- 0:15Speaker 4: Black the million bush. Yeah, listen to me, shot.
- 0:39Speaker 3: Joy Yah, yeah, Joy, you gotta do this love. Turn.
- 1:24Speaker 3: You gotta turn.
- 1:31Speaker 5: I got to turn the mouth turn.
- 1:43Speaker 3: You probably got to turn the mouth out turn then
- 1:47Speaker 3: a look, come.
- 1:58Speaker 6: Come out you think, uh, I sure will. Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 6: You are listening to the voice, Come on dig me now,
- 2:07Speaker 6: one and all that. Steve Harvey got a radio show
- 2:13Speaker 6: particular me this morning. Steve Harvey got a radio show
- 2:18Speaker 6: filled with nothing but joy and hope about it too.
- 2:22Speaker 6: You know, it's a great thing to be able to
- 2:23Speaker 6: wake up in the morning with peace in your heart
- 2:26Speaker 6: and joy. Peace and joy is immeasurable. It has a
- 2:32Speaker 6: value attached to it, and I have no idea what
- 2:34Speaker 6: it is. It's invaluable. It is worth so much more
- 2:38Speaker 6: than any amount of money you can make. Peace and joy.
- 2:43Speaker 6: I have not always had that.
- 2:46Speaker 7: I've not always been a peaceful person or a person
- 2:50Speaker 7: who lived his life and enjoy spirit. It took an
- 2:55Speaker 7: arrival at this moment. Some people arrived sooner than others.
- 3:00Speaker 7: I wish I had arrived at this point sooner, but
- 3:04Speaker 7: I think it was necessary for me to learn a
- 3:06Speaker 7: few things too. That's the amazing thing I've learned about
- 3:10Speaker 7: life is that instead of reflecting on your past incidences
- 3:18Speaker 7: and calling them failures, instead of focusing on the negative
- 3:22Speaker 7: and calling them bad times, I look at them now
- 3:27Speaker 7: as experiences. I had to have those experiences that were negative,
- 3:32Speaker 7: that were good, positive, wrong, evil. I had to have
- 3:37Speaker 7: all those experiences to become to shape who we are today.
- 3:44Speaker 7: We all have to have them. If you look back
- 3:47Speaker 7: at all the negative experiences you've had, all the things
- 3:51Speaker 7: that you called failures, all the businesses I started that
- 3:55Speaker 7: went under, all of the jobs I had that I
- 3:58Speaker 7: was fired from, all the shows that were canceled, all
- 4:02Speaker 7: of the times I thought I was gonna get something
- 4:05Speaker 7: happened in my way and turned out I didn't get
- 4:07Speaker 7: it at all. When you look at all of it,
- 4:10Speaker 7: all of it, hopefully along the way, what you have
- 4:14Speaker 7: done as a person is you've taken those negatives and
- 4:18Speaker 7: those failures and you've used them for what they actually are.
- 4:22Speaker 7: They are experiences, and they've now created in you an
- 4:26Speaker 7: experienced person, and you know that is worth something. That's
- 4:33Speaker 7: then it becomes a positive. But what too many people
- 4:37Speaker 7: do is they let the negative things that have happened
- 4:40Speaker 7: in their life. They allow the failures that have happened
- 4:43Speaker 7: in them lives never to manifest themselves as experiences. And
- 4:48Speaker 7: you sit up there and you dwell on it, and
- 4:50Speaker 7: you dwell on it until you have this woe is
- 4:53Speaker 7: me attitude. Stop looking at it like that, y'all. You
- 4:57Speaker 7: go through things in order to become the person that
- 5:00Speaker 7: you are today. I tell you who you sometimes have
- 5:03Speaker 7: to sit down and talk to. Sometimes you ought to
- 5:05Speaker 7: sit down to an inmate that really gets it, an
- 5:09Speaker 7: inmate that says, man, I've actually heard inmates say it
- 5:13Speaker 7: to me and write to me, and they've said things like, man,
- 5:17Speaker 7: come in.
- 5:17Speaker 2: To prison, save my life. Now, those of you have
- 5:20Speaker 2: never got how can he say a thing like that?
- 5:22Speaker 7: But some men, no, Man, I was so far out
- 5:26Speaker 7: there that if I'd have stayed out there, I wouldn't
- 5:28Speaker 7: even be here today. This actually allowed me to stop,
- 5:31Speaker 7: spend some time with myself and learn some things about me.
- 5:35Speaker 7: Now does that happen for everybody?
- 5:37Speaker 8: Like that?
- 5:37Speaker 7: And a but here's a person who has taking an
- 5:40Speaker 7: experience that could be considered a failure or negative and
- 5:43Speaker 7: turn it into a positive and using it to enrich
- 5:47Speaker 7: their lives. You can do it no matter what your
- 5:49Speaker 7: set of circumstances is. I recommend to everybody that you
- 5:52Speaker 7: try changing your outlook in order to change your outcome.
- 5:57Speaker 7: Everything that happens to you that's negative or you can
- 6:00Speaker 7: consider failure their experiences. You've got to go through these
- 6:03Speaker 7: things in order to have the knowledge that you have today.
- 6:06Speaker 7: So I wish that I had come to this arrival
- 6:09Speaker 7: that I'm in now, this place of peace and joy.
- 6:12Speaker 7: But then guess what, I will not know what I know.
- 6:15Speaker 7: I couldnot share some of the things that I'm able
- 6:18Speaker 7: to share if I had not gone through some of them.
- 6:21Speaker 7: And sometimes that's the purpose of them. It's to teach
- 6:24Speaker 7: you a lesson because you know, God has a plan
- 6:26Speaker 7: for you. He really really does, and eventually he can
- 6:29Speaker 7: use you no matter how old you are, and he
- 6:32Speaker 7: can use you no matter how young you are. If
- 6:35Speaker 7: you just say, Okay, I'm ready to hear your plan.
- 6:38Speaker 7: I've tried mine, mine ain't worked out. What's your plan
- 6:41Speaker 7: for me? God, what do you want me to do?
- 6:44Speaker 7: That's why I say every day. Steve already got radio
- 6:47Speaker 7: show y'all, cause, man, I ain't see it coming. I
- 6:50Speaker 7: didn't see that coming. I ain't see this book coming.
- 6:52Speaker 7: I ain't I ain't seen half of the amazing things
- 6:55Speaker 7: that are happened to me. I didn't plan them. I
- 6:58Speaker 7: was sitting there, man and asking God for some direction.
- 7:02Speaker 7: And then I got smart enough to stay watchful, be
- 7:06Speaker 7: a hard worker now because faithful, our works is dead,
- 7:09Speaker 7: and it came. And I'll remind you of this. God
- 7:11Speaker 7: has given all of you a gift. Every last one
- 7:14Speaker 7: of you listening has a gift. God has never created
- 7:17Speaker 7: a soul that he did not provide a gift to.
- 7:20Speaker 7: God gives everyone a gift, and a gift is not
- 7:24Speaker 7: just singing, rapping entertainment. The richer gifts are much more
- 7:29Speaker 7: than that. Teachers are gifted people who really have the
- 7:32Speaker 7: gift of sharing information. That's a gift, you know, and
- 7:37Speaker 7: in that you can become great.
- 7:40Speaker 2: You know, a.
- 7:43Speaker 7: Lot of people think that successful and greatness is the
- 7:46Speaker 7: same thing. Cornell West said it at my daughter's graduation.
- 7:50Speaker 7: He was a spokesperson and he said something so pointed.
- 7:53Speaker 7: He said, don't ever confuse success with greatness. The two
- 7:57Speaker 7: have nothing to do with each other. People determine success
- 8:01Speaker 7: about money and fame and all this here, But greatness.
- 8:05Speaker 7: Greatness ain't got nothing to do with your money. It
- 8:07Speaker 7: ain't got nothing to do with your fame. It's how
- 8:09Speaker 7: you conduct your life. It's how meaningful and significant you
- 8:13Speaker 7: become in your community, at your church, on your job,
- 8:18Speaker 7: to the cub Scout unit that you run, to the
- 8:20Speaker 7: little girl's lives, that you change, that that little center
- 8:23Speaker 7: in the hood where you just one place of hope
- 8:26Speaker 7: to so many people and they come back. And I
- 8:29Speaker 7: used the example of Lou Dazzler who passed away in
- 8:32Speaker 7: La who had the Boys and Girls Challenges Club out
- 8:34Speaker 7: in La. And he wasn't a rich man at all,
- 8:37Speaker 7: and if you walk by him, you wouldn't even know
- 8:39Speaker 7: who he was. But if you look at all the
- 8:41Speaker 7: people who have gone on to become politicians, who have
- 8:45Speaker 7: gone on to become CEOs, who have gone on to
- 8:48Speaker 7: become athletes, that have passed through this man's small building
- 8:51Speaker 7: in the hood in La, he was great.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Trust me, man. Prayer changes things, I said at all
- 8:58Speaker 2: the time. But when you see.
