- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things, and it's tough, good it hastening to
- 0:25Speaker 1: the other for st Please, I don't join jo. You
- 0:59Speaker 1: gotta turning you, you gotta turn to turn them out.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Turn you got to turn them out to turn the
- 1:46Speaker 1: water the water go. Come come on your baby, uh huh.
- 2:02Speaker 1: I show will a good morning everybody. You're listening to
- 2:06Speaker 1: the voice, come on dig me now, one and only
- 2:09Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show, Man on Man on man. Wow.
- 2:16Speaker 1: I think about all the things God has done for
- 2:19Speaker 1: me is overwhelming at times. And I want everybody to
- 2:24Speaker 1: have that feeling and to sharing that feeling of completion
- 2:28Speaker 1: and satisfaction. And the only reason I got this, and
- 2:31Speaker 1: this the thousandth time I've said it, is because I
- 2:34Speaker 1: formed a relationship with my creator. Period. That's it. That's it,
- 2:39Speaker 1: that's it. I can't tell you as anything else else.
- 2:42Speaker 1: You know, I've always had a strong work ethic. My
- 2:45Speaker 1: father put that in me. My father's conversations with me
- 2:48Speaker 1: growing up was always constantly about work hard, don't be lazy,
- 2:53Speaker 1: be a man, do what you say you're gonna do.
- 2:55Speaker 1: YadA YadA, YadA, YadA YadA. Man, I was so tired
- 2:58Speaker 1: of my father at times. I was going, Man, what
- 3:00Speaker 1: is with this dude? Right here? Man, every time we
- 3:03Speaker 1: have a conversation, it's got to be about work. It's
- 3:06Speaker 1: got to be about, you know, man, doing your best,
- 3:09Speaker 1: trying hard, you know, working, being honest, do what you
- 3:13Speaker 1: say you're gonna do. But that was his mission. I
- 3:17Speaker 1: can't tell you how much I appreciate that now. I
- 3:21Speaker 1: can't even I can't even put it into words when
- 3:23Speaker 1: I think about my old man and what he was
- 3:27Speaker 1: to me, and I just saw, Man, I'm so grateful
- 3:32Speaker 1: for that balance I had in my life. And then
- 3:34Speaker 1: my father was a fighter. He fought on the weekends.
- 3:39Speaker 1: You know. My father used to come home with his
- 3:42Speaker 1: with his clothes toe off of him. He put a
- 3:45Speaker 1: fresh shirt on and he go back. My mom used
- 3:47Speaker 1: to talk about my father fighting all the times, Nick,
- 3:50Speaker 1: why you're always fighting? You know a little bit of
- 3:53Speaker 1: that rubbed off on me too, you know that that
- 3:55Speaker 1: kind of got into me and I didn't understand that either.
- 3:59Speaker 1: But then same turn, my mother was a Sunday school
- 4:02Speaker 1: teacher for forty years, so her conversation was never about
- 4:05Speaker 1: fighting or anything. It was all about love and understanding
- 4:08Speaker 1: and doing another that you would add him do under you.
- 4:11Speaker 1: My mom was a Sunday school teacher, so I learned
- 4:14Speaker 1: about faith. I had to go to Sunday school, prayer meeting,
- 4:17Speaker 1: Bible study, young people meeting, choir rehearsal. You know, I
- 4:20Speaker 1: was a churchman so much I was actually looking, that's
- 4:24Speaker 1: got to be an alternative to this, you know, I
- 4:27Speaker 1: want you know, And I was a little kid even
- 4:29Speaker 1: I was thinking at one point, maybe all the looking
- 4:32Speaker 1: all because it's got to be something cooler than this
- 4:34Speaker 1: going on every day. It got that crazy for me.
- 4:38Speaker 1: But the balance between those two people created who I
- 4:41Speaker 1: am today. And I want you to understand that the
- 4:44Speaker 1: things that you are in your past have helped create
- 4:48Speaker 1: who you are today. If you view it the right way,
- 4:53Speaker 1: everything that has happened to you in your past has
- 4:57Speaker 1: happened to you for a reason, and as you usually
- 5:00Speaker 1: for the good if you view it that way. But
- 5:05Speaker 1: if you, on the other hand, or a type of
- 5:08Speaker 1: person who can't move forward because you are allowing your
- 5:11Speaker 1: past to stop you from having your future, then you,
- 5:16Speaker 1: my friend, are doing a disservice to your life. You
- 5:21Speaker 1: are not honoring God's blessings. You are not taking advantage
- 5:27Speaker 1: of the gain, knowledge, wisdom, and experience of your life. Example,
- 5:33Speaker 1: if you are a woman and you are always talking
- 5:39Speaker 1: about a former relationship, what he did to me. If
- 5:44Speaker 1: he had not did this to me, I wouldn't be
- 5:47Speaker 1: in this place today. I thought I had a man. Nah,
- 5:52Speaker 1: I ain't got no man. Ah la la la la la.
- 5:57Speaker 1: If you know, he came along and I was doing
- 6:01Speaker 1: just swell, he just came in and he just lied
- 6:04Speaker 1: to me. He lied to me. Now that he did
- 6:07Speaker 1: this to me, Then he cheated, then he left. All
- 6:11Speaker 1: of that that you're saying can very well be true.
- 6:16Speaker 1: Have you thought that maybe maybe somewhere in God's infinite wisdom,
- 6:25Speaker 1: that he knew that you had made a mistake in
- 6:29Speaker 1: picking him anyway? Maybe he knew you had made a
- 6:34Speaker 1: mistake in saying yes or I do to him anyway,
- 6:38Speaker 1: or come on move in? And so what he did
- 6:43Speaker 1: was based on your decision now to say yes, I
- 6:48Speaker 1: do or come on, let's move in together. That was
- 6:51Speaker 1: your decision. You ain't go to him about this one.
- 6:54Speaker 1: You made this decision based on that decision and all
- 6:59Speaker 1: the negative things that started happening. He allowed you to
- 7:03Speaker 1: get away from it. Now how you got away from it?
- 7:06Speaker 1: It's always not the choice of ours. See, you stuck
- 7:11Speaker 1: on the fact that he left, that he walked out.
- 7:14Speaker 1: But let me share this with you. When he was there,
- 7:17Speaker 1: How good was he to you? How good was he
- 7:20Speaker 1: for you? See? You got to you got to stare.
- 7:24Speaker 1: You got to look at the blessing. The blessing is.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Now you are on your own. Now you walk in
- 7:31Speaker 1: your house. Ain't nobody in there with a disruptive spirit.
- 7:34Speaker 1: Now you go home. You could take your clothes off
- 7:37Speaker 1: and walk around like you want to. Now you go home,
- 7:40Speaker 1: you can sit down and look at TV or catch
- 7:43Speaker 1: your breath if you want to. Your kids don't have
- 7:48Speaker 1: to see y'all arguing all the time. Have you looked
- 7:51Speaker 1: at the blessing in it? But now if you're gonna
- 7:55Speaker 1: keep looking at the negative, then guess what. Now you
- 7:58Speaker 1: can't move forward because you keep allowing your pass to
- 8:04Speaker 1: keep you from moving forward. If God has bought you
- 8:08Speaker 1: through it, why don't you move on from it? Look,
- 8:12Speaker 1: you got through it. He gone, He ain't coming back.
- 8:15Speaker 1: He got somebody else, So you're gonna sit there and
- 8:18Speaker 1: just keep tripping costs. He gone and he got somebody else.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Ain't pick yourself up. Thank God for the blessing. It
- 8:26Speaker 1: didn't feel like a blessing. Why you was going through it,
- 8:29Speaker 1: and all the pain of him leaving and the divorce
- 8:32Speaker 1: and all that messed you up? Got it when you
- 8:35Speaker 1: get through it, all of that. You ain't the first
- 8:37Speaker 1: one being left. You ain't the first woman been divorced.
