- 1:46Speaker 6: away the money up. Come come on you.
- 1:59Speaker 3: Think, uh huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody. You're
- 2:05Speaker 3: listening to the voice, come on, dig me now for it.
- 2:09Speaker 3: Only Steve Harvey got a radio show man instead of
- 2:13Speaker 3: trying to be about the business. To y'all, I'm doing
- 2:17Speaker 3: all I can. But you know what's crazy in the
- 2:21Speaker 3: efforts that I make, I can do more. When my
- 2:27Speaker 3: father used to tell me something when I was growing up,
- 2:29Speaker 3: he says, son, when you've done your best, and you've
- 2:35Speaker 3: done all you can, sit still for a second and
- 2:41Speaker 3: just do a little bit more. Always remember that, he said.
- 2:45Speaker 3: When you've done the best you can and you can
- 2:47Speaker 3: done all you can think of, he say, sit still
- 2:50Speaker 3: for a minute and do some more. And you know
- 2:53Speaker 3: what I've discovered in my life, always have a little more.
- 2:56Speaker 2: I ain't ever just.
- 2:57Speaker 3: Out out complete. I can't take another step. There ain't
- 3:02Speaker 3: another breath in me. Ain't another thought I can produce.
- 3:07Speaker 3: I'm never completely out, man. Just take a rest for
- 3:10Speaker 3: a minute, man, and then just do a little bit more.
- 3:15Speaker 3: And I can't tell you how many times that's helped
- 3:18Speaker 3: me get over the top. You know, I was watching
- 3:22Speaker 3: a documentary about people climbing Mount Everest and how difficult
- 3:26Speaker 3: climbing Mount Everest was, and how they have on the
- 3:30Speaker 3: hill something called like a death zone or a killing zone,
- 3:34Speaker 3: where the majority of people run out of oxygen and
- 3:37Speaker 3: they have to turn back.
- 3:39Speaker 2: Well, what's crazy is it's right in view of the summit.
- 3:45Speaker 3: You can actually see the top of Mount Everest from there,
- 3:49Speaker 3: but it's that little bit that's left that's just most difficult. Now,
- 3:54Speaker 3: I forgot all the reasons why they said most people
- 3:56Speaker 3: don't make it from there, and more people have lost
- 3:59Speaker 3: their lives that area. I don't know what it is,
- 4:02Speaker 3: but the people that make it to the top of
- 4:06Speaker 3: Mount efforts. They all had to go through that same
- 4:09Speaker 3: zone of that same area, but they had a little
- 4:14Speaker 3: bit more that allowed them to get to the top.
- 4:18Speaker 3: You know, a lot of people have had accidents up
- 4:20Speaker 3: there trying that. So I'm not even really sure if
- 4:22Speaker 3: Mount Everest. Analogy is a good one, but let's just
- 4:27Speaker 3: break it down a little bit more. Let's just talk
- 4:29Speaker 3: about life. There's a poem I learned back when I
- 4:34Speaker 3: was pledging. It's called don't Quit. It goes like this,
- 4:37Speaker 3: If I make a mistake, I'm just trying to drum
- 4:40Speaker 3: it up, So here we go. It says, when things
- 4:42Speaker 3: go wrong, as they sometimes will, when the road you're
- 4:45Speaker 3: trudging seems all uphill, when your funds are low and
- 4:50Speaker 3: your debts are high, when you want to smile, but
- 4:54Speaker 3: you have to sigh when cares are pressing you down.
- 4:58Speaker 3: A bit, rest if you must, but don't quit. For
- 5:03Speaker 3: life is queer with his twist and turns, as every
- 5:06Speaker 3: one of us must sometimes learn. And many a fellow
- 5:10Speaker 3: has turned about when he might have won had he
- 5:14Speaker 3: stuck it out. So don't give up. Though the pace
- 5:17Speaker 3: seems slow, you may succeed with another blow. Often the
- 5:23Speaker 3: gold is nearer than it seems to a faint and
- 5:27Speaker 3: a faltering man. And often the struggler has given up
- 5:32Speaker 3: when he might have captured the victor's cup, and he
- 5:35Speaker 3: learns too late, when the night came down, how close
- 5:39Speaker 3: he was to the golden crown. Success is failure turned
- 5:45Speaker 3: inside out. It's your silver tin of your clouds of doubt,
- 5:50Speaker 3: and you never can tell how close you are. It
- 5:54Speaker 3: may be nil when it seems afar, So stick to
- 5:58Speaker 3: the fight when your hardest hit. It's when things seem
- 6:03Speaker 3: worse that you mustn't quit. I remember it because I
- 6:07Speaker 3: had a special method of helping you remember stuff back then.
- 6:10Speaker 3: But I remembered it, and that poem right there has
- 6:14Speaker 3: kept me. You know, we often talk about scripture and everything,
- 6:18Speaker 3: and I don't see how I could live without it.
- 6:21Speaker 3: But every now and then, man, somebody has a writing.
- 6:24Speaker 3: God puts a writing on somebody's heart that delivers a message.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Man, that can help people.
- 6:29Speaker 3: I use every motivational tool that I possibly can to
- 6:33Speaker 3: climb this letter of success or try to be the
- 6:35Speaker 3: best father and the best husband I can be. I've
- 6:37Speaker 3: done a lot of changing over the years, and so
- 6:40Speaker 3: have you. But change is necessary in order to grow.
- 6:43Speaker 3: If you don't make changes, folks, you can't grow. I
- 6:46Speaker 3: was a young man on my set. I kept looking
- 6:50Speaker 3: at him, Man, a sharp little young dude just on
- 6:52Speaker 3: my set, and he had these dreads, and I mean
- 6:57Speaker 3: they was super long. Man, they will well below the
- 7:02Speaker 3: middle of his back. I mean, it was just long.
- 7:04Speaker 3: And he kept talking to me, and he kept talking
- 7:06Speaker 3: to me and talking to me. So young man kept
- 7:09Speaker 3: talking to me, and I said, hey, man, you know
- 7:11Speaker 3: you do your a huge self a favor in the
- 7:13Speaker 3: business you're in. If you got a haircut, you would
- 7:16Speaker 3: do yourself a huge favor. I said, your image is everything. Man,
- 7:20Speaker 3: I said, you keep stopping me in the hallway to
- 7:21Speaker 3: try to tell me what you're doing, what you are,
- 7:24Speaker 3: but all I see is your hair. Now, I keep
- 7:26Speaker 3: trying to figure out what you're doing with all that hair. Man,
- 7:29Speaker 3: Now you can feel how you want to feel. But
- 7:31Speaker 3: I'm like an employer. I employed people. So when I'm
- 7:36Speaker 3: walking through the hallway and I try to think of
- 7:38Speaker 3: you traveling with me and you sitting in a meeting
- 7:40Speaker 3: with me, I try to imagine you and your suit
- 7:43Speaker 3: sitting there talking business with me. And so, just like
- 7:46Speaker 3: other employers are, I'm just having a real story with you.
- 7:50Speaker 3: So I said, man, you ought to consider cutting your hair.
- 7:53Speaker 3: He said, Man, mister Harve, I've been growing his hair.
- 7:56Speaker 3: So I as a little boy, I said, how old
- 7:58Speaker 3: are you now? He said twenty eight? I said, well,
- 8:01Speaker 3: how long you want to hang on to what you
- 8:03Speaker 3: was when you was a little boy? You know, if
- 8:05Speaker 3: you started growing your hair when you're a teenager. I
- 8:07Speaker 3: mean you're twenty eight now, will And I said, so
- 8:10Speaker 3: let me help you understand something. Let me let me
- 8:12Speaker 3: ask you something. What does it do for you? He said, Man,
- 8:16Speaker 3: it's just who I am. I said, so you your hair?
- 8:21Speaker 3: He said no, No, But it's a part of me.
- 8:24Speaker 3: I said, that part of you that you're hanging on to.
- 8:27Speaker 2: What does it do for you? I just like it? Well, dog,
- 8:32Speaker 2: I like ice cream, but I feed that.
- 8:34Speaker 3: But if I hang on ice cream and eat ice
- 8:36Speaker 3: cream every single day, my body gonna reflect that. What
- 8:40Speaker 3: is it that you hanging on to that you don't
- 8:43Speaker 3: want to let go of? That's prohibiting you from being
- 8:45Speaker 3: what all you can be? See, it's hard to be
- 8:48Speaker 3: what all you can be if you want to keep
- 8:50Speaker 3: being all you was? Don't that make sense to you?
