- 2:10Speaker 2: radio show. Got a radio show because God in the blessing. Business.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Got a radio show because God is in the forgiving business.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Got a radio show because God will let you turn
- 2:20Speaker 2: your life around. Business. Got a radio show because God
- 2:24Speaker 2: know better than you know. Yeah, Steve Harvey got a
- 2:28Speaker 2: radio show. Didn't see it coming, but he did. I'm
- 2:31Speaker 2: gonna share with you today a principle of success. You know,
- 2:37Speaker 2: it's it's important that we get our lives together. I
- 2:42Speaker 2: mean it really really is. You know, the hereafter is
- 2:44Speaker 2: exactly what it says is to hereafter, and hopefully for
- 2:49Speaker 2: the majority of us, that's quite a way He's off.
- 2:53Speaker 2: So what about how you living today? How about now?
- 2:58Speaker 2: You know often talk to you talk in the morning
- 3:01Speaker 2: about your relationship with God that can never change. That
- 3:04Speaker 2: is at the forefront and the best thought process that
- 3:10Speaker 2: I can give you. And I know who I'm talking
- 3:12Speaker 2: to on the radio. I'm talking to a lot of people, man,
- 3:17Speaker 2: who out there just not sure. And I'm talking to
- 3:19Speaker 2: a lot of people out there man that's trying to
- 3:22Speaker 2: pull it together. In other words, you know, I'm talking
- 3:26Speaker 2: to a lot of people like myself. There is a
- 3:30Speaker 2: principle of success that is out there that if more
- 3:32Speaker 2: people understood one of the base this is just one
- 3:35Speaker 2: of one of the basic principles of success, you would
- 3:38Speaker 2: have more success in your life. And that principle is this,
- 3:42Speaker 2: the more people you help become successful, the more successful
- 3:48Speaker 2: you become. Well, the more people you help become successful,
- 3:52Speaker 2: the more successful you become. Because you are practicing helping
- 3:58Speaker 2: your and as you do onto others, then it's done
- 4:01Speaker 2: unto you. You build relationships. When you do that, people
- 4:08Speaker 2: forget and success that has to be relationships. There is
- 4:12Speaker 2: no one person in this world who is just successful
- 4:15Speaker 2: all on their own. You are successful, and successful people
- 4:20Speaker 2: form relationships, and you've got to really coddle these relationships.
- 4:26Speaker 2: You've got to nurture these relationships. They don't just happen.
- 4:31Speaker 2: You don't just get cool with people just cause you cool. No,
- 4:35Speaker 2: you've got to do some cool things to these people
- 4:38Speaker 2: and for these people, for these people to be cool
- 4:41Speaker 2: with you when you need some cool. I don't know
- 4:43Speaker 2: if I'm explaining that right, but that's the best way
- 4:45Speaker 2: I can tell it to you. I'm just regular, you know.
- 4:48Speaker 2: I just speak like that. This is an important principle
- 4:53Speaker 2: to put into your life. The more people you help
- 4:56Speaker 2: become successful, the more successful you become. You can look.
- 5:01Speaker 2: You have to say to people, hey, look I've done that.
- 5:04Speaker 2: This is what you got to do. You got to
- 5:06Speaker 2: take some time out to share. You have to share information, experiences, thoughts.
- 5:12Speaker 2: You got to take a minute man to uplift somebody,
- 5:16Speaker 2: give them some encouragement. Hey man, you can do it.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Don't give up. You have no idea. You you you
- 5:25Speaker 2: right now. You have no idea how significant you are
- 5:30Speaker 2: to someone else, how your words of encouragement could be
- 5:34Speaker 2: the difference maker. Today I'm talking about it's a person
- 5:38Speaker 2: looking at you that you don't even really know you,
- 5:40Speaker 2: or you don't really know them, and you see them
- 5:42Speaker 2: struggling with something just say, hey, you know what I've
- 5:44Speaker 2: been watching you from afar. You gonna be all right, man,
- 5:47Speaker 2: I see some menu. Keep doing the right thing, man,
- 5:50Speaker 2: You're gonna be all right. I had a meeting with
- 5:54Speaker 2: a young man for the first time, and this young
- 5:57Speaker 2: man came into my office and never met him. He
- 6:01Speaker 2: has an internet service, which anybody can teach me something
- 6:05Speaker 2: about the internet, because I know little too close to nothing.
- 6:09Speaker 2: He was twenty seven years old, and he was amazingly
- 6:14Speaker 2: bright at this and I guess you know that it's
- 6:18Speaker 2: not that hard to impress me. But the fluid speech
- 6:23Speaker 2: pattern that he had about this very very difficult subject.
- 6:26Speaker 2: He was tossing around the terms I had heard, but
- 6:29Speaker 2: he was actually putting him in sentences where it made
- 6:31Speaker 2: since to me. It's very fluid, very sure of himself.
- 6:36Speaker 2: When he was talking about this little thing, a young
- 6:39Speaker 2: dude twenty seven years old. And when he got through,
- 6:43Speaker 2: the woman that had introduced me to him, I was
- 6:45Speaker 2: leaving my office and she was going to escort him out,
- 6:49Speaker 2: and I turned around and I said, young man, I said,
- 6:52Speaker 2: what size pants are you? And I guessed it because
- 6:56Speaker 2: I've been dressing for long. I've been all them sizes.
- 6:59Speaker 2: I said, you about a thirty ways? He said, yes, Sir.
- 7:02Speaker 2: I said, what side shoe you waist at nine and
- 7:04Speaker 2: a half? I said, what side shirt is at a medium?
- 7:08Speaker 2: He said, I really like extra large. I said, well
- 7:10Speaker 2: that's too big for you. You just want to look
- 7:13Speaker 2: blousey and baggy. And so I was talking to him.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Man I said, Man, I'm gonna help you out. I said, man,
- 7:20Speaker 2: because let me tell you something. You a sharp young dude. Man,
- 7:23Speaker 2: you are raisor sharp. I said, You've really really impressed
- 7:27Speaker 2: me today. I said, And you know what, young brother,
- 7:30Speaker 2: I said, You're gonna make a lot of money one day. Man,
- 7:33Speaker 2: I said, but I want you to get your image up.
- 7:36Speaker 2: I want you to. I want you to look at
- 7:37Speaker 2: how you dress because you're coming into professional people's office
- 7:41Speaker 2: and you're talking about doing something for them, and it
- 7:44Speaker 2: takes money to make it happen. I got to give
- 7:46Speaker 2: you money to make this happen. What you cannot afford
- 7:49Speaker 2: to do is look like you need every dime of
- 7:51Speaker 2: this money. See you get when you go in there
- 7:54Speaker 2: and you talking about money with another person. The person
- 7:58Speaker 2: that's gonna give you this money, can Kate look like
- 8:01Speaker 2: you need every dime of this money, you know, so
- 8:03Speaker 2: you gotta start presenting yourself. And that's all I just
- 8:07Speaker 2: said to him. I just said, man, but you know
- 8:08Speaker 2: what you shop, You're gonna make yourself some money. I'm
- 8:11Speaker 2: gonna help you out a little bit. I walked out.
- 8:13Speaker 2: I went on bout my business. Later on that afternoon,
- 8:16Speaker 2: I had a meeting with the woman that bought him
- 8:17Speaker 2: in and she said, mister Harvey, you have no idea
- 8:20Speaker 2: what you just did. He said, his eyes just teared
- 8:23Speaker 2: up when you walked out. He said, Wow, man, that
- 8:26Speaker 2: man don't even know me, and he just encouraged me.
