- 0:00Speaker 1: Today show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time. Y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know y'all at all at all.
- 0:10Speaker 2: So.
- 0:12Speaker 1: Don't given them the bush?
- 0:23Speaker 3: Yeah listening to.
- 0:26Speaker 4: To I don't joy? Yeah, Joy?
- 0:59Speaker 5: You know you.
- 1:06Speaker 6: Love you.
- 1:24Speaker 7: Gotta turn.
- 1:41Speaker 1: To turn them out. Turn you probably got to.
- 1:44Speaker 4: Turn the mouth, turn out the water the monica.
- 1:49Speaker 7: Look.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on, you think, uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 8: Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice. Come on,
- 2:08Speaker 8: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:11Speaker 8: radio show. You know, I think I ought to explain
- 2:13Speaker 8: something to y'all. You know, when I wake up in
- 2:16Speaker 8: the morning and I say, dig me now, what I'm
- 2:20Speaker 8: asking you to do is it's old school, you know, man,
- 2:22Speaker 8: And you know you said old people say I dig
- 2:25Speaker 8: you know, da da da, never stop saying that. I'm sorry,
- 2:29Speaker 8: but dig me now. It's just I want you to
- 2:32Speaker 8: I want you to really feel me. I want you
- 2:34Speaker 8: to understand what I'm saying, because really, this morning inspiration
- 2:38Speaker 8: is all given in the spirit of sharing and love.
- 2:41Speaker 8: It ain't about to expose me in any way. That's
- 2:44Speaker 8: not the purpose of it. But I found that in
- 2:48Speaker 8: my morning inspiration that is best that I use some
- 2:51Speaker 8: things about myself, because I mean, what better example can
- 2:54Speaker 8: I use?
- 2:54Speaker 1: Because I know me, I know what's happened to me.
- 2:57Speaker 8: I know exactly how I felt all along the way
- 3:00Speaker 8: concerning almost everything, every aspect of my life. I now
- 3:04Speaker 8: fully do really understand why God had my life spend
- 3:09Speaker 8: the way it spun. And here's the part that I
- 3:12Speaker 8: want to give to you this morning, that first of all,
- 3:15Speaker 8: whatever position you find yourself in today, we kind of
- 3:19Speaker 8: come to one realization that we got ourselves there. We
- 3:23Speaker 8: put ourselves there by a series of thoughts and actions.
- 3:27Speaker 8: Thoughts turn into things. That's very important to know. So
- 3:33Speaker 8: let's look at both sides of it. For people who
- 3:36Speaker 8: think negative thoughts, it turns into negative things, and the
- 3:43Speaker 8: direct opposite is true. For those who think positive thoughts,
- 3:48Speaker 8: it turns into positive things. That's the deal. It's as
- 3:54Speaker 8: simple as that, folks. I cannot break it down any cleaner,
- 4:00Speaker 8: I cannot make it any clearer. Thoughts become things. So
- 4:06Speaker 8: the one glaring question for all of us always is
- 4:10Speaker 8: on a daily basis, what are you thinking? What are
- 4:13Speaker 8: your thoughts? What are you thinking? What are your thoughts?
- 4:19Speaker 8: Because I can assure you and it is not by
- 4:23Speaker 8: a promise of mine. This is not a theory that
- 4:27Speaker 8: Steve Harveyden came up with. This is a fact of life.
- 4:32Speaker 8: This is biblical, this is spiritual, This is written, this
- 4:37Speaker 8: is philosophical.
- 4:38Speaker 1: This is the law of the universe.
- 4:40Speaker 8: However, you need to drink this medicine to take to
- 4:44Speaker 8: get it down and feel what I'm saying to you.
- 4:47Speaker 8: This is just the way it is now. And here
- 4:49Speaker 8: the cold part, folks. It don't matter if you believe
- 4:53Speaker 8: me or not. It does not matter if you have
- 4:58Speaker 8: never been explained this or not. And it does not
- 5:02Speaker 8: matter if you think it works in your life or not.
- 5:06Speaker 8: It don't matter. Listen to me. It is the way
- 5:09Speaker 8: it is. It is a scriptural, it is a spiritual,
- 5:14Speaker 8: it is philosophical.
- 5:16Speaker 1: It's just whatever is the law of the universe. You
- 5:18Speaker 1: call whatever you want call.
- 5:19Speaker 8: However, you got to dress this thing up to put
- 5:23Speaker 8: it in the phase that you can feel me.
- 5:25Speaker 1: I want you to feel me now, because this is
- 5:27Speaker 1: all it is.
