• 0:15
Speaker 1: million bucks things in the sub good it sting together?
• 0:30
Speaker 1: Please don't join join me. You gotta use that turn
• 1:10
Speaker 1: you are you gotta turn to turn them out. Turn
• 1:43
Speaker 1: You got to turn out to turn the water the
• 1:47
Speaker 1: water go. Come come on your back. Uh huh, I
• 2:02
Speaker 1: show will good morning everybody, y'all listening to the bars,
• 2:06
Speaker 1: come on dig me now wanting on it. Steve Harvey
• 2:10
Speaker 1: got a radio show, Man on Man on man, grateful
• 2:13
Speaker 1: for it comes with a huge amount of responsibility. I
• 2:17
Speaker 1: didn't really know I was gonna have to be this responsible,
• 2:20
Speaker 1: you know, Um, can I share something with y'all? I
• 2:23
Speaker 1: started out to Finally I had gotten on track and
• 2:27
Speaker 1: was able to see a way to even pursue my dream.
• 2:33
Speaker 1: It has been a long, a long trip that I've
• 2:36
Speaker 1: been on, and I've gone through so many phases of it.
• 2:40
Speaker 1: It is rewarding along the way to accomplish your dreams.
• 2:45
Speaker 1: What I'm saying is this, let me let me put
• 2:47
Speaker 1: it together because I got so much running through my
• 2:49
Speaker 1: head right now. You know, it's it's one thing to
• 2:52
Speaker 1: accomplish your dream, but there's joy in the process of
• 2:58
Speaker 1: achieving it. See, some people are so caught up in
• 3:03
Speaker 1: the goal, the final goal, that they find no joy,
• 3:09
Speaker 1: no enjoyment in the process. If you have found what
• 3:15
Speaker 1: it is you want to do and you strike out
• 3:19
Speaker 1: on that journey, please understand you are far more blessed
• 3:24
Speaker 1: than the average person to know what it is you
• 3:27
Speaker 1: really want to do. To find your work in life,
• 3:32
Speaker 1: your purpose, to find out what direction you want to
• 3:36
Speaker 1: go in is such a blessing. The average person, if
• 3:40
Speaker 1: you sit down and talk to them, oftentimes don't have
• 3:44
Speaker 1: their life on track. And it'd be some people that
• 3:46
Speaker 1: you're looking at you think God it going on because
• 3:49
Speaker 1: of their appearance, their swagger, or they walk like it,
• 3:53
Speaker 1: they talk like it, they look like it. But if
• 3:55
Speaker 1: you sit down and talk to the average person, the
• 3:59
Speaker 1: average person man does not know what their purpose is,
• 4:04
Speaker 1: has not discovered what they want to do, and have
• 4:07
Speaker 1: no idea how to get there. If you are on
• 4:10
Speaker 1: the other side of that, if you understand your purpose,
• 4:14
Speaker 1: if you have an idea of what you want to be,
• 4:17
Speaker 1: and you are on your way there, you are truly blessed.
• 4:22
Speaker 1: And in that blessing you must recognize it as a blessing.
• 4:27
Speaker 1: You must recognize the fact that you are on the
• 4:31
Speaker 1: right side, and that there should be a sense of
• 4:34
Speaker 1: accomplishment and a feeling of pride in you that you
• 4:38
Speaker 1: are on track to accomplish your goal. See what used
• 4:42
Speaker 1: to happen was sometimes I used to keep my nose
• 4:45
Speaker 1: so on the grindstone that I wouldn't even look up
• 4:49
Speaker 1: and realize. Man, hey, man, I know you're trying to
• 4:53
Speaker 1: get here, but Steve hold on, man, can't you see
• 4:56
Speaker 1: what you've done so far? Can't you find just some
• 4:59
Speaker 1: joy in the process. See, a lot of us lose
• 5:03
Speaker 1: the joy of the blessings God has given us because
• 5:06
Speaker 1: we're looking at the end. Tomot, I ain't there yet.
• 5:09
Speaker 1: You on your way. I'm gonna give you an example.
• 5:12
Speaker 1: I had a friend who told me that they wanted
• 5:16
Speaker 1: to be a million now, and they asked me some
• 5:18
Speaker 1: questions and I told him, so they started the process,
• 5:22
Speaker 1: And I am telling you, this dude works extremely hard.
• 5:29
Speaker 1: So about a year later we were talking. He had
• 5:34
Speaker 1: found this business, he had set his goal, and he
• 5:40
Speaker 1: was working towards it. Then about two years later I
• 5:43
Speaker 1: ran up into him again. We were talking about it
• 5:45
Speaker 1: and everything. It's a man. Really really appreciate the advice.
• 5:49
Speaker 1: He said, Man, but this is all jacked up, man,
• 5:52
Speaker 1: because I still ain't made that million I was talking about.
• 5:56
Speaker 1: I said, well, hey, man, just just keep at it.
• 5:58
Speaker 1: It's coming. He's a man. Keep at it. Man. You
• 6:01
Speaker 1: know how long I've been doing this? Been two years now.
• 6:05
Speaker 1: And I didn't say that to him, but I said
• 6:07
Speaker 1: to myself, yeah, two years. He said, Man, I've been
• 6:10
Speaker 1: grinding so long. Man, it's just it ain't having it
• 6:12
Speaker 1: from me. I said, wait a minute, man, hold on,
• 6:15
Speaker 1: hold on. I said, about how much you're making right
• 6:18
Speaker 1: now a year? Man, about two hundred and fifty thousand.
• 6:24
Speaker 1: I quit breathing. I said, well, my man, two years
• 6:28
Speaker 1: ago you didn't have a clue. Two years later, you're
• 6:34
Speaker 1: making a quarter of a million dollars. I said, man,
• 6:37
Speaker 1: do you understand how blessed you are? I said, Man,
• 6:41
Speaker 1: your family was about to get put out two years ago.
• 6:46
Speaker 1: You don't bought a house? Yeah, man, but this ain't
• 6:48
Speaker 1: the house. I really won't. Ohoa Pardner, whoa, I got that?
• 6:52
Speaker 1: I got that house. You really won't make Mike call
• 6:56
Speaker 1: five eight million. I don't know, but man, y'all gotta
• 6:59
Speaker 1: hig you're making a payments, you drive it. You ain't
• 7:02
Speaker 1: out no more. I said, hold on, man, you got
• 7:04
Speaker 1: to stop. I said, you got to stop. I said, man,
• 7:06
Speaker 1: because right now, man, you you coming across as real
• 7:09
Speaker 1: ungrateful to me. And so he said, man, why are
• 7:11
Speaker 1: you tripping like that? Man? Man, you act like don't
• 7:14
Speaker 1: nobody want to have nothing but you? I said, whoa man,
• 7:16
Speaker 1: where are you going with this conversation? I said, Oh,
• 7:19
Speaker 1: I didn't come to you. I just came to you
• 7:20
Speaker 1: and ask you how you doing. And I'm trying to
• 7:23
Speaker 1: point out to you that the journey that you started on,
• 7:27
Speaker 1: that you are on your weight, and you are in
• 7:29
Speaker 1: the process of accomplishing your goals. And can you not
• 7:32
Speaker 1: feel some joy and some pleasure in your accomplishment. Quit
• 7:36
Speaker 1: tripping on the fact that you ain't made a million yet.
• 7:39
Speaker 1: You on your way. You don't went from your He thought,
• 7:42
Speaker 1: this dude was making fifteen thousand dollars a year. You
• 7:44
Speaker 1: making quarter of a million dollars in two years. May
• 7:46
Speaker 1: come on, man, can't you see? Can't you see? So
• 7:50
Speaker 1: he said eventually, a man, I kind of see what
• 7:53
Speaker 1: you're saying. But that ain't about nothing to me because
• 7:55
Speaker 1: I ran up into him a year and a half later.
• 8:00
Speaker 1: How you're doing, man, Man, I showed, wish I'd appreciate
• 8:04
Speaker 1: it my life when I had it like that? I said,
• 8:06
Speaker 1: what you mean, had it like that? Man? Just fell
• 8:09
Speaker 1: on some hard times. Man, I'm right back why I was.
• 8:13
Speaker 1: And then we talked. I said, hey, man, don't worry
• 8:15
Speaker 1: about it. I said, Once you know how to accomplish something,
• 8:17
Speaker 1: I said, you just reapply the same principles and start
• 8:20
Speaker 1: on over again. Man, you know how hard it is
• 8:23
Speaker 1: to be to start over. Okay, my man, Hold up, partner,
• 8:25
Speaker 1: you can't do yourself like this again. First you wasn't
• 8:28
Speaker 1: grateful for what you had. Now you're looking at the
• 8:31
Speaker 1: fact that you might have to start over, and you
• 8:33
Speaker 1: know how hard it is to start over. Maybe God said, okay,
• 8:38
Speaker 1: you ain't happy with this. Okay, didn't handle it your way?
