Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: I have a warning and an important story, and I
- 0:04Speaker 1: need you guys to do what you do well, which
- 0:06Speaker 1: is to share this information when I give it to
- 0:09Speaker 1: you everywhere you can on social media, you can share
- 0:12Speaker 1: the podcast, you can take notes. But this is a
- 0:16Speaker 1: story that's not being reported on, and it is that
- 0:21Speaker 1: China is buying up massive amounts of farmland directly connected
- 0:27Speaker 1: right in and around and near major US military bases
- 0:30Speaker 1: and installations. China, we now know, has been buying up
- 0:35Speaker 1: strategically placed farmland next to these military installations across the US,
- 0:40Speaker 1: and it's raising major fears over national security concerns.
- 0:45Speaker 2: The New York Post has.
- 0:46Speaker 1: Now identified nineteen bases across the US from Florida to
- 0:50Speaker 1: Hawaii which are in extremely close proximity to land bought
- 0:55Speaker 1: up by Chinese entities. The map is staff when you
- 1:01Speaker 1: look at where this land is. The base is identified
- 1:04Speaker 1: includes some of the most strategically important bases in our country.
- 1:09Speaker 1: Fort Liberty, known as Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, North Carolina,
- 1:15Speaker 1: now has Chinese entities buying upland around it. Another one
- 1:22Speaker 1: you may know in Colleen, Texas Fort Hood, also China
- 1:27Speaker 1: has bought up land around it. The Marine Corps base
- 1:30Speaker 1: Camp Pendleton. You know that base, well the name, Why
- 1:34Speaker 1: do you know it? Because it's important in San Diego.
- 1:37Speaker 1: We have Chinese and TISA bought land around that base
- 1:41Speaker 1: as well. We also have an air base in Tampa, Florida,
- 1:47Speaker 1: McDill Air Force Base, where now Chinese entities have bought
- 1:51Speaker 1: up land around that air base. And what we know
- 1:54Speaker 1: is they're buying up land under the disguise of farming,
- 1:59Speaker 1: which allows them to then set up reconnaissance sits, installing
- 2:04Speaker 1: tracking technology, use radar in infrared scanning to view bases,
- 2:11Speaker 1: or attempt to fly drones over them as a way
- 2:14Speaker 1: to well, they would claim survey their land, but actually
- 2:18Speaker 1: to survey military sites. Now you may say, all right, man,
- 2:23Speaker 1: you're paranoid, right, That's what the left would say.
- 2:25Speaker 2: That's what the Biden administration would say.
- 2:28Speaker 1: What's the big problem here, Well, this land could also
- 2:32Speaker 1: be exploited by spies working for the Communist nation, and
- 2:38Speaker 1: they could actually look like they are just farm hands, right,
- 2:43Speaker 1: people working on the land, when in fact they are
- 2:47Speaker 1: very good at collecting data surveillance.
- 2:50Speaker 2: The list goes on and on.
- 2:52Speaker 1: A report in the Wall Street Journal from September of
- 2:55Speaker 1: last year, also sounding the alarm. You probably did not
- 2:59Speaker 1: hear about it. In twenty twenty three, they found that
- 3:03Speaker 1: Chinese intruders were attempting to breach military facilities. These are
- 3:08Speaker 1: specifically Chinese individuals over one hundred times in recent years,
- 3:14Speaker 1: including sneaking into a missile range in New Mexico and
- 3:21Speaker 1: scuba divers spotted near a government rocket launch site also
- 3:25Speaker 1: in Florida.
- 3:27Speaker 2: That's not one.
- 3:29Speaker 1: That is two different times that the Chinese have been
- 3:33Speaker 1: caught being involved in this type of espionage, this type
- 3:37Speaker 1: of spine. Even the FBI now has labeled this quote
- 3:42Speaker 1: a grave threat, and the director, Christopher Ray saying in
- 3:47Speaker 1: April that hackers have made their way into US critical
- 3:52Speaker 1: infrastructure and are waiting for the right moment to deal
- 3:56Speaker 1: a devastating blow and physically wreck recavoc on United States
- 4:01Speaker 1: of America's infrastructure.
- 4:03Speaker 2: Now that's coming from the FBI director.
- 4:06Speaker 1: I'm going to give you those details as well, But
- 4:08Speaker 1: first let me tell you about Patriot Mobile. For ten years,
- 4:13Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile has been America's only Christian conservative wireless provider.
