- 0:02Speaker 1: Y'all know what time of y'all don't know, y'all back
- 0:09Speaker 1: all suit on the down giving them move like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: milking buck bus things and it's tubbles. Y'all good it.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Steve listening to movie together for stum Please, Mommy, I
- 0:38Speaker 1: don't joy by joined me to be doing me. You
- 0:58Speaker 1: gotta turn you gotta turn the turnout. You got to
- 1:44Speaker 1: turn them out to turn the water. The water got me.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your back. Uh huh, I shall well,
- 2:03Speaker 1: good morning everybody. You'll listening to the voice, Come on
- 2:07Speaker 1: dig me now. One and only Steve Arvey got a
- 2:11Speaker 1: radio show. Man, old Man. Old Man symbolizes just one
- 2:15Speaker 1: thing to me. Man, It's just a constant remind of
- 2:18Speaker 1: exactly how good God has been to me over the years.
- 2:21Speaker 1: And I'm thinking for it too, because I realize every
- 2:24Speaker 1: day that I wake up that I would be nothing
- 2:26Speaker 1: without Him. That everything I am that's any good in me,
- 2:31Speaker 1: I owe to him. Now. Have I made some mistakes
- 2:34Speaker 1: along the way, yep, bunches, bunches and bunches. And will
- 2:39Speaker 1: I continue to make mistakes along the way yep? Not
- 2:44Speaker 1: as many, hopefully as I have in the past, because
- 2:48Speaker 1: a lot of stuff I know better now, but you're
- 2:51Speaker 1: still going to make mistakes now, you know. Hopefully I've
- 2:57Speaker 1: limited the amount of intentional in my life. I've wiped
- 3:02Speaker 1: quite a few of those out, but from time to time,
- 3:05Speaker 1: because we're human, we're going to make a mistake every
- 3:08Speaker 1: now and then. The trick, what it is, y'all's not
- 3:11Speaker 1: to let the devil deceive you into thinking that once
- 3:14Speaker 1: you make that mistake, that that's it. You can't do it.
- 3:17Speaker 1: You're falling off the wagon. You can't reboard it. That's
- 3:22Speaker 1: the biggest trick that he uses. He makes you think
- 3:25Speaker 1: that if you keep stumbling, that you can't run the race.
- 3:32Speaker 1: It kind of reminds me of a marathon runner. From
- 3:36Speaker 1: time to time I watch him on TV, and you'll
- 3:39Speaker 1: see some people who finish the race, you know, in
- 3:44Speaker 1: a in a nice pace. You see people finish the
- 3:48Speaker 1: race sprinting towards the finished line. But every now and
- 3:52Speaker 1: then you'll watch a marathon and you'll see a runner
- 3:57Speaker 1: and the runner is in really really bad shape and
- 4:02Speaker 1: getting close to the finish line to the point where
- 4:04Speaker 1: you see them fall, and sometimes you see them crawling
- 4:08Speaker 1: and you see the people, the aid people that work
- 4:12Speaker 1: there trying to encourage them on. Now they can't lift
- 4:14Speaker 1: them up and walk them across the finish line because
- 4:18Speaker 1: they'll be disqualified. But you see people staggering from side
- 4:23Speaker 1: to side, I mean wobbling really really bad. Legs are
- 4:27Speaker 1: completely shot, and you're thinking, man, I hope they make
- 4:31Speaker 1: it and hang on. And a lot of times, almost
- 4:35Speaker 1: every time I've seen this person or these people manage
- 4:39Speaker 1: to somehow cross the finish line and then the aid
- 4:43Speaker 1: workers running in and wrap them in the luminum fall
- 4:47Speaker 1: looking blanket and start trying to get some water to
- 4:52Speaker 1: them and get an IV in their arm and get
- 4:53Speaker 1: them in an ambulance. The key is they finished the race. See,
- 5:00Speaker 1: you don't get disqualified in the marathon because you stumble,
- 5:06Speaker 1: You don't. They don't. They don't take your opportunity to
- 5:10Speaker 1: finish the race because you keep falling. That's not the key.
- 5:16Speaker 1: The kid is finishing. And a lot of times what
- 5:19Speaker 1: the devil does is he makes you think that because
- 5:22Speaker 1: you keep stumbling, because you're swaying from side to side,
- 5:27Speaker 1: that you know you out the race. Well, that's not
- 5:30Speaker 1: the case. And see, and in this thing called life,
- 5:33Speaker 1: let me help you understand something. Everybody falls. Nobody sprints
- 5:37Speaker 1: to the tape in this one, nobody just runs free
- 5:41Speaker 1: and clear as some people running faster than you and
- 5:45Speaker 1: all like this, and some people gonna get to the
- 5:47Speaker 1: end before you let them go ahead. And when the
- 5:49Speaker 1: end come, the end come. I ain't in the rush
- 5:51Speaker 1: to get to the end. But in this race, though,
- 5:54Speaker 1: when you're stumbling and you're falling, it's a part of it.
- 5:58Speaker 1: No one gets through this race without stumbling and falling,
- 6:01Speaker 1: swaying from side to side. So don't let the enemy
- 6:06Speaker 1: deceive you into thinking that it's over. I try to
- 6:11Speaker 1: be encouraging to people because I don't want people to
- 6:15Speaker 1: get stuck on this thing, you know. And my walk
- 6:18Speaker 1: is very different from a lot of people's walks. And
- 6:20Speaker 1: then I know a lot of people who walking in
- 6:22Speaker 1: faith the way I'm walking in faith. But my thing
- 6:25Speaker 1: in the morning is just to remind those that is
- 6:28Speaker 1: not a perfect walk, man, that it's not something that's
- 6:32Speaker 1: set up where you're gonna be skipping through life scot
- 6:36Speaker 1: free without any pitfalls. You know. I keep saying it
- 6:39Speaker 1: over and over and over again, because, like I said,
- 6:41Speaker 1: when I was in DC, my boy Hondo said this
- 6:45Speaker 1: to me, and it just kind of stuck with me
- 6:47Speaker 1: that the road to construct, the road to successes always
- 6:51Speaker 1: under construction. You have to figure and count on the
- 6:56Speaker 1: setbacks and the pitfalls. But it's those people that that
- 7:00Speaker 1: that that fight through will be the victors in the end.
- 7:04Speaker 1: You cannot give up, man, Stop going somewhere sitting down.
- 7:09Speaker 1: Every time something goes down. It's going to go down.
- 7:13Speaker 1: It's a part of it. It's going to happen. It's
- 7:16Speaker 1: going to occur that are going to be setbacks. If
- 7:20Speaker 1: you go and sit down every time there's a setback,
- 7:24Speaker 1: that's not how this works. Please understand it is designed
- 7:30Speaker 1: that way. If success were easy, everybody would be successful.
- 7:37Speaker 1: But success is just reserved for those who are willing
- 7:40Speaker 1: to fight through, who refuse to settle for mediocrity, who
- 7:45Speaker 1: wants something more. Now, don't get me wrong. Success is
- 7:49Speaker 1: defined by each individual. So what I may consider to
- 7:53Speaker 1: be successful, you may not consider that. You know what
- 7:57Speaker 1: Bill Gates considers successful. I might not what Michael Jordan
- 8:02Speaker 1: considers successful. I might not consider what you consider successful.
- 8:06Speaker 1: Your boss might not consider. You have to define what
- 8:09Speaker 1: that is for yourself. It may not be monetary at all.
- 8:14Speaker 1: You know, your level of success could be tied up
