Latest / No Latency / No Latency - Season One Q&A
Transcript
- 0:08Tracy's hosting sir. Oh, so I am taking it right from
- 0:12the beginning. I was thinking, okay, A little
- 0:15intro. Hello, everybody and welcome to
- 0:20our no latency podcast Q&A. Whoo!
- 0:25We got the whole cast here. Y'all finished season 1.
- 0:29How do you, how do you feel? I feel, yeah.
- 0:32Well, I'm a little bit relieved release.
- 0:37We worked on this story for a long time and it's, you know,
- 0:41it's it's hard when something comes to an end.
- 0:43Always. Yeah.
- 0:44How long. Yeah, I started, we started, we
- 0:50started broadcasting it on March, 3rd 2021.
- 0:55And we started recording it about two months, prior to that.
- 0:59So, a year and a half, Wow, more.
- 1:03Wow. So we have a lot of questions
- 1:08for all of you. By the way.
- 1:09Hi, everybody. I'm Tracy also known as magitek
- 1:12mismatch Tech. I've guessed it on the show
- 1:14quite a bit, so if you might have seen me on the most recent
- 1:19racing racing for Joy. So that was a lot of fun.
- 1:24But I'm here to talk to the cast and kind of take some of the
- 1:27questions that you all have submitted either.
- 1:31On patreon or other means of the internet's and ask the cast
- 1:35about the season. So I'm going to go ahead and
- 1:37jump into it and we will just go through all these questions and
- 1:43just have a good chat. So let's start with I really
- 1:46like this. I really like some of these
- 1:50submitted questions here. I'm going to start with this
- 1:52one. From Aaron who said what was the
- 1:58inspiration behind? Everyone's characters?
- 2:01To start. We'll start, we'll start with
- 2:02the character talk. Who wants to go first?
- 2:07Well, I'll go first. I had no idea.
- 2:11I I don't know what happened, but I kind of let everybody else
- 2:17pick their class first. And what was left was like La
- 2:24man. And corpo and there was no way I
- 2:27was gonna be a Lawman. So I don't know.
- 2:32Ioi, based her off of the woman who did the blood thing.
- 2:39But she's she tanked a whole company.
- 2:43Oh my god. Oh yes!
- 2:46What's that sore nose? Yes.
- 2:50Yes. Was that her name or is that the
- 2:53only Any? No idea.
- 2:55We thought you were. But that yeah, the story about
- 2:57the pill thing. The tiny amount of blood in the
- 3:00machine and it didn't work. Yes.
- 3:02Anyways based off of that woman. I actually have no idea what
- 3:05you're talking about so if you want to tell me more about I'll
- 3:07pull it up. I'll pull it up.
- 3:08Hold up. We'll come back to that
- 3:12inspiration in a second I guess. Well I might my inspiration.
- 3:16I think is pretty clear. It's a cowboy. and I did a very
- 3:23similar thing to Jade which was you know wait until everyone
- 3:26else did their thing and then be like okay what we got left and I
- 3:30saw no mad and like I think the the kind of I think it's fun to
- 3:36take something that's not normally in the genre and kind
- 3:39of force its way into the Champs are just beat the living hell
- 3:43out of it until it's works in the genre that you're in and
- 3:48yeah, having like a fun like, you know, gun-slinging cowboy in
- 3:54a cyberpunk city, I think is fun and kind of plays against type
- 3:59and I already knew that I was going to be like the butt of the
- 4:02joke. I always knew it was going to be
- 4:04like the Comic relief, the more, the less serious of the group.
- 4:10I already knew that was going to be my, my stick, and then to
- 4:13just add that on with gun-slinging.
- 4:18Cowboy, just seemed like a fun time and so far it has been
- 4:25Yeah. I was into a lot of Japanese
- 4:28research at the time was going away, goes to Shima.
- 4:32And so the main guy from that I think was my inspiration wanting
- 4:36to be sort of like a street, Samurai working for arisaka
- 4:39wielding, the sword going around killing people.
- 4:42It was kind of. That was about.
- 4:44So yeah, those me. So you were like, you were like,
- 4:48what if goes to tsushima in cyberpunk and I was like what if
- 4:51Red Dead Redemption to instead? Yeah.
- 5:01I mean, mine was more of like just kind of a lucky pick to be
- 5:06honest. I when I got asked to do it, I
- 5:10immediately ran and made like I think five different characters
- 5:15from five different jobs and just was like, hey, which one do
- 5:22you think would work best and We just kind of came to the
- 5:26Assumption after I heard most of everyone else's, I was like,
- 5:29okay, I'm just going to pick the tech because everyone beg the
- 5:33other ones, just kind of were already picked by everyone else.
- 5:35And when I was thinking about making my character, I was like,
- 5:38all right, what's the best game? Breaking way to handle it?
- 5:43So that way it just annoys RDM and was like, I'm just going to
- 5:48take a mix of an old anime that I had recently watched called
- 5:53Dead Leaves. Dad.
- 5:55Leave. Okay yeah and I'm going to make
- 5:58my character based off of them. I have gotten asked before if
- 6:02it's based off of saga Saga. Yeah.
- 6:06Which so I had no idea about and in all honestly, I had never
- 6:10read Saga. I hadn't heard about Saga until
- 6:13it started. The show, and Kendall was like,
- 6:16are you based off of saga? I was like, what's that?
- 6:21But eventually I did. By Saga at Comic-Con.
- 6:27So I now have it. No, I'm only one chapter in so,
- 6:32no spoilers. So that was the the TV head
- 6:36inspiration. I was dead that leaves.
- 6:39It was definitely throwing candy, right?
- 6:42Like yes his name is retro you. What about the, what about the
- 6:49names? Did you all have like naming
- 6:53characters? To me is always, like, very
- 6:55difficult. I also steal, I usually steal
- 6:57from like The Witcher, when my DD paired, I always feel like
- 7:01character names. So, do you, do you all have like
- 7:03a method for Like, going about naming the character.
- 7:10Well, I just, I just find somebody just shows something
- 7:13that seemed to be the most. I wanted something because I
- 7:17knew look, here's the thing about names in RPGs is that
- 7:20everyone shortens their name? You happy always have a long
- 7:23name and there's a short version of that.
- 7:25So I knew that I had to have that baked in and I just tried
- 7:28to find the most like old-timey name that I could and Jebediah
- 7:33sound like sounded like the right move.
- 7:36And then that shortens the Jeb which I think is great.
- 7:39And then to name Sloan that one was actually way harder.
- 7:43I fight. I got Jebediah in my head and
- 7:45was like, boom, that's it. It's done, but naming slow.
- 7:48And there's a little tougher because I wanted it to be
- 7:50something different. I want to be like, a not, I
- 7:52didn't want it to be like, Kathy, like Sarah.
- 7:56I wanted to be something a little more level, more Mystique
- 7:58in there and I think I nailed it was slow.
