- 1:47Speaker 8: the monica look me, come.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Come on, you'll think that.
- 2:01Speaker 9: Uh huh, I sure will come on to everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 2: You'll listen to the voice. Come on, dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 2: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Yep. Yeah.
- 2:16Speaker 9: Sometimes all I can say, help, man, how far I've
- 2:21Speaker 9: come is really unbelievable. But you know I finally figured
- 2:24Speaker 9: it out.
- 2:24Speaker 5: Man.
- 2:25Speaker 9: God allowed me to have the life I've had so
- 2:32Speaker 9: that I can become experienced at so many different things.
- 2:37Speaker 9: And in this experience, when I'm talking and sharing with people,
- 2:41Speaker 9: I will be able to relate to a lot of
- 2:43Speaker 9: different circumstances, not exact, but just the circumstances.
- 2:47Speaker 2: You know.
- 2:48Speaker 9: You know if a person comes to me and they say, man,
- 2:50Speaker 9: I've been down and out, Okay, well I know what
- 2:52Speaker 9: that is.
- 2:53Speaker 2: Man. I didn't I didn't have any direction, Okay, got
- 2:56Speaker 2: that been there.
- 2:58Speaker 9: Man at one point in time, Man, I just kept
- 3:00Speaker 9: piling mistake on top of mistakes. Okay, So you know,
- 3:08Speaker 9: I think what I'm trying to say to everybody is
- 3:10Speaker 9: when you're going through life and life is dealing the
- 3:14Speaker 9: cards that it deals, I want you to understand that
- 3:18Speaker 9: life deals everybody these cards. The disappointment card, the setback card,
- 3:25Speaker 9: the failure card, the mishap card, the unexpected misery card.
- 3:33Speaker 9: Everybody gonna get, the grief card, everybody gonna get, the
- 3:37Speaker 9: rash of bad decision card, everybody gonna get them. Understand
- 3:42Speaker 9: that going in that everybody is gonna get these cards
- 3:51Speaker 9: is how you play them, though, you know, from time
- 3:55Speaker 9: to time, one more time, it's how you play them.
- 3:58Speaker 2: Uh, you know.
- 3:58Speaker 9: From time to time when I'm watching TV, I love
- 4:01Speaker 9: to watch the World Series of Poker. I like watching
- 4:05Speaker 9: poker tournaments on TV because it's really weird. What's happened
- 4:11Speaker 9: to sport? To a poker they're actually trying to call
- 4:14Speaker 9: it a sport, you know, and as to everyday guide
- 4:17Speaker 9: that doesn't have to be athletically inclined to anything. Who
- 4:21Speaker 9: has a shot of winning a title if they play
- 4:25Speaker 9: their cards right, The best poker players in the world
- 4:30Speaker 9: don't have the best hands. They just make the best plays.
- 4:37Speaker 9: I've seen guys win a hand with nine to two
- 4:39Speaker 9: in they hand that's nothing, and win their hand because
- 4:43Speaker 9: they knew the bluff, they knew the odds, they calculated risks,
- 4:49Speaker 9: they made the stakes higher than the other person was
- 4:52Speaker 9: willing to pay. They gave off the illusion that they
- 4:56Speaker 9: had something when in actuality, they had nothing. So what
- 5:02Speaker 9: I enjoy about poker and watching it is that these people,
- 5:06Speaker 9: these people here, play the hand they dealt and it
- 5:11Speaker 9: ain't always a good hand. But it ain't whether your
- 5:15Speaker 9: hand is good. And it ain't whether you're gonna get
- 5:17Speaker 9: dealt bad cards or not, because you're gonna get dealt
- 5:19Speaker 9: some bad cars. Everybody ain't finna get two bullets in
- 5:22Speaker 9: their hand. You ain't finna get two aces when you
- 5:24Speaker 9: get dealt.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Uh.
- 5:25Speaker 9: You know, when you play a draw poker, some of
- 5:28Speaker 9: your cards gonna be nothing, But you gotta turn that
- 5:30Speaker 9: nothing into something. So when you get dealt these cards
- 5:34Speaker 9: in life, it ain't the fact that you getting to
- 5:36Speaker 9: keep getting them dealt. I was talking with a young
- 5:38Speaker 9: person yesterday and we were talking and we keep having
- 5:42Speaker 9: the same conversation over and over and over, and they
- 5:45Speaker 9: could not understand why they were not moving forward. But
- 5:48Speaker 9: I said, you don't understand. Every time we talk, we
- 5:51Speaker 9: have the exact same conversation. It is simply because you
- 5:56Speaker 9: keep getting your cards and.
- 5:58Speaker 2: You playing them the same way. See.
- 6:01Speaker 9: Until you make a conscience, the conscious decision to do
- 6:06Speaker 9: something different, the results will continue to be the same.
- 6:11Speaker 9: See here's here's here's the way this works. When you're
- 6:16Speaker 9: dealt to disappointments in life, it's how you handle the
- 6:20Speaker 9: disappointments that determine their outcome and who you are. Because
- 6:24Speaker 9: everybody gonna be disappointment, Everybody gonna lose a loved one,
- 6:28Speaker 9: everybody gonna make a bad decision, everybody gonna end wake
- 6:31Speaker 9: up one morning and have done something they regretted. Everybody
- 6:34Speaker 9: gonna get caught at the wrong time. Every everybody gonna
- 6:39Speaker 9: make a mistake.
- 6:39Speaker 2: It ain't just you.
- 6:40Speaker 9: That's how you play your cards when they get dealt
- 6:43Speaker 9: to you, that determine who you are. Now, how do
- 6:46Speaker 9: I play my cards better? First of all, it's a mindset.
- 6:50Speaker 9: Quit looking at everything as just the end when it
- 6:53Speaker 9: happens to you.
- 6:54Speaker 2: Oh lord, woe is me?
- 6:56Speaker 9: No everybody got your circinstances somewhere.
- 7:01Speaker 2: It ain't old woe as me. It's hold on, man.
- 7:04Speaker 9: Okay, let me play this out to see how God
- 7:07Speaker 9: done connected this to something else.
- 7:09Speaker 2: See.
- 7:09Speaker 9: Soon as a person have a setback, what's the first
- 7:11Speaker 9: thing A lot of people do, They go straight negative.
- 7:14Speaker 9: I can't see even get a break. I can't seem
- 7:16Speaker 9: to move forward. Hold on, man, do you realize this
- 7:19Speaker 9: could be connected to something? See you got to understand, man,
- 7:23Speaker 9: that this thing is all connected. That you not having
- 7:26Speaker 9: these mishaps and these spills and accidents and falls for
- 7:29Speaker 9: no reason. It's so you can become experienced at them.
- 7:33Speaker 9: So when he takes you to the next level, when
- 7:35Speaker 9: it happens again, you have no how and how.
- 7:37Speaker 2: To handle it.
- 7:38Speaker 9: If you keep throwing yourself off the cliff every time
- 7:42Speaker 9: something happened, you just gonna be a cliff divil man,
- 7:45Speaker 9: Stop tripping yourself out. I was talking to this young person,
- 7:49Speaker 9: I kept saying, and you know what, they tried to
- 7:51Speaker 9: tell me. I'm trying to stay positive. But to people
- 7:54Speaker 9: around here, they just killing that. Oh I see.
- 7:58Speaker 2: So when you learn.
- 7:59Speaker 9: Something and you know something, you don't take ownership of it.
- 8:03Speaker 9: You allow other people to come into what you know
- 8:07Speaker 9: and believe and shake it loose from you. I don't
- 8:09Speaker 9: care who you are. You not doing me like that.
- 8:11Speaker 9: Here's a deal. I have a gift that was given
- 8:14Speaker 9: to me from God. That is the gift of comedy.
- 8:17Speaker 9: That's what I've done. I've made the bulk of my
- 8:19Speaker 9: living on that skill set Right there. There are comedians
- 8:24Speaker 9: who are supposedly friends of mine, who I've worked with,
- 8:26Speaker 9: who get around in huddles with one another and they say, man,
- 8:30Speaker 9: Steve really ain't funny. I don't see what they be
- 8:32Speaker 9: laughing at. He ain't funny to me. He wasn't the
- 8:35Speaker 9: funniest king to me. Excuse me, you're irrelevant in this
- 8:40Speaker 9: conversation because irregardless as to how you feel about me,
- 8:44Speaker 9: there are people think that I'm knocked down kill over funny.
- 8:47Speaker 9: But more importantly, I own the gift that God gave
- 8:51Speaker 9: to me. I take ownership of his blessing. Cause you
- 8:55Speaker 9: don't think it's so. You ain't taking that from me.
- 8:58Speaker 9: Stop letting people steal your joy. Stop letting people take
- 9:02Speaker 9: what you're supposed to know. Look, I'm a kind person
- 9:07Speaker 9: at heart. Man, You ain't nothing, now you sitting here going, man,
- 9:10Speaker 9: I guess I ain't what's your tripping for? You are
- 9:13Speaker 9: a kind person, own that take ownership of it. Stop
- 9:19Speaker 9: letting things God has given you be taken away from others.
- 9:23Speaker 9: The devil is a cold player, and he got cold
- 9:26Speaker 9: players working for him, just shaking, just taking stuff from you.
- 9:29Speaker 9: You know, I'm a hard worker. I really am intelligent.
- 9:33Speaker 2: You stupid man. I thought I was a hard worker.
- 9:36Speaker 5: Man.
- 9:36Speaker 2: They came in here and said I was stupid. Man.
- 9:38Speaker 9: I don't know what I'm doing wrong. What excuse me?
- 9:42Speaker 9: You're a very bright person. Hey, y'all take ownership. When
- 9:46Speaker 9: God gives you something, blesses you with a gift, a talent,
- 9:49Speaker 9: a skill set, a mindset.
- 9:51Speaker 2: Own it.
- 9:52Speaker 9: Don't let people come in here and take it from you. Man, Okay,
- 9:55Speaker 9: I probably shouldn't have went that.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 9: Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, anybody working, unemployed, entrepreneur, retired,
- 10:14Speaker 9: haven't started to work for us yet.
- 10:17Speaker 2: I'm talking to you.
- 10:18Speaker 9: Your life can become immediately better if you resurrect, continue,
- 10:27Speaker 9: or begin a relationship with God Almighty.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Period. That's a fact.
- 10:34Speaker 9: Don't forget to pray, don't be ashamed to pray, and
- 10:38Speaker 9: don't ever be too proud to pray, because prayer changes things.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Facts.
- 10:46Speaker 2: That's all we need to say today.

