- 2:07Speaker 7: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:11Speaker 7: radio show. Okay, here we go. I was working out.
- 2:18Speaker 7: I was talking to a buddy of mine, and I
- 2:21Speaker 7: was telling him something that Bishop td Jakes told me
- 2:24Speaker 7: one time. I heard him say it. He said, I
- 2:30Speaker 7: would hate to die and not do the thing that
- 2:35Speaker 7: I was born to do. I would hate to die
- 2:40Speaker 7: and not do the theme that I was born to do. Man,
- 2:47Speaker 7: oh man, oh man, man. That hit me like a
- 2:50Speaker 7: like a like a pile of bricks man, because it
- 2:54Speaker 7: made me feel so grateful that God has allowed me.
- 3:01Speaker 6: To live my life this way.
- 3:04Speaker 8: Now.
- 3:05Speaker 7: And I'm talking about grateful for all of it, the good,
- 3:09Speaker 7: the bad, and the ugly, and I have had all
- 3:13Speaker 7: of them. The person you see today It ain't always
- 3:18Speaker 7: who I was. It was on the inside of me,
- 3:21Speaker 7: but it hadn't externalized itself, if that's a word. It
- 3:25Speaker 7: hadn't been bought out. It was in here, but it
- 3:29Speaker 7: was under development.
- 3:31Speaker 6: Who I am.
- 3:32Speaker 7: Today was a process. But like I said before, don't trip.
- 3:39Speaker 7: He ain't through with me yet. Even today, I'm still
- 3:44Speaker 7: an imperfect soldier for Christ.
- 3:47Speaker 6: Today.
- 3:49Speaker 7: I still fall short oftentimes, but I'll tell you what,
- 3:54Speaker 7: I'm ever grateful for the life I have. And you
- 3:58Speaker 7: know what, I want to encourage everybody today to explore
- 4:04Speaker 7: your possibilities. I mean, man, explore your possibilities. Why would
- 4:13Speaker 7: you not want to find out, discover, or know what
- 4:21Speaker 7: it is God got for you? Why would you not
- 4:25Speaker 7: want to achieve or accomplish all of your possibilities? Now,
- 4:31Speaker 7: as I ask you this question, I want you to
- 4:33Speaker 7: know that the devil is busy, that he plays mind tricks.
- 4:37Speaker 7: So as you hear this, I already know he's saying
- 4:40Speaker 7: to some of y'all, Yeah, Steve, that's easy for you
- 4:43Speaker 7: to say, but I didne got myself in this situation
- 4:46Speaker 7: right here. You ain't nothing too hard for God, nothing nothing.
- 4:54Speaker 7: And see, so as you listen to me, try to
- 4:58Speaker 7: get your mind open to this. Why would you not
- 5:01Speaker 7: want to explore all of your life's possibilities, what's possible
- 5:07Speaker 7: with your life? And I'm talking about from right where
- 5:10Speaker 7: you are right now. I'm not asking you to change,
- 5:14Speaker 7: I'm not asking you to do anything. I'm telling you
- 5:17Speaker 7: this is a fact that God can get you from
- 5:21Speaker 7: right where you are right now. Broken, misled, misguided, misunderstood, mistaken,
- 5:35Speaker 7: all of that, misfortunate, all of the missus you've been
- 5:40Speaker 7: talking about in your life.
- 5:42Speaker 6: You know you.
- 5:42Speaker 7: I missed the lottery, I missed my ride. They fired me.
- 5:47Speaker 7: I missed the deadline. I didn't get it. Miss people.
- 5:51Speaker 7: People just miss theay self to death. If you've been
- 5:55Speaker 7: all in missus, God can get you from right where
- 5:58Speaker 7: you are. God a home run hitter. I'm here to
- 6:02Speaker 7: tell you that he's a home run hitter. He's a
- 6:05Speaker 7: put him over the wall whenever he want to, all
- 6:07Speaker 7: the time. And you can be a recipient of some
- 6:10Speaker 7: of these home runs. He'll put the bat in your hand.
- 6:12Speaker 7: But you got to swing. Now, listen to me. You've
- 6:16Speaker 7: got to stop feeling sorry for yourself. You got to
- 6:19Speaker 7: stop holding yourself down with beating yourself up he won't
- 6:23Speaker 7: hold you down about it if you don't hold yourself
- 6:25Speaker 7: down about it. But I'm gonna tell you one more time.
- 6:28Speaker 7: The devil is busy. So what the devil do is
- 6:30Speaker 7: He make you think you ain't worthy. He make you
- 6:33Speaker 7: think that you've done something so despicable that you can't
- 6:36Speaker 7: come back from it. He makes you feel like you
- 6:39Speaker 7: so low you can't go up high. He knock you
- 6:41Speaker 7: down and make you feel like you've been knocked down
- 6:43Speaker 7: hard than anybody else. You can't get up. He rolled
- 6:46Speaker 7: you so deep down in that ditch you can't see
- 6:48Speaker 7: over the edge. God can come get you from no
- 6:52Speaker 7: matter where you are. I'm telling you, man, you ain't
- 6:56Speaker 7: in no hold too deep for God. Magic Johnson to
- 7:00Speaker 7: tell you that. Listen to me, you ain't in no
- 7:02Speaker 7: hole too deep for God. Steve Harvey can tell you
- 7:05Speaker 7: that you ain't in a hole too deep for God.
- 7:09Speaker 7: Tyler Perry can tell you that I can name you
- 7:12Speaker 7: some people. Bishop Jake can tell you that. I could
- 7:14Speaker 7: tell you. Kenneth Olmah can tell you that. Bishop Kenneth
- 7:17Speaker 7: Omar I could tell you some people. Kirk Franklin can
- 7:19Speaker 7: tell you that. Donny mcclerklin can tell you that. I
- 7:22Speaker 7: just know some people personally man that then been in
- 7:25Speaker 7: a hole. Joel Oldstein can tell you about it. I
- 7:29Speaker 7: know some people man been down, been in a hole
- 7:32Speaker 7: so deep.
- 7:33Speaker 6: I bet you. Paula Dean can tell you about it. See.
- 7:38Speaker 6: But but you know what, then here we go see
- 7:40Speaker 6: see see you know, see we don't like.
- 7:44Speaker 7: To talk about that because now we want everybody to
- 7:46Speaker 7: pay extra hard for some mistakes they made when clearly
- 7:50Speaker 7: an excuse me for being a new Christian. But there
- 7:53Speaker 7: is a prayer that I've been saying since I was
- 7:55Speaker 7: a little bitty boy, and it took me till I
- 7:57Speaker 7: was a grown man to understand it. Forgive us our
- 7:59Speaker 7: true us passes, as we forgive those who trust passed
- 8:03Speaker 7: against us. So see, it ain't my job to hold
- 8:06Speaker 7: nobody down, to keep my knee on somebody's neck.
- 8:09Speaker 6: Who am I. I'm gonna need some forgiveness in a
- 8:12Speaker 6: second here, probably today.
