- 0:15Speaker 1: million buck things in its true good to mother. Please
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join join me. You gotta turn you're going.
- 1:22Speaker 1: You gotta turn to turn them out. Turn. You haven't
- 1:43Speaker 1: got to turn them out to turn the water. The
- 1:47Speaker 1: water got me? Come come on your tha h huh,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I shall will. Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice,
- 2:07Speaker 1: come off, DIGNI now wanting only Steve Harvey Man got
- 2:10Speaker 1: a radio show? Wow? Man? How good has God been
- 2:14Speaker 1: to me? You know? Today? Let me get right to
- 2:16Speaker 1: it because I'm I'm kind of feeling this today, and
- 2:19Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure that's just quite a few of you
- 2:22Speaker 1: who go through the same things today. Today was just
- 2:27Speaker 1: a little tough morning for me because I didn't want
- 2:30Speaker 1: to leave home yesterday. You know, I wanted to stay
- 2:33Speaker 1: home a little. I'd just gotten home, you know, I
- 2:36Speaker 1: gotta go again. And sometimes, you know, just the weight
- 2:39Speaker 1: of all that you have to do just gets on
- 2:42Speaker 1: you sometimes and sometimes you don't feel like doing it today. Huh.
- 2:48Speaker 1: You know, I'm just talking to those who feel this
- 2:51Speaker 1: way every now and then, and I'm assuming that would
- 2:54Speaker 1: be everybody, because I don't know nobody who can just
- 2:57Speaker 1: ply through this thing without having those days. Well, what
- 3:00Speaker 1: do you do when it gets hard to stay up?
- 3:05Speaker 1: What do you do when it gets hard to be positive?
- 3:10Speaker 1: What do you do when it seems like things aren't
- 3:12Speaker 1: happening for you fast enough or in the time frame
- 3:16Speaker 1: that you thought it was going. What do you do?
- 3:19Speaker 1: And the reason that I guess I chose to speak
- 3:22Speaker 1: about this this morning is because I'm having one of
- 3:25Speaker 1: those days. Because I had one of those days yesterday.
- 3:28Speaker 1: It's just a tough day. I really can't explain. It's
- 3:30Speaker 1: nothing really in particular bad happened. It's just I think
- 3:37Speaker 1: the weight of all that's going on started to feel
- 3:43Speaker 1: heavy to me. And so what do you do when
- 3:49Speaker 1: when you have days like that, when it's hard to
- 3:50Speaker 1: be positive, when it's hard to stay up? Okay, here's
- 3:54Speaker 1: what I had to start doing this morning. Now I
- 3:56Speaker 1: haven't completed it. Can I just be real? I haven't
- 4:00Speaker 1: completed it, but I am processing it out because I
- 4:05Speaker 1: know what to do. You know, been there, done that,
- 4:08Speaker 1: I didn't had that pain before. I know what to do.
- 4:10Speaker 1: You know, if I sprain my finger. I know what
- 4:12Speaker 1: to do now. You know the first sprain I had,
- 4:14Speaker 1: O Lord, I thought it was broke. I thought I
- 4:16Speaker 1: got me handac half. But now if I spray my finger,
- 4:19Speaker 1: I know what to do. So since I've been in
- 4:21Speaker 1: this position, in this hole so many times before, and
- 4:25Speaker 1: God has always gotten me through it, I decided I've
- 4:28Speaker 1: got to start the process today. Want to hear are
- 4:31Speaker 1: some things Now, I'm gonna get to the big one last.
- 4:36Speaker 1: And one of the things I do is I remember
- 4:40Speaker 1: the plan, sit down, and I consciously think about the
- 4:45Speaker 1: goals I've set. I go over them. See, I've got
- 4:48Speaker 1: mine down on an iPad so I can pull them
- 4:50Speaker 1: out anywhere I am and pull them up. And I've
- 4:53Speaker 1: got two lists that I've made. I've got a list
- 4:56Speaker 1: of things that I know I can accomplish if I
- 4:59Speaker 1: just keep working and hard, and if some couple of
- 5:02Speaker 1: things just fall into place that I can see. Then
- 5:06Speaker 1: I got a list of things that I'm planning on accomplishing.
- 5:09Speaker 1: And then I have a second list. And the heading
- 5:12Speaker 1: of this list is called only God can help me now.
- 5:16Speaker 1: And on this list it's things that I'm aspiring for
- 5:21Speaker 1: or things that I'm hoping to that in order for
- 5:23Speaker 1: them to happen, I absolutely have to have God's help.
- 5:29Speaker 1: That's my favorite list. It's the list that I have
- 5:34Speaker 1: of the things that I don't see no way it
- 5:37Speaker 1: can happen. I'm just operating on faith and the hope
- 5:42Speaker 1: that God hear me, and so sometimes, man, when you
- 5:46Speaker 1: gotta when I have this list of who only God
- 5:50Speaker 1: can help me, now that list is stuff that I
- 5:53Speaker 1: cannot see. I'm just operating on faith that God is
- 5:57Speaker 1: so much bigger than me, that he's much more capable
- 6:01Speaker 1: than I am, that I can actually acquire some things
- 6:04Speaker 1: in my life, as he's proven to me time and
- 6:07Speaker 1: time again up to this point, that he's willing to
- 6:09Speaker 1: do for me. If I'm willing to just give him
- 6:12Speaker 1: some of my life. That's the only way I can't
- 6:14Speaker 1: explain my existence today. You know, I began the conversation
- 6:19Speaker 1: with my wife, how do I write a book that
- 6:21Speaker 1: becomes so wildly successful? That would be God. That's only God.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Because if you can plan to sit down and write
- 6:30Speaker 1: a wildly successful book, I'd have Benden sat down and
- 6:33Speaker 1: did it, and so would you, So that would be God.
- 6:37Speaker 1: How it got purchased to become a movie when that
- 6:41Speaker 1: was not my intent when I wrote the book at all. Again,
- 6:45Speaker 1: that would be God, right, there has to be, because
- 6:49Speaker 1: if I can't explain it and it is by no
- 6:52Speaker 1: doing of my own, then who did it? So when
- 6:55Speaker 1: I get down in days like this, I remember the goal.
- 6:58Speaker 1: I remember the plan. I remember the journey. I think
- 7:02Speaker 1: about of all the things God has bought me to
- 7:04Speaker 1: how did I even get to this point. Yeah. I
- 7:06Speaker 1: might be having a little bummer of a day. Yeah
- 7:09Speaker 1: I was a little down yesterday. Yeah, my bio rhythms
- 7:12Speaker 1: is off, whatever they want to call it. Yeah, I'm
- 7:14Speaker 1: just having one of those days. I feel a little
- 7:16Speaker 1: bit heavy. I need a vacation real bad. I need
- 7:19Speaker 1: some time off to just go and regenerate. But right now, man,
- 7:23Speaker 1: I ain't got that. So guess what I do. I
- 7:26Speaker 1: gotta start remembering the plan. I gotta start remembering the goals.
- 7:29Speaker 1: I gotta start thinking about all the things that God
- 7:32Speaker 1: has done for me and how He has bought me
- 7:34Speaker 1: this far, and the blessings that I have instead of
- 7:37Speaker 1: what I don't have. And that's what I'm in the
- 7:39Speaker 1: process of doing this morning. And on the commercial breaks,
- 7:42Speaker 1: I'm gonna pull out my iPad and I'm gonna go
- 7:44Speaker 1: over my two lists, and I'm gonna read my little
- 7:47Speaker 1: list of what I think I can accomplish, and I'm
- 7:49Speaker 1: gonna really read that only God can help Me Now list,
- 7:52Speaker 1: because that's the list that's big. That's the part where
- 7:54Speaker 1: I've been telling y'all. I said, quit telling God how
- 7:58Speaker 1: big your problems are. Start telling your problems how big
- 8:02Speaker 1: your God is. See. And that's why I got to
- 8:04Speaker 1: sit down to do this morning. And then sometimes, man,
- 8:07Speaker 1: you got to stay still. That's the other part. You
- 8:12Speaker 1: got to stay still. You gotta quit moving for a
- 8:15Speaker 1: second because sometimes it feel like you're running on a
- 8:19Speaker 1: treadmill and you really ain't you going somewhere, but it
- 8:22Speaker 1: feel like you're running on a treadmill. Well, when you
- 8:25Speaker 1: get that feeling, sometimes you gotta stay still. And then
- 8:29Speaker 1: when you stay still, sometimes you gotta fight to stay positive.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Sometimes you gotta fight not to let the devil win.
