- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like a
- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things in abu. Good Steve to other for stay,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join Jo. You gotta turn you're going to do.
- 1:24Speaker 1: You gotta turn to turn out turn you got to
- 1:44Speaker 1: turn out turn the water the water go. Come come
- 1:58Speaker 1: on your baby. Uh huh, I shore will good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 1: You are listening to the voice, Come on, dig me
- 2:07Speaker 1: nwe one and all. It's Steve Harvey. Got a radio show,
- 2:11Speaker 1: Man one more time. Steve Harvey got a radio show? Yeah,
- 2:15Speaker 1: I do, man. I thank God for it every day.
- 2:19Speaker 1: You know. Um, my message this morning, man is real clear.
- 2:23Speaker 1: It's something that's been on me to share, and it's
- 2:28Speaker 1: it's amazing. You know, um, God can do some amazing
- 2:34Speaker 1: things for you. But what happens along the way is
- 2:40Speaker 1: and I don't know that I mean to say, but
- 2:44Speaker 1: but the fact that God can do some amazing things
- 2:47Speaker 1: for you, that comes adversity along with it. Every single time.
- 2:56Speaker 1: It just goes without saying. And I've I was having
- 3:01Speaker 1: a fairly I mean well not fairly, but a hugely
- 3:06Speaker 1: successful week. I had never seen this type of hatred
- 3:12Speaker 1: before I hadn't seen it. And it's it's a great
- 3:17Speaker 1: trick that the devil does. You know, when when God
- 3:20Speaker 1: is blessing you and giving you some some some great
- 3:23Speaker 1: opportunities in your life as all of you have gone through,
- 3:26Speaker 1: and it is. Isn't it amazing how some negative thing
- 3:30Speaker 1: crops up and that's what you have to focus on.
- 3:34Speaker 1: I found out that I don't have to, but you
- 3:36Speaker 1: wind up focusing on it, and your energy goes over
- 3:39Speaker 1: to that to try to deal with it. Counteract. Wonder
- 3:43Speaker 1: why I was happening. You gotta make phone calls? What
- 3:46Speaker 1: was this about? Blah blah blah blah blah, and and
- 3:48Speaker 1: and it, and it throws you off the course you
- 3:51Speaker 1: are on the beginning of the week, I was so grateful,
- 3:56Speaker 1: I was so amazed. I was really thanking God for
- 3:59Speaker 1: opportunity for this brief moment. The enemy slides this little
- 4:05Speaker 1: factor in there that causes you to and it requires
- 4:08Speaker 1: your attention. You have to pay an attention because you
- 4:10Speaker 1: don't know what you're going. Wow, man, let me see
- 4:13Speaker 1: what this could really be. How much dirt is this
- 4:16Speaker 1: really that they're trying to do? And so it requires
- 4:19Speaker 1: your attention. But in that attention, you lose your focus
- 4:24Speaker 1: on really all the blessings and the good thing that
- 4:27Speaker 1: God does for you. That the enemy has an amazing
- 4:31Speaker 1: trick that he does that. And it was and it
- 4:34Speaker 1: was in my head. I gotta tell y'all all week long, man,
- 4:37Speaker 1: and I was doing some amazing stuff. I was having
- 4:41Speaker 1: such a blessed week, man, in terms of press and
- 4:43Speaker 1: pr and where God was taking me. And then when
- 4:48Speaker 1: I got back, I was talking with my wife, and
- 4:51Speaker 1: then I was talking to a good friend of ours
- 4:54Speaker 1: and they shared something that really helped me out. And
- 5:00Speaker 1: they said to me, new level, new devil. You know
- 5:07Speaker 1: it's it's it's something really simple, but new level new devil.
- 5:11Speaker 1: Every time you go to another level, every time you
- 5:17Speaker 1: go a little bit higher, every time God has a
- 5:20Speaker 1: blessing in store for you, every time He moves you
- 5:24Speaker 1: in position, do you understand that the enemy's job is
- 5:28Speaker 1: to make you not see the blessing, make you not
- 5:31Speaker 1: be grateful for it, lose your focus and focus on
- 5:35Speaker 1: this that I just threw in your way, this stumbling block,
- 5:38Speaker 1: this obstacle, this trickery. And man, I was, I was,
- 5:43Speaker 1: I got you. I just gotta tell you, man, I mean,
- 5:45Speaker 1: it was so filled with hatred that I had to
- 5:48Speaker 1: I really spent some time addressing it. I you know,
- 5:51Speaker 1: I got publicists on the phone. I said, what's what's
- 5:53Speaker 1: happening here? Y'all not watching this? Y'all not what what was?
- 5:56Speaker 1: What was this attack? You knew that you didn't know
- 5:58Speaker 1: these angles? What was? And you know, Steve Chill, new level,
- 6:04Speaker 1: new devil. If you get a promotion on your job,
- 6:08Speaker 1: guess what. Somebody ain't happy that you got the promotion.
- 6:12Speaker 1: So here come to hey. You don't even you don't
- 6:15Speaker 1: even really know these people. You have no idea. Every
- 6:19Speaker 1: time you make a decision to make your relationship with
- 6:22Speaker 1: your spouse better, man, this is it. You know what
- 6:26Speaker 1: I'm gonna start doing. I'm gonna do this, man, so
- 6:28Speaker 1: me and my girl can go on and have this on.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Me and my man can go on and have this.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Watch what happened every single time? Here comes the new level,
- 6:39Speaker 1: the new devil, the trick. You don't need to do that,
- 6:42Speaker 1: what you're doing that for her? She don't appreciate it.
- 6:44Speaker 1: He ain't gonna appreciate it. Look over here, man, look
- 6:46Speaker 1: at that right there, ain't he nothing. You know, he missed,
- 6:49Speaker 1: he didn't call you, and he said, it's gonna all
- 6:51Speaker 1: types of stuff. It just happens all the time. And
- 6:54Speaker 1: I was sitting here talking with this friend, really good friend,
- 6:57Speaker 1: very spiritual person, and they said, you know something, Steve.
- 7:01Speaker 1: You know, I was talking to Jesus and said I
- 7:04Speaker 1: was having this conversation with Christ. And I said, God,
- 7:08Speaker 1: for real, you mean to tell me every time that
- 7:12Speaker 1: something good happens to me. You mean every time I
- 7:17Speaker 1: try to go to the next level, every time you
- 7:19Speaker 1: put me on the next level, you mean to tell
- 7:21Speaker 1: me that I got to go through this right here?
- 7:24Speaker 1: Are you for real? And then my friend said, Jesus said,
- 7:31Speaker 1: they did it to me, and we just fell out laughing.
- 7:35Speaker 1: They did it to me, They did it to him.
- 7:40Speaker 1: They did it to him for him to go to
- 7:42Speaker 1: the next level. And you know, I was just I
- 7:45Speaker 1: was just going over the whole story about the crucifixion
- 7:48Speaker 1: and everything that had to be amazing man of all
- 7:51Speaker 1: the hate he had endured, all the prosecuting he had
- 7:54Speaker 1: do it. They thought, ultimately, what we'll do is we'll
- 7:58Speaker 1: nail him on a cross and crucified and that'll be
- 8:01Speaker 1: the end of him, and we'll put him in this
- 8:03Speaker 1: tune and we'll put this big stone up there, and
- 8:06Speaker 1: that'll be the end of him. But what they did
- 8:08Speaker 1: not know was all you was doing was setting the
- 8:11Speaker 1: tone for the next level, because eventually the stone got
- 8:15Speaker 1: rolled away and he went and got placed with his
- 8:18Speaker 1: father where he was headed to. Anyway, he ultimately knew
- 8:23Speaker 1: that his ultimate goal was to get to his father.
- 8:27Speaker 1: So when you when you when you thought you were
- 8:31Speaker 1: doing what you were doing to him, and you put
- 8:35Speaker 1: him in a tune and you put the big stone
- 8:37Speaker 1: up in there, and the stone got rolled got rolled away,
- 8:40Speaker 1: and he went eventually to where he was trying to
- 8:42Speaker 1: get to. That story is in place for all of
- 8:48Speaker 1: us to remember that when we are going through some things,
- 8:53Speaker 1: could it be because we are going to a place,
- 8:57Speaker 1: you know, It could be just a place in life.
- 8:59Speaker 1: It could be a different level in life. That's all
- 9:02Speaker 1: it has to be. But there's going to be the
- 9:06Speaker 1: adversarial challenges that come with it, and those are the
- 9:10Speaker 1: moments we must expect, expect and take them head on
- 9:14Speaker 1: and still not lose your focus or appreciation for what
- 9:18Speaker 1: God has done for you. So in light of all
- 9:20Speaker 1: of that, I'm able to say today that I thank
- 9:23Speaker 1: my heavenly Father, I really do for all the blessing
- 9:26Speaker 1: season bestowed upon me and all of the haters and
- 9:30Speaker 1: all of the liars, and all of the backstabbers and
- 9:34Speaker 1: all those people. When you get through lying, when you
- 9:37Speaker 1: get through stabbing, when you get through gossiping and doing
- 9:42Speaker 1: what you do, I'm still going to the next level.
- 9:48Speaker 1: I'm still going. You cannot stop what God has in
- 9:55Speaker 1: store for you. No one can stop that show. Ladies,
- 10:03Speaker 1: a gentleman, it is upon us. The Steve Harvey Morning
- 10:06Speaker 1: Show is in full effect. We are rolling this morning
- 10:10Speaker 1: as usual, and for the remainder of the year, feel

