- 0:20Speaker 1: Good Steve listening together for Stu. Please, I don't joy.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You gotta turn you, you gotta turn to turnout, turn
- 1:43Speaker 1: got to turn out to turn to turn the water
- 1:47Speaker 1: to the water. Come come on your back now. Uh huh.
- 2:02Speaker 1: I show will a good morning everybody, y'all listening to
- 2:05Speaker 1: the voice, come on dig me now, one and only
- 2:08Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man, oh man, oh man,
- 2:15Speaker 1: God being good to me. Man. I can't explain it
- 2:17Speaker 1: all really, you know, I want I want to remind
- 2:20Speaker 1: everybody or something that I need reminding of myself all
- 2:24Speaker 1: the time. And I'm I'm dealing with a couple of
- 2:28Speaker 1: things now and I had to remind myself. You know
- 2:32Speaker 1: what I have to remember. I have to constantly remind
- 2:35Speaker 1: myself to stay in constant communication with God. Constant communication
- 2:42Speaker 1: with God. You know sometimes you know, I have a
- 2:45Speaker 1: tendency and maybe we do all the people. I don't know,
- 2:48Speaker 1: but I know for me that when it's going okay,
- 2:52Speaker 1: I slack up in sometimes having conversations with him because
- 2:56Speaker 1: I'm not coming to him on the daily with something
- 2:59Speaker 1: that's pressing us something, and I find myself slacking up
- 3:02Speaker 1: in the communication. The danger I have learned in that
- 3:07Speaker 1: is this, I think, you know, I mean we've all
- 3:11Speaker 1: heard old people say, you know, you got to stay
- 3:13Speaker 1: prayed up, you know, and you know prayed up means
- 3:18Speaker 1: you know you got some store it up. You just
- 3:21Speaker 1: got an abundance of them. Where you don't you're putting
- 3:23Speaker 1: it in. Because what happens is is when you're not
- 3:27Speaker 1: in constant communication with God, when you're not constantly praying,
- 3:31Speaker 1: doing those good times, that allows for the enemy to
- 3:36Speaker 1: slip in and do the little things that can be upsetting.
- 3:40Speaker 1: And then the next thing you know it, you get
- 3:42Speaker 1: several little things in a role. Now you got an
- 3:46Speaker 1: issue you dealing with. You know, I have to remind
- 3:49Speaker 1: myself when it's going like that, Man, have I really
- 3:52Speaker 1: been praying though? Have I really been in constant communication
- 3:56Speaker 1: with God? Because you know that that helps God against
- 4:00Speaker 1: that little bitty stuff coming in. Sometimes it's big stuff,
- 4:03Speaker 1: sometimes it's major stuff. But I've noticed, man, that when
- 4:07Speaker 1: I get on a more of a smooth plane, in life,
- 4:10Speaker 1: I have a tendency to slack up in that department,
- 4:14Speaker 1: and that ain't the time to slack up. I'm really
- 4:18Speaker 1: learning that I have to stay in constant communication with
- 4:21Speaker 1: God because it enables me to ward off those little
- 4:26Speaker 1: things coming up that can get in the way. And
- 4:30Speaker 1: so I just wanted to make you aware of that
- 4:32Speaker 1: as I'm learning it myself, that staying prayed up is
- 4:37Speaker 1: important that you try to stop prayers, you know, you
- 4:39Speaker 1: try to you know, have some prayers in the bank,
- 4:43Speaker 1: so to speak, and just constant communication with Him because
- 4:46Speaker 1: it'll just safeguard you against a lot of stuff back
- 4:49Speaker 1: doing you. You know, I just wanted to make sure
- 4:51Speaker 1: you understood that because on your journey, it's gonna be
- 4:55Speaker 1: many obstacles. I've said this a hundred times on the show.
- 4:59Speaker 1: The Road to Sessus Always under construction. I say that
- 5:02Speaker 1: all the time, and it's to let you understand that
- 5:06Speaker 1: it's not going to be easy, but we can make
- 5:10Speaker 1: it more difficult than it has to be. You know,
- 5:14Speaker 1: when you go out strike out on the journey, you know, Uh,
- 5:18Speaker 1: let's say I got in my car. Let's say I'm
- 5:20Speaker 1: in New York and I get in my car and
- 5:24Speaker 1: I say I'm going to LA. I know, if I
- 5:27Speaker 1: drive west and continue to drive west, eventually I should
- 5:34Speaker 1: get to California, or I may wind up in Portland
- 5:38Speaker 1: or Seattle or something like that. But if I drive west,
- 5:42Speaker 1: I'm gonna eventually get to the West Coast. Now wouldn't
- 5:49Speaker 1: it be smarter though, if I mapped out the route,
- 5:55Speaker 1: which saved me a bunch of driving I don't need
- 5:59Speaker 1: and figuring that I don't have to calculate when you
- 6:02Speaker 1: know the way to go. You know, if you know
- 6:08Speaker 1: you want to cut cross on the twenty, or you
- 6:11Speaker 1: want to cut cross on the seventy, or you want
- 6:15Speaker 1: to cut cross on the ten, you know you got
- 6:19Speaker 1: to devise a route. Now, if I want to go
- 6:21Speaker 1: visit some people I know, then I know I got
- 6:23Speaker 1: to I need to go down. You know, I might
- 6:26Speaker 1: go through on how I'll come down on the eighty,
- 6:28Speaker 1: then get on seventy one and take that all the
- 6:31Speaker 1: way down to the Tin and then ride across. Or
- 6:33Speaker 1: I might take it to the twenty cut through Texas
- 6:36Speaker 1: and then and then let it link back up on
- 6:38Speaker 1: the Tin. I know a lot of different ways, but
- 6:41Speaker 1: guess what the best way is to map it out.
- 6:45Speaker 1: You can go anywhere, but if you go with a map,
- 6:49Speaker 1: it's more precise. You save yourself a lot of time.
- 6:52Speaker 1: And that's what prayer has taught me that when identify,
- 6:57Speaker 1: continuously pray that I stay, I stay in a prepared mode,
- 7:02Speaker 1: I have more idea of where I'm going. I'm more
- 7:06Speaker 1: secure with my route. If you just take off driving
- 7:09Speaker 1: heading west, yeah, you'll eventually get to the west coast
- 7:13Speaker 1: if you out east. But guess what though, had you
- 7:15Speaker 1: mapped it out, you can see when you're veering off,
- 7:19Speaker 1: you may stop, come out and not be paying attention.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Next thing, you know, you're on a route and you
- 7:24Speaker 1: go on another way. You're going north when you could
- 7:26Speaker 1: easily still be going west. You've got to constantly be
- 7:29Speaker 1: aware of that. And I'm just pointing that out to
- 7:31Speaker 1: you because I know that on your journey, a lot
- 7:34Speaker 1: of times you get sidetracked. And part of the ways
- 7:37Speaker 1: we get sidetracked is we lose out on that very
- 7:41Speaker 1: the very beneficial resource of prayer. We lose out we die.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Connection with God get strained. The thicker you can keep
- 7:50Speaker 1: the cord connected to God. If you thin out your
- 7:54Speaker 1: communication with God and instead of having a big thick cable.
- 7:59Speaker 1: Now you're dealing with a thread. You know, a cable
- 8:02Speaker 1: is stronger than thread, and so it just decreases your opportunity.
- 8:09Speaker 1: And so you know, I wanted to just make you
- 8:11Speaker 1: aware of that, and you know, to ever be encouraging
- 8:14Speaker 1: to say to everybody out there and just keep your
- 8:17Speaker 1: head up. It is going to be dark days for you.
- 8:20Speaker 1: There are going to be situations where it's going to
- 8:22Speaker 1: be daunting and hard to face. But man o, man o,
- 8:27Speaker 1: man everybody has to face these challenges. Everybody get dark sometimes.
- 8:32Speaker 1: You know, look, if you didn't lose, if you didn't lose,
- 8:37Speaker 1: you wouldn't even appreciate winning because if it all went
- 8:41Speaker 1: your way all the time. Do you know how complacent
- 8:45Speaker 1: and content and how easy life would be if it
- 8:49Speaker 1: just went your way all the time. So when it
- 8:53Speaker 1: kept going your way, you wouldn't even appreciate it because
- 8:55Speaker 1: guess what, it's been going this way the whole time.
- 8:58Speaker 1: So what life does is it has its checks and balances.
- 9:02Speaker 1: These hard times are coming, and you need the hard
- 9:05Speaker 1: times to appreciate the good times. You need the clouds
- 9:09Speaker 1: and you need the rain to appreciate the sun and
- 9:13Speaker 1: the flowers. It's just when it comes to prayer, though,
- 9:18Speaker 1: just stay prayed up, stay constant with it, because the
- 9:23Speaker 1: challenges of life are coming, whether you prayed up or not,
- 9:26Speaker 1: they're coming. Understand that you could pray every day all day.
- 9:31Speaker 1: When you get through praying every day all day, something
- 9:33Speaker 1: gonna happen to you. That's gonna be challenging. Now. I
- 9:37Speaker 1: would rather have been in communication with God on a
- 9:40Speaker 1: regular than wait till every time something pop off to
- 9:43Speaker 1: have to go to and reintroduce myself. Okay, it was
- 9:48Speaker 1: over at a little around the board with it today,
- 9:51Speaker 1: but that's how it came to me. So that is
- 9:53Speaker 1: I ain't mad at it. Y'all have a great day.
- 9:55Speaker 1: We're gonna have good one the day. Let's go, ladies
- 10:02Speaker 1: and gentlemen. It is here that Steve Harvey morning, Sewan,
- 10:05Speaker 1: this very very blessed morning. Oh God, thank you Lord
- 10:09Speaker 1: for waking me up today. Man, I shall appreciate it.
