- 0:00Speaker 1: Hunter Biden and more trouble maybe depends on how you
- 0:04Speaker 1: look at this. He has now officially missed the House
- 0:07Speaker 1: Oversight Committee's deadline to turnover important documents. So now the
- 0:13Speaker 1: Republicans have to decide what they are going to do next.
- 0:17Speaker 1: Do you subpoena him and then maybe even hold him
- 0:21Speaker 1: in contempt? Take a list into this breaking news Hill.
- 0:24Speaker 1: The House Oversight Committee is inching closer this morning to
- 0:27Speaker 1: issuing a subpoena to Hunter Biden. Overnight, the president's son
- 0:30Speaker 1: missed the panel's deadline to turnover records on his foreign
- 0:34Speaker 1: business dealings. Hunter Biden's attorney argues that the the committee is overreaching,
- 0:38Speaker 1: saying its scope does not include his client, who is
- 0:41Speaker 1: a private person. White House correspondent Alison Harris explains where
- 0:45Speaker 1: this could go next. Good morning, Alison, Good morning, Mitch.
- 0:49Speaker 1: Subpoenas could be imminent for Hunter Biden, as well as
- 0:52Speaker 1: the President's brother, James Biden, and a business associate of theirs.
- 0:56Speaker 1: As of this morning, the Biden surpassed the deadline set
- 0:59Speaker 1: by the House over Committee to provide records related to
- 1:02Speaker 1: their family business dealings overseas in Ukraine and in China.
- 1:06Speaker 1: A spokesperson for the committee tells me that Hunter and
- 1:09Speaker 1: James Biden's attorneys have sent letters acknowledging the requests, but
- 1:13Speaker 1: they have not provided materials themselves. The committee is, however,
- 1:17Speaker 1: in contact with an attorney for one of their business associates,
- 1:20Speaker 1: Eric Schwerin, and expects him to start producing documents soon. Now,
- 1:24Speaker 1: this is just one of a slew of investigations that
- 1:27Speaker 1: we've been recovering by this Republican led committee, vowing to
- 1:30Speaker 1: bring transparency and accountability about the Biden family's influenced peddling,
- 1:35Speaker 1: as they call it. Hunter Biden's attorney has offered to
- 1:38Speaker 1: sit down with the committee to determine any legislative purpose
- 1:41Speaker 1: for this investigation, making that argument that you mentioned that
- 1:45Speaker 1: his client, Hunter Biden, is a private citizen. Now, a
- 1:48Speaker 1: representative tells me that the committee has yet to take
- 1:51Speaker 1: Hunter Biden's attorney up on his offer to sit down
- 1:54Speaker 1: with them. Hunter Biden's attorney has called the committee Wonderland
- 1:57Speaker 1: and its leader, Representative James Comer, the Queen of Hearts
- 2:00Speaker 1: for commerce quote inaccurate and baseless conclusions, Mitch so Allison,
- 2:05Speaker 1: how likely were actually to see Hunter Biden and the
- 2:07Speaker 1: President's brother James Biden given subpoenas in this congressional investigation.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Subpoenas are going to be a last resort, according to
- 2:16Speaker 1: at least one member of the committee, Representative Pat Fallon,
- 2:19Speaker 1: a Texas Republican on the committee, telling News Nation that
- 2:22Speaker 1: the committee is only going to issue them if warranted,
- 2:26Speaker 1: adding that if all parties involved refuse to cooperate, then
- 2:30Speaker 1: all tools, including those subpoenas, are on the table. Let
- 2:34Speaker 1: me just be clear here. They are going to get subpoenaed.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Hunter Biden's going to get subpoenaed. So is James Biden,
- 2:41Speaker 1: the brother of the President of the United States of America.
- 2:43Speaker 1: They're going to get subpoena because it's very clear that
- 2:46Speaker 1: they believe they are above the law. They believe they're
- 2:48Speaker 1: above Congress. They believe that they're going to be protected
- 2:52Speaker 1: by the President and they're going to be protected by
- 2:54Speaker 1: the Deep State. And that is exactly why they chose
- 2:58Speaker 1: deliberately to miss the panel's deadline to turn over these
- 3:02Speaker 1: records on foreign business dealings. Now, the committee first made
- 3:06Speaker 1: the requests on February of the ninth. The chairman or
- 3:10Speaker 1: the House Oversight Committee, James Comer, He's been very clear
- 3:14Speaker 1: lately accusing the Bidens of not only influence pedaling, but
- 3:19Speaker 1: also possibly being compromised by foreign governments. He says he
- 3:24Speaker 1: doesn't know specifically what services hunter James Biden provided in
- 3:29Speaker 1: many different countries to receive the millions of dollars in return.
- 3:33Speaker 1: That's why they're asking for questions, asking for these documents.
- 3:37Speaker 1: They can say, hey, fill in the blanks about your
- 3:39Speaker 1: finances now. The spokesperson for the committee also sets the
- 3:45Speaker 1: James Biden's attorneys, and he's got some top level attorneys.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Now we've just found out scent letters acknowledging the request.
