- 1:24Speaker 1: turn turn turn, got the turn out turn the water
- 1:47Speaker 1: the water. Come come on your back at it, I
- 2:02Speaker 1: shall will I come minded? Everybody you're listening to the voice,
- 2:07Speaker 1: come on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey,
- 2:10Speaker 1: I got a radio show. Somebody sent me an email
- 2:15Speaker 1: one day that, you know, kind of a nasty little email,
- 2:19Speaker 1: you know, I think I said it wants to before
- 2:21Speaker 1: Steve Harvey trying to be a preacher. Man, I'm so
- 2:23Speaker 1: far from being a preacher. Man, I can't even tell you.
- 2:27Speaker 1: But what I am trying to do is share information. Now.
- 2:31Speaker 1: I understand how haters work, and I understand how the
- 2:33Speaker 1: devil works. Believe me, I do you know? Sometimes even heat,
- 2:40Speaker 1: the devil surprises me at the level and the angles
- 2:45Speaker 1: of attack they use, you know, which, I go, wow, man,
- 2:48Speaker 1: I didn't I didn't see that one. Oh that was
- 2:50Speaker 1: pretty slick. I gotta get credit on that. We try
- 2:53Speaker 1: to get me, but every time you try to get me,
- 2:56Speaker 1: I get saved. I get saved every time, man, because
- 3:01Speaker 1: because God got me, God got some angels camped around me.
- 3:07Speaker 1: That's what my mom used to always say as a
- 3:09Speaker 1: Sunday school teacher. Never really understood it, but you know
- 3:12Speaker 1: when I was growing up as a kid, but I
- 3:14Speaker 1: got it. Now. He got some angels around me. And
- 3:17Speaker 1: angels come into form sometimes of people, people who pull
- 3:21Speaker 1: your coat to this, or introduce you to that, or
- 3:24Speaker 1: reveal some information to you like this. He got them
- 3:27Speaker 1: all around me. So see, having a relationship with God
- 3:32Speaker 1: has been beneficial to me, y'all. It's not just that
- 3:37Speaker 1: what he gives to me, but what he protects me from.
- 3:43Speaker 1: And you know, some some people wonder, well, if you
- 3:47Speaker 1: were God, why he letting people do that to you. Now,
- 3:51Speaker 1: that's not how it works. See, there's two forces in
- 3:53Speaker 1: this world, as good and as evil. And if you
- 3:56Speaker 1: succumb to good, that's what you become. That's what you do.
- 3:59Speaker 1: But everybody don't succumb to good. Some people succumb to evil.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Some people's mission is to hate, to destroy, to tear down,
- 4:08Speaker 1: and so that forces at work in this world too.
- 4:11Speaker 1: And when that force comes up against me. What God
- 4:15Speaker 1: never promised me that I wouldn't see none of that,
- 4:18Speaker 1: that I wouldn't see the attacks, that I would not
- 4:21Speaker 1: come under fire, that I would not be falsely accused.
- 4:24Speaker 1: He didn't say that. A matter of fact, he four
- 4:26Speaker 1: warned me that it would happen. Or what he does
- 4:29Speaker 1: give me in those moments are moments of comfort in peace,
- 4:34Speaker 1: knowing that He's with me. And no, no matter what
- 4:37Speaker 1: my enemy does to bring me down, it ain't gonna work.
- 4:41Speaker 1: It ain't gonna work. So come if you want to fight,
- 4:44Speaker 1: if you will. I have a man that has been
- 4:49Speaker 1: attacking me since I owned the comedy club in Dallas.
- 4:54Speaker 1: He has been on a mission and that if I
- 4:58Speaker 1: don't give him five million dollars, he gonna do it.
- 5:02Speaker 1: He didn't done everything, man, he has done everything. Now
- 5:07Speaker 1: he've messed around and got itself now claiming in his
- 5:10Speaker 1: letters physically ill and his illnesses and what's befalling his family.
- 5:17Speaker 1: He's blaming that on me too. As Steve Harvey not
- 5:21Speaker 1: stressed me out and paid me this money he owed
- 5:23Speaker 1: me we were you coming with this. He just has
- 5:27Speaker 1: kept on it on, it on, And you know what,
- 5:30Speaker 1: he a messed around, got itself sick. He'n messed around, man,
- 5:34Speaker 1: got himself in some situation. And can I tell you something.
- 5:37Speaker 1: It's been going on since nine teen, maybe ninety seven.
- 5:48Speaker 1: He started the attack when I first went on, No
- 5:52Speaker 1: before that, probably ninety five. He started the attacks in
- 5:57Speaker 1: ninety five, every nine in he didn't got six lawyers.
- 6:02Speaker 1: All the lawyers didn't drop the case after they come
- 6:04Speaker 1: in and they discover the fact. But he steady trying.
- 6:08Speaker 1: But it's too angels that's around. And I forewarned him
- 6:12Speaker 1: several times. Man, and man, if I was you, I
- 6:15Speaker 1: go head on because what I'm not gonna do is
- 6:16Speaker 1: being because see, you cannot break me because I happened
- 6:21Speaker 1: to be a soldier for Christ. I happened to be
- 6:24Speaker 1: an imperfect soldier or Christ as nothing, Man as nothing.
- 6:31Speaker 1: And oh it ain't like a bunch of people and tried. Now,
- 6:34Speaker 1: Oh y'all been on YouTube, y'all been on the internet.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Oh they didn't try. Oh they didn't put some dirt
- 6:40Speaker 1: on me. Man, that ain't true. But if you keep
- 6:43Speaker 1: looking at me though, and I'm not the prize. But
- 6:46Speaker 1: if you put your eyes on God, it's where you go.
- 6:49Speaker 1: But if you look at me, He's covered me through
- 6:51Speaker 1: it all. And that's been the importance of the relationship
- 6:54Speaker 1: I formed with God, is that I know that I'm
- 6:58Speaker 1: under his wings, I'm ever under his ever loving protection,
- 7:03Speaker 1: that he got me. And I just want to share
- 7:06Speaker 1: that with you that if you got If you're looking
- 7:09Speaker 1: for some protection, if you're looking for a way to
- 7:13Speaker 1: have the strength to get through what you're going through,
- 7:16Speaker 1: get some God man. If if you want to weigh out,
- 7:21Speaker 1: get some god man. If you've been gangbanging and you're
- 7:24Speaker 1: sick of gangbanging, get you some god man. If you're
- 7:27Speaker 1: tired of being on drugs and you're tied to drinking,
- 7:30Speaker 1: get you some god man. If you're tired of being
- 7:33Speaker 1: if you're sick and tired of being sick and tired,
- 7:35Speaker 1: get you some God man. I'm just telling you now.
- 7:39Speaker 1: If you're trying to make your dreams come true and
- 7:41Speaker 1: it looks like you ain't gonna make it, and you
- 7:43Speaker 1: still believe that that's for you, get you some God man.
- 7:47Speaker 1: If you're setting a new gold dream of aspiration and
- 7:50Speaker 1: you're trying to get that, and you're gonna start out today.