- 8:15Speaker 7: See So all this you holding people down with the
- 8:18Speaker 7: way you feel in bout them, And she shouldn't have
- 8:20Speaker 7: said this, and she'll never get it.
- 8:22Speaker 6: I'll never support this again.
- 8:24Speaker 7: Man, Get up, get up and get real, you for
- 8:26Speaker 7: real you think you ain't finn need forgiveness real soon,
- 8:29Speaker 7: you ain't finna.
- 8:30Speaker 6: Make a diabolical mistake in your life. You don't think
- 8:33Speaker 6: you are.
- 8:33Speaker 7: I have thousands of them, probably gonna make a few
- 8:36Speaker 7: hundred more for I get up out of here. So
- 8:40Speaker 7: I've decided to be in a forgiving business because I
- 8:44Speaker 7: want God to forgive. My trust passes as I forgive
- 8:47Speaker 7: those who trustpass against me.
- 8:49Speaker 6: You understand. See excuse me for being a new Christian.
- 8:53Speaker 7: I get I get tired of talking at to people
- 8:57Speaker 7: man supposed to be saved and talking about dear Christians.
- 9:00Speaker 6: I want that type of religion. Man, I ain't in
- 9:01Speaker 6: that no more. I ain't in that. You can call
- 9:03Speaker 6: me wrong if you want to say it how you
- 9:05Speaker 6: want to say. I ain't in that no more. I
- 9:06Speaker 6: ain't in all that.
- 9:07Speaker 7: You can feel how you want to feel about me.
- 9:09Speaker 7: But I got proof that God work in my life.
- 9:12Speaker 7: You know, I can't hardly get it out sometime when
- 9:14Speaker 7: people ask me something about depot on the inside of me,
- 9:17Speaker 7: about my soul and how I used to be, and
- 9:19Speaker 7: my journey and my trip. Because people don't know the
- 9:21Speaker 7: trip I've been on. You may have been on one
- 9:23Speaker 7: worse than me. But you know what, you ain't in
- 9:26Speaker 7: a whole too deep. God can't get you out of
- 9:28Speaker 7: and I wish I want people to remember that. Man,
- 9:31Speaker 7: God is a redeemer. He the great I am. So
- 9:35Speaker 7: if you ain't got nothing, now what you asking for?
- 9:39Speaker 7: You know you might not have nothing because you ain't
- 9:41Speaker 7: asking for nothing. Quit asking God to get you out
- 9:43Speaker 7: of debt and ask God for a life of abundance.
- 9:46Speaker 7: Then you take the money and you get out of debt.
- 9:48Speaker 7: You keep asking to get out of debt. You keep
- 9:50Speaker 7: being in debt to get out of Come on, man,
- 9:52Speaker 7: what you asking God for? I'm just tripping today, That's all.
- 9:56Speaker 7: I'm sorry.

- 14:04Speaker 5: Hello?
- 14:05Speaker 8: Hello? Who is this?
- 14:06Speaker 5: Miss Glen?
- 14:07Speaker 8: Is this this busy? I'm college? Is missus Purvis there?
- 14:12Speaker 8: You know she's here right now?
- 14:13Speaker 5: But this is your daughter? Is there a problem?
- 14:16Speaker 8: Uh? No? This this this besie? This Mama, Mama, lord's nephew.
- 14:21Speaker 8: Who is this again?
- 14:22Speaker 5: This blanda.
- 14:25Speaker 8: Mamalloyd is Mamalloyd jo ain't it? Ain't it correct?
- 14:28Speaker 5: Mama Lords and its herbas sisters.
- 14:30Speaker 8: Okay, I'm benjy, I'm I'm gonna nephew from the other
- 14:33Speaker 8: side of the family. You say your name wasn't now Blenda? Okay?
- 14:37Speaker 8: What time y'all supposed to get in?
- 14:38Speaker 5: We should be there by the afternoon?
- 14:40Speaker 8: Okay? Uh is Miss Purvis? Is she is your mama
- 14:44Speaker 8: making the dressing? Yeah?
- 14:46Speaker 5: She's making enough for about forty five people. We actually
- 14:50Speaker 5: this was discussed about.
- 14:51Speaker 8: A month ago, right y' on the y'all they had
- 14:54Speaker 8: the compass call, the conference the family had the conference call,
- 14:57Speaker 8: right yes, sir? Okay, now listen, what the reason why
- 15:02Speaker 8: they got me to call? They wanted me to go
- 15:04Speaker 8: in and call and and I was trying to get
- 15:06Speaker 8: Miss Purvis. She's not there.
- 15:08Speaker 5: No, she's not here. What's wrong?
- 15:10Speaker 8: Oh? Okay, they're not gonna They're not gonna need her
- 15:13Speaker 8: to do the to do the dressing.
- 15:15Speaker 5: And why wouldn't they need her to do this? She's
- 15:17Speaker 5: been making it for ten years?
- 15:19Speaker 8: We did, we just discussed this. So what do you
- 15:21Speaker 8: mean they say that they got somebody down here that's
- 15:23Speaker 8: gonna do the dressing, especially since y'all traveling, y'all ain't
- 15:26Speaker 8: got to bring it, you know, and be traveling with it.
- 15:28Speaker 8: But they got somebody gonna do the dressing.
- 15:30Speaker 5: Okay, Well, first of all, who are you? You're you're Benjie?
- 15:34Speaker 5: What is your name?
- 15:35Speaker 8: That was not my name, Benjamin, but they called me Benjie.
- 15:37Speaker 8: But but but, like I say, uh, I'm on the
- 15:41Speaker 8: other side of the fact, I ain't on y'all side.
- 15:43Speaker 5: Okay, Well, I'm still trying to figure out why were
- 15:45Speaker 5: you calling me? Because she's been making the dressing for
- 15:48Speaker 5: ten years, like I said, and I mean it's been discussed,
- 15:51Speaker 5: so I don't even know why why you're calling me.
- 15:53Speaker 5: I don't even know you.
- 15:55Speaker 8: Okay, Well, what I'm trying to explain to you just
- 15:57Speaker 8: right here is Daddy they got so y'all ain't got
- 15:59Speaker 8: to work with bringing the dressing. They got somebody gonna
- 16:02Speaker 8: bring They got somebody down here that's gonna cook it.
- 16:05Speaker 8: So in other word, what you know, if you can
- 16:07Speaker 8: tell Miss prairivis she ain't got to worry about the
- 16:09Speaker 8: dressing this year.
- 16:10Speaker 5: Oh so you want me to tell my mama after
- 16:12Speaker 5: she's been making dressing for ten years. That child say,
- 16:16Speaker 5: y'all ain't worried about she shouldn't have to make this
- 16:17Speaker 5: year because we're driving now. We drive every year, So
- 16:21Speaker 5: I'm not gonna do that to her. So, I mean,
- 16:23Speaker 5: I don't. I don't even know who you are to
- 16:25Speaker 5: be calling me anyway. Why can't somebody call me that
- 16:27Speaker 5: I know regarding it?
- 16:29Speaker 8: Okay? Okay, you gunner right.
