- 0:00I grew up in Egypt, a Muslim country, and if you dare speak
- 0:03the name of Jesus, you will either die or your church will
- 0:05get bombed. Do you remember fearing for your
- 0:07life? Do you remember knowing people
- 0:08who were killed? It's like a normal story.
- 0:10Every week Islam now is coming in America saying we're a
- 0:13religion of peace. I'm like, brother, you are not a
- 0:15religion of peace. I know who you are.
- 0:16And my dad didn't know that the specific woman he preached to
- 0:19her husband was a leader of a Muslim terrorist group.
- 0:21He goes to my dad's house, knocks on the door.
- 0:23He shares the story. That's how we know what
- 0:25happened. And he says I tried to kill your
- 0:26children but. No way.
- 0:28That is absolutely amazing. And he said the way Islam is
- 0:31going to take over America is three ways.
- 0:33He said #1 we're going to. He was raised as a Christian in
- 0:38Egypt, and his family endured great religious persecution
- 0:41because of their faith. Martin even had a cross tattooed
- 0:45on his forearm as a baby in order to protect him in the
- 0:48event that he might get kidnapped by Islamic militants.
- 0:51Years later, his family would flee Egypt to Australia.
- 0:54And now Martin and his wife Millie travel the world to
- 0:57preach their faith and tell their story.
- 1:00Welcome back to the Lila Roche show.
- 1:01Today, we are talking with Millie and Martin Sedra about
- 1:04the tensions between Islam and Christianity.
- 1:07And we also discussed the moral issues that many Christians,
- 1:10especially preachers, don't want to touch.
- 1:12Thank you so much to everyone who has been listening to and
- 1:15sharing the show. We are almost to 350,000 Subs on
- 1:19YouTube. Help us get to 400,000.

- 1:24channel. And if you're listening a
- 1:25podcast app, leave us five stars in a review that helps the show
- 1:28grow. Martin and Millie Sedra thanks
- 1:30so much for joining the podcast. Thank you, It's an honour to be.
- 1:33Here to the USA, we appreciate it.
- 1:35Have any of your listeners had to suffer through the Australian
- 1:38accent? Yeah.
- 1:39Australian accents are the best. It's not suffering.
- 1:41We, not Australians. We don't like it.
- 1:44I feel so self-conscious of it when I'm in the US.
- 1:47Like because I hear it. We love.
- 1:48The American accents. We love your accent.
- 1:51You guys love Arabs. I know people are listening and
- 1:53going to keep listening right now just because of the accent,
- 1:55and then they're going to learn about you and love it.
- 1:57But your accents are amazing. What are you talking about?
- 2:00Cool, that's that's I didn't know.
- 2:01Australian accents might be the best accent.
- 2:03Ohh yes. No way we love the American
- 2:05accent. When I preach, I try to sound
- 2:07American just for that reason. That is, that is.
- 2:09Yeah, we say what all Yeah. You guys say trash can, we say
- 2:13rubbish? Rubbish.
- 2:14I think Americans love Australians.
- 2:16Oh cool. Yeah, that's good to know.
- 2:17They're. The best so with that and and
- 2:19when did you guys get here? How long have you been here now?
- 2:21We've been here a month, so we've been in the last four
- 2:23weeks preaching different conferences, churches around the
- 2:25United States, and it's been awesome.
- 2:27God has been moving. Welcome, I'm so glad you're
- 2:29here. I've been admiring you guys from
- 2:32afar, literally from a 15 hour flight afar in California, my
- 2:36Australian friends, because of how passionately pro-life you
- 2:40are and willing to speak up for marriage, for life.
- 2:43Australia is a tough place. Yes, yes.
- 2:45Yeah, preachers. They are very work and weak.
- 2:48Yeah, I mean, we obviously we honour what you you are doing
- 2:52and live action and speaking up and being a voice to the
- 2:55voiceless. And the truth is like you are
- 2:57doing something that a lot of preachers are not willing to do.
- 3:00Like especially true in Australia.
- 3:02Nobody wants to speak up for babies.
- 3:04I'm like, have you read the Bible?
- 3:06It says let those who love the Lord hate what is evil.
- 3:09Proverbs 6, the Lord hates the shedding of innocent blood.
- 3:12I don't know how you can get up and preach about whatever we
- 3:15preach about peace. Like how can you preach about
- 3:17this, this, these nice things when there are millions of
- 3:20babies being butchered every day?
- 3:21I, I don't understand. I I can't understand it.
- 3:24Where did you all get your passion?
- 3:26Because you have a view on life that unfortunately too few
- 3:32American and Australian and Western pastors have now.
- 3:35I think that's changing by the way.
- 3:37I get to see it happen where pastors are getting put on, you
- 3:40know, on on fire for for life. They're speaking out boldly.
- 3:44I think about the Baptist Church.
- 3:46I think about Al Mohler and he speaks out boldly against things
- 3:49like IVF, which again, very controversial Christian circles.
- 3:53There's more people rejecting contraception and that by the
- 3:56way, as of 100 years ago, all Christians, Protestant,
- 4:00Orthodox, Catholic, anybody who said they followed Christ,
- 4:04virtually everyone was opposed to contraception.
- 4:07Now in the last 100 years, everyone's like went 180 or
- 4:10contraception is great. It's so fine in the church, no
- 4:12problem. And now I see that changing too.
- 4:15You know, thankful. As you guys know, I'm Catholic.
- 4:17The Catholic Church hasn't changed on that.
- 4:18But I've seen a lot of Protestants come around and say,
- 4:20yes, this is not God's design. You know, sex is designed for
- 4:23intimacy and procreation. So we shouldn't be severing the
- 4:26two. This opens the all of these
- 4:27other problems. But I'm curious for both of you.
- 4:30And I want to get into your story because your stories are
- 4:32incredible. But I'm curious where you how
- 4:35you developed your own theological understanding of
- 4:37these moral issues and if there are more people that you see
- 4:42coming to embrace this, these truths about marriage and about
- 4:46sex and about life. Yeah.
- 4:47Yeah, I, I, I grew up in Egypt, a Muslim country where
- 4:51Christianity is a minority, and if you dare speak the name of
- 4:54Jesus, you will either die or your church will get bombed.
- 4:57Like in Egypt right now, Christians are getting killed
- 5:00all the time. Last week there was a mother who
- 5:02went to the front of the church and found out three kids
- 5:05literally chopped up in pieces by the Muslim Brotherhood last
- 5:07week. This is all in Egypt.
- 5:09So this is literally in a Christian Church on Easter
- 5:13Sunday. You literally go to church and
- 5:15you know that like while in America, we go to church on
- 5:18Easter and it's production and, and even Christians don't even
- 5:21want to go to church on a Sunday in Egypt.
- 5:23Christians know that my church can be bombed one Sunday and
- 5:26they still rock up the church. So we grew up in a in a country
- 5:28where if you want to. I've got to pause you real
- 5:31quick. I'm sorry.
- 5:32I didn't see any headline news. And I and I follow pretty
- 5:36carefully. Persecution of Christians
- 5:38globally because I care and. And you know you, if you know
- 5:41who to follow, you can kind of get a sense of it.
- 5:43These were children, the children of a Christian mother,
- 5:46Yeah. Were kidnapped by jihadists or
- 5:48who were? Slaughtered and cut in pieces
- 5:50and left in front of the church. Were they kidnapped?
- 5:52How did they? Were just chilling in front of
- 5:53the church and the mother came out and the the Muslim brother
- 5:56was just there and killed them. And this is normal by the way.
- 5:58How old were these kids? Probably 15 teenagers.
- 6:00They all were teenagers. Devastating.
- 6:02And by the way, you'll never hear about it because what the
- 6:04what, what was the is? There any reporting at all
- 6:06there's. No reporting.
- 6:07There's no reporting. You know about it because.
- 6:09I know about it because I'm following so many Arabic and
- 6:11Christian churches in Egypt. Wow, family, we have family
- 6:14there. We have friends that are there.
- 6:16But you will never hear about that on the news.
- 6:17You will never hear about that in Nigeria on Palm Sunday that
- 6:21there was a church that was slaughtered.
- 6:22You will never hear that in Syria, Christians are getting
- 6:25slaughtered. You'll never hear that there are
- 6:26so many people and Christians dying for their faith.
- 6:28But you're going to hear about George Floyd.
- 6:30You're going to hear about, you know, this happened to that guy,
- 6:33Palestine kids. You're never going to hear about
- 6:35the Christians that are getting persecuted all around the world.
- 6:38And we are the most persecuted people around the world,
- 6:40Christians, we are the most hated.
- 6:42We are the most persecuted. And it is mainly by Muslims.
- 6:45It is mainly by Muslims. And the reason by the way, you
- 6:47don't get on the news is because Islamophobia.
- 6:49They're going to say, oh, you guys hate the Muslims.
- 6:51They don't talk about Islam like that.
- 6:53Islam is a religion of peace. The moment you see what real
- 6:56Islam is and what Muslims are doing to Christians around the
- 6:58world, you will kick every Muslim out of their mosque and
- 7:01say, do you believe that Christians should be killed?
- 7:03The reason that we don't want to put on the news, If they put it
- 7:05on the news, America will wake up and be like, we don't want
- 7:08Islam anymore. And that's why Islam now is
- 7:11coming in America saying we're a religion of peace.
- 7:13I'm like, brother, you are not a religion of peace.
- 7:15I know who you are. You know that friend that you
- 7:17have and you know their real face, but in front of people
- 7:21they act all nice and you look at them and you're like, I know
- 7:23who you are. That's us.
- 7:24We came from Egypt. We grew up in Egypt, a Muslim
- 7:26country. So were.
- 7:27You raised Muslim? No, we were raised Christian, so
- 7:29Christian minority in Egypt. We're raised in a Christian
- 7:31family. And in Egypt it's very hard to
- 7:33start a church because it's a Muslim country.
- 7:35Muslims don't want new churches. So my dad decided I'm going to
- 7:38preach to Muslims. So my dad's ministry in Egypt
- 7:41was I'm going to preach as many Muslims as possible and get them
- 7:43to convert to Christ. Sounds dangerous.
- 7:45Very. Dangerous under under Sharia
- 7:47law. That illegal?
- 7:48Yeah, under Muslim, in a Muslim country, you're not allowed to
- 7:51critique Muhammad. If you critique Muhammad, you
- 7:52would die. So how did your dad survive?
- 7:55So my dad had to do it in small buildings and rooms and houses,
- 7:58breaching prison and Oh yeah, my dad.
- 8:00My dad saw hundreds of Muslims, thousands of Muslims come to
- 8:03Christ, get baptized. And then what happened was when
- 8:06the government found out, they took him to prison a few times,
- 8:08multiple times. They told him stop preaching
- 8:10Jesus. And my dad would sign a paper
- 8:12saying, all right, I'm going to stop preaching and go back and
- 8:14preach. So he kept on going.
- 8:15He kept on going. My dad was like Elijah, you
- 8:17know, the troubler of Israel, Jezebel and Ahab kept telling
- 8:20him stop. And he didn't stop.
- 8:21That was my. Dad and you hire one of how many
- 8:23kids? 4 kids. 4 kids.
- 8:25So there's four of us. Because your brother's also a
- 8:26pastor. Brother, so I have an amazing
- 8:28family, all God fearing, all in ministry, we're all married, all
- 8:32building a Kingdom of God. But my dad and mom raised us
- 8:35believers in Egypt, but it wasn't this, you know, come to
- 8:37church on Sunday like in Egypt, if you're either a real
- 8:40Christian or you're not, there's no, if you're in this
- 8:43Christianity for what God can give you, you should leave
- 8:46Christianity in Egypt because you don't get anything.
- 8:48You're either going to get killed or bombed.
- 8:50So in Egypt, if you really want God, lay down your whole life.
- 8:54So as you were a kid growing up in Egypt, did you see people who
- 8:58are other Christians face persecution?
- 9:02I mean, you saw your dad, I guess, go to jail.
- 9:03That's significant right there. But were you, did you, do you
- 9:06remember fearing for your life? Do you remember knowing people
- 9:09who were, you know, hurt or killed?
- 9:11Yeah, yeah, lots of stories, lots like it's endless.
- 9:14It's like, it's like a normal story every week.
- 9:16You know, it's a normal story every week that there was a
- 9:18knife attack or there was an explosion or a terrorist.
- 9:21That's like the normal media against Christian, against
- 9:23Christianity, by Muslims. In the like, say how your names
- 9:26were in a newspaper, like a hit list of this is the family and
- 9:29this is the their address. Go and get this family because
- 9:32they're preaching Jesus. Exactly.
- 9:33So what happened as my dad was preaching to Muslims?
- 9:36Preaching is illegal to Muslims. You can preach all the
- 9:38Christians. You can't preach to Muslims.
- 9:39My dad preach. And my dad converted a specific
- 9:42woman. She was a Muslim, and my dad
- 9:44didn't know that the specific woman he preached to her husband
- 9:47was a leader of a Muslim terrorist group.
- 9:49So my dad was preaching to this group of women and men and the
- 9:52lady in the crowd listening in a hijab.
- 9:54Her husband was a leader of a Muslim terrorist group.
- 9:56So my dad was preaching. My dad was preaching.
- 9:58That Muslim lady happens to convert to Christianity.
- 10:00She becomes a Christian. She gets baptized.
- 10:02Her husband finds out. Her husband is a Muslim
- 10:04terrorist group leader. He finds out and he's furious.
- 10:07He's like, how dare you preach to my wife?
- 10:09How dare you convert my wife to Christianity?
- 10:11How dare you baptize my wife? Was she in danger with him?
- 10:14She, I think he let her go. He just wanted to teach
- 10:17everybody else a lesson. Don't do this again.
- 10:19And what the Muslims do is they'll kill one guy, one guy
- 10:23publicly and make a lesson out of him.
- 10:24That's why they killed the 21 Christians in Egypt.
- 10:27You know, the men in the orange suits on the beach, They, they
- 10:29literally beheaded them and killed them on the beach live.
- 10:31They want to terrorize people. So this man decided I'm going to
- 10:34kill these guys children. And at the time my brothers were
- 10:36five years old and nine years old.
- 10:38And that man made a plan. I'm going to kidnap these two,
- 10:41his two sons, my dad's two sons. I'm going to kidnap them, behead
- 10:44them, put him in a bag and send it to my dad's front door to
- 10:47teach him a lesson. Don't preach Jesus again.
- 10:50All my dad needed to do what for us to be safe was to stop
- 10:52preaching. That's all he needed to do stop
- 10:54preaching. Jesus would have been safe,
- 10:56would have had money, would have had houses, would have been
- 10:58fine. My dad said no, I'm going to
- 10:59keep preaching. That Muslim Brotherhood leader
- 11:01sends two men in a van at 7:00 to the bus stop on my brothers.
- 11:04Catch the school bus. He studied us.
- 11:06He strategized. He knows our moves.
- 11:08These two Muslim Brotherhood men in the van, they go.
- 11:10They see my brothers. They try to get out of the van
- 11:12to kidnap my brothers. They feel frozen.
- 11:14They don't know they're not moving, these two men.
- 11:17Speaking of miracles, these two men couldn't get out.
- 11:19They want to kidnap my brothers, behead them.
- 11:21They're frozen in the van. My brothers get on the school
- 11:23bus. The school bus leaves.
- 11:24They're confused. They're like, what's going on?
- 11:26They unfreeze again. Once the school bus leaves, they
- 11:29unfreeze again. They look at each other and
- 11:30they're like you're a coward, You're a coward.
- 11:31They think it was fear. They think these guys have
- 11:34killed preachers, politicians, and here's a 5 and a nine year
- 11:37old. They can't kill.
- 11:38The next day, the boss is angry. She sends two big men to the bus
- 11:41stop. These two big men are now in the
- 11:42van. They see my brothers.
- 11:44They get out of the van. This time they're right behind
- 11:46my brothers. And as my brothers, 5 and 9 year
- 11:48old, are about to go in the bus stop, these two Muslim
- 11:50Brotherhood leaders are standing behind them.
- 11:52And they go to kidnap them, to behead them.
- 11:54And as they go to grab them, they feel a supernatural hand
- 11:57tie their hands behind their back.
- 11:58There's two Muslim Brotherhood leaders.
- 12:00They can't see who it is. They don't know who it is, but
- 12:02they feel a supernatural Angel tie their hands behind their
- 12:05back. My brothers get on a school bus.
- 12:07The school bus leaves, and they unfreeze again.
- 12:09Now this Muslim Brotherhood leader is confused.
- 12:11He's like, I don't know what's going on.