- 8:30Speaker 2: He said, man, I always thought I might could make it,
- 8:32Speaker 2: but he said I ain't. Never had nobody like him
- 8:35Speaker 2: tell me I could make it. And just hearing it
- 8:38Speaker 2: from him, man, that's all right. I'm gonna get my
- 8:42Speaker 2: clothes together. But you know, I've been homeless. And then
- 8:46Speaker 2: he started telling the woman that he had been homeless,
- 8:49Speaker 2: and so, you know, then she telling me that now
- 8:51Speaker 2: I'm fit to cry, because you know, I've been in
- 8:53Speaker 2: that hole before. And I just and I'm just sharing
- 8:55Speaker 2: that story with y'all just to say, you don't know
- 8:59Speaker 2: who you talking, but what does it hurt if you
- 9:03Speaker 2: just extend your hand to a person and give them
- 9:05Speaker 2: a moment of encouragement. See this young brother right here,
- 9:10Speaker 2: he could come back one day and be a major
- 9:13Speaker 2: benefit to me because he has a skill set that
- 9:16Speaker 2: I don't have. Oh. I might be old, mister Steve Harvey,
- 9:20Speaker 2: but hey, guess what, I don't know nothing about what
- 9:23Speaker 2: this young cat know. And he'dne went off and educated himself.
- 9:26Speaker 2: And just a word of encouragement from somebody like yourself
- 9:31Speaker 2: can make all the difference in another person's life. So
- 9:35Speaker 2: remember on your way to the top. The more people
- 9:39Speaker 2: that you help become successful, the more successful you become.
- 9:44Speaker 2: It's a requirement of God that you do that. That
- 9:47Speaker 2: ain't Steve Harvey talking. If you read your Bible. Somebody
- 9:50Speaker 2: got a Bible verse that backed me up, email it
- 9:52Speaker 2: to me today if you know what it is. I
- 9:54Speaker 2: don't know, but y'all do out there all right. You're listening, mon,
- 10:02Speaker 2: ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, monkey trainers, people who
- 10:08Speaker 2: teach parents how to talk, kitty cat trainers, lizard collectors,
- 10:17Speaker 2: snake handlers at an old church in West Virginia, and
- 10:22Speaker 2: all the people around the world who are doing something
- 10:24Speaker 2: you probably ain't supposed to do and big up to
- 10:28Speaker 2: Offset this morning for buying card All in bags and
- 10:31Speaker 2: for Peter for coming out against them. I do want
- 10:34Speaker 2: to make a statement on behalf of off Set. I
- 10:36Speaker 2: am Offsets personal pr person today. I would just like
- 10:40Speaker 2: to say Offset has told me to tell y'all alligators
- 10:44Speaker 2: kill kids. Don't ask him nothing else about another burking
- 10:48Speaker 2: bag that he buying for Cardi B. This is the
- 10:51Speaker 2: Steve Harvey Morning Show, and that was our pop culture moment. Yeah.

- 14:13Speaker 8: youth minister.
- 14:13Speaker 2: I haven't.
- 14:14Speaker 8: My name is Sean Williams over at Missionary Baptist Church.
- 14:18Speaker 9: Which minus which new Youth Minnesota.
- 14:21Speaker 4: What happened?
- 14:23Speaker 8: Uh he's no longer with the church anymore? Man, No,
- 14:27Speaker 8: oh my no, why well, I'm not at liberty to
- 14:31Speaker 8: speak upon that. But but what I was doing is
- 14:34Speaker 8: getting around and making sure I met everyone because I
- 14:37Speaker 8: haven't met everyone yet and I wanted to reach out to.
- 14:42Speaker 2: Everyone at the church.
- 14:43Speaker 8: But listen, let me, let me get down to some
- 14:45Speaker 8: more business because I've I've spoken with the pastor.
- 14:49Speaker 9: Uh we spoke Bishop, Yes, I know, but it's Bishop Okay.
- 14:57Speaker 8: I spoke with him on yesterday, and we have narrowed
- 15:01Speaker 8: some things down of a few changes we're going to
- 15:03Speaker 8: be making at the church, and what we want to
- 15:06Speaker 8: do is one of the major subjects that have come up, sister,
- 15:10Speaker 8: is that we're wanting you, if at all possible, and
- 15:14Speaker 8: the deacons we're in on this meeting as well, but
- 15:16Speaker 8: wanting you to change your attitude when people are coming
- 15:20Speaker 8: in and you're seating them. From my understanding, it's gotten
- 15:23Speaker 8: to the point where they think you're wait wait, wait.
- 15:25Speaker 9: Wait, wait, wait, wait a minute, wait, I had a
- 15:27Speaker 9: meeting on me.
- 15:28Speaker 2: Well, it wasn't a meeting.
- 15:31Speaker 9: Listen here. I've been ushering on that usher board for
- 15:35Speaker 9: forty seven years. I am the senior usher on that unherboard,
- 15:39Speaker 9: and I've been trying to be nuts about it. But
- 15:42Speaker 9: I don't understand how y'all don't have a meeting without me.
- 15:47Speaker 9: But now you won't call here and tell me that
- 15:49Speaker 9: you're having a meeting on me about me being.
- 15:52Speaker 2: Nice always not Well, ma'am, that doesn't seem to be
- 15:57Speaker 2: the problem with that son twenty seven.
- 16:00Speaker 9: Ma'am gonna some boy to call me you this don't
- 16:04Speaker 9: make no o.
- 16:06Speaker 3: What is it?
- 16:07Speaker 2: Well?
- 16:07Speaker 8: What that's actually my call, ma'am, is that maybe we
- 16:10Speaker 8: have figured if I would call and speak with you
- 16:12Speaker 8: about the matter, that maybe we can get to some
- 16:15Speaker 8: type of uh rectifying this situation to where we.
- 16:19Speaker 9: Can we gonna rectify here. I'm gonna rectify you calling
- 16:23Speaker 9: me this time of night, tell my some meeting. This
- 16:26Speaker 9: don't make no time. And I don't appressionate you calling
- 16:29Speaker 9: me any time of night. Away, Bishop, I need to
- 16:33Speaker 9: speak the bishop.
- 16:34Speaker 2: Bishop.
- 16:37Speaker 9: I've been at this church for seven years. I've been
- 16:39Speaker 9: say oh my life, this don't make no type of sense.
- 16:42Speaker 9: You calling me here with this mess now is going
- 16:45Speaker 9: to make me cuss. I'm trying to be a question
- 16:48Speaker 9: but y'all not gonna lost me be a Christian. She's
- 16:50Speaker 9: just gonna just gonna agitate me with this mess we're
- 16:53Speaker 9: telling me about something.
- 16:54Speaker 8: Be nice, well, ma'am, that that son, that they're having
- 16:57Speaker 8: problems when you're seeding the people, and that's all that
- 16:59Speaker 8: we're trying to get.
- 17:01Speaker 9: People don't want to sit down, They want to go
- 17:03Speaker 9: over here. They want to go over there. They want
- 17:05Speaker 9: to have the children running too, and so it's like
- 17:07Speaker 9: a bunch of demons a while he's just walking around
- 17:10Speaker 9: in the trunch like they ain't got no sense. And
- 17:12Speaker 9: I'm not gonna have it in my section. My section
- 17:14Speaker 9: is gonna be strife.
- 17:15Speaker 2: And I understand it.
- 17:16Speaker 8: Let you know what, sister, I think if we did this,
- 17:20Speaker 8: if you would do me a favor and hold your phone,
- 17:22Speaker 8: and if you would just bow your head right now
- 17:24Speaker 8: for me, maybe we can come to to get to
- 17:28Speaker 8: get the man up.