• 8:42
Speaker 1: You obviously ain't happy with the way I'm bringing it
• 8:44
Speaker 1: into your life. You want to handle it your weight,
• 8:46
Speaker 1: Go ahead and handle it because he will let you
• 8:48
Speaker 1: have it your way. Can I tell you that he
• 8:51
Speaker 1: will let you do it exactly the way you want
• 8:53
Speaker 1: to it because He gives us all the power of choice.
• 8:55
Speaker 1: So then maybe he said, Okay, you don't appreciate the
• 8:58
Speaker 1: way I'm doing it. You don't like the favor I'm
• 9:00
Speaker 1: showing you. You think it's take it too long. I'm
• 9:02
Speaker 1: gonna let you do it your way. I'm not gonna
• 9:04
Speaker 1: turn my back on you. I'm just gonna let you
• 9:06
Speaker 1: do it your way. Just just say. Maybe he said that,
• 9:10
Speaker 1: and now he right back where it was. So what
• 9:12
Speaker 1: I try to get the young cat to understand was, man,
• 9:16
Speaker 1: appreciate your life for what it is. Because like life,
• 9:20
Speaker 1: Jenny's got that song that he got out off this album.
• 9:23
Speaker 1: Still I still believe it could have been worse. And
• 9:26
Speaker 1: now that it is worse, what's on your mind now, folks,
• 9:31
Speaker 1: If you are on that side of life where you
• 9:33
Speaker 1: have figured out what you want to do, you know
• 9:35
Speaker 1: how you're gonna get that, and you know your purpose.
• 9:38
Speaker 1: You're accomplishing what the majority of people never ever do.
• 9:41
Speaker 1: So be grateful for your process. Don't tumble yourself, don't
• 9:45
Speaker 1: throw yourself off to cliff. It's gonna be all right.
• 9:48
Speaker 1: Success takes a measure of time. It is not easy.
• 9:52
Speaker 1: If success were easy, everybody would be successful. You're listening,
• 10:01
Speaker 1: ladies and gymen. May I have your attention please to

• 12:08
Speaker 1: you know, I'm used to being a little zippers at
• 12:10
Speaker 1: the bottom of the leg, you know. And I put
• 12:15
Speaker 1: on a pad of other day throw back. My son
• 12:20
Speaker 1: saw me and laid in the gym flow last. I said,

Speaker 1: the pizza and the don't move on go on somewhere
• 13:13
Speaker 1: a little boy, sir, just lay the pizza down and
• 13:18
Speaker 1: walk away. Here's what you're seeing. Here's plenty of those
• 13:24
Speaker 1: TV anchors got caught with no bottoms on, and yeah,
• 13:28
Speaker 1: oh they're all doing it, man, So I don't know,
• 13:32
Speaker 1: you might will rethink that, all right? Coming up at
• 13:35
Speaker 1: thirty two minutes after the hour, asked the cello. The
• 13:38
Speaker 1: Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey in the building right after this.
• 13:43
Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, time now
• 13:47
Speaker 1: for ask the cello. This one cello is from Kim
• 13:51
Speaker 1: and Harlem. She says, I'm a thirty seven year old
• 13:53
Speaker 1: single woman and listening to Uncle Steve is my therapy.
• 13:57
Speaker 1: I used to love threesome, second clubs and wild. I
• 14:05
Speaker 1: used to Yeah, then one day Uncle Steve said, you
• 14:08
Speaker 1: can't invite sin into your home and try to control it.
• 14:13
Speaker 1: A lightbulb went off for me and I stopped being promiscuous.
• 14:17
Speaker 1: Now I want a man all to myself and have
• 14:20
Speaker 1: a normal life, but I have no idea how to
• 14:22
Speaker 1: act around a normal, decent guy. I'm used to low
• 14:25
Speaker 1: lives and slick talkers, so that's what I attract, Uncle Steve.
• 14:30
Speaker 1: Is it possible to retrain my brain age love? Absolutely?
• 14:36
Speaker 1: It ain't ever too late to get it right. That's right.
• 14:40
Speaker 1: Do you realize that you can make mistake after mistake
• 14:43
Speaker 1: after mistake and God will allow you to get up
• 14:46
Speaker 1: chance after chance. Man, if it wasn't for those chances
• 14:50
Speaker 1: and grace, or none of us would be standing here. Hello.
• 14:54
Speaker 1: You can retrain your brain. All you got to do
• 14:58
Speaker 1: is ask God to help you. It's as simple as that. Look,
• 15:03
Speaker 1: I want to be better. Meet a lady. There are
• 15:06
Speaker 1: lots of women out there who are classy. Meet some
• 15:11
Speaker 1: classy women. Go to church, go down to the join
• 15:15
Speaker 1: some organization. Find classy women and talk to him about
• 15:19
Speaker 1: what your problem was that you feel safe around, and
• 15:22
Speaker 1: share with him and let classy women tell you how
• 15:24
Speaker 1: to do that. I can't really teach a woman how
• 15:27
Speaker 1: to be a woman. So I'm not gonna pretend that.
• 15:29
Speaker 1: But if you go around some classy women, they'll share class.
• 15:33
Speaker 1: You don't even have to ask. They just classic in
• 15:35
Speaker 1: a judgment free zone, is what you Yeah, because everyone
• 15:39
Speaker 1: has a past. But if you're backslide, you know this
• 15:45
Speaker 1: one's from Darrel and hold what the boy be? What
• 15:49
Speaker 1: is he talking about? Tommy? Boy? About Tommy? Yeah? He
• 15:53
Speaker 1: talking about itself? Yeah, and just says Daryl and Topeka, Kansas,
• 16:03
Speaker 1: Kansas says, my girlfriend and I have been together for
• 16:06
Speaker 1: two years and we're perfect together. But she loves to
• 16:09
Speaker 1: smoke weed. She first tried weed with her sister's husband
• 16:13
Speaker 1: a year ago, and she smokes daily now. Her sister
• 16:16
Speaker 1: and I don't smoke, so it bothers me when my
• 16:19
Speaker 1: girlfriend goes off with her sister's husband to smoke in
• 16:23
Speaker 1: the garage or closed up in the car with him.
• 16:25
Speaker 1: I have a problem with her being high and alone
• 16:28
Speaker 1: with him, But she says, I'm overthinking it. Do you
• 16:31
Speaker 1: think he's smoking with her because he's attracted to her?
• 16:34
Speaker 1: Or do you think they're just doing it for the
• 16:36
Speaker 1: love of weeds? Brother? May's you a question, man, Ain't
• 16:39
Speaker 1: you attracted to her. Let me ask you another question. Dog. Now,
• 16:46
Speaker 1: this is your girlfriend's sister's husband, right, you've seen your
• 16:56
Speaker 1: girlfriend's sister. Do it makes sense to you that he
• 17:03
Speaker 1: would be attracted to your girl? M That's all I
• 17:09
Speaker 1: got to say. They all out in the car together.
• 17:13
Speaker 1: I would think that his girl would have a problem
• 17:16
Speaker 1: with that. And I'm pretty sure you have a problem
• 17:19
Speaker 1: with it. And if you're overthinking it, what what? What?
• 17:23
Speaker 1: What is overthinking? Why you out there? Smokers wet every
• 17:27
Speaker 1: day every day? Now you just now you just they
• 17:34
Speaker 1: just weed smokers. Okay, but but do you have to
• 17:39
Speaker 1: have a partner to smoke? You don't time to time
• 17:43
Speaker 1: talk to But the weed I smoked, I have partners.
• 17:46
Speaker 1: They are there alone. But once I started smoking, partners appear,
• 17:51
Speaker 1: so I don't. But it's legal in LA in the
• 17:56
Speaker 1: air with smoking. See and this and Jay, this is
• 18:01
Speaker 1: what's crazy. Man. I've never ever smoked weed. I never good.
• 18:08
Speaker 1: It's good. I tingle now, So if you wanted to no,
• 18:12
Speaker 1: I mean, I don't knock people who do it. It
• 18:14
Speaker 1: don't make me better. That's for damn show. I just said. Wait,
• 18:19
Speaker 1: the last thing I need is something all to my behavior.
• 18:24
Speaker 1: We don't want you high, you don't handle you. I'm
• 18:32
Speaker 1: good when i'm low, all right. This one's from k
• 18:38
Speaker 1: J in Southfield, Michigan. I'm a forty three year old
• 18:41
Speaker 1: single woman and I have been working from home since April.
• 18:45
Speaker 1: I used to order everything I needed and had it delivered,
• 18:48
Speaker 1: including groceries. I always got my groceries on Thursdays so
• 18:52
Speaker 1: I could get the same delivery guy. He was handsome
• 18:55
Speaker 1: and I enjoyed flirting with him. The flirting led to sex,
• 18:59
Speaker 1: and it was amazing sex. But then he got a
• 19:02
Speaker 1: new job, so I didn't see him anymore. My office
• 19:06
Speaker 1: opened up on July fifteenth and I had to report
• 19:09
Speaker 1: to work. I was shocked to see that my delivery

• 22:02
Speaker 1: daughter Sakia bit my son Joshua in the back, and
• 22:05
Speaker 1: I just let no. I just said no. Two things.