- 10:15Speaker 1: he has done for the music industry. Roscoe Wallace, one
- 10:19Speaker 1: of the greatest lounge singers of all time, is then
- 10:21Speaker 1: thrall caught up spawning out of control with this three
- 10:26Speaker 1: trillion dollar lawsuit of the entire music industry. Today we'll
- 10:31Speaker 1: find another hit that's involved in the lawsuit. That's further
- 10:35Speaker 1: proof that he is the greatest songwriter curator of music
- 10:38Speaker 1: of all time. Ladies and gentlemen, my dog the alleged

- 11:03Speaker 1: know you didn't introduction of Christ that time. That's the
- 11:06Speaker 1: only thing I ain't suing somebody for because I would
- 11:09Speaker 1: wish you when you wrote that, that boy show how
- 11:14Speaker 1: they need to do what I'm telling here? What's going on? Roscoe?
- 11:18Speaker 1: Ain't baby Roscoe? He wrote you going the silly stow
- 11:23Speaker 1: every baby girl, Rosco. Colin, I know, I know how

- 11:37Speaker 1: music I'm gonna make this with show this week. I'm
- 11:40Speaker 1: also bringing in one of the great groups into this lawsuit.
- 11:47Speaker 1: I'm suing All nine or the Common Door All nine
- 11:53Speaker 1: or the Common Door? Why line on that big as
- 11:57Speaker 1: boy with them big glasses on. I don't even know

- 12:03Speaker 1: ones that didn't matter, you know, try to lead Linolin
- 12:07Speaker 1: came up with night Trape, all of them? Who too?
- 12:12Speaker 1: Oh She's a brick. How hey, she's mighty byn't it
- 12:23Speaker 1: all hang out? Oh she's a brick. You know where
- 12:25Speaker 1: she is? Come on, now, how made our concrete? She's
- 12:30Speaker 1: the one, only one built from a whole lot of fun.

- 14:15Speaker 1: it is all right. Your daughter, bit my son, your daughter.
- 14:23Speaker 1: When you listen, if you're gonna, if you really want
- 14:25Speaker 1: to get to somebody, it's the kids. Go at the kids.
- 14:29Speaker 1: Why don't you say something about their kids, especially black people.
- 14:34Speaker 1: It goes through the roof. But but well, let's get
- 14:39Speaker 1: the pushing. Come on your daughter, bit my son, let's go,
- 14:41Speaker 1: let's get the pushing it. Let's go Hello, Hello, this
- 14:47Speaker 1: is this is look do you do you do your

- 14:56Speaker 1: name is? Yes? Who's this? Listen your daughter and bit
- 14:59Speaker 1: my my son. H Joshua want on the back my daughter?
- 15:03Speaker 1: You know this is Wilton, your daughter the bit my son,
- 15:06Speaker 1: B Well, Wilton down. You can't just call my house
- 15:09Speaker 1: and tell me my daughter bit your saying be cussing
- 15:12Speaker 1: at me, lady. I just said your daughter sakia bit
- 15:15Speaker 1: my son Joshua in the back, and I just let no.
- 15:18Speaker 1: I just said no two things. One my daughter wouldn't
- 15:20Speaker 1: bite nobody, and two, don't call my house with this tone.
- 15:24Speaker 1: I called with any kind of tone, and I want
- 15:26Speaker 1: to call with all I'm saying, is your daughter then
- 15:29Speaker 1: bit my son in the back. And I'm gonna tell
- 15:31Speaker 1: you I'm saying is don't call my house with this
- 15:34Speaker 1: at to saying some that my daughter beat your child
- 15:37Speaker 1: in the back. My daughter has manners and she wouldn't
- 15:40Speaker 1: be biting nobody in the back. You know, somebody, how

- 16:14Speaker 1: my child. But I don't think you got your facts straight.
- 16:18Speaker 1: So next time you call somebody to tell them about
- 16:20Speaker 1: that child, figure out everything about your child first. All
- 16:23Speaker 1: I'm saying is that the people at the academy says, so, Carol,