- 4:19Speaker 1: Why does that matter to you? Because if you're with
- 4:21Speaker 1: Big Mobile, then you're giving big donations every time you
- 4:24Speaker 1: pay your bill to liberal causes, liberal candidates, liberal organizations,
- 4:30Speaker 1: and you may actually be helping fund plan parenthood. Now,
- 4:34Speaker 1: when I found that out years ago, i made the
- 4:37Speaker 1: switch to Patriot Mobile, and look, switching cell phone providers
- 4:41Speaker 1: was not easy until now. Recently, it's now twenty twenty
- 4:45Speaker 1: four and I had to switch a line the other day.
- 4:48Speaker 2: It was easy.
- 4:49Speaker 1: I didn't have to go into a store, I didn't
- 4:51Speaker 1: have to wait on the phone for hours on end.
- 4:54Speaker 1: In fact, the entire process switching from one provider to
- 4:58Speaker 1: another took me a b out ten minutes. Yes, that
- 5:03Speaker 1: is now how easy it is with technology to switch.
- 5:05Speaker 1: You can keep your same cell phone number you have
- 5:07Speaker 1: right now, your same device you have in your hand,
- 5:10Speaker 1: or you can upgrade to a new one if you
- 5:12Speaker 1: want to. Now, the best part about Patreon Mobile is
- 5:15Speaker 1: not only do you get the same coverage you're used
- 5:17Speaker 1: to because they use the same exact towers you're using
- 5:20Speaker 1: right now, but every time you pay your bill, about
- 5:23Speaker 1: five percent of that bill actually goes back to fight
- 5:26Speaker 1: for what we believe in at no extra cost to you. Yeah,
- 5:29Speaker 1: you'll save money usually on your cell phone bill while
- 5:31Speaker 1: supporting conservative causes.
- 5:33Speaker 2: They get money every single month.
- 5:35Speaker 1: To groups that support free speech, groups that support religious freedom,
- 5:39Speaker 1: and most importantly for me, groups that support the sanctity
- 5:43Speaker 1: of life protecting unborn babies. They also are huge advocates
- 5:48Speaker 1: for the Second Amendment, and they get back to our military,
- 5:51Speaker 1: our veterans, and our wounded warriors as well as our
- 5:54Speaker 1: first responder heroes. So make a difference with every text,
- 5:58Speaker 1: with every phone call. Just go to Patriot mobile dot
- 6:01Speaker 1: com slash ben that's Patriot Mobile dot com slash Ben,
- 6:06Speaker 1: or call them nine to seven to two Patriot and
- 6:08Speaker 1: get free activation when you use the offer code Ben
- 6:11Speaker 1: join me. Make the switch today Patriotmobile dot com slash
- 6:14Speaker 1: Ben or nine to seven to two Patriot Now. He
- 6:18Speaker 1: is also saying that he does not have the resources
- 6:21Speaker 1: needed to fight the Chinese, saying that we are opening
- 6:25Speaker 1: up countless investigations into Chinese individuals and into Chinese operations
- 6:32Speaker 1: literally on a daily basis. What is the Biden administration doing,
- 6:38Speaker 1: Acting like these warnings don't even exist, acting like they're
- 6:43Speaker 1: not even there, acting like it's something that they don't
- 6:45Speaker 1: even know about. The Department of Homeland Security known as
- 6:49Speaker 1: the DHS, also.
- 6:52Speaker 2: Getting in on the action.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Warning of the threat of Chinese spy slipping over the
- 6:56Speaker 1: US southern border disguise as among the more than thirty
- 7:00Speaker 1: thousand who've already been admitted since October of last year
- 7:04Speaker 1: that are Chinese nationals. According to the Department of Homeland
- 7:08Speaker 1: Securities Homeland A Threat Assessment twenty twenty four, those spies
- 7:13Speaker 1: will likely employ economic espionage and seek to elicit acchoir
- 7:18Speaker 1: or our intellectual technologies, our technologies, and our intellectual property.
- 7:23Speaker 2: So they're already.
- 7:24Speaker 1: Telling you again this is coming from the Howned Security
- 7:27Speaker 1: that we are allowing a countless number of illegal immigrants
- 7:32Speaker 1: who are actually spies into the United States of America,
- 7:35Speaker 1: who are then wreaking havoc inside the United States of America,
- 7:40Speaker 1: and again the Biden.
- 7:41Speaker 2: Administration is doing nothing to stop this.
- 7:44Speaker 1: According to the latest analysis from the Farm Service Agency
- 7:48Speaker 1: of the USDA, right you've heard of the USDA comes
- 7:52Speaker 1: when it comes.
- 7:52Speaker 2: To meat and different things like that poultry.
- 7:55Speaker 1: They are now saying this Chinese investors now own three
- 8:00Speaker 1: hundred and forty nine thousand, four hundred and forty two
- 8:05Speaker 1: acres of US farmland as of December.
