- 1:31Speaker 5: I can't.
- 1:40Speaker 1: I got to turn the mouth turn.
- 1:43Speaker 6: You probably got to turn the mouth turn mount turn
- 1:46Speaker 6: the word of the mony UPO me.
- 1:55Speaker 4: Come come out.
- 1:59Speaker 1: Your ah, I shall.
- 2:02Speaker 7: Well, good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, come
- 2:07Speaker 7: on digging now, one and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:10Speaker 7: radio show. Okay, I want to talk to you today
- 2:20Speaker 7: about success. But I want to talk to you about
- 2:24Speaker 7: it like I usually do in terms of a principle
- 2:28Speaker 7: of it, but I want to share something with you
- 2:31Speaker 7: about it.
- 2:33Speaker 1: And I was talking to my daughter about it.
- 2:36Speaker 7: I've talked about my son in law about it, talked
- 2:39Speaker 7: about it with all my children, and I'm really starting
- 2:41Speaker 7: to express it to them now because I'm talking to
- 2:45Speaker 7: a wide range of people constantly. But I want to
- 2:48Speaker 7: share something with you. If you have any aspiration of
- 2:52Speaker 7: being successful, I want you to realize, starting right now,
- 2:58Speaker 7: the effort that is going to require. And that's why
- 3:01Speaker 7: I think it stops a lot of people. I think
- 3:04Speaker 7: a lot of people are never told or don't understand
- 3:08Speaker 7: the sheer effort that it takes to become successful at
- 3:12Speaker 7: anything in any area of your life. If you think
- 3:16Speaker 7: that doing your best is enough, that I got news
- 3:20Speaker 7: for you.
- 3:20Speaker 1: It's not.
- 3:22Speaker 7: Well, Steve, What if you've done your best, though, and
- 3:27Speaker 7: your best ain't good enough? Well, let me ask you
- 3:30Speaker 7: that same question.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Hold on.
- 3:32Speaker 7: If you want to be successful and you've done your
- 3:35Speaker 7: best and best isn't good enough? What you threw that's it.
- 3:39Speaker 7: But Steve, it was my best. No no, no, no no.
- 3:43Speaker 7: It was the best you had at that time, in
- 3:45Speaker 7: that particular day. But tomorrow adds something to it.
- 3:52Speaker 1: You've never done everything.
- 3:54Speaker 7: There is no you can't go no more, you can't
- 3:57Speaker 7: add no more. I've seen marathonrunners end up crawling across
- 4:02Speaker 7: the line. I've seen triathlone people man just staggering in
- 4:06Speaker 7: the street and didn't want nobody to help them because
- 4:09Speaker 7: they knew they would disqualify them from the race. You
- 4:12Speaker 7: got more? Have you ever dipped into your reserve tank?
- 4:19Speaker 7: That's what we're talking about now. See all of us
- 4:22Speaker 7: have a reserve tank.
- 4:24Speaker 1: You know, you know. On my ranch, I like to
- 4:26Speaker 1: ride four wheelers.
- 4:27Speaker 7: I have all terrain vehicles, and all of them have
- 4:31Speaker 7: a gas tank on it and a gas tank in
- 4:34Speaker 7: most of mine. Let me see all of them. Yeah,
- 4:36Speaker 7: all of them have gas tank needles on them, and
- 4:38Speaker 7: it lets me know. When I get down towards eight,
- 4:42Speaker 7: there's a little lane that's red that lets me know. Okay, Steve,
- 4:46Speaker 7: you're in the danger zone. Now you're riding into the
- 4:49Speaker 7: lowest part of your tank. But if I keep riding
- 4:52Speaker 7: and I forget to get some gas in there, guess
- 4:55Speaker 7: what when it runs out of gas. All of my
- 4:59Speaker 7: all terrain vehicles, all of them, Honda, Polaris, all of them.
- 5:04Speaker 7: Those are the makers. There's a button on the gas
- 5:08Speaker 7: tank itself that I can click and it says reserve.
- 5:13Speaker 7: That means they know that for the hard core riders,
- 5:18Speaker 7: they're gonna ride somewhere, they're gonna get themselves in a
- 5:21Speaker 7: situation and they're gonna run out of everything.
- 5:24Speaker 1: They gonna run out of road, they're gonna run out
- 5:26Speaker 1: of gas.
- 5:28Speaker 7: They've prepared because they know for the hard core rider,
- 5:31Speaker 7: every hard core rider needs a reserve tank. And so
- 5:35Speaker 7: there's a button that you can click on the gas
- 5:38Speaker 7: tank that clicks it into a reserve, and it'll give
- 5:41Speaker 7: you about fifty miles or twenty miles worth of gas
- 5:45Speaker 7: in that Now, guess what in that reserve That may
- 5:49Speaker 7: be all you need to get you the where you're going,
- 5:53Speaker 7: or get you back to safety so you can refuel.
- 5:56Speaker 7: Don't tell me you've done your best. When your best,
- 5:59Speaker 7: don't cut it. What you're gonna do. See when best
- 6:04Speaker 7: is possible, then good enough ain't enough. See that's good enough.
- 6:10Speaker 7: But if the best it is possible, why would you
- 6:12Speaker 7: not shoot for that? And you you are all capable
- 6:15Speaker 7: of making it. But you've got to change your mindset
- 6:18Speaker 7: and realize the effort that has to be put forth
- 6:22Speaker 7: in becoming successful. You've got to do it relentlessly, over
- 6:27Speaker 7: and over and over and over and every day. I
- 6:30Speaker 7: try to do something to progress my life for the better.
- 6:34Speaker 7: I try to do something every day. I wake up
- 6:37Speaker 7: every day with the plan. Some phone calls, some meetings,
- 6:40Speaker 7: some some some some interviews. Something man that's going to
- 6:44Speaker 7: advance and move the brand forward. Because here's what's gonna happen.