- 16:51Speaker 1: your child in the back. When I picked up my child,
- 16:53Speaker 1: they didn't say to me your child is fighting in
- 16:56Speaker 1: the back? Child? How child every day? Like I said
- 16:59Speaker 1: in the first slave, you must be some kind of
- 17:01Speaker 1: weekend daddy. You know my child. I'm with my child
- 17:04Speaker 1: every day. How you are you? I'm with I don't
- 17:08Speaker 1: even know who Joshua is. She should have just hit
- 17:10Speaker 1: him in the head. Ain't what you ain't gonna do?
- 17:13Speaker 1: And city and talk about my baby like you asked
- 17:15Speaker 1: me to lower my child. I know what I'm gonna do.
- 17:17Speaker 1: I'm gonna hang up one mo loy Hello, Hello called back?
- 17:24Speaker 1: Call her back cat Hello, don't hang up on me

- 18:05Speaker 1: be talking about fake facts. She didn't bite them in
- 18:09Speaker 1: the back. She might have whoked it, but my daughter.
- 18:12Speaker 1: Don't play now, keep talking. You found my phone number,
- 18:18Speaker 1: find my address and have your kids. Daddy beat you?
- 18:22Speaker 1: What I said, bring your gone over again? My babies,

- 24:13Speaker 1: I know you love Christmas songs. You could finish it.
- 24:33Speaker 1: I see it all. How jeez, did you like jingle bells?
- 24:47Speaker 1: Sister your dell? Well, you know the original version. They
- 24:52Speaker 1: change it when white people started singing it. What what
- 24:55Speaker 1: do you mean what you mean like jingle bells? Jingle bells.
- 24:59Speaker 1: That's not know when used to this used to be
- 25:02Speaker 1: jingle bears, used to go like this, jangle or jangle Oh,
- 25:08Speaker 1: jangle ol, jangle jangle lord, jangle bell, jangle bell, jangle bells,
- 25:22Speaker 1: jangle all away said, jangle bears, jangle bells, jangle all
- 25:30Speaker 1: the way. Then you know, white folks couldn't do it,
- 25:34Speaker 1: so they had to simplify it, you know, to what Yeah, yeah,
- 25:41Speaker 1: what's your version of ye now, okay, just white? Yeah,
- 25:49Speaker 1: they killed killer on a sun. You know there was

- 26:42Speaker 1: okay for the kids. Okay, so didn't listen to me.
- 26:45Speaker 1: For the kids, that's listening. This is what's happening there
- 26:50Speaker 1: as a white man that puts on a suit and
- 26:53Speaker 1: gets in a sled with twelve raindeer and they put
- 26:55Speaker 1: him all across the hood and the slabs on people's
- 26:58Speaker 1: roof and they're being shot. It comes down the chimney
- 27:03Speaker 1: and it fitch down everybody. Chimney. Now, if you ain't
- 27:06Speaker 1: got a chimney. He comes through the windows or under
- 27:09Speaker 1: the door, and then he leaves all the presents, the
- 27:13Speaker 1: stuff you don't want. And that's what he is. He's
- 27:16Speaker 1: just Santa crossing if you ain't ever got what you wanted.
- 27:20Speaker 1: That pretty much explains it's fat. Oh wow. All I
- 27:29Speaker 1: can say to that is thank you, sister odell Uh
- 27:34Speaker 1: shit the snow? Can you can you tell him what's
- 27:43Speaker 1: coming up next? Laughing? I guess not take us out

- 27:54Speaker 1: You know? You know what? We need to give Americas
- 27:56Speaker 1: to people who are gonna get to give. They don't
- 27:57Speaker 1: want to fix your face when you open it, play

- 28:08Speaker 1: and bless that's all the money they ahead all right?
- 28:11Speaker 1: Oh just lie oh dishwashing. Yeah, I get that. You. Yes, something.

- 28:32Speaker 1: I know you always yeah, I mean, there's no really
- 28:38Speaker 1: way to say. I mean when you say the gift

- 32:01Speaker 1: to Steve HARVEYFM dot com to submit your questions. Ready, clom,
- 32:07Speaker 1: let's go. This one's from Howard in Oakland. Howard says,
- 32:11Speaker 1: I'm a thirty three year old man engaged to be
- 32:14Speaker 1: married this fall. My fiance is threatening to call off
- 32:18Speaker 1: our wedding if I don't handle a situation with my
- 32:21Speaker 1: ex girlfriend. Years ago, I dated a girl that was
- 32:24Speaker 1: pregnant when we met. After she had the baby, I
- 32:28Speaker 1: was in the baby's life for three years. I have
- 32:31Speaker 1: an attachment to this little boy who's eight years old. Now.
- 32:35Speaker 1: My fiance has no problem with me dealing with a child.
- 32:38Speaker 1: She just gets mad when the child's mother acts like
- 32:41Speaker 1: I'm required to do certain things with and for her son.
- 32:45Speaker 1: How can I resolve this issue and keep my fiance
- 32:48Speaker 1: and this child happy? Wow? Oh yeah, I don't know
- 32:53Speaker 1: how to do that. Son. You're in a tough spot
- 32:57Speaker 1: because obviously she's jealous of the relationship and the baby.
- 33:02Speaker 1: Now it's not your biological baby, but I mean you've
- 33:06Speaker 1: you've entered into his life. You're what he knows his dad,
- 33:10Speaker 1: and you're attached to it. Man, I don't think you
- 33:12Speaker 1: should take that from the child. I think you got
- 33:14Speaker 1: to sit your girl down and just work through it.
- 33:17Speaker 1: You know, now your ex putting things on you that's
- 33:21Speaker 1: not really your responsibility. That's a whole nother thing. That's
- 33:26Speaker 1: her trying to stir the pot in your life now,
- 33:29Speaker 1: and you know that's being a little bit messy, and
- 33:32Speaker 1: it's not necessary because by law, you won't have to
- 33:35Speaker 1: pay child support or none of that. So I think
- 33:38Speaker 1: you should sit her down explain to her what it is.
- 33:41Speaker 1: But I think you have to sit your ex down
- 33:43Speaker 1: and go, hey, look this making me feel obligated. That
- 33:47Speaker 1: won't work. I'm in a situation now, I'm in a
- 33:50Speaker 1: relationship that's really good for me, and that's what it is.
- 33:55Speaker 1: I can't have her set what you're calling over here
- 33:57Speaker 1: making demands, So that's your last demand. You know. I
- 34:00Speaker 1: want to see him, and I'm gonna help with him
- 34:02Speaker 1: because I'm ain't I'm damn the man. So this is
- 34:08Speaker 1: all volunteer. I love the dude, he loves me. Let's
- 34:11Speaker 1: leave it at that. Yeah, all right, thank you, Steve.
- 34:15Speaker 1: Tanya and Rosemont, Illinois says I'm in the process of
- 34:19Speaker 1: having my grown, thirty year old son evicted. He will
- 34:23Speaker 1: not pay me to live here, and I have asked
- 34:25Speaker 1: him many times to leave on his own. I recently
- 34:29Speaker 1: purchased a new home and I have some minor repairs
- 34:32Speaker 1: home repairs that I need him to help me out with,
- 34:35Speaker 1: and he refuses to help me. He won't keep a job,
- 34:37Speaker 1: and I feel like I'm enabling him, so I want
- 34:40Speaker 1: him out. He is upset with me, and he posted
- 34:42Speaker 1: a very nasty comment about me on social media, and
- 34:46Speaker 1: several of our family members sided with him because they
- 34:48Speaker 1: know he has nowhere to go. Am I wrong to
- 34:51Speaker 1: legally put him out? You out? You could legally change
- 34:56Speaker 1: them locks, and you could legally be everything he said
- 34:59Speaker 1: you will was in that damn post. If that's how
- 35:02Speaker 1: if that's what you won't hear it is, and to
- 35:04Speaker 1: hell with the family and those Hayton family members. Yeah,
- 35:09Speaker 1: let him come stay with you because we know he
- 35:12Speaker 1: ain't got no where to go. He ain't got away
- 35:13Speaker 1: to go because he don't want to work. You ain't
- 35:15Speaker 1: gonna be talking to me crazy, and I'm taking care
- 35:17Speaker 1: of you. You're a thirty year old man, get out
- 35:18Speaker 1: of here. But you're posting nasty things about your mom
- 35:22Speaker 1: on social Molia. Your mom? That's crazy. You know there
- 35:27Speaker 1: is such a thing as dead beat son. Yeah, I
- 35:31Speaker 1: guess we just got an example of that. Thank you,
- 35:33Speaker 1: c Hello, great advice as usual. You're listening show. All right,
- 35:39Speaker 1: So here's the question, guys, what marks the beginning of
- 35:41Speaker 1: the holiday season for you? Is there a specific song
- 35:45Speaker 1: that puts you in the Christmas spirit? How about a
- 35:47Speaker 1: special movie? Carlaton The Temptations, that's Christmas Eve by Day

