- 1:41Speaker 1: them out. Got to turn out to turn the water
- 1:47Speaker 1: the water. Come come on your back, uh, I shall
- 2:03Speaker 1: well a good minding. Everybody. You're listening to the voice,
- 2:07Speaker 1: come on dig me now one it only Steve Harvey
- 2:10Speaker 1: got a radio show, this one today. I want to
- 2:15Speaker 1: share with you. It's for all of us. And here
- 2:19Speaker 1: it is. There is a solution to all of your
- 2:26Speaker 1: problems in situations. If you don't know what your next
- 2:31Speaker 1: move is, that to go, I don't I don't care
- 2:34Speaker 1: what it is. If if the relationship you're in it's
- 2:39Speaker 1: all wrong and you don't know how to get out
- 2:42Speaker 1: of it, it doesn't matter. There's a solution to all
- 2:48Speaker 1: your problems and situations, that solution to all your problems,
- 2:53Speaker 1: that way to make all your dreams come true, the
- 2:57Speaker 1: way around a lot of this and to the weakness
- 3:01Speaker 1: that you feel at times. It's prayer. Prayer, a connection
- 3:07Speaker 1: with your creative Could that be the thing that's missing
- 3:11Speaker 1: in your life. I'm just asking because whenever I get
- 3:17Speaker 1: a little bit off track, all I gotta do is think,
- 3:21Speaker 1: just a moment, Steve, have you been have you been praying? Man?
- 3:26Speaker 1: Have you been connecting with your creator? I know you're busy, man,
- 3:30Speaker 1: I know you're busy, and I know at the end
- 3:33Speaker 1: of the day you're done. You're done, and sometimes crawling
- 3:37Speaker 1: into bed is all you can manage to do. I've
- 3:40Speaker 1: said this, it happened to me last night. Again. I
- 3:45Speaker 1: did all of this. But when I look and when
- 3:48Speaker 1: I see things not moving, or I don't feel like
- 3:52Speaker 1: things are going in the right direction, or I have
- 3:54Speaker 1: a sense of being stagnant, all I got to do
- 3:58Speaker 1: is retrace it. Because I'm working. It's no doubt about that.
- 4:02Speaker 1: I'm working. But I'm i staying connected. Am I using
- 4:07Speaker 1: that weapon that's available to all of us? And I pray?
- 4:11Speaker 1: And the answer is usually no? And so I know, okay, okay, man,
- 4:15Speaker 1: I'm getting off track him because see, let me tell
- 4:18Speaker 1: you something, man. The reason the reason I constantly talk
- 4:23Speaker 1: to God is because life constantly changes. People who said
- 4:28Speaker 1: they was going to do something for you one day,
- 4:30Speaker 1: have changed their mind. The next somebody you thought was
- 4:34Speaker 1: gonna show up that day called in late, had an
- 4:38Speaker 1: accident and couldn't make it. That changes the parameters of everything.
- 4:43Speaker 1: The meeting you had set up that had to be
- 4:45Speaker 1: canceled because somebody was ill, That changes the parameters the
- 4:50Speaker 1: time frame of everything. Because it's all connected. So if
- 4:55Speaker 1: I don't stay in constant prayer and stay connected to
- 4:58Speaker 1: the Creator when this thing things happened, I'm not put
- 5:02Speaker 1: in my bed. I've not talked to him about how
- 5:04Speaker 1: to handle it, or I'm just not aware of it
- 5:07Speaker 1: and what to do next. And the next thing you know,
- 5:10Speaker 1: it becomes a little stagnant. That has happened to me.
- 5:12Speaker 1: I gotta get back because prayer is the solution to
- 5:18Speaker 1: all of my problems and situations. I have found that
- 5:22Speaker 1: to be the case now. The only reason I'm telling
- 5:25Speaker 1: it to you is because I know if you anything
- 5:28Speaker 1: like me, slash human being, then there are times that
- 5:32Speaker 1: you feel anxious. There's moments of desperation. You have moments
- 5:37Speaker 1: of uncertainty. That are times when you feel like you've
- 5:41Speaker 1: lost your way or your purpose is a little blurred.
- 5:46Speaker 1: You're not show anymore, or you don't know what your
- 5:49Speaker 1: next move is, or the relationship you in or the
- 5:52Speaker 1: relationships you're dabbling in. They're just all wrong for you. Man,
- 5:59Speaker 1: there is a solution to all your problems and situations,
- 6:03Speaker 1: and its prayer. If you're suffering from any of the
- 6:07Speaker 1: things I just listed, or any other thing you could
- 6:09Speaker 1: think of, just check your prayer. What has your prayer
- 6:12Speaker 1: been lately? About it? And this is for everybody. I
- 6:18Speaker 1: often find when I get that disconnection, man, my prayer
- 6:23Speaker 1: and slipped off, I started feeling a little bit less,
- 6:27Speaker 1: so I gotta jump back on it. I'm just offering
- 6:29Speaker 1: you a solution to it, man, and and and and
- 6:32Speaker 1: and I'm giving you a solution that works one of
- 6:35Speaker 1: a thousand percent. Fust shout see. I ain't guessing at
- 6:39Speaker 1: this one. I'm telling you what has happened in my life,
- 6:43Speaker 1: how I did it, and it'll do for you. God
- 6:46Speaker 1: has filled with mercy and grace. He knows we all
- 6:50Speaker 1: messed up. He knows all of us have done some
- 6:53Speaker 1: jacked up things that don't nobody know about. He know
- 6:56Speaker 1: all about our past. Man, he know all of that.
- 7:01Speaker 1: But he is so full of grace and mercy so
- 7:04Speaker 1: full of fifty fifth chances. But you know the thing
- 7:07Speaker 1: about your life, though, and the thing I had to
- 7:10Speaker 1: come to terms with, and the reason I don't let
- 7:13Speaker 1: out of the reason I don't let my past bury me,
- 7:16Speaker 1: the reason I don't let my past define me is
- 7:19Speaker 1: because my past I found out or just the ingredients
- 7:27Speaker 1: needed for me to make this cake I'm eating now.
- 7:33Speaker 1: My past is just my ingredients. See, you don't get
- 7:38Speaker 1: rid of your pass. They ain't. They ain't gonna where
- 7:42Speaker 1: they are the ingredients, But when you put them with
- 7:44Speaker 1: something else, they look better, they taste better, it is better.
- 7:50Speaker 1: All of our past are just the ingredients that have
- 7:53Speaker 1: become the cake we eating now. Now, if you don't
- 7:56Speaker 1: like the way your cake taste, then you gotta stop
- 7:58Speaker 1: putting some other ingredients in there. Just because you started
- 8:02Speaker 1: off and your cake was messed up, don't mean you
- 8:05Speaker 1: can't straighten out the flavor of your cake. You gotta
- 8:07Speaker 1: put some different ingredients in there. So let's say your
- 8:12Speaker 1: cake is trifling tasted, it's bitter. Your cake is bitter, Well,
- 8:16Speaker 1: you got to dilute the bitterness. You gotta put some
- 8:19Speaker 1: more goodness in there. So you gotta put some goodness
- 8:22Speaker 1: ingredients to take away the taste of the bitterness. So
- 8:28Speaker 1: you gotta put some different ingredients in there. You gotta
- 8:30Speaker 1: start living your life a little more kindly, a little
- 8:33Speaker 1: more thoughtful, a little more sharing, a little more caring.
- 8:37Speaker 1: And then after a while, man, those new ingredients combined
- 8:40Speaker 1: with that bitter it starts overshadowing the bitter taste because
- 8:44Speaker 1: the bitter taste is further behind you. Now, see something
- 8:48Speaker 1: that happened to you twelve fifteen, thirty twenty five, sixteen
- 8:52Speaker 1: years ago. Ain't got to be the flavor that's in
- 8:55Speaker 1: your mouth now unless you let it be. It's ingredients. Man,
- 9:02Speaker 1: if you're sick, it away your cake taste and change
- 9:04Speaker 1: your ingredients. Put something else in your cake mix so
- 9:09Speaker 1: you can get a better taste. If you don't like
- 9:13Speaker 1: the way your life taste. Pray. I've been here my
- 9:16Speaker 1: mama saying for years. Boy, prayer changes things, don't My mama,
- 9:21Speaker 1: you said to me all the time. I said to
- 9:23Speaker 1: my TV artist, is when they come see me on
- 9:25Speaker 1: the talk show, before I walk on stage, I tell
- 9:28Speaker 1: them these words, my mother said, I said, my mother
- 9:31Speaker 1: used to always tell me this, and it's bailed me
- 9:33Speaker 1: out and it might do the same thing for you.
- 9:37Speaker 1: I say whatever I get in trouble, I hear her words.
- 9:40Speaker 1: She says, son, don't forget to pray, don't be ashamed
- 9:44Speaker 1: to pray, and don't be too proud to pray, because prayer,
- 9:49Speaker 1: prayer changes things, and you better believe something. It one
- 9:54Speaker 1: hundred percent showed. Do you're listening to show, Ladies and gentlemen,
- 10:03Speaker 1: We are here. It is morning time. It is the
- 10:05Speaker 1: beginning of a new day. It's a new opportunity, a
- 10:08Speaker 1: great chance, a blessing to be here yet alive again.
