- 1:43Speaker 4: probably got to turn mouth.
- 1:46Speaker 5: Out the mon a. Look, come.
- 1:58Speaker 6: Come out, you think, uh huh, I sure will. Good
- 2:04Speaker 6: morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, Come on dig
- 2:08Speaker 6: me now for it only Steve Harvey got a radio
- 2:11Speaker 6: show man. Instead of trying to be about the business.
- 2:15Speaker 6: To y'all, I'm doing all I can. But you know
- 2:20Speaker 6: what's crazy in the efforts that I make, I can
- 2:25Speaker 6: do more. When my father used to tell me something
- 2:28Speaker 6: when I was growing up, he says, son, when you've
- 2:32Speaker 6: done your best, and you've done all you can, sit
- 2:38Speaker 6: still for a second and just do a little bit more.
- 2:43Speaker 6: Always remember that, he said. When you've done the best
- 2:46Speaker 6: you can and you can done all you can think of,
- 2:50Speaker 6: he say, sit still for a minute and do some more.
- 2:53Speaker 6: And you know what I've discovered in my life, always
- 2:55Speaker 6: have a little more. I ain't ever just out out
- 2:58Speaker 6: out completely. I can't take another step. There ain't another
- 3:03Speaker 6: breath in me. The ain't another thought I can produce.
- 3:07Speaker 6: I'm never completely out, man. Just take a rest for
- 3:10Speaker 6: a minute, man, and then just do a little bit more.
- 3:15Speaker 6: And I can't tell you how many times that's helped
- 3:18Speaker 6: me get over the top. You know, I was watching
- 3:22Speaker 6: a documentary about people climbing Mount Everest and how difficult
- 3:26Speaker 6: climbing Mount Everest was, and how they have on the
- 3:30Speaker 6: hill something called like a death zone or a killing
- 3:34Speaker 6: zone where the majority of people run out of oxygen
- 3:37Speaker 6: and they have to turn back. Well, what's crazy is
- 3:42Speaker 6: it's right in view of the summit. You can actually
- 3:46Speaker 6: see the top of Mount Everest from there, but it's
- 3:50Speaker 6: that little bit that's left that's just most difficult. Now,
- 3:54Speaker 6: I forgot all the reasons why they said most people
- 3:57Speaker 6: don't make it from there, and more people have lost
- 3:59Speaker 6: their lives in that area. I don't know what it is,
- 4:03Speaker 6: but the people that make it to the top of
- 4:06Speaker 6: Mount efforts. They all had to go through that same
- 4:10Speaker 6: zone of that same area, but they had a little
- 4:14Speaker 6: bit more that allowed them to get to the top.
- 4:18Speaker 6: You know, a lot of people have had accidents up
- 4:20Speaker 6: there trying that. So I'm not even really sure if
- 4:23Speaker 6: Mount Everest analogy is a good one. But let's just
- 4:27Speaker 6: break it down a little bit more. Let's just talk
- 4:29Speaker 6: about life. There's a poem I learned back when I
- 4:35Speaker 6: was pledging. It's called don't Quit. It goes like this,
- 4:38Speaker 6: If I make a mistake, I'm just trying to drum
- 4:40Speaker 6: it up, So here we go. It says when things
- 4:43Speaker 6: go wrong, as they sometimes will, when the road you're
- 4:46Speaker 6: trudging seems all uphill, when your funds are low and
- 4:50Speaker 6: your debts are high, when you want to smile, but
- 4:55Speaker 6: you have to side when cares are pressing you down
- 4:58Speaker 6: a bit if you must, But don't quit, for life
- 5:03Speaker 6: is queer with his twisting turns, as every one of
- 5:07Speaker 6: us must sometimes learn. And many a fellow has turned
- 5:11Speaker 6: about when he might have won had he stuck it out.
- 5:16Speaker 6: So don't give up. Though the pace seems slow, you
- 5:19Speaker 6: may succeed with another blow. Often the gold is nearer
- 5:24Speaker 6: than it seems to a faint and a faltering man.
- 5:29Speaker 6: And often the struggler has given up when he might
- 5:33Speaker 6: have captured the victor's cup, and he learns too late,
- 5:37Speaker 6: when the night came down, how close he was to
- 5:40Speaker 6: the golden crown. Success is failure turned inside out. It's
- 5:47Speaker 6: your silver tin of your clouds of doubt. And you
- 5:51Speaker 6: never can tell how close you are. It may be
- 5:55Speaker 6: neil when it seems afar, So stick to the fight
- 6:00Speaker 6: when your hardest hit. It's when things seem worse that
- 6:04Speaker 6: you mustn't quit. I remember it because I had a
- 6:08Speaker 6: special method of helping you remember stuff back then. But
- 6:11Speaker 6: I remembered it, and that poem right there has kept me.
- 6:15Speaker 6: You know, we often talk about scripture and everything, and
- 6:19Speaker 6: I don't see how I could live without it. But
- 6:22Speaker 6: every now and then, man, somebody has a writing. God
- 6:24Speaker 6: puts a writing on somebody's heart that delivers a message.
- 6:28Speaker 7: Man, that can help people.
- 6:29Speaker 6: I use every motivational tool that I possibly can to
- 6:33Speaker 6: climb this letter of success or try to be the
- 6:35Speaker 6: best father and the best husband I can be. I've
- 6:38Speaker 6: done a lot of changing over the years, and so
- 6:40Speaker 6: have you. But change is necessary in order to grow.
- 6:44Speaker 6: If you don't make changes, folks, you can't grow. I
- 6:47Speaker 6: was a young man on my set. I kept looking
- 6:50Speaker 6: at him, and a sharp little young dude just on
- 6:52Speaker 6: my set, and he had these dreads, and I mean
- 6:57Speaker 6: they were they were super long, man. They will well
- 7:02Speaker 6: below the middle of his back. I mean, it was
- 7:04Speaker 6: just long. And he kept talking to me, and he
- 7:06Speaker 6: kept talking to me and talking to me. So young
- 7:09Speaker 6: man kept talking to me, and I said, hey, man,
- 7:10Speaker 6: you know you do a huge self a favor in
- 7:13Speaker 6: the business you're in. If you got a haircut, you
- 7:16Speaker 6: would do yourself a huge favor. I said, your image
- 7:19Speaker 6: is everything, man, I said. He keeps stopping me in
- 7:21Speaker 6: the hallway to try to tell me what you're doing,
- 7:23Speaker 6: what you are, but all I see is your hair. Now,
- 7:26Speaker 6: I keep trying to figure out what you're doing with
- 7:28Speaker 6: all that hair. Man, Now you can feel how you
- 7:31Speaker 6: want to feel. But I'm like an employer. I employed people.