- 6:48Speaker 7: You are Let's say you reach your goal. Let's say
- 6:51Speaker 7: your goal is to make now one hundred thousand dollars.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Well, I got news for you. Listen to this.
- 6:59Speaker 7: When you make the one hundred thousand dollars, you can't
- 7:02Speaker 7: go nowhere and go on vacation and put your hand
- 7:04Speaker 7: behind your head and say I made one hundred thousand dollars.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Guess what you got to do.
- 7:09Speaker 7: You got to find a way now to maintain that
- 7:12Speaker 7: one hundred thousand, to keep it coming in. See, you
- 7:16Speaker 7: can't just get there and stop and rest and whoa.
- 7:19Speaker 7: It is harder to maintain your success than it is
- 7:23Speaker 7: to get successful.
- 7:25Speaker 1: See. Let's say, let me show you that. Suppose it
- 7:28Speaker 1: takes you.
- 7:30Speaker 7: Five to eight years to find a way to make
- 7:35Speaker 7: fifty thousand dollars. Let's say it takes you five to
- 7:38Speaker 7: eight years to find a way to make an extra
- 7:40Speaker 7: fifty thousand dollars, and you finally, through work and effort,
- 7:44Speaker 7: you get to the fifty thousand dollars. More, it's only
- 7:50Speaker 7: just begun now, because guess what, in order to keep
- 7:53Speaker 7: the fifty coming in, you gotta duplicate what you did
- 7:58Speaker 7: to get there. And then, oh, here's what you're going
- 8:02Speaker 7: to have the audacity being a human being, You're gonna
- 8:05Speaker 7: want another fifty because you're a human being because you
- 8:11Speaker 7: gotta have something else to shoot for. Now you're gonna
- 8:13Speaker 7: want another fifty. Well, now that guess what you gotta
- 8:15Speaker 7: do now, Now you gotta do what you did before.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Fuck plus you gotta come up with something else.
- 8:21Speaker 7: Then after that you're gonna have the audacity because you're human,
- 8:24Speaker 7: You're gonna want another fifty.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Says how this works?
- 8:30Speaker 7: And see that that's the importance of your relationship with
- 8:34Speaker 7: God because you're gonna constantly need it and ain't have
- 8:37Speaker 7: have a point where you're gonna be through needing it.
- 8:39Speaker 7: But they ain't gonna become a point in your life
- 8:41Speaker 7: where you're going through. Won't be through, won't nothing unless
- 8:44Speaker 7: you don just gave up. And if you done gave up,
- 8:46Speaker 7: who wants that? Come on, y'all, this is going to
- 8:50Speaker 7: take quite a bit of effort, and if you think
- 8:54Speaker 7: it'll come to you any other way, you're sadly mistaken.
- 8:58Speaker 7: Because of all the successful people I know, I know
- 9:01Speaker 7: that the effort they put out on a daily basis
- 9:03Speaker 7: is daunting, and I think that the average person just
- 9:05Speaker 7: doesn't understand the requirement of time and effort that it
- 9:10Speaker 7: takes to get that and willingness to put it out.
- 9:13Speaker 7: You got to cut a lot of monkey business out
- 9:15Speaker 7: your life. All that hanging out, all that late and
- 9:19Speaker 7: all that club and all that drinking, all that. You
- 9:22Speaker 7: got to cut a whole lot of.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Monkey business out to be successful. Man, if you're planning
- 9:28Speaker 1: on being successful.
- 9:30Speaker 7: Get up early, stay up late, work, try, think, meet, greet, smile, attract.
- 9:38Speaker 1: It takes a lot, let's go, but you can do it.
- 9:40Speaker 7: God is pressed to passing out blessings all day long.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Why are you not in line for yours?
- 9:46Speaker 7: I'm telling you right now, I want everything God got
- 9:49Speaker 7: for me because what he's shown me so far.
- 9:51Speaker 1: Who if he got some moke man or man? How
- 9:55Speaker 1: good is God? Huh?
- 9:59Speaker 7: Morning show, ladies and gentlemen. Let me have your attention today.
- 10:05Speaker 7: Is here another great gift from God. I'm beyond grateful.
- 10:08Speaker 7: I want you to join in with that attitude today.
- 10:12Speaker 7: Have gratitude. Man, in your life. It may not be
- 10:15Speaker 7: going exactly the way you want it, but you do
- 10:18Speaker 7: realize it could be going a whole lot worse. And
- 10:21Speaker 7: you gotta thank God for the small things and the
- 10:23Speaker 7: blessings that you are here to deal with it and
- 10:26Speaker 7: operate it and function within it.
- 10:28Speaker 1: It's gonna be okay. Always remember this.
- 10:30Speaker 7: I heard Tom Hanks say this, and I wished I
- 10:33Speaker 7: had known this as a younger man. This too shall pass. Man,
- 10:39Speaker 7: If you could just remember that, this too shall pass.
- 10:43Speaker 7: I don't care how dog it look for you right now.
- 10:46Speaker 7: Just if God waken you up, that means this past

- 12:58Speaker 8: had questions. I didn't even know he's standing there so
- 13:01Speaker 8: hard with the address on. I said, he okay, now
- 13:03Speaker 8: I need some I need some answers. I just want
- 13:05Speaker 8: to what's going on?
- 13:07Speaker 1: You don't talk to him. It was all weekend. Everybody
- 13:09Speaker 1: had a moment a heart awareness. Yeah yeah, we found
- 13:16Speaker 1: out it was heart disease is serious. Yeah yeah, dresses
- 13:21Speaker 1: was serious. So that's how we ain't talking about the show.
- 13:25Speaker 1: No moment. Okay, get back.
- 13:30Speaker 10: Looking at questions coming up to thirty minutes.
- 13:37Speaker 1: So you know what that means.

- 13:43Speaker 11: You're listening hard morning show.
- 13:47Speaker 10: It is time now for church complaints with Reverend Motown
- 13:49Speaker 10: and Deacon deaf jam.