- 8:01Hmm, that's all. Yeah, it is night City and like
- 8:05a lot of times too, especially with like cyberpunk, you kind of
- 8:08have, like, met you Might have a real name but you also have a
- 8:10handle so you know it's also interesting.
- 8:15Iona, doesn't get shortened ever leave me after, why?
- 8:23I mean, I know with my 90 like I had again, just stolen it from
- 8:29Dead Leaves as well, which was a kind of, more of a happenstance.
- 8:33I had already came up with the idea of having my characters
- 8:37nickname, being retro before the TV head deal because I was
- 8:41already kind of thinking of having them being this kind of
- 8:44Stoner, ish, you know, Mad Alchemist wizard of tack But you
- 8:53know kind of you know how pot smokers can consistently make
- 8:56anything out of a big and make a bong out of a vcr.
- 9:00And I had came up with the name. I just wanted to have a really
- 9:06interesting name so I had found an old Creole because that was
- 9:10the idea to have retro be Creole and it was going with ra ra
- 9:15Mingus Ortiz. Otherwise, shortened to Remy.
- 9:21And I also kind of like, I know, for me, I like having characters
- 9:24that do have nicknames, but I don't like having cool nicknames
- 9:27because of anybody who's ever had a nickname.
- 9:29Realizes you don't get a nickname for being cool.
- 9:31And badass a nickname is always because of something stupid.
- 9:35You did or something funny that happened to you.
- 9:38That's what a nickname is based off of.
- 9:40So that's why I like creating a nickname that's more based off
- 9:44of an event for the character thick.
- 9:49Yeah, I do remember I can't bassano I just I think it is
- 9:52made it a, the sounded cool. Yeah and they had a code name
- 9:58that was like straight edge or something but that sounds really
- 10:01dumb. So like and died so quickly.
- 10:04I like a bit like episode 1 is really straight edge it's still
- 10:10in its still in that episode. Yeah but then it was like Hey I
- 10:14use a katana. I think I'd have a straightest
- 10:18something How did you come up with Iona?
- 10:27I decided that I wanted her to be Romanian and then I looked up
- 10:30Romanian names. Okay.
- 10:32That's why I own has are just a generic Romanian name and
- 10:37popescu is the most common last name in Romania.
- 10:44Wow. Okay, so we talked a little bit,
- 10:50you know, about your characters but more specifically I want to
- 10:54ask now about your character arcs this season.
- 10:58So a question from patreon from Pirate rabbit, Sim asked, what
- 11:04does everybody think about their character arcs?
- 11:08What Arc? Just this season overall.
- 11:15Something. If there are any specific arcs
- 11:17that you're like, I had this my character went through this
- 11:19during this time and, yeah, you know, I think there's there's
- 11:24something interesting that happens when playing RPGs with
- 11:27people, like, when you first start a campaign.
- 11:31And I think that is that the arc that everyone goes through, is
- 11:35learning where they sit in the group, dynamic, you know, No,
- 11:40and that means sometimes it happens immediately.
- 11:42Sometimes it takes the entire session or the entire season,
- 11:47and sometimes it happens in a few episodes, right?
- 11:49And I think that, I think that the way I started playing Jeb
- 11:54was pretty kind of, you know, are headed e kind of immediately
- 12:03but it was it was this interesting thing that happened,
- 12:05where I started to feel that that Jeb's placed in the group
- 12:10dynamic was the, like, sit back and hit him hard, like, hit him
- 12:19hard with the jokes and then like get back and like, let
- 12:22everyone else take the spot for a bit and it was kind of weird.
- 12:25Once I had a whole Arc of like, becoming a bit of a celebrity
- 12:32and like learning to like Drive in the Death Race.
- 12:35And when I had to be like, The front stage, I was like, oh wow,
- 12:39this is like, I haven't really done this in this show much, and
- 12:43that was interesting from a kind of meta standpoint, that's the
- 12:47best I could do for commenting on a, on a season wide park.
- 12:55Yeah. So Noah's Ark is very
- 12:56interesting because it's very internal of him, you know, very
- 13:01clearly having a goal to hit arisaka and the learning he was
- 13:04created by arisaka like in more ways than one because he was a
- 13:08clone and that was really interesting we're all playing
- 13:15challenge of how am I able to verbalize the internal struggles
- 13:20that Sano is going through? And I thought it was very fun to
- 13:25play out and they very much wanted early on for Sano to make
- 13:31the sacrifice play because I feel like that's exactly what he
- 13:35would do and especially learning that he was a clone.
- 13:39And really literally built from like the evil methods of this
- 13:46company that he was like yeah, this is my goal in life.
- 13:52To to do this and also really learning to really appreciate
- 13:57everybody on the crew. I think going from very
- 14:01standoffish to very, very friendly and bantery to everyone
- 14:06especially retro which we had a whole, you listen to the
- 14:11patriarch. I got a whole sitcom together
- 14:15where we bonded through that a lot, too.
- 14:17So, I think I really like saw knows, I really love the shy.
- 14:22I like kind of aggressive, type character, opening up and
- 14:26becoming for that. I love that joke in.
- 14:28Animes like opening up to everybody else and making
- 14:33friends. Yeah, it was really fun to play.
- 14:37Anybody else have a? Yeah well I mean I know for for
- 14:47Remy Remy I don't think really had much of like an arc within
- 14:53our first season maybe because I think I was still trying to
- 14:57figure what Remy wants and needs were as well as I feel like kind
- 15:06of creating more of a Bonds with the rest of the characters.
- 15:10I mean I know that I think I've maybe created some Mark stuff
- 15:15with Iona as we've had our reactions for certain things,
- 15:21you know, I mean like I think if we're going to go off a main
- 15:23arcs, would probably be the sanno and retro show on patreon
- 15:28for most of stuff, and the kind of bonding that we had there in
- 15:32all honesty for out of the stuff.
- 15:34I feel like if we're talking about this, I Few very much of
- 15:39our characters kind of more in a in.
- 15:41Yeah, somewhat of a sitcom e way of our characters reacting to
- 15:45each other of like the sitcom Friends, you know, I saw Jeb
- 15:50being very much of a Phoebe and I own a very much Ross, Sano was
- 15:56a Monica, and my character, of course was a Chandler.
- 15:59So of course, of course, I don't agree.
- 16:04Just one point, one point you did get it.
- 16:07Duck. That was pretty cool.
- 16:10I think the duck carcass, you know.
- 16:12Yes I do. No duck to duck very simple, but
- 16:18right fast, I I liked having characters that were slightly
- 16:26different stages of their Arc because retro and I oh no both
- 16:30had stuff that happened before the main podcast started and it
- 16:35was fun bringing that back. Really, genuinely not talking
- 16:38about it and just letting you guys role play that in the
- 16:41moment that was super great. Yeah, it's I think it's always
- 16:46interesting to start any campaign with at least two
- 16:51characters knowing each other. So the fact that we had actual
- 16:57like live play experience, where we met each other, that is
- 17:02recorded and available somewhere.
