- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know, y'all a sun giving them like the milling
- 0:16Speaker 1: bus things and they'll be good. Steve Hasten together forty
- 0:38Speaker 1: don't join me. You gotta turn you, you gotta turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: to turn them out. Turn, got to turn them out,
- 1:45Speaker 1: to turn the water the water. Come come on your back.
- 2:01Speaker 1: Uh huh. I shall well a good more than everybody
- 2:05Speaker 1: you are listening to the voice. Come on, dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Yeah man,
- 2:13Speaker 1: got one. Hey. You know, um, I thought I think
- 2:17Speaker 1: of my life in terms of blessings. You know, I
- 2:19Speaker 1: take mostly a positive approach and a positive spin to
- 2:23Speaker 1: my life. I hardly ever dweil on you know the
- 2:28Speaker 1: what's well. I can't say that I don't think about
- 2:31Speaker 1: the what's wrong in it because I have to, because
- 2:33Speaker 1: I have to address problems as they arise. But I
- 2:36Speaker 1: try not to let them consume me. I let the
- 2:40Speaker 1: consumption part be about the blessings, the positive things that
- 2:45Speaker 1: has occurred in my life, the good things that God
- 2:48Speaker 1: has done for me, the power that He's displayed in
- 2:52Speaker 1: my life, the protection He's given me over the years
- 2:56Speaker 1: to being tucked under his wings. I focus on the
- 2:59Speaker 1: things that he promises me. I think of all all
- 3:02Speaker 1: the goodness that I perceived to come my way. I
- 3:06Speaker 1: think that has a lot to do with me learning
- 3:08Speaker 1: more and more about the law of attraction in terms
- 3:11Speaker 1: of you know, what you think and what you put
- 3:14Speaker 1: out into space, and what you pray about is what
- 3:17Speaker 1: you receive. You know, and so I've become better and
- 3:21Speaker 1: better at that. It's not to say that I'm I'm
- 3:24Speaker 1: not human and I don't have moments where I think
- 3:28Speaker 1: a little bit too long about what's going wrong and
- 3:30Speaker 1: what enemy is about to attack and what they're going
- 3:33Speaker 1: to do and saying and all of this is his.
- 3:36Speaker 1: That's not to con say that I'm not concerned about it.
- 3:38Speaker 1: But I try to duel mostly on the positive. And
- 3:42Speaker 1: one of the things that I learned, you can have
- 3:45Speaker 1: an incredible life, all of us. We can have incredible
- 3:49Speaker 1: lives if we just let God drive. See. The problem
- 3:55Speaker 1: that I had years ago was I was the driver
- 3:59Speaker 1: of my life, and I was taking myself into directions
- 4:03Speaker 1: that I thought would be best for me, and I
- 4:06Speaker 1: aimed at things that I thought I could accomplish, and
- 4:10Speaker 1: I set goals that I saw myself being able to attain.
- 4:16Speaker 1: I was driving. When I gave up and I let
- 4:20Speaker 1: God drive. I then opened up my mind and my
- 4:24Speaker 1: spirit to what God had for me, For what God
- 4:28Speaker 1: could see for me, for what God could do in
- 4:32Speaker 1: my life, well, for what God wanted for me. Now
- 4:37Speaker 1: he wanted for me and he wanted of me. See,
- 4:41Speaker 1: that's the connection that you got to try to make. Well,
- 4:44Speaker 1: not try, that's the connection that you got to make
- 4:47Speaker 1: to really get it. Now, listen to me. What I
- 4:49Speaker 1: don't want you to do is do like me. Don't
- 4:52Speaker 1: be afraid of the what for of the what he
- 4:55Speaker 1: wants you to do part see, because that ain't gonna
- 4:58Speaker 1: be nearly as demanding and and as offsetting as you
- 5:01Speaker 1: think it's gonna be. See. I thought that if I
- 5:04Speaker 1: did God's will, that if I let God tell me
- 5:07Speaker 1: what to do, that it would cause me to not
- 5:10Speaker 1: to be able to do a certain some things I
- 5:12Speaker 1: wanted to do well, which is true. But the stuff
- 5:15Speaker 1: I wanted to do was all detrimental to my well
- 5:18Speaker 1: being and my future and my growth and development as
- 5:21Speaker 1: a man. I was stopping my own growth as a
- 5:24Speaker 1: man because See, I was doing what I thought I
- 5:27Speaker 1: should do as a man. But when you give it
- 5:30Speaker 1: over to God, to God has a much better plan
- 5:32Speaker 1: for you than you can ever have for yourself. And
- 5:35Speaker 1: God knows a better way, far better than the one
- 5:37Speaker 1: you know. I want you to believe that. Man, you
- 5:39Speaker 1: gotta understand that part of it. And that's the part
- 5:42Speaker 1: that I finally got through my head to let God
- 5:45Speaker 1: do it his way and to show me a better way,
- 5:48Speaker 1: and to teach me a better way and expose to
- 5:51Speaker 1: me a better way. And when I opened up my
- 5:54Speaker 1: mind to what God was talking about, I began to
- 5:57Speaker 1: see things totally differently. Things started coming to me totally differently.
- 6:03Speaker 1: If you've been a friend of mine or a fan
- 6:05Speaker 1: of mine over the years, I mean, you've had to
- 6:09Speaker 1: see it, the change. You've had to see the difference.
- 6:13Speaker 1: I mean, and I acknowledge that every chance I get,
- 6:16Speaker 1: because I promise God I would, and I hope that
- 6:19Speaker 1: I'm not falling short in that category. But then again,
- 6:22Speaker 1: if I told it all day long, would he done
- 6:25Speaker 1: for me? I still wouldn't have enough time to really
- 6:27Speaker 1: explain thoroughly what He's done for me, because it's such
- 6:31Speaker 1: a continuous growth in me. But now that's not to
- 6:35Speaker 1: say that I'm finished or I'm done or I'm complete,
- 6:39Speaker 1: because I'm still shocked. You can't be him. You can
- 6:43Speaker 1: strive for perfection. I hear people saying it all the time.
- 6:46Speaker 1: I applaud you for saying you want to be perfect,
- 6:48Speaker 1: but you ain't and you can't. So you quit saying it.
- 6:52Speaker 1: You quit saying it to me, quit saying it to
- 6:54Speaker 1: other people. I'm seeking a life of perfection, but it's
- 6:58Speaker 1: something that you cannot have because he said you can't
- 7:01Speaker 1: do it. But that's what he'd have for. He'd ask
- 7:04Speaker 1: for the moments when you stumble and you fall, and
- 7:06Speaker 1: you go stumble and fall. See, you got to get
- 7:09Speaker 1: that part right. Man to stumbling falling part is coming.
- 7:12Speaker 1: But see you get God in your life and it
- 7:14Speaker 1: helps you so that you don't stumble, fall, wallow, roll
- 7:18Speaker 1: over laid their languish. That's what God is for. So
- 7:23Speaker 1: when you stumbling, fall, you get back up because you're
- 7:26Speaker 1: going to make mistakes, You're going to get it wrong,
- 7:30Speaker 1: You're going to come under attack, You're going to be
- 7:33Speaker 1: lied about, you are going to be falsely accused. That's
- 7:37Speaker 1: going to happen to you. The moment you make a
- 7:40Speaker 1: decision to do better the moment you try to be more.
- 7:44Speaker 1: The devil got to send his attackers, man, and he
- 7:47Speaker 1: controls certain people. He just got people as on his
- 7:50Speaker 1: side twenty four seven. You know him too. You've all
- 7:54Speaker 1: met one or two of them in your life. They're
- 7:56Speaker 1: just busy with the business of nothingness. They it's busy
- 8:00Speaker 1: about to do about the destruction of others. You said,
- 8:04Speaker 1: I know him, you know him. They coming. But here's
- 8:07Speaker 1: what you got to hold fast too. They can't take
- 8:10Speaker 1: away nothing from you that God gave you. They didn't
- 8:14Speaker 1: make you. See, people who claim to have made you,
- 8:18Speaker 1: if they're so in to make you business, why don't
- 8:21Speaker 1: they make theirselves? Or if they ain't with you no more?
- 8:24Speaker 1: And they're so busy in them I made you business,
- 8:27Speaker 1: why don't they make somebody else? Since since you want
- 8:31Speaker 1: to get credit from making somebody make yourself, if you're
- 8:36Speaker 1: responsible for someone else's success, then you should easily be
- 8:40Speaker 1: able to take claim and be responsible for your own success. See,
- 8:44Speaker 1: be careful of that, and don't and don't don't change
- 8:47Speaker 1: your course because somebody is attacking you with that. I
- 8:51Speaker 1: just hope, man, that I'm giving it to God. The
- 8:53Speaker 1: way I said I would give it to him, that
- 8:55Speaker 1: I would unload every chance I got that I was
- 8:58Speaker 1: supposed to without being you know, or here he come again.
- 9:02Speaker 1: You know. I try not to be that, but man,
- 9:04Speaker 1: I don't know what else to be for the first
- 9:05Speaker 1: twelve minutes of my show? What else you want me
- 9:07Speaker 1: to say? I got four hours. I can't give God
- 9:10Speaker 1: twelve twelve minutes, man, I mean, for real, Steve, come on, man,
- 9:14Speaker 1: I mean, let's look at this right here. If you're
- 9:16Speaker 1: given honor to God just twelve minutes out the day, dog,
- 9:20Speaker 1: he gave you twenty four hours of luxury in life
- 9:24Speaker 1: and breath and hope and promise, you ain't got twelve
- 9:27Speaker 1: minutes to give him out the day. That don't make
- 9:29Speaker 1: no sense. What an exchange, What a wonderful life God
- 9:33Speaker 1: has given me in exchange for so small of effort
- 9:36Speaker 1: that I put forth. Don't let the effort you got
- 9:39Speaker 1: to put forth to God seems so dawning that you
- 9:41Speaker 1: don't attempt to do it, because man, it seems like
- 9:43Speaker 1: a lot. It ain't nothing to compare to what he'd
- 9:46Speaker 1: be given us for real. So if you want a
- 9:48Speaker 1: real life, you want a real shot at what you
- 9:50Speaker 1: can be, what you can have, what you can own,
- 9:52Speaker 1: what you can become, who you really are. Go to God,
- 9:55Speaker 1: let him fix you. Man. That's all you're listening. Morning
- 10:00Speaker 1: show ladies and gentlemen. This is the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:06Speaker 1: We are here today to enlighten, to empower, to motivate
- 10:12Speaker 1: and entertained on a daily basis. As tough as these

