

- 51:34Speaker 1: Because okay, it might be only one that hurt blues
- 51:37Speaker 1: and jazz. I heard what you need in the blues
- 51:41Speaker 1: jazz jokes, and yeah, you don't do blues or jazz.

- 53:06Speaker 1: I cut the little man. I threw the man away.
- 53:09Speaker 1: But she had a heart attack. She had what are
- 53:15Speaker 1: you supposed to do with it? I don't know. You
- 53:17Speaker 1: ain't supposed to throw Hey, let me tell you something,
- 53:21Speaker 1: because she cut through the whole thing. She said, I

- 53:33Speaker 1: did what threw the man out? We broke up right
- 53:41Speaker 1: after that. Wow. Yeah, if you don't if you're not
- 53:45Speaker 1: from New Orleans, oh, you don't know she had a
- 53:48Speaker 1: heart attack. Wow? All right, let's go on, all right,
- 53:54Speaker 1: bugle cold on take We got it for a year.
- 53:56Speaker 1: Dare you tripping for the little man? We're doing the
- 53:59Speaker 1: King state King style right here. Strawberry legs kid. Yeah,
- 54:02Speaker 1: baby's knecake. It's k you buying the kne cake too? Today,
- 54:07Speaker 1: Steve carl you need to get him one today, Carlin,
- 54:16Speaker 1: is it all right? Subject he's scared to sleep with me?
- 54:19Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley, I am a married woman in my
- 54:23Speaker 1: mid thirties and I want to have children, but my
- 54:26Speaker 1: husband does not. From the time we got married till now,
- 54:30Speaker 1: he says he does not want kids because he just
- 54:33Speaker 1: wants it to be just the two of us, no
- 54:36Speaker 1: one else. He said that it's a financial responsibility we
- 54:40Speaker 1: don't need. But I think there's more two it than that.
- 54:43Speaker 1: I think he's just not fond of children at all.
- 54:46Speaker 1: We've been married for fifteen years, and when we were younger,
- 54:50Speaker 1: we enjoyed our care for years of being childless, but
- 54:53Speaker 1: we're getting older and it is time to move to
- 54:56Speaker 1: the next phase of our lives by starting a family.
- 54:59Speaker 1: I will admit our marriage has been rocky the past
- 55:01Speaker 1: five years, mainly because of this topic and him withholding
- 55:06Speaker 1: sex from me. I took him to my last checkup
- 55:09Speaker 1: with my gynecologist so he could be part of the
- 55:12Speaker 1: conversation of me getting pregnant at my age. We've also
- 55:16Speaker 1: been to a marriage and family therapist, but he still
- 55:19Speaker 1: does not want me to get pregnant now. The fact
- 55:22Speaker 1: that he is withholding sex from me is a whole
- 55:25Speaker 1: other issue. He told me that I might try to
- 55:28Speaker 1: trap him into having a baby, and most nights he
- 55:31Speaker 1: will not come to bed until I'm already asleep. This
- 55:34Speaker 1: is a major problem for me because I am in
- 55:37Speaker 1: my sexual prime and I'm used to having sex often,
- 55:40Speaker 1: at least a few times a week. I don't want
- 55:44Speaker 1: to divorce him because we have acquired a lot together
- 55:48Speaker 1: and I would like to think we could work through this.