- 16:31Speaker 5: I am blended?
- 16:32Speaker 8: All right? Listen, let me say this because I don't
- 16:34Speaker 8: mind saying what everybody thinking, what most people don't want
- 16:38Speaker 8: to say. Let me just say this right here. Really,
- 16:40Speaker 8: what's going on is just right here. A lot of
- 16:43Speaker 8: people in the family you know, don't really don't don't
- 16:49Speaker 8: really like miss Prairivige dressing.
- 16:54Speaker 5: Benjamin, who are you supposed to be? Let me sprain
- 16:57Speaker 5: something here, Ma mama gonna make it dressing. You gonna
- 17:01Speaker 5: keep that, and we ain't bringing that on with us,
- 17:04Speaker 5: so you can tell your family and that is saying that.
- 17:07Speaker 5: Do you understand me?
- 17:08Speaker 8: I mean, but first of all, you got to understand it.
- 17:11Speaker 8: I'm bringing news that that people don't them voted on,
- 17:14Speaker 8: and it's what everybody want to do. Don't nobody.
- 17:16Speaker 5: Why didn't Nick house we had a meeting them on dressing.
- 17:20Speaker 5: She's been making it ten years, ain't nobody been saying nothing?
- 17:23Speaker 5: And guess what one of them up in that house.
- 17:25Speaker 5: Nobody better not be walking up and through that talking
- 17:27Speaker 5: about my mama either, And you go keep it.
- 17:30Speaker 8: Okay, we see right there? Why why if people don't
- 17:33Speaker 8: like the dressing, Glinda, why you want to make submit
- 17:36Speaker 8: everybody to have it to eat it? If they don't
- 17:38Speaker 8: like it, you don't eat.
- 17:39Speaker 5: That's how I know I know you well, I don't
- 17:42Speaker 5: know no Benjamin Benjie who.
- 17:45Speaker 8: I'm mama Lord's nephew from the other side of the family. Exactly,
- 17:49Speaker 8: I don't know you, okay, And it really really to
- 17:52Speaker 8: the bad all that I don't really know you. But
- 17:55Speaker 8: I'm but I'm but I'm maning up. I'm maning up
- 17:57Speaker 8: a call you and tell you what we're gonna do
- 17:59Speaker 8: it where we You know, I ain't gonna do.
- 18:01Speaker 5: I know what I say, and I want to pay
- 18:04Speaker 5: it again. She's gonna be saying dress six. You gonna
- 18:07Speaker 5: eat it if we go all nine day?
- 18:09Speaker 8: Okay, Okay, right there, listen, And I know this might
- 18:13Speaker 8: be hard for you. To understand what you grew up
- 18:15Speaker 8: with liking everybody else might not.
- 18:18Speaker 5: Like people saying what you want to. I ain't gonna
- 18:20Speaker 5: even remember you be in my way, so you ain't
- 18:23Speaker 5: not like it because you ain't done around. But she
- 18:25Speaker 5: making dress now.
- 18:27Speaker 8: First of all, when y'all get down here, it's gonna
- 18:29Speaker 8: already be some more dress in here, okay, okay, and
- 18:32Speaker 8: she gonna make.
- 18:33Speaker 5: Country sence and we gonna see down I gonna eat.
- 18:37Speaker 5: It's not even to be discussing my present in that
- 18:39Speaker 5: I said. I got to say, because you're not gonna
- 18:41Speaker 5: hurt my mama feeling.
- 18:42Speaker 8: Okay, that ain't nobody to trying. That's why I'm trying
- 18:45Speaker 8: to tell you to tell her don't make it now,
- 18:47Speaker 8: so she don't even bring it down.
- 18:49Speaker 5: What are they gonna get there anyway?
- 18:51Speaker 8: Hey, look, I'm finna say this here because every dinner
- 18:54Speaker 8: you ain't really understanding what I'm saying to you. I'm
- 18:56Speaker 8: gonna say it as clear as I can say. If
- 18:58Speaker 8: y'all come down here with that dress, I promise you
- 19:01Speaker 8: we already got dressing made. We're throwing that dressing in
- 19:04Speaker 8: the trash so everybody can get the dressing that we
- 19:07Speaker 8: made fun of pot Blake. That's what we're doing.

- 21:11Speaker 11: we go, Cloe.
- 21:12Speaker 1: This is from Malcolm and Tampa, Florida.
- 21:14Speaker 11: He says, I've been in a committed relationship for six
- 21:17Speaker 11: years and I work out with my woman. When we're
- 21:20Speaker 11: at the gym, we often comment on other people's nice bodies.
- 21:24Speaker 11: On Saturday, a new guy was in our gym, and
- 21:28Speaker 11: on the way home, I told my girl that the
- 21:30Speaker 11: new guy was really cut up.
- 21:32Speaker 1: She commented, no, he was fine as f.
- 21:41Speaker 11: I was like, okay, So Malcolm says, I was like,
- 21:44Speaker 11: hold on, now, wait a darn minute.
- 21:47Speaker 7: Uh.
- 21:48Speaker 11: I've been with her for six years and she's always
- 21:50Speaker 11: told me I have a great body, but she's never
- 21:53Speaker 11: said I was fine as f Uh. Now I'm all
- 21:56Speaker 11: in my feelings and I don't want this guy around
- 21:58Speaker 11: my girl anymore.
- 22:00Speaker 1: I need your advice.
- 22:02Speaker 6: Okay, hold on, hold on. What's his name?
- 22:06Speaker 7: His name is Malcolm Steve Well, Malcolm the Middle Malcolm.
- 22:10Speaker 7: Let's let's look at this. You said he was fine.
- 22:15Speaker 7: She stopped you and said, no, he was fine as
- 22:21Speaker 7: f Throw you into something where now you don't you
- 22:28Speaker 7: all in your feelings? Now you don't want him around
- 22:30Speaker 7: your girl? He the new guy at the gym. He
- 22:33Speaker 7: ain't around your girl. But now let's be careful, Malcolm,
- 22:37Speaker 7: because if you don't want him around your girl, then
- 22:39Speaker 7: you must be gonna ask him not to come to
- 22:41Speaker 7: gym no more.
- 22:42Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 22:42Speaker 7: Now, based on the reaction that she had to his body,
- 22:46Speaker 7: sounded like I asked him just waiting to happen to me.
- 22:49Speaker 11: But obviously she was comfortable saying that. He said, they
- 22:52Speaker 11: come in to other people's bodies all the time.
- 22:55Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 22:55Speaker 7: But and she has told him he's always had a
- 22:58Speaker 7: great body. But he's never said it was fine, cause
- 23:01Speaker 7: it ain't. See you find asf That's why you were
- 23:05Speaker 7: in the gym, because you're trying to get the way
- 23:07Speaker 7: he at here. He transferred from another gym. See he's
- 23:13Speaker 7: been at another gym.
- 23:14Speaker 6: He just came in here he knew.
- 23:17Speaker 7: Maybe you want to find out what gym he was
- 23:20Speaker 7: at and go join that one. Give his old training,
- 23:24Speaker 7: all right, Bria.