- 12:13And now something shifted in his heart.
- 12:14He knows the God of the Bible. He's real.
- 12:17He goes to my dad's house, knocks on the door.
- 12:20My dad like, what's his guy doing here?
- 12:21He gets him in. He shares a story.
- 12:23That's how we know what happened.
- 12:25And he says, I tried to kill your children, but your God
- 12:27protected them. No way.
- 12:28And this Muslim Brotherhood leader becomes a Christian, is
- 12:30baptized and is born again and the whole family.
- 12:33And this is what was so. So the the, the lesson out of
- 12:36this is number one, we serve the God of miracles.
- 12:39We serve the God who is moving. God is moving and you might not.
- 12:42See he was bapt, he was he converted after that voted, he
- 12:44became a Christian. Did he have issues with his
- 12:45terrorist friends? Yeah, and he moved to America.
- 12:47He's living in America now. So if he's.
- 12:49Listening to reconnect. Can he come on the podcast?
- 12:51I don't know him. We.
- 12:52We. You.
- 12:53You gotta find him what's right. Is he?
- 12:55Is he practicing his Christian? Yeah, he's a Christian now, but
- 12:58we don't know where he is. Having if.
- 12:59You can hear us, please. Yeah, we would love to to talk
- 13:02to you. That is absolutely amazing.
- 13:04I mean, it is God does things like that and it is alive and
- 13:07he's working and we need to be willing to ask for help from
- 13:11him, ask to be used by him and then also notice the work he's
- 13:14doing. But that's amazing.
- 13:15That's. Amazing.
- 13:16So when he asks, where do we get our passion and our courage
- 13:19from? We get our courage from a
- 13:22country where if you believed in Jesus, you'll die.
- 13:25So we escaped Egypt in 2007. We moved from Egypt to to
- 13:28Australia as refugees. Were things getting
- 13:30particularly? Getting very bad.
- 13:32So we, we would walk out of our house and there's people waiting
- 13:35on buses and you know, vans and motorbikes.
- 13:37It got too dangerous. And my dad was in Australia 1
- 13:40day and he realized that our address was published on a
- 13:42wanted newspaper list. There's like a newspaper of
- 13:45wanted preachers and you publish their address in there.
- 13:47So the Muslim Brotherhood, you kill them.
- 13:49So my our address was there. This family needs to go.
- 13:52And my mom, my dad found out that our address was published.
- 13:54He calls my mum from Australia and says, hey, you need to, he's
- 13:57preaching in Australia. He's just preaching at a, you
- 13:59know, a few churches. Here and you guys are in Egypt
- 14:01where? In Egypt with my mum.
- 14:02Did you have guns in the house? No, guns did not have no way to
- 14:05protect yourself. And how old were you guys?
- 14:07So, so I was, I was 9, my brothers would have been 1519
- 14:11and my twin sister. So there's four of us with my
- 14:13mum. Your mum.
- 14:14And by the way, no guns. No, no.
- 14:16Guns. No.
- 14:17My mum is a hero. Yeah, my mum is a bold and
- 14:19courageous woman. Like when you speak about, you
- 14:21know, woman, woman having courage and boldness.
- 14:24My mom really did because we didn't have any protection.
- 14:27No security guards, no nothing. Only God.
- 14:29The only thing I was protecting us was God.
- 14:31And while my dad was preaching the gospel, God was protecting
- 14:33us. My dad didn't even know that
- 14:35this was happening, let alone God was really covering us.
- 14:38There's a hedge of protection around us.
- 14:40But I got to a point where when our address was published, my
- 14:42dad called my mom from Australia and said, hey, you need to leave
- 14:45the country now. He felt the Holy Spirit tell
- 14:47him, it's time to leave. You've fought enough.
- 14:49You've converted enough Muslims, it's time to leave.
- 14:51My dad calls my mom. We sell the house.
- 14:53We pack our bags. My mom didn't tell her parents.
- 14:56She couldn't. We didn't know you know where
- 14:58we're going. My mom told us we're going on a
- 14:59holiday to Thailand because she knew if if we if if the work we
- 15:03were young was. Stupid if.
- 15:05If at the airport we said yeah, we're going to Australia to
- 15:07escape, they would have sent us straight back in jail.
- 15:09They would have put us in jail and said you got to try and
- 15:11escape. So at the at the, at the border
- 15:14of Egypt, when they check your passport, your passport's not
- 15:17like the American passport. Your passport says your
- 15:18religion. If you're a Christian or Muslim,
- 15:20it's in your passport. So if you're a Christian,
- 15:22especially if you're a pastor and they know you, they're going
- 15:24to want to figure out why you're leaving Egypt.
- 15:26Are you trying to escape? So the plan was.
- 15:28What? Because was it the government
- 15:29that was trying to? Kill.
- 15:30There was a Muslim Brotherhood. There was a government.
- 15:32All of them, all of them hate Christians.
- 15:34The Muslim government it. Was your dad's particular fear
- 15:37it was these kind of rogue Muslim Brotherhood guys, or has
- 15:40it gotten just like cranked it up government?
- 15:42Cranked up to the. Government, maybe.
- 15:43I'm going to go back to jail when I get home.
- 15:44They're going to allow something bad to happen to my family, OK?
- 15:47And you're allowed, by the way, to kill Christians.
- 15:48Like you can kill a Christian. There's no drama.
- 15:50If you kill a Christian, there's.
- 15:51Like Islamic terror against Christians in Egypt, they, they
- 15:55kind of look the other way. They're they're not going to
- 15:57because they believe. That's obedience to the Koran.
- 15:59So they're like good job. You're you're, you're, you're
- 16:01following, you're getting rid. Of these rats, Hitler called the
- 16:05the the Jews rats, right. His propaganda, the way he he
- 16:08got convinced people to kill the Jews was to dehumanize the Jews
- 16:13in their eyes. So you put propaganda up that
- 16:15the Jews are not humans, but they're rats.
- 16:17So all of a sudden the psychology of the nation began
- 16:19to change. When you look at a Jew, you
- 16:21don't see a Jew, you see a rat. So it's easier to kill a rat
- 16:24than to kill a human. So he he dehumanized the nation
- 16:27to be able to be able to gas the Jews kill them, whatever you
- 16:29want to do. And that's what, and when I
- 16:31think about it, I'm like, Hitler got his this idea and it's
- 16:34worldview from Muhammad because Muhammad came before Hitler and
- 16:37Muhammad 600 in, in the sixth, you know, century, he writes the
- 16:40Quran and he calls, he's a bit nicer than Hitler.
- 16:43Muhammad and Islam calls any person who's not a Muslim a rat,
- 16:46not a rat, sorry, he calls us ape or pigs.
- 16:49So Hitler called the Jews rats. Muhammad calls Christians and
- 16:52anyone who's not a Muslim. Jews as well.
- 16:54Jews. He he, he calls us, he calls us
- 16:56apes or pigs. So now when a Muslim looks at
- 16:59you as a Christian, they don't see a man and they don't see a
- 17:02woman. They see either an ape or a pig
- 17:04that must be killed. And I think I want to ask you
- 17:06about this possible distinction here because I know, I know
- 17:09Muslims, right, who are very, they are themselves very
- 17:12peaceful. They're Westernized, They're not
- 17:14fundamentalist, they're not jihadists, obviously.
- 17:17And I think there is this certainly when you look at the
- 17:22life of Muhammad, which was really conquest, violence.
- 17:28Exactly. It's not like conversion.
- 17:30Yeah, via the, you know, the heart.
- 17:32It's the sword. It's a very different trajectory
- 17:35than Christianity. Like the martyrs died for, you
- 17:38know, Jesus in Christianity. You kill for Jesus or for
- 17:42Muhammad in Islam. They kill for their faith.
- 17:45For their faith, right? Right.
- 17:46So anyways, I say all that to say, I agree that the origins
- 17:49and the foundation of it is. But there are nice religions,
- 17:53there are nice loving. Muslims, of course.
- 17:55And I always like to say all Muslims are violent, but all
- 17:58Islam is violent. It's the same as Christianity.
- 18:00Not all Christians are holy, but Christianity is holy.
- 18:03So when you see a Christian in the street get drunk, beat his
- 18:06wife up and smoke weed, you're like, that's not a Christian,
- 18:09right? Because Christianity by
- 18:10definition and by by the foundation of Christianity is
- 18:13holiness. But Islam in general, when you
- 18:15see a nice Muslim in the street, a kind Muslim, I have a neighbor
- 18:18who's a Muslim and they're very kind.
- 18:19They're very, we're friends with them.
- 18:21But just because that Muslim is nice, it does not mean that's
- 18:24Islam. Islam is a violent religion.
- 18:26Muhammad was a warlord who went around killing Christians, Jews,
- 18:30anyone that got in his way. Christianity, as you said,
- 18:32Christianity spread through the blood of the martyrs.
- 18:34Islam spread through the blood of its enemies.
- 18:37Christianity was spread through the blood of Jesus Christ, our
- 18:39Lord and savior. Islam was spread through the
- 18:42people that were surrounding them.
- 18:44And anyone listening to me, the nice Muslims in your world, and
- 18:46I hope Muslims are listening to me.
- 18:48If you're a kind, loving, caring Muslim, you're not a Muslim
- 18:51because you're not following the Quran.
- 18:53The Quran commands you to kill me.
- 18:54The Quran commands you to kill the infidels.
- 18:57Mohammed literally says kill the infidels wherever you find them.
- 19:00So if you're really following the Quran, you should kill me.
- 19:02If you're really a Muslim and you love Mohammed, you must
- 19:06follow your Quran. I think a Muslim would say,
- 19:08well, yes, but you it's interpretation of those verses.
- 19:11And then they'll say there are verses in the Quran which are
- 19:15ultimately they're, they're, they match elements of
- 19:17Christianity in terms of justice, in terms of mercy, in
- 19:20terms of caring for the vulnerable.
- 19:23So there there are elements like that in the Quran.
- 19:25Which is a great point. You have to look at the fruit.
- 19:27The fact is Christians don't read the Bible, the whole Bible,
- 19:31including the Old Testament and decide for themselves, OK, my
- 19:34interpretation of the Bible, the Bible means I should go and blow
- 19:37myself up in public at the detriment of hundreds of people
- 19:40around me. No Christian interprets the
- 19:42Bible today and does that and yet hundreds of Muslims do that.
- 19:45So I think you have to look at the fruits and see how many
- 19:49people are interpreting the Quran to mean let's destroy
- 19:52people's lives and how many are interpreting the Bible to mean
- 19:55let's be terrorist. The fruit speaks for itself.

- 22:21You'll get 3 months free and use this incredible tool to deepen
- 22:25your relationship with God. Let's ask a few questions.
- 22:31Let's compare founders. Okay, when people say you know
- 22:34you're misinterpreting like okay, let's just look at the
- 22:36founder Mohammed Jesus. Mohammed said kill the infidel.
- 22:39Jesus said love your enemies. Mohammed said before he died
- 22:42Mohammed said may Allah curse the Jews and the Christians.
- 22:45Jesus before he died said father forgive them for they don't know
- 22:47what they do. Mohammed own slaves and raped
- 22:50them. Jesus honored woman and covered
- 22:52them. Muhammad the woman caught on
- 22:54adultery stoned her to death. Jesus, the woman caught on
- 22:56adultery said neither do I condemn you go and see no more.
- 23:00Muhammad literally commands men that they can beat their wives
- 23:03up. Jesus commands men to love their
- 23:05wives. So when you compare the
- 23:06founders, I know you're like you know interpretation and stuff.
- 23:09Forget the Quran, forget the Bible.
- 23:10Let's compare the founders of the religion.
- 23:12You're Muhammad in a span of 10 years started 73 wars and raids,
- 23:17my Jesus in a span of 33 years, his whole life, not one war was
- 23:21started. In fact, when his disciples
- 23:23wanted to destroy a city for rejected him, Jesus rebuked
- 23:26them. When, when when Peter picked up
- 23:28the sword, Jesus said those who live by the sword would die by
- 23:31the sword. So let's compare founders for a
- 23:33moment. Your founder is not my founder.
- 23:34My founder is a God of love, peace, prosperity.
- 23:38We're not the same. OK.
- 23:39And then? Yeah, when your dad would
- 23:41convert or would help with the conversion of these Muslims in
- 23:45Egypt, do you did you were you able to follow what happened
- 23:49with them? Because my understanding is if
- 23:51you convert. I mean, we just had a a
- 23:52beautiful woman, Nikki Kingston on the podcast and she's afraid
- 23:56to even share social media where she lives because she's a
- 23:58convert from Islam to Christianity.
- 24:01And when she her life could be at risk because she's in now.
- 24:06And I think worse than an infidel is my.
- 24:08Understanding. She's a, she's a, she's a yeah,
- 24:11she's committed apostasy. Which under Sharia law, for all
- 24:14my Americans that, you know, Sharia law wants to come to
- 24:17Texas and the New York mayor, you know, Zamran Mandani and all
- 24:21these Muslim guys that are coming, if Islam takes over any
- 24:24state, Sharia law will be established.
- 24:26What Sharia law? Sharia law is the divine Islamic
- 24:29law. It's like our 10 commandments,
- 24:31but for the Muslims. And under Sharia law, apostates
- 24:34must be killed. Under Sharia law, gamblers and
- 24:37drinkers must be stoned. Under Sharia law, if you
- 24:39critique Mohammed, you should be killed.
- 24:41So any Muslim who converts to Christianity, they're considered
- 24:43an apostate. And you're right, they're worse
- 24:45than an infidel. They must be killed.
- 24:47There is no forgiveness. There is no negotiation.
- 24:49If your wife converts to Christianity, kill her.
- 24:51If your kid converts to Christianity, kill them.
- 24:54And it happens, by the way, there's dishonor.
- 24:56There's, you know, honor killing with a father and mother.
- 24:58Literally kill their 15 year old kid.
- 25:00It's the amount of stories is infinite.
- 25:03Yeah. About how many Muslims kill
- 25:04them. Yeah.
- 25:05So these apostle laws are very real in Christianity.
- 25:07If you leave Christianity, we're going to be praying for you.
- 25:09Yeah. We're going to be loving you.
- 25:10We're going to be calling you and checking up on you.
- 25:12Yeah. You better.
- 25:13We're not going to come and kill you.
- 25:14Yeah. We want you to come to Christ.
- 25:16We don't. This is not a mafia.
- 25:18Islam, by the way, is not a religion.
- 25:19It's a mafia. It's like you leave.
- 25:21You leave. This is 1.
- 25:23I mean, if you search for honor killings and these pop up
- 25:25because I see these stories and I, I, I, I think I'm looking for
- 25:28them. I pay attention to them because
- 25:29I know how underreported these things are.
- 25:31But this is Pakistan, you know, an honor killing of a couple
- 25:34that converted or not converted. Excuse me, this is an honor
- 25:38killing of a couple. I don't know what their
- 25:40professed crime was there. I think maybe even just being
- 25:44together, a moral relationship is the claim and they were
- 25:46slaughtered for it. Another story, and this was in
- 25:50Europe, a woman who was killed by her brothers because Islamic
- 25:55woman killed by her brothers because she was accused of
- 25:58having a boyfriend, you know. Yeah, I mean, so Sharia lore is
- 26:02trying to come into the West. I don't know if in Australia
- 26:05right now. A few days ago there was a
- 26:07massive protest on the Harbour Bridge, huge protest where
- 26:12jihadists are waving the jihad flag.
- 26:14They were riding Abolish Australia on the on the roads.
- 26:18They were burning the Australian flag and so so this is a very
- 26:21real thing. And I think what the message for
- 26:23Christians today is, I think a lot of Christians get the first
- 26:26part of the verse right where it says be innocent as doves.
- 26:29But a lot of Christians lack the second-half which is be shrewd
- 26:32of snakes. And that is the call.
- 26:34This was our call to be innocent as doves but shrewd of snakes.
- 26:37And I think a lot of Christians, they have the heart of Jesus,
- 26:41which is a merciful heart, but they lack the discernment When
- 26:45Jesus, when many people were seeing his miracles and were
- 26:48coming to follow him. The Bible tells us that Jesus
- 26:50did not trust them because he saw what was in their heart.
- 26:53He knew that they were just amazed by the sign and not the
- 26:56one that was producing the sign. And so there is an element of
- 26:59God expects us as Christians to have discernment.
- 27:02We're not supposed to be naive and we're not supposed to be
- 27:05skeptical and cynical. We're supposed to have
- 27:06discernment. And my response to what's
- 27:09happening in the West, where people are burning the flag, I
- 27:12can't believe this is a controversial take, but if
- 27:14someone wants to burn the flag of the country that they are
- 27:17seeking refuge in, they should be sent back to whatever country
- 27:20that of the flag that they wanna.