- 7:36Speaker 6: So when I'm walking through the hallway and I try
- 7:38Speaker 6: to think of you traveling with me and you sitting
- 7:40Speaker 6: in a meeting with me, I try to imagine you
- 7:43Speaker 6: and your suit sitting there talking business with me. And so,
- 7:46Speaker 6: just like other employers are, I'm just having a real
- 7:49Speaker 6: story with you. So I said, man, you ought to
- 7:51Speaker 6: consider cutting your hair. He said, Man, mister habb, I've
- 7:55Speaker 6: been growing his hair soide as a little boy, I said,
- 7:58Speaker 6: how old are you now? He said, I said, well,
- 8:01Speaker 6: how long you want to hang on? To what you
- 8:03Speaker 6: was when you was a little boy. You know, if
- 8:05Speaker 6: you started growing your hair when you're a teenager. I mean,
- 8:08Speaker 6: you're twenty eight now, will And I said, so let
- 8:11Speaker 6: me help you understand something. Let me let me ask
- 8:13Speaker 6: you something. What does it do for you? He said, Man,
- 8:16Speaker 6: it's just who I am. It's I said, so you
- 8:20Speaker 6: your hair? He said, no, no, But it's a part
- 8:23Speaker 6: of me. I said, that part of you that you're
- 8:26Speaker 6: hanging on to. What does it do for you?
- 8:29Speaker 7: I just like it? Well, dog, I like ice cream,
- 8:33Speaker 7: but I feed that.
- 8:34Speaker 6: But if I hang on the ice cream and eat
- 8:36Speaker 6: ice cream every single day, my body gonna reflect that.
- 8:40Speaker 6: What is it that you hanging on to that you
- 8:43Speaker 6: don't want to let go of? That's prohibiting you from
- 8:45Speaker 6: being what all you can be? See, it's hard to
- 8:48Speaker 6: be what all you can be if you want to
- 8:50Speaker 6: keep being.
- 8:51Speaker 5: All you was?
- 8:52Speaker 6: Don't that make sense to you? So I can't tell
- 8:56Speaker 6: you how many times I've had to change. Change is
- 8:59Speaker 6: necessary to grow. You can't be all you can be
- 9:05Speaker 6: if you want to keep hanging on to all you was.
- 9:09Speaker 6: That don't make no sense. How do you go forward?
- 9:13Speaker 6: If you keep going backwards? You can't stay here and
- 9:17Speaker 6: go there. Do you understand that if you want to
- 9:21Speaker 6: go over there, you must remove yourself from right here?
- 9:27Speaker 5: Oh?
- 9:27Speaker 6: I got right here is comfortable. I got right here
- 9:30Speaker 6: is safe. But over there is where the shade is.
- 9:34Speaker 6: Over There's where the fruit is. Over there is where
- 9:38Speaker 6: the opportunity is. Over there is where the mountain of
- 9:42Speaker 6: gold is. So why you stuck on here? You got
- 9:46Speaker 6: to leave here to go over there? You can't be
- 9:49Speaker 6: all you can be if you want to stay stuck
- 9:52Speaker 6: on who you was. Change is growth is necessary.
- 9:55Speaker 7: All let's go.
- 9:59Speaker 6: Show, ladies and gentlemen. Here we are again another blessed date.
- 10:05Speaker 6: I ain't gonna look man. Listen, listen, listen, listen. Maybe
- 10:09Speaker 6: it sounds as though I'm getting on your nerves by
- 10:12Speaker 6: reminding you to be grateful.
- 10:13Speaker 7: So I tell you what today, I'm not gonna get
- 10:16Speaker 7: on your nerves. Do like you wanna do. Just go ahead.
- 10:22Speaker 7: You all heard this before. Do like you wanna do.
- 10:25Speaker 8: Turn it out like you wanna do.
- 10:27Speaker 7: Yeah, you know that way, man?
- 10:29Speaker 9: You know not?
- 10:30Speaker 7: How about that? You know you want to be grateful?
- 10:32Speaker 10: Go ahead?
- 10:33Speaker 7: You want to act like you know you woke yourself up?
- 10:36Speaker 6: Go ahead, you want to start your date on the
- 10:39Speaker 6: wrong foot, on wrong side of the bit. Hey, man,
- 10:42Speaker 6: go ahead, I just be trying the awful way to
- 10:45Speaker 6: get your day started the right way. So but today though,
- 10:49Speaker 6: because today's gonna be a special day for me, let
- 10:52Speaker 6: me just start by saying to all of you, do
- 10:57Speaker 6: like you wanna do now it is it is, Shellie,
- 11:04Speaker 6: do like you want to do, and I am gonna
- 11:09Speaker 6: do the same. You got to motivate earlier.
- 11:12Speaker 5: No no, no, no, no, no no.
- 11:14Speaker 1: You know what, You're a motivational speaker.
- 11:17Speaker 7: Yeah, Shellie.
- 11:18Speaker 6: But you know, when you're talking to somebody, you kind
- 11:20Speaker 6: of feel like they ain't listening. Like I mentor a kid,
- 11:25Speaker 6: and a lot of times what makes it hard to
- 11:27Speaker 6: mentor him is he don't listen. Now and it becomes
- 11:32Speaker 6: hard because I could have saved him so much grief,
- 11:38Speaker 6: but he don't listen. He got a counter for everything
- 11:41Speaker 6: I say. So, you know what, the other day he
- 11:44Speaker 6: needed mentory And as I was talking to him, I
- 11:47Speaker 6: was watching me and I was kind of watching him
- 11:49Speaker 6: look off and I stopped talking and he said, mister Harky,
- 11:54Speaker 6: watch you stop talking. I said, because I'm looking at
- 11:56Speaker 6: you and you ain't listening. Well, I was just thinking
- 11:58Speaker 6: about something else for a minute.
- 12:00Speaker 7: Okay, cool, And he went.
- 12:04Speaker 6: On and made a mistake. I just I can't help you, ladies, gentlemen.
- 12:07Speaker 6: Steve Vrbrey Morning Show. Welcome to the Riot, y'all, Shelly
- 12:10Speaker 6: Strawberry Colin for real, Mississippi Monica Junior Government name, kiss
- 12:15Speaker 6: Faith and the legend that is Nephew Tommy Junior.
- 12:19Speaker 7: Anything on your mind today?
- 12:21Speaker 2: Yeah, that do what you want to do attitude?
- 12:24Speaker 11: What if that lead you back to see that attitude
- 12:28Speaker 11: right there, You'll find yourself right back at God's foot.
- 12:32Speaker 6: Well you know that, dude like you want to can
- 12:35Speaker 6: work both ways because it depends.
- 12:38Speaker 7: On what you want to do.
- 12:40Speaker 6: Say, if you want to do good today, some good
- 12:43Speaker 6: gonna come out of them. But if you want to
- 12:45Speaker 6: be negative, then some negative gonna come out of them.
- 12:48Speaker 6: So you can be grateful or or you can act
- 12:50Speaker 6: like you in charge your stuff. I don't know how
- 12:52Speaker 6: you think that's gonna work out for you. But the
- 12:54Speaker 6: great thing that I've done this year is for the
- 12:57Speaker 6: first time, I kid you not the first time in
- 13:02Speaker 6: my life, I have really just handed it over. I
- 13:08Speaker 6: didnet gave it all to God. Oh man, this is
- 13:12Speaker 6: for the first time in my life, and I'm gonna
- 13:13Speaker 6: be real with you. I've ever just turned it over
- 13:16Speaker 6: to here and said, hey, man, you do it. I
- 13:17Speaker 6: didn't got it by far as I can go.