- 5:29Speaker 8: So when I say that you are where we are
- 5:31Speaker 8: today because we thought ourselves here, are you best to
- 5:35Speaker 8: believe that's true? You thought yourself here, no one else see.
- 5:40Speaker 8: Let me explain something. I got people around me who
- 5:44Speaker 8: so badly want to take credit for it, but I
- 5:48Speaker 8: don't allow it. But because I keep pointing to the heavens,
- 5:53Speaker 8: I keep pointing and trying to say it out loud
- 5:57Speaker 8: as many times as I can without being so offensive,
- 6:01Speaker 8: that my life is by design, by grace and mercy,
- 6:06Speaker 8: by blessings from God. My life is because God has
- 6:11Speaker 8: seen it to be so. Oh, but I got plenty
- 6:13Speaker 8: of people around me want credit for it and want
- 6:16Speaker 8: you to not give credit to God and give it
- 6:19Speaker 8: to them. I got that. I got that, But I
- 6:22Speaker 8: understand that. See, I understand what that is. That's a
- 6:25Speaker 8: person whose design is to get the credit.
- 6:29Speaker 1: But it's okay. It's so clear to me what my
- 6:32Speaker 1: father was saying to me. Man, I get it.
- 6:34Speaker 8: As I get older and older, he always said to me, son,
- 6:38Speaker 8: everybody come with you can't.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Go with you.
- 6:41Speaker 8: See, you know, I don't know how people say it
- 6:45Speaker 8: in church. You know sometime they go, well, people come
- 6:47Speaker 8: into your life for seasons, and I guess that's same thing.
- 6:50Speaker 8: You know they seizing up, They gone, well, you know,
- 6:53Speaker 8: and then but then hi, the way they try to
- 6:55Speaker 8: hold you though, or you're gonna forget where you come from.
- 7:00Speaker 8: You ain't gonna keep it real no more. I don't
- 7:03Speaker 8: want to go back where I come from. I don't
- 7:06Speaker 8: want to keep it that real no more. It was
- 7:08Speaker 8: real enough for me living in a car. I had
- 7:10Speaker 8: enough of that real. I don't wanna keep it real now.
- 7:13Speaker 8: I don't keep it real. I wanna go keep it dreamy.
- 7:16Speaker 8: I want to go keep it fantasized. I want, I wanna.
- 7:19Speaker 8: I want to keep it out of this world. I
- 7:21Speaker 8: want to keep it off the chain. I want to
- 7:23Speaker 8: keep it moving. I want to keep it ball, and
- 7:25Speaker 8: I want to see what that's like. So Nah, I
- 7:28Speaker 8: ain't gonna forget where I come from, but you ain't
- 7:30Speaker 8: gonna hold me to that though See, thoughts become things
- 7:36Speaker 8: all day long? Where's your vision board? Where are the
- 7:40Speaker 8: things that you want written down? What do you think
- 7:44Speaker 8: about the most? How grateful are you for what all
- 7:48Speaker 8: God has done for you? Where you at with that?
- 7:51Speaker 8: See here hear another law? If thoughts become things, Let
- 7:57Speaker 8: me ask you this. If all you thinking about is
- 8:01Speaker 8: your debt, if all you're thinking about is what you
- 8:04Speaker 8: ain't got, if all you thinking.
- 8:06Speaker 1: About or is all woe is me? If all you
- 8:10Speaker 1: thinking about is every time I turn around.
- 8:11Speaker 8: I'm sick if all you thinking about it's the things
- 8:16Speaker 8: in life that you're lacking. If that's all you thinking about,
- 8:22Speaker 8: and if thoughts become things, how much debt you think
- 8:28Speaker 8: you're gonna stay in?
- 8:29Speaker 1: How much?
- 8:30Speaker 8: How much how much lacking you think you're finna fill
- 8:33Speaker 8: your life with? How much most stuff you fin to
- 8:36Speaker 8: not have because you keep thinking about it all the time.
- 8:42Speaker 8: When you're gonna be grateful, when you're gonna say thank you,
- 8:47Speaker 8: when it's gonna come out your mouth, Man, that I
- 8:51Speaker 8: may not be where I want to be, but I
- 8:52Speaker 8: show am grateful for what you've given me so far,
- 8:56Speaker 8: for the things I have today because I don't have
- 8:59Speaker 8: to have these things.
- 9:00Speaker 1: You know what that does?