- 8:55Speaker 3: So I can't tell you how many times I've had
- 8:57Speaker 3: to change. Change is necessary to grow. You can't be
- 9:03Speaker 3: all you can be if you want to keep hanging
- 9:07Speaker 3: on to all you was. That don't make no sense.
- 9:11Speaker 2: How do you go forward? If you keep going backwards.
- 9:15Speaker 2: You can't stay here and go there.
- 9:18Speaker 4: Do you understand that.
- 9:20Speaker 3: If you want to go over there you must remove
- 9:24Speaker 3: yourself from right here?
- 9:26Speaker 2: Oh?
- 9:27Speaker 3: I got right here is comfortable. I got right here
- 9:30Speaker 3: is safe. But over there's where the shade is. Over
- 9:34Speaker 3: There's where the fruit is. Over there is where the
- 9:38Speaker 3: opportunity is. Over there is where the mountain of goal is.
- 9:42Speaker 3: So why you stuck on here? You got to leave
- 9:46Speaker 3: here to go over there. You can't be all you
- 9:49Speaker 3: can be if you want to stay stuck on who
- 9:52Speaker 3: you was. Change is growth is necessary. All let's go.
- 9:59Speaker 2: Show, ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:03Speaker 3: The time has come another day, another opportunity to another blessing,
- 10:08Speaker 3: another load off my mind. You know what when I
- 10:11Speaker 3: lay down at night to load off my mind as
- 10:13Speaker 3: I woke.
- 10:14Speaker 2: Up, whoo, who never could have made that?
- 10:20Speaker 1: You know, you're just what's not?
- 10:22Speaker 4: Stop saying you're just messed out?
- 10:24Speaker 3: Just Steve Arbret Morter Show, Shelty Strawberry calling for real
- 10:32Speaker 3: Mississippi Monica Junior and me, nephew Tim, he's out today, Junior.
- 10:36Speaker 3: What's on your mind today?
- 10:38Speaker 7: Man?
- 10:38Speaker 5: Some uncle?
- 10:39Speaker 8: You know I've got to understand some of the things
- 10:42Speaker 8: My wife be doing on. I just don't do it sometimes, you.
- 10:46Speaker 5: Know, I don't.
- 10:46Speaker 8: I don't understand everything she'd be doing, you know, like
- 10:49Speaker 8: you know, like come in there just when I'm watching
- 10:52Speaker 8: TV and just start talking loud, like forget out watching
- 10:54Speaker 8: the game.
- 10:55Speaker 4: You know, don't even say I think they can do
- 10:57Speaker 4: to all of this.
- 10:59Speaker 7: This is nothing.
- 10:59Speaker 4: You know, turn turn turn, turn the hot water off
- 11:03Speaker 4: when I'm in the shower. You know, just stuff you be. Oh,
- 11:05Speaker 4: I didn't know you was in there.
- 11:06Speaker 2: This a lot, this a lot, it's a lot this week.
- 11:09Speaker 3: Wait a minute. Just don't understand that I got talking.
- 11:13Speaker 3: You want to stick her hand in that shower and
- 11:14Speaker 3: cut that?
- 11:15Speaker 4: Yeah when she thought that, well, I wasn't in there
- 11:16Speaker 4: because you're on the phone.
- 11:17Speaker 3: I think now how she ain't thank you? She heard
- 11:20Speaker 3: the water bunny, Junior, you got sick of self, your
- 11:23Speaker 3: wife come in there and cut the hot water on.
- 11:25Speaker 2: That's all.
- 11:27Speaker 8: It's all cold water, but you just turn it off.
- 11:29Speaker 8: I'm just saying, I'm in here like she ain't paying attention.
- 11:33Speaker 4: It's just stuff.
- 11:35Speaker 2: Well, Junior Quentin trying to figure her out.
- 11:45Speaker 7: You're not.
- 11:48Speaker 2: You don't understand you you have a male mind. She
- 11:51Speaker 2: got a female mind.
- 11:52Speaker 3: Your mind is incapable, and there's no man that's capable
- 11:57Speaker 3: of figuring out the female mind.
- 12:00Speaker 2: Bruh.
- 12:00Speaker 3: If I could figure that out and could write a book,
- 12:02Speaker 3: do you know how much money I would make?
- 12:05Speaker 2: Hell, they read it. Yeah, they won't know they no, no,
- 12:10Speaker 2: they don't know. It just is with them.
- 12:15Speaker 3: I see. There's nothing wrong with women, according to what
- 12:19Speaker 3: see right now. No, I'm talking to Junior. I'm trying
- 12:25Speaker 3: to talk to them like y'all ain't sitting there.
- 12:31Speaker 4: I got it, that's okay, No, you don't have it.
- 12:34Speaker 3: Go ahead, Carl.
- 12:35Speaker 1: So I was just trying to so you was in
- 12:37Speaker 1: the shower, Yeah, and she was on the phone.
- 12:40Speaker 4: Yeah, girl, and didn't turn it off.
- 12:44Speaker 3: Junior, that wasn't an accident. Now I'm trying to tell
- 12:47Speaker 3: the stuff his cases. You know this, this hain't been
- 12:51Speaker 3: tempted to throw your ass into a crisis, is what
- 12:57Speaker 3: this is. You know, you're watch a TV. Listen, why
- 13:03Speaker 3: get your answer that hospital? And I've been watching a TV.
- 13:06Speaker 2: I won't you know, I'm kind of feeling that.
- 13:12Speaker 4: You don't want me in the hospital. That's not what
- 13:15Speaker 4: you want.
- 13:15Speaker 3: You don't want me in that Okay, Well, if your
- 13:18Speaker 3: wife cut all your hot water off? Why are you
- 13:20Speaker 3: taking a shower? Who don't hear that shower? But she
- 13:22Speaker 3: thought the shower was just in the running. But why
- 13:25Speaker 3: is she cut off both nozzles?
- 13:27Speaker 1: All right, well, I guess we're gonna have to revisit
- 13:29Speaker 1: this because.
- 13:31Speaker 2: First or tenth I've had a couple of whiles coming up.
- 13:34Speaker 1: In thirty after the hour, the nephews out, Junior's in
- 13:38Speaker 1: for the nephew would run that rank back right after this.
- 13:42Speaker 1: You're listening morning show, the nephews out and Junior is
- 13:47Speaker 1: in with the run that prank back for today? What
- 13:49Speaker 1: you got for his Junior?
- 13:50Speaker 4: The plumber run it cap?
- 13:53Speaker 2: Hello, Yeah, I'm trying to reach you, mister. You please missus?
- 13:58Speaker 2: How you doing?
- 13:59Speaker 9: You?
- 13:59Speaker 2: You the person that does the plumbing work?
- 14:01Speaker 3: Am I?
- 14:01Speaker 2: Right?
- 14:02Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 14:02Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 14:03Speaker 2: Now my wife got some work done for you. You
- 14:06Speaker 2: come by the house. Now do you know? I know
- 14:09Speaker 2: you probably got quite a bit of work.
- 14:12Speaker 5: Well, I do so many throughout the day. So I
- 14:15Speaker 5: have it on my receiver here I can look at
- 14:17Speaker 5: over here.
- 14:18Speaker 2: About three days ago at a street.
- 14:22Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, yeah, I can recall was a lady there.
- 14:25Speaker 2: Yeah, it was a toilet was backed up and was overflowing.
- 14:30Speaker 5: And yeah, yeah, yeah, I can recall it, and.
- 14:32Speaker 2: That something was wrong with the sink in there too,
- 14:35Speaker 2: and that that had a leak in the back of it.
- 14:38Speaker 5: Yeah, I had a leak in the back, and I've
- 14:39Speaker 5: done that. I fixed that there for you.
- 14:41Speaker 8: And uh.
- 14:42Speaker 10: I took that toilet that had around the bottom of
- 14:45Speaker 10: your base the toilet based there. I had to take
- 14:48Speaker 10: that up and retape it so that tape had came
- 14:51Speaker 10: came loose.
- 14:51Speaker 2: It was kind of old.
- 14:52Speaker 10: And I, you know, went through that and done all
- 14:54Speaker 10: that and and saving it up and sealed it up,
- 14:57Speaker 10: and I rebased that sealed back there on.
- 14:59Speaker 5: Your and the tilet and and your sink had a
- 15:01Speaker 5: little leak back there in the back. I fixed it
- 15:04Speaker 5: because you know, that was real easy.
- 15:05Speaker 10: Now.