- 11:03Speaker 9: was just and then it was just too much that
- 11:06Speaker 9: people that wanted it off got scared, so I put
- 11:09Speaker 9: it back.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Really okay, well here.
- 11:17Speaker 10: Here people that said it ain't on the zoom.
- 11:21Speaker 11: You know, first of all time, you're just not legendary
- 11:24Speaker 11: to me. I ain't saying you ain't legendary, just nothing
- 11:27Speaker 11: to me of question, man, okayugus, Steve, why is Tommy legendary?
- 11:36Speaker 11: Just tell me you don't have asked the question that
- 11:41Speaker 11: my question.
- 11:42Speaker 9: Well, well, here's here's what my introduction entails. I started
- 11:48Speaker 9: with Shirley Strawberry because Shirley was the first person ever
- 11:53Speaker 9: to join this morning show. I had been on the
- 11:56Speaker 9: air three days. They had discovered I knew nothing thing
- 12:00Speaker 9: about radio, wasn't doing time checks, radio signal calls, id's weather, traffic.
- 12:07Speaker 2: Nothing. I was just on there giving it to the people.
- 12:14Speaker 6: Folk.
- 12:15Speaker 2: Pure hour was a stand up that I was taking faxes.
- 12:22Speaker 9: You could fax me, you know, were No, I don't
- 12:24Speaker 9: think it was an email back there yet?
- 12:26Speaker 1: Was it?
- 12:29Speaker 2: Facts? We got factors and that was it.
- 12:31Speaker 9: The next person was calling for Real because she became
- 12:34Speaker 9: incredibly important to the show as a music producer, connoisseur,
- 12:38Speaker 9: radio expert.
- 12:41Speaker 2: Then Monica Barnes joined the.
- 12:44Speaker 9: Show because she got two degrees and we needed somebody
- 12:49Speaker 9: from Mississippi.
- 12:52Speaker 2: And then.
- 12:54Speaker 9: I mentioned Junior because he was the last one to
- 12:58Speaker 9: come on the show.
- 13:00Speaker 2: The legend that is Nephew Tommy.
- 13:04Speaker 9: Came about because he is in the making of becoming
- 13:12Speaker 9: a legend. The legend is a statement that is means
- 13:19Speaker 9: to come, Nephew Tommy be there.
- 13:23Speaker 2: So that was the thinking behind the.
- 13:25Speaker 12: Junior explain the blood part.
- 13:30Speaker 2: You don't him no blood. We got to go to.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Break coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour. Well,
- 13:39Speaker 1: hear from the legend the Nephew Tommy says he runs
- 13:43Speaker 1: that brink back right after this.
- 13:45Speaker 13: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 15:28Speaker 3: I know you excited and want to marry my cousin
- 15:30Speaker 3: and she kind of excited too about the whole thing.
- 15:33Speaker 3: But you know, like the family members, we got together
- 15:36Speaker 3: and decided that for right now, I mean, right now,
- 15:40Speaker 3: we've been the call to wedd now for right now?
- 15:44Speaker 5: What you talking about?
- 15:45Speaker 14: What you talking about calling the wedding off?
- 15:47Speaker 3: You know, everybody think you cool and I and uh,
- 15:50Speaker 3: you know, we real real passionate man about you know,
- 15:53Speaker 3: people marrying into our family or whatever. Like oh Christin
- 15:57Speaker 3: ain't never told me like that about what about something
- 16:00Speaker 3: not getting no married? Okay, well see right here, like
- 16:02Speaker 3: I say, this is what the family done decided on.
- 16:05Speaker 14: What the family decided on.
- 16:07Speaker 3: Okay, you see, this is what I'm trying to tell you. See,
- 16:08Speaker 3: we're a real close knit family and it's like this here. See,
- 16:11Speaker 3: first of all, let me get you to understand is
- 16:13Speaker 3: here you're talking to Butcher right now? All right, here's
- 16:16Speaker 3: a deal. You know, we didn't decided that the wedding

- 16:21Speaker 3: when we had we had the pot up barbecue. Everybody
- 16:24Speaker 3: brings something. Why, you ain't brain nothing.
- 16:26Speaker 5: What you're talking about.
- 16:27Speaker 3: I'm paying for what? Oh oh oh, oh oh oh.
- 16:31Speaker 3: That's what you've been to throw up in our face
- 16:32Speaker 3: that you're paying for the weg.
- 16:33Speaker 14: Hell yeah, what's I'm supposed to bring?
- 16:35Speaker 3: Hey man, everybody brings something. We have a pot Look,
- 16:38Speaker 3: you know, everybody brings something contribute to to to the
- 16:41Speaker 3: function of the event that's going on, you know. And
- 16:44Speaker 3: for you to walk up in there and I have
- 16:46Speaker 3: nothing that let us know what kind of person you're
- 16:47Speaker 3: gonna be in the family, we can't have it this again.
- 16:51Speaker 3: This Butcher right here, I don't know, no Butcher.
- 16:54Speaker 14: Look, I came to the family gathering technique. I came
- 16:57Speaker 14: there and showed up, loving on all y'all, telling y'all
- 16:59Speaker 14: break this was gonna be. And now you're telling me
- 17:01Speaker 14: I can't marry Christmas.
- 17:03Speaker 3: Is that what telling me a man the family that
- 17:05Speaker 3: already voted. And when the family vote, dog, that's it.
- 17:08Speaker 3: I ain't marrying the family, you man. You married my
- 17:11Speaker 3: cousin Christian. That's what you're trying to do. And you
- 17:14Speaker 3: ain't fit the maryor house.
- 17:16Speaker 14: Look, i'ma calling up to my job talking to like this.
- 17:19Speaker 3: Do not come calling me with no vote. Hey man,
- 17:22Speaker 3: let me tell you this here until we can decide
- 17:24Speaker 3: that you good for Christian. Until we can decide that
- 17:28Speaker 3: you know you can handle being married to her, and
- 17:30Speaker 3: you come correct as a family member. And if you're
- 17:32Speaker 3: gonna come to potlust, then you bring a pot. You
- 17:35Speaker 3: ain't brain nothing, I ain't got a fear.
- 17:37Speaker 5: Ain't nothing. I'm paying for this wed and I don't
- 17:39Speaker 5: give watch.
- 17:40Speaker 14: Up there all that money out of the dropped for this.
- 17:41Speaker 14: How about two bottles of wine to it?
- 17:43Speaker 3: You bought when I ain't seen no wine.
- 17:46Speaker 14: I don't care if you got that wine or not.
- 17:48Speaker 14: I saw hermama drinking it.
- 17:49Speaker 3: Okay, well, I ain't getting no wine. I don't remember
- 17:52Speaker 3: nobody bringing no wine. See butcher and normally see everything
- 17:55Speaker 3: that go on, I got class.
- 17:56Speaker 14: I don't know what he's talking about. Butcher. Whatever I
- 17:59Speaker 14: bought wine, Mamma was drinking it. And I ain't playing
- 18:02Speaker 14: that this wedding going down. I didn't spend over twenty three.
- 18:05Speaker 3: Thousand dollars on that. Hey man, I didn't already told
- 18:07Speaker 3: you that. The family then voted on that the wedding. Naw,
- 18:10Speaker 3: I don't give up.
- 18:11Speaker 5: I do them pay for this.
- 18:13Speaker 14: I ain't heard nothing from Christian about this.
- 18:15Speaker 3: Christin might not know what we'vene voted on. We made
- 18:17Speaker 3: the decisions sometimes for everybody. You understand that, well, let
- 18:23Speaker 3: Christian know that we's gonna stop the web. We I'm
- 18:26Speaker 3: just calm to let you know before. I ain't tell
- 18:28Speaker 3: her what's up.
- 18:29Speaker 5: You're trying to tell me.
- 18:29Speaker 14: Christen don't even know now.
- 18:31Speaker 3: We ain't told her that we don't agree with you
- 18:33Speaker 3: yet and that we're gonna stop the wind. We ain't
- 18:35Speaker 3: told of it. Man, out of here.
- 18:36Speaker 14: I don't paid all this money for this.
- 18:38Speaker 5: Man, y'all ain't stopping.
- 18:39Speaker 3: Hey man, I done already told you what we're doing.
- 18:42Speaker 3: I ain't. I'm not finna continue to go back and
- 18:44Speaker 3: forth with you.
- 18:45Speaker 14: Better go off my alreadys and your voice at me.
- 18:47Speaker 3: I don't know to hell you I tell you what.
- 18:49Speaker 3: Let me say this to you. I don't care if
- 18:51Speaker 3: I got to bust up in that church and stop
- 18:53Speaker 3: this wedding because you the win. A guess what we
- 18:55Speaker 3: then said, whatever I got to do, I don't know
- 18:58Speaker 3: who you with. I wish y'all was try to stop
- 19:01Speaker 3: this wedding. Look we can handle it right now.
- 19:04Speaker 5: I can get off of work.
- 19:04Speaker 14: I'm already going through some books and I'm already on fire.