- 10:50Speaker 1: what happened Junior? Oh No, I just you know, just
- 10:53Speaker 1: just looked at myself in this zoom said yeah, sometimes man,
- 10:57Speaker 1: you just have to be honest. You know, if you
- 10:59Speaker 1: notice Tommy then look at the camera a lot. I don't.
- 11:02Speaker 1: I don't, I don't need to, but I'm but if
- 11:04Speaker 1: I do, I'm not gonna think I'm funny looking up.
- 11:06Speaker 1: I'm not gonna sit here and tell you I'm funny looking.
- 11:08Speaker 1: I'm not going to be funny looking at Yeah, No,
- 11:14Speaker 1: you don't. You don't have to say you funny look
- 11:16Speaker 1: I'm looking at you. I've never I'm gonna say this
- 11:19Speaker 1: funny and Junior, I'm gonna talk. I'm not gonna be
- 11:22Speaker 1: ugly with y'all. Man. Okay, y'all can be ugly by y'all. Okay, okay, cool.
- 11:27Speaker 1: But will you come to this though, but just come
- 11:30Speaker 1: to this part. You are strange looking up. I'm not
- 11:34Speaker 1: strange looking, yeah, man, just a bit strange once you
- 11:37Speaker 1: get outside your family structure. Okay, well, let me let
- 11:42Speaker 1: me say this. I know you guys don't normally do this,
- 11:44Speaker 1: but what guy is handsome to you guys? Because I'm
- 11:47Speaker 1: trying to get some sort of point of reference here,
- 11:49Speaker 1: I don't know, because some people think you guys, you Junior,
- 11:53Speaker 1: are handsome, you Steve, and of course you taught me
- 11:56Speaker 1: and of course, of course he leaves. Of course, see
- 12:01Speaker 1: he believes that, he believes. But I'm just trying to
- 12:04Speaker 1: figure out. So you guys think think you're ugly, right, yeah?
- 12:10Speaker 1: Or funny looking? You said so who in your opinion,
- 12:14Speaker 1: is a good looking guy. Yeah, yeah, yeah, sure, oh
- 12:19Speaker 1: we know that one. Look dress Denzel, Yes and yes, yeah,
- 12:27Speaker 1: I never felt that way. I don't feel that way
- 12:30Speaker 1: about Dens there. I mean, I love act his ass hall.
- 12:34Speaker 1: I like that John Legend, sexiest man alive who that
- 12:38Speaker 1: we all we don't know about, y'all kind of true
- 12:43Speaker 1: who they polled for that one? Yeah, I mean Christie
- 12:47Speaker 1: feels that way and that's perfectly fine. And I think
- 12:49Speaker 1: that he's fine winning the award. But just as you know,
- 12:53Speaker 1: a side note, you know a lot of men thinking
- 12:56Speaker 1: if he won't, why ain't I wind? You know what
- 12:58Speaker 1: I'm saying, who's hand? I'm just a lot of me
- 13:00Speaker 1: and thinking that way? They give it that nap. Now,
- 13:05Speaker 1: let me tell you this hire who ain't gonna ever
- 13:07Speaker 1: win people sexy man in America is to do the
- 13:10Speaker 1: think he ought to And that's that. Damn Tommy, I
- 13:14Speaker 1: didn't say I win. You know you ain't saying not, Tommy.
- 13:19Speaker 1: You didn't say you should win. But you you don't
- 13:22Speaker 1: see how you ain't got the call. Yeah. Well I'm
- 13:26Speaker 1: in the run ups now, I'm right down. Please we're
- 13:30Speaker 1: moving on, coming up, run coming up at thirty two
- 13:33Speaker 1: minutes after the hour and get ready for ask the
- 13:35Speaker 1: CLO Chief Love Officer in the building. Right after this,
- 13:39Speaker 1: he've ugly officer. You're listening morning show time Now for
- 13:48Speaker 1: Steve's favorite segment, asked the CLO Chief Love Officer, And
- 13:52Speaker 1: if you want advice from the cello, please submit your
- 13:55Speaker 1: questions to Steve Harvey FM dot com. Okay, now, Steve.
- 13:59Speaker 1: This one is from Camille in Laurel, Mississippi. She says,
- 14:02Speaker 1: I'm a thirty nine year old female and I've had
- 14:04Speaker 1: the same best friend for twenty years. Recently, I made
- 14:07Speaker 1: a terrible mistake in judgment and had sex with one
- 14:10Speaker 1: of our male friends. I shared all the details with
- 14:13Speaker 1: my best friend. The guy has a girlfriend and we're
- 14:16Speaker 1: all friends, so I felt really bad about it. Two
- 14:19Speaker 1: days ago, he called me and was angry because his
- 14:23Speaker 1: girlfriend found out. I asked my best friend if she
- 14:26Speaker 1: told her, and she said that the girlfriend had a
- 14:29Speaker 1: right to know. I'm not speaking to my best friend
- 14:31Speaker 1: now because her loyalty was with the wrong person. Am
- 14:35Speaker 1: I wrong for ending the friendship? Well, no, you're not,
- 14:39Speaker 1: thank you, but your loyalty was misplaced. Also, see if
- 14:45Speaker 1: you all were all in a group, and you all
- 14:48Speaker 1: were friends, and then you slept with one of the
- 14:52Speaker 1: girls in your group, man, and then you told your
- 14:55Speaker 1: best friend. And then she turned around and said, I
- 14:59Speaker 1: think the girl had right to know. That's y'all's little
- 15:01Speaker 1: girl cold y'all be doing all the time. But so
- 15:05Speaker 1: you should have thought about that if the girl was
- 15:07Speaker 1: in your group and then your girl told. But ain't
- 15:11Speaker 1: tell what y'all do, y'all always say, I would want
- 15:14Speaker 1: to know, well that it is so you kind of
- 15:18Speaker 1: died by your own little theory. I think, ladies in
- 15:21Speaker 1: the opinions, well, I don't think that the best friend
- 15:24Speaker 1: should have told. I don't think that, and I agree
- 15:26Speaker 1: with you, Steve. I agree with you. I think with
- 15:29Speaker 1: the best friend, if the best friend code, I would
- 15:33Speaker 1: want to know if my best friend knew. So it's
- 15:36Speaker 1: levels to the code. Is you kind of giving it
- 15:39Speaker 1: all together? I don't know how close y'all don't. I
- 15:42Speaker 1: don't know the code exactly. I have to loop it
- 15:46Speaker 1: all in. I don't know why she had to run
- 15:47Speaker 1: a damn mouth r Two of them were best friends
- 15:50Speaker 1: and then the other ones were friends. But she specifically
- 15:54Speaker 1: said that one girl who told was her best friend. Yeah,
- 15:58Speaker 1: well she told her best friend and is what over there?
- 16:00Speaker 1: And told the other girl. Because you don't know the
- 16:02Speaker 1: relationship she had with the other the other girl, the
- 16:05Speaker 1: other girl might think she helped bed friend too. I
- 16:07Speaker 1: just felt she shouldn't know. Yeah, okay. This one's from
- 16:17Speaker 1: Shawanna and Louisville, Kentucky. She says, I am five months
- 16:21Speaker 1: pregnant by a lying man. We dated for a year
- 16:24Speaker 1: and everything was great until he told me that he
- 16:27Speaker 1: was married when I told him when I told him
- 16:31Speaker 1: I was pregnant, he told me he's been married for
- 16:34Speaker 1: six years. He also said he's got another baby on
- 16:37Speaker 1: the way by a girl named Tanisha. He said that
- 16:41Speaker 1: he felt better after he came clean about everything, and
- 16:44Speaker 1: now we can move on from here. What. I'm not
- 16:48Speaker 1: trying to raise my child in this ghetto mess, but
- 16:51Speaker 1: I need help and support. What should I do now?
- 16:55Speaker 1: I mean, what else can you do? You know he
- 16:58Speaker 1: you need help with support. He's gonna have to pay
- 17:01Speaker 1: child support, But I don't think you. I don't know
- 17:04Speaker 1: if you're gonna have an ongoing relationship with him unless
- 17:07Speaker 1: you just get okay with being the other woman. Because
- 17:10Speaker 1: he'd been married for six years and you just found out.
- 17:13Speaker 1: But he not only been married, he got another girl pregnant. Yeah,
- 17:17Speaker 1: that's why are you pregnant? And now y'all don't even
- 17:19Speaker 1: know the wife and the wife don't nobody either one
- 17:21Speaker 1: of y'all. He didn't know he was married after five months? Wow?
- 17:24Speaker 1: And no protection? Who? Yeah, you can hide it for
- 17:30Speaker 1: five months, you can a wife, but sure the girl
- 17:35Speaker 1: you're cheating with two Okay, Yeah, y'all have been tricked
- 17:39Speaker 1: by that. I don't want to run him off of
- 17:41Speaker 1: equation that a lot of women use. And so you
- 17:45Speaker 1: end up going along with a lot of stuff trying
- 17:47Speaker 1: to see where a gold and you like calling say,
- 17:51Speaker 1: you end upsetting. But why aren't you using protection? Steve? Still,
- 17:55Speaker 1: I don't know why? Five months? Okay, we're moving on.
- 18:01Speaker 1: Why are people wearing mask? Yeah? They don't think they
- 18:05Speaker 1: can get it? So yeah, yeah, that is a general consensus. Um,
- 18:10Speaker 1: please get your child support though, lady Henry, mask and
- 18:14Speaker 1: a condom. I'm sorry, that's good advice. Together, yeah, yeah,
- 18:19Speaker 1: together during the during the dew. Yeah, condom. You're gonna
- 18:24Speaker 1: have a hard time pining his baby on me. All right, Steve,
- 18:34Speaker 1: here's one from Henry. Yeah, Henry and Fairfax, Virginia says Hello, Steve,
- 18:44Speaker 1: I guess you can say that I'm an old fool.
- 18:46Speaker 1: I'm a single father and a one disabled veteran. I've
- 18:52Speaker 1: been dating a thirty nine year old woman for two
- 18:55Speaker 1: years and doing my best to keep her happy, and
- 18:59Speaker 1: she has very expensive taste. I recently found out that
- 19:03Speaker 1: she's been cheating on me and going on trips with
- 19:06Speaker 1: another man with the money that I give her. I
- 19:10Speaker 1: feel hurt and used, and I just want an explanation.
- 19:14Speaker 1: I can move on, but I need closure. Should I
- 19:17Speaker 1: keep trying to get answers or just let her go?
- 19:22Speaker 1: Listen to me first? Wait, wait, wait, hold on, Steve once,
- 19:26Speaker 1: what did you say, Tommy? I just said, thank you
- 19:29Speaker 1: for you sir? Okay, yeah, yeah, thank you? Okay, Well
- 19:34Speaker 1: you know that ain't what I'm okay, let's take any consideration.
- 19:38Speaker 1: What time I just said thank you for your serve? Here,
- 19:41Speaker 1: come to joke. I don't know how you are, but
- 19:44Speaker 1: your name Henry didn't say? Yeah? Come on, no, ass
- 19:51Speaker 1: was born before nineteen six somewhere before nineteen sent me, so, Henry,
- 19:58Speaker 1: now you are one hundred sit disabled? Then? So now
- 20:03Speaker 1: she's getting all your disability chicks, and she traveled it.
- 20:09Speaker 1: I'm assuming here you can't go nowhere. Hey, hey, hey,
- 20:18Speaker 1: I'm just no, no, no, Steve, nothing you wrote in