- 15:06Speaker 7: So well, no, see that something went wrong with that tarlet.
- 15:11Speaker 7: Now did you did you put another pipe or something
- 15:15Speaker 7: that you reroute up pipe or anything?
- 15:17Speaker 2: No?
- 15:17Speaker 5: No, Like I said, all I did, I took the
- 15:19Speaker 5: base of it off there, and I taped it up
- 15:22Speaker 5: where that old tape there, and then I put me
- 15:24Speaker 5: some cement with h with my pipe there and and
- 15:28Speaker 5: I sealed it all up, and I checked it out
- 15:30Speaker 5: and lady drive and see if it leaked, and it
- 15:32Speaker 5: didn't leak, and I put your base back on and
- 15:35Speaker 5: you know, and then then I then you had a
- 15:37Speaker 5: little leak there in your sink, and that was on
- 15:40Speaker 5: the top of the uh, the nozzle there, and I
- 15:43Speaker 5: fixed that.
- 15:44Speaker 7: I'm gonna tell you because I'm gonna be honest with
- 15:47Speaker 7: you and tell you I'm not happy with what I got.
- 15:49Speaker 10: You're not happy with it.
- 15:51Speaker 2: No, Now, let me tell you what's happening. Now.
- 15:54Speaker 7: Say somebody in the bathroom and they flushed that tilet
- 15:58Speaker 7: right right when they flushed that tar tarlet come out
- 16:01Speaker 7: the sink in the kitchen.
- 16:03Speaker 5: Oh tell me that, Tell me that. Say that what
- 16:05Speaker 5: you did again?
- 16:06Speaker 7: I said, when they flush the toilet in the bathroom, right,
- 16:11Speaker 7: come out to shank in the kitchen.
- 16:13Speaker 2: I don't know what how you routed something like you
- 16:15Speaker 2: you didn't misrouted or something.
- 16:16Speaker 5: No, I didn't. I didn't route anything. All I did
- 16:19Speaker 5: was fix the I put the tape on there, so
- 16:22Speaker 5: I fixed the leap that was you know, your uh,
- 16:25Speaker 5: it's a base of your tilet. I didn't reroute anything.
- 16:28Speaker 3: I don't.
- 16:28Speaker 7: I don't.
- 16:28Speaker 5: I don't understand. How can you you reroute a fight.
- 16:32Speaker 2: I don't that's a fight.
- 16:34Speaker 5: To go into your kitchen and shoot, we'll shoot crap
- 16:38Speaker 5: out of your kitchen like that.
- 16:39Speaker 7: I don't know what what what you did when you
- 16:42Speaker 7: was up under there and how you re routed something,
- 16:44Speaker 7: but that's what happened. And it's got It's got is
- 16:46Speaker 7: going from the from that bathroom when you flushed that
- 16:49Speaker 7: Tarlet it come out in my sink in my kitchen.
- 16:52Speaker 2: Now, what's bad about it is this morning I'm.
- 16:54Speaker 5: In there cooking and what what what's your name again?
- 16:58Speaker 2: My name is?
- 16:59Speaker 1: They call me?
- 17:00Speaker 5: Okay? And cramp is coming out of your your fumming.
- 17:03Speaker 3: In your in my in my kitchen.
- 17:05Speaker 7: Now, this morning I set out some red beans and
- 17:08Speaker 7: rice to cook and I put my beans on that
- 17:10Speaker 7: not I've been cooking.
- 17:12Speaker 3: I've been cooking all No, I'm.
- 17:13Speaker 5: Trying to be professional about this because you know, I
- 17:15Speaker 5: guarantee my work. I've been doing this over twenty years
- 17:17Speaker 5: and the one thing I do, I guarantee my work.
- 17:20Speaker 5: And I'm real proud about the thing that you know
- 17:22Speaker 5: I do. But what what did you have anybody else
- 17:25Speaker 5: over there working on your pipe?
- 17:27Speaker 2: Ain't nobody you in your kitchen.
- 17:29Speaker 5: You know what I did was your bathroom.
- 17:31Speaker 7: You the room.
- 17:32Speaker 5: The bathroom don't have anything to do with your kitchen,
- 17:36Speaker 5: that floor, a pipe, have anything to do with one
- 17:38Speaker 5: or other other.
- 17:39Speaker 2: Then explain that coming through my sink in my kitchen.
- 17:42Speaker 5: I can't explain it coming from your your sink. I
- 17:46Speaker 5: can only explain that's in the toilet in your sink.
- 17:49Speaker 2: I have no idea. I'm gonna listen because this thing
- 17:52Speaker 2: got me wrapped up. Listen now what it is that?
- 17:54Speaker 5: Well, you got me trying to rap up here because
- 17:56Speaker 5: you know, like I said, I do this here and
- 17:58Speaker 5: I've been doing it for twenty years, and that's the
- 18:00Speaker 5: first time I ever heard anything like that being happened.
- 18:03Speaker 5: I ain't never seen it.

- 27:04Speaker 1: never cheat on his queen. How could he tell me that?

- 27:15Speaker 2: You was second? Yeah, she's gone her feeling hard to go.

- 28:51Speaker 1: You're listening morning show. So everyone over the weekend was
- 28:58Speaker 1: glued to their TVs for Where Is Wendy Williams documentary,
- 29:02Speaker 1: which is really hard to watch. I don't know if
- 29:05Speaker 1: you guys had time to watch it, but it was hard.
- 29:08Speaker 1: It's cooled at your heartstrings. Viewers have called the documentary
- 29:13Speaker 1: on settling and think Wendy is being exploited, and reportedly
- 29:17Speaker 1: Wendy has progressive aphasia and frontal temporal dementia. I think
- 29:23Speaker 1: they liken this to what Bruce Willis is going through,
- 29:27Speaker 1: and she also has Graves disease and lymphedema. All of
- 29:32Speaker 1: Wendy's health issues and her personal issues were uncovered in
- 29:35Speaker 1: the two part documentary that aired Saturday and Sunday nights.
- 29:39Speaker 1: Social media commenters are, for the most part, asking for
- 29:42Speaker 1: Wendy's family to be allowed to advocate for her so
- 29:45Speaker 1: she can get the best healthcare as well as treatment
- 29:48Speaker 1: for her alcohol addiction. And I definitely hope she gets
- 29:53Speaker 1: some help in this situation because that is really hard
- 29:56Speaker 1: to watch. It's hard to very I feel her.
- 30:02Speaker 2: I didn't see it, but you know, I don't. I
- 30:03Speaker 2: don't wish ill on anybody, No, of course not.
- 30:06Speaker 3: I just don't. That's not that's not the person I am.
- 30:09Speaker 3: I don't wish ill on anybody. So, but I didn't
- 30:13Speaker 3: watch it. It's not card.
- 30:15Speaker 1: It wasn't around, especially because we all knew.
- 30:19Speaker 2: Everyone talking about exploitation.
- 30:22Speaker 3: But you got you got to sign this stuff and
- 30:24Speaker 3: you got to sit there and do these interviews that
- 30:26Speaker 3: this was done for money.
- 30:27Speaker 1: Now you know, So I don't think anything out of it.
- 30:32Speaker 2: Well why not?
- 30:35Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know. But the thing it's she
- 30:38Speaker 1: may be I don't know, but I don't. Her family
- 30:40Speaker 1: definitely didn't want the documentary.
- 30:42Speaker 2: Is she talking on it?
- 30:44Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 30:44Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, she's talking on it.
- 30:45Speaker 2: You got to sign a consent for him.
- 30:47Speaker 3: You. They can't put you on any of this without
- 30:50Speaker 3: a consent form. You have to have a consent for.
- 30:57Speaker 2: The actual consent.
- 30:59Speaker 1: Do you think that they're saying taking advantage of her?
- 31:03Speaker 3: Okay, but can I tell you this in television, if
- 31:06Speaker 3: this woman is not fit, you cannot air her like that.
- 31:11Speaker 3: That that you're setting yourself up for a lawsuit. To
- 31:14Speaker 3: the ump degree. If this woman is sitting there and
- 31:19Speaker 3: you're airing her and her words and her image and
- 31:21Speaker 3: likeness without her consent. They can't get her consent from
- 31:26Speaker 3: somebody else, especially if you're thinking that she's being exploited.
- 31:29Speaker 3: Do you know the lawsuit that is girl, if a
- 31:32Speaker 3: lawyer got any sense that's hearing this and this had
- 31:36Speaker 3: truth to it, the lawsuit somebody Wendy can old I think.