- 9:02Speaker 8: That then opens up room for more stuff to come
- 9:05Speaker 8: your way. To be grateful fall, But if you're gonna
- 9:08Speaker 8: be ungrateful, ah, man, let me ask you something. I
- 9:11Speaker 8: ain't God, I don't claim to be, But let me
- 9:13Speaker 8: ask you something, man. If you ungrateful for the things
- 9:17Speaker 8: we got, If we can't show no gratitude for what
- 9:20Speaker 8: we have, why would God give us some most stuff
- 9:24Speaker 8: to be ungrateful for?
- 9:26Speaker 1: What would he do that for? Tada? Anybody feel me?
- 9:30Speaker 1: Right now.
- 9:31Speaker 8: So when I say come on, y'all, dig me, now,
- 9:34Speaker 8: do you understand why I say dig me?
- 9:36Speaker 1: Because I want you to feel me.
- 9:37Speaker 8: I want you to understand and come to the understanding,
- 9:39Speaker 8: not saying you ain't. Because there's so many people got
- 9:41Speaker 8: a deeper understanding than me about this whole thing. I
- 9:44Speaker 8: promise you they do, but they listen to me. I'm
- 9:47Speaker 8: just trying to get you to walk up in this light, man,
- 9:49Speaker 8: so you can go on with your life and quit
- 9:51Speaker 8: tripping yourself out with your thoughts because thoughts become things,
- 9:55Speaker 8: all right.
- 9:55Speaker 9: All day you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:01Speaker 8: Ladies and gentlemen, the time has come. The Steve Harvey
- 10:05Speaker 8: Morning Show is here. Gratitude is the leading force behind
- 10:13Speaker 8: everything we do at the start of the day. And
- 10:15Speaker 8: I don't y'all, I don't want y'all to miss out
- 10:17Speaker 8: on this blessing or being grateful to start your day.
- 10:21Speaker 8: You might as well talk to him, but start by thinking.
- 10:24Speaker 8: Then you can go down your list to what you want.
- 10:26Speaker 8: But started like that. This is Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:28Speaker 8: Shirley Strawberry calling for real Mississippi Monica or that legend
- 10:34Speaker 8: nephew Tommy and Junior. Junior, kill space, what's on your mind?

- 10:40Speaker 5: Uh?
- 10:41Speaker 10: I was really wanting to notice on because I got
- 10:43Speaker 10: to fill out some paperwork and I won't to know
- 10:45Speaker 10: if I can put your name on it, you know,
- 10:48Speaker 10: like if I wait a minute, you don't even.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Know what it's for yet.
- 10:52Speaker 8: I don't need am I gonna put them more damn papers?
- 10:58Speaker 8: This is this starting to sound like would you rather?
- 11:01Speaker 6: Hey?
- 11:03Speaker 10: No, you can't, Okay, So I gotta have like somebody
- 11:08Speaker 10: to sit in there in the hospital with me, and
- 11:11Speaker 10: they want to know you so you can get authorized
- 11:13Speaker 10: come in, and I wonder if I put your name
- 11:15Speaker 10: down you.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Just come here?
- 11:16Speaker 8: Hell no, hell no? What not going to sit with
- 11:22Speaker 8: you at no crisis. I ain't even like talking to
- 11:24Speaker 8: you on the phone. I don't like your little voice,
- 11:26Speaker 8: all feeble and tremling, hurt.
- 11:33Speaker 1: I said, Junior, what's up? And then you can hear
- 11:43Speaker 1: breathing in me.
- 11:47Speaker 7: You're good?
- 11:48Speaker 5: I said?
- 11:49Speaker 1: How you holding? I'm all right? Show it sound like.
- 11:58Speaker 11: I'm good?
- 11:58Speaker 1: Man.
- 12:04Speaker 8: Damn there crying and stuff. I don't, man, don't put
- 12:08Speaker 8: my name on the damn I'm I'm gonna be of
- 12:14Speaker 8: no help.
- 12:14Speaker 1: To you. I don't. I don't want to sit there.
- 12:17Speaker 1: I ain't. I ain't good with sick ass people at all.
- 12:21Speaker 9: At least he's honest about it.
- 12:23Speaker 12: I know he really honest.
- 12:25Speaker 10: Like you wouldn't like you ain't gonna help me to
- 12:27Speaker 10: the bathroom, and none of that.
- 12:31Speaker 1: What if you met him? Put a bathroom.
- 12:35Speaker 9: That's out the dog.
- 12:37Speaker 8: You gotta pull some little sheets up around you and
- 12:40Speaker 8: to pile them up on your lap. Go have your business,
- 12:45Speaker 8: you do anything. You put a pile of them right
- 12:49Speaker 8: in your crime. Just pile him up, make a little
- 12:52Speaker 8: volcano with your sheet. They just will wet it up.