- 3:51Speaker 1: But if not providing any of the materials either. Why
- 3:54Speaker 1: because they don't feel like they have to play within
- 3:57Speaker 1: this system. Do you know who our dad is? Do
- 4:01Speaker 1: you know who our brother is? That's basically the mentality.
- 4:04Speaker 1: You don't screw with us. We're the Biden family. Now
- 4:09Speaker 1: there's also something else that's interesting. The committee has also
- 4:12Speaker 1: been in contact with the attorney for another business associate.
- 4:16Speaker 1: Let's talk about Eric Squaren real quick. They are now
- 4:19Speaker 1: expecting Eric Squaron, because he's not last named Biden, to
- 4:24Speaker 1: start producing documents soon. It also recently asked for testimony
- 4:29Speaker 1: from Eric Squaron in front of the committee that could
- 4:32Speaker 1: be extremely damning to James Biden and Hunter Biden, as
- 4:37Speaker 1: well as Joe Biden. Now Hunter continues to say none
- 4:41Speaker 1: of your business. James says it the same thing, but
- 4:44Speaker 1: everyone else around them is terrified that they may go
- 4:46Speaker 1: to jail. You look at the ties to Barisma, that
- 4:51Speaker 1: Ukrainian energy company that's been a fixation for a long
- 4:56Speaker 1: time of this committee and conservatives who actually want to
- 5:00Speaker 1: get to the truth. Biden, we know for a fact,
- 5:04Speaker 1: joined the board of Barisma in twenty fourteen, around the
- 5:08Speaker 1: exact same time this father, who was then the Vice President,
- 5:11Speaker 1: was conducting the Obama administration's foreign policy for Ukraine. Several members,
- 5:17Speaker 1: by the way, have argued for years now that Hunter
- 5:21Speaker 1: Biden's work in Ukraine clearly influenced the Obama administration's policies
- 5:27Speaker 1: towards the Eastern European nation. Now I'm going to stop
- 5:31Speaker 1: there and give you another headline that might explain a
- 5:35Speaker 1: lot of what I'm talking about right now, with a
- 5:37Speaker 1: corruption Okay, Biden administration came out today while all this
- 5:42Speaker 1: is happening and said they clear Ukraine of misusing US
- 5:48Speaker 1: financial aid the USAID, Samantha Power said, there's quote no
- 5:53Speaker 1: evidence of misspending of the one hundred billion that we
- 5:57Speaker 1: have sent to Ukraine so far. Now, how would you
- 5:59Speaker 1: know that by doing an investigation? If you're dealing with
- 6:02Speaker 1: a war torn country, how would you be able to
- 6:06Speaker 1: clear them this quickly when a lot of questions have
- 6:08Speaker 1: been asked. Maybe it's because the Biden administration knows when
- 6:13Speaker 1: to cover something up. This also sounds an awful lot
- 6:16Speaker 1: like the exact same way our government treated Hunter Biden
- 6:20Speaker 1: and the president and the email server of Hillary Clinton. Right,
- 6:23Speaker 1: nothing to see here, we say, there's no problem. Let's
- 6:27Speaker 1: keep moving on. Ukraine quote is not misusing the tens
- 6:31Speaker 1: of billions of dollars in direct financial assistants that it
- 6:34Speaker 1: is receiving courtesy of US taxpayers, according to a top
- 6:36Speaker 1: Biden administration official. This morning, Samantha Power, the administrator of
- 6:42Speaker 1: the US Agency for International Development also USAID, gave the
- 6:46Speaker 1: public information during a CNN Live town hall. Her assurances
- 6:52Speaker 1: came just hours ahead of the White House revealing it's
- 6:54Speaker 1: going to give another two billion of your tax dollars
- 6:57Speaker 1: in military aid to Ukraine as its score with Russia.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Officially hits the one year mark. How much are we
- 7:04Speaker 1: on the hook for so far? While the total amount
- 7:06Speaker 1: of American military assistance, your tax dollars going to Ukraine
- 7:10Speaker 1: is now over thirty billion dollars in the first year.
- 7:13Speaker 1: The former Obama administration official further claimed Ukraine has made
- 7:17Speaker 1: progress in working to root out corruption while officials are
- 7:21Speaker 1: continually checking to ensure that US taxpayers dollars are quote
- 7:24Speaker 1: used properly. Up until this point, we don't have any
- 7:27Speaker 1: evidence that the US assistants is being misused or misspent.
