- 0:24Speaker 1: listening together. Please, I don't join me. You gotta turning?
- 1:22Speaker 1: You are you gotta turn to turnout? Turn You haven't
- 1:43Speaker 1: got to turn out to turn the water the water go? Come,
- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your thing, I show will good morning everybody.
- 2:04Speaker 1: You're listening to the voice, Come on dig me now.
- 2:09Speaker 1: One and only Steve Harvey got radio or self, Steve
- 2:16Speaker 1: Harvey got a radio show. Sometimes when I chuckle like
- 2:19Speaker 1: that reminds me of my oldest brother to pass or
- 2:21Speaker 1: where he used to laugh like that. It's kind of
- 2:23Speaker 1: funny how jeans get passed down through the line. I
- 2:26Speaker 1: don't know why I told y'all that, just want to
- 2:28Speaker 1: share with you, that's all. As always always kind of
- 2:32Speaker 1: ask God to help me, you know, and and and
- 2:35Speaker 1: and I had I had gotten off track a little
- 2:38Speaker 1: bit because one of the principles of success I want
- 2:43Speaker 1: to share with you all today is a law of attraction.
- 2:47Speaker 1: And that is a very very serious principle. It cannot
- 2:51Speaker 1: be ignored the law of attraction and I'm I'm not
- 2:55Speaker 1: going to be able to explain it to you as
- 2:59Speaker 1: well as the book Secrets can, or as well as
- 3:01Speaker 1: some people. I can only articulate it to you the
- 3:06Speaker 1: way that I see it. The law of attraction is very,
- 3:10Speaker 1: very real. The law of attraction is a principle of success.
- 3:15Speaker 1: It is something that everyone has to adhere to. Now,
- 3:20Speaker 1: whether you know the law of attraction or not, it
- 3:23Speaker 1: does not make it not exist for you. This is
- 3:28Speaker 1: the case where ignorance is not the excuse. The fact
- 3:33Speaker 1: that no one told it to you. There is no
- 3:37Speaker 1: pass for this one. The fact that you never heard
- 3:40Speaker 1: it before it does not allow you to do it
- 3:44Speaker 1: any other way. So let me see if I can
- 3:48Speaker 1: put it to you best I can. The law of attraction,
- 3:52Speaker 1: the law of attraction, to put it real simple, is
- 3:55Speaker 1: the thing that you focus on, the thing that you
- 3:59Speaker 1: talk about, the thing that you think of, is the
- 4:04Speaker 1: thing that you draw to you. It's what you attract
- 4:07Speaker 1: to you. That's basically the law of attraction. The thing
- 4:11Speaker 1: that you talk about, the thing that you think about,
- 4:16Speaker 1: the thing that you focus on, whatever it is that
- 4:21Speaker 1: is what you attract. The law of attraction does not
- 4:27Speaker 1: differentiate from positive and negative. It only does what it does.
- 4:34Speaker 1: What I am saying is this in the law of attraction.
- 4:40Speaker 1: No matter what you think of, no matter what occupies
- 4:44Speaker 1: your time, no matter what you say, or no matter
- 4:48Speaker 1: what the focus is, positive or negative, the law of
- 4:51Speaker 1: attraction knows neither one. It just attracts it. So let's
- 4:57Speaker 1: use some examples here. I can just your best example
- 5:01Speaker 1: always uses me that way. I ain't got to figure
- 5:04Speaker 1: out nothing. I can just tell you my side of it.
- 5:07Speaker 1: I was in a lot of debt one time in
- 5:10Speaker 1: my life, as before any of you knew me, so
- 5:15Speaker 1: you can understand. In case you're not think I don't.
- 5:19Speaker 1: I don't want you to think that this conversation is
- 5:21Speaker 1: about your income level, cause it's not. It doesn't matter
- 5:25Speaker 1: what the income level you are. The law of attraction
- 5:27Speaker 1: works in all aspects money, family, relationships, job, career, love.
- 5:34Speaker 1: It just works that way. Okay, here's the deal. I
- 5:37Speaker 1: kept saying, man, this debt is killing me. I got
- 5:41Speaker 1: to get out. That's what I thought was a good goal,
- 5:46Speaker 1: to get out of debt. But what I kept saying was,
- 5:50Speaker 1: you know, I kept talking about debt, and you know
- 5:53Speaker 1: what it kept doing. It kept attracting debt to me.
- 5:58Speaker 1: So guess what, so I could get out that's all?
- 6:03Speaker 1: Is that crazy? That is an amazing law to understand.
- 6:08Speaker 1: What turned it around for me was I started claiming
- 6:13Speaker 1: a life of abundance. God, I am seeking a life
- 6:19Speaker 1: of abundance. I want to have more than enough. I
- 6:23Speaker 1: want to be able to help other people. I just
- 6:27Speaker 1: want to have a law of attraction so that I
- 6:29Speaker 1: be able to provide my family the lifestyle that I
- 6:32Speaker 1: want to provide them. I want heavily, father, to be
- 6:35Speaker 1: able to be an example of your goodness and your
- 6:39Speaker 1: grace in my life. That is what I started saying.
- 6:44Speaker 1: And guess what, that's what I started attractive. I'm going
- 6:48Speaker 1: to have a great relationship with my children. I'm going
- 6:51Speaker 1: to be the father that I always wanted to be.
- 6:55Speaker 1: I'm going to be a good father. I'm going to
- 6:58Speaker 1: be a good husband. Now. I am going to do
- 7:01Speaker 1: the right things. I am going to be the type
- 7:04Speaker 1: of example that my sons can look no further and
- 7:08Speaker 1: go I can be like my dad. I want to
- 7:11Speaker 1: be able to be a place, a beacon of light
- 7:13Speaker 1: and hope for my daughters to come to. That's what
- 7:16Speaker 1: I started saying. That's what I started attracting to my life.
- 7:21Speaker 1: The law of attraction does not care if you want
- 7:25Speaker 1: it to be positive or negative. The law of attraction
- 7:30Speaker 1: just attracts whatever it is. You focus on, what you
- 7:34Speaker 1: think about, the words that come out your mouth. You
- 7:39Speaker 1: cannot overlook this principle of success and expect to make
- 7:43Speaker 1: it because of the fact that you've never heard of
- 7:45Speaker 1: the law of attraction, because of the fact that you
- 7:48Speaker 1: don't know how it really operates, It does not make
- 7:52Speaker 1: it not exist in your day. You can start today
- 7:57Speaker 1: attracting the right things to your life by changing what
- 8:02Speaker 1: you say, what you think, what you focus on. Change
- 8:10Speaker 1: the focus, change the thought, change the words that come
- 8:16Speaker 1: out your mouth, and guess what you change what you
- 8:20Speaker 1: attract to yourself. You have got to ask yourself why
- 8:24Speaker 1: is it? Man? Man, let me tell you something. Somebody
- 8:27Speaker 1: said the Bishop Jake's one time. They said, man, everything
- 8:31Speaker 1: you touch turns to gold. He said, no, I just
- 8:35Speaker 1: don't touch everything. Man, This it's crazy. Come on, man,
- 8:41Speaker 1: he has a focus. He has a focus. See, he
- 8:46Speaker 1: ain't just everywhere. Bring me any idea, let me try that. No, no, no, man,
- 8:51Speaker 1: he has a focus. He has a law of attraction.