- 17:04I don't know where on the patreon, it's pinned at the top
- 17:13as the Main thing. But yeah, and it built an
- 17:18interesting relationship, especially because Remy and Iona
- 17:22are two very, very different people.
- 17:28So adding since it was brought up by both Sano and retro, I
- 17:34figured I will ask this next question from supersonic miked.
- 17:38So the the sanno and retro show what was the what was the
- 17:42inspiration for it? And and I guess for you binary
- 17:46and and for the cast, will we see something like this and more
- 17:49Side Quests for Susie to? Yeah, I really loved the idea.
- 17:57Once once we started playing and realize, oh, we are kind of
- 18:00opposites of each other. You are heavy Tech and I am
- 18:04heavy not Tech and trying and despised Tech in the same thing
- 18:10with like Jeb and I Onassis like the outside dirty environment
- 18:14like inside clean. Corpo like all of us are like,
- 18:16op, complete opposites and so I thought it would be funny to be
- 18:20roommates with Remy and to have that.
- 18:27Bond us and also the thought on retro.
- 18:31So is this kind of out, runoff gag is like okay, what would
- 18:34they talk about? Pretty solid?
- 18:37We literally just did improv sessions together.
- 18:42There we did like, an hour of improv takes of us as our
- 18:46characters doing that. That was fun.
- 18:50It was really great and then they sent it to me and like,
- 18:53half of them have a note? No, yeah.
- 18:57Bunch uncut footage out there, for sure.
- 18:59Yeah, I'm just like pits that just did not make it out there.
- 19:03Yeah. There's a few more to come in
- 19:05September. There's like one or two
- 19:06episodes. It's based off.
- 19:08You two are because we, we said something about, you two, being
- 19:11an Odd Couple, and then, we were like The Odd.
- 19:14Couple gonna do it. What's good night, Adam, I had a
- 19:19live studio audience sound effects, there's like laughter
- 19:21and clapping and all of that kind of stuff.
- 19:23Yeah, it was, that's the part that makes me.
- 19:27Me I've been glad foremost when I've gone back to re-listen to
- 19:30him because for sure every time whenever we're recording, we're
- 19:35both, I think there's points where we just kind of, like,
- 19:37hold for laughter. I think it's sometimes of like,
- 19:40we think this actual joke landed or not, And what will it will
- 19:50there be more for season 2? No be more but there won't be
- 19:54more Sano and ranchers true. Obviously any other any other
- 20:02like spin-off stuff that you think would be planned.
- 20:05I mean we did something with Jeb.
- 20:07We did. I look every cast one episode of
- 20:13the a Jana and Jeb show, fundraising goal silence,
- 20:28talking to Iona asking questions and trying to get like just
- 20:32something out of her. And then just I own a being like
- 20:36one word answers and then silence I mean, it doesn't hate
- 20:43gym. No.
- 20:45But I think you've listened if you've listened to the series
- 20:49and it doesn't hate gym. I own a bought you a new duster.
- 20:54That's true. And cares about you.
- 20:56She cares about everybody. Yeah.
- 20:58Oh, Jeb cares about everyone equally and except for Except
- 21:04for who's Sloan who he loves above everyone, that's himself.
- 21:09I would say, that's essentially what we spun off was the Jeb and
- 21:15Sloan show if you will but we're calling it The the Jeb Diaries
- 21:21and it's and Jeb no latency tales as well.
- 21:23Actually it ended up being. Yeah, no latency Tails.
- 21:26I had this great idea of calling.
- 21:28It Sloan lilyc wheeze. I think I said it's essentially
- 21:35a soliloquy said by Jeb recapping the The Arc told to
- 21:43slow slow. Yeah, it's brilliant.
- 21:46And I have been dashed of my creative voice.
- 21:49Yeah. And I animate that.
- 21:51So it's on YouTube mid-september.
- 21:55So you can see that we're just constantly redoing old 60s 70s.
- 22:00Yes, TV shows. First one was The Odd Couple
- 22:02announcement Mouse, mr. Ed and we'll have a next Mister
- 22:07Ed, mr. Sok.
- 22:12Okay, let's see. Oh, there's a lot of good like
- 22:15questions related to The Players here, so now, that's right.
- 22:19Yeah, I okay, let's do this one. What was the biggest surprise
- 22:26for each of the players? And for binary, I know this is
- 22:28sometimes hard to like, think about About, you have to kind of
- 22:32think back to things and but if there's anything that jumps out
- 22:35to anybody, like, oh yeah, this was a surprising moment or
- 22:37something. That surprised me.
- 22:38I have a question from supersonic, Mike.
- 22:41Thank you supersonic. I actually have a kind of a
- 22:44spin-off question off of that or a more of a pointed question off
- 22:49of that to De binary, which is it really seems like you.
- 22:56You know, delicately planned. And intricately woven this story
- 23:00together from the beginning, how much of how much of the story
- 23:07did you have in mind and how much did you allow to
- 23:10spontaneously occur through our actions?
- 23:15I was really careful to let you guys do weird shit to get these
- 23:19vending machines. It's kind of like, that's that I
- 23:23was, that's going to be the freedom in my head because it
- 23:25has to end somewhere. So hopefully, it ends with them
- 23:28rescuing Domino. Hopefully, that was kind of my
- 23:31loose thing. That's kind of the thing I want
- 23:33to happen at the end as a Storyteller and as a GM and the
- 23:37rest was like, here's a building and it's here.
- 23:39I wonder how they'll get it. Sometimes there was a puzzle
- 23:41that I thought might be fun. If somebody solved it and in a
- 23:45lot of the time you guys were a step ahead of where I expected
- 23:48you to be and then you would spend too long talking about it.
- 23:56Big surprise. I'm a clone that was a big one.
- 23:59That was huge. I totally did not see that
- 24:01coming. That blew me away.
- 24:02That was for sure, that's my answer.
- 24:05Probably my favorite part though.
- 24:06It's a as I pulled the snot Total Recall.
- 24:09It's the other movie where the with the eyeball thing.
- 24:12Yeah, sixth day. No, no.
- 24:15Hardly consistent flavor. It's six.
- 24:17I think you can tell like how deep in the Clone they are.
- 24:25And I just mentioned that offhand and binary ran with it.
- 24:31Yeah. During the recording, I was
- 24:33like, Googling, what? What a one was in binary code,
- 24:38so I could have the correct, binary code under his eye and
- 24:40stuff. It was fun.
- 24:41We do that. We did that a lot for season
- 24:43one. Where someone One players or me
- 24:47would come up with a good idea. But no, no, no, let's go back.
- 24:50That should be part of this and we've totally just retcon stuff
- 24:52because it's just more fun. Hmm, there's two in my mind for
- 24:58sure. That I think we're like the big,
- 25:01the big reveals that caught me. The first one was this binary
- 25:08code that we get in these messages.
- 25:11We've we've been playing for, at least half the year so far Maybe
- 25:15Two thirds and hadn't really know.
- 25:18I, we kind of saw to the bottom but didn't really notice.
- 25:20It just thought it was more of an aesthetic.