- 23:25Speaker 11: And Gary says, I'm a twenty eight year old woman
- 23:28Speaker 11: and I'm engaged to a twenty nine year old man.
- 23:30Speaker 1: That must think I'm stupid.
- 23:32Speaker 11: A few weeks ago, he returned to work at a
- 23:34Speaker 11: nearby factory, and he told me he had to be
- 23:37Speaker 11: quarantined there because of COVID nineteen. He went to work
- 23:42Speaker 11: on a Sunday and didn't come home till Thursday. During
- 23:45Speaker 11: that time, he could only text. Truthfully, the cell phone
- 23:49Speaker 11: service in the building is crappy, so I could believe
- 23:52Speaker 11: that part. What I can't believe is that all these
- 23:56Speaker 11: men slept on pallettes on the floor for five nights.
- 23:59Speaker 11: I don't know anyone who works with him that can
- 24:02Speaker 11: validate this story. If I call his job, I'm sure
- 24:06Speaker 11: he'd find out and be mad.
- 24:07Speaker 1: Does this sound crazy to you?
- 24:10Speaker 7: Now?
- 24:11Speaker 6: It's a cold story, though, I like a good shit
- 24:14Speaker 6: just away.
- 24:14Speaker 7: A lot of a lot of men have to go
- 24:17Speaker 7: away for five days and only texts.
- 24:21Speaker 6: That's right.
- 24:21Speaker 7: Don't sound like I'm you know, hey, you know what
- 24:24Speaker 7: our brothers you adn't do that all the time, you know,
- 24:28Speaker 7: go to their job and keep you.
- 24:32Speaker 8: Know what I mean?
- 24:32Speaker 7: You went down there Saturday and can't lead to Thursday.
- 24:36Speaker 7: I mean you know that's like that happened all the time.
- 24:39Speaker 7: You know, like you know how many people down there
- 24:41Speaker 7: at that McDonald's. Like if you go down there on
- 24:43Speaker 7: Thursday Sunday, you can't come back home to Thursday.
- 24:46Speaker 6: You're not sleeping all on the floors and everything. You know,
- 24:49Speaker 6: it's hard, it's up on pallettes, palettes.
- 24:54Speaker 1: Yeah, tell her the truth, Steve, How that sound?

- 25:33Speaker 7: Gary got some good people in it, though, Man home
- 25:35Speaker 7: of Big Daddy's barbecue.
- 25:38Speaker 6: Yeah, shout out to Big Daddy. You know what I'm saying.
- 25:41Speaker 6: Other than that, though, you can go out there and
- 25:43Speaker 6: see Michael niam House.
- 25:47Speaker 10: Michael House, or he worked for Big Daddy.
- 25:52Speaker 1: All right, we don't know that.
- 25:54Speaker 6: No factory he worked.

- 26:13Speaker 11: His brother's house, but this year his sister asked us
- 26:16Speaker 11: to stay with her. I love his sister, but I
- 26:20Speaker 11: hate her house. She has an old mutt that is
- 26:24Speaker 11: the love of her life. As soon as you walk
- 26:27Speaker 11: in her house, a strong urine and lifesolt smell hits you.
- 26:32Speaker 11: We'll be in town for four days and I can't
- 26:34Speaker 11: stay at her house. My husband said he's not.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Telling her, so I don't have to tell her what
- 26:38Speaker 1: should I say?
- 26:40Speaker 7: You can't say nothing that, just say you forgot and
- 26:44Speaker 7: go over there and stay at his brother house, because
- 26:46Speaker 7: once you live in a house, you don't smell it.
- 26:48Speaker 1: No, that's right.
- 26:49Speaker 7: And you all got somebody's house that you go over
- 26:52Speaker 7: that's got a strange oldor but they'll be sitting up

- 27:20Speaker 7: And I was standing there next to the little girl like, yeah, Nildy,
- 27:26Speaker 7: I was with a little girl.
- 27:31Speaker 6: It is a dog in there. You do know what's

- 43:27Speaker 1: phone call. It's called promotion.
- 43:29Speaker 6: I'm ugly to you, yes, when I'm talking to Shirt.
- 43:34Speaker 1: No, Tommy, No, you're not ugly.
- 43:36Speaker 10: But she didn't say he didn't look strange.

- 43:41Speaker 1: He's not, Tommy, No, he's not. He's not what He's
- 43:45Speaker 1: not strange looking range, He's a normal looking, handsome young man.
- 43:52Speaker 6: Tommy ain't handsome telling this boy that we don't have
- 43:57Speaker 6: handsome man in our family.
- 44:00Speaker 1: To me, thinks he is.
- 44:02Speaker 5: Okay.
- 44:03Speaker 1: I don't want to shatter that, Tommy.
- 44:05Speaker 2: Think he Paul, Tommy, thank you, Tommy. Think but he
- 44:16Speaker 2: got it there and now you think you kill me?
- 44:20Speaker 6: No, and if he accepted, he can have fun with it.
- 44:24Speaker 1: But see, you're just trying to hurt his feelings, right,
- 44:28Speaker 1: Shirley hurt him.
- 44:33Speaker 6: Hey, before I played, I'm going to play for you,
- 44:36Speaker 6: and you played the strange.
- 44:40Speaker 1: My branks are nice, drange.
- 44:43Speaker 7: Listen the name of the title it is is you
- 44:45Speaker 7: got to bring those TVs back?
- 44:48Speaker 9: Hello?
- 44:49Speaker 8: Hello, how are you? I'm trying to reach a sharing please.
- 44:53Speaker 8: My name is Paul, Paul, I'm head of security here.
- 44:57Speaker 8: How are you? This is Yeah, you actually came out
- 45:02Speaker 8: and you I think you were here on Friday and
- 45:06Speaker 8: you came out and purchased four flat screen televisions forty
- 45:09Speaker 8: forty two inches, am. I correct, yeah, but what's you
- 45:13Speaker 8: kind of be fun. What I was giving you a
- 45:15Speaker 8: call for sharing is that we got a bit of
- 45:17Speaker 8: a problem now when you purchase these actual flat screen
- 45:21Speaker 8: televisions on Black Friday, so to speak, it seems that
- 45:25Speaker 8: we've got them. Well, your purchase went through successfully, I
- 45:30Speaker 8: will admit that, but there should have been a red
- 45:32Speaker 8: flag that have gone up because we're going back over
- 45:36Speaker 8: transactions of the past two three days here and we're
- 45:39Speaker 8: realizing that your purchase should not have been successful. It
- 45:43Speaker 8: should have been void. Your credit card is actually not
- 45:46Speaker 8: valid at all now, my credit.
- 45:48Speaker 12: Card because we got paid on Wednesday, so my money
- 45:51Speaker 12: was there.
- 45:52Speaker 8: Well actually, ma'am, what I'm what I'm trying to explain
- 45:55Speaker 8: to you is that it is coming up in valid
- 45:58Speaker 8: now and we're having a problem with it. So I
- 46:01Speaker 8: wanted to reach out to you and give you a
- 46:03Speaker 8: call and see if we could probably you know, uh,
- 46:06Speaker 8: it was.
