- 0:13Speaker 1: them mom just like themzing buck bus things. And it's
- 0:17Speaker 1: tough y'all to be true. Good to Steve Hardy listening
- 0:24Speaker 1: to me when together for Stu barn Moby, I don't
- 0:38Speaker 1: join yeah by joint beerio with me. Honey said dot turn,
- 1:07Speaker 1: yeah you go. You gotta turn to turn the turn
- 1:42Speaker 1: you lovey got to turn out to turn the water
- 1:47Speaker 1: the water go. Come come on your back, dad, Uh huh.
- 2:02Speaker 1: I show will a good morning everybody. You're listening to
- 2:05Speaker 1: the voice, Come on dig me now, one and only
- 2:09Speaker 1: Steve Harvey, I got a radio show, yeah, man, real
- 2:14Speaker 1: grateful for that. You know it's funny man. I remember
- 2:17Speaker 1: when I um first started out in radio. A lot
- 2:20Speaker 1: of my peers laughed at me. It was, you know,
- 2:25Speaker 1: some of it was being mean spirited, some of it
- 2:28Speaker 1: was just you know, marking me. I'm used to stuff
- 2:30Speaker 1: like that. But I had as a special guest on
- 2:35Speaker 1: my show, Joel Oldstein on my talk show. And you
- 2:38Speaker 1: know something, man, he he said something that was I
- 2:41Speaker 1: can't remember the scripture. I don't know exactly how I
- 2:43Speaker 1: ware like. We were having a long conversation, but the
- 2:47Speaker 1: gist of it was, don't be upset with where you
- 2:50Speaker 1: are now, and don't be upset with the small things
- 2:53Speaker 1: in your life. Be grateful for the small things and
- 2:56Speaker 1: the small position that you have right now because you
- 2:59Speaker 1: don't know where going You don't know what that's gonna
- 3:01Speaker 1: be one day. You don't know what that's gonna lead to.
- 3:04Speaker 1: And that was very uh warming to hear him say that,
- 3:09Speaker 1: But it also reminded me of when I started in radio,
- 3:11Speaker 1: how small it was. It reminded me of when I
- 3:14Speaker 1: started in stand up making twenty five dollars a show.
- 3:18Speaker 1: It reminded me of the cause I used to drive
- 3:24Speaker 1: and the cause I didn't have. It reminds me of
- 3:28Speaker 1: not having a home at a period in my life
- 3:33Speaker 1: and what God has allowed me to live in now.
- 3:37Speaker 1: So don't be distraught over your position now and don't
- 3:42Speaker 1: be ungrateful or unappreciative for the things you have now
- 3:46Speaker 1: because you don't know what that's gonna grow into. And
- 3:49Speaker 1: that's really the gist of what he got that I
- 3:51Speaker 1: that I got from what he was saying. I just
- 3:54Speaker 1: wanted to share that with you that where you are
- 3:56Speaker 1: now it's so temporary because now, like I've said, for
- 4:00Speaker 1: now is a fleeting moment. As soon as you say now,
- 4:04Speaker 1: right after you fits saying now, that moment that you
- 4:08Speaker 1: claimed as now, that's gone. So the where you are
- 4:12Speaker 1: now it's a very fleeting process. Now you can change
- 4:16Speaker 1: where you are now, and you can change how you
- 4:20Speaker 1: feel about where you're at now, and you can change
- 4:23Speaker 1: about where you're going by simply changing your mind. It
- 4:28Speaker 1: is no difference. I'm telling you, folks. The thing that
- 4:31Speaker 1: I've learned about successful people is not so much of
- 4:35Speaker 1: what they do. It's not what they have, is not
- 4:40Speaker 1: how I see them functioning. The biggest thing I've learned
- 4:43Speaker 1: about successful people is how they think. That's the thing
- 4:48Speaker 1: that's different. It's how they think. And I'm telling you
- 4:52Speaker 1: that you can change the way you think on any
- 4:55Speaker 1: subject and start becoming successful towards that starting now, and
- 5:02Speaker 1: that you have to understand that. Man, the biggest difference
- 5:06Speaker 1: I've noticed between successful people and non successful people is
- 5:10Speaker 1: how they think. I was reading what is God said
- 5:15Speaker 1: that he was taught all wrong about money. He said
- 5:19Speaker 1: that his father was very negative about money. He all
- 5:22Speaker 1: throughout his life. He heard his father say, you know,
- 5:25Speaker 1: people who got money have walked on somebody to get it,
- 5:29Speaker 1: or cheated somebody to get it. People who have money,
- 5:31Speaker 1: money is the root of all evil. Money is money
- 5:35Speaker 1: is this And people who got money, you know, don't
- 5:38Speaker 1: deserve it. They've done something wrong to get it. YadA, y'all.
- 5:41Speaker 1: So he said, he grew up the whole time thinking
- 5:44Speaker 1: that having money was something was wrong with that. He
- 5:47Speaker 1: discovered that it wasn't. You know. Now, Look, you can
- 5:51Speaker 1: choose to be successful anywhere you want to. I've chosen
- 5:54Speaker 1: several ways to be successful. I want to be a very,
- 5:57Speaker 1: very successful father. I think that's one of the things
- 6:01Speaker 1: that's paramount in my life that I really am working
- 6:04Speaker 1: hard right now to become a successful father. Not a
- 6:09Speaker 1: successful father in terms of money, but a successful father
- 6:13Speaker 1: in terms of offering the amount of love and guidance
- 6:18Speaker 1: and leadership and the example that my children need to
- 6:21Speaker 1: look at. And that's what I'm really really working hard
- 6:24Speaker 1: at now. I want to be successful as a father,
- 6:26Speaker 1: but also I want to be successful as a husband.
- 6:30Speaker 1: You know, I want Marjorie to always know that she
- 6:32Speaker 1: can count on me, that to not have to wonder
- 6:34Speaker 1: about me a look for me. You know. I want
- 6:37Speaker 1: her to feel secure in the fact that I really
- 6:41Speaker 1: have gotten it right, that I really am focused on
- 6:45Speaker 1: being a good husband to her. Because it means so
- 6:48Speaker 1: much to me having gone through everything I've gone through
- 6:51Speaker 1: and having God to have at this stage of my
- 6:54Speaker 1: life giving me such a wonderful gift. I want to
- 6:57Speaker 1: want to show her how much I appreciate it. Uh,
- 7:00Speaker 1: you know. So, I'm working hard on a lot of levels.
- 7:02Speaker 1: I'm working hard and trying very strong to be a
- 7:06Speaker 1: successful motivator of people. I want to be a sharer
- 7:10Speaker 1: of information to people that will uplift others and give
- 7:13Speaker 1: others the same things that I've learned through the trials
- 7:17Speaker 1: and tribulations of my life. But at the same time
- 7:20Speaker 1: share that information and use the power of this microphone
- 7:24Speaker 1: to uplift people, you know, not to destroy. My show
- 7:27Speaker 1: is not about guess what's going so said? Guess what's
- 7:30Speaker 1: going so did? I don't like mean spirited things about people,
- 7:34Speaker 1: you know. I joke with people calling this that's another thing.
- 7:37Speaker 1: But I don't like destroying people with the power to microphone.
- 7:40Speaker 1: So working very hard on being successful in a lot
- 7:42Speaker 1: of areas of my life now. Also, I do care
- 7:45Speaker 1: about being financially successful too, because my father the one
- 7:50Speaker 1: one of the gifts he gave me was very simple gift.
- 7:53Speaker 1: He told me a long time ago. He says, son,
- 7:55Speaker 1: the best thing you can do for poor people is
- 7:58Speaker 1: not be one of them. And that's stuck with me.
- 8:02Speaker 1: And this was a hard working man who was a
- 8:04Speaker 1: coal miner, who worked construction his entire life. My father
- 8:09Speaker 1: didn't have an easy life man. My father didn't sit
- 8:12Speaker 1: behind a microphone. My father didn't come to work and
- 8:15Speaker 1: people cheered for him. My father wasn't famous. My father
- 8:19Speaker 1: was just a go get it due that he instilled
- 8:22Speaker 1: that in me and I've taken that and applied it
- 8:24Speaker 1: to my craft and I thank God him for that.
- 8:27Speaker 1: But I do try to be financially successful so that
- 8:31Speaker 1: I can do some things with it to help some
- 8:32Speaker 1: other people. Now, am I opposed to having nice things? No?
- 8:37Speaker 1: Do I apologize for having nice things? No? And why
- 8:40Speaker 1: should I I work? I work? You know, I'm done.
- 8:43Speaker 1: I'm not. I'm not on the radio asking to give
- 8:46Speaker 1: me money, you know, so I can go buy a car.
- 8:49Speaker 1: I'm working. So I don't feel how you want to
- 8:52Speaker 1: feel and other people do feel that way about it.
- 8:54Speaker 1: But if success in terms of finance it's what you're lacking,
- 8:58Speaker 1: you can go about the isnt of doing that. I'm
- 9:01Speaker 1: writing a book, and that whole book is about teaching
- 9:04Speaker 1: people how to become successful. And Man, I'm breaking it
- 9:08Speaker 1: down in a way where everybody can get it, man,
- 9:11Speaker 1: because I want the college student to get it, you know,
- 9:14Speaker 1: I want I want the working mom to get it,
- 9:16Speaker 1: the single mom to get it, the the the hard
- 9:20Speaker 1: working father that has been trying to hold his family
- 9:23Speaker 1: together can get it. The father that ain't ever got
- 9:26Speaker 1: it together and feel that because of that reason, he
- 9:28Speaker 1: can't be the father he needs to be. I'm writing something, man,
- 9:32Speaker 1: to put it into words, to let you know that
- 9:35Speaker 1: God is a forgiving God, and that God is a
- 9:38Speaker 1: merciful God, and that God can get you out of
- 9:42Speaker 1: any situation you find yourself in. You just can't beat
- 9:45Speaker 1: yourself up every time you make a mistake. I make
- 9:48Speaker 1: mistakes all the time, man, I just got to remind
- 9:50Speaker 1: myself to get up. I ask God for forgiveness, I
- 9:54Speaker 1: call on his mercy and its grace and I get
- 9:57Speaker 1: up and I go again. But it's coming, man, and
- 9:59Speaker 1: if their success is what you want, you got to
- 10:02Speaker 1: change your mind. You got to start thinking about how
- 10:05Speaker 1: to produce it. You got what you gotta just this
- 10:08Speaker 1: is not what you do first. The first thing you
- 10:10Speaker 1: do is you gotta ask. You gotta ask ask to
- 10:15Speaker 1: have a life and have a life more abundantly. That's
- 10:18Speaker 1: a scripture that he comes to you to give you
- 10:22Speaker 1: life and to give you life more abundantly. That's a scripture.
- 10:26Speaker 1: That ain't a joke, that ain't a theory. That's a fact,
- 10:30Speaker 1: and the fact that if you don't have a life
- 10:32Speaker 1: of abundance, you can get that by asking. Now follow
- 10:36Speaker 1: the rest of it. But it starts by asking. Then
- 10:39Speaker 1: it starts by believing, and how to don't even worry
- 10:42Speaker 1: about that. He takes care of that himself. He'll send
- 10:45Speaker 1: the stuff your way. But you gotta be willing to
- 10:47Speaker 1: put some effort in this thing now, and you can
- 10:50Speaker 1: do it. Okay. I know I was a little around
- 10:52Speaker 1: the place today, but that's what it was. So you know,
- 10:55Speaker 1: let's go get it all right. You're listening, ladies and gentlemen,
- 11:02Speaker 1: boys and girls, May I have your attention please? You
- 11:05Speaker 1: are listening to the Bads Morning Show, on radio from
- 11:11Speaker 1: anywhere in the free world, third world, and out of
- 11:16Speaker 1: this world is nothing like it. And today's show is

