- 2:05Speaker 1: good morning everybody you're listening to the voice, Come on
- 2:09Speaker 1: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:12Speaker 1: radio show? How good is God? Man? Sometimes I just
- 2:17Speaker 1: I don't know. I just trip on it. Sometimes I
- 2:20Speaker 1: think of all of all the mistakes I've made, man,
- 2:23Speaker 1: all the bad decisions I came up with. Boy, I
- 2:26Speaker 1: didn't came up with a truckload of them, y'all for real.
- 2:29Speaker 1: And it's grace and mercy Man just keeps allowing me
- 2:34Speaker 1: to exist and allows you to exist. To see, if
- 2:36Speaker 1: you're listening, if you can hear me, then you know
- 2:39Speaker 1: you've been allowed to exist also, and you know you
- 2:43Speaker 1: you've been through grace and mercy are allowed to still
- 2:46Speaker 1: be here in spite of uh, you know, um, a
- 2:51Speaker 1: lot of the lot of decisions we may cause us
- 2:54Speaker 1: to be in the predicaments. Win. I think we all
- 2:57Speaker 1: are dult enough to realize that, or I would hope so. Anyway, Uh,
- 3:01Speaker 1: you know, it's amazing when you meet people who when
- 3:05Speaker 1: every time something wrong with them is always somebody else's fault.
- 3:08Speaker 1: They did this to me, or they did that to me,
- 3:11Speaker 1: or somebody said this and this caused this, and I
- 3:14Speaker 1: don't know why, I can't get nobody I can trust
- 3:16Speaker 1: and I don't know why. Uh. You know, if you
- 3:19Speaker 1: peel back the banana, oftentimes, really you can always find
- 3:24Speaker 1: a role that you had in every situation. Now, I'm
- 3:27Speaker 1: not saying that they are not things that are per
- 3:30Speaker 1: chance to come upon you, because that's some evil people
- 3:33Speaker 1: out there to just do stuff toill you ain't done nothing.
- 3:35Speaker 1: I ain't talking about that. I'm talking about if you
- 3:39Speaker 1: really peel back to banana, we've made decisions. Oftentimes they
- 3:43Speaker 1: get us in the predicament. You know, if you're in
- 3:46Speaker 1: a bad relationship, you know, remember somewhere in the beginning,
- 3:49Speaker 1: you you pick that person, so you know you do
- 3:52Speaker 1: have to remember that part of it, your role in
- 3:54Speaker 1: Why why Lord, you keep sending these people my way?
- 3:57Speaker 1: Excuse me, excuse me. God didn't send nobody your way.
- 4:04Speaker 1: Try to remember you picked him. Just just just try
- 4:07Speaker 1: to remember that part and so in, in, in, in,
- 4:12Speaker 1: in owning up to your end of the deal. Here's
- 4:15Speaker 1: what helped me the most in my life, with my mistakes,
- 4:19Speaker 1: my errors, my flaws, my failures. This is what helped
- 4:24Speaker 1: me the most. It's it's the fact that God is forgiving,
- 4:31Speaker 1: and God is a god of second, third, fourth, fifth,
- 4:34Speaker 1: six chances. I mean, he'll give you chance after chance.
- 4:38Speaker 1: If God was God just gave you one chance, we'd
- 4:41Speaker 1: all be sunk. If he just gave you two times
- 4:43Speaker 1: to get it wrong, we'd all be sunk, all of us.
- 4:47Speaker 1: But He is a He is a forgiving god on
- 4:50Speaker 1: so many levels, a thousand times, one thousand times of thousands.
- 4:55Speaker 1: If it's necessary, he'll forgive you. Now, you know. Now,
- 5:02Speaker 1: there's also some consequences with our actions that should cause
- 5:06Speaker 1: us to straighten up and not have to be forgiven
- 5:09Speaker 1: for the same thing ten thousand times. Now, I mean,
- 5:12Speaker 1: come on, you know you you if if you know,
- 5:16Speaker 1: if you got had to get set down for a
- 5:18Speaker 1: major major felony or major major crime, and you gotta
- 5:22Speaker 1: sit down for a do some time. That time is
- 5:25Speaker 1: supposed to give you a moment of pause where when
- 5:27Speaker 1: you get out, you don't do that one again. You know,
- 5:31Speaker 1: you know, something like that. So I'm not talking about
- 5:33Speaker 1: the extreme, but I'm just talking about, you know, the
- 5:35Speaker 1: mistakes and errors that we make in life. I think
- 5:38Speaker 1: His grace and mercy, the way that He forgives us
- 5:40Speaker 1: allows us to get back up here is the thing
- 5:44Speaker 1: that has really really helped me. If you don't let
- 5:48Speaker 1: your mistakes bog you down, if you don't let your sins,
- 5:55Speaker 1: your mistakes, your errors, your slip ups, your mess ups,
- 6:00Speaker 1: if you don't let it break you down, if you
- 6:02Speaker 1: don't let it define you, and if you don't let
- 6:06Speaker 1: it stop you, that's the greatest gift, one of the
- 6:09Speaker 1: greatest gifts you can get from God. That is not
- 6:13Speaker 1: allowing all of your mistakes to stop you from forward progress,
- 6:18Speaker 1: to bog you down, to make you lay there all. Well,
- 6:20Speaker 1: I guess that if I did that, I guess I
- 6:23Speaker 1: must not be no good. Listen, we didn't all done
- 6:26Speaker 1: that some form of that see sin and sin in
- 6:30Speaker 1: God's eyes. That's the cool thing, you know, So you
- 6:33Speaker 1: know where at least I ain't there, so I ain't
- 6:35Speaker 1: that type of person. Hey they did this? Hey, hey man,
- 6:38Speaker 1: seeing and seeing the God. You know, we all we
- 6:40Speaker 1: all fall short somewhere alund along the line. But you
- 6:44Speaker 1: can't let it bog you down to the point where
- 6:47Speaker 1: it stops you or it defined you. Because the reason
- 6:52Speaker 1: that the mistakes can't define you is because we are
- 6:54Speaker 1: all a work in progress, and that we all have
- 6:57Speaker 1: made mistakes, but we all learned from the mistakes, and
- 7:01Speaker 1: the mistakes and the failures are often very valuable gained
- 7:04Speaker 1: experiences along the way, and that's what they for. You know, Look,
- 7:09Speaker 1: when you're a little baby and you start learning how
- 7:11Speaker 1: to walk, when you first let go of that coffee table,
- 7:13Speaker 1: you ain't gonna make it all the way over there.
- 7:16Speaker 1: You're gonna fall, sit down, and then you're just gonna
- 7:18Speaker 1: crawl on over there. Well, and then after a while,
- 7:22Speaker 1: you know, somebody get on the other end and they
- 7:24Speaker 1: call you, and you take a couple of steps and
- 7:27Speaker 1: you almost get there, and your fall and then you
- 7:29Speaker 1: crawl the rest of the way. Well, if the fact
- 7:32Speaker 1: that you let go of the coffee table as a baby,
- 7:35Speaker 1: and you fail. If you if that's what defined you,
- 7:38Speaker 1: we'd all be crawling today. But that didn't define you.
- 7:43Speaker 1: That was a valuable learned gained experience alone the way
- 7:46Speaker 1: to taught you this. And life is full of those falls.
- 7:50Speaker 1: Now they become a lot more severe at the older
- 7:53Speaker 1: you get, they become a lot more They come with
- 7:56Speaker 1: a lot more consequences the older you get. But it's
- 7:59Speaker 1: the fall. All is the same. It's still the fault.
- 8:01Speaker 1: You fail. You fail, and and and and the thing
- 8:05Speaker 1: of it is that that allows you to get back
- 8:08Speaker 1: up as God is forgiving and if you don't, if
- 8:11Speaker 1: you take accept the forgiveness, you can move on. What
- 8:15Speaker 1: a lot of people do and what they think when
- 8:17Speaker 1: I'm trying to get to the day is when you
- 8:20Speaker 1: make a mistake and and you ask God for forgiveness
- 8:24Speaker 1: and he forgives you. You don't have to allow other
- 8:27Speaker 1: people to bog you down with that mistake. Every time
- 8:31Speaker 1: they see you, they bring it up. They want to
- 8:34Speaker 1: hold you accountable to your flaws and your mistakes. No no, no, no,
- 8:37Speaker 1: no no no no no no. You have got to
- 8:40Speaker 1: let it go. If God has forgiven you, but some
- 8:43Speaker 1: people won't, then you're maybe you'll just move away from them. People, see,
- 8:47Speaker 1: because it's people if if you if you let people
- 8:50Speaker 1: define you by a mistake you made, that's their way
- 8:53Speaker 1: of not allowing you to move on, not allowing you
- 8:56Speaker 1: to say you've grown from that, or not allowing you
- 8:59Speaker 1: to say, hey, well that change me. That's the thing
- 9:01Speaker 1: in my life that taught me the lesson I needed
- 9:04Speaker 1: to learn. I got people trying to beat me up
- 9:06Speaker 1: about my past all the time. I refuse to allow
- 9:09Speaker 1: that to happen. Because if God has forgiven me for
- 9:12Speaker 1: my mistake, for my sins, for my flaws, then then
- 9:18Speaker 1: who are they? Who are they to keep They're gonna
- 9:22Speaker 1: they're gonna keep writing about it. No, no, no, no, man,
- 9:24Speaker 1: you can go ahead and write about it, but they
- 9:26Speaker 1: ain't got nothing to do with me. Congratulations, great story.
- 9:29Speaker 1: And you gotta understand that the same way. And then
- 9:32Speaker 1: see the second part of it is the reason that
- 9:36Speaker 1: I'm able to move on is when somebody strikes me,
- 9:40Speaker 1: somebody do dirt on me, I've learned to forgive them
- 9:44Speaker 1: a lot faster now so so so I can be forgiven.
- 9:48Speaker 1: You know, there's a line in the Lord's prayer that says, UH,
- 9:52Speaker 1: forgive us our trust passes, as we forgive those a
- 9:55Speaker 1: trust pass against us. Or some some people say forgive
- 9:59Speaker 1: us our debt, as we forgive our debtors. That I've
- 10:03Speaker 1: had it both ways, but my my favorite is forgive
- 10:06Speaker 1: us our trustpasses, as we forgive those who trust passed
- 10:09Speaker 1: against us. So that means when I go to God,
- 10:13Speaker 1: I am asking God to forgive my trestpasses. Let's just
- 10:17Speaker 1: say you don't quite understand what that said. Trespass. You
- 10:20Speaker 1: see a sign up and say, don't trustpass. I mean,
- 10:23Speaker 1: don't don't come over here, don't go pass this tree
- 10:26Speaker 1: where you see this signing, don't come across this fist,
- 10:29Speaker 1: don't don't come inside this gate, no trestpassing. Do not
- 10:34Speaker 1: cross this barrier, this physical barrier that you see up. Well,
- 10:40Speaker 1: everybody crosses the line in their life. Well, when you
- 10:43Speaker 1: cross the line, you trespassed. Now you what you're asking
- 10:48Speaker 1: God to do is forgive you when you trespass, when
- 10:52Speaker 1: you cross the line, when you go outside the morality clause,
- 10:56Speaker 1: When when you don't, when you commit us it, when
- 10:58Speaker 1: you do something wrong the somebody, when you hurt somebody's feeling.
- 11:02Speaker 1: You're asking God to forgive you, But then the prayer
- 11:05Speaker 1: is to forgive us. Our trust passes as we forgive
- 11:08Speaker 1: those who trust passed against us. So when somebody come
- 11:11Speaker 1: to you and say, hey, man, I'm sorry, I did
- 11:15Speaker 1: you wrong, I mean, man, we got to let out.
- 11:19Speaker 1: We gotta take our knee off their neck, and we
- 11:22Speaker 1: gotta let them roll because guess what, you're gonna trustpass
- 11:26Speaker 1: and you're gonna need forgiveness, And they go hand in hand.
- 11:29Speaker 1: A lot of people are bogged down in their life
- 11:32Speaker 1: because they won't. They won't. You won't get your knee
- 11:35Speaker 1: up somebody else's neck. So now you're constantly feeling the
- 11:39Speaker 1: pressure of your mistakes. Ain't nobody forgiving you because guess what,
- 11:43Speaker 1: you don't forgive nobody. See that thing go both ways.
- 11:46Speaker 1: You know, if you want people's knee up off your neck,
- 11:48Speaker 1: you gotta get your knee up off more people's necks.
- 11:51Speaker 1: So I've learned to forgive people a lot quicker man,
- 11:54Speaker 1: and that might help you down in your quest to
- 11:57Speaker 1: get up and move on, to let somebody else get
- 12:00Speaker 1: it up and move on. Every time you see him.
- 12:02Speaker 1: You ain't got to hate on him every time you
- 12:04Speaker 1: see him. It ain't got to bring no rise up
- 12:06Speaker 1: in your spirit. Hey man, I forgive you. Let it
- 12:08Speaker 1: go down me. We got to be friends and hang out.
- 12:10Speaker 1: But I forgive you. I don't. I don't have reaction
- 12:13Speaker 1: to you no more. That might help too. All right,
- 12:18Speaker 1: you're listening, ladies and gentlemen. You are listening to the
- 12:27Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Love Always in Color, brought to