- 46:07Speaker 12: It was valid when I was at the rateist because
- 46:09Speaker 12: it went through. I got a receipt and everything I
- 46:11Speaker 12: purchased that extenda warranty on all for them, so it
- 46:14Speaker 12: was valid on Friday. I don't know what's wrong with
- 46:16Speaker 12: it today, but it.
- 46:17Speaker 8: Was good then, and I understand that. I understand that that,
- 46:21Speaker 8: you know, just being at the register and you purchasing
- 46:23Speaker 8: in and no problems, not all happening. That's pretty much
- 46:26Speaker 8: a thought process that you're gonna have. What I'm letting
- 46:28Speaker 8: you know is on the on the back part of
- 46:30Speaker 8: it when you came into the store. What we're getting
- 46:33Speaker 8: the day the day after is that it was pretty
- 46:36Speaker 8: much invalid. It wasn't good at all. Your credit card
- 46:39Speaker 8: was not good at all.
- 46:40Speaker 12: But you need to call your bank then, because I
- 46:43Speaker 12: don't know what to tell you. You know, I had
- 46:46Speaker 12: the money in there or the day I went and
- 46:47Speaker 12: bought them, and that's it for me. So I don't
- 46:50Speaker 12: know who you need to call. But don't call me
- 46:52Speaker 12: because you know that ain't.
- 46:53Speaker 5: Been in my problem.
- 46:54Speaker 8: Okay, you know what, I'm not gonna I'm not gonna
- 46:56Speaker 8: raise this to be a major problem. We're gonna try
- 46:59Speaker 8: to rectify it and get it taking care of y'all.
- 47:01Speaker 12: Do what you need to do.
- 47:02Speaker 8: Okay, listen, now, uh here's what we're gonna do. You know,
- 47:05Speaker 8: I wanted to try to work this out as smooth
- 47:07Speaker 8: as we can. What I'm gonna have to ask you
- 47:09Speaker 8: to do. Could I get you to come back up
- 47:12Speaker 8: to the store and bring all four televisions with you?
- 47:15Speaker 12: No, now, you sure can't.
- 47:18Speaker 8: Baby.
- 47:18Speaker 12: Look, I bought them for TVs. I have wrapped one
- 47:21Speaker 12: of them up this under the tree for my husband.
- 47:23Speaker 12: My mama early, she already got the other TV. We
- 47:26Speaker 12: hunt that up for home Saturday when we was watching movies.
- 47:29Speaker 12: So it really ain't no way we're gonna bring the
- 47:31Speaker 12: four TV's back. I think you should go back to
- 47:33Speaker 12: whatever process your credit cards and tell them that they that.
- 47:37Speaker 12: I don't know what you're gonna tell them, but you
- 47:39Speaker 12: need to go back to them. I ain't got time
- 47:41Speaker 12: to be running back and.
- 47:41Speaker 5: Forth to that store.
- 47:42Speaker 8: I don't want to. I don't want us to create
- 47:44Speaker 8: a problem here. I don't want to do that.
- 47:47Speaker 12: You need to lord y'all voys. Okay, but no, you
- 47:51Speaker 12: need to go back to whoever do your credit cards
- 47:53Speaker 12: because they went through when I was at the Stoke. Correct.
- 47:56Speaker 8: I don't want to.
- 47:57Speaker 12: I ain't that's a no.
- 47:59Speaker 8: I told you that it went through.
- 48:00Speaker 12: I explained, James, you ain't got no business on my
- 48:03Speaker 12: damn phone, and don't call me with this bull.
- 48:05Speaker 8: No.
- 48:05Speaker 5: More.
- 48:05Speaker 8: Hold on what I don't want to have to do.
- 48:08Speaker 8: I don't want to have to come out to your
- 48:10Speaker 8: home and confensate.
- 48:13Speaker 12: I wish you would come out to my house. Maybe
- 48:15Speaker 12: we will beat you into bad health.
- 48:17Speaker 8: You better not bring your over here.
- 48:19Speaker 12: Look, you need to call who up? Do your credit cards?
- 48:22Speaker 12: Get your straight with them, because your business with.
- 48:24Speaker 9: Me is done.
- 48:25Speaker 12: I got a receipt and I got any skin the watch.
- 48:27Speaker 12: I will have my lord. You try y'all, you bring
- 48:30Speaker 12: your over here and they back.
- 48:32Speaker 8: Listen, Lady, I don't want to go back and forth
- 48:33Speaker 8: with you on this.
- 48:34Speaker 12: And that you ain't going back and forth.
- 48:36Speaker 5: It's over with.
- 48:37Speaker 12: I got the TV, I got a receipt.
- 48:40Speaker 5: We it is done.
- 48:41Speaker 12: I don't know what's wrong with your machine called within suit.
- 48:44Speaker 8: I'm trying to get her to understand, nstand what I'm saying.
- 48:48Speaker 8: You can hang on one second and let me speak
- 48:52Speaker 8: with my boss. Please on the phone.
- 48:55Speaker 12: I tell your boss, y'all, don't run me back. I
- 48:57Speaker 12: got a receipt for four TV and I'm gonna keep
- 49:00Speaker 12: all TVs.
- 49:01Speaker 8: Listen, you know this is pretty much considered a theft process.

- 52:31Speaker 7: for you here. It is very letter, thanking.
- 52:34Speaker 11: A few subjects. I have the drummer, but I want
- 52:37Speaker 11: the pastor. Dear Stephen Shirley. About a year ago, I
- 52:40Speaker 11: left my home church to join another church. I was
- 52:44Speaker 11: dating the church's drummer and he invited me to join.
- 52:47Speaker 11: I fell in love with the atmosphere of the church,
- 52:50Speaker 11: and the senior pastor was really good. When I joined,
- 52:53Speaker 11: I was asked to help put together a praise dance team.
- 52:57Speaker 11: I enlisted the help of the associate pastor to me.
- 53:01Speaker 11: The associate pastor is only three years older than me,
- 53:04Speaker 11: and we connected on so many levels. We went to
- 53:07Speaker 11: the same college and we have the same favorite restaurant.
- 53:11Speaker 11: I was interested in getting to know him better, but
- 53:14Speaker 11: I was in a relationship with the drummer. One Saturday,
- 53:18Speaker 11: I was at a praise dance practice with the youth
- 53:21Speaker 11: and the associate pastor brought my lunch from my favorite restaurant.
- 53:25Speaker 11: After practice, we ate together and had a great conversation.
- 53:30Speaker 11: He said that my boyfriend, the drummer, is a ladies
- 53:34Speaker 11: man and has been with several women in the church.
- 53:37Speaker 11: That put me at ease about breaking up with the
- 53:39Speaker 11: drummer so I could pursue the associate pastor. A month
- 53:43Speaker 11: after I ended my relationship, I told the associate pastor
- 53:47Speaker 11: how I felt about him. We talked on the phone
- 53:50Speaker 11: off and on, so I figured it was okay to
- 53:52Speaker 11: let him know. He invited me to his place to talk.