- 26:30Speaker 1: job and telling me some my bed. I need to
- 26:32Speaker 1: know your names. I'm gonna get it some lot of

- 30:39Speaker 1: on time this time. I tell you that you ain't

- 30:49Speaker 1: on Okay, what'd you say, Junior, They gonna be meeting
- 30:53Speaker 1: in personal and be gathering. I think it's I think
- 30:55Speaker 1: it's a lot of virtual stuff. Yeah, well, congratulations. And
- 31:03Speaker 1: in other news, the screenshot of an actual Craigslist ad
- 31:08Speaker 1: saying this is so crazy, Steve seeking excited and enthusiastic minority.
- 31:16Speaker 1: That's in all caps, actors and actresses to hold signs.
- 31:22Speaker 1: That's some quotations at an event in Tulsa, Oklahoma, began
- 31:26Speaker 1: to make the rounds of social media. It began to
- 31:30Speaker 1: make the rounds in social media. Twitter users attempted to
- 31:33Speaker 1: make the connection that the ad was hiring minorities to
- 31:36Speaker 1: work as President Trump's work at his rally with mister
- 31:40Speaker 1: background yeah, which was reschedule for June twenty. But the
- 31:44Speaker 1: hat on. Remember we would always say he was paid
- 31:47Speaker 1: to be there. That one guy, well, you know something.
- 31:50Speaker 1: And then when they found out they did some research,
- 31:52Speaker 1: found out who he was. You ain't seen him since
- 31:56Speaker 1: you have not seen that, guys, because he had a
- 31:58Speaker 1: background buddy from me him, just say self from him
- 32:02Speaker 1: right away. Yeah, but listen to me. You know, look,
- 32:05Speaker 1: they strategically placed those people in the camera shots behind
- 32:11Speaker 1: Trump every time they always manage to put three blacks
- 32:16Speaker 1: behind him at every and and Steve, they are excited
- 32:25Speaker 1: and enthusiastic, which is what the so called ad called for,
- 32:29Speaker 1: and now they're trying to get them yeah right now,
- 32:34Speaker 1: because the election is this year. The ad has since
- 32:37Speaker 1: been taken down off Craigslist before media outlets could verify
- 32:41Speaker 1: if the ad actually was connected to the Trump rally.
- 32:45Speaker 1: They want you to sing a hymn too, Charlotte, Oh my,
- 32:48Speaker 1: cost I'm building you a hole, you mean a spiritual
- 32:55Speaker 1: all right, it is time to get caught up, Steve
- 32:58Speaker 1: on today's headline, Oh oh, I thought you said ten. Sorry, okay,
- 33:03Speaker 1: go ahead, sing your song, Tommy, Oh don't think Matt.
- 33:08Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, this and trip, thank you very much,
- 33:12Speaker 1: and good morning everybody. This is an trip with the news. Yeah.
- 33:15Speaker 1: I always gift the unhappy stuff. But nevertheless. In Atlanta,
- 33:18Speaker 1: authorities have finally released a dash cam video showing the
- 33:21Speaker 1: last moments of the life of twenty seven year old
- 33:23Speaker 1: Ray Shard Brooks, shot and killed by a white cop
- 33:26Speaker 1: who was trying to arrest him after finding him asleep
- 33:29Speaker 1: in his car in a Wendy's parking lot. That's all
- 33:31Speaker 1: he had done. As you'll hear, things started out quietly
- 33:33Speaker 1: until he officer tried to arrest Brooks, and Brooks ran
- 33:36Speaker 1: and took the officers taser. He had about one and
- 33:39Speaker 1: a half drinks. You don't remember what kind of drinks?
- 33:42Speaker 1: All right, I read it over all right, I think
- 33:44Speaker 1: you've had too much to drink to be driving. Jan's
- 33:46Speaker 1: wind your back for mestre gonna get tired. But the
- 33:57Speaker 1: head of the Atlanta UACP points out that not only
- 34:00Speaker 1: does the police department call a taser a non lethal weapon,
- 34:03Speaker 1: so that mister Brooks didn't really pose a threat, but
- 34:08Speaker 1: that Brooks was only being arrested really because he was black.
- 34:11Speaker 1: The man should have never been placed under rest. He
- 34:14Speaker 1: was not driving, he was not in a public street.
- 34:18Speaker 1: He did resist the rest. If it had been a
- 34:20Speaker 1: white person in the same position, they would have just said, hey,
- 34:23Speaker 1: you know, get left and go home or get somebody
- 34:26Speaker 1: to drive you and dismissed it. And to get a DUI,
- 34:29Speaker 1: you really have to be caught in the act of driving.
- 34:33Speaker 1: Remember that Dylan Ruth, the person who who killed the
- 34:37Speaker 1: nine people in the church in Charleston when they when
- 34:39Speaker 1: the police found him, he said it was hunger. They
- 34:41Speaker 1: took him the burger king to get a burger, So
- 34:44Speaker 1: it's just a differential how black defenders are treated by
- 34:48Speaker 1: white officers. And officer Garrett Rolf who killed Brooks, has
- 34:51Speaker 1: now been fired, his partner has been placed on administrative leave,
- 34:54Speaker 1: the police commissioners resigned, and angry crowds burned that Wendy's
- 34:57Speaker 1: to the ground. Police reformed by the way the scheduled
- 35:00Speaker 1: topic on Capitol Hill Tomorrow. Senate Republicans are reportedly set
- 35:04Speaker 1: to announce legislation focusing on reforming police training and tactics
- 35:08Speaker 1: and changing the way police handle misconduct. And South Carolina's
- 35:12Speaker 1: Tim Scott, the only black Senate Republican, says he wants
- 35:15Speaker 1: to see law enforcement agencies keep track of and report
- 35:18Speaker 1: it when uses a force turned deadly or cause a
- 35:21Speaker 1: serious injury. Meanwhile, the movement to take down certain statues continues,
- 35:26Speaker 1: with now a campaign to either change or remove a
- 35:28Speaker 1: statue of Lincoln in Boston, which depicts the assassinated president
- 35:33Speaker 1: with a slave at his knee. Critics say looks like
- 35:35Speaker 1: it signifies that black should know their place. Boston Mayor
- 35:39Speaker 1: Marty Walls says that while he supports removing the statue.
- 35:42Speaker 1: He would also like to recommission the sculpture, he says,
- 35:44Speaker 1: into one they recognize his equality. Finally, Yeah, that's Beyonce.
- 35:50Speaker 1: She's saying, say the name, but not her name. Actually,
- 35:53Speaker 1: she's really talking about Brianna Taylor's name. She had really
- 35:56Speaker 1: want to see that name saved and that name said
- 36:00Speaker 1: again because she said nobody cares about her. And she's
- 36:03Speaker 1: really written the head of the excuse me, the governor's
- 36:07Speaker 1: office in Kentucky and the attorney general calling for criminal
- 36:10Speaker 1: charges should be brought in that case. Now back to
- 36:12Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning too. You're listening to show well.
- 36:18Speaker 1: Yesterday in Atlanta, protesters now maryor Keisha Bottom says, call
- 36:23Speaker 1: them demonstrators now, not protesters. That's what someone told her. Protesters,
- 36:29Speaker 1: including the Atlanta Hawks head coach Lloyd Pierce, joined the
- 36:33Speaker 1: NAACP and march to address police brutality, the criminal justice system,
- 36:37Speaker 1: and voting rights. As we told you, Atlanta police chief
- 36:41Speaker 1: Erica Shields resigned on Saturday following the deadly shooting of
- 36:45Speaker 1: Ray Schard Brooks. According to CBS News, Atlanta's mayor Keisha
- 36:48Speaker 1: Lance Bottom has issued an administrative order for an advisory
- 36:52Speaker 1: council made up of community members to examine the city's
- 36:56Speaker 1: use of force, their policies and procedures. The autopsy reveal
- 37:01Speaker 1: that Ray Shard's cause of death with murder with two
- 37:04Speaker 1: gunshot wounds to the back. Um. The Brooks family attorney
- 37:08Speaker 1: said it didn't have to end this way. Tyler Perry
- 37:11Speaker 1: spoke to the family and he's going to pay for
- 37:13Speaker 1: the funeral of Ray Schard Brooks and his four kids.