- 17:29Speaker 9: What am I buying my head for? I ain't nothing,
- 17:32Speaker 9: because if we can flows is clean, it's hospital coffee.
- 17:37Speaker 9: It don't make no spleen for me. What did I
- 17:39Speaker 9: buy my head?
- 17:39Speaker 8: If you could, maybe, if you could close your eyes, sister, sister,
- 17:44Speaker 8: I want to close.
- 17:45Speaker 9: I said, you called me and woke me up out
- 17:47Speaker 9: of my fleet with this mess.
- 17:48Speaker 3: Come on, come meeting.
- 17:50Speaker 9: I am very annoyed at this and I don't appreciate it,
- 17:52Speaker 9: and I'm gonna tell you right now, I'm gonna.
- 17:53Speaker 3: Speak to me now.
- 17:55Speaker 2: Father, we asked that you look down upon sister.
- 17:58Speaker 10: We asked that you look down upon her right now,
- 18:01Speaker 10: right now, asking that you put a smile on her
- 18:04Speaker 10: face on Sunday morning, asking that you put some joy
- 18:07Speaker 10: in her heart on Sunday morning, asking that you draw
- 18:11Speaker 10: all the pain that she in, the anguish that she
- 18:13Speaker 10: might be going through, whatever demon there is inside.
- 18:17Speaker 2: We asked that you draw that demon out. We asked
- 18:19Speaker 2: that you poured that demon away from sister. Right now,
- 18:24Speaker 2: An your name, we ask all of these.
- 18:26Speaker 9: Blessings to come, because I don't appreciate this boy. I
- 18:29Speaker 9: don't even know.
- 18:30Speaker 1: Who you is.
- 18:30Speaker 9: All my is you my number?
- 18:32Speaker 8: Pastor gave me the number and asked me to call
- 18:35Speaker 8: I am like I said, I'm Sean Williams.
- 18:36Speaker 2: We haven't met yet, and I am the new you
- 18:39Speaker 2: know he know.
- 18:40Speaker 9: He don't act that way. And it's Bishop for the
- 18:42Speaker 9: third time. I've told your boy, Bishop respectful. The folk
- 18:46Speaker 9: see that's what missing.
- 18:48Speaker 8: Let me let me let me say this right. Here's sister,
- 18:51Speaker 8: and maybe this will shed some light on things a
- 18:55Speaker 8: little bit clear out.
- 18:56Speaker 9: I'm Tryst.
- 18:58Speaker 8: This is nephew Tommy from a Steve har Of in
- 19:00Speaker 8: morning show. You just got pranked by sister who is

- 19:23Speaker 2: Yes, ma'am, that's that's that's that's my uncle.

- 23:19Speaker 2: give us an excuse why you couldn't come so we
- 23:22Speaker 2: could uninvite you. Wow, huh, Mamma, don't cry, Mama, don't cry.
- 23:30Speaker 2: It's just one vacation. It's not good. Now, we'll stop
- 23:34Speaker 2: looking forward. Don't do that, all right?
- 23:41Speaker 1: Moving on to Teresa and Charleston, Teresa says, I've been
- 23:45Speaker 1: married for twelve years and I have gray hair on
- 23:47Speaker 1: my head and everywhere else. Now it's not a big
- 23:50Speaker 1: deal to me, but my husband wants me to get
- 23:52Speaker 1: wax so he doesn't have to see it down there?
- 23:55Speaker 1: Should I make him shave his gray hairs too? Wow?
- 23:59Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah? Need to get it off down there?
- 24:01Speaker 1: Am I?
- 24:01Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, that you do? Need to get it off
- 24:04Speaker 2: down there? Okay.
- 24:06Speaker 1: I don't think she's against it. She just wants to know.
- 24:09Speaker 1: Should she make her husband shave his too?
- 24:12Speaker 2: I don't know. Well, it ain't if he got something
- 24:15Speaker 2: down there, it's got to go. My How old are y'all?
- 24:17Speaker 2: They've been married twelve year? Are they like seventy five
- 24:20Speaker 2: or something?
- 24:22Speaker 1: I don't think so.
- 24:24Speaker 2: See, they didn't put their age, They just said how
- 24:25Speaker 2: long they've been married? Y'all might not be able to
- 24:28Speaker 2: shave down there. You need to get some medical cleanses
- 24:31Speaker 2: cause you must run to take a cut down there,
- 24:33Speaker 2: and you're too old. You ain't gonna believe, you know
- 24:35Speaker 2: how long it takes. He'll now, there ain't no air down.
- 24:37Speaker 1: There, ain't no as okay.
- 24:40Speaker 2: Yeah, So if he got great hair down his man part,
- 24:45Speaker 2: he got to shave too, Yeah, damn it, that's only fair.
- 24:50Speaker 2: Or or he can get some baby some Beijing and
- 24:55Speaker 2: put it down there, and then when y'all get thrown,
- 24:57Speaker 2: then when then y'all get through making love both, y'all
- 25:00Speaker 2: got to take a bath.
- 25:01Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, we're moving on flipping Kansas City says
- 25:08Speaker 1: my wife isn't speaking to me after her male boss
- 25:12Speaker 1: called her three times in one night, and on the
- 25:14Speaker 1: third time, I picked up the phone and told him
- 25:16Speaker 1: that my wife was unavailable. I don't think I was wrong,
- 25:20Speaker 1: but I hate that she's ignoring me. Do I have
- 25:22Speaker 1: to apologize?
- 25:24Speaker 2: No, you ain't got to apologize. But you call him
- 25:26Speaker 2: three times? She ain't available though? What you want?
- 25:29Speaker 1: Yeah, at night after work hours.
- 25:32Speaker 2: Yeah, that's disrespectful. That yeah, yeah, and that man know it.
- 25:37Speaker 2: Now you need to find out two things. Number one,
- 25:39Speaker 2: Is he married? Number two? Is he happily married?
- 25:45Speaker 1: Okay?
- 25:46Speaker 2: Three? Number three? Going to work in the morning, we
- 25:48Speaker 2: all going, yeah, is he attracted to your wife?
- 25:54Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 25:54Speaker 2: Yeah, And I think what you need to do. And
- 25:56Speaker 2: the way you find that is you go down there
- 25:59Speaker 2: for lunch one day, just walk in in surprise her
- 26:03Speaker 2: and asked to speak to her supervisor and say, hey,
- 26:05Speaker 2: is it okay if I take my wife to work
- 26:08Speaker 2: and just look him dead and I see what he's
- 26:10Speaker 2: say and if he flinched, just knock his ass smooth.
- 26:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:18Speaker 1: But why is she mad though? Why is she mad
- 26:20Speaker 1: at her husband and ignoring him.
- 26:23Speaker 2: Because she feels like he overstepped his bounds with her profession.
- 26:30Speaker 2: But your husband, no, he done called three times in
- 26:33Speaker 2: grade nine, but he listening to the con See he
- 26:35Speaker 2: been ill hustling, and all that conversation ain't been about work.
- 26:39Speaker 2: Oh I'm fine, just sitting here and joining myself. You know,
- 26:44Speaker 2: you know it was funny what they said at work.
- 26:47Speaker 2: See he didn't ill hustle a cop like that. So
- 26:49Speaker 2: he went, okay, call him one more damn time. She
- 26:52Speaker 2: had a vade? What you need?
- 26:54Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 26:56Speaker 1: Yeah, all right? Laverne in Green last one Steve lavernon
- 27:02Speaker 1: Greenville says, I work at the post office, and I
- 27:05Speaker 1: noticed my neighbor gets a lot of money orders every
- 27:08Speaker 1: month and he mails them out of town to the
- 27:10Speaker 1: same address each month. Could he be cheating on his
- 27:14Speaker 1: wife and sending the money to another woman?