• 22:08
Speaker 1: One my daughter wouldn't bite nobody, and two, don't call
• 22:10
Speaker 1: my house with this tone. I called with any kind
• 22:13
Speaker 1: of tone. What I want to call with. All I'm
• 22:15
Speaker 1: saying is your daughter then bit my son in the back.
• 22:18
Speaker 1: And I'm gonna tell you. I'm saying is don't call
• 22:21
Speaker 1: my house with this attitude saying some that my daughter
• 22:25
Speaker 1: beat your child in the back. My daughter has manners,
• 22:28
Speaker 1: and she wouldn't be biting nobody in the back. You know, somebody,
• 22:32
Speaker 1: how the hell you know what your daughter gonna be doing?

• 29:13
Speaker 1: We gotta get out of here, guys, coming up. At
• 29:15
Speaker 1: the top of the hour. There is a recall on
• 29:17
Speaker 1: certain hand sanitizers. Plus Missanna's gonna have national news and uh,
• 29:22
Speaker 1: we'll be right back with all of that entertainment and
• 29:25
Speaker 1: national news right after this. You're listening to show. Well,
• 29:31
Speaker 1: there's been a recall on hand sanitizers. The FDA is
• 29:35
Speaker 1: warning consumers and healthcare providers that certain hand sanitizers are
• 29:39
Speaker 1: labeled to contain ethanol, also known as ethyl alcohol, but
• 29:43
Speaker 1: they have tested positive from methanol contamination, which could be
• 29:47
Speaker 1: toxic upon contact on the skin or if you ingest it,
• 29:52
Speaker 1: So please read the labels and make sure that you
• 29:56
Speaker 1: know your hand sanitizer doesn't have these ingredients on them
• 30:00
Speaker 1: if they're listed hand. Yes, we don't know what was
• 30:06
Speaker 1: what's good, what it ain't good? Damn? What's the next
• 30:14
Speaker 1: recalled toilet paper? We're just living in crazy times right now,
• 30:18
Speaker 1: just crazy. Yeah, they call it recalling toilet paper. They're
• 30:22
Speaker 1: producing a certain brand. I can't tell you which one
• 30:25
Speaker 1: it is, but a lot of severe paper cuts. Oh
• 30:30
Speaker 1: on your own you yeah, yeah, that's where everybody crazy. Yes,
• 30:46
Speaker 1: they got that razor blade called toilet paper over there.
• 30:49
Speaker 1: You don't want that one now, all right? And other
• 30:53
Speaker 1: entertainment news. Dray Michelle was dragged on social media recently
• 30:57
Speaker 1: when she choked about Mega Stallion being shot in the
• 30:59
Speaker 1: foot by Tory Lane. Even Megan the Stallion herself tweeted
• 31:03
Speaker 1: about how wrong Drea was for making light of the situation.
• 31:06
Speaker 1: Drea is back to tracking and apologizing now, saying, quote,
• 31:10
Speaker 1: I truly don't glorify domestic violence. I was trying to say,
• 31:14
Speaker 1: just love me deeply, but while trying to be funny,
• 31:17
Speaker 1: I offended many, including Meg and I'm sorry. So there's
• 31:22
Speaker 1: her age she's a reality star and an actress. Yeah
• 31:33
Speaker 1: all right, So moving on, Carlo is here with music news.
• 31:37
Speaker 1: What you got Carla? All right? So guys, the verses
• 31:41
Speaker 1: battle the other night for the dogs. It was the
• 31:44
Speaker 1: Battle of the Dogs DMX and Snoop Dog. It went down.
• 31:49
Speaker 1: It was so good. But I don't know. Everybody was
• 31:52
Speaker 1: saying it was a tie. Yeah, that's what everybody said.
• 31:55
Speaker 1: I saw that it was good. It was good. Yea, yeah,
• 31:59
Speaker 1: X we talk what I really walked from them? What
• 32:03
Speaker 1: they really want from a brother? Y? Yeah, yeah, I
• 32:08
Speaker 1: do too. I love Dr Max. They were just some
• 32:09
Speaker 1: hip hop legends just having a good time, you know,
• 32:13
Speaker 1: doing all their hits and just battling each other. But
• 32:16
Speaker 1: you have music, girl, though, who really won? It was
• 32:19
  Speaker 1: a time, It's a time. I keep at win that
• 32:25
Speaker 1: they got the same amount of hits. Yeah, rough riders,
• 32:30
Speaker 1: Yeah yeah X. I thought Snoop. I thought Snoop had
• 32:34
  Speaker 1: more hits. I'm just I just that's just me. I
• 32:36
Speaker 1: thought Snoop and I love DMX, but I thought, I mean,
• 32:39
Speaker 1: if you're get one, maybe Snoop does have more. But
• 32:44
Speaker 1: I'm just yeah, DMX got Snoop in crime. I don't
• 32:50
Speaker 1: know Jay, it might be a le once you've been
• 32:55
Speaker 1: on trial for murder. That's pretty much top dog on that.
• 33:01
Speaker 1: Since we battle a dog and I got on, Robbie,
• 33:08
  Speaker 1: I got I got a salting battery, I got murder.
• 33:12
Speaker 1: All right, okay, okay, right there, We're gonna get you
• 33:15
Speaker 1: out that one. Yeah, yeah, okay, cool, Yeah, everybody said that. Yeah,
• 33:24
Speaker 1: all right, Carla, thank you, Yeah, all right, Steve. Time
• 33:28
Speaker 1: for today's headlines, ladies and gentlemen. Miss Anne Tripp, thank you,
• 33:32
Speaker 1: Good morning, everybody. This is a trip well. President trusts
• 33:35
Speaker 1: big plans for next month or no more. The illness
• 33:38
Speaker 1: that so many of his supporters insisted was only made
• 33:40
Speaker 1: up to keep him from being reelected is to blame
• 33:44
Speaker 1: and what amounts to a major reversal. The President now
• 33:46
Speaker 1: says it wouldn't be right to hold his plan big
• 33:48
Speaker 1: GOP nominating convention in Jacksonville, Florida, next month. The timing
• 33:52
Speaker 1: for this event is not right, just not right with
• 33:55
Speaker 1: what's happened recently, the flare up in Florida. To have
• 33:59
Speaker 1: a big convention, it's not the right time. You may
• 34:02
Speaker 1: remember that Trump moves his party's convention from North Carolina
• 34:05
Speaker 1: to Florida, after the governor of the tar Hill state
• 34:07
Speaker 1: expressed reservations about hosting such an event in light of
• 34:10
Speaker 1: the coronavirus. But now COVID nineteen cases of skyrocketing in Florida.
• 34:14
Speaker 1: Delegates to the convention, though we'll still meet in Charlotte,
• 34:17
Speaker 1: North Carolina, the whole small business meetings, but Trump's keynote
• 34:21
Speaker 1: acceptance speech on stage in Jacksonville will not take place.
• 34:24
Speaker 1: Speaking of which, Florida reported more than ten thousand corona
• 34:27
Speaker 1: infections yesterday and for about the seventh straight day, putting
• 34:31
Speaker 1: the Sunshine State behind only California and New York in
• 34:34
Speaker 1: total cases, with close to three hundred and ninety thousand
• 34:37
Speaker 1: people testing positive. However, Miami Mayor Francis Suarez says that
• 34:42
Speaker 1: with people wearing masks and social distancing and stuff, numbers
• 34:45
Speaker 1: seem to be coming down in his city. Not long ago,
• 34:47
Speaker 1: he says the city was seeing about one hundred and
• 34:49
Speaker 1: twenty five cases of COVID a day. He says that
• 34:52
Speaker 1: numbers down to about twenty five daily of the radio increasing,
• 34:58
Speaker 1: which means that the curve. Mayor Suarez says much of
• 35:02
Speaker 1: the spread now as among people who live in multigenerational households.
• 35:05
Speaker 1: Those folks have to be very, very careful. At the
• 35:09
Speaker 1: same time, the President Trump has been crowing about his
• 35:11
Speaker 1: plans to send more federal agents into American cities. The
• 35:15
Speaker 1: US Justice Departments Inspector General says a review was underway
• 35:18
Speaker 1: into the conduct of those federal agents sent into Portland, Oregon,
• 35:22
Speaker 1: and Washington, DC accused of excessive violence and racism. The
• 35:26
Speaker 1: watchdog says that all look into allegations of excessive use
• 35:29
Speaker 1: of force in Portland, where flash grenades and other harsh
• 35:33
Speaker 1: measures to disperse crowds of Black Lives Matter protesters, even
• 35:36
Speaker 1: tear gassing the mayor of Portland. The mayor was tear
• 35:39
Speaker 1: gas the other day. House of Representatives has voted to
• 35:43
Speaker 1: remove the statutes of Confederate generals and other proponents of
• 35:46
Speaker 1: slavery and segregation from Capitol Hill grounds. The Democratic majority
• 35:49
Speaker 1: joined by seventy two Republicans in approving that bill. How
• 35:52
Speaker 1: Speaker Nancy Pelosi says the sculptures pay homage to hate
• 35:55
Speaker 1: and not heritage. Finally, six days of ceremonies begin tomorrow
• 36:01
Speaker 1: to honor the late Congressman and civil rights icon John Lewis.