- 10:12Speaker 1: So listen to everybody. Start with gratitude. It changes your
- 10:16Speaker 1: attitude and that produces a entirely different altitude. Oh man,
- 10:20Speaker 1: it's all about the tube this morning, baby. It's the
- 10:23Speaker 1: three tudes. Gratitude, Attitude, altitude, Yeah, I just made that up.
- 10:29Speaker 1: I'm gonna put that on a T shirt. No, I'm not. Please,
- 10:32Speaker 1: don't nobody do that. Your mind, you can go with
- 10:39Speaker 1: it or not. Yeah, but nah, just out there now.
- 10:42Speaker 1: I did that wants before. Man, I did something. Somebody
- 10:45Speaker 1: stole the domain as soon as I said it. That
- 10:49Speaker 1: com We end up having to pay them five thousand
- 10:51Speaker 1: and get it back. Wow, So I said, Okay, ain't
- 10:55Speaker 1: no problem that it won't have him again. Took they
- 11:02Speaker 1: took that, no gonna here, Well they didn't think of that. Yeah,
- 11:07Speaker 1: me and Timmy tried to get that. Ladies and gentlemen,
- 11:09Speaker 1: Shirley Strawberry, Califf Real, Mississippi, Monica kill Space better known
- 11:14Speaker 1: as Junior and the legend that it is. Nephew Tommy.
- 11:17Speaker 1: We are here, Junior. What's on your mind? Let me
- 11:20Speaker 1: tell you this, uncle man. You sixty five, holly successful,
- 11:24Speaker 1: You've had a storied life. You've been in everywhere around
- 11:28Speaker 1: the world. Like what is your drive now? Like why
- 11:32Speaker 1: do you keep doing it? Well? You know, to be honest, man,
- 11:37Speaker 1: it's a couple of things. First of all, I think
- 11:40Speaker 1: I've been so blessed that the work that I do
- 11:47Speaker 1: doesn't really feel like work. Now, it's challenging to do
- 11:51Speaker 1: at times, as is everybody's job. That awesome things about it,
- 11:56Speaker 1: that's not pleasant, and it requires a discipline to do
- 12:00Speaker 1: my job, to be on time, to get up every morning,
- 12:02Speaker 1: to be cheerful even if you're having a bad day
- 12:05Speaker 1: or something goes wrong. But I've been very blessed in
- 12:09Speaker 1: that my work is actually my passion. So that's a
- 12:13Speaker 1: big part of it. Secondly, I'm working on my legacy.
- 12:19Speaker 1: What you ass when the Lord does call me home.
- 12:24Speaker 1: I'm working on what they will say and remember about me.
- 12:29Speaker 1: And I'm telling you right now it has nothing to
- 12:31Speaker 1: do with comedy. And then thirdly, if Marjorie could just
- 12:37Speaker 1: stop shopping, that's never gonna happen. I could, you know,
- 12:46Speaker 1: and look at some type of out gate still and
- 12:56Speaker 1: it ain't really heard. That's just her, you know, It's
- 13:00Speaker 1: it's really you know, when you're at kids, man, and
- 13:04Speaker 1: they out the house and you think they gone, they don't.
- 13:07Speaker 1: They ain't gone. They still need help, and they still
- 13:13Speaker 1: have request of you. And these requests ain't simple no more,
- 13:16Speaker 1: ain't no Can I use the car? Can I go
- 13:19Speaker 1: over so and sole house? It ain't that no more.
- 13:21Speaker 1: It's wave biggest help me with my business? No, anybody
- 13:26Speaker 1: helped me with mine helps hell knows. All right, don't
- 13:36Speaker 1: stop shopping, Marjorie, keep it going girl. Coming up next,
- 13:40Speaker 1: it is a nephew, and run that prank back right
- 13:42Speaker 1: after this. You're listening show, all right, it is time
- 13:48Speaker 1: for the nephew to run that prank back. What you
- 13:51Speaker 1: got for a snap, I'm gonna run not prank back?
- 13:56Speaker 1: Insurance and if you would, cat dog, come on insurance,
- 14:04Speaker 1: let's call it inshurances. Is Joseph. How can I help you? Uh? Yeah, Joseph?
- 14:08Speaker 1: How you doing? Man? I got you? Um do your number? Uh? Well,
- 14:12Speaker 1: so I give me your card to me. You have

- 14:51Speaker 1: I want to I want my employees to be insured. Okay,

- 14:59Speaker 1: I want to be to accommodate them that way. Is that?
- 15:02Speaker 1: And are you able to help me out with something

- 16:02Speaker 1: Like I have girls that may dance for you or
- 16:06Speaker 1: some may come out and, uh do other things for
- 16:09Speaker 1: you at private parties, that kind of thing. Are you
- 16:13Speaker 1: trying to Are you trying to ensure strippers or call girl? Well,
- 16:18Speaker 1: I mean, I mean I'm trying to ensure what I'm
- 16:20Speaker 1: trying to shoot. I mean, I give all my girl
- 16:21Speaker 1: ten ninety nine at the end of the year. I
- 16:24Speaker 1: don't I don't know what. This is an insurance company,
- 16:26Speaker 1: this is a reperable company. We don't ensure call girls strippers.
- 16:31Speaker 1: So I'm trying to ensure my product. I mean the
- 16:34Speaker 1: way it kind of me is right now, everybody got
- 16:36Speaker 1: to look out for themselves, but I got to ensure
- 16:37Speaker 1: what I need to ensure so in case things go bad, man,
- 16:40Speaker 1: I can bounce back on that. I understand that, sir,
- 16:43Speaker 1: and I do. I mean, I'm a businessman just like

- 16:48Speaker 1: So so hold on, I got your car. Man, you're
- 16:51Speaker 1: trying to tell me that now you can't give me
- 16:53Speaker 1: no insurance. We can't ensure call girls are strippers. Okay, okay,
- 16:58Speaker 1: tell me what type of dud they perform? What you
- 17:01Speaker 1: mean what kind of do I mean they think? On

- 17:07Speaker 1: We're gonna put down down exotic dance? You know? Uh?
- 17:13Speaker 1: And see since they are there for people that like
- 17:16Speaker 1: uh need to have some personal attention, man, you know,
- 17:19Speaker 1: we just put something else down, like you know, counseling.
- 17:22Speaker 1: You know, he's prostitutes. You want to ensure prostitutes. I'm
- 17:26Speaker 1: not saying that, man, I'm not stop saying that. Don't
- 17:29Speaker 1: say that normal. That's not what I'm saying. I'm saying,
- 17:32Speaker 1: that's what that's what they are. Well, why don't you
- 17:34Speaker 1: put down PC man? Why don't you Why don't you
- 17:36Speaker 1: put down pleasure consultant for man consultants? So we don't
- 17:41Speaker 1: do that here, Um, I don't know how to help you.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Sure we don't do that here. You can't ensure a prostitute,
- 17:48Speaker 1: then I tell you don't say that normal. I told
- 17:50Speaker 1: you this right here is a PC. It's a pleasure consultant.
- 17:53Speaker 1: That's somebody that gave me this business card and told
- 17:55Speaker 1: me that you'll be able to take care of me.
- 17:57Speaker 1: And now here you he is coming back saying you
- 17:59Speaker 1: can't see this is when it's starting to be some
- 18:01Speaker 1: for smitty name. Uh, sir, you don't have to refrain
- 18:04Speaker 1: from using that language. No, no, no, no. They're telling
- 18:06Speaker 1: me that you aren't able to ensure me. Man, you
- 18:10Speaker 1: don't want coming back with some bogus right. We don't
- 18:13Speaker 1: ensure any type of ghetto mess prostitutes call girls. Um,
- 18:18Speaker 1: that's some street junk that we don't do here. Hey, man, listen,
- 18:22Speaker 1: I was told you can ensure me, and guess what
- 18:24Speaker 1: you go ensure me. I'm gonna go back and forth.
- 18:27Speaker 1: What you dog? I'm gonna come down that to your
- 18:29Speaker 1: office and I want to I want these papers filled
- 18:31Speaker 1: out so I can sign them, so I got office. Look, man,
- 18:35Speaker 1: we don't ensure no prostitutes or no are no strippers. Okay,
- 18:40Speaker 1: so we don't do that, and you're not gonna come
- 18:43Speaker 1: down to my office with this ghetto mess. We don't
- 18:46Speaker 1: do that. Who do you think you're holling that? Man?
- 18:48Speaker 1: You you don't know who with? Now, don't left this
- 18:51Speaker 1: corporate over the phone corporate point fool you because I
- 18:54Speaker 1: can get gangster. Hey man, I don't know who you

- 19:09Speaker 1: for me now. Somebody that gave me your card and
- 19:11Speaker 1: told me you can take care of me on the low,
- 19:13Speaker 1: and that's what you're gonna do now. I need my

- 19:24Speaker 1: you bring something, You're gonna get you. What I mean?
- 19:26Speaker 1: I got one? Who are you talking to I'm talking
- 19:29Speaker 1: to you now, trying to be nice and I trying
- 19:31Speaker 1: to be professional. Question. Don't you bring up to my

- 21:26Speaker 1: going to do a roommate situation, and she got an attitude.
