Communion... Why?

Most of us were told by our parents to do a certain something and when we asked them why we should, they responded with, “Because I told you so.” It can be sort of like that when it comes to communion. Most of us take the bread and the cup with little real understanding of the “why” of it, other than because “Jesus said so.” Communion is one of two ritualistic practices that Jesus gave to His Church.