- 27:17Speaker 2: Why is that your damn this Your job is that
- 27:22Speaker 2: post office is to sort the mail and put it
- 27:25Speaker 2: in the right thing so it could go where it's
- 27:27Speaker 2: post to go. Why are you and this man's business
- 27:30Speaker 2: bout these damn money orders? Do your damn job before,
- 27:35Speaker 2: because if you say something, he gonna report you to
- 27:38Speaker 2: the post office and you gonna be out of work. Mind,
- 27:42Speaker 2: your damn job is to deliver the mail rain, sleep, hail,
- 27:47Speaker 2: or snow. Your job ain't based on delivered a mail
- 27:52Speaker 2: based on rain, sleeps hal snow. And what I know,
- 27:58Speaker 2: money orders supposed to deliver the mail. The money orders
- 28:02Speaker 2: ain't your damn business.
- 28:04Speaker 1: Wow, he's really overstepping you, knows it.
- 28:08Speaker 2: This is a man that wrote this.
- 28:10Speaker 1: Uh Laverne in Greenville?
- 28:12Speaker 2: Laverne, No, leave that stuff alone and get out these
- 28:18Speaker 2: people's business. Im make me sick. Laverne got the old
- 28:24Speaker 2: ass name anyway, Laverne who the hell named Laverne anyway,
- 28:29Speaker 2: and sit your old ass down trying to be trying
- 28:33Speaker 2: to be like like you snoop it. You know you
- 28:36Speaker 2: ain't do that. They know why your husband don't care
- 28:40Speaker 2: about you now your knows ass?
- 28:43Speaker 1: Yes, hey, all right, thank you?
- 28:48Speaker 2: Still find out where your husband sending his money? Orders to.
- 28:53Speaker 1: Entertainment News. Right after this, you're listening morning show, well
- 29:02Speaker 1: in our What did Jada Pinkett Smith say today? Update?
- 29:05Speaker 1: Jada Pinkett Smith did an interview with Extra. She's still
- 29:08Speaker 1: promoting her book Worthy, which is out now, and she
- 29:12Speaker 1: announced she and her hobby Will Smith are planning to
- 29:16Speaker 1: write a book together and it's going to be titled
- 29:19Speaker 1: Don't Try This at Home. She stated that since she
- 29:23Speaker 1: and Will have been through so much and considering what
- 29:25Speaker 1: Will is going through right now, their book would be
- 29:28Speaker 1: helpful to so many other men. Jada said she and
- 29:31Speaker 1: Will would kind of talk about their specific journey together.
- 29:35Speaker 1: So see, what do you think would you read it?
- 29:37Speaker 2: What is Will going through? Now? What's what's happening with you.
- 29:40Speaker 1: Know, I mean the aftermath of the slap and everything.
- 29:42Speaker 2: And whatever it is is what's she didn't put him
- 29:45Speaker 2: through going? She started.
- 29:55Speaker 1: Is what do to help us?
- 29:58Speaker 5: Though me, I wish I would.
- 30:03Speaker 8: I'll tell you what, instead of them writing the book,
- 30:05Speaker 8: we ought to even buy them the Bible. They can
- 30:07Speaker 8: get them to let them sit down and start.
- 30:09Speaker 1: Read it together.
- 30:13Speaker 2: Hey, you know what what's crazy is I think what
- 30:18Speaker 2: happened to Will was you know, Will has been you
- 30:21Speaker 2: know fresh prince. Parents just don't understand, you know, been there. Uh,
- 30:27Speaker 2: let's get jiggy weed.
- 30:29Speaker 1: Being in black.
- 30:31Speaker 2: You know, he's been that guy. I think when he
- 30:33Speaker 2: slapped Chris, the ramifications, the whole the raft that he
- 30:41Speaker 2: got behind that decision threw him off because he didn't
- 30:46Speaker 2: this this could have been for him possibly and I
- 30:50Speaker 2: don't know this, but this could have been for him
- 30:53Speaker 2: the most traumatic thing that's happened to him image wise.
- 30:58Speaker 2: And I mean, and then it was all the heels
- 31:01Speaker 2: of the embarrassing red tabletop conversation with the little young
- 31:06Speaker 2: boy involved, the entanglement and now this, And I think
- 31:11Speaker 2: what is forced Will to do is just deal with
- 31:15Speaker 2: some unpleasantry that and I don't think his suffer game
- 31:18Speaker 2: is quite up to part. He should call me, well,
- 31:26Speaker 2: he needs somebody to show him how to suffer.
- 31:28Speaker 1: Yeah, because he was very beloved and still is, you know,
- 31:32Speaker 1: until everybody was shocked onto that who didn't like will
- 31:35Speaker 1: Smith you know before the slast Yeah, people love it.
- 31:39Speaker 1: Can still do you tut major? But then it took off.
- 31:46Speaker 2: He was gone, Yeah, Ali conscious.
- 31:54Speaker 4: And the.
- 31:57Speaker 2: Major dude man. And I think when he got the
- 32:00Speaker 2: raft behind to slap it throw him off. And they
- 32:03Speaker 2: ain't going through nothing. It's just welcome to the real world.
- 32:06Speaker 2: Welcome to the real world. And it's all relative. The
- 32:10Speaker 2: biggest star you are, you know, the bigger the price.
- 32:15Speaker 2: I mean, you know heavy is the crime, and you
- 32:18Speaker 2: know it's it's tough, man. So I don't know that
- 32:22Speaker 2: he's going to write a book that can help me
- 32:25Speaker 2: in though. What the answer?
- 32:28Speaker 1: That's the question?
- 32:28Speaker 2: Would you read the book?
- 32:31Speaker 8: I mean every time every morning we come to work,
- 32:37Speaker 8: it's the Smiths, the Smiths. What is the Williams doing.
- 32:41Speaker 8: What is the Baker's doing doing something?
- 32:46Speaker 1: Remember what the West doing? What the James doing?
- 32:51Speaker 2: Lebron and I praised God, Come on, John, come old.
- 33:05Speaker 1: Jada, We're gonna move on here. In other entertainment news,
- 33:10Speaker 1: whatever happened to a friendly disagreement on the basketball court?
- 33:14Speaker 8: Huh?
- 33:15Speaker 2: Well?
- 33:15Speaker 1: In former NFL star Terrell Owens case it ended up
- 33:19Speaker 1: with him being hit by a car. According to TMZ,
- 33:22Speaker 1: Terrell Owens was playing a pickup game of basketball and
- 33:25Speaker 1: he had a heated exchange with a guy in the
- 33:27Speaker 1: court and then Terrell thought they'd squashed it, but as
- 33:31Speaker 1: he left, the guy intentionally hit Terrell with his car.
- 33:35Speaker 1: The car struck him in his knee, but didn't do
- 33:38Speaker 1: any serious damage. The incident is being called an assault
- 33:41Speaker 1: with a deadly weapon, but no arrests have been made
- 33:44Speaker 1: so far. I mean, can you believe this he has
- 33:47Speaker 1: a disagreement on it.
- 33:47Speaker 2: Well, normally when you own the playground and somebody normally
- 33:50Speaker 2: when you on the playground. I've been over the playground.
- 33:53Speaker 2: Just happened and you see somebody going to their car.