• 36:04
Speaker 1: There's to be a service Saturday at Detroit University in
• 36:07
Speaker 1: his native Alabama. His body lies in repose and sell
• 36:10
Speaker 1: my Alabama, before procession brings his body to the Edmund
• 36:13
Speaker 1: Pettis Bridge. Sunday, his body lies and proposed at the
• 36:16
Speaker 1: Alabama State Capitol. Then he's brought to the US Capital
• 36:19
Speaker 1: to lie, repose and a service tribute to the Capitol.
• 36:22
Speaker 1: After that is in Southview Cemetery in Atlanta, where he
• 36:26
Speaker 1: will be laid to rest. Back to the Steve Harvey
• 36:28
Speaker 1: Morning Show. You're listening Stry Morning Show. All right, So
• 36:34
Speaker 1: Jay I is here as he always here is he
• 36:37
Speaker 1: brought a murder the hit with them? What you got
• 36:39
Speaker 1: this time? Jack? When I did today was a little different.
• 36:42
Speaker 1: I have three snippets of songs and I want the
• 36:45

• 39:47
Speaker 1: coming up in thirty four minutes after the hours, Donald
• 39:50
Speaker 1: Trump responded to Joe Biden, labeling him as the first
• 39:53
Speaker 1: racist president. We'll talk about it right after this. You're listening,
• 39:58
Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, during a virtual town hall
• 40:03
Speaker 1: meeting with former Vice President Joe Biden hosted by the
• 40:06
Speaker 1: Service Employee Industry Union, an Asian healthcare worker who immigrated
• 40:11
Speaker 1: from South Korea said she had been racially profiled by
• 40:15
Speaker 1: white Americans at the supermarket. Joe Biden said he was
• 40:18
Speaker 1: so angry to hear about her experience, and he referred
• 40:21
Speaker 1: to Donald Trump, calling COVID nineteen the China virus. Mister
• 40:25
Speaker 1: Biden went on to say that Donald Trump is the
• 40:29
Speaker 1: first racist to win the presidency. Take a listen. No
• 40:33
Speaker 1: sitting president has ever done this, never, never, never, No
• 40:37
Speaker 1: Republican president has done this, No Democratic president. We've have
• 40:41
Speaker 1: racist and they've existed. They've tried to get elected president.
• 40:44
Speaker 1: He's the first one that had whoa Biden is to
• 40:53
Speaker 1: do because he from Boston. He gonna bring it. He
• 40:58
Speaker 1: played his game at you mane. Well okay, So so
• 41:02
Speaker 1: Donald Trump responded to Biden's labeling him as the first
• 41:05
Speaker 1: racist president. Take a listen, and maybe most importantly or
• 41:08
Speaker 1: you look at criminal justice reform, you look at prison reform.
• 41:12
Speaker 1: I've done things that nobody else. And I've said this,
• 41:15
Speaker 1: and I said openly, and not a lot of people
• 41:17
Speaker 1: dispute it. I've done more for Black Americans than anybody,
• 41:22
Speaker 1: with the possible exception of Abraham Lincoln. Oh you got
• 41:27
Speaker 1: to be kidding. Yeah, Hold dog, is this dude for real?
• 41:37
  Speaker 1: He's never said he wasn't a racist either. He didn't
• 41:39
Speaker 1: say that either. I've done more for Black Americans than
• 41:43
Speaker 1: anyone except Abraham Lincoln, who freed the slaves. I guess
• 41:51
Speaker 1: that's what he's well, of course that's what he says.
• 41:54
Speaker 1: So he forgot about the moves that JF came. He
• 42:00
Speaker 1: forgot about what Lyndon Baine Johnson was doing on behalf
• 42:05
Speaker 1: of Marta Luther King. He forgot. But then he don't
• 42:09
Speaker 1: know his history. So and why why would you expect
• 42:12
Speaker 1: him to Mark, he never knew. No, he didn't, never knew,
• 42:16
Speaker 1: never cared. He did, he did, he did. He doesn't
• 42:18
Speaker 1: know history. You've done nothing for black Americans. Zero. I'm waiting,
• 42:25
Speaker 1: what did he do? Prison reform ain't for Black Americans.
• 42:29
Speaker 1: Prison reform was for your political advancement. You didn't do
• 42:33
Speaker 1: that for pardoning. You got to be kidding me, man,
• 42:39
Speaker 1: that that ain't what you did. And those pardons started
• 42:44
Speaker 1: when Obama was leaving and he started releasing people with
• 42:49
Speaker 1: with a super trumped up charges for drug related cases.
• 42:53
Speaker 1: That started with Obama. Dog this, dude right here, I've
• 42:57
Speaker 1: done more for Black America. You ain't done. I can't
• 43:00
Speaker 1: think of any Well, anything he's done was for political purposes.
• 43:05
Speaker 1: It was not for black people. Well in his mind,
• 43:12
Speaker 1: he thinks that he's done a lot for black people
• 43:15
Speaker 1: like that, and that's when you say, in his man,
• 43:19
Speaker 1: it's a lot in now that you First of all,
• 43:25
Speaker 1: first of all, let's tell the truth the thing that
• 43:29
Speaker 1: you've done for black people. Let's talk about prisoner form.
• 43:32
Speaker 1: You're talking about just prisoners. You all still are not
• 43:35
Speaker 1: clear on people with records whether they can vote. So
• 43:40
Speaker 1: you didn't give a damn if they got out or not.
• 43:43
Speaker 1: Half of them can't vote, and you have these laws
• 43:46
Speaker 1: in place that prevented them, that prevent them from voting
• 43:49
Speaker 1: for a period of time, and it's not clear of
• 43:51
Speaker 1: how they get their records are set up so they
• 43:54
Speaker 1: can vote. So you all already the Republicans know this
• 43:58
Speaker 1: game right here, you know, get place to vote. Since
• 44:02
Speaker 1: you've been in office than any president saying we should.
• 44:04
Speaker 1: I mean, suppression is rampant because of you. Yeah, we've
• 44:08
Speaker 1: said that, you know recently on the show, we talk
• 44:11
Speaker 1: about that absolutely, Jack, I guess you're resending Obamacare. Trying
• 44:16
Speaker 1: to resend Obama. I guess that was for black people
• 44:20
Speaker 1: during a pandemic, during the public health crisis. Try to
• 44:23
Speaker 1: say health's here, solved this whole thing. Go down any Martin,
• 44:27
Speaker 1: Luther King and walk in black people out and see
• 44:29
Speaker 1: how they feel you walk into how much you've done
• 44:34
Speaker 1: for black people. Well, we want we want you guys
• 44:39
Speaker 1: to give this. We want you guys to register to vote. Okay,
• 44:43
Speaker 1: go to when we all vote dot org. And coming
• 44:47
Speaker 1: up next, the Nephew is here with today's prank phone call.
• 44:51
Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to show coming up at
• 44:56
Speaker 1: the top, of the hour. Right about four minutes after,
• 44:58
  Speaker 1: it's today's Strawberry Better the subject I have a rat
• 45:04
Speaker 1: in the basement. Check out my letter today. Okay, subject
• 45:09

• 45:14
Speaker 1: got for his nap? Go big, oh go home? Let
• 45:22
Speaker 1: me say that one more time. Go bg oh, go
• 45:32
Speaker 1: go big or go home. Let's go cat dog. Here
• 45:37
Speaker 1: it is, y'all. Take a listen. Hello, Hello, I'm trying
• 45:40
Speaker 1: to reach Darnel, Darnell. Let's see this, Darnell. How you doing?
• 45:44
Speaker 1: This is Scott with Bigger, Bigger and Better, where we
• 45:48
Speaker 1: make you larger in charge. How are you doing today? Scott? Who?
• 45:52
Speaker 1: I'm Scott and I'm with Bigger and Better where we
• 45:56
Speaker 1: make you larger in charge. I'm good, Scott. What's up?