- 31:41Speaker 1: There was a lawsuit filed on Friday and her from
- 31:45Speaker 1: her guardian.
- 31:46Speaker 2: If somebody is exploiting this this sister, that lawsuit is.
- 31:56Speaker 1: Definitely and seven. Also over the weekend, Steve Tyler perry
- 32:00Speaker 1: new film Mia Culpa, which starred Kelly Rowland, premier to
- 32:04Speaker 1: mixed reviews. Uh mea Culpa is a thriller, and Kelly
- 32:07Speaker 1: Rowland plays a criminal defense attorney that is representing an
- 32:11Speaker 1: artist that is accused of killing his girlfriend. Tyler Perry wrote, directed,
- 32:15Speaker 1: and produced the movie. Kelly Roland did an outstanding job
- 32:20Speaker 1: as the attorney. Did you guys see it?
- 32:23Speaker 7: So? Yeah?
- 32:23Speaker 4: I watched her?
- 32:24Speaker 1: Yeah, I watch What did you think? Kelly Rowland?
- 32:28Speaker 9: She did her thing, She did her thing, She looked beautiful,
- 32:32Speaker 9: she was acting her first lead role.
- 32:36Speaker 1: It's a grown grown up movie. Second key, what is
- 32:41Speaker 1: going on, Kelly very steamy sex scene Tyler Berry woman, Yeah, yes,
- 32:51Speaker 1: after that, she deserves her own dressing room, the biggest
- 32:53Speaker 1: one they have. Okay, it was a lot going on.
- 32:57Speaker 9: It was a paint, yes, hot wax, paint, candles and
- 33:05Speaker 9: all of it. Yeah, and I was clutching by pearls,
- 33:10Speaker 9: roller deskness shack ll.
- 33:14Speaker 2: That's good. I'm happy for her, you know.
- 33:17Speaker 1: Congratulations yet again to Tyler Perry.
- 33:20Speaker 2: Yep, yep, yeah all yeah.
- 33:23Speaker 1: So moving on with more on Tyler Perry now. Tyler
- 33:27Speaker 1: has reportedly halted plans indefinitely for an eight hundred million
- 33:31Speaker 1: dollar expansion of the Tyler Perry Studios just outside of
- 33:34Speaker 1: Atlanta after he saw a demonstration of how artificial intelligence
- 33:38Speaker 1: can help his production crew build images by simple text prompts.
- 33:43Speaker 1: Tyler told the Hollywood Reporter quote, being that it can
- 33:47Speaker 1: do all of these things is one thing, but actually
- 33:50Speaker 1: seeing the capabilities it was mind blowing. Tyler did express
- 33:55Speaker 1: concerns over the fact that his new AI technology, this
- 33:59Speaker 1: new AI technology could potentially put a lot of people
- 34:03Speaker 1: out of work, a lot of crew hands out of
- 34:05Speaker 1: a job. So, Steve, I got to ask you, what
- 34:08Speaker 1: are your thoughts about AI replacing humans to do work?
- 34:11Speaker 1: What do you think about that?
- 34:13Speaker 3: They've been heading this way for a while, you know,
- 34:16Speaker 3: I mean you're looking at it. Uh, they're gonna use
- 34:19Speaker 3: it to do a lot of Uh they're gonna use
- 34:22Speaker 3: it to do a lot of destructive things too, because
- 34:25Speaker 3: if we live in a fallen world, they're they're already.
- 34:28Speaker 3: I'm telling you what YouTube is doing with these black
- 34:31Speaker 3: celebrities and AI targeting, and you know YouTube talking about
- 34:35Speaker 3: it's just on the platform. It's not them. You're allowing it.
- 34:38Speaker 3: What you know, people kill me, man, like you know,
- 34:41Speaker 3: you give them. You know that there's an AI system
- 34:45Speaker 3: into discredit black celebrities, but you put it on YouTube.
- 34:49Speaker 2: But you say that ain't us.
- 34:50Speaker 3: Well, you're the one airing it, you know, somebody comes
- 34:57Speaker 3: come on, man, Yeah, that's got to he's some form
- 35:00Speaker 3: of accountability if you knowing allow people on your streaming
- 35:06Speaker 3: platform and they do evil with it, Come on, man.
- 35:09Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 35:10Speaker 2: But but you know that's America. Freedom of speech and
- 35:13Speaker 2: all like that.
- 35:14Speaker 3: But it's Tyler's on top of it and watching it
- 35:16Speaker 3: as we should, all right, Television is changing, man, It's changing.
- 35:20Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, thank you, Steve. Coming up in twenty
- 35:23Speaker 1: minutes after a Fox News panelist suggests that Donald Trump
- 35:27Speaker 1: has gained more Black voters by selling sneakers because guess what,
- 35:31Speaker 1: Black people love sneakers. We'll get into that, find out
- 35:34Speaker 1: what that's all about. Right after this, you're listening Hard
- 35:38Speaker 1: Morning show. On Fox's The Big Weekend Show, panelist Raymond
- 35:43Speaker 1: de Royo stated that by Trump releasing his new never
- 35:46Speaker 1: Surrender Sneakers, Steve, get a load of this, he won
- 35:50Speaker 1: over a lot of Black voters. Take a listen. It's
- 35:53Speaker 1: just connecting with Black America because they love sneakers.
- 35:56Speaker 11: They're inter sneakers, they love the you know, there's a
- 35:58Speaker 11: big deal, certainly in the inner city.
- 36:00Speaker 1: So when you have Trump roll out his sneaker line,

- 45:26Speaker 7: My name is Daniel. I'm the head of store security
- 45:29Speaker 7: here at your job.
- 45:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 45:31Speaker 7: Uh listen, I'm trying to see I'm gonna have to
- 45:35Speaker 7: I know, today's your day off. I'm looking at the
- 45:37Speaker 7: schedule here. It seems that you don't come back in
- 45:38Speaker 7: until Saturday. I'm trying to see if it's possible I
- 45:42Speaker 7: can get you to come to the store. There's a
- 45:43Speaker 7: bit of a situation I want to discuss with you.
- 45:46Speaker 7: There's about eighteen hundred dollars worth of merchandise missing from
- 45:50Speaker 7: the store. Yeah, it's about eighteen hundred dollars worth of merchandise.
- 45:55Speaker 7: And we definitely know that this is a in house situation.
- 45:59Speaker 7: This is not so one walking in shoplifting. This is
- 46:02Speaker 7: definitely an in house situation with employees who have evidently
- 46:07Speaker 7: been shoplifting from the store, taking things, and we want
- 46:10Speaker 7: to get down to the to the roots of the problem. Okay,
- 46:13Speaker 7: so what you call well, ma'am, it's it's been brought
- 46:18Speaker 7: to my attention that there's a possibility that you may
- 46:20Speaker 7: be part of this situation.
- 46:24Speaker 13: And the situation I ain't no thief, I don't steal.
- 46:29Speaker 13: You don't call my house accusing me of still I
- 46:32Speaker 13: ain't still nothing from nobody.
- 46:34Speaker 2: Okay, well, my hang on, man, what I'm trying to
- 46:36Speaker 2: do is just trying to.

- 46:45Speaker 2: sister named Cynthia?
- 46:47Speaker 13: Yeah, what about it?
- 46:48Speaker 2: Well, now, it seems that here on some of.
- 46:50Speaker 7: The footage that we have on camera that uh, it's
- 46:54Speaker 7: a possibility that it seems like your sister's actually wearing
- 46:57Speaker 7: some of the merchandise that we sell here in the store.
- 47:01Speaker 13: Okay, just because she wears something that we sell in
- 47:04Speaker 13: the store, don't mean that I've stolen.
- 47:06Speaker 7: Well, we don't see where she's at. I've backed the
- 47:10Speaker 7: footage up as far as I could. I don't see
- 47:12Speaker 7: any footage of where she purchased this particular merchandise. And
- 47:16Speaker 7: my assumption is maybe you gave it to her.
- 47:19Speaker 9: I ain't gave her.
- 47:21Speaker 13: And just because you don't see where somebody purchased it,
- 47:23Speaker 13: don't mean that it's been stolen.
- 47:25Speaker 7: Okay, here's what I'm gonna get. I'm gonna just get
- 47:28Speaker 7: to the chase of this, Tanya. What I'm gonna have
- 47:30Speaker 7: to do is this if I can't get you to
- 47:33Speaker 7: come to the store, ma'am. And matter of fact, here's
- 47:36Speaker 7: another question for you before I go any further. You
- 47:38Speaker 7: have children at all, Tanya?