- 11:49Speaker 1: on people you don't even No, no, this is dedicated

- 12:01Speaker 1: say the famous words. I'll show you haters who's sit

- 15:45Speaker 1: what you want. It was rough. So it was rough
- 15:48Speaker 1: for a lot of people. Man, But you know, thank
- 15:51Speaker 1: god it wasn't worse. But there's so many people suffering
- 15:54Speaker 1: in spite of that fact. The upside is it wasn't worse.
- 15:59Speaker 1: Now for those of you just lost anyone, I mean,
- 16:02Speaker 1: you can't be any worse and I'm not saying that,

- 16:09Speaker 1: for those of you that understand, you know how God works.
- 16:13Speaker 1: If you're hearing, you safe and you made it as

- 17:12Speaker 1: because we moved out here to l A, I got
- 17:15Speaker 1: two jobs, my life a little different. Okay. So I
- 17:20Speaker 1: get a text message saying you've seen the kine answer
- 17:24Speaker 1: the phone, no more truth be told. I can't because
- 17:29Speaker 1: I got two jobs now, and why would I have
- 17:32Speaker 1: time to talk to you When I got two jobs,
- 17:35Speaker 1: you didn't get the hating if you want to, but
- 17:37Speaker 1: I'm moving up. So then they hit me back with
- 17:40Speaker 1: the text, Oh, so we're waving the brand new flag,
- 17:43Speaker 1: hell winds. Why would you want the old flag? I
- 17:46Speaker 1: ain't like the way that one felt. Yeah, I got
- 17:48Speaker 1: a new flag. It's called two jobs. Now I'm changing
- 17:53Speaker 1: my own life and I'm taking from responsibility for that.
- 17:56Speaker 1: So be upset if you want to one hater I got.
- 17:59Speaker 1: I still won't no phone call from me because I
- 18:01Speaker 1: got two jobs. I'm on Steve and the Morning Show.