- 13:15Speaker 1: born on Earth. Ladies and gentlemen, this is as earlier

- 13:43Speaker 1: What a weekend, huh um. I've actually worked the whole weekend,
- 13:49Speaker 1: so yeah, that's what I mean. Yeah, there was pick weekend,
- 13:55Speaker 1: a lot of work, things of that nature. But look
- 13:59Speaker 1: it's you got work a man time. I was looking
- 14:04Speaker 1: for work, So we'll just go with it. I'm gonna
- 14:07Speaker 1: go with work, Yeah, because because I won't work and
- 14:11Speaker 1: ain't none that that that's yeah, yeah yeah, And you've
- 14:17Speaker 1: got a lot of work, so that's cool. So what
- 14:21Speaker 1: you do this weekend? We will never ask you what
- 14:23Speaker 1: you do? Yeah? You do? You asked me? Okay, well
- 14:28Speaker 1: we asked. I went to home depot get something for
- 14:33Speaker 1: the house? What what? What's this? Isn't you sure people
- 14:42Speaker 1: with your friend nails and heels? What? Well? Um, okay,
- 14:50Speaker 1: I'm looking for these um shelves. Um well, I have shelves,
- 14:54Speaker 1: but I'm looking for these particular like screws to go
- 14:57Speaker 1: in them. You needed a certain type of crews, so
- 15:00Speaker 1: I was looking for those. I did not find them.
- 15:03Speaker 1: You need a heck screw? Did you need a butterfly screw?
- 15:08Speaker 1: Is the butterfly the one that spreads out in the
- 15:10Speaker 1: wall that I think? That's the one I needed. That's
- 15:14Speaker 1: the butterfly and it has a name. I didn't know that.
- 15:17Speaker 1: I just when you said butterfly thought of wings. Well, yeah,
- 15:21Speaker 1: that's what they do because when you push it into
- 15:23Speaker 1: the wall, then wants to get on the other side
- 15:25Speaker 1: of the sheet rock. The two things pop out. Oh
- 15:29Speaker 1: and there's your resistance called butterfly screws. Okay, well, thank you.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Now I can go in there and say, excuse me,
- 15:36Speaker 1: where the butterfly screws? Yeah, and they'll know exactly what
- 15:39Speaker 1: you're talking about. And shelving and everything. I've done all
- 15:42Speaker 1: this in my life. Ain't seen a butterfly screw in years,
- 15:47Speaker 1: but they're still here. Yeah. I don't like using them
- 15:51Speaker 1: personally because I always end up making a whole little
- 15:55Speaker 1: bit too big. Oh to get the fat part of
- 15:59Speaker 1: the butterfly screw in the wall. Yeah, thank you. No,
- 16:06Speaker 1: that was an education. No, I'm not doing it. I
- 16:08Speaker 1: just offered to go get him. Okay, mm hmm. Well
- 16:14Speaker 1: how's everybody else do with junior? How is the weekend?
- 16:16Speaker 1: Weekend was great? Huh? Say and play nephew came in town.
- 16:22Speaker 1: It was a birthday taking to dinner a right, you know,
- 16:25Speaker 1: all right, that's good, that's good. Call much weekend? Yes,
- 16:29Speaker 1: I was in New Orleans this weekend. I thought I