- 33:57Speaker 2: That ain't a good scene because they usually open the
- 34:00Speaker 2: trunk and come back. Very rare to do they go
- 34:03Speaker 2: get the car and then bring the car is to
- 34:07Speaker 2: get your ass with it, because you usually get something
- 34:09Speaker 2: out the car. It's the first time I've hear or
- 34:12Speaker 2: somebody go get the car. I'm going to get my car, okay,
- 34:17Speaker 2: but don't actually open the trunk, switched it up and
- 34:20Speaker 2: draw he brought the car back. Yeah, what playground is?
- 34:27Speaker 8: Is he? O?
- 34:28Speaker 3: That?
- 34:31Speaker 2: What I mean?
- 34:34Speaker 8: Ain't need to cut off age for playground.
- 34:38Speaker 2: I'm just asking a.
- 34:42Speaker 1: Pickup game. Yeah, it was a basketball court.
- 34:47Speaker 2: He act like the car once again? How is kill?
- 34:52Speaker 2: And we out here arguing on the court.
- 34:55Speaker 1: Don't you wash it?
- 34:57Speaker 2: It was just like, that's what that's like. Steve used
- 35:01Speaker 2: to do that. That wasn't mean that what he did.
- 35:03Speaker 2: My wife real started at that. But you ain't posed
- 35:08Speaker 2: to end your career cause of it. No, Why was
- 35:13Speaker 2: he on a playground?
- 35:15Speaker 1: Tommy wants to know you're at the next.
- 35:17Speaker 2: Level, you know, people with courts clubs. Yeah, why is
- 35:23Speaker 2: I'm down at a public playground outside where somebody can
- 35:26Speaker 2: go get they damn car at the hall? All right?
- 35:31Speaker 1: Coming up in twenty minutes after, guys, another shooting on
- 35:33Speaker 1: an HBCU campus has claimed the life of a twenty
- 35:37Speaker 1: one year old student. We'll get into that talk about
- 35:41Speaker 1: that right after this. You're listening Hard Morning show in
- 35:46Speaker 1: sat and shocking news. There was another shooting on an
- 35:49Speaker 1: HBCU campus on Sunday night on the campus of Jackson
- 35:53Speaker 1: State University at an on campus apartment community, twenty one
- 35:57Speaker 1: year old Jalen Burns, a student from Chicago, was shot
- 36:00Speaker 1: and killed. Jalen Burns's father spoke on WLS in Chicago
- 36:04Speaker 1: and stated that his son, Jalen, was with one of
- 36:06Speaker 1: his fraternity brothers who wanted to break up with his
- 36:09Speaker 1: girlfriend and get his things out of her apartment. The
- 36:12Speaker 1: girl had a group of people at her apartment and
- 36:14Speaker 1: a fight broke out and someone had a gun. Burns
- 36:18Speaker 1: stated that his son was trying to break up the
- 36:20Speaker 1: fight when he was shot and killed. Now, according to
- 36:23Speaker 1: Jackson Police, Burns tried to drive himself to the hospital
- 36:26Speaker 1: after being shot, but he couldn't make it. An investigation
- 36:30Speaker 1: is underway at Jackson State University. Burns was an industrial
- 36:34Speaker 1: technology major, a member of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity, and
- 36:38Speaker 1: a campus leader. Wow, that's really sad news, very sad.
- 36:44Speaker 7: Yeah it is, it really is.
- 36:46Speaker 1: And here's an update on the Morgan State University shooting
- 36:49Speaker 1: that was from last week. On Friday, Baltimore Police announced
- 36:53Speaker 1: the arrest of a seventeen year old allegedly involved in
- 36:56Speaker 1: a shooting and they have issued an attempted murder warrant
- 36:59Speaker 1: for another set Javon Williams. The US Marshall Service is
- 37:03Speaker 1: offering up to ten thousand dollars to locate Javon Williams.
- 37:07Speaker 1: Five people were wounded in that incident, four of whom
- 37:11Speaker 1: were Morgan State University students.
- 37:15Speaker 2: Once they got your name, it's just a matter of time.
- 37:18Speaker 1: A matter of time. Yeah, but that's so sad.
- 37:21Speaker 2: How did you stop it? So?
- 37:23Speaker 1: You send your children to school, to college, you know,
- 37:26Speaker 1: and then you get this news that I feel. I
- 37:31Speaker 1: feel for these parents. That's heartbreaking right there.
- 37:35Speaker 2: Really, you send your child to elementary school, you send
- 37:38Speaker 2: your child to the movies, you go to church, you
- 37:42Speaker 2: just down at the grocery store. I mean, it's completely
- 37:45Speaker 2: out of control. This young man loses his life trying
- 37:48Speaker 2: to break up a fight. I'm telling you this gun.
- 37:52Speaker 2: Carrying a gun is causing more than you know. See,
- 37:56Speaker 2: the gun serves you no purpose unless you use it,
- 38:00Speaker 2: which is what happens in the minds of a lot
- 38:02Speaker 2: of people. I got this gun now that best By
- 38:06Speaker 2: carrying the gun, it creates and gives you an option
- 38:10Speaker 2: that's not there if you don't have a gun. You
- 38:13Speaker 2: know what I'm saying. If you got an incident at
- 38:16Speaker 2: an apartment, in somebody's house and you don't have a gun,
- 38:19Speaker 2: then you got to figure out another way for conflict resolution.
- 38:23Speaker 2: But if you have a gun, now you've opened up
- 38:25Speaker 2: an option that you would normally have, right, and now
- 38:28Speaker 2: you've chosen that option to use this weapon that you have.
- 38:32Speaker 2: And now, guess what. This young man's life is gone.
- 38:35Speaker 2: But I got news for you. Yours is gone too.
- 38:39Speaker 2: And the parents and the families, and the brothers and sisters,
- 38:42Speaker 2: they life is jacked up. I got everybody got a
- 38:46Speaker 2: right to carry, but man, everybody don't need.
- 38:48Speaker 1: To carry all right. Coming up next, another flight is
- 38:53Speaker 1: delayed because a passenger had an accident on a plane.

- 39:09Speaker 1: budget airline EasyJet were seen on videos that surfaced on
- 39:13Speaker 1: social media over the weekend. They were moaning and groaning
- 39:17Speaker 1: in disgust when their flight to London was postponed three
- 39:20Speaker 1: times after someone defecated on one of the airplane's bathroom floors.
- 39:25Speaker 1: The New York Post posted a video of the pilot
- 39:28Speaker 1: telling passengers on board the EasyJet flight from the Spanish
- 39:32Speaker 1: island of Tenerafe, Tenerife, that someone found it rather entertaining
- 39:39Speaker 1: to defecate on the front toilet. So now we're staying
- 39:42Speaker 1: the night here. We're now going to get everyone off
- 39:46Speaker 1: and organize hotels. Then we'll fly back tomorrow morning. The
- 39:49Speaker 1: official cause of the flight being delayed was cited as
- 39:53Speaker 1: the aircraft requiring additional cleaning. EasyJet offered passengers a six
- 39:58Speaker 1: hundred and ten dollars voucher to switch flights. Wow, another one.
- 40:03Speaker 2: Did they let that person back on? See, they don't
- 40:08Speaker 2: know who did it. Somebody ran in that bathroom and
- 40:14Speaker 2: it was in such a herd. He ain't had time

- 53:38Speaker 10: Here.
- 53:38Speaker 2: It is Drawbery Letter.