- 13:53Speaker 7: We galfl be poscuriously m defined. We particulate all the
- 14:09Speaker 7: things that are ostracized, knowing that nothing is notarized without
- 14:18Speaker 7: it first being homogenized.
- 14:22Speaker 1: That's a word right there, you say it sound right
- 14:25Speaker 1: that back?
- 14:27Speaker 7: I know and know how I know what specially is.
- 14:32Speaker 7: I can't repeat it.
- 14:34Speaker 1: You got about milk or I know from whence that coming?
- 14:41Speaker 7: But when millions come to me, they come and go
- 14:45Speaker 7: right away. Hey, now, all right here we go. Let
- 14:49Speaker 7: us begin with the complaints of this church and I
- 14:52Speaker 7: will deal accordingly.
- 14:55Speaker 5: Yeah, we got an issue past that a lot of
- 14:59Speaker 5: people would staying yesterday on Sunday, we are missing fifty
- 15:06Speaker 5: two folding chairs out of the sanctuary.
- 15:11Speaker 1: I don't know what we gonna do.
- 15:13Speaker 5: But if fifty two chairs are missing and people are
- 15:15Speaker 5: just standing up in the back, what do you suggest?
- 15:19Speaker 5: But they are starting to steal all of our folding chairs.
- 15:24Speaker 7: Well, I'm just gonna admit something. Those chairs have not
- 15:28Speaker 7: been stolen. They were donated. I donated those chairs to
- 15:35Speaker 7: the dock down in Montgomery, Alabama's or those chairs are
- 15:41Speaker 7: now people don't stand at the dock. They sit at
- 15:44Speaker 7: the dock waiting on a repeat of what happened earlier
- 15:51Speaker 7: this month.
- 15:52Speaker 1: That's what's going on, and so.
- 15:54Speaker 7: Therefore there will be more folding challs available for for
- 16:00Speaker 7: your old personal use.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:04Speaker 7: Well we sent them down there to do what they
- 16:06Speaker 7: was made to do, that was to sit in Uh.
- 16:09Speaker 7: But if you slap another black man, then they they're
- 16:15Speaker 7: already there.
- 16:21Speaker 5: Get ready, hello, Hello, So the chairs on the dock
- 16:25Speaker 5: belongs to the jackpipe, join the direction donated there.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Good deal, all right?
- 16:31Speaker 5: Past sister Brenda Child's you know, she's six five years old.
- 16:36Speaker 1: She went to a Drake concert.
- 16:38Speaker 5: Now, she got so into the moment that she threw
- 16:42Speaker 5: her farty eight trip of d broad on the stage
- 16:45Speaker 5: and now she don't have this is a special maid
- 16:48Speaker 5: brad here and now she wants the church to have
- 16:51Speaker 5: a broad drive to help her get a broad back that's.
- 16:56Speaker 1: Gonna fit her. I don't know what to tell her.
- 16:59Speaker 1: I tell her, I would tell.
- 17:00Speaker 7: Well what what what she needed to do is be
- 17:03Speaker 7: quiet because the police are looking for her because they
- 17:06Speaker 7: didn't know what that was when she threw it on stage.
- 17:09Speaker 7: All of a sudden, drake and the microphone disappeared, and
- 17:12Speaker 7: no one has seen drake s.
- 17:16Speaker 1: So I would be careful with.
- 17:18Speaker 7: Wanting to admit that you're the one that threw that
- 17:21Speaker 7: big giant ass top up on that street, because anybody
- 17:24Speaker 7: have seen that?
- 17:24Speaker 9: Boy?
- 17:26Speaker 1: Ain't nobody seen that boy?
- 17:27Speaker 5: You for the.
- 17:31Speaker 1: That's a you had that outside?
- 17:35Speaker 5: Sister, that ain't that's a tepee.
- 17:39Speaker 1: That's not that man talking because we have breast hello,
- 17:49Speaker 1: thank you. Well, well, well we do know who we
- 17:52Speaker 1: ain't heard nothing from him. She doesn't have a mic.
- 18:00Speaker 5: Pastor brother Clarence, Uh, we got an issue.
- 18:04Speaker 1: You know.
- 18:05Speaker 5: He has one of those walkie and tubs and uh
- 18:08Speaker 5: supposed to be he's been in there since Friday. He
- 18:11Speaker 5: is stuck in that tub. It is the one with
- 18:13Speaker 5: the dough on it. Now, his wife, Ernest Steven was
- 18:15Speaker 5: taking him food and everything, but she stopped because she
- 18:18Speaker 5: realized he was gonna have to go to the bathroom real.
- 18:20Speaker 5: So he wants to see if a few of uh,
- 18:22Speaker 5: if you and a few men from the truck to
- 18:24Speaker 5: go over there and try to open that door to
- 18:26Speaker 5: that walk in tub and help clans get out of that.
- 18:30Speaker 7: Why don't he just lean his stomach over the top
- 18:32Speaker 7: of it and fall out, and he stuck that then
- 18:38Speaker 7: he can't get his stomach up. I don't Oh no, no, no, no,
- 18:42Speaker 7: no no, I've seen him walk in those ain't that
- 18:45Speaker 7: house right? Tail brother was bro brother clan tail brother
- 18:54Speaker 7: claar stand up, lay his stomach over the door and
- 18:57Speaker 7: leans folk that ass right out there tub? And then
- 19:03Speaker 7: you know he's the water in there too. Now, well,
- 19:07Speaker 7: all the water ain't gonna come out?
- 19:08Speaker 1: What what what is we want? We need to hear up.
- 19:10Speaker 7: Wall it's just water, because says right assing, there's gonna
- 19:18Speaker 7: be a septic. Think in a minute, because let him
- 19:20Speaker 7: get out. Now, come on.