- 55:50Speaker 1: I do want a child of my own, and I
- 55:53Speaker 1: need my husband to have sex with me regularly. Am
- 55:56Speaker 1: I asking for too much? Please help? Yes? Yes, you
- 56:02Speaker 1: are asking for too much because guess what, your husband's
- 56:06Speaker 1: not interested. You have known this from the time you
- 56:09Speaker 1: got married, and you married him anyway, you knew this
- 56:13Speaker 1: fifteen years ago. Okay. I'm sure you, like so many
- 56:17Speaker 1: other women, thought you know he would change his mind eventually,
- 56:21Speaker 1: or that you could change it for him. But this
- 56:24Speaker 1: is really a mess. And you guys have gone to
- 56:27Speaker 1: family therapy about this and that hasn't helped. So I
- 56:31Speaker 1: need you to understand that your husband does not want
- 56:35Speaker 1: to have children. I need you to understand that your
- 56:38Speaker 1: husband's not fond of children. You don't think he's fond
- 56:42Speaker 1: of children. You said it in your letter. Okay, So
- 56:45Speaker 1: you need to open your eyes get woke about the
- 56:48Speaker 1: situation because it's he's not changing. You're the only one
- 56:52Speaker 1: that has changed in this situation, not your husband. And
- 56:56Speaker 1: you said it since the beginning, Okay, since the time
- 57:00Speaker 1: you've guys first got married. Yes, this is a major
- 57:02Speaker 1: problem for you because you guys do not want the
- 57:05Speaker 1: same things. You want children and you want sex. Your
- 57:09Speaker 1: husband does not want children with you, and he doesn't
- 57:13Speaker 1: want to have sex with you right now because if
- 57:16Speaker 1: he has sex and you'll have children. Okay, So you
- 57:19Speaker 1: got to put that stuff together and get out of
- 57:21Speaker 1: this fantasy land that you're in. He doesn't want to
- 57:25Speaker 1: have kids and you do. This is a major problem.
- 57:29Speaker 1: This is I dare to say, a deal breaker for
- 57:31Speaker 1: this marriage right here, Steve, Wow, Wow, this is crazy. Yeah,
- 57:38Speaker 1: this really is crazy. He's scared to sleep with me. Okay,
- 57:43Speaker 1: the tylers let us says it what you need to know.
- 57:47Speaker 1: But you, like Shirley said, you ain't listening. You need
- 57:51Speaker 1: to wake up, y'all. Married, you want to have children.
- 57:56Speaker 1: Your husband don't. From time we got married to now,
- 58:00Speaker 1: from the time you got married, that means even before
- 58:03Speaker 1: you got married till now, he said he don't want
- 58:06Speaker 1: kids because he just wants it to be the two
- 58:08Speaker 1: of us. No one else. He said, it's a financial
- 58:12Speaker 1: responsibility we don't need. And then you said, but I
- 58:16Speaker 1: think I think that's more to it than that. Okay,
- 58:21Speaker 1: so guess what she says it is. I think he's
- 58:24Speaker 1: just not fond of children at all. That's what you think.
- 58:29Speaker 1: He said he don't want none. Now guess what the
- 58:32Speaker 1: conclusion you came to is more than that financial I
- 58:36Speaker 1: don't think he's fond of children all. You think he
- 58:39Speaker 1: ought to have something there, right? Are you crazy? We've
- 58:44Speaker 1: been married fifteen years. When we was younger, we enjoyed
- 58:46Speaker 1: our care for years of being childless. But we're getting
- 58:50Speaker 1: older and it's time to move to the next phase
- 58:52Speaker 1: of our lives by starting the family that you came
- 58:56Speaker 1: to this conclusion? This you this is yo, yo. You
- 59:02Speaker 1: think it's time to move the next level? He did?
- 59:04Speaker 1: He don't you saying from time you got married to
- 59:07Speaker 1: now he don't want kids. He don't see the reason
- 59:10Speaker 1: moving to a new level. I will admit our marriage
- 59:13Speaker 1: has been rocking for the past five years, may because
- 59:16Speaker 1: of this topic and him with holding sex from me.
- 59:19Speaker 1: He don't want kids so bad, he's gonna make sure. Okay,
- 59:21Speaker 1: we don't have a sex, right, I tell you what
- 59:26Speaker 1: we ain't having now, kid, we ain't having sex. I
- 59:33Speaker 1: took him to my last checker with my guy in
- 59:35Speaker 1: the colleges so he could be part of the conversation
- 59:38Speaker 1: of me getting pregnant at my age, Me, my age,
- 59:44Speaker 1: my guy in the college. He ain't asked to go
- 59:46Speaker 1: down there. Hang on, Steve, hang on, hang on. We'll
- 59:53Speaker 1: be back with part two of Steve's response coming up
- 59:55Speaker 1: at twenty three after the hour. Subject He's scared to
- 59:58Speaker 1: sleep with me? You're listening, Yeah, Hello, I'm just I
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: would reading some more this letter, trying to find another
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: angle this ignorant mess. He's scared to sleep with me.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: The man told you from the time you met into
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: now according to your letter, that you that he don't
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: want a baby. He just said it at all. He
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: said that they don't think y'all ought to have a
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: buddy baby because of the financial responsibility. The lady said,
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: I think is more than that. I think he's just
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: not fond of children at all. Ted, what what? That
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: ain't the magic trick. He didn't pull off the curtain
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: and here come a dove flying out of a thimble.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: He told you he didn't want kids then, nor now
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: you've been together fifty man, and y'all you should enjoy
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: your care free lives of being childish. But you're getting
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: older and it's time to move to the next phase
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: of our lives by starting the f so you say.