- 37:15Speaker 1: College education. Oh, Tyler Perry, Yeah comes through as usual?
- 37:22Speaker 1: Is yes? So giving, The district attorney said, felony murder
- 37:26Speaker 1: charges are on the table after this unreasonable escalation. Let's
- 37:31Speaker 1: say ended in murder. Yeah, let's say the brother or death. Yeah,
- 37:35Speaker 1: grab the taiser gun if you got if you get
- 37:40Speaker 1: shot in the back, I mean, I don't know how
- 37:44Speaker 1: the taiser gun is a threat to you as the officer.
- 37:50Speaker 1: Judging by the way his brother sounded, he was inebriated. Right,
- 37:55Speaker 1: You mean to tell me that two officers with sticks
- 38:00Speaker 1: mace cuffs couldn't have tackled him. Well, Steve, there was
- 38:05Speaker 1: a scuffle and they couldn't. They couldn't. They were not
- 38:09Speaker 1: good at this. No, they didn't try. Surely you up
- 38:13Speaker 1: on a man that tackled that's that's schoolyard stuff or
- 38:18Speaker 1: body contact. Well, I didn't get the legal law enforcement
- 38:21Speaker 1: expert on cnn dot com. Even if he did, even
- 38:24Speaker 1: if a shard did point the taser gun at them
- 38:27Speaker 1: and they lost in the scuffle or whatever, they still
- 38:31Speaker 1: could have pursued him on foot. Now, if that didn't happen,
- 38:36Speaker 1: He's at the end of the day. You still had
- 38:39Speaker 1: his license plate number, he still had his drivers that
- 38:43Speaker 1: you know, you didn't have to use. That was nothing
- 38:49Speaker 1: that calls for you to shoot this man. Yeah, nothing.
- 38:53Speaker 1: He wasn't armed. Yeah, you have sticks, you have mace.
- 38:58Speaker 1: You could have maced him. You could have done any
- 39:01Speaker 1: number of things. Uncle. They no, they're they're training. They
- 39:07Speaker 1: were not good at this. They are afraid of black men.
- 39:12Speaker 1: That's why they That's one of the reasons they gut
- 39:15Speaker 1: them down, because they think they're gonna get their ass. Whoop.
- 39:19Speaker 1: That's true. That's I'm telling you, man, that's a big
- 39:21Speaker 1: part of it. That's it. Scar. I kill him that way,
- 39:25Speaker 1: I ain't got to scuffle with all right, mass damn
- 39:29Speaker 1: shame man. But hit his mess nomal thirty four minutes
- 39:32Speaker 1: after the hour, we'll have more of the Steve Harvey
- 39:34Speaker 1: Morning Show right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 39:40Speaker 1: According to TMZ, seeing live footage of the George Floyda
- 39:44Speaker 1: rest alarmed a nine one one dispatcher enough that she
- 39:48Speaker 1: called a police supervisor to respond to the scene. Take
- 39:51Speaker 1: a listen. I didn't know. You can call me a
- 39:53Speaker 1: snitch or two on to you, but we have the
- 39:55Speaker 1: tamers up for three twenty suff Did they put him
- 39:58Speaker 1: in the samest body started moving him, um and three
- 40:02Speaker 1: twenty over at cup foods Um. I don't know if
- 40:05Speaker 1: they had used force or not. They got something out
- 40:07Speaker 1: of the back of the squad and all of them
- 40:09Speaker 1: sat on this man. So I don't know if they
- 40:12Speaker 1: needed you or not. That they haven't said anything to
- 40:14Speaker 1: me yet. Yeah, there don't say anything just to take Colin,
- 40:17Speaker 1: which because in Colin's good, okay, no problem. We don't
- 40:21Speaker 1: get to ever see it. So when we see it,
- 40:22Speaker 1: we're just like, well, well, what's a little different alright?
- 40:26Speaker 1: Thanks than wow, Okay. On here you can hear the
- 40:32Speaker 1: dispatcher openly question if the officers needed to use that
- 40:36Speaker 1: kind of force also, um wow wow, if nine yeah
- 40:42Speaker 1: called the police. If she called, she used the police.
- 40:46Speaker 1: But they were so casual about it in that call too.
- 40:49Speaker 1: Well yeah, i mean like the man said, look, it's
- 40:53Speaker 1: a takedown. Yeah yeah, but you know, I mean she
- 40:58Speaker 1: was going to, look, you can call me a snitch
- 40:59Speaker 1: if you want to. But some Maine right here, I'm
- 41:02Speaker 1: calling y'all because this is on Cameron. I could see it,
- 41:05Speaker 1: and this is not you know, and i mean, look,
- 41:09Speaker 1: she didn't know the man was dying. Yeah, and that's
- 41:14Speaker 1: not her job. She's nine one one operator, so that's
- 41:18Speaker 1: not her job. It's the police's damn job. Yeah. You
- 41:23Speaker 1: could hear the dispatcher openly question if the officers needed
- 41:26Speaker 1: to use that kind of force, and that was her
- 41:30Speaker 1: take on it. Also, in the Rachard Brooks case in Atlanta,
- 41:33Speaker 1: the nine one one call that happened there, that was
- 41:35Speaker 1: released and the Wendy's employees said ray Schard was intoxicated,
- 41:39Speaker 1: but she made it clear that she didn't think he
- 41:42Speaker 1: had any weapons. And as we told you yesterday, Rachchard
- 41:46Speaker 1: was cordial and co operative. So many people have seen
- 41:49Speaker 1: the videotape that's you know, that's gone viral now, he
- 41:53Speaker 1: was careful, he was cordial, he was cooperative, he was
- 41:56Speaker 1: careful to do whatever they asked him to do with
- 41:58Speaker 1: these two officers, This one on for nearly thirty minutes.
- 42:02Speaker 1: Steve based on Officer Brosnan's bodycam footage before X Cop
- 42:08Speaker 1: Garrett Roth murdered him. So, I mean again, when does
- 42:14Speaker 1: it end? When does it stop? You know, it's just
- 42:18Speaker 1: like a I mean, look, can I be honest with you,
- 42:23Speaker 1: I'm sick and tired of talking about it, or should
- 42:28Speaker 1: I say having to talk about it. I'm sick having
- 42:34Speaker 1: to having to go over this over and over again,
- 42:39Speaker 1: case after case after case after case after case. Sureley,
- 42:42Speaker 1: you've been with me on this radio show the longest,
- 42:45Speaker 1: almost twenty years. We have been dealing with this for
- 42:50Speaker 1: twenty years on radio. Now that's not including before social
- 42:59Speaker 1: media in all of this. And folks are just sick
- 43:02Speaker 1: and tired of this man. Yeah, it's just sick and
- 43:05Speaker 1: tired of it. And and the and the racism, the
- 43:08Speaker 1: systematic racism is so deeply embedded within a lot of people,
- 43:13Speaker 1: in a lot of people in the police department that
- 43:16Speaker 1: in the light of all this, this is happening. The
- 43:21Speaker 1: Aubrey case, the George Floyd case, all the protests. This guys,
- 43:26Speaker 1: Brianna Taylor, this police officer, still with all that hanging
- 43:32Speaker 1: out in the air, shoot another black dude in the back?
- 43:37Speaker 1: Ye running away in the back? Man? Yeah? What threat
- 43:44Speaker 1: is a person that's in your back? He can get away.
- 43:47Speaker 1: Getting away is not a death, that's not You can't
- 43:52Speaker 1: get killed for running away. Yeah, man, I'm telling you
- 43:57Speaker 1: he wasn't even running towards you. Yeah. All right, Um, Wow,
- 44:02Speaker 1: we're gonna flip the script here and wow, okay, coming
- 44:09Speaker 1: up next, Like I said, we're gonna switch gears and
- 44:12Speaker 1: the nephew will be here with this prank phone call
- 44:14Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening, coming up at the top
- 44:20Speaker 1: of the hour, right about four minutes after. It's my
- 44:23Speaker 1: strawberry letter for today subject. He's bawling out of control
- 44:27Speaker 1: with my money. All right, Right now, the nephew is
- 44:31Speaker 1: here with today's prank phone call. What you got for us? Nef,
- 44:35Speaker 1: I gotta prank for you. But before I do the prank,
- 44:37Speaker 1: I gotta say this. It is June sixteenth, and I
- 44:40Speaker 1: gotta say happy anniversary to my beautiful wife. Thank you,
- 44:44Speaker 1: thank you, thank you for some wonderful years. Jacqueline Patriams.

