- 2:04Speaker 2: You are listening to the voice, come on dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 2: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:12Speaker 7: Man o man o, man, I just I have to
- 2:17Speaker 7: tell you this. How good is the God I serve?
- 2:24Speaker 7: How amazing is he? That's that's all I you know.
- 2:29Speaker 7: And you know what, really, man, when I try to explain.
- 2:34Speaker 2: How I feel about what he does for me, really,
- 2:37Speaker 2: the words that I come up with, that they just
- 2:39Speaker 2: they they inadequate. Man, They don't they don't cut it.
- 2:41Speaker 2: They really don't. You know, I could say amazing. At
- 2:45Speaker 2: one time. I even just got that. I tried something
- 2:48Speaker 2: real ignorant. One time, I just said, you know, God
- 2:50Speaker 2: is just super captual, fragilistic as be all adocious. I
- 2:53Speaker 2: just tried that. See how that felt. That's that's all
- 2:56Speaker 2: to change is with me. I just try to because
- 2:58Speaker 2: see how that felt. But then I feel right saying
- 3:00Speaker 2: that's the fact that he's amazing and awesome and he's
- 3:04Speaker 2: an awesome God. You hear people say that is bigger
- 3:07Speaker 2: than that too, man, So you knows as hard as
- 3:12Speaker 2: I try, no matter what I do every day, I'm
- 3:14Speaker 2: gonna come up short with trying to explain to you
- 3:16Speaker 2: exactly how he works and how he is for me.
- 3:19Speaker 7: So I just thank him that every day every chance
- 3:21Speaker 7: I get.
- 3:23Speaker 5: Here. It is.
- 3:26Speaker 7: It is your determination and your effort. Listen to me carefully.
- 3:34Speaker 7: It is your determination and your effort. I think that
- 3:40Speaker 7: the average person, and I'm not knocking you, I just
- 3:43Speaker 7: want you to hear me out. I think what stops
- 3:45Speaker 7: the average person from becoming successful is that we don't
- 3:50Speaker 7: realize the effort that it takes. And that's just truth.
- 3:55Speaker 2: I found that to be so true in my life
- 3:58Speaker 2: and my talking to people and meeting people, and people
- 4:01Speaker 2: are asking me questions about it and me trying to
- 4:04Speaker 2: figure out the way myself. I don't think that you
- 4:08Speaker 2: really can comprehend the effort that it takes to become successful.
- 4:15Speaker 2: This is the thing that You have to wrap your
- 4:17Speaker 2: mind around very quickly if you want to be successful
- 4:20Speaker 2: on any level in any area. The dream is the beginning.
- 4:26Speaker 2: Good Lord, let me tell you something. The determination and
- 4:29Speaker 2: effort is massive. You cannot be overly concerned with sleep.
- 4:37Speaker 2: If you are a person who is always concerned about sleep,
- 4:42Speaker 2: gets success out your mind, ain't fin to happen. Partner
- 4:45Speaker 2: is not finn happen. You cannot be that concerned about sleep. Now,
- 4:51Speaker 2: listen to me. You have to get your rest. But
- 4:54Speaker 2: this was my philosophy. I'm just sharing you with what
- 4:58Speaker 2: how I did it. My philosophy was I stopped being
- 5:03Speaker 2: concerned about sleep. I got my rest, but I got
- 5:08Speaker 2: just enough to get back to it, and I got
- 5:13Speaker 2: back on the grind to hop in the hustle. I
- 5:16Speaker 2: got just enough rest so I could go and put
- 5:20Speaker 2: forth some more effort. But listen to me. You cannot
- 5:25Speaker 2: sleep a third of your life away and expect to
- 5:28Speaker 2: become successful. If you're not already successful. If you are
- 5:31Speaker 2: asleep for eight hours, that is a third of your day.
- 5:35Speaker 2: You cannot be asleep a third of your life and
- 5:38Speaker 2: expect to get successful. Now, after you get successful, you
- 5:43Speaker 2: know you learn as you go to work smarter, not harder.
- 5:48Speaker 2: So as you get successful, you may have eight hours
- 5:51Speaker 2: available to you. But on the way up there, I
- 5:54Speaker 2: don't see how you can do it.
- 5:55Speaker 7: I promise you. I don't. Now, maybe somebody can come
- 5:57Speaker 7: for it.
- 5:58Speaker 8: I did it.
- 5:59Speaker 2: He probably lying, But okay, tell your story, because everybody
- 6:05Speaker 2: I know that's successful that I've sat down and had
- 6:08Speaker 2: real talks with, they wasn't concerned with sleeping. You cannot
- 6:14Speaker 2: be concerned with sleeping. If you want to be successful.
- 6:17Speaker 2: How can this happen for you?
- 6:20Speaker 7: Listen to me.
- 6:21Speaker 2: The effort that it requires is massive. It's an all
- 6:25Speaker 2: out of salt on your dream. Now you got to
- 6:27Speaker 2: make an assault. It requires an all out of salt
- 6:31Speaker 2: on it. And you can't be sleeping. Fight at the
- 6:33Speaker 2: same time. You can't fight when you sleep. Man, I
- 6:37Speaker 2: wish I could get y'all understand this right here. Understand
- 6:41Speaker 2: that the effort that is required to be successful will
- 6:44Speaker 2: take everything you have, and when you think you've given
- 6:48Speaker 2: your all, it's gonna require some more.