- 10:14Speaker 1: I don't know about you, but I'm so glad about that. Boy.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Oh man, give it to me God because I show
- 10:21Speaker 1: appreciate it. This is the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Make

- 11:25Speaker 1: You know Friday is good. But Friday used to be
- 11:27Speaker 1: kind of scary when you was in school. But that
- 11:29Speaker 1: when you get your ass whipped a three on Friday,
- 11:31Speaker 1: you know you can get your you can get jumped
- 11:33Speaker 1: on Friday in school that came out Friday. You got
- 11:39Speaker 1: your ass whipped on Monday's Day when you got your
- 11:40Speaker 1: air well, you know, I got the lights on out
- 11:43Speaker 1: of friights on Friday trying to help your little sorry
- 11:45Speaker 1: ass Friday. I got to go down ahead and help
- 11:50Speaker 1: his ass, all right, you were supposed to do. You
- 11:54Speaker 1: were supposed but it wasn't a good look. Ten years
- 11:57Speaker 1: older than him, and it ain't a good little he
- 12:00Speaker 1: on the playground. I'm over there, I'm an eighteen trying
- 12:02Speaker 1: to slow his ass whooping down. Back then you could
- 12:07Speaker 1: hit the eight year old boy, hit him and your nephew. Well,
- 12:12Speaker 1: I don't understand. Well, I'm too old to be out
- 12:16Speaker 1: there jumping on new kids. Grown you eighteen, But I'm saying,
- 12:20Speaker 1: why do they want to jump on Tommy? Though? Yeah?
- 12:23Speaker 1: He is right there because he was clever. They hated
- 12:27Speaker 1: clever kids. They didn't Tommy wholever. All I know, sir,
- 12:34Speaker 1: that I was getting jumped on. I'm glad Jay is
- 12:38Speaker 1: here today one of his workdays. What's no, what's different?
- 12:41Speaker 1: People jumped on and picked though? What is the different
- 12:44Speaker 1: between jumped on and chucked on? The jumped on us?
- 12:48Speaker 1: Two or three people hit on his words ump picked on?
- 12:53Speaker 1: Is your mama? Your mama? Jokes? Yeah? Picked one? Is
- 12:58Speaker 1: your mama, Joseph? Jump though? There's three or five people?
- 13:01Speaker 1: Can you get picked on and jumped on at the
- 13:03Speaker 1: same time? Picking on usually occurs folded jumping. Yes, it's
- 13:08Speaker 1: the order to it. That's the lead off. They don't
- 13:12Speaker 1: jump on you, didn't pick on you. They pick on
- 13:14Speaker 1: you and depend on how you're taking it. That turns
- 13:16Speaker 1: into a harpy. Okay. And I only got jumped on
- 13:22Speaker 1: Jay after I see some stuff he told me to say. Say.
- 13:28Speaker 1: I told him to say it if he could back
- 13:30Speaker 1: it up. I didn't tell him to go down there
- 13:32Speaker 1: that day, coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour,
- 13:39Speaker 1: asked the CLO Chief Love Officers Sea Harry in the building.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Right after this you're listening morning show. All right, guys.
- 13:47Speaker 1: Time Now we're asked the CLO chief Love Officer the
- 13:51Speaker 1: close Steve Harvey. Uh, this one is from Terrasea online
- 13:58Speaker 1: or Teresia one and Teresa Yeah, yeah, it could be
- 14:04Speaker 1: over one. My boyfriend has a barbershop and he's there
- 14:08Speaker 1: a lot of late nights. I go by from time
- 14:11Speaker 1: to time and there are usually a few females around
- 14:13Speaker 1: his place because of a beauty supply store next door.
- 14:17Speaker 1: I pulled up the other day and there was a
- 14:19Speaker 1: woman sitting in his chair. He was nowhere to be found.
- 14:22Speaker 1: He walked in with two plates of wings, one for
- 14:25Speaker 1: her and one for himself. I told him I was
- 14:29Speaker 1: sorry for interrupting his lunch break, and I left. He
- 14:32Speaker 1: didn't chase after me, but he did call me to
- 14:35Speaker 1: say it's his place of business. And I overreacted, did I? Well? WHOA.
- 14:41Speaker 1: I don't know if you overreacted. You said side to
- 14:44Speaker 1: interrupt your dinner. You left. The overreacting would have been
- 14:47Speaker 1: slapping the plate out of her hand and then trying
- 14:50Speaker 1: to cut her hair. That would have been a little much. Yeah,
- 14:56Speaker 1: that would have been overreacted. I think you did the
- 14:59Speaker 1: profession No thing by saying, oh, I'm sorry to interrupt
- 15:02Speaker 1: your lunch and walk out. That's the biggest blessing he had.
- 15:07Speaker 1: The fact that he didn't chase after you was to
- 15:10Speaker 1: try and act like everything was cool. Don't worry about it.
- 15:13Speaker 1: Then he'll call you later. Saw him, you know, if
- 15:18Speaker 1: the woman was in his chair and he'd come back
- 15:20Speaker 1: with two plates of wings, I don't know if he
- 15:23Speaker 1: was doing his bad time, if he would uber eat
- 15:25Speaker 1: some postmates. I don't know what he's doing, but you.
- 15:29Speaker 1: I don't think you overreacted. But who you eat wings with?
- 15:33Speaker 1: Though they are important, you don't everybody they important? Chiming,
- 15:40Speaker 1: I know yesterday I got a half cup my off.
- 15:42Speaker 1: Barbara didn't offer me nothing. Dude, pay the money, get
- 15:51Speaker 1: your ass out to next. We're moving on, guys. Mashonda
- 15:59Speaker 1: and Charlotte said Steve that my husband and I are
- 16:02Speaker 1: thirty seven, and I had a son when I was
- 16:04Speaker 1: seventeen by another guy, and my husband is raising him.
- 16:09Speaker 1: He's very hard on my son, and he says I
- 16:11Speaker 1: let him get away with too much stuff. Last night,
- 16:14Speaker 1: my son broke his curfew and came in with a
- 16:17Speaker 1: black eye. I was more concerned about his eye than
- 16:20Speaker 1: him being late. My husband still put him on punishment.
- 16:23Speaker 1: We got in a heated argument and he said, I
- 16:26Speaker 1: treat my son like he's my friend. I told him
- 16:29Speaker 1: I can handle my son. Am I wrong? Should I
- 16:32Speaker 1: let him take the lead? Yeah? Yeah, if you can
- 16:34Speaker 1: handle your son, you'd be handling him. I'm sorry, ladies,
- 16:38Speaker 1: but listen to me. I first of all, applaud you.
- 16:41Speaker 1: Being a single mother's hard. It's doubly hard when you're
- 16:44Speaker 1: trying to raise a boy and turn him into a man.
- 16:47Speaker 1: This boy of yours is twenty years old. Am I right? Huh? Yeah,
- 16:55Speaker 1: the boy is seventeen. They're thirty seven the parents. I'm sorry,
- 17:03Speaker 1: I'm sorry twenty years old. If you're doing a great
- 17:10Speaker 1: job as a single mother, but you can't turn the
- 17:12Speaker 1: boy into a man. You got a man that who's
- 17:15Speaker 1: trying to show you what to do, but you want
- 17:17Speaker 1: to saut shoot the boy now he broke her few.
- 17:20Speaker 1: I know why it was late because he's getting his
- 17:22Speaker 1: ass hood. So that's why he was late. That you
- 17:26Speaker 1: weren't that more concerned about the blackout and why he
- 17:28Speaker 1: was late is why he was late. It's reason, lady,
- 17:33Speaker 1: why would you step aside why don't you let the
- 17:35Speaker 1: man show you a couple of things. You got this
- 17:39Speaker 1: little undisciplined boy running around. He hard on him because
- 17:44Speaker 1: if he don't. If he's not hard on this boy, now,
- 17:48Speaker 1: life gonna be hard on him. And you ain't gonna
- 17:50Speaker 1: believe what life gonna do to him. Lock up My
- 17:54Speaker 1: one thing me and my sons was laughing about the
- 17:56Speaker 1: other day, Dad, you told us you ain't got the
- 17:59Speaker 1: whoop us no, because life gonna do it for you
- 18:02Speaker 1: went and told me, went to say, how many times
- 18:04Speaker 1: I wish I was in that basement getting my asshoop
- 18:08Speaker 1: and this problem I guy would just go away? He said,
- 18:12Speaker 1: I take a basement right now to make two of
- 18:15Speaker 1: these problems. I gotta go away. And that's what happened.
- 18:18Speaker 1: But you know what, Steve, I think some women don't
- 18:20Speaker 1: realize men. We've been boys before, so we know exactly
- 18:23Speaker 1: what the boy is doing. Man, we know exactly what
- 18:26Speaker 1: he's doing. It's original, It's been done a million times.
- 18:32Speaker 1: We see we did it, and stuff from a man.
- 18:38Speaker 1: He needs to hear it from a man. It could
- 18:41Speaker 1: be the same thing from a woman, but he needs
- 18:43Speaker 1: to hear it from a man. It just sounds all right.
- 18:46Speaker 1: Let me let me ask you this, is it possible
- 18:49Speaker 1: the man could be hard on the sun. I'm just
- 18:51Speaker 1: throwing it out there. Yes, too hard. I supposed to
- 18:56Speaker 1: be hard. He ain't beating the boy, but he checking it. Well,
- 19:00Speaker 1: he didn't say that. She didn't say that, But well
- 19:02Speaker 1: she's saying that. She don't like the way he'd be
- 19:04Speaker 1: checking the boy all the time, like he owning. You
- 19:08Speaker 1: got to be on him if you don't get okay,
- 19:11Speaker 1: let me give you an example. He broke curfew to
- 19:15Speaker 1: come home with a black guy. Next time he might
- 19:18Speaker 1: not be able to come home. If you'd got home earlier,
- 19:22Speaker 1: you probably would have got your assw See that's the point, right.