- 47:40Speaker 13: Yeah, I got children?
- 47:41Speaker 7: Why do you Is it possible because I'm missing a
- 47:44Speaker 7: lot of baby merchandise as well, And you know.
- 47:48Speaker 13: What, you know what you really cruising for this morning? Okay,
- 47:53Speaker 13: because you don't call somebody on the off they accusing

- 53:12Speaker 8: It could be ladies and Gentlemen's time for the Strawberry
- 53:14Speaker 8: Letter with my good friend Shirley Strawberry.
- 53:17Speaker 1: Thank you, my good friend Junior. Subject, clear the room
- 53:21Speaker 1: before we start. Clear the room before we start. Dear Stephen, Shirley,
- 53:26Speaker 1: I'm in love with a man that's dramatic and very
- 53:29Speaker 1: high strong. He overreacts in everything he does. Whenever he's driving,
- 53:34Speaker 1: he swerves all over the place to avoid potholes potholes,
- 53:38Speaker 1: and he swings out to make right turns. It gets
- 53:41Speaker 1: on my last nerve, but it's also entertaining. You ought
- 53:44Speaker 1: to hear him gossiping when he talks to his mama.
- 53:47Speaker 1: When I hear him say oh nah, I know they
- 53:51Speaker 1: will be added for a while. The funniest part of
- 53:53Speaker 1: our marriage is how he acts in the bedroom. I
- 53:56Speaker 1: have to clear the room before we start. We will
- 54:00Speaker 1: knock over anything on the night stands. He throws pillows
- 54:04Speaker 1: and anything else he can put his hands on. He
- 54:07Speaker 1: acts like I am the best woman he's ever been
- 54:09Speaker 1: with in his entire forty two years of life. Our
- 54:13Speaker 1: children used to ask us about the noise when they
- 54:16Speaker 1: were younger, and it got to the point where we
- 54:18Speaker 1: had to turn the TV up in our room so
- 54:20Speaker 1: we didn't disturb them. Last weekend, we have the house
- 54:24Speaker 1: all to ourselves and we had a lot of good sex.
- 54:27Speaker 1: But this man tried to put a pillow over my
- 54:29Speaker 1: face and he bashed me in the head with the
- 54:32Speaker 1: TV remote. Everything started so quick, and I didn't realize
- 54:36Speaker 1: the remote was in the bed. My teenager came home
- 54:39Speaker 1: and saw the bandaid above my eye and asked if
- 54:42Speaker 1: Daddy had hit me. Well, technically he did hit me,
- 54:46Speaker 1: but not one purpose. My best friend thinks my husband
- 54:49Speaker 1: is abusing me at times, and I'm making excuses for him.
- 54:53Speaker 1: But the choking and biting are minor, and the marks
- 54:55Speaker 1: don't last long. What if my best friend is right though,
- 54:59Speaker 1: is his behavior excessive?
- 55:01Speaker 7: Well?
- 55:01Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean this is kind of wild and kind
- 55:04Speaker 1: of crazy. I'm sure you look more like you've been
- 55:07Speaker 1: in a rough fight than getting busy with your husband.
- 55:10Speaker 1: You're not supposed to come out of an intimate session
- 55:13Speaker 1: with your husband and have visible scars on your face,
- 55:18Speaker 1: so I would say this is definitely excessive on his part.
- 55:22Speaker 1: I don't think he's trying to kill you or anything
- 55:24Speaker 1: like that. I just think thinks that's the way he is.
- 55:27Speaker 1: He's wild, loud, crazy, like you say, knocking things over
- 55:30Speaker 1: and hitting you in the head and stuff. You only
- 55:33Speaker 1: seem to question it or complain about it, though when
- 55:35Speaker 1: someone else mentions it, you know, I say to that
- 55:39Speaker 1: at least they are concerned about you and not just
- 55:42Speaker 1: trying to get to be nosy or anything. So yes,
- 55:45Speaker 1: I believe it's best to clear the room definitely before
- 55:48Speaker 1: you guys go on this roller coaster ride you call sex,
- 55:52Speaker 1: because he might break something else next time, and he
- 55:55Speaker 1: might injure injure you for real next time. I mean,
- 55:59Speaker 1: at least you know you all are having sex and
- 56:02Speaker 1: it's fun. I guess a lot of good sex, you say,
- 56:06Speaker 1: but oh, you gotta be careful in there. It's like
- 56:09Speaker 1: a war zoned Steve.
- 56:11Speaker 3: She's married to the man. That's dramatic. I was struggling
- 56:16Speaker 3: with the beginning of the letter. He overrecking everything he does.
- 56:21Speaker 3: He swerves all over the place when he driving to
- 56:25Speaker 3: avoid potholes. So they live up north and he swings
- 56:29Speaker 3: out to make right turns. I have a prediction he
- 56:32Speaker 3: gonna tell y'all, cob all this swerving and swinging out
- 56:37Speaker 3: far right, making right turn he gonna tell your cob
- 56:40Speaker 3: y'all ain't gonna y'all, y'all ain't gonna be able to
- 56:42Speaker 3: get no insurance in a minute, she said, get on
- 56:46Speaker 3: her last nerve. But it's also entertaining. Well, see, lady,
- 56:50Speaker 3: I don't know you. I'm starting to learn something about
- 56:53Speaker 3: you throughout this letter. You kind of up for the
- 56:56Speaker 3: little wild ride. How the hell is swerve and swinging
- 57:00Speaker 3: far right? How that's how that's entertaining? Okay, but that's you.
- 57:04Speaker 3: That's why you married him. Well.
- 57:07Speaker 2: Uh, then he gossip on his phone with his mama.
- 57:09Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 57:10Speaker 3: I know they're gonna be at it for a while.
- 57:11Speaker 3: The funniest thing in our marriage is how he acts
- 57:14Speaker 3: in the bedroom. I have to clear the room before
- 57:18Speaker 3: we start. Well, that's nothing new. I like a clear
- 57:21Speaker 3: room when I'm in there too. I don't I don't
- 57:26Speaker 3: know who and there wants some other people in there,
- 57:28Speaker 3: but I got to clear Excuse me, please, Yeah, I
- 57:32Speaker 3: just wanted to clear the room. Excuse me, step I
- 57:36Speaker 3: got dog out of here everything. Yeah, y'all gotta get
- 57:42Speaker 3: your dog out of here.
- 57:45Speaker 1: Got to go.
- 57:47Speaker 3: Everybody got to get out of here.
- 57:48Speaker 1: What you can't be doing?
- 57:49Speaker 2: Nothing that's clawing in my ass. You can't be doing that.
- 57:52Speaker 2: I can't have no cat in here. We t't to
- 57:56Speaker 2: all be in here.
- 57:57Speaker 3: Well, we can't all be in here going.
- 58:00Speaker 2: Just ripping my hands with them claws. See, so.
- 58:08Speaker 1: Ignorant.
- 58:10Speaker 3: Shut up all that barking.
- 58:13Speaker 1: It's not a mention of any pets in this letter.
- 58:17Speaker 3: Well you know they say they got to clear the room.
- 58:20Speaker 2: I do too.
- 58:21Speaker 3: We gotta get you pets out of here. We gotta
- 58:23Speaker 3: get anybody that can be an eye witness in here.
- 58:28Speaker 4: Parent, what's my name? What's my name?
- 58:31Speaker 3: Shut you hear me say? I like that?
- 58:36Speaker 4: Daddy? Shut up?
- 58:40Speaker 2: I have to clear the room too, not with you today.
- 58:45Speaker 3: He knock over everything on the night stand, throw the pillars.
- 58:48Speaker 3: I done done that before. That ain't nothing I done.
- 58:50Speaker 3: Kicked the lamp off a nice stand. This ain't nothing
- 58:53Speaker 3: new thing pillars and I ain't never had to do that.
- 58:57Speaker 3: I done had to clear some pillows out the way
- 58:59Speaker 3: because it was interfere with what.
- 59:00Speaker 2: I was doing anyway, Act like I'm the best woman
- 59:06Speaker 2: he's ever been with in his type.
- 59:07Speaker 3: Probably are what you're crying about that for? Then the
- 59:13Speaker 3: kids used to ask about the noise in the bedroom
- 59:15Speaker 3: because they was in there trying to figure it out.
- 59:16Speaker 3: Because they sound like sex it all, Mama, some what
- 59:22Speaker 3: animals is in there?
- 59:24Speaker 2: Hang on?