- 18:05Speaker 1: saying it, but he thought it. You can kiss saying.
- 18:08Speaker 1: We're on one job right now, waiting to walk to
- 18:12Speaker 1: the other job. That's what we are now. We are
- 18:16Speaker 1: right now on one job. The other job down the
- 18:18Speaker 1: hall all my way. Okay, Jr. Finally man got one,
- 18:29Speaker 1: and it's motivating. They stack up. They to be getting more.
- 18:34Speaker 1: The bigger you get, the more you get, and the
- 18:36Speaker 1: further away from you they are. Yeah, that's what's crazy.
- 18:40Speaker 1: They can't get to you. Yeah, the further away from
- 18:42Speaker 1: you they are, it's not even close. Okay. So that
- 18:48Speaker 1: great thank you you got you one of you. Don't
- 18:51Speaker 1: thank you all that you start talking about about to
- 18:54Speaker 1: start to listen today, So deaf Jam Sunday night, we
- 18:59Speaker 1: shot it, man, great reunion. Man, it was some great
- 19:03Speaker 1: moments on stage. You gotta see it on Netflix, and
- 19:07Speaker 1: some great moments for me personally. Here's a moment that
- 19:10Speaker 1: I had I read up in the Cat Williams and
- 19:14Speaker 1: I haven't seen Cat Williams since two thousand and nine.
- 19:20Speaker 1: I think it was at night we performed in Detroit
- 19:23Speaker 1: and he said some pretty strong remarks and released the
- 19:27Speaker 1: video and everything. You know, A book came out that
- 19:29Speaker 1: year and I been to Cat Williams and I'm happy
- 19:33Speaker 1: to say that Cat and I are at peace. And
- 19:42Speaker 1: uh yeah, man, he looked good. Yeah, man, Cat look
- 19:47Speaker 1: cat one up on stage. He was funny, he was
- 19:48Speaker 1: Cat Williams. Yeah he was. Yeah, he was funny. Man.
- 19:52Speaker 1: He said some funny stuff when he walked his little
- 19:55Speaker 1: lass out there. So that was a who a moment
- 20:01Speaker 1: for me. And shout out to my boy stutter Box,
- 20:04Speaker 1: stutter Box in l A, who actually saved me one time.
- 20:09Speaker 1: He really did, man, His brother saved me. I just
- 20:11Speaker 1: got myself into quite a situation with some bangers out
- 20:15Speaker 1: there and he made one phone call. Oh yeah no,
- 20:19Speaker 1: but you know, you want to send shout out to
- 20:21Speaker 1: people like that. Stutter Box man, good boy, stutter Box,
- 20:23Speaker 1: appreciate you, y'all. Hear this on the radio, tell Steve
- 20:26Speaker 1: obvious sitting big love and the shout out he my
- 20:28Speaker 1: boy ever where he goes with the healing is good.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Sometimes you got a good for him. Then I saw
- 20:39Speaker 1: I saw dear Hugley. We hugged. We brothers. Uh you
- 20:45Speaker 1: Hugly walked out on stage says some things about me.
- 20:48Speaker 1: You know at the show last night. We was out
- 20:50Speaker 1: there together because we paid TRIPU to Bernie Mac last night,
- 20:54Speaker 1: So all the Kings walked out on stage with cigar
- 20:58Speaker 1: lit and smoking. I felt like you had to come
- 21:00Speaker 1: to Jesus meeting. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. All I
- 21:04Speaker 1: had to do was have you that Tommy. That's all
- 21:07Speaker 1: I needed was you there and we could clear the
- 21:10Speaker 1: air about that time you oh took my car and
- 21:14Speaker 1: use my house when I was out of town. We
- 21:15Speaker 1: could just get that under the wave. That's why are
- 21:20Speaker 1: we still talking about that? See right there? Why is
- 21:24Speaker 1: we still talking? Why are we guys? Why are we
- 21:31Speaker 1: still talking about this? Hey? Thank you? Are you always
- 21:36Speaker 1: gonna be in this? Listen? We gotta go coming up next, nephew,

- 21:44Speaker 1: after this come back. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 21:51Speaker 1: Anna's gonna be here. She'll have today's national national headlines,
- 21:54Speaker 1: of course national news, and the hurricane tropical storm Armor.
- 21:59Speaker 1: But right now it's time for the nephews. Run that

- 23:32Speaker 1: there a certain makeup for for men? It works out
- 23:37Speaker 1: the same as for women in photo shoots. You just
- 23:39Speaker 1: need some type of crane foundation, something that even out
- 23:41Speaker 1: the skin tone. Uh, powder you down to take away
- 23:44Speaker 1: the oils, cover up any blemishes or anything like that.
- 23:47Speaker 1: It's pretty much the same. Of course, you don't get
- 23:48Speaker 1: the whole eyeshadow and lashes and stuff. But right, right, right, right,
- 23:52Speaker 1: Well I'm not all that, but I just try to,
- 23:54Speaker 1: you know, just trying to look good on camera. Um,
- 23:57Speaker 1: let me ask you this, how much makeup have you done?

- 24:04Speaker 1: I'm very comfortable with it. You'll be fine, trust me.
- 24:06Speaker 1: That's what I was really worried about it, if you
- 24:08Speaker 1: were going to be comfortable with it, because uh, I
- 24:10Speaker 1: mean have you done? Um I'm a little conscientious about
- 24:13Speaker 1: a few things, you know what I mean? And you
- 24:17Speaker 1: have how many butts have you done? I'm sorry how
- 24:23Speaker 1: many what like like like butts? You know how many?
- 24:25Speaker 1: How many butts have you made up? I haven't made
- 24:30Speaker 1: up any? But are you like me? Like? Yeah, I
- 24:34Speaker 1: mean you could see I'm actually doing a nude photo
- 24:37Speaker 1: shoot and uh, you know, I got a couple of
- 24:40Speaker 1: scratches and you know, some old scars on my butt
- 24:43Speaker 1: and you know, like like you said, you know, I'm
- 24:45Speaker 1: a little shy about you know some of that. So
- 24:47Speaker 1: I was you can actually hope they can actually make
- 24:49Speaker 1: sure that those cars don't show and you know you
- 24:53Speaker 1: said you kind of you know, uh, make sure everything
- 24:56Speaker 1: is it doesn't look oily, you know what I mean?
- 24:59Speaker 1: And I just need to get my out. Well, but
- 25:02Speaker 1: I I didn't when I didn't understand what you're talking

- 41:49Speaker 1: me have that. Let me start. See back in the day,
- 41:52Speaker 1: my nickname was fish diet nobody, no fish. I didn't
- 41:57Speaker 1: speak to fish. Yours do fine to speak to fish.