- 16:38Speaker 1: girl gotta ring championship ring alright had to ring on
- 16:45Speaker 1: yes and heard division I'm so proud of her, that
- 16:49Speaker 1: girl I saw her Ring Instagram proud mommy moment. There's
- 16:57Speaker 1: good congratulation Tommy. Time ain't happened this weekend? No, no,
- 17:03Speaker 1: really New Orleans though, huh you were in New Orleans
- 17:07Speaker 1: to m M. You ain't seen franchise. I didn't see him. No,

- 17:39Speaker 1: did you do this week? Yeah? No, no, what did
- 17:42Speaker 1: you say? No? No, no, what did you get ready
- 17:45Speaker 1: to say? Sir? I thought I heard Tommy mentioned franchise again.
- 17:49Speaker 1: Yeah that's what I heard. Yeah, I've been looking at franchise.
- 17:55Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah yeah. It's a spot down there like
- 17:59Speaker 1: I want you to main the main restaurant, the original restaurant.
- 18:03Speaker 1: Oh the headquarters. Yeah, cheers, Hello, says okay, that wasn't it?
- 18:14Speaker 1: What I think? What did you do in your research? Now?
- 18:17Speaker 1: I said, chears hell a, that's what it used to be,
- 18:21Speaker 1: used to be open down. I didn't know it was
- 18:23Speaker 1: what was doing? Which one was this one's called Nola,
- 18:29Speaker 1: you know l A. Yeah, the pretty good. Well, Steve,
- 18:37Speaker 1: aren't you proud of your nephew though, because he is
- 18:39Speaker 1: doing his research? Now that's good. You got he running
- 18:44Speaker 1: the call it. Yeah. Did you go to the French
- 18:48Speaker 1: Courter Festival? Right? You passed by? Uh huh. But I'm
- 18:55Speaker 1: just trying to figure out, Like Steve said, you can't
- 18:56Speaker 1: text me and tell him using you more. I'm just saying,
- 19:00Speaker 1: mm hmm, what you did you? How did you get there?
- 19:05Speaker 1: How did you get to New Orleans? Drove? What did
- 19:08Speaker 1: you drive? Because you're here today, we made it to
- 19:15Speaker 1: work which car? Which car you drive? Come on, get
- 19:20Speaker 1: to it. I drove the road. What you drove? A
- 19:26Speaker 1: Rose Royce to New Orders, been everywhere? I don't work out.
- 19:33Speaker 1: Come on hand rich. We wanted to write a luxury right,
- 19:44Speaker 1: I see it. You wanted to drive in luxury rich car.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Just want to stop the crowning you go, coming up,
- 20:02Speaker 1: coming up. It's funny you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 20:10Speaker 1: You all right, Steve, you said you wanted to talk
- 20:13Speaker 1: about Russell Restpuk when we come back Westbrook. This boy
- 20:18Speaker 1: for the Oklahoma thunder YO explain it to you. You
- 20:34Speaker 1: wanted to talk about Russell you know you wanted to
- 20:37Speaker 1: talk about Russell west Just go on, no, go on,
- 20:45Speaker 1: I just want no wind. I want to say to
- 20:49Speaker 1: Russell Westbrook, the starting guard for the Oklahoma Thunder who
- 20:57Speaker 1: broke a record yesterday for the most triple doubles in
- 21:01Speaker 1: the season. I actually was a basketball fan when Oscar
- 21:06Speaker 1: Robinson set the record. I was basketball fan then. But
- 21:11Speaker 1: this dude right here, man, what what what what Russell
- 21:16Speaker 1: Westbrook is doing in in in uh basketball today? It's
- 21:25Speaker 1: unheard of. A triple double, Shirley is when you score
- 21:30Speaker 1: double figures in three categories, points, scored, assist, meaning your
- 21:38Speaker 1: direct past to a teammate results in a basket. That's
- 21:44Speaker 1: called and assist. And then the other one is rebounds.
- 21:50Speaker 1: So when you play a game and you scored ten
- 21:54Speaker 1: points or more, ten or more rebounds, ten or more assist,
- 22:01Speaker 1: that's called a triple double. That is about as well
- 22:05Speaker 1: rounded a basketball as you can play. Not only are
- 22:08Speaker 1: you scoring, but you you snatch your rebounds, and you're
- 22:12Speaker 1: causing other points to occur. So that's what a triple
- 22:15Speaker 1: double issue. Okay, thank you, I didn't know that. Russ
- 22:20Speaker 1: Russell Westbrook has forty two of those in a season.
- 22:29Speaker 1: That's over half the games you play. You're performing at
- 22:35Speaker 1: that level. This dude, right now, right now, it's one
- 22:43Speaker 1: of the greatest basketball players of all time. Wow, and
- 22:49Speaker 1: you have to say that, Yeah, he is one of
- 22:55Speaker 1: the greatest basketball players of all times. What he's doing
- 22:59Speaker 1: is is unthinkable in modern day. In modern times, it's
- 23:03Speaker 1: really really hard to do what he's doing. Now. They say,
- 23:10Speaker 1: Oscar Robinson is the only other player to average a
- 23:12Speaker 1: triple double for a season. He's averaging that a season.
- 23:21Speaker 1: This is big. Should he get the MVP? Yes, Oh,
- 23:27Speaker 1: hands down. He has to get to m v P.
- 23:30Speaker 1: I know y'all from Houston. I know y'all pulling for
- 23:32Speaker 1: James Harden, who's having an incredible season, who is an
- 23:36Speaker 1: incredible basketball player, who is leading the league in double doubles.
- 23:41Speaker 1: M hm, But not, he's not the m v P
- 23:46Speaker 1: this year. I'm sorry. The m v P has to

- 23:55Speaker 1: Kill come on now, But it's just an opinion. You
- 23:59Speaker 1: can say what you want to say, but you're saying nothing.
- 24:04Speaker 1: Not because it is impressive to do that for over
- 24:08Speaker 1: half the season. He says he's honored just to be mentioned.
- 24:11Speaker 1: In a conversation with Oscar Robertson, I like his humility.
- 24:15Speaker 1: Don't know who the big old wolves. We got church
- 24:21Speaker 1: complaints coming up. We'll be back at forty eight after
- 24:23Speaker 1: the hour. Congratul ladies, a gentleman of the I'm opening
- 24:33Speaker 1: up the phone lines taking calls. We're voting on the
- 24:37Speaker 1: NBA m v P today. Who should who should it be?
- 24:42Speaker 1: Who is your opinion? Is it Steph Carey? Is it
- 24:46Speaker 1: James Harden? Is it Westbrook? Isn't Lebron? Who else? That
- 24:52Speaker 1: boy Isaiah Thomas is having a year up there and
- 24:56Speaker 1: Boston June. You need to speak up for your dude
- 25:00Speaker 1: hard and should get it. Uncle. I think we got
- 25:01Speaker 1: a better record than Oklahoma City. It's all of course

- 25:08Speaker 1: don't count into the m v P. Well you don't
- 25:12Speaker 1: count in there, of course it does. Of course it
- 25:15Speaker 1: does against Houston for some reason why you don't even
- 25:22Speaker 1: But you want people to call in and let us
- 25:24Speaker 1: know who should be the m v P eight seven seven,
- 25:28Speaker 1: Steve running your mouth with you talking loud and hard. Yeah,
- 25:35Speaker 1: I'm still gonna hear why because because of the beer.
- 25:42Speaker 1: Yeah he has it is there's a clue. We are
- 26:00Speaker 1: gathered here on this Monday as the Elber double colical
- 26:06Speaker 1: Reverend Moton. Yes, and I am the irresistable Beacon death Jam.
- 26:14Speaker 1: Okay that you're not, but we're gonna allow you to see.
- 26:17Speaker 1: Yes anger, today's time for church complete. Yes, any eyes

- 29:24Speaker 1: That ain't down Well, he wants you to get at
- 29:27Speaker 1: me and talking. I'm not getting down there talking to
- 29:30Speaker 1: nothing cause that ain't no baby. All that food that's
- 29:38Speaker 1: in she could have something if he would, she would
- 29:43Speaker 1: get a cold and clean. Oh dear has a cold
- 29:52Speaker 1: and cleans. Have been on Steve Show for about four
- 29:55Speaker 1: years now. That's right, that's that brows of impacted been

