- 1:44Speaker 1: to turn them out to turn the water. The water

- 2:03Speaker 1: Good morning everybody. You'll listening to the voice, Come on,
- 2:06Speaker 1: dig me now running only Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Ain't got a good man? I mean, really, hey, you
- 2:13Speaker 1: know what to date, I'm gonna try something different, and
- 2:16Speaker 1: it's amazing. I'm gonna try something different because that's kind
- 2:18Speaker 1: of what we're gonna talk about this morning. Do something
- 2:21Speaker 1: different this year. Look, if what you've been doing has
- 2:25Speaker 1: just gotten you to this point and you are not
- 2:28Speaker 1: content with the point you are at, then we need
- 2:31Speaker 1: to make an adjustment. I mean, don't that seem like
- 2:33Speaker 1: the common sense thing to do? It does to me.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Let's just do something different this year. Make a commitment.
- 2:40Speaker 1: I'm gonna do something different. I'm gonna put forth a
- 2:42Speaker 1: little bit more effort. I'm gonna quit trying. I'm gonna
- 2:45Speaker 1: do it this year. You know sometimes that that simple
- 2:49Speaker 1: change of attitude is enough. Instead of trying, I'm gonna
- 2:52Speaker 1: do it. And it's just as simple as that. Sometimes,
- 2:55Speaker 1: just remove certain words out the way, stop trying to
- 2:58Speaker 1: do something. You know, I decided this year I wasn't
- 3:00Speaker 1: gonna try to be a better person this year. I'm
- 3:03Speaker 1: just gonna go about the business of being a better
- 3:05Speaker 1: person this year and see how that work. You know,
- 3:08Speaker 1: because like I said a thousand times, or if you
- 3:10Speaker 1: keep doing what you've been doing, you're gonna keep getting
- 3:13Speaker 1: what you've been getting. It, don't change it, don't change
- 3:16Speaker 1: unless you change it. But you have the power to
- 3:19Speaker 1: change it. The power of decision is in your hands.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Decide to do something different, make a commitment, say you
- 3:27Speaker 1: know what, this year, I'm gonna do the right thing. Now,
- 3:30Speaker 1: let me warn you when you decide to do the
- 3:33Speaker 1: right thing, understand here, come to haters. What they're not
- 3:38Speaker 1: gonna let you do is make a conscious decision to
- 3:40Speaker 1: be a better person without something to be said. Come on, now,
- 3:44Speaker 1: you think the devil just gonna let you all of
- 3:46Speaker 1: a sudden, you're gonna you're gonna be better When he
- 3:49Speaker 1: needed to keep you on the wrong side of the track,
- 3:51Speaker 1: you're gonna go up on the other side. So here
- 3:53Speaker 1: come to hate. Now, Now let me tell you what's
- 3:55Speaker 1: gonna happen, because I'm speaking from experience. This is what
- 3:59Speaker 1: I know, and all of you out there and notice
- 4:01Speaker 1: to be true because all I'm doing right now, we're
- 4:03Speaker 1: just having to remind the conversation. When you decide to
- 4:06Speaker 1: do the right thing, it's going to be unpopular with
- 4:10Speaker 1: some people. Some people ain't gonna like your decision because
- 4:13Speaker 1: now your decision to start getting to work on time,
- 4:17Speaker 1: or your decision to finally go home and be the
- 4:19Speaker 1: man you're supposed to be, or your decision to finally
- 4:22Speaker 1: going to take care of your kids in spite of
- 4:24Speaker 1: it all, or your decision to man, I'm gonna come
- 4:27Speaker 1: in here, man and start loving my girl the way
- 4:29Speaker 1: she deserved to be loved. And all this here, Okay,
- 4:31Speaker 1: Now that's gonna put somebody on an outlooking in. You
- 4:36Speaker 1: do understand that when you decide to come to work
- 4:38Speaker 1: on time every day, you're you're you're homie over that
- 4:41Speaker 1: has been coming in late with you. Now all of
- 4:43Speaker 1: a sudden, you got you got You don't put a
- 4:46Speaker 1: spotlight on him. Now all of a sudden, Man, you
- 4:48Speaker 1: ain't coming in late women no more. Man. Now they're
- 4:50Speaker 1: looking at me like I'm crazy by myself. Yeah yeah, man,
- 4:53Speaker 1: Because when you decide to do the right things, it
- 4:55Speaker 1: becomes unpopular to some people. When you decide to do
- 4:59Speaker 1: the right thing experience, they're gonna talk about you. Look
- 5:03Speaker 1: at him now, and now he gonna go home. Now
- 5:06Speaker 1: he know he'd been out here in the streets. He
- 5:07Speaker 1: gonna try to go home and see his wife. Yeah man, yeah, yeah,
- 5:10Speaker 1: you just made that decision. But they're gonna talk about you. Now.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Guess what. The girl that you've been going over to sea,
- 5:16Speaker 1: she gonna talk about you. You ain't this, You ain't that.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Because now you're going home. Your boy's gonna talk about you.
- 5:21Speaker 1: Because you're going home, and you're gonna get some flat
- 5:23Speaker 1: when you do the right thing. Here come, somebody ain't
- 5:28Speaker 1: gonna like it. Somebody wants you to stay wrong, misery
- 5:31Speaker 1: love company. When you make the decision to do the
- 5:34Speaker 1: right thing, somebody is gonna call you a hypocrite because
- 5:39Speaker 1: you know what they're gonna do. They're gonna point out
- 5:42Speaker 1: the way you were in the past versus the way
- 5:44Speaker 1: you decided to be brand new. How you all of
- 5:47Speaker 1: a sudden claiming this one I saw you doing that.
- 5:50Speaker 1: Please understand when you make the decision to do the
- 5:53Speaker 1: right thing, Here they come. You're a hypocrite. You think
- 5:57Speaker 1: they don't call me that? They call me that, Steve
- 5:59Speaker 1: Harvey fake, I hear. Man. Look on Twitter, you try
- 6:03Speaker 1: to tweet people positive stuff. Here come a tweet you fake.
- 6:07Speaker 1: Your family ain't all that. I ain't say my family was, man,
- 6:11Speaker 1: I'm just trying to give out some positive encouragement, you know.
- 6:14Speaker 1: But here head come. You're a hypocrite. I remember when
- 6:18Speaker 1: you was out on a tour with the Kings of Comedy.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Yeah me too, I remember that too. But I ain't
- 6:22Speaker 1: out on tour with him no more. We didn't all changed. Hello.
- 6:27Speaker 1: So now what you want me to do? You want
- 6:29Speaker 1: to keep living up to what you saw me as
- 6:31Speaker 1: what I was? And I can't get no credit with
- 6:33Speaker 1: you for what I'm trying to be. Now, that's dan.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Now you're gonna be a hypocrite, you fake? No, man,
- 6:39Speaker 1: you ain't fake. You just have made the decision to
- 6:41Speaker 1: be a better person, that's all. And now because you
- 6:43Speaker 1: ain't the person you was the person they knew. Now
- 6:45Speaker 1: they see the new you. Now you're a hypocrite. You
- 6:47Speaker 1: ain't a hypocrite. You just change it. Don't let them
- 6:49Speaker 1: hate to shake you. Man, go on about your business
- 6:52Speaker 1: when they talking about you. Look at him now, gonna
- 6:55Speaker 1: try to go home. He's been with me all this time. Hey, man,
- 6:58Speaker 1: just go home. Oh he gonna try to go home now, Man,
- 7:01Speaker 1: he knows Friday nights. Man, we didn't told our girls
- 7:03Speaker 1: that's where we at. Now he's showing up at the
- 7:05Speaker 1: house because he don't want to come on player a man,
- 7:08Speaker 1: Just go home. It's gonna be unpopular. You're gonna get
- 7:11Speaker 1: talked about. They're gonna say you're a hypocrite. But do
- 7:14Speaker 1: the right thing. God will bless you for that. That's
- 7:17Speaker 1: something in Proverbs that says, if you honor God, if
- 7:19Speaker 1: you do the right thing, if you seek him out,
- 7:21Speaker 1: God will cause his blessings to chase you down. Do
- 7:25Speaker 1: you understand me what that means? Can you imagine what
- 7:28Speaker 1: would happen in your life if God were to take
- 7:32Speaker 1: some blessings and chase you down with him. Do you
- 7:36Speaker 1: know that there's no hiding from him in your deepest,
- 7:40Speaker 1: darkest secret He know about the stuff that you didn't
- 7:43Speaker 1: kept out the light from everybody else. He know about
- 7:46Speaker 1: all of that. So now if he has got some
- 7:49Speaker 1: blessings that he gonna chase you down with, you can't
- 7:52Speaker 1: even escape him. You look up and here come another one.
- 7:55Speaker 1: That go another one, Here he go again. Man. That's
- 7:58Speaker 1: why I'm trying to get my life too, because at
- 8:01Speaker 1: the end, man, what I do not want, Man, And
- 8:04Speaker 1: not even at the end, I just don't want now.