- 8:41Speaker 1: You ain't the first woman been in a bad relationship.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Pick yourself up, Thank God for the blessing, and move
- 8:48Speaker 1: forward in your life, because maybe when you quit complaining,
- 8:53Speaker 1: maybe you'll find out that God has something in store
- 8:57Speaker 1: for you that he wants you to have, but he
- 8:59Speaker 1: can't give it to you if you ain't grateful. So
- 9:02Speaker 1: God gives you a blessing, but because you don't see
- 9:05Speaker 1: it as a blessing, you ain't grateful for it. Now,
- 9:08Speaker 1: guess what, You steady asking God to do something for you,
- 9:12Speaker 1: but you ain't thanking him for what he's done for you,
- 9:15Speaker 1: but you steady wanting him to do more. How does
- 9:18Speaker 1: that work? How does that work? Man? That He should
- 9:21Speaker 1: keep on giving you things when you ain't even working
- 9:24Speaker 1: with the stuff he didn't gave you, And I don't know,
- 9:28Speaker 1: and I'm just I'm just using that one example. It
- 9:30Speaker 1: could go for me and too, vice versa, and so
- 9:33Speaker 1: on and so far. I'm just using that as an example. Now,
- 9:37Speaker 1: why I laid on that one so long? You take
- 9:40Speaker 1: that out with God. That's all just three. I ain't
- 9:42Speaker 1: pointing fingers that nobody in nothing because I've been guilty
- 9:46Speaker 1: on both sides of the coin. Who am I? But
- 9:49Speaker 1: I'm just sharing with you what I had to do.
- 9:52Speaker 1: I had to learn to stop allowing my past to
- 9:55Speaker 1: interfere with my future. Ladies and gentlemen. There is a
- 10:05Speaker 1: thing that is needed at this particular moment. It is called,
- 10:12Speaker 1: in the words of the French, a tension, or in Brazil,
- 10:21Speaker 1: I blame if you were in Turkey, if you were
- 10:28Speaker 1: in Russia, I thought it sounds on where you are.
- 10:38Speaker 1: I'm considered to be a world traveler and very very
- 10:43Speaker 1: more than bilingual, more than trilingual. I've said old in
- 10:51Speaker 1: so many different languages this morning. But the word yeah,
- 10:56Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure it was you don't know, so therefore
- 11:00Speaker 1: it looks uh see it is how you don't know?
- 11:04Speaker 1: It must be okay. You know, Oh, ladies and gentlemen,
- 11:10Speaker 1: gratitude affects your attitude, which determines your altitude. Remember that. So,

- 21:42Speaker 1: for one of my friends that I've been having casual
- 21:45Speaker 1: sex with for years. He asked me to have him
- 21:48Speaker 1: manage TWI with him and his fiance because it's his
- 21:52Speaker 1: wedding gift from her. Should I give him one last
- 21:55Speaker 1: to rot or tell him to kick rocks? Well, um,
- 22:01Speaker 1: for you to write into the show to see if
- 22:05Speaker 1: you should participate in a manage tire or not, and
- 22:08Speaker 1: then asked me it only means to me that you're
- 22:12Speaker 1: giving it some serious consideration. Yeah, so what here are
- 22:21Speaker 1: you calling me folk asking me to coach sign for this,
- 22:27Speaker 1: because well, let's look at a couple of things right here.
- 22:31Speaker 1: You know, you know you ain't it, you know you're
- 22:35Speaker 1: not going to be it, and she obviously is okay
- 22:41Speaker 1: with this, and this shouldn't be a mess. So hanging there.
- 22:47Speaker 1: This ain't gonna last. Um uh, and I don't mean
- 22:51Speaker 1: them sound spiritual about it, but you best believe this
- 22:54Speaker 1: two shell pass and all this is gonna be a
- 22:57Speaker 1: bunch of mess. It's all this so I can't help
- 23:01Speaker 1: you do it like you want to. Dude, don't call
- 23:02Speaker 1: me and ask me. Should you seeing well? Women another
- 23:07Speaker 1: I'm not seeing free but the fiance gave this to
- 23:11Speaker 1: her future husband as a wedding gift. Don't get in
- 23:17Speaker 1: this mess, beautiful. You're not a guilt. You're a piece
- 23:23Speaker 1: of tradeable meat. You ain't no gift. Well, you can
- 23:30Speaker 1: thank you all if you want to. Oh, y'all crazy?
- 23:33Speaker 1: Next one? All right, Edna and Detroit. I'm an older
- 23:37Speaker 1: woman and I'm dating again after leaving a long term relationship.
- 23:41Speaker 1: There are not many things for older older couples to
- 23:43Speaker 1: do to have fun. Movies make me sleepy, Bowling is
- 23:47Speaker 1: too aggressive, and I don't like picnic skiing, swimming or
- 23:51Speaker 1: any other daredevil activities. Uh what do What do people
- 23:56Speaker 1: of my age do for fun on date? Okay, now
- 23:59Speaker 1: let's go over this. You are older person, she was
- 24:02Speaker 1: back on the Dayton scene. Didn't say how, but Edna
- 24:08Speaker 1: is a great clue that you were born before nineteen sixty,
- 24:13Speaker 1: probably sixty. I know you was born before nineteen seventy,
- 24:17Speaker 1: But edna listen to me. If you can't go to
- 24:20Speaker 1: movies because they make you sleepy, if you can't bold
- 24:23Speaker 1: because it make you aggressive, you can't ski because probably
- 24:27Speaker 1: your assay ever binski and before and at all people
- 24:31Speaker 1: don't need to try to learn how to ski because
- 24:34Speaker 1: falling is not what you do. Nah, you don't jet
- 24:40Speaker 1: ski and swimming? What else Shirley other daredevil activities? Swimming
- 24:45Speaker 1: is not a dad devil activity. Movies is not Dad devil,
- 24:51Speaker 1: and bolding is not a Dad deevil activity. What I
- 24:56Speaker 1: suggest is you and him to an assisted living facility.
- 25:03Speaker 1: And the reason I'm suggestion don't listen to me go
- 25:07Speaker 1: down to an assisted living facility. Yeah, because of watching movies.
- 25:11Speaker 1: Bowling and walking is a dad devil activity. Watch speeds,
- 25:16Speaker 1: some assist stunts. Walking, That's what it sound like. Can't
- 25:23Speaker 1: nothing else? Hell, well, dare devil activities like bungee jumping,
- 25:27Speaker 1: You know, like dad ain't with daddy? She say, number, bowling, skids,
- 25:33Speaker 1: women and watching movies or any dared devil activities. None
- 25:39Speaker 1: of them was dad devil, Dad devil is bungee jumping
- 25:44Speaker 1: sail good. Right, she doesn't like, ain't glad? That's dad devil,
- 25:50Speaker 1: dad devil. You? Oh girl, she give her a suggestion. Girl, girl,
- 25:57Speaker 1: he could live. Let me do this. Girl, he come
- 26:01Speaker 1: talking about put your fingers in this hole on this ball.
- 26:04Speaker 1: I said, what did he's gonna talk about? Some rolling
- 26:07Speaker 1: down this plank of wood. Girl, I was sitting on
- 26:09Speaker 1: the I ain't know what to do. I was so scared.
- 26:11Speaker 1: What was y'all doing? Bowling? Bowling? How did you just
- 26:16Speaker 1: describe both? Then we had to go down there. All
- 26:19Speaker 1: that noise, girl, I messed around, and the felling, this thing.