- 53:56Speaker 11: One thing led to another and we were intimate. He
- 54:00Speaker 11: was exceptional in the bedroom and too freaky to be
- 54:03Speaker 11: a pastor. We talked daily for about a week afterwards,
- 54:07Speaker 11: and then he ghosted me. I confronted him at church
- 54:10Speaker 11: and he said he was wrong to have sex with me.
- 54:13Speaker 11: I told him I wanted it and I want him.
- 54:16Speaker 11: He said, there's no way we can be together because
- 54:19Speaker 11: my ex boyfriend goes to the church. I want this
- 54:22Speaker 11: man and we are so perfect for each other. Do
- 54:25Speaker 11: I leave the church so we can be together? Please advise?
- 54:30Speaker 11: Ooh slow, you're role lady.
- 54:32Speaker 1: Please.
- 54:34Speaker 11: First of all, you're way too gullible, way too gullible
- 54:37Speaker 11: and easy. I mean, you're listening to this man, the
- 54:41Speaker 11: associate pastor bad mouth your boyfriend, the drummer.
- 54:44Speaker 1: You break up with your boyfriend, and then you sleep
- 54:48Speaker 1: with the associate pastor just based on what he said.
- 54:51Speaker 11: All he had to do was just backstab your boyfriend
- 54:54Speaker 11: and then bring you a plate from your favorite restaurant.
- 54:58Speaker 11: And now you want to leave this church to be
- 55:01Speaker 11: with this man, to try and get this man. I
- 55:05Speaker 11: just think you're a mess. You know, you're all over
- 55:07Speaker 11: the place. He has told you that you guys can't
- 55:10Speaker 11: be together because of your ex and you know, I think.
- 55:15Speaker 1: You need to listen.
- 55:16Speaker 11: I think you need to really hear what he's saying
- 55:18Speaker 11: to you all he wanted from you. He got okay
- 55:23Speaker 11: that first.
- 55:23Speaker 1: Night when you went over to his house, and you're
- 55:26Speaker 1: still trying to pursue him. I think it's over. He
- 55:29Speaker 1: doesn't want you leave it alone.
- 55:33Speaker 7: Steve, Okay, I had the drummer, but I want to pass.
- 55:45Speaker 7: Everybody's familiar with the familiar line. Get a drama song.
- 55:53Speaker 6: Yeah, literally, it messed around.
- 55:59Speaker 7: He gave a drama too much. Well, you've been dating
- 56:03Speaker 7: the church's drummer. You left your home church. Now you
- 56:06Speaker 7: left your home church for a reason for the drama.
- 56:11Speaker 7: Or maybe it was somebody she was seeing at the
- 56:13Speaker 7: home church. I wouldn't put it. Pastor, he was dating
- 56:19Speaker 7: the church's drummer. He invited you to join, fell in
- 56:21Speaker 7: love with the atmosphere of the church, and the senior
- 56:23Speaker 7: pastor was really good. Now, when she joined the church,
- 56:28Speaker 7: they asked her to help put together a praise dance team.
- 56:32Speaker 7: Now here we go, right here, they asked you to
- 56:36Speaker 7: put together a praise dance team. And the first thing
- 56:39Speaker 7: you do is enlist the help of the associate pastor
- 56:43Speaker 7: to help me.
- 56:45Speaker 6: Since when is it the associate.
- 56:47Speaker 7: Pastor's position to put together to praised dance team.
- 56:53Speaker 2: The kids.
- 56:57Speaker 6: You already started some mess.
- 56:59Speaker 7: Had your eyes on the dude in the first place,
- 57:02Speaker 7: That's why you enlisted the help of him to help you. Well,
- 57:06Speaker 7: guess what then, all of a sudden, associated passed only
- 57:10Speaker 7: three years older than me, and we connected on so
- 57:14Speaker 7: many levels. We went to the same college, and we
- 57:17Speaker 7: have the same favorite restaurant. Well, I guess that's it.
- 57:21Speaker 1: Then we're together.
- 57:25Speaker 6: Yeah, well we waiting on. Sounded like a match made
- 57:29Speaker 6: in heaven to me.
- 57:30Speaker 7: Same college, didn't know each other there, and you like
- 57:34Speaker 7: the same restaurant. Now, if you're in a small ass town,
- 57:37Speaker 7: it ain't but nothing down there but Shonny's under dentist
- 57:40Speaker 7: high favored of a damn restaurant?
- 57:42Speaker 6: Can it be?
- 57:45Speaker 7: I was interested in getting to know it better, But
- 57:47Speaker 7: I was in a relationship with the drummer. So you
- 57:50Speaker 7: was at the praise dance practice. The pastor brought you
- 57:53Speaker 7: some lunch from your favorite restaurant. After practice, we ate together.
- 57:57Speaker 7: You ain't never sit down on the bench somewhere and ate,
- 58:00Speaker 7: had a great conversation, romantic. Then conveniently, he just happens
- 58:05Speaker 7: to tell you that your boyfriend, the drummer, is a
- 58:08Speaker 7: ladies man and has been with several women in the church.
- 58:13Speaker 2: Amazing how he just bought that.
- 58:15Speaker 1: Up, isn't it.
- 58:19Speaker 6: Slinging mud.
- 58:22Speaker 8: Now?
- 58:22Speaker 7: All of a sudden that put me at easy about
- 58:24Speaker 7: breaking up with the drummer so I could pursue the
- 58:26Speaker 7: associate pastor that you decided to pursue when you enlisted
- 58:30Speaker 7: him to help you with the praise team.
- 58:33Speaker 6: So I ain't surprised at none of that.
- 58:35Speaker 7: What you're going to be surprised about is when we
- 58:39Speaker 7: come back for what I have to tell you.
- 58:43Speaker 1: Okay, all right, hold on to that thought, Steve.
- 58:48Speaker 11: We will definitely come back at twenty three minutes after
- 58:51Speaker 11: the hour to get back into this letter and get
- 58:54Speaker 11: part two of Steve's response.
- 58:55Speaker 1: I had the drummer, but I want the pastor. We'll
- 58:58Speaker 1: get back into it, right.
- 58:59Speaker 6: So she did.
- 59:02Speaker 1: You're listening morning show?
- 59:05Speaker 7: All right?
- 59:05Speaker 11: Come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 59:08Speaker 1: I had the drummer, but I want the pastor. Is
- 59:12Speaker 1: the subject?
- 59:13Speaker 7: Woo it's lady that left her home church in pursuit
- 59:16Speaker 7: of the drummer. Invited her to come to the church.
- 59:19Speaker 7: She fell in love with them, with the atmosphere so
- 59:22Speaker 7: she joined. She dating the drummer. After she Joiny told her,
- 59:27Speaker 7: why don't you help put together praise dance team. They
- 59:30Speaker 7: could have got anybody for that. There ain't no talent
- 59:35Speaker 7: in picking the praise dance team. Who want to try out?
- 59:41Speaker 6: All right?