- 6:51Speaker 7: The quality of.
- 6:53Speaker 2: Your chield is amazing. See okay, listen to what is
- 6:58Speaker 2: sitting around having a bill every day?
- 7:00Speaker 5: What?
- 7:01Speaker 7: But they's sitting around smoking weed? For every day.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Pa, Come on, man, for real, But if you took
- 7:09Speaker 2: that beer, drinking, weeds smoking chill time and applied it
- 7:13Speaker 2: to progressing yourself towards your dream. When you do carve
- 7:18Speaker 2: out a vacation, guess where you be able to go.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Guess what part of the world you can go see.
- 7:24Speaker 2: Guess how you can cheer up now instead of you
- 7:26Speaker 2: just driving Every year your family to the family union,
- 7:29Speaker 2: sit at the same picnic table. Everybody pull they money
- 7:32Speaker 2: in two and ten families don't never pool they money in.
- 7:36Speaker 7: They down there eating like y'all eating.
- 7:38Speaker 2: You got attitude cause because the day or day side
- 7:41Speaker 2: don't have a chip in or not.
- 7:42Speaker 7: They down there eating the extra potatoes at it making place.
- 7:45Speaker 2: You're not arguing about this every year? For real, man,
- 7:48Speaker 2: They ain't got the T shirt money. You know, they
- 7:51Speaker 2: got the same T shirt on. They ain't put in
- 7:53Speaker 2: that really, man, so so so so you want that
- 7:57Speaker 2: to be it every year?
- 7:58Speaker 7: Or do you want this?
- 8:00Speaker 2: I'm taking my family to New Orleans, or I'm taking
- 8:04Speaker 2: my family see the Grand Canyon. I'm taking my family
- 8:07Speaker 2: down to the beach this year. Me, me and my
- 8:09Speaker 2: family gonna go sight see. We're gonna go ride a
- 8:12Speaker 2: couple of river on Chicago. Me and my family gonna
- 8:15Speaker 2: go skiing this year. Me and me and my family
- 8:17Speaker 2: going out to La Man we go. We're gonna go
- 8:19Speaker 2: out there for the weekend. You know, you know it
- 8:21Speaker 2: can happen like that. But if you ain't working, listen
- 8:27Speaker 2: to me. Average effort gets average results. That's that's all
- 8:34Speaker 2: it is to it. See, ordinary effort gets ordinary results.
- 8:44Speaker 2: But if you put forth an extra effort. See, the
- 8:48Speaker 2: only difference between extraordinary and ordinary is one word.
- 8:51Speaker 7: That's extra.
- 8:52Speaker 2: If you do extra, you can take ordinary right on
- 8:56Speaker 2: over to extraordinary. Do you understand you have to have
- 9:00Speaker 2: a massive assault on your dreams? Quit sitting up in here, man,
- 9:03Speaker 2: trying to chill all the time. I'm sorry, man, I
- 9:06Speaker 2: wish I could tell you another way.
- 9:07Speaker 7: But it ain't one. Here's what I did.
- 9:11Speaker 2: I wasn't concerned about how much sleep I got. I
- 9:15Speaker 2: just had to get my rest. And once I got
- 9:18Speaker 2: enough rest to get up and get the task done,
- 9:21Speaker 2: I got up. Somebody sent me a tweet the other day,
- 9:27Speaker 2: a partner of mine. He said, someone to see if
- 9:30Speaker 2: I can pull it up while I'm talking to you.
- 9:32Speaker 2: But he just sent me a little sign, just what nothing,
- 9:34Speaker 2: just a little something to say. Hey man, I ran
- 9:37Speaker 2: across this, I thought about you, and I sent it
- 9:39Speaker 2: to you. It said no alarm clock needed. My passion
- 9:44Speaker 2: wakes me. This in block print, he said, no alarm
- 9:51Speaker 2: clock needed, My passion wakes me. That's what you got
- 9:57Speaker 2: to be about your.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Listeners to deceive. Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen, It's another day, it's another chance, another blessing,
- 10:11Speaker 2: another moment to be grateful. I mean, don't miss it
- 10:15Speaker 2: in twenty twenty six. Do not waste your time in
- 10:20Speaker 2: twenty twenty six on people who are destroying your peace.
- 10:26Speaker 2: If you got somebody in your life that constantly calls
- 10:29Speaker 2: you and disrupts your peace, stop answering your phone.
- 10:34Speaker 7: Block them.
- 10:37Speaker 2: Have we not yet discovered that a life life is
- 10:40Speaker 2: already enough without somebody else bringing their mess to yours
- 10:45Speaker 2: adding to it.
- 10:45Speaker 7: It does just don't make no sense.
- 10:47Speaker 2: Man, show glad to be here, though you could believe
- 10:51Speaker 2: that with everything in me, I'm glad to be here, y'all.

- 12:00Speaker 2: just going for flat flat.
- 12:04Speaker 1: Flat, Okay, Okay, I'm not mad at that. Flatten smooth.