- 13:19Speaker 7: And it wasn't me.
- 13:20Speaker 6: I just slowed the process by doing stupid stuff I
- 13:24Speaker 6: wanted to do, and he had to help me get
- 13:25Speaker 6: out of it and to learn all these lessons.
- 13:28Speaker 7: I don't need more lessons. I'm through.
- 13:31Speaker 6: You do it.
- 13:32Speaker 7: Thank you.
- 13:34Speaker 12: So you're motivated and you didn't even want to motivate.
- 13:36Speaker 12: Look at you coming up. It is time to run
- 13:40Speaker 12: that prank back. Well here from a nephew right after
- 13:43Speaker 12: this you're listening morning show, It is time now for
- 13:49Speaker 12: the nephew to run that prank back.
- 13:50Speaker 9: What you got for his nef Well, Shirley, her husband
- 13:55Speaker 9: is drunk and we're going to give her a call
- 14:00Speaker 9: all about her drunk heads husband. I wish that was
- 14:05Speaker 9: the title. The title is your drunk husband, but really
- 14:08Speaker 9: it's your drunk ass. You missed, you know, add a
- 14:13Speaker 9: little more flavor.
- 14:14Speaker 2: To your drunk head husband.
- 14:17Speaker 7: And I am so excited you all because you know,
- 14:20Speaker 7: can I just say this.
- 14:21Speaker 9: August twenty fourth, next week yes, we're gonna be celebrating
- 14:25Speaker 9: all week. But August twenty fourth is one year of
- 14:30Speaker 9: cancer free, one year of cancer.
- 14:32Speaker 10: So I am.
- 14:33Speaker 9: Celebrating, celebrating, especially when I especially when I hit the stage.
- 14:37Speaker 7: I am celebrating.
- 14:38Speaker 8: So come celebrate with you.
- 14:40Speaker 5: Boy.
- 14:40Speaker 9: August twenty fourth is one year cancer free. And I'm
- 14:44Speaker 9: just who my soul looks back in wonder how I
- 14:50Speaker 9: got over. I'll tell somebody, tell somebody, it is possible.
- 14:56Speaker 9: You can get through it. It can be done. Us a,
- 15:00Speaker 9: I have a man, a real one. Well, let's get
- 15:02Speaker 9: on back to your drunk. Yeah, run transition.

- 15:23Speaker 13: Hello, right now, you're inebriated, sir, okay, right now, to
- 15:27Speaker 13: be taking you in, but I'm not gonna do that.
- 15:30Speaker 3: Let me able to come and pick you up.
- 15:32Speaker 13: I'll let her come get you, all right, although Brian
- 15:35Speaker 13: is gonna officer, Brian's gonna put you in his squad car.
- 15:38Speaker 13: I'm gonna call your wife. I've got the phone, dolling now.
- 15:41Speaker 3: All right, okay, hello, Hello, who is Who'm I fishing
- 15:49Speaker 3: with who is it?
- 15:51Speaker 9: This is Arthur for.
- 15:52Speaker 11: Daniels Aladaniel, you just time from this is my husband
- 15:57Speaker 11: not but.
- 15:58Speaker 1: Who is who is?
- 15:59Speaker 3: Alf said? I am Officer Daniels Man. Your husband's actually
- 16:02Speaker 3: being pulled over and he's been Actually he's in another
- 16:07Speaker 3: officer's car. He's he's a little bit inebriated here and
- 16:11Speaker 3: we're trying to see about getting them picked up. I'm
- 16:13Speaker 3: trying my best not to take him in today, so
- 16:15Speaker 3: I'm trying to be a good Samaritan and I'm trying
- 16:17Speaker 3: to get someone to come and pick him up.
- 16:19Speaker 14: Hold on, hold.
- 16:20Speaker 3: On, hold on, backer Beca.
- 16:22Speaker 9: You got my husband?
- 16:23Speaker 3: Uh? What I got here on the driver's license is
- 16:27Speaker 3: Kenny Kenny, and he's with you now. He's actually an
- 16:30Speaker 3: officer Brian's squad car right now. So he was actually
- 16:34Speaker 3: uh bobbing and weaving out on the road and we
- 16:37Speaker 3: pulled him over. He's not creating any problems. The young
- 16:40Speaker 3: lady wasn't creating any problems. So what we're trying, what
- 16:43Speaker 3: we're trying to do is get somebody to come and
- 16:44Speaker 3: pick him up.

- 16:56Speaker 3: was a young lady in the car. Man, we're actually
- 16:58Speaker 3: letting her go because she's not a need from a
- 17:01Speaker 3: look over at somebody. She's calling somebody to pick her
- 17:04Speaker 3: up now, man, Okay, No, I can't believe it. Kenny,
- 17:08Speaker 3: and I know that dirty so got no back in
- 17:11Speaker 3: my car.

- 17:16Speaker 3: me this. Look at that and tell me what she
- 17:19Speaker 3: looked like.

- 17:49Speaker 3: on my way. I'm on my way right now. Hey, Bridget,
- 17:52Speaker 3: I want you to watch these children from util I
- 17:54Speaker 3: get back.
- 17:55Speaker 14: I'm going to see if I can give me a
- 17:56Speaker 14: ride up to the truck stop and I'll be back
- 17:58Speaker 14: in a minute.
- 18:01Speaker 3: Hello, Yeah, I'm here.
- 18:05Speaker 6: I'm here.
- 18:06Speaker 15: Yeah, I'm here.
- 18:07Speaker 8: I'm here.
- 18:07Speaker 3: Okay, man listen, I can't. I can't stay here too
- 18:10Speaker 3: much longer.
- 18:11Speaker 7: I can.
- 18:11Speaker 3: I can say here, maybe another fifteen to twenty minutes.
- 18:13Speaker 3: Somebody come get the car, and but I gotta keep
- 18:16Speaker 3: moving here. I'm just trying to do a front of another.
- 18:18Speaker 3: I'm all my way. I'm all my way. I'm all
- 18:22Speaker 3: my way. I got my parents in my hand. I'm
- 18:25Speaker 3: all my way to that. Fuck stop, please don't take.
- 18:28Speaker 16: That somewhere, because I got something from here.
- 18:31Speaker 3: And when I get that, I hope like hell.
- 18:34Speaker 17: And they's been calling me so with me all through
- 18:37Speaker 17: the night.
- 18:38Speaker 3: Leave for that time. I get that because I got
- 18:41Speaker 3: some things that I need to take care of. This thing.
- 18:43Speaker 6: Don't move the squad car to I get there.
- 18:46Speaker 2: I'm all wait right now, right now, I be there
- 18:49Speaker 2: in a minute.
- 18:50Speaker 3: Well that took my time, picked up that to day.
- 18:55Speaker 16: We done had arguments over this.

- 54:38Speaker 12: curly hair, big breast, and a.
- 54:40Speaker 1: Big old booty. Everything is nice and full on me,
- 54:44Speaker 1: and it's natural.
- 54:46Speaker 12: The fact that I have a tiny waist makes his
- 54:49Speaker 12: big bone sisters hate on me.
- 54:52Speaker 1: I make them. I met him.