• 46:00
Speaker 1: We were actually, uh given a phone call by your
• 46:03
Speaker 1: wife your wife is is that correct? Yeah? Okay, well,
• 46:08
Speaker 1: um you know your wife's um Your wife's birthday is
• 46:11
Speaker 1: coming up pretty soon, is that right? Yeah? Yeah, so
• 46:14
Speaker 1: a couple of weeks. Yeah, it's coming up. Okay. Have
• 46:17
Speaker 1: you have you decided on getting or anything or have
• 46:20
Speaker 1: you purchased anything yet. No, No, I got a couple
• 46:23
Speaker 1: of days in mind. Um well, actually, uh we got
• 46:26
Speaker 1: a call from from I think, Um, we've got something
• 46:30
Speaker 1: that's gonna that's gonna really help you guys. And and
• 46:35
Speaker 1: something I think that she wanted to recommend that something
• 46:38
Speaker 1: that you probably wouldn't wouldn't think about getting. All right,
• 46:41
Speaker 1: I'm all is okay and racking my brain. So I'm
• 46:44
Speaker 1: on is actually gave us a call. She's actually had
• 46:48
Speaker 1: an idea, you know, what she would really really like

• 47:08
Speaker 1: little different than something that you probably would never in
• 47:10
Speaker 1: a million years think of. But here at Bigger and Better,
• 47:13
Speaker 1: where we make you large and in charge, we actually
• 47:16
Speaker 1: do some things that we definitely know you wouldn't have
• 47:19
Speaker 1: thought of. So I definitely understand her. Given what's your
• 47:23
Speaker 1: name against Sam Scott, Scott Scott, get to the point
• 47:27
Speaker 1: what you're selling. Actually, let us know that there's some
• 47:31
Speaker 1: things that are really really lacking between you guys, and
• 47:36
Speaker 1: she would very much like for her birthday where you
• 47:39
Speaker 1: can be a lot more well endowed. So you know
• 47:42
Speaker 1: that's what we do here at Bigger and Beat. We
• 47:45
Speaker 1: actually hello, what I could be more? What? More? Well
• 47:49

Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm a forty eight year old man
• 54:38
Speaker 1: and my wife and I have a twenty three year
• 54:40
Speaker 1: old daughter that graduated from college and she moved back home.
• 54:44
Speaker 1: She asked her room, She asked her mom and I
• 54:48
Speaker 1: if her schoolmates could live in our basement for three months.
• 54:52
Speaker 1: I was hesitant, but my wife coo co erged me
• 54:55
Speaker 1: to let the young man stay temporarily. He was polite
• 54:59
Speaker 1: at first, but then he started coming upstairs and trying
• 55:02
Speaker 1: to engage with our family. We have a microwave and
• 55:05
Speaker 1: a small fridge in the basement, a full bathroom, a
• 55:08
Speaker 1: forty two inch TV, and an entrance from the backyard,
• 55:12
Speaker 1: so he should never be upstairs in my house. I
• 55:16
Speaker 1: went down to talk to him man to man and
• 55:18
Speaker 1: see what his plan was to move out. This boy
• 55:21
Speaker 1: had the audacity to ask me if I could knock
• 55:24
Speaker 1: before entering. Next time, I was stern and told him
• 55:29
Speaker 1: it's my house and I would never knock on any
• 55:32
Speaker 1: door I paid for in my house. I had hoped
• 55:35
Speaker 1: he got the point, but apparently he didn't. The next night,
• 55:39
Speaker 1: it was around midnight and I heard loud music in
• 55:42
Speaker 1: the basement, so I went to tell him to turn
• 55:44
Speaker 1: it down. I walked in and what I saw made
• 55:48
Speaker 1: my eyes burn, and I thought I was going to
• 55:51
Speaker 1: pass out. This boy was having sex with my daughter.
• 55:58
Speaker 1: It was so loud in there. I had to yell
• 56:01
Speaker 1: to get them to notice me. I lunged at him,
• 56:04
Speaker 1: but my daughter jumped between us, totally nude, so I
• 56:09
Speaker 1: ran out in sheer panic and discussed. My wife was
• 56:14
Speaker 1: upset at my daughter for having sex in our home,
• 56:16
Speaker 1: but she kept telling me that she's a grown woman now.
• 56:19
Speaker 1: A few days later, my daughter told me that she
• 56:22
Speaker 1: and the boy have been dating for a year, and
• 56:24
Speaker 1: she kept it a secret so I would let him
• 56:27
Speaker 1: stay with us. I forgave her, but I want to
• 56:31
Speaker 1: put this boy out of my house. How can I
• 56:33
Speaker 1: get him away from my daughter without her suspecting anything. Whoo,
• 56:42
Speaker 1: I have to think that what's worse the what's worse
• 56:49
Speaker 1: than seeing your parents doing it? This is so crazy
• 56:52
Speaker 1: I could barely get it out. It's for your parents
• 56:55
Speaker 1: to see their kids doing it. I have to think
• 56:57
Speaker 1: that's worse. I have to who I mean, both of
• 57:02
Speaker 1: them are bad, but oh yeah, that's something I just
• 57:06
Speaker 1: don't want to see. But um, what is going on
• 57:09
Speaker 1: in your house? I mean, as the dad and man
• 57:13
Speaker 1: of the house, I would say you've been doing the
• 57:15
Speaker 1: right thing because of your daughter, because she asked you,
• 57:18
Speaker 1: and you and your wife was you know, in there
• 57:21
Speaker 1: on her side as well. I think you know you've
• 57:24
Speaker 1: had him living in your home. You've provided him with
• 57:27
Speaker 1: all the necessities in life, including a forty forty two
• 57:30
Speaker 1: inch TV, a microwave, a fridge, a full bathroom, all
• 57:35
Speaker 1: of that his own entrance. I just say, how ungrateful
• 57:38
Speaker 1: and disrespectful of him to ask you to knock when
• 57:42
Speaker 1: you come down there, And how sneaky and deceitful of
• 57:47
Speaker 1: your daughter. I mean, she should have told you, She
• 57:50
Speaker 1: really should have told you, but I guess she didn't
• 57:53
Speaker 1: know how Like she said, I know, this is your
• 57:56
Speaker 1: baby girl, and everything but she created this, this situation this,
• 58:00
Speaker 1: I mean, so your problem is really with her. Your wife,
• 58:03
Speaker 1: who wanted to let him stay there at first, sees
• 58:06
Speaker 1: it too. Now she's upset with your daughter as well.
• 58:08
Speaker 1: And she's right. Yeah, your daughter at twenty three is
• 58:11
Speaker 1: a grown woman. But if you don't want her having
• 58:14
Speaker 1: sex in your house, that's your business. You have every
• 58:17
Speaker 1: right to feel that way. I mean, if she's that grown,
• 58:20
Speaker 1: seems like she would have her own place and then
• 58:22
Speaker 1: she could have sex as many times as she want
• 58:24
Speaker 1: with whomever. But the problem, I think the problems are
• 58:28
Speaker 1: gonna come when you try, as you say, to get
• 58:31
Speaker 1: him away from your daughter. That's the problems are gonna
• 58:36
Speaker 1: definitely come then, because the more you try to push
• 58:38
Speaker 1: him away, the more your daughter is going to want
• 58:41
Speaker 1: to cling to him. That's always how it works. I think,
• 58:44
Speaker 1: you know, maybe you should try, you want to know
• 58:46
Speaker 1: how you can do it. Maybe you should try having
• 58:48
Speaker 1: a family meeting with you, your wife, your daughter, and
• 58:51
Speaker 1: the boyfriend. I don't know, talk about moving forward, talk
• 58:55
Speaker 1: about the new living arrangements. You know, if your daughter
• 58:58
Speaker 1: wants to do this, clearly she's probably gonna have to
• 59:01
Speaker 1: get out and move. They're gonna have to get something together.
• 59:04
Speaker 1: You said you forgave your daughter, You're gonna probably, you know,
• 59:07
Speaker 1: I don't know have to forgive this guy too, for
• 59:10
Speaker 1: since they're dating and going together for a year. I
• 59:13
Speaker 1: just say again, please don't talk against this guy, because
• 59:16
Speaker 1: that's gonna drive your daughter closer to him and farther
• 59:19
Speaker 1: away from you. And I'm sure you don't want that.
• 59:22
Speaker 1: This is a mess, and good luck is all I
• 59:26
  Speaker 1: can say, Steve. I don't give a damn if I'm
• 59:30
Speaker 1: talking against him and it's gonna drive you closer. You
• 59:33
Speaker 1: fitn't get tucked up under this ass then, Carson, when
• 59:36
Speaker 1: I see it going down funky, I'm gonna tell you
• 59:39
Speaker 1: about it. Now you're grown. You can do what you
• 59:41
Speaker 1: want to do, like you say, but this letter right here. Look,
• 59:45
Speaker 1: first of all, i'm a man. You're forty eight years old.
• 59:48
Speaker 1: You're twenty three year old. Daughter graduate from college, she
• 59:51
Speaker 1: moved back home. She asked if one of her schoolmates
• 59:54
Speaker 1: could live in our basement for three months. But I
• 59:57
Speaker 1: was hesitating, but my wife coerced me to let young
• 1:00:00
Speaker 1: man stay temporarily. Why why this ain't your boy here?