- 19:25Speaker 1: But but now he came made it home with the
- 19:27Speaker 1: black eye this time. The next time he may not
- 19:30Speaker 1: make it home. Yeah, see that, y'all. Double The streets
- 19:36Speaker 1: are hard on by man many right now, even dog,
- 19:42Speaker 1: He's lucky somebody was throwing hands, because that ain't what
- 19:45Speaker 1: they do no more. Yeah that she's out there all right,
- 19:49Speaker 1: all right? Jay Um dude has been messing around with
- 19:54Speaker 1: his side piece. Told his side piece, me and my
- 19:57Speaker 1: wife's sleeping separate rooms. We don't even have sex all
- 20:00Speaker 1: of a sudden, the wife, she'll up pregnant. What do
- 20:02Speaker 1: you tell your side piece? What take your time with
- 20:09Speaker 1: that one man? This is important, This is important. It
- 20:12Speaker 1: ain't really nothing. The gig is up, you lie? Proof
- 20:18Speaker 1: is in the put? She pregnant? I'll be damned. I
- 20:23Speaker 1: bet she's seeing somebody else. But you're gonna try that.
- 20:27Speaker 1: So why don't you leave her and we're gonna get married?
- 20:30Speaker 1: Huh m? The gig is up? Does that answer your question? Jack?
- 20:40Speaker 1: Thank you? Sell? Coming up? Don't we screeper separate rooms
- 20:44Speaker 1: sept that one night? The nephew would run that prank
- 20:48Speaker 1: back right after this. You're listening, coming up at the
- 20:54Speaker 1: top of the hour, miss Annah standing by with National News.
- 20:58Speaker 1: President Biden signed the COVID nineteen stimulus bill into law
- 21:03Speaker 1: yesterday and gave a primetime speech last night. And trending
- 21:07Speaker 1: entertainment news Jacy dash is back in the news, apologizing
- 21:11Speaker 1: for her past political comments. We'll talk about all of
- 21:14Speaker 1: these stories at the top of the hour. Trying to
- 21:17Speaker 1: get back, prostest, breathing, trying to come back. Yeah, right now,
- 21:22Speaker 1: the nephew is here, would run that break back. What
- 21:25Speaker 1: you got for us? Nass your doors, your door. That's
- 21:32Speaker 1: pretty simple. Okay, mister yesterday hideous today? Yo, dough, let's
- 21:36Speaker 1: go cad down. Hello. Hello, I'm trying to reach a
- 21:40Speaker 1: mister Paul. Please call Virginia Senior, probably senior. Okay, this

- 21:56Speaker 1: like I said. My name is Mark Stevens. I'm actually
- 21:58Speaker 1: calling from Doors. We're actually the company that uh supplied
- 22:03Speaker 1: the doors that are actually throughout your house. Okay, great,
- 22:07Speaker 1: what are you calling for a follow up? Oh no,
- 22:08Speaker 1: this isn't a follow up. Actually, we've got a couple
- 22:10Speaker 1: of glitches we want to try and get get straighten
- 22:12Speaker 1: out if we could find uh Well, here's here's the problem, sir.
- 22:16Speaker 1: The problem we're having is that the contractor that actually
- 22:19Speaker 1: built you as home, yes, has not paid for the doors.
- 22:24Speaker 1: You guys have been there two and a half months
- 22:26Speaker 1: and we can't seem to get the contractor to come
- 22:29Speaker 1: in and pay for the doors. Try to call them.
- 22:33Speaker 1: We've tried to call him several times and we have
- 22:35Speaker 1: not been able to get number the yeah on him.
- 22:37Speaker 1: Because you have a good number, I can give you
- 22:39Speaker 1: a number because I really don't have anything to do
- 22:42Speaker 1: with that. It's like, I do you get my number? Well, actually,
- 22:45Speaker 1: we had your number of files as the homeowner, and
- 22:47Speaker 1: that's pretty much how we had you. But the problem
- 22:50Speaker 1: we're facing here, sir, is we've tried to get this
- 22:52Speaker 1: guy for the last couple of months and we can't
- 22:55Speaker 1: get him. So, actually, what's what's gonna happen here in
- 22:58Speaker 1: the next day or so is we're probably gonna have
- 23:00Speaker 1: to come and get all the doors o ways and
- 23:03Speaker 1: do what. We're probably gonna have to come and get
- 23:05Speaker 1: all the doors in your house, take them off and
- 23:08Speaker 1: bring them back here to the plant until we get
- 23:11Speaker 1: you gonna get out of my doors. We're gonna have
- 23:13Speaker 1: to get those doors until either we get a contractor
- 23:16Speaker 1: or you know, we get paid for the doors. Now,
- 23:18Speaker 1: what could happen is you could pay for the doors. No, no, no,
- 23:21Speaker 1: already paid for the doors, and that's that's that's past tense.
- 23:24Speaker 1: I've done that, paid you Saint. Paying that means I
- 23:27Speaker 1: got a double back. Well, sir, we haven't been paid,
- 23:30Speaker 1: sir for the doors. Well, no, no, no, the contractor
- 23:33Speaker 1: was paid for the doors. That's who paid you. Okay,
- 23:37Speaker 1: And what I'm trying to explain to you, sir, we
- 23:39Speaker 1: haven't been paid at all here at doors? Now at all?
- 23:43Speaker 1: Oh okay, well at do it? They should have received
- 23:47Speaker 1: a check from my contract and misleading you, sir, is
- 23:51Speaker 1: that that hasn't been done since you have not been paid.
- 23:54Speaker 1: You're gonna come back and get my doors out, you said?
- 23:56Speaker 1: We Now, who's all this? You? And who are gonna come?
- 23:59Speaker 1: Here's the problem here? Like, no, no, there ain't no problems.
- 24:01Speaker 1: We're gonna we're gonna resolve this very peacefully. But who
- 24:05Speaker 1: is it? Okay? So what's taking place here? My job
- 24:07Speaker 1: is they've taken this money out of my check that
- 24:10Speaker 1: hasn't been paid for the doors. Oh yes, I can
- 24:13Speaker 1: understand that. But why would they take it out of
- 24:15Speaker 1: your check? You did the man hours, you, you've done
- 24:17Speaker 1: your work. Why don't understand it? Sir? But since the
- 24:20Speaker 1: company hasn't been paid, the company is taking it out
- 24:22Speaker 1: on me and it's not gonna come down on me.
- 24:24Speaker 1: So either I'm gonna get the doors. Well, you need
- 24:27Speaker 1: to quit your job because they ain't gonna because they
- 24:29Speaker 1: need to give you a not just give you a bonus,
- 24:31Speaker 1: but give you some only work. Because bottom line is,
- 24:34Speaker 1: you're talking about the company to get my doors. No,
- 24:36Speaker 1: that's not gonna happen. Either we resolve this peacefully as
- 24:39Speaker 1: if you paid for it, or I come out and
- 24:41Speaker 1: get the doors and I'm not fin the city and
- 24:43Speaker 1: go back. You need to go in and come get
- 24:46Speaker 1: these doors. Gas up and come get these doors. Because
- 24:48Speaker 1: you're not gonna come and get this. I'm not gonna
- 24:50Speaker 1: send you no money, okay, sir. Then then then what
- 24:52Speaker 1: we need to do is get a schedule time where
- 24:54Speaker 1: I can come out and get all the doors. I'm
- 24:56Speaker 1: on your time. I'm sorry, I'm on your time now.
- 24:58Speaker 1: So you got you must be paid and me not.
- 25:00Speaker 1: Since I'm on your time, what are you talking about?
- 25:03Speaker 1: Because you're talking about you're gonna set up a time
- 25:05Speaker 1: with me. That means I have to leave and do
- 25:07Speaker 1: what I do to be meet you here to get
- 25:09Speaker 1: something don't belong to you, which is my door. So
- 25:11Speaker 1: you don't have to be there at all, because I'm
- 25:13Speaker 1: gonna I'm gonna come in and take the front door off,
- 25:16Speaker 1: and I'm gonna keep keep moving through the house and
- 25:17Speaker 1: get all the doors and get them back here to
- 25:20Speaker 1: the player. I don't think you hear yourself now first
- 25:22Speaker 1: and for almost how you when you come to the
- 25:24Speaker 1: front door, I'm gonna be without waiting on you as
- 25:25Speaker 1: you as you taking off last, I'm gonna be on
- 25:28Speaker 1: your behind making sure you realize you're gonna have to
- 25:31Speaker 1: take this door or take this And I'm thinking, I'm
- 25:33Speaker 1: pretty sure I'm gonna coming to you and you get
- 25:36Speaker 1: that first door, so I can't keep going back and
- 25:38Speaker 1: forth with you. Let me say this to you. I'm
- 25:39Speaker 1: coming to get them doors, even if I gotta take
- 25:42Speaker 1: a because I gotta get my money back from the
- 25:44Speaker 1: company that they that took from me because you damn
- 25:46Speaker 1: contractor did not pay for the damn doors. Hey, you better, Hey,
- 25:50Speaker 1: bringing your tones down when you talk to me. You're
- 25:52Speaker 1: talking to him. Go man, I'm gonna I'm gonna put
- 25:55Speaker 1: this on you. I'm not gonna allowing you to come
- 25:57Speaker 1: to my house and take these damn doors, and you
- 25:59Speaker 1: ain't only getting no money. I'm coming to get them
- 26:02Speaker 1: doors that I'm coming to get them today. I need
- 26:04Speaker 1: every what time you're coming. I want to even paid
- 26:08Speaker 1: when you come next with these doors, because I make so.