- 26:22Speaker 1: They got gutters down there? Who girl, you don't want
- 26:25Speaker 1: to be a no gutter, not a gutter ball. Oh
- 26:30Speaker 1: she's talking to her girlfriend. Girl, didn't he gonna talk
- 26:34Speaker 1: about knocked the pills down? Look how far down that MPIs? Who?
- 26:39Speaker 1: I said, girl, this man right here, he too much,
- 26:41Speaker 1: He wanted to do too much. I'm gonna have to
- 26:43Speaker 1: dake me someone else. All right, we're moving on us.
- 26:49Speaker 1: Walk up them steps all the way up to the steps,
- 26:51Speaker 1: all the way quiz seller and Huntsville, says my husband
- 26:58Speaker 1: And I live above our mean and he's always talking
- 27:01Speaker 1: about traveling and seeing the world. I can't see past
- 27:04Speaker 1: credit card debt and car notes, so it's frustrating to me.
- 27:07Speaker 1: He can't understand why I'm stressed, so I stop having
- 27:10Speaker 1: sex to get his attention. I missed the sex. So
- 27:13Speaker 1: is there a better way? What you know? Okay? So
- 27:18Speaker 1: Quay Sella, let me ask you some quite right, QQ,
- 27:23Speaker 1: you don't want to travel and you don't want to
- 27:27Speaker 1: have six she's stressed. Well guess well, well guess what
- 27:34Speaker 1: Herbert gonna do? Quay Sella and Herbert Herbert HQ he
- 27:42Speaker 1: quotas and me. Herbert is gonna find somebody that like
- 27:48Speaker 1: to travel, that don't get stressed out and want to
- 27:51Speaker 1: have sex. That's coming. But you know she's stressed because
- 27:55Speaker 1: you know they're living above their means. She says it's
- 27:58Speaker 1: about the money they can't come from. There is a compromise,
- 28:02Speaker 1: and she didn't made it. She didn't decide it. We're
- 28:04Speaker 1: not having sex. But she regrets that decision. Yea, she
- 28:08Speaker 1: regrets start having sex tonight? Does she wants as soon
- 28:15Speaker 1: as Herbert get in from work. Herbert, because you know
- 28:19Speaker 1: Herbert down that because they oh, they got quay seller.
- 28:22Speaker 1: He he hadn't heating an air he do air condition.
- 28:25Speaker 1: Oh okay, that's good money. Yeah, that's good money. And
- 28:31Speaker 1: and and Herbert deserved the life he working for. You
- 28:35Speaker 1: need to have sex with her be So he crawled
- 28:37Speaker 1: up in one of the wodens he downed and working
- 28:39Speaker 1: on below. He haling the bushes, looking the wound. Good,
- 28:42Speaker 1: look at hill tap on one of your wodens. And
- 28:45Speaker 1: somebody gonna let him in question because some other people
- 28:48Speaker 1: stressed out too, and they handled it different, all right,
- 28:51Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour. Thank you, Pilo.
- 28:54Speaker 1: We got entertainment news for you right after this. You're
- 28:57Speaker 1: listening Stry Morning show. Okay. So Boosey was overjoyed to
- 29:04Speaker 1: find out that his eighteen year old son is not
- 29:07Speaker 1: the father and he is not the grandfather. Boosey posted
- 29:11Speaker 1: an Instagram Live Instagram Live video explaining that a female
- 29:16Speaker 1: brought a baby to his son's graduation and she claimed
- 29:19Speaker 1: that his son was a child's father. Boosey's son got
- 29:22Speaker 1: a DNA test, which proved that he is not the
- 29:24Speaker 1: baby's father. Boosey's so excited about not being a grandfather
- 29:28Speaker 1: that he invited his fans out to the club and
- 29:31Speaker 1: promised them free drinks. Take a listen, just found out
- 29:35Speaker 1: that ain't my son, baby, I'm not a grandpa. Oh lord,
- 29:40Speaker 1: and he kid named somebody baby brought it down there
- 29:42Speaker 1: like it's my grandchild. Oh you're going down, baby. Oh lord,
- 29:48Speaker 1: Oh right, I need everybody to come to the club tonight.
- 29:51Speaker 1: I'm getting everybody free drinks. I ain't a g oh
- 29:55Speaker 1: yea yea four. Oh lord, Oh lord, ain't made a
- 30:01Speaker 1: movie about my son. Oh oh, they're going down. Oh lord,
- 30:06Speaker 1: Oh what the why would you do that? A life
- 30:17Speaker 1: over there, boy, But now come to the club. Yeah, yeah,
- 30:24Speaker 1: drink Steve. I find I find Bootsy to be thoroughly enjoyed.
- 30:31Speaker 1: I think Bootsy is high level of the table. Bootsy
- 30:36Speaker 1: is reality a g way better than TV man. Another phrase,
- 30:45Speaker 1: you have no Maury, you talk about grandfather? All right,
- 30:54Speaker 1: here we go by moving on to a Steve Cleveland.
- 30:59Speaker 1: Brown's quarterback Deshaun Watson back in the news. He's now
- 31:03Speaker 1: been hit with his twenty fourth count them twenty fourth
- 31:06Speaker 1: civil lawsuit alleging he exhibited inappropriate and non consensual sexual
- 31:11Speaker 1: behavior in a massage session with the massage therapist. Now
- 31:15Speaker 1: this is according to ESPN. The plane off alleges that
- 31:19Speaker 1: during a massage, Watson exposed himself and masturbated. Then he
- 31:24Speaker 1: offered no apology or explanation for his conduct. This newest
- 31:28Speaker 1: lawsuit is the second to be filed against Watson in
- 31:32Speaker 1: the last seven days. Your thoughts, well, you know, and
- 31:37Speaker 1: I'm not. I don't care that he was Cleveland or
- 31:40Speaker 1: Houston or anything. Here's some background information. I was having
- 31:45Speaker 1: a discussion about this with a group of men from
- 31:48Speaker 1: Houston who have very established businesspeople. Well, I happen to
- 31:51Speaker 1: know the owner of the Texans. None of this came
- 31:55Speaker 1: out into the Shawn Watson said he wanted to be
- 31:58Speaker 1: traded the own. His next door neighbor is a very
- 32:03Speaker 1: unscrupulous lawyer. The lawyer is the one that rounded up
- 32:09Speaker 1: this case. The lawyer went out and got all these women.
- 32:17Speaker 1: The grand jury has found no cause for any criminal charges. Okay,
- 32:26Speaker 1: none whatsoever. And he's gone through that system twice. What's
- 32:32Speaker 1: alarming is the relationship between the owner of the Texans
- 32:38Speaker 1: and the next door neighbor of his, which is an
- 32:41Speaker 1: unscrupulous lawyer. He has been banned from several things. You know,
- 32:46Speaker 1: I got some power to do from real research. So
- 32:49Speaker 1: that part of it all kind of reeks to me.
- 32:53Speaker 1: It reeks of something to me. And that's the part
- 32:57Speaker 1: that I'm deeply concerned about right here. Okay, I'm just
- 33:01Speaker 1: and all I'm talking about is this part right here, Okay,
- 33:06Speaker 1: that that section reeks to me. Now, what happens on
- 33:11Speaker 1: the rest of it is, you know, it's it's it's
- 33:13Speaker 1: the judicial system, and you have to see what it is,
- 33:16Speaker 1: you know, and that is saying he violated their personal
- 33:21Speaker 1: conduct policy too. Well, they haven't decided that yet. He's
- 33:26Speaker 1: under investigation for that, but it seems to me like
- 33:30Speaker 1: somebody should have had something factual to bring about a
- 33:35Speaker 1: criminal charge, it seems to me. But nothing of all
- 33:39Speaker 1: these people, nobody has any evidence that could warrant substantiating
- 33:46Speaker 1: one charge. And that's that's that's that's yeah, that's the
- 33:51Speaker 1: part that I don't like in this thing right here. Now,
- 33:56Speaker 1: if there are but if there are victims, that has
- 33:59Speaker 1: to be a price, has to be absolutely absolutely right there,
- 34:03Speaker 1: you know. And we got that right there, and allegedly
- 34:06Speaker 1: there's twenty four of them. Twenty Yeah, she made the
- 34:09Speaker 1: twenty fourth, all right, We're gonna move on to his country.