- 22:55Speaker 1: if I'm going to cheat, do it responsibly. She has
- 22:58Speaker 1: serious baggage. Married seven years. Will I have to deal
- 23:02Speaker 1: with this forever?
- 23:05Speaker 2: She has serious baggage. I don't know what that means.
- 23:10Speaker 9: I think you trying to lead us to think that
- 23:12Speaker 9: she's accusing me of something you haven't done, because you
- 23:16Speaker 9: stayed out till midnight. You've got to deal with that. Yeah,
- 23:22Speaker 9: midnight coming in here. No twelve, you're fifteen. We don't
- 23:27Speaker 9: do that. So yeah, man, Now, if you haven't done anything,

- 23:38Speaker 9: she throwed it. I don't know, man, I don't know.
- 23:40Speaker 9: Y'all gotta talk through this because if you're really saying
- 23:42Speaker 9: you haven't done anything, dog and she's just you know,
- 23:46Speaker 9: carrying some baggage from being cheated on before, that's gonna
- 23:50Speaker 9: be a problem. But I'm gonna have to sit down
- 23:51Speaker 9: and talk to somebody, go to some type of marital counseling, yep,
- 23:55Speaker 9: or just sit down and just put a tracker on
- 23:57Speaker 9: your own phone and just say here, this is where
- 24:02Speaker 9: I'm at. I told y'all gonna be over Stands house.
- 24:05Speaker 9: This is why I woon. You know you could do that.
- 24:07Speaker 9: I don't know, but that's all I got for you.
- 24:09Speaker 2: Brother.
- 24:10Speaker 1: But she threw a pack of condoms at him.
- 24:12Speaker 2: Wow.
- 24:12Speaker 1: Okay, moving on to Sheila and Tulsa.
- 24:17Speaker 9: Now, if you throw a pack of condoms at me,

- 24:29Speaker 1: The twelve, all right, I know it's way t am,
- 24:35Speaker 1: I all right. Moving on to Sheila and Tulsa, Sheila writes,
- 24:39Speaker 1: my husband and I went to dinner with friends. I
- 24:42Speaker 1: was trying to tell a story from our past, and
- 24:44Speaker 1: he shut me down and said I had no sense
- 24:46Speaker 1: of humor, so he should finish the story. I have
- 24:50Speaker 1: ignored him since Friday. Why can't he see how hurtful
- 24:53Speaker 1: that was? He's not talking to him at all.
- 24:57Speaker 2: My wife can't tell a story either, dog, I know
- 24:59Speaker 2: exactly where.
- 25:01Speaker 1: But have you shut her down and said she has
- 25:03Speaker 1: no sense of humor?
- 25:05Speaker 9: Hell no, I didn't think there and listen to that
- 25:10Speaker 9: disorganized story, and she'd be laughing the whole time. She'd
- 25:14Speaker 9: be telling it, and people like her cause she's so nice,
- 25:18Speaker 9: so they be just going with it.
- 25:19Speaker 2: I'll be going, oh, lord, that ain't the order this goal.
- 25:27Speaker 2: You left this out.
- 25:29Speaker 9: Ooh, that ain't gonna be funny without this information you
- 25:32Speaker 9: left out.
- 25:33Speaker 15: A man, you're a professional storytelling you the kid?
- 25:36Speaker 9: Yeah, so you know it's kind of hard, But no,
- 25:38Speaker 9: I've never shut her down. Yeah, I've tapped on to
- 25:41Speaker 9: the table trying to get her to speed it up
- 25:44Speaker 9: a little bit.
- 25:44Speaker 2: She don't even know what that means.
- 25:49Speaker 1: Wrap this up, read the room. I'm trying to help,
- 25:57Speaker 1: but but she wants to know. She wants to know.
- 25:59Speaker 1: Why can't her husband see how hurtful that was to her?
- 26:02Speaker 1: For him doing that in front of all those people.
- 26:05Speaker 2: Well, it was either hurt you or watch the hurt
- 26:08Speaker 2: on they face.
- 26:09Speaker 9: Something more important, sacrifice of one for the good of
- 26:16Speaker 9: them all.
- 26:22Speaker 1: But it's silent in that house though she's not talking
- 26:25Speaker 1: to him.
- 26:26Speaker 2: Yeah, well he probably probably won't do it again. Yeah,
- 26:29Speaker 2: all right, it's.
- 26:30Speaker 9: Good, jun What's matter with you today? We got a
- 26:32Speaker 9: clo problem going on right here on the show. JUSI

- 26:37Speaker 12: No, I'm married?
- 26:38Speaker 2: That's it what I thought. Okay, let's go okay, moving on?
- 26:42Speaker 2: Got it? Exactly?
- 26:44Speaker 1: What question? Quick answer?
- 26:46Speaker 2: Got it?
- 26:47Speaker 1: Moving on to Anna and Virginia Beach, Anna writes why
- 26:52Speaker 1: are all the good men smaller and less exciting? In bed?
- 26:56Speaker 1: I met a man that's six four and I had
- 26:58Speaker 1: hoped he came with a lot of benefits, if you
- 27:01Speaker 1: know what I mean. But he did not, and I
- 27:04Speaker 1: don't think I can keep dating him. How do I
- 27:06Speaker 1: let him down? Easily? Easy?
- 27:08Speaker 2: You know what?
- 27:08Speaker 9: Lady you know what, lady, lady, why are all the
- 27:13Speaker 9: men that's good man small down there? Have you ever
- 27:18Speaker 9: thought that maybe you should reduce your test pool? What
- 27:25Speaker 9: you should narrow down your scope of test pool? You're
- 27:29Speaker 9: trying too much? What about you? What about you?
- 27:35Speaker 1: What about us? This is not about It's about the
- 27:38Speaker 1: men in her lives?
- 27:39Speaker 9: No, no, no, what what are her redeeming qualities? I
- 27:42Speaker 9: get tired of people calling in and talking about a
- 27:44Speaker 9: man can't do this in bed and can't do that?
- 27:47Speaker 2: What do you do?
- 27:50Speaker 1: Well? Well, that's not her question, But that's not her.
- 27:54Speaker 2: Question, her question, that's my question.
- 27:56Speaker 1: Oh back, answer her question with a question, see l
- 28:01Speaker 1: oh a chief love officer.
- 28:05Speaker 9: See and all the time it's not the guys. You
- 28:09Speaker 9: know what, ma'am? Maybe you just too dog gone experienced.
- 28:15Speaker 9: Maybe you don't done way too much, You didn't done
- 28:20Speaker 9: the most?
- 28:21Speaker 2: Now can't nobody keep up with you?
- 28:22Speaker 5: Now?
- 28:22Speaker 2: You mad?
- 28:24Speaker 1: Okay? Can you answer her question?
- 28:26Speaker 2: Though I've answered the question? Maybe you too much?
- 28:29Speaker 9: You know what, if you can't find nobody to satisfy you,
- 28:32Speaker 9: then can you quench the thirst? Are you satisfyabol or
- 28:37Speaker 9: have you done so much that can't nobody live.
- 28:41Speaker 2: Up to what you need. Really, no, no, not for real?
- 28:48Speaker 1: Why are good men smaller and less exciting in bed?
- 28:52Speaker 9: And you gonna pass up on a good man because
- 28:54Speaker 9: he ain't exciting in bed? Now you're exciting in bed,
- 28:58Speaker 9: but you might not be a good woman. Hello, oh man,
- 29:03Speaker 9: you know that.
- 29:04Speaker 2: Can happen too.
- 29:06Speaker 1: She doesn't think she can keep dating him.
- 29:08Speaker 9: Feel oh okay, Well leave him and move on to
- 29:11Speaker 9: the next one, like you've done time and time again before.
- 29:15Speaker 9: But you're gonna keep You're gonna quit passing up on
- 29:17Speaker 9: these good men. Men are trainable, you know. But I'm