- 25:23And at one point there was like a bunch of messages that get
- 25:25thrown at us. And I was kind of reading them
- 25:28all over to make sure I got everything written down in my
- 25:30nose. And I started noticing that the
- 25:31binary and I'm were not the same.
- 25:36So then while in the middle of a session while we're recording
- 25:40and while we're playing, I am I've muted my mic and I just
- 25:44start typing here slain typing because I can't copy and paste
- 25:49it because it's a picture file. I'm just I'm just like oh this
- 25:54is starting to say something here and I can't remember
- 25:59exactly which episode that was that it ended up coming out with
- 26:01but yeah, I think there was like a whole big bit where I was just
- 26:04like, somebody did trick, right? Chocking me at one point.
- 26:07I think it might have got caught up and I was like, she's quite,
- 26:08I'm trying to actually break this binary, then there was the
- 26:19second one for surprised even though the biggest surprise I
- 26:23got was that when the second one which was my favorite because I
- 26:26absolutely had no idea what's going to happen and come and I
- 26:29don't think anybody did. But the Improv was the couch at
- 26:34Steve mansion, Because you're welcome for that.
- 26:40Yeah, that's about in the blooper reel, by the way.
- 26:43So I was just, I was just trying to be my character and being
- 26:49kind of a klepto. I like, I'm the kind of person
- 26:52as a gamer who ravages through everything to get all the items
- 26:56to put in the bag. Right.
- 26:57So I was like there's a couch, you know, I'm sure there's like
- 26:59a couple of Eddie's that are probably found in there and of
- 27:02course, when we split the group what happens, And we get a nice
- 27:07improv between Iona and Sato of what terrible things that I've
- 27:13not now happened is couch, and now they've all become Cannon
- 27:17and I can't do anything. I just have to sit back and
- 27:19react to it now because of it, that one's my favorite because
- 27:24that wouldn't genuine caught me by surprise and in all honesty
- 27:27was extremely funny because I can, I couldn't do anything
- 27:30about it. I think it's probably one of my
- 27:32favorite bits on the show is that even though it is For sure
- 27:37pulling. So surprised.
- 27:39That's for sure, very, very bullying.
- 27:44What about you, binary? Did you have any surprise
- 27:47moments as a GM? I have my favorite moments that
- 27:52I have watched these people, enjoy.
- 27:57And honestly, one of my favorites was when Iona found
- 28:01Dash in space, station X. Sorry, not space station in
- 28:06station X. It was It is it is so exciting
- 28:11to be like hey I've got kind of a skeleton of a story where you
- 28:13add the meat, you know, as a GM this is kind of like here, do
- 28:16something with it. That's fun that I don't expect
- 28:18to it'll be fun. And so go ahead and I would just
- 28:23J just knocked out of the park. Whoo-hoo, Dash is dashes from
- 28:28the original one shot rotten heart of was not a part of the
- 28:34only space system. Wow.
- 28:36Yeah, that was my first assistant, who was Nice.
- 28:40But even without context of that you still get from the episode
- 28:44and from that moment that this person is important and that
- 28:47like previous circumstances doesn't need someone to sort of
- 28:50stand there and give Exposition it came out in there in the
- 28:53story and the way that that moment happened, it was just
- 28:56really fun. It was really fun to edit to one
- 28:58of those moments that I edited and cried at the same time,
- 29:01really good? That's awesome.
- 29:03It was one of my favorites. And then I suppose that's one of
- 29:08them. And then the other one was when,
- 29:11when Evan found the binary code, but also found it while we
- 29:16weren't recording and waiting for something to download like
- 29:18in a little picture. So, Kendall, this question is
- 29:28for you, since you brought it up in this past question about
- 29:31surprises, supersonic also asked did Kendall decide Sano is a
- 29:36clone at the beginning or did that did like did that come up
- 29:39organically or was that like just don't think that was a
- 29:43surprise. Hey, no, latency listeners, it's
- 29:54spoon. I play Jeb here on no latency,
- 29:56but I also produce the brand new show system switch, and it's
- 29:59called systems which because every few episodes we take our
- 30:02same beloved characters and throw them into a completely new
- 30:06universe in the form of a new role.
- 30:08Playing game. Will go from steampunk to
- 30:11cyberpunk from fantasy, to sci-fi from romantic comedy too.
- 30:14Dark comedy from D, and D 2 Call of Cthulhu and everything in
- 30:18between. So join us on our wrong through
- 30:21the Multiverse. Bye sir.
- 30:22In for system, switch on your favorite podcasting app.
- 30:34The ho yeah, it was a big surprise.
- 30:37Binary, ask me. There is something I want to do.
- 30:40That might change your backstory.
- 30:42Are you cool with it? I was like, yeah, I'm super cool
- 30:44that I love anything like that. That like my husband rethink.
- 30:49Super cool, makes me rethink how you view your reality.
- 30:55I think any time that affects the character, it's always
- 30:57interesting because it's automatically dramatic.
- 31:01So, yeah, I love Of that. And I knew something was coming
- 31:05but I didn't know his call and when it came up it was like
- 31:08that's cool. Yeah, that was fun.
- 31:12Yeah. And for the record, I we, we
- 31:17knew Kendall was gonna die. All of us did, but the thing
- 31:24with the Clone and all of his story being involved, like I
- 31:27said to Kendall, what can I do? And Kendall said something along
- 31:30the lines of do whatever you want, which is a dangerous thing
- 31:35to say to a GM. He's also a very good GM for the
- 31:38record so he knew what I was getting into and I had a lot of
- 31:42fun playing with your history and like, Leaving.
- 31:44It's a bit deeper into the story.
- 31:46Was fun. Thank you.
- 31:47Yeah, I like that, it's nice. Like, when there's that I was, I
- 31:51guess, like, giving like the trust where it's like, okay,
- 31:54I'll leave it in your hands and tell the story and it's that's
- 31:59one of my favorite things about like tabletop role-playing and
- 32:02telling a good story together is when you can entrust that and
- 32:05and do that collaborative storytelling.
- 32:06So it's pretty cool. I really like that.
- 32:09So I'm going through most of like these deeper player
- 32:12questions and then we can kind kind of move into some different
- 32:16questions, but another question for all the players and even the
- 32:21GM anything that you Anything you'd want to do differently, if
- 32:27you could do it again in this season and this question comes
- 32:30from swirly ink. So is there anything this past
- 32:35season that you think you would do differently if you could do
- 32:40it again? It's a deep one.
- 32:45I like it deep Planters. Some probably not spit moonshine
- 32:52into a fireball. You don't know until you try.
- 33:03I I do have something I would change and that is Sloane was
- 33:09like a huge part of my character, the very beginning
- 33:11and like it was so awesome having this.
- 33:16It was so helpful to role play when there's something so
- 33:18grounded. And so like this stake in the
- 33:21ground that you can always tie yourself back to, you know, and
- 33:25so it was great for that. And then as soon as she was like
- 33:27healed, it was like whoop and then she was just gone and she
- 33:31hardly came into To play afterwards.