- 8:07Speaker 1: God to have all these boxes up in heaven, these
- 8:11Speaker 1: blessings with my name on them, and I don't get
- 8:13Speaker 1: them sent to me because I'm down here clowning so hard.
- 8:17Speaker 1: He ain't He can't even ship blessings to me because
- 8:20Speaker 1: I'm just so dead wrong that I'm blocking the blessings man,
- 8:24Speaker 1: that God got for me. I would rather do the
- 8:28Speaker 1: best I can do and be the best I can be,
- 8:32Speaker 1: make some mistakes, ask for forgiveness, and get on up
- 8:35Speaker 1: and see what God got for me. And remember, Donnie
- 8:37Speaker 1: mclarkin got a song out. Man. We ain't got time
- 8:39Speaker 1: to play it now because I didn't talk too long.
- 8:41Speaker 1: But you know that's why I am right now. The
- 8:44Speaker 1: song it is one of my favorite guys, when Donnie
- 8:47Speaker 1: wrote We Fall Down, do you know I knew him
- 8:51Speaker 1: when he wrote the song. I thought he had wrote
- 8:54Speaker 1: the song for me. I really did, because it came
- 8:58Speaker 1: out after a conversation we were having, and I thought
- 9:01Speaker 1: he had wrote the song for me because it's so
- 9:04Speaker 1: appropriate to my life. And I bet you it's appropriate
- 9:08Speaker 1: to your life, because you see, guess what, We fall down,
- 9:11Speaker 1: but we get up. He has a line in the
- 9:13Speaker 1: song that says, a saint, it's just a sinner who
- 9:17Speaker 1: fell down, but he didn't stay there. That's the deal, y'all. Look,
- 9:23Speaker 1: you gonna make some mistakes. Just don't stay there. Just
- 9:27Speaker 1: get up, man, and walk straight again. Then while you're
- 9:30Speaker 1: walking straight and right and trying to be righteous, you're
- 9:33Speaker 1: gonna fall. Get up. Don't stay there and get back
- 9:36Speaker 1: on the straight and the righteous. You're gonna fall a
- 9:39Speaker 1: bunch of times. Just don't stay there, Just get up, man.
- 9:43Speaker 1: That's the only difference between the saint and the sinner.
- 9:45Speaker 1: They're the same people, man. Actually, that's what's the revealing news,
- 9:50Speaker 1: is saints is really sinners. They're the same people. They
- 9:54Speaker 1: just keep getting up, that's all man. You're listening, ladies
- 10:03Speaker 1: and gentlemen. Undivided attention is all that's required here, nothing more. Uh,
- 10:09Speaker 1: just not necessary to have good sense. Uh, it's not
- 10:14Speaker 1: necessary to have common sense. Uh. Degrees are not needed. Um,
- 10:19Speaker 1: anything of any value. You just don't need it. Just
- 10:24Speaker 1: just need your listening. Because this is the Steve Harvey
- 10:28Speaker 1: Morning Show. We need you to be open minded and
- 10:32Speaker 1: receptive to the foolishness that's about to go down. Ladies
- 10:37Speaker 1: and gentlemen. This is thus Steve Harvey Morning Show. Make
- 10:42Speaker 1: no mistake about it. Ain't no other one batter than
- 10:45Speaker 1: this hill was. Let's get the stake. Start surely strong.
- 10:49Speaker 1: Good morning, Steve. Kick it on over the caller for Red.
- 10:52Speaker 1: Good morning, Steve, Hey, Chris, bring it on ind to
- 10:55Speaker 1: the impressionable care Junior spaces morning. I'm here and the
- 11:01Speaker 1: king of foolishness. Ladies and gentlemen. Nephew, Tommy, I love it.
- 11:16Speaker 1: I love it, but no, that's how you started. I
- 11:21Speaker 1: love it. Let's go. Let kick this morning off. Yeah yeah,
- 11:26Speaker 1: everything good? Yeah, how about with you? How are you selling?
- 11:31Speaker 1: I feel pretty good? Man, feel pretty good? Um Yeah,
- 11:35Speaker 1: I'm just like really really fine. You know. No, I
- 11:39Speaker 1: was just trying to think of how to describe it.
- 11:43Speaker 1: Let me ask you something, man, how often you count
- 11:46Speaker 1: your money? Though? Like once a week, once they're a
- 11:48Speaker 1: two weeks, you go look at it and look at
- 11:51Speaker 1: your zero? Did you hear what he said to me?
- 11:53Speaker 1: I don't ever do that. You don't never go look
- 11:56Speaker 1: at it like when you first okay, when when you
- 11:59Speaker 1: first got I go look at it. When is it
- 12:02Speaker 1: that it will be where you can go see it
- 12:05Speaker 1: a viewing at least online? You know, you go pull
- 12:07Speaker 1: up your bank account. Oh, I thought you meant like
- 12:10Speaker 1: look at the actual money. Yeah, just put it up
- 12:14Speaker 1: to say okay, you know I look at my bank accounts.
- 12:18Speaker 1: You know. Well, do you ever call down and say
- 12:21Speaker 1: I want all out this bank right now and then
- 12:23Speaker 1: say I'm just playing. Well, if you do, if you
- 12:25Speaker 1: threaten me, I've done that before. If you threate, oh yeah,
- 12:28Speaker 1: if you talk to me crazy, yeah, yeah, I throw
- 12:31Speaker 1: you're into something. Oh I won't get too How many
- 12:36Speaker 1: brinks trucks is that take all that? I ain't never
- 12:43Speaker 1: really had to do it. It set once and I
- 12:45Speaker 1: ain't had that much, but I had enough down there
- 12:47Speaker 1: to be effective. So bank talk to me crazy one time? Yeah,
- 12:52Speaker 1: I just said all right, no problem. Just let me
- 12:54Speaker 1: have my money. You gotta have talk to your manager.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Let me talk to him. So I'll be down in
- 12:59Speaker 1: my two thirty needed all in cash. There's about six
- 13:03Speaker 1: people in my house that evening. I kind of get
- 13:06Speaker 1: this together. Who said something to him? We're gonna straighten
- 13:11Speaker 1: this out right now? Who the hell? It's the former
- 13:19Speaker 1: employee here who made this mistake? I said it correctly, dame,
- 13:25Speaker 1: former employee here. Because you're done, you're listening. All right,
- 13:32Speaker 1: we're back. Let's go. Come on, y'all. I want to inspire.
- 13:34Speaker 1: I want to help. I want to uplift. I want
- 13:36Speaker 1: to share. It's not so much teaching as it is
- 13:39Speaker 1: for me with just share it. Your are the gift
- 13:41Speaker 1: that just keeps on giving. I try to be. I
- 13:44Speaker 1: want to ask a question. Go ahead, when you get
- 13:46Speaker 1: to a certain dollar amount, is there a dollar that
- 13:51Speaker 1: you don't lose anymore? Let's say you got a half
- 13:54Speaker 1: million dollars. Do you never go below something? Do you
- 13:59Speaker 1: never go do you pick? Do you pick a number
- 14:00Speaker 1: and say, okay, I can never be below three hundred thousand. Well,
- 14:04Speaker 1: I mean you should try to do that. You should
- 14:08Speaker 1: always have a breakpoint, a breakpoint. It's like your weight.
- 14:13Speaker 1: It's like I can only get so big, and then
- 14:15Speaker 1: I got to going back to the gym. Right now,
- 14:17Speaker 1: I'm on the top dollars. Okay, I just said stream
- 14:23Speaker 1: every day. So now it's like that with your finances.
- 14:27Speaker 1: You want to keep yourself because you gotta understand something.
- 14:30Speaker 1: If God blesses you to get to a certain point,
- 14:31Speaker 1: why would you go back? Right? Yeah, why would you
- 14:34Speaker 1: go back? You know, and you gotta understand it. You go, Okay,
- 14:37Speaker 1: while I've been there, done that, I know what it's
- 14:39Speaker 1: like to live mouth to mouth, check to check and
- 14:42Speaker 1: not say it takes a long time to stop living
- 14:44Speaker 1: check to check. I want you to understand it, so
- 14:46Speaker 1: don't feel bad if you do, because it takes a lot.
- 14:48Speaker 1: Even after you make a lot of money, you still
- 14:51Speaker 1: be living check to check a lot of times because
- 14:53Speaker 1: you still you're trying to get a lot of things,
- 14:55Speaker 1: acquire a lot of things. It's hard, but you want
- 14:58Speaker 1: to try to get Once you cross a certain threshold,
- 15:01Speaker 1: you want to try to stay on that side of
- 15:03Speaker 1: Kevin nine. And then you may dip it low, but
- 15:05Speaker 1: you want to try to get back, so fight as
- 15:07Speaker 1: hard as you can that's a good question. Okay, here's
- 15:09Speaker 1: my question, Um, how much and what should you invest in?