- 21:30Speaker 1: If she's here for weeks at a time, is it
- 21:32Speaker 1: unreasonable to charge her? Well, you know, we running into
- 21:36Speaker 1: that same situation on this show right here, and so
- 21:39Speaker 1: like this is like right up, I at it right
- 21:43Speaker 1: you know, you know I would say this, I would say, actually,
- 21:49Speaker 1: it's gonna get into some type of charges. Yes, it's
- 21:52Speaker 1: not gonna it's not gonna start right away. Seat that seat.
- 21:56Speaker 1: It's the mindset of the person that does the favorite.
- 21:59Speaker 1: It usually the changes earlier. Y'all, yeah, you can stay here, girl,
- 22:03Speaker 1: come on, you can stay here. And then you know
- 22:08Speaker 1: one of the people the couple, Hey, I'm gonna gonna
- 22:14Speaker 1: do something and forget that that they're gonna forget that
- 22:17Speaker 1: the guest is there and they're gonna walk and go whoa, oh,
- 22:22Speaker 1: I ain't know. Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot you. And
- 22:26Speaker 1: then he gonna go he gonna go back up stair
- 22:28Speaker 1: and go how long is she gonna be here? And
- 22:31Speaker 1: then you're gonna start getting questioned, and then you know,
- 22:34Speaker 1: he gonna go in there, you know, to get his
- 22:37Speaker 1: favorite little snack. It's gonna be gone. Hey, baby, baby, baby,
- 22:42Speaker 1: what I'm telling lunch me, she made a sandwich and
- 22:48Speaker 1: then nah, you know, and then you get out, you
- 22:52Speaker 1: got all yeah, and then you got this, and then
- 22:55Speaker 1: you get this my head, hollong, are you're gonna be
- 22:58Speaker 1: in now? Once he can't get in that bath and
- 23:02Speaker 1: donate that sandwich, I'm scared him. At night, they're gonna
- 23:07Speaker 1: start charging. So yeah, yet a charge is coming. The
- 23:10Speaker 1: charge is coming, Okay, so it's not unreasonable, all right,
- 23:14Speaker 1: thank you for that, Clo. Moving on to Trenise in Franklinton.
- 23:18Speaker 1: For Trenise says, I'm in my early thirties and my
- 23:22Speaker 1: husband is not ready to have children, so he got
- 23:25Speaker 1: me a puppy. He doesn't help me with the dog,
- 23:28Speaker 1: and he doesn't want it to roam freely in our house.
- 23:31Speaker 1: Is this a sign that he won't help me with
- 23:32Speaker 1: our kids? Either? Wow? Well, I'm gonna tell you this.
- 23:38Speaker 1: The puppy as wonderful as pets can be. Sometime, that

- 24:07Speaker 1: He got you the puppy because he's not ready to
- 24:10Speaker 1: have a child. But he didn't really want a puppy.
- 24:14Speaker 1: But he don't want a child more than he don't
- 24:17Speaker 1: want a puppy. He doesn't want animals, pets, children, nothing.
- 24:23Speaker 1: He doesn't want anything. I don't I can't say that
- 24:26Speaker 1: he ain't gonna help with your child. I don't think
- 24:28Speaker 1: that that's a sign that he won't. Maybe he just
- 24:31Speaker 1: don't care for pet. But you all probably should have
- 24:36Speaker 1: had this discussion before you got married. Yeah, because it
- 24:40Speaker 1: is totally the responsibility of a woman to carry the
- 24:44Speaker 1: child one thousand percent. You know you can hear in
- 24:49Speaker 1: that time I'm laying your animals coming. Oh, I can
- 24:51Speaker 1: hear the baby kick or the baby kicking, because even
- 24:53Speaker 1: after wild. We get tired of that. Baby is moving again? Yeah, yeah,
- 24:58Speaker 1: you know, only kicked ten times. The eleventh time with
- 25:02Speaker 1: the thrill is gone. We be beginding me. Wow, being pregnant,
- 25:08Speaker 1: that's one of the best parts of pregnancy. Well, you know,
- 25:12Speaker 1: and I mean I can't. I'm telling you what you
- 25:14Speaker 1: all do. Having a baby is just an amazing accomplishment.
- 25:17Speaker 1: And it seems to me like, oh for me, a
- 25:21Speaker 1: horrific experience. Yeah, you can never do it. Oh god,
- 25:26Speaker 1: men can do it. But this man in particular, I
- 25:34Speaker 1: know the baby kick, baby, baby kicking, get it out
- 25:45Speaker 1: takes me now long. You're just five months, sir. Calm down. Yeah,
- 25:53Speaker 1: I can't get gas without going through some things. Yeah,
- 25:58Speaker 1: I'm not growing anything. Moving on, You're gonna love this name, Steve.
- 26:04Speaker 1: Moving on to Flossy and Harlem. Flossy says, I've been
- 26:12Speaker 1: dating a married man for close to ten years and
- 26:15Speaker 1: his wife is ill. I've been sending food over there
- 26:18Speaker 1: to them, and he's appreciative. His daughter found out and
- 26:22Speaker 1: she called and rudely asked me who I was. Should
- 26:25Speaker 1: I tell her or keep the peace? Keep the peace,
- 26:29Speaker 1: keep the peace, just a friend, keep the piece. See
- 26:33Speaker 1: why you want to know. See, listen to me. Your
- 26:36Speaker 1: motive for helping has to remain pure and clean. Your
- 26:41Speaker 1: motive can't be because now you're mad because you've been
- 26:44Speaker 1: the number two for ten years voluntarily, I may add, Yeah,
- 26:48Speaker 1: don't about you, so now you want it. Yeah it's me.
- 26:53Speaker 1: I'm his mistress. I'm helping your mama. Yeah. That's that's
- 26:58Speaker 1: how you get shot at at Stuarts, Right, that's how
- 27:03Speaker 1: you get shot at at the Stone. Okay, so no,
- 27:07Speaker 1: this is not about you. Let's pray for the woman.
- 27:11Speaker 1: Yeah feeling. Yeah, stay out y'all. That sending food over there.
- 27:15Speaker 1: You know you could be one of the reason she's
- 27:18Speaker 1: still sick in the food. Answer that one floy I
- 27:25Speaker 1: watched forsic five floss. Your ass is now own blast.
- 27:32Speaker 1: He turned to a suspect. You suspect. Now you're just
- 27:38Speaker 1: a mistress. Your answer is now suspect. Moving on to
- 27:43Speaker 1: Bam in Ohio Bam Rights. I'm married and my husband's
- 27:48Speaker 1: parents lived with us in our basement. I was in
- 27:50Speaker 1: the basement doing laundry and I saw my father in
- 27:53Speaker 1: law taking matters into his own hands. I tried to
- 27:57Speaker 1: look away, but he noticed me. He keeps making jokes
- 28:00Speaker 1: about it, and my husband and I are uncomfortable. How
- 28:03Speaker 1: do we move past this? See bam, there's the people
- 28:08Speaker 1: downstairs that's always creating a problem. Again. But that's what
- 28:15Speaker 1: I was saying before one of the earlier ones. The
- 28:17Speaker 1: people that own the house gonna come down and the
- 28:20Speaker 1: guests gonna they're gonna run into him and bump into him.
- 28:23Speaker 1: Now and he down there taking matters into his own hand.
- 28:25Speaker 1: I know what you're talking about, and now he joking
- 28:29Speaker 1: about it. I don't know what his ignors to see.
- 28:31Speaker 1: Oh you saw that? Huh oh, you know, look threw
- 28:40Speaker 1: me a little bit, you know, a little quick with
- 28:42Speaker 1: it when they called me, you know, quick drama. Thank you.
- 28:48Speaker 1: See l O coming up at the top of the hour.
- 28:51Speaker 1: We got some entertainment news right after this. You're listening
- 28:55Speaker 1: to show. This is great news, very good news for
- 29:02Speaker 1: black women in the workplace. The Crown Act has officially
- 29:07Speaker 1: passed in the US House of Representatives. The new legislation
- 29:10Speaker 1: seeks to end race based hair discrimination. CROWN, which stands
- 29:15Speaker 1: for Creating Respectful and Open World for Natural Hair Love It.
- 29:21Speaker 1: The legislation passed by two thirty five to one eighty nine,
- 29:25Speaker 1: with votes largely falling down party lines. The bill now
- 29:29Speaker 1: heads to the Senate for approval, where it will need
- 29:32Speaker 1: support from at least ten Republicans to pass. President Biden
- 29:35Speaker 1: has urged Congress to pass the bill. So that's really
- 29:39Speaker 1: good news. Now you can wear your hair, your natural hair,
- 29:42Speaker 1: finally discriminated. Yeah you think to think, right, Yeah, you know.
- 29:50Speaker 1: It's just it's amazing that we we have to vote
- 29:53Speaker 1: about our hand. We gotta give commission about our hand.
- 29:57Speaker 1: We gotta be accepted about our hand. We gotta ask
- 30:01Speaker 1: them can we do this here? So I ain't excited
- 30:04Speaker 1: about that at all, not at all. It's it's really
- 30:06Speaker 1: a damn shame. But why y'all passing laws and bills?
- 30:10Speaker 1: How about the basic one to vote the same way
- 30:13Speaker 1: you do? How about that one that's that should have
- 30:18Speaker 1: something that ain't got a damn thing to do with
- 30:21Speaker 1: how you how what your hair looked like? Can we
- 30:24Speaker 1: just vote the same way everybody else? Why do we
- 30:26Speaker 1: have to keep voting, have this voting law? That's the
- 30:29Speaker 1: track of this country. Man. So you know, hey, I
- 30:33Speaker 1: tell you what, we didn't get them voted at. Let's
- 30:35Speaker 1: let them wear their hair? How they want at that better. No, no, no, don't, don't.