- 33:34And so I definitely wish I would have played with Sloan a little
- 33:38bit more and had more of a relationship there because I
- 33:40think that's a fun. It's a fun Dynamic to have and
- 33:44you'll end because of that, I think you'll see a lot more slow
- 33:47and season 2. I wish that I had rolled more
- 33:57sanitizer checks. I like it again.
- 33:59It was a part of my character that we established and then
- 34:02didn't really use so that we used a lot later in the season.
- 34:09And from the recordings of the beginning of this season, we
- 34:13have already started incorporating it.
- 34:15A lot more It said it was such a fun home breathing to put
- 34:20together. We've had a lot of fun with like
- 34:25Ramen Homebrew things. We just want to make up an ad.
- 34:27Yeah, yeah, I think I wish I interacted with then do more.
- 34:35I think there was a relationship that was building there that.
- 34:41Well, I don't know. I feel like that could have
- 34:44could have played more into that and we could have had more
- 34:46conversations but I think the character to was a bit afraid to
- 34:51do that because he kind of knew he would wanted to make a
- 34:54Sacrifice by so he was kind of keeping away purposely to so
- 34:59don't know if I change that but maybe find find more places
- 35:02where that could more organically happen, makes sense.
- 35:06Anything for Remy. Well, not really, I don't think
- 35:13there's really anything that I would want to change.
- 35:15Perfect, perfect. I'm regrets.
- 35:17No one thinks about making changes is because, you know,
- 35:27something didn't go your way and you kind of wanted more than
- 35:32likely a better reaction to it for me going playing in this
- 35:36game. There were a lot of things that
- 35:39definitely did not go my way or things that went a lot of our
- 35:42ways but I don't want to change anything because even though
- 35:46there were some definitely difficult intense times while
- 35:49playing, this is one of the times in playing with the group.
- 35:53We're very in a very quick time and I think comparably for
- 35:58playing wise, I realized that our Styles and our trust in each
- 36:04other was Exemplar me, Exemplar me.
- 36:10I can't even say it right now. I'm so overcome with emotion
- 36:13with it. We don't know.
- 36:18I think there's times when people playing wise with like
- 36:20things that you want to do or things with your character.
- 36:23And I know that they're very much of the this is what my
- 36:25character would do. But I think a lot of times
- 36:29within the game that nobody ever stopped anybody from making a
- 36:33character Choice with their character or put them really.
- 36:36Down for the choices that they did with their character.
- 36:39And I think everybody had trust within that we're not purposely
- 36:44trying to ruin the game or hurt each other or anything like
- 36:48that, and still be able to have moments of tents emotion, or
- 36:55anger, or just anything that's just well above a comfort level,
- 37:00but trust within our style of playing and within our style of
- 37:05improving recording, That we're not hurting each other, we all
- 37:09know, and trust each other. That this is just the game.
- 37:12The show, the story that we are telling, and that we can suffer,
- 37:17whatever little small indignities or big indignities
- 37:20that we can after a while. We can go back and still be
- 37:23friends afterwards. So no I don't think there's
- 37:27anything. I would want to change, I will
- 37:28accept everything, that's bad, that's happened.
- 37:30Because that's who we become now to sum it up.
- 37:36No regards. Yeah.
- 37:39Which and Breezy asked a similar question to this where it has
- 37:44anyone every decision. Has anyone ever made a decision
- 37:48or role that they regret it? That's not that you call my
- 37:54favorite decisions are the ones that screw things up.
- 37:59I yeah, I love being the one that's like I'm gonna make a
- 38:03soup decision because decisions are great, you know it's great
- 38:08or it fails horribly and that just makes for an even better
- 38:12story. Like it's boring.
- 38:14Just to see everyone. Like it's funny because you
- 38:17know, you roll and you're like, oh, hooray.
- 38:20Even on this planet, I insane Panda, sanitizer roll, hooray,
- 38:27it's green on the screen but like it's so much more fun when
- 38:31shit goes awry and like you have and you're like just in deeper
- 38:35shit now and the problem is just just compounding on itself and
- 38:40you have to Rack your brain to figure out some way to get out
- 38:44of it. That's a that's that story.
- 38:50I don't know. I I I regret in station, 19,
- 39:04like turning on Remy so much, it really marred our relationship.
- 39:10And I don't I I as a player did not understand what like Evan
- 39:20was doing as a kid as a character and and it kind of
- 39:25fucked up the whole relationship.
- 39:26And now it's it's really interesting because we have a
- 39:29relationship based off of that. But at the time I was like God
- 39:34damn it. I wish that person understood
- 39:38what you were doing. If I'm going to say any rules
- 39:45that I feel I regret our any successes that we got for hand
- 39:53sanitizer and I wanted to see that thing for them are plenty
- 39:58of times in which sanitized always, I don't and every single
- 40:02one has been genuine and every single one has been at a perfect
- 40:05time for it to happen. It just been, it really don't
- 40:07like it, I know. But it's also just one of my
- 40:10favorite things is I'm always just hoping to role play alone.
- 40:13We effect. I love rules one.
- 40:20Any, any other regrets that anybody wants to share?
- 40:24Now, yellow. Okay.
- 40:29And you're dead now so that life but worked out really well.
- 40:36Okay, so I'm going to switch it up and start talking about some
- 40:40like more show questions and then we'll go to some sad so no
- 40:45questions and then we'll do some fun general questions.
- 40:50So let's let's change it up and talk about.
- 40:54Like the show itself and the system because there's quite a
- 40:58few questions about that. So the first question is from
- 41:02that gamer Ajax so what Drew you to using cyberpunk for the
- 41:07system, I'm curious myself. What what was the the draw to
- 41:10cyberpunk red? I wanted to play it.
- 41:18Okay. I wanted to play.
- 41:19I did I did I was like I want to play it and layers that the
- 41:23players also like what? Or was it more like you binary
- 41:26like we're doing cyberpunk red. Kind of I got invited to be on
- 41:30Save the Date by Evan sorry. Bye jayde and then Evan and I
- 41:35started chatting it was like oh hey if you want to do a one shot
- 41:41for their patreon and I was like yeah sure.
- 41:43And I was like the only do they indeed he was like that.
- 41:45Do I do cyberpunk read? And I was like, yeah.
- 41:47And so, we did, and it was really fun.
- 41:51And then after that, I was like, I really enjoyed editing it,
- 41:55it's very long. It's on the patreon mind.
- 41:57I really enjoyed editing it. And then I was like, I wanna
- 42:00keep doing it. And I asked some of the players
- 42:02and most them said, yes. The other was like, hey, I'm
- 42:04just too busy. And I was like, okay, please
- 42:05have fun. Thank you for being part of this
- 42:07and then we brought a spoon and Kendall on him.
- 42:11And then we made a show and it was fun, we should.
- 42:14But the system itself, I it. But I started reading about
- 42:17because the video game and I'm not embarrassed about that.