- 45:21Speaker 1: sensual massages and things like that. And she I was
- 45:24Speaker 1: actually here when she came and filled out the paperwork.
- 45:26Speaker 1: She said she wanted to spruce up her love life
- 45:29Speaker 1: with her husband. Are you her husband? Yeah? Yeah, I'm
- 45:32Speaker 1: I'm a husband. But what I'm saying is is this
- 45:35Speaker 1: like a like a joint thing? Am I supposed to
- 45:36Speaker 1: be there and something? No? No, no, no, no, this
- 45:38Speaker 1: is actually her wanting to Actually I'm if you don't
- 45:42Speaker 1: know about it, I'm assuming she wants to surprise you
- 45:44Speaker 1: and show you some different things. When when she finishes
- 45:47Speaker 1: her sessions? So when did when when did she come in,
- 45:51Speaker 1: like she came in. Where are y'all located? First of all? Okay, well,
- 45:54Speaker 1: she actually came in a couple of weeks ago and
- 45:56Speaker 1: she filled out the paperwork. We're in the downtown area.
- 45:59Speaker 1: She filled it out. She said she was very excited.
- 46:01Speaker 1: She wanted to do some different things for her husband.
- 46:03Speaker 1: We just asked if she gets here a little earlier,
- 46:06Speaker 1: probably fifteen minutes earlier, so she can shower and put
- 46:08Speaker 1: a robe on, and then we can we can start class.
- 46:10Speaker 1: Who who whoa whoa whoa whoa shower, shower and rose?
- 46:14Speaker 1: What's that? What's that for? I mean, you're not You're
- 46:17Speaker 1: not what I'm sat about this all right now? I mean,
- 46:18Speaker 1: I don't got no problem with you know us, we
- 46:20Speaker 1: mean we know, I mean we married couple, you know
- 46:22Speaker 1: what I mean. So you know, anything the spices spice
- 46:24Speaker 1: up the marriage. But you know, as far as me
- 46:26Speaker 1: not being involved in her going out to barse and
- 46:29Speaker 1: you're talking about taking the bath and robe and all
- 46:31Speaker 1: the other stuff. Man, she don't need to be there
- 46:33Speaker 1: for no, for no meth like that. Man. Well, no, no, sir,
- 46:35Speaker 1: it's nothing like that. I mean, it's it's it's basically
- 46:38Speaker 1: a class where people get in touch with her with
- 46:41Speaker 1: their sensitive side and you get to actually, you know,
- 46:43Speaker 1: you learn about for play, what takes about you're talking
- 46:46Speaker 1: about eight weeks? Though eight weeks, sir? You must, you must,
- 46:52Speaker 1: how y'all even eight weeks it's only one night a week.
- 46:55Speaker 1: It's only on Wednesday, So really you only have eight
- 46:57Speaker 1: sessions eight sessions exactly. Okay, So why why did she
- 47:01Speaker 1: have to have a role though, I mean, why she not?
- 47:03Speaker 1: Why she just not showing up at the work or whatever. Well,
- 47:05Speaker 1: you have to bring your rope, sir. Everyone showers and
- 47:08Speaker 1: then they put their robe on and we we actually
- 47:10Speaker 1: coached them through. Here's how fourth play goes. Here's the intimacy,
- 47:14Speaker 1: here's sensual massaging. No no, no, no, fan you get
- 47:18Speaker 1: you're getting it twisted. What I'm asking you is you
- 47:20Speaker 1: you you're really not explaining yourself enough, Like what do
- 47:24Speaker 1: y'all do? Like like a classroom said, if I'm in
- 47:27Speaker 1: the class, I'm taking a class. There's nobody touching me,
- 47:30Speaker 1: ain't no, ain't no cold coming off, a nobody taking
- 47:33Speaker 1: no group showers, caning on what you got? What you saying? Like?
- 47:36Speaker 1: Having nothing nothing like that at all, but we do
- 47:40Speaker 1: come in contact with our sensual side. Now she will
- 47:44Speaker 1: have a partner in class, she'll deal with that one partner.
- 47:47Speaker 1: It's not until the fourth session that we really get
- 47:51Speaker 1: into some strong physical contact. Man, what are you talking about?
- 47:54Speaker 1: What are you talking about? You're talking about a partner
- 47:56Speaker 1: or like you're talking about another woman like some of
- 47:58Speaker 1: my teammates something. What you're talking about? Call another dude?
- 48:00Speaker 1: Everyone has the opposite sex partner. Yeah, you got to
- 48:03Speaker 1: be out your mind, sir. I don't even when you
- 48:05Speaker 1: call Why are you even why are you even calling
- 48:07Speaker 1: me with this right here? And you have to understand,
- 48:10Speaker 1: I'm I wasn't calling you. I was trying to reach
- 48:12Speaker 1: miss Klin. I don't care who are you trying to reach. Man,
- 48:15Speaker 1: you calling my house talking about my wife or some
- 48:18Speaker 1: girl that some partners and they don't get physical to
- 48:21Speaker 1: the fourth session of Carien. I ain't gonna be no
- 48:22Speaker 1: physical at all, sir. Basically, your wife is trying to
- 48:25Speaker 1: surprise you with a good thing. No, no, no, no,
- 48:27Speaker 1: no hold on you just hold on, gonna get this
- 48:29Speaker 1: straighten down real quick. Hold on, wait wait, wait, wait,
- 48:31Speaker 1: what are you what are you doing? I'm gonna call
- 48:33Speaker 1: my wife. That's what I'm what you don't understand. She's
- 48:35Speaker 1: trying to It's not good for you to call. She
- 48:37Speaker 1: wants to surprise you my wife. You let me handle
- 48:39Speaker 1: my wife the way I want to handle it. You
- 48:41Speaker 1: hold on, hold on this true. You called me back
- 48:45Speaker 1: when you get this message, called me back at the
- 48:47Speaker 1: house as soon as you get to seir Yah. Yeah, sir,
- 48:51Speaker 1: she wants to surprise you know, well, we got surprised already,
- 48:54Speaker 1: y'all Right. The first of all, she ain't gonna be
- 48:56Speaker 1: coming down to y'all. Little sessions and what do y'all say,
- 49:00Speaker 1: little do located at again, we'll love et cetera is
- 49:02Speaker 1: in the downtown area. How much this thing's supposed to
- 49:05Speaker 1: cost anyway, Well, like I said, she signed up for
- 49:07Speaker 1: eight sessions. It's it's uh one session per week. It's
- 49:10Speaker 1: one hundred dollars ese sessions. She's already paid the eight
- 49:12Speaker 1: hundred dollars, sir. She already paid what she's paid him
- 49:16Speaker 1: full to do all eight sessions. Man, I know well,
- 49:18Speaker 1: she ain't pay no eight hundred dollars to y'all. She's
- 49:20Speaker 1: starting this coming when she won't be there. I'm gonna
- 49:23Speaker 1: tell you that right now. And I and if you
- 49:24Speaker 1: if you got any of that money, you got any
- 49:26Speaker 1: of my money down there, you better be coming back
- 49:28Speaker 1: with it. I'm I'm sorry downtown, y'all downtown. I work downtown.
- 49:32Speaker 1: So guess what I don't will be there tomorrow to
- 49:35Speaker 1: get my money? You love, etcetera. Is nonrefundable when people
- 49:38Speaker 1: sign up with these classes. You can't change your mind
- 49:41Speaker 1: like that. Look, man, that's paperwork. Don't don't tell me
- 49:43Speaker 1: about what's not refundable. What's refundable was not refundable. It's
- 49:47Speaker 1: might show up. I don't have my money back, I
- 49:50Speaker 1: am mister. Would it make would you feel a little
- 49:52Speaker 1: bit more comfortable if I was her partner doing the sessions?
- 49:54Speaker 1: Are you married? Sure? Yes? I am? You are? Okay,
- 49:57Speaker 1: So let me have a session with your wife. Dot
- 49:58Speaker 1: I do a year with your about my wife. My
- 50:01Speaker 1: wife works with other men in the sessions. That that's fine.
- 50:04Speaker 1: So I'm gonna knock your wife down for about a
- 50:06Speaker 1: good you know you or whatever, and then we're gonna
- 50:08Speaker 1: see how you like about sir. Sir, I'm not gonna
- 50:10Speaker 1: go back and forth. We didn't go at the fourth
- 50:12Speaker 1: I'm gonna come down there. I'm getting my love back,
- 50:15Speaker 1: and I'm gonna go out forward with my business. And
- 50:17Speaker 1: then don't call this house no more. Don't word about wife.
- 50:19Speaker 1: Take a name off the little Leger or whatever. Ain't
- 50:22Speaker 1: gonna being a classes player. We're none refundable. I keep
- 50:26Speaker 1: telling you that, man, Who do you think you're wishing
- 50:28Speaker 1: your voice here? So I'm talking to you. I keep
- 50:31Speaker 1: telling you we're non refundable. Don't tell me it's not
- 50:33Speaker 1: refundable if she goes to any sessions yet, No, she
- 50:35Speaker 1: has not. You ain't using every share right, don't didn't
- 50:38Speaker 1: use the service here? Right, But we've already partnered her up.
- 50:40Speaker 1: We always have a partner for her. About that partner,
- 50:43Speaker 1: that's a part of us. Your wife? How about dad? Hey, sir,
- 50:45Speaker 1: quick bringing my wife into bringing my wife into what?
- 50:48Speaker 1: I'm gonna bring your wife into what? Maybe the problem
- 50:50Speaker 1: is you, Maybe you're not doing what you need to