- 12:55Speaker 8: I'm not here, you do it.
- 12:59Speaker 9: I had an accident.

- 15:34Speaker 1: We got an issue.
- 15:35Speaker 13: Brother Kirby Benson, better known as KB, accidentally took four
- 15:40Speaker 13: Viagar pills thinking they was his daily vitamins. Could you
- 15:46Speaker 13: please tell Sister Greta Wagner and Sister Florinda Prescott to
- 15:50Speaker 13: quit jumping on the man every time they see him.
- 15:57Speaker 1: Or jumping on him?
- 15:58Speaker 13: Well, well, well where you think, pat No, I mean
- 16:03Speaker 13: that church church? Is it in the parking lot? What
- 16:07Speaker 13: do we they have jumped on him in the parking lot.
- 16:09Speaker 13: They are ran and jumped on him at the supermarket
- 16:12Speaker 13: every time they see Brotherby.

- 16:43Speaker 13: Ah Mervin's funeral home Carr As you know, brother O
- 16:49Speaker 13: Cyrus Daniels, we put him to rest this past Saturday,
- 16:53Speaker 13: uh pastor after the funeral, the Hurts was the Hurts
- 16:57Speaker 13: was supposed to take him to his uh his hometown
- 17:01Speaker 13: which is three hours away, but they had two flat ties.
- 17:05Speaker 13: They are asking if you can come uh on eighty
- 17:08Speaker 13: five South and pick brother Osiris up and get him
- 17:11Speaker 13: to his hometown. They've already taken him out the casket,
- 17:14Speaker 13: but they stranded.
- 17:16Speaker 8: That won't be necessary. I was informed of this because
- 17:20Speaker 8: I was one of the few people that still have
- 17:23Speaker 8: a c B.
- 17:26Speaker 7: Said.
- 17:27Speaker 1: I heard that the.
- 17:29Speaker 8: Funeral convoy had been delayed because of the flat tide,
- 17:34Speaker 8: and I'm aware that they took his body out of
- 17:38Speaker 8: the hearst. Also, now do you want the rest of
- 17:41Speaker 8: the store?
- 17:42Speaker 1: Yeah, got it, go ahead.
- 17:45Speaker 8: Well, when they took the little body out the hurst
- 17:48Speaker 8: down their body creek.
- 17:50Speaker 1: We was. I went over there and we we buried
- 17:53Speaker 1: him right there.
- 17:53Speaker 13: Body creek. It's a hometown that that's what the do
- 18:00Speaker 13: you think he know that? But the man wanted to
- 18:04Speaker 13: be at rest in his hometown. That's what it was
- 18:06Speaker 13: supposed to be. He probably three hours away from from
- 18:08Speaker 13: the Tructors, where he is originally from.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Well, what we're gonna do is we're gonna take the
- 18:14Speaker 1: empty box.
- 18:16Speaker 8: We're gonna take a box and get brother Ferguson to
- 18:20Speaker 8: put it in the back of his pickup.
- 18:22Speaker 1: He got that new Dodge round he gonna drive it.
- 18:26Speaker 8: Three hours and have the bury Ordell. But he's done
- 18:32Speaker 8: there by the rivers because he used to always hear
- 18:38Speaker 8: him say, down by the river side out there the
- 18:42Speaker 8: will that good places in.
- 18:51Speaker 13: We are a situation we think we want you to
- 18:54Speaker 13: speak on Deacon Karter just having a uh bass spot
- 19:00Speaker 13: in the back of his head fundraiser. Yeah, he's having
- 19:07Speaker 13: a fundraiser party, a ball spot in the back of
- 19:09Speaker 13: the head fundraiser party, and none of the members have
- 19:13Speaker 13: stepped in to even think about coming and helping it.
- 19:16Speaker 8: Uh, it ain't no problem. We don't need that much
- 19:18Speaker 8: of her. Think of seventy nine dollars is all we need,
- 19:23Speaker 8: because we're gonna go to salaries and buy a pair
- 19:26Speaker 8: of balls and clippers with the seventy nine and we're
- 19:29Speaker 8: gonna run that ball spot in the back of his head.
- 19:31Speaker 9: Clean up to the front.
- 19:35Speaker 8: We we're gonna in this hill. Yeah, no way, We're
- 19:40Speaker 8: gonna ball him out that way. You won't have to
- 19:42Speaker 8: remember about the boss spot you balla. Yeah, there won't
- 19:47Speaker 8: be no need for no more fundraising for him. We've
- 19:49Speaker 8: already solved that. There, go ahead, Deacon.