- 8:17Speaker 1: in community service. It could be tied up in family.
- 8:20Speaker 1: It could be tied up into church. Your level of
- 8:23Speaker 1: success could be tied up into boys clubs. It could
- 8:27Speaker 1: be any number of things. Whatever your level of success is,
- 8:32Speaker 1: you have to determine what that is you and the
- 8:34Speaker 1: best way to determine that is to get in touch
- 8:38Speaker 1: with your maker, who created you, to find out what
- 8:41Speaker 1: your mission and your purpose is so he can put
- 8:45Speaker 1: you on track. I just had this conversation with my
- 8:49Speaker 1: son and we were talking about getting on the path
- 8:52Speaker 1: that God has set up for you. So many times
- 8:56Speaker 1: we find ourselves fighting through life because of so much
- 9:00Speaker 1: much uncertainty, because we have no idea where we're headed.
- 9:05Speaker 1: It's like one of my own sayings that I have
- 9:10Speaker 1: at my mentoring camp for boys is is that a
- 9:14Speaker 1: boy without a male role model is like an explorer
- 9:18Speaker 1: without a map. See if you don't have a map
- 9:24Speaker 1: laid out in front of you of where you're going
- 9:28Speaker 1: when you wake up every day, that pretty much explains
- 9:32Speaker 1: the feeling of confusion. The laxidaisical attitude, the lack of purpose,
- 9:40Speaker 1: to not understanding your mission because you don't have not
- 9:45Speaker 1: gotten in touch with your creator. To find out exactly
- 9:49Speaker 1: what your path in life is. What are you supposed
- 9:53Speaker 1: to be doing? The moment you can identify that is
- 9:56Speaker 1: the moment that you get started waking up with purpose,
- 10:00Speaker 1: with a sense of direction. When you kill the sense
- 10:04Speaker 1: of I don't know what's next or what to do. Now,
- 10:07Speaker 1: there's going to be some confusing moments no matter what happened,
- 10:10Speaker 1: it's going to be some uncertainty. But at least you'll
- 10:12Speaker 1: know where you're going. So if you're tied a waking
- 10:15Speaker 1: up feeling loss, abandoned, confused, don't know what to do,
- 10:20Speaker 1: don't know what you're supposed to be doing, refer back
- 10:25Speaker 1: to your makeup. Because when he created you, he had
- 10:29Speaker 1: a plan for you. When he created you, he had
- 10:32Speaker 1: a path for you. Now we've made some decisions to
- 10:36Speaker 1: get off of both of those, the mission and the path.
- 10:39Speaker 1: But God can get you right back on track. Do
- 10:43Speaker 1: that today, Talk to him about it, ask him what
- 10:46Speaker 1: you're supposed to be doing, and listen, God has all
- 10:51Speaker 1: the answers if you form the relationship. Okay, all right,
- 10:56Speaker 1: let's go show, ladies and gentlemen, but have your attention please.
- 11:06Speaker 1: This is the Steve Harvey Morning Show and it's about
- 11:09Speaker 1: to be like this hill in case you thought, you know,
- 11:14Speaker 1: we're about to do something different. What's up, Sherlan? Hey,
- 11:16Speaker 1: Steve getting no prehill? Call what's happening Steve Crew? What
- 11:21Speaker 1: it is? Junior Morning, Lorning, Tommy, tom nephew, Tommy coma. Yeah,
- 11:31Speaker 1: three or for him to come to work, y'all. Way,
- 11:33Speaker 1: don't about which one. We're gonna get them? Three different people,
- 11:39Speaker 1: a lot of people going around. Oh this boy is Tripola? Goodness,
- 11:45Speaker 1: I care to night? Yeah? Here a little different, y'all.
- 11:48Speaker 1: It's been interested. Oh man, Yeah, who is that person
- 11:53Speaker 1: that's sure when your money misses? What's his name? You're
- 11:56Speaker 1: seeing him? Yeah? For everybody in the room. Say the
- 12:02Speaker 1: promoters say they ain't they ain't got the money? What
- 12:06Speaker 1: what now? Come on, you can do it better, Junior.
- 12:14Speaker 1: That's how I said it. I came back and real
- 12:16Speaker 1: I had just started coming. Timmy had took me out
- 12:18Speaker 1: of the road. I ain't been doing maybe about maybe
- 12:20Speaker 1: a year and a half. Hey, timing, timingmoter say he
- 12:24Speaker 1: ain't got the money? What we do? What what? Boy?
- 12:29Speaker 1: Stay in this room. This is the instructions he gave me.
- 12:32Speaker 1: Stay in this room. Don't come out until I knock
- 12:35Speaker 1: on this dought like a hurricane. Ye it was. I'm
- 12:40Speaker 1: sure it was hurricane. Man. That's probably the one thing
- 12:45Speaker 1: you can't do to us standing up, because the only
- 12:48Speaker 1: reason I'm out here for this check. This is how
- 12:50Speaker 1: we at man. Yeah, I didn't. I didn't come out
- 12:52Speaker 1: here just to entertain. I need this check. I got
- 12:56Speaker 1: some stuff I got to do back at the house.
- 12:59Speaker 1: But you know what, Steve, they used to say. They
- 13:01Speaker 1: said that that's how Aretha Franklin was. She got paid
- 13:05Speaker 1: in cash. That's why you see that person when you
- 13:08Speaker 1: pay her in cash. Let me tell you something, the
- 13:11Speaker 1: old school, right, they don't play that. But the Queen
- 13:16Speaker 1: of Soul. You wouldn't even think that about. You think
- 13:18Speaker 1: they'd have won. Why the show has not started? Yeah,
- 13:21Speaker 1: the money has not been fast. I was amazed one
- 13:26Speaker 1: time in the Bahamas. He didn't go out. He can't
- 13:30Speaker 1: go out. Got his money? You don't give him his
- 13:33Speaker 1: money before need to rest up. I walk out that
- 13:38Speaker 1: out before I let go, Before I let go, I
- 13:42Speaker 1: got to just take this half and going back to
- 13:44Speaker 1: the house. We got round trip tickets. We're back. Before
- 13:48Speaker 1: I walk up here and start nothing, No I've only
- 13:57Speaker 1: not gotten paid twice. Have you ever held out like, wait,
- 14:01Speaker 1: let me made the show? Wait, have you ever done that? No,
- 14:04Speaker 1: because the audience doesn't know. Yeah, and so I always
- 14:07Speaker 1: had to respect crowd, so I'm always gonna go out. No.
- 14:11Speaker 1: I had a guy named Paul that didn't pay me.
- 14:14Speaker 1: He said, I just didn't make enough. I'm not paying you.
- 14:19Speaker 1: JT came in there, said dog. He say he ain't
- 14:21Speaker 1: paying me, and Bone went in. Now, oh goodness, yeah,
- 14:31Speaker 1: coming up with thirty thirty two after the hour, guys
- 14:35Speaker 1: and trending stories. New York City is banning hot dogs
- 14:38Speaker 1: and process meat. Wow, we'll talk about it when we
- 14:42Speaker 1: come back right after this You're listening show, Did you
- 14:48Speaker 1: guys hear that the city of New York is banning
- 14:51Speaker 1: hot dogs now, and not only hot dogs, process meat. Okay,
- 14:56Speaker 1: I'm worried because we lived in New York a long time. Yes,
- 14:59Speaker 1: And that's all I ate was those hot dogs off
- 15:02Speaker 1: the street. And there was a certain bick his hand.
- 15:05Speaker 1: You ain't got a lot you got you're gonna be
- 15:08Speaker 1: all right, but you're gonna be sick. Why you hit it?
- 15:11Speaker 1: And then when you were living uncle used to boil
- 15:14Speaker 1: the hot dogs soup and give me the water. I
- 15:17Speaker 1: told you it was a soup. Yeah, yeah, And he
- 15:22Speaker 1: got crackers. He gets crackers with it. History with sick