- 34:13Speaker 1: A person is innocent into plus pity. Absolutely, Steve, Absolutely,
- 34:18Speaker 1: that is the law. All right, We're moving on to
- 34:20Speaker 1: Nick Cannon, who says he wants to set the record
- 34:23Speaker 1: straight for people that might question how he is able
- 34:26Speaker 1: to spend time with all of his children now. Nick
- 34:31Speaker 1: spoke proudly about parenting his parenting skills in the latest
- 34:34Speaker 1: issue of Men's Health magazine. Despite being a father of
- 34:38Speaker 1: seven with one on the way, Nick Cannon says he
- 34:42Speaker 1: is more present and his kids lives than the average parent.
- 34:46Speaker 1: He says, if I'm not physically in the same city
- 34:48Speaker 1: with my kids, I'm talking to them before they go
- 34:51Speaker 1: to school on FaceTime and stuff. And Nick says he
- 34:54Speaker 1: even shows up at his daughter's weekly guitar lessons. So
- 34:58Speaker 1: he's saying he's a great father, you know, even though
- 35:01Speaker 1: he's not present all the time, physically present all the time.
- 35:04Speaker 1: Who's questioning it? Yeah, oh yeah, he's been Yeah. I
- 35:10Speaker 1: mean it's never been accused of not being a great dad.
- 35:13Speaker 1: I've never heard of. But I will tell you this,
- 35:17Speaker 1: having seven children, you ask, is busy, ehsted? I tried
- 35:26Speaker 1: not to go down to the school when evil possible.
- 35:30Speaker 1: All right, We're moving on. Coming up at twenty minutes
- 35:32Speaker 1: after the hour, a petition has been started to get
- 35:35Speaker 1: Britney Griner out of prison and back home slate safely.
- 35:39Speaker 1: We'll talk about that right after this. You're listening. NBA
- 35:45Speaker 1: bawler Carmelo Anthony spoke out in support of Brittany Griner,
- 35:49Speaker 1: the w NBA player who has been jailed in Russia
- 35:52Speaker 1: for over a hundred days. Carmelo posted a video along
- 35:56Speaker 1: with the caption that read, our friend, sister teammate Britta
- 36:00Speaker 1: Grinder has been wrongfully detained in Russia. He added, it
- 36:04Speaker 1: is time to bring her home. Let's bring attention to
- 36:07Speaker 1: this matter by sharing BG story and signing the petition
- 36:10Speaker 1: at we AREBG dot org. That's we AREBG dot org.
- 36:15Speaker 1: Take a listen. I am Carmelo Anthony. I want to
- 36:18Speaker 1: take this sound to break up our friend Britney Grinder.
- 36:20Speaker 1: One hundred five days. It's been one hundred and five
- 36:23Speaker 1: days since Britney Grinner has been wrongfully detained in Russia.
- 36:26Speaker 1: She is a w NBA player and olympian, a teammate,
- 36:29Speaker 1: a sister, a daughter, a wife. She is a human
- 36:33Speaker 1: and she needs to come home. Yes, sir, Yeah yeah.
- 36:39Speaker 1: Lebron James also shared a message on Twitter demanding President
- 36:43Speaker 1: Biden and Vice President Harris actively work on Grinder's safe return.
- 36:48Speaker 1: Lebron tweeted, as a decorated Olympian and member of an
- 36:52Speaker 1: elite global sport community, BG's detention must be resolved out
- 36:57Speaker 1: of respect for the sanctity of all sport and for
- 37:00Speaker 1: all Americans traveling internationally join us, and demanding the President
- 37:05Speaker 1: Biden vice President Harris bring Brittany home swiftly and safely
- 37:09Speaker 1: by taking action today. Yeah, think about this. She is
- 37:16Speaker 1: a major, major w NBA star. If this was Steph Curry,
- 37:26Speaker 1: Lebron James, Jimmy. But if this was I can't name
- 37:34Speaker 1: you any number of star Jason Tatum to anybody, Kevin Durant,
- 37:40Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, what do you think would be happening right now?
- 37:47Speaker 1: This uproar would be And I'll admit it myself, I
- 37:52Speaker 1: even seldom think about it because it ain't even in
- 37:54Speaker 1: the news a lot, you know what I mean? But
- 37:57Speaker 1: if this was an NBA player, a major star like
- 38:01Speaker 1: she is a major starna, do you think they can
- 38:07Speaker 1: keep Michael Jodan over there? Low? What if Kobe was
- 38:12Speaker 1: living I'm talking about these cats is real stars. No
- 38:16Speaker 1: man would have been and it's it's time to put
- 38:19Speaker 1: the light on this thing man because because what does
- 38:21Speaker 1: she do? I mean, really disrespect that? Yeah, because the
- 38:32Speaker 1: petition again, do you know what you can do and
- 38:35Speaker 1: still be free? But to man absolutely and Steve, the
- 38:42Speaker 1: petition is that we AREBG dot org uh and signatures
- 38:47Speaker 1: are needed to secure Britney Grinder's safe return to the US.
- 38:50Speaker 1: So go to we AREBG dot org. All right, coming
- 38:53Speaker 1: up at thirty four minutes after the hour, we'll have
- 38:56Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this.
- 38:59Speaker 1: You're listening a Stave Harvey Morning Show while the numbers
- 39:04Speaker 1: from the weekend shootings are in. And guess what it
- 39:07Speaker 1: is not good. It is not good. In fact, it
- 39:10Speaker 1: was the deadliest week of mass shooting gun violence this year,
- 39:14Speaker 1: with at least eighty two people wounded or killed. This
- 39:18Speaker 1: is according to USA Today. The shootings in which four
- 39:22Speaker 1: or more people were killed or injured occurred in Philadelphia, Chattanooga, Tennessee, Saginaw, Saginaw, Michigan, Omaha, Nebraska,
- 39:31Speaker 1: and other cities. The shootings occurred where people should have
- 39:34Speaker 1: felt safe, like, for instance, graduation parties, or a nightclub,
- 39:40Speaker 1: a popular entertainment district and a strip mall. We're just saying,
- 39:44Speaker 1: you know, hopefully these lawmakers will get it and they
- 39:47Speaker 1: won't let us down this time. They'll actually come up
- 39:50Speaker 1: with a viable solution. But you know, we have to
- 39:54Speaker 1: do what we can do too, and that's take action
- 39:56Speaker 1: and vote. These are terrible statistics. This is terrible. I mean,
- 40:01Speaker 1: you know, you get tired of saying it so much.
- 40:04Speaker 1: You know that doesn't stop it from happening. I mean, look,
- 40:07Speaker 1: you know you want to draw attention, right and you
- 40:10Speaker 1: want to you want to spread the news. But as
- 40:12Speaker 1: far as giving commentary, I don't even know what to say.