- 8:54Speaker 1: That's working where he's attracting things to his life that
- 8:59Speaker 1: that's positive that he can't ask not to say, Bishop James,
- 9:03Speaker 1: don't have problems because we talk often and man, he
- 9:06Speaker 1: have them. Oh please understand. And he's not trying to
- 9:09Speaker 1: attract the problems. But what he will attract is the
- 9:13Speaker 1: proper solution for the problem. And ain't that all you need? Sometimes?
- 9:18Speaker 1: God did not say that it would be easy. He
- 9:22Speaker 1: just said he would be with you. And if God
- 9:25Speaker 1: is with you, who can be against you? God will
- 9:28Speaker 1: make your enemies your footstool. God is powerful man, His
- 9:31Speaker 1: word is true. He do what he say he gonna do. Now,
- 9:35Speaker 1: all we got to do is do some of what
- 9:38Speaker 1: we say. We ain't gonna do everything, just do some
- 9:40Speaker 1: of what we say. Okay, here's a deal. God is
- 9:43Speaker 1: going to do everything he say he gonna You and
- 9:47Speaker 1: I just got to do some of the stuff we
- 9:49Speaker 1: say we're gonna do because he already know we ain't
- 9:51Speaker 1: gonna do all of it. He clear on that, He
- 9:53Speaker 1: clear on that. All right, thank you you're listening, ladies
- 10:02Speaker 1: and gentlemen, boys and girls. Let me have your attention.
- 10:06Speaker 1: I am talking to everyone today who has ever had
- 10:14Speaker 1: the aspiration of becoming a millionaire. All, if you've ever
- 10:20Speaker 1: had the aspiration of holding a full time job, these
- 10:26Speaker 1: are the two groups that I'm talking to. Anyone who
- 10:30Speaker 1: has had the aspiration of holding a full time job
- 10:33Speaker 1: and anybody who has had the aspiration of becoming a millionaire.
- 10:38Speaker 1: This show is dedicated to the two coldish groups on
- 10:43Speaker 1: planet Earth. You dig. Welcome to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:48Speaker 1: What group you in, Sherley Strawberry, I'm in both, Steve,
- 10:52Speaker 1: thank you very much. Colin Farrel, good morning. Let's get it, Junior.
- 10:59Speaker 1: I got five yet, trying, nephew timing every day. I'm hustling.
- 11:05Speaker 1: I'm trying to be in there yourself well for you?
- 11:16Speaker 1: Oh you ain't. I ain't in this, ser got me?
- 11:20Speaker 1: I got I got somewhere else I'm head. Ain't nobody
- 11:23Speaker 1: to ask me that. So we just throwing it out, y'all.
- 11:26Speaker 1: That's my two favorite groups of people. Anybody that wants
- 11:29Speaker 1: to work and anybody want to be rich. I love
- 11:33Speaker 1: both of them people because you ain't got to be
- 11:36Speaker 1: rich to be my friend. Because I gotta tell you something.
- 11:39Speaker 1: None of my friends are rich. Do you know that? Really? Man?
- 11:45Speaker 1: None of my well, I got one favorite friends. Really,
- 11:48Speaker 1: I mean my friend friends, I mean my real friends,
- 11:55Speaker 1: real friends. Nine point nine percent of them are not
- 12:00Speaker 1: rich people. M But but what about running in those circles,
- 12:07Speaker 1: you know, the um like minded people and birds of
- 12:11Speaker 1: a feather flock together and all that. Yeah, that's all.
- 12:14Speaker 1: They just business acquaintances and associates. We make some money together,
- 12:18Speaker 1: we do some deals together, we go to dinner together.
- 12:21Speaker 1: You know, we pull for each other. But I don't.
- 12:25Speaker 1: We haven't been through enough to call them friends, you
- 12:28Speaker 1: know what I mean? Really? Yeah? Well, you know what,
- 12:31Speaker 1: remember back in the day when Oprah and Gail that
- 12:34Speaker 1: their friendship was, you know, so popular and everything. It
- 12:37Speaker 1: still is now. But back in the day, Gail was
- 12:40Speaker 1: Oprah's friends. So Oprah gave her a million dollars so
- 12:42Speaker 1: she could be a millionaire. Two remember that. I don't
- 12:45Speaker 1: feel that way. No, Well, Junior, Junior, me and you
- 12:54Speaker 1: we co workers, and I'm more like a mentor. You
- 12:57Speaker 1: are you can't buy money from me and called meat it.
- 13:04Speaker 1: We are here, you know, Nevil will be Okay, Well,
- 13:12Speaker 1: what have we learned right here? We ain't rich, he's
- 13:16Speaker 1: not Oprah and we're not Gale. Excuse me? Thomas Miles.
- 13:22Speaker 1: He is rich. I'm nephew Tommy, I'm nephew tummy. Wow,
- 13:29Speaker 1: I'm I don't never know what he do? All right,
- 13:33Speaker 1: Steve asked the cello right after this. You're listening to
- 13:38Speaker 1: the right now it is time for ask the cello.
- 13:43Speaker 1: The chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey is here and this one.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Steve is from Corey in Birmingham. Corey says, I've been
- 13:51Speaker 1: dating a girl for four months and we are college
- 13:53Speaker 1: singer seniors. I'm a computer nerd and I'm slated to
- 13:57Speaker 1: be valedictorian this year. My girl as a cheerleader and
- 14:01Speaker 1: she's in a sorority. She's popular. I'm not. I feel
- 14:05Speaker 1: like she's ashamed of me. When we're at my place,
- 14:08Speaker 1: she's all lovey dovey all the time. When we're on campus,
- 14:11Speaker 1: she barely acknowledges me. She says she's falling for me
- 14:15Speaker 1: and I'm perfect marriage material. But we don't need people
- 14:18Speaker 1: in our business, so it's best to keep our relationship quiet.
- 14:22Speaker 1: What do you think is really going on? Is she
- 14:24Speaker 1: ashamed of me? Yeah? And they saw no listen to me.
- 14:30Speaker 1: It's okay, it's okay. Yeah, he's a nerd. Yeah, he's
- 14:38Speaker 1: a nerd. He damned it about vale Victorian. Very few
- 14:43Speaker 1: cute men are value Victorians. A lot of cute women
- 14:47Speaker 1: be val very very did you say vale vic Hey
- 15:00Speaker 1: the title? I wasn't fitting to be, no point near
- 15:05Speaker 1: that though. They didn't even let me graduate in the front.
- 15:11Speaker 1: So it's very few attractive men that become that high
- 15:15Speaker 1: level are smart. Now a lot of women can do it.