- 59:25Speaker 3: What y'all watching on tv?
- 59:26Speaker 2: Mom? Hang on?
- 59:29Speaker 1: We'll have part two of Steve's crazy response Who is
- 59:33Speaker 1: tar to today's Strawberry Letter at twenty three minutes after
- 59:38Speaker 1: the hour? The subject is clear the room before we start.
- 59:41Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening
- 59:46Speaker 1: morning show? All right? Come on, Steve, let's recap today's
- 59:49Speaker 1: Strawberry letter. The subject is clear the room before we start.
- 59:53Speaker 2: No mention, man, just get to it right here.
- 59:55Speaker 3: The woman in here, says her husband is dramatic and
- 59:58Speaker 3: they over the top sp actually when they in the bedroom,
- 1:00:01Speaker 3: because he acts in the bedroom. You got to clear
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: the room before we start. I do too, that's nothing new.
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: We got to get everybody out of here. I can't
- 1:00:08Speaker 3: have no hote with you to about and pop off
- 1:00:10Speaker 3: him in him. We got to get dogs out of here,
- 1:00:13Speaker 3: the wild ass cats in here, cause they dogs ain't
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: gonna dog and cats ain't gonna un cloud marks on
- 1:00:22Speaker 3: my ass. You know, I just I just can't do
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: this a dog dog.
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: Shut up?
- 1:00:29Speaker 3: Put you down here howling for I can't have no
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: parrot in the room. Probably want to crack up, Probably
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: probably gonna want some of this in a minute.
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: We got to beat.
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: And he acts like I'm the best woman he's ever
- 1:00:43Speaker 3: been within his entire for the u two years of life.
- 1:00:45Speaker 3: You probably are. Our children used to ask about the
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: noise when they were younger because they ain't know what
- 1:00:50Speaker 3: was going on. Mama, what y'all in there watching? We
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: want challenge National Geography to ask a question, are you
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: are right in there?
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: Mama?
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: Why is Grant? Is granddaddy in there? He your granddaddy
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: in here? White? Keep asking you who your daddy? And
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: papaa in there mama, no popall in there with white
- 1:01:16Speaker 3: keep asking you who your daddy is. Last weekend we
- 1:01:23Speaker 3: had the house all to ourselves. We had a lot
- 1:01:25Speaker 3: of good sex. But this man tried to put a
- 1:01:27Speaker 3: pillow over my face and then he bashed me in
- 1:01:31Speaker 3: the head with the TV remote.
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: What what too far.
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: Did? She said, Everything started so quick. I didn't realize
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: the remote was in the bed.
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: It wasn't.
- 1:01:45Speaker 3: He reached over on the night stand, picked it up
- 1:01:48Speaker 3: and bad busted you in your damn head. No, my
- 1:01:53Speaker 3: teenager came home and saw the band ad that bowl
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: my eye and asked if daddy had hit me. Well,
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: technically he did, but not on purpose. My best friend
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: thinks my husband just a beausing me at times, and
- 1:02:05Speaker 3: I'm making excuses for him. But he's choking and hitting
- 1:02:08Speaker 3: a minor, and the marks don't last long. See, this
- 1:02:15Speaker 3: is the same woman to talk about he dried crazy
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: swerving to miss potholes and make wide right terms. It
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: gets on her nerve, but it's actually entertaining. Then she
- 1:02:24Speaker 3: turned around and said, all the choking and hitting that's minor,
- 1:02:29Speaker 3: and the marks don't last that long. No, you see
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: all these excuses, she keeps, Yes, what if my best
- 1:02:38Speaker 3: fear is right? Though it's his behavior too excessive. Lady,
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: can I tell you something? Let me get my mic
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: straighten up? He excuse me? Your man beating your ass? Yeah,
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: I don't know what to tell you. Your man is
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: beaten your ass.
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: Look, I don't I look.
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: I'm sixty seven, I'm grown and had a full life,
- 1:03:09Speaker 3: Still got a full life. I done threw some pillows
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: in the floor. I done knock some stuff off the night.
- 1:03:16Speaker 3: N I ain't never reached over and busted a woman
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: in the head with the remote control. That is a beating.
- 1:03:23Speaker 3: All this choking and stuff I was young one time.
- 1:03:26Speaker 3: Since it tells me I want you to choke me,
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: I got them left because what I'm not finna do it.
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: Go to jail. I call you, I'm not choking. We
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: get up here.
- 1:03:36Speaker 3: I don't even really like you no more, because I
- 1:03:38Speaker 3: don't know where you got this choking from. But they
- 1:03:40Speaker 3: showed whatn't me and I'm not finn to do it
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: because I don't know how to choke light. Yeah, she said,
- 1:03:49Speaker 3: she said, didn't just stop when I started kicking real
- 1:03:51Speaker 3: hard because how well, I don't know what hard kicking
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: is because maybe you ain't kicking hard enough for me.
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: The next thing you or your ass is out of here.
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, anyway, the thing, anytime you get busted in
- 1:04:05Speaker 3: the head with the remote, it's time for you to
- 1:04:07Speaker 3: rethink this. But you really don't because you say the
- 1:04:09Speaker 3: choking and bruises this minor. You're looking at this stuff
- 1:04:13Speaker 3: like it ain't nothing to it, lady, So I don't
- 1:04:14Speaker 3: know what you want us to tell you now, you know,
- 1:04:18Speaker 3: do you think it's behaviors excessive? The only thing I
- 1:04:21Speaker 3: can think, you know, hearing that throw throwing stuff. Throw
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: something back. That's all I got for you. Throw something back.
- 1:04:30Speaker 3: Just put you some rocks in the drawer next to
- 1:04:32Speaker 3: the knight staying. Just put you some rocks in the drawer.
- 1:04:35Speaker 3: And when he next time you reach over and grab
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: that remote, you just reach over. Why you looking at
- 1:04:40Speaker 3: him and still doing your work with him? You reach
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: over and reach over and open that drawer and get
- 1:04:44Speaker 3: you a big ass rock and just come across the
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: side of his head. He bust him upside his heat.
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: I'll stop it.
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: Throw something. That's all I got for you. This this
- 1:04:54Speaker 3: letter is kind of crazy because this woman is going
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: along with this, the driving or swerving sup potholes and
- 1:05:01Speaker 3: and uh and making wide right turns and get on
- 1:05:04Speaker 3: your nerve. But it's kind of entertaining. Then she turns
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: around and said, but to choking and hidding a minor
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: and the marks don't last long.
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: What's saying that? What she's saying? It's crazy, lady, what
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: you're saying?
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: It's crazy. You're in an abusive relationship. You're being beaten,
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: that's all it is. And all this biting, we can nibble,
- 1:05:28Speaker 3: but we gotta stop this biting. We gotta stop this
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: biting now. Now you bite into a steak, you can
- 1:05:34Speaker 3: bite into me like you bite into ice cream.
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: That's all the biting I want.

- 1:09:05Speaker 13: Thank you, Junior.
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour was a
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: man joking or being honest when he told his pregnant
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: fiance why he proposed. You'd be the judge right after this,
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: you're listening morning show, all right, So Steve, this is
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: a trending question from Reddit. A pregnant woman wants to
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: know if she was wrong for ghosting her fiance. Here's
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: a story. She ghosted him because he told her that
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: he proposed so he could claim her and their child
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: as dependents on his taxes. She went on to say
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: that he said he was joking, but she didn't believe him.
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: She wrote, quote, I went home and blocked him on everything,
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: and he said I was being dramatic because I'm pregnant
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: and tired, so it's probably just the hormones. And when
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: I wake up, I will realize that it was a
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: dumb thing to be mad over. She said. She waited
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: for a few days to cool down, and then she
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: reached back out to him, and all he had to
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: say was are you done being a cry baby? After that,
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: she ghosted him again, so she wants to know if
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: she's wrong for ghosting him. Period.
- 1:10:11Speaker 3: Well, ghosting him is not gonna work out for you
- 1:10:13Speaker 3: at all. The man said he was just joking. He
- 1:10:17Speaker 3: asked you to marry him. He's gonna be able to
- 1:10:19Speaker 3: claim you and the baby on his taxes. But he
- 1:10:22Speaker 3: asked you to marry him, you know. He said he
- 1:10:25Speaker 3: was just joking. Bad joke, bad time. The woman's pregnant.
- 1:10:29Speaker 3: That ain't good timing, dog, And if her hormones is off,
- 1:10:34Speaker 3: she got every right she's having a baby. It's a
- 1:10:36Speaker 3: lot of things out of whack right now. But dog,
- 1:10:38Speaker 3: you gotta watch your little jokes because everything ain't funny.