- 30:44Speaker 1: Don't all our rights? Now we're tired. Ain't nobody telling
- 30:51Speaker 1: white people how they wear, they have eat, They don't
- 30:54Speaker 1: have a bill, do they know? No? All right? Moving on,
- 30:59Speaker 1: And after thirty one years of determining whether you are
- 31:03Speaker 1: or you are not the father, Maury Povich is retiring
- 31:06Speaker 1: from television. The Maury Show is ending in September. Maury
- 31:12Speaker 1: is eighty three years old, and he explained that his
- 31:15Speaker 1: retirement is long overdue. This cancelation marks the end of
- 31:19Speaker 1: an era for daytime TV. So how do you gonna
- 31:22Speaker 1: know who they daddy? This is tragic. I don't understand
- 31:29Speaker 1: this here because before that envelope comes out, she's one
- 31:32Speaker 1: hundred percent sure he is the father. And when they
- 31:36Speaker 1: open it up, he is not the father. But I
- 31:39Speaker 1: love what they take off him. Rung. Yeah, yeah, they
- 31:43Speaker 1: see what backstage look like. If they ain't right, let's
- 31:48Speaker 1: let's let's let's this is an opening for us. We
- 31:51Speaker 1: can start a whole new TV show right here. Who
- 31:54Speaker 1: is the daddy? And that's all we do was just
- 31:57Speaker 1: Franknees results side. This is great right here, it's a business. This,
- 32:02Speaker 1: this is great, and then we get you get your bodyguard,
- 32:06Speaker 1: boom he over there. You know, can we gonna need somebody?
- 32:09Speaker 1: Could y'all have somebody who hoops somebody there Boom now,
- 32:12Speaker 1: and then then you can spin off and then Boom
- 32:14Speaker 1: have his own show with them boomi isms. You know,
- 32:18Speaker 1: you gotta look at it just like this, better than
- 32:20Speaker 1: Dick Clark right here. Man, you could really be something
- 32:21Speaker 1: with this head. And then the possibility speakers so we
- 32:26Speaker 1: could run. Yeah, I'm gonna be the camera guy. I'm chasing,
- 32:32Speaker 1: and I think the spin on the show should be
- 32:38Speaker 1: we give We have like a panel of judges, uh,
- 32:44Speaker 1: and each judge it's given, you know, five thousand dollars
- 32:51Speaker 1: and it's on their little screen in front of them,
- 32:53Speaker 1: like on Jeopardy. How much you don't want to give
- 32:54Speaker 1: them five thousand dollars? And every time we have a
- 32:57Speaker 1: contestant come up, wouldn't we we have three game show
- 33:03Speaker 1: judges who are really contested. We're gonna make it a
- 33:05Speaker 1: game show, so we're gonna have three people that can
- 33:08Speaker 1: come on the game show and they're given five thousand
- 33:11Speaker 1: dollars every time we have a person come on there
- 33:15Speaker 1: and find out who the daddy is you can bet
- 33:19Speaker 1: your money or daddy you can, and then you can
- 33:26Speaker 1: bet several ways, like on draft Kings you can bet
- 33:30Speaker 1: is it your daddy? Yeah? How many times she gonna
- 33:34Speaker 1: be on herefore we find out who the daddy is times, Well,
- 33:39Speaker 1: we're gonna we're gonna bet on if the dude gonna
- 33:42Speaker 1: be happy or sad because it ain't his Oh man, Yeah,
- 33:47Speaker 1: then we're gonna bet on if the dude that's backstage
- 33:50Speaker 1: who it might be. We're gonna bet if they're gonna fight,
- 33:53Speaker 1: and we didn't, it would just there'll be a hell
- 33:55Speaker 1: of game for your column. Like you know, they showed
- 33:59Speaker 1: the beat baby, then they show the two people sitting there.
- 34:02Speaker 1: You gotta look at the facial features. Yeah, yeah, they
- 34:09Speaker 1: look like the most that'll be the new twist on
- 34:12Speaker 1: the game. Yeah, I love it. Look just like your daddy.
- 34:17Speaker 1: And the name of the show is gonna be that
- 34:20Speaker 1: ain't your daddy. We say this though. Marie had a
- 34:24Speaker 1: great run and he looks great old. He really really does.
- 34:30Speaker 1: Thirty years Wow. All right, coming up in twenty minutes
- 34:34Speaker 1: after Tommy needs you to help him out with something.
- 34:37Speaker 1: We'll be back right after this. You're listening show. All right, Tommy,
- 34:43Speaker 1: what is it now? Okay? I got a problem and
- 34:48Speaker 1: it's you know, it might it might be mine of
- 34:50Speaker 1: the y'all, but it's a big problem to me because
- 34:52Speaker 1: I've been going through for the last moment, Tommy. Yeah,
- 34:56Speaker 1: should I come in first or last? Probably? I don't know.
- 35:01Speaker 1: I mean, you ain't never went through this. You don't
- 35:03Speaker 1: go to stuff like this. Okay, this is something I'm going. Okay,
- 35:06Speaker 1: this is something I'm going. All right, this is a
- 35:08Speaker 1: problem I'm had for the last month. And it's a
- 35:11Speaker 1: simple question. How do you throw away a trash can?
- 35:18Speaker 1: I just I just listen to me. Now, ain't nobody
- 35:20Speaker 1: helping you with that? I didn't If I put it
- 35:23Speaker 1: on the street, they leave it on the street. Now
- 35:26Speaker 1: I didn't took the trash can, they just leave it down. Now,
- 35:29Speaker 1: I didn't took the trash can. I didn't put it
- 35:32Speaker 1: inside a bigger trash can. They take it out and
- 35:35Speaker 1: still leave it there. And I'm asking, how do you
- 35:39Speaker 1: get rid of a trash can? Okay, it's a big problem. Okay, here,
- 35:43Speaker 1: last thing I did, all right, I wrote trash on
- 35:46Speaker 1: the side of the trash can with a sharp I
- 35:50Speaker 1: be damned garbage man still left it there, and I'm
- 35:53Speaker 1: standing in the driveway trying to figure it out. How
- 35:56Speaker 1: in the hell do I get rid of a trash can?
- 35:58Speaker 1: Now here's what I did, Nick hook the trash can
- 36:02Speaker 1: next door to the neighbor's house and put it by
- 36:04Speaker 1: his trash Do you know I come home that evening
- 36:08Speaker 1: my trash is that trash can is in my driveway
- 36:11Speaker 1: and it's a note on it saying I don't know
- 36:13Speaker 1: how your trash can got Nick Dough, but I brought
- 36:16Speaker 1: it over here, signed uh GM garbage man. I said,
- 36:21Speaker 1: I cannot get rid of the trash can. So if
- 36:24Speaker 1: anybody can just help me figure out? High on the
- 36:28Speaker 1: hill do I get rid of a trash can? Because
- 36:30Speaker 1: I don't know how to throw it away? Out and
- 36:32Speaker 1: try five times? Any suggestions, Uncle Steve, I have them.
- 36:36Speaker 1: I have a question. Yes, how bad do you want
- 36:41Speaker 1: to get rid of the trash can? On a scale
- 36:43Speaker 1: of one to ten? Hen I've been trying for a month.
- 36:48Speaker 1: Then I have the perfect solution. Put some money in it,
- 36:53Speaker 1: just gonna take and then what yeah, the cat shout
- 37:00Speaker 1: of there? What girl? Ain't nobody dain't nobody from the
- 37:03Speaker 1: run the risk of taking the cash out. They're gonna
- 37:06Speaker 1: take that trash can, put it up in the front
- 37:09Speaker 1: seat with them. They don't have a thing on their
- 37:11Speaker 1: Labna wait till they get somewhere, because they don't want
- 37:16Speaker 1: you to see him taking that money out, because they
- 37:18Speaker 1: ain't the end of the day, you ain't never seen
- 37:19Speaker 1: nobody taking no trash out the trash can. That's some
- 37:23Speaker 1: value without taking the whole thing. And that that right there,
- 37:27Speaker 1: give me some money in the trash how much? Well,
- 37:33Speaker 1: you know a happening on how bad you want it gone?
- 37:37Speaker 1: That's why I asked him. How important put the right
- 37:42Speaker 1: amount of money in there? Trust and believes it's gone,
- 37:47Speaker 1: that trash can go. All right? See how that works
- 37:51Speaker 1: for you? Now? All right? Coming up at thirty four
- 37:53Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, the Senate Judiciary Committee hearings for
- 37:57Speaker 1: Katangi Brown Jackson are underway. We'll talk about it right
- 38:01Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to the same Harvey Morning Show.
- 38:06Speaker 1: The Senate Judiciary Committee's confirmation hearings for Katanji Brown Jackson
- 38:11Speaker 1: are underway, and if she's confirmed, she will be the
- 38:15Speaker 1: first black woman to serve on the Supreme Court. Democrats
- 38:19Speaker 1: have enough votes on their side to confirm her with
- 38:21Speaker 1: no GOP support, and a few Republicans could cross party
- 38:25Speaker 1: lines to support her. Black women, of course, are in
- 38:29Speaker 1: support of her, and they've traveled from all over the
- 38:32Speaker 1: country to support her confirmation, and several women led groups
- 38:36Speaker 1: have held rallies in front of the Supreme Court to
- 38:39Speaker 1: bolster support for Judge Katanji Brown Jackson. The National Women's
- 38:43Speaker 1: Law Center Action Fund, She Will Rise, Black Women's Roundtable,
- 38:47Speaker 1: and other organizations hosted rallies pushing for the Senate to
- 38:51Speaker 1: confirm miss Jackson. Well, you gotta be careful of that
- 38:56Speaker 1: hill billy out of West Virginia mansion. Oh yeah, the
- 39:02Speaker 1: so called Democrats. Yeah, he'll flip. Then you gotta watch
- 39:08Speaker 1: that scared. They gotta scares woman that flips too, So
- 39:13Speaker 1: then you gotta throw in. Let's see who else. Yeah.