- 27:22So you're saying these were refugees in Australia?
- 27:25They're not Australian citizens. They were.
- 27:27Immigrants. It was a mixture, but a lot of
- 27:29them were immigrants. And they were and they want,
- 27:31you're saying they want Sharia a lot in this case.
- 27:33They're burning, they're berating in the street, burning
- 27:35the Australian flag. But is it out of hatred for like
- 27:39as they perceive western values and they want Sharia law or what
- 27:41were? They want Sharia law.
- 27:43The Muslims want Sharia law. That's the Muslims wanting
- 27:45Sharia law to reign in the West. Yeah.
- 27:47And you can listen to. Is it called imams?
- 27:50Yeah. You can listen to the leaders of
- 27:51Brotherhood's saying that we will not stop until Islam is in
- 27:55every home and every child. They I've heard imams say we
- 27:59don't care about the parents but we are coming for the children
- 28:02and children will become Muslim. We're immigrants.
- 28:05Like I'm a refugee. I literally, we came legally,
- 28:09obviously, but I love immigration in the right way.
- 28:12When I moved from Egypt to Australia, I was so grateful for
- 28:15my country. I love my country.
- 28:16We have an Australian flag in our office.
- 28:19Why we're telling people the country that accepted me and
- 28:21took me and I love it. I'm grateful for it.
- 28:24I'm blessing it and I'm bringing my skill here.
- 28:26But what a lot of Muslims do when they move to America is
- 28:29they don't love the country, they hate the country.
- 28:31I was literally in an Uber on the way here and the Uber was a
- 28:35Muslim man. His name is Muhammad, and he was
- 28:36complaining to me how bad it is to live in America.
- 28:38I'm like, what you from? He's like Pakistan.
- 28:40I'm like, why are you here? Like, why are you complaining
- 28:44about the country that you're in?
- 28:45Like, well, well, this is the thing.
- 28:47I was like to him why you're here.
- 28:49He was like, oh, I'm moving with my family for a better future.
- 28:51I'm like, so, so you're telling me you left Pakistan because you
- 28:53don't like the way you live there?
- 28:55You don't like Islam there and you're moving to America only to
- 28:57hate America? And this is the problem.
- 28:59I love immigration, but if you're going to migrate to a
- 29:01country, you better love your country.
- 29:03You better bless your country. You better wave the American
- 29:05flag here. Don't go around burning the
- 29:07flag. And that's the difference
- 29:09between an immigrant and an enemy, right?
- 29:11An immigrant seeks refuge. An enemy wants to destroy the
- 29:13country. Here's a Here's a controversial
- 29:16question which I think gets to the root of many of the things
- 29:21we're talking about and caring about at this table.
- 29:24Australia and the United States in in parts of Australia and
- 29:27parts of the United States, or I think it's most of Australia,
- 29:29abortion is legal till nine months of pregnancy.
- 29:32A million abortions here in the United States.
- 29:34What's your number? You're in the Are You Australia
- 29:36around 100,000. Yeah, we're in 100.
- 29:38Thousand OK yeah, and our. Population is very small
- 29:4127,000,000, you guys are 300 million.
- 29:43It's devastating. So you are.
- 29:45We are in the middle of extreme injustice that we are working to
- 29:49do our best to respond to, right, with all of our own flaws
- 29:52and, and faults and everything else.
- 29:54And so I'm very proud to be American.
- 29:57I'm proud of this country and grateful for it.
- 30:00But there's a lot of things that I am not proud of that we do and
- 30:04that are shameful and that we need to call out.
- 30:07And so how do you approach that with, you know, balancing
- 30:11patriotism, which I think we owe a sense of duty to our country.
- 30:16Of course we have a civic duty. Yeah.
- 30:18We owe something to our neighbors.
- 30:19It's because of this project that we care about of, of our
- 30:21neighbors. We care about our neighbors.
- 30:23But at the same time, we we owe also to call them higher and to
- 30:27call out the evil. Yes.
- 30:28Yeah, and and and I'll go. My goal is never to destroy the
- 30:31country I'm in. I want them to repent.
- 30:33My goal is for the country to repent.
- 30:35It's it's and by the way, every prophet in the Bible went up to
- 30:38the king and told them to repent.
- 30:40When people tell me to stay out of politics, I'm like, man,
- 30:42Elijah went to King Ahab. I've been told them to repent
- 30:44loving. And that's.
- 30:46Yeah. And that's, that's a part of
- 30:47loving our nation, by the way. So there's a tension.
- 30:49I don't hate my nation, but I'm not tolerating what they're
- 30:51doing. Yeah, I'm not hating enough to
- 30:53burn a flag, but I'm not tolerating their sin that I'm
- 30:56going to let them butcher babies and say nothing about it.
- 30:58What I can do in this country is speak against the sin.
- 31:01I will speak about it. And if you don't like something
- 31:03the country is doing you, you have freedom of speech here.
- 31:06You actually, you get the honor in this country.
- 31:08In Muslim countries, you don't have freedom of speech, by the
- 31:10way. But in this country, you get
- 31:11freedom of speech. If you don't like what you what
- 31:13you see, vote against it, talk about it, post about it.
- 31:16But burning the American flag, now you're going an extreme
- 31:20where you're no longer telling your country to repent from an
- 31:23idea or a worldview or a policy. Now you're saying I want to
- 31:26destroy this country. Yeah.
- 31:28Which you can't do that, right? You can't come in the country
- 31:30and want to destroy it. So it sounds like this happened
- 31:32recently, this burning of the flag?
- 31:33Yeah. And And was the protest about
- 31:36Islam or no? Was that OK?
- 31:38No. So it was a mixed up.
- 31:39So you have the, you have the, the white Australians who have
- 31:42lacked discernment. They're pro Palestine and, you
- 31:46know, pro. Palestine was around.
- 31:47Israel. Israel, Yeah, so.
- 31:49So, so they're, so they're burning the Australian flag
- 31:52because Australia supports Israel.
- 31:54Yeah, so, so it was a mixture. You have the white Australians
- 31:56who lacked discernment and they're burning the flag.
- 31:59They're saying, you know, they're.
- 32:01Saying the same way Australians colonized from with Indigenous
- 32:04people, that's what Israel's doing.
- 32:06That's what they're trying to link that comparison, yeah.
- 32:08That's why they're saying, they're saying we are the
- 32:11aggressors ourselves, yes. So therefore we're going to, so
- 32:14are they, are they, are they going to deport themselves?
- 32:18We have a free day, day in Australia where we say sorry to
- 32:22the Indigenous people, like Australians just have this thing
- 32:25of hating themselves rather than like let's at some point move on
- 32:28from the past, look at the past and say this was good, this was
- 32:31bad. Forgive.
- 32:33Like we just want to stay in the past as Australians.
- 32:35Like at some point it's not sorry day, like it's forgive
- 32:38day. Let's move on and let's
- 32:39celebrate. Because I think with that I see
- 32:42there is such high value in seeing what we've done wrong in
- 32:45the past and being sorry for it in the sense that I'm sorry that
- 32:48my country did this right. But in terms of a personal sin
- 32:53for that, obviously people today are, they're not responsible for
- 32:55what their ancestors did, but there is a collective, there is
- 32:57a level of collective responsibility that does that
- 32:59does exist. But what to do with that, right.
- 33:02And, and I, I do think there is, I, I find it less about the self
- 33:08flagellation is less of the issue for me as much as the
- 33:11hypocrisy where they're saying that we care so much about, you
- 33:15know, how we treated people in the past, but you're, you're
- 33:18boarding babies up till nine months or whatever, whatever it
- 33:20might be. And by the way, when it comes
- 33:22with anything with hypocrisy, this is where like constant
- 33:25examinations of consciousness for us as Christians and us
- 33:28getting on our knees before God and like confessing our sins.
- 33:30And because we can all suffer from that, we can all suffer
- 33:33from pride. And if we are called to speak
- 33:35moral truth into the unclarity, we need to obviously be checking
- 33:38our hearts constantly. Virtue signalling.
- 33:41It's a lot of it's virtue signalling.
- 33:42When there's a million babies dying and you don't speak for
- 33:44them, but you speak for the Palestinian kids, you're virtue
- 33:47signalling. I'm not saying don't stand up
- 33:48for for whatever injustice. You believe?
- 33:50In I'm not saying don't stand up, but I'm saying you better
- 33:53stand up for abortion. Don't don't be going around the
- 33:55street speaking against, you know, murdering animals and cows
- 33:58and that and not speak about the murder of babies.
- 34:01So I think it's virtuous signaling a lot of them.
- 34:03They just want to get, you know, they, they, they want to get the
- 34:06collapse. And I'm like, well, as we spoke
- 34:07about before, you're not speaking like the Christians
- 34:09dying. You're not.
- 34:10And by the way, Christians, I think we need to be focused on
- 34:14the Christians that are dying around the world because they
- 34:16are brothers and sisters in Christ.
- 34:18My brothers, by the way, are not my Egyptian friends.
- 34:20I think we have this with loyalty to our culture.
- 34:23My brothers and sisters are those who do the will of the
- 34:26Father, which is what Jesus did. So if in Nigeria, Christians are
- 34:29dying, sometimes as I'm scrolling through, I see and,
- 34:32and you know, I just keep scrolling and, and the Holy
- 34:35Spirit convicts me. It's like, no, if that was your
- 34:36real brother dying, what would you do?
- 34:38That's my real brother. What do you think we should do
- 34:40for the persecuted church? And what is there something that
- 34:42we can do for the persecuted church in Egypt?
- 34:44I mean, yeah, what's the connection like now that you
- 34:46guys have moved to Australia and you built a life there?
- 34:49Yeah, I think every church needs to be praying for the persecuted
- 34:53church as though it was their own church.
- 34:55Like, how would you respond if there was a mother in your
- 34:58church who somebody came and shot that mother's kids in front
- 35:02of the church building? How would you respond?
- 35:04I think most churches would gather together, would pray over
- 35:07that mother. And I believe that's what we
- 35:08should do for our brothers and sisters all across the world.
- 35:11Like as soon as we hear about this, the church needs to get
- 35:13together and and stop praying for our brothers and sisters.
- 35:16I think prayer is our greatest weapon and we need to just get
- 35:19the get the word out and spread awareness that this is really
- 35:21happening so people understand what is going on in the world.
- 35:25And I want to be careful, by the way, to make sure people know
- 35:27that when I talk about terrorism and and the killing of
- 35:30Christians and persecution, I talk about it as if it's
- 35:32happening just in the Middle East.
- 35:33I'm warning the West that it is coming into the West.
- 35:36In Australia, where we are 20 minutes from our church.
- 35:39You guys saw it here, went viral, Bishop Mara Murray, you
- 35:41know Bishop Mara Murray, the one who got stabbed in the face,
- 35:43that video went viral here a few months ago.
- 35:45That church was 20 minutes away from us, a Muslim kid, a 16 year
- 35:49old Muslim kid. This is not Middle East, this is
- 35:51Australia. This is an immigrant.
- 35:53Or a native. No, he's an, he's a Muslim
- 35:56immigrant who came here. I don't know what country is,
- 35:58but he's a Muslim Arabic man, 16 year old, 16 year old kid.
- 36:02He traveled, he traveled 90 minutes to that church Wednesday
- 36:06night when he had service. He walked with a knife through
- 36:09the whole way of the church to the pulpit, went to stab Bishop
- 36:12Maramar in the face. And you guys can see that video.
- 36:14Check it out if you haven't. So the the the terrorism and the
- 36:17knife attacks is moving into the West.
- 36:19I have friends in France, pastors who say now there's a
- 36:22knife attack in my city every week.
- 36:25Why? Because of Muslims.
- 36:26The Muslims and again, some Muslims are nice, but when you
- 36:29invite the Muslim ideologies in and world views, this is what
- 36:33you get. You get terrorism and you get
- 36:34knife attacks. Incredible because Bishop Mari
- 36:36Mari, like you just talked about who was stabbed in the face by
- 36:40a, you know, as a kid who was brainwashed by jihadi.
- 36:44Yeah, rhetoric, basically. He publicly forgave his
- 36:48attacker. Yes, and that's, and that's.
- 36:50Beautiful. So I got 2 responses.
- 36:52I want I, I love, I love the Muslims, I love the Muslims and
- 36:55I want them to come to Christ. I want the Muslim ladies who are
- 36:58oppressed by their husbands and getting beat up.
- 37:00I feel sorry for them. I pray for them.
- 37:02I pray that this this covering and I believe that the burqa
- 37:05that they cover their face with one time God really showed me
- 37:08this wasn't just a physical covering.
- 37:10This is a spiritual demonic covering over them that is
- 37:12blinding them from seeing Jesus Christ as Lord.
- 37:15I believe the men, the woman, the woman of Islam are the most
- 37:18oppressed, the children are the most oppressed and I'm praying
- 37:20that they come to Christ. I'm praying of any Muslim lady
- 37:23listening to me as she hears the difference between Mohammed and
- 37:25Jesus. I pray that you would turn to
- 37:27Christ and I pray that you would repent of your sin and see Jesus
- 37:30not as your prophet, but as your Lord.
- 37:32And I'm praying for revival. But on the other hand, I'm also
- 37:34warning America. I'm warning America, you have to
- 37:37be careful. You cannot allow a Muslim city
- 37:39like they want to build epic city in Texas.
- 37:42This is a new thing with the Muslims want to build a whole
- 37:44city that is ran by Sharia law, that is ran by Muslims.
- 37:47Only Muslims are allowed to live there.
- 37:49Muslim lawyers, Muslim doctors. I'm like, wait a second, you're
- 37:52bringing a Muslim country in the middle of a Christian country
- 37:54that's not accepted here. You can come and pray.
- 37:56There's freedom of religion. You can build a mosque if you
- 37:58want, but don't, don't be trying to bring Sharia law and Sharia
- 38:02law is what destroyed your country.
- 38:03Like this is what I find fascinating, the status.
- 38:05Of that, do we know? Does that no the bill the Texas
- 38:08are fighting I was. Just fighting.
- 38:10Oh yeah, we will speak because it represented not, she said.
- 38:12There's no way it's going. To Yeah, that's against the.
- 38:14State law. Wrong.
- 38:16I mean, they can have a certain level of self governance in
- 38:18terms of obviously things that are constitutional rights, but
- 38:21they can't say if you enter this physical space, you have to live
- 38:25by our laws and not the laws of Texas. 100%.
- 38:28But you we got to be very. But if there are parts of,
- 38:30excuse me, there are parts of Europe now, they're actually
- 38:33allowing the Sharia law to be, I don't know how that works.
- 38:37What what is the superior law? Is it the UK law or the French
- 38:42law? Or is it the Sharia law in those
- 38:44cases? So as a Muslim, when you commit
- 38:47a crime, you can decide what under what justice system do you
- 38:50want to get judged by? So as a Muslim guy, if I, you
- 38:53know, rape a woman, OK, don't want to be judged under the, you
- 38:57know, the the law of the country or Sharia law and you get to
- 38:59decide. And it's an awesome because
- 39:00under Sharia law you can rape and.
- 39:03That's why we see those in crazy short prison sentences like the
- 39:0721 year old who the 13 year old girl and then she he's
- 39:12completely let off the hook because of cultural differences
- 39:14or something. Exactly, that's crazy.
- 39:16Europe is Europe is gone. London is gone with they lost it
- 39:20like England where John Wesley saw a revival in the 1700s, now
- 39:24is literally ran by Muslims and, and, and, and it really shows
- 39:28you that that if America does not wake up, America will become
- 39:31London. New York will become London.
- 39:34If New York elects that Zamran Mamdani guy, it will become
- 39:37London. It will become friends.
- 39:38He seems such like, such a walking contradiction to him
- 39:41exactly because he talks the language of the far left when it
- 39:45comes to things like, yeah, abortion, homosexuality,
- 39:48homosexuality, which are anathema to most Muslims, but
- 39:51certainly fundamentalist Islam. Like, that's not you.
- 39:54You don't support those things. You know that you're very roof.
- 39:57You could. Yeah.
- 39:58There's a tremendous persecution of anybody who even is perceived
- 40:01to be. Homosexual in, in very, I would
- 40:04say fundamentalist if we want to use that word, Muslim country.
- 40:07So he's doing that and at the same time, exactly is he a
- 40:10practicing Muslim? Yeah.
- 40:11Zomran Mendani is a very interesting guy.