- 15:27Speaker 1: a long time and day. So anyway, they're banning hot
- 15:30Speaker 1: dogs and processed meats to improve the climate. Now hot
- 15:36Speaker 1: so hot dolls killing the climate. You know what it
- 15:39Speaker 1: did to us this Yeah? Yeah. New York City will
- 15:42Speaker 1: be the first city in the US to eliminate processed meats.
- 15:46Speaker 1: Mayor Bill de Blasio approved an ambitious fourteen billion dollars
- 15:50Speaker 1: Green New Deal on Monday, April twenty second to combat
- 15:54Speaker 1: climate change. The plan will cut purchases of red meat
- 15:58Speaker 1: by fifty percent and it's controlled facilities such as hospitals, schools,
- 16:03Speaker 1: and correctional facilities. The new commitment bills off of the
- 16:08Speaker 1: Meatless Monday's campaign that was adopted by all New York
- 16:11Speaker 1: City schools in twenty seventeen. The mayor said that livestock
- 16:16Speaker 1: farming produces twenty to fifty percent of greenhouse emissions. So
- 16:20Speaker 1: now hashtag meatless Mondays are in full effect. More fruits
- 16:24Speaker 1: and vegetables. What do you think, Steve Well, I mean,
- 16:27Speaker 1: you know that's crazy. It does help you the more fruit,
- 16:31Speaker 1: fruits and vegetables you add to your diet, it just
- 16:34Speaker 1: helps you because meat doesn't have fiber. Fruits and vegetables
- 16:39Speaker 1: have fiber. Fiber is really good for your digestive track.
- 16:43Speaker 1: It helps it a loan great. If you don't have
- 16:46Speaker 1: an adequate amount of that, you're going to suffer with
- 16:49Speaker 1: digestive problems. Meat is more difficult to process. So I
- 16:54Speaker 1: think it's a good thing. You know, you can't force
- 16:56Speaker 1: it on everybody, but I do think it's a good thing. Well,
- 16:59Speaker 1: I'll say this, Steve. I agree it is a good
- 17:01Speaker 1: thing maybe to eliminate some meat in your diet, But
- 17:05Speaker 1: then a lot of times they cook the vegetables till
- 17:08Speaker 1: they're beyond dead, I mean, until they have no nutritional
- 17:12Speaker 1: value whatsoever. Well, is it the same thing when you
- 17:14Speaker 1: cook a steak and they say you cook it well done?
- 17:16Speaker 1: Isn't it like completely Yeah? Yeah, But I'm just saying,
- 17:20Speaker 1: you know, if you're gonna eat fruits and vegetables, yeah
- 17:23Speaker 1: you got, you gotta took them differently. I think the
- 17:26Speaker 1: city of New York will not a hot dog steak
- 17:29Speaker 1: that don't make no thing. I wish a Philadelphia be
- 17:34Speaker 1: not to do it. Yeah, I think it's gonna be
- 17:40Speaker 1: a little tough to enforced, but well, out on the
- 17:42Speaker 1: street you could do it. But there's so many other
- 17:45Speaker 1: things they have out their chicken uh yuros, you know,
- 17:50Speaker 1: beef products, you know. But but we lived in LA
- 17:53Speaker 1: you're telling me you're taking a lot of jobs when
- 17:54Speaker 1: you can just a lot of jobs. People that sell
- 17:58Speaker 1: the hot dogs. Yeah, those vendors, I guess, well years
- 18:03Speaker 1: ago if you saw how they store it through hot dogs.
- 18:06Speaker 1: I haven't eat the hot dog up the street in
- 18:08Speaker 1: New York. I can't even tell you with and I
- 18:11Speaker 1: saw that special about how they stored all that food underground. Whoa,
- 18:19Speaker 1: I'm out. Well, you know, I grew up in Chicago.
- 18:21Speaker 1: Steve so Polish sausages real big in Chicago, with all
- 18:28Speaker 1: the onions. I haven't eaten one of those since I
- 18:30Speaker 1: was a small shop. I just had a Polish boy
- 18:34Speaker 1: three weeks ago. They used to be so especially from
- 18:38Speaker 1: the West Side and the great Yes girl, yes, yes, yes,
- 18:41Speaker 1: where you going Chicago? After the club Club? Well, we
- 18:45Speaker 1: used to go to u Booth Island right, hey, Yale, Yeah,
- 18:49Speaker 1: Jewishtown though, right, Yeah, to get the shrimp Maxwell Street.
- 18:53Speaker 1: They call it. The shrimp looked like your whole throne. Yes,
- 18:56Speaker 1: steve from the base all the way to the tip top.
- 19:00Speaker 1: That's the But it was mostly battered it. It was
- 19:04Speaker 1: mostly batter You're right, it was mostly bad dogs. But
- 19:07Speaker 1: I used to get the frog legs out of that.
- 19:10Speaker 1: The thought of a frog, I can't eat it. The
- 19:13Speaker 1: thought of chidlings. I mean, let's you have before when
- 19:17Speaker 1: I was little kermit. It's not kermit, right, yeah, but
- 19:27Speaker 1: everybody says they taste like chicken. Yeah, what does frogless?
- 19:32Speaker 1: Not really? But I've had them a couple of times
- 19:35Speaker 1: in New Orleans. Okay, okay, you know in New Orleans
- 19:39Speaker 1: you're supposed to be to eat anything. It don't matter.
- 19:42Speaker 1: I'll tell you what. I'll tell you what. I had
- 19:45Speaker 1: frog legs in Paris when we were in Paris. Yeah,
- 19:50Speaker 1: I had rabbit and frog legs. I ordered double dish.
- 19:54Speaker 1: I had rabbit and at the at the hotel that
- 19:56Speaker 1: Chal came over, I was standing, yeah the last summer
- 20:00Speaker 1: rabbit y? Yeah? And how was that? It wasn't frog?
- 20:06Speaker 1: I was did a little bit of Parish frogs like
- 20:23Speaker 1: these must be no jumping as I was even with
- 20:29Speaker 1: my front teeth that was it? How was the rabbit
- 20:36Speaker 1: a rapper? Was pretty good? Rabbit on? What else? Yeah? Gator? Yeah,
- 20:40Speaker 1: gator though plentic wildhall was like a boar boar here. Yeah,
- 20:48Speaker 1: I've seen a frat brother. Who what people don't eat squirk? No,
- 20:51Speaker 1: people don't eat squirrels do that? What? What must be
- 20:55Speaker 1: out your mind? Shill squirrel? Big business sheryls squirrel? Stuw what?
- 21:02Speaker 1: I've never cursin to? Raccoon? Raccoon? What about? I know
- 21:11Speaker 1: what I was gonna ask you? What about opossum? You've
- 21:15Speaker 1: had that possum? Groundhold wood, Chuck, I've never had that.
- 21:24Speaker 1: I don't know about look like a red Matt. He
- 21:27Speaker 1: doesn't look like he a rad Matt? You mean a
- 21:30Speaker 1: mad rad. As fascinating as all of this is, we
- 21:35Speaker 1: gotta go and uh coming up more fun with the
- 21:37Speaker 1: nephew and run that break back right after this. You're
- 21:41Speaker 1: listening ste show coming up at the top of the
- 21:46Speaker 1: hour and entertainment news. Houston hip hop artist bund stands
- 21:50Speaker 1: his ground against a home invader and the coach who
- 21:54Speaker 1: faked Lori Laughlin's daughter's athletic profile. Pleads guilty, but right
- 21:59Speaker 1: now in the building Oh, yeah, he's in the building
- 22:02Speaker 1: to run that prank. Fact, why taking so long? Why
- 22:05Speaker 1: are we waiting on that so long? Yeah? You know
- 22:07Speaker 1: they got to build and get their case just and R.
- 22:09Speaker 1: Kenned it was immediate. Why is this taking so yeah? Yeah,
- 22:15Speaker 1: just wait right? What you got PC Prostate chuckle? Hu,
- 22:23Speaker 1: anybody need it? It's a new business. I got one,
- 22:29Speaker 1: but I check you anyway from State Schucker running cat.
- 22:32Speaker 1: Thank you. Hello. Hello, I'm trying to reach a H
- 22:37Speaker 1: Roger Roger. My name is Greg. I'm a PFC. I