- 8:35Speaker 1: You're in a fight, mam. I told you this. Now
- 8:37Speaker 1: you're in a fight now, so to trying to get
- 8:39Speaker 1: you to get on that positive train so he can
- 8:41Speaker 1: get you off the faith train. So God's delivery package
- 8:45Speaker 1: that's coming to you built on your faith that you can.
- 8:47Speaker 1: He can shake your faith and get you to thinking
- 8:49Speaker 1: negative and then he wins. See. So when you start
- 8:52Speaker 1: feeling negative, just know that that's the other force trying
- 8:55Speaker 1: to throw you off track. And when you get through
- 8:57Speaker 1: it all that here is the key, the big When
- 8:59Speaker 1: you want me tell it to you, you gots to pray, man,
- 9:02Speaker 1: You got to pray. You gotta take it to God.
- 9:05Speaker 1: You gotta say, hey, God, look I'm having one of
- 9:07Speaker 1: these days. I need your help. I got business to
- 9:10Speaker 1: take care of. You got blessings in front of me.
- 9:12Speaker 1: You got stuff you to ship to me. You got
- 9:14Speaker 1: blessings and packages that's on the way. I need to
- 9:16Speaker 1: be sitting on Faith streets so I can receive the
- 9:19Speaker 1: delivery when you get there. What I don't want to
- 9:21Speaker 1: do is be it on be on doubted Way or
- 9:25Speaker 1: or lack of Understanding Parkway, or Pity Parkway or some
- 9:30Speaker 1: street like that, and the package keep going by. I
- 9:34Speaker 1: need to be standing and sitting on Faith Street so
- 9:36Speaker 1: when you drop that package down to me, I can
- 9:39Speaker 1: go on and get it. You feel me. You got
- 9:41Speaker 1: to pray. You got to stay still, you gotta fight
- 9:44Speaker 1: to stay positive. You gotta remember the plan. You gotta
- 9:47Speaker 1: go over the goals. Come on, man, God and brought
- 9:50Speaker 1: you too far, Come on, pick yourself up today. I'm
- 9:53Speaker 1: talking to Steve Harvey this morning. Hope y'all didn't mind.
- 9:56Speaker 1: You're listening, ladies and gentlemen, to Steve Harvey, Martin Shore.
- 10:03Speaker 1: It's about to pop off. Now. Let me say this,
- 10:06Speaker 1: what a great day it is to be alive. What
- 10:08Speaker 1: a great day it is to be grateful. We are
- 10:11Speaker 1: all both of those. You're definitely alive. All you need
- 10:15Speaker 1: to do is plug into gratitude thoughts and let's get
- 10:19Speaker 1: this thing started. Man, what this means is we've all
- 10:23Speaker 1: lived to see another Easter. Thank you Lord for that.
- 10:28Speaker 1: Everybody survived another Easter. Everybody got another day under day belt.
- 10:33Speaker 1: I mean, what how about that? Ladies and gentlemen. Sherley Strawberry,
- 10:38Speaker 1: Colin Farrell, Mississippi Monica kill Spates called him junior and
- 10:44Speaker 1: the legend that is nephew Tommy yours truly, junior. What's
- 10:49Speaker 1: on your mind? You know? You know? Easter world Sunday Man.
- 10:53Speaker 1: How was Easter when you was growing up? Like? How
- 10:55Speaker 1: when did it start? And when did it ed? Seeing
- 11:00Speaker 1: Easter was a wonderful experience until Sunday night. Sunday night
- 11:08Speaker 1: was the Easter play and Easter speeches. Everything was good
- 11:13Speaker 1: up until the end. East was one of my favorite holidays.
- 11:17Speaker 1: We got a new suit. I got a new suit
- 11:20Speaker 1: East each Easter. My favorite suit was created by seers
- 11:25Speaker 1: called a ten in one. It had a vest, a
- 11:29Speaker 1: jacket and pants and all three pieces was reversible. Boy boy,
- 11:36Speaker 1: I wanted one of them with everything in me and
- 11:42Speaker 1: boy a little blue cheese was real creative back then.
- 11:46Speaker 1: Our wedding pants inside out. And I don't know if
- 11:49Speaker 1: you've ever worn reversible pants, but they ain't the best.
- 11:52Speaker 1: Ain't the best built one side the zipper works perfect. Yeah,
- 11:58Speaker 1: the other side you have to work with the zipper
- 12:03Speaker 1: and uh trouble for a boy because you know you
- 12:07Speaker 1: wait to the last minute to go to the bathroom
- 12:10Speaker 1: and situation you see me trying to figure out how
- 12:15Speaker 1: to pee over them pants or down through the pants
- 12:19Speaker 1: league because I couldn't get that and they either one
- 12:22Speaker 1: of them things possible. But in your little dumb ass,
- 12:25Speaker 1: young man, you're trying to work that out. Yeah, it
- 12:29Speaker 1: was a beautiful day. Palm Sunday. I liked Palm Sunday
- 12:33Speaker 1: because we used to weed to had a whip contest
- 12:36Speaker 1: because we used to beat each other with the palms,
- 12:40Speaker 1: and that's what Palm Sunday was us. So I wanted
- 12:43Speaker 1: to I stood in line. I used to go around
- 12:44Speaker 1: and get my palm back because I need a longer
- 12:46Speaker 1: palm because uh Paul, walking to them them them boys
- 12:50Speaker 1: was fast, so I had to have a longer whip
- 12:52Speaker 1: so I could get their ass on their way out
- 12:55Speaker 1: from getting me. And that was pretty much Easter wards,
- 12:59Speaker 1: and then it was down for Easter speech. In the
- 13:01Speaker 1: years that I studied, it was a nightmare. I took
- 13:04Speaker 1: so long to do. They rolled the stone away. I
- 13:08Speaker 1: did to roll the stone away speech one Easter that
- 13:11Speaker 1: took all up fifteen minutes. And the following Easter, Sister
- 13:16Speaker 1: Merrildine gave me just Jesus well, and that was that
- 13:22Speaker 1: was thirty seconds because Jesus started with a jay. Never
- 13:26Speaker 1: get a person of jay that stutter jay s and
- 13:30Speaker 1: Peter to be up in there for a minute, got
- 13:34Speaker 1: it all right, coming up at thirty two minutes after
- 13:38Speaker 1: the hour, we're gonna start off the show. And never
- 13:40Speaker 1: you tell me to run that prank back right after this,
- 13:43Speaker 1: you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, it is
- 13:47Speaker 1: time now to start your morning off with run that
- 13:50Speaker 1: prank back in the nephew, what you got Now we're
- 13:52Speaker 1: going to the lecture company. Charlet. That's that aqua booget current.
- 13:56Speaker 1: Let's go, cad Don Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach
- 14:00Speaker 1: a Quincy. Please. This is Hey. How are you? My
- 14:04Speaker 1: name is Maurice. Maurice calling you from the power company.