- 1:10:42Speaker 3: But the fact that he did ask the girl to
- 1:10:44Speaker 3: marry him. Yeah, you're gonna get a tax benefit.
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: But that's so. He didn't say he didn't love you.
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: But she looked at this as a red flag. Obviously.
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: This is how he's going with.
- 1:10:58Speaker 3: Yeah, it was a joke, bad joke. Bad is the
- 1:11:01Speaker 3: timing of him saying it was awful. The woman's pregnant. Man, Yeah,
- 1:11:06Speaker 3: you just threw being a cry baby. Then she ghosted
- 1:11:09Speaker 3: him again, blocked him on everything. Lady, come on now,
- 1:11:12Speaker 3: just pull up, get your focus on having a healthy baby.
- 1:11:16Speaker 3: Do your think the dude is all right? He said
- 1:11:19Speaker 3: some dumb stuff, bad timing, bad joke. Smart people say
- 1:11:24Speaker 3: stupid stuff sometimes.
- 1:11:25Speaker 4: All the time.
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: You're saying she should give him another you think she
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: should give him another chance?
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean he's that's a dumb joke, bad timing. Dog.
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: I agree with that one hundred percent. But it's horrible timing.
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: Yeah, it doesn't sound like he's taking her serious or anything.
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: He didn't say he didn't love him. Yeah, but that
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: right there?
- 1:11:49Speaker 3: Are you definitely like that?
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: Come on, dog, pull up, He doesn't he You know,
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: dudes can be.
- 1:11:56Speaker 14: Very very insensitive. Yes, yeah, yeah, And I don't like understand,
- 1:12:04Speaker 14: which they can't. No man does understand what pregnancy really is.
- 1:12:09Speaker 14: You can't even know what that is. But that ain't
- 1:12:12Speaker 14: the time you give him some grace.
- 1:12:15Speaker 3: You got to give a woman some grace doing this pregnancy,
- 1:12:17Speaker 3: because man, there's a lot of stuff going on.
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: That's not a moment of the day. She could not
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: realize that she ain't pregnant.
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: Leave him, Leave him.
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: If my stomach growl, I gotta go sit down somewhat.
- 1:12:37Speaker 3: I gotta get some type of I call it medical attention,
- 1:12:41Speaker 3: but I mean I got to pull over against some meat.
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: I don't like him. She doesn't want to, she doesn't
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: want to go through this during their relationship. I just think, yeah,
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: she's not she's not.
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: With him at all.
- 1:12:55Speaker 4: So we're gonna throw the man away.
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: Gonna throw the man away.
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: Yeah, this is he's not a good guy. I don't
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: look at him as a good guy, all right. I
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: think we have time for that.
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: Not over that.
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: She went days without even talking to him. He didn't
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: even pick up the phone and call her during that time.
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: After a few days, she cooled down and she.
- 1:13:17Speaker 3: Blocked him on everything.
- 1:13:20Speaker 4: He didn't try.
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: She didn't say he tried to call her. She didn't
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: say he tried to call me.
- 1:13:25Speaker 3: She wrote this letter on from her perspective, she blocked
- 1:13:30Speaker 3: him from everything. You don't know what the man tried
- 1:13:33Speaker 3: to do. So eventually they talked how, They talked you.
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: How and stupid?
- 1:13:43Speaker 3: It was a sis. It ain't worth losing a relationship
- 1:13:45Speaker 3: on just the father your baby. He didn't ask you
- 1:13:47Speaker 3: to marry him. Where y'all going with this?
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: Shake him to court and get your close to move on?
- 1:13:56Speaker 3: All right?
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, we'll have
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: more of this Harvey Morning Show. Right after this, you're
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: listening Harvey Morning Show. Okay, so before you take a
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: big sip from your favorite Yetti, Stanley or any reusable
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: water cup, you need to listen to this. Okay. Make
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: sure you wash the cups and the lids really well
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: every day because they carry a lot of germs. A
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: Researchers say an average bottle could be forty thousand times
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: dirtier than a toilet seat, fourteen times more germy than
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: a pet's bowl, and have twice the amount of bacteria
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: as a kitchen sink.
- 1:14:39Speaker 3: That's a damn live. You think it's forty times more
- 1:14:42Speaker 3: deadly than a toilet seat. Go in there and lift
- 1:14:45Speaker 3: that toilet seat.
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: Up, and your damn day go. I got news for you.
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: That yeaty cup ain't got nothing on my damn total.
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: I tell you right now.
- 1:14:56Speaker 3: Go in there and lick that toilet seat and let
- 1:15:00Speaker 3: and record the rest of your day. If you don't
- 1:15:02Speaker 3: try to compare that YETI come to seat. You know
- 1:15:07Speaker 3: the people ass has been on that turnes seat. Lick
- 1:15:09Speaker 3: that toilet seat and go in there and lick your
- 1:15:12Speaker 3: yette cup and see which they go better for you.
- 1:15:15Speaker 9: Yeah, but you know everybody uses the Stanley cups and
- 1:15:19Speaker 9: all that bottler now, yeah, yeah.
- 1:15:23Speaker 3: You use that tarness seat over and over to.
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: Let that go.
- 1:15:30Speaker 3: If you think for one minute that yettie cup is
- 1:15:34Speaker 3: worse than that damn toilet seat, you know the ass
- 1:15:36Speaker 3: has been on that thing.
- 1:15:38Speaker 4: Sorry I brought this up.
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: All right, We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: Show coming up at thirty.
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: Tone that's playing around them.
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: Would you rather next you're listening hard Morning Show? It
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: is time now for a round, and would you rather
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: less jump right in? Would you rather run a marathon
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: or go on a cruise on an older cruise liner.
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: Cruise liner, yeah, on an older cruise liner.
- 1:16:08Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm gonna sit up in there with them old
- 1:16:09Speaker 3: ass people and go to naptal folding. I've been on
- 1:16:14Speaker 3: the old crew. My very first cruise was on the Norwegian.
- 1:16:17Speaker 3: They had scarf time, like for women, how to tie
- 1:16:21Speaker 3: your scarfs?
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: Nice?
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: Listen to me nights.
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: That's how you know so much about.
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: Women's issues. So no marathon runners in the building.
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: That's Tommy.
- 1:16:35Speaker 4: Tommy not all right?
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: Would you rather can't run? No marathon man, don't stop
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: listening to him.
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: He's not here to defend himself.
- 1:16:46Speaker 3: All right, all your little bitty steps. He got to
- 1:16:49Speaker 3: take the bus his feet wide.
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: Would you rather get a deep cleaning and a root
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: canal or would you rather get a bikini wax?
- 1:17:02Speaker 7: Oh?
- 1:17:04Speaker 4: Interesting, I don't lie.
- 1:17:07Speaker 8: I'm gonna go ahead and get this bikini wax. I'm
- 1:17:13Speaker 8: going to hold my head back that long for them,
- 1:17:15Speaker 8: just dig I'm taking too.
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: No, I didn't know you can go. You're gonna do
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: this here. I'm gonna eat all that gas and put
- 1:17:21Speaker 2: me out.
- 1:17:22Speaker 11: I can't take that down there, man. You gotta be
- 1:17:25Speaker 11: you gotta be awake for that waxing, seeing that wax that.
- 1:17:33Speaker 11: I can't do that, thom it.
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: Yeah, Kelly Clarks remember forty year old version of Steve Carrell.
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: Yes, all right.
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: Would you rather have a hunched back or a big
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: bunyon on each foot?
- 1:17:49Speaker 3: You're gonna give me that bunion. I'm gonna take that
- 1:17:51Speaker 3: bunnet like them old people have cut them sides out
- 1:17:53Speaker 3: of my give I'm not gonna be walking a bit
- 1:17:59Speaker 3: over like that.
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, back in the sixties, okay, would you
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: rather have been a black panther or a peaceful protester
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: like MLK Junior, which.
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: I'm gonna just go ahea and be black panthers? I can't.
- 1:18:15Speaker 4: I can't see no dogs on me.
- 1:18:17Speaker 2: I'm not taking that.
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: I'm not going out to day, okay, Okay, Steve, No.
- 1:18:23Speaker 3: No, my brother was a panther. My other brother was
- 1:18:25Speaker 3: a black ashes and in March we can so. Okay,
- 1:18:30Speaker 3: So everyone who stopped being peaceful, they was there for
- 1:18:33Speaker 3: that because my brothers wasn't taking no.