- 8:59Speaker 7: Peopill become successful or great, that somebody praying somewhere may
- 9:04Speaker 7: not even be them. Maybe it's they, Mama. You know,
- 9:06Speaker 7: I think of Tiger Woods and all the greatness he's accomplished.
- 9:09Speaker 7: You know, they always talk about his father and all this.
- 9:12Speaker 7: Here somebody somewhere praying for Tiger Woods. I got cash
- 9:17Speaker 7: money riding on that Tiger Woods. Mama is a praying
- 9:20Speaker 7: woman or something.
- 9:21Speaker 2: My mother was.
- 9:22Speaker 7: She prayed me into this place because she used to
- 9:24Speaker 7: call me all the time praying for you, boy, And
- 9:27Speaker 7: prayer changes things.
- 9:28Speaker 2: It really does.
- 9:29Speaker 7: Try it today. It can change you. It has changed
- 9:33Speaker 7: millions of people. Open up yourself to the greatness that's
- 9:36Speaker 7: in you, because God is giving you a gift. Matter
- 9:39Speaker 7: of fact that you ain't using it. Who fought you
- 9:41Speaker 7: think that is? I'm just telling you you got one,
- 9:45Speaker 7: and if you start praying about it, it'll manifest itself
- 9:49Speaker 7: and you can become one or two things, successful or
- 9:52Speaker 7: great or both.
- 9:55Speaker 2: You can make the decision.
- 9:57Speaker 7: Today morning show, ladies and gentlemen. Another day, another moment,
- 10:08Speaker 7: another gift.
- 10:10Speaker 8: Man.
- 10:10Speaker 7: God is at it again doing his thing, and I'm
- 10:14Speaker 7: so grateful He's the one in charge of all of this.
- 10:17Speaker 7: You know, moon rising, sunsets, sunrise, you know, tide time.
- 10:25Speaker 2: When all that.
- 10:26Speaker 7: I'm glad he's in control of it. I would hate
- 10:29Speaker 7: to see what man would do if they could control
- 10:32Speaker 7: any of that. I'm glad God is in charge of
- 10:35Speaker 7: waking us up in the morning. Because of that moment
- 10:39Speaker 7: of grace, a lot of us are still here. Do
- 10:42Speaker 7: you know if man was in charge of that, you
- 10:44Speaker 7: know what, many of us would not be here. God
- 10:49Speaker 7: is at it again.
- 10:50Speaker 2: This is the Steve Harvey Morning Show, Shirley Strawberry.
- 10:53Speaker 7: Calling for Reil the Mouth of the South, Mississippi, Monarcause Junior,
- 10:58Speaker 7: whose government name is kill Space and the legend that
- 11:02Speaker 7: is nephew Tommy, you old fisherman.
- 11:07Speaker 2: Oh what is he? A gumbo maker?
- 11:10Speaker 1: What do you make?
- 11:10Speaker 2: Y'all? Like grilling barbe He makes something that I can make?
- 11:17Speaker 1: Dumbo?
- 11:19Speaker 8: Now?
- 11:19Speaker 2: What is that y'all always talking about tom? It can
- 11:21Speaker 2: make when y'all go to his house. Oh, so y'all
- 11:26Speaker 2: know what.
- 11:32Speaker 1: The cob that he can.
- 11:37Speaker 3: His turkey doing?
- 11:40Speaker 8: Well?
- 11:40Speaker 7: I was just y'all had talked about. I was just
- 11:42Speaker 7: trying to figure anybody could remember what it was. Really
- 11:45Speaker 7: just talking about money and what he's able to buy.
- 11:48Speaker 7: It's what it sounds like to me, just talking about
- 11:51Speaker 7: Thomas money, his influx.
- 11:52Speaker 1: Of catering when he goes over there that Yeah, but no.
- 11:56Speaker 9: Steve, he can't fry turkey though, so Thanksgiving after.
- 11:59Speaker 7: The beginning, Well I could buy I could fry turkey too,
- 12:02Speaker 7: because I used that butter ball deep fried.
- 12:04Speaker 2: He do it for me. You can't miss with that
- 12:07Speaker 2: butterball deep.
- 12:08Speaker 10: Like regular turkey, Just like regular turkeys the world cook.
- 12:17Speaker 10: I never really fried turkey.
- 12:20Speaker 7: And that's coming from the one that can't cook roasted
- 12:24Speaker 7: off fried turkey.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Well, look at look at God. We're not look at God.
- 12:29Speaker 7: Did she just have an opinion about what cooking method
- 12:33Speaker 7: she preferred to have you had fried turkey?
- 12:37Speaker 1: No, I haven't, but I hear a lot about it.
- 12:39Speaker 1: I think, No, it's far superior than what Then you
- 12:44Speaker 1: think it's what I think.
- 12:46Speaker 2: That's what you think fried chicken?
- 12:48Speaker 1: But yeah, that's what. Yeah, fried turkey chicken. Yeah, I
- 12:53Speaker 1: never regular. It's not bad.

- 14:28Speaker 8: We got a situation here with what's going on. We're

- 16:15Speaker 8: singling people out and your son, you know, it just
- 16:18Speaker 8: seems like he's the one that's doing it.
- 16:20Speaker 11: What's you say?

- 17:55Speaker 11: Whatever, whatever.
- 17:58Speaker 8: For right now, all a man is keep your son

- 18:06Speaker 11: Okay, he he ain't saying away from the pool for
- 18:09Speaker 11: two weeks, and if he do, he gonna come back

- 18:34Speaker 11: And they don't get in the pool too.
- 18:35Speaker 8: Don't kids over there getting them in the pool. Let
- 18:39Speaker 8: me tell you something. Don't you bring them kids over
- 18:41Speaker 8: there and bring them in the pool. No, none of
- 18:43Speaker 8: your children. I don't give it. And what you say,
- 18:46Speaker 8: you said, I'll run your life God get rich. No, lady, listen, lady,

- 21:06Speaker 10: Megan thee Stallion gets a new Madame Tussaug's wax figure
- 21:10Speaker 10: in Las Vegas.
- 21:11Speaker 1: And New York.
- 21:12Speaker 10: And in travel news there will be a massive surge
- 21:15Speaker 10: of travelers this Memorial Day weekend. We'll talk about all
- 21:18Speaker 10: of these stories at the top of the hour, but
- 21:20Speaker 10: right now it is time to ask the clo. This
- 21:25Speaker 10: one's from Melyssa in Chicago. Alyssa writes, my daughter and
- 21:28Speaker 10: I dated the same guy, and she didn't know it
- 21:31Speaker 10: because I've been married to her dad all of her life.
- 21:34Speaker 10: I had to admit to her that I had an
- 21:36Speaker 10: affair as punishment to me. She's still with the guy.
- 21:40Speaker 10: She's twenty eight. So how do I make her leave him?
- 21:44Speaker 13: Huh?
- 21:46Speaker 7: You got a lot of nerves passing judgment. Didn't you
- 21:52Speaker 7: cheat on your husband? Wasn't just an affair?
- 21:57Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 21:57Speaker 12: She did?
- 21:58Speaker 1: Yeah she did.
- 22:00Speaker 2: Now your daughter is dating the same guy.
- 22:05Speaker 3: Uh?
- 22:06Speaker 2: Is he older than your daughter or is he younger
- 22:09Speaker 2: than you?
- 22:11Speaker 7: Uh? And why would you think that she's dating him
- 22:15Speaker 7: just to spite you? Either way, what does leaving the
- 22:22Speaker 7: guy accomplish for you offer her? I don't understand. Therefore,
- 22:29Speaker 7: I'm going to pass on this question and allow it
- 22:33Speaker 7: to simmer in the audience's mind.
- 22:36Speaker 1: Maybe she knows a bad guy or something. All Right,
- 22:39Speaker 1: we're moving on.
- 22:40Speaker 7: But but you dated you know what, Yeah he might
- 22:46Speaker 7: be a bad guy, but you ain't. You ain't the
- 22:48Speaker 7: best person, your damn self. So you know, it's amazing
- 22:57Speaker 7: to me how people forget the mistakes they made. It's
- 23:00Speaker 7: like a lot of times when I'm talking to my son,
- 23:02Speaker 7: I have to remember, man, I tell myself, answer, well,
- 23:06Speaker 7: how are you gonna do something like that?
- 23:07Speaker 2: And then I say to myself, because you did, I
- 23:09Speaker 2: think that the same.
- 23:14Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, Moving on to Liz and the DMV.
- 23:18Speaker 10: Liz says, I was sitting in our hot tub, topless,
- 23:21Speaker 10: in the backyard, and my neighbor said he heard music,
- 23:24Speaker 10: so he came over to see if it was an intruder.