- 15:19Speaker 1: And so what didn't happen to you? Bro? Is you
- 15:22Speaker 1: marriage material? But you're not popular? She don't. She ain't
- 15:27Speaker 1: really flouncing with you in front of nobody because you
- 15:29Speaker 1: are nerve, But just accept its role. You're being used,
- 15:34Speaker 1: you're smart, you probably help her with a school work,
- 15:37Speaker 1: and you're being used for your body and dog. That's it.
- 15:43Speaker 1: That's it. Yeah. Is flouncing a word? Well? I my
- 15:51Speaker 1: mom used to tell me that all the time you're flouncing?
- 15:57Speaker 1: Is you checking me? I was just talking to the
- 16:00Speaker 1: ladies asking them a flowers, I say it flouncing? You
- 16:04Speaker 1: want flouncing the world? Yes? Ignorant as Let's get to
- 16:09Speaker 1: Raven in Dover, Delaware, flo She says, my best friend
- 16:13Speaker 1: in and I are in our early thirties. I am single,
- 16:16Speaker 1: and she just got divorced. Since her divorce, she loves
- 16:20Speaker 1: to go out and get sloppy drunk and have sex
- 16:22Speaker 1: with old friends or co workers and a few one
- 16:25Speaker 1: night stands here and there. I hate to see herself
- 16:28Speaker 1: destruct like this. And one of our close male friends
- 16:31Speaker 1: told me that I will be judged by the company
- 16:33Speaker 1: I keep because birds of a Feather flock together, Uncle Steve?
- 16:37Speaker 1: Is this true? Will God think that I'm a drunk
- 16:40Speaker 1: and an easy lay if I keep hanging with her? Well? Yeah,
- 16:44Speaker 1: I mean he told you right, that's how guys do it,
- 16:46Speaker 1: y'all together. You wit all the time. You must approve
- 16:50Speaker 1: of this lifestyle and behavior. So yeah, quite naturally, even
- 16:54Speaker 1: though it may be so opposite from the truth. But
- 16:59Speaker 1: the shit, it's going to be okay, all right, it's
- 17:04Speaker 1: gonna spend a little bit more time with this one.
- 17:06Speaker 1: See her, We'll see what she want to do because
- 17:08Speaker 1: your girl just letting it go. Yeah one night stand. Yeah. See,
- 17:17Speaker 1: that's why I like married men can't go out with
- 17:19Speaker 1: single men because your wife eventually gonna ask you about
- 17:23Speaker 1: something he did, because she's gonna see her here something crazy.
- 17:25Speaker 1: Birds of Fleather Flock Together. The association brings on participation
- 17:29Speaker 1: will be applied to you. Now that doesn't make it true,
- 17:32Speaker 1: but it will be applied. Yeah, so she should stop
- 17:36Speaker 1: bringing her being her friend or just hanging out with her. Well,
- 17:39Speaker 1: you ain't gonna stop being her friend. But you can't
- 17:41Speaker 1: take all your friends everywhere. Now, Hello, you have to
- 17:45Speaker 1: categorize your friends. Yeah, see some of my friends. I
- 17:50Speaker 1: can go watch a baseball game with him. I got
- 17:53Speaker 1: some friends, but I got friends I can't take around
- 17:58Speaker 1: none of my jobs, not even this one that's a
- 18:06Speaker 1: fun job. Yeah, A loose one. Yeah, a crazy one.
- 18:10Speaker 1: There's some friends of mine that can't come around Shirley.
- 18:13Speaker 1: You know, Yeah, everybody met a couple of my friends
- 18:18Speaker 1: because I know I can't call it a met one
- 18:21Speaker 1: because I know calling hood she'd be able to handle.
- 18:25Speaker 1: You ain't handle it. So I don't bring him up
- 18:28Speaker 1: around you because you're gonna say something, your little prim
- 18:29Speaker 1: proper ass, and then you anyway, all right, So yeah,
- 18:35Speaker 1: so just limit your your time. He is a G.
- 18:39Speaker 1: Just yes, shout out, o geez, you're a real o G.
- 18:51Speaker 1: All right, cello. This is from Jericho and Monroe, Louisiana.
- 18:54Speaker 1: She says, I'm a newly wed twenty five year old woman,
- 18:57Speaker 1: and I need your advice. My husband is very sensitive
- 19:01Speaker 1: and I can't stand making love to him. During sex,
- 19:05Speaker 1: he whimpers softly. If it gets really good to him,
- 19:09Speaker 1: he cries, Oh, this is such a turn off. A
- 19:16Speaker 1: few times I stopped in the middle of sex and
- 19:18Speaker 1: asked him just to be quiet. When I asked my
- 19:20Speaker 1: therapist about it, she says, it's normal and some men
- 19:24Speaker 1: make macho noises and yell out, but my husband is
- 19:26Speaker 1: different and he makes softer noises. I prefer more manly moaning.
- 19:31Speaker 1: And I never ever want to see a man crying
- 19:34Speaker 1: after sex. How can I get it to stop? Oh? No,
- 19:38Speaker 1: I ain't. You just can't help everybody. It's good good.
- 19:56Speaker 1: Oh man, shut up. I've never heard of a dude
- 20:11Speaker 1: doing that before. I'm sorry, I just never have, and
- 20:14Speaker 1: I can't help you. He didn't. He didn't cry for
- 20:17Speaker 1: y'all got married. Well, did you say that for when
- 20:21Speaker 1: you got married? Yeah? They may have. They're only twenty five,
- 20:24Speaker 1: they're young. Yeah, what are you crying for? He says
- 20:28Speaker 1: what she says when it really gets good? All right,
- 20:31Speaker 1: we gotta move on though. Coming up next, nephew Tommy
- 20:34Speaker 1: is here. To run that brankback right after this. You're
- 20:38Speaker 1: listening Dave Harvey Morning Show. Right now, it's time for
- 20:42Speaker 1: the nephew to run that brank back. What you got
- 20:45Speaker 1: for us? Now? How much money do we have any account? Past?
- 20:52Speaker 1: Watch it now? Came? It came in three cents. I
- 20:54Speaker 1: broke it up. Now, how much money do we have
- 20:58Speaker 1: any account? Pass the pastor? Pastor, how much money do
- 21:03Speaker 1: we have in the account? Let's go Hello, Hello, I'm
- 21:07Speaker 1: trying to reach Pastor Hayes. To see Pastor Hayes. How
- 21:11Speaker 1: are you doing? This? Is? This is brother Lenna Thompson.