- 15:15Speaker 1: What's a good investment right now? Well, land is always
- 15:21Speaker 1: land and property it's always a good investment because it's
- 15:25Speaker 1: always an appreciable asset. Cars are not an appreciable asset.
- 15:29Speaker 1: Don't think you've invested in a car, there's nothing. Yeah,
- 15:34Speaker 1: land and property always appreciates because somebody's gonna always want
- 15:40Speaker 1: that land, or somebody will always need a house. Now,
- 15:43Speaker 1: does that include like a condo, things like just yes, condos, apartments,
- 15:49Speaker 1: a home, a piece of land. If you buy a
- 15:51Speaker 1: piece of land with the intent to build on it
- 15:53Speaker 1: one day, just having that land, I promise you in
- 15:57Speaker 1: a couple of years that land gonna be worth more
- 15:59Speaker 1: than you pay for and somebody will be willing to
- 16:01Speaker 1: give you more. That is the guaranteed. Now, there are
- 16:09Speaker 1: some more things that you can invest in, stocks and things. Yeah,
- 16:12Speaker 1: but that's always a little bit more risky. Yeah, risky,
- 16:15Speaker 1: always a little bit more risky. But there are safe stocks,
- 16:20Speaker 1: you know, there are stocks that ain't going nowhere. You know,
- 16:23Speaker 1: that's expensive. Apple ain't going too many places. Facebook ain't
- 16:27Speaker 1: goings ain't nowhere, you know, general electric ain't nowhere before
- 16:34Speaker 1: we were here? Yeah, certain things, okay, all right, yes, okay.
- 16:39Speaker 1: See what's your best advice, you know for keeping focused
- 16:44Speaker 1: on important things? You know, when distractions in our lives
- 16:48Speaker 1: are kind of constant and kind of throws you off
- 16:51Speaker 1: a little bit, what's your best advice to keep us focused? Well,
- 16:54Speaker 1: I learned this from Eric Thomas, to be honest with Oh,
- 16:58Speaker 1: he's one of the greatest motivation speakers I've ever heard.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Eric Thomas is a guy that I listened to it.
- 17:05Speaker 1: You know, I have some great speakers out there, but
- 17:07Speaker 1: Eric Thomas nails it for me because he talked like
- 17:11Speaker 1: I talked. Yeah, you know, he mad most of the time.
- 17:17Speaker 1: I love the intensity what you talked. When you have
- 17:21Speaker 1: your visions and you have your motivation, your dream, boyd,
- 17:27Speaker 1: the why you got it, write down the why, the
- 17:31Speaker 1: why you want it to happen. Because Eric Thomas said
- 17:35Speaker 1: that the why eliminates that I quit, that I can't
- 17:39Speaker 1: make it because the high come is too big? The
- 17:42Speaker 1: why are you doing it? Like I have to do
- 17:45Speaker 1: this for my family? Well, it's it's harder to quit
- 17:49Speaker 1: when it's more than just you on the line. You
- 17:53Speaker 1: have to create a why. These big dreams you have,
- 17:57Speaker 1: they have to have a why behind me that will
- 18:01Speaker 1: help you stay to it and fight through the discouragement. Also,
- 18:05Speaker 1: your dreams have to be bigger than the consequences are
- 18:10Speaker 1: the problems? Oh no, explain that, hey man. You gotta
- 18:14Speaker 1: want something so big that no matter what it takes
- 18:18Speaker 1: to get there, or what it costs, or what the
- 18:21Speaker 1: factor is, this dream so big I got to go
- 18:26Speaker 1: on to go for it. Okay, Okay, Okay, cool. So
- 18:29Speaker 1: I'm gonna lose time with my friends, but I'm gonna
- 18:32Speaker 1: be a millionaire Okay, cool. So I won't be able
- 18:36Speaker 1: to go to happy hour no more because I'm trying
- 18:38Speaker 1: to go on a vacation of a dream of a lifetime. Okay, cool? Yeah,
- 18:44Speaker 1: you know what I mean. Dream has to be so
- 18:49Speaker 1: big that it outweighs the problems or the consequence. Okay,
- 18:53Speaker 1: all right, that keeps you motivated like that? Okay, Yeah,
- 18:57Speaker 1: here's one more. I want to ask you this, because
- 19:00Speaker 1: you live this, do you ever feel guilty or have
- 19:05Speaker 1: you ever been made to feel guilty because of your success?
- 19:08Speaker 1: Because you're so successful? Lutely one hun you will go
- 19:15Speaker 1: through that period of feeling guilty about your success, mainly
- 19:21Speaker 1: because the people closest to you are usually not experiencing
- 19:25Speaker 1: your success, and they make you feel obligated to them
- 19:28Speaker 1: because of your success because I knew you when. Okay,
- 19:33Speaker 1: well I got you knew me when? But do you
- 19:36Speaker 1: know me now? And what does do you knew me when?
- 19:40Speaker 1: Got to do? It's where I am now, And my
- 19:42Speaker 1: obligation is not to you. My obligation is to my
- 19:45Speaker 1: wife and my children. Yeah, it's really not to my
- 19:48Speaker 1: brothers and sisters and my cousins and my homies that
- 19:50Speaker 1: I grew up with. It's really not. And then what
- 19:54Speaker 1: you try to do when you're successful, you want to
- 19:56Speaker 1: share your success and they know it, so they call
- 19:59Speaker 1: you it a and I know you got it, and
- 20:02Speaker 1: so you go yeah, yeah, yeah, what you need. That's
- 20:05Speaker 1: where I am. I know because they all got you.
- 20:08Speaker 1: Oh man, I know you got it. And now here
- 20:11Speaker 1: you go being a good brother, You going, yeah, man,
- 20:14Speaker 1: let me try to help you out. But that ain't
- 20:16Speaker 1: your job. That ain't your job. Okay. And if you're
- 20:19Speaker 1: getting the loaning money business, you're gonna lose a lot
- 20:23Speaker 1: of friends and you're gonna create a lot of drama.
- 20:26Speaker 1: In your own life loaning money, so you don't loan money.
- 20:30Speaker 1: Do you get I'm gonna give it to you? Or
- 20:33Speaker 1: that's it now? If y'all want to continue this conversation,
- 20:36Speaker 1: we can, Okay, I want you want to continue the
- 20:39Speaker 1: conversation when we come back most Steve harm Mota show
- 20:42Speaker 1: right after that. You're listening, we're back. Wow, what an
- 20:49Speaker 1: interesting conversation. I think it's important for people to hear
- 20:52Speaker 1: directly from somebody who doesn't have an agenda with their life,
- 20:56Speaker 1: Like I don't want y'all do this because I get
- 20:58Speaker 1: a piece all this here, you don't. I genuinely want
- 21:01Speaker 1: to share this information because I know it's important to people.
- 21:03Speaker 1: The average person out that really does want to know
- 21:06Speaker 1: how to make it. And unless somebody who has made
- 21:09Speaker 1: it gets down off the horse to share the information,
- 21:12Speaker 1: where you're gonna get the information from it? This information
- 21:15Speaker 1: and marriage didn't have this. I was just gonna say
- 21:18Speaker 1: that we as a as a race, we don't share
- 21:20Speaker 1: this type of information. We're starting to, maybe more now,
- 21:23Speaker 1: but growing up, the only thing we knew about money
- 21:26Speaker 1: was money doesn't grow on trees? Or do you think
- 21:28Speaker 1: I'm made of money? Things like that that our parents
- 21:31Speaker 1: told us. So now we're getting real information. Jay Z
- 21:33Speaker 1: is doing it in Yeah, he's doing it. Let's go,
- 21:38Speaker 1: let's go back to where we were for tell us
- 21:42Speaker 1: how we deal How do you deal with the guilt
- 21:45Speaker 1: that because I'm constantly I'm I loan a lot of money.
- 21:50Speaker 1: And let me ask you something. Loaning money does it
- 21:53Speaker 1: not create tension? Yes it does, Yes it does. Loaning
- 21:58Speaker 1: money creates more problem problems then it's solved, and it's
- 22:01Speaker 1: creating issues not only what the person that is loaned
- 22:04Speaker 1: to two, but then in your own home, because now
- 22:08Speaker 1: you have loaned some money that beloans in your home
- 22:12Speaker 1: and now somebody in your home may have to do
- 22:14Speaker 1: without because we didn't gave what we had over here.
- 22:19Speaker 1: And usually money you loan, but they don't understand about
- 22:22Speaker 1: people that's climbing up. Money they loan is money they need.
- 22:26Speaker 1: Then we don't have no extra free money. And then
- 22:29Speaker 1: let me explain something to you about Let me explain
- 22:31Speaker 1: something to you about loaning you money or giving you money.
- 22:35Speaker 1: Whenever I give you money, I'm actually giving you that
- 22:38Speaker 1: plus forty percent. If you ask me for a thousand
- 22:41Speaker 1: dollars and I give you a thousand dollars. What I'm
- 22:45Speaker 1: actually giving you, it's one thousand, four hundred dollars. Because
- 22:49Speaker 1: Uncle Sam is taxing me in the tax breath. He
- 22:53Speaker 1: don't give a damn what you do with the money.