• 1:00:06
Speaker 1: Grown ass man? They then graduated from college here twenty
• 1:00:11
Speaker 1: three you're coming to my house. Live where your mamma
• 1:00:13
Speaker 1: Neil man your ass over to day house. No, man,
• 1:00:19
Speaker 1: you're not coming to live in my house. Dog, I'm
• 1:00:22
Speaker 1: telling you, and my wife ain't talking me into that either.
• 1:00:26
Speaker 1: Stay in the basement for three months, Stay at your
• 1:00:29
Speaker 1: mama house for three months, give one of your partner's house.
• 1:00:33
Speaker 1: You're not coming in here. That's for starters when we
• 1:00:36
Speaker 1: come back. All the rest of it going down, All right,
• 1:00:40
Speaker 1: you heard him. Part two of Steve's response is coming
• 1:00:43
Speaker 1: up at twenty three minutes after the hour. Subject of
• 1:00:46
  Speaker 1: today's letter, I have a rat in the basement. We'll
• 1:00:49
Speaker 1: get back into it right after this. You're listening morning show.
• 1:00:55
Speaker 1: All right, Steve, come on, let's recap today's Strawberry Letters,
• 1:00:58
Speaker 1: subject I have a rat in the base smatch. This
• 1:01:01
Speaker 1: man and wife got a twenty three year old daughter
• 1:01:03
Speaker 1: to graduated from college. She asked him could one of
• 1:01:05
Speaker 1: her schoolmates live in the basement for three months? He
• 1:01:09
Speaker 1: was hesitant. Your wife core used you, so you let
• 1:01:11
Speaker 1: the man stay. I disagree with that. He wouldn't stay
• 1:01:14
Speaker 1: in my house for three months. I don't give a
• 1:01:16
Speaker 1: damn once wrong, but you know things happened, so maybe
• 1:01:18
Speaker 1: he felt that way. So I ain't mad at you
• 1:01:20
Speaker 1: for that, all right. He was polite at first, then
• 1:01:22
Speaker 1: he started coming upstairs trying to engage without family. Well,
• 1:01:25
Speaker 1: the reason he was coming upstairs trying to engage with
• 1:01:28
Speaker 1: your family because he is engaging with your family. He
• 1:01:33
Speaker 1: already engaged with your family. We got a microwave, small
• 1:01:36
Speaker 1: for you to the basement, full bathroom for the two
• 1:01:39
Speaker 1: inch TV, and entrance from the backyard. So he shouldn't
• 1:01:42
Speaker 1: be upstairs in your house. These are your rules. It's
• 1:01:45
Speaker 1: your house. You absolutely correct. I went down to talk
• 1:01:48
Speaker 1: to a man to man see what his plan was
• 1:01:50
Speaker 1: and move out. This boy had to dacity and ask
• 1:01:52
Speaker 1: me if I could knock before entering next time. You know,
• 1:01:57
Speaker 1: you know, and you know, and I'm old school, will
• 1:02:00
Speaker 1: I'll admit right, you don't ask me a damn thing
• 1:02:04
Speaker 1: in my house. You can't ask me nothing. Nobody to
• 1:02:07
Speaker 1: this day. I don't care if your work a delivery man.
• 1:02:10
Speaker 1: I don't care if you the police. If you come
• 1:02:12
Speaker 1: to my house, this is my house. Unless you have
• 1:02:16
Speaker 1: a ward for my arrest, you're gonna get talked too crazy.
• 1:02:23
Speaker 1: Knock before I come downstairs. I was stunned and told
• 1:02:26
Speaker 1: him in my house, I'll never knock on any door.
• 1:02:29
Speaker 1: I paid house. Well, you should have knocked the next time,
• 1:02:31
Speaker 1: because Lord him listened. But I had hoped he got
• 1:02:35
Speaker 1: the point, but apparently he didn't. Next night is around midnight.
• 1:02:39
Speaker 1: I heard some loud music in the basement, so I
• 1:02:42
Speaker 1: went down there to tell him to turn it down.
• 1:02:44
Speaker 1: I walk in and what I saw made my eyes burned.
• 1:02:48
Speaker 1: I thought I was gonna pass out. This boy was
• 1:02:51
Speaker 1: having sex you my daughter. God, that's got worse. All
• 1:02:56
Speaker 1: of us got daughters on this show. I know they're
• 1:03:00
Speaker 1: doing things. I don't want to see it. No ever,
• 1:03:07
Speaker 1: this boy having sex with my daughter. It was so
• 1:03:10
Speaker 1: loud in there. I had to yell to get them
• 1:03:13
Speaker 1: to notice me. Hey, same man, wow, n sy Eric,
• 1:03:22
Speaker 1: damn it ni su Eric. I lunged at him, but
• 1:03:26
Speaker 1: my daughter jumped in between us. Totally new. Oh god,
• 1:03:31
Speaker 1: I do so I ran out of sheer panic and discuss.
• 1:03:34
Speaker 1: My wife was upset with my daughter for having sex
• 1:03:37
Speaker 1: in our home, but she kept telling me that she's
• 1:03:40
Speaker 1: a grown woman. Now, well, if you're a grown woman,
• 1:03:42
Speaker 1: didn't get the act and grown see what see? You know? Man,
• 1:03:46
Speaker 1: I hate when my kids tell me, but daddy, I'm grown, Okay,
• 1:03:49
Speaker 1: be grown? Then what you're over here asking me for
• 1:03:51
Speaker 1: something fault? Then when I try to talk to you
• 1:03:55
Speaker 1: about it? Then you want to throw up in my face.
• 1:03:57
Speaker 1: I'm grown. If your ass has grown, I'm somewhere and
• 1:04:00
Speaker 1: get grown. What you're over here talking to me for?
• 1:04:03
Speaker 1: If you've grown, why is his punk ass in the basement?
• 1:04:08
Speaker 1: If he grown? If you grown, why is you up
• 1:04:12
Speaker 1: stands in the house? See, grown people got their own house.
• 1:04:16
Speaker 1: Grown people make their own rules at their house. Grown
• 1:04:19
Speaker 1: people got their own money. Grown people take care of
• 1:04:22
Speaker 1: their selves. That's what grown people do. I got it's
• 1:04:27
Speaker 1: five grown people on this show. Am I telling a lot?
• 1:04:31
Speaker 1: Not at all, sir? So you know when you're gonna
• 1:04:35
Speaker 1: keep running your mouth talking about you a grown woman? Now.
• 1:04:37
Speaker 1: A few days later, my daughter told me that she
• 1:04:40
Speaker 1: and the boy have been dating for a year and
• 1:04:42
Speaker 1: she kept with a secret. So I let him stay
• 1:04:44
Speaker 1: with us. I forgave her, But I do want to
• 1:04:47
Speaker 1: put this boy out of my house. How could I
• 1:04:49
Speaker 1: get him away from my daughter without her suspecting anything?
• 1:04:52
Speaker 1: That's impossible. But see, you ain't got to let her
• 1:04:57
Speaker 1: expect anything, put his ass ass out. He got to
• 1:05:01
Speaker 1: get out your house because he in your house doing
• 1:05:06
Speaker 1: stuff like he the man of the house. He having
• 1:05:09
Speaker 1: sex in your house. He telling you you got to
• 1:05:11
Speaker 1: knock on doors in the house. He playing loud music
• 1:05:15
Speaker 1: in the house, screwing your daughter in the house, just
• 1:05:18
Speaker 1: like he he a grown ass man. You gotta call
• 1:05:21
Speaker 1: your grown ass man somewhere else. Part and she can
• 1:05:24
Speaker 1: hear me say it. But you've got to get out
• 1:05:27
Speaker 1: of here, because it's one king in this castle, not
• 1:05:30
Speaker 1: too And I'm the king from the rooftop to the
• 1:05:33
Speaker 1: basement and foundation. I'm the king at my house. Ain't
• 1:05:38
Speaker 1: no other kings. You got to go, and your daughter
• 1:05:42
Speaker 1: shouldn't know that you have the right to set your
• 1:05:45
Speaker 1: rules as a man. You ain't gotta hey, man, you
• 1:05:48
Speaker 1: ain't gotta feel bad for her. And all this foolishness
• 1:05:51
Speaker 1: they're talking about. It's gonna make her run to him.
• 1:05:53
Speaker 1: They having sex already. How much closer she got to run,
• 1:05:57
Speaker 1: she'd run a slid up under mattered her dad. Though.

• 1:11:10
Speaker 1: no man. But he looked good though. Yeah, I mean
• 1:11:12
Speaker 1: I can to getting the ring. We won't sports timing.
• 1:11:15
Speaker 1: We don't care what weight players things. We just knew
• 1:11:19
Speaker 1: they asked to get in there and start swinging. That's
• 1:11:21
Speaker 1: all we need, you know, Mike Tyson the fifty four
• 1:11:24
Speaker 1: and Roy Jones and fifty one, and Mike had I
• 1:11:28
Speaker 1: wouldn't say it again. Yeah, Mike Tyson fifty four and
• 1:11:30
Speaker 1: Roy Jones Junior fifty one years old? So yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
• 1:11:35
Speaker 1: you know the nursing. How old you think I thought
• 1:11:39
Speaker 1: Roy was? I didn't know it was that old. I
• 1:11:42
Speaker 1: don't know. I thought I thought Roy was the oldest.