- 29:39Speaker 2: In a quick minute. Yeah, you'll be over there by
- 29:43Speaker 2: yourself again.
- 29:46Speaker 1: This is from Ron in Valdosta. Ron and Valdosta says,
- 29:51Speaker 1: my wife goes for a walk most evenings after work.
- 29:54Speaker 1: I rode by her on my way home and she
- 29:56Speaker 1: had stopped to talk on her phone. When she got home,
- 29:58Speaker 1: she swore she wasn't on the phon, she was singing.
- 30:01Speaker 1: Why would she lie about what I saw?
- 30:04Speaker 2: Wouldn't you. He ain't been saying.
- 30:11Speaker 9: You stopped to talk to a girl when you tell
- 30:13Speaker 9: her you were singing.
- 30:17Speaker 1: She's just walking. OK.
- 30:20Speaker 2: Right there you have it all right. Lucky you didn't
- 30:23Speaker 2: ask me, because I have told you how to be,
- 30:25Speaker 2: I was praying.
- 30:26Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, we'll have
- 30:28Speaker 1: some entertainment news for you. Thank you, Sie.
- 30:30Speaker 2: Hello.
- 30:31Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening hard morning show. The haters
- 30:40Speaker 1: are at it again, and this time Asap Rocky is
- 30:44Speaker 1: getting backlash for comments he made about black fathers during
- 30:47Speaker 1: an interview he had at the met gala on Monday.
- 30:50Speaker 1: The interviewer asked Asap to give advice to black fathers
- 30:55Speaker 1: about raising black children, and Rocky said, quote, I think
- 30:59Speaker 1: that is it's like a known thing that people don't
- 31:01Speaker 1: really talk about, which is black fathers are always present.
- 31:06Speaker 1: Mine was present, all my friend's dads were present. There
- 31:10Speaker 1: was this weird stereotype of just this weird stigma about
- 31:14Speaker 1: black men kind of leaving mothers to be single black mothers.
- 31:17Speaker 1: I would say that it was all a facade. It
- 31:20Speaker 1: was all a lie. Then Rocky addressed black fathers. He said,
- 31:25Speaker 1: continue being great to your kids, love them, unconditionally, no
- 31:30Speaker 1: matter what. And on top of that, get your dad
- 31:33Speaker 1: swag right, because I'm in my bag.
- 31:38Speaker 2: I don't understand. What's the pushback. What's the criticism?
- 31:41Speaker 1: Well, here we go. They lashed out, mostly people saying
- 31:45Speaker 1: just because he grew up without with his dad, there
- 31:48Speaker 1: are millions of absentee fathers, black fathers, so that's what
- 31:53Speaker 1: the pushback was. He's yeah, millions of absentee black fathers.
- 31:56Speaker 9: There's more white fathers or absentee white fathers. Y'all actually
- 32:03Speaker 9: listen to me. Tommy grew up with his dad. Junior
- 32:06Speaker 9: grew up with his dad. I grew up with my dad.
- 32:09Speaker 9: All my friends grew up with their dad.
- 32:11Speaker 1: You know, grew up with his dad.
- 32:17Speaker 2: Carlo's daughter is growing up with her dad.
- 32:20Speaker 9: You know, listen, man, what happens is and asap Rocky
- 32:24Speaker 9: is exactly right. They take the ones that miss it
- 32:27Speaker 9: and they make that the story and they.
- 32:29Speaker 2: Talk about the Yeah.
- 32:32Speaker 9: But there are millions and millions, intens of millions of
- 32:36Speaker 9: dads who are there doing their job. Yes, sir, you
- 32:42Speaker 9: know black people on welfare, there's more white people on welfare.
- 32:46Speaker 9: Black people commit the most crimes. White people commit the
- 32:49Speaker 9: most crimes.
- 32:51Speaker 1: There are more white people on this planet. Yes, so
- 32:55Speaker 1: it stands to reason, you know, I mean, do the math,
- 32:59Speaker 1: come on, you know?
- 33:00Speaker 9: So, No, man, I think asp Rocky is perfectly fine.
- 33:04Speaker 9: You just got so. You grew up with your father
- 33:07Speaker 9: with out millions who didn't. No, you the one who didn't.
- 33:10Speaker 9: Now you mad at Rocky because he did. Ye, Rocky
- 33:14Speaker 9: was making a statement just on behalf of the men
- 33:17Speaker 9: who are active and doing what they're supposed to do
- 33:20Speaker 9: in their children's lives, which is what you have to do.
- 33:23Speaker 9: That's all he was doing.
- 33:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:26Speaker 9: Now, if you didn't grow up without your daddy, we
- 33:27Speaker 9: understand that. We understand the pain it must have been
- 33:30Speaker 9: for you got that, Yeah, I got that.
- 33:34Speaker 15: But mine died. He didn't, Yeah, he passed away. My
- 33:38Speaker 15: father was I was one of those statistics. My father
- 33:41Speaker 15: was not there. But to your original point, at the
- 33:43Speaker 15: majority people on this show, my coworkers, I looked to
- 33:47Speaker 15: my left and right, their father was there. So it
- 33:50Speaker 15: kind of all that great the millions, what does that mean?
- 33:54Speaker 1: But stop with the stereotypes. That's what I don't like
- 33:57Speaker 1: is clapping.
- 33:59Speaker 2: Back on everything.
- 34:05Speaker 9: You know, Tommy, that's social media. It has given a
- 34:09Speaker 9: voice to the lane. You know how many lame people
- 34:13Speaker 9: got a voice now because of social media, I mean
- 34:16Speaker 9: completely lame people. You know how many people on Facebook Live,
- 34:20Speaker 9: I G Live. You know how many people got a
- 34:22Speaker 9: podcast that would have never ever qualified for a TV
- 34:27Speaker 9: show or a radio show.
- 34:30Speaker 2: I'm talking about.
- 34:31Speaker 9: There's no way they'd got out the green room pitching
- 34:34Speaker 9: that to anybody.
- 34:37Speaker 2: But here they Boy, they put up a mic and
- 34:38Speaker 2: here they come. Yeah. Now there are some good ones
- 34:41Speaker 2: out there who have some good.
- 34:43Speaker 1: Post for sure. For sure, Yeah we're one of Meanwhile,
- 34:48Speaker 1: not only today SAP Rocky and Rihanna announced they're expecting
- 34:52Speaker 1: their third child together. They both have new movies coming
- 34:55Speaker 1: out this summer. Rocky will start with Denzel in Highest
- 34:59Speaker 1: to Lowest, I said, he will start with Denzel in
- 35:02Speaker 1: highest to Lewis that's the movie. And Rihanna starts as
- 35:05Speaker 1: Smurf Fed in the Smurfs movie. I love it. Congratulations.
- 35:11Speaker 1: So moving on, this is a bizarre turn of events
- 35:16Speaker 1: the game. The Rapper, of course lost his Calibalis Calabasas,
- 35:20Speaker 1: California mansion. This is all to satisfy as over seven
- 35:25Speaker 1: million dollar legal judgment against him after years he's been
- 35:30Speaker 1: in this battle for years and years a legal battle
- 35:33Speaker 1: with a former contestant from his twenty sixteen reality show
- 35:37Speaker 1: called She's Got Game. Priscilla Rainey, accused the Game of
- 35:41Speaker 1: inappropriately touching her during production, and she filed a sexual
- 35:45Speaker 1: assault lawsuit back in twenty sixteen. The Game was publicly
- 35:50Speaker 1: has publicly denied Rainey's accusations for years and has said
- 35:53Speaker 1: that Rainy came on the show with the intent to
- 35:56Speaker 1: file a boga's lawsuit to get money from him, but
- 36:00Speaker 1: in the end, Rainie won her case and was awarded
- 36:03Speaker 1: over seven million dollars in damages, and since Game has
- 36:06Speaker 1: refused to pay Rainy. At California judge ordered the Game
- 36:10Speaker 1: to sell his house to satisfy part of the debt.
- 36:13Speaker 1: His home is only valued at a little over three
- 36:16Speaker 1: million dollars, but Rainie said, hey, I'll take it. I'll
- 36:19Speaker 1: take it three million. But the debt the lawsuit is
- 36:26Speaker 1: over seven million that she won, and she said she'll
- 36:28Speaker 1: take the three She'll take the house. There you go, Yeah, wow, Yeah,
- 36:41Speaker 1: I didn't even know this. Yeah, I thought it had
- 36:43Speaker 1: been settled, this case. I didn't know that.
- 36:45Speaker 2: I never even knew it existed.
- 36:47Speaker 1: So yeah, well, he's gonna sell it. He's got to
- 36:52Speaker 1: sell his house now in Calabassa's and she says she'll
- 36:57Speaker 1: take it whatever it is.
- 36:58Speaker 10: Well, what happens if you don't like he has to
- 37:01Speaker 10: sold it all this time?
- 37:02Speaker 2: What happens they take it, They take it from him,
- 37:05Speaker 2: They'll put it in what's called receivership.
- 37:11Speaker 1: Okay, all right, coming up in twenty minutes after the hours,
- 37:15Speaker 1: Smokey Robinson said he is appalled by his sexual assault allegations.
- 37:20Speaker 1: We'll talk about that right after this.
- 37:22Speaker 13: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 37:29Speaker 2: Folks, there are a lot of reasons to like Hyundai.
- 37:33Speaker 9: Hyundai's done a lot to support American consumers. I mean,
- 37:37Speaker 9: they announced their investment of twenty one billion dollars in
- 37:41Speaker 9: the United States over the next three years that will
- 37:43Speaker 9: expand manufacturing and create more jobs for Americans.
- 37:47Speaker 10: And they just announced that they will not be raising
- 37:50Speaker 10: MSRP through June second, no matter what. Call five six
- 37:54Speaker 10: two three one four forty six zero three for more details.
- 37:58Speaker 1: Smokey Robinson was accused of sexual battery, assault, false imprisonment,
- 38:03Speaker 1: gender violence, and creating a hostile work environment. By four
- 38:07Speaker 1: Jane Does, who worked for Smokey and his wife Francis
- 38:10Speaker 1: for almost twenty years. The four Jane Doe accusers seek