- 19:27Speaker 5: All right, pastor you're gonna have to talk to brother
- 19:32Speaker 5: Sunday College. Now you know Sonny College. He's the local
- 19:35Speaker 5: Shade treementchanic. Now, our side of his shop is an old,
- 19:40Speaker 5: hearse old Hurts and the writing on the side says, uh,
- 19:45Speaker 5: we sell body parts. You're gonna have to talk to
- 19:48Speaker 5: him about his advertising technique and this is bad.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Oh, I happen to agree with him.
- 19:55Speaker 7: Or it's very catchy to have a Hurts and then
- 19:58Speaker 7: you gotta garage you sell body Paul.
- 20:03Speaker 1: Patter. That's really distaste for, to be honest with you.
- 20:07Speaker 7: Most or Shade Tree Mechanics is distasteful people. If they
- 20:14Speaker 7: was all that tasty, they'd be working down at Jiffy
- 20:17Speaker 7: Loube exactly. Now you're making sense now you now listen,
- 20:22Speaker 7: let the man alone and you the herds ain't moved,
- 20:26Speaker 7: and the wild might have well use it for advertising,
- 20:29Speaker 7: when when those withou the least have to do the most.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, let him use you. Let him.
- 20:39Speaker 7: Right.
- 20:39Speaker 1: That's gonna be it for the day.
- 20:43Speaker 10: That's good, all right, thank you, Pastor Town Teacon.
- 20:49Speaker 1: Depth Jam.
- 20:50Speaker 10: Coming up next, it is as the Chief Love Officer,
- 20:53Speaker 10: Steve Harvey as the CELO. You're listening Harvey Morning Show
- 20:59Speaker 10: coming up at the top of the hour. In entertainment news,
- 21:02Speaker 10: Beyonce's Renaissance World Tour is breaking records.

- 21:08Speaker 10: Actor and comedian Chris Tucker returns to stand up with
- 21:11Speaker 10: the Legend tour, and the fiftieth anniversary of hip Hop
- 21:14Speaker 10: was celebrated in the Bronx on Friday. That's all coming up,
- 21:18Speaker 10: like I said at the top of the hour, but

- 22:44Speaker 10: a video that I took of us in the act.
- 22:47Speaker 10: Part of me says, don't do it. And should I
- 22:49Speaker 10: settle the score or not? Is her question.

- 23:29Speaker 1: She already.
- 23:31Speaker 7: Look, everybody pay for every all of their sins, don't
- 23:34Speaker 7: You don't.
- 23:35Speaker 1: You don't get to skipped through free.
- 23:37Speaker 7: And just because you don't know how the payment worked out,
- 23:40Speaker 7: it ain't up to you to decide what payment is.
- 23:42Speaker 7: That's why they say vengeance is mine, said the lord,
- 23:45Speaker 7: because once you start getting in there, then you got
- 23:47Speaker 7: to pay for your wrong too. Now you sleeping with
- 23:50Speaker 7: a married man, you're gonna have to pay for that.
- 23:53Speaker 7: You viding made a video. You do know when you
- 23:55Speaker 7: send a video, you're gonna be any video now in nothing.
- 23:58Speaker 7: Say she done got to pos that video which would

- 24:07Speaker 7: right when you dig that hole, dig too?
- 24:11Speaker 1: All right?
- 24:11Speaker 10: Moving on, I hope you got that, Virginia. Moving on
- 24:14Speaker 10: to Faye and Richmond. They says, I've been married nine years,
- 24:18Speaker 10: and my husband has never once washed clothes. I got
- 24:21Speaker 10: home from a revival and he had washed our bedding
- 24:24Speaker 10: and the towels. He said he was trying to surprise
- 24:27Speaker 10: me and be nice. Would I be wrong to second
- 24:30Speaker 10: guess him?
- 24:32Speaker 1: Yeah? Going second?
- 24:33Speaker 7: So what you think you think he had somebody in
- 24:35Speaker 7: the bed that's why he was, Yeah, washing the bed
- 24:39Speaker 7: sheets and stuff washing. Why wouldn't he just throw them away?
- 24:45Speaker 1: She would ask, she really, where's my way to comfort her?
- 24:48Speaker 1: And what and the towels?
- 24:54Speaker 7: We better go answer that question then then than this
- 24:58Speaker 7: hell ignorant mess she came up with. And I'm not
- 25:03Speaker 7: really the one that asks, because I ain't washed the
- 25:05Speaker 7: damn thing and I can't even count the years.
- 25:08Speaker 9: I don't know neither her husband.
- 25:10Speaker 7: And I don't even know really how to turn the
- 25:14Speaker 7: washing machine on no more. They got these new ones now,
- 25:17Speaker 7: and they got all these instructions on them.
- 25:19Speaker 1: I don't even know. But they got power. But what
- 25:22Speaker 1: do you do the power?
- 25:24Speaker 7: But then what I do after that?
- 25:28Speaker 1: Put the put the detergent in rest of the time?
- 25:31Speaker 1: Who who put the detergent?
- 25:33Speaker 7: Where where it goes? And where's that? Because it don't
- 25:38Speaker 7: look like what happened to just pull it in and
- 25:46Speaker 7: there on the clothes. That's the last time I washed
- 25:51Speaker 7: some clothes.
- 25:52Speaker 1: Wow, you pull it in and then.
- 25:54Speaker 7: You pull pull the stuff up, you sprinkle the powder
- 25:57Speaker 7: on top of all the clothes, and then you shut
- 25:59Speaker 7: it and cut it on. They don't do that no more.
- 26:02Speaker 7: See that right there?
- 26:03Speaker 1: And that's all I got for you.
- 26:05Speaker 2: All right?
- 26:05Speaker 9: Well, her husband hasn't washed in nine years, So that's.
- 26:09Speaker 7: I got your husband beat, all right?
- 26:17Speaker 1: So uh so should she second guess him? That's her question?
- 26:22Speaker 1: No second guessing for what? But your second guessing.