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: He said in the beginning he didn't want kids. He
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: still don't want kids. Now you're ready to go to
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: the next phase. But you can't do this by yourself.
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: I will admit that our marriage been rocking for the
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: past five years mainly because of this topic in him
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: with holding sect. He don't want a kid so bad
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: he don't even want to do nothing to make no kids.
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: I took him to my last check up with my
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: Guyana colleges so he could be part of the conversation
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: of me getting pregnant at my age. You're pushing, You're pushing,
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: you pushing. It ain't changed nothing, not bad. When you
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: got through talking to the Ghana College, he's just sitting there.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: He went just to keep you happy. We've also been
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: the marriage and family therapist, but he still don't want
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: me to get pregnant. You'dn't been to the Ghana College,
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: you'd have't been to the therapist. And the marriaging family therapist,
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: and he withholding sex, and he'd been telling you that
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: for over fifteen years now. The fact that he's withholding
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: sex for me is a whole other issue. He told
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: me I might try to trap him into having a baby. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: I believe that. Yeah. So most nights he waits wow
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: and will not come to bed until I'm asleep. This
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: is a major problem for me because I am in
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: my sexual prime and I'm used to having sex often.
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: If he been not going to bed, when when is
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: you often having it? He no, And you're gonna mess
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: her how to make him not want you, But I
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: think he's already started. When a man don't want to
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: come to bed to spend time with you, it's because
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: he don't want you no more. If a woman stopped
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: coming to bed with you, it's because she don't want
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: you no more. He You've pushed this man to the
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: point so far with this child, he don't want you
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: no more now you and your sexual prime, Well, he
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: probably is too, So let me just say that he
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: might You might try to trap him into having a baby,
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: and he won't come to bed until I'm already sleep,
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: And then I'm used to having sex often, at least
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: a few times a week. I don't want to divorce
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: him because we have acquired a lot together, everything but
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: a baby, everything but a baby, house, laying called property credit.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: I don't want to divorce him, and I would like
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: to think we can work through this. He not working
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: through this. He don't want a baby, he has always
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: said this. I do want a child on my own.
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: I do want a child of my own, and I
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: need my husband to have sex with me regularly. And
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: I asking too much, way too much. You're asking the
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: man to make a baby that he said he never wanted.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: And now you're asking the man to have sex with you,
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: and he already know you ain't taking nothing. So now
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: he thinks you're gonna trap him into having a baby,
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: so he just stopped having sex with you. Don't you
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: don't You don't see this? Shelley was so spot on one.
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: He answered, you don't see what's happening here? What do
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: we come to the ball About to be o'clock? She
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: know here in there late here up early too, ye
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: gotta get up military time time, yep, dud read it.
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: Gotta go, baby man, No, don't talk to you. But honey, no, no, honey,
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: hell wait but wait no, I gotta I gotta go. Wow,
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: he's getting up so early. He stopping something, he's getting
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: off work, he's stopping so he's stopping someone away from here.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: His lunch breaks different from yours. Stuff. I mean normally though,
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: in a marriage, Steve, people start families. I mean, it's
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: not it's nothing wrong with what she wants. It's just
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: the fact that he doesn't want it. They don't want
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: the same things. That's the It's perfectly and I can
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: understand a woman wanted to chat. Absolutely, you ain't got
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: no problem with what you want. You just you just
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: ain't gonna happen with him. Nope, it's just not gonna
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: happen with him. And if it does, it could be ugly. Yeah,
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: it could be ugly. He could turn out to be
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: one of the worst fathers because like, like, it's like
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: you said, not only does he not want children, he
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: doesn't like children. He don't even like kids. So why
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: would you want to shut up all that day crying? Hell,
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: you crying for now? Why would you want to have
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: children with someone who doesn't want kids? Why many times
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: we're gonna have to change this. Damn die exactly. Yeah, Clay,
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: you're hungry again. We're in here talking. No, he he
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: may not need to be a fun nor. Right. I
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: met women that don't want kids. You gotta respect that.