- 39:18Speaker 1: But if you would think, because if it was Republicans
- 39:22Speaker 1: that didn't need to vote, that they would day in
- 39:24Speaker 1: like that. But Jim Democrats, man, they scared me. They
- 39:28Speaker 1: scared me. I'm concerned about Oh no, we got together
- 39:32Speaker 1: at all, man. We got some cowards in this thing
- 39:35Speaker 1: right here. You already, No, Ted crews ain't gonna vote
- 39:37Speaker 1: for yeah, yeah, no himself. He flipped on his wife.
- 39:47Speaker 1: Yeah himself. Yeah, call your wife ugly and talk about
- 39:54Speaker 1: your daddy boy, And you got your head stuck up
- 39:58Speaker 1: his behind so far, you man, dog. Every time I
- 40:02Speaker 1: see you, they had to pull me off your ass.
- 40:06Speaker 1: He was flying back from spring break trying to get
- 40:09Speaker 1: to DC for them. Always on a plane, he always,
- 40:13Speaker 1: and the flight was booked, and they showed him at
- 40:16Speaker 1: this airport and he was going off talking about do
- 40:18Speaker 1: you know who I am? And they was like, yeah,
- 40:21Speaker 1: but getting on this plane, yeah, who you are, which
- 40:26Speaker 1: is the other reason we're not looking too hard for. Yeah. Yeah, Now,
- 40:33Speaker 1: if you want us to strap your ass on this
- 40:35Speaker 1: wing out here, I'll be molded happy to get some
- 40:37Speaker 1: electrical duct tapers. Yeah. A mess, a mess, A mess,
- 40:42Speaker 1: a mess. So yeah, I'm we're rooting for to come out.
- 40:54Speaker 1: But these Republicans, I don't put anything past them. They're
- 40:57Speaker 1: gonna try to, you know, go low. We're watching and
- 41:01Speaker 1: we're voting. Call your senators and call your house, call them,
- 41:06Speaker 1: make sure they confirm her. But so first she's holding
- 41:09Speaker 1: her own. So first, she is definitely holding her own.
- 41:12Speaker 1: I think she's a woman for the job for sure,
- 41:15Speaker 1: well as we always. Hey did you see on Instagram?
- 41:22Speaker 1: I think it's Tyrese's Instagram. Uh the young brother that
- 41:26Speaker 1: got accepted. Yeah, did you see that? That young guy
- 41:31Speaker 1: that I think he got accepted at college and he
- 41:34Speaker 1: got the acceptance letter and his mother and little sister
- 41:39Speaker 1: was standing next to him. When he opened up the letter,
- 41:42Speaker 1: he started screaming, I'm proud of you, black man, I'm proud.
- 41:46Speaker 1: He just kept saying it over and over. Old man.
- 41:49Speaker 1: I couldn't stop watching that thing, man, and boy had
- 41:51Speaker 1: me till he had me tear up. And I wrote
- 41:55Speaker 1: in the comments he'd been running his marathon with an
- 41:59Speaker 1: eighty pound weight vest owned and Timberlands right because whatever
- 42:04Speaker 1: he did to get that ladder right there, he'd been
- 42:08Speaker 1: running his marathon with an eighty pound weight vest and
- 42:10Speaker 1: Timberland's own. So that boy, he was encouraging himself. Yeah.
- 42:14Speaker 1: I couldn't stop watching it, man. That boy cheered me up. Man,
- 42:17Speaker 1: I couldn't stop watching self self encouragement proud you know, yeah, yeah,
- 42:23Speaker 1: if nobody else roots for you, make sure you root
- 42:26Speaker 1: for yourself. You know. I was saying that to know that. Uh,
- 42:29Speaker 1: this sister gonna do fine at the hearings, cause she's
- 42:33Speaker 1: she's already. She didn't already you know what she hadn't
- 42:36Speaker 1: done to even get to this hearing. Hearing is qualified. Yeah,
- 42:42Speaker 1: listen to me, over qualified? You believe that? So boy,
- 42:50Speaker 1: the hearing is a piece of cake. He got. The
- 42:53Speaker 1: next coming up next to it's a prank phone call
- 42:57Speaker 1: with the nephew. Right after this, you're listen Stave Harvey
- 43:01Speaker 1: Morning Show coming up at above, four minutes after the hour.
- 43:06Speaker 1: It is today's Strawberry letter, the subject I need both
- 43:10Speaker 1: of them, and don't judge me. Don't judge me. Tell
- 43:14Speaker 1: you how many times I said that before. We're gonna
- 43:19Speaker 1: we're gonna just got it. We're gonna get into that
- 43:22Speaker 1: in just a few because right now the nephew is
- 43:26Speaker 1: here with today's praying phone called nef what you got.
- 43:30Speaker 1: There's a group of people that you you really should
- 43:33Speaker 1: never really mess with. Okay, there's a group of people
- 43:36Speaker 1: that you just don't mess with in the black community. Okay, okay,
- 43:41Speaker 1: all right now, of course, why not let's cross the line.
- 43:46Speaker 1: This right here is the church Ussher. My fingers are,
- 43:52Speaker 1: I'm out of here. That's that group you don't fool
- 43:54Speaker 1: with right there to chug users. All you ushers out there,
- 43:58Speaker 1: stand up. This is for you. Hello, Hello, I'm trying
- 44:03Speaker 1: to reach your sister. How you doing? Good? Good evening
- 44:09Speaker 1: to you, ma'am. I don't mean to be giving you
- 44:11Speaker 1: a call this late in the evening, but I I
- 44:13Speaker 1: am the new youth minister. I haven't. My name is
- 44:16Speaker 1: Sean Williams over at Missionary Baptist Church, which mine is
- 44:22Speaker 1: new youth. What happened, Um, he's no longer with the
- 44:26Speaker 1: church anymore? Man? No, Well, I'm not at liberty to
- 44:32Speaker 1: speak up on that. But but what I was doing
- 44:35Speaker 1: is getting around and making sure I met everyone because
- 44:38Speaker 1: I haven't met everyone yet and I wanted to reach
- 44:41Speaker 1: out to um everyone at the church. But listen, let
- 44:45Speaker 1: me let me get down to some more business. Because
- 44:47Speaker 1: I've spoken with the pastor. Uh we spoke yes, Bishop yes,
- 44:54Speaker 1: manop okay. I spoke with him on yesterday, and we
- 45:01Speaker 1: have narrowed some things down over a few changes we're
- 45:04Speaker 1: going to be making at the church. And what we
- 45:07Speaker 1: want to do is um. One of the major subjects
- 45:09Speaker 1: that have come up to us to please that we're
- 45:12Speaker 1: wanting you, if at all possible, and the deacons were
- 45:16Speaker 1: in on this meeting as well, but wanting you to
- 45:19Speaker 1: change your attitude when people are coming in and you're
- 45:22Speaker 1: seating them. From my understanding, it's gotten to the point
- 45:24Speaker 1: where they think you're wait wait wait wait wait wait
- 45:27Speaker 1: wait a minute, wait, thank you, I've had a meeting
- 45:29Speaker 1: on me. Well, it wasn't a meeting. I don't understand.
- 45:32Speaker 1: Listen here, I've been ushering on that on a usher
- 45:35Speaker 1: board before the seven years. I am the sitting the
- 45:39Speaker 1: usher on that usher board, and I fally I've been
- 45:42Speaker 1: trying to be naught about it. But I don't understand
- 45:44Speaker 1: how y'all don't have a meeting without me. But now
- 45:49Speaker 1: you won't call him and tell me that you having
- 45:51Speaker 1: a meeting on me about me being nice, always nice, Well, ma'am,
- 45:57Speaker 1: that doesn't seem to be unders old as you twenty
- 46:01Speaker 1: seven man and then some bar to call me this
- 46:06Speaker 1: don't make no type of what is it? Well, what
- 46:11Speaker 1: that's actually my call, man, is that maybe we figured
- 46:14Speaker 1: if I would call and speak with you about the matter,
- 46:16Speaker 1: that maybe we can get to some type of rectifying
- 46:21Speaker 1: this situation to where we can we gonna rectify here.
- 46:23Speaker 1: I'm gonna recotify. You calling me this time of night
- 46:27Speaker 1: taught my some meeting. This don't make no time. I
- 46:30Speaker 1: don't appasionate you calling me any time a night way
- 46:35Speaker 1: is Bishop, I need to speak the bishop. Bishop. I've
- 46:40Speaker 1: been at this church for part of seven years. I've
- 46:42Speaker 1: been saved. Oh my life. This don't make no type
- 46:44Speaker 1: of sense. You calling me here with this mess. Y'all
- 46:47Speaker 1: going to make me cause I'm trying to be a Christian.
- 46:51Speaker 1: But y'all not gonna ask me to be a Christians.