- 42:43Speaker 1: who know my name now? Being a collector who they're
- 42:48Speaker 1: talking to now? But if they don't even call me
- 42:51Speaker 1: by my real name, that's how I know they know
- 42:52Speaker 1: I got money. Let's excuse me as junior and Junior
- 42:55Speaker 1: that ain't my good name. Everybody know now, Well, it's
- 43:01Speaker 1: right up my alley. Nah, I got a little money. Yeah,
- 43:07Speaker 1: you know who I am now? Yeah, this goes out
- 43:11Speaker 1: to Ike back in Cleveland and Mr Albert's mean stud. Yeah.
- 43:18Speaker 1: I used to call me l kate Lewa. Nah. But
- 43:26Speaker 1: and I I'm buy your whole damn stone. So the
- 43:30Speaker 1: next time I walk in, I ain't coming in law
- 43:34Speaker 1: feel me? Yeah, I might just by your tail. What
- 43:40Speaker 1: are you doing? Hey? Let me put an initial out
- 43:46Speaker 1: there with the last name, just the initial and the
- 43:49Speaker 1: last name. You know who you are, the last name white? Ah?
- 43:56Speaker 1: You were so fine, Oh my god, was fine? Did
- 44:02Speaker 1: not even speak to me in the hall way. I
- 44:06Speaker 1: walked past you act like a slave because I ain't
- 44:08Speaker 1: wanna look your now. He was that damn fine. But
- 44:11Speaker 1: oh it's change. She's got a little money. Yeah, yeah,
- 44:21Speaker 1: he's got a little money. I'll tell you where everybody
- 44:25Speaker 1: know my name that Now I'm a lot more familiar
- 44:27Speaker 1: and welcome. When I walk into bank account used to
- 44:31Speaker 1: sit on six dollars. But when I didn't know this though,
- 44:38Speaker 1: when I go in to bank, now there's a whole
- 44:40Speaker 1: another room. It's got vegetables. Hit it wig, She's oh,
- 44:45Speaker 1: when I'm going to bankers, Mr Space this away. You
- 44:49Speaker 1: stand in line. Come on around this way. Do you
- 44:52Speaker 1: have your access card? Never mind, I have mad You know.
- 45:00Speaker 1: I used to couldn't go to you. I didn't get
- 45:03Speaker 1: invited to the big Christmas party because I just you
- 45:06Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. I wasn't big enough. I didn't
- 45:08Speaker 1: have a name enough. But now that i'm violing and
- 45:11Speaker 1: I'm I'm on the show, and I'm the nephew you
- 45:13Speaker 1: got a little money in doing the stand up. I
- 45:15Speaker 1: don't want to go to your Christmas party now. I
- 45:18Speaker 1: thought my old damn Christmas party and my shot to
- 45:22Speaker 1: keep all right, all right, We'll be back with nephew
- 45:27Speaker 1: Timmy's praying phone call right after this. You're listening to
- 45:32Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at the top
- 45:35Speaker 1: of the hour. Right about four minutes after today's strawberry letter.

- 45:44Speaker 1: subject called now I got a little money? Yeah, you
- 45:49Speaker 1: know who I am. Without allowing me at least two
- 45:53Speaker 1: shots at come on, yeh, have decided that I'm gonna
- 45:58Speaker 1: just do another come on cause I think it's a
- 46:01Speaker 1: well known fact that I do have a little money
- 46:08Speaker 1: to tell all the people I wanted to in my past.
- 46:12Speaker 1: I feel about it now, unlike Ja Jay only does
- 46:18Speaker 1: initials and last name, and that bill and that bills
- 46:30Speaker 1: with the beauty mark right above her lip in the corner. Oh,
- 46:35Speaker 1: this girl was so fine, man, I asked and that
- 46:40Speaker 1: bills to go to the junior prom. You know what
- 46:43Speaker 1: she told me that stuck with me for years. I
- 46:47Speaker 1: don't like your facial hates. You tell a boy that
- 46:55Speaker 1: you don't like this facial features? Ruin? I mean it's
- 47:01Speaker 1: that my face, that's lips, nose, eyes, lashes, brows, cheeks,
- 47:07Speaker 1: I had dimples. Damn, give me something. I don't like
- 47:12Speaker 1: your facial feat and that do you hate? And that's
- 47:18Speaker 1: been because you do. Yeah, my question and that you
- 47:25Speaker 1: might not like I got that. You could probably still
- 47:32Speaker 1: feel the same way. But my checks have multiple commas
- 47:37Speaker 1: in it. Not do you hate? And that beens because
- 47:42Speaker 1: we do. You tell a boy that's in the ninth
- 47:47Speaker 1: grade you don't like his facial features? All I am
- 47:52Speaker 1: questions that rus dog, she could donk that stayed with
- 47:57Speaker 1: me for a long time, facial fiction, all of them.
- 48:06Speaker 1: But I got dimple, always had nice teath, always had dimple.
- 48:12Speaker 1: I don't. I always had dimples. You know. She wouldn't
- 48:19Speaker 1: give me that, man that it hurt me. Man that
- 48:23Speaker 1: c and I'd be damn And she was so fine too.
- 48:28Speaker 1: I couldn't go but with you ugly too. I couldn't
- 48:31Speaker 1: do that. All right, come on, let's get to it.
- 48:36Speaker 1: Come on, nephew, what you got Today's that ain't my
- 48:39Speaker 1: brother baby? That ain't my brother's baby. At me, though
- 48:46Speaker 1: I love, I'm sorry, that ain't my brother's baby. It
- 48:51Speaker 1: was like, I'm sorry. I had a little ice cube
- 48:54Speaker 1: and that ain't my brother's baby. Give that right on out,
- 49:01Speaker 1: didn't He don't worry about It's something I need to
- 49:07Speaker 1: take care. I talked to man, I speak to Terry.
- 49:10Speaker 1: My name is Daryl, Damon is my brother. I don't
- 49:12Speaker 1: live in Dallas where y'all live. That I'm the one
- 49:15Speaker 1: that lived out of town. But we didn't have a
- 49:17Speaker 1: family meeting and talked about it. And uh, I know
- 49:20Speaker 1: Travis is your son. He eight years old. But the
- 49:24Speaker 1: problem is the reason why I'm calling you, Uh, Terry
- 49:27Speaker 1: is called. We didn't find out that Travis ain't none
- 49:31Speaker 1: of Damon's child. Travis ain't none of damon child. He'd
- 49:36Speaker 1: been paying you child support here for the last eight
- 49:38Speaker 1: hold And I'm Darrel, I'm Damon brother, and who we
- 49:45Speaker 1: we all have found the information. Now we actually gonna
- 49:47Speaker 1: go down there to the courthouse and get all this
- 49:48Speaker 1: stuff rectified. But we didn't find out that Travis ain't
- 49:52Speaker 1: not ain't not a Damon's child. And you've been sitting
- 49:55Speaker 1: up here sending you money seven eight hundred dollars a
- 49:57Speaker 1: month and this child ain't even here. Now, I hate
- 50:00Speaker 1: for Travis to find this out, and he's gonna have
- 50:02Speaker 1: to find it out where he ain't cunified that why
- 50:06Speaker 1: are you calling me? Look, the family didn't had a meeting,
- 50:09Speaker 1: and I'm the one that they decided to make the
- 50:10Speaker 1: phone call and tell you what's going on. Now, don't
- 50:13Speaker 1: you you you don't have a damn thing to do
- 50:15Speaker 1: with this. You You ain't nobody daddy over here, So
- 50:18Speaker 1: I'm not sure what you're calling for who God made
- 50:21Speaker 1: you key or wanted you to be here and charged
- 50:24Speaker 1: to call but that it's not gonna work out. But
- 50:26Speaker 1: let me why Why are you doing this to my brother?
- 50:29Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. For eight years, the man have
- 50:31Speaker 1: been sitting you seven hundred seven dollars a month and
- 50:33Speaker 1: and this ain't even his child, you know him? Why
- 50:38Speaker 1: am I even talking to you? I'm not really sure
- 50:41Speaker 1: your brother need to call me if he has any
- 50:42Speaker 1: problems with questions. You have a good thing. Hello, You
- 50:48Speaker 1: don't hang no damn phone up on me. Damon told
- 50:51Speaker 1: me and the last was hard headed anyway. Now look
- 50:54Speaker 1: you know what you got the wrong one, baby, Like
- 50:57Speaker 1: I'm trying to not lose all my religion today, but
- 50:59Speaker 1: you out to make me lose it on your You