- 30:52Speaker 1: Last year, he did uh didn't get to finish his speech,
- 30:56Speaker 1: because in the middle of it he started rapping tupop
- 30:59Speaker 1: lyrics and you stopped him right when he said, how
- 31:02Speaker 1: do you want it? Um, he is upset that he's
- 31:07Speaker 1: not having it this Easter. He wants you to let
- 31:09Speaker 1: him finish his entire Easter speech. No matter, boy has
- 31:13Speaker 1: a D H D H D A D. He can't
- 31:18Speaker 1: pay attention to a damn thing. Now. What we're not

- 47:04Speaker 1: happen with Houston and in Oklahoma this first round? Said? What? Now?
- 47:09Speaker 1: Get going within it? But how do they long? They
- 47:15Speaker 1: can't have as my boy? That's it all right? I
- 47:19Speaker 1: heard that, didn't you? Yeah? I heard I heard that.
- 47:21Speaker 1: Ain't gonna know I was gonna get this so much support?
- 47:25Speaker 1: It ain't y'all support us, Brooke. Now, if it was
- 47:28Speaker 1: the most valuable performance, it's most valuable player based on
- 47:35Speaker 1: your team. Oh talking about performances game, hedn't get that
- 47:42Speaker 1: if it's most valuable, but it's most valuable player and
- 47:46Speaker 1: that's his relative pr team. And I think Harden has
- 47:48Speaker 1: proven that. Oh hard with the m v P. Yeah
- 47:56Speaker 1: or this year, league, this year, get that boy to Oklahoma.
- 48:02Speaker 1: It's hard, clowning as he is and the bold. You
- 48:09Speaker 1: understand some of them triple doubles did have losses attached
- 48:12Speaker 1: to him. You understand. Hello, hold on, wait a minit whoa, whoa.
- 48:15Speaker 1: Excuse me, what is Houston's record? We are five. There
- 48:21Speaker 1: are twenty five losses attached to all the but we
- 48:25Speaker 1: got my winds. Uh, that's what I'm saying. We're third,
- 48:28Speaker 1: see boy, prank phone call coming up. We'll be back
- 48:34Speaker 1: after you're listening to the Steve Harvey Show. All right,
- 48:42Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour of Strawberry letters.
- 48:45Speaker 1: Subjects my part time husband. I'll say it again, my
- 48:49Speaker 1: part time husband. But up next it's the prank phone call. Nephew.
- 48:55Speaker 1: The church ushaw, it's messing with your people, church people
- 49:02Speaker 1: gotta laugh. Hell, Hello, I'm trying to reach your sister.
- 49:27Speaker 1: Good even to your ma'am. I don't mean to be
- 49:29Speaker 1: giving you a call this late in the evening, but
- 49:31Speaker 1: I I am the new youth minister. I haven't Uh.
- 49:35Speaker 1: My name is Sean Williams over at mission neary Baptist Church,
- 49:38Speaker 1: which mine is what happened to Um, he's no longer
- 49:44Speaker 1: with the church anymore. Man. Well, I'm not at at
- 49:51Speaker 1: liberty to speak up on that. But but what I
- 49:53Speaker 1: was doing is getting around and making sure I met
- 49:57Speaker 1: everyone because I haven't met everyone yet and I wanted
- 49:59Speaker 1: to reach out to um everyone at the church. But listen,
- 50:04Speaker 1: let me, let me get down to some more business,
- 50:06Speaker 1: because I've spoken with the pastor. Uh yes, Bishop, Yes, okay,
- 50:16Speaker 1: I spoke with him on yesterday, and we have narrowed
- 50:22Speaker 1: some things down over a few changes we're going to
- 50:24Speaker 1: be making at the church, and what we want to
- 50:26Speaker 1: do is um. One of the major subjects that have
- 50:29Speaker 1: come up, such as that we're wanting you if at
- 50:33Speaker 1: all possible, and the deacons were in on this meeting
- 50:36Speaker 1: as well, but wanting you to change your attitude when
- 50:40Speaker 1: people are coming in and you're seating them. From my understanding,
- 50:43Speaker 1: it's gotten to the point where they think you wait, wait, wait, wait, wait,
- 50:46Speaker 1: wait wait a minute, wait, thank you. Well it wasn't
- 50:50Speaker 1: a meeting. I don't listen here. I've been ushering on
- 50:53Speaker 1: that ashoard before it seven years. I am the US,
- 51:00Speaker 1: and I feel I've been trying to knot about it.
- 51:02Speaker 1: But I don't understand. Hi, y'all don't have a meeting
- 51:04Speaker 1: without me. That's possible. But now you won't call him
- 51:08Speaker 1: and tell me that you're gonna you're having a meeting
- 51:11Speaker 1: on me about me being nice, always nice? Well, ma'am,
- 51:16Speaker 1: that doesn't seem to be a problem with that. Twenty
- 51:20Speaker 1: seven now and then somebody to call me don't make
- 51:25Speaker 1: no proper what is it? Well? What that's actually my call, man,
- 51:31Speaker 1: is that maybe we figured if I would call and
- 51:33Speaker 1: speak with you about the matter, that maybe we can
- 51:35Speaker 1: get to some type of rectifying this situation to where
- 51:40Speaker 1: we can we're gonna recoify here. I'm gonna rectified. You
- 51:43Speaker 1: calling me this time a night taught my some meeting.
- 51:47Speaker 1: Just don't make no time. I don't appreciate you're calling
- 51:51Speaker 1: me any time a night away of Bishop. I need
- 51:54Speaker 1: to speak the bishop. Bishop's the one that actually I've
- 51:58Speaker 1: been at this triple for the seven years. I would say, oh,
- 52:01Speaker 1: my life, this don't make no type of sense. You're
- 52:03Speaker 1: calling me here with this mat the tea often to
- 52:06Speaker 1: make me because I'm trying to be a Christian. But
- 52:09Speaker 1: y'all not gonna ask me to be a Christianity. You're
- 52:11Speaker 1: just gonna just gonna aditate me with this mess. We're
- 52:14Speaker 1: telling me about something not remember that's saying that they're
- 52:17Speaker 1: having problems when you're seating the people, and that's all
- 52:20Speaker 1: that we're trying to get rectified. People don't want to
- 52:23Speaker 1: sit down, They want to go over here, they want
- 52:25Speaker 1: to go over there, they want to have the children
- 52:27Speaker 1: runner too and throw. It's like a bunch of demons
- 52:29Speaker 1: a while he's just bucking around in the church like
- 52:32Speaker 1: they ain't got no sense. And I'm not going to
- 52:34Speaker 1: have it in my section. My section is gonna be strife.
- 52:37Speaker 1: And I understand. Let you know what since uh, I
- 52:41Speaker 1: think if we did this, if you would do me
- 52:42Speaker 1: a favor and hold your phone, and if you would
- 52:44Speaker 1: just bow your head right now for me, maybe we
- 52:47Speaker 1: can come to to get to get the man. What
- 52:51Speaker 1: about my head as clean? Baby? If we can get
- 52:56Speaker 1: your lords, it's clean, it's hospital carpet. It don't make
- 52:58Speaker 1: no sense. Be about what about buy my head? If
- 53:01Speaker 1: you could, maybe, if you could close your eyes said
- 53:06Speaker 1: you call me, and I am very knowed at this,
- 53:12Speaker 1: and I don't appreciate it. I'm gonna tell you right now,
- 53:14Speaker 1: I'm gonna speak to me now. Father. We asked that
- 53:17Speaker 1: you look down up on Si Stick. We asked that
- 53:19Speaker 1: you look down upon her right now, right now, asking
- 53:24Speaker 1: that you put a smile on her face on Sunday morning,
- 53:27Speaker 1: asking that you put some joy in her heart on
- 53:30Speaker 1: Sunday morning, and can't let you draw all the pain
- 53:33Speaker 1: that she in the anglish that she might be going
- 53:35Speaker 1: through whatever demon there is inside. We asked that you
- 53:39Speaker 1: draw that demon out. We asked that you poured that
- 53:42Speaker 1: demon away from stack right now in your name. We
- 53:46Speaker 1: asked all of these blessings to come, because I don't
- 53:49Speaker 1: appreciate this boy. I don't even know who you is.
- 53:52Speaker 1: My pastor gave me the number one and asked me
- 53:56Speaker 1: to call I am. Like I said, I'm Sean Williams.
- 53:58Speaker 1: We haven't met yet, and I am the new He
- 54:00Speaker 1: don't he don't he don't act that way, and it's
- 54:02Speaker 1: bishop for the third time. I don't told you, boy, mishaps,
- 54:06Speaker 1: be respectful the folks, see, that's what miss Let me.
- 54:09Speaker 1: Let me let me say this right here, sister, and
- 54:13Speaker 1: maybe this will shed some light on things a little
- 54:16Speaker 1: bit clearer. I'm kind of listening ahead. This is Nephew
- 54:20Speaker 1: Timming from Steve Harvey Morning Show. You just got pranked
- 54:23Speaker 1: by System who is also usher at the church at
- 54:29Speaker 1: Missing there about this. This is yes, don't make no
- 54:38Speaker 1: sense lord him, this is embarrassing. Oh my god, this
- 54:42Speaker 1: is just yes, ma'am. That's that's that's my uncle. This
- 54:47Speaker 1: is just a joke though many Oh lord him, how
- 54:53Speaker 1: you do? How you doing this is? I'm there, I
- 55:00Speaker 1: am in. Do you listen to the show every day?
- 55:05Speaker 1: I never would have sipped myself to be Oh lord,
- 55:08Speaker 1: jog oh my God got me on this radio accord,
- 55:13Speaker 1: since bid this here to you? How about it, y'all
- 55:19Speaker 1: call me back and we get to how we do that?
- 55:24Speaker 1: We do? We will do a prank on her bill
- 55:27Speaker 1: and a couple of bills, you know, shore a little.
- 55:35Speaker 1: What is the baddest radio show in the land, The
- 55:39Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show? And look to it and hardy
- 55:44Speaker 1: mother loove sharing him loved and she is so cute.
- 55:47Speaker 1: I love love. This is so yeah. I'm so sorry.
- 55:52Speaker 1: Please forgive me Jesus. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 55:57Speaker 1: Morning Show, Crime on the seven for to seven and
- 56:10Speaker 1: lose for the thing. Man. You know, if that was
- 56:21Speaker 1: such thing as reincarnation, you could just bring me back
- 56:27Speaker 1: as a successful lounge single. They never made it to
- 56:32Speaker 1: the top. I stayed in all holiday evens saing in
- 56:37Speaker 1: the lounge. Just that would be good enough for you.
- 56:41Speaker 1: While I've been out there with that one, keyboard, but
- 56:43Speaker 1: I play a thousand sol funny funny all right, buncle
- 56:52Speaker 1: up a long time draw barry letter. Think enough you
- 56:56Speaker 1: subject my part time husband, Dear Stephen Early. I met
- 57:00Speaker 1: my husband at work, and our relationship quickly grew from
- 57:04Speaker 1: co workers to being married in two thousand thirteen. Since
- 57:08Speaker 1: we've been married, my husband has split his time with
- 57:11Speaker 1: me and his child's mother. My husband leaves our home
- 57:15Speaker 1: and goes to his child's mother's house on a daily basis.
- 57:19Speaker 1: My days with my husband are Mondays and Fridays. He
- 57:23Speaker 1: spends the night at home with me on those days,
- 57:26Speaker 1: and he stays over some weekends if there's a special
- 57:29Speaker 1: occasion we need to attend together. I'm sure he loves me,
- 57:34Speaker 1: and I love him. I know he loves the cookie,
- 57:37Speaker 1: so I'm not concerned about him getting it elsewhere. I
- 57:40Speaker 1: see him every day after work, but I cannot experience
- 57:44Speaker 1: what married life is really all about. I don't know
- 57:47Speaker 1: what it's like to have a full time husband. I
- 57:50Speaker 1: cuddle with my pillow at night instead of with my husband.
- 57:53Speaker 1: When I asked him about moving all the way in
- 57:55Speaker 1: with me and my kids, he always tells me that
- 57:58Speaker 1: it's coming. He has told me that he's waiting for
- 58:02Speaker 1: his child's mother to get a better job so she
- 58:04Speaker 1: can support herself. He paid the rent at his child's
- 58:07Speaker 1: mother's house. Meanwhile I take care of ninety of the
- 58:12Speaker 1: bills in our household. I don't believe in divorce, but
- 58:15Speaker 1: I also don't believe in playing a fool for anyone.
- 58:18Speaker 1: I have a major resentment because I feel like his
- 58:21Speaker 1: excuses are just that excuses. I'm so over this marriage.
- 58:26Speaker 1: My husband enables his child's mother and he has continued
- 58:30Speaker 1: to string me along for three years. What in the
- 58:32Speaker 1: world should I do? Should I leave him and let him?
- 58:36Speaker 1: Let her have him? Please help me? Uh, this is
- 58:40Speaker 1: a mess, okay, but not for him. This is a
- 58:44Speaker 1: mess for you. This is heaven for him. This is
- 58:47Speaker 1: really good for him. I mean, where else can he
- 58:51Speaker 1: be married and get to spend his nights and most
- 58:55Speaker 1: days with his baby mama? Uh, you, the wife, only
- 58:58Speaker 1: get two days with your husband Mondays and Fridays and
- 59:02Speaker 1: some some weekends. You say, uh, you know every day
- 59:06Speaker 1: after work, okay, and then he pays her rent, leaving
- 59:10Speaker 1: you to pay of your household expenses. Why are you
- 59:14Speaker 1: allowing your husband to do this? That that's what I'm
- 59:17Speaker 1: trying to figure out. He's walking all over you. He's
- 59:20Speaker 1: disrespecting you, he's disrespecting your marriage. You're legally his wife,
- 59:25Speaker 1: but he's treating you like the side chick. Okay, you're
- 59:29Speaker 1: really selling yourself short here by letting him do this,
- 59:33Speaker 1: you know? Do you this way? Uh? You say your
- 59:37Speaker 1: husband is enabling his baby mama, But you're enabling your
- 59:41Speaker 1: husband and you need to stop this. Should you leave him?
- 59:44Speaker 1: You ask yes, because he's he's already gone and he's
- 59:48Speaker 1: never there anyway, Steve, surely great is greatest? Thank It's
- 59:58Speaker 1: really this letter just Beckon's one one line? What is
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: wrong with you? What's wrong with you? Are you? Are
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: you kidding me? You know? I mean when you was
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: typing this, did you read it at all? I mean,
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: after you typed it and said, okay, this is what
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: I'm gonna send to Stephen Shirley, did you read back
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: over this? My husband has split his time with me
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: and his child's mother. How does your husband split his
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: time with his wife and his baby mama? My husband