- 14:07Speaker 1: How are you doing today? I'm all right? What's up? Well, listen,
- 14:10Speaker 1: we're doing some testing in your neighborhood. We're trying to
- 14:12Speaker 1: make sure we don't have to actually shut the power
- 14:15Speaker 1: down out there. And uh, we're calling around quite a
- 14:19Speaker 1: few people in your neighborhood, running some tests on individual
- 14:22Speaker 1: homes and making sure the electricity is running correctly. Um,
- 14:25Speaker 1: can I get you to do a few things swarm
- 14:27Speaker 1: and see and the quicker we get through with this, sir,
- 14:30Speaker 1: and as possibility, we won't have to turn your power
- 14:32Speaker 1: off at all. I know you don't want us to
- 14:34Speaker 1: have to come out and turn power off. And you
- 14:36Speaker 1: got stuff in your refrigerator that can spoil and things
- 14:39Speaker 1: like that, so we want to try to get this done,
- 14:41Speaker 1: and hopefully the power with the with the test that
- 14:43Speaker 1: we run, it'll it'll run correctly. We won't have to
- 14:45Speaker 1: do anything. Okay about electricity though, you know what I'm saying,
- 14:48Speaker 1: So no, no no, no, I understand that. Don't worry about that.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Here's what I need you to do. Now. How big
- 14:53Speaker 1: is your house? Do you have many bedrooms? You got
- 14:55Speaker 1: four bedrooms? Now you have upstairs downstairs to store? Okay,
- 15:01Speaker 1: all right, so here's what we need to do. Um
- 15:03Speaker 1: if you can't, ain't gonna take loan though, right, I
- 15:06Speaker 1: gotta ease. I'm in the hurry and then ain't gonna
- 15:07Speaker 1: have a lot of time. No, no, no, this this this, this,
- 15:10Speaker 1: this won't take long at all. So can I get
- 15:12Speaker 1: you to take your breaker and shut down everything upstairs
- 15:16Speaker 1: and we're gonna run a test on the stuff downstairs
- 15:18Speaker 1: right now. It'll be real quick, all right, just shut you,
- 15:21Speaker 1: just shut everything off. I want you to keep the
- 15:22Speaker 1: downstairs open and keep that to the weekness so we
- 15:25Speaker 1: can run our tests on this thing. All right, everything's shut,
- 15:28Speaker 1: everything's down. Okay, you you turned off the thing. I
- 15:31Speaker 1: just turned off all the switches. Okay, I need you
- 15:34Speaker 1: to turn on your television and then turn it off downstairs.
- 15:38Speaker 1: How many TVs you got downstairs? I got two TVs downstairs.
- 15:42Speaker 1: Let's turn them both on. You just turn them on,
- 15:45Speaker 1: Just turn them on. You got them on? I got
- 15:47Speaker 1: one on. Let's try to turn that other one on.
- 15:49Speaker 1: All right, they both on? Okay. Now, you got a
- 15:52Speaker 1: microwave in your kitchen? Yeah, I got a microwave. Okay,
- 15:55Speaker 1: turn that on. It's already on, man, I can see
- 15:57Speaker 1: the lights. One, it's got the clock on it. That's
- 15:59Speaker 1: got that dubhn thing that's going through there. It's a
- 16:01Speaker 1: whole different type of current. I just want to down
- 16:03Speaker 1: on number what you're talking about. But I gotta get
- 16:05Speaker 1: to work, man. So the microwaves on, it's running. No, No,
- 16:08Speaker 1: I want you to actually turn it on. I want
- 16:10Speaker 1: you to actually push like a minute or two on
- 16:12Speaker 1: that thing. Anything, Man, Come on now, I mean, what
- 16:15Speaker 1: do you gotta do? No, this is a test, sir.
- 16:17Speaker 1: What I don't want to have to do is come
- 16:18Speaker 1: out there and turn your power off. And I don't
- 16:20Speaker 1: want to do that. You got a lot of food
- 16:21Speaker 1: in your fridge. I'm sure right, all right, he's look
- 16:24Speaker 1: it's on. Microwaves zon TV zons. Okay, Now open your refrige. Man,
- 16:30Speaker 1: the electricity works downstairs. Okay, but listen now, I know,
- 16:33Speaker 1: but what we gotta do is we gotta make sure
- 16:35Speaker 1: that this stuff isn't overpower. Now, can you open your refrigerator? Yeah? Yeah, man,
- 16:40Speaker 1: do you see the button? You can push it in
- 16:43Speaker 1: the lighter go out. You know what I'm talking about.
- 16:45Speaker 1: Come on, man, you ain't got nobody to just be
- 16:47Speaker 1: able to check something outside. Man, I mean I'm in
- 16:50Speaker 1: the fridge. I understand. But push that button five times
- 16:53Speaker 1: for him and see what it does. What the light button? Yeah,
- 16:57Speaker 1: push that light button five times? Come on, man, it
- 17:00Speaker 1: did it go off and on? Everything? It's goping on?
- 17:02Speaker 1: Man's actually they ended wrong with the refriciate. Reficiate. It
- 17:05Speaker 1: is plugged then, man, okay, Now here's what I want
- 17:08Speaker 1: you to do. Right there, and you're in the kitchen,
- 17:10Speaker 1: turn your slink on for me. Turn sink on electricity.
- 17:14Speaker 1: Many say that's a nitural current. That's a nitural current.
- 17:16Speaker 1: You wouldn't understand that. But I need you to turn
- 17:18Speaker 1: that on for me too. Just turn it on full blast,
- 17:23Speaker 1: got it on, I got it on. Okay, Now go
- 17:26Speaker 1: in your master bedroom. I can set it off. Now,
- 17:28Speaker 1: let that water run, go on your master bedroom and
- 17:31Speaker 1: go on the bath for me. I appreciate you helping
- 17:34Speaker 1: me out on this, man. Come on, man, Quincy, I
- 17:36Speaker 1: appreciate it. I mean everything. It's everything I'm in. I'm
- 17:39Speaker 1: in the bath. Plush that toilet for me, Quincy, see
- 17:42Speaker 1: where plus that toilet for me. Plush the toilet. Yeah,
- 17:45Speaker 1: plush that toilet. It isn't even electrical what it is.
- 17:48Speaker 1: It's a it's a it's an awkward book and heard
- 17:50Speaker 1: you need to get somebody up. Okay, I'm gonna plush
- 17:53Speaker 1: the toilet. It ain't no electrical plugs in that in
- 17:55Speaker 1: this area, man, right. I understand that you don't see
- 17:57Speaker 1: what it is. This is an awkward booky current that
- 18:00Speaker 1: through that water. Plus that thing for me one time? Yeah, yeah,
- 18:07Speaker 1: that's it. Okay, all right Toiley works. Man. You ain't
- 18:11Speaker 1: got nobody in the area to come out here and
- 18:13Speaker 1: just check this out. Man, Quinny, I'm trying my best
- 18:16Speaker 1: not to come out and and and and and turn
- 18:18Speaker 1: your power off. And I know you got someone to
- 18:20Speaker 1: go turn my power off. Man, you're supposed to be
- 18:22Speaker 1: making sure the power of stay on, Quinny, do you
- 18:24Speaker 1: have a blender. Yeah, I gotta blender, man, I gotta blender.
- 18:27Speaker 1: I got a TV, I got a refrigerator, and they
- 18:30Speaker 1: all worked. The toilet works, everything worked, all right. What

- 21:37Speaker 1: Officer Steve Harvey in the building, ready for your love questions.
- 21:41Speaker 1: This one is from Tony and Minnesota. Tony Rights. I'm
- 21:45Speaker 1: forty four and I've been divorced twice. Both marriages ended
- 21:49Speaker 1: because my husband's cheated on me. When I meet guys,
- 21:53Speaker 1: they joke about it being my fault and say that
- 21:56Speaker 1: I can't keep a man. I hate that. I hate
- 21:59Speaker 1: that I'm being judge from my ex husbands being trifling.