- 59:42Speaker 7: So anyway, when you found out you was gonna pick
- 59:45Speaker 7: the team, you enlisted the help of the associate pastor.
- 59:51Speaker 6: To help you pick the the dance team. All right.
- 59:55Speaker 7: He's only three years older than me, and we connected
- 59:58Speaker 7: on so many levels. We went to the same college,
- 1:00:00Speaker 7: that we got the same favorite restaurant. Well, if that's
- 1:00:04Speaker 7: all it takes, that was ladies. There's hope for everybody.
- 1:00:08Speaker 6: Now, all you gotta find is somebody like the same
- 1:00:11Speaker 6: food you like, and the dean do is here comes
- 1:00:16Speaker 6: the wedding. All right.
- 1:00:18Speaker 7: One Saturday was at the praise dance practice. You pastor
- 1:00:21Speaker 7: brought you lunch from your favorite restaurant. Y'all sat down,
- 1:00:24Speaker 7: talked to had a great conversation. In this great conversation,
- 1:00:27Speaker 7: he informed you that your boyfriend is a ladies man,
- 1:00:30Speaker 7: a player, and he has had several women at the church.
- 1:00:35Speaker 7: Then you said right away, well that put me in
- 1:00:37Speaker 7: he is about breaking up with the drummer so I
- 1:00:39Speaker 7: could pursue the associate pastor. Whoo you rolling you just
- 1:00:44Speaker 7: left your other church? Probably what some mess going on
- 1:00:48Speaker 7: over there. A month after I ended my relationship, I
- 1:00:52Speaker 7: told the associate pastor how I felt about him. We
- 1:00:57Speaker 7: talked on the phone off and on, so I figured
- 1:00:59Speaker 7: it was okay to let him know. Well, he invited
- 1:01:02Speaker 7: you to his place. One thing led to another, and
- 1:01:06Speaker 7: we were intimate. He was exceptional in the bedroom and
- 1:01:10Speaker 7: too freaky to be a pastor, lady, He ain't always
- 1:01:14Speaker 7: been in the pastor.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: Paste.
- 1:01:19Speaker 7: Yeah, he was something before the pastor. So why don't
- 1:01:23Speaker 7: know why people be talking about he a pastor. I
- 1:01:25Speaker 7: don't know where he got all that from from before
- 1:01:27Speaker 7: he was the pastor. So he then obviously turned you out.
- 1:01:33Speaker 7: We talked daily for about a week afterwards, and then
- 1:01:36Speaker 7: he ghosted me. So you did like most scorn people,
- 1:01:41Speaker 7: You confronted him at church. Then he told you some
- 1:01:45Speaker 7: scripture he was wrong to have sex with you. He
- 1:01:50Speaker 7: intended to do this all alone. That's why he told
- 1:01:52Speaker 7: your boyfriend was a player. He wanted to just get
- 1:01:56Speaker 7: you away from it. He ghosted you because he threw
- 1:02:03Speaker 7: now you over that gonna try to put some spiritual
- 1:02:05Speaker 7: reason I was wrong.
- 1:02:06Speaker 6: To have sex with you.
- 1:02:08Speaker 7: I told him I wanted it and I wanted him.
- 1:02:11Speaker 7: He says, ain't no way we can be together because
- 1:02:13Speaker 7: your ex boyfriend and go to the church. I want
- 1:02:17Speaker 7: this man and we are so perfect for each other.
- 1:02:19Speaker 7: Do I leave the church so we can be together?
- 1:02:21Speaker 6: Please? What you're gonna leave another church? Yeah? So what
- 1:02:26Speaker 6: you really need to You really don't need to decide
- 1:02:29Speaker 6: whether you need to leave or state. You really need
- 1:02:32Speaker 6: to decide and find out does he even want you?
- 1:02:37Speaker 7: He doesn't, because what I don't care If your ex
- 1:02:42Speaker 7: boyfriend is the drummer, that's no reason why a man
- 1:02:47Speaker 7: don't want you. See, he was too freaky and you
- 1:02:54Speaker 7: might not have been freaky enough. Oh, all these letters
- 1:03:03Speaker 7: bring out some bad things. You have to face, so
- 1:03:08Speaker 7: many things. You have to find out that you ain't
- 1:03:11Speaker 7: all you thought you was. Now you to find out
- 1:03:15Speaker 7: he didn't ghost that you passed as ghost people too,
- 1:03:20Speaker 7: but he ghosted you with a scripture. I was wrong
- 1:03:22Speaker 7: to have sex with you?
- 1:03:24Speaker 6: Well he was?
- 1:03:24Speaker 7: What was he wrong when he was having sex with you? No,
- 1:03:28Speaker 7: that didn't come up, or he just wrong for having
- 1:03:31Speaker 7: had sex with you.
- 1:03:33Speaker 6: See, all it.
- 1:03:34Speaker 11: Took was him to say that is she broke up
- 1:03:37Speaker 11: with the drummer out that's who she wanted in the
- 1:03:41Speaker 11: first place.
- 1:03:42Speaker 7: Yeah. Yeah, so now that's why she asked the associate
- 1:03:45Speaker 7: pastor to assist.
- 1:03:46Speaker 6: Her in picking the praise dance team. Who need help
- 1:03:50Speaker 6: doing that? Yeah? Who gets cut from the praise dance
- 1:03:56Speaker 6: team because you had church? You can't cut nobody from
- 1:04:01Speaker 6: the praise dance too.
- 1:04:03Speaker 7: If you can't really praise dance, you stand there holy flag,
- 1:04:09Speaker 7: or you fill up the water bends and stuff and
- 1:04:12Speaker 7: sprayed dancers.
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: They got something for you, your holy.
- 1:04:17Speaker 6: Little skinny girl rode while she hold around so it
- 1:04:20Speaker 6: looked like she's flying, or you just be a basis.
- 1:04:24Speaker 7: Sometimes your job is just to throw the little skinny
- 1:04:26Speaker 7: ass praise dancer in the air.
- 1:04:28Speaker 6: That's your job. We got job for big people on
- 1:04:31Speaker 6: praise team.
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: I love praise dancers.
- 1:04:36Speaker 6: I know I know you do.
- 1:04:37Speaker 7: Nothew, he don't want you. You got played And it
- 1:04:47Speaker 7: don't matter if you leave that church or not. He's
- 1:04:50Speaker 7: not gonna stay with you. If you was perfect for him,
- 1:04:53Speaker 7: he'd have you.
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: She's going to church for the wrong man.
- 1:04:57Speaker 6: You going to church for the wrong reasons.
- 1:05:00Speaker 7: Yeah, she needs to be church for the drama and
- 1:05:03Speaker 7: the past, for the Lord and the atmosphere.
- 1:05:07Speaker 6: Get a trauma, sir.
- 1:05:10Speaker 5: I did.

- 1:18:31Speaker 1: Has been a fun day. I have to say, it's
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: been a good day. Thank you Lord for that for
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: this day. All right, Steve, So it's time take us
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: home with some closing remarks.