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: leaves our home and go to his child's mother's house
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: on a daily basis, every day. My days with my
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: husband's on Mondays and Friday. You you got Mondays and Friday.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: Shirley said it best. You're the side chick. All you
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: got is a marriage. That's not a marriage. You legally
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: you have a marriage, but and that's all it is.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: It's on paper because you got Mondays and Fridays. Are
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: you kidding me? He spends the night at home with
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: me on those days two days out the weekend. He
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: stays over weekends if there's a special occasion we need
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: to attend now here here here where you get here
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: here where? The stupidity creep in that. I'm sure he
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: loves me and I love him. I know he loves
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: to cookie, so I'm not concerned about him getting it elsewhere.
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: You think that this man is spending the night over
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: another woman house he already had a baby with and
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: she ain't breaking nothing off. You think this dude, it's
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: getting out of your bed on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saddays in
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: Sundays and he ain't getting nothing over there or doing
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: nothing over that. Are you kidding me that? That's the
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: dumbest line in the letter. I know he loves to
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: cook it, so I'm not concerned about him getting it elsewhere.
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: The only truth in that is that he loves the cookie.
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: He do love your cookie. But I have some more
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: news for you. You love more than one cooking. I
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: like chocolate chips. But if you give me a peeknd
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: saying it, I'm gonna eat that. I eat had out
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: o meal, raising cookie, chunking motion, that cook vanilla, creety sandwich,
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: and law. Don't come up with an oreo. You think
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: I'm the cooking monster. Lady, Are you kidding me? I'm
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: done with you and your letter. I'll return with more
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: on it, but it's just gonna be more of the same.
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: That's all. This is ridiculous. You're listening Steve Show. All right,
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: we're in the middle of the Strawberry Letters subject my
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: part time husband. Part two of Steve's response coming up.
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: I always wanted to go. All right, we're back to
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: this letter my part town husband. This woman to marry
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: this man after a short time on the job. And uh,
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: he only spends the night with her on Mondays and Fridays.
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: He spends the night at home with her on those days,
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: and he stays over some weekends. If there's a special
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: occasion we need to attend together. I'm sure he loves me,
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: but he he spits his time with hurt and his
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: child's mother. The child's mothers over the other days. Uh,
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: she says, I'm sure he loves me and I love him.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: I know he loves to cook it, so I'm not
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: concerned about him getting it else. Who are this stupid
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: woman actually, thanks to her husband, is over this woman
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: house who he didn't already gave a baby too. And
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: you don't think she trying to keep him in that
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: house as opposed to going back over there to you
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: on Mondays and front. You don't think she putting him
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: on it, but trying to put it on you got
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: to be crazy. Uh. Then she says, I don't know
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: what it's like to have a full time husband. I
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: cut her with my pital at night instead of with
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: my husband. When I asked him about moving all the
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: way in with me and my kids, he always tells
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: me it's coming, really okay. He has told me that
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: he is waiting for his child's mother to get a
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: better job so she could support herself. Better job meaning
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: she is working somewhere. And if you send over a
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: child support like you would have to, that cures the problem.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: So this is crazy. He pays the rent at his
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: child's mother's house. Meanwhile, I take care of the bills
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: in our household. I don't believe in divorce. Here we go,
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: there's where the stupid people that I liked this one
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: right here? I don't believe in divorce. Well, I got
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: news for you, divorce damn show believe in you so now.
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: But I also don't believe in playing a food for anyone.
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: When did you start this? When did you start believing
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: in playing a food for anyone? Because you've been doing
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: this since two thousand, You've been letting your man split
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: time with his baby mama, and you get Monday's in Frieda.
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: I have major resentment because I feel like excuses are
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: just that excuses. I'm so over this marriage. My husband
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: enables his child's mother and has continued to string me
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: along for three years. What in the world should I do?
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: Why are you right now? Exactly why are you in this? MHM?
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: After hearing it out loud that I just really did
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: this letter verbatim, what do you think you should do?
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: Since you don't believe in divorce, you don't believe in divorce,
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: and he don't believe in marriage. You're the only one
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: took them vines because he damn showed it. The wedding
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: vials say the scripture seals or something. One of them
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: says something that no man put asunder what God has
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: joined together. I think you have to ask yourself to
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: God join this together, because if he didn't, you need
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: to get you to believe in in divorce, because, like
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: I said, divorce already believes it. All right, coming up,
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: next call, listen, tell us who do you think? Who
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: do you have for the n v NBA's m v
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: P eight seven seven twenty nine Steve. We'll take your
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: phone calls after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: Morning Show. That looks good, girl, Yeah, let's go. We will.
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: That looks good. Scary, Yeah, come on, Shirley, all right.
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: NBA MVP huh don't how many people? Yes? We are?
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: Who do you want in the n B A Do
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: you want Westbrook or Harden? Who do you want? Let's
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: go to line six tyrone from Virginian p. What's your
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: what's your top three? Hello? I mean the top three,
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: top four or five? Is Westbrook, Hardened, Lebron Curry and
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: Isaiah Thomas. Okay, hello Leonard, Yeah, hey Leonard, the same
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: as Tyrone. What what I said? Leonard from San Antonio
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: one of the balls? Hey Leonard? All right, what's his name?
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: His name is Tyrone's Tyrone? Who you got? Man? Who
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: you think you're winning the m v P this year?
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: In the NBA? I gotta go with Russell Westbrook. Man,
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: he's doing something that's unprecedent. Man. Nobody averages a triple dope.
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: No one does that. I mean, it's extremely hard to
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: do what he's doing. It's very hard. I'm a ball player.
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: It's very hard. Thank you, man, I'm glad you said that.
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: I'm not a ballplayer. It looks difficult, Yeah, it looks difficult.
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: I just think the intensity level that he's playing at.
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: I just think what he bring into that game every night.
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: If he had any supporting cast, that boy right there
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: and then and then and then and then you got
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: to look at his his best man left. Kevin Durant
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: went somewhere, and he still got a play off. They
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: were supposed to do nothing. They weren't supposed to do
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: nothing with Kevin duran Westbrook still getting when they got
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: to go. But you know what I also discovered Westbrook.
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: I used to think rest Westbrook didn't understand his role,
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: which was to feed Kevin Durant. I was wrong about that. Yes, yeah,
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: Westbrook was being held back to make Kevin Durant as
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: big a star he was to split. And that's why
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: I think Westbrook and Durant should end this little feud
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: that they got and just going and understand. It worked
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: out for the best of him because Durant doing the
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: same thing over there he was doing in Oklahoma. But Westbrook, though,
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: is clowning. This boy's game is spectacular. He's a highlight reel.
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: Thank you man, I appreciate it. Yo. All right, let's
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: go Shirley. Alright, let's go to line seven. Robert out
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: of New York. He Robert out of New York. Who
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: you got for the NBA? N Okay, okay, Let's go
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: to Canada, line seven. Will just go to Canada, Canada seven, Canada,