- 7:32Speaker 1: But the key is not resting on anybody's goodwill or virtue.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Powers went on to say she was responding to a
- 7:39Speaker 1: question posed about Ukraine's long history of massive corruption, the
- 7:43Speaker 1: same corruption that was actually being investigated by a prosecutor
- 7:47Speaker 1: who was fired because Joe Biden demanded that prosecutor, who
- 7:53Speaker 1: was trying to root out corruption was investigating the corrupt
- 7:57Speaker 1: company Barisma. That company is a company that was giving
- 8:01Speaker 1: millions of dollars to the Biden crime family. I want
- 8:05Speaker 1: to just go back and remind you of that tape
- 8:09Speaker 1: of the President of the United States America after he
- 8:12Speaker 1: left the vice presidency bragging about getting and using American
- 8:16Speaker 1: aid as the leverage to get a individual fired inside
- 8:23Speaker 1: of the Ukrainian government that was investigating corruption, and that
- 8:25Speaker 1: also included Barisma. And we're supposed to believe now that
- 8:29Speaker 1: nothing shady's happening with any of our tax dollars going
- 8:32Speaker 1: to Ukraine. Listen to the President in his own words,
- 8:35Speaker 1: is just a quick reminder of just how arrogant the
- 8:38Speaker 1: Biden family is when it comes to their foreign policy
- 8:42Speaker 1: for their own pocketbooks. I remember going over convincing our team,
- 8:46Speaker 1: our brothers, to convincing as that we should be providing
- 8:50Speaker 1: for loan guarantees. And I went over, I guess the
- 8:54Speaker 1: twelfth thirteenth time to keep and I was supposed to
- 8:58Speaker 1: announce that there's another billion dollars loan guarantee. And I
- 9:02Speaker 1: had gotten a commitment from Porschenko and from Yats and
- 9:07Speaker 1: Yoke that they would take action against the state prosecutor.
- 9:10Speaker 1: And they didn't. So they said they had They were
- 9:13Speaker 1: walking out to Prescot and said, nah, I said, I'm
- 9:14Speaker 1: not going to We're not going to give you the
- 9:17Speaker 1: billion dollars. They said, you have no authority, You're not
- 9:20Speaker 1: the president. The president said, I said, call him. I said,
- 9:24Speaker 1: I'm telling you're not getting the billion dollars. I said,
- 9:26Speaker 1: you're not getting the billion, I'm gonna be leaving here.
- 9:28Speaker 1: And I think it was about six hours. I looked
- 9:30Speaker 1: as I'm leaving in six hours. If the prosecutors not fired,
- 9:33Speaker 1: you're not getting the money. Well, son, I'm a bitch,
- 9:37Speaker 1: got fired, and they put in place someone who was solid.
- 9:42Speaker 1: I love how he says. And they put in place
- 9:44Speaker 1: someone that was solid, right, well, Saloman, that was Salid
- 9:47Speaker 1: that wouldn't look at the corruption of his own family,
- 9:51Speaker 1: his own son. And all the billions are say, millions
- 9:54Speaker 1: coming in from Ukraine. All right, I'm gonna tell you
- 9:57Speaker 1: more about this in a second, but I do need
- 9:58Speaker 1: to tell you about our friends at a Gusts of
- 10:00Speaker 1: Precious Metals. If you've been saving for a long time
- 10:03Speaker 1: for retirement, you know that you need to protect your money,
- 10:07Speaker 1: and one way to do that is with a gold ira.
- 10:10Speaker 1: I'm excited about telling you about a company that I
- 10:12Speaker 1: actually use. I have actually worked with a Gust of
- 10:15Speaker 1: Precious Medals. They are different because they will even tell
- 10:19Speaker 1: you if a gold ira isn't your answer, they give
- 10:23Speaker 1: you just the facts. Now, a gust of Precious Metal
- 10:26Speaker 1: is all about protecting your IRA and your four oh
- 10:29Speaker 1: one k. They're great people a great conservative company. They're
- 10:34Speaker 1: great people at a great conservative company. They understand right
- 10:39Speaker 1: now that it's crazy with our economy and it's extremely important,
- 10:43Speaker 1: especially if you're close to retirement, to protect your assets
- 10:47Speaker 1: because there's no time to make up losses. So if
- 10:50Speaker 1: you've saved one hundred thousand dollars or more, then you
- 10:52Speaker 1: should take a look at their free guide and you
- 10:55Speaker 1: should really sign up for something that I've done. It's
- 10:58Speaker 1: a web conference where you talk to a top individual
- 11:02Speaker 1: about gold iras and you're four oh one k. Check
- 11:06Speaker 1: them out and get the peace of mind that you're
- 11:08Speaker 1: protecting your hard earned assets when you get really close
- 11:11Speaker 1: to retirement. Eight seven seven four the number four gold
- 11:16Speaker 1: IRA eight seven seven four Gold IRA, or visit them
- 11:21Speaker 1: online at Augusta Precious Metals dot com. Say I sent
- 11:24Speaker 1: you and they will pay your fees for up to
- 11:27Speaker 1: ten years. That's Augusta Precious Metals dot Com. Eight seven
- 11:30Speaker 1: seven four Gold IRA. You look at the Biden team,
- 11:36Speaker 1: there is no way that you could do a forensic
- 11:39Speaker 1: accounting of the more than one hundred billion dollars in
- 11:42Speaker 1: military and humanitarian aid that we've given you to Ukraine
- 11:46Speaker 1: since to start the war one year ago. There's no
- 11:50Speaker 1: way that you could actually look into this amount of
- 11:54Speaker 1: potential corruption and one of the most corrupt countries in
- 11:57Speaker 1: the world, Ukrainian corruption. And I were in this almost
- 12:01Speaker 1: a year ago, right when this started. I was in
- 12:03Speaker 1: Hungary and I was meeting with some top people and
- 12:05Speaker 1: they're like, Ben, what America doesn't understand is our neighbor,
- 12:10Speaker 1: who we're helping right now, right with the with the
- 12:13Speaker 1: humanitarian crisis, the people leaving Ukraine trying to just you know,
- 12:16Speaker 1: be safe, is that Ukraine makes Russia look normal. And
- 12:23Speaker 1: I was like, what do you mean. They're like, if
- 12:24Speaker 1: you think Russian corruption is bad, you have no idea
- 12:28Speaker 1: how bad it is in Ukraine. And this is before obviously,
- 12:32Speaker 1: you know, you had Russia invading. Ukraine's a beautiful country.