- 26:10Speaker 1: Please what kind you're coming, don't don't worry about when
- 26:13Speaker 1: I'm coming. You don't know what I'm there. When I
- 26:14Speaker 1: take the first door off the heads every door we're
- 26:18Speaker 1: gonna meet at that door, and what that and tell
- 26:20Speaker 1: you what I'm gonna pay you. I don't paying dollar equipment.
- 26:24Speaker 1: Now take that check and gonna take that inside whooping
- 26:26Speaker 1: the night. I'm gonna take that hopping if that's what
- 26:28Speaker 1: it take. But I gotta take this door. You want
- 26:30Speaker 1: to get my money I mean to do next time,
- 26:33Speaker 1: get your damn money stop, get a jar to pay
- 26:36Speaker 1: you better for this equipment. You're gonna get it in
- 26:38Speaker 1: fed well, I'm not sure. I'm not gonna keep going
- 26:41Speaker 1: back and forth with you about you whooping by any more.
- 26:44Speaker 1: That is the end rain. And take that wipment and
- 26:47Speaker 1: take it on hold. But I'm bringing them doors to
- 26:49Speaker 1: every door. You should have been calling a contract killing
- 26:56Speaker 1: doors some dough from from my damn come. No, I'm
- 26:58Speaker 1: telling you what. You don't need to be calling him.
- 27:00Speaker 1: He got me to get every though you got in
- 27:03Speaker 1: that home number. Tell you what you know what I do.
- 27:06Speaker 1: I just want do you go to work? Bring me?
- 27:08Speaker 1: I just coming and get them does like a junior.
- 27:12Speaker 1: I wan't wait a second now. I just told you
- 27:14Speaker 1: you ain't coming to getting the doors. I just got
- 27:17Speaker 1: to telling you that, junior, get it from your mama
- 27:20Speaker 1: running them doing it? And you know what else I'm
- 27:23Speaker 1: coming to do what I'm coming to tell you? Who
- 27:26Speaker 1: I am? You do you know who I am? You
- 27:29Speaker 1: don't I know who you are working. I'm make sure
- 27:32Speaker 1: I just does myself. You won't come get it. I
- 27:36Speaker 1: can't get these doors. There ain't man, he ain't that.
- 27:38Speaker 1: It ain't really who I am? But who are you?
- 27:42Speaker 1: I am nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 28:37Speaker 1: if just hating for them again, it's just thank for
- 28:41Speaker 1: what you already know. Well. You don't need them to
- 28:45Speaker 1: know how good you are. More than just continuous need
- 28:52Speaker 1: for praise has gotten on you of our nerves. April
- 28:57Speaker 1: sixteen through the eighteen started stupid coming your wife, go bird,

- 29:16Speaker 1: Dash said that she's through with politics now and she's
- 29:19Speaker 1: even apologized for being Donald Trump's supporter. Okay, Stacy did
- 29:24Speaker 1: an interview, Yeah, she wants to come back. Stacy did
- 29:27Speaker 1: an interview with Daily Mail and she said she's no
- 29:32Speaker 1: longer working with Fox News. Remember back in twenty sixteen,
- 29:37Speaker 1: Stacy was fired from Fox after she said President Obama
- 29:41Speaker 1: didn't give a sugar honey iced tea about terrorism. Stacy
- 29:44Speaker 1: also said she was hired by Fox to be the
- 29:47Speaker 1: angry conservative black woman. She also apologized for things she said.
- 29:52Speaker 1: She apologized for being angry too. Stacy went on to
- 29:55Speaker 1: say the riots as a capital was the last straw
- 29:58Speaker 1: for her, and now she urges conservatives to give the
- 30:02Speaker 1: new president a chance. The black community is closed right
- 30:07Speaker 1: now because what happened one due to COVID. Somebody over
- 30:11Speaker 1: there called her black in the derogatory sense. Total it
- 30:16Speaker 1: was And now you got to come on back. All
- 30:19Speaker 1: of this stuff was happening before they tried to climb
- 30:21Speaker 1: over the wall at the Capitol. Yeah, that's when you
- 30:24Speaker 1: got up, because up you if that's what it took. Yeah, damn.
- 30:31Speaker 1: How long was they ranging the bell before you heard it? Right?
- 30:36Speaker 1: And so now I'm sorry, you know, but it's cool.
- 30:39Speaker 1: You can be sorry. I don't care. But I tell
- 30:41Speaker 1: people all the time about the bridges. Man, gotta be
- 30:45Speaker 1: careful about crossing over crossing. Yeah, someone set on social
- 30:50Speaker 1: media that they'll trade Stacy Dash for Prince Harry. Oh
- 30:55Speaker 1: god dog. But the other prob them is it happens
- 31:01Speaker 1: to all the blacks that go on that side. You
- 31:03Speaker 1: get a net real wake up call when you get
- 31:05Speaker 1: that wake up call. That's when you realize, Oh, I
- 31:08Speaker 1: should have been on the other side. Oh I'm black.
- 31:14Speaker 1: I'm black. No body came to her rescue, not now
- 31:21Speaker 1: time now, not one Fox person. Wasn't no blog save Stacy.
- 31:32Speaker 1: I've seen some Saved Free Brittany blogs and all of that,
- 31:36Speaker 1: but no stay save Stacy. More Black people like the
- 31:41Speaker 1: Queen and they like Stacy Dash So I mean, yeah, yeah,
- 31:49Speaker 1: well I know, I know Tim Scott ain't laughing because
- 31:52Speaker 1: you got one coming to partner. It's coming on the wind.
- 31:56Speaker 1: But it's st Yeah. And In other entertainment news, unnamed
- 32:04Speaker 1: sources are running their moths once more about the latest
- 32:07Speaker 1: Kanye drama. Page six reports that Easy is broken off
- 32:11Speaker 1: direct contact with Kim Kardashian after she filed for divorce
- 32:15Speaker 1: last month. He apparently told us soon to be ex
- 32:17Speaker 1: wife that if she needs to get in touch, she
- 32:20Speaker 1: can go through his security. H Despite, just go through
- 32:25Speaker 1: my security, okay, if you need to get in touch
- 32:27Speaker 1: with me. Despite this, they are apparently still working together
- 32:31Speaker 1: to co parent their four kids. A source claims that
- 32:34Speaker 1: they have an arrangement where he comes to visit the
- 32:37Speaker 1: kids when she's away from home, so they have a
- 32:40Speaker 1: good arrangement. But though, yeah, the kids are too young.
- 32:50Speaker 1: If they were older kids, you could do that. But
- 32:52Speaker 1: when you have young children, you have to talk to
- 32:54Speaker 1: each other. Yeah, we are talking about Kanye West. Okay, okay, well,
- 32:59Speaker 1: may I remind you all right? Time for today's headline, Steve,
- 33:04Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, Miss Anne True. Okay, here we go.
- 33:08Speaker 1: Good morning everyone, This is answered put the news. President
- 33:10Speaker 1: Biden delivered his first primetime national address last night, and
- 33:14Speaker 1: on what was the one year anniversary of the World
- 33:16Speaker 1: Health Organization's official announcement that the COVID nineteen was a pandemic.
- 33:20Speaker 1: The president says that beating the virus depends on national unity.
- 33:24Speaker 1: He says he's unleashing a wartime effort to get all
- 33:27Speaker 1: adults in the country vaccinated by May first, hopefully, and
- 33:30Speaker 1: mister Biden issued a promise, or should I say I
- 33:32Speaker 1: hope by July the fourth, there's a good chance you,
- 33:36Speaker 1: your families and friends, we'll be able to get together
- 33:39Speaker 1: in your backyard or in your neighborhood and have a
- 33:41Speaker 1: cookout and a barbecue and celebrate Independence Day. That doesn't
- 33:45Speaker 1: mean large events, but it does mean small groups will
- 33:49Speaker 1: be able to get together after this long, hard year.
- 33:52Speaker 1: That will make this independence day something truly special, where
- 33:56Speaker 1: we not only mark our independence as a nation, we'd
- 33:59Speaker 1: be end demark are independence from this virus will crush
- 34:03Speaker 1: your fingers in prey the fab four. Meanwhile, ex Presidents Obama, Bush, Clinton,
- 34:07Speaker 1: and Jimmy Carter, not Donald Trump, who wasn't part of this,
- 34:11Speaker 1: they're helping to encourage people to get vaccinated. In their way.

- 34:17Speaker 1: This vaccine meansful. It will protect you and those you
- 34:21Speaker 1: love from this dangerous and deadly disease. You know what
- 34:23Speaker 1: I'm really looking forward to is going the opening day
- 34:26Speaker 1: in Texas Rangers Stadium with a full stadium. We've lost enough,
- 34:30Speaker 1: which suffered enough damage in order to get rid of
- 34:33Speaker 1: this pandemic. It's important for our fellow citizens to get vaccinated.
- 34:38Speaker 1: I'm getting vaccinated. We called we won't just end as
- 34:41Speaker 1: soon as possible, So we urge you to get vaccinated

- 34:52Speaker 1: the new COVID stimulus bill into law yesterday. By the way,
- 34:56Speaker 1: later today is going to be the big ceremony where
- 34:58Speaker 1: both Democrats and Republican law kers are invited to the
- 35:01Speaker 1: White House as the President officially unveils the bill to
- 35:03Speaker 1: the American public. Much of the prosecution's delight. A judge
- 35:07Speaker 1: in Minneapolis reinstated a third degree murder charge against x
- 35:11Speaker 1: cop Derek Chauvin for the killing of mister George Floyd.