- 54:54Speaker 12: I met them shortly after I started dating my husband.
- 54:57Speaker 12: His sister had the nerve to ask me if I
- 55:00Speaker 12: got my butt done. I ignored her at the time,
- 55:02Speaker 12: and she took that as me not wanting to admit
- 55:05Speaker 12: it when I got back to my man. When it
- 55:08Speaker 12: got back to my man, he started second guessing me,
- 55:10Speaker 12: and he actually asked me if I was keeping something
- 55:13Speaker 12: from him. His sister had him think I had butt implants.
- 55:18Speaker 12: I should have known then to pump the brakes on
- 55:20Speaker 12: our relationship. His mother is no better, so I see
- 55:23Speaker 12: why his sisters are so rude. His mom retired shortly
- 55:27Speaker 12: after we got married, and she had a pot loock
- 55:29Speaker 12: dinner for her friends and family. I made a pot
- 55:32Speaker 12: of gumbo and homemade garlic French bread. His mom asked me,
- 55:37Speaker 12: what do I know about making gumbos since I'm Mexican.
- 55:41Speaker 12: My husband has let them, has let them make remarks
- 55:46Speaker 12: like this about me and my presence since I met them.
- 55:49Speaker 12: My sister in law disrespected me last week in my
- 55:51Speaker 12: own house and the other sister and his mom left.
- 55:54Speaker 1: She poked my behind and said it jiggles like it's real.
- 55:58Speaker 12: At this point, any one of them can get it
- 56:01Speaker 12: since my husband won't check them. I'm from the hood
- 56:04Speaker 12: and I was raised by the black side of my family,
- 56:06Speaker 12: so this is not what they want. I made it
- 56:09Speaker 12: very clear that they should never touch me. My husband said,
- 56:12Speaker 12: is not that serious and I am too sensitive. I
- 56:14Speaker 12: may have to knock one of them out so they
- 56:16Speaker 12: will stop playing with me. I bet that will get
- 56:20Speaker 12: my husband's attention.
- 56:22Speaker 1: What should I do?
- 56:24Speaker 12: Well, you can tell them it's your real body, no
- 56:26Speaker 12: implants or shots for starters if you like. But ideally,
- 56:30Speaker 12: I want you to have a talk with your husband.
- 56:32Speaker 12: I mean, he definitely should stand up to them for
- 56:35Speaker 12: you and not let them.
- 56:36Speaker 1: Talk about your butt or touch your butt period because
- 56:39Speaker 1: it bothers you.
- 56:41Speaker 12: He should care how they treat you. He should care
- 56:43Speaker 12: how you feel. It's his family and.
- 56:46Speaker 1: He should know how to deal with them and shut
- 56:48Speaker 1: them down. They are being disrespectful, yes they are, And
- 56:52Speaker 1: the sisters and the mom are hating on you big
- 56:54Speaker 1: time because of your body.
- 56:57Speaker 7: And all of that.
- 56:59Speaker 12: You said you were raised by the black side of
- 57:01Speaker 12: your family, so tell them that's why you know how
- 57:03Speaker 12: to make gumbos.
- 57:04Speaker 1: The only comment from his mom should have been it
- 57:06Speaker 1: was good if it was so.
- 57:08Speaker 3: I know.
- 57:09Speaker 12: I know you want to knock them out, but please
- 57:12Speaker 12: don't start a fight with them. All right again, let
- 57:15Speaker 12: your husband know how you feel and let him check
- 57:18Speaker 12: his family and get them off of you. But listen,
- 57:21Speaker 12: don't expect much since this has been going on since
- 57:24Speaker 12: before you guys got married, and you knew that.
- 57:28Speaker 7: Steve, Well, it's an opportunity for you know, let the
- 57:34Speaker 7: gift that I have shine.
- 57:36Speaker 6: I don't think there's any redemptive quality in this letter
- 57:40Speaker 6: at Also, why would I try to write one. Therefore,
- 57:44Speaker 6: I'm just going to comment on the letter when and
- 57:47Speaker 6: however I want to. I'm really not here to help
- 57:50Speaker 6: anybody today because I don't think it needs help. I
- 57:53Speaker 6: have some suggestions for the letter writer that might be
- 57:56Speaker 6: able to help her out, but I'm sure Shery and
- 57:58Speaker 6: Carl are going to disagree with it. Everything I'm gonna
- 58:01Speaker 6: give out as advice. So prepared to laugh your ass
- 58:04Speaker 6: off and just enjoy the things that I'm thinking coming
- 58:07Speaker 6: from my mind. I've been married for almost two years
- 58:09Speaker 6: to a man that will not stand up to his
- 58:11Speaker 6: family when it comes to me. I'm black and hispanic,
- 58:16Speaker 6: and I have curly hair, big breast, and a big
- 58:19Speaker 6: old booty.
- 58:20Speaker 7: Everything is nice and full on me, and it's natural. Now.
- 58:25Speaker 6: The fact that I have a tiny waist makes his
- 58:27Speaker 6: big bone sisters hate on me.
- 58:30Speaker 7: Well, let's address this part right here.
- 58:33Speaker 6: The fact that you stacked and cut and built like
- 58:36Speaker 6: a brick house now has his as you say, big
- 58:39Speaker 6: bone sisters hating on me.
- 58:41Speaker 7: They're not big boney. This is his sisters, you know.
- 58:44Speaker 7: That's who it is. It's some sitting over here.
- 58:48Speaker 6: Ain't kept thyself together now mad because you don't come
- 58:51Speaker 6: up in the hell and it took a little bit
- 58:53Speaker 6: better care of yourself.
- 58:55Speaker 7: That's all it is. This ain't his big bone. It's sisters.
- 58:59Speaker 7: This is his ass.
- 59:02Speaker 6: They your bones. Ain't that damn big Who? When have
- 59:06Speaker 6: you ever seen a skeleton that said, what that's a
- 59:08Speaker 6: big bone?
- 59:09Speaker 7: That asked, skeleton? It's just a skeleton.
- 59:14Speaker 6: You have never been, know when you ain't been in
- 59:17Speaker 6: the doctor's office that said, who look at the bones
- 59:21Speaker 6: on this damn skeleton in the hill? Ever, they ain't
- 59:27Speaker 6: never unwrapped the money in a tuning with girl. This
- 59:30Speaker 6: is a big bone, that money right here. Let's stop
- 59:34Speaker 6: using the word big bony. Let's stop using the word
- 59:38Speaker 6: red bone.
- 59:41Speaker 7: You life skid.
- 59:42Speaker 10: That's it.
- 59:43Speaker 6: I ain't got a damn thing to do with your bone.
- 59:45Speaker 6: And you're not big bony. Because when you take all
- 59:48Speaker 6: that stuff off, the big ass bones and asses skeleton,
- 59:51Speaker 6: we're talking about it. You met him after they started dating,
- 59:56Speaker 6: since they had the nerve to ask me if I
- 59:58Speaker 6: got my butt done, called her and then she took
- 1:00:01Speaker 6: that I was not going to admit it. We got
- 1:00:03Speaker 6: back to my man, he started second guest me and
- 1:00:05Speaker 6: actually asked you, was you keeping something young? His sister
- 1:00:09Speaker 6: had him think that I had butt him planning. I
- 1:00:13Speaker 6: should have known then to pump the brakes on our relationship.