- 23:27Speaker 10: He saw that I was topless, but he started a
- 23:29Speaker 10: whole conversation. Anyway, I will start and all out. I
- 23:36Speaker 10: will start an all out war. If it will, it
- 23:38Speaker 10: should be it will start in all at war. If
- 23:40Speaker 10: I tell my husband what he did, he already hates
- 23:43Speaker 10: this guy.
- 23:44Speaker 1: Should I keep it to myself?
- 23:46Speaker 7: Yes, because your husband gonna hurt this man. But let
- 23:49Speaker 7: me ask you a question, though, when you hear music,
- 23:53Speaker 7: how does that symbolize to you that there's a break
- 23:57Speaker 7: in or danger. Yeah, he looked over there, he saw
- 24:03Speaker 7: you that he heard that music. He know your husband
- 24:07Speaker 7: wasn't came on wasn't home, and he brought his ass
- 24:10Speaker 7: over there. He did that on purpose. Now, I don't know,
- 24:16Speaker 7: you know what I think? What I damn that think
- 24:21Speaker 7: you ought to tell your husband? I really do, because
- 24:23Speaker 7: this dude right here, he out of bounce. You know,
- 24:26Speaker 7: he gonna come over here. I heard music. I thought something,
- 24:30Speaker 7: what bring him over and let's turn that music back
- 24:34Speaker 7: on and that air p two songs?
- 24:42Speaker 2: He already don't like this guy. See.
- 24:48Speaker 7: But now, as women too, you also have to be smart.
- 24:52Speaker 7: Do you jeopardize your husban because your husband gonna go
- 24:55Speaker 7: to jails?
- 24:57Speaker 9: Right?
- 24:58Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 24:59Speaker 2: So you kind of have to weigh it out and
- 25:01Speaker 2: balance it.
- 25:03Speaker 1: And put some privacy shrubbery here.
- 25:07Speaker 7: Here's what I think I should do. I think you
- 25:10Speaker 7: should tell the guy's wife, what do you do.
- 25:14Speaker 2: To get drunk?
- 25:18Speaker 10: You much had to go through a lot to see her,
- 25:20Speaker 10: because I'm thinking that she's not going to just be
- 25:23Speaker 10: out there topless for the world to see.
- 25:27Speaker 7: In the backyard. There's always a view to the other
- 25:30Speaker 7: backyard upstairs in the bedroom window on the back. You know,
- 25:39Speaker 7: it's a lot of hand.
- 25:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 25:44Speaker 1: Have you guys ever seen your neighbors topless?
- 25:48Speaker 7: Not my neighbor if I saw my neighbor topless, I'll
- 25:51Speaker 7: throw up, just hateful, helpful.
- 26:00Speaker 1: Here the neighbors in Germany German?
- 26:02Speaker 2: She racist? Good lord.
- 26:07Speaker 8: Love.
- 26:09Speaker 10: We're moving on to Toya and West Philly. Who says,
- 26:12Speaker 10: I've been with my boyfriend for three years and we
- 26:14Speaker 10: love to skate. We have won a few contests together,
- 26:17Speaker 10: so I assumed we'd start practicing soon for the fall
- 26:20Speaker 10: showcase we're in annually. But he told me he's skating
- 26:24Speaker 10: with the new lady this year because she has better
- 26:26Speaker 10: speed than me.
- 26:27Speaker 1: It's her speed, the only thing he likes.
- 26:30Speaker 7: Wow, women, we told your wife that you're skating with
- 26:37Speaker 7: another lady boyfriend.
- 26:39Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, boyfriend their boyfriend.
- 26:41Speaker 14: Girl skating is serious. Yeah, I like seriously, not the
- 26:51Speaker 14: carefully steve. They back to your skating days.
- 26:55Speaker 7: Yeah, but I can't tell the girl I'm sleeping well
- 26:59Speaker 7: because this other girl got most.
- 27:01Speaker 1: Speed, better seed. Are you insane?
- 27:06Speaker 2: You're too slow? You can't keep up up?
- 27:09Speaker 3: We try to weed this day right.
- 27:11Speaker 2: Dragging your ass around?
- 27:12Speaker 3: Just right.
- 27:13Speaker 1: We've been skating together for.
- 27:15Speaker 7: Three years, three slow ashes, everybody going past us.
- 27:25Speaker 1: It's crazy.
- 27:26Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 27:27Speaker 10: Oh, he's got some splaining to do, all right, Gwendolen.
- 27:35Speaker 10: This is the last one, Steve Gwendolen in Monroe. There's
- 27:39Speaker 10: your name, Tommy Gwendolen. H My eighteen year old grandson
- 27:43Speaker 10: lives with me and I walked in on him having

- 27:49Speaker 10: and over again, and I've forgiven him, but it's bothering him.
- 27:53Speaker 10: How do I help him get past the embarrassment?
- 27:56Speaker 3: No no, no, no, no no no no no.

- 32:59Speaker 10: had built or the commissions of traffic complaints allegedly caused
- 33:03Speaker 10: by the inaugural car and bike showed. Last year, Rick
- 33:07Speaker 10: posted on his Instagram story quote, I love Fayddville so much.
- 33:11Speaker 1: Next year I'm running for mayor. That's right, the.
- 33:14Speaker 10: Boss, Rick Ross running for mayor of Fayetteville. I want
- 33:18Speaker 10: to know how many votes did it actually take? The

- 33:59Speaker 3: Wow.
- 33:59Speaker 2: Yes, y'all don't understand here is it's the jealousy of
- 34:04Speaker 2: the neighbors. They have rights.
- 34:06Speaker 1: Do you know a little bit about this?
- 34:08Speaker 3: Hell?
- 34:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't throw nothing in my house. Man. I
- 34:13Speaker 2: got a neighbor, just I got a neighbor, so evil, evil, racist,
- 34:20Speaker 2: She's so stink bro, She's so unhappy.
- 34:27Speaker 1: She can't stand it.
- 34:29Speaker 2: She hates me.
- 34:31Speaker 7: She don't like that I'm famous. She don't like I'm
- 34:34Speaker 7: on TV. She don't like the other neighbors wanting the
- 34:37Speaker 7: autographs and pictures. She hate all that. Why don't y'all
- 34:42Speaker 7: why do y'all want to ask?
- 34:43Speaker 2: See?
- 34:43Speaker 7: At first she wanted it, okay, because when I first
- 34:47Speaker 7: moved over there, you know, I had been over there
- 34:49Speaker 7: a few years. My book came out. It was number
- 34:51Speaker 7: one Act like they think like a man. She came
- 34:54Speaker 7: next door. That's when he was cool. I gave up
- 34:56Speaker 7: a copy of it and everything. And then she started
- 34:59Speaker 7: noticing we was renovating the house, and she's, well, what
- 35:04Speaker 7: are they doing over there? It's like a construction site.
- 35:07Speaker 7: She has called on me fourteen times. No, no, no,
- 35:16Speaker 7: the city or is talking about own complaints. She called
- 35:21Speaker 7: now oudam bought the house? Now? She told the people
- 35:25Speaker 7: that my house was over the height limit. What it's
- 35:33Speaker 7: probably over the width limit too. Yeah, it's pretty wide.
- 35:36Speaker 7: Now I got something for now?
- 35:39Speaker 8: What?
- 35:40Speaker 2: Yeah? Okay, keep on.
- 35:46Speaker 10: All right, coming up in twenty minutes after the hour,
- 35:50Speaker 10: the NAACP issues a travel advisory for Florida. All right,
- 35:55Speaker 10: listen to this, guys. It says the state has become
- 35:58Speaker 10: hostile to black Americas. We'll talk about it right after
- 36:01Speaker 10: this you're listening.
- 36:04Speaker 1: Morning show.
- 36:06Speaker 10: The NAACP has issued a travel warrant about traveling to Florida.
- 36:11Speaker 10: The NAACP says the state of Florida is quote hostile
- 36:14Speaker 10: to Black Americans. Under Governor Ron DeSantis, he signed legislation
- 36:19Speaker 10: to prohibit collegists from spending public funds on diversity and inclusion.
- 36:24Speaker 10: DeSantis also stopped the Stop the Woke Act Stop the
- 36:28Speaker 10: Woke Act, restricting how workplaces in schools can discuss race,
- 36:33Speaker 10: and blocked AP African American studies.
- 36:36Speaker 1: He claimed it lacked educational value.
- 36:39Speaker 10: NAACP President and CEO Derek Johnson said, under the leadership
- 36:44Speaker 10: of Governor DeSantis, the state of Florida has become hostile
- 36:48Speaker 10: to Black Americans and in direct conflict with the democratic
- 36:51Speaker 10: ideals that our union was founded under. Other leaders have
- 36:55Speaker 10: said that Florida's governor's is focused on eradicating Black Americans
- 37:00Speaker 10: historical contributions to this country.