- 35:13Speaker 1: Chauvin now faces second and third degree murder as well
- 35:16Speaker 1: as man solder chargers. The addition of the third degree charge, Folks,
- 35:20Speaker 1: gives the jury yet another way to find the fired
- 35:22Speaker 1: white cop guilty of slowly strangling an unarmed and handcuffed man.
- 35:27Speaker 1: By the way, as of yesterday there was six jurors selected.
- 35:30Speaker 1: Will Smith says he's been called the N word to
- 35:32Speaker 1: his face five or six times, but he says he'd
- 35:34Speaker 1: never buy a smart person. He says that because of
- 35:37Speaker 1: that he grew up with the impression that racists and
- 35:39Speaker 1: racism was stupid. And finally, the new Jeep grand chair
- 35:43Speaker 1: of Wagoner of his coming out. So Wagoner, it's going
- 35:45Speaker 1: for close to one hundred thousand dollars, gibe and take it. Away.
- 35:50Speaker 1: I don't even have the money to Lord Gibbeth. Now
- 35:53Speaker 1: back to the Steve Harvey Boarding Show. You're listening to
- 35:56Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve, come on, it's

- 36:08Speaker 1: celebrate Women's History Month, Is that right? Am? I correct?
- 36:12Speaker 1: As we celebrate Women's History Month, I'd like to honor
- 36:17Speaker 1: the women who've given us great sayings that have been
- 36:20Speaker 1: passed down through the centuries. These are great sayings by women,
- 36:25Speaker 1: and I'm honoring the women. Dave hit the music, please
- 36:27Speaker 1: give me that music please. With the saying that came
- 36:35Speaker 1: from a woman that we honored. We don't know when
- 36:37Speaker 1: it was said, but we know said, Oh you think
- 36:40Speaker 1: I'm stupid, don't you? Thank you? Women who ever said that,
- 36:45Speaker 1: Thank you, Yes, thank you. We honor you for that.
- 36:52Speaker 1: For the lady who gave us the saying, the lady
- 36:54Speaker 1: who gave us the saying. Since you like your mama's
- 36:57Speaker 1: cooking so well, damn it, why don't you go to
- 37:00Speaker 1: your mama house and let hook cook you something. We
- 37:04Speaker 1: honor you yea, my Shira, thank you, thank you, thank you.
- 37:12Speaker 1: This goes back to the eighteen hundred Steve. This is
- 37:15Speaker 1: great when when Wilhelmina said to Jedda Diet. Wilhelmina said
- 37:19Speaker 1: to Jedda Diet, we honor you for the saying, oh
- 37:23Speaker 1: you picking cotton at twelve o'clock at night. Okay, all right, yeah, okay, okay,
- 37:31Speaker 1: oh I see what you Yeah, I'm I'm also this
- 37:36Speaker 1: first of all times the phrase came in you think

- 37:42Speaker 1: we're gonna go back to the cave man time. We
- 37:45Speaker 1: don't know who said this, but we know it was said.
- 37:50Speaker 1: I need to know because you need to tell me
- 37:53Speaker 1: whose leopard skin that was in your cave, because the
- 37:57Speaker 1: damn show don't fit me. Okay, tell me something. Whooses
- 38:01Speaker 1: that you got lipskin in your cave? Whose is it? Okay? Yeah,
- 38:07Speaker 1: he's a great sins Great sins by women. Adaxander Graham Bell,
- 38:15Speaker 1: Alexander Graham's Bell wife said to him the man who
- 38:19Speaker 1: invented the telephone. She said, who you talk to? Alexander?
- 38:23Speaker 1: He said, Watson. She said, I don't know damn Watson
- 38:26Speaker 1: as fuzz I'm concerned you're the only one with a
- 38:29Speaker 1: damn phone. But every time I come down here, your
- 38:32Speaker 1: ass on the phone. Who you talking? Who the are
- 38:36Speaker 1: you talking to? Who the hell you? Every time I
- 38:39Speaker 1: come in the room, you're on the phone. But you're
- 38:41Speaker 1: the only one with the phone. Last one, last one,
- 38:47Speaker 1: the last one. Day said to Eve. You know, you
- 38:53Speaker 1: do know, Adam said, Eve, you do know you're not
- 38:56Speaker 1: my daddy and you're not the only apple on the tree. Okay,
- 38:59Speaker 1: you do know that. Do it by women? We honor them. Jay,
- 39:10Speaker 1: We'll be back right after this. You're listening to the
- 39:13Speaker 1: Steven Show. We all know the French cartoon character skunk
- 39:18Speaker 1: Peppe Lapew. You know he's always in the quest for love,
- 39:22Speaker 1: but his aggressive pursuit caused characters to run from him. Well,
- 39:28Speaker 1: Peppi has been cut from Warner Brothers movie Space Jam,
- 39:31Speaker 1: a new Legacy which starts Lebron James. New York Times
- 39:35Speaker 1: columnists Charles Blow wrote a peace stating that the character
- 39:39Speaker 1: normalized rape culture. The article was written right around the
- 39:43Speaker 1: same time those Doctor Seuss books were banned for racism.
- 39:47Speaker 1: Some are saying Peppi Lapu needs to be canceled because
- 39:51Speaker 1: every time a female character fought back against Peppi Lapu,
- 39:55Speaker 1: he would misinterpret it as a sign of interest. We
- 40:00Speaker 1: all remember Peppy lape yeahs anymore, you can't do it anymore,
- 40:06Speaker 1: you just can't. And you know who mentioned this, Steve.
- 40:09Speaker 1: Remember Dave Chappelle said that on stage. He did, he
- 40:12Speaker 1: bought it. He said, if you watched this cartoon, Peppy Lapew,
- 40:16Speaker 1: you would cringe now. But don't don't stop with Peppy Lapew.
- 40:20Speaker 1: Don't stop then, don't stop. There's other ones where Oh yeah,
- 40:24Speaker 1: there's other one like Porky the pig ain't had on
- 40:27Speaker 1: pans since I've known his ass. I mean he got
- 40:31Speaker 1: on the jacket and a ship in a boat hat
- 40:34Speaker 1: and some high, huge sal damn pans. That an thank you,
- 40:41Speaker 1: thank you, hey Jake, some type of gender that's upset
- 40:46Speaker 1: about that thank you Steve, all that, honey, But he
- 40:50Speaker 1: ain't got my pants, just a red shirt that no pans. Also, Jay,
- 40:58Speaker 1: Next on the chopping block could be the care of
- 41:00Speaker 1: Speedy Gonzales, you know the Mexican mouse people. Right what
- 41:09Speaker 1: you thought? What he's pushing his sister on people? That's
- 41:13Speaker 1: almost pimping if you ask me that we're not gonna
- 41:18Speaker 1: have no damn cartoon plean my damn cartoons alone. Next thing,
- 41:22Speaker 1: you know, they're gonna take Wide and Kyoty off from
- 41:24Speaker 1: the road running called here murderer. Hell, oh my god,
- 41:34Speaker 1: got video games out this grand theft auto. Have you
- 41:37Speaker 1: seen this? And now y'all want to take these cartoons off. Man,
- 41:42Speaker 1: come on, you know what, man, I'm not with all
- 41:45Speaker 1: of this because this political correctness. Look, man, this is
- 41:49Speaker 1: not what has turned this world into the fallen world
- 41:52Speaker 1: that it is. It's this new modern stuff we're doing.
- 41:56Speaker 1: You know, all your games where you kill people and
- 41:58Speaker 1: you get a pellet and you come back, Well, when
- 42:00Speaker 1: you kill a person in real life, that ain't high work.
- 42:03Speaker 1: All video games are still from violence. You know all
- 42:07Speaker 1: this shit stuff And ain't peppular punim ain't done nothing.
- 42:10Speaker 1: You'll send me this sound? So what does he because
- 42:13Speaker 1: he got two girls, he promote burglar, ain't nobody saying nothing.
- 42:18Speaker 1: And one of your favorites, Steve Falkon Leger and the rooster,
- 42:22Speaker 1: Oh now heal bullet for kicking the dog. Say, oh boy,
- 42:27Speaker 1: I'll say, oh say, I'll say son cartoons from back
- 42:32Speaker 1: in you know, it's just a matter of time they
- 42:34Speaker 1: get rid of U. Is it dapny duck? And they
- 42:38Speaker 1: bet not, They bet not get rid of dads. But
- 42:42Speaker 1: he was the first black on TV I ever saw.