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: And just men that don't want kids. Can I tell
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: you somebody ain't playing on nothing. My kids, not now one,
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: every last one of them was a surprise. We're gonna have,
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: but but always want it. I wanted kids, man. I
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: just thought that was be the coolest thing. That's a
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: natural progression when it is a time grow up. And yeah,
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: but not for everyone, right, Yeah, and certainly not for him,
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: because he's told her, all right, all right, we gotta
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: get out of here. Email us or instagram us. Her
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: thoughts on today's Strawberry Letter at Steve Harvey FM. Now

- 1:07:10Speaker 1: Tyres starring as Teddy pendergrassday Yeah, and we're gonna play
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: some comedy Roulette too. Right after this you're listening to
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: the stew ty reis is going to start as the
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: late icon Teddy Pendergrass. This is gonna be in a
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: new biopic. Warner Brothers has acquired the Life Rights to
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: the late singer, and Tyree Gibson, along with Empire co
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: creator and co executive producer Lee Daniels and Donald de Lineum,
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: will produce the movie. This is going to be through
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: Deal de line Pictures. As we know, Teddy Pendergrass hit
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: the scene back in the seventies as the lead singer
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: of Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes. Brought us numerous
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: hits like close the Door, turn off the Lights, Yes, Yeah,
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: loved Ko anyway, Yes Yes. In the early eighties, Teddy
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: suffered his final cord injury in a traffic accident that
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: left him a quadriplegic. He later returned to perform again
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: in nineteen eighty five and continued his solo career until
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: he passed away of cancer back in twenty ten. Teddy
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: Pendergrass embraced me and before he passed, put the responsibility
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: on my shoulders to tell his story. This is what
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: Tyrese shared in a statement, This is a role that
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: I feel I was born to play. Just hope we

- 1:10:41Speaker 1: Gary Coleman story. What you talk about the story of

- 1:10:56Speaker 1: tall Jake? Who he gonna be wanted to shoe? He
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: could He could play Terrios half brother on Game of

- 1:11:13Speaker 1: but yeah, you laugh, you laughed. Let me see who

- 1:12:51Speaker 1: we're gonna do? Tommy was the best. Tommy was good.
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: I would like to say that the most accomplished actor
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: on this radio show is he can would a compliment
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: that it sounds like it's Thomas Mile without a doubt,
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: and were just trying to come up with rolls that
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: we know he could get in and kill. You know, look,
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: Tyree's got to Teddy Pendegrass. That was just me stuff
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: that he could do. Man, just get right on me,
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: and you know, thank you. Tommy could do Teddy penecrass.
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: He really could turn off the lights, all right. He'd
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: be a little hand to reach up and here to switch.
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: All right, we'll be back with more of the Steve
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show coming up right after this. You're listening
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All Right, we're gonna get a
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: little serious here, guys. You guys remember about a year
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: ago nearly a year after Sacramento police fatally shot Stefan Clark. Remember,
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: Stefan Clark was a twenty two year old, unarmed black
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: man who died in his grandmother's backyard, District Attorney and
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: Marie Schubert announced that the two officers who killed Stefan
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: Clark will not face criminal charges. In a news conference
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: that lasted more than an hour, the DA walked the
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: public through evidence gathered by investigators and discussed the law
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: that governs when police officers are justified in using deadly force.
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: The law requires that we judge the reasonableness of an
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: officer's actions based upon the circumstances confronting them at that
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: moment of time, said Schubert. DA said the two officers, honestly,
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: without hesitation, believed he had a gun before they fired.