- 51:05Speaker 1: uh my fun your nephew that you're trying not to
- 51:09Speaker 1: claim over there. I don't know why you came from
- 51:11Speaker 1: wherever the here. You said you came from the Dallas
- 51:12Speaker 1: to try to I came from California down here to Dalla,
- 51:16Speaker 1: and I'm telling you need to take your breath. I'm
- 51:18Speaker 1: back to California because down here if you don't know
- 51:20Speaker 1: me like that, No, I don't know you, but I'm
- 51:22Speaker 1: fending know you. And Travis been to know that my
- 51:25Speaker 1: brother ain't his daddy. I don't know you know that
- 51:28Speaker 1: you need to talk to your brother again. That's what
- 51:30Speaker 1: you need to do. And you don't need to be
- 51:31Speaker 1: talking to me. You've been to send us all the
- 51:33Speaker 1: money and my brother didn't sent y'all. I and when
- 51:38Speaker 1: I do, Look when I said, when I sent all
- 51:40Speaker 1: that eight years worth of money back, you're gonna send
- 51:43Speaker 1: every dying back because it belonged to my brother that
- 51:45Speaker 1: ain't my brother. Child. Now, we ain't got time to
- 51:48Speaker 1: be going on on Mari Repolver showing nothing to find
- 51:50Speaker 1: out who you know what? Like I said, you kicked
- 51:53Speaker 1: the wrong want to be your best friend, not to
- 51:55Speaker 1: call me anymore. You Actually it is a good thing
- 51:58Speaker 1: that you call because if you came it on my bro,
- 52:00Speaker 1: you got you today, No you got That's my second
- 52:03Speaker 1: thing offing to do. If we can't rectified over the foul.
- 52:06Speaker 1: I don't have a problem coming over there knocking down
- 52:08Speaker 1: some does and getting some questions answered, because damn it,
- 52:11Speaker 1: this ain't Damon's baby. Obviously you must wish it was yours,
- 52:14Speaker 1: so you're taking so much entry. No, it ain't mine,
- 52:17Speaker 1: but but it ain't game wins either, and we got
- 52:21Speaker 1: not had any and looking for from. But I'm sorry
- 52:23Speaker 1: this was taken over here and Damon where we continue
- 52:26Speaker 1: to play when he, Oh, Damon, don't open with your
- 52:30Speaker 1: brother's made that. I want to say, I'm sorry. He's
- 52:32Speaker 1: gonna continue to pay. And you can call wherever you
- 52:34Speaker 1: want to come, do whatever you want to do for
- 52:36Speaker 1: go back and tell your mama and everybody else who
- 52:38Speaker 1: who's waiting for this meeting to let them know it
- 52:41Speaker 1: ain't having me. Look, my mama ain't got nothing to
- 52:43Speaker 1: do with it. Mama been what's your mama? You say
- 52:46Speaker 1: your mama. Now, y'all got to get it. She's the
- 52:48Speaker 1: same way, like, I'll see where you get it from.
- 52:50Speaker 1: You're like, just like her, mama knows that y'all from,
- 52:52Speaker 1: knows it people, my y'all, damn business, that's the wrong man.
- 52:56Speaker 1: That ain't. My mama said it from the get go
- 52:58Speaker 1: that it wasn't Hunt, that it wasn't when chilm. I
- 53:01Speaker 1: mean your mama's the two faced lock because you're all
- 53:02Speaker 1: with your mama said, you ain't Beenna. Sit here and
- 53:05Speaker 1: bring my mama up in this well. If you know
- 53:07Speaker 1: so much, then you right come back on my ball.
- 53:09Speaker 1: I'm not on if you want to. We didn't done
- 53:11Speaker 1: the man. Seven hundred and fifty dollars times twelve times
- 53:16Speaker 1: eight is seven in two thousand dollars. That's how much

- 55:35Speaker 1: high as a hundred and forty two miles per hour,
- 55:38Speaker 1: and storm surges brought flooding in some areas, leaving forecasters
- 55:42Speaker 1: to protict Irma will land in the record books as