- 44:52Speaker 1: to die, my rock, myrie of all the way to

- 46:21Speaker 1: her classroom, all the classmates is in there, some teachers
- 46:23Speaker 1: in there. The principle that came down. We've been to
- 46:26Speaker 1: have cake and ice cream for the kids, but when
- 46:28Speaker 1: they owen up the cake, it's a man's private part
- 46:31Speaker 1: on the cake. What oh, no, sir, No, sir, no, sir,

- 47:17Speaker 1: what who is the owner there? Excuse me? I am
- 47:20Speaker 1: the owner. My name is Boba. Now if you give
- 47:23Speaker 1: me the information, I'll try to make this thing right

- 47:46Speaker 1: to calm down? You should have took that private part down.
- 47:49Speaker 1: N I can understand, but I don't think it was

- 47:55Speaker 1: we're very careful with that kind of stuff. Now, cirtain
- 47:57Speaker 1: hold on one night? Come here, do you know anything

- 48:03Speaker 1: middle school today? Y'all? Did y'all make any deliveries? Okay, thanks, sir.
- 48:09Speaker 1: I just talked to my driver and He's been with
- 48:12Speaker 1: me about eight years, sir, and we've never had a

- 48:35Speaker 1: can understand what you're trying to say. But sir, what
- 48:37Speaker 1: I'm trying to tell you is this is not my
- 48:40Speaker 1: company you're talking about. We wouldn't have done anything like that.
- 48:43Speaker 1: I've been in business with thirteen years. What is your name?
- 48:46Speaker 1: My name is Barbara. Okay, so you're the one behind

- 49:51Speaker 1: what't you don't going to let me tell you something.

- 53:01Speaker 1: I'm trying not to catch this stuff. But I have
- 53:04Speaker 1: a trained if for bs. That's what I meant. I
- 53:09Speaker 1: love it so much and he had to come out
- 53:10Speaker 1: with it. I heard, Sharley, the hole is getting deeper.