- 37:03Speaker 7: Listen to me, Governor. It goes against the ideals that
- 37:07Speaker 7: your constitution and country was founded on. Yes, it does
- 37:11Speaker 7: go against that. Yeah, it's against stealing a nation, it's
- 37:16Speaker 7: against institutionalized slavery, it's against a constitution that called black
- 37:22Speaker 7: people three four three fifths of a human being. Yeah, yes,
- 37:25Speaker 7: against all of that. Here's the problem. See a guy
- 37:29Speaker 7: like the Santis who wants to run for president. I'm
- 37:32Speaker 7: telling you right now, this type of evil is next
- 37:35Speaker 7: level because he's trying to move even further right than
- 37:41Speaker 7: a Donald Trump, to even further go to another extreme base.
- 37:48Speaker 7: When you try to erase black history from schools, Yeah,
- 37:55Speaker 7: it's not because you don't want us to learn about
- 37:58Speaker 7: black people. It's because, if you want to, you race
- 38:01Speaker 7: what was done to us, so we can quit bringing
- 38:05Speaker 7: it up. So you're trying to be race the evilness
- 38:11Speaker 7: of this country, of your state, of the whole constitution.
- 38:16Speaker 2: See so.
- 38:17Speaker 7: And but then they coin it in a phrase, call
- 38:20Speaker 7: it a race theory, and they call it all all
- 38:23Speaker 7: of this stuff, so we can stop this division in
- 38:26Speaker 7: our nation, always talking about race.
- 38:29Speaker 2: No, man, that's not what that's for.
- 38:32Speaker 7: You designed it that way to make it sound like
- 38:36Speaker 7: it has a golden purpose to it, but all it
- 38:39Speaker 7: really is Oh, so you can mask what you've done
- 38:42Speaker 7: so you can continue to do the same.
- 38:45Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, And there's no reference point, there's no charge
- 38:50Speaker 2: of law.
- 38:51Speaker 7: You g's gonna race African history, so you can get
- 38:55Speaker 7: back to being the self righteous, all lily white person
- 38:59Speaker 7: that you are.
- 39:00Speaker 2: Like, you just washed white as snow. This is the
- 39:04Speaker 2: devil is busy man.
- 39:05Speaker 1: Yeah, in the state, do the same thing in Texas.
- 39:08Speaker 2: They're doing the same thing in these white folks.
- 39:12Speaker 7: And what you want us to say, man, is some
- 39:15Speaker 7: white folks man that just takes that white to the extreme.
- 39:20Speaker 10: Yeah what, Yeah, all right, what we gotta move on.
- 39:24Speaker 10: I'm coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour.
- 39:27Speaker 10: We'll check your voicemail Steve. Right after this you're listening.
- 39:32Speaker 1: Morning show. It is time now to check Steve's voicemail.
- 39:37Speaker 10: If you would like to leave a message for Steve,
- 39:39Speaker 10: you can call him eight seven seven twenty nine Steve.
- 39:42Speaker 10: You might just hear your call on the air. Let's
- 39:44Speaker 10: go to Johnny Steve, who's a truck driver. He needs
- 39:46Speaker 10: a little relationship advice.
- 39:49Speaker 15: After the Johnny from Mississippi. I'm twenty six years old
- 39:53Speaker 15: and I'm having a bit of a problem right now,
- 39:55Speaker 15: I'm a truck driver, but I'm home every day and
- 39:59Speaker 15: I'm getting ready to get married. So, but my fiance
- 40:02Speaker 15: has a problem with me working.
- 40:04Speaker 8: All the time.
- 40:05Speaker 15: My goal is to make six figures and are really
- 40:08Speaker 15: really close. And on top of that, I'm trying to
- 40:11Speaker 15: write a book in my free time. So I was
- 40:13Speaker 15: wondering if you could give me any advice on trying
- 40:16Speaker 15: to find a balance between time with her and tasting
- 40:20Speaker 15: my host and dreams and work.
- 40:23Speaker 7: Thank you well, brother, That's the phenomenon that most people make.
- 40:28Speaker 7: You're twenty six years old, you're young, You're in your
- 40:32Speaker 7: most important earning years because at least at twenty six,
- 40:37Speaker 7: you set some goals for yourself. You want to make
- 40:40Speaker 7: six figures, you want to write a book, whatever. But
- 40:43Speaker 7: she complaining about you ain't there. Well, see that's the
- 40:48Speaker 7: problem with being a real man. You can't ever get
- 40:52Speaker 7: it one hundred. If you're there, you can't make the
- 40:56Speaker 7: money you need. If you make the money that you need,
- 41:00Speaker 7: you can't be there. So now you got to get
- 41:04Speaker 7: somebody that's a teammate that understands that, yeah, I'm gone,
- 41:08Speaker 7: but me being gone provides a lifestyle for us, you know,
- 41:12Speaker 7: the stuff. Stuff you might enjoy, like, you know, somewhere
- 41:15Speaker 7: to stay, you know, stuff like groceries, you know, just
- 41:21Speaker 7: just you know, you know, maybe you want to go somewhere.
- 41:26Speaker 1: And not walk.
- 41:28Speaker 8: You know.
- 41:28Speaker 2: It's just it's just some.
- 41:30Speaker 7: Things I'm out here trying to accomplish. But see, and
- 41:34Speaker 7: there are teammates who have to get with this program
- 41:37Speaker 7: and understand that. Why would you want a man that
- 41:42Speaker 7: wasn't trying to be nothing? Then when you get one,
- 41:47Speaker 7: you want him to stay home and sit around you. Well,
- 41:50Speaker 7: he can't get it like that. They are not mailing
- 41:54Speaker 7: checks to the house. I have asked them. Your man
- 42:00Speaker 7: is in the go get it business, so let him
- 42:03Speaker 7: go get it. And if you don't understand that, you
- 42:06Speaker 7: really need to check yourself for some wrong with you.
- 42:11Speaker 1: So your advice to Johnny is rod there.
- 42:15Speaker 7: That you're never gonna get achieved perfect balance until you
- 42:20Speaker 7: find the right partner who helps you with that print.
- 42:25Speaker 7: Because if she gonna complain every time you go out
- 42:27Speaker 7: the door, you know you're gonna have a problem, bro, Because.
- 42:32Speaker 2: When you go out the door, man, oh man, it's hard.
- 42:34Speaker 2: Come on, you have to get it all right.
- 42:37Speaker 10: This call us from a female listener Steve, who left
- 42:41Speaker 10: a message about your response to and ask the clo question.
- 42:46Speaker 10: Remember when you suggested that Baskin Robbins create a sexy
- 42:49Speaker 10: ice cream flavor.
- 42:51Speaker 8: Take a listen, I have business and you own the
- 42:56Speaker 8: Steve Robin more than talent. And you are so fanny,
- 43:00Speaker 8: you are so crazy man.
- 43:03Speaker 7: You were saying, how they'll say that bastard Robbins ain't
- 43:07Speaker 7: got nothing on the then basta bastard Robbers can put
- 43:10Speaker 7: this in a pump.
- 43:12Speaker 8: And put it on the menu. And and you was like,
- 43:17Speaker 8: I know they are still allowed.
- 43:23Speaker 7: You want.
- 43:32Speaker 2: Black people laugh? Yeah, I'm talking about man that.
- 43:41Speaker 8: You some.
- 43:44Speaker 3: What come.
- 43:56Speaker 1: And they're laughing so much?
- 43:57Speaker 8: And make that man.
- 44:15Speaker 5: All right.
- 44:18Speaker 10: If you want to leave Stephen message eight seven seven
- 44:20Speaker 10: twenty nine, Steve. Coming up next, it is the Nephew
- 44:23Speaker 10: and the prank phone call for today. Right after this,
- 44:26Speaker 10: you're listening Hard Morning Show. Coming up at the top
- 44:31Speaker 10: of the hour, right about four minutes after, it's my
- 44:34Speaker 10: Strawberry letter for today, and the subject is I want
- 44:37Speaker 10: to see it every time.
- 44:38Speaker 1: Okay, we'll get into it, find out what that's all about.
- 44:42Speaker 2: We know what that's about in just a few but right.
- 44:45Speaker 10: Now, The Nephew is here with today's prank phone call, Nephew,
- 44:48Speaker 10: what you got?
- 44:49Speaker 3: All right?
- 44:50Speaker 12: Before I jump it off, letting you know once again
- 44:51Speaker 12: that the Nephew was coming to Detroit, Michigan, along with
- 44:54Speaker 12: Donielle Rollins, Capone, Red Grant, Kelly Cal's, Tony.
- 44:58Speaker 2: Roberts, Who dra say It's juvenile?
- 45:01Speaker 12: It is Jokes and Jams hosted by Yours Truly Saturday
- 45:03Speaker 12: Detroit is going down at the Fox and tickets are
- 45:06Speaker 12: on sale right now, right now, We're goin to get
- 45:08Speaker 12: into it.
- 45:09Speaker 2: It's called baby Wait. But did you hear that? Baby?
- 45:13Speaker 2: What the baby? Baby?
- 45:17Speaker 8: Wait?
