Latest / Life For Toledo / Countless Wonders Psalm 40-5

- 0:00I'm thinking today of Psalm 40, verse 5. It says,
- 0:04Many, Lord my God, are the wonders which you
- 0:07have made, and your thoughts toward us there
- 0:09is no one to compare with you. If I would declare
- 0:12and speak of them, they would be too numerous
- 0:15to count. The truth is, God has made wondrous
- 0:19things, beginning with all creation, and people,
- 0:23and purposeful creation, purposeful people. We
- 0:26have had God's blessing from the very beginning,
- 0:29and yet people have screwed it up. We tend to
- 0:32forget this great body of knowledge that includes
- 0:34the wonders of God's creation. Moreover, we begin
- 0:38to think that someone or something else can compare
- 0:40with God, and that's not the case, if in no other
- 0:43way than the fact that literally nothing else
- 0:46was made except that which He made, and He made
- 0:49it out of nothing. He is God, and He alone. There's
- 0:52an old poem. I didn't write it, and it's not
- 0:55from Scripture, and it says this. If all the
- 0:58skies were parchment made, and every man a scribe
- 1:01by trade, if every reed were turned to a pen,
- 1:05and every drop of sea were ink for men, it would
- 1:09not suffice to write the whole, the endless wonders
- 1:12of the Lord's control. to pen the grace that
- 1:15falls from above, or some the breadth of the
- 1:18Creator's love. God loves you today, and He's
- 1:21done wonderful and amazing things, and we should
- 1:23give Him glory for all that He is and all that
- 1:25He does.