- 56:24Speaker 1: It'll be simulcast on ABC, on CBS, NBC, Fox, and
- 56:29Speaker 1: CMT eight o'clock Eastern, seven o'clock Central, and on tape
- 56:33Speaker 1: delay in the West where we are on the West
- 56:35Speaker 1: coast eight pm. Uh streamlined. You can go to Twitter, YouTube,
- 56:39Speaker 1: and Facebook if you want to see it streamlined live.
- 56:42Speaker 1: So there you go. So yesterday, I mean, we saw
- 56:45Speaker 1: some unbelievable pictures on on camera and TV. And did
- 56:48Speaker 1: you see how the water was away from the shore,
- 56:53Speaker 1: just Steve and then we pulled the ocean and the
- 56:56Speaker 1: water away from even Tampa Bay and pens Is And
- 57:00Speaker 1: this I learned this just the other day. I watch
- 57:04Speaker 1: your Weather channel. The swirl of the hurricane when it
- 57:08Speaker 1: comes inland, it goes in the circle right, Well, when
- 57:11Speaker 1: it comes over land, when it when you know, you know,
- 57:15Speaker 1: let's like this, this one was turning counter clock clockwise.
- 57:19Speaker 1: Irma was swirling counterclockwise, right, So when it comes over
- 57:23Speaker 1: land counterclockwise is back out to sea. So it pushes
- 57:28Speaker 1: from the wind of the hurricane. It pushes the water
- 57:32Speaker 1: out to sea. So if you like at tide high tide,
- 57:36Speaker 1: it pushes it out. So water levels were dropping three
- 57:40Speaker 1: four or five ft from what it would normally be.
- 57:43Speaker 1: Three ft of water is now missing because it's pushed
- 57:46Speaker 1: out to sea. Everything out. Yeah, it actually blows it
- 57:50Speaker 1: out in the swirl kind of court. Yes, everything. When
- 58:00Speaker 1: the hurricane subside, that water got to come back. Yeah. Yeah.
- 58:04Speaker 1: And those little surges like when God blesses you get
- 58:08Speaker 1: everything back hurricane h work on yourself, God here come
- 58:19Speaker 1: to surge. What if you had to it to something Jay, Yeah,
- 58:26Speaker 1: that was a phenomenon, right, you know, more people watch
- 58:32Speaker 1: the weather. It beat NFL football. More people are watching
- 58:35Speaker 1: the weather challenge than than any time ever. Man were
- 58:39Speaker 1: locked in on the weather. All right, temmy, let's go
- 58:44Speaker 1: hold on tight. We got it for you. Here it
- 58:46Speaker 1: is the Strawberry Lettic subject major dilemma. Good morning, Steve
- 58:50Speaker 1: Harvey and crew. I am writing because I have I
- 58:53Speaker 1: am having a major dilemma. My husband and I have
- 58:56Speaker 1: been together for about eleven years and have two children.
- 58:58Speaker 1: We're currently separate at it and have been going through
- 59:01Speaker 1: some things for the last few years, we have been
- 59:04Speaker 1: on and off again. We can't seem to get along
- 59:07Speaker 1: and there is a lack of communication. We have been
- 59:10Speaker 1: through everything except pregnancies outside the marriage on both parts.
- 59:14Speaker 1: At the present time, we live in two separate households
- 59:17Speaker 1: and have been separated since January. We recently talked and
- 59:21Speaker 1: know that we love each other and want to be together.
- 59:24Speaker 1: We also know that we need help getting past some
- 59:26Speaker 1: of our issues. We decided that we want to be
- 59:29Speaker 1: back together, but now the problem is the living arrangement.
- 59:32Speaker 1: He currently lives in the house his grandparents owned. I
- 59:36Speaker 1: live in the apartment we started a one year lease
- 59:39Speaker 1: on in September. He wants to move into the house. I, however,
- 59:44Speaker 1: do not. The reason I refused to is because of
- 59:47Speaker 1: the location of the house. It is not in the
- 59:49Speaker 1: greatest part of the city and the outbreak of violence
- 59:52Speaker 1: in this area of town is outstanding. I am not
- 59:55Speaker 1: too crazy about the house, and the schools in the
- 59:58Speaker 1: area suck. To say the lease, our children are currently
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: in a great school district and the environment is not
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: overcome with violence. He and I have both lived within
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: the city where the house is and we hated it.
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: That is why we moved. So now he wants to
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: live in the house and I refuse to. I would
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: much rather keep our children in the environment they are
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: in and get a home of our own. He dent,
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: now he didn't. Now I don't get that he dent.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: Now you know, I don't know. Uh. This has kept
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: us from getting back together. So what should we do?
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: We have no money to move and put our boys
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: in better schools where the house is located, and the
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: house needs repairs which at this time we cannot afford.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: So what advice do you have for us? How can
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: we get past this reaching a compromise that suits us both.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: Mind you, we currently have an apartment where there is
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: a lease until August, and it makes no sense, no
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: sense to pay rent into places. Please help us with this, sincerely,
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: Major dilemma, Dear, Major dilemma. This is a major dilemma because, um,
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: in order for this marriage to work, you guys do
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: need to be together. You know, it seems to me
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: your husband would want to move in the better part
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: of the city where you and the kids would be safe, happy,
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: and the kids well educated. He doesn't even own the
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: home where he lives the apartment, while you guys don't
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: own you know, you don't own that either. Um, you
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: at least wouldn't be living under your grandpa your grandparents rule,
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: and you won't lose your deposit okay, which money is
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: kind of tight right now, so you seem to be
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: really concerned about that. Uh. You don't give us any
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: information as to why he's so adamant about living there though,
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: because the rent isn't even free. So, UM, I don't
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: really think he wants to get back together right now
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: because he's not doing what it takes. And that means,
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: you know, making you happy, moving into a safe, secure
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: home or apartment of your own. Uh, you know, the
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: saying happy wife, happy life. Um. In order for you
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: guys to um compromise or to come to a compromise,
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: you have to meet each other halfway. You guys aren't
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: doing that. You're you're at an impass. You refuse to move,
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: he's refusing to move. So until you, guys, you know,
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: give on that. And I think it should be the
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: husband at this point, just giving your letter. You know,
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: it's safer and and the kids have to go to
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: a good school. I think he should move into your apartment. Steve,
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: how much time I got. You don't have a lot
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: of time right now. You can want to come back.
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: I see something totally different. I see something totally different.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: I agree with what you said, though, Sherley, I really do,
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: but I see some more stuff in this letter that's
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: going on. I'm gonna point out some couple of things
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: that I saw when you were reading it, and uh, okay, hey, listen.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: The letter is. If you want to comment on the letter,
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: it's supposted, go to Steve Harvey dot com click on
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letter. You can also email us your Strawberry
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: Letter issues on the website. We'll be back with Steve's
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: answer right after this twelve after you're listening to Steve
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, come on, Steve with part
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: two of your response to today's letter. Major Dilemma. Good morning,
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: Steve Harving crew. I'm right because I have a major
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: dilemma my husband. I've been together for eleven years and
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: have two children. We are currently separated and been going
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: through some things for the last few years. We've been
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: on again, off again. We can't seem to get along
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: and there's a lack of communication. We've been through everything
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: except pregnancies outside the marriage on both parts. At the
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: present time, we live in two separate households and have
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: been separated since January. We recently talked to know that
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: we love each other and want to be together. We
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: also know we need help getting past some of our issues.
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: We decided that we want to be back together. But
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: now the problem is a living range. When he currently
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: lives in the house his grandparents owned. I live in
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: the apartment we started a one year lease on in September.
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: He wants to move into the house. I, however, do not.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: The reason I refused to is be cause of the
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: location of the house is not in the greatest part
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: of the city, and the outbreak of violence in this
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: area of town is outstanding. I am not too crazy
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: about the house, and the school is in the area,
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: and the schools in the area sucked to say the least.
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: Our children are currently in the great school district and
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: the environment is not overcome with violence here and I
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: both live within the city where the house is, and
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: we hated it and that's why we moved. So now
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: he wants to live in the house and I refuse to.
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: I would much rather keep our children in the environment
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: there in and get a home of our own. I
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: don't know what it means when he says he's DNS.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: Now this has kept us from getting back together, So
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: what should we do? We have no money to move
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: and to put our boys in better schools where the
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: house is located. House needs repairs which at this time
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: we cannot afford. So what advice do you have for us?
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: How can we get past this reaching a compromise that
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: suits us both? Mind you, we currently have an apartment
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: where the least is until August, and it makes no
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: sense to pay rent in to places. Please help us
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: with this, sincerely, major dilemma. First of all, you have
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: the major dilemma placed in the wrong area. Your major dilemma,
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: you claim, is you don't want to pay rent in
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: two places. He refuses to move into the apartment, you
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: refuse to move into the house. That's not your major dilemma.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: Your major dilemma is the very reason that y'all ain't
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: together in the first place. Y'all two don't get along,
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: and you two have a lack of communication, and you're
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: demonstrating the same thing that you say broke you up.
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: You can't seem to get along and there's a lack
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: of communication. This again is another example of you all's
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: lack of communication. It is a lack of understanding and
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: is the unwillingness on either one of your part to compromise. Now,
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: Shirley's right, it seems like the smart move would be
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: for the guy to move into the apartment so the
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: kids could keep going to the to the best school system.
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: But he willing to do that, and then you ain't
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: willing to move. You all have a major dilemma, and
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: you all still have a communication problem. Now you're saying
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: the letter that we've gone through everything except pregnancies outside
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: the marriage parentheses on both parts. This means that both
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: of y'all have cheated. That's what that means. On both parts.
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: That means both of y'all been cheating. That's the code
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: that I see in there, because I've never heard that before.
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: We've been through everything except pregnancies outside the marriage parentheses
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: on both parts. But you all need to work on,
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: really is your basic selves and your marriage skills, because
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: right now y'all don't seem to have none. You want
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: what you want and he wont what he want, and
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: I ain't neither one of y'all willing to give in.
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: Now you don't wrote this letter in and your letter
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: really ain't for a compromise. Your letter is really how
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: do you convince this man to move back into this department?
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: Because nothing you said about moving into the grandmama's house
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: is gonna work for you. But you are convinced that
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: staying in the one year at least apartment will work
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: for you and the kids. Now seems in the letter
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: like Laric surely said that this would be the best
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: thing to do. But guess what, he ain't trying to
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: hear that, and you ain't trying to move. Thus you
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: have a lack of communication. And now what is y'all's
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: marriage gonna be built on when you get back together?
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: What y'all gonna do? See, y'all need to work on
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: that part of it right now. Y'all can't even agree
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: when you separate it, and you can't agree when you married.
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: So now when you're gonna get back together and do what?
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: Disagree some more? See, your major dilemma ain't where you're
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: gonna live. Your major dilemma is really how you all
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: can live together? That's your major dilemma. How you all,
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: how your man don't see these kids needs, How you
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: don't see your man's needs. How both of y'all don't
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: see anybody's needs. And this is a ridiculous statement that
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: you're making to me. Both of your an impasse, you know,
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: and you know. So what advice do you have for us?
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: Get yourselves together? Why do y'all even want to be together?
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: There's nothing. There's nothing in this letter that says you
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: two people should be together. Nothing you wrote, nothing in it.
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: All you said was this one line in there is
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: that we love each other and we want to be together. Okay,
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: I can't, I swear to you, I can't tell. And
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: so when I read a letter like this, man, I
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: just go wow. The only thing that eleven years y'all
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: went through so much stuff. Now you can't afford to move.
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: You ain't got the money for repairs, You ain't got
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: the money for two rents. Yeah, and she uses too,
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: and so does he to move? So what you want
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: meet and surely to say, we don't know how to
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: get you all together? All right, See, we gotta go.
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: Please email us or Instagram. That's your thoughts on today's
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: strawberry letter at My Girls Shirley and please don't forget