- 8:04Speaker 1: be patient, have faith, believe, don't doubt, but Lord, have mercy.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Get ready to work your tail off. Did you hear me?
- 8:16Speaker 1: Get you some faith, believe, don't doubt, and get ready
- 8:21Speaker 1: to work your tail off. God can't blessing. You See
- 8:26Speaker 1: a lot of times we go to God asking for
- 8:28Speaker 1: prayers and stuff, but we go to him and we
- 8:31Speaker 1: don't give nothing God nothing to bless We won't blessings,
- 8:34Speaker 1: but we don't give him nothing to bless. You make
- 8:36Speaker 1: one step, he'll make two. You start, he'll finish you come,

- 9:21Speaker 1: have spent trying to get to twenty three hundred? Just

- 18:53Speaker 1: That's what I mean when I say well, out of this, Yeah,
- 18:58Speaker 1: that's what I mean. What I mean is when I
- 19:00Speaker 1: say word out of them, that means we don't have
- 19:04Speaker 1: any more out of them. Out of them mean like yeah,
- 19:11Speaker 1: I don't know another way to say it. I don't
- 19:13Speaker 1: know what to say. Oh, I'm gonna really respect him
- 19:17Speaker 1: the next time I go through a drive through case. Look, look,
- 19:23Speaker 1: I'm at work. You can't drop him off at the
- 19:26Speaker 1: drive through window. I'm at work. Wait till I get off.
- 19:31Speaker 1: This is this wrong? Casia the baby at the drive
- 19:40Speaker 1: that's wrong. You can't head the baby to the window.
- 19:44Speaker 1: You wrong for that. But say man, say man, I
- 19:47Speaker 1: don't know who you bought weed from last night, But
- 19:49Speaker 1: I'm not saying weed here while I'm working. I don't
- 19:51Speaker 1: know who you bought it from last night, but I'm
- 19:53Speaker 1: not not me. Come on, Steve, close it out, drive
- 19:57Speaker 1: through workers. What we feel you now we've really do? Yes,
- 20:01Speaker 1: come on, close it out. Just the damn pot, I
- 20:04Speaker 1: don't pack coming up right after this, Nephew, Tommy's run
- 20:11Speaker 1: that prank back. You're listening Dave Harvey Morning Show. Nephew
- 20:16Speaker 1: Tommy is here. We've run that prank back. What you
- 20:18Speaker 1: got for is now? Dumb it down, Dumb it down.
- 20:25Speaker 1: I'm talking to this lady. We're about to give a
- 20:27Speaker 1: call and let her know that her daughter cannot go
- 20:29Speaker 1: on spring break with the rest of the kids because
- 20:31Speaker 1: her grays are not up to paul and you're gonna
- 20:33Speaker 1: have to bring it on into the school that entire week.
- 20:36Speaker 1: That's right, dumb it down. Running Hello, Hello, I'm trying
- 20:43Speaker 1: to reach please speaking. Who is this Alisha? This is
- 20:48Speaker 1: mister Roland Barn, assistant principal here at academy or your daughter?
- 20:54Speaker 1: Are usure goes, Yes, what's going on? Is everything? Okay? Everything?
- 20:59Speaker 1: You charl Well, let me be honest. It's not good
- 21:03Speaker 1: right now. I wanted to call and actually have a
- 21:07Speaker 1: private conversation with you about Aisha. Oh God, all right,
- 21:12Speaker 1: tell me what's going on. What's going on, Aisha? Well,
- 21:16Speaker 1: as you know spring break is going to be coming
- 21:19Speaker 1: up in March, you do not that, right? Yeah, I'm
- 21:22Speaker 1: aware of that she's looking for. Yeah, well, we have
- 21:26Speaker 1: a bit of an issue here. I have done some
- 21:29Speaker 1: research and I Usha doesn't seem to be doing well
- 21:33Speaker 1: as should be living up the expectations of the academy.
- 21:36Speaker 1: And what we're going to have to do this spring
- 21:39Speaker 1: break is I used to will not be allowed to
- 21:43Speaker 1: take a spring break with the rest of your kids.
- 21:44Speaker 1: We're gonna need her to come into school. And there's
- 21:47Speaker 1: several kids that are not going to be able to
- 21:50Speaker 1: go on spring break, and I used to happen to
- 21:52Speaker 1: be one of them. There's at least forty to fifty
- 21:55Speaker 1: kids that will be coming to school that entire week
- 21:59Speaker 1: that spring break is the most of the kids are
- 22:01Speaker 1: out on spring break. You have to be mistaken. I mean,
- 22:04Speaker 1: my daughter is a straight age student. You can't. She
- 22:10Speaker 1: is actually the only at the academy man. And I
- 22:14Speaker 1: you know, I've looked at her her grades in the past.
- 22:17Speaker 1: She's had some grade it's a wonderful grades in the past,
- 22:20Speaker 1: and I don't know what's taking place this semester um
- 22:25Speaker 1: that she just seems to have dropped the ball. And
- 22:28Speaker 1: what we want to do is, you know, keep these
- 22:30Speaker 1: kids focused. As you know, you have to be accepted
- 22:33Speaker 1: to be here at this particular school. So you know,
- 22:36Speaker 1: it leaves me no no other outlet but to have
- 22:39Speaker 1: her come in and we're gonna buckle down and try

- 24:16Speaker 1: their classes, are gonna be there during spring break and
- 24:20Speaker 1: they're gonna get their business together. Noelling me like, you're
- 24:24Speaker 1: reprimanding me, like I'm a child. Okay, she's gone. No,
- 24:30Speaker 1: she's not going on a trip, and you're telling me what.
- 24:32Speaker 1: You're trying to override my position, and that's what's not
- 24:36Speaker 1: gonna happen. She has to be there. You might as
- 24:38Speaker 1: well start looking for a refund because she's not gonna

- 26:29Speaker 1: do something about it. I will have people picketing outside
- 26:31Speaker 1: your your school. You're talking about nonsense. My daughter does