- 26:26Speaker 10: Saying why would he wash these clothes? He hasn't washed
- 26:28Speaker 10: clothes in nine years? While all of a sudden is
- 26:32Speaker 10: he washing the linen?
- 26:34Speaker 1: I don't know what are.
- 26:35Speaker 7: You trying to make it out to be?
- 26:37Speaker 9: The bedroom?
- 26:41Speaker 1: Yeah, and they messed up the bed linen.
- 26:44Speaker 7: Really you you're not you're not even You don't have
- 26:46Speaker 7: a suspicion that your husband is cheating.
- 26:49Speaker 1: Your stun that he washed.
- 26:51Speaker 7: Something after nine years? Yes, but now you're gonna introduce
- 26:55Speaker 7: cheating into the men.
- 26:57Speaker 1: That's crazy to me. That's why, all of a sudden
- 27:01Speaker 1: would he do this? That's what it is.
- 27:04Speaker 7: To pay his ways, Shirley, you want y'all sitting up
- 27:08Speaker 7: here though, y'all done added this into and y'all okay
- 27:12Speaker 7: with it.
- 27:14Speaker 6: I don't think he cheated, but I'm saying that's where
- 27:17Speaker 6: she's coming from.
- 27:18Speaker 1: Hello. I think she.
- 27:20Speaker 6: Complained about him not doing anything washing, so I think
- 27:23Speaker 6: he just said, well, I do the beds and the towels.
- 27:26Speaker 6: I don't think this man is crazy enough to cheat
- 27:28Speaker 6: and bring another woman to his bedroom in his house.
- 27:33Speaker 1: Stupid. That's me from a revival.
- 27:38Speaker 10: And he had washed our bedding and the towels.
- 27:41Speaker 1: But revival.
- 27:45Speaker 9: Sometimes suspicious.
- 27:46Speaker 1: It must have been something else.
- 27:48Speaker 10: Yes, she's suspicious of him after nine years of not washing.
- 27:53Speaker 1: I wonder if he used game though? Did he use
- 27:55Speaker 1: gaould you rather?
- 28:01Speaker 9: Are you stunned to Steve?
- 28:03Speaker 1: Yeah? I'm just how you just soaked? What? Why? Why
- 28:08Speaker 1: is it down with y'all? I don't even mind Stan,
- 28:11Speaker 1: Because when you change your behavior, I mean, it don't
- 28:15Speaker 1: mean you've changed. But that ain't want it mean.
- 28:18Speaker 10: Though he changed after nine years he washed something, that's
- 28:22Speaker 10: a change anyway.

- 54:46Speaker 10: before I become a wife. The main thing I want
- 54:49Speaker 10: and need to do would definitely end my relationship with
- 54:53Speaker 10: my man. There is an annual HBCU game in Miami
- 54:58Speaker 10: around Labor Day, and I'm going to the game with
- 55:01Speaker 10: my crew from college. The crew is not just girls,
- 55:04Speaker 10: it's guys too, and we're getting an airbnb on the water.
- 55:09Speaker 10: I'm the DJ of the crew, so I can't miss out.
- 55:12Speaker 10: I haven't even told my boyfriend that I'm going because
- 55:15Speaker 10: he will automatically go into planning mode. I will have
- 55:18Speaker 10: to tell him he's not going, and that could get messy.
- 55:21Speaker 10: Since he takes me to all of his work functions
- 55:24Speaker 10: and family outings with his parents. I love how this
- 55:28Speaker 10: man loves me, and I can see myself being submissive
- 55:31Speaker 10: to him.
- 55:32Speaker 1: But not yet.
- 55:34Speaker 10: Before all of that happens, I need to have sex
- 55:37Speaker 10: with my ex one or two more times in Miami.
- 55:42Speaker 10: He will be staying in our airbnb, so it's bound
- 55:45Speaker 10: to happen. I need just one weekend where I'm single
- 55:49Speaker 10: and won't have to answer my man's calls morning, noon,
- 55:52Speaker 10: and night. I'm thinking of starting an argument and telling
- 55:55Speaker 10: him he hurt my feelings and I need to have
- 55:58Speaker 10: quality time with my friends. I can't control social media pictures,
- 56:02Speaker 10: so I have to come up with a good lie
- 56:04Speaker 10: to cover up anything he might see. I need three
- 56:08Speaker 10: or four days, So how do I temporarily break up
- 56:11Speaker 10: with him? Okay, temporarily break up with him. Permanently break
- 56:16Speaker 10: up with him. One of those is going to happen
- 56:19Speaker 10: over this weekend if you do this, because I can't
- 56:21Speaker 10: believe you're serious. You're kidding, right, I mean, what a
- 56:24Speaker 10: way to start a new life with this guy. What
- 56:27Speaker 10: a way that you guys are talking about marriage. What
- 56:29Speaker 10: a way to start a marriage right after you sleep
- 56:32Speaker 10: with your.
- 56:32Speaker 9: Ex one or two more times.
- 56:35Speaker 10: I mean, I do appreciate the fact that you're trying
- 56:37Speaker 10: to do this before you walk down the aisle and
- 56:40Speaker 10: get married, But it really doesn't sound like you're ready
- 56:43Speaker 10: to be a wife at all. I mean, you are
- 56:45Speaker 10: still in a relationship with your new man, but you're
- 56:49Speaker 10: planning out how you're going to cheat and what lies
- 56:53Speaker 10: you're going to tell him already.
- 56:56Speaker 1: Why don't you just wait a while before you marry him?
- 56:58Speaker 1: What's the rush? What is the rush with this guy?
- 57:02Speaker 1: Then you could do whatever you want to? Okay?
- 57:04Speaker 10: And have you ever thought what would happen if you
- 57:06Speaker 10: get caught? You know, in all these lies and stuff
- 57:09Speaker 10: that you're planning out. This sounds like a good man
- 57:12Speaker 10: to have. He does sound like a good guy. So
- 57:16Speaker 10: maybe there's something you're not satisfied with. Is he not
- 57:19Speaker 10: good in bed or something? Is that why you want
- 57:21Speaker 10: to go back with your ex?