- 40:14This guy, when I look at him, I can see right through him.
- 40:17In Islam, they have a they have a teaching called takea.
- 40:21Takea is where you're allowed to lie for the sake of spreading
- 40:24Islam. And this is when I look at
- 40:26Zamran Mamdani going the street, acting like an American kind of
- 40:29one day and then acting like a Muslim one day, Acting like, you
- 40:32know, eating with his hand one day and then acting in a wearing
- 40:34a suit like his Western eyes. I look at this guy and I, I look
- 40:38at him and I'm like, I think he's practicing Takea.
- 40:40Takea is where you're allowed to lie.
- 40:42Muhammad commands you, you can lie for the sake of spreading
- 40:45Islam. And Zamran Mandani is either
- 40:48practicing Takea right now when he says, I love the trans
- 40:51community. I want to, I want to build, you
- 40:52know, fund them and, and, and, and give them funding and, and
- 40:55money and all that. He's either practicing Takea
- 40:57because under Islam, transgenders and homosexuals
- 41:00must be executed or he's not a Muslim one of them.
- 41:04And I would love for him to be very clear.
- 41:07Or he is, is he a cafeteria Muslim?
- 41:09They talk about like cafeteria Catholics where they say I'm a
- 41:12Catholic, I'm a Catholic. And it's like when you go to
- 41:14Mass, but you don't, you don't live the teachings of the of the
- 41:16faith. And you might even be receiving
- 41:18it unholy, like receiving the sacrament, because you're,
- 41:21you're not, you're not, you're living in mortal sin or you're
- 41:25not actually keeping the Sabbath holy and going to Mass or the.
- 41:27Term like Christian atheist You call yourself a Christian, but
- 41:29you live like an. Atheism.
- 41:30But you think that your your suspicion, based on your
- 41:33experience living in Egypt and growing up in Egypt, is that
- 41:36it's something more minister than that.
- 41:37He's not a cafeteria Muslim. You think that there might be
- 41:39something more sinister going on with?
- 41:40One of them, I'm not sure which one it is, it's either he's a
- 41:43very lukewarm or not a Muslim at all, or he's practicing Takea.
- 41:48I hope he's just not a real Muslim because if he is
- 41:50practicing Takea and New York NY votes this guy in, good luck.
- 41:55New York will be turned into a mosque.
- 41:57People will be praying in the street.
- 41:58And it's happening right now. By the way, New York is already
- 42:00the Muslims are praying loud and proud on the streets, you know,
- 42:03saying Allah Akbar and all that stuff.
- 42:05So I hope he's just Muslim, but if he is practicing to Kia, good
- 42:09luck to New York. You need to vote this guy out.
- 42:12What do you see in terms of you saw conversions happening in
- 42:16Egypt through your father's ministry?
- 42:20You're both now in Australia. We were talking before we
- 42:23started the podcast about conversions happening in the
- 42:26Muslim world. I'm curious what you see
- 42:28happening now and then also what you see just happening in
- 42:31Australia with people waking up to the truth about the humanity
- 42:36of the baby, the dignity of the person, Christianity.
- 42:40How are things looking? I will speak about, as long as
- 42:42you can speak about the preachers, what God is doing
- 42:44there. God is definitely moving like I
- 42:46never want to. I know sometimes we sound very
- 42:48negative. You know, all this happening, No
- 42:50Christ is victorious, God wins. God is God is on the throne in,
- 42:55in, in Muslim countries. Although Islam might be moving
- 42:58to the West and taking over, God is moving in the Muslim
- 43:00countries. God never loses in Indonesia
- 43:031,000,000 Muslims come to Christ every single year in Indonesia.
- 43:07Last month we were preaching in Indonesia, and during my sermon,
- 43:09I look at the back and there's Muslim ladies in a hijab writing
- 43:13notes and reading their Bible. And the reason they're in a
- 43:15hijab is not because they're Muslim, is because they're
- 43:17scared of someone taking a photo and their parents finding out.
- 43:19So God is moving. In fact, in Gaza, being they're
- 43:22undercover, they're undercover Christians because they're
- 43:25Christians, they'll get killed. They'll get killed if their
- 43:27parents find out about it. So they're wearing hijab
- 43:29interests. So God is moving in.
- 43:31In Gaza, a few months ago, 200 Gazans saw a vision of Jesus the
- 43:35same night and became Christians.
- 43:36In Iran, they have 75,000 mosques.
- 43:40In 2023, the Muslim leader got up worried and fearful.
- 43:44He said there are 50,000 mosques shutting down across Iran.
- 43:48Why defunding young people don't want to go, Lots of reasons.
- 43:51But what I'm saying is God is moving in the Middle East.
- 43:54God is moving there is revival happening while the Christians
- 43:56are getting killed in Egypt. Last week, when that mother, the
- 43:59Christian mother came out of the church and three of her boys
- 44:01were chopped up in pieces, guess what the church did?
- 44:04The church decided we're going to March through the street
- 44:06praying the Lord's Prayer. They're going to March through
- 44:09the streets of Egypt. Not scared, not terrified,
- 44:12declaring the name of Jesus. Christians are waking up.
- 44:15God is moving. There is revival happening.
- 44:17The question is, is God gonna bring revival in your nation?
- 44:20So God is moving and with the preachers.
- 44:22Yeah, well, even just to add on to that, this is not the time
- 44:25where Christians can act like God is not still the God of
- 44:28miracles. Like we can't be in that, that,
- 44:30that zone anymore because the truth is, as we're kind of
- 44:33getting to before, we're not wrestling against flesh and
- 44:36blood, but against powers and principalities of evil.
- 44:39So this whole thing we see, as you've mentioned, you're seeing
- 44:42so many Muslims having dreams in, in the middle of the night
- 44:45and God is moving through a supernatural way because these
- 44:50people, the truth is it's a, it's a demonic thing.
- 44:52There is a demonic stronghold, I believe.
- 44:54Well, his dad has so many stories of just walking through,
- 44:57you know, prison cells and just people are manifesting and and
- 45:00are being cost out just by human we.
- 45:02Welcome. Plenty of demons ourselves as
- 45:04cultures just because of playing with witchcraft.
- 45:06And yes. Oh yeah, you know, Yeah.
- 45:09What? They did how they fought for
- 45:13their country. Yeah, so, so in Panama they were
- 45:15by. The way I do think you're on to
- 45:16something there because when I look at jihadists like what it
- 45:20took for these men to crash planes into airplanes, what it
- 45:23took for those men to butcher those boys outside of the
- 45:25church. I believe it's more than.
- 45:27Of course there's demonic presence there.
- 45:29I mean, of course, who did Muhammad claims he heard from An
- 45:32Angel, a God's Angel. Who is that?
- 45:34Like that is Satan, clearly, because he's not telling the
- 45:36God's truth to them, to him. So 100%.
- 45:39Clearly there's a demonic origin there.
- 45:40Yeah, and it would be foolish for us to think that there isn't
- 45:43demonic activity today, especially with regard to these
- 45:47like horrific treatment of children of women.
- 45:51Terrorism. Yeah.
- 45:52I mean, people, people. I think sometimes Christians
- 45:54forget that demons don't die. They're acting like all of these
- 45:57stories we see in the Bible, like just like, you know, we see
- 46:00in mocked up to five, a man who is filled with the legion of
- 46:03demons and Jesus comes up to this man.
- 46:05And the saddest reality for me, like going not even just talking
- 46:08about Muslims, just talking about the West in general.
- 46:11The saddest reality for me is the fact that if that man who
- 46:14was cutting himself, it says he was cutting himself with stones.
- 46:18It says he was crying out day and night that chains weren't
- 46:20even able to subdue him. And so he was living out
- 46:24residing in the cemetery. The saddest reality for me today
- 46:27is the fact that this man filled with the legion of demons, if he
- 46:30was around today, the Christians wouldn't be like, let's pray for
- 46:34this man, intercede for this man.
- 46:35Many Christians would believe the false lie that oh, this man
- 46:38is is wrestling with mental health.
- 46:40Let's just put him in like a group home.
- 46:42Let's just put him on medication to numb his brain.
- 46:44That's why we need a lot of exorcists.
- 46:46Yeah. We, we have a lot of them on the
- 46:48show because there is a process, a formal process that the
- 46:50Catholic Church uses, which is you, you do a mental health
- 46:53evaluation. You do do that because sometimes
- 46:55there is a mental health element or it could be a mental health
- 46:57issue, but a lot of the times it isn't.
- 46:59Yeah. And then you go through a
- 47:02process because you are dealing with demonic, demonic run.
- 47:07You don't want to. You don't want to pretend like,
- 47:09oh, I'm, I know everything. I can deal with this.
- 47:11I mean, in the name of Jesus, obviously we have power and his
- 47:15name is powerful, but we, I think the word discernment that
- 47:20you used earlier merely is such an important word for any of
- 47:23this when it has to do with understanding.
- 47:26And I also think when we're talking about Muslims, again,
- 47:29yes, I do think there's largely A demonic presence there in
- 47:32Islam that was a source of Islam.
- 47:35The individual motivations and issues, the mindsets of, you
- 47:39know, a terror like a Muslim terrorist.
- 47:41What is that? We could probably have a whole.
- 47:44Yeah, you. Know there's a tremendous amount
- 47:45of research that could be done on that spiritual perspective.
- 47:48I'm sure every case has its differences, but I think your
- 47:50point is that Christians can't be sleepy anymore about this.
- 47:54We don't have anything on anything, but we certainly with
- 47:57regard to our Muslim brothers and sisters that we love, we
- 48:00want them to come to Christ. But the foundations of Islam
- 48:03being so antithetical to the teachings of Jesus.
- 48:06Yeah, we, we Christians can't be sleepy.
- 48:08And I believe like this goes right back to what we were
- 48:10saying at the beginning of where does our boldness come from?
- 48:12Christians, we don't have an option anymore to just be
- 48:16playing church and playing, you know, I'll just tick off the box
- 48:19and I'll go whatever. No, we need to be wrestling in
- 48:23our rooms, going in, shutting the door of reading scripture
- 48:26and getting very close to the heart of God because boldness to
- 48:29be able to stand up to whatever is going in society, it only
- 48:33comes in the presence of God. You know, a lot of people ask
- 48:36like, where does this boldness come from?
- 48:38And they assume that we just have these like loud
- 48:40personalities, Like it's a personality trait.
- 48:42Maybe you're charismatic. It's just the way that you hold
- 48:45yourself. That couldn't be more more of a
- 48:47lie for me. Like I am the total opposite of
- 48:50I was extremely shy growing up. Extremely.
- 48:54Like my testimony is at the age of 8, I feel the presence of
- 48:58God. I'm just attending kids church.
- 48:59Nobody's praying over me, but I just feel the power of God at
- 49:03the age of 8 and I, I just fall into his presence.
- 49:06And from the age of 8 onwards, I knew that the call of God in my
- 49:10life was to speak whatever word God gave me.
- 49:13From the age of eight, I knew I was placed on this earth to be a
- 49:16mouthpiece for God. And I'm like, that's interesting
- 49:19because God, that couldn't be more antithetical to me as a
- 49:21person. I'm the most shy, quiet,
- 49:24insecure young girl and you want to use my mouth like I was the
- 49:27type of girl that let alone like speaking in front of an
- 49:31audience, I would hide in the bathroom at church after the
- 49:33service because I didn't want to have a conversation.
- 49:35Like I was like social anxiety to the Max.
- 49:38And I'm like, God, OK, you are calling me to something that is
- 49:41completely opposite to what I am gifted or skilled at.
- 49:44Why is that? And I now know in in retrospect,
- 49:47it's so that he gets all the glory.
- 49:48He calls people to things that they are not naturally skilled
- 49:51at so that he gets the glory. So that I can say this, this is
- 49:54not by my own doing or my own personality or my own giftings.
- 49:58It is only by the Spirit of God. And then people ask us a lot.
- 50:02So where do you get your boldness from?
- 50:04And it's simply in Acts chapter 4.
- 50:05I love how the Bible tells us that the people were amazed at
- 50:09the boldness of Peter and John. It says they're amazed at their
- 50:12boldness. And it says the very next verse
- 50:15is so they perceived that these men had been with Jesus.
- 50:19So these men were bold and it made people understand that they
- 50:22must have spent time with Jesus. And the truth is, if you lack
- 50:26boldness to speak up against abortion, to speak about all of
- 50:30these topics in society today, If you lack boldness, the very
- 50:34simple answer is get in the presence of God, be with the
- 50:37one, the spirit that gives you the power to speak and he will
- 50:41give you boldness. And that is my story.
- 50:43When I was, you know, years back when I was spending time, as I
- 50:46said before, spending time in his presence.
- 50:48All of a sudden this boldness came over me when I realized it
- 50:52is the absolute truth that we must speak up for those who
- 50:55cannot speak for themselves. And all of a sudden, it wasn't
- 50:58by might nor by power, but it was the Spirit of God inside of
- 51:02me that bubbled up and made me say, I cannot stay silent about
- 51:06this. And so I don't believe in there
- 51:08being such a thing as Christians who are just quiet.
- 51:12I don't believe in that. I believe in different
- 51:14personality types. I am quiet by nature, but I
- 51:17don't believe in silent Christians.
- 51:18I don't believe that's a thing because I believe.
- 51:20And it's interesting, this word for boldness when it says that
- 51:23they saw the boldness of Peter and John.
- 51:25This word for boldness in the Greek is the word parasia, which
- 51:29means unreserved speech or it means not speaking with
- 51:32ambiguity or trying to cover. You know, there's preachers now,
- 51:35but you're like, I don't really know what these preacher belief.
- 51:38There are a lot of preachers now where you're like, I don't know
- 51:40if you believe abortion is wrong because they speak in this like,
- 51:43you know this like metaphorical language vague like they'll say
- 51:46don't sin, but they won't call what is a sin.
- 51:49They won't they. Don't want to get practical out
- 51:50of fear of offense. Yeah, like preachers need to be
- 51:53more dogmatic. Like, tell me what is wrong.
- 51:56Like, we hear people all the time say people know that, you
- 51:59know, sin is bad. They already know what's wrong.
- 52:01I'm like, do they like, do people know that homosexuality,
- 52:03sin doesn't look like it? We got pride parades, people
- 52:06celebrating the sin of pride. I'm like, I don't think people
- 52:08know what is a sin and I love that.
- 52:10Boldness, according to this Greek parasia, means not
- 52:14speaking in a roundabout way, covering it up.
- 52:17No, just plainly say abortion is an evil of our time and we must
- 52:22speak up for the unborn and it comes from the presence of God.
- 52:26That boldness comes in the presence of God do.
- 52:27You feel like that is through your preaching and other people
- 52:31having boldness. I think about someone like
- 52:34Joanne, Anna Howe who is amazing doing work in Australia and
- 52:38others. Do you think that there is a
- 52:40tide that's beginning to turn in Australia?
- 52:42Yes. God is moving people, getting
- 52:44yeah awakened. Boldness.
- 52:47Boldness is contagious. I mean, it says that they had
- 52:49been with Jesus. That's where their bonus came
- 52:51from. So the bonus of Jesus, it, it
- 52:54flew, it moved on to them. It's a contagious thing and
- 52:57we're seeing that. And Gen.
- 52:58Z, by the way, are finished with lukewarm spirits.
- 53:01They're finished. So I think the reason, the
- 53:04reason a lot of preachers now are starting to speak the truth.
- 53:06There's a part of it that's spiritual, a part of it is just
- 53:09progressive Christianity is not in business anymore.
- 53:12It's not working like 15 years ago if you got.
- 53:14Seeing that in Australia first hand.
- 53:16Australia. America.
- 53:17Like, well, it looks. Indistinguishable.
- 53:18The problem is it looks indistinguishable from the
- 53:20culture. Yeah, it's just like extra nice
- 53:23culture. I think you're a better Ted talk
- 53:25than a preacher. Like if that's what I'm here
- 53:26for, a Ted talk. Or well, people told us when we
- 53:29preach the truth, your church is going to be empty.
- 53:32We're seeing the opposite. Our church is full.
- 53:34God is moving. Gen.
- 53:35Z are flocking to our church because Gen.
- 53:37Z are not progressive like the Gen.
- 53:39Z. What I love about Gen.
- 53:40Z is they're they're on fire and they'll either be on fire for
- 53:43the world or fight for God. They're not in the middle
- 53:45anymore. They're very passionate people
- 53:48and they're looking for, they're looking for something to back
- 53:50with their whole life. And that's what we're seeing in
- 53:52our church. We're seeing, we're seeing young
- 53:54men come in our church with a dress on and I hear our sermon
- 53:57for six months. They hate us.