- 22:02Speaker 1: How do I address my past when I meet men?
- 22:05Speaker 1: Do I not mention it at all? First of all,
- 22:08Speaker 1: stop allowing people to hold you till your past. Yeah,
- 22:12Speaker 1: don't do that. See I used to make that mistake too.
- 22:15Speaker 1: I used to let people I remember you when you
- 22:18Speaker 1: so you oh oh yeah, oh you spiritual. Now I
- 22:22Speaker 1: remember when you Yeah, I remember all that too. But
- 22:24Speaker 1: this is who I am. Now. Stop letting people hold
- 22:27Speaker 1: you to your past. You know you had two trifling husbands.
- 22:31Speaker 1: It can happen. It happens all the time, that, oh
- 22:37Speaker 1: you can't keep a man. No, I've made a mistake
- 22:41Speaker 1: picking men, and with you going at it this rate,
- 22:44Speaker 1: you're gonna help me not make a third mistake. Thank
- 22:47Speaker 1: you very much. Bye. And it's not you that can't
- 22:51Speaker 1: keep a man. It's just that the men you selected
- 22:55Speaker 1: have been inadequate. And that's all it is. And move on.
- 22:58Speaker 1: And you don't have to you don't have to address
- 22:59Speaker 1: no nothing. So you just ask any man that brings
- 23:02Speaker 1: it up. Hey, look, you want to talk about them
- 23:04Speaker 1: or you want to talk about us. You decide, you
- 23:08Speaker 1: decide you in my face, I'm pretty sure you didn't
- 23:11Speaker 1: have somebody too. Yeah, she's forty four. All right, thank
- 23:16Speaker 1: you for that, Cello. Moving on to Beth and Florida.
- 23:19Speaker 1: Bethright to, My husband doesn't communicate effectively. So I started
- 23:22Speaker 1: snooping around and I'm shocked at what I discovered. I
- 23:26Speaker 1: found a performing enhancing drug in his work bag, and
- 23:30Speaker 1: he said he was ashamed to tell me that we
- 23:33Speaker 1: need it? Why keep this from me? You ain't got
- 23:37Speaker 1: to know all that. Well, see he ain't been keeping
- 23:41Speaker 1: it from you. You've been getting it. Oh you've been
- 23:49Speaker 1: getting it to her standard. Yeah, he ain't got to
- 23:52Speaker 1: tell you that. You know, he was ashamed to tell you.
- 23:55Speaker 1: So what you know, he just trying to make things happen.
- 23:59Speaker 1: You know, that's all. You're reading too much into it. Well,
- 24:04Speaker 1: what do you think she's reading into it? She's she's well,
- 24:08Speaker 1: first of all, the only thing she could be reading
- 24:10Speaker 1: into it it is why does he need this? Because
- 24:13Speaker 1: he's suffering from a very common problem, and so he
- 24:18Speaker 1: get he wouldn't got itself some help. Now you found
- 24:22Speaker 1: it in his bag, and you know what, you can
- 24:24Speaker 1: have it in your bag. Your call, all right? Beth
- 24:28Speaker 1: and Florida. Moving on to Mallory in Bastrip, Mallory says,
- 24:32Speaker 1: I let my sister borrow a wig to attend a
- 24:35Speaker 1: church banquet. She got my wig cut into a bob
- 24:39Speaker 1: and dyed it black without asking me first. I'm down
- 24:43Speaker 1: one good wig. I know the horror of it all.
- 24:46Speaker 1: I'm down one good wig and she refuses to pay
- 24:50Speaker 1: me my two hundred and fifty dollars. Should I embarrass
- 24:54Speaker 1: her on Facebook or whoop her behind? No? I think
- 25:01Speaker 1: that answers him to be better. But I really don't
- 25:04Speaker 1: see what you're fighting by the wig fall. Have you
- 25:07Speaker 1: tried the bob on though? Because it might be cold?
- 25:11Speaker 1: Six might sis might know something You need to try.
- 25:14Speaker 1: A bob on your face might not be shaped right.
- 25:17Speaker 1: It might be an inch too short, and it's gonna
- 25:20Speaker 1: look like a bowl haircut sitting on you. But that
- 25:22Speaker 1: bob might be cute though. You might want to just
- 25:25Speaker 1: try it on. But if your sister, yeah, your sister
- 25:28Speaker 1: was wrong, but you're not gonna She ain't gonna pay
- 25:30Speaker 1: you to two fifty. She put the wig on. Ain't
- 25:33Speaker 1: really like it? You know, it's two down, one good
- 25:37Speaker 1: wig and who ball wigs? Yes, even if it's your sister,
- 25:46Speaker 1: like somebody coming over the house. Dog, you got some
- 25:49Speaker 1: extra draws? Is it really the same? Well, if I
- 25:54Speaker 1: get them down, you ain't got worried about that dog.
- 25:56Speaker 1: And first of all, can I borrow something? Yeah? I
- 26:00Speaker 1: ain't got no brand new ones just in there so
- 26:02Speaker 1: they have been worn. And once she wearing trust and believe,
- 26:06Speaker 1: I don't want it back. Man, I had to give
- 26:08Speaker 1: a due la pass swimming trump for one time. He
- 26:10Speaker 1: didn't have nine games or then he gonna bring them back.
- 26:13Speaker 1: I said, Oh no, doncan yours? Oh no, man, no, no,
- 26:18Speaker 1: I can't keep these man these good man nice man. No, No,
- 26:22Speaker 1: then yours. Isn't that the story of Oprah and Gail?
- 26:27Speaker 1: How they got together? Draw But yeah, yeah, it's something
- 26:32Speaker 1: like that. Yeah, look it up. How they how they
- 26:34Speaker 1: became best friends. It was either Oprah spending the night
- 26:37Speaker 1: at Gail's house or Gail spending the night anyway. The
- 26:40Speaker 1: next day she didn't have any She needed some underwear,
- 26:43Speaker 1: and one of them let the other one a pair
- 26:45Speaker 1: of underwear probably gay. Yeah, well, I mean anyway, she
- 26:51Speaker 1: gave it to her. She gave the underwear to her,
- 26:54Speaker 1: and the story was if you can lend a person
- 26:57Speaker 1: who if you can lend a person your underwear, if
- 27:00Speaker 1: someone your underwear like that, then you're destined to be
- 27:03Speaker 1: best friends. But yeah, that's a truth you didn't have.
- 27:05Speaker 1: You couldn't have no more questions for the CLO. Yeah,
- 27:08Speaker 1: I have some more, but we were talking about borrowing
- 27:10Speaker 1: and lending and it made me think of that. One.
- 27:13Speaker 1: Last one is Shane and you asked me to tell it.
- 27:15Speaker 1: Shane and DC if I had, I wish I had
- 27:24Speaker 1: you brought up the underwear. Anyway, it was about wigs.
- 27:27Speaker 1: Shane and DC says, I'm a thirty seven year old
- 27:30Speaker 1: married man and my wife and I were out recently
- 27:33Speaker 1: and I saw a side piece from ten years ago
- 27:36Speaker 1: who I slept with right before I got married. She
- 27:39Speaker 1: introduced her son, who looked to me about ten years old,
- 27:42Speaker 1: and he sort of looked like me. So I'm worried.
- 27:47Speaker 1: Should I call and ask her about this boy or not?
- 27:53Speaker 1: Bus boy? Why are you a business mane? Um, Well,
- 28:01Speaker 1: I don't want to know if that's his son. I
- 28:04Speaker 1: think it's noble of you to want to know if
- 28:06Speaker 1: that's your son. Yeah, um, I would go ahead and
- 28:10Speaker 1: make the phone call, because they're gone about your business.