- 21:14Speaker 1: How you doing it? I'm good brother? And how can
- 21:17Speaker 1: I help you today? Past I'm actually one of your
- 21:20Speaker 1: members at the church, and I want to just commend
- 21:23Speaker 1: you that you're doing a good job the way you
- 21:26Speaker 1: are displaying safety. Let me say that first and foremost. Okay, cool,
- 21:30Speaker 1: thank you. You know, we just want everybody to be
- 21:32Speaker 1: safe and healthy. And your name again, Brother Lenna Thompson. Okay,
- 21:38Speaker 1: And and and other times I'm I'm trying about to
- 21:40Speaker 1: be in the middle of dinner. How can I help you? Brother? Well,
- 21:43Speaker 1: here's what I wanted to ask you, man, uh pas,
- 21:46Speaker 1: I want to ask you this. I know, you know
- 21:48Speaker 1: a lot of people are going through different things and
- 21:50Speaker 1: and people are, you know, trying to make sure they
- 21:53Speaker 1: keep food and stuff in the house because you know,
- 21:55Speaker 1: time like this, you know you kind of want to
- 21:57Speaker 1: stay put, and but you want to make sure you
- 21:59Speaker 1: gotta know of food and water and things like that.
- 22:01Speaker 1: So but but but what I wanted my reason for
- 22:04Speaker 1: calling you is I wanted to ask you how how
- 22:07Speaker 1: much money do we have in the account? Come again,
- 22:12Speaker 1: the church account? How much money do we have in there? Brother? Brother?
- 22:16Speaker 1: What what do you say? Your name was? Again? Brother?
- 22:19Speaker 1: My name is a brother, Lennah Thompson. Okay, Brother Thompson.
- 22:22Speaker 1: How did you get my personal self one number to
- 22:24Speaker 1: be calling me at home the time of day? Well?
- 22:26Speaker 1: I got this numb from one of the brothers at
- 22:28Speaker 1: the church. What what brother? The church do they know
- 22:31Speaker 1: not to give my person the number out to to
- 22:34Speaker 1: people I don't know you? Well, I'm a I'm a
- 22:36Speaker 1: but I'm a but I'm a member though I'm a member. Well,
- 22:39Speaker 1: how I long you've been a member? Because I've been
- 22:41Speaker 1: passing this church for ten years and your name ain't
- 22:44Speaker 1: familiar to me? How long? How long? Have you been
- 22:45Speaker 1: a member at my church? I've been a member of
- 22:48Speaker 1: probably going on going on three years now, but I ain't.
- 22:52Speaker 1: I ain't been since you know, since that day I joined,
- 22:56Speaker 1: you know, I you know, I kind of got called
- 22:57Speaker 1: out there, you know how I go. But wait, wait, wait, wait,
- 23:01Speaker 1: wait wait wait. So you you've been a member of
- 23:03Speaker 1: my church two or three years, you ain't been to
- 23:04Speaker 1: the church and two to three years are you calling
- 23:07Speaker 1: me to ask me about finances of my church? Well,
- 23:10Speaker 1: I'm understand what you're looking for. Well, I am a member,
- 23:13Speaker 1: So I mean I do how to don't I how
- 23:16Speaker 1: the right to know what we got in there? What
- 23:17Speaker 1: we got in the account? Actually you don't. You don't
- 23:20Speaker 1: have to write to that question. If you don't actively
- 23:22Speaker 1: come to the church, you can't come to the church,
- 23:24Speaker 1: sign up the church, and then call me three years
- 23:27Speaker 1: later asking me what we got going on at church.
- 23:30Speaker 1: So I need to understand what is your purpose? What? Well,
- 23:33Speaker 1: like I say, everybody going through hard times, I'm trying
- 23:37Speaker 1: to see what we got in there, because you know,
- 23:39Speaker 1: I need to pick up a few things from the stove.
- 23:41Speaker 1: I don't have the money right now, but shouldn't I
- 23:45Speaker 1: be able to lean on my church, though you can
- 23:47Speaker 1: lean on it. We've done a lot of stuff in
- 23:49Speaker 1: the community. We've been seeding the elderly. We got a
- 23:51Speaker 1: full bank. We've been cashed happing people some money that
- 23:55Speaker 1: when we can. But you ain't been at this church
- 23:57Speaker 1: and three years. You can't call me out of three
- 23:59Speaker 1: years and think I'm about to give you some money
- 24:01Speaker 1: for something. I don't even know if you're a real member.
- 24:04Speaker 1: I am a real man. I'm a real member. So
- 24:06Speaker 1: hold on, hold on, hold on, hold hold on past
- 24:08Speaker 1: hold on, no, no, no, hold on, no, no, no,
- 24:11Speaker 1: yould on, by boy, Look here, I'm trying to sit
- 24:14Speaker 1: down here and dinner with my family. You sitting here
- 24:17Speaker 1: on my last nerve. Look here, brother Thompson, I don't
- 24:19Speaker 1: know you. I ain't never heard of you. You or
- 24:22Speaker 1: am not about to call here and try to get
- 24:24Speaker 1: some money out of me. And you ain't even member
- 24:26Speaker 1: of the church. You can't. I am a member of
- 24:29Speaker 1: the church because you come to the church one time,
- 24:31Speaker 1: you ain't been back in three years, and you come
- 24:34Speaker 1: to me for some money. I am a member, and
- 24:37Speaker 1: your mama, you are not a member of this church, sir.
- 24:39Speaker 1: I am a member of the church. Look, look, look,
- 24:42Speaker 1: let me tell you something. I know. This ain't no time.
- 24:46Speaker 1: Let me tell you where you can't call my church
- 24:48Speaker 1: two or three years ago and called me three years later,
- 24:51Speaker 1: get my number from somebody and ask me for money
- 24:54Speaker 1: because you're going through hard time. Now, if you was
- 24:56Speaker 1: a true member of the church, you'll understand how we
- 24:58Speaker 1: work and how we give money to people that are struggling.
- 25:01Speaker 1: I just delivered forty meals today to our elderly. Huh.
- 25:06Speaker 1: Last week we cash out people's money to go pick
- 25:08Speaker 1: up gross you compare, what do you need? Do you
- 25:11Speaker 1: need my cash? App? Then do you need my cash? Boy? Boy?
- 25:15Speaker 1: You gonna make me because you ain't even tirting? So
- 25:18Speaker 1: how are you not tiring? And thank you who told you?
- 25:20Speaker 1: I have felt on bad times? Didn't I say I
- 25:23Speaker 1: fell on bad times? You feel on bad times for
- 25:25Speaker 1: three years? Hey? Hey, you know it takes longer for
- 25:29Speaker 1: some people. Okay, why are you? Why are you judging
- 25:32Speaker 1: me in opposed to trying to figure out how to
- 25:34Speaker 1: cash apt me so I can get on a number
- 25:36Speaker 1: of my church. I don't know if you some scam
- 25:39Speaker 1: artists trying to get money from the church. Sir, I
- 25:41Speaker 1: have never met you. I don't know you. Matter of fact,
- 25:44Speaker 1: I'm about to call it the deacons to see who
- 25:46Speaker 1: you are and why they would give my number to
- 25:48Speaker 1: some points to call me and ask me for some money. Hey,
- 25:51Speaker 1: let me say this to you. If you don't cash
- 25:53Speaker 1: at me, then I'm funny at all the members. I
- 25:56Speaker 1: know you. I know our church ain't no mega church.