- 8:08Speaker 2: Of twenty twenty two. Those are the latest numbers that
- 8:11Speaker 2: they're willing to give us. Now, that's not all.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Navy Admiral Darryl Claudel appeared on Fox News and he
- 8:19Speaker 1: actually warned of the uptick in foreign nationals trying to
- 8:23Speaker 1: infiltrate also, as he described it, military basis.
- 8:27Speaker 2: Now, why would they be trying to do this.
- 8:30Speaker 1: They could be doing it as a soft run, right,
- 8:33Speaker 1: as a to try to you know, as a dry
- 8:35Speaker 1: run to try to figure out a way to get
- 8:39Speaker 1: into the United States of America. This again is a
- 8:42Speaker 1: major problem. Listen to the admiral of the US Fleet
- 8:46Speaker 1: Forces Command warning all of us about what China is doing.
- 8:51Speaker 3: You know, this thing of our military base is getting
- 8:53Speaker 3: penetrated by foreign nationals is happening more and more. You know,
- 8:57Speaker 3: this is something we see probably two or three times
- 8:59Speaker 3: a way week where we're stopping these folks at the
- 9:01Speaker 3: gate with a week a week at least, And this
- 9:05Speaker 3: is just Navy alone, where we're seeing folks try to
- 9:09Speaker 3: come in. And usually the cover story is and I'm
- 9:12Speaker 3: a student, you know, I'm here, I'm an enthusiast. I
- 9:14Speaker 3: want to see the ships. That type of thing. We
- 9:16Speaker 3: have to turn them around and typically we get ncis
- 9:19Speaker 3: involved with those and we get biometrics when possible. But yes,
- 9:22Speaker 3: there's been enough ticket out. Do they have passports, they
- 9:25Speaker 3: have a lot of times.
- 9:26Speaker 2: They have passports.
- 9:27Speaker 3: Do they have papers, Yes, but they're in no way,
- 9:30Speaker 3: shape or form authorized to be on our base. And
- 9:32Speaker 3: it's really hard for us to tell the underlying motive
- 9:35Speaker 3: for these type of cases.
- 9:36Speaker 2: Wow, that's that's stunning.
- 9:37Speaker 1: It is.
- 9:38Speaker 2: It's got to be a concern.
- 9:39Speaker 3: This is Russian, Chinese, this comes from all all these
- 9:43Speaker 3: different nations. We're seeing an uptick in it now.
- 9:46Speaker 1: The most concerning thing about everything that I just played
- 9:50Speaker 1: for you is the fact that we are now getting
- 9:54Speaker 1: these warnings, okay from people in and around the Biden administration.
- 10:02Speaker 1: If you look at what we now know about China
- 10:07Speaker 1: and what's happening right now with China, it is so
- 10:12Speaker 1: concerning because we are witnessing this happen in real time,
- 10:17Speaker 1: and as we're witnessing this happen in real time, the
- 10:21Speaker 1: Biden administration again.
- 10:23Speaker 2: Not doing a damn thing. They're not doing anything. They're
- 10:28Speaker 2: not doing anything.
- 10:28Speaker 1: At all to stop this. They're just kind of like, yeah,
- 10:31Speaker 1: it is what it is.
- 10:34Speaker 4: Now.
- 10:34Speaker 1: You listen to these warnings, and I want to play
- 10:36Speaker 1: for you the one I mentioned a moment ago from
- 10:38Speaker 1: Director Ray. Listen to Ray's warning and NBC News playing
- 10:44Speaker 1: this warning about the Chinese hackers that are aiming to
- 10:49Speaker 1: wreak havoc on the US at their choosing.
- 10:51Speaker 2: At the time of their choosing.
- 10:54Speaker 5: Tonight, the FBI director sounding the alarm about Chinese efforts
- 10:58Speaker 5: to attack American power grid, rids, transportation systems, and communications networks.
- 11:04Speaker 6: China's hackers are positioning on American infrastructure in preparation to
- 11:09Speaker 6: wreak havoc and cause real world harm to American citizens
- 11:14Speaker 6: and communities.
- 11:15Speaker 5: And Christopher Ray announcing a major takedown of a Chinese
- 11:18Speaker 5: hacking operation on American soil dubbed vult Typhoon.
- 11:22Speaker 6: Working with our partners, the FBI ran a court authorized
- 11:26Speaker 6: on network operation to shut down vault Typhoon and the
- 11:31Speaker 6: access it enabled. Steps China was taking, in other words,
- 11:36Speaker 6: to find and prepare to destroy or degrade the civilian
- 11:41Speaker 6: critical infrastructure that keeps US safe and prosperous.