- 53:58We tell them, don't come to church in a dress.
- 54:00And we told them you can't come to church.
- 54:01You can come, we love you, but you can't wear a dress when you
- 54:03come here. And he looks at us angry.
- 54:05He doesn't want to say hi to us. He's looking down.
- 54:07We try to shake his hand. He doesn't want to Gen.
- 54:10Z. And six months later, he's on
- 54:11the floor, on his knees, repenting.
- 54:13Now he's in the House of God building church.
- 54:15He doesn't identify as homosexual anymore.
- 54:17So God is really moving in Gen. Z and the older generation, I
- 54:20think they're looking. The older preachers are looking
- 54:23and they're like, man, our strategy is not working anymore.
- 54:25We need to start preaching. Truth.
- 54:27Yeah, so. And I'm starting to notice a
- 54:28shift. Got it.
- 54:29It's it's preachers are starting to realize what we always should
- 54:32have realized and it's that the truth does set people free.
- 54:35Covering up the truth and avoiding conversations.
- 54:38It doesn't actually set people free.
- 54:39It keeps them in chains. The amount of women that have
- 54:42come to our church having had many abortions in their past,
- 54:46coming to our church saying thank you for fight.
- 54:48Like finally someone tells me this was wrong.
- 54:51Like you, you'd say it how it is it it's murder and you tell me
- 54:54it was wrong. Now I can finally repent because
- 54:57I know it's wrong and I can be set free.
- 54:59And they're saying now finally the people think that, you know,
- 55:03don't speak about abortion in church because it's going to
- 55:05lead to shame. I'm like the women are already
- 55:07feeling that shame and it's actually not speaking about it
- 55:11that causes someone to feel ashamed.
- 55:12It's not speaking about it that keeps them in their shame.
- 55:16I think about David, King David. It's the unrepentant sin of him
- 55:20with Bathsheba that was causing him to feel the heavy hand of
- 55:23God on him. And it wasn't until he repented
- 55:26and therefore experienced the forgiveness of God that that
- 55:28weight comes off his shoulders. And that's what we're seeing.
- 55:31If we just preach the truth, then that truth comes to
- 55:36people's minds, then they can actually change their mind,
- 55:38repent metanoia and experience the forgiveness of God.
- 55:42And so a lot of people, you know, they, they cover up the
- 55:45Bible. Let's not talk about the stuff
- 55:46that's going to hurt or offend anybody.
- 55:48They're covering it up. They're removing scriptures.
- 55:49They won't talk about certain things acting as though the word
- 55:52of God is like a pillow here to comfort you in your sleep and in
- 55:56your sin. The word of God is not a pillow.
- 55:58The word of God is described as a double edged sword in Hebrews
- 56:00412. And by covering it up and
- 56:02putting pillows and wrapping around the Scripture now, no,
- 56:05it's actually not able to peace people's hearts anymore, leading
- 56:08them to repentance. I think about Peter when he
- 56:10preached on the day of Pentecost, it says that the
- 56:12people were cut to the heart. So the Word of God is actually
- 56:14supposed to offend you, sometimes cut you, lead you to a
- 56:18place of conviction, ultimately to lead you to a place of
- 56:20repentance, then to lead you to a place of forgiveness.
- 56:24And so by covering up the Word of God, the sword of the Spirit,
- 56:26we're actually making the gospel ineffective.
- 56:29And I think preachers are starting to realize that because
- 56:31they're hearing of all of these stories in our Church of people
- 56:33being set free, people finding forgiveness for their abortions,
- 56:37people being set free from homosexuality and gender
- 56:40dysphoria, simply because we choose to believe that it is the
- 56:43truth that sets people free. If we just speak it, then God
- 56:46and his Spirit can change any heart.
- 56:48Yes, when we speak it. Charles No.
- 56:51Who was it? It was Charles Spurgeon who said
- 56:54the word of God is a lion. I think a lot of people today,
- 56:57they think the word of God is like a dog on a leash.
- 56:59You know, we got to keep it. And if the preachers are like,
- 57:01I'm not going to preach about this thing and they're
- 57:03controlling the word of God, they're they're keeping the word
- 57:06of God on a leash. I don't want to preach it.
- 57:07I don't want to offend people. Charles Spurgeon said the word
- 57:09of God is a lion and you don't tame a lion, you release it.
- 57:13The word of God is not something to tame.
- 57:14I'm going to, you know, put a leash on it and I'm going to
- 57:16make sure people don't get offended.
- 57:18It's a line you release. And that's what we do every time
- 57:20we step on the pulpit, wherever we go, I tell people, I'm not
- 57:22here to please you. I'm going to release the word of
- 57:24God. Whatever the word of God is, I'm
- 57:26going to say it and it can do whatever it wants.
- 57:28The lion might repeater shreds in in conviction.
- 57:32The line might come for you. I don't know what the water God
- 57:34is going to do, but I'm not here to tell the water God what to
- 57:36do. I'm just releasing.
- 57:37It yeah. What structure do you all use
- 57:39for protecting that voice that you're speaking with, where
- 57:44you're trying to speak what God would want you to speak, right?
- 57:47We are his human vessels that have our own brokenness, our own
- 57:51imperfections, our own sin. But God can use us incredibly
- 57:54because that's his he's our father.
- 57:56He wants to use us, our the spirit moves.
- 57:58So when you are preaching, I mean, I think you're so solid on
- 58:02life, right? That has been an incredible
- 58:04prophetic word that I've seen you speak and I think it's so
- 58:07desperately needed on marriage. Again, most churches won't touch
- 58:10it. So you're clearly on to
- 58:12something because it's very unusual, I think, for people,
- 58:16unfortunately, in mainstream Christianity to be talking so
- 58:19boldly on these issues. That being said, how do you, I,
- 58:23I guess with the question, we form your consciences on these
- 58:25issues and also discern when you're speaking that yes, I, I
- 58:30believe, I'm confident I'm speaking with the Spirit as
- 58:33opposed to, oh, this is my own invention, my imagination and
- 58:36all the imperfections that come with it.
- 58:37Yeah. Yeah, I mean, my, the verse that
- 58:40always comes to mind is how what God said to the prophet
- 58:43Jeremiah, he said, Jeremiah, stand in the courtyard of your
- 58:46God, speak everything I've commanded you to speak and do
- 58:50not omit a word. I don't believe our job as
- 58:53preachers is to decide for ourselves.
- 58:56Let's put the Bible on a scale and decide what should we say
- 59:00and what shouldn't we say. Charles Spurgeon, he actually
- 59:02spoke about these kind of preachers who wouldn't speak
- 59:04about certain things in the Bible.
- 59:06And Charles Spurgeon said, he says, I see it as sheer
- 59:09arrogance for any man to decide not to speak about what the all
- 59:14wise gods saw fit to reveal in his word.
- 59:17It's sheer arrogance for me to put the Bible on a scale as if
- 59:20to say, I can say this, but maybe this might offend people,
- 59:24as though we wouldn't want the Bible to end up in the hands of
- 59:27anybody. I hope the Bible gets in the
- 59:29hands of everybody. So for us, it's very simple.
- 59:31We will speak whatever the Bible says, full stop.
- 59:34If it's in the Bible, we're speaking about it.
- 59:36We're not omitting a word, cursed as anyone who adds or
- 59:39takes away from the Word of God. And so that's our stance.
- 59:41If it's in the Bible, we will speak.
- 59:43And, and I think in the West American churches, a lot of them
- 59:46have focused a lot on the fire of the Holy Spirit.
- 59:48You know, there's a lot of, you know, very Pentecostal churches.
- 59:51And, and I believe in the move of the Holy Spirit.
- 59:53I believe in speaking in tongues.
- 59:54I believe in miracles. But we've emphasized so much on
- 59:57the fire of the Holy Spirit, but we forgot about the fire of the
- 59:59word of God. There's two types of fires in
- 1:00:01the Bible. The fire of the Holy Spirit that
- 1:00:03came on a day of Pentecost. But there is also fire of the
- 1:00:05Word of God. Where Jeremiah said his word is
- 1:00:08in my heart like a fire. A fire shut up in my bones.
- 1:00:11And Jeremiah said if I try to keep silent, Jeremiah even said
- 1:00:14I tried to keep silent. He said I didn't want to speak
- 1:00:16in his name, I didn't want to mention his word.
- 1:00:18But he said his word is in my heart like a fire, a fire shut
- 1:00:21up in my bones. I am weary of holding it in.
- 1:00:23And that's what I tell people. I tell people I'm not trying to
- 1:00:27be passionate, right? I'm not trying to yell.
- 1:00:30I'm not trying to to be extreme. I'm not trying to tell you stop
- 1:00:34about. I'm not trying to push.
- 1:00:35I'm just the word of God has filled me with fire.
- 1:00:38I can't sleep at night. Yeah, sometimes I can't sleep
- 1:00:40till 2:00 in the morning because God's speaking to me.
- 1:00:42And every time I get up on that pulpit, I do what John Wesley
- 1:00:45said. John Wesley said I light myself
- 1:00:47on fire and I let the world watch me burn.
- 1:00:48So is your process like I'm just going to read Holy Scripture and
- 1:00:51read and read and pray and pray and just like sit with it and
- 1:00:53then it just comes You get when when you preach, how do you
- 1:00:57prepare for your sermon? Yeah, I, I, I like to say what?
- 1:01:00Billy Graham. Billy Graham has an awesome
- 1:01:01quote. Billy Graham said I hold the
- 1:01:03newspaper on one hand and a Bible on one hand.
- 1:01:05Yeah, a lot of people are just holding a newspaper.
- 1:01:07They're focused on culture. They're like, oh, this is what's
- 1:01:10wrong and it's so negative. But a lot of people are holding
- 1:01:12just the Bible in their hand. What does that mean?
- 1:01:14Those are the preachers who, you know, expository preaching.
- 1:01:16And I love expository preaching or drama, but they go verse by
- 1:01:19verse and they preach the Bible, but they never related to the
- 1:01:21culture and the issues we're in. Billy Graham said, I hold the
- 1:01:24newspaper on one hand and the Bible on one hand.
- 1:01:25What we do when we prepare our sermon.
- 1:01:27I always thought about what's happening in the world.
- 1:01:30Pride parades. There is pride, there is
- 1:01:32selfishness, there is aborting our babies.
- 1:01:34What is happening on the newspaper.
- 1:01:36But then I don't end there. Then I'll pick up the word of
- 1:01:38God and I tell them, now let me tell you what the word of God
- 1:01:40says. We get what we're not preparing
- 1:01:42our sermon. I get my idea from, you know, a
- 1:01:44few texts in the Bible that say my worldview of preparation.
- 1:01:47The first one, when Jesus said Jesus never said do this, this,
- 1:01:50this. He says you have heard it said,
- 1:01:52but I say to you, you have heard it said that do not commit
- 1:01:56adultery. But I say to you, if you look at
- 1:01:58a woman's lust, you've committed adultery already.
- 1:02:00So that's what we get to do. We say you have heard it.
- 1:02:02Said. This is what culture is telling
- 1:02:04you. Culture is telling you that, you
- 1:02:06know, a man can sleep with a man and a woman can sleep with a
- 1:02:08woman. But now let me tell you what the
- 1:02:10word of God has to say. It's kind of like Elijah on
- 1:02:12Mount Carmel. I always think about that story.
- 1:02:14Why did Elijah not just go up with the prophets of Baal?
- 1:02:17You know that with that battle with the prophets of Baal, why
- 1:02:20didn't he just get up and just call on God to bring fire from
- 1:02:23heaven and just finish the show in 5 minutes?
- 1:02:25Why didn't he not just get glory to God in 5 minutes?
- 1:02:28He allowed them for about 8 hours to mock their God.
- 1:02:32Elijah said you talk to your God.
- 1:02:33Maybe your God's in the toilet, maybe your God is sleeping.
- 1:02:36Maybe you got and Elijah just sat there watching what culture
- 1:02:39is doing, watching what they're doing.
- 1:02:40And he allowed all of Israel to watch this.
- 1:02:42Why? He wanted to mock their God
- 1:02:44first. And then Elijah, the last 10
- 1:02:46minutes, he gets up, Let me show you my God.
- 1:02:49And every point I preach, I'm always saying this.
- 1:02:51I'm saying the world has told you this, but now let me tell
- 1:02:53you what God is telling you. Most preachers are saying Jesus
- 1:02:56is king. I'm saying he's king of kings.
- 1:02:59Most preachers are just saying Jesus is good, he's God.
- 1:03:01I'm saying no, he's the king of kings.
- 1:03:03He is God over Muhammad. He is God over Jehovah's
- 1:03:05Witnesses, over Mormonism. He is the king of kings.
- 1:03:08So when we're preaching, we're not just showing our God, we're
- 1:03:10showing the false God. And now we'll show you our God.
- 1:03:13Yeah, that's kind of the way I prepare.
- 1:03:14And that is the point of the church.
- 1:03:15I think sometimes we forget part of our role as described in the
- 1:03:19Bible is that the church is meant to be a pillar of truth in
- 1:03:22society. So our job as the church is not
- 1:03:25just to edify the believers and equip the Saints.
- 1:03:28It's to be in the middle of society, in the middle of
- 1:03:31culture pillars. In that time when Paul is
- 1:03:34speaking, they were put up, placed in the very center of a
- 1:03:37city. And at the top of the pillar it
- 1:03:40would be placed what was going on with the king, what the king
- 1:03:43believes. This is what the king is saying.
- 1:03:45This is what the king. This is the edict of the king.
- 1:03:48And so that's what the which is meant to be.
- 1:03:49We're not supposed to be just within the four walls staying.
- 1:03:52This is what we believe about this.
- 1:03:53Many Christians say, you know, I believe abortion is wrong, but
- 1:03:56who are we to tell the world let's just keep it to ourselves.
- 1:03:59No, we're supposed to be a pillar of truth in society,
- 1:04:01meaning we're supposed to be the moral compass of the world.
- 1:04:04Yeah, we have the word of God. We have the morality that God
- 1:04:08has given us. We're supposed to get that out
- 1:04:10in society and culture and say society is saying abort your
- 1:04:14babies. No, God is saying that life is
- 1:04:16sacred. So we're supposed to be out in
- 1:04:18the middle as a the pillar saying this is what King Jesus
- 1:04:21says to the society right now. That's what Christianity is
- 1:04:24meant to be. That's the church.
- 1:04:25What do you think is next for you both as a couple?
- 1:04:28So you're both pastoring right now in Australia.
- 1:04:30You sounds like you're travelling and speaking,
- 1:04:32preaching. You're very passionate about
- 1:04:35what's happening with Islam and the persecuted church.
- 1:04:38Yeah, yeah. We're, we're so we're, we're,
- 1:04:41we're posturing, you know, Echo Church next step, we're Echo
- 1:04:44Church is planting in Florida. So we're going to be planting in
- 1:04:46a church in, in USA 2026. So it's going to be a lot of
- 1:04:50travelling. We're going to be in a two
- 1:04:51months here, two months there. It looks like travelling.
- 1:04:54I think next month we're in Brazil preaching, next year in
- 1:04:57Europe preaching. We're just declaring the word of
- 1:04:59God and, and our goal, our heart is really to see a revival.
- 1:05:02We want to see an awakening. I'm not OK with, I'm not OK with
- 1:05:06Australia going to hell. I'm not OK with America going to
- 1:05:08hell. I'm not OK with pride parades
- 1:05:11filling the streets. I want Jesus Christ to fill the
- 1:05:14American streets that I want to see a revival.
- 1:05:17I don't want to see a few salvations.
- 1:05:18Although heaven rejoices, ever one Sinner repents.
- 1:05:21I'm not happy with that. Yeah, I'm not happy with that.
- 1:05:23The Kingdom of God will advance and it will win.
- 1:05:25So we want to see a revival. Yeah, and we believe God is
- 1:05:29sending us to different nations and what we saw in one
- 1:05:33particular nation, Panama and Central America, that's what we
- 1:05:37want to see in every nation we go to.
- 1:05:38You know, in Panama, just quickly the story in Panama,
- 1:05:40they were trying to pause. They were trying to pass through
- 1:05:43in the legislation abortion laws where it's legal to abort your
- 1:05:46baby up until nine months. They were trying to bring in gay
- 1:05:48marriage. And whilst most countries say
- 1:05:51Christians should stay out of politics, let people do whatever
- 1:05:53they want, the Christians of Panama, we were there last year
- 1:05:56in the biggest church in Panama. And the Christians there said,
- 1:05:59no, we are the watch keepers of a nation and what we are the the
- 1:06:05moral gatekeepers. We are here to be the moral
- 1:06:08compass of this nation. And so the Christians did two
- 1:06:10things. They decided we're going to go
- 1:06:12out. Thousands of Christians,
- 1:06:14hundreds of thousands of Christians went out into the
- 1:06:15street to protest saying no, abortion will not be legal in
- 1:06:19this nation. Gay marriage will not be legal
- 1:06:21in this nation. And the other thing they did was
- 1:06:23the church decided, they hired helicopters.