- 38:13Speaker 1: a total of fifty million dollars in damages from eighty
- 38:17Speaker 1: five eighty five year old Smokey Robinson. The Daily Mail
- 38:21Speaker 1: put in a call to Smokey on Wednesday to address
- 38:24Speaker 1: the allegations, and Smokey replied, quote, I am appalled. I
- 38:28Speaker 1: can't speak about this right now. The reports of abuse
- 38:32Speaker 1: were very descriptive, and the accusers claimed that Smokey's wife Francis,
- 38:36Speaker 1: was aware of the sexual abuse over the years. So
- 38:41Speaker 1: we have to this story is still developing. We have
- 38:43Speaker 1: to wait to see what happened here. Yeah he's eighty five. Yeah, wow,
- 38:50Speaker 1: very disad they said. They said the Jane does were
- 38:52Speaker 1: afraid of losing their job.
- 38:55Speaker 9: See here's the climate that we live here. You can't
- 38:58Speaker 9: comment on the subject, You can't say anything that you
- 39:02Speaker 9: truly feel because you're just not allowed to because of
- 39:06Speaker 9: political correctness. So everyone on this show sides with the potential.
- 39:11Speaker 2: Victim, and you do it repeatedly.
- 39:15Speaker 9: And if you stand up and say for an instant,
- 39:18Speaker 9: I find that hard to believe, then all of a
- 39:21Speaker 9: sudden you get thrown into the category of saying that
- 39:25Speaker 9: the people who are accused us are lives. I've known
- 39:29Speaker 9: Smoky for a number of years, and I'm hoping it's
- 39:32Speaker 9: not true. That's what I'm saying. I'm hoping it's not true.
- 39:37Speaker 9: I've known the man. I've known the man for a
- 39:40Speaker 9: long time. I don't know, but even once again, I
- 39:44Speaker 9: don't know his private life. You know, I knew Bill
- 39:47Speaker 9: Cosby and I've had people come to me all the time.
- 39:52Speaker 9: How can you still be friends with him? Hey, look, man,
- 39:56Speaker 9: I can't erase the goodness this man has done towards
- 40:00Speaker 9: me and the things he's done for me and taught
- 40:03Speaker 9: me and set me down with her. Because he did
- 40:07Speaker 9: something obscure or something ratchet in his private life, how
- 40:14Speaker 9: could you still be friends? You ain't got no friends?
- 40:16Speaker 9: Done something messed up?
- 40:17Speaker 13: I do?
- 40:18Speaker 2: Do we all?
- 40:20Speaker 1: I think what it is to Steve.
- 40:21Speaker 15: It's like when you hear about sexual assault accusations, a
- 40:23Speaker 15: lot of times women the victim aren't not believed, and
- 40:27Speaker 15: because sometimes these accusers are famous, people take the celebrity
- 40:32Speaker 15: side all enriched automatically, and the victims are never heard.
- 40:37Speaker 15: So I think at this point people are saying you know,
- 40:40Speaker 15: you got to listen to what the victims are saying,
- 40:42Speaker 15: especially for serious allegations, and though sometimes the accusations are false,
- 40:48Speaker 15: sometimes they're true.
- 40:50Speaker 2: Here's I want to say. Something will be come back
- 40:52Speaker 2: about that?
- 40:53Speaker 1: All right, all right, we'll have more of a Steve
- 40:56Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show right after this. What's going on? Greeting
- 41:00Speaker 1: inside you tections?
- 41:00Speaker 2: Everybody.
- 41:01Speaker 1: This is Neil Hi. My name is Carlos Miller and
- 41:03Speaker 1: I'm Chico Bean and I'm the fool with the tattoo.
- 41:08Speaker 12: Hey, what's up everybody?
- 41:09Speaker 1: This is your girl Candy.
- 41:10Speaker 2: This is Anthony Anderson, gots people. This is Kirk Franklin.
- 41:13Speaker 1: Hey, this is Seca Cohn. What's going on?
- 41:15Speaker 9: This is your boy Kevin Harten less up, It's DJ
- 41:17Speaker 9: Cavin and you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 41:21Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 41:28Speaker 2: All right.
- 41:29Speaker 1: Before we went to break, Steve, we were talking about
- 41:31Speaker 1: the Smokey Robinson situation. Right now, he's accused of sexual
- 41:35Speaker 1: assault and how you know, many celebrities are accused. We
- 41:39Speaker 1: don't get to hear the victim side of it, and
- 41:42Speaker 1: you can't say anything because of political correctness and all
- 41:45Speaker 1: of that. You wanted to finish your thoughts.
- 41:47Speaker 9: And Carla was making a valid point in that what
- 41:50Speaker 9: happens with the victim is they oftentimes get accused of
- 41:54Speaker 9: not telling the truth, which prohibits a lot of women
- 41:57Speaker 9: from coming forward if they're not going to be believed
- 42:00Speaker 9: and can't get their truth out there. I agree with
- 42:03Speaker 9: all of that. Here's the part that troubles me. The
- 42:10Speaker 9: man that's accused, the celebrity loses everything immediately off the
- 42:17Speaker 9: accusation and the allegation. He gone, He got to step
- 42:22Speaker 9: off the air, he gets removed from his job, he
- 42:25Speaker 9: don't get paid, sponsors pulled then over then and there's
- 42:32Speaker 9: nothing he can do. Then the course comes out, and
- 42:36Speaker 9: then when it's found out nothing happened, then that person
- 42:43Speaker 9: gets to skip to the lou my dollar and go away.
- 42:45Speaker 9: Well I tried to get some money, but I didn't.
- 42:48Speaker 9: In the meantime, this guy or accused is left in
- 42:52Speaker 9: shambles trying to put his career.
- 42:54Speaker 2: Back together and.
- 42:58Speaker 1: Follow him throughout his career after this.
- 43:00Speaker 2: I mean, look at Shannon Sharp.
- 43:02Speaker 9: Right now, Shannon Sharp has stepped down from ESPN, all
- 43:07Speaker 9: of the sponsors have pulled from his podcast, all of them.
- 43:13Speaker 2: Jonathan Major is just.
- 43:14Speaker 1: Coming back, Jonathan Major, and it's because of the court
- 43:18Speaker 1: of public opinion and like you say, Steve's social media, social.
- 43:21Speaker 9: Media cause the company, the sponsorer has to air on
- 43:27Speaker 9: the side of the victim in case, and it doesn't
- 43:31Speaker 9: matter what it costs the person who's being accused, because
- 43:36Speaker 9: in Shannon's case, they've already released a lot of consensual
- 43:41Speaker 9: conversation between the two of them over two year period.
- 43:46Speaker 9: And then the woman comes out and says, well, that
- 43:50Speaker 9: was this time I was forced. Well, you got to
- 43:52Speaker 9: listen to that, because, as Carla has said before, no,
- 43:56Speaker 9: it's no now you can just all you can make
- 44:01Speaker 9: that up for some money.
- 44:03Speaker 2: So then you have to wait until it all bears out.
- 44:05Speaker 9: And then when it bears out, Shennon Shop is out
- 44:09Speaker 9: of work right now.
- 44:10Speaker 2: Michael Irvin was out of work and was clear.
- 44:14Speaker 9: Yeah, but for over year he was done and yeah,
- 44:19Speaker 9: Bro was and was done.
- 44:23Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, I mean we you know, these stories are developing.
- 44:28Speaker 1: It seems like there's one every week now or something.
- 44:32Speaker 1: You know, you don't know if people are just out
- 44:35Speaker 1: after them for money or if it's true. We are
- 44:37Speaker 1: not there. We don't know what goes on. Behind closed doors.
- 44:40Speaker 1: The burden of proof is on them. And you know,
- 44:43Speaker 1: like you say, when it happens, no matter guilt or innocence,
- 44:46Speaker 1: it follows them throughout their career. That's the bad thing,
- 44:49Speaker 1: especially just the part I don't like.
- 44:51Speaker 9: Yeah, I think there has to be some type of
- 44:53Speaker 9: restitution when a man is cleared. You can't just go okay,
- 44:58Speaker 9: go ahead, start your life back over again. No, you
- 45:01Speaker 9: took from this man. You should reimburse him if he's
- 45:05Speaker 9: found innocent.
- 45:07Speaker 1: Yeah, because they.
- 45:09Speaker 2: Got that.
- 45:11Speaker 1: Guilty. He's guilty. Yeah, absolutely, absolutely.
- 45:16Speaker 9: Oh, something should happen to these people who make these
- 45:19Speaker 9: false accusations when you find out it is a shake down.
- 45:23Speaker 1: Yeah, and you know what, there's always a lawyer lurking
- 45:27Speaker 1: somewhere for with these people who do make these false allegations.
- 45:32Speaker 9: Surely I was listening to the lawyers that are defending
- 45:36Speaker 9: the women in the Smoky Robinson case, and wow, they
- 45:39Speaker 9: just I mean, if you listen to them, according to them,
- 45:44Speaker 9: he's guilty, no trial, no nothing. But see all that
- 45:48Speaker 9: gets put out in the news. Oh, them lawyers talking
- 45:51Speaker 9: about smoking Robinson like he just.
- 45:54Speaker 1: Know, Yeah, because they wanted out there for the court.
- 45:56Speaker 1: Like we said, of public opinion. Yeah, all right, all right, guys.
- 46:02Speaker 1: Coming up next, we'll have more of the Steve Harvey
- 46:04Speaker 1: Morning Show and the prank phone call coming up from
- 46:07Speaker 1: the nephew, the legend. You gotta stats you back this morning,
- 46:13Speaker 1: You gotta status back this morning, Julia I gave Julie.
- 46:18Speaker 1: Appreciate it as you mart me. You're listening to the
- 46:22Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at about four minutes
- 46:30Speaker 1: after the hour. It's my strawberry letter for today, and
- 46:32Speaker 1: the subject is she watched and listened for weeks. She
- 46:37Speaker 1: watched and listened for weeks. We'll get into that in
- 46:39Speaker 1: just a few because right now the nephew is here
- 46:44Speaker 1: with today's prank phone call.