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: Get this, twenty shots at Clark, hitting him at least
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: seven times. Okay, but can I ask you a question. Yeah,
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: in the firing of the shots and there was no
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: return fire, Exactly at what point does in your training
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: does it say, wow, there may not be a gun here. Well,
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: it seems, but see this, this is what's a phone?
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: He had a self, That's all it is to it.
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: They don't shoot to disarm disable, they shoot to kill.
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: Black men are the same as the black targets at
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: the target range of all gun ranges. That's the targets
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: are black for a reason. So when they get out
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: there and they see that black man were just another
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: target and we keep getting killed over and over and over,
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: and they keep getting away with it, and they justify it.
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: They just keep justifying it. Man. Yeah, a dude is
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: in his grandmother's backyard. How much more innocent can you
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: be in the backyard with a phone? Yeah. Stefan Clark's mother,
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: Miss Selina Manny, said a shameful legacy of officers killing
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: black men without consequences, and her family's heart is broken again.
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: In response to no charges brought against the officers in
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: the shooting death of Stefan, his family has called for
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: legislative reform in an effort to help the community heal.
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: You know, look at minimum manslaughter, right, yeah, at minimum
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: the man slaughter. You got to do some kind of
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: time for taking the life of an innocent person. So
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: what happens when you find out, as they did, that
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: he was in his grandmother's backyard and he didn't have
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: a good damn what you thought? See the hand with
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: what you thought? I he go. Why they always think
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: black dudes got guns? They don't ever think white kids
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: got guns. They be in the backyard all the time.
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: And the dog they go to, they go, They go
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: to to two settings all the time for disturbing the piece.
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: Loud parties are disrupting the party. Yeah, y'all see him
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: on camera all time, fighting the police, jerking away from him,
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: calling them names. Don't obey the law, get out to come,
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: not getting out of anything. You're hit all the time.
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: They don't never get shot and they shouldn't get shot.
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: But man, a black person like that brother, I forgot
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: his name up in Minnesota somewhere that where the lady
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: put it on FaceTime. He told the police officer he
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: had a gun. Yeah, they said, watch your shooter. He said,
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: I don't know, I don't know. Yeah, this is you
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: know what, man. But but you know, the troubling part
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: is they never see what we see. And when he
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: gets to the grand jury, which is some more of them,
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: they don't see what we see. They never get there. Man.
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: Well they saw it in the Ruddy Kings situation many
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: years ago. And it still didn't matter. I mean a tape. Yeah,
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: there was tape, there was evidence, but somehow they still
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: got off. Those officers still got off. It don't look
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: like that to them. It looks totally different. And then
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: you have problems on the side of the cities that
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: won't press charges against police officers, right because the justice
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: system is on the side of the plan. Yeah, this
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: will not happen if you shoot white kids, this won't happen.
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: Do you know the uproar if you start doing this
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: to white dudes, if you shot them at the rate
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: that shoot you that you shoot black dudes. If the
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: same number of white guys, feil Man, do you know
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: what would happen? What was the guy Walter Scott? Wasn't
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: he running away on the ground helping somebody they shot in? Yeah?
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: Dog Trayvon Martin another where he was when I had
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: a gun on my show? But George, but that was
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: that was a blatant disregard for black lights. Yeah, that
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: was one of the most blatant. This man ain't even
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: a cop and he got the right to shoot somebody
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: walking from the store. Florida's law. Nah man, this this
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: ain't right, man, No it's not. This ain't right by
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: no stretch of imagination. This this, this ain't right man,
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: And this this DA seemed to in the Stefan Clark case,
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: seemed to try to justify, um, you know what these
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: officers did. I mean, I guess all she could do
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: was state what the law says. But you know, I'll
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: say it again, I'll read it again. The law requires
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: that we judge the reasonableness of an officer's actions based
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: upon the circumstances confronting them at that moment of time. Okay,
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: so what was the reasonable circumstances? Well, she said, that
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: was a black man in the backyard that happened to
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: be his grandmama's. They didn't ask him who he was. No,
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: hey man, they couldn't have said hawk, get on the ground,
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: right right, But she said, honestly, without hesitation, they believed
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: he had a gun before they fired twenty shot. Wait
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: wait a minute, without hesitation, believe they believed he hadn't gun. Yeah,
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: but by her twenty shot. But see listened to these words,
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: without hesitation, they believed he had a gun. So now
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: we can kill him without hesitation. Yea, we believe he
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: had a gun. But guess what. He didn't have a gun.