- 11:45Speaker 5: Ray and other officials say China poses the world's greatest
- 11:48Speaker 5: cyber threat, and they warned that Americans remain vulnerable. US
- 11:52Speaker 5: Cybersecurity Chief Jen Easterly describing the devastating impact of a
- 11:57Speaker 5: potential massive Chinese cyber attack.
- 12:00Speaker 7: Communications going down so people can't use their cell phone,
- 12:03Speaker 7: people start getting sick from polluted water, Trains get derailed,
- 12:07Speaker 7: air traffic control system port control systems are malfunctioning. This
- 12:12Speaker 7: is truly and everything everywhere all it wants, scenario Easterly.
- 12:18Speaker 5: Said, China believes that sort of cyber attack would crush
- 12:21Speaker 5: any American will to defend Taiwan from a Chinese invasion.
- 12:26Speaker 5: In a statement to NBC News, a Chinese government spokesman
- 12:29Speaker 5: denied China hacks into foreign networks, calling it irresponsible criticism.
- 12:35Speaker 1: That's the warning, and it makes it on the nightly
- 12:41Speaker 1: news on NBC. And what is the Biden administration doing?
- 12:48Speaker 1: Nothing Like they're not doing anything. So if this is
- 12:54Speaker 1: what they're saying publicly, I want you to imagine what
- 13:00Speaker 1: are saying privately. If he's saying that they're the number
- 13:04Speaker 1: one threats and could shut down our way of life
- 13:09Speaker 1: the way that they're describing it, then and then you
- 13:13Speaker 1: you think about the farmland that China is buying up
- 13:18Speaker 1: in this country. It is unbelievable just how much farmland
- 13:23Speaker 1: apparently is being bought up.
- 13:26Speaker 2: We've had these war warnings about this.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Congressman Zach Nunn was talking about this recently in Congress.
- 13:34Speaker 2: I want you to hear what he said.
- 13:35Speaker 1: And by the way, when he was talking about this,
- 13:37Speaker 1: there was like five people in the room, so no
- 13:38Speaker 1: one's paying attention to the warning.
- 13:40Speaker 8: Listen, it's real and it's often overlooked in the ag community.
- 13:44Speaker 8: I appreciate the chairman putting this together and having a
- 13:46Speaker 8: discussion on the direct impact. I just got off the
- 13:48Speaker 8: China Commission where we talked about harvesting organs that China's
- 13:52Speaker 8: trying to sell around the world, harvesting our own agriculture
- 13:55Speaker 8: and the threat that that poses is direct. It's real,
- 13:58Speaker 8: and it's now. Thank you first and foremost for what
- 14:02Speaker 8: you do with the Soybean Association. You are part of
- 14:05Speaker 8: a team of tireless workers who are in the field,
- 14:08Speaker 8: producing and providing for not just America, but the entire country.
- 14:11Speaker 2: Iowa, Illinois, others.
- 14:13Speaker 8: We all are part of this team together, and so
- 14:16Speaker 8: I'm proud of what we've been able to export with
- 14:19Speaker 8: the US agriculture being Soybean's number one in the field
- 14:22Speaker 8: for our ag exports. The challenges sixty percent of that
- 14:26Speaker 8: is going to China's day. Talk to us a little
- 14:29Speaker 8: bit about what we should be doing here in Congress
- 14:31Speaker 8: to help diversify that and ensure that we're not dependent
- 14:34Speaker 8: on a sole customer that could use this.
- 14:37Speaker 2: In a trade war against us. Now, I'm just going
- 14:39Speaker 2: to pause there.
- 14:41Speaker 1: He's saying that China is grabbing all of this right like,
- 14:45Speaker 1: China is getting all of this soybean, and they could
- 14:49Speaker 1: in a trade war, they could come after us in
- 14:52Speaker 1: a major way. I'll go to and I'm gonna hit
- 14:54Speaker 1: pause on that, and i want to go to another
- 14:56Speaker 1: local story where there's another warning that that is Arkansas
- 15:01Speaker 1: is now forcing Chinese companies to sell their farm land
- 15:07Speaker 1: that they bought in this country, saying not in Arkansas
- 15:10Speaker 1: because this is a threat to our security.
- 15:12Speaker 9: Sol thanks new At six. Concerns over China buying up
- 15:15Speaker 9: Arkansas farmland and spying on agriculture technology has led the
- 15:20Speaker 9: state to order a company to divest ownership of that land.
- 15:24Speaker 9: At a news conference this morning, Governor Sarah Huckabee Senders
- 15:27Speaker 9: and Attorney General Tim Griffin announcing plans to enforce a
- 15:30Speaker 9: new law that bans foreign parties from owning agriculture land
- 15:34Speaker 9: in the state. Governor said a seed research facility in
- 15:38Speaker 9: northeast Arkansas is owned by a Chinese state owned company.