- 32:50Speaker 1: you know which I'm the coach pleaded guilty, but she
- 32:54Speaker 1: pleaded not guilty. That's a problem. Yeah, well that's gonna
- 32:58Speaker 1: be an old issue. They think they think that fighting
- 33:03Speaker 1: it is the best way to go, and they they
- 33:09Speaker 1: may just use them to prove a point. Yeah, you know,
- 33:13Speaker 1: and I'm not sure, like I thought, didn't one of
- 33:16Speaker 1: the other ones say you know, they're gonna played guilty. Yeah, yeah,
- 33:21Speaker 1: she already did. And so they haven't sentenced her. No,

- 33:45Speaker 1: kind of looks like he did because they took his

- 33:51Speaker 1: reports that he was supposed to do some type of
- 33:55Speaker 1: But Jesse's crime wasn't this I'm talking about. Even when

- 34:17Speaker 1: announced his twenty twenty presidential campaign, and he did it
- 34:20Speaker 1: via online video. Everything that has made America America is
- 34:25Speaker 1: at stake. That's why today I'm announcing my candidacy for
- 34:29Speaker 1: President of the United States. Folks, America is an idea,
- 34:34Speaker 1: an idea that's stronger than any army, bigger than any ocean,
- 34:37Speaker 1: more powerful than any dictator or tyrant. It gives hope
- 34:41Speaker 1: to the most desperate people on earth. It guarantees that

- 35:14Speaker 1: the President's very unhappy because he says he thought all
- 35:17Speaker 1: questions about him and his administration ended with the Mulla Report.
- 35:21Speaker 1: The subpoena is ridiculous. We have been I have been
- 35:25Speaker 1: the most transparent president and administration in the history of
- 35:29Speaker 1: our country by far, and I thought after two years
- 35:34Speaker 1: we'd be finished with it. No, now the House goes
- 35:37Speaker 1: in such subpoenaing they want to know every deal I've
- 35:40Speaker 1: ever done well. Don Mighan featured prominently in the section
- 35:42Speaker 1: of the Mullah Report the deal with a struck into Justice,
- 35:45Speaker 1: and Trump's told Pool reporters that his administration is going
- 35:47Speaker 1: to resist all post Muller reports subpoenas, and that he's
- 35:51Speaker 1: also not ready to return over to turn over his
- 35:53Speaker 1: tax returns or business financial records to the Congress. Still there.

- 36:13Speaker 1: quote search for the best gun to kill black people.
- 36:17Speaker 1: The forty nine year old Hassle already faces weapons and
- 36:19Speaker 1: drug charges. He was arrested at Coast Guard headquarters in Washington.
- 36:23Speaker 1: He scheduled to appear in court later today. So sad
- 36:26Speaker 1: In Texas, a thirteen year old African American girl slipped
- 36:29Speaker 1: into a coma and died yesterday after she was jumped
- 36:32Speaker 1: and beaten up by two classmates, one of whom A Leslie,
- 36:35Speaker 1: kicked her in the head. According to her mom, Kashalla Frances,
- 36:38Speaker 1: died yesterday morning at Texas Children's Hospital. A spokesperson for
- 36:41Speaker 1: the Houston Police Department says the incident being investigated as
- 36:44Speaker 1: a homicide, penning in autopsy. More Americans reportedly receiving tax
- 36:48Speaker 1: returns this year than more receiving tax refunds, rather than