- 1:12:30Speaker 1: If you're in Atlanta, stay focused, Stay focused. If you're
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: in Atlanta. If you're in Atlanta, this traffic is horrible
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: because of the bridge. That bridge, man, it knocked down
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: traffic both ways on the freeway below and both ways
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: on the freeway above. This is so crazy. Yesterday leaving
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: family feud. After I got through taping at the Civic Center.
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: I'm just sitting in traffic on a Sunday, So you
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: really you got l a traffic night, not even dark outside.

- 1:13:51Speaker 1: McDonald's or a CVS. I chose the CVS. Mistake. Okay,
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: whoa mistake? Everybody girl in that CVS and these two sisters,

- 1:14:16Speaker 1: about this. These two sisters at the count I say,
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: excuse me, and I'm trying to push a little bit.
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: Excuse me. Can you tell me where the rest of
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: room is? Yes, sir, just go straight and leave. Lady. Yeah,

- 1:15:06Speaker 1: I get there. I'm standing there because the dope got
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: a code. So I'm calling this lady. She didn't stop
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: listen to me. The cosmetic al laid up to the bathroom.
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: She didn't stop to open a pack a lipstick started
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: in half. I sweat, y'all. I was standing that going. Man, damn,
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: look at this girl. I said, baby, baby, baby, what's
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: the code? Back hill? Oh? Here I come. She opened
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: the cold I used the bathroom. When I came out
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: there bathfood kid. How many people it was least and
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: they read it. I'm taking pictures in the day. I'll

- 1:16:36Speaker 1: he said, man, please, no pictures of the car. She said,
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: it's in the park and said if you don't want

- 1:18:15Speaker 1: be regularly and the girl bust out the lipstick out
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: of a package that was over there, the covernmented put
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: it on, looking at you. How long was that before
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: you had to get in that bad because I know
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: you sixty. It was about twenty seconds, and you know
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: I'm sixty. So when I have to go to the bathroom,
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: I have to go now. And once I see the door,
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: you know, I started letting go. And after you see
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: the door and you started letting go, it's about twenty seconds.
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: So how long was you in CVS? Total? Uh, probably
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: about eight to ten minutes. So they musted up twenty
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: five people and I had taken and that one of
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: the damn pictures. I took twenty five selfish group of hugs.
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: Wait a minute, I didn't get it good. When then
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: I got all the way outside, eight people on my car.
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: That's when the driver made the mistake of making an announcement,
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: Please no pictures of the car. That's when Keisha informed
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: me it's in the pocket. Lot. I love that Casha