- 22:55Speaker 1: So now I didn't give you a thousand of mile dollars,
- 22:59Speaker 1: plus I got sent in the government four hundred of
- 23:03Speaker 1: that thousand, I sent you the whole partner. Oh so
- 23:07Speaker 1: now I really ain't that simple. So when you don't
- 23:09Speaker 1: pay me back, you really didn't jam me. Now, well,
- 23:11Speaker 1: in your case, people don't think you need it, you know. Oh,
- 23:14Speaker 1: he'll be all right, count that money money, he's got money.
- 23:18Speaker 1: He doesn't need that money. I'll get it. I'll get
- 23:20Speaker 1: it to him when I get Here's the thing, while
- 23:22Speaker 1: you are coming up, people think that you have a
- 23:25Speaker 1: reservoir of money. But that reservoir of money you had
- 23:29Speaker 1: to work for. The only reason you have a reservoir
- 23:32Speaker 1: a little bit of extra money or more than them,
- 23:34Speaker 1: is because you usually work more than them. So now
- 23:38Speaker 1: you are asking me to take not only my money,
- 23:41Speaker 1: but my time that I've given to make this money
- 23:44Speaker 1: and just let you have that right because you know
- 23:47Speaker 1: I got it. Well, that's foul. And you should not
- 23:50Speaker 1: suffer from guilt because let me explain something to you
- 23:53Speaker 1: I've learned about guilt. Guilt is the most useless human
- 23:57Speaker 1: emotion that there is because guilt serves nothing. Guilt is
- 24:03Speaker 1: the most devoid, the worst human emotion there is because
- 24:08Speaker 1: it serves no purpose. What does guilt serves when you
- 24:11Speaker 1: feel guilty? What? It don't help you, It don't benefit you.
- 24:14Speaker 1: It does nothing for you to feel guilt. But people
- 24:17Speaker 1: take advantage of the guilt for their own self entitlement
- 24:22Speaker 1: and self selfish needs. That's what they use. They use
- 24:26Speaker 1: guilt for that. So guilt serves no purpose. So stop
- 24:29Speaker 1: feeling guilty because you're blessed. Stop feeling guilty because God
- 24:33Speaker 1: has given you grace. Stop feeling guilty because you go
- 24:37Speaker 1: to work. When you talk about that guilt, because Tommy,
- 24:40Speaker 1: I think we've all kind of been in that boat.
- 24:42Speaker 1: When you're loaning money and the whole guilt thing. You
- 24:44Speaker 1: don't want to be the bad guy or whatever. It's
- 24:46Speaker 1: different when you loan friends money and then when you're
- 24:50Speaker 1: taking care of family. You understand what I'm saying. I
- 24:53Speaker 1: think there's a different level of guilt with that. When
- 24:55Speaker 1: you got to look out for mom and them, and
- 24:56Speaker 1: Grandmama and them, And it grows when you get to
- 25:00Speaker 1: a certain level. Do you say I do, because when
- 25:05Speaker 1: it gets to a certain level, here's what you can do.
- 25:08Speaker 1: You have to wait till you get to a certain level.
- 25:10Speaker 1: I got so sick of my family, Nickel and diamond, me,
- 25:14Speaker 1: the phone calls, that having to duck them, the phone call,
- 25:18Speaker 1: to trying to tell them no, to making it happen,
- 25:21Speaker 1: that constole phone calls. Now, you gotta wait till you
- 25:24Speaker 1: get to a certain level. And I've talked to a
- 25:25Speaker 1: lot of people like this. I put all of them
- 25:28Speaker 1: on salarly. Okay, here's your monthly cipher and you can
- 25:31Speaker 1: make it whatever you want to make it. Here's your
- 25:33Speaker 1: five hundred a month. Here's your two fifty for the month.
- 25:37Speaker 1: You know, I'm off on another bracket with mine. They're
- 25:41Speaker 1: getting off the thousands. But here's your money for the month.
- 25:45Speaker 1: I love you. I am successful. I know y'all older
- 25:48Speaker 1: than me, y'all being struggled. This hard to help. Guess
- 25:51Speaker 1: what it alleviates the phone calls. It alleviates that, oh
- 25:56Speaker 1: you ain't nothing, you forgot about us, But you gotta
- 25:59Speaker 1: wait until you at a certain level. But if you
- 26:01Speaker 1: want to help your family out, your mama, your sister,
- 26:04Speaker 1: your brother's constantly nickeling. Diamond man, let me get a
- 26:07Speaker 1: hundred fifty here, Let me hold two fitty. Put them
- 26:09Speaker 1: on salary to two hundred a month. He go your
- 26:12Speaker 1: two hundred. Guess what that that really does? Slow down there?
- 26:17Speaker 1: I need foe hunt. Hold up, partner, I sent you. You
- 26:20Speaker 1: You need, say two hundred from my mama been on
- 26:23Speaker 1: salary loan? Yeah, she has, because Steve, I mean, while
- 26:26Speaker 1: we're talking, there are people out there that do need help.
- 26:29Speaker 1: I mean, you know, legitimate help. There's some people they
- 26:32Speaker 1: do need help. I mean we all have been there,
- 26:35Speaker 1: and thank god there was something heard every story at all. Yeah.
- 26:39Speaker 1: But I mean, I'm just saying there are some people
- 26:41Speaker 1: you know that need need help. I mean, how do
- 26:44Speaker 1: you determine. I'm not saying you don't help nobody. I
- 26:47Speaker 1: know what I'm telling you right now. Listen to me.
- 26:50Speaker 1: Get out of the loaning money business. Okay, all right,
- 26:53Speaker 1: got it? Now? If you're not gonna give it to them,
- 26:56Speaker 1: so you ain't gonna worry about it no more. My
- 26:58Speaker 1: philosophy is I'm not gonna give it to you. Then
- 27:00Speaker 1: I ain't got it, bro, I ain't got it. I
- 27:03Speaker 1: don't have it. I don't loan, I don't loan, don't
- 27:05Speaker 1: don't come to me, So just say no and don't
- 27:07Speaker 1: feel guilt about it. I had I had a wealthy
- 27:10Speaker 1: friend who got in a real jam. It kind of
- 27:13Speaker 1: got publicized with his bills, and he came to me
- 27:17Speaker 1: for a loan. But he's and he's been wealthy. I
- 27:20Speaker 1: knew he was gonna come back. I loaned him a
- 27:23Speaker 1: healthy amount of money, substantial amount. He came right back
- 27:26Speaker 1: to me when he said he was with the check. Okay,
- 27:30Speaker 1: So that kind of situation. He had done things for
- 27:33Speaker 1: me in the past, not so much money, but it's
- 27:37Speaker 1: phone calls put me in touch with this guy. That guy,
- 27:40Speaker 1: so we had it a little bit going on. So
- 27:42Speaker 1: when he came for that substantial amount of money, you know,
- 27:45Speaker 1: I had to go now because Marge and I have
- 27:48Speaker 1: a relationship where she has some of her money from
- 27:51Speaker 1: her allowance and I had my money from my allowance.
- 27:54Speaker 1: But this money he came to me, I had to
- 27:55Speaker 1: go to my wife and go ahead, baby, can we
- 27:58Speaker 1: do this right here? That's a lot because it's kind
- 28:00Speaker 1: on the stepping outside of what I have the power
- 28:02Speaker 1: to do without confiding in you, so forth and so on.
- 28:06Speaker 1: You know, she's had family members that's needed help and
- 28:09Speaker 1: she comes to me and then yeah, but but she'll
- 28:12Speaker 1: tell them for any amount of money, y'all, you gotta
- 28:15Speaker 1: go to my hud. That takes her off the hood.
- 28:18Speaker 1: She go, no, you gotta Marjorie just tell you know,
- 28:20Speaker 1: y'all can't come to me with that, you have to
- 28:22Speaker 1: go ask my hus Now speaking, since you brought Marjorie up, well,
- 28:25Speaker 1: talk talk quickly if you can. We have about thirty
- 28:28Speaker 1: more seconds left. You always say you need four bank accounts.
- 28:31Speaker 1: Four bank accounts. We have the bank account where all
- 28:33Speaker 1: the money goes in that pays for bills and everything necessity, house,
- 28:38Speaker 1: electric car, know anything. We have another account that requires
- 28:41Speaker 1: both of our signatures. It's a savings account. We cannot
- 28:44Speaker 1: have touched that unless Marjorie and I both signed, and
- 28:47Speaker 1: then Marjorie has an account. I have an account, that
- 28:49Speaker 1: money go to her, That money go to me. I
- 28:51Speaker 1: can't tell her what to do. She can't say nothing
- 28:53Speaker 1: of that. She wanted to buy jewry. She brought Jerry
- 28:55Speaker 1: I bout Cuba. Sigar, I bout Cuba. Cigar. Can't say
- 28:57Speaker 1: nothing and we'll be that will be bad. You're listening.