- 25:58Speaker 1: You know we got three for the members already know so.
- 26:02Speaker 1: But but I wouldn't let every member know that you're
- 26:05Speaker 1: not cash happing me to help me in a time
- 26:07Speaker 1: and need. I will do that. Rob Thompson, you you
- 26:10Speaker 1: can let him know. You can Facebook and Instagram and
- 26:12Speaker 1: you can put it on that TikTok and cag me
- 26:14Speaker 1: in it. I ain't giving you a dime. I don't
- 26:17Speaker 1: know you. I ain't never heard of you. Matter of fact,
- 26:20Speaker 1: you need to get off my phone. I got dinner
- 26:22Speaker 1: with my wife about to go on, man, and I
- 26:24Speaker 1: ain't got tired of me going back and forth with you.
- 26:26Speaker 1: I need to know who gave you my number so
- 26:29Speaker 1: I can call them up and tell them don't be
- 26:31Speaker 1: giving my number of some stranger who ain't been our
- 26:33Speaker 1: church in two to three years. Ain't gonna ask me
- 26:36Speaker 1: for some money, some cash out or if you don't
- 26:38Speaker 1: get off this phone, who gave you? Okay, so let
- 26:41Speaker 1: me ask you something. So so you know Deacon Marvin

- 37:21Speaker 1: I like them. Okay, here we go, all right, twas
- 37:25Speaker 1: the night before Christmas. Please try to be gone because
- 37:29Speaker 1: I'm getting my life together and I'm moving on. Babu bye,
- 37:33Speaker 1: Merry Christmas. I got hit it with the Merry Christmas.

- 37:59Speaker 1: What I eat? A lot of words? Thank you? All right,
- 38:04Speaker 1: more of this crazy ignorant show. Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 38:08Speaker 1: Right after this you're listening to show. According to the
- 38:14Speaker 1: New York Times, Christmas tree sales are booming as pandemic
- 38:19Speaker 1: weary Americans seek solace. So guys, I have to ask you.
- 38:23Speaker 1: Are you decorating more for the holidays or less? Hell Yale,
- 38:28Speaker 1: I'm lit up up mine too. What what's your favorite
- 38:37Speaker 1: holiday tradition? Steve ig No fried ostris and hot rolls.
- 38:46Speaker 1: I want to know hot three question. Let me ask
- 38:52Speaker 1: you question, Tom, do you like eggna? I do I
- 38:56Speaker 1: love Okay, okay, let me ask you a question. Do
- 38:58Speaker 1: you like hot rolls? Yeah? Who don't? Okay, let me
- 39:01Speaker 1: ask you another question. Do you like fried oysters? I
- 39:06Speaker 1: really like him grill, but okay, I like him fried. Now.
- 39:11Speaker 1: If I like fried Oystris and I like hot rolls
- 39:14Speaker 1: and I like egg na, how you can't see that together?
- 39:17Speaker 1: But how did you bring all that together? One day? Though?
- 39:20Speaker 1: Because when my father was living, he had a tradition.
- 39:29Speaker 1: When my brothers and I grew up, he just wanted
- 39:32Speaker 1: to see his sons all together on Christmas morning. That's all.
- 39:36Speaker 1: That was his guilt. Can my sons come and sit
- 39:39Speaker 1: with me on Christmas morning? So we all went by
- 39:42Speaker 1: his house on Christmas morning. Every Christmas morning he fried Oystris. Well,
- 39:46Speaker 1: my mama know I love egg now, so she might,
- 39:48Speaker 1: And then my mom would make some hot rolls with it,
- 39:51Speaker 1: and you put them fried on She between that hot
- 39:53Speaker 1: roll oh like a minute. That's that's a minute paper
- 40:02Speaker 1: and there some eggna with some nuting man on it.
- 40:06Speaker 1: So as my sons have gotten older and all live
- 40:10Speaker 1: away from home, I started the tradition years ago. So
- 40:13Speaker 1: all my sons on Christmas morning, No matter where they are,
- 40:17Speaker 1: they fly home, they come home, they sit with their
- 40:20Speaker 1: daddy on Christmas morning, have fried ousts, eggnog and high rolls.
- 40:25Speaker 1: They like it, they're not crazy. Or two of them
- 40:29Speaker 1: don't care for egg nog. But you have to drink
- 40:32Speaker 1: it though, or else on christ or you ain't no Harby,
- 40:38Speaker 1: give me my damn name back, you know? Okay, okay,
- 40:43Speaker 1: so what you want to be you ain't nothing else.
- 40:48Speaker 1: So Steve tell us about the new tradition elf on
- 40:50Speaker 1: the shelf. All you know about that because they talked
- 40:55Speaker 1: about it. Tommy talked about it. Is Yeah, so you
- 41:02Speaker 1: thought I would house Marjorie does that. I'm against it.
- 41:06Speaker 1: But this year for the grandkids, it's living with us.
- 41:10Speaker 1: So can we be talking about this alfh on the shelf?
- 41:13Speaker 1: We're just talking about alf and the shelf. You don't
- 41:16Speaker 1: go case some kids is listening. I think it's up
- 41:18Speaker 1: there with Shy. I promise you it ain't up there
- 41:21Speaker 1: with Sunna. Take it from me. The man ain't bought
- 41:26Speaker 1: a damn thing. But I'm glad you brought that up. Tommy.
- 41:32Speaker 1: How conscientious of you? Yeah, Tommy, what countree you got

- 51:29Speaker 1: hold on tight. Here it is the straw baby Letter.
- 51:31Speaker 1: You're gonna love this letter, Steve subject. I'm a star,
- 51:35Speaker 1: but my friends say I suck. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm
- 51:40Speaker 1: forty nine years old, but I look thirty. Praise the Lord.
- 51:45Speaker 1: I'm an entertainer by nature. I love life and I
- 51:48Speaker 1: celebrate it every day. I'm high energy and always the
- 51:52Speaker 1: life of the party wherever I go. Recently, I started
- 51:56Speaker 1: an Instagram account to showcase my talent, and I have
- 51:59Speaker 1: a hundred followers that like my work. I learned from you, Steve,
- 52:05Speaker 1: that it's never too late to pursue your dreams. So
- 52:08Speaker 1: here's my issue. It's never too late. So here's my issue.
- 52:16Speaker 1: My so called friends told me that I'm not as
- 52:19Speaker 1: good as I think I am, and when they come
- 52:21Speaker 1: to my shows, it's just for a good laugh. They
- 52:24Speaker 1: told me that they have been laughing at me and
- 52:27Speaker 1: not with me for the longest time. But they didn't
- 52:30Speaker 1: have the heart to tell me. Can you imagine how
- 52:33Speaker 1: I felt? I was down and felt defeated at first,
- 52:37Speaker 1: but then I said, scrow them. I miss hanging out
- 52:41Speaker 1: with my friends, but I know in my soul that
- 52:43Speaker 1: I'm bound for greatness. What should I do now? I
- 52:47Speaker 1: need support and positive input, not a bunch of haters
- 52:50Speaker 1: laughing at me. Where do I go from here? Should
- 52:53Speaker 1: I stay on track and pursue my passion or listen
- 52:56Speaker 1: to my hating friend. I want to leave my job
- 52:59Speaker 1: and pursue the It's full time, so please help me.