- 28:15Speaker 1: Ain't in the best And if it is yours, you
- 28:20Speaker 1: should know and you should get over there and be
- 28:23Speaker 1: busy taking care of man gone about your business like
- 28:30Speaker 1: you left your ATM called ten years ago of her house.
- 28:34Speaker 1: Man is a baby, all right, going about your business.
- 28:40Speaker 1: Man over there, man just like you. So damn what?

- 29:37Speaker 1: late last week, we heard about Rihanna and Asap Rocky.
- 29:40Speaker 1: We heard that they were breaking up, but we've since
- 29:42Speaker 1: learned that that was just a rumor. Okay, both re
- 29:46Speaker 1: Re and Asap. We're trending topics over allegations that he
- 29:50Speaker 1: cheated on her. Enter the woman who he supposedly hooked
- 29:54Speaker 1: up with, Amita Muadi, who popped up to squash those rumors,
- 29:58Speaker 1: calling the story an found it lie. She said she
- 30:01Speaker 1: normally doesn't respond to stuff like this because it only
- 30:03Speaker 1: gives it life, but she had to respond to this one.
- 30:06Speaker 1: She said, it's an unfounded lie. Re Re and Asap
- 30:09Speaker 1: were spotted in an airport in Barbados on Friday, and
- 30:13Speaker 1: of course we all know Rihanna is expecting her first
- 30:16Speaker 1: child with Asap. Rocky or the guy who started the
- 30:19Speaker 1: rumor about Rere and Asap. Some fashion writer has issued
- 30:24Speaker 1: an apology after receiving much backlash. The clouds. Yeah, I
- 30:30Speaker 1: mean streets were talking to see his ass need to
- 30:35Speaker 1: be suspended or something. That's what I'd be talking about. Man,
- 30:38Speaker 1: You could you attack these famous people with false, untrue
- 30:42Speaker 1: information and then you get to issue apology and walk away.
- 30:46Speaker 1: You sue these celebrities for stuff they didn't do. Then
- 30:49Speaker 1: when they found this unfounded. Then you get to skip. Oh,
- 30:52Speaker 1: I didn't get no money, I walk away. That should
- 30:54Speaker 1: be a penalty for people who try to take advantage
- 30:58Speaker 1: of people's position in life to further theirs and Nila,
- 31:02Speaker 1: when they don't work out, you get to walk away
- 31:05Speaker 1: to spin his ass man. Had a celebrity done something
- 31:08Speaker 1: like that, something would have to happen to him. That'd
- 31:11Speaker 1: be a cancelation culture. You guys start some got started
- 31:14Speaker 1: happening to people that try to do damages. Yeah, I
- 31:18Speaker 1: mean everybody was talking about that. He issued an apology.
- 31:22Speaker 1: What you're tailing lifeful? Yeah? Did you not think it
- 31:27Speaker 1: was gonna have legs? What? All right? In other entertainment news,
- 31:31Speaker 1: Showtime's new series The First Lady takes a look into
- 31:34Speaker 1: what goes on in the White House from the First
- 31:37Speaker 1: Ladies point of view. Actress Michelle Peiffer plays Betty Ford.
- 31:41Speaker 1: Former X Files actress Jillian Anderson plays Eleanor Roosevelt, and
- 31:45Speaker 1: Viola Davis plays Michelle Obama. Now, some people on Twitter
- 31:50Speaker 1: and other social media platforms are bringing attention to Viola
- 31:55Speaker 1: pursing her lips a lot. They say, she's, you know,
- 31:59Speaker 1: overly sing her lips as Michelle Obama um the Oscar winner.
- 32:04Speaker 1: Viola Davis says she did a lot of research into
- 32:08Speaker 1: Michelle Obama to make sure her portrayal was spot on.
- 32:12Speaker 1: Makes a kissy face throughout most of the series, and
- 32:15Speaker 1: while the real former First Lady did purse her lips,
- 32:19Speaker 1: often viewers thought Viola Davis appeared to exaggerate it just
- 32:24Speaker 1: a bit. So there Viola Davis, the actress of our
- 32:31Speaker 1: great Yes, what are you talking about? This woman is
- 32:36Speaker 1: impeccable as an actress, remember the last years. Oh god, man,
- 32:42Speaker 1: Viola Davis is real. I ain't even seen it and
- 32:44Speaker 1: I already noted. Some people ain't got nothing else to
- 32:48Speaker 1: do nothing. She perched her lips too much? What you
- 32:56Speaker 1: got a problem with family if you did? Because what
- 33:02Speaker 1: do you think, you know, see being or having a
- 33:06Speaker 1: pair or any excessive extensive nature or side. You know,
- 33:12Speaker 1: I'm just trying to people large lips. You may think
- 33:16Speaker 1: it's an extra perch. I've been accused before. Somebody has
- 33:20Speaker 1: took a close up of my lips and thought it
- 33:22Speaker 1: was somebody's ass. It has gone so fast, or oh man,
- 33:28Speaker 1: what is that? Who leads is them? You know? I've
- 33:31Speaker 1: had a whole lot. You know, I know I'd get
- 33:35Speaker 1: accused of being an extra purchase every time we bring
- 33:38Speaker 1: up lips and you need to come to the ex Yeah,
- 33:44Speaker 1: like you know, like we ever talked about eyss guess who?
- 33:49Speaker 1: You know? We talk about eyes? You know? You know,
- 33:52Speaker 1: you know if we talk about sickness. Yeah, you got
- 33:54Speaker 1: somebody the record. I have thrown it into my eyes. Damn.
- 34:03Speaker 1: You know, you know, if you want to hear something
- 34:04Speaker 1: real country, real real country, like Mississippis, we know who
- 34:09Speaker 1: to go to. You know, if you got anything to
- 34:12Speaker 1: do with you know, being shocked. You know, we got
- 34:15Speaker 1: somebody on the show. Cover every area good related incidence
- 34:24Speaker 1: or activity committed a crime against allship, you know, you know,
- 34:33Speaker 1: anything to do with rock music bands, roadie stories, reference
- 34:38Speaker 1: where our engineered Dave, We cover the spectrum, hospitalizations, you know,
- 34:46Speaker 1: met care, what covers kill. So we're your reference. We're
- 34:53Speaker 1: here for you, you know from job references. You know
- 34:58Speaker 1: that's I'm in job references too, because I've had a
- 35:02Speaker 1: lot of different jobs. You know, anytime you want to
- 35:04Speaker 1: discuss divorce, fail you you know, stuff like that, inability
- 35:11Speaker 1: to do well in school, you stuttering. You want to
- 35:17Speaker 1: talk about speed you go to Junior. You want to
- 35:19Speaker 1: talk about getting your ass roasted, you go to Tommy
- 35:22Speaker 1: Hit stuff like that. All right, we get it coming
- 35:27Speaker 1: up in twenty minutes after the hour. The IRS tax
- 35:31Speaker 1: deadline was yesterday, and Steve will give us some tax tips.