- 29:08Speaker 1: Steve Jay is here with things that have a cutoff age.
- 29:11Speaker 1: Jay explained, well, well, Steve actually has it these things,
- 29:16Speaker 1: Shelly and everybody. There's a cutoff age to everything and
- 29:21Speaker 1: everything you do. Some people some people just ignore it
- 29:25Speaker 1: and just keep doing it. But down like, come on,
- 29:31Speaker 1: this should have a cutoff point. The name name your
- 29:38Speaker 1: over fed. We don't need to look out there and
- 29:42Speaker 1: see you doing the name name the whip are the
- 29:46Speaker 1: name name and you fart it? Really? Thirty five? Thirty three?
- 29:53Speaker 1: Thirty three, yeah, thirty three you asked stop doing the
- 29:56Speaker 1: whip and the name name. Here's what you can't do
- 30:02Speaker 1: if you over thirty five, you cannot go see the
- 30:05Speaker 1: me goals to four man can so you can listen
- 30:11Speaker 1: to them? You can't, but you gotta take your keys.
- 30:14Speaker 1: Somebody with you just went way too old. Too old
- 30:22Speaker 1: people sitting next to whom here's something that has a
- 30:32Speaker 1: cut off age, and we don't have to cut off age,
- 30:34Speaker 1: but just listen to this. You cannot wear crop tops
- 30:42Speaker 1: if you have a muffin top. Man, woman, that's cut
- 30:51Speaker 1: off too short, like you exec your Elliott. Well you're not.
- 30:56Speaker 1: That's a good one. I like it. I just love
- 30:59Speaker 1: the muffin. Yeah you can't do it, now you do it.
- 31:03Speaker 1: I don't mind a little muffin on a woman, but
- 31:06Speaker 1: on the man. Man, dude, yeah, dude. If you over
- 31:11Speaker 1: twenty five, you got to stop using the word lit.
- 31:18Speaker 1: You over twenty five, Yes, sirley, you got to stop
- 31:22Speaker 1: using the word lit out of the day sthetic. If
- 31:28Speaker 1: you all fifty five, you're still using the word cop asthetics.
- 31:35Speaker 1: Everything that's cop asthetic, man, man, that's cop asthetic. You
- 31:43Speaker 1: need to come on out, Come on. If you four
- 31:50Speaker 1: years old and you're in a stroller with your legs
- 31:54Speaker 1: crossed and you can pull yourself along in the stroller,
- 32:01Speaker 1: who ass needs to be walking? Something for the baby?
- 32:11Speaker 1: His one? If you're over eighty would a walker, and
- 32:16Speaker 1: it's got to come hold a fanny pack or place
- 32:19Speaker 1: a hole of newspaper tennis balls for a grip. Dam
- 32:23Speaker 1: you gotta take something off just too much. If you
- 32:33Speaker 1: over farty and people are still considering you ratchet, you're
- 32:43Speaker 1: not ratchet. You actually stupid. A man over farty with
- 32:51Speaker 1: two change his name is not too changed, probably actually
- 33:00Speaker 1: on the outside, the outside and still wearing any form
- 33:06Speaker 1: of nuggets, jewel nuggets. What about the set nuggets set
- 33:16Speaker 1: on Monica Sherley. If you're all the far five h huh,
- 33:23Speaker 1: each finger nail can't be a different company. They've been
- 33:30Speaker 1: doing it polish whatever. You all don't know. We might
- 33:37Speaker 1: not know. We know that. But let me tell you
- 33:40Speaker 1: this though, Don who's in charge of all of our
- 33:42Speaker 1: social media are digital programming and all of that. When
- 33:45Speaker 1: you mentioned nuggets, he looked over like all she could
- 33:48Speaker 1: think of was like chicken McNuggets. What you were talking about? Yeah, nugget.
- 33:56Speaker 1: Watch it's like nuggets. Yeah, nuggets are still she thought
- 34:02Speaker 1: you were talking about it mc donald. Oh, no, nugget
- 34:05Speaker 1: the nugget set. Let me see which one was my favorite?
- 34:11Speaker 1: It was between the Migo's party and Muffin Top the crop. Yeah,
- 34:18Speaker 1: I like four years old, still in the stroller. Yeah,
- 34:22Speaker 1: you got your leg crossed. You don't get the walking.
- 34:27Speaker 1: So Steve, I got a question, So I can't say.
- 34:29Speaker 1: Let what's the cut off age? Cut off? Ages? Thirty
- 34:33Speaker 1: five over thirty five? You know what? You can't say,
- 34:36Speaker 1: Jane what Trump? Oh, you can't say Trump, remember Trump,
- 34:43Speaker 1: or that's up there with Turkey. We couldn't n't say
- 34:48Speaker 1: monk with I couldn't say what monk with? Don't be
- 34:52Speaker 1: monking with me. Don't be around. Oh you can't say that.
- 34:56Speaker 1: I'm going to see the mego see the You ain't
- 35:00Speaker 1: gonna see to me? Taking junior, me, take some junior.
- 35:04Speaker 1: What am I gonna doing? Watching? What was doing? You're
- 35:09Speaker 1: sitting in there looking over your glass old lady, watching
- 35:14Speaker 1: the mein't go don't don't go down in bass, don't
- 35:20Speaker 1: do that? Y'all ever seen Monica look over glass lady
- 35:26Speaker 1: looking at the met But but but with a foam
- 35:33Speaker 1: dress on and some pumps with an ankle strap. Yeah,
- 35:40Speaker 1: but with a low kitty kitty here on. You cannot
- 35:43Speaker 1: go see to me. We got cut off age. All right,
- 35:47Speaker 1: we'll be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 35:50Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show, all right? So Jay, yes, yes, yes?
- 35:56Speaker 1: What is this famous last word? She wrote? Last words
- 36:00Speaker 1: has to do it a lot of people get hurt
- 36:03Speaker 1: by stupidity, or sometimes they don't make it because they
- 36:07Speaker 1: say something or do something stupid, and all we have
- 36:10Speaker 1: is their last words, for instance, last words like this,
- 36:15Speaker 1: that gun ain't loaded. Those were the last word, right,
- 36:19Speaker 1: that last the last words they said was that dog
- 36:24Speaker 1: don't bite. That's the last words they said, faust. The
- 36:29Speaker 1: famous last words, Like he said before he left, I'm
- 36:33Speaker 1: going this where, I'm going this way because all the
- 36:36Speaker 1: bells are hibernated at this time. Right. So that's the
- 36:40Speaker 1: last thing we heard from him. The last thing he said.
- 36:45Speaker 1: He was in the living room and he said to
- 36:47Speaker 1: the little boy, punch me in the stomach as hard
- 36:50Speaker 1: as you can. I can take it. That was the
- 36:58Speaker 1: last thing you got one goad last word, I bet
- 37:05Speaker 1: you better get out of my face. I bet you
- 37:13Speaker 1: better get out of my face. Famous last words. Famous
- 37:17Speaker 1: last word he said to the group was these ain't
- 37:20Speaker 1: poisoned mushrooms. I know poison mushrooms, and I see poison mushrooms. Okay,
- 37:24Speaker 1: that's yeah. I ain't going nowhere. Famous last word. You
- 37:44Speaker 1: got one? You got one, Steve, you got another one? Good? Oh?
- 37:50Speaker 1: Hell yeah, I can jump over there right there, I
- 37:58Speaker 1: can jump over there. My famous as words, he said.
- 38:02Speaker 1: When he went to bed, I'll go to sleep and
- 38:05Speaker 1: it'll be all gone in the morning. I'll feel much better. Wow. No,
- 38:20Speaker 1: not this time. He shocks on it like warm water. Wow. Okay,
- 38:31Speaker 1: famous last word. Don't worry about it, girl. My wife sleeps.
- 38:34Speaker 1: She can't hear damn thing. Worry. Take it out, man,
- 38:45Speaker 1: take it out. Yes, somebody drops something in the water
- 38:54Speaker 1: and then somebody say I get it. Thank you. Guys,
- 39:06Speaker 1: you're listening. All right, It is time now for comedy roulette.
- 39:13Speaker 1: Steve Jay, please please quickly set this. Every week our
- 39:18Speaker 1: comedy ability is tested in the way we prove how
- 39:22Speaker 1: good we are. Put five subjects on the wheel, spending
- 39:25Speaker 1: the wheel were stop. We got it. That's all it is.
- 39:27Speaker 1: That's all it is, comedy roulette. All right, Here are
- 39:30Speaker 1: the five subjects. Number one fish grease. Number two, she
- 39:38Speaker 1: wasn't that big in high school. I don't appreciate that one, okay.
- 39:46Speaker 1: Number three taste like chicken. Number four. Now that I
- 39:52Speaker 1: have a little money, you know who I am? Yeah?
- 39:56Speaker 1: And number five, I don't know how you could eat that.
- 40:01Speaker 1: Give me that, Give me that right ahead, right ahead,
- 40:04Speaker 1: all right, let's go spend the wheel. Cat come on free.