- 53:23Speaker 1: lappinhold on tight, We got it for you. Here he
- 53:25Speaker 1: is the Strawberry Letter. Thank you, nephew. Subject pick me
- 53:30Speaker 1: or your Mama. Dear Stephen Shirley. I am a young
- 53:34Speaker 1: woman in my early thirties, and I have been dating
- 53:36Speaker 1: a forty four year old man for ten years. We
- 53:39Speaker 1: have had a great relationship until recently when his mother
- 53:43Speaker 1: moved to the city we live in. Since then, we've
- 53:47Speaker 1: been fussing more and I'm really starting to dislike him.
- 53:51Speaker 1: His true colors are showing all because of his mother.
- 53:55Speaker 1: We cannot move on with our lives. Because his mother
- 53:57Speaker 1: is stuck on her son not being with her whenever
- 54:01Speaker 1: he has extra time in his schedule, she manipulates him
- 54:05Speaker 1: into thinking she's going to die alone one day because
- 54:08Speaker 1: he doesn't see her daily. I have made him realize
- 54:11Speaker 1: that she wasn't complaining as much when she didn't live
- 54:13Speaker 1: this close to us. He told his mother that we
- 54:16Speaker 1: are finally going to get married, and she told him
- 54:19Speaker 1: that if he marries me, she will not be around
- 54:22Speaker 1: to watch it go down. I do not know when
- 54:26Speaker 1: things change between his mother and I because we've always
- 54:29Speaker 1: been cordial and respectful to each other. It makes me
- 54:32Speaker 1: wonder if my man has told her something about me.
- 54:35Speaker 1: He says he would never tell her anything negative about
- 54:38Speaker 1: me because he knows how she is. This man loves
- 54:41Speaker 1: his mama and he loves me. So I'm stuck in
- 54:44Speaker 1: the middle, always the one trying to smooth things over
- 54:48Speaker 1: with his mom while she dotes on her son and
- 54:51Speaker 1: overlooks me. I'm not trying to come between a mom
- 54:54Speaker 1: and a son. But come on, we are grown people.
- 54:58Speaker 1: We aren't married. We aren't married, so I can leave
- 55:01Speaker 1: him at any time. And he knows I'm ready to
- 55:05Speaker 1: call it quits, and he's begged me to give him
- 55:07Speaker 1: one give him more time to talk to his mom.
- 55:10Speaker 1: Should I leave him alone now and move on with
- 55:12Speaker 1: my life or should I go through with the wedding
- 55:15Speaker 1: and just avoid his nasty acting mama? After ten years,
- 55:22Speaker 1: I say it's time to blink or get off the
- 55:24Speaker 1: pot anyway. I mean, I just say, don't let this
- 55:28Speaker 1: forty four year old mama's boy, because that's what it is,
- 55:32Speaker 1: have any more of your time. If he doesn't put
- 55:34Speaker 1: you first now before he marries you, what do you
- 55:37Speaker 1: think marriage is going to be like with him? Every
- 55:41Speaker 1: time Mama calls, he's gonna leave you and run right
- 55:44Speaker 1: over there to be with mama. You say this man
- 55:47Speaker 1: loves you, well, I gotta say this. Love would put
- 55:51Speaker 1: you first. Love would stand up to his mama on
- 55:54Speaker 1: your behalf. Love would not let his mom manipulate him.
- 55:58Speaker 1: Love would not have to have you stuck in the middle.
- 56:03Speaker 1: You would be upfront. You would be out front where
- 56:05Speaker 1: you belong. And no, I don't think you should go
- 56:10Speaker 1: through with the wedding and just avoid his nasty acting mama.
- 56:13Speaker 1: You deserve way better, and it's time now for the boy,
- 56:17Speaker 1: the son, the mama's boy, to let his mom know
- 56:20Speaker 1: exactly how he feels about you. And you know, respectfully
- 56:24Speaker 1: of course it's his mom, but he's got to let
- 56:26Speaker 1: her know that she can't do this. I mean, like
- 56:29Speaker 1: you say, she wasn't doing it when she didn't live
- 56:31Speaker 1: in the same city. Now she is being very manipulative.
- 56:34Speaker 1: It reminds me of the Jefferson's the TV show George's
- 56:38Speaker 1: Mom and his mama and Wheezy that dynamic. So no,
- 56:42Speaker 1: don't let this go down. If you feel like you
- 56:44Speaker 1: need to get out of there because he's treating you
- 56:46Speaker 1: not like the queen you are, then you guts to go. Steve,
- 56:51Speaker 1: really ridiculous letter kind of in a way, because there's
- 56:55Speaker 1: so many things. You forty four year old man, you
- 56:58Speaker 1: and your early thirties. You've been dating a man for
- 57:02Speaker 1: ten years. What is going got a great relationship until
- 57:08Speaker 1: his mama moved to the city we live in. Oh
- 57:11Speaker 1: Hell came to town. Now, y'all been fussing, huh, I said,
- 57:19Speaker 1: Hell came to town. Oh Hell, here come Hell? Yea,
- 57:24Speaker 1: Hell came to town. Now here's his true colors are
- 57:31Speaker 1: showing all because of his mother. Here's what she says.
- 57:33Speaker 1: We cannot move on with our lives because his mother
- 57:36Speaker 1: is stuck on her son not being with her. Whenever
- 57:39Speaker 1: he has extra time in his schedule. Why does his
- 57:44Speaker 1: mama know his schedule. Let's start there. So now every
- 57:50Speaker 1: waning moment he got, he got to give to her.
- 57:54Speaker 1: And then she always told about she gonna die alone
- 57:57Speaker 1: one day because he don't see her daily. I mean,
- 58:00Speaker 1: it's cool if you could see your mama day. I
- 58:02Speaker 1: wish I could see mine, But my mama was living.
- 58:05Speaker 1: I didn't see her every day, you know, which I
- 58:08Speaker 1: had some more time, would I'll admit that, But every day,
- 58:12Speaker 1: you know, you know, if you was twelve, I saw
- 58:15Speaker 1: my mom married day I was twelve, I was at
- 58:17Speaker 1: the house. I saw every day that I was sixteen,
- 58:20Speaker 1: right up until I was seventeen and moved out. Once
- 58:23Speaker 1: I moved out, I never really could go back to
- 58:25Speaker 1: my mom and daddy house. Now, you Shirley's absolutely correct.
- 58:29Speaker 1: You got a mama's born on your head, and it
- 58:32Speaker 1: seemed like ain't nowhere around it. Now, he told his
- 58:36Speaker 1: mother that y'all was finally gonna get married. She told
- 58:39Speaker 1: him if he married me, she would not be around
- 58:41Speaker 1: to watch it go down. What do that mean? She
- 58:44Speaker 1: gonna die, she gonna move back out of town, She
- 58:47Speaker 1: ain't coming to the wedding, she gonna get sick. What
- 58:51Speaker 1: do it mean? I don't even know what that means.
- 58:54Speaker 1: I ain't gonna be around, lady. Why, yeah, she cain't
- 59:00Speaker 1: marry you. The boy can't marry you. Jesus all right, Steve,
- 59:11Speaker 1: hang on, we'll have part two of your response coming
- 59:14Speaker 1: up at twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry
- 59:18Speaker 1: Letters subjects picked me or your mama. We'll get back
- 59:22Speaker 1: into it right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve.
- 59:28Speaker 1: Come on, let's recap today's Strawberry Letters subject pick me
- 59:32Speaker 1: or your mama? For it for you, old man, she's
- 59:36Speaker 1: been dating for ten years. That's tricky right there. And
- 59:40Speaker 1: then his true colors came out when his mother moved
- 59:43Speaker 1: into the city. And now she got the man thinking that,
- 59:47Speaker 1: you know, and because if you're not spending all your
- 59:53Speaker 1: extra time with your mama, it's a problem. Well it
- 59:56Speaker 1: is a problem because nobody want to do that. Not
- 59:58Speaker 1: every damn waking minute, you know, and then all we
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: got down to he told his mother that we was
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: gonna get married. She told him and she married me,
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: that she gonna not be around and watch it go down. Dad.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: I didn't understand. Are you gonna die? Are you gonna
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: lead town? Are you sick about it? You just ain't
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: coming to the wedding whatever? And then the lady can't
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: figure out when things changed between him and the mother
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: because they always been cordial and respectful. Then it makes
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: me wonder if he just said something to the mamma.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: He say, he not, He just know how his mama is.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: So now you stuck in the middle, always trying to
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: smooth things over with his mom while she doats on
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: her son and overlooks me, Okay, this is atypical mama
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: boy red behavior. I'm not trying to come between a
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: mom and her son. That's not that you should have to.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: If you're in a relationship with a man, you shouldn't
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: want to come between. You shouldn't have to feel as
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: though I'm saying that you coming between a man and
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: his mother. You shouldn't be made to feel that way.
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: Something's wrong. Come on, we grown people now, she says,
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: we're not married, so I can leave him at any time. Now, Okay,
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: we're in the hold. A punch of breaks. All of
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: a sudden, the truth came out. I can leave him
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: any time. He knows. I'm ready to call it quiz
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: and he has begged me to give him more time
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: to talk to his mom. So you're ready to roll out?
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: Sounds like yeah, damn the ten years that ain't got
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: I ain't mad at you about that. Damned the ten years.
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: They don't need to put in ten more in just
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: like it. So damn the ten years, Damn the love,
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: Damn the wedding vials to hair with his mama. I
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: roll out, I'll pull up, pull up, duces perso. Whoo
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: I'm about now? Should I leave him alone now and
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: move on with my life? Or should I go through
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: the wed and just avoid his nasty ada Mamma, that's
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: gonna be impossible. Shirley's right. And I was talking to
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: somebody today, a contractor at my house, and he said
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: a counselor told him he went to counseling for his relationship.
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: When a person shows you who they are, believed them.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: That's why the guy said to counselor. I've heard that,
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: but he said a counselor told him today, when a
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: person shows you who they really are, believe them. Okay,
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: you should believe him. He showed you who he really is,
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: who he really gonna be loyal to, and who who's
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: really gonna he's gonna place first. Shirley said, you should
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: be first. Now he's shown you you're not going to
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: be first. I need some time to talk to her.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: The conversation is real simple, Mama, Mama, you're tripping now.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: You need to quit talking to her like that. This
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: my girl. Then you talking to a crazy gotta feeling
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: some kind of way, and that ain't right. And if
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: you keep doing that, I ain't bringing her around, and
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: I ain't coming around. Then you respect who I am
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: and what I want to do. That's That's a simple conversation. Now,
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: Mama's boys is hard to have that conversation because they
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: Mama's boy, you don't talk to me that way, Shut
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: your stupid ass up. And then he going and an
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: sit down somewhere. That's mama talking. Yeah, number Mama ain't
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: never done me like that, because number one, I ain't
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: never talked back to mine I couldn't wasn't lowed, but
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: it was my mother. But my mother never interfered. So
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: I don't know what to tell you, lady. I was
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: going about you seem like you said rather casual. We
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: ain't married, so I could leave him at any time.
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: He know I'm ready to call it quits. He'd begged
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: me to give him more time to talk to his mama.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: Should I leave him alone now and move on with
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: my life? Should I go through the wedding and just
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: avoid his nasty act? Month just go through with the wedding?
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: Right there? Yeah? Should I just leave him now? Or
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: should I just go through it? Go through with the wedding?
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: That don't even sound right. Listen, listen to me, and
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: don't be half from me. Tommy, Carla and Shelly. Don't
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: just sign up talking about you're gonna just go through
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: with the wed not what this is. I got this
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: way too many. You can't just go through it moments
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: in marriage. His advice I give to everybody we were
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: talking about this off the air. Three things you got
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: to have. You have to be in love with the person.
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: You have to like a person, and you have to
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: love the person. In love is different from loving them.
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: So you need to be in love. You need to
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: be you need to like them, and you need to
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: love them because on any given day, one of them
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: can be missing and other two guys to take take
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: care of you. Any on any date, one of them
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: could just turn up missing. I don't like his ass today.
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: So that's it, all right, I'm well, surely run all right,
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: listen up, post your comments, thank you, Steve. Post your
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: comments on today's Strawberry Letter at Steve Harvey FM on