- 40:07Speaker 1: back in nineteen ninety eight in Jasper, Texas. Right near Jasper, Texas.
- 40:13Speaker 1: Mister James Bird was a forty nine year old father
- 40:16Speaker 1: of three. He was abducted, he was beaten, he was
- 40:19Speaker 1: chained to the back of the pickup truck and then
- 40:22Speaker 1: dragged down a country road. John William King, forty four,
- 40:27Speaker 1: orchestrated the attack. The other killers were Lawrence Russell Brewer,
- 40:31Speaker 1: who was executed in September twenty eleven, and Sean Allen Barry,
- 40:36Speaker 1: who was serving a lifetime in prison a life sentence.
- 40:40Speaker 1: The Supreme Court refused the last day appeal from King.
- 40:43Speaker 1: Two of the victims, mister Bird's sister and niece, witnessed
- 40:47Speaker 1: the execution. I remember this story, this horrifying story right here,
- 40:53Speaker 1: I mean, really awful. Go ahead, you know, Noah, you know,
- 40:59Speaker 1: I'm not really a proponent of the death penalty, but
- 41:04Speaker 1: because my thing with the death penalty and not this
- 41:08Speaker 1: certainly wasn't the case. But it's so many people on
- 41:12Speaker 1: death row who are innocent, and so they get it
- 41:16Speaker 1: wrong so many times. And uh, I think there has
- 41:19Speaker 1: to be something done, man, when the state gets it
- 41:21Speaker 1: wrong and these people give on fifteen twenty two years
- 41:24Speaker 1: of their life and then we sawry we let you out. Yeah, man,
- 41:28Speaker 1: you gotta have some type of payment, right right, You
- 41:34Speaker 1: build your life, rebuild your life. But in this case,
- 41:37Speaker 1: it was justified, more than justified. Yeah, man. And his sister,
- 41:41Speaker 1: the victim's sister was there and she said it was sad. Yeah,
- 41:44Speaker 1: I bet it was. It was just it's just a
- 41:47Speaker 1: sad situation at the state of the country, what we're
- 41:50Speaker 1: in and what's going on, and what happened to, you know,
- 41:53Speaker 1: her brother, and for her to sit there and witness
- 41:55Speaker 1: her brother's killer, you know, being executed. That's and this
- 42:00Speaker 1: happened back in nineteen nine. We're in two thousan nineteen
- 42:05Speaker 1: Right now, now, neither did I Steve. You know, I
- 42:11Speaker 1: was thinking really maybe ten at tops. No, it's been
- 42:18Speaker 1: twenty years. June seventh, nineteen ninety eight. Mister birds gruesome
- 42:22Speaker 1: flaying led to the Matthew Shepherd and James Bird Junior
- 42:25Speaker 1: Hate Crimes Prevention Act, which was signed by President Obama
- 42:30Speaker 1: back in two thousand and nine. The legislation added crimes
- 42:33Speaker 1: motivated by victims race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation,
- 42:39Speaker 1: gender identity, and disability to the federal hate crime law.
- 42:43Speaker 1: Shepherd was an openly gay college student. He was abducted,
- 42:46Speaker 1: fatally beaten, and tied to a fence in Wyoming the
- 42:50Speaker 1: same year. But in the month of October. October nineteen
- 42:54Speaker 1: ninety eight, you know that just that steel troubles me. Yeah,
- 43:01Speaker 1: that a person just because they who they are, and
- 43:06Speaker 1: you have the audacity not like a person because of
- 43:08Speaker 1: who they are. They You know, this man wasn't trying
- 43:12Speaker 1: to make you be black, This young man wasn't trying
- 43:16Speaker 1: to make you be gay. They were just they were
- 43:19Speaker 1: just being who they were, right. It just sickens me, man,
- 43:26Speaker 1: that we around so many people who can hate you
- 43:29Speaker 1: so much because you be in you that they want
- 43:33Speaker 1: to do something to you, you know, and because you're
- 43:35Speaker 1: different from them, you know, because of the color of
- 43:38Speaker 1: your skin or your sexual orientation. Man, yep, yep, yep, yep, Steve,
- 43:45Speaker 1: it's um, it's really terrible. I mean it really is.
- 43:49Speaker 1: And and some of these things are still going on today,
- 43:53Speaker 1: which makes it even more sad, you know, and horrific.
- 43:57Speaker 1: It just does. You know, in Charlottesville, you know, when
- 44:00Speaker 1: the President said they're good people on both sides, you
- 44:03Speaker 1: have to denounce hate. Yeah, you can't say things like, well,
- 44:08Speaker 1: you know, he doesn't get it. I've given up on
- 44:12Speaker 1: thinking this president it's gonna get the gravity, yeah, of
- 44:17Speaker 1: his position, the sheer weight that it has, and it
- 44:21Speaker 1: calls for I've given up on hope for that. He's
- 44:24Speaker 1: not he's not presidential. He's not ever going to be. Yeah,
- 44:27Speaker 1: he is. He's not that guy. Yeah, Yeah, all right, guys,
- 44:30Speaker 1: it is time to switch gears. Nephew Tommy in the
- 44:33Speaker 1: building with the prank. Yeah, you're right, Frank. Phone call
- 44:38Speaker 1: coming up right after this, you're listening, coming up at
- 44:44Speaker 1: the top of the hour, guys, right about four minutes
- 44:47Speaker 1: after it's my strawberry letter for today subject. He's got
- 44:50Speaker 1: multiple women and babies. But right now the nephew is

- 54:37Speaker 1: all right, Dear Stephen Shirley. My best friend and I
- 54:40Speaker 1: met five years ago and we had a lot of
- 54:42Speaker 1: mutual friends. I had just gotten a divorce and she
- 54:45Speaker 1: was there to console me through the hard times. My
- 54:48Speaker 1: friend's husband is a known cheater in our small city,
- 54:52Speaker 1: but my friends act my friend acts as if they
- 54:56Speaker 1: have a perfect marriage. I've heard that he cheats with
- 55:00Speaker 1: multiple women, and he does it out in the open.
- 55:03Speaker 1: In January, I got a chance to see him cheating
- 55:06Speaker 1: with my own eyes. I was out to dinner with
- 55:08Speaker 1: friends and I saw my friend's husband having dinner with
- 55:11Speaker 1: a female. When the two of them left the restaurant,
- 55:14Speaker 1: they left in his car. This didn't sit well with me,
- 55:18Speaker 1: so I called my friend and told her what I
- 55:20Speaker 1: saw and the name of the lady I saw her
- 55:23Speaker 1: husband with. My friend told me that it couldn't have
- 55:25Speaker 1: been her husband because he was at home with her.
- 55:29Speaker 1: Right after that, her husband called me and told me
- 55:32Speaker 1: I was a single and bitter liar. My friend told
- 55:36Speaker 1: me that she believed her husband, and she stopped talking
- 55:39Speaker 1: to me for three months. Then out of the blue,