- 15:42Speaker 9: The new law allows the ag to order the company
- 15:45Speaker 9: to give up one hundred and sixty acres and also
- 15:47Speaker 9: slap the company with a two hundred and eighty thousand
- 15:50Speaker 9: dollars fine.
- 15:52Speaker 4: Seeds are technology, Chinese state owned corporations filter that technology
- 15:57Speaker 4: back to their homeland, stealing American research and telling our
- 16:01Speaker 4: enemies how to target American farms.
- 16:04Speaker 9: Governor said this is the first time any state has
- 16:07Speaker 9: used a law like this. Griffin said the company has
- 16:10Speaker 9: two years to sell and that fine came from failure
- 16:13Speaker 9: to disclose the ownership stake in a timely manner.
- 16:17Speaker 1: By the way, one other thing, and she said that
- 16:19Speaker 1: talking about the seeds here, you want to know why
- 16:22Speaker 1: they would love to know about our seed technology. It's
- 16:25Speaker 1: actually very simple because there's also things that you could
- 16:29Speaker 1: do to affect the yields that are coming out of
- 16:35Speaker 1: our farms where we all of a sudden could have
- 16:38Speaker 1: bad crops, where there are certain bugs that could come
- 16:42Speaker 1: after and they can change and alter to then eat
- 16:45Speaker 1: up our crops, or there are certain things they could
- 16:49Speaker 1: change an alter including weeds to go after the crops,
- 16:55Speaker 1: and then we would be desperate for this food source
- 16:58Speaker 1: somewhere else around the world, which would give China a
- 17:01Speaker 1: huge advantage. This is what researchers are now warning about.
- 17:05Speaker 1: And so they're like, you can't have China sitting next
- 17:08Speaker 1: door to all of these different things that we're talking
- 17:11Speaker 1: about right now, Like you cannot allow for China to
- 17:15Speaker 1: be in this scenario. You just can't do it. And
- 17:19Speaker 1: what is the president doing right now? You guessed it
- 17:23Speaker 1: not a darn thing. Now, the question you have to
- 17:27Speaker 1: ask yourself is, Okay, why why is it that the
- 17:31Speaker 1: President of the United States of America is allowing for
- 17:34Speaker 1: all of this to happen. Why is it that the
- 17:36Speaker 1: President of the United States of America is getting warnings
- 17:41Speaker 1: from the FBI, is getting warnings from the USDA, is
- 17:45Speaker 1: getting warnings from the Department of Homeland Security, is getting
- 17:49Speaker 1: warnings from the Border, is getting warnings from states and
- 17:54Speaker 1: governors who are saying, hey, this is a problem, and
- 17:58Speaker 1: he is not doing anything about it. Is Is it
- 18:00Speaker 1: possibly because the president United States of America is compromised
- 18:03Speaker 1: by China because they've had more money come in from
- 18:05Speaker 1: China the Biden crime family than any other country in
- 18:08Speaker 1: the world. Is it because of his son and his
- 18:11Speaker 1: britt and his brother who have brought in literally tens
- 18:14Speaker 1: of millions of dollars specifically from China.
- 18:17Speaker 2: It's a fair question. It is a question that we
- 18:21Speaker 2: should all be asking.
- 18:24Speaker 1: It is a question that no one should be shying
- 18:29Speaker 1: away from. But here we are with a president of
- 18:34Speaker 1: the United States of America that doesn't know how to
- 18:37Speaker 1: answer these questions. Actually he does, he just refuses to
- 18:42Speaker 1: answer them. And why does he refuse to answer them.
- 18:45Speaker 1: He refuses to answer it because he already knows it's happening,
- 18:49Speaker 1: and he's allowing it to happen. It's no different than
- 18:52Speaker 1: the number of illegal immigrants coming across the southern border,
- 18:54Speaker 1: who many of them happen to be on the terrorist
- 18:56Speaker 1: watch list, right, It's no different than the chin These
- 19:00Speaker 1: nationals that are coming across at alarming rates, at alarming rates,
- 19:07Speaker 1: and he knows it. And many of them are military
- 19:09Speaker 1: aged men, many of them are spies, many of them are.
- 19:12Speaker 2: People that are stilling our intellectual property.
- 19:15Speaker 1: He knows that they're buying up all of this farmland
- 19:18Speaker 1: in and around our military installations, so they can spy
- 19:21Speaker 1: on us, see our activities, See how we train, see
- 19:23Speaker 1: how we're flying, see how we may do attacks, see
- 19:25Speaker 1: how we practice our air drops.
- 19:27Speaker 2: So list goes on and on.