- 1:06:26They went to all the corners of of the country of Panama with
- 1:06:30anointing oil pouring out oil over the nation of the city of
- 1:06:34Panama. And to this day, abortion is not
- 1:06:37legal in Panama. Gay marriage.
- 1:06:38That recently. We were preaching there.
- 1:06:40We're preaching there next. That all happened within the
- 1:06:42last few. Years in 2023, yeah.
- 1:06:44Yeah. So abortion is not legal.
- 1:06:46Gay marriage is not legal. And would you believe that in
- 1:06:48June, when the rest of the world is celebrating pride and
- 1:06:53homosexuality in Panama, it is a national holiday.
- 1:06:56In June, family month, they are celebrating family month.
- 1:06:59September, they celebrate Bible month, they won.
- 1:07:02And that is what we want to see. We want to remind the
- 1:07:04Christians, you are not here just to be saved and go to
- 1:07:07heaven. If your job on this earth was
- 1:07:09just to be saved and get out of here, then why did God keep you
- 1:07:11on this earth? You're here for a reason.
- 1:07:13And it's to change the nation that God placed you in.
- 1:07:16And so we're going from nation to nation telling the Christians
- 1:07:19rise up, fight for justice, fight for morality, fight for
- 1:07:23truth, and believe that you actually can change the outcome
- 1:07:26of your nation. Yeah.
- 1:07:28And in regards to our marriage where we've been married eight
- 1:07:30years now, we're going to have lots of babies.
- 1:07:32We were saying before, yes, you can count on me.
- 1:07:34I'm going to have five at least babies.
- 1:07:37We will adopt as many as we have to, if we have to.
- 1:07:39Very passionate about babies because, you know, Islam is the
- 1:07:43fastest growing religion right now.
- 1:07:45Islam's not the biggest religion, but they're the
- 1:07:47fastest growing religion. We're at 2.7 billion Christians
- 1:07:51around the world. Islam's at 1.8 billion Muslims.
- 1:07:54But they're saying by 2050, Islam will outgrow Christianity,
- 1:07:57and not by conversion, but by procreation.
- 1:08:00So meanwhile, in the West, while we're aborting our babies, in
- 1:08:03America while we're aborting our babies, a million babies are
- 1:08:06getting killed every year while the feminist movement is selling
- 1:08:08woman, you're too busy to have a kid or the entrepreneur spirit
- 1:08:12of the woman. You know, I only have one baby
- 1:08:14because I can't afford them. I can't have time for them.
- 1:08:16The Muslims are having at least four babies each each.
- 1:08:19So in Muslim families, while we're aborting our babies, while
- 1:08:21we're killing our babies, while the feminists are only having
- 1:08:23one or two babies because they're too busy, the Muslim
- 1:08:25families are having four babies each at least.
- 1:08:27And not only that, Muhammad commands the Muslims to the
- 1:08:30Muslim men are allowed to marry 4 wives.
- 1:08:33So now you do the mathematics. Muhammad had 11 wives.
- 1:08:35He doesn't allow his men to have 11.
- 1:08:37He tells him to have four wives. So now you go to a Muslim
- 1:08:39country, and even in Europe there's a lot of men with four
- 1:08:41wives. So they're having now 4 babies
- 1:08:45with one wife, and you do the math, 4 * 4.
- 1:08:48Each Muslim family is having at least 16 babies.
- 1:08:51So meanwhile we're aborting our babies and killing them, they're
- 1:08:53having 16. So this is the thing that people
- 1:08:56need to understand. That's why we're very passionate
- 1:08:58about people having children and married couples having babies.
- 1:09:02It's it's Christianity does not just grow by conversion.
- 1:09:04We grow by multiplication. The first commandment given to
- 1:09:07mankind was not going to convert someone.
- 1:09:09It was go and multiply. Pharaoh did not Pharaoh in Old
- 1:09:13Testament, he didn't feed the Hebrews because of conversions.
- 1:09:16He feed the Hebrews who were having so much babies.
- 1:09:18There was so much. He got terrified.
- 1:09:20And I believe one of the biggest things the church is lacking in
- 1:09:23the West today is we're not having babies.
- 1:09:25We're not having babies. We believe both babies are a
- 1:09:27burden. While Hannah said Lord bless me
- 1:09:29with a baby, the feminists are saying, Lord, take my baby.
- 1:09:32We serve the God as I said before that God of Abraham,
- 1:09:35Isaac and Jacob. But Abraham said they don't have
- 1:09:37an Isaac. Acts 2 says in the last days I
- 1:09:39will pour out my spirit on your sons and daughters.
- 1:09:42The devil is threatened by the next generation and you wonder
- 1:09:45why abortion, abortion is so big.
- 1:09:47This is a demonic strategy. The devil knows Acts 2 Peter
- 1:09:50prophesized in the last days, I will pour out my spirit on your
- 1:09:53sons and daughters at a young age.
- 1:09:55So the devil knows I don't want children to come in this world.
- 1:09:58In fact, you know, interesting, when I was listening to an imam,
- 1:10:02a Muslim imam, he's a the Muslim preacher in a mosque, and he
- 1:10:05said the way Islam is going to take over America is three ways.
- 1:10:08He said #1 we're going to the Muslims are going to take over
- 1:10:11America through the womb of the woman.
- 1:10:12He said the first way we're going to take over America is
- 1:10:15through the womb of the woman. He said the womb of a Muslim
- 1:10:18woman versus the womb of an American woman.
- 1:10:20He said watch who wins. He said our woman, their womb
- 1:10:23will be filled with 456 babies. Your women are killing the
- 1:10:26babies in the womb. So #1 he's going to beat,
- 1:10:29they're going to overtake America.
- 1:10:30The Muslims through the womb of the woman, their woman will have
- 1:10:334 babies. We can abort our babies #2 he
- 1:10:36said. He said through immigration.
- 1:10:37Immigration is our number 2 strategy.
- 1:10:39We're going to migrate. We're going to leave our
- 1:10:41countries that already Muslim, move to London, move to Europe,
- 1:10:44move to Australia, America to make it Muslim.
- 1:10:46And #3 through the week, the weak pulpits and weak preachers.
- 1:10:50He loves seeing weak churches. Muslims love seeing weak
- 1:10:53churches. They love seeing churches
- 1:10:55approve of homosexuality because that is their that is their tool
- 1:10:59to get in America, Yeah. And bring their strong religion.
- 1:11:01Yeah. Have you all always had this
- 1:11:03view about fertility and about it's not common openness to life
- 1:11:07or not in Australia? It's not a common view, but I
- 1:11:10just You can't escape it when you're.
- 1:11:11But it just cares for you personally.
- 1:11:13Has this been something? Have you always felt this
- 1:11:15passion? Like we need to be open to life,
- 1:11:16we need to be open to children. I did because my my parents had
- 1:11:19four kids and if they could, they have had a lot more.
- 1:11:22Every Christian family in Egypt has at least 4 kids.
- 1:11:25It's very normal. It's it's normal, like for you,
- 1:11:27if you tell someone, have one kid and obviously understand
- 1:11:30some women have health issues and different problems.
- 1:11:33But if because you're a feminist should not only have one kid,
- 1:11:35people looking like, what's like, what's wrong today?
- 1:11:37If you see a woman with five kids, you think she's weird?
- 1:11:39Yeah, that's not weird in Egypt. That's good.
- 1:11:42But that's praised in Egypt. Yeah.
- 1:11:43So I grew up with that. Mentality and my perspective
- 1:11:46truly was always I do want to have as many children as I can
- 1:11:49because it's up to me and my husband to pass on Christianity
- 1:11:54to the next generation. It says train up a child in the
- 1:11:56ways of the Lord. So for me, the idea that I have
- 1:11:59the honour of training up children in the truth of of God
- 1:12:04in Christianity, that to me is the greatest honour.
- 1:12:06Like I've always wanted to pass on with that legacy.
- 1:12:09And you know, the truth is in the West.
- 1:12:12The reason, as you were saying, a lot of women have been sold
- 1:12:15the lie that children are burdened and children are
- 1:12:16slavery and don't have children. It's going to ruin your plans
- 1:12:19and ruin your ambitions. I believe that's why you're
- 1:12:21seeing the rise of dog mums in the West because the truth is
- 1:12:25women. I believe women according to the
- 1:12:27fact that Eve, she was literally called the mother of all living
- 1:12:30things. I believe it's a biological
- 1:12:31reality seen in Scripture that God designed women as nurturers.
- 1:12:35You can't escape that reality. That's just the truth.
- 1:12:37God made us to be nurturers, just like God made men to be the
- 1:12:40stronger vessels. You could see that it's a
- 1:12:42biological reality. And so God created women to be
- 1:12:45nurturers. And so the fact is, feminists,
- 1:12:47the feminist movement has been telling women for a long time
- 1:12:49the children. Having children is a burden and
- 1:12:52it's slavery. But women want to nurture life.
- 1:12:54I would. Actually, I mean, it's
- 1:12:56definitely self-proclaimed feminists, but it's really the
- 1:12:58sexual revolution, Yeah. Because the feminists before the
- 1:13:00sexual revolution were all like, we love baby, like, right.
- 1:13:02So, yeah, it's really business like revolution, like it's like
- 1:13:05the sexologist and like the. And like the contraceptive.
- 1:13:08Contraceptive. Yeah.
- 1:13:10I mean, all of that because this idea that women are equal to men
- 1:13:13and should be treated equally under law, Great.
- 1:13:15Some thumbs up. Great.
- 1:13:16Right. Right.
- 1:13:17But this idea that to be empowered as both a woman and a
- 1:13:20man, you need to be able to do what you want on your timeline
- 1:13:23and you're entitled to sex without responsibility, love,
- 1:13:26openness to life. That is really the.
- 1:13:28Reason I'm proud of their body count.
- 1:13:30Now it's like my body count's 50.
- 1:13:32Oh, he's so proud of right? There, Yeah.
- 1:13:33And when they asked Margaret Sanger, the the founder of the
- 1:13:36contraceptive pill, do you believe in sin, she said, no, I
- 1:13:40believe what is a sin is for women to have babies.
- 1:13:42So Margaret Sanger worldview is that it's a sin to have too many
- 1:13:46babies. And so the, the truth what we're
- 1:13:48seeing now is we're seeing mums with, have you seen like mothers
- 1:13:52with these fake baby dolls and mothers walking down the street
- 1:13:55with strollers with their, with their dogs?
- 1:13:58I think there's more pets now in Washington than children.
- 1:14:01Yeah. We I, I.
- 1:14:03In an airport. I think, yeah, I flew through at
- 1:14:04Washington Airport over the weekend and there were dogs
- 1:14:08everywhere. And also like, like instead of
- 1:14:10like places for babies, there's places for pets.
- 1:14:15And there's, there's, there's the, you know, vending machines
- 1:14:19with dogs. Treats aren't even vending
- 1:14:21machines with kids, You know, treats that are better for kids,
- 1:14:24but they're for dogs. I'm.
- 1:14:26Definitely in. Washington right now like this,
- 1:14:28but it's devastating too, because the reorientation of the
- 1:14:31human person instead of for fruitfulness.
- 1:14:34And and by the way, we talk about married couples should be
- 1:14:37have children. They should be open to life.
- 1:14:39Some married couples, I don't know about you guys, but have
- 1:14:41had fertility issues and yeah, that's a real struggle.
- 1:14:44And but be open to fruitfulness, whether that's spiritual or God
- 1:14:48blesses you with children physically.
- 1:14:50But we're all called for other people.
- 1:14:52Animals take good care of our animals like God created them.
- 1:14:55They're beautiful. But we are called to serve
- 1:14:57people and love people and grow and nurture people.
- 1:15:00That is well, she was called the mother of all living things, and
- 1:15:03she hadn't had. Children yet, so I always tell
- 1:15:06women that are struggling with infertility or they're not able
- 1:15:09to have children. I'm like, you can still, you
- 1:15:11still have the mandate of this mothering or you can be a
- 1:15:15spiritual mother. Many, there are so many children
- 1:15:18in the foster care system, children needing to be adopted.
- 1:15:21So God has called us to nurture life as women.
- 1:15:24Whether you can have babies or not, God still has created you
- 1:15:27to nurture life. And the sad thing for me is that
- 1:15:30that the reason I believe we're seeing so many dog mums and the
- 1:15:34love of animals is because women cannot escape their nurturing
- 1:15:38spirit. And so they're choosing it to do
- 1:15:40it with animals. So true.
- 1:15:41It's so sad because they were created for me to be, They were
- 1:15:45created to nurture life. And so because they've been told
- 1:15:48the lie, let's not do it. They're doing it with animals.
- 1:15:50And that is AI can see why that's a tempting thing for a
- 1:15:54lot of women because raising up a dog is much easier than
- 1:15:57raising up a child. There's no commitment, no
- 1:16:00commitment. They're not going to talk back
- 1:16:01to you. They're not going.
- 1:16:02To dishonor. You, they don't have an eternal
- 1:16:03soul, so you don't have to worry about their eternal state and
- 1:16:06whether or not they're going to heaven.
- 1:16:07So it's much easier. And I believe that the great one
- 1:16:11of the greatest indicators of whether a society is moral or
- 1:16:14not is when a society loves and and and cares more about animal
- 1:16:21rights than human rights. This to me is the greatest sign
- 1:16:25that our society is failing. It's that the same women who
- 1:16:28treat their dogs like literal babies in a in a stroller think
- 1:16:32it's OK to murder their own babies in the womb.
- 1:16:33That to me is the greatest sign of moral depravity in a society
- 1:16:37that we worship animals. You have vegan protesters on the
- 1:16:40street caring about not eating cows for food, cows that are not
- 1:16:43made in the image of God. They care more about animal
- 1:16:45rights than human rights. I believe that is the greatest
- 1:16:48sign of moral depravity. And GK Chesterton, the
- 1:16:51philosopher, he said it like this.
- 1:16:53He said where there is animal worship, there will be human
- 1:16:55sacrifice. Wherever there is a society that
- 1:16:58worships animals and worships animal rights, you will see
- 1:17:01human sacrifice in that nation. So we have always loved life,
- 1:17:05and the devil, by the way, hates.
- 1:17:06Children like I have, I'm not sure the camera can see I have a
- 1:17:09cross tattoo on my. I have a cross tattoo on my
- 1:17:12wrist. Can you see that?
- 1:17:13Yeah, I have a cross tattoo on my wrist.
- 1:17:16And how to know that? How do you know that the devil
- 1:17:18you know hates the young generation at the age of 1 in
- 1:17:21Egypt, if you're a Christian, your parents take you to the
- 1:17:24church at the age of 1 when you're a baby to get this cross
- 1:17:27tattooed, you're on your wrist. And the reason is is because the
- 1:17:30Muslim Brotherhood again understand the value of children
- 1:17:33and raising them up in the ways of your God.
- 1:17:35So what happened as a kid is the Muslim Brotherhood used to
- 1:17:38kidnap Christian babies. So he used to kidnap you.
- 1:17:41Well, you're in asleep wherever if you're in church, if they
- 1:17:44don't kill you, they'll kidnap the kids as a baby very young
- 1:17:47and raise them up in a Muslim family.
- 1:17:48So Christians kids used to wake up and they don't know.
- 1:17:52Maybe that is my a real dad. I'm a Muslim.
- 1:17:54So the Christians made a strategy and a plan.
- 1:17:55We're going to tattoo our babies with a cross.
- 1:17:57So the Muslim Brotherhood kidnaps them.
- 1:18:00That's all right. They're going to grow up.
- 1:18:01At the age of 10 or 15, they're going to look at their wrist and
- 1:18:04say, oh, I'm a Christian. Wow.
- 1:18:06My parents are Christian and a Muslim Brotherhood used to when
- 1:18:09they see this cross at the age of 1, they would burn it off.
- 1:18:12So you'd have a bunch of little kids with burn marks on them
- 1:18:15because they don't want this cross.