- 53:48Speaker 1: and click Submit Strawberry Letter. We could be reading your
- 53:51Speaker 1: letter live on the air, just like we're gonna read
- 53:53Speaker 1: this one right here, right now. Buggle up, hold on tight,
- 53:57Speaker 1: We got it for you here. It is strawberry subject.
- 54:02Speaker 1: He's bawling out of control with my money. Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 54:07Speaker 1: I'm in my early fifties and my husband and I
- 54:10Speaker 1: have been married for seven years. Since the beginning of
- 54:13Speaker 1: our union, he knows that I'm able to manage all
- 54:16Speaker 1: of our household expenses, and he has taken advantage of it.
- 54:20Speaker 1: I found I've funded a lot of hair brained business
- 54:23Speaker 1: schemes he's invested in and lost a lot of money
- 54:27Speaker 1: fooling with him. He's had a string of jobs and
- 54:30Speaker 1: leadership positions that I've helped him get, but the longest
- 54:33Speaker 1: he stayed at one company is two years. His excuses
- 54:37Speaker 1: always they got me fed up and they can't talk
- 54:41Speaker 1: to me any count of way. I've encouraged him to
- 54:44Speaker 1: get training and insurance, sales or real estate, but he
- 54:47Speaker 1: says that's not his speed, so instead he has plenty
- 54:52Speaker 1: of time to dress up in his linen outfits, drive
- 54:55Speaker 1: the car I pay for, and smoke expensive cigars with
- 54:59Speaker 1: his friend and making them think he's on their level.
- 55:02Speaker 1: I've heard him brag to them about how he has
- 55:05Speaker 1: a strong black woman holding him holding him down. When
- 55:08Speaker 1: I look at it, we have nothing in common except
- 55:11Speaker 1: our faith, and he's a great listener and outstanding lover.
- 55:15Speaker 1: He's thoughtful and always goes on all out for my birthday,
- 55:19Speaker 1: our anniversary and holidays. But he uses my money to
- 55:22Speaker 1: do it. I know men marry women, they don't work,
- 55:26Speaker 1: and they don't mind taking care of their wife, but
- 55:29Speaker 1: should a woman be put in this position with her husband?
- 55:32Speaker 1: I want him to be a better provider. I'm all
- 55:35Speaker 1: for supporting a black man and letting him find his way,
- 55:38Speaker 1: but this is too much. Do you think it's time
- 55:41Speaker 1: to give up on him? Wow? Well, I think you
- 55:45Speaker 1: know that's for you to decide. Only you can decide
- 55:48Speaker 1: that for yourself. But I can't help you. You know
- 55:52Speaker 1: I can't help you in some way with that decision.
- 55:54Speaker 1: And my first question is why is it that he's
- 55:58Speaker 1: allowed to do whatever the heck he wants to do
- 56:01Speaker 1: while you're working every day to bring home the money
- 56:05Speaker 1: that he spends. He's strong and healthy, I'm assuming he's
- 56:09Speaker 1: not sick. Right. You didn't mention any of that. You
- 56:12Speaker 1: didn't mention anything about any physical challenges or mental challenges.
- 56:16Speaker 1: You didn't mention having kids that he could be staying
- 56:19Speaker 1: home to watch. No, this dude is perfectly fine according
- 56:24Speaker 1: to you, and looks like he's living his best life
- 56:29Speaker 1: since when of smoking cigars with your friends and linen suits.
- 56:32Speaker 1: A job because that's what it sounds like he's doing
- 56:35Speaker 1: for work. And of course he goes all out on
- 56:38Speaker 1: your birthday and your anniversary. He's got to keep you
- 56:42Speaker 1: happy so you'll keep financing his expensive lifestyle. You see, Yes,
- 56:48Speaker 1: he is just keeping He wants you to just keep
- 56:51Speaker 1: the checks coming. That's what that's all about. I know
- 56:54Speaker 1: plenty of people who would quit their jobs if they
- 56:56Speaker 1: had a cushion like you, because you know they complain,
- 57:00Speaker 1: but they stay in it because you know they have
- 57:03Speaker 1: to provide for their family. You know, that's what men
- 57:06Speaker 1: are taught to do. You are You are his safety net.
- 57:09Speaker 1: If you stop supplying his habits, he will have to
- 57:12Speaker 1: stop and get a job. So let me ask you
- 57:14Speaker 1: another question. What are you getting out of this? What
- 57:17Speaker 1: are you really getting out of this? Besides great sex?
- 57:20Speaker 1: You say, and you guys share the same faith. I mean,
- 57:23Speaker 1: do you know that there are men who work jobs
- 57:27Speaker 1: and have businesses that you know that can put it
- 57:30Speaker 1: down in the bedroom as well. Yeah they Yeah, there
- 57:33Speaker 1: are men out there just like that. I think you're
- 57:35Speaker 1: stressing yourself out over him. I think he's just spending
- 57:38Speaker 1: your heart on money without a care in the world.
- 57:40Speaker 1: I think he needs to get a job. He needs
- 57:42Speaker 1: to keep the job and take some of this unnecessary
- 57:46Speaker 1: pressure off you provide for you. That's what a caring
- 57:49Speaker 1: and loving husband would do. They wouldn't sit back and
- 57:52Speaker 1: wait until your pay day with their handout. So leaving
- 57:57Speaker 1: him at this point would probably be a relief for you.
- 58:00Speaker 1: You okay, but you make up your own mind. Steve,
- 58:04Speaker 1: let's get on into this traveling as dude. Yes, he
- 58:08Speaker 1: bawling out of control with my money. Only way a
- 58:12Speaker 1: person can do that is you give him access to it.
- 58:14Speaker 1: Surely kind of referred to that, but that's what you're doing. This.
- 58:20Speaker 1: A lot of this is your fault. You know, since
- 58:24Speaker 1: the beginning, he always knew you could manage the household expenses,
- 58:29Speaker 1: and he took advantage of it. Now you've funded a
- 58:32Speaker 1: lot of hair brained business schemes. He'd have lost a
- 58:36Speaker 1: lot of money. And then you say the longest he
- 58:40Speaker 1: ever stayed at one company is two years. His excuse is,
- 58:44Speaker 1: they got me eft up and they can't talk to
- 58:47Speaker 1: me any kind of way. What wait a minute, that's
- 58:53Speaker 1: because he knows he got a safety net. That's all
- 58:57Speaker 1: that is. He know. He I h that's gonna let
- 59:02Speaker 1: him come home and sit down whenever he gets tired
- 59:04Speaker 1: of working. Now out and told him that he needs
- 59:09Speaker 1: to get into training in the insurance sales or real estate.
- 59:12Speaker 1: But he say that ain't his speed. Okay, he's some
- 59:15Speaker 1: old ass people here that ain't my speed. Say that
- 59:20Speaker 1: with his slow lads, ass that ain't my speed? What
- 59:22Speaker 1: work ain't your speed? Well? What is your speed? Dog?
- 59:28Speaker 1: So instead of he has plenty of time to dress
- 59:31Speaker 1: up in his linen outfits right down. He buying them
- 59:35Speaker 1: lining sets. He got him in linen shout sets. He
- 59:40Speaker 1: got him in. They call him walkers. We had a
- 59:42Speaker 1: dude work with us with specialized in him. He needs
- 59:46Speaker 1: to cut the sleeves off when he wore but they
- 59:49Speaker 1: were leisure jackets. Look like leisure Larry, but they linen silky.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: He used to mankle silk and cream. You know you're
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: all away. Michael Irvin had a whole collection of had
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: a collection of its summer set. That's the other reason
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: you know his ass is old. All right, hang that,
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: Hang on there, Steve, hold that thought. We'll have part
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: two of Steve's response coming up at twenty three minutes
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: after the hour. Today's Strawberry Letters subject keeps bawling out
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: of control with my money. We'll get back into it
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening show, all right, Steve, come on,
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: let's recap today's Strawberry Letters subject. He's bawling out of
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: control with my money. Lady in her early fifties, hand
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: of husband. Seven years he's been doing all types of
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: foolish stuff with the money. She runs the money, but
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: he just spend it on foolish ideas. And the most
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: long as he ever kept of job was two years.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: And then he come he stayed in one company two years.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: And his excuse is always, they got me fled up.
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: I think they can talk to me any kind of way.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: And the reason he can do that and say that,
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: it's because he got safety that at the home, and
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: the safety that is you, ma'am. So then he says,
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: you know, then you told him he needed to get
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: into ensuring sales of real estate. He told you that
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: ain't his speed. See work ain't his speed. That's too fast.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: And then just to show you how work ain't his speed,
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: you said he got plenty of time to dress up
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: in his Lenen outfits. Those are leisure outfits. Lenen is
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: leisure outfits. They are set. See leisure, leisure go against speed.
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: So working this that ain't his speed. So instead he
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: got plenty of time, dress up lenning outfits, dry the
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: car I pay for, and smoke expensive cigars with his friend,
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: trying to make them think he on the level because
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: obviously his friends is balling and he ain't. I've heard
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: him braged him about how he got a strong black
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: woman holding him down. Listen, everybody needs a strong black woman.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: I strongly suggest you find one. But the problem, sir,
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: is they would love to refer to you as that. Also,
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: a woman would love to say I have a strong
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: black man holding me down. I love having a strong
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: black woman holding me down. I got one, but I
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: want her to also know that she has a strong
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: black man holding her down. At now that you didn't
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: got off for that, Yeah, because your ass got on
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: them cheap ass linen suits. That one that extra wrinkle.
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: You know, ain't no silken your linnen. You just got
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: pure one unpply littlem you like Scotch tarlet tissues one
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: ply they make lenin out fix. That's one ply. Lena
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: his suit because I'm not I can see his cheap
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: ass with that little rag lass twenty nine dollars straw
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: hat and at eight dollars cigar boy. I know him
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: now hill wan on socks. He got a pair of
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: drivers on she got he'd have bought one pair of
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: Louis Atarn drivers and he wam with everything that brown
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: pair with them gold al vs only. Yeah, yeah, and uh.
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: Then she said, when I look at it, we have
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: nothing in common except our faith. How that lady? A
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: lot of people leave in God accept our faith. He's
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: a great listener. He got to listen. He fit to
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: ask you for money. He got to sit them here
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: all issue talking about because when you get oh yeah, baby,
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: that's a slick yeah yeah, yeah, oh yeah, baby, don't
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: feeling Hey look here, let me ask you something. You
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: know I was gonna open or linen stoked. You know
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: what if you say everybody like my lenen outfits? Ye
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: and so then and he's an outstanding lover. Okay, so
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: you sprung that's all? Is he outstanding love? He believe
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: in God? You know he listened good and he can
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: he y'all being that spanking each other. Okay, good, now
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: listen to this. He's thoughtful and he always goes all
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: out on my birthday, our anniversary and holidays. Who don't.
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: Who don't that ain't but three times a year? Who
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: can't go all out three times a year? Every man
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: that's got a wife trying to put a smile on
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: her face on them days? Right there? So lady, you
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: ain't that ain't nothing? You keep giving plenty where he
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: don't need none, but he uses my money to do it.
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: Oh well, he's going all out. I know me and
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: married women that don't work, and they don't mind taking
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: care of their wife. But should a woman be put
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: in a position with her husband. Obviously you're feeling some
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: kind of way about this because you don't wrote this letter.
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: I want him to be a better provider. I told
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: you that at the top. That's everyone who wants to
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: be able to lean on their man. I'm off for
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: supporting the black man and letting him find his way.
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: He fifty? What he still lost? Listen to me. If
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: you're fifty and still lost, you can't be my project.
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: If you're a woman in your fifties and you meet
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: a man that's fifty and he's still lost, how you
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: gonna help him find this way? He'd had fifty years
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: to think or something. He came up with a damn thing.
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: But this is too much? Do you think it's time
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: to give up on him? Is he gonna change? And mask?