- 46:53Speaker 1: She just gonna just gonna agitate me with this mess
- 46:56Speaker 1: for telling me about something. Be nice, remember that saying
- 46:59Speaker 1: that they have a problems when you're seating the people,
- 47:01Speaker 1: and that's all that we're trying to get rectified. People
- 47:04Speaker 1: don't want to sit down. They want to go over here,
- 47:06Speaker 1: they want to go up there. They want to have
- 47:08Speaker 1: the children runner too and through. It's like a bunch
- 47:10Speaker 1: of demons a while he just bucking around in a
- 47:13Speaker 1: church like they ain't got no sense. And I'm not
- 47:15Speaker 1: going to have it. In my sextion. My section is
- 47:17Speaker 1: gonna be straight, and I understand it. Let you know what,
- 47:20Speaker 1: since the I think if we did this if you
- 47:23Speaker 1: would do me a favor and hold your phone, and
- 47:25Speaker 1: if you would just bow your head right now for me,
- 47:28Speaker 1: maybe we can come to get to get the man up.
- 47:32Speaker 1: What am I bound my head for. I'spital and a
- 47:36Speaker 1: clean baby. If we can get your lords. It's clean,
- 47:39Speaker 1: it's hospital corpet it don't make no if I bound
- 47:42Speaker 1: my head, if you could, maybe if you could close
- 47:44Speaker 1: your eyes, since I want to close my said you
- 47:48Speaker 1: call me a wok here boy to my fleet with
- 47:50Speaker 1: this mass t I'm meeting. I am very annoyed at this,
- 47:54Speaker 1: and I don't appreciate it. I'm gonna tell you right now,
- 47:56Speaker 1: I'm gonna speak to me now. Father. We asked that
- 47:59Speaker 1: you look down. I want Si stick. We asked that
- 48:01Speaker 1: you look down upon her right now, right now, asking
- 48:05Speaker 1: that you put a smile on her face on Sunday morning,
- 48:08Speaker 1: ask him that you put some joy in her heart
- 48:11Speaker 1: on Sunday morning, asking let you draw all the pain
- 48:14Speaker 1: that she in the angles that she might be going through,
- 48:17Speaker 1: whatever demon there is inside, We asked that you draw
- 48:21Speaker 1: that demon out. We asked that you pour that demon
- 48:24Speaker 1: went away from sister right now in your name. We
- 48:28Speaker 1: ask all of these blessings to come, because I don't
- 48:31Speaker 1: appreciate this boy. I don't even know who you eat
- 48:34Speaker 1: high number. A pastor gave me the number one and
- 48:37Speaker 1: asked me to call I am like I said, I'm
- 48:39Speaker 1: Sean Williams. We haven't met yet, and I am the news.
- 48:42Speaker 1: He don't, he don't, he don't act that way. And
- 48:44Speaker 1: it's Bishop. For the third time. I've told you, boy, Bishop,
- 48:48Speaker 1: be respectful of the folks. That's let me. Let me
- 48:51Speaker 1: let me say this right here, sister, and maybe this
- 48:55Speaker 1: will shed some light on things a little bit clearer.
- 48:59Speaker 1: I'm ten you ahead. This is nephew Timmy from Steve
- 49:02Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. You just got pranked by sister who

- 50:10Speaker 1: you know, because you show a little her business. What
- 50:17Speaker 1: is the baddest radio show in the land, The Steve
- 50:22Speaker 1: Hardd Morning Show, and look to it and Hardy Mother

- 52:37Speaker 1: and hold on tight. We guide it for all you here.
- 52:39Speaker 1: It is Strawberry letter. Subject I need both of them,
- 52:43Speaker 1: and I need to do a disclaimer before we read
- 52:45Speaker 1: this letter. If you have small children, you don't want
- 52:48Speaker 1: them to hear this. Cover up their ears. Okay again,
- 52:53Speaker 1: the subject is I need both of them. Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 52:57Speaker 1: My husband and I have been through hell and back
- 52:59Speaker 1: in our four year marriage. He cheated on me first,
- 53:02Speaker 1: and then I cheated on him. When I cheated, I
- 53:06Speaker 1: got caught in the act, and the guy I cheated
- 53:08Speaker 1: with writes motorcycles with my husband. How it happened was crazy.
- 53:13Speaker 1: We went to a biking event and my husband got drunk,
- 53:16Speaker 1: so his friend brought us home. His friend helped me
- 53:19Speaker 1: get him into bed. Then we went outside to smoke
- 53:22Speaker 1: some weeds. I hadn't had sex in months because my
- 53:25Speaker 1: husband cheated on me. I got so high. I started
- 53:29Speaker 1: telling his friend all of our business, and then some
- 53:32Speaker 1: kind of way, we ended up on the side of
- 53:35Speaker 1: the house, naked from the waist down. I was hooking up.
- 53:40Speaker 1: I was hooking him up when my husband started calling
- 53:43Speaker 1: my name, and when he came to the side of
- 53:45Speaker 1: the house, we didn't have time to pull our pants
- 53:48Speaker 1: up or run. We were busted. I told my husband
- 53:52Speaker 1: I was sorry, and then he surprised us by telling
- 53:56Speaker 1: us to finish because he wanted to watch. We couldn't
- 54:01Speaker 1: work under that pressure, so I got dressed and when
- 54:03Speaker 1: it died and he encouraged his friend to come inside
- 54:07Speaker 1: and finish me off while he watched. I think this
- 54:10Speaker 1: is something they've done before. Because they were both too comfortable.
- 54:14Speaker 1: We started having sex, and then my husband joined in.
- 54:17Speaker 1: This was my first threesome with two men, and I
- 54:21Speaker 1: can't believe my husband allowed this. A few days later,
- 54:26Speaker 1: he decided to bring it up and asked me to
- 54:28Speaker 1: be honest with him. I told him I need the
- 54:31Speaker 1: both of them every once in a while to keep
- 54:34Speaker 1: things interesting. He said it was fine and he'd be
- 54:38Speaker 1: he'd he'd bring a female over some time so that
- 54:42Speaker 1: he can have some fun too. I shut it down
- 54:45Speaker 1: and said, I only want him and his friend. Now
- 54:49Speaker 1: he's acting jealous, so why did he start all of this.
- 54:56Speaker 1: That's what he wants, don't you see it? That's what
- 54:59Speaker 1: he wants. I mean, some kind of way. We ended
- 55:02Speaker 1: up on the side of the house, naked from the
- 55:04Speaker 1: waist down. I thought that was really like the craziest
- 55:07Speaker 1: line in the letter. But there is more. I mean,
- 55:11Speaker 1: there's a lot of them in here. Your husband asked
- 55:13Speaker 1: his friend to finish you off so he could watch. Then,
- 55:18Speaker 1: I'm thinking this is really working out for your favor
- 55:21Speaker 1: because hubby is on board with all of this and
- 55:24Speaker 1: he's joining in. And he didn't kill you, guys. He
- 55:27Speaker 1: didn't kill his friend, he didn't kick you out, he
- 55:30Speaker 1: didn't divorce you, he didn't give his friend a beat
- 55:33Speaker 1: down any of that. Nothing, nothing normal happened in this letter.
- 55:38Speaker 1: So I'm thinking, since both of you are cheaters and
- 55:40Speaker 1: you like threesomes and all of this, and your husband
- 55:43Speaker 1: likes watching and all of that, although you know he
- 55:48Speaker 1: can't bring females in because you shut that down, it
- 55:51Speaker 1: just sounds like you guys are in some sort of
- 55:53Speaker 1: open marriage and you don't know it. You know, you
- 55:56Speaker 1: just haven't named it yet. This is what swingers do.
- 56:00Speaker 1: They share their mates with others, and that's what you
- 56:02Speaker 1: guys are into. So I just say, go ahead, put
- 56:05Speaker 1: a label on it and own it, because that's what
- 56:08Speaker 1: this crazy marriage is, okay, and it is what it is.
- 56:13Speaker 1: You guys are into sharing, period. Steve, you know the
- 56:23Speaker 1: problem with this letter, it's at the question at the end,
- 56:28Speaker 1: and it's at the answer to that question at the end.
- 56:34Speaker 1: It is also how the letter begins. The question at
- 56:38Speaker 1: the end is so why did he start all of this?
- 56:43Speaker 1: Why did he start all of this? Is the question. Well,
- 56:47Speaker 1: let me tell you what happened at the top of
- 56:49Speaker 1: the letter. They've been in are back and forth short
- 56:52Speaker 1: through hell and back relationship from four year marriage. He
- 56:57Speaker 1: cheated on me first, then I cheated on him. When
- 57:03Speaker 1: I cheated, I got caught in the act. And the
- 57:07Speaker 1: guy I cheated with rides motorcycles with my husband. That's
- 57:13Speaker 1: a lot of information. We didn't even out of paragraph one.
- 57:19Speaker 1: This letter is packed with facts and we not even matter.
- 57:24Speaker 1: Did you hear me? So that when you go back
- 57:27Speaker 1: to the end of the letter and it goes, so
- 57:29Speaker 1: why did he start all this? What? He cheated on
- 57:35Speaker 1: me first? Then I cheated on him. Then when I cheated,
- 57:37Speaker 1: I got caught in the act. And the guy I
- 57:39Speaker 1: cheated with ride motorcycle with my husband. That ain't all
- 57:43Speaker 1: he ride or it ain't just motorcycles. He's a rider.
- 57:52Speaker 1: He just a riding. He read it up what you
- 57:57Speaker 1: want to do. He ride bikes, He rides trailer holmes,
- 58:03Speaker 1: he rides on He do sidewalling on side of houses.
- 58:08Speaker 1: He uh, he shrieks. Oh, he do service calls. He
- 58:15Speaker 1: got a tuck in service at night for drunk men
- 58:18Speaker 1: that need to be tucked in bed. This this is
- 58:21Speaker 1: just an amazing letter. So when I come back, I
- 58:25Speaker 1: want to share with you. You know, because like I
- 58:28Speaker 1: told you, y'all, y'all went to a biking event. Your
- 58:30Speaker 1: husband got so drunk that his friend bought y'all home,
- 58:33Speaker 1: and his friends helped me get him into bed. See
- 58:36Speaker 1: that's a service. That's a nice friend. Then y'all went
- 58:39Speaker 1: outside smoking weed. See that right there, her plug. He
- 58:45Speaker 1: helped you get your husband in bed. He got weed.