- 42:45Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying that what's gonna get rid of
- 42:48Speaker 1: the blackna be? Yeah, you can shoot his ass and
- 42:53Speaker 1: right back you gonna make it signs nasty black Dutch
- 42:57Speaker 1: matter because he gonna be Dons get shot at his
- 43:03Speaker 1: beauty stealing matter. Well, what happened with Speedy? Well, oh okay,
- 43:15Speaker 1: you want to hear the rest of the story. Well,
- 43:16Speaker 1: Speedy Gonzalez might be on the chopping block because of
- 43:19Speaker 1: his depiction of the stereotype of a drunk and lethargic
- 43:23Speaker 1: or lazy Mexican. However, m Gabriela Iglesias, the actor who
- 43:27Speaker 1: voices Speedy Gonzalez in the movie, tweeted, cancel culture can't
- 43:31Speaker 1: catch me. I'm the fastest mouse in Mexico. Some are
- 43:35Speaker 1: saying that maybe cancel culture should be a teaching culture
- 43:39Speaker 1: and change the narrative. Now that's a good idea. Listen
- 43:42Speaker 1: to me, Listen to teaching moment way too far. Listen
- 43:46Speaker 1: to me getting rid of speedy Gonzalez ain't gonna change
- 43:49Speaker 1: a damn thing. It's not gonna change a single damn
- 43:55Speaker 1: thing Donald Trump and the way they feel about that
- 43:59Speaker 1: has nothing to do with a damn cartoon. Well, we
- 44:03Speaker 1: gotta go. Food for thought. Coming up next to nephew
- 44:06Speaker 1: with today's prank phone call right after this. You're listening
- 44:10Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at the top of
- 44:14Speaker 1: the hour, right about four minutes after today's Strawberry letter.

- 44:23Speaker 1: That is the subject. But right now the nephew is

- 45:14Speaker 1: pick up. Excellent, young welcome. And how many more weeks
- 45:17Speaker 1: of training out there? I will say probably about another
- 45:20Speaker 1: week or two, or we let him, you know, put
- 45:22Speaker 1: put him on his own. Okay, and you think he'll
- 45:24Speaker 1: handle it efficiently? Oh? Yes, I think he would be
- 45:27Speaker 1: a great great employees. Okay, you've been with the company.
- 45:30Speaker 1: How long? Uh, going on about seventeen years? Yeah, my

- 45:38Speaker 1: seventeen Okay, you've been with us quite a while. And
- 45:41Speaker 1: first of all, let you know we're grateful of you,
- 45:43Speaker 1: of the work that you're putting in. Oh man, I
- 45:45Speaker 1: appreciate a man made man. I appreciate it to have
- 45:48Speaker 1: the company, man, and you know, being here to eat
- 45:50Speaker 1: many years man. He Let you know, man, I love

- 45:55Speaker 1: gonna be making out there on the plan. Here's what
- 45:58Speaker 1: we're gonna do. Now you say you're gonna be done
- 46:01Speaker 1: in about a week or two. Yes, okay, here's here's
- 46:05Speaker 1: what we're gonna do on that particular day that he
- 46:07Speaker 1: gets released. And you you, you definitely know he's ready
- 46:10Speaker 1: for everything. Um, I'm gonna want you to give him
- 46:13Speaker 1: your key card as well as the key to your office.
- 46:20Speaker 1: I'm gonna want you to give him your key card
- 46:22Speaker 1: that gets you actually onto the property. And and you
- 46:25Speaker 1: have you have your own parking space too, don't you? Yes,
- 46:29Speaker 1: I do. Okay, Now we're gonna need you to give
- 46:32Speaker 1: it your key card in your office key and um, well,
- 46:36Speaker 1: we'll find you another place to park. He's actually probably
- 46:38Speaker 1: gonna be parking in your space. Hold hold, what you mean?
- 46:41Speaker 1: You're telling me to give him my key parking right,
- 46:44Speaker 1: parking space, but your key card to get you onto
- 46:48Speaker 1: the property, a little electrical card there right as well
- 46:52Speaker 1: as your office. He's gonna actually be taking over as
- 46:55Speaker 1: project manager. No, no, sir, I'm not giving up nothing
- 46:59Speaker 1: so nobody could think over the pocket managing. Let's let's
- 47:02Speaker 1: first of all said, let's do this. Let's stone the
- 47:04Speaker 1: language down. Okay, we're gonna find a place for you,
- 47:06Speaker 1: but for the time being, we're gonna put you back
- 47:09Speaker 1: in until we find find no game. I'll find a
- 47:11Speaker 1: place of me, my place with man. Right now, I'm
- 47:14Speaker 1: not moving from nowhere, that's all, Okay. I'm not getting
- 47:17Speaker 1: into to fign me nothing. I got seventeen years op
- 47:21Speaker 1: Ain't nobody said to find me, not a place to move.
- 47:25Speaker 1: You got to understand that part down. I got seventeen
- 47:27Speaker 1: years up in here and chain a young guy and
- 47:29Speaker 1: this guy got a couple of months, and you're telling
- 47:31Speaker 1: me the other one to do what to me? Move me, Jason,
- 47:33Speaker 1: this is a temporary move. We're gonna find something better
- 47:36Speaker 1: for you. No, you ain't know what this is the project.
- 47:39Speaker 1: Ain't no movie. Got that understanding. This has come from
- 47:42Speaker 1: the head, and on the head head is I know,
- 47:46Speaker 1: the head of people. This decision actually has come from
- 47:48Speaker 1: the vice president. No, they ain't told me none of that.
- 47:50Speaker 1: It comes to me first. I'll tell you what, Jason,
- 47:52Speaker 1: this is something I'm supposed to probably not tell you.
- 47:54Speaker 1: But let me let me let you in on a
- 47:55Speaker 1: little something, let me hand on something, because this is
- 47:58Speaker 1: gonna be some bull him because I shut the whole
- 48:00Speaker 1: place up out him. And I mean, let me explain
- 48:02Speaker 1: something to you, Jason. This young guy that you've been training.
- 48:05Speaker 1: He's actually the nephew of the vice president. I don't
- 48:08Speaker 1: give a about no neshew or no vice president. Man,
- 48:11Speaker 1: do you think I care about some president telling him?
- 48:13Speaker 1: Tell the president I said what I said? Yeah, man,
- 48:16Speaker 1: the next you who care about the nephew? They ain't
- 48:18Speaker 1: never told me? How well? Can I expect you to
- 48:21Speaker 1: give your key over to him? Oh? Hell no, I
- 48:23Speaker 1: ain't getting nobody nothing. Definitely get the law to come
- 48:26Speaker 1: and get it. Ain't nobody getting nothing. I ain't leaving.
- 48:28Speaker 1: How that sounds. So all I can ask you for
- 48:30Speaker 1: is I need your key card, and I need the
- 48:32Speaker 1: key to your office. I need you to empty out
- 48:34Speaker 1: your things so we can move Victor in there and
- 48:38Speaker 1: you a place. This is just a temporary slot right now. No,
- 48:41Speaker 1: you them all ain't nobody getting nothing saying okay, I've
- 48:46Speaker 1: been here. I tell you what I gonna do. I
- 48:48Speaker 1: go out there and I tempt slap this who love something, okay,
- 48:51Speaker 1: and then I find out who it volts or whoever
- 48:53Speaker 1: the nest the vols to beach and kick him because
- 48:55Speaker 1: I ain't giving up nothing. And I'm talking about job
- 48:58Speaker 1: y'all with the wrong one, okay, with the wrong one
- 49:01Speaker 1: at this time. Because you're talking about beating the vice
- 49:05Speaker 1: president's nephew. You're you're you're losing control here, Uh, Jason, No,
- 49:09Speaker 1: I ain't losing nothing. I'm gonna think control. I'm gonna
- 49:11Speaker 1: lose and when I kick how that sounds? And I'm
- 49:13Speaker 1: gonna kick the boat to see you? All of them?
- 49:16Speaker 1: How that sounds? That makes sound clear to you? It
- 49:18Speaker 1: makes sense. We're trying to just give you someplace to
- 49:21Speaker 1: be temporarily until I find you another slot. Ain't no
- 49:24Speaker 1: other blots my slot, my slot. I'm gonna kick it
- 49:28Speaker 1: gives rat not how that sound to you? Turn All
- 49:34Speaker 1: I'm asking is I need your key card and I
- 49:36Speaker 1: need the key to the office. Get all your things
- 49:38Speaker 1: out so I can get Victor moved in within the
- 49:40Speaker 1: next week. Ain't no key's Okay, all of them, I
- 49:43Speaker 1: don't give a how that sounds. I don't care nothing
- 49:46Speaker 1: about them. Okay, because I see you and maybe somebody
- 49:49Speaker 1: out here today. Okay, I'm tired of it and this
- 49:51Speaker 1: ain't gonna happen to me. I'm gonna get security to
- 49:54Speaker 1: come over and walk you out. Okay. No, ain't no
- 49:56Speaker 1: security for to walk me no where how that sounds.
- 49:58Speaker 1: I came here, ain't buy myself. Ain't nobody to walk
- 50:01Speaker 1: me about the end? Are you having problems moving out
- 50:03Speaker 1: for the nephew? The nephew okay, the nephew is not
- 50:06Speaker 1: gonna come in here. Take Okay, there's another that you
- 50:10Speaker 1: need to be aware of. Do you know who the
- 50:11Speaker 1: other nephew is? Hell no, I ain't never seen no
- 50:14Speaker 1: other nephew. I ain't know that wasn't nephew. Let me
- 50:16Speaker 1: tell you who the other one is? Who who the
- 50:17Speaker 1: other one is? The other one is the nephew taught

- 53:51Speaker 1: gonna read this one right here, right now. That's for you. Jay,
- 53:55Speaker 1: buckle up and hold on tight. We got it for
- 53:57Speaker 1: you here. It is the Strawberry letter subject. He's mine sometimes,
- 54:02Speaker 1: but he belongs to her. Dear Stephen Shirley. I've been
- 54:05Speaker 1: friends with a great guy for three years and we
- 54:08Speaker 1: have become the best of friends with the best sexual chemistry.