- 35:34Speaker 1: Speaking of experts, we'll go right after this. You're listening
- 35:42Speaker 1: to Harvey Morning Show. Well, yesterday was the IRS tax
- 35:47Speaker 1: deadline to file your tax returns. The IRS estimated over
- 35:51Speaker 1: fifteen million people filed for a six month extension, which,
- 35:55Speaker 1: of course it's October seventeen now. In addition, if you
- 35:58Speaker 1: still haven't received your return and you filed electronic electronically,
- 36:03Speaker 1: you can use the IRS agency, the IRS agencies, where's
- 36:08Speaker 1: my refund tool? Okay? So Steve, I got to ask
- 36:12Speaker 1: you this. She recently did an interview and you recalled
- 36:14Speaker 1: owing the IRS millions and millions of dollars. I think
- 36:17Speaker 1: it was about twenty two or something. You said, you
- 36:19Speaker 1: said when you went to work and took every gig
- 36:22Speaker 1: to pay them back. That's what you did. And so
- 36:25Speaker 1: we got to ask you, do you have any tax advice,
- 36:28Speaker 1: any tax tips? You want to share? Tip number one
- 36:31Speaker 1: as soon as you get a notice in the mail
- 36:35Speaker 1: from the I don't get mad and talking about I
- 36:39Speaker 1: ain't got it and throw it to the side. Get
- 36:42Speaker 1: that damn letter, open it up and get busy. Responded,
- 36:50Speaker 1: you got to call somebody. It got a lot of
- 36:52Speaker 1: tax numbers. Now, like if you know, oh, the IR
- 36:55Speaker 1: is more than ten thousand dollars in all this here,
- 36:57Speaker 1: call this number right here. These things really do work.
- 37:02Speaker 1: My problem with my debt was I thought I had paid.
- 37:07Speaker 1: I signed the checks and I signed the tax forms.
- 37:12Speaker 1: What had happened was they ended up being on the
- 37:14Speaker 1: floor of my former accountant's office for seven years. So
- 37:20Speaker 1: you figure seven years of back taxes back in the nineties,
- 37:25Speaker 1: you know, I mean you know, yeah, yeah, you know,
- 37:27Speaker 1: starting back in the eighties to the early nineties, and
- 37:30Speaker 1: then discovery that you owe that money. And then by
- 37:34Speaker 1: the time I put the penalties together, I owed them
- 37:36Speaker 1: a lot of money. So like, now if I get well,
- 37:42Speaker 1: see if you don't file, see here's the deal. If
- 37:44Speaker 1: you don't file, they don't know. And then you gotta remember, man,
- 37:49Speaker 1: this was happening in the nineties and computers weren't quite
- 37:53Speaker 1: as dialed in as they are now. Well, let's clarify
- 37:57Speaker 1: thats not a tax tip. It's a tax tip. If
- 38:01Speaker 1: I'm trying to give you, is this right here? You
- 38:05Speaker 1: may could have got away with it for seven years
- 38:07Speaker 1: because I didn't have a lot of income prior to that.
- 38:11Speaker 1: You understand. But once you get up into this money,
- 38:14Speaker 1: they gonna want their money. What I'm saying to you is,
- 38:17Speaker 1: as soon as you get a tax notice, don't throw
- 38:20Speaker 1: it to the side. Open that letter up and make
- 38:23Speaker 1: a phone call. If it's over ten thousand dollars, get

- 51:34Speaker 1: the same page, punching pounds in the mouth and he

- 53:47Speaker 1: Here it is the Strawberry Letter. Thank you. You sound
- 53:52Speaker 1: a little like Don Cornelius this morning. All right, thank
- 53:56Speaker 1: you enough? You subject they let their husbands run wild.
- 54:00Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley, I've been married for two years and I'm
- 54:03Speaker 1: twenty five years old. My husband is twenty six and
- 54:06Speaker 1: he pursued me heavily until I let him take me out.
- 54:10Speaker 1: We had a great first date and he told me
- 54:12Speaker 1: that he loved me. I fell for him really quick,
- 54:16Speaker 1: and we got married in no time. He lived out
- 54:19Speaker 1: in the suburbs and I had an apartment downtown, so
- 54:22Speaker 1: he stayed with me mostly before we got married. Right
- 54:25Speaker 1: before the wedding, I moved in with him, and I
- 54:28Speaker 1: met three other married couples in his neighborhood. They were
- 54:31Speaker 1: all professional men and they loved to golf, mainly because
- 54:35Speaker 1: it was a status thing for them. And I asked
- 54:38Speaker 1: my fiance at the time why he never mentioned these friends,
- 54:42Speaker 1: and he said they're his neighborhood friends and he didn't
- 54:44Speaker 1: really hang out with them because he was single. I
- 54:47Speaker 1: got upset and asked him if he was rushing into
- 54:50Speaker 1: marriage to fit in. He said absolutely not, and I
- 54:53Speaker 1: did not nap him about it. Fast forward to present
- 54:56Speaker 1: day and we've been married for two years. My husband
- 55:01Speaker 1: thinks it's okay to hang out with his neighborhood friends
- 55:03Speaker 1: every Friday and Saturday night. It's fine if they're in
- 55:07Speaker 1: the backyard or in one of their man caves, but
- 55:10Speaker 1: they like to go to the city to hang out.
- 55:12Speaker 1: I'm the only wife in the group that has a
- 55:15Speaker 1: problem with it. One of the wives told me that
- 55:17Speaker 1: as soon as I start getting tired of my husband,
- 55:20Speaker 1: I will look forward to him hanging out at night.
- 55:22Speaker 1: My husband said that I'm making us look bad as
- 55:25Speaker 1: a unit because I'm always calling around complaining about him
- 55:28Speaker 1: being out. I don't like that they let their husbands
- 55:31Speaker 1: do whatever they want to do, and I hope it
- 55:33Speaker 1: doesn't rub off on my husband. He's not a big drinker,
- 55:37Speaker 1: but now he's buying liquor and building up his bar
- 55:40Speaker 1: to show off to his friends. Is there any way
- 55:42Speaker 1: to keep my husband at home? Well, you could lock
- 55:46Speaker 1: the bedroom door and throw away the key, you know,
- 55:49Speaker 1: keep him in there, But of course you're not going
- 55:52Speaker 1: to do that. I just think this thing started from
- 55:56Speaker 1: the very beginning. I mean, you guys went really fast.
- 55:59Speaker 1: I mean, to begin with, you said he told you
- 56:02Speaker 1: he loved you on the first date. That was quick,
- 56:05Speaker 1: very quick. So now that you've been married for two
- 56:08Speaker 1: years at twenty eight, he'd rather hang out with his
- 56:11Speaker 1: boys on the weekend. At twenty eight, that just seems
- 56:14Speaker 1: rather odd. It seems like you guys would still be
- 56:16Speaker 1: honeymooning and getting it in at this age. He's twenty
- 56:20Speaker 1: eight now you're twenty seventh. I do think it's something
- 56:24Speaker 1: to him rushing to fit in with the rest of
- 56:27Speaker 1: his suburban friends. You mentioned that he denies it, but
- 56:31Speaker 1: there is something to that. He is trying to impress him.
- 56:33Speaker 1: You mentioned the liquor. He's trying to build up his
- 56:36Speaker 1: bar and he doesn't even drink all that. I mean,
- 56:38Speaker 1: they do the same things together, leaving their wives at
- 56:42Speaker 1: home when they go to the city, and your husband,
- 56:46Speaker 1: I don't know. I think you guys need to work
- 56:48Speaker 1: out some sort of compromise if you want to stay together,
- 56:52Speaker 1: because you guys, at the rate you're going, you might
- 56:54Speaker 1: end up in divorce court. I mean, you got to
- 56:56Speaker 1: schedule some date nights. You gotta work on your marriage.
- 56:59Speaker 1: Stop falling around looking for him because he doesn't like that.
- 57:03Speaker 1: Stop talking to these other messy wives who seem bitter.
- 57:05Speaker 1: They don't even like their husband husbands at this point,
- 57:09Speaker 1: they said, you know, when when he starts getting on
- 57:11Speaker 1: your nerves, you'll be happy. All of that. You don't
- 57:14Speaker 1: want to hear that you need to work on your
- 57:16Speaker 1: marriage if that's what you want. Um, you know, let
- 57:18Speaker 1: them know how you feel. Don't you know that doesn't
- 57:21Speaker 1: require any argument or anything like that. I mean, if
- 57:25Speaker 1: he doesn't want to try to fix it, then you
- 57:26Speaker 1: know where you stand. Your marriage is in trouble, and
- 57:29Speaker 1: you guys are young. You know you're gonna you're gonna
- 57:32Speaker 1: come up against some hurdles. You might want to consider
- 57:35Speaker 1: counseling at least something to try and keep your marriage together.