- 12:09Speaker 7: You know, I gotta see no ridges or nothing, just
- 12:12Speaker 7: flatt and smooth.
- 12:14Speaker 1: You know, I think we all woke.
- 12:18Speaker 7: Yeah, there are some people I'm getting six packs. Let's cool,
- 12:21Speaker 7: go ahead, but yeah, ain't nobody gonna see mine. So
- 12:29Speaker 7: but but but I'm gonna walk like I have a
- 12:33Speaker 7: six pack though.
- 12:35Speaker 1: Confidence in yourself, in yourself, just.
- 12:40Speaker 7: About me, man.
- 12:41Speaker 2: I always been cool. I've always been cool. I ain't
- 12:48Speaker 2: never know, I ain't hard, I ain't no gangster.

- 14:56Speaker 5: display that I have not put on canvas yet. I'm
- 15:00Speaker 5: looking to take something of essence to put on canvas,
- 15:03Speaker 5: and I want to call you about getting permissioned. Well wait,
- 15:06Speaker 5: hold on, dog, just to stop me right now, I
- 15:08Speaker 5: don't do that. I am not a model. That's not
- 15:11Speaker 5: my profession. So you would not waste your time no more,
- 15:14Speaker 5: you know what I'm saying. Just so, mister, I don't
- 15:17Speaker 5: think you understand that my showing is going to have
- 15:20Speaker 5: some very important people there. I am, like I said before,
- 15:24Speaker 5: with Art Institute. Okay, I said I don't do that.
- 15:28Speaker 5: That's not me. I mean, I know, what would you
- 15:31Speaker 5: just calling folks up? You a solicitors on I mean,
- 15:34Speaker 5: y'all just randomly picking out folks and trying trying to
- 15:36Speaker 5: get them the model. Look man, sir, mister, no, I'm
- 15:40Speaker 5: not just randomly calling people. I actually have done research
- 15:44Speaker 5: in order to get your number. What I'm doing is
- 15:46Speaker 5: I'm not calling you as for being a model that
- 15:50Speaker 5: I'm going to portray on canvas, but you have something
- 15:54Speaker 5: far more greater visually that I would.
- 15:57Speaker 11: Like to hold on canvas.
- 15:59Speaker 5: Now, you're married to your wife? Is am I correct?
- 16:04Speaker 5: The whole wold? Whoa whoa dog? No?
- 16:06Speaker 4: For who is this serious?
- 16:08Speaker 5: Because I could give my number? No, I give my
- 16:10Speaker 5: number because you're talking about my wife and stuff. Well
- 16:13Speaker 5: my wife, my name is Sebastian. I am with art Institute.
- 16:18Speaker 5: What I'm trying to do was capture and mortalize the
- 16:21Speaker 5: beauty of essence on candle lives. Okay yo, for real, though,
- 16:25Speaker 5: you just can't. You don't talk about my wife, all right,
- 16:27Speaker 5: So I'm not. I'm not calling in a negative manner
- 16:32Speaker 5: towards your wife. I want to I want to modelize
- 16:35Speaker 5: her and capture her on canvas, the beauty that she beholds.
- 16:40Speaker 5: I've seen your wife several times, you guys resigned.
- 16:42Speaker 4: Whoa, whoa, whoa?
- 16:44Speaker 5: Do you see my wife?
- 16:45Speaker 4: Wait?
- 16:45Speaker 5: What do you see my wife?
- 16:46Speaker 7: That?
- 16:46Speaker 5: What? Why you?
- 16:47Speaker 4: Why you? Why are you watching my wife?
- 16:49Speaker 11: I've seen her.
- 16:50Speaker 5: She she shops on one hundred and twenty fifth Street
- 16:52Speaker 5: in hallm I've seen her so many times there, and
- 16:54Speaker 5: she holds all the beauty that an artist would like
- 16:57Speaker 5: to put on kanvas. Like I said before, I have
- 17:00Speaker 5: a huge showing in May. You're welcome to come out
- 17:02Speaker 5: as well. There's going to be so many important people there.
- 17:05Speaker 5: But I want to call and get permission from you
- 17:07Speaker 5: about painting your wife. No, you ain't got that permission.
- 17:11Speaker 5: Play well, you just can't. You just can't go around
- 17:13Speaker 5: following my wife and trying to mortalize or whatever is said?
- 17:17Speaker 5: All right, so so, but I would like to let
- 17:20Speaker 5: you know I have taken the liberty myself. I have
- 17:24Speaker 5: painted your wife's head.
- 17:26Speaker 4: And what, Joe, you have lost your mind. You can't
- 17:30Speaker 4: be just walking around here Peyton folks headed you got
- 17:33Speaker 4: to get permission for that.
- 17:34Speaker 5: What's wrong with you?
- 17:35Speaker 4: But if you are.
- 17:36Speaker 5: Crazy, you don't understand your wife holds the essence that
- 17:39Speaker 5: every artist.
- 17:40Speaker 11: Wants to I don't tell what she holds.
- 17:42Speaker 4: You can't be going around Peyton folks heads wrong with you, sir.