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: You a question? What's his oldest moment? I'm telling you,
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: I see him and he got that little bitty brim
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: straw hat and stupid oh dog, that's him. We're doing
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: the cheap as Linden soup. When that one pair of
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: drivers and he when he'd be talking to you, he'd
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: be jangling his car key. Yeah, I not know him.
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: Post your comments on today's Strawberry Letter Harold Bonna Steve
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: Harvey on Instagram she married to Harold Bonna. And check
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: out the Strawberry Letter podcast on demand now coming up
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: at forty six minutes after the hour. What's up with
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: all of these racist Karen's Okay, they're everywhere. Now we'll
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: talk about it right after this you're listening Steve Harvey
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: Morning Show. So here's a question, guys, Steve, what is
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: up with all these Karen's. Okay, we had Central Park Karen,
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: you know, the bird watching lady, the bird watching incident,
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: Karen and Phoenix at the gas station telling telling a
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: Native American woman to go back to Mexico. Karen in
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: New York City bagel shop, who recently coughed on another
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: because the lady demanded her to wear a mask during
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: the pandemic, Okay, which was a reasonable request. Then most recently,
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: racist Karen in La in the Valley. She took a
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: hammer to bang up a neighbor's car and knock over
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: her recycling bin and told them to go back to Mexico.
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: But this racist Karen got checked by another neighbor who
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: was sick of her and pushed her in the bushes.
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: You removed that. I saw that. Great, Now, what happened
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: for the for the benefit of those who didn't see it.
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: I saw it, but I'm sure maybe one or two
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: people didn't see it. What happened, Steve? What happened to me?
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: What happened? Go ahead, big dog, know it was just
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: the white lady was banging up a car, telling these
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: people need need to go back to Mexico, hitting it
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: with a hammer. Now, the dude that ended up starting
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: to go fund me page to get his car fixed,
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: ain't nobody going to give you no money for that.
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: But somehow she wounded up into other people's yard after
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: she knocked over the garbage can. And next thing fast forward,
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: this big sister had a handful of her hair, had
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: her bent down. Obviously, the lady had a garden holes
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: was talking about wetting her up. She told her, I
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: ain't the one. I ain't the one. Don't f with me,
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: be bib. You don't know who I am. I ain't
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: the one I would take that garden, the holes and ship. Okay,
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: I'm just telling you what happened. It's gonna take I'd
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: watching sixty seven times. But what's funny is she is
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: enunciating every single word all the way through. She got
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: some time. But the white lady, the drunk, the I mean,
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: the evil white ladd would not respond to her at all.
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: She took that whole ass one. Now let me tell
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: you what I found out. Okay, Karen is a multicultural name.
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: It's a multiculture, but it's really big in the African
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: American community. And and what my favorite T shirt, just
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: black Dude said, don't let your present dick get your ass.
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: And that's what has started to happen. Coming up at
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: the top of the hour, Junior is back from vacation
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: and he's got some sports news for us. We'll do
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: that at the top of the hour. Right after this.
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: You're listening, Junior is back from vacation. A lot of
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: stuff went on while you were gone, Junior, but you
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: got some sports information for us. Yeah, that's what you
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: got on vacation. I'm sorry, not go on vacation. Uh, quickly,
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: I went to my grandmother yawn, Yeah, that's where I went.
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: I didn't go on vacations. I went to work. Oh yeah,
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: I went to my grandmother's house in Houston, and I
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: had to saw much pull weeds, plant, fly work water, grass,
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: cut grass. Yeah. No. All I found out about old
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: people thought is when they find out you can work,
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: they love it, don't they love that? All old people?
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: A little somebody who can work. I'm ragging to the
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: neighbors and everything. Yeah, I got my grass and I
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: look at his back. It's strong, ain't it. Look, I
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: don't worked that wheel barrel, Junior, can you fix my fish? Yeah?
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: All of that man just got work for that junior. Um,
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: not like that, not like what you wanted me to do.
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: But you know it was good bonding time for us.
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: So you know it was just good. You know, I
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: love I love your granting. But sure, this ain't sports talk.
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: This is something we heard in sports. I can't telling it.
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: We ain't gotten hing to watch right now. Sure, okay,
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: so um, last thing I heard. I don't know what's
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: going on, how it even happened. But how the Cowboys,
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: the Dallas Cowboy make the news and a pandemic, it's
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: beyond me. What's wrong? None. Ezekia Elliott intested positive for
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: the coronavirus, and so did some of the other Cowboy players.
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: Now I don't know when they got it, but a
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: good start might be when Dak and Zeke had departed
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: that dinner party didn't talk about it was only like
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: ten people that but the table was set for fifty. Yeah.
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: Probably I ain't got it. That's how you get cold
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: right there right then, got your stomach ape though. Yeah,
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: but I've been you know many they young guys, man,
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: But did you hear about that that guy that developed COVID.
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: He was very healthy. He was forty years old, He
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: was in great shape. He was a choreographer, and yeah,
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: he developed COVID. It got bad. He went to the hospital,
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: went on a ventilator. He got really bad. They put
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: him in a coma. He got a blood clot while
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: he was in a coma. Wow, he a choreographer. Wake up.
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: They didn't amputated his league Broadway Broadway. Yeah, he didn't
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: ye hold on because he had a blood clot. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: they had to do this without his wife, his consent,
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: So they had to do this while he was down,
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: while he was a dog. He was in a coma.
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: His wife had to ain't that decision. Yeah, it's a
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: whole riffic thing to happen. And he was perfectly healthy
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: before he was dancing, you know. So I'm telling y'all, Yeah,
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: this COVID thing is real, y'all. That's really real. Mask
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: you have to put these masks on. I don't every Cordel,
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: that's his name, Yeah, man, Yeah, yeah, that's very very sad,
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: very story. Well let me ask you all about this.
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: But did y'all hear with Dwight Howard saying what did
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: he say, Junior? Well, Dwight Howard is on this thing
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: to where he doesn't believe that the NBA should come
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: back this season because he didn't want to be a
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: distraction to the movement that's going on with the Black
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: Lives Matter and for equality and justice. I mean, well,
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: how do you feel about I mean, I understand that point.
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: I don't want to take the focus off. I get
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: that part. I understand that part of it. I do.
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: I mean at first I didn't get what he would saying,
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: but you listen to it. I understand what he said.
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: He doesn't he wants something to happen and he don't
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: want sports to be a distraction. Yeah. But I'm just
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: telling you right now, racism is not going to end
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: because of this. We can get some policies in place
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: because it is, but racism gonna handle on it. Police Yeah, yeah, see,
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: I'm not really sure about all this defunding police department
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: that they're pushing for, because I mean, I want police, No,
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: we need police. Got you don't don't get twisted? Not
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: all right. We'll be back with more of the Steve
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Thank you, Junior come up at twenty
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, right after this. You're listening, all right,
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: It's so sad. It's like where we are in all
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: of what's going on in the world right now, and
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: it's like you can't turn on the TV without seeing
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: this video how they just slaughtered ray Shard Brooks in
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: this Wendy's parking lot. And it's starting to affect me.
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: I can't watch this anymore. This is horrible. His family
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: had a news conference yesterday in Atlanta. Very beautiful, beautiful, Yeah,
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: loving family. They really loved ray Shard, and they talked
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: about what a sweet, kind, loving person he was and
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: what a great family man. And I also saw an
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: interview with his former boss and she said, oftentimes when
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: things like this happened, they tried to vilify, you know,
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: someone like a Ray Shard Brooks the victim. They try
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: to she said, But I want you to know that
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: what a good person he was. He used to work
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: for me, and he used to come to work every
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: day early, leave late, be the last one to leave.
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: She said. He was so kind. Everyone when they heard
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: it was Ray Shard, everyone was like, that's not our
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: Ray Shard, is it? She said he was so kind
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: when he got his checks. He bought his furniture for
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: his apartment and his next door neighbor across the hall
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: was a single mother. He bought furniture for her because
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: she couldn't afford it. She said, that's the kind of person.
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: Ray Schard Brooke was a giving, loving, kind person. Wow,
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: we're praying for the Brooks family. Yes, we are. They're
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: close family. Yeah, all right, We'll be back with more