- 19:54Speaker 1: All right, I'm over the lounge.
- 19:57Speaker 13: We have a special guest that's coming this Sunday, brother
- 20:00Speaker 13: Kyle Jefferson, who is a blind, uh blind and this
- 20:04Speaker 13: and one arm passed, but he's gonna be playing the
- 20:06Speaker 13: harm moonic of eleven o'clock service. The members are asking
- 20:10Speaker 13: that you talk to him, and he's adamant about singing
- 20:13Speaker 13: his eyes on the Sparrow.
- 20:15Speaker 1: We just don't think that one's gonna work.
- 20:24Speaker 13: And now we didn't want to tell the blind man
- 20:26Speaker 13: not to sing, you know, play that song right about
- 20:31Speaker 13: the thighs is on the sparrow.
- 20:33Speaker 1: So well, I told.
- 20:34Speaker 8: Him to go ahead and sing his eyes on the sparrow.
- 20:37Speaker 8: I didn't want him to sing precious Lord take my
- 20:40Speaker 8: head because he don't have but one of them, and
- 20:44Speaker 8: he won't be able.
- 20:45Speaker 1: To play the her mother.
- 20:46Speaker 12: You better him.
- 20:53Speaker 1: As shoot? Does he do that? He got he got
- 20:56Speaker 1: quick blowing that her mama. Now you ain't got no song?
- 21:02Speaker 8: Now man, well he will try to sing this little
- 21:06Speaker 8: light of mind, but he won't to act everything out.

- 39:43Speaker 8: I could stay right here, I'm saying right here, I
- 39:45Speaker 8: got enough to make it on in if I think
- 39:47Speaker 8: like this at one hundred, I'll be cool with it.
- 39:51Speaker 1: So physical physically, yeah, oh, physically, stay right up. You know?
- 39:55Speaker 9: Would you rather never on the show?
- 39:58Speaker 1: You know, you know, you know you pretty good? Look
- 40:00Speaker 1: at morning show when you look.
- 40:01Speaker 9: At you know, Yes.
- 40:04Speaker 8: Tommy and Jr. Can still run. I can trot for
- 40:10Speaker 8: sharp distances, were mobile shock for short distances. If I
- 40:19Speaker 8: do an outburst, it's got to be about four five steps.
- 40:25Speaker 1: Shut it down.
- 40:26Speaker 8: I immediately got to pull up because I have heard
- 40:29Speaker 8: it about to come right after that.
- 40:30Speaker 9: Don't hurt nothing, don't pull anything.
- 40:35Speaker 12: And Junior, what about you?
- 40:36Speaker 9: Would you rather never age physically or mentally?
- 40:40Speaker 1: Mentally?
- 40:40Speaker 10: I want to be missing so physically it ain't working
- 40:43Speaker 10: for me. Now I'm just in there. I'm in him,
- 40:45Speaker 10: but it ain't the ain't nothing happening in there.
- 40:48Speaker 9: Tommy quickly physically okay, okay, all right, well thank you.
- 40:54Speaker 1: That's our round developing physically. Well, he's been there.
- 40:57Speaker 2: Man, you're listening to Steve Hardy Morning Show. It is
- 41:06Speaker 2: time now to check out Steve's voicemail. If you want
- 41:08Speaker 2: to leave Steve a voicemail, call him eight seven seven
- 41:11Speaker 2: twenty nine. Steve, let's go to the phone, Steve. This
- 41:13Speaker 2: caller is about Africa.
- 41:17Speaker 17: Good morning Steve and the Morning Show. I was calling
- 41:20Speaker 17: to ask Steve, what part of Africa did you go to?
- 41:24Speaker 17: Because I wanted to travel to Africa this year and
- 41:27Speaker 17: I wanted to see which city country I want to
- 41:31Speaker 17: travel to? Which one do you recommend?
- 41:33Speaker 3: Steve?
- 41:33Speaker 1: Thank you, I'm dyinga.
- 41:34Speaker 5: From the Rman.