- 17:47Speaker 5: That's the reason why I'm calling trying to get permission
- 17:49Speaker 5: from you. All right, Sebastian want to put your wife
- 17:52Speaker 5: on canvas because she holds the essence that every artist
- 17:55Speaker 5: wants to behold. She mortalizes the beauty of canvas. Oh wha,
- 17:59Speaker 5: who hold of A hold of the hold of God?
- 18:01Speaker 5: You're telling me you walking around column painting my wife's head?
- 18:05Speaker 5: What is that?
- 18:07Speaker 4: What are you doing, dude?
- 18:10Speaker 5: I'm only trying to complete myfolio.

- 18:25Speaker 4: I'm gonna see you. You understand that?
- 18:28Speaker 5: Sure?
- 18:28Speaker 11: I don't want to have a duel with you, sir.
- 18:32Speaker 4: Is a duel they do what they do?
- 18:37Speaker 5: In fact, what name is a bastion? What name is
- 18:41Speaker 5: that's a fash?
- 18:42Speaker 1: Sure?
- 18:43Speaker 5: All I want to do is paint your wife and

- 18:49Speaker 4: There's law and purest for me. What the do you want?
- 18:52Speaker 11: Seriously, I want to paint your wife.

- 19:02Speaker 11: Say no, no, no, that's what you should do.
- 19:05Speaker 4: Tell me where you at you want to paint something,
- 19:07Speaker 4: I'll give you something to paint. Tell me where you

- 19:22Speaker 4: wife and the news. It's gonna take them brushes to
- 19:25Speaker 4: stick them up. Your mister, she holds the essence that
- 19:29Speaker 4: every person shouldn't give up what she holds asked, I
- 19:32Speaker 4: don't give a watch your mind for actism like that?
- 19:36Speaker 5: Sure, I must ask you? Do you think that you

- 19:41Speaker 5: the new children that has been men before you that
- 19:44Speaker 5: have seen her in the new day? For you and
- 19:47Speaker 5: my wife ain't no more? You call my wife?
- 19:49Speaker 4: Is that what you're saying? Are you calling my wife?
- 19:51Speaker 5: Of you? I want to paint your wife and the
- 19:55Speaker 5: beauty that she bought.

- 22:35Speaker 8: of these stories at the top of the hour.
- 22:37Speaker 1: Yeah, but right now it.
- 22:38Speaker 8: Is time to ask the CLO our Chief Love Officer,
- 22:43Speaker 8: Steve Harvey. This is from Sandy and Philly. Colo You ready, Yeah,
- 22:50Speaker 8: Sandy writes, I had a threesome with my husband and
- 22:55Speaker 8: the side chick took my husband. I know it was
- 22:59Speaker 8: my I know it was my fault for allowing her
- 23:01Speaker 8: to be with my man. We never got a divorce,
- 23:04Speaker 8: so he can come home whenever he wants to. Should
- 23:07Speaker 8: I fight to get him back or move on?
- 23:10Speaker 7: Fight to get him back or move on? No, let
- 23:17Speaker 7: me get fight to get him back. You don't have
- 23:21Speaker 7: him to get back. And then the second thing you
- 23:27Speaker 7: just said was move on. You said, oh, and he
- 23:32Speaker 7: has moved on. This is over. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 23:41Speaker 1: She says she knows it was her fault.
- 23:42Speaker 5: Though.
- 23:42Speaker 1: She says that, okay, cool, that's cool.
- 23:45Speaker 2: Yes, but that's a good person to know you've done
- 23:50Speaker 2: something stupid, realize it, and then accept the consequences.
- 23:56Speaker 1: Take denial. Yeah yeah, she's not in denial. And that's
- 24:09Speaker 1: what we're all about helping you. Yeah yeah, yeah.
- 24:16Speaker 2: Get rid of what I told y'all, Get rid of
- 24:18Speaker 2: anybody in your life that is destroying your peace.
- 24:22Speaker 1: Sandy, and Philly heard you. Okay, she heard you and
- 24:26Speaker 1: took your advice.
- 24:26Speaker 8: All right, let's move on to Latricia and Detroit. Latricia writes,
- 24:31Speaker 8: my son play fights with my daughter, and he is
- 24:34Speaker 8: too rough in my opinion. My husband said it's toughening
- 24:37Speaker 8: her up for the real world. How will wrestling make
- 24:41Speaker 8: her a stronger woman?
- 24:44Speaker 2: I don't know where your husband got that from. I
- 24:48Speaker 2: don't know how then in the dynamics of what y'all doing,
- 24:52Speaker 2: I really don't know. That doesn't make sense to me.
- 24:56Speaker 2: And my sons will raised where you can't put your
- 24:58Speaker 2: hand on your sister.
- 25:00Speaker 7: So nope.
- 25:01Speaker 2: Well, you know, if you okay and your son play
- 25:05Speaker 2: fighting your sister, see you play fight, the practice on
- 25:08Speaker 2: how you're gonna be right?
- 25:10Speaker 7: Yeah, you know.
- 25:11Speaker 2: I mean that's that's what the playing is for. So
- 25:16Speaker 2: I guess your boy gonna grow up to think it's
- 25:18Speaker 2: okay to jump on a woman. I think it's crazy.