- 1:29:40Speaker 1: from screen, you know, And I did like a little

- 1:30:15Speaker 1: but it ain't really been happening, right. So the other
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: thing we tried, you know, she went to the clug
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: and ain't nothing's wrong with her, it's me. So what
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: she wants to do is get artificially inssimilated. H and
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: me personally. At first I agreed to. I was like, yeah, yeah,
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: we don have to do that. You know what I'm saying,
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: there's no problem, but I really don't feel comfortable with
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: something of me going into a tool and her going
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: to a tube, and you know what I'm saying, don't
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: feel like it's right. Like And then I'm here at
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: storious about a doctor who had a whole bunch of
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: children running around because he was artificially assimilating women with
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: his own you did, And so she's been really happy, man,
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: real happy about you know, getting ready to have this
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: baby and everything. And I'm like, you know, I don't
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: want to do it no more. You know what I'm saying.
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: I that's my confession. Don't do you just showing y'all
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: y'all y'all married, we pilis, No, we ain't married. A
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: few times we're not man, We're not. Ain't this what
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: they called putting a the cart before the horse. He said,
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: whatnot is like putting the cart before the sounds like
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: you're trying to help you. That's not what you do, baby,
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: not what you do. Yeah, I'm just here to listen,
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: Brosan DeSean. You don't want to marry the girl, man, Man,
- 1:31:56Speaker 1: I mean she's a thing. Mam me like he's the
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: whole fact is man? And uh, I saying I don't
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: want to marry a man, but that marriage situation, I
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: know me, Man, I know I. I ain't trying to
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: get tired now like that ship. You know what I'm saying.
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: I want to make sure it's all out of you.
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: But you can help. Yeah, have the test, Tom. I
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: think it's a bad decision. Yeah, I think that should
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: hold to the fact that you don't want to do
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: it yet, because I bet you this girl is thinking
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: that this is the beginning, the step to the next
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: step and in your mind this did not necessarily lead
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: to anything except the baby. So I wouldn't do that
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: to a woman if I was. You don't do it,
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: you know what, Steve Man, it's crazy how we met. Man,
- 1:32:44Speaker 1: It's only the situation is on on like a video
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: game and come right back. Stay right there, we're gonna
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: come back. We're gonna talk to you. You're listening, Steve.
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: All right, Steve, we're in the middle of weekend Confessions
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: and our last color talking Deshan Desan. He's so, here's
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: a situation. Let me lay it out again. You're dating
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: this woman. That's everything. She's an absolutely incredible woman. Everything's
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: going good, she's perfect, she has no problems. You all
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: have been discussing having a baby. You went to see
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: the doctor. The problem a her issue. So you all
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: want to have uti artificial insemination using her egg your spurn. Correct. Okay,
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: Now you are starting to have second thoughts about this
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: and why so? Man, I being one under which you
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: see it's not like something out of one horrible movie
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: or something man like Splice or something. Man, it don't
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: it don't sound right? You know what I'm saying? And uh,
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: it just feels like I mean friends of mine and something.
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: I may feel different once the shorty here, but it's like,
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: you know what I'm still gonna be thinking, like, Man,
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: is that all me is? It's something? You know what
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: I'm saying, because it's crazy stuff going on where I
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: ain't no conspiracy theories and not really and it's all
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: the scientific type stuff. But I know something, you just
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: don't sound natural, man, you know. And she's a real
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: smart girl, you know what I'm saying. And uh, I'll
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: be trusting what she's saying. And I would like for
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: Shorty to have my baby, you know what I mean.
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: I ain't got no shorties in my own you know
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: what I'm saying. She got one already. Uh see, you
- 1:34:57Speaker 1: know what I'm saying out. Yeah, hey man, let me
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: say this to you know, so, uh, you don't have
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: any kids? You love the girl? Do you love him?
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: I can't say a love of man? Okay, cool, listen
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: to him. So then that explains why when I said earlier,
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: why don't you all get married before you have the
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: baby and then you could just be a family. But
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: if you don't love them, you you shouldn't get married
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: and bring a baby into Yeah. And I ain't judging
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: you whether you love the girl or not. If you
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: ain't in love, whether you ain't in love with it,
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: ain't nothing wrong with that. That ain't no seeing not
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: to be in love with somebody. I respect his honesty now. Yeah,
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: but I think she's looking at it a little bit differently.
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: If she's talking about a baby with you, has she
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: told you that she loves you? Man? It goes on
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: like she said that a lot. I ain't gonna back
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: to you. I said it back to it, but I
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: just thought that it's like a politically correct thing to say.
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: You know, I got you, I got you. Yeah. Well,
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: here's a deal, man. This is my suggestion to you.
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: Don't have the baby right now because she's thinking this
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: baby it's gonna really pull y'all together, and it ain't.
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: You know how many women that never does not work.
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: And if you're not in love with it, you can't
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: marry her because you're not gonna stay faithful. You you
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: feel me. I definitely feel where you're coming from. Yeah,
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: you can't stay faithful to a person you're not in
- 1:36:45Speaker 1: love with. It's hard being faithful when you're in love
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: with somebody us. Please don't bring a baby into that. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: so I think you're if I can, Man, I ain't
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: trying to hold y'all up and none. But you know
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: what I'm saying, Uh, give you a little bit on myself.
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: I Uh, I didn't had nothing broke when I came
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: into the picture. Short he gave a roof over my head,
- 1:37:12Speaker 1: faired me, respected me as a man, despite I wasn't
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: doing all my manly duties. You know what I'm saying,