- 53:02Speaker 1: I don't want to make a big mistake. Well, this
- 53:06Speaker 1: entire letter, you didn't say what your talent is. You
- 53:10Speaker 1: didn't say if you were a singer, dancer, actress, comedian, etc.
- 53:14Speaker 1: You didn't say, I'm guessing possibly a comedian. Since you
- 53:18Speaker 1: say they're laughing at you, not with you. I knew
- 53:21Speaker 1: you were going to say that, Steve, she could be
- 53:23Speaker 1: a singer, though, I'm sure when they told you that. Yes,
- 53:27Speaker 1: of course you felt defeated, not to mention hurt, and
- 53:30Speaker 1: you are right, it's never too late to pursue your dreams.
- 53:33Speaker 1: You shouldn't give up on your dreams. Many talented people
- 53:36Speaker 1: say you know they got their starts later in life,
- 53:39Speaker 1: and maybe your friends are hating you. Don't know. So
- 53:43Speaker 1: what I say to you is you need to get
- 53:44Speaker 1: in front of some professionals who can really tell you,
- 53:48Speaker 1: you know, if you have some talent or not, and
- 53:51Speaker 1: you can you know, then decide if it's something you
- 53:53Speaker 1: want to pursue. But please, Lord, please do not quit
- 53:57Speaker 1: your job before you get a professional opinion. Okay, because
- 54:01Speaker 1: I hate to say it, but but what if your
- 54:04Speaker 1: friends are writing, then you quit your job. Okay, don't
- 54:06Speaker 1: do that, all right, Just get in front of some professionals. Um,
- 54:10Speaker 1: you know, if you have some tapes, if you have
- 54:12Speaker 1: some videos and stuff, send them around to see what
- 54:15Speaker 1: they think. Some real people, all right, who are in
- 54:17Speaker 1: the business. All right, Steve, you ain't gonna do none
- 54:20Speaker 1: of that. Later here to professional opinion, right here, Let's
- 54:23Speaker 1: just gonna get this. Cut the music off, make sure
- 54:28Speaker 1: she hit me. Clear this up. Let me show you
- 54:31Speaker 1: line by line how this is not good. I'm forty
- 54:36Speaker 1: nine years old, but I look thirty. Who next line,
- 54:44Speaker 1: I'm an entertainer by nature? The hell do that? Mere?
- 54:49Speaker 1: I'm assuming nature is an offshoot of the word natural,
- 54:56Speaker 1: meaning I'm an entertainer naturally. Now, let me explain something
- 55:01Speaker 1: to you. When you're naturally an entertainer, it don't mean
- 55:05Speaker 1: you good at it. Your ass just like a fool
- 55:08Speaker 1: around and clown. And then here you come, just what
- 55:12Speaker 1: I thought. I love life. I celebrated every day. I'm
- 55:17Speaker 1: high energy. I'm always the life of the party wherever
- 55:21Speaker 1: I go. Okay, you know how many people is that
- 55:25Speaker 1: ain't making a damn dollar at it? You're ready for
- 55:28Speaker 1: you next one. I started in Instagram account showcase my talent.
- 55:32Speaker 1: I have a few hundred followers that like my work.
- 55:36Speaker 1: Excuse me, I don't know how long you've been doing this,
- 55:40Speaker 1: but a few hundred is like three hundred people. There's
- 55:43Speaker 1: people that sit on Instagram all day and hit that
- 55:46Speaker 1: little heart say they like something. Now, it's a lot
- 55:49Speaker 1: of people that ain't got no talent that's on Instagram
- 55:52Speaker 1: liking other people that ain't got talent. Baby, that don't
- 55:55Speaker 1: mean nothing has in them. Mass you can they buy
- 55:58Speaker 1: your music or anything. She'll singer, Shelley, she'll singer and
- 56:03Speaker 1: a bad one, but she a bad one now because
- 56:05Speaker 1: she stopped singing and just started explaining stuff to people.
- 56:09Speaker 1: Then jump right back into song. She like a musical,
- 56:14Speaker 1: like a movie. Yeah, she like a music Oklahoma. Yeah,
- 56:19Speaker 1: she'll be talking you know what. And then it's came
- 56:22Speaker 1: to me. I been looking for love and I find died.
- 56:36Speaker 1: That's what I did, girl, I found loving that Okay.
- 56:39Speaker 1: Then this is where the letter takes an ugly turn.
- 56:42Speaker 1: I learned from you, Steve. See, I don't like getting
- 56:46Speaker 1: drug into this type mess right here because I ain't
- 56:49Speaker 1: seen you. So if you're forty nine, I ain't definitely
- 56:52Speaker 1: ain't told you you look thirty. Ah. I'm an entertainer
- 56:57Speaker 1: for real, not by nay. It's what I do. My
- 57:02Speaker 1: Instagram ain't got two three hundred people on here liking
- 57:05Speaker 1: my work. I don't know, lady to say looking good.
- 57:10Speaker 1: So here's my issue. My soul called friends told me
- 57:14Speaker 1: I'm not as good as I think I am, and
- 57:18Speaker 1: when they come to my shows, it's just for a
- 57:21Speaker 1: good lad. They told me they've been laughing at me
- 57:24Speaker 1: and not and not with me for the longest time.
- 57:29Speaker 1: So sad, but DATA had a heart to tend when
- 57:31Speaker 1: they just told you. Helen. Now I'm here to tell
- 57:37Speaker 1: you too, Shelly. Talking about a professional opinion, I'm gonna
- 57:40Speaker 1: give it to you right after we get She asked
- 57:45Speaker 1: for it. She needs that. Um, all right, Look, we'll
- 57:49Speaker 1: have part two of Steve's response coming up. The subject
- 57:53Speaker 1: of this letter is I'm a star, but my friends
- 57:56Speaker 1: say I suck. We're gonna get into it at twenty
- 57:59Speaker 1: three after the hour when we come back right after this.
- 58:02Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, Steve, Come on, let's recap today's letter.
- 58:10Speaker 1: But somebody think they molding. I'm a star, but my
- 58:15Speaker 1: friends say I suck. Now, if this is all, this
- 58:20Speaker 1: is a contradictory. This letter goes downhill. I'm forty nine,
- 58:25Speaker 1: but I look thirty right there. I'm an entertainer by nature.
- 58:30Speaker 1: I got a few hundred followers that like my work.
- 58:33Speaker 1: You're forty nine. You got three hundred people. You're forty nine.
- 58:37Speaker 1: See Timmy Phillip comedy clubs, venues sell out all over
- 58:42Speaker 1: the country. Kills selling our shows. These dudes is famous.