- 40:18Speaker 1: At times run out of words. I mean, you know,
- 40:20Speaker 1: how many times can you say this is this is unacceptable,
- 40:25Speaker 1: this is something has to be done. How many times
- 40:28Speaker 1: can you say we've got to change these laws? How
- 40:31Speaker 1: many times can you do any of that? You know,
- 40:35Speaker 1: and we're just sitting up here going like you know,
- 40:38Speaker 1: and now we make these announcements like it's the norm. Yeah,
- 40:43Speaker 1: it's like we're sitting ducks waiting for the next one
- 40:45Speaker 1: to happen. You don't know when or where, but you know,
- 40:49Speaker 1: that's how out of control the situation is. And you know,
- 40:52Speaker 1: I just I don't know what else to say. I
- 40:54Speaker 1: don't know how to keep saying condolencens go out to
- 40:57Speaker 1: the family, our hearts and prayers go out. You know,
- 41:01Speaker 1: I don't know how to keep saying that over and
- 41:04Speaker 1: over and over because we say it so much. What
- 41:07Speaker 1: does it mean? Yeah? Right? Where they ask to stop
- 41:11Speaker 1: this from happening again? And are really the only ones
- 41:14Speaker 1: that care? I mean, you know the people that are
- 41:17Speaker 1: speaking out about it? What about these lawmakers the Senate?
- 41:21Speaker 1: You got to vote them out, man, God, to get
- 41:24Speaker 1: rid of these people that don't care about you and
- 41:26Speaker 1: your kids or your families. No matter what they say,
- 41:31Speaker 1: it's about what they do, right right right, Tommy, I
- 41:36Speaker 1: hope Crews get voted all the way out man. And man,
- 41:40Speaker 1: yeah yeah, Texas in Texas. Yeah. But it's amazing, man,
- 41:48Speaker 1: how you discover the true feelings of the people who
- 41:53Speaker 1: reside in this country because these people keep winning the
- 41:57Speaker 1: elections because they keep having constituent You what's that vote
- 42:01Speaker 1: for them? Ted Cruiser is in office because people put
- 42:05Speaker 1: him there. Abbot is in office because we put him there.
- 42:08Speaker 1: Trump was president because they put him there. Listen, man,
- 42:12Speaker 1: it's three hundred and fifty some million people in America.
- 42:16Speaker 1: Over seventy million voted for Trump. Now, if you think
- 42:20Speaker 1: about the voting age, the voting age, and I don't
- 42:24Speaker 1: know the percentage of anything, but up the three hundred
- 42:28Speaker 1: and fifty some million people in this country, I'm assuming
- 42:32Speaker 1: half of them are voting age okay, eighteen and kids.
- 42:37Speaker 1: And then you know, you got the people that's real
- 42:39Speaker 1: old that don't even go to polls them or whatever.
- 42:42Speaker 1: But let's just say half of that. Let's just say
- 42:46Speaker 1: it's one hundred and eighty million voters, seventy million voter
- 42:51Speaker 1: for Trump. That's pretty scary, right, Bud. What's what here?
- 42:58Speaker 1: What exactly every other one that Trump for the second time?
- 43:09Speaker 1: Boy boy, Yeah, that's the scary part. And that so
- 43:16Speaker 1: many people think and feel that exact same way, which
- 43:20Speaker 1: is going to make it difficult to get rid of
- 43:23Speaker 1: these people. But if the people on the other side
- 43:27Speaker 1: all went to the polls, we could change it. But
- 43:32Speaker 1: because they do this electoral vote, and they do it
- 43:35Speaker 1: by state, and Texas is who Texas is. Yeah, and
- 43:41Speaker 1: y'all almost got rid of a couple of boys, but
- 43:43Speaker 1: not quite you've got to keep going more other folks

- 45:17Speaker 1: let the Book of Pranks get out, all right, just right,
- 45:21Speaker 1: you see, I's got you see i's got a latch
- 45:22Speaker 1: on it. Yeah, you got a little rubber man. Last

- 45:35Speaker 1: stirt this place. Yeah. This is Curtius. You the one

- 45:52Speaker 1: hundred miles on there. And I know you the one
- 45:54Speaker 1: did it because you're the one I tempt. I tempt you.
- 45:57Speaker 1: You parked it, and then when I came back to you,
- 45:59Speaker 1: the one brought my car back and I tipped you,
- 46:01Speaker 1: I know you to walk put them down miles on
- 46:03Speaker 1: my car? On man, hold on, wait, wait, hold on,
- 46:05Speaker 1: hold on? Who is this? My name is Jason Man, Jason, Jason.
- 46:09Speaker 1: I don't you give my number? I got some number

- 47:30Speaker 1: you know what I'm talking about. If you just bring
- 47:31Speaker 1: the car and you just coming, we could talk to

- 47:44Speaker 1: had the red best song, you had the name tag

- 53:35Speaker 1: be Buckle up and hold on tight. We got it
- 53:37Speaker 1: for you here. It is the Strawberry Letter, subject he
- 53:41Speaker 1: can't stand being alone. Dear Stephen Shirley. I was living
- 53:46Speaker 1: with my brother and his wife for a while after
- 53:49Speaker 1: they had a baby and it was time for her
- 53:51Speaker 1: to return to work. They didn't want the baby going
- 53:53Speaker 1: to a babysitter yet, so I agreed to move in
- 53:56Speaker 1: and help out. I'm retired and my daughter is in college,
- 54:00Speaker 1: so I have a lot of time on my hands.
- 54:03Speaker 1: This is not what I signed up for, though. My
- 54:06Speaker 1: sister in law is a flight attendant and she does
- 54:09Speaker 1: international flights, which means she's gone for days at a time.
- 54:13Speaker 1: The first time she left, my brother left too. He
- 54:16Speaker 1: was gone all weekend and he did not tell me
- 54:19Speaker 1: where he was. He got home and washed all of
- 54:22Speaker 1: his clothes and then went to pick up his wife
- 54:24Speaker 1: from the airport. The next time she left the house,
- 54:27Speaker 1: he invited a woman over to the house, and he
- 54:30Speaker 1: told me that he was ordering out and watching a
- 54:33Speaker 1: movie with his friend. After I saw the fourth different
- 54:37Speaker 1: woman in the house, I asked my brother if he
- 54:40Speaker 1: had a problem and how could he do this to
- 54:43Speaker 1: his wife like that. He said that he doesn't like
- 54:46Speaker 1: to be alone. And the women help him pass the time.
- 54:50Speaker 1: I told him, I told him, if he's needing to
- 54:54Speaker 1: pass the time, he could keep his five month old
- 54:57Speaker 1: son all by himself. He continued to bring other women
- 55:00Speaker 1: in the house, so I told his wife I was
- 55:03Speaker 1: leaving because something came up and I needed to be
- 55:06Speaker 1: closer to home. She asked me if it was because
- 55:09Speaker 1: my brother was being a womanizer. I lied and said
- 55:13Speaker 1: that wasn't it at all. She's been knowing and hasn't
- 55:17Speaker 1: said anything to him about it, and that makes me
- 55:20Speaker 1: even more uncomfortable staying there. I'm not sure if she's
- 55:23Speaker 1: insecure or has low self esteems, and she had the baby,
- 55:27Speaker 1: but my brother's behavior is unbelievable. I want to ask
- 55:31Speaker 1: her how much she knows, but I don't want to
- 55:33Speaker 1: open Pandora's box. What do I do? Well, I say,
- 55:37Speaker 1: you do the same thing you're doing. You know, Look,
- 55:41Speaker 1: you gotta get out of there. You're doing the right thing.
- 55:46Speaker 1: I think you're absolutely doing the right thing. Get out.