- 55:42Speaker 1: I got a call from her and she said she
- 55:44Speaker 1: forgives me for lying on her husband, and she was
- 55:47Speaker 1: happy to announce that she was pregnant. I said, congratulations,
- 55:51Speaker 1: and I was so disgusted that I got off the
- 55:54Speaker 1: phone quickly. You see, while she was not talking to me,
- 55:58Speaker 1: I ran into the lady that was on the day
- 56:00Speaker 1: with her husband, and she too is pregnant by this man.
- 56:04Speaker 1: She knows he's married and a cheater, but she's happy
- 56:07Speaker 1: about having a baby with him. I hate that my
- 56:10Speaker 1: friend's life is being put in danger because he's having
- 56:13Speaker 1: unprotected sex with various women. I love my friend, and
- 56:17Speaker 1: I feel the need to let her know. Or should
- 56:20Speaker 1: I just mind my business this time around and let
- 56:23Speaker 1: her live? Please help? Okay, did you not learn anything
- 56:28Speaker 1: from the first time you got in their business? Let
- 56:31Speaker 1: these people live, Stay out of these people's stuff. Okay,
- 56:35Speaker 1: she doesn't believe you. She doesn't want to hear it.
- 56:38Speaker 1: You know, she stopped talking to you for a whole
- 56:40Speaker 1: three months when you told her about it the first time.
- 56:43Speaker 1: Plus she already knows what her husband is doing and
- 56:47Speaker 1: has been doing. Okay, remember you've only known her for
- 56:51Speaker 1: five years. Okay, you might think you're being a friend
- 56:54Speaker 1: by snitching on her husband and all that but don't
- 56:57Speaker 1: you know that some people just rather live in a
- 57:01Speaker 1: fantasy world, and you know, think that they have this
- 57:04Speaker 1: perfect marriage and everything is unicorns and rainbows and all
- 57:09Speaker 1: of that. They don't want to hear the truth. And
- 57:11Speaker 1: that's your friend. She does not want to hear the truth.
- 57:14Speaker 1: So again, leave them alone. She will end up hating you,
- 57:17Speaker 1: and she will end up blaming you, and your friendship
- 57:20Speaker 1: will be over. Okay, your job is to be the
- 57:24Speaker 1: shoulder to lean on when she needs you, because with
- 57:27Speaker 1: all this going on in the letter, his girlfriend is pregnant,
- 57:30Speaker 1: and his wife is pregnant, all of that. Trust me,
- 57:32Speaker 1: she'll be calling you pretty soon. Steve, Well, I'm tired.
- 57:39Speaker 1: I'm listening to all this hill. He's got multiple women
- 57:46Speaker 1: and babies, multiple women and babies. Now you got this friend, y'all,
- 57:55Speaker 1: friend got mutual friends. You got divorced. She could sold
- 57:59Speaker 1: you through some hard Now you say that your friend's
- 58:02Speaker 1: husband is a known cheat in our small city. I
- 58:08Speaker 1: don't know how big a city we're talking about, but
- 58:12Speaker 1: this sound like one of them. Everybody knew everybody cause
- 58:16Speaker 1: your friend acted like they got this perfect marriage. Now
- 58:18Speaker 1: we're gonna get back to this small city I have
- 58:22Speaker 1: heard that he cheats with multiple women, and he does
- 58:26Speaker 1: it out and open. But then in January, she got
- 58:29Speaker 1: a chance to see it for her own eyes. This
- 58:34Speaker 1: woman that wrote the letter was at dinner with some friends,
- 58:36Speaker 1: and you saw her friend's husband having dinner with a female.
- 58:40Speaker 1: When the two of them left the restaurant, they left
- 58:42Speaker 1: in his car. And this didn't sit well with me.
- 58:45Speaker 1: So what did you do? You do? What a lot
- 58:46Speaker 1: of women do? You got in there? So you went
- 58:51Speaker 1: on and you called your friend and told her what
- 58:55Speaker 1: you saw with your own eyes. Girl, And the name
- 59:01Speaker 1: of the lady that I saw her husband went at
- 59:03Speaker 1: this small town, we know everybody because now she not
- 59:08Speaker 1: only knows the lady, she knows the lady whole damn name.
- 59:13Speaker 1: This was that night. She didn't go check on it.
- 59:17Speaker 1: This was that night. I'm a Jean Wilson's who the
- 59:24Speaker 1: hell he was at? Now? Here where it get interested?
- 59:30Speaker 1: Right after you told her what you had just saw,
- 59:32Speaker 1: your friend told you that it couldn't have been her
- 59:35Speaker 1: husband because he was at home with her. Now I
- 59:42Speaker 1: think your friend is lying for him, just flat outline,
- 59:49Speaker 1: because of you. I don't know how long it was.
- 59:51Speaker 1: Let me see if I see. So I called my
- 59:53Speaker 1: friend and told her what I saw, saying, I don't
- 59:55Speaker 1: know if you was on your cell phone. I don't
- 59:58Speaker 1: know if you waited till you got her. I don't
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: know what you did. But somehow he got this crazy woman.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: He married you thinking he was dad a whole damn time,
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: So it couldn't have been because he was home with her.
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: Right after that, her husband called me. Now here where
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: it gets good? How her husband get your number? How
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: small is this town? Y'all? Y'all stay in the same apartment?
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: And then your husband hear her husband call you and
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: told me you were single and a bit of lie.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: My friend told me she believed her husband and she
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: she could talking to me for three months. Okay, you
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: need to break off this friendship. Now she crazy? Then
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: after Blue, Now this is what crazy people do. Don't
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: call me, stop talking to me. Then after Blue, I
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: got a call from her and she said she forgives
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: me for lying on her husband in your ass one
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: line though, and she was happy to announce that she
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: was pregnant. Who did I miss something? Hey girl? How