- 12:36Speaker 1: Ukraine is one of the most corrupt countries in that
- 12:40Speaker 1: part of the world. And what they were telling me
- 12:43Speaker 1: was is like, you guys, don't you know, Yeah, you
- 12:46Speaker 1: may want to back Ukraine and you and you might
- 12:49Speaker 1: as a nation be excited about standing up to Russia,
- 12:52Speaker 1: but know that this country has decades and decades of
- 12:59Speaker 1: extreme and massive corruption that makes Russia look normal. Now,
- 13:04Speaker 1: if you listen and then you go back and look
- 13:06Speaker 1: at some of the examples, you start to realize very quickly.
- 13:09Speaker 1: And this is why I love traveling the world and
- 13:12Speaker 1: talking to world leaders in other countries. They made it
- 13:15Speaker 1: quitter like you guys are getting bamboozled, is what they
- 13:17Speaker 1: were implying, and that was a year ago. There's also
- 13:21Speaker 1: been some reporting that would go against what the Biden
- 13:25Speaker 1: officials saying instantly, like hey, we've decided it that they're
- 13:28Speaker 1: not misusing AID. There's no way you can do a
- 13:32Speaker 1: forensic accounting of that right now at this point. But
- 13:36Speaker 1: there's other news it's broken that should put some of
- 13:39Speaker 1: this into doubt. Let me give an example. The Ukrainian
- 13:43Speaker 1: Defense ministry recently has been dealing with a string of
- 13:47Speaker 1: corruption scandals. The latest one is actually concerning excessive food payments.
- 13:56Speaker 1: Let me go that back to just that story, and
- 13:59Speaker 1: this is one of those things that the Biden administration
- 14:01Speaker 1: doesn't want you to know about. There were a string
- 14:06Speaker 1: of senior Ukrainian government officials that were sacked or resigned
- 14:12Speaker 1: amid a flurry of corruption claims that came out and
- 14:16Speaker 1: this is just one month ago today. Why did they
- 14:23Speaker 1: Why did they get sacked? Why did they resign because
- 14:27Speaker 1: they were shown the door? Because they were accused of
- 14:30Speaker 1: taking illicit payments as the Ministry of Defense allegedly signed
- 14:35Speaker 1: over inflated military contracts. Reports of foul play in Ukraine
- 14:42Speaker 1: Ukraine's high offices and I'm reading for a news report
- 14:45Speaker 1: now first broke over the weekend when critics pointed to
- 14:49Speaker 1: under the table payments to the deputy ministers and suspect
- 14:53Speaker 1: military equipment contracts. However, only a few now are our
- 14:58Speaker 1: details being made about to the public about what actually happened,
- 15:02Speaker 1: and those accused are now finally being named. AFP reported
- 15:09Speaker 1: that the deputy Defense Minister, the deputy head of the
- 15:14Speaker 1: Presidential Administration and the Deputy Prosecutor General are among the
- 15:19Speaker 1: officials who have allegedly left Zelenski's government. This is dated
- 15:26Speaker 1: January the twenty fourth of twenty twenty three, so a
- 15:30Speaker 1: month ago. The Guardian also wrote a deep dive into this,
- 15:37Speaker 1: detailing the comprehensive list of dismissals, claiming it is long.
- 15:45Speaker 1: In fact, they tried to ask Zelenski about this, and
- 15:51Speaker 1: then Zelenski started relieving different people of duties as part
- 15:54Speaker 1: of the wave of exits that happened. This is again
- 15:57Speaker 1: within the last month. This move all so comes him
- 16:00Speaker 1: in a corruption scandal which saw Infrastructure Deputy of Ukraine
- 16:05Speaker 1: sacked and detained for alleged theft of four hundred thousand
- 16:09Speaker 1: dollars that alone from the Winter Aid budget quote unquote.