- 1:05:37Speaker 1: podcast on demand. You're listening, all right, guys. It is
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: time to look into the crazy mind of Jay Anthony Brown.
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: Oh lord, I'm glad you did that. I'm glad you're
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: doing that. You are and a lot of time I
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: have foolishness and craziness a lot of time. What you
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: got today, knowledge with what's in there to day? Something
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: I have that's very well put. I put together a
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: little company that's called side Piece Helper. Now you won't
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: for a side piece, you won't be able to get
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: in touch with who you want to get in touch with.
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: I don't know, holidays, it's starting. It's gonna be toughly.
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: But with side Piece helpers can call and get out
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: all your frustration. They're not gonna judge you. That's because
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: you call a friend. They're gonna judge you. What I
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: told you, We're not doing that at side Piece Helper.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: Side Piece Helper is helping side Pieces get through the holidays.
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: They're listening, they're fly it. They got good advice. Tommy
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: knows about it. I mean you we talked about putting
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: them together, and so Timmy, what what you got now? Well,
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: I mean, you know they help us and we all
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: help us. You know what I mean. We're gonna try
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: to do what we can to get the message to
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: your love. Warr Okay, So what you have to do
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: is if you watch the movie Harriet, go on your
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: backyard and start saying it, and then the people next
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: to start singing, and sooner or later the message we
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: get wade on the way to the person that wanted
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: to get away. You get a message to the one
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: you love with. Let know, because I know these are
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: with everything in us, you know, you guys. One thing
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: about this show, we're always helping people that nobody out
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: now we kept we helped get them to the polls
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: and now this, Wow, we helped. Wow, this is this
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: is this is ball up in a knot time. This
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: is time you ball up in the night. You didn't
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: You didn't tell j about the side piece helper mobile app.
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: You didn't tell them, Yes, go to the Yeah, like
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: you need like a side piece on Christmas. You can't
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: get it to it. We will take a plate to
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: her from your house. Yes, And we take the plate
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: to her and we put the you know her gift.
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: We transport dad, you know whatever it is. And know
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: what we got. You know what else we got? We
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: got side piece Hamburger helps the dinner for them, you see,
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: that's the dinner for them to have, you know, because
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: they can't have with everybody else got you see what
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: I'm saying. Now you thinking, don't load the app and
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: get out of that harmony. We told her how good
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: your wife cooking is. Well, now she can taste it.
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: That's it. I hate the app all right? Coming out