- 58:47Speaker 1: You can't go no, damn well and Philip a round. No,
- 58:55Speaker 1: she need a professional opinion. See, you can't go No.
- 58:58Speaker 1: What anybody bought now, I take it to see you.
- 59:02Speaker 1: The fact that you won't tell us what you do
- 59:05Speaker 1: is a sign that you must not do it well,
- 59:08Speaker 1: I'm entertaining. Now I'm with Shelly. Now do you tell
- 59:11Speaker 1: jokes or do you sing? Or is it a combination?
- 59:15Speaker 1: Or is it when you start singing, it's a damn joke.
- 59:21Speaker 1: My so called friends told me I'm not as good
- 59:23Speaker 1: as I think I am, and when they come to
- 59:25Speaker 1: my shows, it's just for a good laugh. They told
- 59:27Speaker 1: me that they've been laughing at me and not with
- 59:29Speaker 1: me for the longest, so you might be telling jokes
- 59:32Speaker 1: or trying to do something, but they didn't have a
- 59:34Speaker 1: heart to tell me. Can you imagine how I felt? Uh? Me,
- 59:40Speaker 1: I can't. I can't relate to this story. Head you
- 59:45Speaker 1: come my show laughing at me. I have you had?
- 59:47Speaker 1: Hauling and rolling? I make people get up, run to
- 59:50Speaker 1: the back of the room and come back and try
- 59:52Speaker 1: to sit out. I make people ball up in a knot.
- 59:54Speaker 1: I have people a face, hunting, spitting drinks out. Ain't
- 59:58Speaker 1: that what we do? Tommy Junior said, can you imagine
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: how I felt? Now? Hell? Now we came. I was
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: down and felt defeated at first, but then I said,
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: screw them, I miss hanging out with my friends. Here
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: go my favorite line. But I know in my soul
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: that I'm bound for greatness. You know that's probably heaven.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: That's probably what you're bound for greatness. Yeah, you've brought
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: up soul and bound. Your soul is probably bound for health,
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: and you probably real nice lady, so you'll sound that
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: you think it's bound for great Now you're just gonna
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: go to heaven, which is even better than being down
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: here and being a successful entertainer by nature. What should
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: I do? I need support and positive put, not a
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: bunch of haters laughing at me. Okay, cool, here's some
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: positive input. Shirley told you, whatever you do, don't quit
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: your damn day. Joab Sharty told you that I agree
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: with Shirley. What Sharley said, whatever you do, don't quit
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: your job? You said, where do I go from here?
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: Should I stay on track and pursue my passion? You
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: are not on track. You ain't got no track. You
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: got three hundred likes on Instagram, don't don't base them
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: on that or listen to my hating friends. I want
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: to leave my job and pursue this full time. Don't
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: you do? Then, Surely said, whatever you do, don't you
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: quit your damn job. You're gonna starve. Let me explain
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: to you what you're gonna do. Listen to me. If
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: you quit your job, you're gonna have to find a
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: refrigerator box. What are you listening to me? You're gonna
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: have to find a refrigerator box. Then you're gonna have
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: to find an open space under the bridge. Don't you
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: have to find yourself a grocery car. Gotta have that cart.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: You gotta have that car. Then in that grocery cart,
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: you're gonna have to find your air condition that they'll
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: put in it. Then you're gonna need to start collecting
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: clothes and put all of them on at the same time.
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: You got to lay it. Then then you're gonna become
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: unrecognizable after a while. And then you're gonna be sitting
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: somewhere at the bus stop talking to your dam And
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: then some of your friends gonna be in their car
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: on their way to work and look over there, and
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: they're not gonna be showish you, because all of a sudden,
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: your ass is fitting to look every bit of sixty nine. Yeah,
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you what's happened, She says, she learned
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: from you. She learned the damn thing for me learn
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: this from me. It's never too late to pursue your dream.
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: Just change your dream. You're not fit to be an
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: entertainer if you're forty nine and you ain't made a check.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: First of all, they don't give fifty year old people
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: record deal. Yeah she's a singer. Yeah. See, if you're
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: a singer, they're not gonna give your record deal because
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: they give you record deals for three records. There ain't
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: even no promise you're gonna be here to do the
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: third album. Hell, I'm just trying to you how they
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: don't do it. Now listen to me. Now, you got
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: this grocery cart next to your bus stop and he
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: talking to yourself and your friends are driving by timeout. Damn,
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: you know what that shitn't look like. Huh. It can't
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: be because it ain't that you didn't gain weight. It's
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: just you got everything you own, everything you own, you
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: got it on. Now listen to me. Stop this. You're
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: not feeling be no, stop. She already is in your man,

- 1:07:33Speaker 1: All right, we'll be back with more of the Steve
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show right after you're listening to Steve Morning Show. Well,
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: guys about now. A lot of kids, a lot of
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: kids start making out their Christmas lists, you know what
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: they want for Christmas. One father wound up really shocked
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: at the list of stuff his ten year old just
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: requested for Christmas. Father who goes by the name of
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: eight Johnson four twelve a underscore Johnson four twelve on Twitter,
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: just shared his daughter's handwritten Christmas list, which contained a
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: lot of pricey items like an iPhone for instance, AirPods,
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: a MacBook Air, a pair of Gucci sliders, a Chanel purse.
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: I was gonna say this sounds like my Christmas list video. Yeah,
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: pink pumas are real bunny essential oils, and even four
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: thousand dollars. It's a ten year olds list. Uh. The
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: dad captioned the list. My ten year old daughter must
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: be out of her mind with this Christmas list. Yeah,
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: but you know, hey, that's what she wanted, so that's
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: what she put on the list. She doesn't understand the
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: real bunny get that. That's it? What about the uh?
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: What about the iPhone eleven? You're getting a damn funny
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: and have a phone older than you, right that your
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: phone is older than you? Did you guys ever put
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: anything outrageous on your Christmas list, I knew what we
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: didn't do that, yeah to get I was hoping to
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: get this one. Damn im I wanted. I raged what
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: I laded. Thing I need to do is piss them off.
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: Oh you crazy, You must not want a damn thing
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: I wish I had. I didn't play the games with
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: my father. What you want for Christmas? Well, a bike?
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: We ain't get no bike this year? What else you want? Okay? Cool?
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: I just want something else. Yeah, And then the next
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: year I got the bike, so I was cool. We
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: ain't got no bike this what else you want? And
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: they cheap? Now, bikes is cheap now. It's like the
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: cheap kids don't go outside. They stay outside on there
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: and they stay inside on their iPhone and not go outside.
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: You can't tell them. You're gonna make me man, you
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: ain't gonna be ale to go outside. That means nothing.
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: Oh yeah, they don't go outside, Steve, No, they do
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: not go outside. So bikes is cheap because of that. Well,
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: I mean that's one of the reasons. I mean, when
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: you really think about it, how many people you actually
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: see kids riding bikes? These nights. Yeah, you don't see that.