- 45:17Speaker 12: Say baby wait? It is all right, baby wait. Let's
- 45:21Speaker 12: go get them change that shut up boy.
- 45:26Speaker 8: Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach traina please. Yeah, this
- 45:31Speaker 8: is Trina. Trina, My name is Ernest, Ernest Murphy down
- 45:35Speaker 8: here at the bus born with the from the school district.
- 45:38Speaker 8: Your son is devid Am I right, yeah, okay, no,
- 45:43Speaker 8: he's in the fifth grade.
- 45:45Speaker 2: I think.
- 45:47Speaker 8: Yeady, everything is fired. I think he's on He rides
- 45:50Speaker 8: bus ninety plus ninety three. Does he ride plus ninety
- 45:53Speaker 8: three or you three?
- 45:54Speaker 3: Ye?
- 45:55Speaker 1: Yeah yeah he does.
- 45:58Speaker 8: Okay, so now just up board has implemented a new rule,
- 46:02Speaker 8: and we're having to call a lot of parents and
- 46:06Speaker 8: let them know about the new rule for us as
- 46:09Speaker 8: far as the buses are concerned. Now, from my understanding,
- 46:14Speaker 8: each child that gets on the bus has to weigh
- 46:17Speaker 8: less than one hundred and twenty five pounds. That's what
- 46:20Speaker 8: the new rule that is implemented by the board.
- 46:24Speaker 3: What did you.
- 46:26Speaker 16: Say that again?
- 46:29Speaker 8: Each each child that gets on the bus has to
- 46:32Speaker 8: weigh less than one hundred and twenty five pounds.
- 46:36Speaker 12: I don't understand.
- 46:37Speaker 16: I don't understand.
- 46:40Speaker 8: So what's okay?
- 46:41Speaker 16: So what does that mean?
- 46:43Speaker 8: So starting on Monday, Starting on Monday, what they're gonna
- 46:46Speaker 8: do is they're gonna the bus driver will have a
- 46:49Speaker 8: scale and he will wait the kids so they get
- 46:52Speaker 8: on the bus. I understand. Man in the doctor, like
- 46:56Speaker 8: I said, I'm calling, I'm calling every parent that they he.
- 47:00Speaker 16: Said, you're gonna you're gonna weigh my child before he
- 47:03Speaker 16: gets on the bus.
- 47:05Speaker 8: That's that's what the new rule. That's what the new
- 47:07Speaker 8: rule is. If he's over one twenty five, then he
- 47:09Speaker 8: still either have to wait, but you'll have to take
- 47:11Speaker 8: him to school. I have a job, Okay, I have
- 47:15Speaker 8: a job.
- 47:16Speaker 16: I thought to take my kid in school, but doesn't
- 47:18Speaker 16: I don't.
- 47:18Speaker 2: That's what the bus explores.
- 47:20Speaker 16: That's what my tax dollars take for the reasoning, the
- 47:25Speaker 16: rationale behind this.
- 47:27Speaker 8: Okay, let me tell you what's going on. From what
- 47:29Speaker 8: they're saying, the weight of these children is weighing down
- 47:33Speaker 8: these transmissions on this bus, on these buses transmission the
- 47:37Speaker 8: transmission that cannot take all of that. So they are
- 47:41Speaker 8: limiting the weight of each child. So now how much
- 47:44Speaker 8: does that discrimination?
- 47:47Speaker 16: I think that's discrimination?
- 47:49Speaker 8: But is my son over Is he over one hundred
- 47:52Speaker 8: and twenty five hundred? Okay? He is? Okay, and you
- 47:58Speaker 8: gonna you're probably gonna have to take your son to
- 48:01Speaker 8: school or you're gonna have to walk running. He probably
- 48:03Speaker 8: need to walk to school if he already hunting twenty
- 48:06Speaker 8: five pounds?
- 48:10Speaker 16: What the accident are you talking about?
- 48:14Speaker 8: All I'm saying. All I'm saying is if your son
- 48:19Speaker 8: is overweight one hundred and twenty five, you know, maybe
- 48:22Speaker 8: the exercise of doing good. But like I said, that,
- 48:25Speaker 8: the school is not going to allow him on the plus, sure, I.
- 48:30Speaker 16: Will accept this. Who do I need to call?
- 48:33Speaker 8: Is there a manager?
- 48:34Speaker 16: Is there a city council?
- 48:36Speaker 10: Member.
- 48:36Speaker 16: I mean, this is seriously the lost up discriminatory.
- 48:41Speaker 17: Practice I've ever heard of.
- 48:42Speaker 16: It doesn't even make sense. You're talking about your child.
- 48:45Speaker 8: I understand, but we're talking about a child. They're way
- 48:47Speaker 8: more than a grown person, your son.
- 48:49Speaker 16: You need to get through. What is your name, sir?
- 48:51Speaker 16: Tell me your name again.
- 48:53Speaker 8: My name is Ernest. I'm down here at the bus ball.
- 48:56Speaker 16: I would like to speak with a supervisor like now,
- 49:01Speaker 16: you do not get to speak to much about my
- 49:03Speaker 16: child that way. You can speak to any kid that way.
- 49:06Speaker 16: You should not be working at a school if that
- 49:08Speaker 16: is your attitude.
- 49:09Speaker 8: I'm no, I don't work at the school. I work
- 49:11Speaker 8: at the busborn. I'm down here at the bus ball
- 49:14Speaker 8: and they gave me your ever tender. They're right because
- 49:16Speaker 8: you're saying he's over behind in twenty five times.
- 49:18Speaker 16: I am an absolute shocked.
- 49:21Speaker 5: This is so.
- 49:24Speaker 8: Okay. So do you have a fan child? I mean,
- 49:27Speaker 8: do you have scuba? I'm sorry, do you have a
- 49:29Speaker 8: big child?
- 49:30Speaker 16: Listen, what my child looks like, how much he weighs
- 49:34Speaker 16: is none of your business.
- 49:36Speaker 8: I'm gonna call the school.
- 49:38Speaker 16: They can work with your company. If this is the
- 49:40Speaker 16: way that you treat people, and you talk about children,
- 49:44Speaker 16: but it doesn't matter with you.
- 49:47Speaker 8: I guess what they're doing is this is the way
- 49:50Speaker 8: of them approaching obesity, you know, right, Yeah, to school, whoever,
- 49:55Speaker 8: whoever over one hundred and twenty five, len them walk,
- 49:57Speaker 8: They might walk it all. Your son might listen.
- 50:00Speaker 2: Listen.
- 50:00Speaker 16: That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.
- 50:04Speaker 8: Okay, I have to work. My son is getting on
- 50:07Speaker 8: that bus and I'm going to call the school where.
- 50:10Speaker 16: They should not be working with you, your mother bus company.
- 50:13Speaker 8: I don't know what.
- 50:13Speaker 16: I'm calling the city. I will call city to call that.
- 50:17Speaker 16: You need to give me a supervisor's name.
- 50:19Speaker 8: Right now, right now? Do you like you need to
- 50:22Speaker 8: start cooking different? But so, Devin, don't have you know,
- 50:25Speaker 8: maybe maybe it's tas at home and what you feed me.
- 50:31Speaker 1: Everybody know, I.
- 50:33Speaker 16: Am calling the supervisor. I'm calling this the city. I'm
- 50:35Speaker 16: calling the school. I'm going to get so fired, like
- 50:39Speaker 16: I can't even believe that you're allowed to make this
- 50:41Speaker 16: call like our other parents.
- 50:42Speaker 11: Okay with this, I'm calling.
- 50:47Speaker 8: Well, you're on your way to work in the morning

- 53:50Speaker 2: it for you. Here it is Strawberry Letter.
- 53:53Speaker 1: Thank you nephew. Subject I want to see it every time.
- 53:57Speaker 10: Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm a thirty five year old married
- 54:00Speaker 10: and I think all bodies are beautiful, but my husband's
- 54:04Speaker 10: is exquisite. He's got the curly chest hair, a little gut,
- 54:09Speaker 10: love handles, and a real heavy hammer that has had
- 54:13Speaker 10: me hooked on him for fourteen years. We met fourteen
- 54:16Speaker 10: years ago at David Buster's, where we both worked while
- 54:20Speaker 10: we were in college. My first day of work, he
- 54:23Speaker 10: told me that I was going to be his wife,
- 54:25Speaker 10: and he showed me what my reward would be for
- 54:28Speaker 10: marrying him. It was the most beautiful thing I had
- 54:32Speaker 10: ever seen, and to this very day, I still want
- 54:36Speaker 10: to see it every time I'm in his presence, whether
- 54:39Speaker 10: we're being intimate or not. He thinks I've got a problem,
- 54:43Speaker 10: but I don't see how loving him from his head
- 54:45Speaker 10: to his toes could be a problem. He used to
- 54:49Speaker 10: send me photos while I was at work, but he
- 54:51Speaker 10: said that got old and I should be past that
- 54:54Speaker 10: stage of our marriage. But I'm trying to keep the
- 54:57Speaker 10: magic going. I don't say anything to him if he
- 55:00Speaker 10: falls wants to fall asleep with his hand on my breast,
- 55:03Speaker 10: So why is it a big deal if I want
- 55:05Speaker 10: to share, want to stare at his anatomy. He says,
- 55:08Speaker 10: being freaky has a time and a place, and he's
- 55:11Speaker 10: afraid that our sexting could get.