- 55:49Speaker 1: Tell her something came up and you gotta go, because
- 55:52Speaker 1: it's just way too much happening in and out of
- 55:56Speaker 1: this man's house, in this woman's house. It's too much
- 55:59Speaker 1: happening in their marriage that you don't need to be
- 56:01Speaker 1: a part of. I mean, this dad needs to watch
- 56:04Speaker 1: his own baby. If he's got this kind of free time,
- 56:07Speaker 1: why isn't he at home with his baby. Surely his
- 56:10Speaker 1: son is more important than the women he's cheating with
- 56:15Speaker 1: on the baby's mom with. I just think this is
- 56:17Speaker 1: so disrespectful. I mean, that's needless to say, but he's
- 56:21Speaker 1: bringing the women in the house. The crazy part is
- 56:25Speaker 1: his wife seemed to know that he cheats, right, even
- 56:28Speaker 1: though she called it, is he womanizing? You do not
- 56:31Speaker 1: approve of what your brother's doing. That's quite obvious. He
- 56:34Speaker 1: doesn't care how you feel, though, because he's not trying
- 56:37Speaker 1: to stop. He doesn't respect you or appreciate you for
- 56:41Speaker 1: what he's what you're doing. I mean, you know, he
- 56:45Speaker 1: just says that he doesn't like to be alone. I
- 56:47Speaker 1: just think it's sad what he's doing. It's horrible what
- 56:49Speaker 1: he's doing, Horrible for his marriage, for his wife, for
- 56:52Speaker 1: the baby, everybody involved. But you don't need to be there,
- 56:57Speaker 1: you know, because they're not trying to fix this. You
- 57:00Speaker 1: have your own life. I mean, I say, do your
- 57:02Speaker 1: own thing, you know, with your life, you say you
- 57:05Speaker 1: have a lot of time on your hands, but they
- 57:07Speaker 1: don't appreciate you. This is craziness. Poor baby, you know
- 57:11Speaker 1: just I just feel bad for the baby because you
- 57:15Speaker 1: know what, what are these parents doing, especially the dad, Steve.
- 57:19Speaker 1: I don't want to be alone? Whoa and the more?
- 57:29Speaker 1: It's crazy, sugar foot or how players? It was just
- 57:34Speaker 1: a silly game we were playing. I see you think
- 57:42Speaker 1: about old schoolers. They have a song for everything. I
- 57:46Speaker 1: don't want to be alone in the more. That's all
- 57:53Speaker 1: I could hear the whole time. You be this letter.
- 57:57Speaker 1: It's flat out crazy man, what boy? What listen? This
- 58:05Speaker 1: woman had a baby, heard her husband. They want to
- 58:09Speaker 1: didn't want the baby go to babysitter, so they paid
- 58:12Speaker 1: you to move into town and live with him. The
- 58:16Speaker 1: woman's a flight attendant and she does international flights. After
- 58:20Speaker 1: she got on her feet, she went back to work.
- 58:23Speaker 1: You there watching the baby. You had no idea how
- 58:26Speaker 1: much watching your amp don't have to do. You got
- 58:31Speaker 1: to be standing at this damn baby. I mean, you
- 58:34Speaker 1: ain't got a breathable moment now, your white. Your sister
- 58:38Speaker 1: in law goes on an international trip. Your brother who
- 58:44Speaker 1: is the father of the baby with the woman who
- 58:47Speaker 1: is the international flight attendant. He drop off at the airport.
- 58:52Speaker 1: You ain't seen him all weekend. So now he got home,
- 58:58Speaker 1: watched all his clothes. Dan went to pick his wife
- 59:01Speaker 1: from the airport. He had to wash them clothes. Ain't
- 59:04Speaker 1: no telling him boys on them clothes, especially if one
- 59:10Speaker 1: of these girls is a strip of the glitter that's
- 59:12Speaker 1: own them. Damn clothes. Good lord had glitter don't come out.
- 59:22Speaker 1: So anyway, he's trying to wash it out. The next
- 59:25Speaker 1: time she left the house, he invited a woman over
- 59:29Speaker 1: to the house, and he told you he was ordered
- 59:31Speaker 1: out and watch a movie with his friend. What a house.
- 59:39Speaker 1: And then he didn't. Now let me tell you what
- 59:41Speaker 1: before we go to break after I saw the fourth
- 59:45Speaker 1: different woman in the house. Fo this boy's visit. Man, Well,
- 59:50Speaker 1: I come back. I'll share you the rest of it.
- 59:52Speaker 1: We're pretty much gonna be soon, all right, coming up,
- 59:56Speaker 1: part two of Steve's response to today's Strawberry letter subject
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: he can't stand being alone. We'll hear his response at
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: twenty three minutes after it. Right after this. You're listening
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Come on, Steve, let's
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: recap today's strawberry letter. The subject is he can't stand
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: being alone. Well, here's a deal. Bottom line is this
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: man and woman are married. Your brother is married to
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: this woman who's a flight attendant. They had a baby.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: They didn't want the baby to go to a babysitter.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: They hired you and brought you in full time nanny.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: You there, but you didn't realize what your job entailed
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: because she's an international flight attendant, so she's gone for
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: days at a time. She took her first trip out
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: of town. Then your brother didn't tell you this, but
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: he took a trip somewhere. He was gone for the
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: whole weekend, came back in, washed his clothes, tried to
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: get all the glitter and make them heir out of him,
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: and then went to that point and picked up his wife.
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: And then the next time she left the house, he
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: invited another woman over to the house and told you
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: his sister that wrote this letter, he was ordering out
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: and watch a movie with his friend. After I saw
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: the fourth different woman in the house, The letter writer
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: then turns her brother and ask her brother if he
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: had a problem and how could he do his wife
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: like that? This is what the letter is about, right, there,
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: he said, out of his own mouth, with his own
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: lips perched. He don't like to be alone, and the
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: women help him pass the time. Boy, there's golf, checkers
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: online or business. You can go to gym, so you
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: can take up cooking. He's the big one you could do.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: If you really need to pass some time, try watching
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: a baby. About you talk about time, Put that down,
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: set that quick, crawling over that, lead that alone, down
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: off of that, shut up, be quiet, don't go over there,
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: stay out of there. What are you doing? Where is he?
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: Where is he where? Don't climb up on that. But
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: if you want to just pass some time, watching a
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: baby can fill it up. I'm talking about to the brim.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: So now he tells you they help him pass the time.
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: Then you said he could keep his five month old
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: son by himself. After you told him that your brother
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: continued to bring other women in the house. So then
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: you told his wife that you was leaving because something
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: caming up and I need to be closer to home.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: Nice move. The wife turned around and asked you, is
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: it because your brother was a womanizer? I lied and
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: said that wasn't it at all. And then you realize
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: that she'd been knowing this and ain't said anything about it,
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: and that makes you even more uncomfortable. Stand there now
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: you're saying that you don't know if she's inconsied, excuse me, insecure,
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: or got low self esteem since she had the baby.
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: But you don't you think your brother's behavior is unbelievable.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: I want to ask her how much she knows, which
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: you shouldn't because she just told you he was a womanizer.
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: The details is unimportant for the woman is a flight
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: attended and she go out on a trip. You don't
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: think she called a check on the baby. You don't
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: think she asked him what is the baby doing right now?
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: FaceTime me with the baby? He can't answer that because
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: the baby he holded catime with her. You see what
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: I'm saying. So now she know, because ain't no woman
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: not gonna know when you're going for a whole weekend?
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: Are you supposed to be at the house with the baby?
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: Women know how to check up on that stuff. She
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: probably got his phone pined. He don't know it, and
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: I can't tell you she been knowing this. Dude, it's cheating,
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: But you don't need to. Then you say you don't
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: want to ask her how much she knows because you
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: don't want to open up a Pandora's box. What do
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: I do? I think you should do exactly what you
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: planned on doing, move back closer to home and let
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: your brother figure it out, because your brother he doing
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: way too much. First of all, man, you want to
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: know something that I've never understood. I have never understood,
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: and I know, ladies you may have some problems what
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: I'm about to say, But I've never understood a man
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: who cheats and brings the woman to the home of
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: his wife. It's just another level of okay, you know,
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: like you're you're very familiar with. There's honor amongst thieves,
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: there's a code amongst the thieves. There's a cheatah code too.