- 40:16Speaker 1: Oh h. Now that I have a little money, you
- 40:19Speaker 1: know who I am, Let me have that. Let me
- 40:23Speaker 1: start that see back in the day, my nickname was fish.
- 40:27Speaker 1: Didn't nobody no, fish didn't speak the fish. You was
- 40:31Speaker 1: too fine to speak to fish. But now that fishes

- 44:04Speaker 1: to Day Morning show coming up at the top of
- 44:08Speaker 1: the hour. Right about four minutes after. It's my strawberry

- 45:00Speaker 1: from the church from Belt the Baptist. Hello, bro, yeah,
- 45:04Speaker 1: I call you. I'm trying to get a little information
- 45:06Speaker 1: about the church band. What's what's your schedule? Uh? Will
- 45:10Speaker 1: you drive the church red? What's what's your schedule? I
- 45:14Speaker 1: drive it Wednesday, Fridays and Sundays. Okay, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday,
- 45:21Speaker 1: last Sunday. What what is that schedule? O? Sunday. I
- 45:26Speaker 1: usually start about eight o'clock in the morning, probably a
- 45:29Speaker 1: little earlier, depending on some of the elderly people that
- 45:31Speaker 1: I had to go pick up and bring to the church.
- 45:34Speaker 1: Make sure they get there okay, and get situated and
- 45:38Speaker 1: make sure they are on time for the service and whatnot. Okay,
- 45:41Speaker 1: and then you take them back home after service is over. Yes,
- 45:46Speaker 1: I try to get all of them back home, unless
- 45:47Speaker 1: they got family members or something that come up there
- 45:49Speaker 1: and meet them up there and want to take them
- 45:51Speaker 1: to Jena or sun afterwards. But I usually get about
- 45:54Speaker 1: it back home okay, Okay, law this class Sunday, which
- 46:00Speaker 1: is part of the reason why I'm calling you. Uh.
- 46:02Speaker 1: They saying that, um, some of the church Uh numbers
- 46:06Speaker 1: that was on the band this Sunday. Uh they are
- 46:11Speaker 1: complaining saying that, um that the church Vand was smelling
- 46:15Speaker 1: like weed when they got on there. Excuse me, they
- 46:19Speaker 1: say the church Vand was spending like weed when they
- 46:23Speaker 1: got on there. And you are the person that was
- 46:26Speaker 1: driving them. No, no no, no, no, no no not not
- 46:29Speaker 1: not the van that that I'm driving. I'm I don't No,
- 46:32Speaker 1: I don't. I ain't smoke weed and no van, do
- 46:36Speaker 1: you smoke weed? No? I don't smoke weed. I mean
- 46:40Speaker 1: not carry I mean I have before, but I don't
- 46:42Speaker 1: smoke weed now and I wouldn't smoke weed before. Picking
- 46:45Speaker 1: some people love to go to. Now where you from?
- 46:51Speaker 1: Who told you this? Well? All I knew is what what?
- 46:54Speaker 1: What's come down? The pipeline? Is? They saying that that
- 46:57Speaker 1: a couple of the nimbers came complaining. I see see nae,
- 47:01Speaker 1: this just happened last week about this pipeline. I want
- 47:04Speaker 1: to know who the pipeline is because just last week
- 47:07Speaker 1: they came and me talking about that I was using
- 47:09Speaker 1: the van to go places that I wanted to go
- 47:11Speaker 1: to all my personal time. Now I don't do that.
- 47:14Speaker 1: I don't do stuff like that. And now I hadn't
- 47:15Speaker 1: had a path, I don't had a history, but I
- 47:17Speaker 1: don't do stuff like that, and I wouldn't smoking no
- 47:20Speaker 1: church van. So are you seriously talking? What? What? What?
- 47:24Speaker 1: We're trying to We're trying to get to the bottom
- 47:26Speaker 1: of it and see what's going on with you. Elderly
- 47:30Speaker 1: person said, do you know which one? I don't? They
- 47:34Speaker 1: loved me Every Sunday, didn't people tell me they loved me? U?
- 47:37Speaker 1: They say I'm one of the most respectful young gentlemen
- 47:39Speaker 1: they've ever met in their life. And so I really
- 47:41Speaker 1: find it hard to believe that you you you getting
- 47:43Speaker 1: these type of complaints about me. Okay, what I'm saying
- 47:47Speaker 1: spe like, oh we I don't know what that means
- 47:49Speaker 1: or nothing like that. Look, brothers, I don't know you
- 47:52Speaker 1: too well, and I know you don't know me. But
- 47:54Speaker 1: I've been driving this van as as as a point
- 47:57Speaker 1: to try to change my life and where I come from.
- 48:00Speaker 1: So this was was something that I wanted to volunteer
- 48:03Speaker 1: even though I'm getting paid to give my time to
- 48:05Speaker 1: do this for the church. And now this is like
- 48:07Speaker 1: the second instance where y'all and came at me on
- 48:10Speaker 1: some stuff about like I'm trying to do something with
- 48:12Speaker 1: this van. Now, why I would I disrespect the church
- 48:14Speaker 1: van by smoking weed in it and then letting the
- 48:16Speaker 1: weeds stay in there so other people could smell it. Okay,
- 48:19Speaker 1: so let me tell you what we're gonna do. We're
- 48:22Speaker 1: gonna go out here to the church man to say,
- 48:24Speaker 1: we're gonna go out here today and open it up. Now,
- 48:27Speaker 1: if we see any seeds or anything around the driver's seat,
- 48:32Speaker 1: then then then we're gonna We're gonna definitely, uh point,
- 48:36Speaker 1: gonna open the van up. And I was raised in
- 48:38Speaker 1: that church, man, My mamma, go to that church, my grandma, see,
- 48:41Speaker 1: go to that church. See the reason we even all
- 48:43Speaker 1: left that church. And you think I'm gonna mess up?
- 48:45Speaker 1: They ain't by driving around in the band full of
- 48:48Speaker 1: elderly people smoking and we need blood. Dad, I don't
- 48:53Speaker 1: know how to the bad smell like weed, man, Now
- 48:56Speaker 1: I don't. I don't got the answer to these questions.
- 48:59Speaker 1: I'm just trying to tell you that it wasn't me.
- 49:01Speaker 1: Did you have some weed in your part? I can't
- 49:02Speaker 1: admit it with just smell it. I ain't had no
- 49:05Speaker 1: weed on me. Stop trying to say like I had
- 49:07Speaker 1: weed on me, and you ain't gonna get me nothing
- 49:09Speaker 1: that I ain't. No, and we ain't had no weed
- 49:11Speaker 1: on me. Okay, Now you ain't gonna mess up my
- 49:13Speaker 1: name or my family's name in this church and disrespect
- 49:16Speaker 1: us like this. Now, We've been helping this church for years,
- 49:19Speaker 1: and I'm trying to tell you that I ain't riding
- 49:21Speaker 1: around and no fans smoking no weed with no elderly people.
- 49:24Speaker 1: Did you ask any of the elderly people if they
- 49:26Speaker 1: had any weed on them? Uh? No, we didn't. No, No,
- 49:31Speaker 1: I didn't think about it, no elderly people having no weed.
- 49:34Speaker 1: So you just assume it's me what one of them?
- 49:37Speaker 1: Guy got coma or something? What? What? What? You know? What?
- 49:41Speaker 1: You know? Who? I think? What? Did you know? Who
- 49:42Speaker 1: I think the weed belonged to? Oh? Oh, I think
- 49:46Speaker 1: I think the weed belong and nephew Till from the
- 49:49Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Show. What man, damn you prank? Oh my god,

- 53:14Speaker 1: Subjects living with another Man's wife to Stephen Shirley. I've
- 53:18Speaker 1: been married a little over a year now, and this
- 53:21Speaker 1: is my second marriage. Since the wedding, my husband and
- 53:24Speaker 1: I have been searching for a new church home that
- 53:26Speaker 1: we mutually agreed on We visited churches and settled at
- 53:30Speaker 1: a church close to our home with a good, stern pastor.
- 53:34Speaker 1: We loved his preaching style and felt really welcome there
- 53:39Speaker 1: until one Sunday when the pastor's message was so crazy
- 53:42Speaker 1: that it sent my husband into a frenzy. The pastor
- 53:46Speaker 1: preached about marriage and stated that anyone that has been
- 53:49Speaker 1: married more than once is going straight to hell if
- 53:53Speaker 1: the person gets and if the person gets remarried, the
- 53:56Speaker 1: new spouse is going to hell too. Pastor said that
- 54:01Speaker 1: God only recognizes one marriage and there is no such
- 54:04Speaker 1: thing as divorce. Ever, my husband took the message literally,
- 54:09Speaker 1: and on the way home, he said the pastor was
- 54:11Speaker 1: speaking directly from the Bible. I showed my husband the
- 54:15Speaker 1: exact scripture in the Bible, and it didn't say anything
- 54:18Speaker 1: about anyone burning in hell. Even still, my husband believed
- 54:24Speaker 1: what the pastor said, and he told me he had
- 54:28Speaker 1: a bad feeling about me on our wedding day. So
- 54:32Speaker 1: that must have been why I was blindsided, because I
- 54:36Speaker 1: thought our marriage was great and he was happy with me.