- 54:12Speaker 1: Our sex is off the chain. He dates other women,
- 54:15Speaker 1: but he's always said that he wouldn't get in a
- 54:18Speaker 1: relationship without letting me meet the female and giving him
- 54:22Speaker 1: my blessing. We never talked about us being in a relationship,
- 54:25Speaker 1: so I gave up hope. Early on, he found out
- 54:28Speaker 1: I was dating a guy once and he got very
- 54:31Speaker 1: upset and wouldn't answer my calls for a whole week.
- 54:34Speaker 1: I didn't want to mess up our friendship, so I
- 54:36Speaker 1: broke up with the guy. A few days later, he
- 54:39Speaker 1: called me and said he really needed to talk to me.
- 54:42Speaker 1: He told me that he's met someone and it feels
- 54:45Speaker 1: right like she might be the one for him. My
- 54:47Speaker 1: heart sank and my feelings came out of nowhere. Then
- 54:51Speaker 1: I realized that I love this man. Instead of telling
- 54:55Speaker 1: him I was hurt, I told him that I supported
- 54:57Speaker 1: him and couldn't wait to meet her. That evening, he
- 55:00Speaker 1: came over and we had sex. I cried while we
- 55:05Speaker 1: had sex because I had decided that would be the
- 55:07Speaker 1: last time we're intimate. We were intimate. I told him
- 55:12Speaker 1: that we couldn't have sex anymore, and he agreed that
- 55:15Speaker 1: it would be awkward for me whenever his girlfriend is around.
- 55:19Speaker 1: Fast forward to a week ago. I met his new
- 55:21Speaker 1: girlfriend at his house. She's cute and seems like she's
- 55:25Speaker 1: very sweet. She helped him cook dinner, and whenever she
- 55:29Speaker 1: wasn't looking, he rubbed on my butt or squeezed my breasts.
- 55:34Speaker 1: He tasted me that he couldn't wait to taste me.
- 55:37Speaker 1: As soon as his girlfriend left, we had sex. We
- 55:40Speaker 1: are addicted to each other sexually, he said. Even though
- 55:44Speaker 1: he's with her, his body will always crave mine. I
- 55:48Speaker 1: don't want to be the number two woman in his life,
- 55:51Speaker 1: but I need him. How can I break this cycle
- 55:54Speaker 1: with him? Please help? He's never yours anytime, and never
- 56:01Speaker 1: has been period. Okay, never has been. This letter is
- 56:07Speaker 1: just very sad to me. It's very sad and it's pitiful.
- 56:11Speaker 1: I mean, I'm sorry that you can't see that you're
- 56:13Speaker 1: being used and this has nothing to do with the
- 56:16Speaker 1: so called friendship. You think you have with him. You
- 56:19Speaker 1: are just allowing this man to have his way with
- 56:21Speaker 1: you whenever and wherever he wants, while he, on the
- 56:25Speaker 1: other hand, can dump you when he gets a new
- 56:27Speaker 1: woman in his life. Then he expects you to fall back,
- 56:32Speaker 1: which you do all under the guise of a so
- 56:36Speaker 1: called friendship. Who wants a friend like this? And if
- 56:39Speaker 1: that's the case, why can't you do the same? He
- 56:42Speaker 1: got mad? Remember when you had a man and didn't
- 56:45Speaker 1: talk to you for a whole week. You broke up
- 56:48Speaker 1: with someone who could have treated you way better than
- 56:51Speaker 1: this guy because of him. I mean, you're just a
- 56:54Speaker 1: sex toy at this point, and you're available at his
- 56:57Speaker 1: back and call. That's not cool. He's using you. This
- 57:00Speaker 1: is not love, it is lust, and surely you want
- 57:04Speaker 1: better for yourself. I say, cut him off. Now. How
- 57:07Speaker 1: do you break this cycle with him? You asked? Stop
- 57:10Speaker 1: answering his call, Stop letting him touch you. Stop you
- 57:13Speaker 1: know this is your body. He's touching you so inappropriately.
- 57:17Speaker 1: And most of all, get yourself some new friends, okay,
- 57:20Speaker 1: some real friends, so you can see the difference in
- 57:23Speaker 1: real friends and what this guy is offering you. Steve
- 57:28Speaker 1: everything that Shirley just said, it's one thousand percent truth.
- 57:35Speaker 1: I mean, it's all I can tell you. But you
- 57:41Speaker 1: what what what do you want me to say? Shirley
- 57:47Speaker 1: told you everything that you needed to hear. I really
- 57:51Speaker 1: I can't even add anything except the only thing I
- 57:55Speaker 1: can add is what's wrong with you? How you don't
- 57:58Speaker 1: see what he's doing? First of all, from the get goal,
- 58:05Speaker 1: you all calling yourself the best of friends with the
- 58:08Speaker 1: best sexual chemistry. So your friends with benefits the sex
- 58:13Speaker 1: is off the chain. Here's the next line that fixes
- 58:17Speaker 1: everything you need to know. He takes other women, but
- 58:21Speaker 1: he's always said that he wouldn't get in a relationship
- 58:25Speaker 1: without letting me meet the female and giving him my blessing.
- 58:28Speaker 1: What so that made him cool? He said he'd never
- 58:34Speaker 1: getting a relationship with another female without letting me meet
- 58:37Speaker 1: her and giving her a blessing. What you thank you, Finn?
- 58:39Speaker 1: To say? To stop him from seeing this girl? Girl?
- 58:44Speaker 1: That's game he got you, he or all he's doing
- 58:48Speaker 1: you is making you think that your second, third, fourth,
- 58:52Speaker 1: or fifth position that you hold has some type of
- 58:56Speaker 1: voting rights with it. I'm going date these other women,
- 59:01Speaker 1: but if I ever get into a relationship girl, he
- 59:08Speaker 1: in a relationship. Now, we never talked about us being
- 59:11Speaker 1: a relationship, so I gave up hope early on. So
- 59:16Speaker 1: you all never discussed y'all being an item, so he
- 59:19Speaker 1: never counted you as an item, So you was just
- 59:22Speaker 1: another item. You got played. You saw the dating the
- 59:27Speaker 1: guy once he got upsetting with answer your calls for
- 59:30Speaker 1: a week. I didn't want to mess up our friendship?
- 59:33Speaker 1: What so I broke up with the guy. Really. Then
- 59:39Speaker 1: a few days later he called me and said he
- 59:41Speaker 1: really needed to talk to me. He told me that
- 59:43Speaker 1: he had met somebody and it feels right and she
- 59:45Speaker 1: might be the one for him. Hey, then guess what
- 59:49Speaker 1: happened to you? Your heart sank and your feelings came
- 59:52Speaker 1: out of nowhere. Then I realized I loved this man.
- 59:58Speaker 1: Oh god, you stupid lady. Come on down, Yeah, come
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: on really all this? And then instead of telling him
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: I was hurt, guess what you did? I told him
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: that I supported him and couldn't wait to meet her
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: when we come back. Lord him, Hold on, Steve, we'll
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: be back at twenty three minutes after be our subject.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: He's mine sometimes, but he belongs to her. Part two
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: of Steve's response right after this you're listening show all right,
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry Letters. Subject He's
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: mine sometimes, but he belongs to her. The title is wrong.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: You ain't got nothing right when dating. This man is
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: your friend. He dates other women. Y'all never discussed being
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: in a relationship. He told you, though, that you are
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: important to him and that if he ever starts dating
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: before he gets a relationship, he'll make you make sure
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: you meet it and get his blessing. This is all
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: set up. It saint nothing but to set up game.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: This man that poked you to see exactly how far
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: he could go with you. He didn't set you up
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: to see how much he can get away with you.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: And you passing all the tests. You even started dating
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: the guy. He got mad, So you broke up with
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: the guy because he was mad. He didn't call you
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: for a week. Then what he did call you, He
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: told you he'd have met somebody and he think you
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: feel right now. You didn't gave up somebody that could
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: have did you right, like Shirley said, But you know
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: already said y'all ain't got no shot in no relationship.
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: You said that at the top, and now you didn't
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: set up here and told me to dumb ass, thank
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: you to fell in love with him. Now, this is stupid.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: It don't make no sense. You just said y'all had
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: no shot of a relationship. He date other women. He
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: told you if he finds somebody, if it feel right,
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: he'll let you know he finds somebody. He told you
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: to feel right, and he want you to meet him.
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: Your hearts say, but instead of telling me that you
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: love him like you do, you told him you supported
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: him and couldn't wait to meet her. What you want
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: to meet a fault. After that evening he came over.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: We had some most sex. So wait a minute, I
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: can tell her that I got somebody else, that it
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: feel right, and don't think to go with her. But
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: I can still come over and have sex. He trying
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: everything with you, you passing all the tests. He can
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: get away with anything with you. I cried after we
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: had sex because I had decided that it would be
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: the last time we're into him. I did it wasn't.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: I told him that we couldn't have sex anymore, and
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: he agreed it'd be awkward for me after his girlfriends
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: around him. Well, fast forward a week ago, I met
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: his new girlfriend at his house. I don't know who
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: said this. This is cap now you you'd have met
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: his girlfriend in his house. She was cute. It seems
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: like she's very sweet. She helped him cook dinner, and
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: whenever she wasn't looking, he rubbed my butt or squeezed
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: my eyes some motests. Let me see if I can
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: be physically aggressive with her while this other one is around,
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: so I can keep on the hook and make her
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: think she's something to me while I had this real
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: relationship with this other woman, which ain't really real relationship either,
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: but I got game. He texts me that he couldn't
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: wait to taste me as soon as his girlfriend left.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: We had sex. You just crying the other night. You
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: just said it because it was the last time you
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: was gonna be intimate. Now you right after you cry.