- 53:40Speaker 1: Thank you, nephews. Subject, what about the rumors about her
- 53:43Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm the oldest of three brothers, and
- 53:46Speaker 1: I love being the big sister. I have two sisters
- 53:49Speaker 1: in law that I love, and a total of five
- 53:51Speaker 1: nieces and nephews. It's my twenty eight year old brother
- 53:54Speaker 1: that's giving us all grief because he's chosen a woman
- 53:57Speaker 1: that's been around the block more than a few times,
- 54:00Speaker 1: and her children's father is known for shooting people that
- 54:03Speaker 1: cross him. My brother just got home from being stationed
- 54:06Speaker 1: overseas and he moved in with an old friend from
- 54:10Speaker 1: high school. He started driving for a limousine service just
- 54:13Speaker 1: to pass the time, and that's where he met the
- 54:16Speaker 1: woman he's dating. He told us that a wealthy man
- 54:19Speaker 1: hired him to pick up this lady, and the man
- 54:21Speaker 1: paid for the limo to sit outside his home until
- 54:24Speaker 1: the lady was ready to leave. My brother said he
- 54:26Speaker 1: was sitting in the limo waiting and right after midnight,
- 54:29Speaker 1: the door opened and the woman was pushed out onto
- 54:32Speaker 1: the porch. The man threw the woman's shoes out in
- 54:35Speaker 1: the front yard. The brother said he ran and got
- 54:38Speaker 1: the lady's shoes and helped her to the car. She
- 54:40Speaker 1: told my brother that the man used her for sex
- 54:43Speaker 1: and she thought he was really interested in being with her. Now,
- 54:47Speaker 1: if someone had told me that story the first time
- 54:49Speaker 1: I met him, I would not try to date that person.
- 54:53Speaker 1: But my brother decided to be captain save a chick,
- 54:56Speaker 1: and now he is dating the woman and taking care
- 54:58Speaker 1: of her children. She is thirty seven and trifling af
- 55:02Speaker 1: and she still runs a street behind my brother's back.
- 55:05Speaker 1: Both of my other brothers have tried to talk sinceon
- 55:08Speaker 1: to him, and we all cringe when he brings this
- 55:11Speaker 1: woman to family outings, and we're so afraid he's going
- 55:14Speaker 1: to try to marry her because he wants a family
- 55:17Speaker 1: so badly. Why did he fall so hard for her?
- 55:20Speaker 1: How do we get him to see there are better
- 55:22Speaker 1: choices for him? Well, you know the saying opposites attract, right, Well,
- 55:28Speaker 1: that's what's happened here. And you're so right about him
- 55:32Speaker 1: wanting to save her or something. I mean, she's a mess.
- 55:36Speaker 1: Her life looks like it's a mess. She's got this
- 55:38Speaker 1: ex who wants to shoot people. But she makes him,
- 55:41Speaker 1: your brother, your twenty eight year old brother, feel needed,
- 55:44Speaker 1: And you know how men love to feel needed. I
- 55:46Speaker 1: know you care about your little brother, but this is
- 55:49Speaker 1: one of those life lessons that he's going to have
- 55:51Speaker 1: to learn for himself. Unfortunately, there's really nothing you can do.
- 55:55Speaker 1: You and your brothers have talked to him. I'm sure
- 55:57Speaker 1: you've pleaded with him to leave her alone. Probably just
- 56:00Speaker 1: made him run to her even more and want to
- 56:02Speaker 1: be even closer with her, because the heart is just
- 56:05Speaker 1: so deeply invested like that you can't see it while
- 56:09Speaker 1: you're in You heard the other saying love is blind.
- 56:12Speaker 1: That's another thing that's happening here. You're gonna have to
- 56:14Speaker 1: wait this one out. You can start inviting some of
- 56:17Speaker 1: your beautiful single friends your girlfriends around. Maybe they'll flirt
- 56:21Speaker 1: with him a little bit and he'll realize there's something
- 56:23Speaker 1: better out there. But right now he's caught up. We've
- 56:26Speaker 1: all seen this movie before where a good person gets
- 56:29Speaker 1: with a bad person and end up getting their heartbroken
- 56:32Speaker 1: or worse. You know, you guys just got to make
- 56:35Speaker 1: sure you're there for him when that happens. And it
- 56:38Speaker 1: looks like dealing with her it's gonna happen.
- 56:40Speaker 2: Steve, Well, no other ways to handle this other than
- 56:48Speaker 2: what Shirley said. You can do it Shirley's way. I
- 56:52Speaker 2: guess that's true. More you know, non more conventional, traditional
- 56:57Speaker 2: way of handling it and letting it out all play out.
- 57:01Speaker 2: And you know this is a lesson he's got to learn. Well,
- 57:05Speaker 2: damn it, we need to learn this lesson today. We
- 57:08Speaker 2: ain't got no more time. This has gone too far.
- 57:13Speaker 2: You're the oldest of three brothers. You love being a
- 57:15Speaker 2: big system. You got two sister laws that you love,
- 57:18Speaker 2: a total five nieces and nephews. But if she twenty
- 57:22Speaker 2: eight year old, has given us grief because he has
- 57:24Speaker 2: chosen a woman that has been around the block more
- 57:29Speaker 2: than a few times. In other words, she just doing
- 57:33Speaker 2: laps that she go. Oh, here she come again. Whoo,
- 57:37Speaker 2: that's she go. Good riddings. Oh she back again. She
- 57:40Speaker 2: on the backstretch, she got she back again? Man? What
- 57:43Speaker 2: is yeah? That's what you're doing. This is the part
- 57:47Speaker 2: that would stop me. Her children's father is known for
- 57:53Speaker 2: shooting at people that cross him. Now right there, this
- 58:00Speaker 2: letter needs to go no further. At twenty eight, when
- 58:05Speaker 2: I was thirty eight, When I was forty eight, when
- 58:08Speaker 2: I was fifty eight, when I turned sixty eight. Hell,
- 58:11Speaker 2: when I was eight, when I was eighteen. At no
- 58:16Speaker 2: point did I like people who shot at people. It's
- 58:21Speaker 2: just it's never been. I've just never been an interest
- 58:24Speaker 2: of mine. I don't care how fine you are. Once
- 58:27Speaker 2: your boyfriend start shooting. All the beauty traits I saw
- 58:32Speaker 2: in you, they disappeared right away. Matter of fact, your
- 58:35Speaker 2: ugly ass needs to move on. So right now, I
- 58:41Speaker 2: don't even know why we're reading this letter anymore. But
- 58:44Speaker 2: my brother just got home from being stationed overseas. He
- 58:48Speaker 2: moved in with an old friend from high school. This
- 58:52Speaker 2: is another ridiculous line. He started driving for a limousine
- 58:56Speaker 2: service just to pass the time, didn't Don't nobody do that.
- 59:02Speaker 2: You don't take no damn job, no job just to
- 59:06Speaker 2: pass the time. You can pass the time sitting on
- 59:09Speaker 2: the porch. You can pass the time sitting in the backyard.
- 59:14Speaker 2: You can pass the time going down to the park
- 59:16Speaker 2: every day. He took a job because he needed to work.
- 59:20Speaker 2: Now you gonna be the big sister. Stop acting like
- 59:22Speaker 2: the mama. Make an excuse for these boys. He took
- 59:26Speaker 2: a limousine job just to pass the time, and that's
- 59:29Speaker 2: where he met the woman he's dating. He told us
- 59:31Speaker 2: that a wealthy man hired him to pick up this lady,
- 59:36Speaker 2: and the man paid for the limo to sit outside
- 59:39Speaker 2: his home until the lady was ready to leave. What
- 59:42Speaker 2: that sounded like to you, Dad? Don't sound like prostitution
- 59:46Speaker 2: to you.
- 59:47Speaker 8: Oh?
- 59:48Speaker 2: Hang on, Steve, got on, hang on, don't sound like that.