- 28:07Speaker 1: somebody famous, baby, Let me get somebody. How about Tyler?
- 28:11Speaker 1: How about all right? Coming up at the top of
- 28:18Speaker 1: the hour entertainment news right after this. You're listening to show?
- 28:26Speaker 1: All right, come on, see, let's go. You have a
- 28:28Speaker 1: timeline for just a sorry person. I got a partner
- 28:32Speaker 1: used to work with. I ain't gonna say his name,
- 28:35Speaker 1: Russell Russell. No, well how we know his name? Russell?
- 28:45Speaker 1: Are you for real? Right now? It's slipped out? Well,
- 28:49Speaker 1: it's out there now, we don't know. This is the timeline,
- 28:55Speaker 1: oh Russell. Uh huh. And this is what he would do?
- 28:59Speaker 1: You ready? Four times a month? Vote five times a
- 29:02Speaker 1: month at least seven am, the alarm go off, hit
- 29:08Speaker 1: the snows wake up at seven forty five. I don't
- 29:13Speaker 1: know who got the forty five minutes news, but he
- 29:16Speaker 1: had one put in special on his clock. Eight o'clock.
- 29:23Speaker 1: He would call in to let us know he running late.
- 29:29Speaker 1: Not in his mind that to give him thirty minutes,
- 29:34Speaker 1: which means he gonna hit the roll the highway at
- 29:37Speaker 1: eight thirty. But he waited till eight to make the
- 29:41Speaker 1: phone been up, but he waited eight thirty am. He
- 29:50Speaker 1: in traffic. He makes a second call back into us
- 29:56Speaker 1: and the boss complain about how bad the traffic yell,
- 30:03Speaker 1: which means he may not make it to nine, which
- 30:10Speaker 1: gives him another thirty minute. Okay, but they really don't
- 30:15Speaker 1: ever expect him to ten thirty now, since you don't
- 30:21Speaker 1: have to be down to ten thirty. Russell then took
- 30:24Speaker 1: his ass and got some break this Russell sen down
- 30:32Speaker 1: even breakfast. Somewhere around eleven thirty, Russell has now arrived
- 30:38Speaker 1: at work. Man. He go immediately to the supervisor's desk
- 30:44Speaker 1: to complain about how bad the traffic was. Then every
- 30:52Speaker 1: time he at the desk, he always makes sure he
- 30:55Speaker 1: slips this phrase in wow, look at the time, man,
- 31:01Speaker 1: I gotta get to us, like he just come to it. Yeah,
- 31:07Speaker 1: he said fresh to wild Man, look at the time
- 31:11Speaker 1: I got. Yeah. Now, that's somewhere around eleven forty five,
- 31:18Speaker 1: level forty five. He bs to twelve answering emails, personal emails.
- 31:24Speaker 1: Mostly he go to lunch at twelve thirty. Wait a minute, lunch,
- 31:31Speaker 1: twelve thirty love Russell, Russ because we was in sales.
- 31:40Speaker 1: Russ taking two hour lunch. He back at two thirty. Ye,
- 31:45Speaker 1: but then he makes sure he stopped back by the
- 31:48Speaker 1: supervisors office, but this time just to show his face
- 31:55Speaker 1: and you know, just some some BS. Yeah that BS conversation.
- 32:01Speaker 1: How about them, cowbar I love it man badly about people.
- 32:12Speaker 1: He came, Ain't that same? Yeah, yeah, it's always current events.
- 32:20Speaker 1: Yeah man, all right, so now it's three thirty, right.
- 32:27Speaker 1: He gets back to his desk, and he had the
- 32:30Speaker 1: desk and he played a game of Palm, computed palm,
- 32:37Speaker 1: because back then that's all we have. He back at
- 32:41Speaker 1: the desk and he playing palm. He had defer cards
- 32:45Speaker 1: and he played a little solitaire, which he always wants.
- 32:50Speaker 1: He's gonna strack a card down in a row fifteen
- 32:54Speaker 1: who hell wins fifteen games solitario. Then he do personal
- 33:01Speaker 1: emails to about fault. Now it's time to clock out.
- 33:09Speaker 1: Got to get the hell out of here. Now this
- 33:12Speaker 1: next step of clocking out is very important. When he
- 33:16Speaker 1: go to the clock, he makes sure that the clock
- 33:22Speaker 1: time in says eight. So he gone clock out the fold. Yeah,
- 33:34Speaker 1: because you know you need all them hours. I'm later,
- 33:38Speaker 1: ain't got nothing to do with how many hours a payout.
- 33:43Speaker 1: So he had a little magnet and a screwdriver, and
- 33:47Speaker 1: he could take the magnet and put it on the
- 33:49Speaker 1: face of the clock and turn their hands and a
- 33:51Speaker 1: screwdriver blocked it from clicking. Back then as soon as
- 33:54Speaker 1: it said eight, he slided card in a two ch
- 33:57Speaker 1: and get him an eight o'clock. Yes, that's a lot
- 34:00Speaker 1: of worn. Put him lazy to five pounds a month,
- 34:07Speaker 1: and that right there. You think that was hard, that's
- 34:10Speaker 1: what Russ Sake put in another hard day. Man, come
- 34:15Speaker 1: by the same thing, same same thing all over again.
- 34:19Speaker 1: Now he don't do two in the world, spread him up.
- 34:23Speaker 1: This is all this Friday man in traffic were bad
- 34:28Speaker 1: getting in here, man, and hurricane is something. Man, it's
- 34:36Speaker 1: really happened. And he took all current even and made
- 34:40Speaker 1: him affect him. You're listening, show, Go ahead, all right, listen.
- 34:51Speaker 1: I have a date this weekend. Ok. Yeah, it's the
- 34:55Speaker 1: first date too, hey man, So this is your truth
- 34:57Speaker 1: be told? Yes, sir, true. Yeah, I have a first
- 35:00Speaker 1: date this weekend and it's first date. Just want you
- 35:03Speaker 1: to know, first date with a girl. Yeah, a comedy
- 35:08Speaker 1: stand up Na. No, no, it's the day first date.
- 35:17Speaker 1: And this could go either way. But you know, you
- 35:21Speaker 1: could go the date. I don't know, you know, if
- 35:22Speaker 1: I'm gonna like her, she's gonna like me. I don't
- 35:24Speaker 1: want you to well, you know, we just you know,
- 35:26Speaker 1: somebody set it up. I was s it's a blind Yeah,
- 35:29Speaker 1: well we see talking. So we're gonna gonna try this.
- 35:33Speaker 1: But I don't know if it's really gonna work because
- 35:35Speaker 1: I litterally choose a spot. She's chose a steakhouse. Now,
- 35:39Speaker 1: truth be told. I'm just gonna tell you right now,
- 35:41Speaker 1: Truth be told. First days don't start with with steak.
- 35:46Speaker 1: They start with chicken. Yeah, I'm telling you right now,
- 35:53Speaker 1: first date starts with chicken. It will start with steak
- 35:57Speaker 1: because first of all, yeah, that's that's putting too much
- 35:59Speaker 1: in on. Now, what if I don't like you? Okay,
- 36:02Speaker 1: you don't like me, then you haven't got a steak
- 36:04Speaker 1: off of me? Because it ain't nobody mad when you
- 36:07Speaker 1: eat chicken restaurant served family packs of chicken, I seem
- 36:12Speaker 1: knocked down, drag out. Arguments have fallen out over chicken,
- 36:18Speaker 1: and ain't nobody mad. But when you get a steak, okay,
- 36:22Speaker 1: it's an issue. If we don't, we'll see eye to
- 36:24Speaker 1: eye because a lot more than hey, why should you
- 36:27Speaker 1: have eighty of my dolls? I ain't gonna see you
- 36:31Speaker 1: no more, you ain't gonna call me no more. Go ahead,
- 36:33Speaker 1: let's go down here to churches and let's sit around
- 36:35Speaker 1: and talk. He jili, what happened to this? Right here?
- 36:38Speaker 1: When a man meets a woman, he puts his best
- 36:42Speaker 1: foot for, and chicken is the best foot. I'm putting
- 36:48Speaker 1: my foot right out there. Let's get this ten piece.
- 36:51Speaker 1: Let's talk about this. You mean like fried chicken, chicken?
- 36:57Speaker 1: You want long as this chicken baked green Bobby Q.
- 37:01Speaker 1: But what we can't through is having steak. Now you
- 37:05Speaker 1: got eighty of my dollars. Then you're talking about all
- 37:07Speaker 1: Then you go bad talking to your friend already pulled Junior.
- 37:10Speaker 1: Why didn't you pick the restaurant? Why didn't you set
- 37:13Speaker 1: up the Oh? I didn't know what she liked, and
- 37:14Speaker 1: she said, well this is real place. I looked it
- 37:16Speaker 1: up on l and find out this is a steakhouse,
- 37:18Speaker 1: and a very nice steakhouse at that. Now, furst of
- 37:21Speaker 1: all her together? Wait what you all miss something? Furst
- 37:27Speaker 1: of all I saw when I first saw all them