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: being a provider, the one who can teach somebody, you know,
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: teach a child how they should be as an adult,
- 1:37:25Speaker 1: or you know, raising somebody. You know, I ain't up
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: in a position, but I got up on my feet. Man.
- 1:37:30Speaker 1: I'm I'm a truck driving on in that thing, and
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: we've got money, and it's like mad opportunities becoming at me. Bro.
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: And the reason I'll be saying I don't love it
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: is like just because of that man. I don't want
- 1:37:46Speaker 1: to go into detail, but too many opportunities across my way.
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: I like Shorty a lot, man, And I don't know why,
- 1:37:52Speaker 1: uh why my feelings be like that. You know what
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: I'm saying, But it's like what what what would you
- 1:37:59Speaker 1: should that? Man? Like? I mean, really, go ahead, Well,
- 1:38:05Speaker 1: here here's a deal. Liking a person and loving a person.
- 1:38:08Speaker 1: There's two different things. What did happened is she was
- 1:38:13Speaker 1: there for you, in in in your real our needs.
- 1:38:17Speaker 1: But see this how the devil worked on this girl
- 1:38:20Speaker 1: was here for you at the real our need you
- 1:38:23Speaker 1: really liked the girl, cause man, she perfect, ain't nothing
- 1:38:27Speaker 1: wrong with her, she's smart, she's beautiful, she all that.
- 1:38:31Speaker 1: But now you're the guy on your feet and these
- 1:38:33Speaker 1: other opportunities coming at you is these are just other
- 1:38:36Speaker 1: girls trying to get at you. These are other females
- 1:38:41Speaker 1: coming at you because they see you working. You gotta benefit,
- 1:38:45Speaker 1: your nice looking guy, your decent man, and they're coming
- 1:38:48Speaker 1: at you. You want to really experience some of this
- 1:38:51Speaker 1: stuff because how old are you? Yeah, man, you're young man,
- 1:39:00Speaker 1: And sit down with your girl, tell her the truth
- 1:39:03Speaker 1: that you don't really want to have a baby, and
- 1:39:07Speaker 1: then you just got to see how the relationship go,
- 1:39:09Speaker 1: because man, you ain't in love with it, so you
- 1:39:11Speaker 1: can't marry it. If you marry her, it's deaf. Don't
- 1:39:14Speaker 1: put a baby in this situation because you're gonna compound
- 1:39:17Speaker 1: the situation. So just take it easy and see how
- 1:39:20Speaker 1: see how you and her go after you sit down
- 1:39:22Speaker 1: and tell her the truth. But do sit her down
- 1:39:25Speaker 1: and tell the truth and see if she still feel
- 1:39:27Speaker 1: that way about you. All right, sold, you don't keep
- 1:39:33Speaker 1: doing it. Appreciate you up, Tom Sean by the Sean
- 1:39:39Speaker 1: Thank you for sharing and being honest, being honest, Tommy,
- 1:39:47Speaker 1: we'll be back to close out the show at forty
- 1:39:49Speaker 1: eight after the alm, I want to keep doing it.
- 1:39:51Speaker 1: You're listening to all right? The nephew wants to take
- 1:39:57Speaker 1: one more we can confession phone call. We got it
- 1:39:59Speaker 1: for you. Half right after this, then we'll close out
- 1:40:03Speaker 1: the show. We'll take a call close out the show.
- 1:40:05Speaker 1: After the song, and Judie was talking eight seven seven
- 1:40:11Speaker 1: twenty nine, Steve, one more call, all right, nephew, we're back.
- 1:40:23Speaker 1: We can confessions. Uh I just what don't hear what
- 1:40:30Speaker 1: you're going through? But you tried, you tried it though
- 1:40:33Speaker 1: you did try it to help someone. Let's go to
- 1:40:35Speaker 1: line five and to talk to Dell out of Illinois.
- 1:40:38Speaker 1: But we got you, we stopped you. Get me back
- 1:40:41Speaker 1: on track. Dale. Hey, what's up Tommy? What's going on? Man?
- 1:40:46Speaker 1: How you doing this morning? Oh? I'm blessing highly flavor listen.
- 1:40:50Speaker 1: Brob was just call and let you know, um um.
- 1:40:54Speaker 1: Over the weekend I had a breakthrough confession. You know
- 1:40:58Speaker 1: you got you can adn't play with hearts forever? And
- 1:41:02Speaker 1: uh I had to come to two times of letting
- 1:41:06Speaker 1: somebody know that I got somebody else, and of course
- 1:41:11Speaker 1: you you know how that go. But two people make yeah,
- 1:41:16Speaker 1: you know what I mean, come on, we If I
- 1:41:19Speaker 1: would listened to my old man, I probably wouldn't have
- 1:41:21Speaker 1: been in this situation. I should have waited try. I
- 1:41:23Speaker 1: was like forty something or forty eight to decide I
- 1:41:26Speaker 1: was gonna get married, because it seems like you can
- 1:41:28Speaker 1: get everything out back then. Most men don't know that,
- 1:41:30Speaker 1: but they won't tell you that. But he was trying
- 1:41:33Speaker 1: to tell me that. But while I was calling, and
- 1:41:34Speaker 1: let you know, I had to come to a confession
- 1:41:36Speaker 1: letter know that I had somebody else. And the killer
- 1:41:40Speaker 1: paul about it is it was so messed up because
- 1:41:45Speaker 1: the one that suffering the most it's me, because it's
- 1:41:48Speaker 1: wearing on my heart. You know, I don't know how
- 1:41:50Speaker 1: most men feel, but when you come to a certain
- 1:41:53Speaker 1: age and you know, like you know, you can't play
- 1:41:56Speaker 1: with hards like that, you know, And I don't know
- 1:41:59Speaker 1: what kind of reveren some people tell you, but that's
- 1:42:01Speaker 1: just it all eat that you, especially if you believe
- 1:42:03Speaker 1: in God. So with that being said, that's something I've
- 1:42:07Speaker 1: been through and I had to let a note that
- 1:42:09Speaker 1: I got somebody else and everything so yeah, I let
- 1:42:14Speaker 1: it over the weekend. I had to let it over
- 1:42:16Speaker 1: the phone because you know, I'm from well, I ain't
- 1:42:23Speaker 1: on this shot. But you yeah, though, so how long?
- 1:42:30Speaker 1: How long? How long you've been stringing her along? Man? Oh? Man?
- 1:42:34Speaker 1: Tell me so, I've been screaming along for about about
- 1:42:42Speaker 1: a year. But she knew I had somebody else. But
- 1:42:46Speaker 1: at the same time, though, she was taking care of
- 1:42:48Speaker 1: some things for me too from the financial standpoint, So
- 1:42:52Speaker 1: that kind of ate at me too, you know. But
- 1:42:54Speaker 1: I'm up on my seat. I'm gonna pay it back.
- 1:42:56Speaker 1: Don't worry, no worries with that. I ain't got no
- 1:42:59Speaker 1: problem paying back what I owe. But I'm just I'm
- 1:43:03Speaker 1: just realizing that you could sit here and be, you know,
- 1:43:07Speaker 1: be him the best player in the world. But if
- 1:43:10Speaker 1: you've got a heart, you ain't a player if you
- 1:43:13Speaker 1: got a heart, because you're thinking about what the badness
- 1:43:15Speaker 1: that the bad things that you just put out. And
- 1:43:18Speaker 1: you know, I'm getting older, I'm older now, so I'm
- 1:43:21Speaker 1: I come to grips, say, hey, I ain't gonna live
- 1:43:23Speaker 1: life like this. You know, everybody have a revelation in
- 1:43:26Speaker 1: their life soon or lady, you know, I do poetry. Now,
- 1:43:29Speaker 1: I got I do poetry. But on the side he's
- 1:43:33Speaker 1: gonna do on my port you gotta write about this
- 1:43:35Speaker 1: stuff too. So it's just one of them situations telling
- 1:43:38Speaker 1: me and I felt good talking to you because you're
- 1:43:40Speaker 1: my friend, brother, and I know you've been through it,
- 1:43:42Speaker 1: so I could easily. It's like I could talk to
- 1:43:45Speaker 1: you really, and I could talk to Steve. And I
- 1:43:47Speaker 1: wish more people. And one thing about Steve, if I
- 1:43:50Speaker 1: had listened to my heart of hearts Steve, that's the
- 1:43:54Speaker 1: best thing he could have did when he put the
- 1:43:55Speaker 1: book out, because I'd be wanting to tell women this
- 1:43:58Speaker 1: exactly what's gonna happen to you. But what would that
- 1:44:00Speaker 1: make me look like a pump for telling you the
- 1:44:03Speaker 1: play book? But then I think about it. Steve was
- 1:44:06Speaker 1: the money man, brave enough to come out there and
- 1:44:08Speaker 1: tell him, but this is what I'm gonna do to you.
- 1:44:10Speaker 1: That's exactly what he's gonna do. He gonna do this,
- 1:44:12Speaker 1: He's gonna do that. But I don't think they wrote
- 1:44:15Speaker 1: they should write a playbook for the ladies too, because
- 1:44:17Speaker 1: the ladies don't have that. They sometimes they brand told
- 1:44:20Speaker 1: us about to happen to them all they see is
- 1:44:22Speaker 1: the face in the suit and the money. Other than that,
- 1:44:26Speaker 1: they don't know what's the what's gonna transpire behind me.
- 1:44:29Speaker 1: I'm just keeping in one hundred, that's all you are.
- 1:44:32Speaker 1: Del How she How she doing? Man? Huh? How the
- 1:44:39Speaker 1: girl doing the one? Huh? The one influence? She doing good?
- 1:44:43Speaker 1: She all right? She she she was with somebody too.
- 1:44:46Speaker 1: And that was the killer part. I was like, please,
- 1:44:48Speaker 1: don't quit the person you with, because I'm gonna svintly
- 1:44:52Speaker 1: come to you and tell you this ain't what I want.
- 1:44:54Speaker 1: But and it's pretty much what had happened. So you know,
- 1:44:58Speaker 1: I mean a trip. It's a trip, man, And I'm
- 1:45:02Speaker 1: the one over here stuffing stuffing from that heart? What
- 1:45:09Speaker 1: what What's what's hurting you? Man? What part of it? Oh?
- 1:45:12Speaker 1: The heart? The part that the guilty you know, being
- 1:45:15Speaker 1: you know, using, that's using people, Steve, But you know
- 1:45:21Speaker 1: what that means? Though. This is kind of a good
- 1:45:23Speaker 1: thing though, because, like you say, we all have that revelation,
- 1:45:28Speaker 1: we all have that moment. It hits every single man.
- 1:45:32Speaker 1: It don't hit us at the same time. It ain't
- 1:45:35Speaker 1: no set age, but it hits all of us at
- 1:45:38Speaker 1: one time. Hold up, man, I'm tripping. This ain't really
- 1:45:43Speaker 1: met because one time, man, you're gonna hurt somebody you
- 1:45:49Speaker 1: really care about, and inevitably you're gonna hurt somebody that
- 1:45:54Speaker 1: really means something to you. And then dog yeah to hey,
- 1:46:04Speaker 1: you wrote you wrote a poem about it. Hey, it's
- 1:46:08Speaker 1: called dark Carts. Dark Cart is on. It's on SoundCloud.
- 1:46:14Speaker 1: A little point about that, and also wrote some stuff
- 1:46:16Speaker 1: about Steve Harvey. I gotta sub I'll be I've been
- 1:46:20Speaker 1: trying to get in Steve here about the sun called Intertwine.