- 57:22Speaker 1: Maybe you're just greedy? You want everything, you want everybody.
- 57:26Speaker 10: He's already introduced you to his family and his friends
- 57:29Speaker 10: and taking you to work functions. He cares about you
- 57:32Speaker 10: and doesn't deserve to be cheated on or treated like this.
- 57:35Speaker 10: Is your ex still interested in you? Or does he
- 57:38Speaker 10: just want to be with you?
- 57:39Speaker 1: You know?
- 57:40Speaker 10: When you guys hook up like this, I don't know.
- 57:43Speaker 10: You're talking about marriage and you're already thinking about planning
- 57:47Speaker 10: out cheating on your man. I definitely don't think you're
- 57:49Speaker 10: ready for love or marriage.
- 57:52Speaker 7: Steve, Well, I'll see what's happening in this letter, so
- 57:57Speaker 7: let's just go on and get to it.
- 57:59Speaker 1: Set it up. But this is the preface.
- 58:01Speaker 7: I've been dating a preacher's kid for eight months, and
- 58:05Speaker 7: we've been to Christian counseling and everything in hopes of
- 58:10Speaker 7: getting married soon.
- 58:11Speaker 1: See this was a setup. He's a preacher's kid, not her.
- 58:16Speaker 7: So because it's a preacher's kids, they've been going to
- 58:18Speaker 7: Christian counseling. This was his idea, not her, in hopes
- 58:23Speaker 7: of one of getting married soon. Now this woman is
- 58:26Speaker 7: thirty four and before I met this man, she said,
- 58:30Speaker 7: I've been single for five years because I'm attracted to
- 58:33Speaker 7: men that aren't ready to settle down.
- 58:36Speaker 1: Now what that means is for the.
- 58:38Speaker 7: Past five years, everybody she' don dated was just there
- 58:45Speaker 7: to do her.
- 58:46Speaker 1: That's what this line means.
- 58:49Speaker 7: She said, in counseling, I learned that I was attracting
- 58:53Speaker 7: what I was putting out there. Now I don't know
- 58:55Speaker 7: what in counseling, I don't know what this counselor said.
- 58:58Speaker 7: It made you come to this conclusion. But you did,
- 59:02Speaker 7: and so now we know that's how you are right.
- 59:05Speaker 7: For that reason, I don't want to lose this man,
- 59:08Speaker 7: but there are some things I need to get out
- 59:10Speaker 7: of my system before I become a wife. Now, if
- 59:13Speaker 7: you already know that there's something you need to get
- 59:16Speaker 7: out your system, why are you talking about becoming anybody's
- 59:19Speaker 7: wife before it's out your system? Y'all already in Christian counseling.
- 59:24Speaker 7: That ain't doing no damn good. So you know you
- 59:28Speaker 7: might as well. All you to do is find out
- 59:30Speaker 7: you like attracted me and that won't have nothing to
- 59:31Speaker 7: do with you except do But you still got that
- 59:35Speaker 7: in your system because that's what you want to do.
- 59:38Speaker 7: The main thing I want and need to do definitely
- 59:40Speaker 7: well in my relationship with my man. There's an annual
- 59:44Speaker 7: HBCU game in Miami around Labor Day, and I'm going
- 59:48Speaker 7: to the game with my crew from college. The crew
- 59:50Speaker 7: is not just girls, it's guys that were getting an
- 59:53Speaker 7: airbnb on the wire all y'all, all, y'all in the
- 59:59Speaker 7: same the whole crew. You the DJ ed the crew,
- 1:00:03Speaker 7: so I can't miss out. I haven't told my boyfriend
- 1:00:06Speaker 7: that I'm going because he will automatically going to play
- 1:00:08Speaker 7: an a more. Well, I know what you and the
- 1:00:11Speaker 7: crew do. See you and this crew, y'all been doing
- 1:00:14Speaker 7: this for a long time. This HBCU game is where
- 1:00:18Speaker 7: y'all go get buck wow, and you've been doing it
- 1:00:22Speaker 7: since college.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: Well, we come back, I'll tell you how this is
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: gonna go.
- 1:00:28Speaker 10: All right, we'll have part two of your response, Steve
- 1:00:30Speaker 10: coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour. Today
- 1:00:33Speaker 10: Strawberry letter subject how do I temporarily break.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: Up with him?
- 1:00:37Speaker 9: We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:40Speaker 11: You're listening Hardy Morning Show.
- 1:00:43Speaker 10: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:46Speaker 10: The subject is, how do I temporarily break up with him?
- 1:00:51Speaker 7: Well, this lady thirty four years old, dating this preacher's kid.
- 1:00:56Speaker 7: They've been going to Christian counciling, which is obviously his idea.
- 1:01:00Speaker 7: They talking about getting married soon.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: Now.
- 1:01:02Speaker 7: When she met this preacher's kid, she had been single
- 1:01:05Speaker 7: for five years prior, and all she was attracting that
- 1:01:08Speaker 7: men that aren't ready to settle down. So what that
- 1:01:11Speaker 7: means is all her relationship with all these men for
- 1:01:14Speaker 7: five years, they were just doing it so now and
- 1:01:17Speaker 7: then she found out in counseling that she was attracting
- 1:01:21Speaker 7: what she put out there. So and then for that reason,
- 1:01:24Speaker 7: she says, she don't want to lose this man, this
- 1:01:26Speaker 7: preacher's kid, but it's something in her system she need
- 1:01:29Speaker 7: to get out before she become a wife. It's a
- 1:01:31Speaker 7: HBCU game going down in Miami Labor Day weekend. Her
- 1:01:34Speaker 7: and her crew from college is going. She can't miss
- 1:01:37Speaker 7: it because she the DJ and and and that's why
- 1:01:41Speaker 7: she came missing.