- 55:13Speaker 1: Him in trouble one day.
- 55:14Speaker 10: It makes me think that he's getting tired of me
- 55:17Speaker 10: and making up excuses.
- 55:18Speaker 1: I don't understand what the big deal is. What's his
- 55:22Speaker 1: is mine and vice versa.
- 55:23Speaker 10: My boobs are his to do as he pleases, so
- 55:26Speaker 10: Why is he putting restrictions on what I do with
- 55:28Speaker 10: his body?
- 55:29Speaker 1: Now? He comes home and he.
- 55:31Speaker 10: Showers with the door locked, so I can't sit in
- 55:34Speaker 10: the bathroom and talk to him. He says he's keeping
- 55:37Speaker 10: the marriage fresh and trying something new. But I think
- 55:40Speaker 10: there's a little more to it than that. Could he
- 55:42Speaker 10: be showing it to someone else?
- 55:45Speaker 1: Wow?
- 55:46Speaker 10: This letter is strange because at thirty five, and I'm
- 55:49Speaker 10: assuming your husband is around that age too, because you
- 55:52Speaker 10: didn't say it was older or anything. But at thirty five,
- 55:55Speaker 10: you wouldn't think this would be that much of a
- 55:57Speaker 10: problem for him. You said you're trying to keep the
- 56:00Speaker 10: magic going, But I think there's something going on with him,
- 56:03Speaker 10: and it sounds like he just wants you to stop
- 56:05Speaker 10: asking him every day. I think he's over it. I
- 56:08Speaker 10: think he's tired of it and he just wants some peace.
- 56:12Speaker 10: He's at work, You want pictures of it. He's trying
- 56:14Speaker 10: to shower, You want pictures of it. You want to
- 56:17Speaker 10: watch him. It's gotten to be too much, especially when
- 56:21Speaker 10: he's at work. He's right, he could get caught sending
- 56:26Speaker 10: you pictures, and then what what if he gets fired?
- 56:29Speaker 3: All of that?
- 56:29Speaker 10: You know you got to think of all of that.
- 56:31Speaker 10: Sometimes people just want to shower by themselves. They want
- 56:35Speaker 10: some me time, some alone time. Sometimes they do that.
- 56:39Speaker 10: But it's like every time he turns around there you
- 56:42Speaker 10: are want him let you see it. He shouldn't have
- 56:46Speaker 10: to lock the bathroom door from his wife. But the
- 56:49Speaker 10: constant let me see it, let me see it from
- 56:51Speaker 10: you has just simply gotten on his nerves. I think,
- 56:55Speaker 10: especially if you're not being intimate at the time, you
- 56:59Speaker 10: just want to see it whenever, wherever. The question is,
- 57:04Speaker 10: why does he want you to stop? I don't think
- 57:06Speaker 10: there's enough to go on to say he's showing it
- 57:09Speaker 10: to someone else, So get that out your mind. I
- 57:11Speaker 10: just think he needs a break from you nagging him
- 57:14Speaker 10: to let you let you see it every single day.
- 57:18Speaker 10: Just let him be, Let it be organic and natural.
- 57:21Speaker 3: Steve.
- 57:23Speaker 7: This is a thirty five year old married woman that
- 57:26Speaker 7: thinks all bodies are beautiful.
- 57:30Speaker 2: But my husbands is exquisite. Here lies the problem. Here's
- 57:38Speaker 2: a thirty five year old woman.
- 57:39Speaker 7: Who has stated up front she thinks all bodies is beautiful.
- 57:45Speaker 2: Right there?
- 57:49Speaker 7: Oh, really, really, lady, you think all bodies is beautiful,
- 57:58Speaker 7: so you thought you'd open this letter with this statement,
- 58:01Speaker 7: and that Uncle Steve wasn't gonna pick up on this
- 58:03Speaker 7: one right here.
- 58:05Speaker 2: Let me make a real fact.
- 58:07Speaker 7: All bodies ain't beautiful, and everybody ain't got a beautiful body,
- 58:12Speaker 7: know it?
- 58:14Speaker 2: Ask them.
- 58:15Speaker 7: Classic surgery is at an all time high. Cause something wrong,
- 58:20Speaker 7: and you think something is wrong, so you want to
- 58:23Speaker 7: go do something about it. So let's stop this lie.
- 58:26Speaker 7: Allbodies ain't beautiful, and your husbands is exquisite.
- 58:33Speaker 2: And then you went on to describe it. He got
- 58:36Speaker 2: card of chess hem a little gut.
- 58:41Speaker 3: Love heim.
- 58:44Speaker 2: Right there.
- 58:47Speaker 7: Now hard, we're trying to work on these guts, honey,
- 58:54Speaker 7: you know how we want these love Heaven go. Lady,
- 59:01Speaker 7: You just a lie. And he got a hammer that
- 59:05Speaker 7: had had me hooked on him for fourteen years. This
- 59:08Speaker 7: ain't a letter about him being gorgeous or you want
- 59:12Speaker 7: to see it. This a letter about you being quipped.
- 59:17Speaker 7: The stuff you doing is crazy. In this letter, he
- 59:21Speaker 7: showed it to you. My first day of work. He
- 59:23Speaker 7: told me I was gonna be his wife, and he
- 59:25Speaker 7: showed me what the reward would be for marrying him.
- 59:28Speaker 7: He was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen
- 59:30Speaker 7: to this very day.
- 59:31Speaker 2: You ain't seen nothing you was in college.
- 59:36Speaker 7: You ain't got nothing to compare to. He ain't the
- 59:39Speaker 7: most exquisite. He ain't the most beautiful. Open your eyes
- 59:43Speaker 7: looking around that little potbelly love handle, last man you.
- 59:46Speaker 2: Got, and you're thinking he exquisite? Girl stopped.
- 59:53Speaker 7: I want to see it every time I'm in his presence,
- 59:56Speaker 7: whether we being intimate or not.
- 59:58Speaker 3: Who want to do that.
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: Every damn time? Hey, hey, hey, let me see cool now?
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: All right, all right, hang on, Steve.
- 1:00:09Speaker 10: We'll have part two of your response coming up at
- 1:00:11Speaker 10: twenty three minutes after the hour. The subject is I
- 1:00:15Speaker 10: want to see it every time. We'll get back into it.
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: Right after this.
- 1:00:19Speaker 10: You're listening hard morning show. All right, Come on, Steve,
- 1:00:23Speaker 10: let's recap the Strawberry letter for today. The subject is,
- 1:00:27Speaker 10: I want to see it every time.
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: Well, thirty five year old woman.
- 1:00:35Speaker 7: Lied to us, told us she thinks all bodies is beautiful.
- 1:00:39Speaker 7: We all know that ain't true, but her husband note it.
- 1:00:45Speaker 7: Squeaky girl, you got curly chest hair, he got a
- 1:00:51Speaker 7: little gut, he got love handles.
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: Who are you describing me? And he sounded like junior, Yeah,
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: s Anthony Brown, tash.
- 1:01:14Speaker 7: Ain't what what what anyway anyway, that card ain't never
- 1:01:17Speaker 7: ga't work, said TSH was exquisite. Mauj ain't ever called
- 1:01:21Speaker 7: in in all articles. Meeting done is saying my husband
- 1:01:25Speaker 7: is exquisite.
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: And yours ain't either.
- 1:01:32Speaker 7: He told me I was gonna be his wife, and
- 1:01:34Speaker 7: he showed me what my reward gonna be from the verse,
- 1:01:36Speaker 7: and it was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: You ain't seen nothing.
- 1:01:39Speaker 7: You was in college. You ain't got nothing to compare
- 1:01:43Speaker 7: to but old big hammer right there now. You want
- 1:01:47Speaker 7: to see it every time you in this presence, the hammer,
- 1:01:50Speaker 7: even if we not being intimate. He thinks I got
- 1:01:52Speaker 7: a problem, But I don't see how loving him from
- 1:01:55Speaker 7: head to toe can be a problem. It ain't the
- 1:01:57Speaker 7: love that he's sick of. It ain't the love. It's
- 1:02:02Speaker 7: the obsession with it. It's the obsession with wontness see it?
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: Damn? I put my pants on already. What can sitting
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: up in the hill?
- 1:02:19Speaker 7: He used to send me photos while I was working,
- 1:02:21Speaker 7: but he said that got old and I should be
- 1:02:23Speaker 7: past that stage by man in fourteen years.
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: You just saw it last night. What if I'm sitting
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: a picture of it?