- 54:39Speaker 1: My husband's distanced himself from me and we stopped having
- 54:42Speaker 1: any type of intimacy. I refused to go back to
- 54:45Speaker 1: the church, but my husband loves it. The final straw
- 54:49Speaker 1: was last week when he came home and said the
- 54:51Speaker 1: pastor asked him if he was still living with another
- 54:54Speaker 1: man's wife. I gave my husband an ultimatum to either
- 54:58Speaker 1: leave the church or leave our home. Because of this
- 55:01Speaker 1: wacky pastor, my marriage is in shambles. I want to
- 55:04Speaker 1: get my marriage back on track, but I don't know
- 55:07Speaker 1: how Is this worth fighting for or is my husband
- 55:10Speaker 1: losing his mind like the pastor. Please help well, I
- 55:14Speaker 1: mean this is only worth huh. Yeah, this is a
- 55:19Speaker 1: good letter. This is a really good letter. You ask
- 55:23Speaker 1: you if this is worth fighting for it, I say
- 55:25Speaker 1: it's worth fighting for if you want to save your marriage.
- 55:28Speaker 1: You said you want to to to set your marriage
- 55:31Speaker 1: back on track. The problem is you can't be the
- 55:34Speaker 1: only one fighting in a two person marriage. You just can't.
- 55:39Speaker 1: Your husband doesn't seem to want anything like that. He
- 55:43Speaker 1: has distanced himself from you. You've stopped having any type
- 55:47Speaker 1: of intimacy. Your husband loves this church with this crazy pastor,
- 55:52Speaker 1: and the pastor is all up in your marriage too. Uh.
- 55:57Speaker 1: You were right to give your husband an ultimatum in
- 55:59Speaker 1: this case, either leave the church or or leave your
- 56:02Speaker 1: home and your marriage is in shambles because your husband
- 56:06Speaker 1: is following this pastor and not following God as he
- 56:09Speaker 1: should and as the Bible states. So is this worth
- 56:13Speaker 1: fighting for? I would say no at this point because
- 56:17Speaker 1: your husband even said he had a bad feeling about
- 56:19Speaker 1: you on his wedding day. All right, this is not good,
- 56:24Speaker 1: Okay for any marriage that's trying to survive. This is
- 56:28Speaker 1: not good. Your husband needs to be with this pastor
- 56:32Speaker 1: apparently in this church, because that sounds like he wants
- 56:35Speaker 1: where he wants to be and not with you in
- 56:37Speaker 1: this marriage and fighting for this marriage. I don't think
- 56:40Speaker 1: you have anything to fight for here, Steve, Wow, this
- 56:45Speaker 1: letter right here, this is just not good. You've been
- 56:51Speaker 1: married a little over a year now. Uh, this is
- 56:55Speaker 1: your your husband's second marriage, and this is my husband's
- 57:01Speaker 1: second marriage. We've been searching for a new church home
- 57:07Speaker 1: we mutually agreed upon. I guess so y'all both met
- 57:12Speaker 1: the pastor here and thought it was cool to the sermon.
- 57:15Speaker 1: We love just preaching style felt really good to one Sunday,
- 57:18Speaker 1: the pastor's message through your husband into something The pastor
- 57:24Speaker 1: told about marriage and stated that anybody that's been married
- 57:30Speaker 1: more than once is going straight to hell. This part
- 57:35Speaker 1: of the letter affected me deeply. Yeah, part of the
- 57:43Speaker 1: letter affected me deeply. And I can't go on right
- 57:48Speaker 1: now because this man, this pass to sid and stated
- 57:55Speaker 1: that anyone that has been married more than once, it's
- 58:01Speaker 1: going straight to hell. That's messed up past him. Yeah,
- 58:06Speaker 1: that's messed up because right now, three of us on
- 58:10Speaker 1: this show is gone. Yeah, that's why I thought it
- 58:20Speaker 1: was just three of us to be married more than once, Me,
- 58:23Speaker 1: you and Jake. So we're gone. That's disheartening. I'm trying
- 58:29Speaker 1: to be a better person and a better Christian. Now
- 58:32Speaker 1: you just told me I don't care what I do.
- 58:36Speaker 1: I'm going to hell. So there is no forgiveness, there's
- 58:42Speaker 1: no mercy, there's more, there's no grace, there is no
- 58:47Speaker 1: he died for sins. It ain't none of that. All
- 58:52Speaker 1: of y'all has been married more than one, going straight
- 58:56Speaker 1: to hell? Hell? Hell? Oh well, I want to say
- 59:03Speaker 1: that's all I got for this letter, but I gotta
- 59:07Speaker 1: do some more. Straight to him, Pastor said that God
- 59:13Speaker 1: only recognizes one marriage and there's no such thing as divorced. Okay, cool,
- 59:18Speaker 1: let's say God only recognize one man. Can I pick
- 59:21Speaker 1: the one he look at? I'm with you on that one, Steve.
- 59:26Speaker 1: When you're right yeah, let's go all right, listen, we'll
- 59:30Speaker 1: have just hold it right there, Steve. We'll have part
- 59:32Speaker 1: two of your response coming up at twenty three minutes
- 59:36Speaker 1: after the hour, subject living with another man's wife coming
- 59:41Speaker 1: up right after this you're listening to, all right, Steve,
- 59:46Speaker 1: Come on, let's recap today's strawberry letter. Who I guess
- 59:49Speaker 1: we're in hell right now? Subjects living with another man's wife,
- 59:56Speaker 1: living with another man's wife. Here's this woman been married
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: this man a little over a year, and they struggle
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: trying to find themself a nice little church home. So
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: they finally found one that they agreed on and settle
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: that church close to their house. A good stern pastor,
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: we love just preaching style, and said it felt really welcome. Now,
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: well to one sunday the pastor metch up, was so crazy,
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: sent your husband into a frenzy. The pastor preacher about
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: married and stated that anybody that has been married more
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: than once is going to hell. And the person gets remarried,
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: the new spouse is going to hell too, or we'll Damn,
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: you can't get faster still. Yeah, man, I'm just sitting there,
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: you know, I let him into my life, my heart,
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: you know, feeling pretty strong myself, getting myself together spiritually,
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: and you just told me I'm going to hell anyway. Well, Pastor,
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: that's where you're wrong, because you don't know about God's mercy,
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: his acts of forgiveness, and you don't think that he
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: puts into a counter effect that we maybe we make mistakes,
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: that people have a chance to get over their mistakes. Well,
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: your husband took the message literally, and on the way home,
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: he said the past was speaking directly from the Bible.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: I showed my husband the exact scripture in the Bible.
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: It didn't say anything about anybody burning in hell. Even still,
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: my husband leave that. The pastor said. He told me
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: he had a bad feeling about me on our wedding day.
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: Ain't been married over a year, he told his wife,
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: after going to this crazy church, I had a bad
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: feeling about us on that wedding day, follow man, and
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: then saying, so that must have been why I was blindsided,
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: because I thought our marriage was great. He was happy
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: with me. My husband distances himself for me and we
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: stopped having any type of intimacy. I refused to go
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: back to the church, but my husband loves it. Final strong.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell I gotta tell you something. You don't
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: the relationship you would just do it don't seem real. Uh,
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: healthy ain't the word for it. I just think he can.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: I tell you what I think. Yes, I think your
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: husband was just looking for out, man. I think he
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: was just looking for an out. I think he was
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: unhappy and found a way. She he listened to the
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: path and that said, if you've been in one argument
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: and you've remarried, you going to hell. Now that's alarming. So,
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: but that you have it, that's it. I can't I
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: can't really, I can't really say anything because it doesn't
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: make any sense what churches did out. Yeah, I don't
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: know what it's the wrong church man. God is a
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: forgiving god, even with his commandments, He's still a forgiving God. Yes, yes,
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: and we're underground. I just don't believe that a person
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: can make a mistake, ask for forgiveness, recovering, and now
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: you can't go to heaven because you've been mad more
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: than wolf in hell a long time since two seven
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: question if you if you get mad more than once
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: and you're going to hell, does your exes go to
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: hell too? Because I told him to go to hell?
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: We got divorce. When you get that, you meet them
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: seat Yeah yeah, yeah, okay, I'm just cleaning it up.
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, any ideal with this new breaking news? I
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: crowded hellfici. Okay, it's gonna be some pastors, but it's
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: gonna be a lot of pastors down there. I know
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: a lot of pastors has gotten divorces. Yeah, that's want
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: to hear this. Damn let him pastor. Yeah yeah, And
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: the Bible clearly states don't don't follow me in. You know,
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: you gotta for God's power, you know, not man's wisdom.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: Come on. But it does explain why Jesus never got married.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: He was single Jesus. Wow. Yeah, yeah, he found it
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: when the pastor came up with it's a bad mutch.