- 45:21Speaker 1: construction of that, right. Yeah, yeah, that's that is correct, sir.
- 45:25Speaker 1: I've been working construction for the past like twelve years now.

- 46:09Speaker 1: spearheading it. We got to deal with the government, so
- 46:11Speaker 1: we're as soon as we can't be green light. We
- 46:13Speaker 1: just got to make sure we got enough fan power

- 46:20Speaker 1: wall workers quit coction like building the wall, building the wall,
- 46:26Speaker 1: baring the wall at the at the borders exactly. And
- 46:30Speaker 1: I'm sorry, man, I'm gonna have to pass on this.
- 46:34Speaker 1: I mean I need to work. I mean, is there
- 46:36Speaker 1: is there is there a problem, hobby, Yeah, there's a problem.
- 46:41Speaker 1: I mean a Mexican American man. I got a family
- 46:43Speaker 1: that lives over in Mexico, got family ls over here,
- 46:46Speaker 1: you know, in the States, Like I don't. I don't
- 46:48Speaker 1: want to be a part of that. I don't want

- 47:07Speaker 1: a part of this. For if you're paying me a
- 47:08Speaker 1: murder bus an hour or a thousand bucks an hour,
- 47:10Speaker 1: I mean, you know, I dis respect them to my people,
- 47:13Speaker 1: my brother. I mean, it just it ain't gonna happen.
- 47:15Speaker 1: I don't want a part of this. I didn't know,
- 47:17Speaker 1: I didn't know what type of project. It wasn't sut down.
- 47:19Speaker 1: I mean you must have said it really quickly because
- 47:22Speaker 1: I didn't pact what you said. And I don't know
- 47:24Speaker 1: if you're tecting what I'm saying. But I want no
- 47:26Speaker 1: part of this. So you have a problem with building
- 47:30Speaker 1: a wall and we're paying you ex amount of dollars
- 47:34Speaker 1: that's gonna put um, you know, food on your table
- 47:37Speaker 1: and take care of your family. You got a problem

- 47:42Speaker 1: my table. I can make my money doing looking for
- 47:44Speaker 1: some other words. I ain't gonna be a part of
- 47:47Speaker 1: building some guy whoa But I'm gonna be saying what

- 48:07Speaker 1: of big part of Mexico because of UA. I mean
- 48:11Speaker 1: he betrayed us Mexicans. Not cool? Not cool? Okay. Question,
- 48:19Speaker 1: are you calling Latinos to build this wall or are
- 48:22Speaker 1: you calling other racist school? I haven't. I mean, I
- 48:28Speaker 1: don't know everyone's nationality, sir, he just came. What about
- 48:31Speaker 1: the last name? How about that? So are you looking
- 48:34Speaker 1: at this last name? I'm not looking at the last names?
- 48:38Speaker 1: I mean I know, uh, I assume that you were
- 48:41Speaker 1: Latino on your name is poverty. I got that. But
- 48:46Speaker 1: you have here, it's vier. It's not Harvey. Only my
- 48:49Speaker 1: friends your family called me Harvey? All right? Okay? Um,

- 48:55Speaker 1: want to work the wall? Bro Yo, who's the ready
- 49:00Speaker 1: repaired fully girthing when you're in a baby? Nobody could
- 49:03Speaker 1: be that dumber, stupid old. I want how did you
- 49:06Speaker 1: see the news? I mean, what how do you think
- 49:09Speaker 1: I was gonna say? I mean, you and everybody else.
- 49:13Speaker 1: That's a part of building this wall and the water, right.
- 49:18Speaker 1: I mean, okay, he's suspectful. You really think that you
- 49:22Speaker 1: could start recruiting that things? You your dirty work. I'm
- 49:29Speaker 1: what about what about Louise? What about? What about your cousin?
- 49:34Speaker 1: I mean, would would he be? All right? But on
- 49:36Speaker 1: the way, my cousin Louis, my cousin Louise, I'm talking
- 49:40Speaker 1: to you guy him signed up and he's the one
- 49:42Speaker 1: that recommended me. Because I'm gonna pick it. I'm gonna