- 41:35Speaker 8: Well, I've gone to quite a few, but I highly
- 41:39Speaker 8: recommend that you go to Ghana because you have to
- 41:43Speaker 8: go to the slave castles. You have to go and
- 41:48Speaker 8: see what was done to us to enable us to
- 41:51Speaker 8: get on the ships. It was one of the most emotional,
- 41:57Speaker 8: heart wrenching things I've ever a scene. Wow, And I'm
- 42:03Speaker 8: telling you, man, what they did to us as Africans,
- 42:07Speaker 8: it's unthinkable. And then they had the nerve on top
- 42:12Speaker 8: of the slave castles to build churches and cut holes
- 42:17Speaker 8: in the floor so the Africans that were enslaves are
- 42:22Speaker 8: a thousand slaves in the area that's big enough for
- 42:26Speaker 8: two hundred people. Pack a thousand people in there with
- 42:30Speaker 8: no running water, no bathroom facilities, so they could hear
- 42:34Speaker 8: them saying about Christ. And then they had the nerve
- 42:37Speaker 8: to try to walk me in that church upstairs. I
- 42:40Speaker 8: wouldn't even go in there. This ain't no church, This
- 42:43Speaker 8: ain't no house or worship, This ain't where God at.
- 42:45Speaker 8: I'm not going in here. Who y'all think y'all talking
- 42:48Speaker 8: to the God I know was not in that church?
- 42:50Speaker 8: Oh man, it's called So anyway, long story short, go
- 42:54Speaker 8: to Ghana because it's beautiful. The people in Opera are
- 42:58Speaker 8: wonderful that they have trips out to the castles and
- 43:04Speaker 8: it's just an amazing experience to see where it all
- 43:07Speaker 8: started from. You gotta do that first, and then I
- 43:10Speaker 8: recommend you go to Johannesburg so you can see what
- 43:13Speaker 8: we've become. And then Cape Town, Derby, South Africa is wonderful.
- 43:19Speaker 8: I strongly suggest going to Kenya. Kenya's beautiful. If you
- 43:23Speaker 8: can go to Rwanda, it's the most pristine city you've
- 43:27Speaker 8: ever seen.
- 43:28Speaker 1: You've never seen a city like Rwanda.
- 43:32Speaker 8: They ain't a leaf on the ground over there, man.
- 43:36Speaker 8: And then Boswana. You got to see Boswana. You gotta
- 43:39Speaker 8: go to Okevanga Delta. So if I went to a trip,
- 43:42Speaker 8: I would do it two way. I would go to
- 43:44Speaker 8: Ghana and then me personally, I would go to Boswana.
- 43:48Speaker 8: But you gotta want to see the cities that we've built, Johannesburg.
- 43:52Speaker 1: Cape Town.
- 43:53Speaker 9: Okay, all right, all right.
- 43:55Speaker 2: See we have a caller who's just relocated to la
- 43:58Speaker 2: from Virginia.
- 43:59Speaker 9: She's looking for love.
- 44:01Speaker 15: The e me Steve Harvey Show. I am a sixty
- 44:04Speaker 15: year old black female. I'm a licensed nurse and I
- 44:09Speaker 15: have four children but never been married. I am looking
- 44:13Speaker 15: for my mate.
- 44:15Speaker 9: I have just moved back to LA.
- 44:18Speaker 15: Sold my house in Virginia, moved back to LA. So
- 44:21Speaker 15: I'm starting over, but I'm only attracting forty year old
- 44:26Speaker 15: Can you give me some advice? Men in their sixties
- 44:29Speaker 15: do not realize that I am in my sixties and
- 44:32Speaker 15: there's not much to work. But so can you give
- 44:35Speaker 15: me an advice to find out where can I go
- 44:38Speaker 15: to meet the manager? It's more closer to my age
- 44:40Speaker 15: and we have more in common. Okay, my name is Carol,
- 44:43Speaker 15: and thank you very much.
- 44:46Speaker 1: Well, Carol.
- 44:46Speaker 8: First of all, the reason you can't attract me in
- 44:50Speaker 8: your age group is because you look young, because you
- 44:52Speaker 8: took care of yourself and you find The second reason
- 44:55Speaker 8: is you got real sexy boy is Carol, and that's
- 44:58Speaker 8: working for you too, because Julie, I.
- 45:00Speaker 1: Wanted to holler at you right now, right.
- 45:03Speaker 8: And just his name Junior alone should tell you that
- 45:07Speaker 8: you gang an OBEs member.
- 45:09Speaker 1: The little chat yeah.
- 45:12Speaker 8: And so and without even seeing a picture of y'all
- 45:15Speaker 8: can tell you got yourself together and everything like that.