- 1:18:41Speaker 6: Please, all right, I think today it's a good day
- 1:18:45Speaker 6: for this.
- 1:18:46Speaker 7: I want to talk to everybody out there that's trying
- 1:18:49Speaker 7: to accomplish something, trying to reach a goal, or trying
- 1:18:54Speaker 7: to make a dream come true. The majority of people,
- 1:19:01Speaker 7: almost all the people that I deal with in business.
- 1:19:07Speaker 6: In my day to day.
- 1:19:10Speaker 7: In my family and all of my coworkers, almost everybody
- 1:19:16Speaker 7: that I'm friends with are on just really cool terms
- 1:19:22Speaker 7: with are trying to reach a goal, make a dream come.
- 1:19:27Speaker 6: True, or accomplish something.
- 1:19:30Speaker 7: But in this task you have to remember that along
- 1:19:34Speaker 7: the way you will always always be tested. You must
- 1:19:41Speaker 7: expect from the moment you set a goal or decide
- 1:19:45Speaker 7: and make up in your mind that you're going to
- 1:19:47Speaker 7: accomplish something, you must then understand that you are going
- 1:19:52Speaker 7: to be tested. Now, these tests come two ways. They
- 1:20:00Speaker 7: come in a form of challenges. They come into forms
- 1:20:02Speaker 7: of setbacks, They come in forms of disappointment, betrayal, all
- 1:20:11Speaker 7: kinds of tests, financial, They come in a array of way.
- 1:20:16Speaker 7: It happens to everybody. So when you strike out, know
- 1:20:22Speaker 7: that this is going to happen. Some of these things
- 1:20:26Speaker 7: are presented to you by your creator. Some of them
- 1:20:32Speaker 7: are presented to you by him to strengthen you along
- 1:20:36Speaker 7: the way, to teach you some lessons that you need
- 1:20:38Speaker 7: to know along the way. Some of these obstacles are
- 1:20:42Speaker 7: thrown in your face by the enemy, because the enemy
- 1:20:46Speaker 7: has one objective. Simply, he doesn't care if you get
- 1:20:50Speaker 7: a new car. He doesn't care if you get a
- 1:20:52Speaker 7: raised or a promotion, or if you make a lot
- 1:20:54Speaker 7: of money or you buy yourself a home. The devil
- 1:20:56Speaker 7: don't really care about that. His whole mission is to
- 1:21:00Speaker 7: rob you of your destiny. That's his soul mission in
- 1:21:04Speaker 7: life is to keep you from reaching your destiny. As
- 1:21:07Speaker 7: a matter of fact, he don't care for a couple
- 1:21:10Speaker 7: of cool things happen to you. Why are you doing
- 1:21:13Speaker 7: something illegal? He's okay with that. He hate when God
- 1:21:20Speaker 7: blesses you. He hates when you give God glory and credit.
- 1:21:24Speaker 7: But man, if you get a little bit on the
- 1:21:27Speaker 7: side because you're hustling or you dealing to something, he
- 1:21:30Speaker 7: cool with that.
- 1:21:31Speaker 6: You know why, Because he's robbing you of your destiny.
- 1:21:36Speaker 7: You have to understand that you are gonna be set
- 1:21:41Speaker 7: by problems, situations, circumstance. It happens to all of us.
- 1:21:48Speaker 7: It is simply called life. No one is exempt from life.
- 1:21:56Speaker 7: No one gets to skip through life Scotch free, Scott free.
- 1:22:01Speaker 7: Nobody gets to be problem free nobody. And let me
- 1:22:05Speaker 7: tell you something. When you look around and you see
- 1:22:07Speaker 7: somebody and they seem like they handling in it, so well,
- 1:22:12Speaker 7: just know this. That person that you see seems to
- 1:22:15Speaker 7: always get up when they fall down, they always seem
- 1:22:19Speaker 7: to be handling it. They keep a smile on their face.
- 1:22:22Speaker 7: I got news for you. That problem, that person going
- 1:22:25Speaker 7: through it and got some situations. But I bet you
- 1:22:28Speaker 7: he got some faith. I bet you that person right
- 1:22:32Speaker 7: there has always got a smile on their face. I
- 1:22:35Speaker 7: bet you they got a relationship with God. I can
- 1:22:38Speaker 7: almost promise you that if you see a person that
- 1:22:41Speaker 7: keeps getting knocked down, if you know somebody that people
- 1:22:44Speaker 7: always writing them off, and you see them keep rising again,
- 1:22:48Speaker 7: that person right there, no God. That person right there
- 1:22:52Speaker 7: got some faith because listen to me. I had a
- 1:22:55Speaker 7: T shirt I was selling one time for the Foundation
- 1:22:58Speaker 7: that says faith doesn't make it easy, faith makes it possible.
- 1:23:04Speaker 7: And when you have faith, it creates the possibility. Instead
- 1:23:10Speaker 7: of always looking at stuff at the probability, you gotta
- 1:23:14Speaker 7: start looking at stuff with the possibility. And the reason
- 1:23:18Speaker 7: I created that phrase because I kind of I don't
- 1:23:20Speaker 7: really know the exact term for all of this, but
- 1:23:24Speaker 7: probability kind of mean like it probably something probably might happen.
- 1:23:29Speaker 7: You know, the probability always presents a problem. Now it
- 1:23:33Speaker 7: probably might not work, It probably a go bad. If
- 1:23:37Speaker 7: you do this somebody probably might not like it. You
- 1:23:42Speaker 7: probably might not reach that goal. I call them probabilities.
- 1:23:47Speaker 7: They come into form of statistics. Somebody always got.
- 1:23:51Speaker 6: A statistic for you know.
- 1:23:53Speaker 7: You know, nine out of ten people don't make it
- 1:23:55Speaker 7: in that field. You know, you know they say that
- 1:24:00Speaker 7: one in every twenty five people end up getting hurt
- 1:24:04Speaker 7: doing that. But there are some people who have faith
- 1:24:11Speaker 7: and they have the same problems, trials, challenges and tests
- 1:24:16Speaker 7: that you face. They looking at them just like you
- 1:24:19Speaker 7: looking at them, but they handling it a different way.
- 1:24:23Speaker 7: They have a companion and they have a guide, and
- 1:24:28Speaker 7: that is their relationship with God.
- 1:24:31Speaker 6: And when you have God, you have help.
- 1:24:35Speaker 7: You have a source that you can turn over the
- 1:24:37Speaker 7: worry and the problems too, so you can keep on
- 1:24:41Speaker 7: up the road, develop your faith, trust in God, and
- 1:24:46Speaker 7: your goals, your accomplishments and dreams would be a lot
- 1:24:51Speaker 7: simpler for you to handle. It's still gonna be problems,
- 1:24:54Speaker 7: but you're gonna be able to handle it. Those are
- 1:24:56Speaker 7: my closing remarks today. I've already tried the mic. Ladies
- 1:25:01Speaker 7: and gentlemen, talk to God today. He'd loved to hear
- 1:25:03Speaker 7: from y'all.
- 1:25:14Speaker 8: For all.