- 57:38Speaker 1: But first, you know, let them know how you feel.
- 57:40Speaker 1: Communicate Steve, great response, Sureley, I'm stuck on this letter
- 57:46Speaker 1: in a couple of ways because there's so many things
- 57:49Speaker 1: wrong here, young sister. I hate to tell you that,
- 57:52Speaker 1: but all right, here goes uncle Steve. Let me try
- 57:55Speaker 1: to help you out. They let their husbands run wild.
- 57:58Speaker 1: Let okay, we'll get into that in a minute. You've
- 58:02Speaker 1: been married for two years. You're twenty five years old,
- 58:04Speaker 1: your husband twenty six. Now. This is young. Now, this
- 58:08Speaker 1: is young to be married. I just want to tell
- 58:10Speaker 1: you that right off the dribble, we had a great
- 58:13Speaker 1: first He pursued you heavily until you let him take you. Y'all,
- 58:16Speaker 1: you had a great first date. He told me that
- 58:19Speaker 1: he loved me. I fell for him really quickly, and
- 58:22Speaker 1: we got married in no time. Pump your brakes stop.
- 58:26Speaker 1: Here is the whole problem in this whole letter is
- 58:29Speaker 1: wrapped up in that statement right there. I fell for
- 58:33Speaker 1: him really quickly and we got married in no time. Well,
- 58:37Speaker 1: that's the whole problem. You did not take the time
- 58:42Speaker 1: to know the score. You did not take the time
- 58:47Speaker 1: to read the book. You did not take the time
- 58:51Speaker 1: to go over the chapters. You just jumped into it.
- 58:56Speaker 1: Anybody that's married will tell you marriage is a challenge.
- 59:01Speaker 1: It's beautiful, but Lord have mercy, it's a challenge. And
- 59:05Speaker 1: you didn't even have enough information about your mate going in. Now,
- 59:11Speaker 1: he lived out in the suburbs. You had an apartment downtown,
- 59:14Speaker 1: so he stayed with you most of the time before
- 59:16Speaker 1: you got married. Right before the wed and I moved
- 59:19Speaker 1: in with him. That's out in the suburbs. I met
- 59:21Speaker 1: three other married couples in his neighborhood. They were all
- 59:24Speaker 1: professional men. They loved to golf, mainly because it's a
- 59:27Speaker 1: status thing for them. And I asked my fear, I
- 59:29Speaker 1: would say, why he never mentioned these friends, and he
- 59:31Speaker 1: said they're his neighborhood friends. And he didn't really hang
- 59:34Speaker 1: out with him because he was single. Right there, right there,
- 59:41Speaker 1: And you know why he didn't hang out with them,
- 59:44Speaker 1: because as married people, they weren't doing the things that
- 59:48Speaker 1: he was doing as a single man. You got that.
- 59:52Speaker 1: When we come back, the rest of it will get
- 59:55Speaker 1: unfolded right in front of you. Hope you enjoy it,
- 59:58Speaker 1: and please stay together after my response, it's not over.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: It's just troubles, all right, Steve. We'll have part two
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: of your response coming up at twenty three minutes after
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: the hour. Today's Strawberry letter subject they let their husbands
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: run wild. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, Come on, Steve, Let's recap today's
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: Strawberry letter, the subject they let their husbands run wild. Yeah,
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: they do. They let their husbands run wild. Now, you
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: twenty five, you didn't married this man. Twenty six. You
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: got married really quick. You got married in no time.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: According to the letter, he lives out in the suburbs.
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: He spent all the time downtown with you in your apartment.
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: When you all got married, you discovered he had three
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: friends out there in the suburbs who all married. You
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: wanted to know why he didn't tell you about him,
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: He said, because they didn't hang out because he was
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: single and they were married. Like I said in the beginning,
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: when you getting married in no time, you don't know
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: the whole story. You can't get a better picture of
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: the view of the picture. You haven't read the book,
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: you don't have enough information. So now this is gonna
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: come back to bite you. Now, he didn't really hang
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: out with him because he was single. So then you
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: got upset and you asked him if he was rushing
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: into marriage to fit in. He said, no, absolutely not,
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: and so you didn't nag him about it. Fast forward
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: to present day. Now we're talking two years now, two
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: years in past now, and my husband thinks it's okay
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: to hang out with his neighborhood friends every Friday and
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: Saturday night. Wow. Now, part of this is because of
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: two things. Number One, his friends have been married for
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: a while. Now I guarantee you those three friends are
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: a little older than he is. And also this has
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: something to do with youth to want to hang out
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: with your boys every Friday and every Saturday. I get
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: to hang out with my main boys twice a year.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: Twice a year. It's when I get to hang out
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: with my boys all twelve of us get together and
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: it's twice a year. That's it. Now, that's been twice
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: this year because the funerals sad to say, but that's
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: how long we've been friends. Now we hang it out.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: You hang it out twice a week every Friday and Saturday.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: And if you like it, okay, if they in the
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: backyard or you in one of their man caves. But
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: then they like to go to the city to hang out.
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: Now you're the only wife in the group that's got
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: a problem with it. One of the wives told me,
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: as soon as I start getting tired of my husband,
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: I would look forward to him hanging out at night. See,
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: so obviously they've been married longer than two years. They've
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: been married for a while, and this is the feeling
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: that she has. My husband said that you're making us
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: look bad as a unit. That's funny right there, when
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: the dude told her, you're making us bad as a
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: unit by complaining to the other wives because you're the
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: only one complaining. Well, the unit dog is a marriage.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: That's a little bit more important than a unit. It
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: is an office space downtown. A unit is a collection
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: of coworkers. You all are a unit. No, no, this
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: is a marriage. It's very different. I don't like that
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: they let their husbands do whatever they want to do,
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: and I hope it don't rub off on my husband.
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: I don't know what you're hoping against it already. Does
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: he hang out every Friday and Saturday? You hope it
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: don't rub off on your husband? It then't rubbed. He
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: with them every Friday cent Ain't that what the letter
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: fall rubbed? He's not a big drinker now, but he
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: buying looking building up his bar to show off to
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: his friends. Well that's good because the bars at the
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: house see you getting them closer to home, and they're
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: gonna be drunk, but they all gonna be closer to home.
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: Is there any way to keep my husband at home? Well,
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: there is a way to keep your husband at home.
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: But let me tell you what's happening right here. The
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: reason they go out every night, every Friday and every
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: sight because what's out there in them streets is more
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: exciting than what's happening at home. Period. This is a fact.
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: If your husband is going every Friday and every Saturday,
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: I'm assuming y'all been at work Monday through Friday, and
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: all of them get together every Friday night and every
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: Saturday night is because they're blowing off steam from the workweek,
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: and they're blowing off the steam without their wives. Something
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: is happening out there in them streets. That's more exciting.
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: That's what's happening at a home. Whatever happened to date night,
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: it would seem to me like, since all y'all are friends,
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: it would seem to me like as couples, y'all would
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: get together and it will be one couple's responsibility to
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: host and event at their house or planned the date
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: night for you all. So if your guys did a
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: Friday night, everything would be cool. If the ladies and
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: everybody got sadday. Now, you ever seen a mob movie.