- 52:32Speaker 1: after Tommy says this buggle up, hold on tight. Here
- 52:35Speaker 1: it is the Strawberry letter subject this dummy messed up
- 52:41Speaker 1: a good thing. Dear Stephen Shirley. My fiance and I
- 52:46Speaker 1: have been together for six years. We like to have
- 52:48Speaker 1: fun in the bedroom, which often includes a third person
- 52:52Speaker 1: joining us, and yes it is always another woman. Before
- 52:57Speaker 1: before my fiance met me, he had never ever had
- 53:00Speaker 1: a threesome, but I had. Now he can't get enough
- 53:03Speaker 1: of them, and I enjoy them even more than he does.
- 53:07Speaker 1: From day one, I have set all of the rules
- 53:10Speaker 1: for the threesomes. My main and most important rule is
- 53:13Speaker 1: that I am the one and the only one that
- 53:16Speaker 1: can call or text the females and invite them over.
- 53:20Speaker 1: The females are not to ever have my fiance cell number.
- 53:24Speaker 1: So here's where the problem started. My fiance and I
- 53:28Speaker 1: were out having drinks recently and he met a girl
- 53:30Speaker 1: and introduced me to her. I instantly liked the girl,
- 53:34Speaker 1: and I told her that I would get her number
- 53:36Speaker 1: before we left. A few minutes later, I noticed that
- 53:39Speaker 1: my fiance was putting the girl's number in his phone.
- 53:43Speaker 1: I guess he thought that I wasn't paying attention. He
- 53:46Speaker 1: knows that's a big no no, a real deal breaker.
- 53:50Speaker 1: When I questioned him about it, he said he forgot
- 53:52Speaker 1: about my rule. I asked him to delete the number,
- 53:55Speaker 1: and he swore that he deleted it, and I trusted him.
- 53:59Speaker 1: But he has been guarding his cell phone with his life,
- 54:03Speaker 1: and he even changed his pass code. I can't believe
- 54:06Speaker 1: how disrespectful he's acting. He has taken our situation for granted.
- 54:11Speaker 1: And any other man would be more than willing to
- 54:13Speaker 1: follow my simple rules so he could be any other
- 54:18Speaker 1: man would be more than willing to follow my simple
- 54:20Speaker 1: rules so he could be with two women at once.
- 54:24Speaker 1: He's probably having sex with this girl without telling me.
- 54:27Speaker 1: Now I don't trust him, and I'm having second thoughts
- 54:29Speaker 1: about the marriage. What am I supposed to do? Please help? Well? See,
- 54:34Speaker 1: you know, you invite this stuff into your life and
- 54:37Speaker 1: into your bedroom, these threesomes, and when you do this,
- 54:41Speaker 1: you invite all kinds of unwanted situations into your relationship,
- 54:45Speaker 1: it gets away from you, and this is just what happens,
- 54:48Speaker 1: you know. So your little plan backfired, so to speak.
- 54:52Speaker 1: Now you're no longer in control like you thought you were.
- 54:55Speaker 1: Now your man has taken charge and he's calling the shots.
- 54:58Speaker 1: He probably wants more of any normal relationship with one woman.
- 55:02Speaker 1: You introduced him to this situation. Maybe you know, he's
- 55:05Speaker 1: just going along with it because it is what it is.
- 55:08Speaker 1: But maybe he wants some you know, sense of normalcy
- 55:10Speaker 1: with one person in his life. And it's under your
- 55:14Speaker 1: skin now you're yeah, yeah, there are people out there
- 55:17Speaker 1: that just, you know, want one person in the bedroom
- 55:21Speaker 1: with them at a time, especially if they're in a
- 55:23Speaker 1: relationship or a marriage. So you know, he's flipped it
- 55:27Speaker 1: on you now, he's gotten her number, forget your rules,
- 55:30Speaker 1: disrespecting your so called rules, and you're having second thoughts
- 55:34Speaker 1: about marrying him. Well, maybe he's having second thoughts about
- 55:36Speaker 1: marrying you too. I mean, it is hard to reverse
- 55:40Speaker 1: something like this once it gets started. But maybe he's
- 55:42Speaker 1: sick of it, Maybe he doesn't want to have anything
- 55:45Speaker 1: more to do with it. And maybe this woman that
- 55:47Speaker 1: he's met in the club, maybe you know he thinks
- 55:49Speaker 1: he can build a life just one on one with her. Steve, Yeah,
- 55:55Speaker 1: well I got no angry thing. He and this woman
- 56:01Speaker 1: and fiance been together six years. Like have fun in
- 56:04Speaker 1: the bedroom, which often includes the third person joining us,
- 56:07Speaker 1: and it's always a woman. Now. Before you met the dude,
- 56:10Speaker 1: he had never had a threesome before, but you had. Now.
- 56:14Speaker 1: He can't get enough for them, and I, the lady
- 56:17Speaker 1: in the letter, says, I'm enjoying them more than he does.
- 56:20Speaker 1: From day one, I set all the rules for the threesomes.
- 56:24Speaker 1: My main and most important rule is that I am
- 56:26Speaker 1: the only one that can call or text the females
- 56:31Speaker 1: and invite them over. She is the only one. She
- 56:34Speaker 1: didn't tell me that the females can't ever had his
- 56:37Speaker 1: sale number. And that's where the problem started. You and
- 56:41Speaker 1: him y'all out having drinks and you met a girl.
- 56:43Speaker 1: He met a girl and introduced me to her. I
- 56:47Speaker 1: instantly liked the girls and told her I would get
- 56:50Speaker 1: her number before we left. A few minutes later, you
- 56:53Speaker 1: notice your fiance was putting the girls numb in the phone.
- 56:57Speaker 1: I guess he thought I wasn't paying it. He noticed
- 56:59Speaker 1: a big no no, a real deal breaker when I
- 57:01Speaker 1: ask him about it. No no, no, no no, no,
- 57:03Speaker 1: let me stop you. You told him that you're the
- 57:08Speaker 1: only one that can call or text the females and
- 57:11Speaker 1: invite them over. You didn't say he couldn't collect no
- 57:15Speaker 1: numbers and go get no new tricks. I didn't hear
- 57:19Speaker 1: that in the rule. So now he out solicit him.
- 57:23Speaker 1: He find a little thing he called a text to nothing.
- 57:28Speaker 1: He got the information because he won't in that who
- 57:31Speaker 1: he won't. But you said you liked it though, So
- 57:35Speaker 1: now what the problem is? I guess he thought I
- 57:37Speaker 1: wasn't paying attention. He knows that's a big no no,
- 57:40Speaker 1: a real deal breaker. When I questioned him about it,
- 57:43Speaker 1: he said he forgot about the rules. You know why
- 57:45Speaker 1: because the fine thing was in his face. We always
- 57:48Speaker 1: forget the rules. We forget the wedding vials if a
- 57:51Speaker 1: fine would get in your face. So you know gonna hear, well,
- 57:55Speaker 1: he gonna forget your little monk ass rule, and your
- 58:00Speaker 1: rule is set up so y'all can't cheat. Now you
- 58:03Speaker 1: want a cheating rule to not get broken? What now?
- 58:07Speaker 1: I asked him to lead the number. He swore he
- 58:09Speaker 1: deleted it, and I trusted him, but lately he's been
- 58:12Speaker 1: guarding his cell phone with his life. Most men do.
- 58:16Speaker 1: He even changed his past. He got to I can't
- 58:21Speaker 1: believe how disrespectful he's acting. Excuse me, you can't believe
- 58:26Speaker 1: how disrespectful he's acting. Don't you let another woman have sex?
- 58:32Speaker 1: What's your fiance exactly? I can't believe how disrespectful. At