- 1:18:38Speaker 4: So you were a and B.
- 1:18:41Speaker 2: I'm walking peace to you swing on me, then change
- 1:18:45Speaker 2: it so you're not kicking me.
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: I'm not doing that, all right, guys. That's today's rounded
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: would you rather coming up next? It is our last
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: break of the day and the one and only Steve
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: Harvey will close out the show right after this. You're
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: listening hard Morning show. All right, guys, here we are
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: last break of the day on this Monday, and Steve,
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: before we get out of here, before you close out
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: the show, we have just one more thing we want
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: to ask you. This is from Regina in Toledo. She says,
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: my husband and I have been living in the house
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: I grew up in for the last twelve years. My
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: daddy left the house to me. My husband and I
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: have upgraded the house over the years with our own money,
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: and its value has increased. Recently, I had a bad
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: asthma attack and I was hospitalized for six days. My
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: husband asked if I would change my will and lead
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: the house to him, Although his timing was off, I
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: would hate for him to lose the house if something
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: were to happen to me. My baby sister will stop
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: speaking to me if she finds out that I did that.
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: Who should I be the most loyal to her or
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: my husband?
- 1:19:51Speaker 4: That is her question.
- 1:19:52Speaker 3: Regina from Willio, your husband has been putting all the
- 1:19:55Speaker 3: money in it, you know, and uh, but your husband's
- 1:20:01Speaker 3: waiting you. You was in the hospital for a week
- 1:20:04Speaker 3: with a bad asthma tam and then he said, because
- 1:20:12Speaker 3: you know we were looking real bad, why don't you
- 1:20:14Speaker 3: put that house in my name? Case your ass go
- 1:20:16Speaker 3: back down there.
- 1:20:19Speaker 2: And die. You know, I could please keep this house.
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: Timing was off, She did say that, horribly off.
- 1:20:27Speaker 3: Yes, yes, but see your daddy gave you the house
- 1:20:34Speaker 3: like your husband bought it. Yeah, so it's not his house.
- 1:20:40Speaker 3: Your father left it for you, then you moved in it,
- 1:20:43Speaker 3: and y'alld upgraded it. If something happens to you, the
- 1:20:48Speaker 3: rightful thing would be for the house to go to
- 1:20:51Speaker 3: the sister. Yeah, you know, let that man get his
- 1:20:55Speaker 3: own damn, because he's gonna marry somebody else. You that's right,
- 1:20:59Speaker 3: I tell you what, mess around and take your ass
- 1:21:01Speaker 3: down there with another asthma tack.
- 1:21:05Speaker 2: He's ready it because he already thought this out and
- 1:21:12Speaker 2: this time be down there for twelve days. You come home.
- 1:21:15Speaker 3: He might have already beat him. Box stuff. So god
- 1:21:17Speaker 3: dog you back on something. Get stuff out in boxes.
- 1:21:20Speaker 3: Yeah no, he didn't already prepare.
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: Wow, all right? And Toledo, Yeah you heard it, Steve. Yeah,
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: he said, who should have been most loyal to him?
- 1:21:35Speaker 2: Or my or well, you could be.
- 1:21:37Speaker 3: Loyal to your husband. She's probably probably should get that
- 1:21:40Speaker 3: house to your sister, though, because your daddy worked to
- 1:21:43Speaker 3: keep it in the family, not to give it to
- 1:21:44Speaker 3: your ex husband.
- 1:21:46Speaker 2: Because you did that.
- 1:21:47Speaker 3: He said, he gonna sell it. Yeah, he gonna send
- 1:21:51Speaker 3: it soon, a free house. Oh he did a good
- 1:21:55Speaker 3: Oh he as soon as you go in that house sold.
- 1:21:59Speaker 3: He didn't take that care. Should start living his best,
- 1:22:01Speaker 3: like he gonna get a car.
- 1:22:04Speaker 8: But she can't go back down there another time. Twenty
- 1:22:08Speaker 8: one day, he's thinking about it. Days one day, twenty
- 1:22:15Speaker 8: one days.
- 1:22:16Speaker 3: You come home for sale, signs in the yard every day. Yeah,
- 1:22:21Speaker 3: you're down at twenty one days. You pull up at
- 1:22:23Speaker 3: that house. The white people walk around in your house.
- 1:22:29Speaker 3: Beautiful home, we love it. You couldn't make an offer.
- 1:22:33Speaker 4: You can't do that. Oh, all good, All.
- 1:22:37Speaker 2: Right, Junior, Anything else on your mind lately?
- 1:22:40Speaker 7: Man?
- 1:22:41Speaker 8: You know, unc man, I'm serious about uh, you know,
- 1:22:43Speaker 8: opening businesses, just taking my game to another level. How'd
- 1:22:47Speaker 8: you feel about that? If you if you want another business,
- 1:22:51Speaker 8: why would you?
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: Yeah? You know you can open up a business I
- 1:22:56Speaker 2: just for me.
- 1:22:59Speaker 3: I always tried to create more than one source of
- 1:23:02Speaker 3: income just in case somebody come and ask for that
- 1:23:05Speaker 3: source back.
- 1:23:09Speaker 2: I'm not gonna.
- 1:23:10Speaker 3: I can't just have just one job because then when
- 1:23:12Speaker 3: that's going where I'm at. Yeah, I like to always
- 1:23:16Speaker 3: do so. I think opening up a business, of creating
- 1:23:19Speaker 3: a side hustle is always a smart thing to do.
- 1:23:22Speaker 3: Everybody should do it, or at least the money you
- 1:23:24Speaker 3: make and have it sitting somewhere that's making money while
- 1:23:26Speaker 3: you sleep. But you got to do something in that
- 1:23:29Speaker 3: term because what happens to too many of us all
- 1:23:32Speaker 3: the time is we get older, and we wouldn't We
- 1:23:35Speaker 3: didn't prepare for old age, and now we look up
- 1:23:38Speaker 3: and then everything changes. Company closes, they put you out
- 1:23:42Speaker 3: for age discrimination or something like that, and then you
- 1:23:45Speaker 3: just out. And that that's a thing that's always been
- 1:23:49Speaker 3: a concern about being out, you know. So I work
- 1:23:54Speaker 3: really hard at other things. You know, it's so many
- 1:23:58Speaker 3: things you can do. You know, well, you know, how
- 1:24:02Speaker 3: would you say you have right now? How many business
- 1:24:04Speaker 3: Just give me how many drinks? How big would you
- 1:24:06Speaker 3: say right now?
- 1:24:10Speaker 8: I'm probably got about six seven companies. Oh okay, I'm talking. Okay,
- 1:24:17Speaker 8: you got business sit Okay, that's mins is different. But
- 1:24:20Speaker 8: you know businesses, yeah.
- 1:24:23Speaker 2: About six seven different businesses.
- 1:24:26Speaker 3: But I've been doing this for a long time, man,
- 1:24:28Speaker 3: I've been thinking about this for a long time and
- 1:24:30Speaker 3: just start. You know, you just not got in a
- 1:24:33Speaker 3: position being able to do something extra. And it's nothing
- 1:24:36Speaker 3: wrong with that.
- 1:24:37Speaker 2: Man.
- 1:24:37Speaker 3: When a man a man, really man, The average man
- 1:24:41Speaker 3: don't really get straightened out financially until he get in.
- 1:24:44Speaker 2: His forties sometimes fifties.
- 1:24:48Speaker 3: Yeah, but it's because it takes a long time man
- 1:24:51Speaker 3: to get on track, because we've messed out all our
- 1:24:54Speaker 3: twenties up getting as farve track as we could.
- 1:24:57Speaker 2: My twenties was dedicated. All of my.
- 1:25:03Speaker 3: Twenties was dedicated to sin and debauchery. Yeah, lean real
- 1:25:10Speaker 3: heavy on the debauchery, Okay, very very heavily towards debauchery.
- 1:25:18Speaker 2: Yeah, I got you, I got them.
- 1:25:20Speaker 4: But I'm thinking about it, man, I really am.
- 1:25:22Speaker 2: You know. My favorite city was Seeing City.
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: Vegas and still it is.
- 1:25:29Speaker 4: Yeah, it's still your favorite city.
- 1:25:31Speaker 2: I went out there to see it everything facs.
- 1:25:43Speaker 3: Hey, y'all, have a great day. Talk to God today.
- 1:25:45Speaker 3: He'd absolutely love to hear from you. We'll see y'all tomorrow.