- 16:16Speaker 1: Military grade weaponry in Ukraine has previously allegedly have been
- 16:20Speaker 1: sold onto international buyers on the encrypted messaging app Telegram,
- 16:27Speaker 1: including some hardware made in the United States of America
- 16:30Speaker 1: that's also been reported on in the last two months.
- 16:34Speaker 1: In fact, a Canadian NGO has warned that Western weapons
- 16:38Speaker 1: shipped to Ukraine could actually end up in Russia hands,
- 16:42Speaker 1: but may even end up being sold on the international
- 16:46Speaker 1: black market because there worth so much money. Ukrainians Deputy
- 16:51Speaker 1: Defense Minister is responsible for supplying troops with food and equipment.
- 16:56Speaker 1: He has also resigned media accusations of corruption that he
- 17:02Speaker 1: and the ministry say are quote baseless. Yet he resigned.
- 17:06Speaker 1: A statement on the Defense Ministry's website said the resignation
- 17:09Speaker 1: was a worthy deed that would help retain trust in
- 17:12Speaker 1: the ministry quote unquote. The Deputy Prosecutor General has also
- 17:19Speaker 1: been removed from his post, according to the Prosecutor General's office,
- 17:24Speaker 1: and two deputy ministers resigned from Ukraine's Ministry of Communication
- 17:29Speaker 1: and Territory Developments because of corruption. This is a month ago, y'all.
- 17:34Speaker 1: All this happened a month ago. According to the Guardian,
- 17:38Speaker 1: the heads of five regional authorities across the country have
- 17:41Speaker 1: also been dismissed. Over the weekend, Euronews reported a Ukrainian
- 17:46Speaker 1: newspaper investigation accused of defense minister signing off on contracts
- 17:51Speaker 1: to supply food to frontline troops at two to three
- 17:54Speaker 1: times the regular price. Why would you do that because
- 17:59Speaker 1: you're getting massive kick backs. We also have been told
- 18:03Speaker 1: that military grade weapons, including US hardware, in Ukraine are
- 18:07Speaker 1: allegedly being sold on the two international buyers via the
- 18:11Speaker 1: messaging app. As I mentioned a moment ago ago telegram.
- 18:15Speaker 1: Tell you about that story in just a moment now.
- 18:18Speaker 1: The amount in question, we're being told at the time
- 18:21Speaker 1: was three hundred seventy four million that the US is
- 18:24Speaker 1: going to give for twenty twenty three. These resignations have happened,
- 18:31Speaker 1: it will make it possible to quote preserve the confidence
- 18:34Speaker 1: of society and international partners, is what the Ministry of
- 18:37Speaker 1: Defense said in a press release. So they're admitting it
- 18:41Speaker 1: right All these people are getting kicked out of office.
- 18:45Speaker 1: This is happening right now, and Biden official comes out
- 18:48Speaker 1: and clears Ukraine and misusing financial aid. How is that
- 18:53Speaker 1: possible when a month ago all these people who were
- 18:55Speaker 1: dealing with US financial aid have all been either fired
- 18:58Speaker 1: or left offense. How is that possible. Let's go to
- 19:04Speaker 1: the weapons. Let's talk about that. Military grade weaponry in
- 19:09Speaker 1: Ukraine is also allegedly being sold on to international buyers,
- 19:13Speaker 1: including some hardware that's made in America. Weapons that have
- 19:17Speaker 1: been allegedly collected in Ukraine during the country's ongoing war
- 19:20Speaker 1: with Russia have been put up for sale on telegram channels,
- 19:23Speaker 1: including various kinds of automatic rifles as well as small arms.
- 19:28Speaker 1: Weapons said to be for sale include not just Ukrainian
- 19:31Speaker 1: origin arms such as old Soviet area AK forty seven rifles,
- 19:35Speaker 1: but also American made rifles like the M sixteen and
- 19:37Speaker 1: the M four, along with other NATO member origin firearms
- 19:41Speaker 1: like the RX one sixty A one manufactured by the
- 19:44Speaker 1: Italian weapons company Baretta. It remains unclear whether weapons are
- 19:49Speaker 1: being sold by Ukrainians or by Russians who have collected
- 19:53Speaker 1: them over the course of the war, but we can't
- 19:55Speaker 1: get official answer from the Ukrainian government. Canadian Ngio Objeck
- 20:01Speaker 1: warned earlier this year of the possibility that the arms
- 20:04Speaker 1: from the West are actually ending up on the black market,
- 20:08Speaker 1: with one researcher saying there is a real threat that
- 20:11Speaker 1: the Ukrainian government is actually not in control of all
- 20:14Speaker 1: these weapons and they're being sold to the highest bidder.