- 25:22Speaker 2: I don't think it makes no sense. And what what
- 25:24Speaker 2: are you preparing your daughter for? Ready for the real world?
- 25:29Speaker 8: Yeah, he says he's toughening her up for the real world.
- 25:33Speaker 8: So is he saying as far as self defense? Knowing
- 25:37Speaker 8: how to defend herself?
- 25:39Speaker 1: That's what he means.
- 25:41Speaker 2: But it's also teaching your woman, teaching that young lady
- 25:44Speaker 2: something else too.
- 25:47Speaker 7: You know that if your father can sit by and
- 25:49Speaker 7: allow a man to do you harm.
- 25:54Speaker 2: Maybe maybe that's acceptable too. That's not gonna happen in
- 25:58Speaker 2: my family. So yeah, your head on your side.
- 26:01Speaker 7: I don't care what she do to you. See what
- 26:02Speaker 7: happened to you?
- 26:04Speaker 1: They need to stop, all right.
- 26:07Speaker 8: Moving on to Griff in the d m V, Griff writes,
- 26:11Speaker 8: my girlfriend and I went to Vegas for New Year's
- 26:13Speaker 8: Eve and I noticed she doesn't take baths. She only
- 26:18Speaker 8: takes showers. My mom loves baths, and she said a
- 26:22Speaker 8: woman needs to soak her body parts daily. If that's true,
- 26:26Speaker 8: how do I tell my girlfriend about her hygiene?
- 26:29Speaker 1: Your mama, Come on, Zila, I can't wait.
- 26:42Speaker 7: So many here through your.
- 26:48Speaker 5: So I'm.
- 26:51Speaker 7: Well, I'm not dating anybody that that I have to
- 26:54Speaker 7: have a hygiene.
- 26:55Speaker 1: Discussion with conversation. Yeah, that's a U.
- 27:00Speaker 7: She don't take baths, she takes showers.
- 27:03Speaker 1: I don't only take showers, and I don't.
- 27:06Speaker 7: I don't know nothing that's wrong with that.
- 27:09Speaker 8: Well, his mother said that I w wrong soak her
- 27:14Speaker 8: body parts daily.
- 27:17Speaker 1: Gladys, glad, it's gladys.
- 27:25Speaker 7: I do know that there are times when my butt
- 27:28Speaker 7: has to be soaked. I do know that.
- 27:31Speaker 1: Care go care, talking about women.
- 27:38Speaker 8: Careful right first, Yeah, I'm just telling you right there
- 27:43Speaker 8: before you jump off that.
- 27:45Speaker 2: Well, you know, it's twenty twenty six and you another one. Well,
- 27:50Speaker 2: that's another thing I've done. Y'all didn't ask me about it.
- 27:54Speaker 2: What but in twenty twenty six, I'm gonna say more
- 27:59Speaker 2: of what I really.
- 28:00Speaker 1: Woness kind of touch on that yesterday.
- 28:03Speaker 2: Yeah, Yeah, I'm gonna. I'm going I'm gonna let more
- 28:06Speaker 2: of my personal thoughts go. I'm gonna just let them up.
- 28:12Speaker 7: Nice working with you guys, Yeah, real what you want
- 28:17Speaker 7: to feel?
- 28:18Speaker 3: So what y'all think MLKDA that's probably our last yes, yeah, yeah,
- 28:25Speaker 3: right after his birthday. Yeah, that day off and all
- 28:29Speaker 3: the rest.
- 28:32Speaker 2: So if you want to keep the show, don't don't
- 28:34Speaker 2: bring nothing in here. They don't say it about me online.
- 28:37Speaker 2: I'm just letting go.
- 28:41Speaker 7: Yeah, don't keep it away from me. That's good. Next year.
- 28:45Speaker 8: Yeah, but I like what you said about that one though.
- 28:48Speaker 8: You're not gonna date anyone. You have to have a
- 28:50Speaker 8: hygiene conversation.
- 28:51Speaker 7: No, don't, I'm not don't don't.
- 28:52Speaker 1: We we're not doing this.
- 28:53Speaker 8: I'm not acting like she don obey at all at all.
- 28:56Speaker 8: She's not clean, he's actually clean, or she's yeah, yeah.
- 29:03Speaker 10: Uh huh, here's boy.
- 29:10Speaker 8: Here, yeah yeah, yes, exactly, all right, last one, last one,
- 29:17Speaker 8: Celo Montrees and Augusta writes, A new neighbor came and
- 29:21Speaker 8: asked me for a ride to work. I was going
- 29:23Speaker 8: to do it, but my husband said I should not
- 29:25Speaker 8: start doing that with that woman. I feel sorry for
- 29:28Speaker 8: her because she's a single man. She's a single mom.
- 29:31Speaker 8: Should I follow my heart or listen to my husband?
- 29:36Speaker 7: The lady just asked for a ride, man, I be home.
- 29:41Speaker 1: But her husband said, I don't care what her husband says.
- 29:44Speaker 2: It's just a kind gesture. Do woman need a ride?
- 29:47Speaker 2: She's a single mother. You don't know what's going on.