- 58:49Speaker 1: She was high, dud, she was so high. I ain't
- 58:53Speaker 1: never been that high. Steven's response coming up at twenty
- 58:59Speaker 1: three minutes to be our strawberry letters subject today. I
- 59:02Speaker 1: need both of them, all right, we'll be back right
- 59:05Speaker 1: after this. You're listening, all right, Come on, Steve, let's
- 59:10Speaker 1: recap today's strawberry letter. I need both of them as
- 59:14Speaker 1: a subject. This letter so crazy. Uh. This lady been
- 59:19Speaker 1: been through hell back and forth in a short fold
- 59:22Speaker 1: year marriage. He cheated on me first, then I cheated
- 59:27Speaker 1: on him. Then when I cheated, I got caught in
- 59:31Speaker 1: the act. The guy cheated with riding motorcycle with my hook.
- 59:37Speaker 1: That sounded like that movie is Smoking the Bandit where
- 59:42Speaker 1: Jackie Gleason was describing how he was chasing bird ryhams
- 59:47Speaker 1: cross the country. He got charges on him. He was
- 59:51Speaker 1: eating that sandwich. Give him my give me that the
- 59:53Speaker 1: blue sandwich. He'd a cross state line to guid him
- 59:59Speaker 1: for ki napping, high speed chasing, distraught police property. So
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: this is what I left with the lady husband. See
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: how this sounds that that's a funny part to me.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: So now let's move on down the letter. So they
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: went outside after he tucked the husband in bed who
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: got drunk at the bottom at the motorcycle riding event.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: His friend got your husband. Your husband got so drunk.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: He helped you get him in the house and tuck
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: him in bed. Then y'all went outside to smoke some weed.
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: You ain't had sex in months because your husband cheated
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: on him. I got so high, I started telling his
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: friend all our business. And there's some kind of way
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: to hit the part right here, like you don't know, right,
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: some kind of way. We ended up on the side
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: of the house, nked from the way down. What you
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: got to take them down? Motorcycle boots off, you got
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: to take them chaps off. You gotta get them tight
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: and jeans off. You gotta get that motorcycle vest off.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: But you from the waist down. So you got the
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: honor your club. So you gotta keep your vest onf
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: on it, so you got your motorcycle patch on it.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: You can't disrespect the patch. That's like burning American flag
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: to a heel bit. So now y'all neck it from
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: the waist down. I was hooking him up when my
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: husband started calling my name, and when he came to
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: the side of the house, we ain't had time to
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: pull our pants up or run. I've never been in
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: that position ever. I can't run, so you're so comfortable
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: to took your clothes off and folded them up on
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: the ground in a pie. I got to have a
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: lead one leg in something. So now we didn't have
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: time to pull our pants up and run. We were busted.
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: I told my husband I'm sorry, and then he surprised
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: us by telling us to finish because he wanted to watch.
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: That was a surprise. You surprised everybody in the letter
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: with that one. Yeah, we we went. We couldn't work
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: under that pressure. So I got dressed and went inside,
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: and he didn't carriage his friend to come inside and
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: finish me off while he watched. I think this is
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: something they've done before because they were both too comfortable.
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: Wait a minute, that was your takeaway. Your lugs were
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: told another man to come in the house and finish
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: you off. Your takeaway is I think they've done this
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: folk because they comfortable and you wouldn't, right, pants are
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: so now we started having sex? What? Yeah? Yeah, lady,
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: you go along with all this. We started having sex
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: and then my husband joined in, joined it in, Ye man,
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: somebody doing my wife? And then I tap in like
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: you had a dance with white people, welcome, tap them
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: on the shoulder, my turn. You one of them white
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: dances now where they tap in? You had the bowl
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: regard ball or something. I said, that was my first
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: threeson with two men, and I can't believe my husband
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: allowed this. A few days later, he decided to bring
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: it up and ask me to be honest with him.
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: I told him I need to both of them every
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: once in a while to keep things interesting. He said
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: it was fine, and he'd bring a female female over
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: sometime so that he can have some fun too. I
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: shot that down. We ain't doing all that. I don't
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: know who you think I am, what type of woman
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: you think I am? Bring another woman? Up in here.
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: I just want uses. That's what she drew the line. Yeah,
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: draw this line up in here. There's gonna be three
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: people in the verage, gonna be two minuses and meat.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: That's weird anyway, because once I'm naked, I could be
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: the only one with a body part that looked like
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: mine in that room. I'mna talling that right now. And yeah,
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: it can't do two people in here with zippers. No,
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: so have several people in here with a dress on,
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: but it can't be one. Dude, didn't hear with no
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: damn zipper if we talk about getting naked. So, lady,
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: I ain't got no advice to you. Your question is
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: why did he start all this? The question is why
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: did you finish all this? Yeah, that's the question. Thank
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: you all right, Steve, Thank you leave your comments today.
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: Please on the Strawberry Letter on Instagram at Steve Harvey
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: at FAM and check out the Strawberry Letter podcasts on demand.

- 1:05:20Speaker 1: Right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: Time now for Junior and Sports Talk. What you got Junior?
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: Here we go. You know the Sweet sixteam Man, I'm
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: gonna tell you right now, nobody's bracket should be together
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: by that sixteen. It's twenty two. They say, yeah, it's
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: somebody's Brackett should not be together. Oh, I thought you
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: was talking about de Shaan Washing My bad. Yeah no, no,
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: but you know, man, the Cinderella story team or this year, man,
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: it's Saint Peter's University. Man, they have knocked off University
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: of Kentucky. They knocked them off. They was a two
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: seat Timmy. They go, yeah, you check it out by
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: Saint Peter's and they are fifteenth seated. They the lowest
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: seeded team in the sweet sixteen. Now one of the
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: number ones. They are already Gonne you're in No, Baylor's outshode.
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: That leaves Gonzaga, that leads Arizona, and that leaves Kansas
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: as the only number ones. Duke is in it, number
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: two Dukes. That duke is in there. And my man,
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: Juwan Howard a Michigan, Michigan is in the sweet sixteen. Yeah. Man,
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: so in the sweet sixteen they got they go, how
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: are you doing that? Man? Yeah, they got Bill Nova
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: is in there too, tim Yeah, man, it's gonna be
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: a good game. So all that starts tomorrow. Sweet sixteen
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: kicks off tomorrow. But in football news, let you know
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: that Matt Ryan, Matt Ryan had been traded since he
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: didn't go to Atlanta. They traded Matt Yeah to the
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: coach and gets some who the Falcons didn't. I know
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: Falcon on how problems is because gets who they did
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: tick now for their quarterback. They no, Marcus Mariota signed
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: a two year deal to be the quarterback for that
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: lant of fact, Well, the Falcons shouldn't have no problem
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: with this because they and Mattie Ice is a good
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: quarterback man. He could, but they can't win with him. Also,
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: Jameis Winson, I know he didn't went back. Now they
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: gotta they didn't get Deshaun was he called all these problems.
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: Jammes Winston has signed a new deal with the New
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: Orleans Saints. I know Tosh probably over there having a
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: heart attack. He's been six since Deshaun with the Cleveland
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: and that's said, no, they don't. They don't look out
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: there Deshaun's houseway on him. Start packing teams trying to
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: get footage of that. I've already offered to pay five
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: hundred thousand for the folds. I want to make sure
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: he coming. Man. So, man, that's pretty much what's happened
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: to the sports right now, Matt Ryan. Now tell you something, man,
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: Why I can't watch old sports? They don't can't remember
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: nothing though to have old sports sports? Why huh? Socket?
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: And you watch a camel race came, which is all right,
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: thank you, jer And you're coming up. At the top
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: of the hour. A Seattle man moved into his cubicle
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: after he couldn't pay his rent. We'll talk about that,
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: we'll talk about living at work. Right after this. You're
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Morning Show. In a techtok video
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: that is more than twelve million twelve million views, twenty
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: eight year old Simon Jackson explained that he had to
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: move into his work cubicle since he doesn't earn enough
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: money to cover his rent increase. He can be seen
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: unpacking his clothes and other belongings at an office cubicle
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: and putting them away into workshelves and drawers. Uh. Simon stated,
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: I'm moving from my apartment into my cubicle at work.
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: They do not pay me enough to do both. So
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: as a matter of protest, I am just going to
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: live at my job and we'll see how long I
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: can get away with this. He so he was, Yeah,
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: it says. It turns out his cubicle he's black. No,
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: Simon Jackson is black. I thought by the name Simon
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: Simon Jackson. There you got the millions of views on
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: TikTok or first of all, twelve million, twelve million, Well,
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: first of all came about to green. Your black ass
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: is trying this. Yeah, but they're not gonna let you
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: stay that side. Now. I don't know what you do
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: in this fault. If you're trying to find the right
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: bed at the shelter, I don't know what its fault,
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: but you know, good in hell, well, your ass is
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: not fit to stay in that damn cubicle. No, he's
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: been fired already. Yeah, and no one is there. Yeah
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: he's been fired. Yeah, he's been fired. No one is there.