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: Well, that ain't why your ass came missing.
- 1:01:46Speaker 7: I ain't told your boyfriend that I'm going, because he
- 1:01:48Speaker 7: gonna automatically go into planning mode.
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to.
- 1:01:52Speaker 7: Tell him that he's not going, and that could get
- 1:01:55Speaker 7: messy since he takes me to all his work functions
- 1:01:58Speaker 7: and family albums with his parents. I love how this
- 1:02:00Speaker 7: man loves me, and I can see myself being submissed
- 1:02:03Speaker 7: to it, but not yet.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: Well, then you ain't ready to get married. So what
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: y'all ain't counseling for?
- 1:02:11Speaker 7: People go to marriage counsel when they talking about getting married.
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: Why are you talking about getting married? You ain't ready?
- 1:02:19Speaker 7: You say before all that happens, I need to have
- 1:02:21Speaker 7: sex with my ex one or two more times. Well
- 1:02:24Speaker 7: that could be five or six, probably eight or nine
- 1:02:28Speaker 7: because your ex was bragging. But he your X for
- 1:02:33Speaker 7: a reason. But you don't know how to leave well
- 1:02:35Speaker 7: enough alone. You got a man that treats you well
- 1:02:38Speaker 7: and everything, and you say you love the way this
- 1:02:42Speaker 7: man treats you, and but you you want to go
- 1:02:46Speaker 7: and get done at this airbnb. Now you say, before
- 1:02:49Speaker 7: all that happens, I need to have sex with my
- 1:02:51Speaker 7: ex one or two more times in Miami. He gonna
- 1:02:54Speaker 7: be staying at our airbnb, so it's bound to happen. Well,
- 1:02:57Speaker 7: it's gonna happen because you want it to happen. It's
- 1:03:00Speaker 7: gonna happen because you're gonna let it happen. And that's
- 1:03:02Speaker 7: what y'all do at the HBCU game in Miami. Your
- 1:03:06Speaker 7: crew go down there and do each other. This ain't
- 1:03:09Speaker 7: nothing new, Okay. I just need one weekend while I'm
- 1:03:13Speaker 7: single and I won't have to answer my man's calls morning, noon,
- 1:03:16Speaker 7: and night. I'm thinking of starting an argument and telling
- 1:03:19Speaker 7: him he hurt my feelings and I need to have
- 1:03:21Speaker 7: some quality time with my friends.
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: Now, watch this stupid ass statement.
- 1:03:25Speaker 7: I can't control social media pictures, so I have to
- 1:03:27Speaker 7: come up with a good lie to cover up anything
- 1:03:30Speaker 7: he might see. I need three or four days, So
- 1:03:33Speaker 7: how do I temporarily break up with him? You don't.
- 1:03:36Speaker 7: Why don't you just break up with it? Why don't
- 1:03:38Speaker 7: you just telling him you're going somewhere. You need time
- 1:03:41Speaker 7: to think, and you do. And what you need to
- 1:03:44Speaker 7: think about is how you really don't need to be
- 1:03:46Speaker 7: married right now because you don't have a mental capacity
- 1:03:49Speaker 7: for marriage. If you get married right now, you're gonna
- 1:03:51Speaker 7: cheat on him because you don't even want to belong
- 1:03:54Speaker 7: to nobody, and you don't want nobody to belong to you.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: See, you want to just keep doing you.
- 1:04:01Speaker 7: And you can't use the word break up with a
- 1:04:03Speaker 7: man that's in love with you because all he gonna
- 1:04:05Speaker 7: hear is you gone.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: And you need more than counseling. That's what you need.
- 1:04:10Speaker 7: You need to have a real conversation with yourself and
- 1:04:13Speaker 7: you're admit to the truth of who you really are,
- 1:04:15Speaker 7: because you right now you're not the man type. You
- 1:04:17Speaker 7: ain't wifey material, you just not Yeah, really you need
- 1:04:23Speaker 7: just gone and just be and just be the chick
- 1:04:26Speaker 7: you are, yeah, because you ain't ready for this. You
- 1:04:30Speaker 7: gotta stay single, and I'm gonna tell you something else.
- 1:04:33Speaker 7: If you try to range, just you're gonna get caught
- 1:04:35Speaker 7: because you ain't good. No, you ain't good at this
- 1:04:39Speaker 7: at all. First of all, you wrote us it's right now.
- 1:04:42Speaker 7: Who in here don't know about the Airbnb at the
- 1:04:46Speaker 7: waterfront down in Miami doing the ABCU gaming on Labor
- 1:04:49Speaker 7: Day weekend. It's easy to figure out who this crew is.
- 1:04:53Speaker 7: And you the DJ, and you're thirty four. You put
- 1:04:57Speaker 7: all this in a letter you don't even know how to.
- 1:05:00Speaker 7: You told too much truth to start lying now, you dumb,
- 1:05:05Speaker 7: you dumb.
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: Somebody listening to this show that know you.
- 1:05:13Speaker 7: Herod did you right in the Steve because you know
- 1:05:15Speaker 7: he's thirty four. You got this dude that's a preacher's kid,
- 1:05:19Speaker 7: he's a good man.
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: You ain't counseling.
- 1:05:22Speaker 7: Your nose is gonna be at the an ad bn
- 1:05:25Speaker 7: B and you're finna go back to this fool her.
- 1:05:28Speaker 7: He didn't want you when you was with him, that's
- 1:05:29Speaker 7: why y'all broke up. But I just want to be
- 1:05:32Speaker 7: with him just one or two more time. But you're
- 1:05:34Speaker 7: gonna lose your good man, You're stupid.
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: That's how they're gonna say. Why are we talking to you?
- 1:05:45Speaker 7: Yeah, you ain't wifey material. Why don't you tell the
- 1:05:49Speaker 7: preacher's kid.