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: He found it out. That was it. He found out.
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: But he saw the most sex and all that stuff. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: he's still but he found it out and he gonna
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: ride that out. Now they ain't having sex. He having
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: sex somewhere. He had a bad feeling about me on
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: our wedding day. All right, thank you guys. Post your

- 1:07:08Speaker 1: chapter on that. You don't have tilt paper. You got
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: napkins from Wendy's mc dunn. Chapter fourteen is a good chapter.
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: If your pillar, your pillar that you sleep on, is
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: a rolled up towel in a sheet, man, Now you talk, man,
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: that's I got. If you might be toughing it out,

- 1:08:19Speaker 1: you guys go back, We go back, so far, so far.
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: I mean, crazy story I never cable we had on TV.
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: Stephen always tell me about how he's sold insurance, and
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: I think I'm gonna let you finish it. But the
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: story he told about how he was going to sell
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: insurance to these people. Drove way out somewhere times late
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: it now way out and wat couple ahead. They was old.
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: Wait a minute, they were old, and I dried Wayne
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: was dog where they lived. I'm sleeping and I get
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: out there and the lady was real nice man, and
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: she wind't got me some tea, and I'll take a
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: couple of SIPs to the tea. And they were sitting
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: there and I, you know, the one don't had to
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: hear the age, so I had to speak a little loud.
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: And you know, when you tied, that takes more energy.
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: And I'm just talking about this policy. The guy got
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: up and went somewhere and came back, and that stopped
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: my momentum. So when he came back and he sat down,
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: I was damned near gold. And I looked at him
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: and I was sitting there, man, and I said, yeah,
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: coming wealth. The couple was just sick o. That baby
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: was fired. I don't know, man, I have no idea
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: how long I was sleeping. But the old white people

- 1:10:04Speaker 1: white people? Oh my god, I didn't know, I said,
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: it's just a hot situation. Do they have me? Oh?
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: They got a crazy sun with an app somewhere. Man.
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: I got to look around and lady said, you sure
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: are tired, mister. Oh my gosh, man, I said the man.
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: The only thing that clude me was I looked back
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: down at my paperwork and it said Commonwealth Insurance. Let
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: me know you an insurance agent? Because I thought it
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: was a hostite situation. Hasn't many white photes and got
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: me out woods, man, I ain't got no cell phone,
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: you know, were no cell phones or nothing? No? Man, wow, man,
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: job man. And they look just like the white people
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: on that on that cornflict box, remember oh Ma and Paul. Yeah,
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: they had to pitch fark head and wy flame glass
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: and look like he'll kill you. Oh my god. But
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: he's weak in people. But they looked like they were
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: real strong too, though. Man. Man, I woke up. Man,
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: I'm telling you, I swear to god, I woke up.
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: I did not know who them two people was. So
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: how'd you get out for? How was time to go?
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: Now you've time? I'm assuming they didn't buy No, no,
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: didn't dude, come tell me where you need to come back?
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: When you can stay awake, young man. Abou driving back
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: out here, y'all gonna be unsure. Damn man, anybody gonna
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: have y'all died in im. You were destined to do
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: what you do? Him. Yeah, you show, I show ain't

- 1:14:04Speaker 1: God bless you're listening all right? So Jay, yes, yes, yes,
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: what is this famous last word you wrote? The last
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: words has to do it. A lot of people get
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: hurt by stupidity or sometimes they don't make it because
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: they say something or do something stupid, and all we
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: have is their last words. For instance, last words like this,
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: that gun ain't loaded. Those were the last words, right
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: that the last The last words they said was that
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: dog don't bite. That's the last words they said. Famous
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: last the famous last words. Like he said before he left,
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: I'm going this way. I'm going this way because all
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: the bells are hibernated at this time. Right. So that's
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: the last thing we heard from him, the last thing
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: he's said. He was in the living room and he
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: said to the little boy, punched me in the stomach
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: as hard as you can. I can take it. That
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: was the last you got one go ahead, last word.
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: I bet you better get out of my face. I
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: bet you better get out of my face. Famous last words.
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: Famous last word he said to the group was these
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: ain't poisoned mushrooms. I know poison mushrooms, and I see
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: poisoned mushrooms. Okay, that's tams. Yeah, I ain't going nowhere.
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: Famous last words. You got what you got one sleeve?
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: You got another one? Oh? Hell yeah, I jump over
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: there right now, I jump over there. My famous as words,
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: he said when he went to bed. I'll go to
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: sleep and it'll be all gone in the morning. I
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: feel much better. Word one word, No, not this time.
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: He shocks on it like warm water. Wow, okay, famous
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: last word. Don't worry about it, girl. My wife sleeps,
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: she can't hear damn thing. Take it out, man, take
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: it out. Yes, somebody drops something in the water and
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: then somebody say I get it. Thank you guys. Yeah,
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: all right, hang on, we're coming up the last break
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: of the day and some closing remarks from Steve Harvey
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: that's coming up at forty nine after right after this
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: you're listening to. All right Steve, here we are last
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: break of the day and um please uh let us
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: leave out of here with some inspiring words, some closing
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: remarks from you. Thank you. You know, Um I was
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: I was talking earlier in the year to everybody about oh,
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: having the best year of your life, and it's it's
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: still possible, and um, you can still have the best
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: year of your life. You really can. You just have
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: to change the way you think. It's it's nothing more
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: and nothing less. You know when people when I say
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: that to people, go, well, Steve, it's just more to it.
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: Than that. No, it's not. No, it's not the beginning
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: of changing your life. It starts with changing your attitude.
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: It starts with changing your outlook. It starts with changing
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: your mental disposition. That's the start of it. Man. The
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: beauty of it is you don't need anybody's permission to
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: do that. You don't have to get a loan to
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: do it. You don't have to be accepted by the
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: college to do it. You don't have to get a
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: promotion to do it. You don't need your friends to
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: sign off on it. That is no one that can
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: take a vote on it. You have the power, starting
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: right now, to change your mental disposition. That is the
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: beginning of greatness for you. That's the beginning of making
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: your dreams come true. That's the beginning of starting to
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: get the life that you so desperately want. That's how
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: it works, man, it doesn't work any other way. So
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: two nineteen is a great year. I'm not talking about
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: because of the numbers. I'm just talking about because if
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: you expect it to be, then so shall it be.
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: If you expect twenty nineteen to be better than eighteen,
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: there's nothing that says it can't. Now It's not saying
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: that something wrong won't happen along the way, because I
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: promise you it can. I've already had some bad news
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: this year, but that is not stopping two nineteen from
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: being the best year of my life just because I've
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: gotten some bad news already. Because you've gotten some bad news,
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: can I share something with you. It's gonna be some
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: bad news in twenty twenty. It's gonna be some bad
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: news in twenty twenty one, and it's gonna be more
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: than one piece of bad news too. But as I
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: think of two thousand nineteen, I look at this as
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: a year of transformation. I look, if you are believer,
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: do you know that in two thousand nineteen that God
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: could actually restore what was stolen from you? Do you
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: understand that in two thousand nineteen you could be expanding
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: your circle, that in two thousand nineteen God could be
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: giving you new opportunities. Do you know that in two
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: thousand nineteen, man, God could actually be put in favor
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: on some of your options that you're looking at. Do
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: you know that in two nineteen, man, that God can
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: be subtracting your problems and multiplying your resources. Do you
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: understand that that can actually happen if you go to
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: God and ask him for it. That's what I've asked
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: for in two thousand nineteen. Let me talk to you
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: for a second about these dark moments that you have
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: from time to time, as all of us do. We
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: all have dark moments. We all go through periods of
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: darkness where you don't know how the outcome is gonna be.
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: It's okay, because let me tell you something about darkness.
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: Stars can't shine without darkness. Ain't no star. You don't
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: see the stars in the daytime. You see the stars
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: when they get dark. You got to have darkness in
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: order to be a star. Stars can't shine without darkness.
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: Y'all see all this darkness that you're complaining about. Quick
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: complaining about it. It's necessary. Quick complaining about it. When
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: people start throwing dirt on you. Stop complaining about that. Man,
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: It's happening to everybody everywhere, all around the world. It
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: ain't just happening to you. It get dark for everybody.
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: But say it to yourself when you get dark. Stars
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: can't shine without darkness. Some of the most beautiful scenery
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: I've ever seen has been at night, gazing up at
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: the stars. But it was dark outside. It was some
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: danger lurking outside. But if you get your head up,
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: if you get your eyes up towards heaven, if you
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: can keep what upward gaze in all this darkness, some
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: stars up there, man. The real beauty of it is
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: you want of them? Man. Stars ain't just made in Hollywood.
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: Stars has made all throughout life in this world. Some
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: of the biggest stars in the world. Ain't got nothing
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: to do with Hollywood. Ain't got nothing to do with
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: TV movies, none of that. You can be one of