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: And I understand they have split They have to think
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: things and splits. I got all that. What are your
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: lights at right? Split up one of y'all. Go over there.
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: We got you front and back. Get down on your knees.
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: Don't move, Get down on your knees, hands over your head.
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: Where was that? All right? Steve? Yeah, we gotta go.
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: Coming up. We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: Show right after this. You're listening. Kylie's best friend, Jordan
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: Woods denied making out with Tristan Thompson in her first
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: interview since her cheating scandal broke. Jordan's sat down with
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: Jada Pinkett Smith on Red Table Talk on Friday to
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: tell her side of the story. People are still talking
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: about this. Jordan said the alleged kiss came as she
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: was leaving Tristan's house party. She admits that Tristan planted
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: his lips on hers, meaning Tristan kissed her, but insisted
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: there was no passion involved. Jordan has been accused of
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: making out with Chloe's boyfriend over Valentine's Day weekend, which
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: created a huge rift between Jordan, who was just twenty
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: one years old and Kardashian The Kardashians. Shortly after the
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: interview hit Facebook. Chloe blamed Jordan for splitting up her family,
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: and Chloe blamed her for her split with Tristan. Chloe
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: treated by the way, you are the reason my family
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: broke up. This is what Chloe pleaded. How old was
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: this girl? Oh, Jordan twenty one? One? How old is Tristan?
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: He is twenty seven. Since he's in the league, he's
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: probably had a lot more experience at life because they travel,
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: they get around a little bit. I think we all
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: know that he's twenty seven. He has a family, a child,
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: got two right, Yes, he got two children. He's in
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: a relationship with a loving woman, Chloe. Right, and she's
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: thirty four. Okay, cool, the twenty one year old girl.
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: Why is everybody beating her up? Exactly because at the
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: end of the day, if you're a man and you
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: know you have a family, and you know you have responsibility,
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: you you got to own up, partner. Yeah, I mean, look, man,
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: you could this your deal. You got to take care
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: of your girl and your kids. That's your job as
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: a man. Right. And she's legally grown at twenty one,
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: But we all know how. We all make mistakes. Look, man,
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: I'm sixty two, still making them now. I don't make
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: them as dumb and as frequent as I used to.
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: But the ones I make now they get blown up
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: pretty big though. But think back when you were twenty one, though,
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: come on, I can't, I can't, I can't stick. I
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: can't do nothing ideal When I was, I mean, I
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: was kissing whoever was next to him, whoever. You've been
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: standing here too long? Come in here. Yeah you must
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: won't be because I damn chill your mama's living room.
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: I didn't care. Yeah, I mean, so she's twenty one,
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: you know, and they came down so hard on her
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: to a twenty one year old girl, is breaking up
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: your family? Man, listen to me. But who we had
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: a change of heart, right, she did. She did because
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: you know, a lot of people dragged her for saying that,
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: especially on black Twitter. She got dragged for for coming,
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: you know, up against Jordan so hard like that. Yeah,
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: but you know what, we so quick to destroy a person. Yeah,
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: we're so quick, man. It's it's just an ugly world week. Yeah,
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: but I'm not with it doing it to someone as
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: young as twenty one, come on, no, all right. So,
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: shortly after the interview hit Facebook, Chloe blamed Jordan for
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: her split with Tristan. She tweeted, by the way, you
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: are the reason my family broke up. But then later
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: on Saturday, Chloe did have a change of heart and
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: she wrote, Jordan is not to be blamed for the
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: breakup of my family. This was Tristan's fault. So she
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: had a change of heart and didn't blame Jordan after that. So, yeah,
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: that is really hope they get back. I do too,
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: and I think they will. I think they will. All right,
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: up right after this. You're listening to the Steven Show
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: coming up in twenty minutes. Guys, we're gonna talk about
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: leaving never Neverland, the two part docuse series about Michael Jackson.