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: Oh well, bringing a woman to your house where your
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: family is. Let's foul, bro, that's just like you know,
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: that's another level of disrespect. I got you stepping out,
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: I got you got a side piece, I got all that,
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: But you're gonna bring the side piece to your house?
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: Two things is wrong right here? You and huh because
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: who is the skank that know you're married and go
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: over your wife house and sitting up watching movies. I'll
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: tell you the incident I had a long time ago.
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: Then I would definitely keep the names out to protect
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: the innocent, mostly meeting here. It's a pertinent piece of information.
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: There Stir a partner who was famous before I was.
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: I stayed at his house and he had a girl
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: over his house and his wife went out of town
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: to ski, and he bought a girl to the house.
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: I'm upstairs and I'm looking over the rail and and
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: I see the whole thing there on the couch and everything.
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: She leaved early in the morning. I said, dog, your
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: wife could come back now. He said, Dog, this is
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: my house. I had this Househoire married her. Conversation I
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: had with that dude right there, I said, Broun, listen
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: to me. I've had that experience before and it's not
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: gonna work out. Wow, Sorry, we're out of time, Steve
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: Whoa just to help you out let me. It's also
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: as his divorced Yeah yeah, that child support payments. All right?
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: Coming up next it is Junior and Sports Talk. Right
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: after this. You're listening String show. All right, it is
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: time now for Junior and Sports Talk. Junior. What you got, okay,
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: Shirley Man let's give it up for Aaron Donald's little
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: NFL news right now. You know it was kind of
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: odd if he will go retire come back to the Ram. Well,
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: they settled that argument real fast, because Aaron Donald is
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: returned to the Los Angeless Rams with the big rais
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: that makes him the highest paid non QB in the NFL. Oh,
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: this boy got a forty million dollar raid over the
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: last three years of his existing contract. So now that
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: puts him at thirty million a year and he not
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: even a quarterback, just a defensive tackle out here making
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: his money. Under the new deal, he got sixty five
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: million guaranteed then for then for the twenty twenty fourth season,
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: he could retire or he can come back for thirty
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: million more guaranteed. Nah, Is this what you mean meaning
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: up when he says they paying me to stay? Is
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: that what they're doing? That's exactly while we're gonna take
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: all this consideration for retirement out your mind. Look they
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: waved it and look at the little money out here.
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: Mister dun they're doing it like this right here. Hester
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: he knows you're gonna sign that paper. Yeah, what are
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: you gonna do? Colone on what radio booth or TV booth.
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: You think you fini the city that damn money. Congratulations,
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: Aaron dollar Man, no more tabbing, hitting hit the bank
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: nine million. I'm tackling the everybody and nobody scoring the
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: relf airbody. Harvey's a nightmare. Here's the Harvey's in on
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: another place. Wait a minute, Harvey's end. The opposing teams huddle.
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: Oh my god, oh man. Congratulations little NBA news man.
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: Lebron James just made history as being the first active
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: player to become a bellionaire, and now one of his
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: basketball cards cards is going for six point six million
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: dollars at an option seven million. Lebrons, I have a
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: new idea, make your cards. I'm gonna I'm gonna have
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: Steve judge the card because that's a moment. Game three tonight, Uncle,
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: you got man, serious tide at one one. Go to
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: State Boston, Timmist game Boston. It's gonna be ugly, man,
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: because I'm gonna tell you something. Boys is not scared. No,
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: nobody are not scared. All right, Junior, Okay, thank you.
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: Coming up to the top of the hour. It's justin.
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: Chris Brown is more talented than Michael Jackson. We'll talk
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: about it right after this. You're listening to show, all right,
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: so Junior's black music, mom. But we've got to brace
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: ourselves for this one. This one is really serious now.
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: Former NFL player and current ESPN analyst Ryan Clark was
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: ripped to shreds on Twitter this week after he tweeted
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: that Chris Brown is more talented than Michael Jackson and
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: he stands by it. He tweeted, Chris Brown is more
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: talented than Michael Jackson. There I said it. Have a
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: great week. Responses that Clark received went from being hilarious
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: to mean spirited, and several commenters asked Clark if he
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: was drunk or high. His response was, I do not care.
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: You put CB and Michael j the town on Olympics.
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: Chris Brown wins. What no I know, Ryan Clark, And
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: well you have lost Joe Rabbit clearly. Clearly you just
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: to look. He was good football player, he was a
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: good guy. I really do like Ryan Clark up into
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: the today. I wish you Chris. Chris don't even believe this,
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: And no shade to Chris. Chris is talented. Dance dance, dance,
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: Oh my god, does he even understand the level of magnitude,
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: the reach of a Michael John in talented and how
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: you said he said there? I said it. He was
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: Chris Brown. Chris Brown is far more athletic than Michael Wall. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: Michael John back flips down the beach and do all
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: that oh dog did dude ball. I'm telling you man
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: him really, man, he's a cool guy. You know, the
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: guy is super talented. Chris understand, he can make some heads. Understand.
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: I don't know how that boy right there hit him. Yes,
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: he Now with all of that. What beat it you're
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: talking about him, I'm talking about Thriller. That's that's the
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: one album and number one is off that album, Thriller.
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: Thrilla kills the game for anybody talking about But I
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: have news for you, beat it. Beat It kills the
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: game for it because, hey man, I'm just a true
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: story about Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson sat down with Quincy
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: Jones and was depressed after Beat It came out because
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: it had only sold twenty some million copies. Quincy Jones
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: produced Thriller. I'm going back, Quincy Jones said, Michael, what,
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: It's just huge? But it wasn't. It was off the
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: heels of three. Right, it was hard to follow for
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: anybody to follow thrill. He just statement. He just about
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: Michael strahand or something. He's not talking about Michael Jackson. Yeah,
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: but but this is what Ryan Clark said. I do
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: not care. I'm like, where, well, you know what run
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: it is. Obviously you don't care. I think he made
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: a statement to get some attention, and now you have it,
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: and you you did wrong about this on so many levels.
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: You don't understand. You're a football player who's a great announcer,
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: who I happened to like a lot man right until now,
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: grand brother Tommy Ryan, Hey, yeah, why yeah, I almost
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: have forgot that sweet knew and he wears some fly
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: cap of gear. When I know who we're talking about,
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: Ryan Sement. Let's go to break, Let's let's let's talk
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: about it. But what's the guy to due to being
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: being a corn hole? Let's talk about Smith? All right?
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: All right, coming up in twenty minutes after the hour,
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to this day morning show. Dave
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: Chappelle made a big donation to the families of the
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: victims that were killed in the Buffalo, New York mass shooting.
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: After his show Sunday at Shades Performing Arts Center in Buffalo,
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: Chappelle reportedly donated a portion of his ticket sales from
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: the three thousand seat venue, which was sold out for
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: his show. That was good, Yeah, outstanding, giving bang very much.
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: So I'm sure that helped. I'm sure it helped. Grocery store, man,
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: ain't that. Yeah, we didn't have time to mourn really
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: because right after that there was another one, then another one,
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: you know, right up to the Buffalo thing, the kids
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: and the Texas. Yeah, and then it caused people to
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: stop talking about Buffalo because it was a new one
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: and it's ongoing. You can't forget Buffalo, man, and people
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: up there that was horrific, But you can't forget these
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: kids out in Texas. But you can't get this new one.