- 1:09:35Speaker 1: suggest that men reach their peak of being boring around
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: the age of thirty nine, and then men are most

- 1:11:26Speaker 1: yourself to haters than a limeris you got him? You

- 1:11:57Speaker 1: it again. Okay, this is you know, we got the
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: Steve Show right there right there. The fact that he
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: has to do it again is the reason why you

- 1:12:11Speaker 1: on it because you have to do. Here we go.
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: I'm not gonna to all of those who just like

- 1:18:03Speaker 1: This is according to Vogue. Now. Tianna Taylor put personality
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: in the Philip Pline Spring Collection two thousand eighteen fashion show.
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: Tianna Taylor has the body, Philip Line has the fashions. Yeah,
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: her body, her body, man. She brought the crowd to
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: its feet with her mesmerizing interpretation of a runway strut.
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: Rihanna didn't walk into New York Fashion Week. She rode
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: through it. Okay literally, Rihanna. You know she's such a fashionista.
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: She kicked off her fancy Puma two thousand eighteen spring
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: summer collection on Sunday with motocross bicycles flying high in
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: the air, ascending above a dreamy display of powder pink
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: Mountains and sand Rihanna rode on the back of the
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: bike in true rock star form with one hand displaying
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: the sign of the Horns and the tongue sticking out. Steve,
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: she had that, see that. I saw that. Yeah, you're
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: looking at it. It's really cool. And Steve, your daughter
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: Laurie was there. She looked beautiful. I saw her on
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: social media. Did the same. Tiana and her friends. She
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: did it. Philip, huh whatever. She all wore some of
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: his clothes she was picked to wear. So she's got
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: a little thing she's doing. You know, she's doing well. Yeah, congratulations. Yeah.
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: So let's get some fall fashion tips from from you,
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: Steve and then Jay of course, because you used to
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: be a tailor, so I want to hear from it.
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: He couldn't make pockets though, Well, what do you want
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: to know first of all? Well, like fashion tips for men,
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: like what are some fall colors and how our suits ties?
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: You know you're into fashion colors are They're going a
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: little bit more mutic this year for men, you know,
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: but men we don't have a wide range of things.
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: There's nowhere near the variety of what women do. So
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: you know your more muted colors. Tone on tone is
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: a very big right now. I always go with a
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: pop up color. I think a pop up color throws
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: you a little separately. But a lot of black on
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: black on black, gray on gray, blue or blue. You
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. It's nice, that's always appropriate. You
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: know what I had on that to fight just beginning,
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: you know, call that ice ice funk burger. Now that's
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: ice funk Bergen. And then you come on and then
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: on death jam, I will uh uh pimp pimp teeth,
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: pimp tee teeth. Turk course, I want to pimp turk Coorse.
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: Uh that in my head on as a turk Corse
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: in white and gray shirt and you know, just splash
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: of white like a spider wheel coming through it. So
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: you know, for me, there's always that. I recommend me
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: and uh, step up your game this year. Every man
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: should have a couple of jackets in his wardrobe. Please
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: don't overlook that, fellas just ironing your shirt putting it
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: on with some pants is oftentimes not enough. I know
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: they may be dressing up to you, but your lady
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: would really appreciate it if you had a jacket on
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: occasionally so just you should have two jackets in your
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: or draws. Yeah, I just have one suggestion, Stephen. We
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: wore these styles. It's just time to put the long
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: ash jacket with all the buttons on it away. I
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: have to agree with the wide leg why, yeah, I
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: have to take this because yeah, I started with the
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: square tone the little Saturdaynight lie though he's still wearing
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: them all. Yeah, I had bad responsive. You got more
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: than seven buttons on your jacket is yeah, it was
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: so mean. As much as I dread to look at
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: before they shoulder up, man, you're tearing upon pants were
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: so wide it was fitting me. But you know, I
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: just really it's those days are gone. I'm sorry I
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: introduced that. If you got a vet in the back
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: of your jacket and it's a sport coat, it really
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: need to get it closed up. If you can cut
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: off the bottom of your jacket and make another jack
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: yeah yeah, yeah yeah. Or if you can take your
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: suit coat and put a fur coal on it and
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: put a fur collar on, it looks like a winner coach.
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: And so that is true. So fellas, I hate to
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: tell you that, but those days are done. I've been
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: doing that for some years. Now you know all the pockets.
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: You don't need four pockets, and that that's a t suit.
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: Tell you did that on the shoulder. Where's your pocket going?
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: I see it a lot on family feel. They come
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: to pay homage to me. Yeah, and just got one
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: of you. I wore his fight. I got my my
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: Steve Harvey. Sup. We don't make those anymore. That we
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: haven't made that suit for years. And I still wear
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: white the pels, but it's on the trim cut suit.
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: I like the tom Forward flag the suit. Uh Warehouse
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: has great suits. Burlington has great colds has great where
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: you can get a really really good look for you
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: wear a narrow leg now yeah yeah, not so skinny, skinny,
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: but yeah narrow your mind mind cut. What I had
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: on last night was narrow, you know, not with cups,
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: with cups ankle that's yeah, that's like a sock fells.
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: If you go wear skinny jeans, captive, be skinny. That's
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: room number one. You can't be fat nowhere. You can't
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: have a good and have on skinny jeans because now
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: you look like an ice cream cone. You got on
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: both your knees to put your pants on. You look
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: like a waffle cone or spear tipped waffle code and
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: big guys, big guys, you know that jacket is too tight.
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: Sometimes when that button is crying, it's too tight. Okay, okay,
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: thank you guys for these fashion tips. We have to go.
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: We'll be back nine. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right. They've crossed party lines to come together.
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: Five living US presidents have joined forces to raise money
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: for Hurricane Harvey victims. The campaign is called One America Appeal.
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: Ex President George W. Bush or red in and of
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: Dallas says in the p s A people are herding
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: down here, but as one text and put it, uh,
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: we've got more love in Texas than water as a country.
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: As the country is going through one of the most
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: divisive periods in history, the campaign is a rare showing
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: of unity in US politics. Donald Trump, who has frequently
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: criticized his predecessors, even endorsed the effort with what Else
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: a tweet Trump told Thursday night, he wrote, I'm proud
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: to stand with presidents for hashtag One America Appeal. Well, Steve,
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: this is the kind of unity we need to make
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: a America great again. Maybe Trump is changing his tune.
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: He shocked Republicans the other day when he signed it
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: with the Democrats on a temporary fix for the debt ceiling.
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: The president also thanked FEMA and the U. S. Coast