- 19:29Speaker 1: They're not buying up this farmland a farm and the
- 19:32Speaker 1: president knows it. Donald Trump, by the way, this week
- 19:36Speaker 1: has got a very big week ahead. I don't know
- 19:40Speaker 1: if he has chosen who is vice presidential candidate is yet.
- 19:44Speaker 1: What I do know is that he has said very
- 19:47Speaker 1: clearly that that person will be at the debate on Thursday. Now,
- 19:53Speaker 1: before you get excited thinking one person's going to walk
- 19:56Speaker 1: in and be the person, you could also have this.
- 19:59Speaker 1: You could have all of the people on the short
- 20:01Speaker 1: list on the front row with the with the president's
- 20:04Speaker 1: family right, that could be and he could say it's
- 20:06Speaker 1: going to be one of them down there, and that
- 20:09Speaker 1: wouldn't surprise me at all.
- 20:11Speaker 2: But the short.
- 20:12Speaker 1: List, and I'm not talking about who you know we
- 20:15Speaker 1: would like because that doesn't really matter. What matters is
- 20:19Speaker 1: the short list and did you make the short list?
- 20:22Speaker 1: And if you made the short list, what does it
- 20:23Speaker 1: look like?
- 20:24Speaker 2: What is that? What you know who's on it?
- 20:26Speaker 1: Let me give you that list so you know what
- 20:28Speaker 1: we've been told from the Trump campaign the shortlist is.
- 20:31Speaker 1: It is North Dakota Governor Doug Bergham, It's Ben Carson,
- 20:36Speaker 1: former US Secretary of Housing urban Development under Trump.
- 20:40Speaker 2: They know each other.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Obviously very well represented Byron Donald's Republican from Florida, Senator
- 20:45Speaker 1: Marco Rubio, Republican Florida, Senator Tim Scott, Republican, South Carolina
- 20:50Speaker 1: Representative at least Tephonic Republican New York, and Senator jd Vance,
- 20:54Speaker 1: Republican from Ohio. Now, there's a lot of other names
- 20:56Speaker 1: out there that people love. I understand that, Like there's
- 20:59Speaker 1: a lot of people that love of certain you know,
- 21:01Speaker 1: different names, certain people they're not on the list, So
- 21:04Speaker 1: I'm not gonna waste my time talking about them.
- 21:05Speaker 2: Okay, I want to make that clear. This is Trump's list.
- 21:11Speaker 1: There have been a lot of you that have asked
- 21:13Speaker 1: me the same question, who do I think, who do
- 21:16Speaker 1: I think should get it?
- 21:17Speaker 2: And why.
- 21:19Speaker 1: There is a couple things that I will bring up
- 21:22Speaker 1: that I would look at if I was Trump. There
- 21:24Speaker 1: have been massive gains recently, specifically in the Democratic are
- 21:30Speaker 1: staying in the polls, where many African Americans that used
- 21:37Speaker 1: to go for the Democratic Party. Many of them actually
- 21:41Speaker 1: voted for Joe Biden are now breaking and going to
- 21:45Speaker 1: Donald Trump. We have about twenty percent plus now of
- 21:50Speaker 1: the African American community that are voters, right registered voters
- 21:56Speaker 1: who are now saying they're leaning towards Donald Trump. That
- 21:59Speaker 1: is a massive number, a number that many could have
- 22:02Speaker 1: never imagined in the Republican Party. Donald Trump would be
- 22:07Speaker 1: dumb not to look at that number and say, Okay,
- 22:11Speaker 1: is there a candidate here that can help me solidify
- 22:14Speaker 1: that twenty percent? Because if I get that twenty percent,
- 22:17Speaker 1: the chance of me becoming president winning reelection are actually
- 22:20Speaker 1: extremely high.
- 22:22Speaker 2: You'd have to look at that.
- 22:24Speaker 1: So who on that list could really appeal to the
- 22:27Speaker 1: African American community? Ben Carson could appeal Byron Donald's could
- 22:32Speaker 1: appear appeal to them, and Centerton Scott they're all African Americans.
- 22:38Speaker 2: Now.
- 22:38Speaker 1: Do I like the fact that you, you know, you
- 22:41Speaker 1: play the game the way the games play with voters
- 22:43Speaker 1: where you look and go, okay, can an African American
- 22:46Speaker 1: you know, connect better than these others? Like, that's just
- 22:50Speaker 1: the reality, whether you like it or not, that's the reality.
- 22:54Speaker 1: I don't make the rules. I don't make up what
- 22:57Speaker 1: voters care about. But there are many Americans that are
- 23:00Speaker 1: African American that definitely like to vote for someone that
- 23:04Speaker 1: looks like them.