- 20:18Speaker 1: Whenever the conflict does subside, these weapons aren't just going
- 20:21Speaker 1: to go poof and disappear. The warning also was that
- 20:26Speaker 1: the illegal arms trade often runs along the same routes
- 20:28Speaker 1: as the illegal drug trade, noting that radical Islamic jihata
- 20:31Speaker 1: cells may be tempting to purchase weapons being sold through
- 20:34Speaker 1: encrypted apps that are actually coming from America. During the
- 20:39Speaker 1: early days the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Islamic extremists called
- 20:42Speaker 1: on jihatas to take advantage of the war, with the
- 20:45Speaker 1: Islamic Terror Organization recommending supporters use the conflict to quote
- 20:49Speaker 1: collect weapons that can be used in terror attacks, for example,
- 20:53Speaker 1: down the road, what do they actually say, quote to
- 20:55Speaker 1: the brothers supporters of the Islamic State in Russia and
- 20:58Speaker 1: Ukraine sees the opportunity brothers and collect weapons for weapons
- 21:04Speaker 1: have been widely distributed to civilians. We can use these
- 21:09Speaker 1: to attack the crusaders. The Islamic State jihadis urged quote
- 21:14Speaker 1: let Muslims see their war as a divine gift to
- 21:17Speaker 1: the Muslims in Ukraine, in Russia and in the entire world.
- 21:22Speaker 1: For those who contemplate it. There are indications that it
- 21:25Speaker 1: will change the face of the world, and if the
- 21:27Speaker 1: Muslims take advantage of it, it will be a large
- 21:29Speaker 1: building block that will advance them towards the renewal of
- 21:32Speaker 1: their glory. Now, members the Islamic State terrorist group have
- 21:35Speaker 1: celebrated the ongoing conflict because they believe that it's a
- 21:39Speaker 1: chance for them to get their hands on new weaponry.
- 21:42Speaker 1: They have gotten their hands on a lot of old
- 21:44Speaker 1: American weapons that were left back in Afghanistan Iraq in
- 21:48Speaker 1: the war. But they're saying now we've got to celebrate
- 21:51Speaker 1: this conflict between Russia and Ukraine. We have to because
- 21:55Speaker 1: this will spread out the European countries. They won't be
- 21:58Speaker 1: focused on us. The islam Comic State magazine al Naba
- 22:03Speaker 1: said to have published an editorial this week regarding the
- 22:06Speaker 1: invasion of Ukraine, labeling the conflict a divine punishment and
- 22:11Speaker 1: going on to state that it will have significant consequences
- 22:14Speaker 1: that will change many of the laws of peace and
- 22:16Speaker 1: war between those countries. The writers of the editorial, which
- 22:20Speaker 1: is said to have been distributed on the encrypted messaging
- 22:22Speaker 1: app Telegram, also called on supporters the Islamic state to
- 22:26Speaker 1: take advantage of this chaos, claiming that conflict is only
- 22:29Speaker 1: the beginning of the wider battle and we must seize
- 22:33Speaker 1: the day. What is happening today quote the direct bloody
- 22:38Speaker 1: war between the Orthodox Crusaders Russian Ukraine is but one
- 22:42Speaker 1: example of God's punishment for them, as ascribed in the Kuran.
- 22:46Speaker 1: The author the editorial said, referring to the combatant state
- 22:50Speaker 1: predominant faith, weather long or short, this Russian Ukrainian war
- 22:56Speaker 1: is but the beginning of the next wars between the
- 22:58Speaker 1: crusader countries, and the images of destruction death we see
- 23:02Speaker 1: are but a small scene of the situation in which
- 23:04Speaker 1: the great war begins. The Islamic extremists went on to
- 23:08Speaker 1: state this going on, we must condemn foreigners fighting for
- 23:14Speaker 1: Ukraine as Infidel militias. A prior report from the Middle
- 23:19Speaker 1: East Media Research Institute claimed that Islamic State chat servers
- 23:24Speaker 1: have urged supporters not only in Ukraine but in Russia
- 23:28Speaker 1: to carry out attacks and retaliation for the country's roles
- 23:31Speaker 1: in defeating the group in the Middle East. To the Brothers,
- 23:35Speaker 1: supporters of the Islamic State in Russian Ukraine seize the
- 23:37Speaker 1: opportunity Brothers and again called for them to collect all
- 23:41Speaker 1: the weapons they could, saying these weapons have been widely
- 23:46Speaker 1: distributed to civilians, we must grab them now. This is
- 23:50Speaker 1: from God. Another telegram channel said to be linked to
- 23:57Speaker 1: a sympathizer to al Qaida from Jordan commented on the conflict,
- 24:01Speaker 1: saying this let Muslims see the war as a divine
- 24:04Speaker 1: gift to the Muslims there in Ukraine, in Russia and
- 24:07Speaker 1: in the entire world. For those who contemplate it. There
- 24:10Speaker 1: are indications that it will change the face of the world,
- 24:13Speaker 1: and if the Muslims take advantage of it, it will
- 24:15Speaker 1: be a large quote building block that will advance them
- 24:18Speaker 1: towards the renewal of their glory. So let's just step
- 24:23Speaker 1: back and go back to the false claim that I
- 24:26Speaker 1: started the show with You've got a country now whose
- 24:32Speaker 1: leaders are firing people left and right in Ukraine for
- 24:38Speaker 1: being busted for corruption, not because they were corrupt, just
- 24:40Speaker 1: because they were busted, and Ukraine knew that they didn't
- 24:43Speaker 1: fire them or get rid of them in some capacity.