- 1:00:16Speaker 6: His mom ain't no better, so I see where his
- 1:00:18Speaker 6: sistance got rooted. But they all of a sudden, Mama
- 1:00:23Speaker 6: probably big bone. So now they all all these big
- 1:00:28Speaker 6: bone people in looking at you. Crely has small always.
- 1:00:34Speaker 6: When I come back, I will share with you some
- 1:00:36Speaker 6: things I think you could do the counter access.
- 1:00:39Speaker 7: No one show is going to agree with me.
- 1:00:42Speaker 10: That's why I'm gone to the second half.
- 1:00:44Speaker 7: Of this letter.
- 1:00:45Speaker 12: All right, Part two of Steve's response is coming up
- 1:00:48Speaker 12: at twenty three minutes after the hour Today's Strawberry Letter
- 1:00:52Speaker 12: subject anyone can get.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: It right after this.
- 1:00:55Speaker 12: You're listening Steve Hard Morning Show. All right, come on
- 1:00:59Speaker 12: Steve's recap Today's strawberry letter. This subject anyone can get it.
- 1:01:03Speaker 7: Well, uh, chick and married his husband.
- 1:01:08Speaker 6: She's black and hispanic, got curly hair, big breast, big
- 1:01:12Speaker 6: old booty, everything nice and full on it and it's
- 1:01:14Speaker 6: all natural. And the fact that you got a tiny
- 1:01:17Speaker 6: waist makes his big bones. That sisters hate on me.
- 1:01:20Speaker 6: We've discovered in the previous section of the letter that
- 1:01:23Speaker 6: there's no such thing.
- 1:01:24Speaker 7: As big bones. A skeleton is a skeleton.
- 1:01:28Speaker 6: You've never been to the doctor's office and said, wow,
- 1:01:31Speaker 6: this one, this was a big bone skeleton in you.
- 1:01:34Speaker 6: So it's just a skeleton. It's relatively the same size
- 1:01:39Speaker 6: bones on most people. Some I'm a little bit smaller.
- 1:01:41Speaker 6: But you've never looked at a skeleton and went wood,
- 1:01:44Speaker 6: there some big bones on that. No, there's the size bones,
- 1:01:48Speaker 6: just got a lot of meat on the outside of it.
- 1:01:50Speaker 6: Most of that meat is bat So his sisters don't
- 1:01:55Speaker 6: like it. I little shortly after they started dating and
- 1:01:59Speaker 6: one of them ought that you had got your butt done.
- 1:02:01Speaker 6: Stop talking to the shop whether they're not big bone.
- 1:02:05Speaker 6: And we need to stop using these terms, like a
- 1:02:08Speaker 6: light skinned girl is not a red bone. All bones
- 1:02:11Speaker 6: is the same color. It's just no such thing as
- 1:02:12Speaker 6: red bone. You just you're just yell at you just
- 1:02:15Speaker 6: had LFE speed. Let's stop saying this, and you're not
- 1:02:18Speaker 6: big bone. Yes, it's fact, It's okay. It's nothing wrong
- 1:02:22Speaker 6: with thatt. That's some people I absolutely love. Started with
- 1:02:25Speaker 6: my mama. I love my mama, dealer. I'm attracted to
- 1:02:30Speaker 6: fat people. I'll stop it from being fat about being
- 1:02:37Speaker 6: I like all different shades of black people. All my
- 1:02:40Speaker 6: women have been black, all different shades. I ain't got
- 1:02:43Speaker 6: a problem. Now I have some thick ones too. Now anyway, anyway,
- 1:02:50Speaker 6: all your sister, as one of your sisters asked, did
- 1:02:53Speaker 6: you get your butt done?
- 1:02:54Speaker 7: You know order?
- 1:02:54Speaker 6: She thought that meant you was admitting and didn't want
- 1:02:56Speaker 6: to confront him. Then your husband came, Boif came and
- 1:03:00Speaker 6: asked you, this is something you need to tell him,
- 1:03:02Speaker 6: because they didnet talked about it. Anyway, you started to
- 1:03:07Speaker 6: pump the brakes on the and his mom is no
- 1:03:09Speaker 6: better because I see why his sisters are so rude,
- 1:03:11Speaker 6: because it's mama big bone too, and that's how they
- 1:03:14Speaker 6: live together. As mom retired shortly after we got married,
- 1:03:17Speaker 6: and she had a potluck dinner for her friends and family.
- 1:03:21Speaker 6: That's another poe ass event. I've been a member of
- 1:03:23Speaker 6: those poe ass events on several times in my life.
- 1:03:26Speaker 6: We call them potlug dinner. The only problem with potlug
- 1:03:28Speaker 6: dinner somebody gonna bring one of the pots. It ain't
- 1:03:31Speaker 6: gonna be some all in luck ain't gonna be in it.
- 1:03:34Speaker 6: Some of these dishes as unlucky as hail. Potluck dinner.
- 1:03:37Speaker 6: Somebody show up with some line of bean castle roll
- 1:03:40Speaker 6: with some potatoes cut in half lined up around the
- 1:03:43Speaker 6: cast roll. Dish looked like a fence, and then put
- 1:03:46Speaker 6: a ham hock in the middle of it.
- 1:03:47Speaker 7: Well, damn it. Don't nobody want that.
- 1:03:49Speaker 6: Nobody want your damn lime of beans with your half
- 1:03:52Speaker 6: potatoes cut make it look like a fence and a
- 1:03:54Speaker 6: ham hock in the middle.
- 1:03:55Speaker 7: That's not pot up. That's very unlucky. So poor people
- 1:03:59Speaker 7: do that.
- 1:03:59Speaker 6: Like anyway, I made a part of gumboat and homemade
- 1:04:04Speaker 6: garlic French bread. His mom asked me what I know
- 1:04:07Speaker 6: about making gumbo since I'm Mexican. Well that's a fair question.
- 1:04:14Speaker 6: What do you know about making gumbo? But I don't
- 1:04:18Speaker 6: see why you're so offended. Let me tell you something
- 1:04:21Speaker 6: about me. I don't eat Mexican food that's made by
- 1:04:24Speaker 6: black people.
- 1:04:27Speaker 10: I don't.
- 1:04:30Speaker 5: I don't.
- 1:04:31Speaker 6: I don't eat Chinese food that's made by black people.
- 1:04:37Speaker 7: I went in a sushi restaurant.
- 1:04:38Speaker 6: So I thought, in downtown Atlanta years ago, and two
- 1:04:41Speaker 6: black dudes was behind the counter.
- 1:04:43Speaker 7: I laughed so hard and walked out. You can't be
- 1:04:46Speaker 7: no black dude and hand me no raw ass fish.
- 1:04:51Speaker 6: I'm sorry, what's the problem, y'all ain't got to like it.
- 1:04:57Speaker 6: I'll just tell you how I am. If you're gonna
- 1:05:00Speaker 6: the Chinese restaurant is all black people back there?