• 1:11:47
Speaker 1: I really did. I would think Roy was the oldest.
• 1:11:50
Speaker 1: I just won't see Mike man at the way in.
• 1:11:52
Speaker 1: I missed Mike Tyson at the way in. Man, Mike
• 1:11:54
Speaker 1: be talking all that trash. I eat your heart out, Mike,
• 1:12:00
Speaker 1: ask you something, Let me have something. When it's an
• 1:12:02
Speaker 1: exhibition or they trying to actually knock each other out.
• 1:12:05
Speaker 1: I don't know who we I know, Mike kids, Mike
• 1:12:07
Speaker 1: don't know. I'm gonna tell you something, man, Tommy, there's
• 1:12:12
Speaker 1: no sense thing in soft boxing because in order for
• 1:12:17
Speaker 1: the punch, you got to throw the speed put the
• 1:12:20
Speaker 1: punch to get there. There's no soft boxing now unless
• 1:12:23
Speaker 1: they're gonna wear helmets. But I don't think they are. Man,
• 1:12:27
Speaker 1: if it's pay per view, I think they're gonna bang.
• 1:12:29
Speaker 1: They don't have to because I'm putting my money. I
• 1:12:31
Speaker 1: bought mine already on. So I'm waiting on the fight.
• 1:12:35
Speaker 1: You bought it already, you bought the game about the fight. Yeah,
• 1:12:40
Speaker 1: I'm waiting on it. Roy Jones Junior nice, do you
• 1:12:44
Speaker 1: hear me? Yeah? Right now? When he was fighting, he
• 1:12:49
Speaker 1: was nice, he was nice like Tyson was nice. Yeah.
• 1:12:52
Speaker 1: But Tyson had a different punch though. And I think
• 1:12:57
Speaker 1: at this stage of their life, this is gonna be
• 1:13:00
Speaker 1: a slow fight. Now, this ain't gonna be what you
• 1:13:02
Speaker 1: used to see it. Round photo, the bad ass is
• 1:13:06
Speaker 1: gonna be breathing real dog dog round fo. You ain't
• 1:13:12
Speaker 1: gonna believe this. I mean, you got two fifty year
• 1:13:17
Speaker 1: old dudes and they in that ring and they swing
• 1:13:21
Speaker 1: it at each other. That's a hard sport man crazy.
• 1:13:25
Speaker 1: I'm actually I'm actually a really tired after the fight.
• 1:13:30
Speaker 1: We don't need to hear from nobody because we won't
• 1:13:32
Speaker 1: be able to understand nobody. All my damn money on
• 1:13:36
Speaker 1: Mike come back to my corner. But because I because
• 1:13:44
Speaker 1: if he hits me, my money on Mike. Yeah, I'm
• 1:13:46
Speaker 1: with because if he hit you, yes, he gonna hurt you.
• 1:13:49
Speaker 1: Mike still mad about who ever put that on his face?
• 1:13:51
Speaker 1: So he got that, he made that, he did that.
• 1:13:57
Speaker 1: He'll ever been to a Mike type of fight? I know,
• 1:14:00
Speaker 1: I've never go dog. Have I ever been to Mike? Now? Yeah?
• 1:14:05
Speaker 1: Which fight you went to? Dog? I was at the
• 1:14:08
Speaker 1: holy Field fights. You was that when he bait his ere? Yeah?
• 1:14:13
Speaker 1: Right in front of Bone Thugs in Harmony A cross
• 1:14:18
Speaker 1: rolls first of the month. I was the only one
• 1:14:25
Speaker 1: in that whole section pulling for holy Field. Oh man
• 1:14:29
Speaker 1: really oh Salton Pepper was there, Bone and Harmony was
• 1:14:35
Speaker 1: right behind. I was the only one pulling for hold
• 1:14:36
Speaker 1: of I knew Holy we gotta get coming up. More
• 1:14:42
Speaker 1: music and some trending topics and some headlines of twenty
• 1:14:45
Speaker 1: nine minute twenty minutes after the hour. Right after this,
• 1:14:48
Speaker 1: you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Junior, we're
• 1:14:54

• 1:15:00
Speaker 1: about to tell that this is nice. Man. You know,
• 1:15:02
Speaker 1: baseball started yesterday. You know, baseball's back. And a really
• 1:15:06
Speaker 1: nice sight to see. Man, that the Nationals and the
• 1:15:08
Speaker 1: Yankees they played and everybody knelt. Everybody took a knee,
• 1:15:13
Speaker 1: including the coach. Oh that was having a fit today.
• 1:15:19
Speaker 1: He's having a fit yet. I don't know, but doctor fout,
• 1:15:26
Speaker 1: you threw out the first pitch. Let's just say stick
• 1:15:30
Speaker 1: to medicine. Yeah, just don't and just help us with
• 1:15:32
Speaker 1: this pandemic. Baseball down. We don't have time. Didn't make
• 1:15:39
Speaker 1: it to the plate. Also, d MV will let y'all
• 1:15:41
Speaker 1: know that they're the Redskins are no more the team
• 1:15:44
Speaker 1: formerly known as the Washington Redskins. They've temporarily changed their name.
• 1:15:48
Speaker 1: Do we need a drum roll for this? This is big.
• 1:15:55
Speaker 1: They changed their name to the Washington football team. That's
• 1:16:01
Speaker 1: all they got. They like they liked the artists formally
• 1:16:06
Speaker 1: known as Print. Yeah, man, damn kaby Man. We're just
• 1:16:11
Speaker 1: a football team. Let's go football team and the chiff
• 1:16:17
Speaker 1: in right now, the football team. That's my football team.
• 1:16:26
Speaker 1: Thank you for sports talk, Junior. Thanks more of the
• 1:16:29
Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning shown some trending news coming up at
• 1:16:31
Speaker 1: thirty three minutes. Watched the football team after the hour.
• 1:16:35
Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well.
• 1:16:40
Speaker 1: During a virtual town hall meeting with former Vice President
• 1:16:44
Speaker 1: Joe Biden hosted by the Service Employee Industry Union, an
• 1:16:48
Speaker 1: Asian healthcare worker who immigrated from South Korea said she
• 1:16:52
Speaker 1: had been racially profiled by white Americans at the supermarket.
• 1:16:56
Speaker 1: Joe Biden said he was so angry to hear about
• 1:16:59
Speaker 1: her experiences, and he referred to Donald Trump, calling COVID
• 1:17:02
Speaker 1: nineteen the China virus. Mister Biden went on to say
• 1:17:06
Speaker 1: that Donald Trump is the first racist to win the presidency.
• 1:17:10
Speaker 1: Take a listen. No sitting president has ever done this, never, never, never,
• 1:17:16
Speaker 1: No Republican president has done this, No Democratic president. We've
• 1:17:20
Speaker 1: have racists, and they've existed, they've tried to get elected president.
• 1:17:23
Speaker 1: He's the first one that had whoa Biden is to
• 1:17:31
Speaker 1: do because he from Boston. He gonna bring it. He
• 1:17:36
Speaker 1: played his game with you man. Yeah, well okay. So
• 1:17:39
Speaker 1: so Donald Trump responded to Biden's labeling him as a
• 1:17:43
Speaker 1: first racist president. Take a listen, and maybe most importantly
• 1:17:46
Speaker 1: or you look at criminal justice reform, you look at
• 1:17:49
Speaker 1: prison reform. I've done things that nobody else And I've
• 1:17:53
Speaker 1: said this, and I say it openly, and not a
• 1:17:54
Speaker 1: lot of people dispute it. I've done more for Black
• 1:17:58
Speaker 1: Americans than anybody, with the possible exception of Abraham Lincoln.
• 1:18:04
Speaker 1: Oh you got to be kidding ye, hold of dog?
• 1:18:10
Speaker 1: Is this dude for real? He never said he wasn't
• 1:18:15
Speaker 1: a racist either. He didn't say that either. I've done
• 1:18:18
Speaker 1: more for Black Americans than anyone except Abrahm Lincoln, who
• 1:18:26
  Speaker 1: freed I guess that's what he's well, of course that's
• 1:18:30
Speaker 1: what he said. So he forgot about the moves that
• 1:18:36
Speaker 1: JFK made. He forgot about what Lyndon Baine Johnson was
• 1:18:40
Speaker 1: doing on behalf of Martin Luther King. He forgot. But
• 1:18:46
Speaker 1: then he don't know his history. So and why why
• 1:18:49
Speaker 1: would you expect him to marry He never knew, No,
• 1:18:52
Speaker 1: he didn't never knew, never care he did. He did
• 1:18:55
Speaker 1: he did. He doesn't know history. You've done nothing for
• 1:18:59
Speaker 1: black Americans. Zero, I'm waiting, what did he do? Prison
• 1:19:03
Speaker 1: reform ain't for Black Americans. Prison reform was for your
• 1:19:07
Speaker 1: political advancement. You didn't do that for pardoning. You got
• 1:19:13
Speaker 1: to be kidding me, man, that that ain't what you did.