- 23:04Speaker 2: We learned that with Barack Obama.
- 23:08Speaker 1: I think you would be crazy, based on the polling
- 23:12Speaker 1: data to not look at those three individuals.
- 23:16Speaker 2: Now, what am I looking for?
- 23:18Speaker 1: If I am the president of the United States of America?
- 23:23Speaker 1: What am I What am I looking for in a
- 23:26Speaker 1: vice president of Cannon?
- 23:28Speaker 2: Number one thing I'm.
- 23:28Speaker 1: Looking for is somebody that could continue the carrying the
- 23:34Speaker 1: baton down the road for me. That's my I want
- 23:38Speaker 1: to be very very queer. That's my number one thing. Okay,
- 23:41Speaker 1: like like number one, That's what matters to me.
- 23:45Speaker 2: I want to know that whoever I.
- 23:51Speaker 1: Choose is going to be somebody that many Americans might
- 23:56Speaker 1: want to vote for four years from now. I'm not
- 23:58Speaker 1: running for six years. I mean for for eight years
- 24:01Speaker 1: as president. I'm running for four years, So you just
- 24:04Speaker 1: have to be intellectually honest if you're the President of
- 24:06Speaker 1: United States of America about that as well.
- 24:09Speaker 2: I'm running for a four year term.
- 24:12Speaker 1: That means whoever I pick needs to be able to
- 24:14Speaker 1: carry the baton and run with it, not walk with it.
- 24:18Speaker 1: Needs to be able to run with it, and that
- 24:21Speaker 1: is an important aspect of this conversation the president should
- 24:24Speaker 1: be having with his staff of advisors. I also think
- 24:28Speaker 1: the president has to look at his age and say,
- 24:30Speaker 1: is there somebody that could take over tomorrow and continue
- 24:34Speaker 1: pushing with the agenda that I have pushed so hard for.
- 24:37Speaker 2: If something happens to me just.
- 24:39Speaker 1: Based on age, you would be insane not to look
- 24:44Speaker 1: at the person you're picking on the job.
- 24:46Speaker 2: Training is not going to be what you want here.
- 24:49Speaker 1: I want to also know that I have a candidate
- 24:52Speaker 1: that is I'm dealing with all these legal issues and
- 24:55Speaker 1: the attacks, and the Democratic Party can go out there
- 24:58Speaker 1: and continue to campaign for for me if I'm stuck
- 25:01Speaker 1: in court for longer than I thought I was going
- 25:03Speaker 1: to be stuck in court, and have somebody that can
- 25:07Speaker 1: defend me and defend what and not just defend, but
- 25:12Speaker 1: articulate what we believe in. I want somebody that people
- 25:16Speaker 1: will get excited to see. I want somebody that is
- 25:22Speaker 1: going to fire up individuals all over the country and
- 25:26Speaker 1: they go, hey, even though Trump's not going to be there,
- 25:29Speaker 1: I want.
- 25:29Speaker 2: To go see that guy. Are that gal?
- 25:33Speaker 1: Now I look at that list and there's certain people
- 25:36Speaker 1: that immediately come off that list. For me, Ben Carson's
- 25:40Speaker 1: one of those. I know Ben pretty well. I've shared
- 25:43Speaker 1: the stage with him at Sea Pac. I like him.
- 25:48Speaker 1: I think he's a very smart guy. I do not
- 25:50Speaker 1: believe he fills the room and brings the energy that
- 25:53Speaker 1: the president would need. I also don't believe that Ben
- 25:56Speaker 1: Carson four years from now would be the front run
- 25:58Speaker 1: of the Republican Party. So for that reason, he would
- 26:00Speaker 1: be at the bottom of my list. I look at
- 26:03Speaker 1: North Dakota Governor Doug Burnham. He brings a lot of
- 26:06Speaker 1: money the table, brings a lot of donors to the table,
- 26:08Speaker 1: knows a lot of rich people. But I don't think
- 26:10Speaker 1: that's enough to say I wanted to be my vice president.
- 26:13Speaker 2: I also don't believe that Bergham is a.
- 26:15Speaker 1: Guy that the American people four years from now in
- 26:19Speaker 1: the Republican Party that voted for Trump are going to
- 26:21Speaker 1: be just clamoring all over to vote for So for
- 26:26Speaker 1: that reason, he would be at the bottom of the list.
- 26:28Speaker 1: I look at a guy like Jady Vance, Republican Ohio.
- 26:30Speaker 1: Ihio is obviously a very important state, But does jed
- 26:34Speaker 1: Vance get you or secure you Ohio. You could make
- 26:37Speaker 1: the argument that actually he doesn't. And the reason why
- 26:39Speaker 1: I say that is because I think without Donald Trump
- 26:41Speaker 1: he wouldn't have won and become the Senator from Ohio.