- 29:49Speaker 7: Right, Yeah, just get a lady a ride, man. God, See,
- 29:54Speaker 7: we live in this world now, sound like.
- 30:01Speaker 1: Well we'll find out.
- 30:06Speaker 7: To work.
- 30:06Speaker 1: Here we go judgmental behind you're the husband. You're the husband,
- 30:13Speaker 1: all right?
- 30:14Speaker 5: Get that back? Yeah?
- 30:17Speaker 1: Whatever happened to kindness?
- 30:20Speaker 7: All right?
- 30:20Speaker 1: Thank you, Celo.
- 30:22Speaker 8: Coming up at the top of the hour, we will
- 30:24Speaker 8: have some entertainment news for you right after this.
- 30:30Speaker 1: You're listening. Hardy Morning Show.
- 30:37Speaker 8: Comedian and actor Marlon Wayans is taking the high road
- 30:40Speaker 8: and he said he is done beefing with fifty Cent.
- 30:44Speaker 8: On the recent podcast interview, Wayns set his beef with
- 30:48Speaker 8: Citty was never that deep and he usually stays focused
- 30:52Speaker 8: on work so that he avoids unnecessary drama. The drama started,
- 30:57Speaker 8: you recall, after Marlon made a comment regarding Karma for
- 31:00Speaker 8: the way fifty Cent allegedly was joking about Diddy's downfall.
- 31:05Speaker 8: Marlon went on to say, quote, I was having a
- 31:07Speaker 8: cigar and I was thinking about it. I was just like,
- 31:10Speaker 8: what example do I want? Is this an example of
- 31:13Speaker 8: two black men with two businesses fighting in public?
- 31:16Speaker 1: It's not good for my culture.
- 31:19Speaker 8: Then Marlon mentioned offering fifty a role in one of
- 31:21Speaker 8: his upcoming projects. He said, I'm already thinking about putting
- 31:25Speaker 8: him in my next movie. I got some action stuff
- 31:28Speaker 8: I'm doing. I think he could be an incredible star.
- 31:31Speaker 1: So there, there you go.
- 31:33Speaker 8: Marlon Wayans has officially squashed the beef. Okay, so what
- 31:37Speaker 8: do you guys think about that?
- 31:38Speaker 10: What do you but.
- 31:45Speaker 7: Movie?
- 31:45Speaker 10: If you want you taking him shopping, I'll tell you
- 31:48Speaker 10: that right now.
- 31:51Speaker 5: You don't.
- 31:51Speaker 8: You don't think they can work together though, Marlon and
- 31:54Speaker 8: fifty I mean, you don't think so they could.
- 31:57Speaker 1: I fifty wants to Yeah a star, fifty don't want to.
- 32:05Speaker 5: Go.
- 32:06Speaker 1: Don't have to be put in a movie.
- 32:08Speaker 10: He don't have to be.
- 32:09Speaker 1: So fifty is like you. He can't let stuff go.
- 32:14Speaker 6: No, I'll be.
- 32:16Speaker 7: I be in Marlon movie. Fifty won't, but I won't.
- 32:19Speaker 7: I'll be right in there.
- 32:22Speaker 2: Well, I'm not commenting because it goes against my new
- 32:26Speaker 2: mantra of twenty six?
- 32:29Speaker 1: How long is this going? Is it again? I forget?
- 32:32Speaker 4: I can't.
- 32:33Speaker 7: I can't beef with nobody because I no longer care.
- 32:38Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, that is just si Yeah that part yeah, yeah.
- 32:42Speaker 2: You know it's it's gonna be hard for you to
- 32:44Speaker 2: beef with me in twenty twenty six because I no
- 32:47Speaker 2: longer care.
- 32:48Speaker 1: Okay, so you don't care about the beef at all,
- 32:51Speaker 1: whether he gets.
- 32:52Speaker 7: I like both of them. Catch man. Marlin's smooth dude man,
- 32:56Speaker 7: so he's smart.
- 32:57Speaker 1: You know they squashed it. Yeah yeah, let's move on.
- 33:01Speaker 1: Try to move on, all right? Moving on to Kevin Hart.
- 33:05Speaker 8: Kevin Hart has just inked a major business deal by
- 33:09Speaker 8: turning his name into.
- 33:10Speaker 1: A billion dollar global brand.
- 33:13Speaker 8: Kevin entered a partnership with Authentic Brands Group that's a
- 33:17Speaker 8: major player licensing and brand ownership. The agreement gave the
- 33:22Speaker 8: Authentic Brands Group the rights to Kevin Hart's name and
- 33:25Speaker 8: intellectual property, with Kevin being a shareholder in the company.
- 33:29Speaker 8: This partnership will expand Kevin's brand across consumer products, digital spaces,
- 33:35Speaker 8: and live experiences, far beyond its films and his stand up.
- 33:40Speaker 8: So here's a question, do you guys see this as
- 33:42Speaker 8: a win win situation for Kevin going forward?
- 33:45Speaker 7: An incredible business hit enough. I know the company. It's
- 33:48Speaker 7: the same company that did the deal with Shack. It's
- 33:52Speaker 7: the same.
- 33:53Speaker 2: Companies did to deal with several people. I talk with
- 33:56Speaker 2: the guy in December. I talk with him in December.