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: But first the Sad news Um. Actor Luke Perry one
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: of the most beloved Hollywood actors. He was the star
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: of Beverly Hills nine O two, one oh and uh Riverdale,
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: the most recent series he was on. He passed away
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: at the age of fifty two. Yes, Riversdale Archie, Yes,
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: he had a massive stroke last Wednesday, and uh yeah,
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: he never recovered from the stroke, and our thoughts and
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: prayers are definitely with his family. I mean, he played
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: Dylan on nine two one. Everybody loved Dylan. He was good. Yeah,
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: he was This a whole new generation that watches Riverdale.
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: They love that day, Robin GiB Yeah, yeah, everybody watches
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: and and the day he had the massive stroke. Uh there,
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: they just announced that they were going to do a
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: reboot of Beverly Hills nine o two one zero, and
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: he was reluctant. He hadn't signed on yet because he
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: had the commitment to Riverdale, so he or Shannon Doherty
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: hadn't but everyone else had signed on. But just so sad,
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: I mean, so very very bad at fifty two, Yes,
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: suffered a massive stroke and just never recovers, you know. Yeah,
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: very very sad, very sad. Um. In other news, after
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: two months of being out, Wendy Williams is back. Yeah,
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: she's back. On her daytime talk show, Wendy was emotional.
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: She addressed her medical issues, and she also addressed the
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: ongoing rumors about her husband. She said she's still wearing
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: her ring and her marriage is fine, and she loves
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: her husband very much. And then she went on to
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: discuss hot topic. She talked about Jesse Smollett and Michael Jackson.
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: You know, everybody listening to the story twist mouth. Yeah,
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: you know, she she got everybody inside. I yeah, she
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: said that she didn't believe a word of the documentary.
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: I did hear that she said that? He said, yeah
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: about the Michael Jackson documentary. Wow, Yeah, a lot of people.
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: A lot of people believe it. A lot of people
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: don't believe, especially as fans. They don't and because they
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: think that those two guys are out for money. What
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: are the same two guys that said it didn't not happen?
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: Yeah initially? Yeah, yeah. Yeah. I'm a friend of Mike's,
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: always have been, you know, I just know him a
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: certain way. I don't. I don't know anything about this.
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: So I haven't watched the documentary. You should. I mean,
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: I don't have no interest in it. I got I
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: got enough going on as it is. You know what
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: you say about him now in his passing, Yeah, he's gone.
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: There's nothing to do with me. You know what you
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: if you were trying to bring up some charges something
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: that be your anemy story. I don't. I don't. I
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: don't have any interest in that. I have no comment
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: on it because I won't watch it. I don't, Man,
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: I'm still watching This is It? No? This is it? Right,
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: Michael Jackson documentary. Yeah, that was really good. Do you
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: think this is no? No? No, no no? What what
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: do you think I was talking about? This is us
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: TV show? What is this is Us? Oh? My god,
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: it's only like the number one TV show. That's why.
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: That's why it's bigger than this is It? Who is God? Okay?
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: Who is it? Answer me? I told you you wouldn't know. Michael.
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: All right, when we come back, it'll be our last
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: break of the day and Steve will get into some
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: closing remarks. I have some questions I want to ask you, Steve. Okay,
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: all right, we'll do that right after this. You're listening,
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: all right? Here we are, last break of the day
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: on this Tuesday. Um boy, A good day, A good day.
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: I think we learned a few things today. Yeah you
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: know what, Steve, we were talking about, Um, you know,
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: when we were young, making mistakes and things like that.
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: So as we get into this closing remarks today, I
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: just want to ask you, you know, maybe there's something
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: you can impart to a young person out there who's
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: twenty one, who's you know, we were all twenty one before,
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: we've made mistakes. Let them know that they can come
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: out of it, they can do better. Well, you know,
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: here's here's a deal. Uh. It is amazing how we
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: how we are sometimes, you know, towards one another, and
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: how we are with our own actions. It's almost like
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: we we act like we've never made a mistake ourselves.