- 49:51Speaker 10: you to let you know there's a problem.
- 49:52Speaker 2: I'm letting you know.
- 49:53Speaker 10: The way to rectify the problem is you can scrub
- 49:55Speaker 10: them before you bring them in, and then we will

- 51:51Speaker 10: can freaking do.
- 51:52Speaker 5: Okay, Okay, that's that's fine. I'm gonna I'm gonna show

- 52:00Speaker 2: Okay, Well, that's that's fine with me. You know what,
- 52:02Speaker 2: I don't understand.
- 52:03Speaker 10: Why can't you just say, you know what, let me
- 52:05Speaker 10: do a better job at cleaning my underwear.
- 52:07Speaker 2: How about that?
- 52:08Speaker 5: I know, I know your life ain't that good. I
- 52:10Speaker 5: know you over there managing and now he's getting bored
- 52:14Speaker 5: of working. But don't be calling my phone playing around
- 52:17Speaker 5: this because I know you ain't doing this nobody else.
- 52:20Speaker 10: I'm exactly doing this or something. I'm not doing this
- 52:22Speaker 10: to anybody else. I don't have to do it anybody
- 52:23Speaker 10: else because nobody's bringing their clothes in like this.
- 52:26Speaker 5: Bro, I've been up there. Your employees are more dirty than.
- 52:28Speaker 10: My well, Sammy, evidently not. Evidently not your clothes. Why
- 52:32Speaker 10: are my employees complaining about you?
- 52:35Speaker 5: I don't know. I want your employees complaining about your too.
- 52:38Speaker 10: They're not complaining about my underwear, Sammy, You're the dirty guy.
- 52:42Speaker 14: Man.
- 52:43Speaker 5: You know what? I'm done with your You got any

- 56:50Speaker 1: All right, nephew, thank you. Subjects. She watched and listened
- 56:54Speaker 1: for weeks. Dear Stephen Shirley, I've been with my boyfriend
- 56:58Speaker 1: for five months. He moved in with his dad and
- 57:00Speaker 1: his stepmom right after we started dating. They have an
- 57:04Speaker 1: apartment in the basement and he has his own entrance.
- 57:07Speaker 1: I love his dad, but I never get a warm
- 57:10Speaker 1: never got a warm and friendly vibe from his stepmom.
- 57:12Speaker 1: And now I know why my boyfriend and I didn't
- 57:17Speaker 1: have to go out of my way to be nice.
- 57:19Speaker 1: My boyfriend said I didn't have to go out of
- 57:21Speaker 1: my way to be nice to her. I stay at
- 57:23Speaker 1: his place a lot, and we've had sex all over
- 57:27Speaker 1: his tiny apartment. The first couple of times we were intimate,
- 57:30Speaker 1: I told him that I felt like someone was watching us.
- 57:34Speaker 1: My boyfriend laughed it off and told me that all
- 57:37Speaker 1: of the cameras were outside around the property. Boy was
- 57:41Speaker 1: he wrong. There has always been a camera in his
- 57:44Speaker 1: bedroom closet because that's where his dad kept us safe.
- 57:48Speaker 1: For years. We had been having sex with the closet
- 57:52Speaker 1: door open. So when my boyfriend discovered the camera and
- 57:55Speaker 1: saw that it was recording, our stomachs were in knots.
- 57:58Speaker 1: We got up the nerve to ask his dad and
- 58:01Speaker 1: stepmom about the camera. His dad said that he doesn't
- 58:04Speaker 1: ever check that camera, but his wife does. The step
- 58:08Speaker 1: mom admitted that she checks the camera and she's seen
- 58:11Speaker 1: several different intimate moments over a three week time frame.
- 58:15Speaker 1: She showed us the camera app on her phone and
- 58:17Speaker 1: we pulled up THEO pulled up a video of meat
- 58:20Speaker 1: wearing a cowboy hat and denim shorts with nothing on top.
- 58:25Speaker 1: We were beyond shocked, and at first I wanted to
- 58:27Speaker 1: report his step mom. I think his step mom wants
- 58:30Speaker 1: him or something, because why else would she watch us
- 58:33Speaker 1: and then admit it. What kind of creep would do that?
- 58:37Speaker 1: My boyfriend has moved past this like it was nothing.
- 58:40Speaker 1: Should I let it go to? Well, you know, if
- 58:43Speaker 1: it's making you uncomfortable, and I can see how it
- 58:46Speaker 1: would be, the first thing you should do is make
- 58:48Speaker 1: sure the closet door is closed when you're over there.
- 58:52Speaker 1: Because this is weird. I mean, this is weird to me.
- 58:54Speaker 1: It's hard to say exactly what she's up to, but
- 58:57Speaker 1: she evidently was intrigued by what she saw. Because it's
- 59:01Speaker 1: one thing to watch the tapes to get information, like
- 59:04Speaker 1: if someone is trying to break in the house or something,
- 59:06Speaker 1: or the safe down there. But why would she just
- 59:09Speaker 1: watch I don't understand that either. It could be because
- 59:14Speaker 1: I don't know, maybe she's using it for something entertainment purposes.
- 59:18Speaker 1: She admitted watching the videos, which should have let you
- 59:21Speaker 1: guys know that she is very aware of what's going
- 59:24Speaker 1: on in her house and your apartment. Even though your
- 59:27Speaker 1: boyfriend is let it go. I gotta ask, do you
- 59:30Speaker 1: have a place, and maybe it's time for you and
- 59:32Speaker 1: your boyfriend to go elsewhere for intimacy. Until then, like
- 59:37Speaker 1: I said earlier, keep that closet door closed, Steve, I.
- 59:43Speaker 9: Don't really know why she wrote the letter to us.
- 59:46Speaker 9: I really really don't. I'm confused. Let me just tell
- 59:48Speaker 9: you why it's weird. The end of the letter says,
- 59:52Speaker 9: oh oh. She says in the letter, I want to
- 59:57Speaker 9: report her to who that's that's that's you know, you know,
- 1:00:05Speaker 9: you know. Once we got to that part, I was
- 1:00:08Speaker 9: so dog gonna confuse. I wanted to report his step
- 1:00:13Speaker 9: mom too. What the report gonna say? She was looking
- 1:00:17Speaker 9: at her phone app that she has cameras in her
- 1:00:21Speaker 9: house that's downstairs to watch the safe and y'alls having
- 1:00:26Speaker 9: sex with the door open, and she saw it on
- 1:00:29Speaker 9: her app.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: But what a crime?
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: What does she do wrong?
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: Now?
- 1:00:39Speaker 9: Once I heard that in the letter, which was much
- 1:00:41Speaker 9: later in the letter, it now negated the rest of
- 1:00:45Speaker 9: the letter because you and they house.
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: I've been my boyfriend in five months.
- 1:00:51Speaker 9: He moved here with his dad and step mom right
- 1:00:53Speaker 9: after we started dating.
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: Why why why your boyfriend had to go back home live.
- 1:01:00Speaker 9: With his mom and daddy, And that ain't in the letter.
- 1:01:04Speaker 9: They have an apartment in the basement and he got
- 1:01:07Speaker 9: his own interest. Okay, Entrance, I love his dad. I
- 1:01:12Speaker 9: never got a woman friendly vibe from his stepmom, and
- 1:01:15Speaker 9: now I know why. Well, maybe the step mom know
- 1:01:20Speaker 9: she barely in there. Too hard to welcome in the
- 1:01:24Speaker 9: new girl when you just got in yourself, and then
- 1:01:29Speaker 9: your boyfriend told her this, how this is how she
- 1:01:32Speaker 9: know you? And she ain't in real tight your boyfriend
- 1:01:34Speaker 9: told her you ain't have to go out your way
- 1:01:36Speaker 9: to be nice to her. I stay at his place
- 1:01:41Speaker 9: a lot. We've had sex all over his tiny apartment.
- 1:01:46Speaker 9: First couple of times we were in him, I told
- 1:01:48Speaker 9: him I felt like somebody watching us. He laughed it
- 1:01:50Speaker 9: off and told me all the cameras was outside the
- 1:01:53Speaker 9: boy Was he wrong. There's always been a camera in
- 1:01:58Speaker 9: his bedroom closet because that's where his dad kept us safe.
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: We've been having sex with the closet of dope.
- 1:02:04Speaker 9: And so when my boyfriend discovered the camera so I
- 1:02:06Speaker 9: was recording, our stomachs.
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: Were in knots. So then y'all got the nerve up.
- 1:02:14Speaker 9: Whenning the and asked his daddy and step mom about
- 1:02:18Speaker 9: the camp, Daddy said, I don't even checking him.
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: I ain't there can yet.
- 1:02:23Speaker 9: What no knew at I ain't I ain't checking that
- 1:02:26Speaker 9: cam down there that will beat me and the wain't
- 1:02:28Speaker 9: here that came on came on in year.
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: I don't even know where I forgot it. What that
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: it is down there?
- 1:02:35Speaker 9: There's a camera down there. Then the mother in law said, yes,
- 1:02:40Speaker 9: is down.
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: There because I got the application on my phone. MM, well,
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: what they do then?
- 1:02:49Speaker 9: Oh the cold. He keep a record everything going on
- 1:02:54Speaker 9: down there.
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: That that why they ever be.
- 1:02:56Speaker 9: Talking to it, because we done see some things. All
- 1:02:59Speaker 9: what did we see?
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: Heng on, we'll have part two of Steve's response pog
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: coming Backel at twenty three minutes after today's strawberry She