- 42:19Hmm. And so you, you all started no
- 42:23latency. What do you remember?
- 42:24The this is very specific, the month and year because I
- 42:29remember when cyberpunk read, first launch, and I'm wondering,
- 42:31how long after we would technically playing the
- 42:35jumpstart kit. So me January of twenty, twenty
- 42:38one twenty Twenty-One okay? Yeah.
- 42:40So actually, so it can 2020 very late 2008.
- 42:44Came out in 22 like late 2020. Yeah.
- 42:47So you got you guys probably started like, right?
- 42:49Just before Christmas. We started actually.
- 42:52It was still, it was still when we started.
- 42:54Yeah. Yeah.
- 42:56So you guys rude. They're like for a while.
- 42:58Yeah. Yeah.
- 42:59Right in the beginning. When cyberpunk red just was
- 43:01getting very popular. So that's pretty cool.
- 43:04So You, I know you've said that by now that takes a very long
- 43:10time to, to go through these. And this is another question,
- 43:14I'm kind of curious about how long does it take to edit the
- 43:20episodes from a from a Marie and Breezy?
- 43:27And do you have a favorite sound effect that you use?
- 43:30Because you do you all use a lot of folks, are we use facts.
- 43:33So II. Thought I had an answer for
- 43:36that. My favorite sound effect, but I
- 43:38actually realized what my favorite sound effect is which
- 43:40I'll answer. Secondly, it takes me.
- 43:43When I first started doing this, it took me about 14 hours to
- 43:45edit an episode. And doesn't take nearly that
- 43:47long anymore and takes about six six to eight, depending on what
- 43:52if it's, a really heavy episode. And I usually break that up into
- 43:55about two sessions. And my favorite sound effect.
- 43:58I was going to say there's this like crash, clang noise that I
- 44:01use a lot and I kind of like slow it down and speed it up,
- 44:04but actually it's it's the drop hit, Bam!
- 44:07Bam! It's the musical drop.
- 44:09Hit that we have in the beginning at the end of every
- 44:11episode was it's just like pretty.
- 44:14It is pretty good and and it's very distinctive and I really,
- 44:20really liked it. That's the thing.
- 44:21It's unusual. It's funny because like, I when
- 44:24we were at the, when we're at Comic-Con at the pan, And you
- 44:29played what you're going to look it up on YouTube.
- 44:31You can? Yeah, hey, and you played more
- 44:33of the song than normal because like I hear it, we all hear the
- 44:38like intro, right? And then it like, it's going and
- 44:43you're like, and you're like, there's more to the sun.
- 44:56It's like, kind of like so funny.
- 44:58And then it goes and it gets crazy.
- 45:00Anyway, I did it. Who did that song?
- 45:03Because it's available on, it's available on, it's available on
- 45:07iTunes and I'll put the name of the band in the comments of this
- 45:10video and the show notes I don't like it right to them.
- 45:12It's about. Yeah, yeah.
- 45:18No. My favorite sound effects is
- 45:20whenever I make a sound effect and then binary uses it in the
- 45:23show that's those are always my favorite.
- 45:27Jeb hits the show up button on that thing that's broken in the
- 45:31show. It's like this, horrible
- 45:32grinding noise but it's actually Jade going, right.
- 45:37Baba. Oh my gosh, that's so great.
- 45:42Yeah. Binary got mad at me in the
- 45:45first few, like runs of the show like the first because I kept
- 45:49doing my own sound effects. He's like you gotta stop and
- 45:52those they can make all the time.
- 45:58It's become a Trope now. So we just leave in like jab?
- 46:02No more Darkness, Booyah, more. The song is called grit and
- 46:07chips by t-shirts and Sweats. There it is.
- 46:11Cool off to listen to it. So binary, when you like I have
- 46:18to ask this is of, Tracy question.
- 46:20Do you like honestly editing podcasts is like such a task and
- 46:28do you like set aside time like do you schedule your calendar
- 46:31every week? Like this is my time and do like
- 46:34force yourself to do it. Because, I mean, you you all are
- 46:37like very scheduled and it's like You will release the
- 46:40episodes. So it's like do you like that to
- 46:43me? That requires a lot of
- 46:44discipline. So I'm just curious for you.
- 46:47Like how you do what you like? You make sure like every Sunday
- 46:51I'm doing this and that's it. I find a time before we've now
- 46:55built up. A decent backlog which has been
- 46:56really nice because I can like spend a bit more time editing
- 46:59and so it takes I make sure I get one done a week and that
- 47:01keeps me ahead. Yeah I'm pretty proud that we
- 47:04have always had an episode come out on Wednesday whether it's a
- 47:08side quest. A blooper reel or a regular
- 47:10episode. We've always had something come
- 47:12out, that's, and unfortunately, he's really need to do that for
- 47:15like algorithms and stuff. Yes, yes, it's consistency is
- 47:18hard and you guys have managed to keep that consistency.
- 47:22So that's very admirable honestly about eighty, five
- 47:25episodes, all told, including this, I think.
- 47:27Yeah, that's that's amazing because it's not easy.
- 47:31A lot of content, especially like when you have like, things
- 47:34like full-time jobs and other things that you have to manage,
- 47:38it is just Not easy. Oh, it's a struggle.
- 47:42So that's awesome. I was just curious.
- 47:45Okay, so do you all plan on ever doing live streams or recording
- 47:53without an audience? So that's one thing video.
- 47:58Yeah that's actually or only. Oh so do you plan on doing
- 48:01laughter? This is another supersonic Mike,
- 48:03thanks for all your questions by boss.
- 48:05Thanks Mike. Do you plan on?
- 48:07Okay, I'll ask this part and then the second part will do you
- 48:10plan on ever doing live streams for no latency.
- 48:18Do no drop and we did we did we did we did a live panel.
- 48:23This is true. The answer I got was that was
- 48:25normally maybe maybe. I don't know.
- 48:41I think possibly like a side quest.
- 48:42Could be fun or you know something like that that we
- 48:46could do a livestream about The main, the main story is very
- 48:49much focused on being an edited radio play experience, set in
- 48:53the cyberpunk world where we improvise over the game.
- 48:56And I think that's what that's our kind of fingerprint on this.
- 49:00Now, I don't know, I don't know if this is someone that's going
- 49:03to already asked this question, but I would imagine that people
- 49:06are probably curious as to how much is cut.
- 49:10Okay? How much is Al 22%?
- 49:15Yeah, about 22%. Oh, that's just about.
- 49:19Yeah, it's very specific number. Which one is it?
- 49:24I cut a lot of arms on ours. A lot of Silence because I'll
- 49:27show sounds really tight, but actually we have a little bit of
- 49:30a stream DeLay. So I just tighten that up.
- 49:33I get rid of a lot from everyone, lets me than anyone
- 49:37else because I forget because I just had my invoice number.
- 49:39Yeah, shut up me. I'm just trying to find you
- 49:42guys. Yeah, so about 22% on episodes
- 49:46where there's a lot of fighting Ting.