- 26:47Speaker 1: I think Donald Trump won him that seat. I think
- 26:50Speaker 1: that's a pretty clear point and a clear message that
- 26:54Speaker 1: you've got to look at it in an honest manner.
- 26:58Speaker 1: Does a white guy from Ohio help you with African
- 27:01Speaker 1: American voters? You could make the argument that, in fact, no,
- 27:04Speaker 1: it does not.
- 27:05Speaker 2: Help you. So is he bringing enough to the table? Right?
- 27:09Speaker 2: I don't see that bringing enough to the table.
- 27:13Speaker 1: So that's the part number one of this that I
- 27:17Speaker 1: think is really important. I look then at guys like
- 27:21Speaker 1: Tim Scott. I think Tim Scott would be a fabulous
- 27:25Speaker 1: choice for a couple of reasons. One, he certainly can
- 27:28Speaker 1: help you with the African American voters, and that I
- 27:31Speaker 1: think is really important. And Two, I think he would
- 27:35Speaker 1: do phenomenally well in a debate being kind, likable and
- 27:40Speaker 1: stern with Kamala Harris. I think you could also fight
- 27:44Speaker 1: back with Kamala Harris on issues of race, and I
- 27:47Speaker 1: think that is incredibly valuable. And finally, Tim Scott is
- 27:51Speaker 1: well liked in the Senate, and you're gonna have to
- 27:54Speaker 1: work with a Senate to get a Trump agenda done.
- 27:57Speaker 1: And Tim Scott can go over there and be a
- 27:59Speaker 1: great messenger for you. Now you put all that together,
- 28:04Speaker 1: and I say, okay, Tim Scott's high on my list.
- 28:09Speaker 1: He's not the only one, by the way, to tie
- 28:11Speaker 1: on my list. Marco Rubio, a guy that speaks fluent Spanish,
- 28:16Speaker 1: can really help you in this in the Hispanic community,
- 28:18Speaker 1: that's very important. He's a guy that can understand border
- 28:21Speaker 1: safety and security. He's a guy that can talk border issues.
- 28:25Speaker 1: He's a guy that can talk how Florida has done
- 28:28Speaker 1: things incredibly well and maybe we should.
- 28:30Speaker 2: Be looking at those things moving forward.
- 28:33Speaker 1: And and these are these are things that you can
- 28:36Speaker 1: bring to the table. I also believe that there's a
- 28:39Speaker 1: lot of Americans that would wake up to go to
- 28:41Speaker 1: a rally for a Trump Rubio ticket if Donald Trump
- 28:45Speaker 1: is in fact not there. So I look at this
- 28:49Speaker 1: list and for me, Byron Donald's, for example, he's a
- 28:53Speaker 1: maga guy, right, like, and that's important to Donald Trump specifically,
- 28:58Speaker 1: like being a maga guy is really important to him.
- 29:01Speaker 1: Byron Donald's a maga guy is Byron Donald's a guy
- 29:04Speaker 1: that can help you in the in the African American community,
- 29:06Speaker 1: no doubt about it is Byron Donald's a guy that
- 29:10Speaker 1: you could see running for president four years from now.
- 29:13Speaker 2: I don't know. I can't answer that question.
- 29:15Speaker 1: I just haven't seen enough of him on the big
- 29:18Speaker 1: stage to know if I would say that or not.
- 29:22Speaker 1: But when you're asking these questions, as I am out loud,
- 29:26Speaker 1: I hope these are the exact questions that are being
- 29:31Speaker 1: asked of the of the President of the United States
- 29:36Speaker 1: of America while he's trying to make this pick. I
- 29:38Speaker 1: hope this is the conversation that they're having. I hope
- 29:42Speaker 1: that this conversation is one that is that has made really, really,
- 29:46Speaker 1: really really clear. It's an incredibly important question list of
- 29:51Speaker 1: questions that need to be asked. I also think the
- 29:55Speaker 1: president has to know that whoever he picks needs to
- 29:57Speaker 1: be ready day one for the job.
- 30:00Speaker 2: This does not need to be on the job training.
- 30:02Speaker 1: And he needs to know that this person could excite
- 30:05Speaker 1: the base four years from now, and really that's too
- 30:08Speaker 1: long two and a half years from now when that
- 30:10Speaker 1: person would need to.
- 30:11Speaker 2: Step up and sam running for president.
- 30:14Speaker 1: That is what the president needs to be looking at
- 30:16Speaker 1: Those are the conversations he needs to be having in
- 30:19Speaker 1: and around his inner circle. Make sure, by the way,