• 1:19:16
Speaker 1: And those pardons started when Obama was leaving and he
• 1:19:23
Speaker 1: started releasing people with with a super trumped up charges
• 1:19:27
Speaker 1: for drug related cases. That started with Obama. Dog. Just dude,
• 1:19:32
Speaker 1: right here, I've done more for Black America. You ain't done.
• 1:19:35
Speaker 1: I can't think of any non violent offenses. But anything
• 1:19:39
Speaker 1: he's done was for political purposes. It was not for
• 1:19:42
Speaker 1: black people. Coming up, it's our last break of the day.
• 1:19:46
Speaker 1: I'm not having com me to day talk through the
• 1:19:48
Speaker 1: screen down here. What does it take all of this
• 1:19:55
Speaker 1: our last break of the day coming up, and some
• 1:19:57
Speaker 1: closing remarks from the one and only Steve Harvey and
• 1:20:01
Speaker 1: forty nine minutes after right after you're listening Steve Harvey
• 1:20:06
Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right here we are our last break
• 1:20:09
Speaker 1: of the day on this Friday, our last break of
• 1:20:11
Speaker 1: the week. It's been a good day, good week. Yeah, yes, ma'am.
• 1:20:18
Speaker 1: You know just do the show tomorrow. Can we coming
• 1:20:20
Speaker 1: in and do the show tomorrow? Just have come Steve Saturday.
• 1:20:24
Speaker 1: Do it? Everybody coming in here on Saturday on this
• 1:20:29
Speaker 1: same station. To make sure you listen to myself. Man,
• 1:20:34
Speaker 1: you're gonna put your junior junior because you ain't got nobody.
• 1:20:38
Speaker 1: That ain't our fault. See here, you know here I go.
• 1:20:43
Speaker 1: Hell you the one did it? You could have been
• 1:20:46
Speaker 1: had somebody. You don't want nobody. Remember I liked by myself.
• 1:20:50
Speaker 1: Remember that I lied. I want somebody and women. Yeah,
• 1:20:56
Speaker 1: if the girl crossed the hall, still dating somebody. Yeah,
• 1:20:59
Speaker 1: I've seen to the other daytime and they had the
• 1:21:03
Speaker 1: real boot up. You don't want to talk about looking
• 1:21:07
Speaker 1: at me. Hey, y'all, Uh you know what? Um I
• 1:21:16
Speaker 1: noticed something. I want us to be careful and be
• 1:21:19
Speaker 1: very very aware of. Joe Biden took a swipe at
• 1:21:25
Speaker 1: Donald Trump and he said that the first racist president
• 1:21:32
Speaker 1: we've had in office, Republican or Democrat. And then I
• 1:21:39
Speaker 1: kind of watch everybody get upset with him saying that
• 1:21:42
Speaker 1: because there's been others. Y'all listen to me. We're in
• 1:21:50
Speaker 1: a fight. I don't know if you understand, but fights
• 1:21:54
  Speaker 1: ain't fair I have never been I'm talking about a
• 1:21:58
Speaker 1: real fighter, street fight. I've never been in a real
• 1:22:01
Speaker 1: fight that was fair. I've never participated in one. One
• 1:22:07
Speaker 1: of us broke the rules doing the fight. You know why,
• 1:22:10
Speaker 1: because there are no rules in the fight. We have
• 1:22:12
Speaker 1: a person in the White House right now who relentlessly
• 1:22:17
Speaker 1: lies to us time and time and time again with
• 1:22:21
Speaker 1: no remorse. Who are misquote statistics. He just blatantly lies
• 1:22:30
Speaker 1: about everything. He's all about himself. He's immature, childish, and
• 1:22:41
Speaker 1: the candidate that's going up against him, it's going up
• 1:22:45
Speaker 1: against a person that's gonna make debating and gonna make
• 1:22:49
Speaker 1: campaigning quite different than what it's been in the past.
• 1:22:55
Speaker 1: And you gotta match up with some of this stuff
• 1:22:57
Speaker 1: right here. If you think Joe lied by saying he's
• 1:23:01
Speaker 1: the first racist president, well let's look at it this way.
• 1:23:09
Speaker 1: He's gotta be probably the first openly one who does
• 1:23:14
Speaker 1: enough repeated stuff to make you actually have to go wild.
• 1:23:19
Speaker 1: This guy's bigger than in racist. He just does it
• 1:23:22
Speaker 1: time and time again, you know. And then his rebuttal
• 1:23:26
Speaker 1: to Joe Biden was something like, I've done more for
• 1:23:31
Speaker 1: black people than any other president, with the exception of
• 1:23:35
Speaker 1: Abraham Lincoln. Who does he keep telling this too? And
• 1:23:42
Speaker 1: what black people he talking about? He's done more for
• 1:23:46
Speaker 1: black people? Who? What has he done for black people? What? Man?
• 1:23:52
Speaker 1: Stop letting people tell us stuff that they've done for
• 1:23:56
Speaker 1: us and ain't nothing. I felt nothing. I'm black, like, okay, okay,
• 1:24:02
  Speaker 1: let's just talk about me. I'm black and I didn't
• 1:24:06
Speaker 1: vote for him, But for four years I've watched him
• 1:24:09
Speaker 1: and I can't tell you anything he's done for black people.
• 1:24:14
Speaker 1: This prison reformed build that he wants to run down
• 1:24:16
Speaker 1: our throats. He did that for political reasons. That wasn't
• 1:24:20
Speaker 1: for black people. White people got out of prison too.
• 1:24:24
Speaker 1: It was a look. He went up there because Kim
• 1:24:28
Speaker 1: Kardashian went up there, Van Jones went up there, and
• 1:24:31
Speaker 1: a few other key people and and and it gave
• 1:24:34
Speaker 1: him a chance to look a certain way. Donald Trump
• 1:24:39
Speaker 1: does not care about people in general. He's just not
• 1:24:44
Speaker 1: a very caring man period. I mean all of his policies.
• 1:24:49
Speaker 1: When he took those children from their mothers down at
• 1:24:53
Speaker 1: the border and separated them and didn't have a tracking
• 1:24:57
Speaker 1: system in place to put them back together. Take some
• 1:25:00
Speaker 1: little child from their mother, Who does that? Who has
• 1:25:03
Speaker 1: a policy where we're gonna separate them at the border,
• 1:25:07
Speaker 1: and that have discouraged them for coming forward. That's not
• 1:25:09
Speaker 1: a very caring person who would erase doctor, not even
• 1:25:14
Speaker 1: give a person a chance for citizenship who's been here
• 1:25:18
Speaker 1: all of their lives? Who does that? Man who bans
• 1:25:21
Speaker 1: to travel from seven Muslim countries? Who does that to
• 1:25:26
Speaker 1: make a statement that if you're from this country and
• 1:25:28
  Speaker 1: you're a Muslim, you're not good for America. You're not
• 1:25:31
Speaker 1: welcome in America? Man, are you kidding me? He's done
• 1:25:36
Speaker 1: this time and time again. He calls people out their names.
• 1:25:39
Speaker 1: And then you don't sit up here and think he's
• 1:25:40
Speaker 1: done something for black people? When when? What? What does
• 1:25:47
Speaker 1: this foundation do? What? What black college has he gone
• 1:25:55
Speaker 1: to support it? Funded? Giving anything to what black organization
• 1:26:02
Speaker 1: that helps black children or young boys or young girls? What?
• 1:26:06
Speaker 1: What is he made a donation too before or since
• 1:26:09
Speaker 1: he's been president? I can't think of anything, man, I'm sorry.
• 1:26:14
Speaker 1: So when a person tells me that they've done more
• 1:26:17
Speaker 1: for me than anyone else, you better have your facts
• 1:26:20
Speaker 1: straight because you can't just lie to me. Tell me
• 1:26:22
Speaker 1: you've done something to me. That's like somebody saying his
• 1:26:26
Speaker 1: rain outside and you're standing there watching them pee on you,
• 1:26:30
Speaker 1: but they're telling you it's raining. Are you kidding me? Man?
• 1:26:34
Speaker 1: Y'all better get serious. Leave Biden along when you make
• 1:26:37
Speaker 1: these statements. Go with it because he fighting a dirty
• 1:26:40
Speaker 1: dude man, and you and you gotta fight the same way.
• 1:26:43
Speaker 1: I'm just saying, that's just the commentary of mind. I
• 1:26:49
Speaker 1: just tripped me right here, because this dude talking about
• 1:26:52
Speaker 1: he's telling more. For all Steve I re contests, no