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: I mean, this is just just don't make no man.
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: I'm just don't. I don't have any comments right now
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: because I really just don't know. I'm tired of saying, yeah,
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: we're praying for y'all and all this here, and then
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: we ain't gonna do nothing. Well, Yesterday was election Day,
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: hopefully in certain states of California, Mississippi, Iowa, Jersey. Hopefully
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: folks get out and vote primaries. Get ready. Every month
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: we are closer to the midterm elections. This is a number,
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: let's get going in fifty one Republican Senators who refuse
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: to act on any on laws. Y got this tied up,
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: all right, We'll be back with more of the Steve
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show coming up at thirty three minutes after.
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to show, all right, it
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: is time now for a round of would you rather? Guys?
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: Would you rather have a missing tooth on the side
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: or a full chest of gray hair? Give me be
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: take that chest full of gray hair. I'm making sexy.
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: I wear black shirts with it. Who salt pepple? Called
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: salt pepple? I got to head it tooth though, you
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: know I'm talking about the wall where you can head
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: a cigarette dangling out the side of your mouth. That
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: is not sexy. We all got it right now, all right?
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: Would you rather take a guaranteed five hundred thousand dollars
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: a guaranteed five hundred thousand dollars or would you rather
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: a chance at getting one million dollars? Would they say
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: one in the hand, beat two of the bush. That's right,
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: take the half of me. Sure thing I can. I
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: can flip that. I take the hash. I can't make
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: it down. Make a nickel. Still, Yeah, I'm gonna definitely
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: take that hand. All right? All right? Would you rather
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: have stinky breath or stinky feet? Bee? I put them
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: in them shoes I got, I got shoes. I get
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: through fishing. I can't even take my damn boots like that. Yeah,
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: I'm going with Bee. Yeah, all right, we got those
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: in the gym, got through working out, and take them
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: shoes off. Whoa. But at least you have to unleash them.
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: The problem with bad breath is it? It is you? Yeah,
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: you don't know. You ain't never heard nobody go like
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: people go, man, whose feet is that? You know? The
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: ain't nobody went? Who breath? Is that? They know? You
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: open your mouth and you still talking and we were affected?
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: And what about the mask? The mask? Well you know
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: that bad breath rough man, because if you put that
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: mask on, you actually knock your own ass out. And
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: some people just not knowing it was them. I can't wait.
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: This is another This ain't gonna finish the day out
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: right here, all right? Last one? Would you rather have
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: a constant sinus headache? Constant sinus headache or constant itching
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: down there? You? No, No, I'm just I'm just gonna
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: be stopped up. No, all the way stopped No sinus headache. No, well,
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: I'm just gonna have it. I'm gonna just be digging,
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: damn dog. I'm talking about looking, making eye contact. That's
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: coming up, and how you do last break of the
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: day and closing from Steve Harvey right after this. You're
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: listening show, all right, Steve, here we are last break
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: of the day on this Wednesday day. Yes, closing, guys,
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: are any questions at all? Today? I got a question
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: for you questions? Uh, I think we asked you this before.
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: But you know we're deep into summer. What what else?
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: What can you tell us annoys you about summer? Well,
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: you know summertime it's when it gives hours are longer
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: than the day. The heat is up and I don't
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: know what it is about heat. Heat allows people to
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: hang out mo and in the hanging out, it's what
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: a lot of a lot of things happened that don't
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: happen in the wintertime. You know, it's people. I watched
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: the guy the other day. You know, it really threw
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: me off. I saw a guy walking. It's not that
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: hot yet. It's just not that hot. It's it's jewel.
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: It's not that hot yet. He's just walking with no
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: shirt off, and he's sexy, all right. Hell, but he
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: didn't have a no shirt body. Okay, I was gonna say,
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: was he six packs? No? No, no, no, It's just
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: he had no business and it wasn't it wasn't even
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: that hot, but he felt the need to take his
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: shirt off. I don't know why you think that's necessary.
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: You don't walk faster with your shirt off, and all
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: you do is got people going, why the hell he
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: got his shirt off. That's one of the most annoying
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: things to me about SUM. It allows people to it's
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: been less clothed that really should be more clothed. Coat
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: covers a multitudoucy. But Steve kind of following up on that.
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: You know, I find that men are way more comfortable
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: in their bodies than women are. You know, women are
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: the ones that are going getting cosmetic surgery. You know,
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: I mean some men do it now too, But why
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: is it that men are so comfortable in their bodies,
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: no matter if they're fat, if they're fit, whatever the situation. Well,
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: number one, we don't have the pressure on us that
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: women have to look a certain way, right right, We're
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: not judged in the same way. I'll give you an example.
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: Even if a woman becomes extremely rich, she's still judged
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: on how she looked, right yeah, right. A man get
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: extremely rich, don't nobody say nothing. Don't nobody say nothing.
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: He just hitched dog dog and women will buypass all that.
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: Oh yeah, absolutely, it's just that double standard. Dog girl.
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: I don't know what you see, but out that ain't
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: what I see. I see. I see a future, I
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: see travels. I see these kids. Kids ain't gonna be
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: that attractive, but they're gonna be They're gonna be I
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: put them in These children are not gonna be that attractive,
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: but I'm gonna put them this with a Gucci track suits,
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: I get them some little Louis of Tom Belson back. Yeah,
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: they're gonna be fine. They're gonna be fine. You know,
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: I'm gonna just put them in the latest clothes. You know,
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: they'll be fine. You know, God, I hope they don't
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: look like their dad, but you know it's gonna be good. Dog,
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: don't work out? God, Sorry. Remember Joscelyn said that one
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: time about her baby. Why couldn't you look more like
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: your mommy? Why you gotta look like your daddy? Like
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: what my mom the little girl your mama said that
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: to you. Yeah, just like your damn daddy. Tank here,
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: dad boy, I really knew you already knew what the
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: attracted wasn't gonna be in me. Already knew that early on.
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: Junior say, oh, yeah, gotta be gotta be very pad
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: anything because you can't relate Tommy. You here, it's the
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: denial for me. I got one. Junior. Yeah, let me
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: ask you, um, you know, like you know you said
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: there's levels to to to to to making money and
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: you feel you in right of How why did you
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: know you start wanting to make more money? Like? How
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: did you know how to get there? Was it somebody
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: taught you? Did you just have to figure it out
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: on your own? I didn't. I didn't. I didn't know
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: how to get there. If I knew how to get
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: it here, I would have been here. I would have
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: skipped all those other steps. But the levels to get there,
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: it also requires a process. There is no getting to
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: the next level without going through a process. And so
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: depends on what you want that determines what the process is.
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: And so you know, it's not that I knew how
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: to do it. The thing that I've discovered about finances
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: is the more finances you get exposed to. When you
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: get what happens is is it broadens your horizon of
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: what's available out there. And that right there alone causes
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: you to work hard to get more of it. Because example,
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: you start taking really nice vacation, then you get out
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: there and you look over somebody else taking a nice
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: ser vacation and if you want that, oh wow, man,
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: they stayed here. Man they did this, Oh they rolled
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: in like that, and then you see that. But exposure
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: broadens your exposure. That's the thing about exposure, man. And
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: let me tell you something about exposure. You can never
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: forget exposure. You will never forget what you've been exposed to.
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: You can't forget what it felt like to fly first
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: class and you keep walking past that seat to sit
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: in coach. You cannot do it, cannot do it all.
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: Once you get exposed. Pardner, Hey, y'all listen, y'all have
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: a great day. God loves you. Talk to God today.
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: He would love to hear from you. It's an easy
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: relationship to have and it's available to all of it.
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: I did it this morning, of fact, soon as I