- 1:11:14Speaker 1: have to look at that. You look at that and
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: then look up at the Jesus and all sins after
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: giving all? Right, would you would you rather skip a

- 1:12:37Speaker 1: Would you would you rather have your own golf stream

- 1:13:26Speaker 1: after the hour. Right after this, you're listening to the
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: Stave Harvey Morning Show. A Florida woman was arrested after
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: she and her date broke a sink off the wall
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: while fooling around in the ladies bathroom of an Irish pub.
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: Her date went into the ladies room after knocking back
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: a few drinks, and they had sex. When they finished,
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: they returned to their seats at the bar, and an
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: employee went into the bathroom a few minutes later and
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: noticed a major damage to the sink. Trammel tried to
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: play it cool and act like nothing happened, but the
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: pub manager called the cops. Travel had to confess to
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: getting busy in the bathroom and she was taking a jail. However,
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: her accomplice was not arrested. Yeah, because they were in
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: the ladies room. But yes, the best sex is at restaurant.
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: They got the best. They got the best bathroom, they
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: really do. What where what you so you've got them,
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: y'all ain't been in them. The unit sex bathroom, y'all
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: ain't been in there. No, I'm the only one in there,
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: or you could be the only one living in the house.
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: You're not comfortable with it in the bathroom with dinner. Yeah,
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: we got to go all the way down to the
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: day restaurant. We got to go to Applebeach. But we
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: have sex. That that's different kind of bathroom. You need
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: to go like a mastro that that's a bathroom right there.
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: You got a man work in the bathroom and anything.
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: You get your towels. It's so you're ready. Yeah, all right, Okay,
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: we're moving on. We'll have more of the Steve Harvey
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: Morning Show coming up right after this. You're listening to show,
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: all right. So here's the question, guys, what marks the
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: beginning of the holiday season for you? Is there a
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: specific song that puts you in a Christmas spirit? How
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: about a special movie? Carlaton The Temptations, that's Christmas Eve only, David. Yeah.
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: Also um Imitation of Life that's another good Christmas movie.