- 34:02Speaker 2: Matter of fact, I talk with him saying not I
- 34:04Speaker 2: talked to Kevin in December. So I didn't know they
- 34:07Speaker 2: were doing the deal. But that's gonna turn into a
- 34:09Speaker 2: lot of money for Kevin. Trusts me, a lot of money.
- 34:14Speaker 1: Congratulations.
- 34:15Speaker 5: You know.
- 34:16Speaker 2: It gives a person who has a brand a chance
- 34:19Speaker 2: to sell his brand and stuff, just like let's just
- 34:23Speaker 2: say Disley Brothers or Justin Bieber or Alicia Keys were
- 34:28Speaker 2: to sell their catalog.
- 34:30Speaker 8: Okay, okay, it's just that type of situation because it's
- 34:35Speaker 8: beyond films and stand ups. So really, seriously, congratulations.
- 34:40Speaker 7: All right.
- 34:41Speaker 8: Finally, a new personality type has been named for the
- 34:44Speaker 8: new year. It's an ultravert personality type. According to Google,
- 34:49Speaker 8: an ultravert can socialize effectively, but loves to maintain emotional distance.
- 34:56Speaker 8: Ultroverts feel like an outsider in groups and preferred one
- 35:00Speaker 8: on one connections over group dynamics. Ultroverts need to they
- 35:06Speaker 8: need time alone in solitude to recharge after social engagements.
- 35:11Speaker 8: Now we know that introverts prefer to solitude. They prefer
- 35:15Speaker 8: to have solitude and quiet reflection, and then extroverts love
- 35:19Speaker 8: social interaction. They're very outgoing. So which one are you?
- 35:24Speaker 8: Which one are you, Steve? Are you an introvert and extrovertvert?
- 35:27Speaker 7: Or you an ultrovert?
- 35:28Speaker 8: Which one?
- 35:29Speaker 7: Well, it just depends on the person that's talking to me.
- 35:33Speaker 1: Good answer, I like it.
- 35:41Speaker 7: You know, whoever walk up to me, that's the one
- 35:43Speaker 7: I'm going to apply.
- 35:46Speaker 1: It might be an extrovert, introvert or ultrovert.
- 35:49Speaker 10: Okay, yeah, jor.
- 35:51Speaker 2: But at any point in the conversation, if you're talking,
- 35:55Speaker 2: I turned my head insideways and I'm looking at you
- 36:00Speaker 2: with one eye.
- 36:01Speaker 1: Yeah, you have turned into it what you are?
- 36:05Speaker 5: Now?
- 36:05Speaker 1: One is that one?
- 36:06Speaker 7: I don't know? Then? Now I'm picking one of them?
- 36:09Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, I like it. It's on a need
- 36:13Speaker 1: to know basis.
- 36:14Speaker 10: I like it.
- 36:15Speaker 8: Huh what about your junior adapt adapted junior?
- 36:19Speaker 7: Oh, I'm introvert.
- 36:21Speaker 1: I've seen you in social settings. You seem to be
- 36:23Speaker 1: kind of the party.
- 36:25Speaker 9: Yeah, he's like I was on the stage something like that.
- 36:28Speaker 1: That's different.
- 36:29Speaker 9: But as soon as I get off, I don't want
- 36:30Speaker 9: to talk to people.
- 36:31Speaker 1: Oh okay, all right, I'm all right, all right, nephew. Introvert,
- 36:36Speaker 1: extrovert or outrovert.
- 36:39Speaker 10: I'm just I'm just vert. I'm just vert. I just don't.
- 36:42Speaker 7: I don't. I don't want to be around nobody. Which
- 36:44Speaker 7: one if you described surely as the stupidest.
- 36:50Speaker 6: Vert vert, stupid vert, whatever, stupid vert, whichever one of
- 36:57Speaker 6: them is the stupidest.
- 37:02Speaker 7: Pretty much?
- 37:05Speaker 1: All right, thanks guys.

- 40:18Speaker 9: me to be an artist like him.
- 40:20Speaker 5: I know, I just.
- 40:22Speaker 7: I don't. I just you know, I don't see where
- 40:25Speaker 7: it relates.
- 40:26Speaker 10: I don't see nothing like a Langston hughes out of
- 40:29Speaker 10: you or age.
- 40:32Speaker 7: You ain't me your most death. I just don't see
- 40:36Speaker 7: that in them.
- 40:39Speaker 10: Yeah, you're almost most depth, I'm sure, ain't you?
- 40:42Speaker 7: You're right?
- 40:43Speaker 5: He ain't.
- 40:44Speaker 1: You can't be a poet. You have to be you.
- 40:47Speaker 1: You need more rules, you know.
- 40:49Speaker 10: Right, that's right?
- 40:51Speaker 11: Just you.
- 40:52Speaker 1: Yeah, I thought it was an improvement.
- 40:54Speaker 5: I did.
- 40:55Speaker 9: Matter of fact, I saw most depth, Shirley. I met
- 40:57Speaker 9: most depth and walked off on him.
- 40:58Speaker 7: I didn't need.