- 49:47It's even more than that usually, like 35 % crazy.
- 49:53How much do you, how much do you cut like entire B?
- 49:59Only the initiative talked more than anything else.
- 50:02That makes sense. That makes sense.
- 50:04Yeah, pretty sure listening to it, most B stay in and the rest
- 50:10of them are in a folder called bloopers and I'm slowly
- 50:12releasing those as well. I do Wonder like, Or rather I
- 50:19should say. It's important to note that
- 50:22like, I don't think we ever re-recorded anything or like,
- 50:26you know, we're like, wow, we didn't like that.
- 50:27Let's try it again. Which I don't assume think is a
- 50:30bad thing if you did do that. But I don't think we've ever
- 50:33done that. Hmm, no, it's good for like,
- 50:36just general. Like what it's like to because
- 50:39for me I saw I mean I've never besides this done a podcast
- 50:46actual play A a table top. So it is interesting and like if
- 50:49there's ever issues it's like, well, we'll do, we just go back
- 50:52and do the upgrades of the episode is like now.
- 50:54Like that's good that, you know, you guys just we've gone back on
- 50:57Tiny moments, where it's like, oh, actually no, this is no,
- 51:00let's have this character be here and I was like, oh yeah,
- 51:02great. And we've done that house.
- 51:04All right, I fumbled up that line.
- 51:06Yeah, yeah, we've done that too. Yeah, which yeah, you can do it.
- 51:10You have a lot more leeway to do that.
- 51:11When you're pre-recording stuff, you can go back, you need to do
- 51:15this Lively. Look like We have to go back.
- 51:29It's true. So livestreams, probably maybe,
- 51:33but it seems like yeah, recordings or special occasion.
- 51:35Yeah. So another general question, do
- 51:40you use a VT virtual tabletop during the gameplay?
- 51:45And if so, is it just for For quick reference, do players
- 51:49move, the token, Storyteller move, the tokens as it usually
- 51:53go for y'all. When you're playing on your vtt,
- 51:56I have a hot take that I will tell after after after binary
- 52:00goes into the details, we use roll20.
- 52:03I make kind of maps that are kind of pseudo Maps.
- 52:06They aren't on a grid and I've made tokens for everyone and you
- 52:10guys move them around sometimes, usually when positioning in the
- 52:13room is important, but most of the time you role played by late
- 52:15looking at the map as if you're in.
- 52:17Space at least from my perspective I'm but I like there
- 52:20to be something for the players to see even though we're an
- 52:23audio only experience and a lot of those Maps end up on our
- 52:25patreon hashtags to Shameless plug.
- 52:28Hmm. My heart.
- 52:33Take my heart take is that cyberpunk.
- 52:35Red is very tactical and relies heavily on on combat and because
- 52:45that if we didn't plan on a VT it would be kind of weird.
- 52:49Yeah. I could not wrong even though
- 52:51you all have a lot of role play it, definitely.
- 52:55All you also have this amount of combat so yeah, it does help to
- 52:58have a map. Map.
- 53:00I've noticed also when running session punk red.
- 53:02Yeah, that is a good question. Okay.
- 53:06So against going through these more technical questions, okay?
- 53:09This is some kind of similar to what we had earlier.
- 53:12So, how did you end up doing cyberpunk?
- 53:14Red with follow-up? Did anyone play cyberpunk prior
- 53:20to this? No, nope.
- 53:23Well, I still don't play cyberpunk.
- 53:25Okay, okay. Before the One-Shot I hadn't GM
- 53:34and at this Legacy really at all.
- 53:37Okay. And what was the first non D&D
- 53:42Pathfinder tabletop that everybody's played?
- 53:46It's good question. Hmm.
- 53:48The first, yeah, the first first RPG that isn't the Indy or
- 53:52Pathfinder light in the dark lights in the dark, okay?
- 53:56It's been my dream. Yeah, that was really fun.
- 54:01I have a bit of a I've created I have an obsession with teachers
- 54:06parents and I have an entire book shelf full of different
- 54:10books that I've read, almost all of them.
- 54:13And I've played about Owen. But I will say that the,
- 54:19actually, the very first TT RPG I ever played was a
- 54:25bastardization of D&D, but that was essentially just rolled just
- 54:30boiled down to me and my friends rolling a D20 and deciding what
- 54:34happens based off of the number that shows up, and we called it,
- 54:38dunge so nicely. Done, Tech like it done.
- 54:44Judge. I'm going to put that in season.
- 54:46Awesome. I played red and Call of Cthulhu
- 54:50is really fun as a nice have more realism and mystery and
- 54:56creepiness in the games, I play on some fun, 10 candles, really
- 55:01good. Definitely, my god.
- 55:02Really fun time. Coming Halloween is coming up.
- 55:06I was just thinking that's a good time.
- 55:08Good time. Absolutely.
- 55:10We did it. Ten candles on, Save the da
- 55:12that. Yeah, Jay drat, I get a really
- 55:14good. Mmm.
- 55:17I think spoon was also my first non Dungeons and Dragons.
- 55:22Pathfinder D&D. Rtt RPG, rather scum, and
- 55:27villainy. Awesome ability for save the
- 55:38date. And if I if I recall your
- 55:41character in that was V, just the letter V, which is funny
- 55:47like for various reasons because comment like, you know,
- 55:53cyberpunk and the cyberpunk. Also, also this Majid X
- 55:59character on those pie crust. I didn't realize that I did I'd
- 56:03actually did hadn't put that together because her full name
- 56:05is Vivian. And then I just was like Vivi
- 56:08and then I realized that, yeah, that's all Cyberpunk - yeah.
- 56:13Yeah yeah. Okay.
- 56:16So last I think more technically question again, super soft super
- 56:22side. Thanks for all the questions.
- 56:24A lot of questions. You fossati chance.
- 56:25Yes, thank you. How did the idea of introducing
- 56:33fast? DND style healing, come into
- 56:35play? That's low question.
- 56:39One talking is boring next. Slow, healing is boring to
- 56:42listen to. Yeah, we don't want to die and
- 56:45we got a gift. Also, we paid for art for these
- 56:49characters who, if they leave, they have to leave for a good
- 56:50reason. When you have the art, you're
- 56:53committed. That's yeah, if a carriage, is
- 56:56got really good art on a show, you're watching probably fine.
- 56:59Why they coming back? It has a little bit of pot over
- 57:04there but also because I mean it's what am I going to do?
- 57:08Do every episode be like, and two weeks later after their legs
- 57:11and arms have been repaired? I could guess.
- 57:13But can we just assume that like the, the Domino job getting him
- 57:16getting back took a year? There was a Christmas moment.
- 57:19There was a Halloween moment, but it only took a year, but it
- 57:22did take time. I guess.
- 57:23I don't know. I think it's a really good
- 57:25question, but needs must, it was kind of boring to have like
- 57:29constant medical attention either.
- 57:31Yeah, it's way more fun to make it narratively important.
- 57:33So it still feels valid in the world.