- 24:45Speaker 1: They may actually be working behind the scenes. We don't know.
- 24:48Speaker 1: But if you didn't get rid of them, then no
- 24:49Speaker 1: one was going to send the money. So they cleaned
- 24:53Speaker 1: house and it may not even be real, it may
- 24:54Speaker 1: be fake. And then the Biden officials are asked about
- 24:58Speaker 1: this and they're like, hey, you guys, it's like we
- 25:00Speaker 1: really need to know what's going on here right, Like,
- 25:03Speaker 1: you know this is gonna make us look bad if
- 25:05Speaker 1: you want more American money. Zalinsky, you got to get
- 25:09Speaker 1: rid of these people. Zalinski's like, I got you, no problem.
- 25:12Speaker 1: I'll go back and take care of this. We'll announce
- 25:14Speaker 1: that we're firing people. And then America did what America does,
- 25:18Speaker 1: cleared Ukraine of any wrongdoing so that you will not
- 25:22Speaker 1: question them sending more of your tax dollars. It is
- 25:26Speaker 1: impossible for Biden officials to clear Ukraine and misusing of
- 25:29Speaker 1: US financial aid, even though That's exactly what was said
- 25:34Speaker 1: by the officials of the Biden administration. Now, let me
- 25:38Speaker 1: also explain to you who the woman is it's lying
- 25:40Speaker 1: to you, who's clearing Ukraine of any wrongdoing with your
- 25:44Speaker 1: tax dollars. Her name is Samantha Power. You may have
- 25:48Speaker 1: heard me mention her name earlier. What is she really
- 25:51Speaker 1: focused on? She's focused not on this war, She's actually
- 25:57Speaker 1: focused on climate change. Came out recently and said this
- 26:02Speaker 1: about climate change. The same woman that you're supposed to
- 26:04Speaker 1: believe on your tax dollars in Ukraine. The question that
- 26:08Speaker 1: brings you all here today and causes so many of
- 26:10Speaker 1: you to do the work that you do every day,
- 26:14Speaker 1: The question for the world is simple. Today we are
- 26:17Speaker 1: in a global food crisis, no question. What can we
- 26:21Speaker 1: do together to avert a global food catastrophe? To start,
- 26:29Speaker 1: we have to understand the forces that have led us
- 26:32Speaker 1: to this current precipice, the most existential of which is
- 26:38Speaker 1: climate change. Each day seems to bring a new report
- 26:43Speaker 1: of climate catastrophes, like the brutal heat waves we're seeing
- 26:47Speaker 1: in Texas, the wildfires tearing through Europe, or the parts
- 26:52Speaker 1: of the United Kingdom receiving Red alert heat warnings for
- 26:56Speaker 1: the first time in their history. But it turns out
- 26:59Speaker 1: the big threat climate change poses to the world's hungry
- 27:04Speaker 1: isn't a sudden chuck. It is a long sustained, onslaught
- 27:10Speaker 1: draughts that don't just last for a season, but for years.
- 27:14Speaker 1: So this is the woman, this climate change whacko who's
- 27:19Speaker 1: saying the number one threat to you is not nuclear Russia,
- 27:23Speaker 1: is not nuclear ran it's not China. It's a food
- 27:26Speaker 1: It's a global food catastrophe and in order to avert
- 27:30Speaker 1: it with a global food security issue in crisis, that's
- 27:34Speaker 1: what we really need to be focused on. This is
- 27:36Speaker 1: the woman that is to the accounting of all your
- 27:38Speaker 1: tax dollars going to Ukraine. Samantha Power was also on
- 27:43Speaker 1: TV back in the middle of last summer talking about
- 27:47Speaker 1: Biden's request for thirty three billion additional a to Ukraine,
- 27:51Speaker 1: and she celebrated fertilizer shortages that will force farmers to
- 27:55Speaker 1: quote hasten transitions to natural solutions. When American farmers and
- 28:01Speaker 1: farmers around the world were terrified. It's some of the
- 28:03Speaker 1: new regulations in the lack of fertilizer they could use. Listen,
- 28:07Speaker 1: fertilizer shortages are real now because Russia is a big
- 28:10Speaker 1: exporter or fertilizer, and even though fertilizer is not sanctioned,
- 28:14Speaker 1: less fertilizer is coming out of Russia. As a result,
- 28:18Speaker 1: we're working with countries to think about natural solutions like
- 28:20Speaker 1: manure and compost, and this may hasten transitions that would
- 28:25Speaker 1: have been in the interest of farmers to make eventually anyway,
- 28:27Speaker 1: So never let a crisis go to waste. But we
- 28:30Speaker 1: really do need this financial support from the Congress to
- 28:33Speaker 1: be able to meet emergency food needs, so we don't
- 28:35Speaker 1: see the cascading, deadly effects of Russia's war extend into
- 28:40Speaker 1: Africa and beyond. So the war is a good thing
- 28:44Speaker 1: because it will force the farmers to change how they
- 28:48Speaker 1: farm and stop relying on fertilizer. And she's the one
- 28:52Speaker 1: doing the accounting in Ukraine, which I'm just curious here
- 28:55Speaker 1: which one is it to samanth the powers, Like, what
- 28:59Speaker 1: is her her actual job? I can't understand. I really
- 29:03Speaker 1: cannot understand what it is she's supposed to be doing.