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: You see way more adults now riding bikes. Kids. Wow, crazy,
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: I guess I don't said. I told my nephew, we
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: get some trash under the tree. He said, what tree?
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: You don't even know what, Eddie. Yeah, he didn't know tree.
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: Go get the trash. Mother the tree out then, Mama,
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: y'all what tree. I love your family, you don't get
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: you behind. I think you'll get trash about the Yeah. Kids, kids,
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: you know, they're on their they play their games, their
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: video games, or they're on their iPhones or their iPads.
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: They do not go outside like well you you bout
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: a phone I paid and some gift cards and they
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: don't care after that. Yeah, they're happy. They're happy. Man. Yeah.
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: All I wanted was dolls and clothes. Dolls and clothes,
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: and I got that, so I was cool and I
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: loved going outside. But um, toys, they don't care about that.
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: Damn big wheelothes with a big whill. Oh no dolls,
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: Oh my goodness. Yeah. But yeah, Steve, it's an amazing thing.
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: That's why you know a lot of kids have weight
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: issues and things like that because they don't move around
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: like we did. You know and stuff. So it's quite different. Wow, yeah,
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: it's quite different. How I uh huh, what would you say, Tommy? Here,
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: go to one. I want it. I wanted roller skates
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: that you skating in the skating rink. I wanted though,
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: so I told my dad I wanted some roller skates.
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: I didn't go in detail. He gets me the ones
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: you have outside that you still have your shoe on
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: and just slip it on top of the skated It
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: breaks on le a little, yes, yes, all right. Coming up,
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: more music, more fun, Marsha Annigan's on the Sea Harvey

- 1:14:30Speaker 1: a time that a lot of people breaking up, but
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: they really don't know how to say it to the
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: other person. So I thought we might were just standing poem.
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: It's the best way to do it. Just say it

- 1:15:13Speaker 1: Yeah somebody now he got another one. Time he got
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: another one. Frosty, frosty like your attitude has been but

- 1:15:26Speaker 1: you win. Marry Christmas with you. Yeah, you're getting better relationships.
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: It's like we got time to argue all night long. No, no,
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: just say this. The relationship is over because you've been
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: messing with my wig. You even smoked three branches off
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: my Christmas tree. You got to go Marry Christmas smoke. Yeah,
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: y'all ask how you put down there and smoked three
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: branches off the tree. No, we don't need I like this.
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: This would hit me about one thirty in the morning.

- 1:17:03Speaker 1: you've been asked shading whole home. Merry Christmas, steady, that's
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: not you. Break up? Yeah, thank you? Coming up closing
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: remarks right after this you're listening to all right, Steve,
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: here we are last break of the day. Wow, what
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: a week it's been. Huh yeah, crazy week politically speaking,
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: I mean just everything. It's been a crazy, crazy week. Wow.
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: So you have some closing remarks for Steve got okay, um,
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: in light of encouraging people, oh and getting people to
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: understand the process that we are all involved in when
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: it comes to finding our success in our happiness. We
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: are all in the process. And you know, one of
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: the things. When you're trying to become happier, you're seeking
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: out your success, your position in life, what you're gonna do,
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: how you're gonna get it done. Maybe you start a business,
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: maybe you're trying to get a promotion, maybe you're trying
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: to finish school. Whatever it is, You're gonna run into
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: some things. That is just life. You are not the
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: only one. But when you get hit with one of
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: them hardness, one that kind of slows your role a
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: little bit, and we all have them, one that kind
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: of knocks you down and you didn't see it coming.
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: I mean, man, it's life is difficult, man, it really
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: really is. And all of us have to face some
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: of these challenges that are so heavy that it feels
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: like it knocks us out the game. And you can
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: be thrown for it. Don't get me wrong, it's human nature.
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: You could get tossed up pretty bad where you feel
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: like giving up. You can you can get tossed up
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: pretty bad where you feel like, well this is the end.
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: But when you get knocked down, when you get ran over,
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: when you get pushed, when you're exhausted, you gotta get
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: back in the game. You have to get back in
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: the game. It's still no excuse for not getting back
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: in the game. Because life is ten percent what happens
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: to you. It's n what you do about it. Everybody
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: has hardships, everybody has challenge moments. Everybody gets knocked down,
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: everybody get ran over, everybody get blindside it. But you
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: have got to get back in the game. You don't
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: have the time. Time is too precious for you to
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: just sit on the sideline on the bench, not playing anymore.
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: You can't do that. God is your coach, and with
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: God all things are possible. I want to ask you
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: something when God is doing what he does, when he's
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: in the background, moving on your behalf, when he's back
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: there working out things that you don't know that's working on,
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: when he is working on your behalf, just because he
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: knows you've been asking him too, if he'd been secretly
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: working on your behalf because you his child, because you
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: honor him, love him, in respect him. If he's in
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: the background working on your behalf, wouldn't you like to
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: be on the field for the end of the game.
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: Wouldn't you like to be on the field when the
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: results come in? When God gets through doing what he doing.
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: Wouldn't you love to be there when He puts his
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: stamp of approval on it. Wouldn't you like to be
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: on the field in the game when the package that
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: you've been praying for finally arrives. Wouldn't you like to
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: be in the field in the game when He finally
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: answered that prayer. Wouldn't you like to be there standing
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: on the field when it all turns around and all
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: your haters got to sit there and become your footstools.
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: Wouldn't you like to be on the field for that?
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: I know I would. I want to be on the
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: field when God starts packed in our victories. I want
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: to take a victory left when God starts blessing you
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: when everybody said was over. I love it when God
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: proved people wrong. I absolutely love it. I love it
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: when God say there's nothing then you can do to
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: my child that he can't handle. And when you get
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: through starting these fires around him, when you get through
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: messing with him, look at him. He gonna be stronger
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: and bigger and brighter and better than ever. When you
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: was laughing at him, when you thought he folded and
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: I came to his rescue, who laughing now all the
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: people in the stands will see it. You won't have
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: to shove it in nobody's face. Oh they're gonna see it.
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: They're gonna be sicker, they're gonna try something else. But
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: at the end of the day, I want to be
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: on the field when it's over, when God comes through,
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: when he show up like he always does. I don't
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: care if it's the last second field goal, as long
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: as I win the game. What difference doing me. I
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: got hurt while I was playing, but I won't I'll
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: take that. I got a great life for you, but
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: you got to stay in the game to get it.
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: God got a great life for you, but you gotta
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: get up when you get ran over. God got a
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: great life for you, but you gotta hang on when
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: you feel like sitting down. God got a great life
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: for you. But you will never know how great it
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: is until you get the end results. You'll never know
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: how great it is until you hanging in and see
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: what God finally had worked out for you. Stay on
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: the field, get back in the game. It's critical. It's critical.
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: I want to be on the field when they're doing
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: the victory lab. Those are my closing remarks. Wow, drop
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: that mic baby drop it. Yeah, y'all have a great man.
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: Did you Dropping like is bro? Oh? Since we've told
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: you not to say dropping like is hot. For all