- 1:17:49Speaker 1: so why now own them? Well, it's Viacom, but they
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: haven't been doing it in the past forty years. Yeah,
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: they're gonna be on time this time. I tell you
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: to you ain't gonna go t o'clock. The news is own,
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: wouldn't you say, Junior be meeting in person and begather.
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: I think it's I think it's a lot of virtual stuff. Well, congratulations.
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: And in other news, the screenshot of an actual Craigslist
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: ad saying this is so crazy, Steve seeking excited and
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: enthusiastic minority that's in all caps actors and actresses to
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: hold signs. That's in quotations at an event in Tulsa, Oklahoma,
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: began to make the rounds of social media. It began
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: to make the rounds in social media. Twitter users attempted
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: to make the connection that the ad was hiring minorities
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: to work as President Trump's uh work at his rally,
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: Chris the background, Yeah, which was rescheduled for June twenty
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: the hat on. Remember, we would always say he was
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: paid to be there, that one guy, well, you know something.
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: And then when they found out they did some research,
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: found out who he was. You ain't seen him since
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: you have not seen that, guys, because he had a
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: background buddy who from him, distance a self from him
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: right away. Yeah, but listen to me. You know, look,
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: they strategically placed those people in the camera shots behind
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: Trump every time. They always manage to put three blacks
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: behind him at every day. Coming up, our last break
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: of the day. It's the last break of the day,
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: and we'll have some poignant I'm sure closing remarks from
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: the one and only Steve Harvey coming up at forty
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: nine minutes after right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve.
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: Here we are our last break of the day on
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: this Tuesday day. Um, the President is scheduled to signs uh,
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: some legislation on police reform today, believe it or not.
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: So we'll figure out what. Yeah, but it's just about it.
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: It's really not anything heavy. It's just about you know,
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: better background checks, making more yeah, making sure that reports
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: are made known. When he get complaints against him, that
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: ain't reforming nothing. Yeah, that's not police reform. Because Derek
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: Chauvan and Minnesota had seventeen complaints. Again, yeah, he was
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: still working. Police reform happens when there are police consequences.
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: A matter of fact. That's my close remarks. Let's go.
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: You know, everybody's trying to figure out a way to
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: do this. I don't have it figured out by a
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: long shot. I'm sure I don't. And I can appreciate
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: Dwight Howard with Lakers saying that he don't think that
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: we should be playing basketball right now or sports because
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: it'll distract from the message, it will draw attention. At first,
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: I disagreed with him, but I understand where he's coming from,
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: and I think that's a fair assessment. I really really do,
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: because see what he's saying is while we got the
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: momentum going, let's not change the momentum by giving people
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: other things to do. So I can accept that. So
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: I'm definitely not thinking that I have the answers to
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: it all. But I do know one thing, and I
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: wanted to share this with you. You know, I'm a
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: sports fan. I watch football, basketball. I don't like watching
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: baseball all the time to the playoffs, but I do.
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: I watch all of the major sports, even watch soccer.
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: There is a thing that most sports have incorporated, and
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: it's called instant replay. And the reason that the sports
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: had to have instant replay was because sometimes the call
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: on the field would be augured so vehemently that they
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: would go to instant replay. I'll give you an example.
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: You know, like in football, a wide receiver catches what
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: everybody thinks as a touchdown, and then he goes across
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: the goal line and when he lands, the ball comes
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: loose and he loses control of it and the tip
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: of the ball hits the ground, but he still manages
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: to nestle it. Well, that's no longer a touchdown. You
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: go to instant replay to find out. In basketball, if
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: a player steps out of bounce and you go to
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: instant replay. You can instantly see that the player is
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: out of bounce. If you take a three point shot,
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: your foot cannot be touching that line. If your foot
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: is on the line, they call off the three point play.
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: That's in sports. They went to instant replay. The police
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: came out with an instant replay. It's called the body cam.
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: But then we took it one step better and the
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: general public has instant replay. Is called a phone camera
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: with video capability. And now, for the first time, all
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: of these plays that were up for question now have
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: instant replay. And normally when you go to the officials
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: up in the booth doing a play and they show
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: it back to the people sitting at home, and they
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: slow it down where you can watch the action, you
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: clearly can see whether to accept the call on the
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: field or reverse the call. That's what keeps happening in
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: the police department. We have these police who we are
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: telling you is out of bounds. We have the video
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: footage that says they are out of bounds, they cross
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: the line, and now we have the footage that shows it.
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: But unlike sports, unlike sports where it's clearly a violation,
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: you are out of bounds. Clearly in sports, that's what
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: it is. The call is reversed. But what happens to
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: the instant replay of police officers? How is it time
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: and time again that we can show you the police
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: being out of bounds, stepping over the line. And when
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: you see the damn video, your ass don't see out
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: of bounce like we see out of bounds. What the
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: hell video you watching? What play you trying to call?
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: Because see in the game we play and call life
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: is too easy for us to lose ours and you
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: make the call that the police was justified them. Day's done.
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: We're about sick of thist mess now, ain't no more
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: patience from the from the from the host of family feud.
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: Ain't no old, ain't no old, Steve the black man,
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: sick of thist mess man, sick of it. I understand them,
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: young protesters. I understand them. I understand when they get
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: so mad that they want to burn something down, I
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: understand it. I don't condone it. I don't want them
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: to violate the law because once you break a law,
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: that then opens up the floodgates for them to enforce
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: the law. And we got too many examples of how
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: they enforce the law. But I understand the anger, man,
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: I understand it. So what I'm asking y'all to do
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: as I see what's starting to happen when we go
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: to instant replay. Can y'all make the call same as
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: we make the call? Or does it have to happen
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: to you in order for you to see what we see?
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: Do they have to shoot your son down in the
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: street before you see a murder just like we see.
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: I don't want that to happen to you, but it's
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: that's what has to happen to get you to make
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: the same call as us. That's why I like to
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: change that I'm seeing now. And I want to thank
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: the non African Americans who are out there on the
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: front line twenty one day so far of protests. Keep
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: it up because they starting to hear soft it for all.