- 1:16:24Speaker 1: someday at Christmas Stevie wonder, I love that christ What
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: is that? You know some day Christmas? You don't know
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: that one. It ain't beat yourself. You ain't Donny No,
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: Donnie's number one. Yeah, that's number one. And Christmas Steve
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: Stevie's music. Oh that's my dude, Yeah for sure. Oh
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: the album, Oh talking book, Baby, your baby don Man
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: something the plan keeping me where he is? This other
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: me again? That's the boy boy, that's that damn talking book.
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: When he was sitting on that rock, Yeah, that boy
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: right there, he didn't know they had him on the rock. Yeah,
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: he thought he was drew the photo shoot in the
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: background to his ass out of that desert. Yeah, you
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: saw a little hand Searon putting on his head, trying
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: to feel his way around. See where it was I
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: tell you right here, listen to me. Let me tell
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: y'all something I've been around Steven. Steven ass ain't blind.
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: I don't believe it. Always say that I told Steven
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: this blind. That's a hoax. He had made a lot
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: of money on it. It's a head Listen to me, Hi,
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: stevee blind. You ain't never seen Stevie with a dog
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: all the He ain't never fair on it. Just to me. Yeah,
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: we'll never see him running up into nothing. He ain't
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: got no wheyer. He never had to unfold his stick
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: showing up places. We're moving on all right, coming up,
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: it's Steve Harvey and his closing remarks. You don't want
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: to miss it. At forty nine after the hour you're listening. Steve,
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: what do you have for us closing remarks? Wise today? Yeah,
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: here's something that I think is very helpful to people,
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: and it would have helped you open yourself up to
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: really what God truly can have for you. And the
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: reason I'm saying that is because oftentimes we limit what
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: God can do in our lives simply by the way
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: we think and simply by our expectations. God has no
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: He's limitless You can't put him in a box. You
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: can't put what God can do for you in the
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: parameters of your thinking. What you've got to do is
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: you've got to open up your mind so you can
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: be open to all of his goodness and what He
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: can do for you. And I'm saying that to say
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: this because a lot of times people ask God and
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: only think about stuff that they can see themselves attaining.
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: Basically with your check. There's a scripture that says you
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: have not because you ask not. Well, then most people go, Lord,
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: help me make my rent. And then I have to
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: ask you, well, don't he always Why would you not
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: ask God for a mortgage? Well, become a homeowner. Then
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: here comes the thinking of man when you start putting
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: in stuff like well, I don't make enough money, my
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: credit score, I haven't been on my job long enough,
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: I can't afford that. Therefore, why would I sit up
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: and ask for that? See, you, you're knocking yourself out
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: of so many blessings that God can have for you
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: by your limited thinking. Because God has no limits. So
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: you have to open up your mind, so you have
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: to start thinking of things that is in your imagination.
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: Why would you not ask God for a big house.
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: You don't think that God got enough sense based on
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: this scripture you have not called. You ask not Most
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: people don't ask because they don't see no way they
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: can get it. You don't think that if you ask
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: God for a big house, you don't think he got
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: enough sense to make a way for you to get
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: the house. You don't think that he knows that you
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: need more money and that he know how to make
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: a way for you to make more money. You don't
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: think he got that part figured out. You think he
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: needs your help figuring that out. You don't think that
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: he know that if you got X amount of dollars,
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: your credit score really don't matter. You don't think he
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: know that He know all of that. But you've limited
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: to see what he can do and how you can
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: move in your life because you won't think big enough.
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: That is a book that changed my life. The name
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: of the book is called The Magic of Thinking Big,
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: and it's by David Schwartz. It's the Magic of Thinking
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: Big and I didn't understand this until I was selling Amway.
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: Am Way was one of the greatest periods of my
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: life because it introduced me to a positive books It
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: introduced me to self motivation and self help books, and
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: those are really the only books I read outside of
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: the Bible. I don't read anything. I don't read novels,
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: love stories. I ain't got no time for that. But
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: the power of positive thinking bout Norman Vincent Peale, Thinking
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. The Magic of Thinking Big
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: by David Schwartz. I have time to read that because
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: the Magic of Thinking Big taught me something. It taught
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: me that it does not require any more brain power
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: to think big than it does to think small. It
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: doesn't require anymore. You ain't got the grunt look. You
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: can say Voteswagon, or you can say Rose Royce. It doesn't.
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: Your brain don't have to shift and burn most sales,
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: and you gotta throw yourself into something to say Rose
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: Royce versus Votswagon. It doesn't hurt more to say rent
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: or mortgage. It doesn't hurt no more to say new
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: card than use card. It doesn't hurt more to say
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: hand me down. Then it costs such than it cost
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: you to say brand new. If you buy this book,
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: The Magic of Thinking Big by David Schwartz, it's an
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: amazing way. It changed my thinking in my twenties, and
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: so I started thinking big. Once I started thinking big,
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: I started opening up to the possibilities of God. Because
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: God is big? Am I not right? God is big?
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: So why would you get in the way of his
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: bigness with your small mindedness. See, you're getting in the
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: way of your blessings by the way you think. You
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: keep thinking in terms of your paycheck. Get God ain't
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: in your paycheck. Get out of your paycheck, man, Get
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: out of your current situations. Where you are is just temporary.
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: God has another place for you. God got a great
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: life for you, but you got to invite him in
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: and let him show it to you. Quit wasting his
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: time with this little bit of man. Get out of
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: your own way. You are in your way with your
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: limited thinking. People ask me all the time, man, why
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: are you always at the meetings? Why are you? Why
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: don't you just sit out and take your day off?
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: Because I can't get where I'm going sitting down taking
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: my days off. I'm about the business of becoming success,
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: fun and happy. Now Am I successful? Yeah? Am I happy? Yeah?
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: Happier than I ever been? But and I have everything
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: I need. Can I tell y'all that I don't need
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: nothing else, but I'm in the wrong side of life.
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: I just won't. I'm not greedy. I'm not asking you
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: to give me nothing. I'm willing to work for other things.
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: I want. I want to see how the other class
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: of people live. I want to see what that's like.
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: I want to see what it's like when my grandchildren's
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: children will remember my name because I left them something,
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: because I created a legacy that I put money away
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: from my grandchildren and my children's children. That's what I'm
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: working on. You can do that. God is capable. Get
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: out your way. This is the book again, y'all. The
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: Magical Thing from Being by David Squad go By, go By,