- 1:03:51Speaker 1: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: The subject is she watched and listened for weeks.
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:04:01Speaker 9: Yeah, This is the story about a lady that got
- 1:04:03Speaker 9: with her boyfriend. They've been dating for five months and
- 1:04:06Speaker 9: he moved in with his mom and daddy right after
- 1:04:09Speaker 9: they started dating. She ain't got no problem with that.
- 1:04:11Speaker 9: That ain't even question about the letter. My question is why.
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: And then.
- 1:04:18Speaker 9: She's never got a warm reaction from the stepmom, but
- 1:04:21Speaker 9: the dad is always friendly.
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: And the boyfriend told her.
- 1:04:27Speaker 9: You ain't got to go out your way to be
- 1:04:28Speaker 9: nice to her because I got this separate interest. You
- 1:04:30Speaker 9: ain't got to worry about that. I stayed in his
- 1:04:32Speaker 9: place a lot. We have sex all over the little
- 1:04:34Speaker 9: tiny apartment. First couple of times they was in there
- 1:04:39Speaker 9: me she told him, I think somebody's watching us. He
- 1:04:42Speaker 9: laughed and off told her all the cameras was outside.
- 1:04:44Speaker 9: But old boy, was he wrong. There's a camera in
- 1:04:47Speaker 9: the closet aimed at the safe that his daddy had
- 1:04:50Speaker 9: down now and they dodne have intimate reactions, intimate moments
- 1:04:54Speaker 9: with the dope to the closet opened where the safe is,
- 1:04:58Speaker 9: which now means that camera was showing whoever opened that door.
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: Well, they opened the door.
- 1:05:05Speaker 9: Then when y'all discovered that there was a camera and
- 1:05:08Speaker 9: you saw that it was recording, y'all stomach was in knocks.
- 1:05:12Speaker 9: Y'all decided to go up, says and confront the daddy
- 1:05:14Speaker 9: end the step mama. Daddy said, what camera you talking about?
- 1:05:17Speaker 9: I don't even remember that?
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: What is whoa?
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: Whoa?
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: What is kim?
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: Where did you get that?
- 1:05:26Speaker 3: Boy?
- 1:05:27Speaker 9: Cause you know that's how old old people when they
- 1:05:29Speaker 9: don't know nothing, they they voice, get a little high
- 1:05:32Speaker 9: and get it quizzing.
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: Poa what is cam?
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: Camera? Twan?
- 1:05:40Speaker 9: Now, good boy, I forgot all about that cam. I
- 1:05:42Speaker 9: ain't seen it that that camera?
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: What is on?
- 1:05:47Speaker 9: And then the lady said, I got the application on
- 1:05:50Speaker 9: my phone. I'dn't seen them down that neckad doing all
- 1:05:55Speaker 9: kind of nasty dangs. Oh lord, step mom admitted she
- 1:06:03Speaker 9: checked the camera. She sings several different intimate moments over
- 1:06:07Speaker 9: three week period.
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: She showed us the camera app on her phone.
- 1:06:10Speaker 9: We pulled up a video or me when the cowboy
- 1:06:13Speaker 9: had denim short said nothing on top?
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: Oh now you're just down there, cowboy carter.
- 1:06:18Speaker 9: Her where my clothes and where am I top?
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: Had?
- 1:06:27Speaker 13: No?
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: God, all my things hanging hat all right?
- 1:06:31Speaker 9: Now we were beyond shock, and at first I wanted
- 1:06:35Speaker 9: to report.
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: His step mom.
- 1:06:37Speaker 9: Now this is where I lost all credibility and respect
- 1:06:41Speaker 9: for your letter. You gonna report her step mom to
- 1:06:45Speaker 9: who And you're gonna report her step mom for what?
- 1:06:53Speaker 9: You don't get to go to nobody house where they
- 1:06:56Speaker 9: got a camera.
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: And do something and then report him.
- 1:07:00Speaker 9: I think his stepmam wants him or something, because why
- 1:07:04Speaker 9: else will she watch us.
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: And then admit it? What difference would it? A maiden?
- 1:07:08Speaker 9: She said, I ain't even seen that camera. Nothing says
- 1:07:12Speaker 9: she wants him. She just don't like you because you're
- 1:07:16Speaker 9: over there doing some things.
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: Girl, who who you in? That clown?
- 1:07:21Speaker 9: That's what's wrong. Her little fast tail just in here

- 1:12:11Speaker 11: Like he got a lady in the room I walked in.

- 1:13:14Speaker 2: I did, I did, I did. Do you have a
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: picture of that och?
- 1:13:23Speaker 12: Oh my gosh, we need to post it on that
- 1:13:27Speaker 12: legendary that was?

- 1:13:32Speaker 2: Now we get it. And surely and and and the
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: helmet is stuck. I can't get it off.
- 1:13:37Speaker 12: He can't.
- 1:13:45Speaker 11: Wow.
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: Well, Junior, thanks for enlightening us. Now now we get it. Okay,
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: all right, that's.
- 1:13:55Speaker 2: I don't care about games. Thank you.
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: Coming up on the top of the we are Steve.
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: Diva from Savannah needs some advice about her boyfriend. Should
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: she hang in there? Right after this, you're listening to
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve, this is
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: from Diva in Savannah. Diva says, I wash and fold
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: my boyfriend's clothes and take them to his house weekly.
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: I also have dinner ready for him most evenings, or
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: I meet him out for dinner. We're either at his
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: house or mine after dinner, and we either go for
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: a walk, have wine, watch a movie, or just sit
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: and talk. Sex isn't a big thing to him, so
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: sometimes we only have sex once a week, no matter what.
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: Every night, around eleven PM, he gets up to go home.
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: If I'm at his house, he starts hinting that it's
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: getting late and time for him to go to bed.
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: He will follow me all the way home and then
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: go back to his house. This has been going on
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: for almost a year. Am I supposed to go along
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: with this and pretend to like it? That's what Diva
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: wants to know.
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: Well, it's eleven o'clock.
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: It's eleven o'clock.
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: It's leven. It's level, it's level. You see what's happening?
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: It's leven?
- 1:15:13Speaker 9: Why are you asking me about this right now? It
- 1:15:15Speaker 9: ain't It always been eleven. Either I got to go
- 1:15:21Speaker 9: m either I got to go home, or you got
- 1:15:23Speaker 9: to go home.
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: But it's leven. What's happening at the level.
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: Yeah, what do you mean the wife comes home? Yeah?
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: Yeah, no, she don't come home.
- 1:15:38Speaker 9: Because you can't hide a woman been at your house
- 1:15:40Speaker 9: for the house day. You cannot hide a woman been
- 1:15:44Speaker 9: at your house for a year, not from no woman.
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: That's cutting it close.
- 1:15:52Speaker 9: What is just dip in this couch over on this side?
- 1:15:54Speaker 9: For what you always sit on that side over there?
- 1:15:57Speaker 9: And why it dips small?
- 1:16:00Speaker 6: Uh?
- 1:16:01Speaker 9: Because it ain't my butt print. My buttprint doesn't even
- 1:16:03Speaker 9: fit in here. Well, what had you been in here doing?
- 1:16:06Speaker 13: So?
- 1:16:07Speaker 9: The eleven o'clock, I think is he turns into what
- 1:16:11Speaker 9: he's not married, but he could be seen someone else.
- 1:16:19Speaker 9: And she got hours too. Everybody got hours. It's a
- 1:16:24Speaker 9: shift and you got you got the afternoon shift, the
- 1:16:31Speaker 9: four to eleven.
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: Does the sex once a week kind of give you
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: a hand? Yeah?
- 1:16:36Speaker 9: Yeah, and you and if you can, if you know
- 1:16:39Speaker 9: the day that you're getting it on, that's do you
- 1:16:44Speaker 9: on the schedule?
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: E tay?
- 1:16:47Speaker 2: Like if it's Wednesday, Yeah, that's it. It's just Wednesday. Yeah,
- 1:16:55Speaker 2: that's it. Ain't ain't nothing you can do back, all.
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: Right, we have time for another one, Steve. This is
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: from Ashley in Chicago. Ashley says, my husband and his
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: former best friend had a nasty argument and it almost
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: turned into a fist fight, all because of me. Apparently
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: they all planned to rent an airbnb and have dancers
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: come over for a bachelor party for one of their friends.
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: My husband said he wasn't going, and they called him
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: soft and soft and impact. My husband made his own decision.
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: Why are grown men still behaving like children?
- 1:17:30Speaker 2: See, this ain't your business.
- 1:17:32Speaker 9: Your husband ain't telling you the whole story. They ain't
- 1:17:35Speaker 9: get an almost fist fight because he ain't coming.
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: Oh what was the fight about?
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: Well, see they all was supposed to split this a.
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: Strip of money and making it rain money.
- 1:17:49Speaker 9: Naw, he done came out talking about he ain't going,
- 1:17:51Speaker 9: and everybody had they two hundred. Now since he out,
- 1:17:54Speaker 9: now everybody got put here five fifty. Thatfdn't be a problem.
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: But you wouldn't be mad if someone called you soft
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: story impact. That would make you mad.
- 1:18:03Speaker 9: That ain't that ain't why they that that's it's it's
- 1:18:06Speaker 9: a there is a gap in this story that the
- 1:18:09Speaker 9: lady don't know about. Trust me, they real good friends.
- 1:18:14Speaker 9: They're not fighting over that. It's some other words in
- 1:18:18Speaker 9: there that you don't know about. It's a deal got
- 1:18:20Speaker 9: cut that you are unaware and he ain't gonna keep
- 1:18:24Speaker 9: up his ends of the deal. Then they started arguing, oh,
- 1:18:27Speaker 9: he got called soft and everything, but he's way more
- 1:18:31Speaker 9: to the story than that, lady, way more. We ain't
- 1:18:34Speaker 9: gonna fall out, but I ain't coming to the stripples.
- 1:18:37Speaker 9: That ain't why we fighting.
- 1:18:38Speaker 2: Okay, you just go to break show.