- 1:05:02Speaker 7: Why is we in here? So I go to Chinese
- 1:05:06Speaker 7: restaurant to Chinese food, I expect to see some Chinese people. Now, hell,
- 1:05:12Speaker 7: I'm wrong for that.
- 1:05:13Speaker 6: Why would I go to a soul food restaurant and
- 1:05:16Speaker 6: white people standing back there?
- 1:05:17Speaker 5: I'm going home.
- 1:05:20Speaker 6: Your ass ain't got no beer to trying to fool
- 1:05:23Speaker 6: me like you make our damn food. Let's keep it real.
- 1:05:29Speaker 8: That's raised.
- 1:05:31Speaker 7: So that don't mean you can make gumbo. I got
- 1:05:34Speaker 7: news for you.
- 1:05:35Speaker 6: It's black people that don't know how to cook soul food.
- 1:05:39Speaker 6: So the chances of your ass knowing how to make
- 1:05:42Speaker 6: Mechigan food and gumbo kind of threw me and French
- 1:05:47Speaker 6: garlic bread. I didn't even know it was called French
- 1:05:49Speaker 6: garlic brid I just thought it was golibread. Well, here
- 1:05:52Speaker 6: you is now now you're Hispanic and black making French food.
- 1:05:55Speaker 5: For how we doing this?
- 1:05:56Speaker 14: Okash?
- 1:05:57Speaker 6: Where is French person that sack? See, I'm not gonna
- 1:06:04Speaker 6: be in here anyway. Your husband will let them make
- 1:06:08Speaker 6: remarks like that about me and all this hit. My
- 1:06:11Speaker 6: sister in law disrespected me last week in my own
- 1:06:14Speaker 6: house and the other sister law mom laughed. She poked
- 1:06:17Speaker 6: my behind and said it jigger like is real? Well
- 1:06:20Speaker 6: at disappoint This can't get away. My husband won't check them.
- 1:06:23Speaker 6: I'm from the hood. I was raised on the black
- 1:06:25Speaker 6: side of my family, so this is not what they want.
- 1:06:27Speaker 6: I made it clear they should never touch me again.
- 1:06:29Speaker 6: My husband said I was taking too serious and too sensity.
- 1:06:32Speaker 6: I may have to knock one of them out so
- 1:06:33Speaker 6: we can stop playing with me.
- 1:06:34Speaker 7: We'll let you black.
- 1:06:35Speaker 6: Side come on out then if you really it's got
- 1:06:38Speaker 6: that much black and you gonna knock the ass out.
- 1:06:40Speaker 6: Black people understand why they getting knocked out. Every time
- 1:06:43Speaker 6: I been knocked out, I understood it. I have a
- 1:06:46Speaker 6: suggestion for you. If everybody think your booty fake this Thanksgiving,
- 1:06:50Speaker 6: hack your dress up and shake it real hard at
- 1:06:54Speaker 6: the table.
- 1:06:54Speaker 7: And let everybody's see.
- 1:06:56Speaker 6: Okay we and then Bratt take a part of God,
- 1:07:00Speaker 6: throw it on the table and walk your ass out.

- 1:10:50Speaker 1: is from Beverly and Lafayette.
- 1:10:51Speaker 12: Beverly says, I'm fifty five years old and I've been
- 1:10:54Speaker 12: in a stable and loving relationship for almost twenty years.
- 1:10:58Speaker 12: I want to get married, but he says, if it
- 1:11:00Speaker 12: ain't broke, don't fix it. I want to be able
- 1:11:02Speaker 12: to say my husband to my friends, and I want
- 1:11:05Speaker 12: to have his last name and be his wife, not girlfriend.
- 1:11:08Speaker 12: He said, a wedding is a waste of money, and
- 1:11:10Speaker 12: after all these years, we're doing just fine. Do I
- 1:11:13Speaker 12: drop it and settle for being a girlfriend.
- 1:11:16Speaker 6: Well, you've been settling it for twenty years. You could
- 1:11:19Speaker 6: have changed this a long time ago. You hit old
- 1:11:22Speaker 6: saying heart, don't change horses in the middle of the street.
- 1:11:25Speaker 6: It's hard to let a man have his way this
- 1:11:28Speaker 6: long and then tell him you don't want it like
- 1:11:30Speaker 6: this no more. You just describe your relationship as a
- 1:11:34Speaker 6: happy and loving relationship, and you've been acting like that
- 1:11:38Speaker 6: for twenty years.
- 1:11:40Speaker 5: Now.
- 1:11:40Speaker 6: You're tired of it because he ain't went the way
- 1:11:42Speaker 6: you want it. You want to be able to call
- 1:11:44Speaker 6: him your husband and take his last name.
- 1:11:47Speaker 7: He don't want that. He don't want that.
- 1:11:50Speaker 6: And guess what you to let him tell you. If
- 1:11:52Speaker 6: it ain't broke, don't fix it, he said, a wedding
- 1:11:56Speaker 6: is a waste of money. Okay, didn't go to the courthouse. Okay,
- 1:12:01Speaker 6: see you if you really want to know where you
- 1:12:04Speaker 6: staying with this man? Erased all the excuses. Okay, let's
- 1:12:09Speaker 6: not do a big web. Let's let's just go to
- 1:12:11Speaker 6: the court house.
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: That's what she should say, too.
- 1:12:14Speaker 10: Canny.
- 1:12:15Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I'll
- 1:12:17Speaker 6: tell you what I'm leaving. If I don't get what
- 1:12:20Speaker 6: I want. I'm not gonna continue. Now it's broke. Now
- 1:12:24Speaker 6: I need fixing. See you all this stuff, y'all let
- 1:12:28Speaker 6: me and tell you. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, okay?
- 1:12:30Speaker 7: Cool?
- 1:12:31Speaker 6: Then I don't like it like this. I'm leaving now
- 1:12:33Speaker 6: it's broke. Okay, now you need fixing. And then the
- 1:12:37Speaker 6: other one is a wedding costs too much money. Let's
- 1:12:39Speaker 6: get mad at at the court out Both excuses gone.
- 1:12:43Speaker 6: Now Now where you at? You find out where you
- 1:12:45Speaker 6: really are?
- 1:12:46Speaker 7: Okay? And then if and if he if he let
- 1:12:49Speaker 7: and if he lets you go.
- 1:12:52Speaker 6: Because of a wedding, or if he lets you go
- 1:12:54Speaker 6: because it ain't no broken figure?
- 1:12:57Speaker 7: Did I got news for you? Happy with you the
- 1:13:00Speaker 7: way you are anymore?
- 1:13:01Speaker 5: He don't want it's.
- 1:13:04Speaker 7: All good.
- 1:13:07Speaker 10: Day still j you want to get married?
- 1:13:10Speaker 7: Got initials?
- 1:13:12Speaker 5: See it.
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: He'll see it too.
- 1:13:14Speaker 7: It's too many years.
- 1:13:15Speaker 10: It's twenty years.
- 1:13:16Speaker 7: Yeah, why did you do this for twenty years?
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: That wasn't married you?
- 1:13:22Speaker 6: You're doing everything marry people do.
- 1:13:31Speaker 7: Ask me about no wed no more now, I mean that.