- 58:40Speaker 1: Work it out, Steve, work it out. You let him
- 58:43Speaker 1: have sex with other women? All right? Hold that thought.
- 58:47Speaker 1: Hold that thought, Steve. We'll come back with part two
- 58:51Speaker 1: of your response. The subject is this dummy messed up
- 58:56Speaker 1: a good thing. You're listening good morning show. All right, Steve,
- 59:01Speaker 1: let's recap the letter for it today and get to
- 59:04Speaker 1: part two of your response. Just give to it. This
- 59:06Speaker 1: couple bit, David fiance, they've been having threesomes. She only
- 59:09Speaker 1: got one rule with the threesomes. It is always another woman.
- 59:13Speaker 1: She could be the only one that call or texted
- 59:15Speaker 1: females and invite them over. They not ever to have
- 59:18Speaker 1: your fiance sale number. And this where the problem started. Y'all.
- 59:22Speaker 1: Out one night having drinks, he met a girl introduced
- 59:25Speaker 1: to the media. Instant he introduced his girl to you.
- 59:28Speaker 1: You instantly liked the girl. Knop y'all out setting traps,
- 59:32Speaker 1: y'all out trapping. Now he out setting traps now with you?
- 59:37Speaker 1: So introduced you to the girl. You like her right away.
- 59:40Speaker 1: You told her you get her number before we left.
- 59:42Speaker 1: A few minutes later, you noticed your fiance putting the
- 59:45Speaker 1: girl's number in the phone. I guess he thought I
- 59:47Speaker 1: wasn't paying attention. That's a big no no. You ask
- 59:50Speaker 1: him to delete the number. He swore he did, but
- 59:52Speaker 1: lately he got on the phone with it, like he
- 59:54Speaker 1: even changed his past code. I can't believe how disrespectful
- 59:57Speaker 1: he's acting. When you use the word disrespectfully throws me
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: a little bit, because ain't you the one walter girls
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: over to the house at first, because your your filance.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: They didn't know nothing about no damns. I have never
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: been involved. You introduced the trick mess into the situation.
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: You bought the sin and the den. Man, Now you
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: want to try to contain sin. Don't you know you
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: can't contain You bought the sin into the den. Now
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: you want to contain the sin. See, it's just like
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: even laid potato chi if you can't just eat one. Nay,
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: most peoples crack addicts because they tried one rocker crack.
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, now they sarwas shaking. If six hours go by,
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: they ain't got no crack. See what I'm saying now,
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: you don't put your husband. You don't put your fiance
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: saying that. Now, you can't believe he has taken out
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: situation for granted, any other man would be more than
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: willing to follow my simple rules, so he could be
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: with two with one. Any other man follow your simple
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: rules for a while, That's right, But then what man
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: you think? See once you tell him and he won't more,
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: then a man gonna go getting more. Now he out
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: there setting traps, he meeting chicks that he want to
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: have sexual and bringing him over to you. See that's
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: how this worked. You can't tell him how much to want.
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: You can't give him one ladies potato chip and expect
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: him not to want the bag when you gave him
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: a taste of it. That's right, What the hell is
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: one potato chip? Yeah, he's probably having sex with this
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: girl without telling me. Now I don't trust him, and
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: I'm having second thoughts about the marriage. What marriage? You
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: don't trust him, but you bring an untrusting situation to
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: your fiance. Now you don't think you can trust him
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: in the marriage. He was just loving you. Yeah, he
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: asked you to marry. Then you bought the other trick
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: into the situation. Now you haven't second thoughts about the marriage.
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: What marriage? He don't want to marry you. So when
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: y'all getting married? What what viles y'all offen to say?
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: Y'all can't be taking the regular vial. They're gonna make
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: them up right, y'all gonna have to rewrite y'alls because
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: y'all going in wrong? Yeah? What am I supposed to do?
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: Please help lady. We can't help you. If you want
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: to do threesomes, go do threesomes. I ain't knocking it.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: Whatever your sexual preference is, I don't knock that. Go
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: do you see all? That's cool? But you want to
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: do threesomes, go do threesomes. Your husband, your fiance, they
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: want to do threesomes? What do he want to do?
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: But sometimes, have you ever thought about this, and Shirley
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: kind of touched on it, have you ever thought, maybe,
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: in the words of the late Great Prince, I just
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: want to be somebody somebody man, you know, since you
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: so willingly passing it out. You know, he'd ran across
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: something that's better than yours. He ain't got the ship. Hello,
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: maybe he tied the ship. Maybe he want to meet