- 29:08Speaker 1: What I do know is she's a crazy anti right individual. Right.
- 29:14Speaker 1: She is somebody that has been out there and she
- 29:19Speaker 1: said in her own words, the president is blatantly extorting
- 29:23Speaker 1: a foreign leader. This was her testimony about Zelenski and
- 29:28Speaker 1: what Donald Trump wanted to do in Ukraine. Listen carefully.
- 29:34Speaker 1: An idealist a memoir Samantha Power. Thank you so much
- 29:37Speaker 1: for joining us. Thank you, Anna. I want to get
- 29:40Speaker 1: your book, of course, in just a moment, but first
- 29:42Speaker 1: I have to ask you about the fallout from the
- 29:43Speaker 1: President's call with the Ukrainian president. You tweeted this that
- 29:47Speaker 1: Donald Trump thought it was a good idea to release
- 29:50Speaker 1: this transcript as a staggering testament to the endemic corruption
- 29:53Speaker 1: of his administration. He and his close advisors have lost
- 29:56Speaker 1: the ability to even see what's incriminating. Master of that
- 30:00Speaker 1: is quite a statement. Well, I mean, I think what
- 30:04Speaker 1: we have seen from the beginning of this presidency is
- 30:06Speaker 1: a pattern where what matters most to the President of
- 30:09Speaker 1: United States is his own welfare, his own self aggrandizement,
- 30:13Speaker 1: his wealth, his own political fortune. And there are so
- 30:19Speaker 1: many examples of this. But here's an example where the
- 30:23Speaker 1: president is blatantly extorting a foreign leader, a foreign leader
- 30:27Speaker 1: who's governing a country that has been invaded by Russia,
- 30:31Speaker 1: a country that interfered in our election. Previously, and our
- 30:35Speaker 1: president is trying to advance his own political welfare rather
- 30:40Speaker 1: than look out for an ally and deliver what that
- 30:43Speaker 1: country needs in order to enhance its security. So the
- 30:46Speaker 1: fact that people put that transcript out and thought that
- 30:49Speaker 1: it would be somehow helpful for the president, I think
- 30:53Speaker 1: just speaks to how accustomed the people around President Trump
- 30:56Speaker 1: have become to this pattern of behavior. And I love
- 31:01Speaker 1: this woman. This is a woman who goes on national
- 31:04Speaker 1: TV and lies to you saying that Donald Trump should
- 31:08Speaker 1: have been impeached for his conversation with Zelenski, and also
- 31:12Speaker 1: then said that Donald Trump is compromised by the Russians
- 31:15Speaker 1: and they tried to change the outcome of our last election,
- 31:17Speaker 1: which he also knew was a lie. And this is
- 31:20Speaker 1: the woman who loves Zelenski. This is the woman who
- 31:24Speaker 1: hated the prosecutor that was looking into corruption. This is
- 31:26Speaker 1: the woman that didn't want corruption to be looked at
- 31:29Speaker 1: in Ukraine. And this is a woman who's now saying,
- 31:32Speaker 1: I've done a forensicic accounting of every dollar that's been
- 31:34Speaker 1: sent to Ukraine and the last year, and don't worry
- 31:37Speaker 1: even though all the top ministers in their government have
- 31:40Speaker 1: just been fired for corruption. Not a single American dollar
- 31:46Speaker 1: has been used for anything that looks like corruption. Really,
- 31:50Speaker 1: they didn't do any audit. They just center out there
- 31:54Speaker 1: is a useful idiot for this administration to justify sending
- 31:59Speaker 1: more money to Ukraine, and they justified it. They justified
- 32:05Speaker 1: it by doing one thing, and one thing only, by
- 32:09Speaker 1: having her say we did an accounting, even though they
- 32:12Speaker 1: clearly have not, and I wouldn't trust her accounting on
- 32:16Speaker 1: anything at this point based on her own political statements
- 32:19Speaker 1: in the past. Make sure you share this podcast with
- 32:22Speaker 1: your family and friends, write us a review. It'll help
- 32:26Speaker 1: us reach more people, and I'll see it back here
