Willard 'low-risk' score in fraud assessment
Willard City received a low-risk rating in its annual fraud risk assessment, a state-required review of internal financial controls presented to the city council on June 25. Ryan Child of Child Richards CPAs & Advisors said the annual assessment evaluates the city’s policies, procedures and safeguards designed to prevent and detect fraud. He said the report is required to be presented to the council each year but does not require formal approval or other action.