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: You ever seen the mob movie. Even the mob movie,
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: they had a night with a family, But then they
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: had a night when their girlfriends all met down at
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: the cabina or the cotton club. Even gangsters know, you
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: got to take care of your family. These faulk foods
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: and got together on the weekends and decided, ain't no
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: damn family. That's about. It's dumb. Even they do that
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: in a gangster movie. You got a night the girlfriend,
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: You got a night for the wives. Y'all Both day
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: nights is shot. Y'all stupid. Y'all need a date night,
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: y'all need a couple's night out, so y'all can save
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: y'all's marriage. We're god. I'm gonna tell you right now.
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: This continue every Friday and every Saturday. You can't stay
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: married like that. I don't care who you are. All right,
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: We're moving on. Post your comments on today's Strawberry Letter

- 1:09:45Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour. In kindergarten in Michigan,
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: brings margaritta's to school and share them with their clown.
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: You're talking about We'll talk about this right after this. Cheers.
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: You're listening show And Lavonia, Michigan, which is right outside
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: of Detroit, a five year old girl allegedly brought single
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: serve bottles of ready to drink Jose Quervo tequila margharitas
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: to school, which she shared with her her other kindergarten classmates,
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: and parents, needless to say, are outraged. One parent said
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: her daughter was one of the kids at Grand River
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: Academy in Lavonia who was given a dixie cup that
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: was full of yeah, that was full of the margharitas
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: from her classmate during snack time. Okay crazy. She said
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: her child had four or five SIPs of it, which
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: left the kidnergardener feeling woozy and a little dizzy. The
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: classmates were told it was just juice, so they had
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: no idea what they were drinking, but the girl who
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: brought it in later admitted she knew it was alcohol. Really,
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: five year old a school employees called poison controls and
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: small children can easily experience alcohol poisoning, but all the
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: students involved were reportedly during fine afterwards. What what what
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: is happening? What is happening? That's what's happen. Yeah, we
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: need to drinking here a kindergartener um. Yeah. In a
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: letter to the parents, Grand Grand River Academy says disciplinary
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: measures will be taken against the student who brought in
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: the margaritas. While we try to keep an eye on
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: every kindergarten Yeah, I know a five year old, right.
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: They say they try to keep an eye on everything,
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: but it's impossible sometimes, So I mean what, I think
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: that's correct? So she just stole them from the house
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: and took him to school. Yes, everybody priory she brought
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: dissy cuffs most well. The reason I did it was
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: because with my mom and daddy drank it, they'd be
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: having a good time. I just wanted to put a
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: little excitement into show and tell. Yeah, back time, that
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: girl knew what she was doing. Where did you bring
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: the alcoholic here? Have you listened to missus Wilson hours.
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: We need a drink. This is really I mean, you
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: know we're laughing, but this is serious. Lock your liquor up.
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: You know, it's something if you have kids, small children.
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: I mean you wouldn't everybody have to do that every
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: That's what I Yeah, you wouldn't think you have to
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: do that. But yeah, the kids watch every single thing
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: that you do. Everything they memic you. They imitate you,
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: and it's not so much what you say, but it's
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: what you do around. Very impressionable at school. Yeah, they
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: put your hands on about the child at school. No,
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: you can't do nothing no more all this need to
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: have money home now. Yeah, she poured to look at
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: the house. Yeah, I don't even know how you do that.
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: I couldn't even look. Man, my daddy drank Canadian windsor.
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: It's no way I could have went up under that
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: sink and took that fifth out there and took it
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: up to that school without dying. First of all, brown
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: liquor is very different from a marga reader one sip
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: in your ANSWER's alcohol poise, this kid took about four
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: or five SIPs. Yeah, but these are not the fifth,
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: So up I mean, but even a sip and a
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: little kid, yeah, and was just woozy and a little dizzy.
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: Put off your hands on your cup, Hostill they take
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: a shot. They take This is really bad man. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: watch your kids. They knew stuff with wrong because somebody
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: had stepped out their papa, and then they were told
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: that it was just juice. All right, yeah, I know
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: that is just juice. Okay. We'll be back with more
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at twenty
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: minutes after. Right after this, you're listening to the show
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: and weird news. A Kentucky man with an anxiety disorder
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: asked his employer not to celebrate his birthday because it
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: would trigger a panic attack. Okay, However, his job ignored him.
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: They surprised him anyway on his birthday with the celebration
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: in the lunch room, and yes, he had a panic attack.
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: He told them not to do it. They did it.
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: He had a panic attack. His name is Burling, Burling,

- 1:15:56Speaker 1: come on, Burling, what did he do party with that Money's?
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: Not to do it? So, yeah, he told he asked

- 1:21:16Speaker 1: you know, listen when you call in and you're bragging
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: about your babies and everything. Look, congratulations, you know, happy
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: that you're happy, you know, and all this hell, But
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: you ain't got the only baby that can do that.
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: I can promise you that, But you the one decided
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: to call in, say, I don't know if this impresses

- 1:21:37Speaker 1: any proof. We don't. We don't watch watch or you
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: get back at us. So thank no, I was talking
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: over it. I was talking over I want you to
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: hear something. Let me know when you got it, Dave,
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: and then I'll be quiet, because you know, when y'all

- 1:22:10Speaker 1: this is what you saying. How long? Well, how long
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: do it take? The count ten? You know we all
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: eventually get there. I wanted to just be able to
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: rip him off one behind another. We don't know if
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: you know, baby just sounded like ten or something like that.
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: You know, that's that's when I'm being pressed, you know,
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: but don't don't call it here because I'm what I
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: want you to Hear's what I heard on the tape,
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: because while you was bragging on the baby, I heard
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: the baby in the background say something my damn self.
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: And that's why I'm a little curious. Let let me know,
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: Dave when we get there, and I'll just be quiet
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: so I could let y'all hear what I heard in
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: the background while you've been bragging on the little brilliant baby.
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: The baby know here ab sees and the baby is
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: supposed to remark. This is my closing remark. See, we

- 1:23:02Speaker 1: their vacation pictures and all this hill and it don't
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: be that impressing. This is us standing in front of
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: the tree. Nobody give a damn but understanding in front
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: of the tree. This is us walking into cabin and soup.
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: What you know, calling hill about your baby being that
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: damn brilliant. Your baby ain't the only baby can count ten?
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: First of all, how long do it take him to
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: get to ten and he can say all the alphabet
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: or do he just make all the alphabet? Side that
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: ain't saying the alphabet. How long it took me to
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: learn the damn alphabet? Calling here with this two year old.
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: He needed to go in there and learn how to
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: change his damn dipper. It's what he needed to do.
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: If you want to impress me, Potti trained this ball.
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: I hope he'm boyn too. Potty trained him and teach
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: him to quit pin on himself at standing that holding
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: the edge of that coffee table looking off in the space.
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: Because I know what you're doing. I'm gonna play the
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: whole thing again, and i want you all to hear
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: the very end. We're gonna be quiet, and i want
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: you to hear the very end of it, and then
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: I'll stop it. Go ahead, Dave, Okay, Steve Harvey. My
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: name is Marsonnis. I have a two year old who
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: can fully recite his abcs and he can count to ten.
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: I don't know if that's impressive to you, but it's
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: very impressive to me. And almost everybody we run into
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: everyone doesn't think that he's too. Everyone thinks he's like
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: four or five. So I'm impressed with him, and I'm
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: gonna keep working on it, and hopefully we can talk
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: with twenty by the time we get back at you
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: or you get back at us. So thank you. Did
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: you hear the baby talk getting it back? Did you
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: hear that right? Sound like a red last two year old?
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: And me, I wasn't impressed at all. It is again,
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: sound like his ass was winding to me, shut chass

- 1:25:27Speaker 1: we heard from the baby. We heard directly from the baby,
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: and the baby sound regular to me. But if he
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: can do those things, that is impressive, like he could
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: do it. Sound like he was winding, all right. I
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: bet you he don't know the damn maybe seized, I
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: bet you. And if anybody's talking about they thank you