- 59:53Speaker 1: We'll have part two of your response coming up in
- 59:56Speaker 1: twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry Letters, subject
- 59:59Speaker 1: what about the rumors about her? Well, we'll get back
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: into it right after this.
- 1:00:05Speaker 7: You're listening Morning show, All right, Come on, Steve.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: Let's recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject is what about
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: the rumors about her?
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: Yeah, what about the rumors about her? Your twenty eight
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: year old brother that was in the military and came
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: home and was living with a friend, and you said,
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: you know that you a little upset about the woman
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: he didn't chose because she'd been around the block a
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: few times. Your brother just got home and moved in
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: with an old friend, and he started driving for a
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: limousine service just to pass the time. That's the first
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: lie you told in the letter, Because ain't nobody working
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: for no limousine service just to pass the time? You
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: pass the time? By going down to the park, go
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: to the beach, go to the playground with terrail and
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: play basketball. It's a lot of things you can do
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: to pass the time, but what you don't do is
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: pass the damn time by taking the job. He need money,
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: and that's where he met the woman he's date. He
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: told us that a wealthy man, a wealthy man hired
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: him to pick up this lady, and the man paid
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: for the limo to sit outside his home until the
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: lady was ready to leave. My brother said he was
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: sitting in the limo waiting and right after midnight, the
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: door opening, the woman was pushed onto the porch. The
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: man threw the woman's shoes out in the front yard. Okay,
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: now listen to me. Don't I know you're twenty eight,
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: you ain't that old, But we just don't sound like
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: prostitution to you. A wealthy man sends a limo to
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: pick up a woman as you wait outside to hey done,
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: right after midnight, he pushed her out on the porch
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: and throw they shoes in front of the front yard.
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: This is not what wealthy people do. Now, this man
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: ain't wealthy, because first of all, most wealthy people don't
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: have a porch. I'm just gonna be honest with you.
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: Most of them don't. It just ain't a word. That's
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: a word that dissipates after a certain income level. I
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: just want the porch ain't a word that people you
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: know they have. You know, they have a all port,
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: a cusheti in front of the house. They have a
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: foyer in the house. You know they have things like that.
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: Porch kind of goes away, wants you in a certain category.
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: And then throwing shoes out on the front yard. That's
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: some other stuff rich people don't do. They have people
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: that escort you out. You never see the rich man.
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: You never see the shoes coming out the porch. Somebody
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: will hand you your stuff, try to cheat you, inspect
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: to avoid the lawsuit. That ain't what happened here. She
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: got throwed out the man through the woman shoes in
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: the front yard. My brother said he ran and got
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: the lady's shoes and helped her to the car. When
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: he pushed her. It's hard to walk across that gravel
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: with no shoes on. So your brother had to get
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: her because some gravel in the yard somewhere. She told
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: my brother that the man used her for sex, and
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: she thought he was really interested in being with her.
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: One man.
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: Hold up, so, bruh, you still don't see prostitution here.
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: You don't see that she told you. She told you
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: that the man used her for sex. She went over
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: there with the idea to have sex. She thought he
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: was really interested in her. When he paid and asked
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: her to leave, she said, no, I want to watch
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: TV and chill. He said, well, you ain't finna chill
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: over here, cause you ain't the chilling tight. Now that's
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: when he pushed out on the porch and the shoes
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: got through. You don't see prostitution on him. I'm just
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: trying to help. Well anyway, Now, if somebody had told
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: me the story the first time I met him, I
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: would try not to date that person. Well, who will
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: we dating? Because she date everybody? She's a date to her.
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: She's in the dating business. So what they call it
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: the date? But it's a paid for sir, But my
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: brother decided to be Captain savor Chick. We know what
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: she really want to say. But anyway, we'll go with
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: Captain savor Chick because this morning radio and now he's
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: dating a woman and taking care of her. Children. She's
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: thirty seven and trifling a l and she steals running
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: the street behind my brother's back. Yes, yes she does,
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: because she's a street runner. That's what people who run
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: the streets do. She a street runner, this prostitution. Both
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: of my older brothers have tried to talk since in
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: to him. We all cringe when he brings her to
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: the family outing because we're so afraid he's gonna try
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: to marry him, because she don't even know what to wear.
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: She ain't got no family out and outfit. She over
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: here with the prostitution dress on. At the barbecue, all
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: the uncles is doing. I like lui Sri rika O.
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: Hear baby, yes you know? And then your uncles say
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: real crude stuff that she don't understand. H shake that monkey,
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: you know, stuff like that that don't really mean nothing
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: except to old people. Oh lord Mercer, I like to
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: crab in that barrel. You know, old people have stuff
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: that you don't make no damn sense. And he thinks
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: he gonna marry because he want a family so badly.
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: Why did he fall so hard for her? And how
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: do we get him to see that they're better choices
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: for him? It's real simple. You and the older brothers
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: got to get down and share the facts with him.
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: The woman you dating is behind your back, still running
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: the streets. The woman you dating you found out was
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: dropping her off for sexual acts and found out that
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: that's all he wanted was a sexual act. He done,
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: threw her out, She trifling, and she behind your back
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: with other people. He needs a fact that right now.
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: Don't let this play yourself out. He need a fact check.
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: You is dating a garden Tooloo.

- 1:09:44Speaker 1: with me the rest of the afternoon. I was in
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: a lot of pain. I was on a lot of
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: pain medication. But I faintly heard my husband on the
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: phone with someone and he said, she is knocked out
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: on pain med she can't hear me. I got up
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: and I went to the den and he was eating,
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: but he wasn't on the phone. I told him what
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: I heard, and he said I was hallucinating. Why would
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: he try to make me sound crazy when I clearly
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: heard what I heard?
- 1:10:11Speaker 2: Okay, But when you got up and you went in
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: there and he wasn't on the phone. What he just
- 1:10:15Speaker 2: hung up? Should have stayed your hallucinating ass and your
- 1:10:18Speaker 2: wounds on your pain man. Now your pain man got
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: you in here. Choosing your husband or something. He wasn't
- 1:10:24Speaker 2: even on the damn phone.
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: He had hung up.
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: It was he was eating.
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: Oh so you can't eat talk on the phone.
- 1:10:33Speaker 3: You can't do that.
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: Is that what you're saying? You could? But okay, but
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: check this out. I suppose he was talking to what
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: his boys and did the one of his boys say, hey, man,
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: did you get that PITCHU I sent you?
- 1:10:44Speaker 8: Come?
- 1:10:45Speaker 10: Man?
- 1:10:45Speaker 2: I saw that? Fine? Wooh, she was fine? He said, Man,
- 1:10:48Speaker 2: where you at? I'm at the house. He said, man,
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: need to be careful. No, man, she and that knocked
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: out on pain medicine. Cool. Then you walk in the room.
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: I just heard you say, she and that knocked out
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: on pain medicine. First thing he gonna do? Baby, you hallucinating?
- 1:11:04Speaker 2: Ain't nobody why say that?
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: Though he was on the phone with his boy, that's
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: she said. He was on the phone with someone.
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: Well, I'm tall, Sam, ain't nobody pain medicine? Did what?
- 1:11:20Speaker 8: She was on?
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: So much pain medicine. He ain't let her pick up
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: who it was. So now when you come in there
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: and he wasn't on the phone.
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: Oh so you can't even on the phone.
- 1:11:30Speaker 3: You can't do that?
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: Is that what you're saying you could. But okay, but
- 1:11:33Speaker 2: check this out. I suppose he was talking to one
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: of his boys and then one of his boys say, hey, man,
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: you get that picture I sent you? He can, man,
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: I saw that phone. Oh she was fine, he said, Man,
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: where you at. I'm at the house, He said, man,
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: need to be careful. No, man, she and that knocked
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: out on paying medicine. Cool. Then you walk in the room.