- 1:02:31Speaker 7: For I don't say anything to him if he want
- 1:02:36Speaker 7: to fall asleep with his hand on my breast, fall
- 1:02:39Speaker 7: asleep with it's called cuddling spoon. It y'all supposed to
- 1:02:44Speaker 7: like that. Now you won't equate that to let me
- 1:02:48Speaker 7: see it? Well, yeah, what you're doing?
- 1:02:50Speaker 8: Yeah? Yeah?
- 1:02:51Speaker 12: Hey?
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: Hey, hey, hey, hey, we're in this car. We finish,
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: go in Walmart.
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: Let me see it.
- 1:02:58Speaker 17: Wait a minute, hey, hey, before we go into service here,
- 1:03:10Speaker 17: let me see him.
- 1:03:16Speaker 7: He says, it's being freaky and all that's gonna get
- 1:03:21Speaker 7: him in trouble one day, All this sextn on the job.
- 1:03:24Speaker 7: I don't understand what the big deal is.
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: What is mine?
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: What is his?
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: Is mine? And vice versa. My boobs are his to do.
- 1:03:32Speaker 7: As he pleases. Yeah, but it's got to be some
- 1:03:34Speaker 7: type of prioritization here. It's got to be some type
- 1:03:39Speaker 7: of order. So why is he putting restrictions on what
- 1:03:43Speaker 7: I do with his body because it's his body, just
- 1:03:46Speaker 7: like you can put restrictions on what you do with
- 1:03:48Speaker 7: your body because it's your body. He don't want to
- 1:03:52Speaker 7: show it to you all the time. Damn, I don't
- 1:03:58Speaker 7: want to see myself all the time. Hell, I got
- 1:04:03Speaker 7: to go to work, I got stuff to do. He
- 1:04:12Speaker 7: comes home and he showering with the door lock, so
- 1:04:14Speaker 7: I can't sit in the bathroom talk to him. If
- 1:04:16Speaker 7: I won't talk to you while I'm in the bathroom, No,
- 1:04:19Speaker 7: we ain there trying to shower.
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: You put the lid down there. You're just running your
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: damn mouth.
- 1:04:24Speaker 12: You know what.
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: He tied to you? You too much?
- 1:04:29Speaker 8: You.
- 1:04:30Speaker 7: This is an obsession you have and the obsession has
- 1:04:34Speaker 7: gotten to be too obsessing.
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: You are too much. It's nothing to it no more.
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: It ain't even you no more. He just tied you.
- 1:04:46Speaker 7: But I think it's a little more to it than that.
- 1:04:49Speaker 7: Could he be showing it to somebody else? See, lady,
- 1:04:52Speaker 7: your problem is you think allbodies are beautiful, and you
- 1:04:56Speaker 7: problem you think everybody think. You think you think allbody
- 1:05:00Speaker 7: it's a beautiful and you think everybody think like you,
- 1:05:03Speaker 7: And that's not the case. This does not say he's
- 1:05:07Speaker 7: showing it to somebody else. He just tied his showing
- 1:05:10Speaker 7: it to your ass. He's sick of you, and you're
- 1:05:17Speaker 7: gonna run your man off with this. You gotta start
- 1:05:23Speaker 7: prioritizing this. You got you gotta make it can't be
- 1:05:25Speaker 7: that excite every damn thing you too much. You need
- 1:05:29Speaker 7: gonna sit your ass down before you mess around and
- 1:05:33Speaker 7: don't see it no more. Wow, Yeah, you're gonna mess around.
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: He just gonna go Yeah, the balling that up. Yeah.
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: Hey look hey, look, hey, look, I like playing in
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: the sandbox, but not every day.
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: All day, every day, all right.
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: I like being intimate. Okay, here we go to it.
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: Not every day, all right, Thank you, Steve.
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: I don't live with nobody where I'm going to go.

- 1:06:39Speaker 2: Well, Lakers gone home? Hey man, what is the sadness
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: about you?
- 1:06:47Speaker 3: Is not saying is not saying, do just it's just
- 1:06:50Speaker 3: what happened.
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: I mean one thirteen folks that Tommy Krank hemen, Hey man,
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: what hey, the Lakers ain't helping you make your house.
- 1:07:05Speaker 7: No, well, obviously they didn't want it as bad as
- 1:07:13Speaker 7: you did, because I promise you ain't none of them
- 1:07:17Speaker 7: prying like.
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: What did you say?
- 1:07:21Speaker 13: Surely they getting They're getting their fans and go to
- 1:07:23Speaker 13: their mansions.
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: Winter lose, lose.
- 1:07:28Speaker 3: Man.
- 1:07:29Speaker 7: Bron James had a great first half, man, but the
- 1:07:31Speaker 7: second half only nine points.
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: I mean, he just didn't get.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: Enough health tea.
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: That's all it is. Though. I just felt like I
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: ain't even watch it, man.
- 1:07:40Speaker 7: I think when I the time I got on this
- 1:07:42Speaker 7: third quarter and it was and the Lakers was up
- 1:07:46Speaker 7: seventy something to sixty something, and I just turned it
- 1:07:48Speaker 7: and went on watched forty eight hours till I fell asleep.
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: Yeah. Man, woke up this morning? Yeah, helly basketball game
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: to go watch first?
- 1:08:00Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 1:08:02Speaker 7: No, man, but she checked this out. I don't like
- 1:08:05Speaker 7: anxiety if I've been working all day.
- 1:08:07Speaker 12: I don't like.
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: Anxiety at night. Yeah, because I've been at work all
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: day and now I don't want to get it. I don't.
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: I don't like feeling anxiety at night before I go
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: to bed. So I'm sitting now. What they doing? What
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: they're doing? Why don't they come on?
- 1:08:21Speaker 8: No?
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: No, you can't do that.
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: I see y'all in the morning.
- 1:08:25Speaker 7: I like basketball and football, you know, in the daytime,
- 1:08:30Speaker 7: that's where you do that.
- 1:08:33Speaker 8: You know.
- 1:08:34Speaker 7: I watched the Super Bowl because it come on once
- 1:08:36Speaker 7: a year. But the NBA Playoffs, this Stem game series
- 1:08:39Speaker 7: and all that. Oh no, I ain't sitting through that
- 1:08:41Speaker 7: with y'all. And if y'all don't want to win, if
- 1:08:44Speaker 7: y'all don't care, I promise you I don't.
- 1:08:47Speaker 5: Well, does this change everything off between Lebron and conversation?
- 1:08:51Speaker 8: Is this? Well?
- 1:08:52Speaker 7: You know we kind of had that about you can
- 1:08:54Speaker 7: kill this conversation about the greatest.
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: But you know, I don't want to say that. Yeah,
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: because I'm watching this.
- 1:09:01Speaker 7: Young dude, Lebron, and I'll say you, I just think
- 1:09:06Speaker 7: he's just he's next level man. Yeah, he's the next
- 1:09:10Speaker 7: level ball player. He's the next level guy. Family man
- 1:09:13Speaker 7: is just doing the thing right.
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: You know, Honey, what is all this damn cry for?
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: You don't care? I'm glad he crying. I'm glad he

- 1:09:32Speaker 1: Yeah, thank you, Junior.
- 1:09:34Speaker 10: We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 1:09:36Speaker 10: up at the top of the hour. Right after this,
- 1:09:41Speaker 10: you're listening Harvey Morning Show. All right, So Steve David
- 1:09:47Speaker 10: needs some advice from you. This is from Facebook. He says,
- 1:09:50Speaker 10: my girlfriend went out with the girls over the weekend,
- 1:09:52Speaker 10: and when she came back, she had a bunch of questions.
- 1:09:55Speaker 10: It seems like the bar they went to was also
- 1:09:58Speaker 10: being visited by a girl I hooked up with randomly
- 1:10:01Speaker 10: for about three months eight years ago. How the two
- 1:10:05Speaker 10: of them met and why my name came up, I'm
- 1:10:07Speaker 10: sure I don't know, but now I'm being hit with
- 1:10:10Speaker 10: questions about why I did this, why I did that,
- 1:10:12Speaker 10: and why it didn't work out eight years ago. The
- 1:10:15Speaker 10: past should remain the past. I'm sure my girlfriend wouldn't
- 1:10:18Speaker 10: be happy if I dug up dirt from her past
- 1:10:21Speaker 10: and rubbed it in her face. Uncle Steve, how do
- 1:10:23Speaker 10: I put a stop to it without looking defensive or
- 1:10:26Speaker 10: like I'm trying to hide something.
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: All you had to do was say I wanted more
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: and she didn't. That's all you got to do.
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: I can't go back and say that yeah, okay, because.
- 1:10:39Speaker 2: She keep hitting it.
- 1:10:40Speaker 7: But look, I'm just gonna tell you this once and fall,
- 1:10:43Speaker 7: I actually wanted to build something with her.
- 1:10:45Speaker 2: She didn't want it, and she cheated on me.