- 1:22:09Speaker 2: Like on Michigan.
- 1:22:11Speaker 12: Start coming out.
- 1:22:15Speaker 2: I can't tell you how many phones I had to have.
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: All right, would you rather cook everything on a George

- 1:22:24Speaker 9: Well, Charley, let's let's let's let you answer that question.

- 1:22:31Speaker 2: Yeah, even Walliams burnt.
- 1:22:35Speaker 9: Well, you know, Shirley, I remember a story you had
- 1:22:38Speaker 9: h cook it in a crock pot. You cooked the
- 1:22:41Speaker 9: steak and rice in the crock pot together. You put
- 1:22:44Speaker 9: a raw piece of meat in a pot with some
- 1:22:48Speaker 9: rice and cooked it in the crock pot.
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: What is a gab god? Raw meat?
- 1:22:57Speaker 5: Now?
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: Long?
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: That thing gotta be in the crock.
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: It was great idea at the tent rockbox cooker, but
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: I hurried. I didn't want to cook anyway, shoots.
- 1:23:10Speaker 2: All right?
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: Next, would you rather take your wife to dinner for
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: Mother's Day? Or would you rather cook for her? You
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: cook for her?
- 1:23:19Speaker 2: You ain't got no choice. Got to do all that,

- 1:23:52Speaker 10: Oh to that? All right?
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: Would you rather shower one minute in? One minute of
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: hot water? Which you rather bathe in? Very very hot water.
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: Shower for a minute of hot water. A bathe in
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: very hot water. Just a minute shower with one minute
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: of hot water.
- 1:24:12Speaker 2: I'm a bathing that. I'm a bathing at the real
- 1:24:14Speaker 2: high water.
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: A shower shower. Take sixty seconds. Yeah, in and out?
- 1:24:22Speaker 2: What are you doing? Yeah? He gonna do sixty Yeah,
- 1:24:28Speaker 2: all right, I ain't got two clear areas. I got
- 1:24:32Speaker 2: to hit it.

- 1:25:22Speaker 1: Here we are, guys, our last break of the day
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: on this Mother's Day weekend. Now happy Mother's Day. Everybody.
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: Happy Mother's Day, Carl, thank you.
- 1:25:33Speaker 15: Thank you, and to all the mothers out there, that's
- 1:25:40Speaker 15: happy Mother's Day.
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: We appreciate and love you.
- 1:25:43Speaker 9: Knowing sad to say, there are people who have mothers
- 1:25:51Speaker 9: that they don't have a good relationship with, and I
- 1:25:56Speaker 9: want to employ you to change that. I know a
- 1:26:01Speaker 9: very famous guy when I won my first Image Award
- 1:26:07Speaker 9: and I had thanked my mother, and I think I
- 1:26:12Speaker 9: said something to the fact that I wish she was here.
- 1:26:17Speaker 9: I remember saying something, and as I walked off stage,
- 1:26:21Speaker 9: this very famous guy said to me, I wish I
- 1:26:24Speaker 9: felt that way about my mama, but I ain't spoke
- 1:26:26Speaker 9: to her in ten years. And I stopped and I said, bro,
- 1:26:31Speaker 9: you need to fix that. He said, Now, you don't
- 1:26:34Speaker 9: understand what happened. I said, I may not, but you
- 1:26:38Speaker 9: need to fix that. I don't know what happens between
- 1:26:44Speaker 9: a child and their mother where they don't speak. I've
- 1:26:47Speaker 9: seen it happen up close before, and it's alarming to
- 1:26:51Speaker 9: me because there's a scripture that says, honor thy mother
- 1:26:56Speaker 9: and our father and that days on this earth will
- 1:26:58Speaker 9: be long. Also, I just don't understand how it gets
- 1:27:08Speaker 9: to that point. But if it's gotten to that point
- 1:27:10Speaker 9: for whatever reason, let me say something to you. You
- 1:27:13Speaker 9: need to fix this because let me explain something to you.
- 1:27:17Speaker 9: Whatever mistake your mother has made, whatever you think, you
- 1:27:21Speaker 9: gotta remember, she's also not only your mother. She is
- 1:27:23Speaker 9: a human being, and human beings make mistakes. They do
- 1:27:28Speaker 9: it all the time. Nobody is exempt from that. But
- 1:27:33Speaker 9: the fact that you've managed to hold it for so
- 1:27:35Speaker 9: long it will serve you no good in the event
- 1:27:40Speaker 9: of her demise. I know another person who didn't have
- 1:27:44Speaker 9: a relationship with their mother and then their mother passed.
- 1:27:47Speaker 9: And man, this boy right here, he was crushed on
- 1:27:52Speaker 9: so many levels. And I had told him, I said, man,
- 1:27:55Speaker 9: you need to clean this up for something happened. Naw, Man,
- 1:27:59Speaker 9: it's cool the way is, but that will come a
- 1:28:02Speaker 9: day when you will lose this person who gave you life.
- 1:28:06Speaker 9: And I'm gonna tell you something. There will be no
- 1:28:10Speaker 9: words for you, that will be no comfort for you.
- 1:28:14Speaker 9: There ain't nothing nobody can say to you. You're gonna
- 1:28:17Speaker 9: wear this one Onie. You're gonna wear this one whether
- 1:28:21Speaker 9: you want to or not, because theres several of us
- 1:28:25Speaker 9: on this show have lost her. And I'm telling you
- 1:28:30Speaker 9: it is a major, major loss. And I don't care
- 1:28:33Speaker 9: if you've been cool with her, hung out with her,
- 1:28:35Speaker 9: love to cherish her, or you had disagreement with her.
- 1:28:39Speaker 9: If I was you, I would fix that because they
- 1:28:42Speaker 9: are the one person that brought you into this world
- 1:28:46Speaker 9: and you owe them for that.
- 1:28:48Speaker 2: You just do.
- 1:28:49Speaker 10: Now.
- 1:28:49Speaker 9: I know that's people that's gonna disagree with me, because
- 1:28:51Speaker 9: social media is just that way.
- 1:28:53Speaker 10: You know.
- 1:28:53Speaker 9: I get trolled all the time of our comments I make.
- 1:28:56Speaker 9: But I have the right to have my own opinion
- 1:28:58Speaker 9: about something. What I'm giving you is what I think
- 1:29:01Speaker 9: and feel. What I'm giving you is what I have
- 1:29:04Speaker 9: seen happen repeatedly. You have got to clean up this
- 1:29:09Speaker 9: relationship with your mom because she's vital, she's important.
- 1:29:14Speaker 15: You know what.
- 1:29:15Speaker 9: You're probably old enough now to be able to say,
- 1:29:18Speaker 9: you know what, I'm sorry, let's start over. You're probably
- 1:29:24Speaker 9: old enough now to say, you know what, I forgive
- 1:29:27Speaker 9: you for whatever happened. I don't want us to spend
- 1:29:31Speaker 9: another Mother's Day without communicating with another because one day
- 1:29:36Speaker 9: we're not going to be here for each other. It's
- 1:29:39Speaker 9: just an important relationship. And you got to remember something
- 1:29:43Speaker 9: that I've had to learn about forgiveness. Forgiveness is not
- 1:29:46Speaker 9: for the other person. It's for you, because every time
- 1:29:52Speaker 9: you think about her and what happened and what caused
- 1:29:57Speaker 9: the rift or what you're blaming her for, it conjures
- 1:30:01Speaker 9: up something in you. Bishop Jake said it best. He said,
- 1:30:07Speaker 9: not forgiving a person is like you drinking the poison,
- 1:30:11Speaker 9: waiting on them to die. That's really what it's like.
- 1:30:15Speaker 9: I had to forgive somebody this year who had done
- 1:30:19Speaker 9: me ohso wrong, and I had to forgive him this year.
- 1:30:25Speaker 9: And you know what, I felt better after I did it.
- 1:30:28Speaker 9: And you know why, because now when I think of him,
- 1:30:32Speaker 9: it don't conjure up those thoughts because I've let it go.
- 1:30:36Speaker 9: Now You're not gonna get me again. I'm not gonna
- 1:30:40Speaker 9: forget it, but I have forgiven you for it. This
- 1:30:45Speaker 9: is a time to make it right with somebody who
- 1:30:48Speaker 9: gave you life. This is the time to consider, just
- 1:30:51Speaker 9: for a moment, that this person that you are holding
- 1:30:55Speaker 9: accountable for whatever happened, is a member of the huge
- 1:31:00Speaker 9: Huan race. And there's none perfect, no, not one. Even
- 1:31:06Speaker 9: my mother wasn't perfect, and I thought she was. I
- 1:31:10Speaker 9: never saw my mother do nothing wrong. I never heard
- 1:31:15Speaker 9: my mama cuss nothing, but I'm pretty sure my mother
- 1:31:20Speaker 9: did something wrong. But the thing I'm great about, the
- 1:31:23Speaker 9: thing I'm grateful for is I honored her and my
- 1:31:27Speaker 9: father until they left this world, and I honored them
- 1:31:30Speaker 9: to this day. Because you can't say nothing about ILOs
- 1:31:33Speaker 9: Villa Harvey, not to me and not to my brothers.
- 1:31:36Speaker 9: You can't open your mouth about it, and she been
- 1:31:39Speaker 9: gone twenty eight years. Say somebody and see what happened.
- 1:31:45Speaker 2: In the words of all the young people on site,
- 1:31:49Speaker 2: on site, make it right with your mother.
- 1:31:52Speaker 9: Happy Mother's Day, all the mother's out there, and we
- 1:31:54Speaker 9: all he owe all of you our life and thank
- 1:31:57Speaker 9: you for giving it to us. Those our clothes remarks today. Hey,