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: Hey, look, I just.
- 1:05:50Speaker 7: Say wife and I could see myself submitted to him,
- 1:05:54Speaker 7: but not yet what.
- 1:05:58Speaker 9: He takes her to? All this family functions to you
- 1:06:02Speaker 9: want to go.
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: To Miami by yourself going and go? What matter of fact?
- 1:06:07Speaker 7: Why don't you let this dude though, because you're here
- 1:06:09Speaker 7: a good dude. Man, You know he deserves somebody else.
- 1:06:14Speaker 7: He deserves somebody that won't help. I hate to see
- 1:06:17Speaker 7: men going through it like this. Women hate to see
- 1:06:19Speaker 7: women going through it. But all women listening to this
- 1:06:22Speaker 7: letter going, you got it?
- 1:06:23Speaker 6: Man?
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: You finish trading me in for some trick move over
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: Labor Day weekend? You stupid? Wait that damn good of
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: a DJ. I don't get you really ain't got that
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: many songs, all all the records you got, everybody that kid.
- 1:06:37Speaker 7: Can we got them saying songs they get Dougie fresh
- 1:06:43Speaker 7: and show enough turn up?
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: All right?

- 1:09:18Speaker 8: but you know the Texas won twenty to nine. I
- 1:09:20Speaker 8: just hold over the Patriots. I just want to point
- 1:09:22Speaker 8: that out. Yeah, definitely point that out.
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: That's the point that out. We may want that out
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: the whole season, so point that you might.
- 1:09:28Speaker 7: You can point that out a few weeks.
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: It's football back. I start trash talking man football, need
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: to help college football.
- 1:09:39Speaker 7: Something something baseball. I want to kill myself.
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: No it ain't.
- 1:09:45Speaker 5: It ain't baseball. It's said lacrosse. That be driving me crazy.

- 1:10:33Speaker 10: it's a group text with his boys, and instead of
- 1:10:36Speaker 10: checking it when it goes off, he said it's no
- 1:10:38Speaker 10: big deal and he'll read the messages later when he's alone.
- 1:10:41Speaker 10: He's constantly looking at his phone, but the minute I
- 1:10:45Speaker 10: walk in, he puts it face down or in his pocket.
- 1:10:49Speaker 10: Are group texts among men a thing or and if
- 1:10:52Speaker 10: so what are they talking about.
- 1:10:54Speaker 7: Well, I'm on a group text with twelve dude, and
- 1:10:58Speaker 7: sometimes it could be a mindless because they're old and
- 1:11:03Speaker 7: they group texts.
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: Be Okay, that's right, I agree.
- 1:11:08Speaker 7: Yeah, just be one liners. Yeah, right on, God bless
- 1:11:14Speaker 7: you know stuff like that. I don't like messages like that.
- 1:11:17Speaker 7: You know, then they then they don't learn how to
- 1:11:20Speaker 7: do the little heart stop that words, and so yeah,
- 1:11:25Speaker 7: it can happen. Now, the reason is going off on
- 1:11:29Speaker 7: vibrate because he don't have it on ring. And so
- 1:11:32Speaker 7: if his face down and he stopped when you come
- 1:11:35Speaker 7: in the room, maybe he tried to be respectful of
- 1:11:37Speaker 7: you and give you the one divided the two.
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: Okay, that's what it is. Y'all gonna accept this advice.
- 1:11:44Speaker 7: Okay, we don't have to, but I'm just giving you
- 1:11:51Speaker 7: an all to the thought process so you don't drive
- 1:11:53Speaker 7: yourself crazy because right now, yeah, I'm just saying, you know,
- 1:11:57Speaker 7: maybe he turned the phone upside down because all he
- 1:12:00Speaker 7: come to white man, let me give him my attention
- 1:12:02Speaker 7: and put it down and put it in my pocket.
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: That's what.
- 1:12:06Speaker 9: Here's the thought. Could it possibly be a female texting
- 1:12:11Speaker 9: yeah or something?
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: Yeah, imagine that Yeah, it could be quite possible. Yeah,
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: that's why he's turning it over and doesn't answer it
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: when she's around. Could it be that you think all
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: that could be the case, But he.
- 1:12:27Speaker 9: Told her it was a group of guys texting, and
- 1:12:30Speaker 9: that's what it is.
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: You shut up until you.
- 1:12:36Speaker 7: Could drive your ass crazy if you want to, or
- 1:12:40Speaker 7: you could just ask to let him see the text message.
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: The last text, what the fellas? What did the last
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: text safety? You not wanted the Fellas? You don't need
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: to know what this is? What did your name my
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: last group text for my girl?
- 1:12:53Speaker 5: I don't care nothing about your last group text.
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: That's reading on three one two three? Ain't no one
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: two read?
- 1:13:00Speaker 3: No, we're not.
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: This is because it's just the Fellers and I'm not
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: gonna have disrespect it that way.
- 1:13:08Speaker 5: We over here talking about what you rather, catwoman or
- 1:13:11Speaker 5: wonder Woman.
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: We're doing that. That's all we doing.
- 1:13:13Speaker 7: Yeah, all that could be happening, lady, But until you
- 1:13:16Speaker 7: have proof, you wearing yourself to death.
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: Unless you're gonna have proof, then don't do that.
- 1:13:22Speaker 9: Okay, Well, if he would just let her see the phone,
- 1:13:26Speaker 9: that's proof, right.
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: Well, yeah, you gotta let him see the phone.
- 1:13:29Speaker 7: But you know, I mean if he lets you see
- 1:13:31Speaker 7: the phone, but if your man don't want you to
- 1:13:33Speaker 7: see the phone because there's something on.
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: The phone he don't want you to see. Obviously, this
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: ain't no magic trick.
- 1:13:40Speaker 3: Strong with you.
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: Ain't that complicated? Just the text thread so I can
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: see what you're talking about. I'm not finna do that.