- 45:18Speaker 8: I would go on an older dating site. I would
- 45:21Speaker 8: try online dating and make sure that you have an
- 45:25Speaker 8: age request and you should be looking for a man
- 45:29Speaker 8: fifty and up. And because a fifty old man like
- 45:34Speaker 8: he already it's equivalent me and age harder than women anyway,
- 45:40Speaker 8: So if you get a fifty old man, the ass
- 45:42Speaker 8: might look six years old.
- 45:45Speaker 1: Nobody on this show.
- 45:46Speaker 9: All right, thank you if you want.
- 45:48Speaker 2: If you want to leave, Steve a boy smail call
- 45:50Speaker 2: him eight seven seven twenty nine. Steve coming up next.
- 45:53Speaker 2: The nephew is here with today's frank phone call. Right
- 45:56Speaker 2: after this, you're.
- 45:58Speaker 9: Listening to the Steve Harvey Moore show.
- 46:01Speaker 2: Coming up at the top of the hour, right about
- 46:04Speaker 2: four minutes after. It's my strawberry letter for today. The
- 46:06Speaker 2: subject the.
- 46:07Speaker 9: Backseat and the barbershop.
- 46:10Speaker 2: We'll get into that and find out what that's all
- 46:12Speaker 2: about in just a little bit, but right now it
- 46:15Speaker 2: is the nephew and the prank phone call.
- 46:17Speaker 9: What you got for it's nept today.
- 46:19Speaker 1: As you're not lie?
- 46:21Speaker 9: Yeah, you know that always kills me.
- 46:24Speaker 13: Courch bought me this glove that I may have healing power.
- 46:31Speaker 1: Which way is up?
- 46:32Speaker 13: Which way is up? I could do any movie that's
- 46:36Speaker 13: the one I want to do with. All right there,
- 46:37Speaker 13: let me let me play three people? Which way is up?
- 46:40Speaker 1: Really?
- 46:41Speaker 6: Really?

- 56:16Speaker 1: It is the Strawberry Letter.
- 56:19Speaker 9: Thank you, nephew.
- 56:20Speaker 2: Subject the back seat and the Barbershop. Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 56:25Speaker 2: I'm a married woman in my late forties. I have
- 56:27Speaker 2: a boyfriend that's five years younger than I am, and
- 56:30Speaker 2: he's also married. He's a co owner of a barbershop,
- 56:34Speaker 2: and that's where we met. That's where I met him.
- 56:37Speaker 2: We've been seeing each other for a few weeks and
- 56:40Speaker 2: he's got long work hours, so we have to have
- 56:42Speaker 2: sex whenever and wherever we can. The first time we
- 56:46Speaker 2: were intimate, it was magical. I made an appointment to
- 56:50Speaker 2: get my lock shampooed, and I had no idea it
- 56:53Speaker 2: would be done by a big, handsome man with magical fingers.
- 56:57Speaker 9: Wow.
- 56:58Speaker 2: We were the only two in the barbershop, and he
- 57:01Speaker 2: asked me to remove my turtlenecks so.
- 57:03Speaker 9: It wouldn't get wet.
- 57:05Speaker 2: I knew he was flirting because I'd never been asked
- 57:07Speaker 2: to remove my shirt to get my hair washed. I
- 57:11Speaker 2: did it, and I leaned back in the chair with
- 57:13Speaker 2: my ample bosom spilling out of my black lace bra
- 57:18Speaker 2: He told me that he is all man and my
- 57:21Speaker 2: breasts were making it hard for him to work. He
- 57:24Speaker 2: leaned against me while he shampooed my hair, and I
- 57:27Speaker 2: could feel it pressed up on my arm. It was
- 57:32Speaker 2: at eye level, so as he shampooed my hair, I
- 57:35Speaker 2: did what I had to do. Since then, I've been
- 57:38Speaker 2: going by his shop a few days a week. When
- 57:40Speaker 2: there are other customers inside the barber shop, we go
- 57:44Speaker 2: out to the back seat of his car. We're either
- 57:47Speaker 2: in his barbershop or on the back seat. I would
- 57:50Speaker 2: love to stretch out and thoroughly enjoy myself, but he's
- 57:53Speaker 2: always got clients to get back to. It's the quickest,
- 57:57Speaker 2: most enjoyable sex I've had.
- 57:59Speaker 9: In a long time.
- 58:01Speaker 2: I tried to arrange a meetup for us in the
- 58:03Speaker 2: past weekend this past weekend and he said he can't
- 58:06Speaker 2: see me outside of work hours because he's a family man.
- 58:10Speaker 9: First.