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: Oh you had that at the end. Yeah, that'll shut
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: it down. That will shut it down, like she cheated
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: on you, sage she did say at the bar.
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: Yeah, no, she ain't gonna tell you that.
- 1:11:05Speaker 10: She tried to make you look like the bad guy.
- 1:11:08Speaker 10: Come here, baby, all right. Here's another one. This is
- 1:11:13Speaker 10: from Sherry on Steve Harvey FM. Sherry writes, here's a
- 1:11:17Speaker 10: professional slash social etiquette question for the morning crew. I
- 1:11:21Speaker 10: work in a close workspace in my office with a
- 1:11:24Speaker 10: guy who seems to have no clue how bad he
- 1:11:27Speaker 10: smells as the day wears on. Maybe he's just nos
- 1:11:31Speaker 10: deaf to it. I don't know, but it's close to
- 1:11:34Speaker 10: vomit inducing. How do you tactfully tell someone that they
- 1:11:38Speaker 10: have a stench problem at work without turning it to
- 1:11:41Speaker 10: an awkward or even professionally damaging situation.
- 1:11:45Speaker 7: Will give him an old spice gift set, you know,
- 1:11:50Speaker 7: Father's Day Thanks to give it to him for Father's
- 1:11:54Speaker 7: Day because it's coming up, even if he ain't a daddy.
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: Yeah, and or you can give it to him as
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: Memorial Day gift.
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: Holiday.
- 1:12:06Speaker 7: No, you just got to hear him, get it to him.
- 1:12:10Speaker 7: Here's another opportunity to give him something for Juneteenth. Give
- 1:12:15Speaker 7: him something for Juneteenth, Mother's Day, Memorill Day, fourth of July,
- 1:12:23Speaker 7: get him a nice Halloween gift, get him a nice
- 1:12:26Speaker 7: Labor Day gift. Then get him some of the air
- 1:12:31Speaker 7: freshness to put in his car in little trees on
- 1:12:33Speaker 7: ourbor day.
- 1:12:35Speaker 10: This is nice.
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: You didn't have to give me anything, but yes I did.
- 1:12:43Speaker 10: What is this?
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: We're just coworkers.
- 1:12:45Speaker 12: I didn't get you just using using I'm telling you directly, Yeah,
- 1:12:56Speaker 12: I won't listen. You gotta let me pull you to
- 1:12:58Speaker 12: the side. Bro, you gotta do something yourself. Man, everybody
- 1:13:01Speaker 12: talking about you. Man, we got we gotta fix it,
- 1:13:02Speaker 12: and I'm gonna help you.
- 1:13:03Speaker 14: Man.
- 1:13:03Speaker 12: Let's let's put all your bathe and what you're doingobt.
- 1:13:06Speaker 12: We gotta have we gotta have a conversation. But this
- 1:13:09Speaker 12: this look how long we've been together. We wouldn't we
- 1:13:11Speaker 12: wouldn't say nothing each other. We wouldn't say nothing, you know.
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: Well, yeah it's cool, Yeah, it's cool. Yeah, yeah, thank god.
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: We don't have to think praise to the Lord.

- 1:21:08Speaker 2: What's happening?
- 1:21:09Speaker 3: Alrighty?
- 1:21:11Speaker 7: Well, I got a special group of cats that I've
- 1:21:14Speaker 7: been friends with for forty forty nine years now that
- 1:21:21Speaker 7: I met that I met as freshman's in college, and
- 1:21:25Speaker 7: it's a group of thirteen of us that have remained friends.
- 1:21:29Speaker 7: All of us happen to be cues, and so this
- 1:21:32Speaker 7: friendship has lasted this long. Two of my buddies is
- 1:21:37Speaker 7: coming in town that I've been friends with for sixty
- 1:21:42Speaker 7: sixty two years.
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: Wow, that's a lifetime friendship.
- 1:21:46Speaker 2: Sixty two years.
- 1:21:47Speaker 7: We went to elementary or Furgether junior high, we went
- 1:21:51Speaker 7: to high school, were roommates in college. We plaised the
- 1:21:55Speaker 7: same frad nic. We've been together for sixty two years.
- 1:22:01Speaker 7: Hey man, whenever I'm around him, it's like I'm at
- 1:22:04Speaker 7: my most comfortable because this dude has known me, man,
- 1:22:09Speaker 7: my entire life. To see, we were little boys together.
- 1:22:13Speaker 7: That's crazy. We did Ado lessons together. Everything.
- 1:22:16Speaker 10: Yes, let me ask you this, what do you think
- 1:22:19Speaker 10: it takes to keep a friendship going that long?
- 1:22:22Speaker 7: You know, some people what you have to do to
- 1:22:26Speaker 7: keep it going. It has to be organic and ornate.
- 1:22:30Speaker 7: If you got to work to be somebody's friend, that
- 1:22:33Speaker 7: ain't your friend.
- 1:22:34Speaker 10: But sometimes you know, we say people are in and
- 1:22:36Speaker 10: out of our lives for a season. You've kept these
- 1:22:39Speaker 10: friends for sixty two years, since you were four years old.
- 1:22:42Speaker 2: I mean, I mean, you know, it's just like we
- 1:22:45Speaker 2: just stayed in touch. Man.
- 1:22:46Speaker 7: We weren't like always seeing. It would be years where
- 1:22:49Speaker 7: we didn't see each other, you know. You know, we
- 1:22:52Speaker 7: might go a year without talking. It just called each other,
- 1:22:55Speaker 7: wish your happy birthday. You know, tech, this technology, social
- 1:23:00Speaker 7: media has made staying in touch easier. But you know
- 1:23:04Speaker 7: it was like a period of time when I was homeless, Man,
- 1:23:06Speaker 7: I wasn't in touch with nobody. You know, catch man,
- 1:23:09Speaker 7: wonder what happened to you?
- 1:23:11Speaker 15: Love?
- 1:23:11Speaker 2: We ain't talk to you. What's happening?
- 1:23:13Speaker 8: You know?
- 1:23:14Speaker 7: And then you know, guys, you know, they get they married,
- 1:23:16Speaker 7: these cats got families, they got grandchildren, you know, so
- 1:23:19Speaker 7: it's a lot. You know, It's just it be times
- 1:23:22Speaker 7: where you don't talk to one of them for two years,
- 1:23:25Speaker 7: but you still friends.
- 1:23:26Speaker 2: You know, so when you.
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: Pick up right where you left off, you know, it's.
- 1:23:33Speaker 7: Not like a relationship with a woman at all. You
- 1:23:36Speaker 7: got to constantly nurture that. You can't go no year
- 1:23:39Speaker 7: without calling her. And thank y'all Steve for being no
- 1:23:42Speaker 7: damn relationship.
- 1:23:46Speaker 5: We have.
- 1:23:46Speaker 7: But my dudes, it's like yo, because like and I
- 1:23:50Speaker 7: don't even have friends. Like, man, you ain't called me.
- 1:23:52Speaker 7: I got this one partner. I was trying to be
- 1:23:54Speaker 7: cool with im, but every time I talk to him,
- 1:23:57Speaker 7: damn man, you don't never call me bro No, but
- 1:24:02Speaker 7: I got a family.
- 1:24:02Speaker 8: Man.
- 1:24:03Speaker 2: What you're talking about? Man?
- 1:24:04Speaker 7: You don't know how to call nobody? You ain't that busy?
- 1:24:07Speaker 7: Well actually I am. I am and dog, So I
- 1:24:12Speaker 7: don't like you know, man, when a man talk to
- 1:24:14Speaker 7: me like that, I lay that on me.
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: Come on, man, yeah, I.
- 1:24:18Speaker 2: Got no time for that. We've grown. Then you've got
- 1:24:21Speaker 2: a job. Yeah, oh no, no, no, I can't stand
- 1:24:25Speaker 2: a needy man.
- 1:24:27Speaker 8: What it is?
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: Low key?
- 1:24:28Speaker 10: You know, you're you're brand new now you're famous, you're rich.
- 1:24:31Speaker 10: You don't have time for me. That's what they're really saying.
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: Look, yeah, it's okay, cool.
- 1:24:38Speaker 2: Yeah, that's all. Well at okay. The next time I
- 1:24:44Speaker 2: called washing, the next time.
- 1:24:48Speaker 13: That's yeah, you're on the grill, man, man, Now, no grill,
- 1:24:58Speaker 13: no grilling old people.
- 1:25:01Speaker 2: Yeah, shut it out, thought people. What chick like?

- 1:25:19Speaker 12: and sauce.
- 1:25:20Speaker 2: What no, man, we we we're gonna be together for
- 1:25:25Speaker 2: a whole week, seven day.
- 1:25:28Speaker 3: Seven day.
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: Are they staying at the house, Yeah, you gotta cook.
- 1:25:32Speaker 2: He got a ship down there.
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: Now, No, they're gonna Man, we're not living.