- 1:18:16And why am I saying this is, you see the demonic agenda that the
- 1:18:20devil, every religion and all hell knows the value of the next
- 1:18:24generation. They want to rob the next
- 1:18:26generation. They want to steal the next
- 1:18:27generation. Whether they want to kill them
- 1:18:28in the womb. And if they don't kill them in
- 1:18:30the womb, if the mother didn't abort them, they'll transition
- 1:18:33them at the age of 15. They'll cut their body parts.
- 1:18:35They just hate the young Shadrach, Mesh and Abednego's.
- 1:18:39I think sometimes we, we think Genzi, you know, the next
- 1:18:42generation, the older generation, look at them like
- 1:18:44you idiots or whatever. I'm like, no man, young
- 1:18:46generation, God has his hands on young people.
- 1:18:49You know, Joseph literally was 17 when he sold into slavery.
- 1:18:54All the disciples were in their 20s.
- 1:18:55So the devil knows that young generation are the future
- 1:18:58preachers, the future prophets, they're the future politicians
- 1:19:01and businessmen. So he just wants to rob them.
- 1:19:03Yeah. And the battles are always after
- 1:19:05the own people. And when we got married, we
- 1:19:07said, hey, the Bible says. Blessed is the man, Children are
- 1:19:10a blessing, they're a gift from the Lord.
- 1:19:11And blessed is the man who has a quibble.
- 1:19:14And we looked at each other, we're like, we don't know what a
- 1:19:15quibble fool is. I don't know how many that is,
- 1:19:17but it definitely sounds like more than one or two, at least
- 1:19:19three. I mean, do you, are you guys
- 1:19:21opposed to? Contraception or what's your
- 1:19:22church? 'S teaching on that well, a few
- 1:19:24years ago when I when I learnt. That the contraceptive pill is
- 1:19:28actually in a mortificin. When I learnt that we we stand
- 1:19:33hard on the line that life begins at conception.
- 1:19:36So when I learnt that, you know that the way contraception is
- 1:19:40working is through thin the lining of the uterus so that
- 1:19:42even if there is fertilization, it thins it to the point where
- 1:19:45it weren't implant. I was like as soon as I learned
- 1:19:48that, I'd never been taught that.
- 1:19:49But as soon as I learned that. So I mean, I remember being put
- 1:19:52on contraceptive. Pill.
- 1:19:53When I was like 13, not because I was sexually active.
- 1:19:56I can't even remember why they put me on it for acne.
- 1:19:59That's what they do. That's what they do, probably.
- 1:20:01Period. Yeah, to, to control your
- 1:20:03hormones, whatever. I'm like I was.
- 1:20:05Going through puberty, of course I'm going to be like hormonal
- 1:20:07and crazy. Like that's just what it means
- 1:20:09to be a, to be 13. And so they put me on and now
- 1:20:13that now I look back and I see, I believe it's such a demonic
- 1:20:17scheme from the enemy causing all this infertility.
- 1:20:19I believe that it's a demonic scheme because he seeks to still
- 1:20:22kill and destroy. And Jesus came to bring life.
- 1:20:25So I believe it's a demonic scheme to destroy life.
- 1:20:28So as soon as I learnt the reality of what contraception is
- 1:20:30actually doing, I, I had to come off, yeah, even though I was
- 1:20:34lied to about it when I was 13, I had to come off when I learnt.
- 1:20:37Yeah, yeah. And if you can't have babies, by
- 1:20:39the way, if anyone listening to us can't have.
- 1:20:40Babies adopt A baby. Like seriously, go, go, go raise
- 1:20:45up a child. I told Millie, I'll pray we can.
- 1:20:47We want 5-6 babies. But if we can't, we're gonna
- 1:20:50adopt A baby. I'm going to raise the young
- 1:20:52generation. I will get someone under me and
- 1:20:54I will multiply my anointing. I will multiply my voice.
- 1:20:57I wouldn't be here if my dad if it wasn't for my dad.
- 1:20:59My dad passed to me his courage, his bold, he's anointing, his
- 1:21:04teachings, his wisdom, and I'm not going to let it die with me.
- 1:21:07I'm going to pass it on. So I think every couple
- 1:21:11listening to us, if you are married, have kids, multiply, be
- 1:21:15fruitful and multiply, don't add, multiply.
- 1:21:19Have you guys heard of NFP Natural?
- 1:21:21Family Planning, that's a fertility awareness based
- 1:21:24methods to sort of understand the woman's fertility so that
- 1:21:28they can hopefully if they're, you know, in the season they
- 1:21:32want to get pregnant, let's try to get pregnant.
- 1:21:34And it can be used to space children if there's health
- 1:21:37difficulties. But it's a different posture
- 1:21:40than I agree with you on contraception.
- 1:21:41I mean, birth control today, hormonal birth control can be an
- 1:21:43abortifacion. So that's like no go zone.
- 1:21:45But then some, I know Christians are saying, Oh, well, barrier
- 1:21:48methods, contraception's OK, because as long as it's not the
- 1:21:52abortion kind, then you're, it's fine to use.
- 1:21:55And I think again, 100 years ago in Christianity, everyone was
- 1:21:59saying anything that would separate the procrit from the
- 1:22:03unitive and frustrate the sexual act.
- 1:22:04Anything is against God's design.
- 1:22:07So I'm curious if you guys have explored that yet or if that's
- 1:22:09something that, you know, you're kind of, it sounds like you're
- 1:22:11in the process with even learning about the birth control
- 1:22:13pill. Again, a lot of people were.
- 1:22:14They lied to young, they lied to young girls.
- 1:22:17I think the amount of girls that are on it and then later on they
- 1:22:20have problems with giving birth. It's crazy.
- 1:22:23But yeah, I think they just like, yeah, Millie was on it
- 1:22:25since she was literally 13. Yeah.
- 1:22:27And we eight years, you're on it and then you just found out.
- 1:22:31Yeah. And that might be a reason why.
- 1:22:33I mean, we don't we struggle. We wouldn't have a baby yet.
- 1:22:36Who knows if that was a reason. I believe God will have his will
- 1:22:38anyway. Yeah.
- 1:22:39I I. Definitely think that
- 1:22:41contributes. There's so much, so much
- 1:22:42research. Our stance would be that the
- 1:22:45idea should never be viewing children as a burden or a
- 1:22:49hindrance. So for at the beginning of our
- 1:22:51marriage, we used natural family planning because for the sake,
- 1:22:56not for us or our career or our ambitions, because we didn't
- 1:22:59believe at that time we would be able to be faithful to what God
- 1:23:02had caught us to and to raise up to do it in a way that wouldn't
- 1:23:07neglect the children that got God brought into our life.
- 1:23:10But the purpose and the mindset behind it was always, how are we
- 1:23:13going to serve these children the best?
- 1:23:15Because children are never a burden.
- 1:23:17They're always a blessing. And so that's always been you
- 1:23:20never view children as a burden. Do you regret that at all?
- 1:23:22That? Maybe if if you.
- 1:23:24Had known better? No, It sounds like you didn't
- 1:23:26know. And you know what I know now?
- 1:23:28I think. All the orders like people.
- 1:23:30Say to young married couple you know.
- 1:23:31Wait till you're ready, wait till the right time.
- 1:23:33And it's like there's never a right time or I know of, I know
- 1:23:35of a generation of Christian couples, my dad.
- 1:23:37Dated a woman in Bible school, yeah, who wanted him to get a
- 1:23:41best so that they could go preach the gospel in Africa.
- 1:23:44Yeah, yeah, yeah. So.
- 1:23:45That's a big thing now. By the way, it's a thing of
- 1:23:47like, well, we're not going to have our.
- 1:23:48Kids because we're. Going to have spiritual kids as
- 1:23:50a married couple, we're going to still have sex and begin to,
- 1:23:52we're going to like say no to the potential for life using
- 1:23:55condoms or using vasectomies or. And I, I think it's, it's a very
- 1:23:59much I I actually did a debate recently with a woman who's a
- 1:24:01DINK, dual income, no kids. Yeah, about that.
- 1:24:04And she was saying, well, I do really beautiful.
- 1:24:06Things for the community. That aren't children, but my my
- 1:24:10husband had a vasectomy. But we do this other stuff and I
- 1:24:12say, well, the design of sex is for life.
- 1:24:15And if we frustrate the design, yeah, we're saying no to those
- 1:24:18kids. Yeah, if we were to go back in.
- 1:24:19Time we'd definitely have babies a lot earlier for sure because
- 1:24:23we're 28 now we want to have 5-6 kids.
- 1:24:25So which means one kid every two years you're going to be what,
- 1:24:2838? Yeah, by the time So definitely
- 1:24:31would have had kids earlier, I think, I think everyone
- 1:24:34listening, you gotta the goal is get married to a godly woman,
- 1:24:37get married to a godly man, build a strong family, multiply,
- 1:24:40go to church. Don't listen to these secular
- 1:24:43ideas and progressive ideas. Whatever Christians did across
- 1:24:46history, most of it is not wrong.
- 1:24:48We can't keep progressing. That's a generally good, good
- 1:24:51instinct. Yeah, look at what?
- 1:24:52The Christians were doing 5. You know, usually it's pretty
- 1:24:55good. And if we believed it for 2.
- 1:24:581000 years like yeah don't be. Don't be narcissist and be like
- 1:25:01oh actually. Well then you can look at the
- 1:25:03why behind it, which I love. So like I.
- 1:25:05Was raised evangelical and became Catholic after studying
- 1:25:08these things about contraception.
- 1:25:09I'm like, wait a minute. Yeah, until literally 19, like
- 1:25:1320 or whatever, even the Anglicans, the everybody was
- 1:25:16against contraception. And I was like, I was like, that
- 1:25:19was not the way. Why?
- 1:25:20What is the teaching, the why behind it?
- 1:25:22And you look at Scripture and you look at tradition, OK, this
- 1:25:24is the why behind it. This is God.
- 1:25:26And it doesn't mean like you just have to like, you know,
- 1:25:28breed like rabbits or like, you know, have a baby every single
- 1:25:30minute. But it's like, be open to life,
- 1:25:32have that posture and then don't, don't frustrate the
- 1:25:34sexual act. You can be abstinent.
- 1:25:36And that's where he comes in. If there's a serious reason to
- 1:25:38avoid children, God can use that very beautifully in your
- 1:25:40marriage and intimacy. But then you look at other
- 1:25:43teachings too, and you just see the power of, of tradition in
- 1:25:47how other Christians from the time of Christ have lived out
- 1:25:52the faith in different cultures and different eras.
- 1:25:54And there's so much to learn that I think sometimes we forget
- 1:25:57about because we're all like just modern, modern, modern.
- 1:25:59Well, Christians are not studying history anymore.
- 1:26:01We're we're just looking. At Culture there is, I like to
- 1:26:03tell people you got to study the culture.
- 1:26:05As I said, the newspaper on one hand, the Bible, but you also
- 1:26:08got to read history books because you got to read history.
- 1:26:10You can't be so arrogant to think that what the church did
- 1:26:13for thousands of years, you know, we're kind of progressive
- 1:26:15and what we're young people don't know history.
- 1:26:17They're just moving forward and they think the Bible history.
- 1:26:20They're not taught history. You're right, they're not.
- 1:26:21And they taught even the wrong or they taught the wrong
- 1:26:23history. I guess whatever the media wants
- 1:26:26them to know about definitely study scripture Yeah, the Bible,
- 1:26:28history and the news. So long as the history never
- 1:26:30contradicted the scripture if. We've always believed that and
- 1:26:33it doesn't contradict the Bible. Yeah, I'm going to go with, I'm
- 1:26:36going to say that's probably. Yeah, that's the way we should
- 1:26:38be. You guys should you guys should
- 1:26:39join me over at math. Because the mass is 2000 years,
- 1:26:44you know, Eucharist, the local Catholic Church would bless it.
- 1:26:46It's the Blessed Sacrament. I mean, I love your passion and
- 1:26:49zeal and I hear the Holy Spirit in your hearts and I know that
- 1:26:52God is working through you. I see that.
- 1:26:54So I, but I think it's very beautiful Jesus in the
- 1:26:57Eucharist. I mean, he is here with us, of
- 1:27:00course, but he's here in a very special way.
- 1:27:02He said, I will not leave you. And he says when you eat my
- 1:27:07body, drink my blood, and he asks us to do it.
- 1:27:09And there is Jesus Christ, body, blood, soul and divinity in the
- 1:27:12Eucharist. That's the main reason I became
- 1:27:14Catholic. I'm like, Oh my gosh, here it
- 1:27:15is. You know, I want to receive Holy
- 1:27:17Communion. When did you become Catholic?
- 1:27:19College How? Many years ago is that?
- 1:27:21Oh gosh, how many years? Ago I just celebrated 16 years
- 1:27:24of being Catholic. 30, I'm 37. I just turned 37.
- 1:27:27Yeah, yeah, sorry. I'm just curious.
- 1:27:30I'm I'm. The I'm the matriarch here, but
- 1:27:32yeah. 37 OK so in college yeah, cool yeah we honestly we.
- 1:27:36Have lots of amazing friends from every denomination.
- 1:27:41I just tell the man, if you believe Jesus Christ is Lord,
- 1:27:44Yeah. And you're not going off that
- 1:27:45man. We're brothers and sisters in
- 1:27:46Christ. Jesus Christ is Lord.
- 1:27:48He's the way the truth and lies want us to unite even more.
- 1:27:50Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:27:51Because you're right, I think. About like the culture battles.
- 1:27:53Yeah, and. I think about like you
- 1:27:55mentioned, Panama and I'm like, we need, we need Jesus, the
- 1:27:58source, but I think mother church wants us to be 1.
- 1:28:02I don't think it's meant to be a 50,000 denominations Orthodox
- 1:28:05here, Catholic, like we're all like scattered.
- 1:28:07We're all like contraception. Like I, I think we're meant to
- 1:28:09have one and one and one teaching authority, which is
- 1:28:12obviously through Holy Scripture, but it's also through
- 1:28:15a, a hierarchy that he gave us. And I think you even practice it
- 1:28:18in your own way in your church, right?
- 1:28:19You are the pastor. You are a pastor and you're here
- 1:28:22to like help people understand what God's word says.
- 1:28:25And so, you know, my prayer is and I, I just kind of get into
- 1:28:28it somewhere on the podcast, I kind of stumble into it.
- 1:28:30I just need to start talking about it is Christian unity, but
- 1:28:33not like a unity of like, well, we just will agree to disagree
- 1:28:36and like, let's agree on what matters.
- 1:28:39And there's some things like certain kinds of prayer
- 1:28:40practices or spirituality. Yes, we have our in unique
- 1:28:43personality differences, but like Eucharist, the breaking of
- 1:28:46the bread, confession, obviously baptism, the sacraments, you
- 1:28:49know, these moral teachings, these matters of faith and
- 1:28:52morals, these things do matter. Yeah, and we should be united.
- 1:28:55The problem the churches today, denominations, is they're
- 1:28:58arguing. About secondary issues, like
- 1:29:00we're too busy arguing, you know, LED screen lights should
- 1:29:02have smoke machines. We don't have that issue in the
- 1:29:05Catholic Church. That one we don't have.
- 1:29:06You are. Usually see what's happening,
- 1:29:08yeah, no the. Denominations.
- 1:29:10Are so divided. And we're not setting a good
- 1:29:12example to the world. Jesus literally on the night of
- 1:29:15his betrayal, he the one prayer he prayed his Lord.
- 1:29:17Make them united as you and I are one.
- 1:29:20Let them be united. So I'm really praying, and
- 1:29:22that's what I'm doing. I love talking to.
- 1:29:23You're a Catholic. I love talking to different
- 1:29:25people because we are not here to fight each other and argue
- 1:29:28with each other. We have a Kingdom to build.
- 1:29:30Yeah. We have a Christ to preach.
- 1:29:31We have a God to serve, a church to build.
- 1:29:34And I think, yeah, we definitely need unity.
- 1:29:36You nailed it. We need unity in the church,
- 1:29:37unity with the believers. Yeah, exactly what I was saying
- 1:29:40before. I can't believe Christians see,
- 1:29:42you know, people getting persecuted in Egypt and they
- 1:29:45might be from a different denomination than me.
- 1:29:46Yeah, there might be different denomination, all different.
- 1:29:50I never, when I see a Christian get persecuted, ask what
- 1:29:52denomination are they? Yeah, ask are they Christian?
- 1:29:54Yeah, they're Christian, man. We're brothers.
- 1:29:56Are they being persecuted for the name of Christ?
- 1:29:58Yeah, well, Jesus, when? He looked when they said your
- 1:30:00mother. And brother outside, he said,
- 1:30:02who are my mother and who are my brothers?
- 1:30:04And literally like Mary's literally outside.