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: We act like, you know, what somebody else has done
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: is more more unforgivable and more unthinkable than they can
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: ever imagine of themselves when an actuality. The truth of
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: the matter is, we've all done things. And thank god
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: that there was no social media when I was twenty one.
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: Thank god there was no Instagram, Snapchat, no phone cameras.
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: He it were no phones when I was twenty one. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: there's no record of the reckless, idiotic decisions we made
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: back then. But what happens to these young people today
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: is that they have no way of learning and fixing
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: themselves on their own. They have no time to heal.
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: The destruction of one another is so rampant in our
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: society today that it's frightening. Man. It's it's almost like, man,
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: I really really hate to see bad news come out
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: about young people because they are so attached to social
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: media that they is such a part of their world
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: and so many, so many of these people count on it.
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: There's some grown folks count on it. Two though, and
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: it's just a tear down in social media that begins
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: the destruction of a person. Man. Does anybody give anybody
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: uplift on social media? Does anybody try to say, you
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: know what, I understand? I understand, I've been there, little
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: girl hanging there. Everybody makes mistakes, but it's such a
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: rush to judgment, and then even as you rush to judgment,
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: that's just a rush to destruction. And I'm really really
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: concerned about young people today because look, I'm sixty two.
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: I still make mistakes. Many mistake this year. The many
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: mistake this year, a mistake. I've been ate up. I
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: get beat up all the time. Man, But I'm gonna
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: just keep I'm gonna just keep striving. I'm gonna just
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: keep going along. You know. I'm just I'm just strong
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: enough to understand that, Hey, man, I don't made them
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: before And like I said the other day, one of
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: the cool things is when I look back on all
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: of my rough days, When I look back on all
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: the days I thought I wasn't going to duel, my
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: track record for surviving bad days so far is one.
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: And that's pretty cool. Anything else, sure, well, you know,
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: I mean, thank you for that, thank you for that.
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: I just want to And how important is it, Steve
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: like to have a support system. I love the fact
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: that Jordan was able to go someplace where she felt
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: safe and that was with Jada, and Will was there
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: for her. You know what, That's important man, that somebody
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: reaches the hand down to pick you up, to give
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: you words of encouragement. And you can be that to
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: a person that you see this getting beat up. See
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: the thing about hate, and I've often said it, hate
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: is louder than love, but love is stronger. Yeah. See,
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: So you can loudly try to bring somebody down and
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: somebody can come and softly and calmly pick them up
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: and hold and give them time to heal and be okay.
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: But you know, there's a loving side to most people,
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: that is a compassionate side to most people. And if
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: you don't get out there and get in the fray
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: and the hate game. Now, let's assists some people that's
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: just hateful. You know, the devil is busy today. Man,
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: The devil has imps that work for him twenty four
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: seven and they on Twitter, and they own Instagram and
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: they own whatever. And the devil just pressed the button
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: and here they go to work, and they call themselves haters,
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: and that my job is to hate. No, it's not, No,
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: it's really not. Our job really is to love and
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: uplift one another. Because guess what, you're gonna need loving
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: and you're gonna need uplifted. I don't care who you are.
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: You can be the world's greatest hater. At one point
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: in time, you're gonna need some loving and some uplift.
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: And when it's time to get yours, you know, that's
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: when the Lord's prayer comes into effect. Give us this
- 1:35:08Speaker 1: day our daily bread. Forgive us our trust passes, as
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: we forgive those who trust pass against us. All forgive
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: us our debts as we forgive our debts, which simply means,
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: when it's time for you to get your compassion and
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: your love, yours is gonna be passed out to you.
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: The way you gave it out to everybody else. Wow.
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: And you have to remember that man. And where as
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: people man, you have to tap into your loving side.
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: If you see somebody getting beat up, it ain't nothing
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: wrong with you to go over there and just try
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: to hug them, give them my help. That don't make
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: you nothing less than a person because you don't agree
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: with the masses. Sometimes you gotta pick a person up. Man,
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: They just need a little bit of uplifts so they
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: can get up and keep going. For all Steve Every contacts,