- 1:04:25Speaker 1: well you know you you know you told me not
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: to call and text nobody, but you said you're gonna
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: get a number before we left. You didn't get it,
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: so I got it. It is, but that's not your job.

- 1:04:39Speaker 1: Well let me ask you something. Well, when you're setting
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: it up for her to come over, because that's what
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: I'm waiting. I didn't really like her that much, so
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: well I did it. See no, no, no, no no no,
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: see I did. I picked that one. When you're gonna
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: call them, well, what I'm seeing now is total disrespect.
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: That's what I'm seeing. Total totally disrespectful, total dis warn me.

- 1:05:29Speaker 1: Steven Show. Well, uh, Jay is here. We're so happy
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: when you're here with us, Jay, that means you're healthy
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: and good. Uh and and Jay, I don't know where
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: you find the time, but apparently you've written another book book.
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: What is this? Your ape was what was that? I
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: love that? I love love that level. But this is
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: this is my newest book. This is my newest book.
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: While I was in Chemo, I put this together. The
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: name of the book is is very catchy. You'll catch
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: on this sometimes. Ken folks ain't worth for damn, or
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: you can use the S word. That's the title of
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: the one more time. Sometimes ken folks ain't worth for damn,
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: or you can use the S word. So that's that's
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: the title of the book. And it's several chapters in
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: there that everybody who has ken folks can relate to.
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: In the board, my new book calls sometimes ken folks
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: worth damn or you can use the fort Chapter one,
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: just because you got a big house, they can show
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: up and stay for free. That's chapter one. Oh man,
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: that that that little chapter two. I kind of get
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: into some personal stuff that they think your house is storied.
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: Let me put something in your garage for a couple
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: of days. I mean it's been in there, ain't much now,
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: it ain't moved. You know, the old pod. I don't
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: even know what it is myself. I didn't lift it up.
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: I don't know this. Chapter three, Okay, this is if
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: you have a big house. Uh, ken folk get confused
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: in a new book. Sometimes ken folk for damn, and
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: you can use the S word. They think they think
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: you're the daddy. What they don't understand is you're the granddaddy,
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: not the daddy, Daddy, some of those problems, this is personal.
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: Some of those problems need to go to the daddy,
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: not the granddaddy. Okay, you need to go right to
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: the daddy. Okay, Oh, this is the chapter. If you
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: are my book, my new book, call sometimes ken folks,
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: don't we for damn? Or you can use the S
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: word then think you're a bad guy if you don't babysit.
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: I don't babysit. Okay, I smoke things. I do things
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: that kids. And when you come back, he's gonna have
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: a whole different attitude. If you lead him here. Okay,
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: he's gonna be a little he's gonna be hungry, gonna
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: be sleep. Yeah, you're gonna come pick up a little
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: at He's in my new book. In my new book,
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: sometimes can with a damn, or you can use the
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: a's wood. They think you are finance coming in. That's
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: my book. That's several chapters in Never to be out
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: soon Sometimes can damn You can use check it out
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: in my new book. Yeah, and that's gonna be a bestsellers.
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: It's gonna be all right. We'll be back with more
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: listening Steven Show. Hey listen. Uh, millennials are going broke.
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: I think we all have millennials. I one, Yeah, I
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: don't have Yeah, you have a gen Yeah you have
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: one of those, Carl, We all have millennials here. They
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: say they're going broke because of social media, though, according
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: to research by Alian's Life, fifty seven percent of millennials
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: that's compared to twenty eight percent of Gen xers and
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: seven percent of Baby boomers say they've spent money they
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: didn't have because of something they saw on social media. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: with our money, right, not keeping money to get right.
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: Facebook got some good stuff out there, but we have jobs,
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: we can buy it our kids, all right. It seems
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: lots of millennials feel pressure to keep up appearances, with
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: nearly fifty percent saying they are influenced by their friends
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: posts of lavish vacations and lifestyles. Now, according to the survey,
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: social media has become the millennials financial Achilles. Heel, all right, yeah,
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: you agree, I have that problem. It's on a polar road.
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: And if you saw it when you were cutting grass
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: and collecting bottles and all that stuff to get money,
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: it was a whole different story. It was a hustle, yeah,
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: or you got allowances. I think it's more reactionary spending
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: available to young people now, compulsive spending. I mean, you know,
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: I think they could just press a button and it's done. Yes,
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: you know it wasn't though. We had to get up,
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: go to the stove find it all. Like it's you
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: can just do compulsive buying and you can press a
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: button and press a button. I got that, or I
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: got that and I got that and next thing, you know, no,
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: you don't have that. And I think that's a big
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: cause of it right there, the accessibility of everything, and
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: it's so easy to do, right. We didn't give him
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: a credit card to do it. That's the problem. Yeah,
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: because the parents, you guys live a better lifestyle than
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: how our parents did, so you're able to give your kids,
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: you know, I mean, you gotta give him a debit
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: card because that's everything. Ain't set up on that, you
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: know what I mean. You don't want them carrying the cash,
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: so you give them a debit card. But you've got
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: to teach them. And that's the struggle. Uh, my boys
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: are better at it. Well, Morgan's really good with money.
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: But Morgan and her husband are very very self sufficient.
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: Carlin and her husband are very self sufficient. Brandy's out,
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: she's self sufficient. My oldest son, I don't have to
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: concern myself with him. Lauran went and lost. Damn well,
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: given the two that's always had a good yeah, yeah,
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: them two right there, they ain't had no, they ain't
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: hand no daughter, are you still in the given situation
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: of their lives? Meaning if they don't have it? I
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: am yeah, yeah, yeah, my daughters Yeah, yeah, I mean,
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: you know, if they come to me with a situation,
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: I have to let them have to go to some man. Yeah,
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: you know, I'll help them before they have to go
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: to some man, because then I know that come with
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: some stipulation. So yeah, one of my daughters just text
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: me today. You know. They make me sick though, the
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: way they text, Hey dad, you know what, but put
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: something with it. Yeah, it's really not a lot behind
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: the big and that they do because it's so short.
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: It's not but I don't but don't text me Hey dad,
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: question mark. I'm busy. I got stuff to do, And
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: but they text like they talk hey dad, and then
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: they wait on you to go hey girl, and then
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: they go, what you're doing? And then it took me
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: for ever to find out what w y D was.
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: Oh yeah, so I said, walking down, I love it.
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: I love millennials. I love them. And then I'm gonna
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: go back and forth like that, and I don't have
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: that kind of time, so I ignore the hey dad text,
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: what do you want? You know? Because I don't have
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: time to take back, go hey you? How you doing it?
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: How you that w y D? I ain't got time
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: for that. Figure out? I wish they had what we had,
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: just the jac painted cabin. I don't want you. Better
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: get busy. My daughter said, what could that do to you?
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: Call somebody else? All right, we'll have more of the
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're listening to
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: Steve Morning Show. What did you do to embarrass? I?
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: Damn family though that we don't know nothing, But what
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: did you do talking? No? No, no, hold on, hold on,
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on stop no, no, no,
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: you just set yourself up. Let's start with your stupid
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: little le Let's start. Let's start with when you got
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: the brand new bike, roaded to the stove and did
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: came home without the bike because your little dumb ass
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: forgot your hat a new bike and left it in
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: front of the store. Now the war little family to
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: stole the damn bike. I got to go down there
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: and fight two of them boys. Get your dumb ass
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: bike back. Let's start there. Okay, let's answer your questions.
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: I think the hell you forget you got a new bike.
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: I'm sitting on the steps. Tommy coming up the street,
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: I said, hey, man, where your bike? Huh? I forgot what?