- 1:13:33Speaker 8: Don't ask me no more about no wedding.
- 1:13:35Speaker 10: I mean it.
- 1:13:36Speaker 17: That's exactly what he's saying to come in here talking
- 1:13:39Speaker 17: about no wed and I have told you nothing twenty years.
- 1:13:44Speaker 3: City Hall.
- 1:13:44Speaker 5: Here we come.
- 1:13:47Speaker 8: City Hall.
- 1:13:49Speaker 10: Either day.
- 1:13:50Speaker 2: I'm hitting some papers.
- 1:13:55Speaker 12: All right, we have time for another one, This one says.
- 1:13:58Speaker 12: This one's from Misha in Springfield. Tomishia's forty four. She's
- 1:14:03Speaker 12: dating a man who's sixty four, and he can't finish
- 1:14:05Speaker 12: what he starts. It's like a marathon for me, she says,
- 1:14:09Speaker 12: because I'm trying to hurry up and finish before him.
- 1:14:11Speaker 12: He doesn't have medical problems and all he takes is
- 1:14:14Speaker 12: blood pressure medicine. Maybe he is getting all worked up
- 1:14:17Speaker 12: because I'm too much for him. How can I get
- 1:14:19Speaker 12: him to relax and finish.
- 1:14:22Speaker 6: Oh, you're gonna have a heart No, no, no, he
- 1:14:25Speaker 6: is finished, but he though. See y'all keep wanting to
- 1:14:31Speaker 6: know how you get a mari He beat thoo. He
- 1:14:34Speaker 6: taking high blood pressure medicine. High blood pressure medicine passed
- 1:14:39Speaker 6: side effects, as do most medications.
- 1:14:42Speaker 7: Most prescription mans have a side effect. And the side effect.
- 1:14:46Speaker 6: Now, I was looking at this one commercial the other day,
- 1:14:49Speaker 6: and the one of the I can't remember the name
- 1:14:52Speaker 6: of the drug, but it was for dementia. And guess
- 1:14:56Speaker 6: what the side effect was, stroke or death?
- 1:15:00Speaker 10: Oh?
- 1:15:01Speaker 7: What I'm going down?
- 1:15:03Speaker 10: What are we curing?
- 1:15:04Speaker 6: Why are we talking that the side effect potential stroke
- 1:15:10Speaker 6: or death?
- 1:15:12Speaker 5: For damn?
- 1:15:14Speaker 7: Yeah yeah, And that's sad for a person that has dementia.
- 1:15:19Speaker 6: But if you've given me the option of a stroke
- 1:15:20Speaker 6: of death, I'm just being setup here and not know
- 1:15:22Speaker 6: you'll ask.
- 1:15:22Speaker 7: That's all.
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: I'm coming up a twenty minutes after the hour. We'll

- 1:17:17Speaker 12: right after this, you're listening hard morning show and it's

- 1:17:24Speaker 12: you rather wear skinny jeans? Or would you rather wear
- 1:17:28Speaker 12: saggy jeans? Just sagging?
- 1:17:31Speaker 16: You know?
- 1:17:33Speaker 8: You know, I can't have my ass all that skinny,

- 1:18:33Speaker 7: No, hold up time. Okay, mister Newly, where did you
- 1:18:35Speaker 7: think you want to put that out there?
- 1:18:37Speaker 10: Would you rather work as a team or work alone?
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: If I'm working, work alone, I'll do that now, work
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: on stage by myself.
- 1:18:43Speaker 7: I don't need nobody, okay, cause I don't know I
- 1:18:45Speaker 7: was you talking about in a relationship.

- 1:18:52Speaker 6: you missed it by your damn self.
- 1:18:54Speaker 3: No.
- 1:18:54Speaker 7: No, I'm just saying, like, if I'm if I was
- 1:18:56Speaker 7: doing something, you just said you rather work alone. That
- 1:19:00Speaker 7: all of us sitting here was saddened by the remark.
- 1:19:04Speaker 6: Yeah, I think I think you hurt your team you're
- 1:19:06Speaker 6: sitting out here, man, you know, working spot to listening
- 1:19:10Speaker 6: to you.
- 1:19:10Speaker 7: And then your ass want to work alone? What you said,
- 1:19:16Speaker 7: I don't know what you mean.
- 1:19:17Speaker 8: I was thinking about when I was working back at
- 1:19:18Speaker 8: General Motive. I want a good team. On the line.
- 1:19:21Speaker 7: What you said?
- 1:19:22Speaker 6: She said, now, would you rather work as a team
- 1:19:25Speaker 6: or work alone? And your ass said I'd rather work alone?
- 1:19:29Speaker 6: And you noticed, didn't none of us say nothing.
- 1:19:31Speaker 2: I didn't know that that's what I was saying, because
- 1:19:33Speaker 2: we was all.
- 1:19:34Speaker 7: Sitting here going with dam.
- 1:19:36Speaker 5: Not what I was saying.
- 1:19:37Speaker 7: Hell is we coming to work for helping his ass?
- 1:19:41Speaker 15: I was I was talking about working when I was
- 1:19:43Speaker 15: a kid working at General Motives.
- 1:19:45Speaker 7: I'm not talking.
- 1:19:46Speaker 6: We didn't know you wanted to see Well see now,
- 1:19:49Speaker 6: let me show you what team did. Now you're trying
- 1:19:51Speaker 6: to take that back like your headline and see.
- 1:19:57Speaker 3: That.
- 1:19:58Speaker 6: Well, well see that what happened when you when you
- 1:20:00Speaker 6: lee your team, we all go back all of a
- 1:20:03Speaker 6: sudden work alone.
- 1:20:06Speaker 2: No, that's not what I meant you to work with.
- 1:20:09Speaker 7: No hat on, don't say nothing.
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: We're gonna move on. Would you rather have three?
- 1:20:19Speaker 6: And I'm sorry for having the Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 1:20:22Speaker 6: I couldn't go ahead say it again.
- 1:20:25Speaker 5: We don't have time.
- 1:20:26Speaker 2: Just say it right quickly, Okay?
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: Would you rather have threesomes forever or never have sex again?
- 1:20:32Speaker 7: We're gonna down.
- 1:20:36Speaker 10: Room up.
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: All right, that's today's round.
- 1:20:39Speaker 12: Would you rather coming up next to our last break
- 1:20:41Speaker 12: of the day, and we'll have some closing remarks from
- 1:20:44Speaker 12: the one and only Steve Harvey right after this.
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: You're listening hard Morning show.
- 1:20:50Speaker 12: Here we are last break of the day, guys, before
- 1:20:52Speaker 12: we get to the closing remarks. Officials in Maui have
- 1:20:56Speaker 12: confirmed over one hundred deaths and the devastating fire that
- 1:21:00Speaker 12: destroyed most of the city of Lahaina. President Biden plans
- 1:21:04Speaker 12: to visit Maui on Monday. Ahead of his visit, Biden
- 1:21:08Speaker 12: has made all federal resources available to Maui, including FEMA
- 1:21:11Speaker 12: personnel and National Guard soldiers. You can help Maui's relief
- 1:21:16Speaker 12: efforts with a donation by simply texting the word red
- 1:21:19Speaker 12: Cross to nine zero nine nine nine. That's text the
- 1:21:23Speaker 12: word red Cross to nine zero nine nine nine if
- 1:21:26Speaker 12: you want to donate today.