- 1:02:16Speaker 1: her husband out, saw this woman's husband out having dinner
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: with another woman who she knew exactly who. The woman
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: was called a girlfriend, and toller, I just saw your
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: man having dinner with a girl. She told her. Can't
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: be right here this house with me. Now you're sitting

- 1:03:14Speaker 1: friendship go. But then out the blue you got a
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: call from him. She told you, now, this is a
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: crazy person. Now that crazy person and stopped talking to
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: you for three months. Then out the blue calls you
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: and tells you she forgives you for lying on her

- 1:04:37Speaker 1: I hate that my friend's life is being put in
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: danger because he's having unprotected sex with various women. That's
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: that's a good point right there. It is okay. I

- 1:11:55Speaker 1: the nicetion for this fight. Right, I'm so happy right
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: now it's own and popping. Listen, everybody. First of all,
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: the Democrats, they just need to stop talking because some
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: of this. Everybody know they hustling. Everybody know they hustling. Okay,
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: Bernard Sanders say, uh, if you're in jail even for
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: a Hanish crime. Now you know you lost all the
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: white people when you said the Boston Marathon, Obama can vote, Yeah,
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: you know, right, then ye don't do that. Stop handing
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: them to vote. See, I know how the Republicans act.
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: It's used to be willing horton. Remember they had to
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: will it or it stuff. That's how they did do cocus.
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: They did do cocus. They did the thing where the
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: boy got out he killed some people and they blame
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: that on do cocus. Stop handing it to him. And
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: then the Democrats need to get in the room. And
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: then y'all need to figure out how we gonna beat
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: this dude together. Now, some of y'all ain't gonna get elected.
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: Some of y'all needed could say, well, I just need
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: to be in the cabinet. You know what I'm saying,
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: because Elizabeth Warren, You're not gonna be able to go
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: get money from rich people to pay for education. I'm
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: not gonna say that right now. I just got the wealth.
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: You can't get off the money from Listen, she needs
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: to be secretary of education. But stop doing that because
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: that ain't gonna work. That ain't gonna work. And then
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: all the other boodolge. You need to deal with gentrification
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: and everything else that's going on. What is for? But
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: see why am I listening to them talking about? If
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: you how they're gonna pay for all these kids education?
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: Is they gonna take more taxes from everybody making over
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: That's right, that's right, that's right, that's and that's not
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: the way to do it. Man. You can't keep punishing
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: these people for doing better. That's right. It has to
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: be another way. You can't punish people who who are
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: trying to be successful, who how people? That's right, That's
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: that's exactly right, that's exactly right. You can't punish me
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: for achieving. But in all, these people care about education
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: so much. I ain't heard nobody talk about why people,
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: these new gentrified people seem to think Howard University is
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: a dog park. See anybody talking about that at all?
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: Where they walk their dog up the Howard University and
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: let the dog defecate on the land of Howard University.
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: And then the dude in the video say, why don't
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: you move to school? Damn that. See everybody's going to
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: the outskirts. They're going to the outskirts, They're going to
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: the talking point. Why don't you get real? Why don't
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: you talk about how somebody driving in the car do
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: what the police say, they still get shot. They don't
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: care what color the police is. Why don't you deal
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: with that? Don't go to the platitudes, go to the
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: plausible and the real. And I want to tell Joe Biden,
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: don't try to change yourself for nobody. Be what we
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: need to get you elected. Then I need you to
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: pick Kamala Harris as your vice president. People say you
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: ain't supporting Kamala list. I need a winning team. I
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: need her to be trained, and then I need her
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: to be ready. Then we keep the White House. We're
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: gonna do what we need to do. Kamala don't get
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: mad at me, girl. I'm just saying I think, you know,
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: white man, white man, I think Joe Biden got the
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: best shot. I think I think white man, white man.
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: I think Joe Biden got the best shot to beat Trumps.
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: I do. Sorry, did I go too far? Call? All right, Cheryl?
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: Thank you. We gotta get out here. Coming up at
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: the top of the hour, it is Carla's Reality update.
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: Right after this you're listening getting ready to getting ready.
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: She is here, the one and only Carla Farrell with
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: what Reality up? All right? Thank you that for you.
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: Here we go what episode three O the Real Housewise? Great?
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: Put us going on a vengeance? Don't have this many episodes?
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: I thought we was at the reunion. Yeah we are,
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: part three. This is this whole season right right, Tommy
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: the conclusion? All right, So recap of the Bye Wig
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: party and closet gate. So I remember when Porsche and
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: Katie wanted to go into Nini's closet and Nini pulled
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: the cameraman's shirt to stop him from going into her closet. Well,
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: what we didn't see was that the cameraman had to
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: go to the hospital after all that he had scratches,
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: his tooth got chipped. And then Nini she's watching the clip.
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: You know how in the reunion show they showed the
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: scenes from the season, so she's watching the clip and
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: after that she said, well, the one thing I regretted
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: was that I was cursing so much the man went
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: to the hospital. Yep too, you say, we got old
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: weak as cameraman. You regretted profanity. That's what you crazy
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: do it for me, Junior. No, no, no, that's exactly
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: like what in the world, Ninie, And she was mad
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: at Andy for even bringing it up. And then finally, well,
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: you guys, Cynthia and Nini they have ended their friendship. Yes, no, yeah,
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: come on, And Cynthia seemed to be just fine with it.
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: She was like tired of it. Yeah yeah, she said,
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: you know, she's just tired. It's exhausting Beannini's friend. Nini
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: felt betrayed by Cynthia because Cynthia didn't tell Nini that
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: Kenya was coming to her cocktail drink launch party. And
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: then Cynthia and Candy they were It was a scene
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: where Candy was miked and she was saying, hey, I'm
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: being miked and Cynthia was trying to say, I just
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: want to make sure that we're on the same page,
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: and we're gonna say, you know, the same thing to
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: Nini about agreeing that Cynthia really did not know if
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: Kenya was gonna come to the party. She invited her
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: to the party, but she never confirmed that she was
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: going to actually be there. And Andy's Andy said, well,
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: bothered him was that Cynthia whispered in her boyfriend's sky
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: and Steve, you know, Mike Hill, she whispered in his
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: ear at the party that she was supposed to act
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: like she didn't know that Kenya was coming to the party, right,
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: Cynthia just basically said, it doesn't matter what it looked
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: like on camera or the editing or anything like that.
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: It may have looked like betrayal, but that's not what
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: it was. So they're not friends anymore. And it's a rap.
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: It's a rap. Whisper reality TV breaks up more friendship
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: friend No, it's horrible and those they've been through a lot,
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: Cynthia and Nini, And so here we are again, and
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: Cynthia seems truly hurt by the friendship. She was very
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: loyal to Nini and for Nini to end it like that.
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: So we're abruptly on a misunderstanding it Cynthia saying it's
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: a misunderstanding, miscommunication. I don't know, that's just just a
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: little rough. Yes, I think that Cynthia should have told Ninie, yeah,
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: your girl might stop by. Yeah, I'm not mad at
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: Nani's point on that. You could have told me that
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: your girl might stop by. So but I don't think
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: that's the reason to end the friendship. So that's that.
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: We will wait till next season for that. So let's
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: go to We talked about being Mary Jane yesterday, but
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: let's talk about and I was great. You know Mary
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: Jane at the end of the day, she's a mom
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: and she married Michael Eally justin character, and I was
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: the series finale of that show. Gabrielle Union's married to Dyne,
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: Mary Jane Paul is married to justin play. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: before we run out of the time, Game of Thrones,
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: we all love the show. Here on give it to me.
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: I am going to pass it to my partner crime,
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: mister Steve us Hell. We are welcome to the Game
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: of Thrones Review, better known That's got We got it
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: as we passing into it, and we're preparing for episode
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: number three. Let us review Episode number one was nothing.
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: It did absolutely nothing to wait an entire all season
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: set up to get caught up. No one cares about
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: the setup. Damn the setup. Let's get on with the killing. Well,
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: it's damn damn whitewalker. There. I've noticed that it has
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: begun to snow in Winterfield. Yes, o, Lanisters and John snow,
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: and some things have been discovered that John know. It's
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: now the awl to the Golden So now he found
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: out his mama wasn't his mama, and his daddy wasn't
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: his daddy. And he got these two other people that
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: he thought they were named aunts. Well, and your uncle
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: that ain't your uncle, that's your damn daddy. Just don't
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: sound like a black family, you tell me. Then, on God,
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: little man around trying to organize everybody, keep everything straight.
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: He struggled to do with the one hand is gold
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: and Jamie the fingers that don't move. How he think
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: we don't know that's a fake hand. He had never
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: seen him scratch his head with that standing hand. He's
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: about to get his whole ran out of town and
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: hung possibly and out of know where, the queen of
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: Game of Throne, the biggest game on the throne, Big Huger,
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: steps forward and presses legitimacy upon the Golden handboy and
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: legitimizes him with authority and says that I vouched for him.
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: He's a good man. So the Lady Dragon, which was
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: gonna put him out there in front of them dragons
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: and let him fry his hand, decided not to fry Hill.
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: The little man came over there and predicted that someone
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: else will be wearing the hand, probably the dude that
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: got all his Johnson and stuff then cut off years
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: ago the ball here, dude, that's the little dude that
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: ain't got no pass. You're talking about the eunuch. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: now that ain't the little one, the pretty boy. This
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: is the old one, you're right, yeah, yeah. And so
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: as we approached the end of this break that brings
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: us up to where we need to episode three. Yeah,
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: and let's be looking old. By the way, in episode two,
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: the little boy looking girl and took her clothes off
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: and still look like a boy. Moving back with more
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: of this ignorant show. Right after this, you're listening to

- 1:24:47Speaker 1: goes on to say this man gave a tribute to
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: his friend, longtime and fellow comedian, the one and only
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: Cedric the Entertainer today meaning yesterday on his birthday. Happy birthday,
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: by the way. The tribute that he gave was so moving.
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: He spoke on their long friendship, his integrity and gift
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: of comedy, among other compliments. It is so rare to
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: see people lifted up like this nowadays, and this was
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: very refreshing, and you could feel the love, respect, loyalty,
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: and sincerity in his words. I think he missed his calling,
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: Steve Harvey. This as a motivational speaker, he mentions God
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: often and credits God with his success. He always speaks
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: positively to people, positivity to people. I admire that and
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: I don't give a darn what anyone says. With that
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: being said, thank you for the inspiration this morning and
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: many other mornings. May God bless you and the host
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: of hilarious folks you are surrounded by that make the

- 1:26:13Speaker 1: it's got a unit. I'm sorry, it's been a tribute.
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: Yea tribute. He's gonna stop the whole show because you think, Well,
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: I ain't just nothing. But that was nice to see. Friendship, loyalty,
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: all those things. Me and his brother, Man, Wow, just
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: been together some critical times for both of us, but
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: especially for me Man because I needed him, because I
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: needed a friend on that show. I ain't really know
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: that much about Hollywood. But then when we toured, Man,
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: we just bonded. You know, we just brothers man, just
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: like all of us. So it was it was good deal.
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: I enjoyed that. I'm glad people appreciate that. Yeah. Yeahs Man,
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: that's what we're all about. Love, friendship, relationship, loyalty, respect,