- 57:36Yeah, I think it just it also just subtly changes, the
- 57:39aesthetic, the vibe, the tone of the show.
- 57:43We're like, yeah, we could do it where it takes a few weeks to
- 57:46like, a more realistic gritty approach and that would totally
- 57:49change the tone where I think what the tone that we have now
- 57:52is a lot more jovial and like it's almost like you're watching
- 57:56a like an anime, right? We're like heightened and fun.
- 58:01So Mmm. Yeah.
- 58:05Okay, so now we're going to jump into some fun lightning round
- 58:12questions. Okay.
- 58:14And patreon question from Pirate rabbit Sim, what's everyone's
- 58:17favorite vending machine location?
- 58:21The one at the bar, what's the crews brunch orders?
- 58:30This is from go, go low, low stream, brunch orders.
- 58:34My favorite vending machine, that's a wheatgrass shots.
- 58:37Yeah, mine was biotech, exil'd race.
- 58:42Hard-boiled, eggs and chili. Benedict's straight up Ash
- 58:48Browns on side. This is mrs.
- 58:50Jeb's order, right? I guess not - I guess yeah, the
- 58:56entire life. So favorite recurring bit from
- 59:02swirly ink. Any recurring bits that are your
- 59:05favorite don't trust jab. Yeah, sound effects.
- 59:11Yeah, yeah. Steve.
- 59:20But Steve's here, these are good.
- 59:23The siccolas asks, what are some of your favorite quotes?
- 59:27Any any quotes? I like that.
- 59:29There's always a one lot, like some sort of great role for
- 59:31bureaucracy. Okay.
- 59:33Okay. They go.
- 59:34That's a good one. A good one.
- 59:35That's one of my faves. And and do not get arisaka
- 59:43Prime. Yes.
- 59:47I feel like all of our buttons are pretty gold.
- 59:49So we went really hard enough buttons.
- 59:51It's kind of silly I mean, okay, hold on, don't listen to him.
- 59:54We do not work very hard on our buttons.
- 59:56They just they just happened and sometimes they're great.
- 59:59And sometimes you want to every website for my cost is
- 1:00:02fantastic. Listen to spoon.
- 1:00:05How much money do y'all have? At the end of the season?
- 1:00:08Oh, exactly. Know how much money he has.
- 1:00:12He just knows it. I've lost money since then, I
- 1:00:21can't. But like, we're 15,000 Eddie's.
- 1:00:24I can't, unfortunately tell because I have quite a bit of
- 1:00:28funds in the stock market, and in some single bonds.
- 1:00:33So sad, sad. So no question.
- 1:00:39R.i.p., Sano says Google a stream.
- 1:00:42Does he have a drink named after him at the bar?
- 1:00:44If so, what's in it? It's the straight edge.
- 1:00:48It's very nice and I think it's helping.
- 1:00:51I think it's hot sake. Hmm, that's the main species.
- 1:00:57Do you think we think, Kendall good.
- 1:00:59Would you add anything to that? Hmm, now, that sounds right.
- 1:01:04Yeah, maybe some mint mint. I'm not have to be a cocktail
- 1:01:08real ants. Spiders.
- 1:01:10Hot tea. So I gotta like a splash of
- 1:01:14Tabasco in it. Yeah, yes.
- 1:01:16Bronx. Like smash has Remy thought of a
- 1:01:19new brain case? A little less bulky and modern,
- 1:01:22oh, I kind of like that, what? No, you're not.
- 1:01:46Does Iona know if Jeb will ever get over his cannibalism with B
- 1:01:50body fuel to see, have you not listened to season one?
- 1:02:01That was right. Yeah, Jeb is not a cannibal by
- 1:02:05choice. Let's go sometimes to get hungry
- 1:02:10the effects. Do not go away.
- 1:02:12Jeb chose to do something to Jose.
- 1:02:15To take it. Didn't he?
- 1:02:16Dug. And that turned him into a
- 1:02:20unwilling Hannibal? That was an excuse.
- 1:02:22Okay. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:02:25You'll be fine. You'll be fine.
- 1:02:29It should fade. It's true.
- 1:02:31It will fade eventually kind of, I don't know.
- 1:02:33I just get that. We haven't got that far.
- 1:02:36This this last question from Bronx.
- 1:02:39Mash I like, well, well, I don't know, we'll see.
- 1:02:42We'll find every Dragon call me this little cowpoke and Vandals
- 1:02:45voice. If we meet in person, Okay, one
- 1:02:57last question. Well, we'll do like two more
- 1:03:00questions. So this again more an honor of
- 1:03:04Sano any favorite memories for Sano and he just rapid-fire Sano
- 1:03:11memories. There was, it's like the first
- 1:03:15time that Sano and Iona are alone.
- 1:03:19And we're having a conversation like really close face-to-face
- 1:03:24City, sitting down and chairs in like the upstairs of no latency.
- 1:03:29And we're just talking about taking down arisaka.
- 1:03:33And I think that I really took Sano by surprise by, you know,
- 1:03:38letting him know that I was on his side even though I'm a blood
- 1:03:42sucking corpo and it like It was just so beautiful and it's my
- 1:03:51favorite moment with Sano. I do with you, too.
- 1:03:57I mean, I have a couple. Most of them are usually in Sana
- 1:04:03and retro show, which I don't know if all of them have been
- 1:04:06released. So I don't want to let the
- 1:04:08surprise list. I think my favorite one again
- 1:04:11was in the very beginning when because me and Kendall, I've
- 1:04:17been friends for quite a while since college.
- 1:04:21And we kind of had discussed that Kendall's character was
- 1:04:25going to be technophobic and we do now Not like me because my
- 1:04:28television had, right? And when we were in the van and
- 1:04:32just snarking on each other, on on dumbest things, there was a
- 1:04:38literal Point internally when we were playing like I hope he
- 1:04:42doesn't really, he's not really mad at me because this field
- 1:04:45jacket. It was like, I really thought
- 1:04:47that checked the do good with very very mad at me.
- 1:04:54Oh yeah, it was fun to Baker. Lots of bickering, that's fun.
- 1:04:59So last question, very less now that we're just about at the,
- 1:05:03our Mark, for our little Q&A. So the last question I'll ask is
- 1:05:07now that Sano is gone or a piece on oh herb.
- 1:05:11So what are you all going to do for a new player?
- 1:05:16Or what's what's the next steps? Oh shit.
- 1:05:21I don't know. You want to do.
- 1:05:24Me. Yes, thank you everybody for
- 1:05:43these awesome questions. I almost got through all of them
- 1:05:45in an hour, so thank you. So many great questions will be
- 1:05:50back for season 2 and maybe I'll beat Joining This Crew.
- 1:05:54Maybe, yes, I am there's no. Listen cool, stop here.
- 1:06:23Great. Thanks for bringing centers
- 1:06:25history, talking about. Thanks for having me super fun.
- 1:06:30All right, I'm sure we all just awkwardly wave, goodbye to our
- 1:06:32cameras for a bit. Yeah everybody.