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: Guard for their amazing work. Right in the middle of
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: the storm, he is calling for the storm. He's calling
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: the storm a big monster. You know that, as everyone is.
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: He's adding that it's the largest storm to hit Florida
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: in years. Trump's as he's not concerned about the costs,
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: but rather it's focusing on saving lives. So there you go.
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: You have a really great speech for nine eleven. You know,
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: I was listening to the speech of nine eleven. I
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: watched he has to work on his out loud reading. Yeah,
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: he's he's really got to sit in the room and
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: practice reading the telephone. Why do you say that because
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: he can't do a good He doesn't do a good
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: job of that. You know. He sounds so scripted and
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: read and you know, because when he's being Donald Trump,
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: you know, and even though that's not good sometimes that sometimes,
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: you know, but when he's just reading, it just sounds
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: so Donald Trump. He's saying stuff he didn't want to say. Anyway.
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: Really sounds like like, you know, he's telling these stories
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: of courage, but he didn't really know the story himself. Yeah,
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: it doesn't sound like it's from his heart. No, man,
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: he has to he has to study this stuff. And
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: if you read it four or five times in front
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: of the mirror, then you can own it. He's got
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: to do that. Man, he's walking out there cold trying
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: to read these things. You know, this guy and he
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: was listen to just what he did. Uh, this guy
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: is such a hero, right, you know, he runs into
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: this building, he's in waste water and he's hearing voices
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: and he runs back and he gets a voice, and
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: then he goes back in because he continues to hear
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: the voices. I mean, this guy, he's great, right, and
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: he's walking through the and I'm going, dude, dude, get
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: your speech and read it on the plane three four
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: times so you can own this stuff, man, because I
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: don't like criticizing the body for everything. Come on, man.
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: But it was good what he was saying, though he's
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: just his delivery words are great, but he doesn't read
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: teleprompter will at all. Many and coming from and coming
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: after Mamma and Obama was so great and Clinton was
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: so great at you know, but look, man, they read
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: the teleprompter, I know, the peller prompters glass. That's where
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: they can look right and left like they look at people.
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: I got that. Those words in the glass. We all
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: know what that is. But it's okay. But they should
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: sound like they're your words. Yeah, yeah, well extraordinary. It's
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: gonna be very extraordinary, folks, really big league, big legally
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: big things are gonna happen, great things. Yeah, so's he's
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: done the past couple of things that's been right, but
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: you know, as soon as just you that's one two yeah, yeah, right, yeah,
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: this is in the first quarter. The chance of him
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: coming back is low. All right, we'll be back right
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to Steve harpeople show, all right,
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: Steve when uh the deaf jam thing. I'm still thinking
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: about that. J Anthony Brown's clip. Man, they showed this
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: food doing this activator for Jerry Carroll curting it out.
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: The reaction in the theater was nuts. The reaction to
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: the crowd that was watching it was mo nuts. They
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: was holly, man, They was holly. J Anthy Brown, you
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: should have been the man. You would have really felt
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: good about what you had done, man, because Death JamMan
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: was such a tribute to so many people. Man, I
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: know it changed your life. Didn't it change your life? Dog?
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: You know Mitch Green Baby? It was crazy for man,
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: it was it was stupid. Did what the first year
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: of comics that came up with death Yeam? It was unbelieved.
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: He man, let me tell you what I did. I
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: was able to go back to comedy clubs that I
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: was making fifteen hundred a weekend, and Blanca started clocking
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: some dollars. I started doing. Yeah, I started doing door deals.
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: But see the Deaf Jam Tour came out, and back then,
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: now this is back then, these guys was getting seventy
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: five hundred a night to perform. Now I was out
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: of the question back then, seven thousand, five hundred night
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: to perform on the Death Jam Tool. I never did
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: the Death Jam Tool because I never did the Deaf
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: Jam Tool because I didn't want to, because I wanted
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: to go back to the comedy clubs with my Deaf
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: Jam tape. And that got me in all the clubs.
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: And then black started coming out to comedy clubs in
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: record numbers, and so now I was instead of doing
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: the seventy a night, I was doing door deal. So
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: I was doing ten shows a weekend, eleven shows. I've
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: done thirteen shows from Thursday to Sunday night. Always used
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: to do three shows at night. But I was doing
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: dough deals because I wanted to hustle harder, so I
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: would perform more. But a man see while he works out,
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: men were getting SENI five the night. Yeah, but I'm
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: taking home thirty for the weekend. I'm gonna say to
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: this once and I said again. Had not been for
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: black comedy to come along with Deaf Jam, some of
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: these comedy clubs and you know who you are, y'all
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: would be out of business today to day, out of business.
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: I got news for you out A lot of white
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: clubs would be out of business out because black man
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: coming out in such droves. Even the audience, it was
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: an audience that didn't even average, changed our lives too,
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: That's what I'm trying to tell you. You It changed
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: your lives. But we, as you know, as the audience
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: and people watching Calm, were planning our lives around def Jam.
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: On Friday nights at eleven clock, I'm gonna find of
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: the TV at fourteen, Yes, doing the jokes Monday morning,
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: so I get to school. We had never seen anything
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: like it. You've never seen black comics in the raw,
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: in the element. You've never You've never seen that until
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: deaf Jam came along. Where did these black comedians go from?
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: And and deaf Jam got rid of people. They got
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: rid of a lot of comics. They went through a
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: lot because if you wasn't good man, they compared. Martin
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: was there every night. So now you come out their
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: hair stuff and if you want to. Martin was there
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: every night. He saw it up. And so you know
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: when you didn't do good Martin coming Martin, Martin coming
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: back out of here. Man and this dude right here
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: had his job to do and he was to get
- 1:32:44Speaker 1: laught and he got it. Helped Martin when people bombed
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: it really did. All right, we'll be back. We have more.
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: We'll be back to close out the show with just
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: one more thing. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show, start

- 1:33:08Speaker 1: we are prepared to help in any way we can
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: Beyonce is gonna be there, Blake Shelton, Barbara Streisan and

- 1:33:35Speaker 1: they're gonna do. Watch, watch, just to see, uh, you know,
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: how much money they're going to raise and everything. I'm
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: just going to donate, you know, I'm gonna donate, you