- 1:29:00Speaker 1: Soul twenty nineteen. All right, all right, Steve Harvey sandonsoul

- 1:29:25Speaker 1: till you hear this story. Houston rapper Bunby stood his
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: ground against a home invader who tried to steal his
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: wife's luxury car. The crook knocked on Bunby's door on
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: Tuesday night. His wife, Queeney, opened it, thinking it might
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: be a package, and instead of a delivery guy, she
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: found a guy with a gun on the other side
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: of the door, demanding valuables. She said he could take
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: the audie in the garage. Bunby was upstairs and heard
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: the entire thing unfold. He grabbed his gun and confronted
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: the thief as he was getting into the car. The
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: two traded shot, and the bad guy dropped his gun
- 1:30:03Speaker 1: and ran away. Yeah, yeah, I mean it was tricky,
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: but you know he was protecting his home, right, Steve.
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: I mean, you can't say nothing. But they called him though, Yeah,
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: they called him a good yeah, because he was still running.
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: But anyway, a few hours later, when someone showed up
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: at an area hospital to be treated for a gunshot
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: wound in the shoulder, UH cops came to book him
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: for two counts of aggravated robbery with the weapon and
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: one count Burglary well being hit him twice. Yeah, but
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: you went to the hospital. Yeah serious, it's two seriously
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: and you know they have to report gunshot. You get
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: shot in the shoulder, you got to go to the hospital. Yeah,
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: that ain't gonna ride it out. Brunby was protecting his
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: home and his wife and uh but US's boy, that's
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: what you get. You go in somebody house with a gun,
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: they do one thing you might you know, Yeah, I know.
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: All right, Steve, we'll come back with our last break
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: of the day and some closing remarks from you right
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: after this. You're listening here. We are last break of
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: the day. Guys. It's been a pretty fun, crazy, crazy
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: ignorant day on this Crazy Ignorant Show. A lot of
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: fun today. But Steve, now it's time to get a
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: little serious and sons something. I got a closing remarks
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: today today. I want to talk to you about something.
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: I was talking with Keer about it and he sent
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: me something and I thought this would be good because
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: this is more of a spiritual a piece of motivation
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: for you. Because I'm talking to people right now who
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: believe that there is a god. I'm talking to people
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: who believe in God. If you're an atheist and all that,
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: I ain't talking to you nobody, you can just turn
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: off right now because I'm pretty sure you won't get this.
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: But if you're a person who knows God but you
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: ain't really that close to it, or you know Him
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: and you believe in Him, but you know, I mean, look,
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: just maybe you ain't been down to church in a while.
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: Maybe you ain't been around no spiritual people in the wild.
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: This is who I'm talking to. I'm talking to myself today.
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: I'm talking to myself about a subject that I need
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: to remind myself of all the time, and I want
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: to remind you of this too. Listen to me. Don't
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: allow God's promises to fall on deaf ears because he
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: talking to you. See this is real when y'all don't
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: allow God's promises to fall on deaf ears because he
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: talking to you. See all of God's promises offer each
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: and every one of us. He's talking to us. Don't
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: get fooled and faith out here in life. That God
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: doesn't forgot about you, that God don't recognize your voice,
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: that God don't seek what you're going through, that God
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: ain't got no feelings for you. That's a trick of
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: the devil. God loves you, man, He created you. God
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: has a space for you in his heart. But you
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: got to call on him. You know how many times
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: even showed up on your behalf without you calling. Imagine
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: what would happen if you had a relationship with him,
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: because all of you know that, no matter how bad
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: your life has been, don't you know, it could have
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: been worse. I talk to inmates all the time. That's man,
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: I'm just feel grateful that I'm sitting here because I
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: could have been dead. I know people in prisoner who
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: have said to me, man, if I hadn't come to prison,
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: I would be dead. I know people man, who just
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: badly escaped going to prison. If it wasn't for just
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: something that happened, I would have been locked up today.
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: Don't you know that was him? Who else was it?
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: You think somebody put a call in? It saved you?
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: Who put a call in and stopped you from getting
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: in that car? Little Steve Harvey, when you were sitting
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: on them steps broke and your boys came by to
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: do this robbery and told you all you had to
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: do and drive. All I had to do was gonna
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: get in the car and they were gonna give me
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: fifteen hundred. That's all I had to do. I wouldn't
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: have to get my coat. My partner's met me on
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: the porch and say, hey, man, this ain't what you do.
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: You're gonna be somebody harve. I don't know what you're
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: gonna be, but you different from us. Let us go
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: on down there. If I get somebody, give you a
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: little something on it, man, but don't get in this
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: car with us, because this ain't you do you know
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: who that was? That was God saving me. That was
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: God administering some grace to me. That was God, man
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: who spared me. Two of them dudes that went down there,
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: they still in prison. I'm on the radio. I'm trying
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: to tell you, go back, take inventory of your life.
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: You can find some way that God has done something
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: for you without you asking. Now suppose you had a
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: relationship with you. So what I'm going to tell you
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: real quickly is don't allow God's promises to fall on death.
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: Is because he talking to you. When he God promised
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: to come to give you life and give you life
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: more abundantly. He talking about you. That's a promise of
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: his He talking about you. When he says that you
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: that you have not cause you asked not. He was
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: talking to everybody. Most people don't have what they want
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: in life because they never asked God for it. It's
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: one of the most important scriptures out there. You have
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: not because you ask not? Why don't you ask him?
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: You keep trying to figure your life out? Why don't
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: you ask him? Trying to figure out the next move?
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: Why don't you ask him? You want a better car,
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: better home, better job, better family? Have you asked him
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: for it? When he said he would lead you beside
- 1:36:15Speaker 1: the steal waters, he was talking about you. Jesus promises
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: he keep making to us, don't let him fall on death.
- 1:36:23Speaker 1: Is because he talking to you. He said he'd be
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: there for you in times of trouble. Who you think
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: he was talking to He was talking to you in
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: his word. He said he would never forsake you. Who
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: you talking? Who you think he talks He was talking
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: to you. That mean he will never leave you. He'll
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: never leave you, man, But we leave him all the
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: time being wonder where he had we left him back
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: over there? He said in his word that he's a healer.
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: He talking about you. Don't let these promises fall on death.
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: Is because he talking to you. He promised that he
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: would make a way out of no way. He talking
- 1:37:06Speaker 1: to you. Hi, this little boy on this radio with
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: this stuttering problem, the one that flunked out of school,
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: the one that's on his third marriage, the one that
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: lost everything you ever owned twice, the one that lived
- 1:37:16Speaker 1: in a car for three years. Hi, He on the
- 1:37:18Speaker 1: radio the day and all over the TV. Because God
- 1:37:21Speaker 1: will make a way out of no way. That's a
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: promise he made. Don't let it fall on death. Is
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: because he talking to you that he would give you
- 1:37:28Speaker 1: the desires of your heart. He talking to you. He
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: wasn't just talking to me that he would never leave you.
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: He talking to you Jesus promises he made that he
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: would protect you from your enemies. That's Isaiah fifty four seventeen.
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: Who you think he was talking to. He talking to you, y'all,
- 1:37:44Speaker 1: have yourself a good weekend. He talking to you. Don't
- 1:37:48Speaker 1: let these promises fall empty, y'all have a great weekend. Hello.