- 1:21:29Speaker 6: Steve all right, good, hey, my clothes remarks today is
- 1:21:33Speaker 6: going to be a little bit of an encouragement. I
- 1:21:38Speaker 6: was it a at a dinner last night with some
- 1:21:42Speaker 6: business people and they were complimenting me on a lot
- 1:21:46Speaker 6: of stuff they see on me on TikTok so forth soul.
- 1:21:50Speaker 6: I was sitting there listening to him, and the guy
- 1:21:53Speaker 6: asked me. He said, mister Harvey, if if that was
- 1:21:57Speaker 6: one piece of advice you wish you had known all
- 1:22:04Speaker 6: along that you know now that you wish you had
- 1:22:06Speaker 6: known all along. And it was very simple because it
- 1:22:09Speaker 6: took me to something I was talking about recently. I
- 1:22:12Speaker 6: was watching something on TV and these group of older
- 1:22:16Speaker 6: actors were sitting around, and one of them was Tom Hanks,
- 1:22:20Speaker 6: and they were talking about, what's the one thing you've
- 1:22:22Speaker 6: learned that you wish you had known?
- 1:22:24Speaker 7: And Tom Hanks said, this too shall pass.
- 1:22:28Speaker 6: And I can't tell you how that resounded with me,
- 1:22:32Speaker 6: because had I known that years ago like I know
- 1:22:37Speaker 6: it now, I could have saved myself a ton of
- 1:22:41Speaker 6: wary I could have saved myself blood pressure. I could
- 1:22:47Speaker 6: have saved myself anxiety. You know, because anxiety is usually
- 1:22:57Speaker 6: produced if from you're worry or concerned about what someone
- 1:23:05Speaker 6: else is going to do. That's usually the base of
- 1:23:10Speaker 6: most anxiety. You are concerned about something that someone else
- 1:23:18Speaker 6: may say or do, and it causes you anxiety. That's
- 1:23:22Speaker 6: not all of it, but that's a lot of it.
- 1:23:25Speaker 6: If you think back in your life, how many times
- 1:23:28Speaker 6: you've been concerned with what might happen to you based
- 1:23:30Speaker 6: on what somebody could do or say, and you become
- 1:23:33Speaker 6: anxious about it. But that causes anxiety. I wonder how
- 1:23:36Speaker 6: they gonna feel. I wonder what happened when I walk
- 1:23:38Speaker 6: out here. I wonder what happened if they see me
- 1:23:40Speaker 6: do this.
- 1:23:41Speaker 7: I wonder what.
- 1:23:42Speaker 6: Happened if they find out I ain't got it like
- 1:23:44Speaker 6: I said I had it. I wonder what would happened
- 1:23:46Speaker 6: if they asked me this. I wonder what the jury
- 1:23:49Speaker 6: gonna say. I wonder what the police gonna say to me?
- 1:23:51Speaker 6: Ask me anxiety. But when I heard Tom Hanks say
- 1:23:57Speaker 6: this too show Pass, I thought about all the worry
- 1:24:02Speaker 6: I've had in my life, all the moments of anxiety,
- 1:24:07Speaker 6: worrying about something that was beyond my control. When you
- 1:24:14Speaker 6: are overly concerned about something you cannot control, it produces anxiety.
- 1:24:21Speaker 6: And everything I've ever troubled myself with, everything I've ever
- 1:24:27Speaker 6: gone through, and was thinking how unsurmountable.
- 1:24:31Speaker 18: It was.
- 1:24:32Speaker 6: Do you know that every last one of those things
- 1:24:36Speaker 6: in my life as well as yours, you have gotten
- 1:24:39Speaker 6: past them all.
- 1:24:41Speaker 7: Every single one of them.
- 1:24:44Speaker 6: When you were worrying about the outcome, No matter how
- 1:24:49Speaker 6: the outcome came.
- 1:24:50Speaker 5: Or with.
- 1:24:52Speaker 6: You survived it. You got past it. See now I
- 1:24:57Speaker 6: know that this too shall pay. Now I know when
- 1:25:02Speaker 6: I'm in a valley that I ain't gonna stay there
- 1:25:04Speaker 6: all ways. Now I know when, when, when, when troubles
- 1:25:10Speaker 6: befall me or beset me, I already know that this
- 1:25:14Speaker 6: too shall pass. I've had so many experiences over my
- 1:25:19Speaker 6: sixty six that I have learned completely that no matter
- 1:25:25Speaker 6: what has happened to me, no matter what befalls me,
- 1:25:29Speaker 6: no matter what set of circumstances I find myself, no
- 1:25:33Speaker 6: matter how chance plays out in my life, it's gonna
- 1:25:36Speaker 6: be all right. I'm gonna be all right. I'm gonna
- 1:25:40Speaker 6: get through it. This tooth shall pass. So now, which
- 1:25:44Speaker 6: stuff happens to me, I have a track record of
- 1:25:47Speaker 6: surviving so much stuff. And I want you all to
- 1:25:49Speaker 6: look at yourself this way. You have an outstanding track
- 1:25:53Speaker 6: record of surviving hard times and bad situations.
- 1:25:58Speaker 7: And if you think about it enough this before.
- 1:26:00Speaker 6: Your track records for surviving hard times and bad decisions
- 1:26:06Speaker 6: and hardships, your track record for surviving them is one
- 1:26:11Speaker 6: hundred percent.
- 1:26:13Speaker 7: You have survived them all, even if you're in the
- 1:26:16Speaker 7: midst of it right now.
- 1:26:19Speaker 6: Can't you see how he done wrapped his arms around
- 1:26:22Speaker 6: you without you asking?
- 1:26:24Speaker 7: Can't you see how he'd uncoverage you?
- 1:26:27Speaker 6: The slings, the arrows, the fires they starting, the bullets
- 1:26:32Speaker 6: they shooting, the arrows they got coming your way. The writings,
- 1:26:37Speaker 6: the gossip, the rumor, the haters, the dislikes, the comments.
- 1:26:41Speaker 7: The blogs.
- 1:26:43Speaker 6: When you look at all of it, you still hear
- 1:26:45Speaker 6: and you're gonna be all right, you know why, because
- 1:26:48Speaker 6: this too shall pass, and it will Keep that in mind, y'all,
- 1:26:52Speaker 6: no matter what you're going through, this too shall pass.
- 1:26:55Speaker 6: Keep the faith, keep praying about it, prayer without ceasing,
- 1:27:00Speaker 6: and just know that this too shall pass.
- 1:27:03Speaker 7: And it will. Now.
- 1:27:05Speaker 6: It may not pass when you want it, that's for sure,
- 1:27:08Speaker 6: But when you walk through the fire, you will not
- 1:27:11Speaker 6: get burned, nor will sit in kinderly and soot be
- 1:27:14Speaker 6: on your clothing. I mean, you can walk through the
- 1:27:17Speaker 6: fire and you won't even have no signs of it