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: Everyone is still working from home. TikTok, TikTok. Yeah, he's
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: someone he think he ain't have enough money off that check,
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: the payment that you fire. Yeah, I think right now
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: that unemployment check that couldn't need me some living. Well,
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: his cubicle stay only lasted four days and three nights
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: before his employer uh forced him to pack up his
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: things and of course they fired him. Now this is
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: a common problem since the average rent for a one
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: bedroom apartment has risen considerably this year, so he can't
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: do both. So he decided to live at work and
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: just didn't work out for him. Where was he washing
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: it though? This lecture of him ironing at the job.
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: But I'm I'm gonna tell you something else that's gonna
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: start a trend because there's a lot of people called
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: he's gas pricing, don't feel like they can drive in
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: no mom, So there's gonna be a lot of people
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: staying in their cubicle cause they can't afford to drive
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: in because of these gas prices. You know. Yeah, but
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: I bet you Hr called him said listen here, I know.
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: But the twelve million views though, why did he put
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: it on TikTok? That was stupid, I guess yeah, monetizing it, Yeah,
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: twelve million views. That's that what we're gonna do next
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: since we didn't did this, now we got to do that.
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: Now what we do, We're gonna try to buy a house.
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: No one is gonna hire him a market live in
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: your cubicle. Somebody sitting that to me, let me see
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: the tiptok million. Oh you're gonna be twelve million in
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: one view. We can we make it one week in
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: a cubicle? Can we make it one week in a cubicle?
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: Did three years in the car? I probably can't now. Oh,
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: but now that's gonna be way different because I got
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: I got so many people work for me. Now, what's
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: the one thing the cubicle? What's the one thing you
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: can't do without? Though that you would have to have
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: it in your cubicle, A like so aware from my
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: chef to cook kitchen chef in your cubic. I don't know.
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: I don't know where he gonna bring this Hot Play
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: then that Stevie used to cook your own food at work.
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: Look at you now, sure Shirley knew I had. They
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: gave me a little office out at your beat in
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: La Well. I turned that office. I put a sofa
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: in there, I had flash screen TV, I had hot
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: Play electric. It was so small. It is your desk.
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: It was only big enough to put a love seat
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: in it. All right, A desk coming up in twenty minutes.
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: There's there's a dating app for single parents. It's new.
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after this. You're listening to show. Well,
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: apparently single parents are having a hard time dating and
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: popular dating apps have failed them. So a brand new
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: app for single parents launched on March second, which was
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: National Single Parents' Day. The new dating app, it's called Stir,
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: will cater to the specific needs of single parents who
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: aren't finding love on mainstream dating apps. Studies have shown
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: that single parents naturally gravitate towards each towards other single parents.
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: I think that's natural because they didn't have to explain
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: their constraint, and as they are in the same stage
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: of life, so I think it should be interesting. What
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: do you guys think? But what if they both have like,
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: you know, seven kids, like Steve or something, and they're
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: trying to make a love connection. What do you guys
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: think I need to if I'm single, I don't know
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: how many damn kids. You've got enough? You got five,
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: six kids, and that's not I need to Can we
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: feel that out when we when we type in our information,
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: we need to know that datable. Is that what you're
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: saying she has from me? Yeah? Okay, yeah, Well, well
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: what if you have five or six kids. You want
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: somebody to date you, but I'm not looking for somebody
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: that have got well, we don't need is another five,
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: not as teen, So you get someone with children. Yeah,
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: I can date somebody with children, but it can't be six.
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: What's your limit? Dog? Yeah? By by one? Two? Okay one,
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: We're not doing buddy. We're gonna date you guys. All right,
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: up in thirty three minutes after we'll play a round
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: or wouldn't you rather right after this? You're listening to
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Time now for would you rather?
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: Would you rather wear pajamas to a radio studio your job?
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: Or would you rather work from home in a suit?
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: I'm going to the studio. No in pajamas. I want
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: to be home. I put on anybody's gonna see me.
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: I'm just gonna be suited from the waist up. June.
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: Just from the waist up. That's it. I'll get you
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: in trouble. Don't stand up and draw right there so
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: you have naked people. That was now Strawberry letter to
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: day just on the side of your house with your pants.
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: It don't really matter to me. I'm that worker, wear
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: to work or wear the super over. Hell, I'm comfortable
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: leaven keeping, sexy keeping, rocket or slides. All right? Would
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: you rather be five inches shorter or have two left feet? Tommy?
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: You know what, I'm starting to feel like all leaves
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: are written for me. I'm sick of this. What Hey?
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: What they said? Yeah? Five inches shorter? Just five inches?
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: Or would you rather have two left feet? I'm gonna
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: go with them two left feet, ain't I'm can not
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: get a sort of shit. Hey, I'll just be walking
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: left circles. I don't care whatever. Yeah, two left feet, okay, Um,
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: I'm gonna take twenty left feet and then I just
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: tell people I'm slew footed, walking like a spike lee.
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: What about your junior? I had the two left feet?
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: I mean, I can't afford to give a bite. No,
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: all right? Would you rather be widely famous and wealthy
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: or an unknown billionaire? Unknown? Be Yeah, that's here, mister Richard,
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: famous famous and wealthy you're already bad. Or an unknown billionaire?
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: Yeah you gave me that billion you can kiss him
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: out black behind. What happened to Steve? I don't know, Yeah,
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: he fell off he ain't doing good no more. I
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: saw him and Marjorie and the south of France on
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: Somebody's yeah, that's mine. All right? One more if we
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: can get to watch convention in Geneva. I think some
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: people took him over there. We flew ourselves. I might
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: be an unknown billionail, but by the time you give
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: me this billion, y'all gonna know me. Trust me, I'm
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: gonna make myself very well known. That's our round of
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: would you rather? For today? We'll be back with the
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: last break of the day and some closing remarks from
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: the one and only Steve Harvey. Right after this, you're
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: listening to Steven Show. All right, guys, here we are
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: our last break of the day and Steve. Before we

- 1:19:33Speaker 1: mat behind that desk is easy. You're behind one of
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: them tables. Who is different? Best of you? The defended.
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: I've only man, seriously, I've only been in court, Lawnson,
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: been a playing really always the defender. Oh that crazy,
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: Thank you Lord. In closing to that, I would like
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: to share something with you. I was listening to a
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: friend of mine online in a motivational speech he was
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: giving Denzel Washington, and I was listening to him, and
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: it prompted me to thinking, and I was had just
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: watched a short clip of I was telling people that
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: you've got to understand that when you're in the process
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: of succeeding, in the process of going through the changes
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: of life and then and the flows of life, not
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: to get too frustrated because God is processing you. He's
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: preparing you for everything you ask for and in getting
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: the things you want in life, the things you ask for,
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: You're going to have to pass a lot of tests
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: because after you get to what you ask God for,
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: you're going to be faced with challenges to maintain it,
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: to continue to hold onto it, and to go even further.
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: So what happens is this thing called life causes you
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: to get experienced. So when you're facing challenges and setbacks
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: and hardships, you have to understand something, y'all, that you
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: have to go through these things so you become experienced.
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: You can forget wanting it to go smoothly, because that's
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: not the experience of life. Experienced people of value are
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: experienced of value because they know how to survive hardships.
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: Anybody can go through the good times anybody. Anybody who
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: you know can't handle fund, who you know can't handle sunshine.
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: Nah man, you got to survive some storms before you
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: are of value to anybody. Because don't nobody come to you, man,
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: I'm just having too much fun. My life is going
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: too smooth. What should I do? Nobody ever came to
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: you with that. People come to you with problems, people
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: come to you with situations, people come to you man hurting.
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: Ain't nobody coming to you man? Because it's going all right,
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: and just want to know what shud they do next?
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: That ain't how this work. So in order to become
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: a valuable person to anybody, you're going to have to
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: be able to advise them, to give them suggestion, give
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: them the techniques, teach them how to get through it.
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: Talk to them about what you did. That's the only way.
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: So now forget about this perfect existence because that doesn't exist.
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: Stop trying to play it safe because you're never going
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: to be that if you if you don't fail, that
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: simply means you're not even trying. And if you hear
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: anybody talking to you about man, I've done this and
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: I've done that, and they make it all look like
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: it's gravy and it's smooth, they lying. They are lying.
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: I didn't go through none of that. You know, I
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: just hung in there, man, and it all worked out
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: for me. That's a lie. That's a lie. If they're
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: telling you that story, you need to take real close
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: look at who they are, because they are not who
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: they say they all and they do not have what
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: they claim to have. I promise you that, because if
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: you have anything, you have failed to get it, because
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: failures are part of the process. I assistant to Denzel.
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: He said his wife, Paul Letter told him something very valuable.
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: He said that she said, to get something you never had,
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: you're gonna have to do something you've never done. I
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: can't tell you how true that is. To get something
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: you never had, you're gonna have to do something you've
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: never done, period, period. It just leads me to what
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: I understand. Whatever you want in life, you got to
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: go through something to get it. You can write this down.
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: Whatever you want in life, you're gonna have to go
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: through something to get it. It's not just right there.
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: Whatever you really want, it's not just right there. It's
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: not in front of you on the table in a
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: box with some paper on it and a ribbon. That's
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: what you want. You think it's gonna come in a
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: prepackaged box like it's sitting under the tree waiting on you.
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: That's what you think. Are you kidding me? That's not
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: how it works. Man. The things that you want in life,
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: you're gonna have to go through something to get it.
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: God does not put things of value in a box
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: with a ribbon on it and set it under the
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: tree all year long. That's Christmas homie. The rest of
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: the years work. Those are my clothes. Remarks to get
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: something you never had, You're gonna have to do something
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: you never did. Thank you, Paul Letter. Y'all have a
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: great thing. Hey, listen, talk to God. He'd love to
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: hear from you. For all Steve Harvey contests, no purchase necessary,