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: One thing you need to do in this You need
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: to quit crying every time you. We are addicted to
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: each other sexually, he said, even though he's with her,
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: his body will always crave mine. I don't want to
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: be the number two woman in his life, but I
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: need him. How can I break this cycle with him?
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: Please help? You don't want to be the number two woman.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: You said he date other women. You ain't number two.
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: You one of many, and but you his favorite because
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: he can get away with anything with you. Listen to me,
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: he hasn't told all this to the other girls. And
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: you know how I know because that girl came over.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: That's his girlfriend, thinking y'all just friends, and while she
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: helping him cook, she had no idea he's screwing you,
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: feeling your breast and squeezing your booty. Why she ain't
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: looking at cooking. If he told that to everybody, he
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: would have told you in front of Hull. Hey, this
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: my side piece, this one an other women, I'm saying,
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: But he ain't told that to her. You're the only
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: one he telling it to. You're the only one falling
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: for the oky dog. How come he didn't introduce you
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: to his new girlfriend as his other woman? Why? Because
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: he can't get her to be his girlfriend if he
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: if she finds out he got you. You're the only
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: one going along with this. How do you stop? Stop Tommy,
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: stop being stuck on stupid? You did already let one
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: good man potentially get out your life and go because
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: you're hanging on to mister ron Well she stuck on Tommy,
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: he doesn't who is he trying to help? See? You
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: gotta understand when he talks, who is If somebody is
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: stuck in stupid and I can't get them, why don't
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: I capitalize on the stick because her that's immaterial. Tell
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: me that mean nothing? All right? Yeah, she just needs
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: to get whoa man? Come on, girl, Yes, that's why
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: I say this is just beautiful. Quick. Well, I don't
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: just I don't want to be making love and you crying.
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: That just kills the mood. All right, listen post your
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: comments on today's Strawberry Letters Steve Harvey FM on Instagram
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: and Facebook. Check out the Strawberry Letter podcast on demand.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: Coming up next. Forty six minutes after the hour, our
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: girl from the Talk, Cheryl Underwood. Right after this, you're
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, come on, Steve,
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: introduce our girl from the Talk, the one and only Cheryl.
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, without further a dude, Cheryl Underwood, Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, Yes,
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: let's skip all the pleasantries. We need all the time
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: to talk about this. I hope you don't mind. I
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: don't mind. You were trending. I want to get from
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: you how you felt about everything that occurred on the talk,
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: the whole position that you had with Pierce Morgan, How
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: did you feel about it? How did you feel about
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: sharing ass Ton's remarks, you know, and and everything. I'll
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: say it what I know, what I and and how
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: did you feel about it? And and and and how
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: are you just as my little sister, how are you? Well? Stay,
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you what, God loving, that's the truth.
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: I I I thought, I think that this is about discipline.
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: It's about restraint and being a better me, you know,
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: because you wake up every day, you know, and everybody, everybody,
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: especially people of color, go through this all the time.
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: There's just no cameras pointing at you. Nobody get to
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: see it, nobody to know it. And today was my day.
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: And I accept the blessing of the lesson. I accept
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: that because I thought, you know, with Pierce, you know,
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: because Pierce Morgan have been on the show before, been
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: on the Talk before, and I think one of the
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: last times he was on, I think it was being
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: skype or via zoom, and he said something about Megan
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: Marco and and I could have I think I believe
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: he said something about it's not about race, and I said,
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: yes it is, Yes, it is. It's about her being
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: black and that's why you're treating her like that. I
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: love you, but that you were you wrong for that
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: right there, And that was what I said. So in
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: thinking that, you know, because I watched the whole thing.
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: I watched the whole interview times and then I watched
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: it all and I could see their pain and what
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: they're feeling. And you know, we live a very very
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: good life. So the first thing I'm thinking that I'm
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: about to have a conversation on the show that I've
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: been on since season two. This is this is season eleven,
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: been there since ten years. I never thought in my
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: mind what what was going to happen? That this was
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: going to go left like this. I thought we were
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: just going to have a conversation. But I thank God,
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: I thank God for what the Lord let me see
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: and the conversations that are being had and the power
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: that's being coalesced, because the world needs to see what
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: people have to go through and that restraint and that
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: blessing words I can say right now is peace be still.
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: Because I had to fix my face calling and sherltt
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: right there, we're gonna come back. We're talking to Chryl
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: Underwood today. We'll be back with more Chryl Underwood from
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: the talk right after this. You're listening, all right, everybody,
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: we're back and we're talking with Chryl Underwood and her feelings.
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: And before we left, Chryl, you were saying, first of all,
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: let me say that all of us on the show
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: well beyond proud of the way you handled the situation.
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: We first of all thought you handled it masterfully. Yes, yes,
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: I mean just really really well, and you told the truth.
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: I did not appreciate sharing the ass torns the way
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: she came and talked about And you don't need to
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: be crying over that. I need to be wanting to
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: be crying. But you're crying for what anybody did nothing
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: to you. Ain't nobody saying nothing to you now just
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: because you want to run to the defensive Piers Morgan,
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: What Piers Morgan? The problem with solving racism is when
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: you know what you're doing, it's racist. Right. If she
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: were not black, we're not even having this damn conversation
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: about the baby, the raw family or nothing else. If
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: she was just a white girl. We ain't even having
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: this conversation. Ain'tybody gotta give open no interview? Right? This
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: is true? But see and then let me let me
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: just say this, hire y'all came on today, the day
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: after the whole thing, and ain't nobody bringing up the subject.
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: You want to know why? I think this just me
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: talking and nobody Sheryl ain't saying this, this Steve Harvey talking.
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: The reason nobody said nothing was because the firestorm that
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: came to your defense. I mean one thousand percent people
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: were behind the way you handle this, Sherill Ryl. And
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: they was eating up little Sharon ass torn all over
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: the all over the damn vogs and stuff. So now
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: they won't come in and squash it. Oh won't start
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: nothing right now. But the way you handle it and
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: the way you've even handling it, now, see, you better
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: than me, You better than me, all of us, Me
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: and Tommy, I'm Tanya and Junior. We had we had
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: a speech for the ads, but you still the class
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: at class and we want to commend you for that.
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: And the whole five beta sigma all all Z five
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: B need to be had their chess out for their sister,
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: because you represented extremely well, shrill and women in broadcasting,
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: black women, women in the struggle, all of that, sh
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: all of that, because we know if it was the
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: other way around. Oh yeah, well, I will tell you this.
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: I got calls from all over the world for people
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: that I was wondering, how did you find me? How
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: do you know me? I was getting prayers, I was
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: getting loved and and I want people to know this.
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: I believe that God was telling me I have a
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: plan for you. I am about to pour down a
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: blessing upon you. I just need to know are you ready,
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: because you will face this again, servant. I need to know,
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: are you ready? And I just wanted to be a
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: better example for people who are working just a regular
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: old job that had to compose themselves. And we are
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: the only race of people that carry the race with
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: us wherever we go, and we're responsible for that. And
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: I want to thank everybody all over the world on
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: social media, everybody in radio, television, news, everywhere, everybody that
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: reached out. What power you had to make me understand?
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: You have matured, Sheryl Underwood. You have matured because I
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: could have messed it up, could not the way you
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: handled it was perfect. Now listen to me all jokes aside.
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: I've always liked Sharon Osborne and Ossie. I've met him
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: personally a couple of times overseas. Really really every time
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: I've done this show really really kind people. But what
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: people have to understand and start being sensitive to is
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: you don't get to define for black people what racism
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: is and how we all to feel about it. But
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: you don't have the right to tell us what the
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: hell should feel like. You are not be crying. Wait
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: a minute, you don't know what I've been through. Yeah,
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: she wasn't crying because of your reaction. Sheryl Underwood was
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: tearing up because she couldn't believe that she had to
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: say it. And then y'all had a damn adverse reaction
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: when she the person sitting up there and got to
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: deal with it, and a woman on top of all
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: of that. We'll be right back right after this. You're
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: listening show. Well, guys, how the majority whipped James Clydeborne
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: cli Earn blasted Senator Lindsay Graham over his comments that
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: Lindsay Graham said this the aid to the black farmers
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: and the COVID nineteen relief bill. There go your reparations
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: right there. What Yeah, yeah, that's reparations. He said. Well, Linda,
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: Lindsay listen, listen, Lindsay hate them from South Carolina? I
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: really do, yes from North Carolina. Yes. Clyburn called Graham,
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: who is from South Carolina as well, to go back
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: to church and to get in touch with his Christianity.
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: Of course, the bill will provide direct relief and payments
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: of up to one hundred and twenty percent of socially
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: disadvantished farmers or ranchers without standing debt as of January
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: twenty twenty one. Now is that reparation today? That's just
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: a start, yes, and they need that, you know, we
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: need our farmers. So again, the bill will provide direct
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: relief and payments of up to one hundred and twenty
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: percent of socially disadvantaged farmers or ranchers with outstanding debt
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: as of January twenty twenty one. And that's a good thing.
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: You know, that's a good thing. We're not reparations. Yeah,
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: we still want reparations. Y'all need to vote in South Carolina.
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: All right. We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: Show coming up at thirty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: All right, Steve, come on, it's time for you to
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: introduce your friends so we can see the one and
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: only Jay Anthony Brown. Thank you so much. Let me