- 1:30:07And he's and his and his brothers and he says who are my
- 1:30:11mother and who are my brothers? And he says these are my mother
- 1:30:14and brothers. He says those who do the will of
- 1:30:16my father. Well, and that was also a huge
- 1:30:18compliment to Mary, yes, because she.
- 1:30:20Said she wasn't Jesus's mother because God just gave her, God
- 1:30:23just gave her the baby. She said yes.
- 1:30:25And she did the word of the word.
- 1:30:26Yeah. And so he was actually elevating
- 1:30:28her even more in that moment to say like, she is my mother
- 1:30:31because she's my mother biologically, yes, but she said
- 1:30:33yes to to me spiritually too. And I think that's like why
- 1:30:37she's such a a huge role model. But to your point, we can all
- 1:30:40say yes, like she said, yes, yeah, no, exactly.
- 1:30:43And be able to. Be his brothers.
- 1:30:44And sisters and his and the. Children of God, yeah.
- 1:30:46I do it those who do the will of my father.
- 1:30:49If you're, if you're doing the will of God, if you're obeying
- 1:30:51God and you know, you know, going out, getting drunk and
- 1:30:53sleeping outside of marriage and doing all these secular
- 1:30:55progressive, yeah, godless things, you're my brother.
- 1:30:58Yeah. And when I see them where it's
- 1:31:00so different to Islam, by the way.
- 1:31:01Yeah, we literally Christians, we are meant to love each other
- 1:31:04as Christ loves us. When I see you, I don't see a
- 1:31:07random that I just met today. Like we literally just met
- 1:31:09today. You are a sister in Christ.
- 1:31:11Literally you are a sister in Christ.
- 1:31:13I love you guys. I'm a brother.
- 1:31:14We we love you honestly. Like we've literally just.
- 1:31:16Met. And I feel the Spirit of God
- 1:31:19uniting us. So.
- 1:31:20Much obviously we have our differences and disagreements,
- 1:31:23but that doesn't mean we can't talk and and that doesn't mean
- 1:31:25we can't talk and and fight the demons of our culture that are
- 1:31:28so big, like abortion, like pride parades, like
- 1:31:31transgenderism, like hookup culture.
- 1:31:34We need to unite. We're fighting the wrong enemy.
- 1:31:36When I became Catholic, it wasn't because I was rejecting.
- 1:31:39What I had my my encounter with Jesus or the baptism I had had
- 1:31:43when I was a kid in my Bible based, you know, Protestant, you
- 1:31:46know, evangelical church. It was because it was getting a
- 1:31:49getting closer, right, even getting closer.
- 1:31:51And so I think we're all united in baptism and professing the
- 1:31:54name of Jesus and in the moral clarity that God may allow us to
- 1:31:59have things to God right. But then I think we should all
- 1:32:01together be on the journey of getting deeper and, and that
- 1:32:05unity is building the Kingdom and that unity will help.
- 1:32:09I also think the teaching clarity is going to be key
- 1:32:11because I think you, you're gifted with a teaching clarity,
- 1:32:13you know, on, on some of these things, which I think is a
- 1:32:15blessing to the people you are serving.
- 1:32:17It's bringing them freedom like you were describing beautifully
- 1:32:20earlier. And one of the reasons I became
- 1:32:22Catholic is the teaching authority of Rome for 2000
- 1:32:25years. They haven't wavered on things
- 1:32:27like abortion, homosexuality, all of these issues.
- 1:32:30There has been a true 4th and and it part of it is
- 1:32:33interpreting sacred scripture depending on the culture, the
- 1:32:36era, like people, people say, well, this interpretation means
- 1:32:38it's like, no, there is one interpretation that is true.
- 1:32:41You know, there's some personalizations that you can
- 1:32:43use, but like when it comes to moral issues, theological
- 1:32:45issues, there is one big T truth.
- 1:32:47It's not like my opinion, your opinion.
- 1:32:49We're all gonna have our have our own opinion.
- 1:32:50Yeah, My biggest can I, can I ask you a question?
- 1:32:53This could be my biggest. Like my biggest question, Robot,
- 1:32:56I love that we're going. Yeah, I know.
- 1:32:58I I was like, should we go here? I don't even know.
- 1:33:03You're already Christian. OK, but that's.
- 1:33:06The thing if you're. Baptized in the name of Father,
- 1:33:08Son, Holy Spirit with water. You're baptized.
- 1:33:10You are, you are baptized into the family of God.
- 1:33:12So we're brothers and sisters. So there's no like convert to
- 1:33:16like you can convert to. Catholicism.
- 1:33:18If you're like an atheist, you've never been baptized, but
- 1:33:20you're, if you were to become Catholic, that wouldn't be, oh,
- 1:33:22I'm converting now. In a sense you can maybe use it,
- 1:33:25but you're really just getting deeper into your Christian
- 1:33:28faith. In my view.
- 1:33:29That's what I would say. So look, I've met you're clearly
- 1:33:32Christians, right? Yeah.
- 1:33:33You're converted. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:33:35Yeah, I've look. I've met people from every
- 1:33:37denomination that are very. Godly and very godless.
- 1:33:40It's it's I've met. I agree there are.
- 1:33:42There are sodas, rocks and hell and.
- 1:33:45Catholics of. Course there are Catholics going
- 1:33:47to hell. And Catholics.
- 1:33:48Going to heaven is Protestant. Going to heaven and Protestant.
- 1:33:50Going to hell. Anglicans and when I meet
- 1:33:52people, I'm like, what, you know, do you believe about the
- 1:33:55blood of Jesus? It's not my you know, the blood,
- 1:33:57my bloodline. It's the.
- 1:33:57Blood of Christ. It's not the spirit of our
- 1:34:00ancestors. Our ancestors is the Spirit of
- 1:34:01God that unites us all. One God, one faith, one body.
- 1:34:05We're united. We are literally called the body
- 1:34:07of Christ. It's not this denomination being
- 1:34:09the hand and I got the toe cutting himself off.
- 1:34:11We are literally united and what unites us is Jesus Christ.
- 1:34:14So and that's why I love these conversations.
- 1:34:17We talk to people from every denomination and I was feeling
- 1:34:20prompted to go here in the college.
- 1:34:22I was like, I was like internal dialogue.
- 1:34:23Like, 'cause we're talking on our, you know, life and marriage
- 1:34:26and that's what I want conscious of.
- 1:34:27It was like, yeah, I was like, I felt like villers just like
- 1:34:30Eucharist. Yeah, like church, like, like,
- 1:34:32you know, the, the teaching authority, like, let's talk
- 1:34:35about it. So you were gonna say So I
- 1:34:36believe, like wrestling with ideas is how you end up with the
- 1:34:39truth. I I think a lot of Christians
- 1:34:42try to avoid asking questions and trying to get to we're
- 1:34:44afraid of a few truth. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:34:46And and like, it's by wrestling. Going back and.
- 1:34:49Forth the way I see it every idea I have, I try to poke as
- 1:34:53many holes as it in it as I can and if it still stands then then
- 1:34:57I believe it's true. And so I believe this is very
- 1:34:59important in wrestling. So my biggest roadblock has been
- 1:35:02what would be like the Catholic because I've never heard it from
- 1:35:04probably from the mouth of like a really devoted Catholic.
- 1:35:06What would be your response to what happens like when the OR
- 1:35:11the Pope has a belief about something that is clearly like
- 1:35:15antithetical to scripture? How does the like, what does the
- 1:35:18Catholic believe and respond to that?
- 1:35:20Like things like what we saw with Pope Francis, like last
- 1:35:23year. He he last year I think there
- 1:35:25was a few comments. Don't quote me on this spot
- 1:35:27about homosexuality. Maybe you can correct me if I'm
- 1:35:30wrong. Marriage was between a man and a
- 1:35:32woman. Then you Pope is a lot better.
- 1:35:34Yeah, I'll. I'll.
- 1:35:35So here's the thing. Pope Francis has not changed any
- 1:35:38of the. Catholic Church's teaching, what
- 1:35:40does that mean by change? So when he has said and so
- 1:35:43there. Have been some and I would.
- 1:35:45Want to know exactly the comment you're friends but I get a gas
- 1:35:47money and also in I think it was Singapore I.
- 1:35:49Heard a comment where he said there was a Sheikh, a Muslim, a
- 1:35:53Muslim Sheikh, A Hindu. And he says all pathways are yes
- 1:35:56lead to the same God. Very confusing for people.
- 1:35:58Yeah, it's very confusing because he said, he said we're
- 1:36:00all like. Different languages, different.
- 1:36:02Dialects, but we all landed the same God, he said.
- 1:36:04Some are Hindu. So I think the key with.
- 1:36:06First of all, it's very important to note when.
- 1:36:08It when we talk about the teaching authority of the
- 1:36:10Church, when there are certain statements made on faith and
- 1:36:14morals for all people in a certain format that's considered
- 1:36:17infallible. When Pope Francis is giving a
- 1:36:20speech or any Pope might be giving a speech to a group of he
- 1:36:23might mess up and some popes have messed up.
- 1:36:26So this is not so when we. So I would say it was imprecise
- 1:36:31like I. Don't I think.
- 1:36:32What he was trying to say, and you look at the full context of
- 1:36:34his remarks and you look at the context of his remarks
- 1:36:36throughout his papacy, he's definitely like Jesus is the way
- 1:36:39to the Father. Of course, you know he's not
- 1:36:42trying to change. You know what the Bible
- 1:36:45certainly says and the church has said for 2000 years about
- 1:36:47salvation. So he's not not, he didn't try
- 1:36:49to change that. He didn't change that.
- 1:36:50He couldn't change that even if he had wanted to In those
- 1:36:54statements. When you take that like clip,
- 1:36:56yeah, that sounds wrong. Like, because you know, like,
- 1:36:58well, you, you get through Jesus, you get to God through
- 1:37:00the Father, through the Son, and you know, you can't get to God
- 1:37:04through Islam or Buddhism. I think what he was getting at
- 1:37:08there imperfectly. And I think when you look at the
- 1:37:10rest of the things he said, this seems clear to me, very clear,
- 1:37:14is that there are elements of truth everywhere.
- 1:37:18And you can seek after God with a pure heart, even as a Muslim
- 1:37:21or a Buddhist, and God can meet you there.
- 1:37:24God does meet. We know these stories as long as
- 1:37:26people say Jesus, the way, the truth, and 100.
- 1:37:29Percent if you say that you are my brother and sister, 100.
- 1:37:32Percent. So I didn't know that so.
- 1:37:34So some things that like the Pope would.
- 1:37:36Say is not considered like, infallible.
- 1:37:39Not every word the Pope speaks is infallible.
- 1:37:41Yep, he's a human. Being that's good to you because
- 1:37:44you're right, because some people look him the like, kind
- 1:37:46of like you're I. Mean think about yourselves too.
- 1:37:47Like if you're giving a sermon, right you?
- 1:37:49May be like, I'm going to work really hard that this is this is
- 1:37:51right and correct what I'm saying.
- 1:37:52But you might be in an interview one day and you might say
- 1:37:55something that's not accurate or even on the birth control issue,
- 1:37:58you're like, well, I didn't know this about it.
- 1:37:59Whatever, right. Yeah.
- 1:38:00Similarly, Pope's bishops, they can get things wrong in terms
- 1:38:04of, you know, an offhand remark or something.
- 1:38:06But when they're when they're in there teaching authority from
- 1:38:08the seed of Peter and it's considered this is part of the
- 1:38:12Magisterium. So it's this could be encyclical
- 1:38:15that is considered a higher level of teaching that which is
- 1:38:18your should listen to infallible is even a higher level than that
- 1:38:22because you can have a level of the magisterium that is
- 1:38:24considered this is this is true, but it's like can we really 100%
- 1:38:29trust us and all Christians are bound to this.
- 1:38:31That's a super level and the Bible is a certainly cause.
- 1:38:33Like what if the magisterium at that level gets something
- 1:38:36that's. It's never happened in 2000
- 1:38:39years and that's where and that's where the.
- 1:38:41Promise of that's where the promise of Jesus to Saint Peter.
- 1:38:43We we rely on that promise. The gates of hell will not
- 1:38:45prevail against the church. The Church will storm hell and
- 1:38:48the church will the church will have many sinners.
- 1:38:51The church will have make mistakes in terms of our human,
- 1:38:54human humanity. But for 2000 years, the teaching
- 1:38:56of the church has not faltered. The moral teaching of the
- 1:38:59church, the Catholic Church has not faltered.
- 1:39:02And you look at length, you look at abortion, this is true.
- 1:39:04You look at sex and marriage, this is true.
- 1:39:05You look at sexuality, this is true.
- 1:39:07And that gave me tremendous confidence when I became
- 1:39:09Catholic. I'm like, this is with all of
- 1:39:11our imperfections. Well, as long as as long as
- 1:39:14Catholics tell me if. If the Pope goes against the
- 1:39:17word of God, I pick the word of God.
- 1:39:20That's it. If Catholics, if Catholics
- 1:39:22understand the from the seat of Peter, the Pope cannot go
- 1:39:24against. Okay, whatever.
- 1:39:26Like the interpretation is, but it's kind of like saying can.
- 1:39:28God create a rock so big he can't lift, No.
- 1:39:31Whatever, whatever the technicality is, but as long as
- 1:39:33as long as. If I ask a Catholic is Jesus the
- 1:39:36way, the truth and life and they say yes, done.
- 1:39:38Is marriage between a man and a woman?
- 1:39:40Yes, done. Can a man and man get married?
- 1:39:42No, they can't. If someone agrees with that, I'm
- 1:39:44good. I'm I'm very easy.
- 1:39:46I'm not here to say, you know I'm the one exactly.
- 1:39:51That's why I love these. Conversations and a lot.
- 1:39:54Of the stuff. As you said.
- 1:39:54What I say is wrong. Like I might, I might.
- 1:39:57Make a mistake, I might say an accident, but I will come back
- 1:39:59and correct myself and I believe which is very important that I
- 1:40:02come back and. If I lead, If I lead.
- 1:40:05People astray, which I'm not talking about what happened last
- 1:40:08year or whatever, but if I do, I will make sure I come back
- 1:40:11anybody and correct myself because there are literally
- 1:40:13millions of people listening for me.
- 1:40:15It's not billions of people, obviously maybe I think we reach
- 1:40:18like 10 million people every 30 days.
- 1:40:20Yeah, 10 million people are listening to our sermons every
- 1:40:22single 30 days and I want to make sure that every word is
- 1:40:25accurate. Yeah, but this is Yeah, I'm, I'm
- 1:40:27glad you went there. Yeah, I'm, I'm, I'm glad for
- 1:40:32letting. Me know check out the yeah yeah
- 1:40:33I wanted to hear from you food for us right like.
- 1:40:36Jesus is, he wants to. Be He is our.
- 1:40:37Everything. And he gives us the food for
- 1:40:39everything that we do. He gives us the, the guidance.
- 1:40:42He gives us the graces. It gives us the teaching.
- 1:40:44And that's the thing. We're not meant to do this
- 1:40:45alone. Like the, the, the, the
- 1:40:48adventure, certainly the mission that you're on.
- 1:40:50Yeah. You're meant to have all the
- 1:40:51support. Yeah.
- 1:40:53And, and the Lord wants that for you.
- 1:40:54So, yeah, yeah, yeah. No, that's good.
- 1:40:56I'm glad you brought it up. We'll keep talking about it, but
- 1:40:58I appreciate it. That's maybe I'm going to do.
- 1:41:01From Islam to Catholic well GK chestern.
- 1:41:04'S a great guy. Because you mentioned him.
- 1:41:05But he so. He actually was part of my
- 1:41:09journey into the church because he was Catholic and he's so deep
- 1:41:12and rich and understand, understood like the fullness of
- 1:41:15the picture. And so whenever I had a question
- 1:41:18like, well, what about papal authority?
- 1:41:20You know, what about Mary? What about these doctrines?
- 1:41:22I would just start to do more of the research and be like, OK,
- 1:41:24this it's like you said, you kind of like test, test, test
- 1:41:26it. So I think I'm curious if you do
- 1:41:29go down the route and you start to test things, let me know.
- 1:41:32You'll be the first one. I want to know what you think.
- 1:41:34I because I respect I. Respect you guys.
- 1:41:37As people that clearly are listening for God, Yeah.
- 1:41:39And I think that's very beautiful.
- 1:41:41So we're here to search for truth.
- 1:41:42That's all our heart. Truth, Truth, truth.
- 1:41:44Amen. All right, you guys are awesome.
- 1:41:46Thank God bless you. Thank.