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: I just heard you say, she and that knocked out
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: on pain medicine. First thing he gonna do, baby, you
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: ain't nobody Why.
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: Say that though he was on the phone with his boy,
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: that's because she said he was on the phone with someone.
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: Well tell you something. Ain't nobody pain medicine did what
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: she was on? So much pain medicine. He ain't let
- 1:12:18Speaker 2: her pick up who it was. So now when you
- 1:12:21Speaker 2: come in there, and he wasn't on the phone, and
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: now you come in there with that the reason he said,

- 1:13:40Speaker 1: he's away at school, and after only one month, he's
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: maxed out my card buying a subwoofer for his car
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: and some sneakers. His father said, it's my fault for
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: not teaching him how credit works before I gave him
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: my credit card. Our son isn't stupid since his dad
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: is so understanding, Why won't he help me pay the
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: five thousand dollars bill? Why is her son not being
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: punished Taylor.
- 1:14:14Speaker 2: But see you gave him your credit card. You didn't
- 1:14:17Speaker 2: tell him how this works. Your son is not stupid,
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: Yes they are. Your children are stupid to a lot
- 1:14:26Speaker 2: of things until they are exposed to it. See that
- 1:14:31Speaker 2: bill don't come to him, so he's unaware of the repercussions.
- 1:14:36Speaker 2: Why does his asss have a car? First year of
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: college and you gave him your credit card? Why are
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: his ass working? So you enabled the boy. And now
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: you're talking about Wayne he punished, And why won't your
- 1:14:49Speaker 2: husband help you pay the five thousand dollar bill. I
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: don't know what system y'all got at y'all house, but
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: you need to get that credit card from that dumb
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: ass boy. Yours all that stuff? Wow?
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: All that?
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: Yeah, you go to yourself. You can you can keep

- 1:19:34Speaker 2: I don't do it? Damn? Why we over here to
- 1:19:37Speaker 2: ask what.
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: We pushed the button? Didn't we best, you push your
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: turn it on, you kept it on, best of the biggest.
- 1:19:50Speaker 2: The best or the biggest, whichever one I was, it
- 1:19:52Speaker 2: wasn't good enough to keep us together. The Yeah, what
- 1:19:56Speaker 2: I care? I'll give a damn if I was the
- 1:19:58Speaker 2: best or the biggest.
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: Oval that's today's round him. Would you rather.
- 1:20:06Speaker 3: So?
- 1:20:06Speaker 2: Whatever?
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: All right, coming up is our last break of the day.
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: We'll have some closing remarks and close out the show
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: with the one and only Steve Harvey right after this.
- 1:20:17Speaker 7: You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: All right, guys, here we are, last break of the day.
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: It's been a good Wednesday. Huh. Been a good day?
- 1:20:28Speaker 2: Yeah, been a good day.
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: Yeah, what are you saying like that? Because you know what,
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: I'm just surprised.
- 1:20:34Speaker 5: Don't even know the price of reckless stuff.
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: He just don't know because he's rich, just rich people, baby.
- 1:20:40Speaker 2: It's rich. Well let me see, well, let me say that.
- 1:20:44Speaker 2: Well you've heard Biggie said, more money, more problems. Yeah,
- 1:20:49Speaker 2: it comes with a slew of things that I had
- 1:20:52Speaker 2: no idea came with it, and it's just it allows
- 1:20:57Speaker 2: us all to take a like remembering stuff, but it
- 1:21:01Speaker 2: also allows people to dream. So I mean it's okay
- 1:21:05Speaker 2: that I don't know people talking about how to hear
- 1:21:08Speaker 2: you don't know the price of loaf of bread, because
- 1:21:10Speaker 2: I ain't been in no store to buy none. So
- 1:21:13Speaker 2: at whatever price is that moved up to? Like I
- 1:21:15Speaker 2: made the comment earlier in the show, we were talking
- 1:21:17Speaker 2: about Chuck Taylor's, and I said, the last time I
- 1:21:20Speaker 2: bought Chuck Taylor's, there were twelve dollars. And then then
- 1:21:24Speaker 2: somebody said twenty two. I said, well, twenty two and
- 1:21:28Speaker 2: twelve is the same thing for me. For the average
- 1:21:31Speaker 2: person that may not be, but for me, twenty two
- 1:21:34Speaker 2: dollars and twelve dollars it's the same thing. It's a
- 1:21:36Speaker 2: ten dollars difference, and that ain't where I'm at. So
- 1:21:40Speaker 2: the ten dollars is you.
- 1:21:42Speaker 5: Know, okay, a movie ticket up? How many you think
- 1:21:45Speaker 5: a movie ticket is?
- 1:21:47Speaker 2: Yeah? Ten dollars?
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: How much?
- 1:21:49Speaker 2: That's thirteen dollars, that's okay, that's right about You're right
- 1:21:56Speaker 2: you doing that. That's because it depends on those I mean,
- 1:21:59Speaker 2: because I had to time, and what time you go
- 1:22:03Speaker 2: up do what m I had made out a theater
- 1:22:07Speaker 2: and pay for all the city. And that's how your
- 1:22:10Speaker 2: rich ass found out.
- 1:22:13Speaker 3: You knew what you do.
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: That was too easy for him. Then your nephew, you
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: knew it.
- 1:22:23Speaker 2: When I was I bought like several movie theaters out.
- 1:22:25Speaker 2: I sent a lot of kids to see Black Panther.
- 1:22:28Speaker 2: I said, three hundred kids to see Black Panther. That's
- 1:22:31Speaker 2: how you So I had to read out a lot
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: of movie theaters. That's how. Okay, here go on, here
- 1:22:36Speaker 2: go two weeks from now.
- 1:22:38Speaker 8: You want to leave Atlanta and go to l A
- 1:22:42Speaker 8: deal the airline, Okay, that's the oh, the airline. Okay,
- 1:22:46Speaker 8: we're on the airli. So now I'm gonna give you
- 1:22:49Speaker 8: two shots. What you think coach is brown trip? What's
- 1:22:54Speaker 8: first class?
- 1:22:54Speaker 2: Round trip? First class probably like two thousand and and
- 1:22:59Speaker 2: co which is probably like eight hundred mm hmm.
- 1:23:03Speaker 8: Okay, first class is twenty five hundred and coaches full sixty.
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: I was gonna say, coach thousand minute?
- 1:23:15Speaker 8: You mad?
- 1:23:17Speaker 2: I did that? He to double the call.
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: Yeah, but that's my right though.
- 1:23:28Speaker 2: Sometimes now that's two weeks out. I was saying, come on,
- 1:23:30Speaker 2: come on, y'all, anybody else, anybody come on, okay, all right?
- 1:23:35Speaker 5: Hotel room, oh Friday Sunday, Marriott Hotel.

- 1:24:17Speaker 2: in the largest junior executive suite we had. You got
- 1:24:21Speaker 2: to be kids. I could see everything from my bed.
- 1:24:26Speaker 2: I could see my clothes, I can turn TV on
- 1:24:31Speaker 2: my big toe. Why why am I in this room?
- 1:24:34Speaker 2: I could touch the couch. The couch was next to
- 1:24:37Speaker 2: the bed. I could flush the toilet with my other foot.
- 1:24:44Speaker 2: So a regular room at Marryotte, regular room three days.
- 1:24:51Speaker 2: That's gotta be about about nine hundred.

- 1:25:05Speaker 12: At the marry Out, Yes, sir, it's on the weekend.