- 58:11Speaker 2: How can he say this after all the kinky things
- 58:13Speaker 2: he's done to me. I offered to get us a
- 58:16Speaker 2: hotel room, and he said, no, Why is he putting
- 58:19Speaker 2: limits on our affair? Why is he putting limits on
- 58:24Speaker 2: your affair? You haven't figured it out yet.
- 58:28Speaker 12: You're just the back seat girl.
- 58:30Speaker 2: Okay, he's not trying to have anything more than that
- 58:33Speaker 2: with you. You were too easy the first day in
- 58:36Speaker 2: the barbershop. You were doing too much. Then now you
- 58:40Speaker 2: want to stretch out and get comfortable and what make love. No,
- 58:44Speaker 2: he just wants to do you in the backseat of
- 58:46Speaker 2: his car and get back to his clients. Okay, that's it.
- 58:50Speaker 2: You want to turn things up and have a full
- 58:52Speaker 2: blown affair or something with this guy, but.
- 58:54Speaker 9: That's not happening.
- 58:55Speaker 2: You're just some merry chick he's got on the side.
- 58:58Speaker 2: Stop trying to make this more than what it is.
- 59:01Speaker 2: It's not. He's not gonna get too involved with you
- 59:04Speaker 2: because he's a family man first.
- 59:07Speaker 12: That's what he said.
- 59:08Speaker 2: You don't mean anything to him. You're not important to him.
- 59:10Speaker 2: Isn't this obvious. He's not going out of his way
- 59:13Speaker 2: for you.
- 59:14Speaker 9: He's not spending any.
- 59:15Speaker 2: Money on you any time really other than the quickies,
- 59:18Speaker 2: and he's not gonna take you anywhere nice.
- 59:20Speaker 9: Well, where's your husband? Anyway?
- 59:22Speaker 2: While all this is going on, I say to you,
- 59:25Speaker 2: get your dignity back. Stop being the back seat girl.
- 59:29Speaker 2: Leave this man alone. He's going to end it anyway
- 59:32Speaker 2: because you're going to become a problem to him. You're
- 59:35Speaker 2: catching feelings you want more than he's willing to give,
- 59:39Speaker 2: and that's not a good look for him, this married
- 59:42Speaker 2: man who puts his family first.
- 59:44Speaker 8: Steve, it amazes me how people send these letters in

- 1:18:07Speaker 2: Morning Show coming up in twenty minutes after the hour.
- 1:18:10Speaker 2: A good one, guys, back at you're supposed to be
- 1:18:12Speaker 2: a Christian.
- 1:18:15Speaker 9: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:18:20Speaker 2: So scienists say it takes about twenty one days or
- 1:18:23Speaker 2: twenty one days exactly to build a habit. So if
- 1:18:26Speaker 2: you're planning to make a New Year's resolution and for
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: next year and stick to it, you should start your
- 1:18:33Speaker 2: resolution now, That's what the scientists are saying.
- 1:18:36Speaker 9: Then by the beginning of the new year, you will
- 1:18:38Speaker 9: already be in the new habit.
- 1:18:40Speaker 2: You know, have that new habit, It'll be underway, and
- 1:18:43Speaker 2: you'll be more likely to keep it. That's why I
- 1:18:46Speaker 2: guess that's why a lot of people drop off after
- 1:18:48Speaker 2: they make those resolutions.
- 1:18:49Speaker 9: They don't keep them because they're not in the habit
- 1:18:51Speaker 9: of doing it. So start now, according to scientists. So, Steve,
- 1:18:54Speaker 9: have you thought about your New Year's resolutions? Are you
- 1:18:56Speaker 9: making it for next year?
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: I stopped doing the musical.
- 1:19:02Speaker 9: Because you didn't. You didn't stick to him. Is that
- 1:19:04Speaker 9: why you stopped?
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: No, I just decided whenever I'm gonna do something, I'm
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: gonna do it now. I don't went to New York
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: New Year to do nothing. Okay, I gotta get healthy.
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: I gotta get healthy now. I ain't got no right.
- 1:19:15Speaker 9: So you're kind of in keeping with what the scientists
- 1:19:17Speaker 9: are saying.
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: Then, well, I don't know. He was no scientist.
- 1:19:23Speaker 9: I know he's not a scientist.
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: Have trouble spelling it fell scientists though, S C I
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: E N T I S T.
- 1:19:37Speaker 9: Yeah, very good.
- 1:19:39Speaker 8: Don't don't ask me to spell nothing that's got to
- 1:19:42Speaker 8: do with science.
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: You just got the subject.
- 1:19:46Speaker 6: I'm good.
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't worry about nothing. Symbols and stuff they got.