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: Oh man? What a new bike? Yeah? Now I got
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: to go down there. I got to fight two of
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: the ward war or Henry Ware and Floyd w had
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: to go down there and fight both of them. And
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: then what I had to do, what was even deeper
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: to get to this ignorant ass boy bike back that
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: had been on social media. Still be in jail. Huh
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: left from two kids memory labs. It was just, you know,
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: it's just who has a memory laps? At eight, coming
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: out more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Morning Show. Go ahead, all right, listen.
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: I have a date this weekend. Yeah, it's the first
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: date too. So this is your truth be told, Yes, sir,
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: and always true. Yeah. I have a first date this
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: weekend and it's first date. Just want you to know,
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: first date with a girl. Yeah, I thought you talking
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: about comedy show stand up the first time in a city. No, no, no,
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: it's the date, first date, and this could go either way,
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: but you know, it could go out of the date.
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: I don't know, you know, if I'm gonna like her,
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: she's gonna like me. I don't want you. Well, you know,
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: we just you know, somebody set it up. I was
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: it's a blind Yeah, we see you talking, gonna try
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: to but I don't know if it's really gonna work
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: because I little choose a spot. She's chosen steakhouse. Now
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: I truth be told. I'm just gonna tell you right now,
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: truth be told. First days don't start with with steak.
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: They start with chicken. Yeah, I'm telling you right now,
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: first day, the starts with chicken. It'll start with steak
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: because first of all, yeah, that's that's putting too much
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: in on. Now what if I don't like it? Okay,
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: you don't like me, then you don't got a steak
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: off of me. Let's they ain't nobody mad when you
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: eat chicken restaurant serves family packs of chicken. I seem
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: knocked down, drag out. Arguments have fallen out over chicken,
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: and ain't nobody mad? But when you get a steak, okay,
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: it's an issue. If we don't, we'll see eye to
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: eye because a lot more than Hey, why should you
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: have eighty of my dolls? I ain't gonna see you
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: no more. You ain't gonna call me no more? Go ahead,
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: let's go down here to churches and let's sit around
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: and talk. Hey, Julius, what happened to this? Right here?
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: When a man meets a woman, he puts his best
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: foot for yes, and chicken is the best foot. I'm
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: putting my foot right out there. Let's get this ten piece.
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: Let's talk about this. Hen you mean like fried chicken?
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: He signed chicken? You want long as its chicken, baked,
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: grilled Bobby Q. I don't. But what we can't do
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: is had it steak? But now you got eighty of
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: my dollars. Then you're talking about all did you go
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: bad talking to your friend already? Well, Junior, why didn't
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: you pick the restaurant? Why didn't you set up? I
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: didn't know what she liked and she said, well this
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: is real place. I looked up on that and find
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: out this is a steakhouse and a very nice steakhouse
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: at that. Now, first of all together, what wait, what
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: you all miss something? Ft of all I saw when
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: I first saw all of them toes ain't together right there?
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: I don't even know why go yeah, well yeah, why
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: are you going to Fortin't get wolver has to have
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: nice Yeah, but they just said, I agree. Day Eddie,
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: Murphy and Boomerang. All right, coming up our last break
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: of the day. We're going to close out the show
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: you're listening to. All right, here we are last break
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: of the day. It's been a crazy day as usual
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: of the time. We like, right, and here's our fearless
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: leader to take us home with closing remarks today, I
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: just want to pose the question because I try to
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: find different ways to motivate people as I ask God
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: to help me find new ways. Today I just decided
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: to try this. I just want to ask you a
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: series of questions because I'm just trying to get everybody
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: to get to moving towards their dreams. I'm just trying
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: to get everybody to get started on the pathway of
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: accomplishing your visions and your goals and your dreams. It's
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: gonna take some action, though. You know, you can't just
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: want something. Have you ever people say, if you want
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: something bad enough, it'll happen. That's not true, that, that's
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: so not true. Do you know how many times you've
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: actually wanted something really bad and didn't get it? What? What? Who?
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: I don't know who said that? Why? Why they tell
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: people that if you want something bad enough, it'll really happen.
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: It can happen, No, it won't. It requires an action.
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: Faith without works is dead. If you don't do anything,
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: you can't stop expecting to get everything. If you don't
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: do anything, you can stop expecting to get everything. Now,
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: God is going to give all of us some grace
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: in spite of our shortcomings and lack of effort. He
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: will give all of us some grace that we'll all
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: get some things that we really don't deserve. You know,
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: it just provides us breaks. But in those breaks, he's
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: trying to sustain you, just to get you to say, wow, man,
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: if I had just done a little bit more of
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: what could I have had, or if I had done
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: a little bit more of what could have happened. So
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: my question today for you is just I'm asking you
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: a series of very very simple questions, maybe four or five.
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: You're waiting for? What? Tell me what is it you're
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: waiting for? Because oftentimes when I talk to people, I
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: get some responses that just throw me off, you know,
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: because what you're waiting for? What? What is it going
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: to take to get you started? What is the motivation?
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: What is the button? What is the trigger that fires
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: you to get going to moving towards your dreams and visions?
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: You're waiting for? What? I don't understand? Are you perfectly
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: comfortable where you are right now? Have you decided and
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: settled in that this is it for me? Have you
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: gotten tired of waking up and you're asking the question, Wow,
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: it's got to be more to my life than this. What?
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: Have you just gotten tired of that and you don't
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: want to deal with it no more? So you just
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: decided what that? You're just gonna lock in like where
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: I am. It's cool, You're all right with that. Let
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: me ask you another question. Have all the ducks ever
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: lined up in a row? Because if that's what you're
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: waiting for, let me just ask you, has it ever
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: been set that while I see exactly step by step,
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: I'm gonna get down, gonna get that everything is perfect.
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: I'm gonna start now. If you're waiting on the perfect
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: time to start, you may never start it, because there
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: is no such a thing as the perfect time. The
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: perfect time is now. That's the perfect time. If you're
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: waiting on something else to happen, it probably ain't gonna
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: happen because you gotta figure like this, Suppose it don't
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: happen what you're gonna do, then she just got to
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: come to that conclusion. Suppose it don't happen what you're
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: gonna do. Then suppose you don't get to degree what
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: you're gonna do, then you're gonna fail. Suppose you don't
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: get that job that you got your eyes on. So
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: you don't get that job. So now what you unemployed
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: the rest of your life because you didn't meet that deadline.
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: You can't make another one. You're waiting for. What what's
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: it gonna take to get your started? Have your ducks
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: ever all lined up in a row? The answer is no.
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: The perfect time to start is now. Let me ask
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: you this question. Does it appear to be getting any
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: closer even though you're not moving towards it. Does it
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: appear to be getting any closer even though you're not
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: moving towards it? The answer is no, it's not getting
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: closer because you're not walking towards anything. If you don't
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: walk towards something, please stop expecting it to get closer.
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: It will not happen. Success is not a magic trick.
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: It's a series of steps that people take over and
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: over and over and over, and in spite of what happens,
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: they take those steps. Anyway, does it appear to be
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: getting closer even though you're not moving towards it? It's
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: probably not. But could that be why you're not getting
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: what you want because you ain't moving towards nothing? Last question,
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: Could it be that you just don't want anything more?
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: Maybe that's it. Maybe you don't quit wanting a new coffee.
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: Maybe you don't quit wanting the bigger house. All Steve