- 41:03Speaker 1: He got his note phone. Thank you for that poem. June,
- 41:07Speaker 1: You're coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour.
- 41:09Speaker 8: A woman faces jail time after she burned her boyfriend's
- 41:13Speaker 8: clothes on the barbecue grill.
- 41:16Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right afternoon. You're listening to the
- 41:19Speaker 1: same Hardy morning show.
- 41:26Speaker 8: A Sheldon, Texas woman has been charged in connection with
- 41:29Speaker 8: a large apartment fire that damaged thirteen apartments and left
- 41:34Speaker 8: seventeen residents displaced. According to Fox News, the fire started
- 41:38Speaker 8: after a domestic disturbance and the female tried to burn
- 41:41Speaker 8: some of her boyfriend's clothing on a barbecue pit on
- 41:44Speaker 8: a balcony. The girlfriend attempted to put the fire out
- 41:48Speaker 8: and thought she did, but it reignited and spread to
- 41:51Speaker 8: the attic of other apartments. She has been charged with
- 41:55Speaker 8: arson and was taken to the hospital for unknown reasons
- 41:58Speaker 8: prior to being taken to jail.
- 42:00Speaker 1: He uh, this is sad. We're all involved. But here's
- 42:04Speaker 1: the question. What makes someone that angry? How do you
- 42:08Speaker 1: get that mad?
- 42:09Speaker 7: Another one?
- 42:11Speaker 10: That's another one.
- 42:12Speaker 2: You're gonna be in jail for a minute. You'd have
- 42:15Speaker 2: messed up all these other people's homes. Yeah, it's something
- 42:24Speaker 2: he did to you. Now, you'd have messed all these
- 42:26Speaker 2: other people's houses up. Yeah, destroyed property. Now seventeen people
- 42:31Speaker 2: displaced because you're stupid.
- 42:34Speaker 8: Be hap Yeah, what's the maddest you? You've ever made
- 42:40Speaker 8: your significant other? Your wife, your girlfriend, whatever?
- 42:43Speaker 7: I like that my clothes on a grill?
- 42:46Speaker 1: Uhh never you never, You've never really you expect us
- 42:53Speaker 1: to believe that.
- 42:54Speaker 7: Yes, I have not made my wife mad like that.
- 42:56Speaker 1: No, not to a woman, man, have you Okay, well
- 43:01Speaker 1: let me rephrase it. Have you ever made a woman
- 43:03Speaker 1: mad before?
- 43:06Speaker 12: Hell?
- 43:06Speaker 10: Yeah, you had a whole I had a whole flat
- 43:12Speaker 10: screen thrown at me. Yes.
- 43:15Speaker 7: Wow, she's strong.
- 43:17Speaker 10: She was real strong.
- 43:18Speaker 7: Real strong.
- 43:19Speaker 1: I think that was a throwback.
- 43:27Speaker 7: Tommy had this girlfriend. I used to call her slam
- 43:31Speaker 7: Remember she said, why do you call her slab? I said,
- 43:34Speaker 7: have you seen her back?
- 43:43Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 43:43Speaker 4: He used to.
- 43:44Speaker 1: Yeah, you know he used to let us wipe back.
- 43:47Speaker 1: So have you made someone that mad?
- 43:49Speaker 10: Though, Junior?
- 43:50Speaker 1: You made someone that mad? I'm mad? Have you ever
- 43:53Speaker 1: made a woman?
- 43:54Speaker 8: What does she do?
- 43:55Speaker 5: What?
- 43:55Speaker 10: Don't know?
- 43:55Speaker 4: What did I do?
- 43:56Speaker 7: I woke up?
- 43:58Speaker 1: Uh huh, what's not just breathing?
- 44:02Speaker 9: And she saw me and got mad? You up today too?
- 44:09Speaker 9: I just gotta go sit down somewhere.
- 44:11Speaker 7: You can't do nothing.
- 44:13Speaker 1: Yeah, that's that's pretty much.
- 44:14Speaker 7: I think the question.
- 44:16Speaker 10: I think the question was how mad at somebody made
- 44:18Speaker 10: y'all and what did y'all do?
- 44:20Speaker 5: Mm hm?
- 44:23Speaker 1: The question is the key of car isn't it that
- 44:26Speaker 1: we know that?
- 44:29Speaker 3: Well, let's say this, let's hold allegedly allegedly and to
- 44:34Speaker 3: the story the lady is innocent and to proven guilty.
- 44:36Speaker 7: But that's a whole apartment on the ground.
- 44:42Speaker 1: That's terrible.
- 44:43Speaker 3: It's the revenge, it's the hurt, it's the pain that
- 44:48Speaker 3: she felt. But she didn't control. I mean, you know,
- 44:52Speaker 3: we could be real all jokes aside. She didn't control
- 44:54Speaker 3: her anger and her pain, and she wanted to get
- 44:58Speaker 3: him back, and yeah, went too.
- 45:00Speaker 1: Far, She went too far. So yeah, I mean she
- 45:04Speaker 1: did attempt to put the fire out, but it reignited.
- 45:07Speaker 1: So that's dangerous.
- 45:09Speaker 10: Yeah, it really is.
- 45:10Speaker 8: You don't play like that. You're in a in an
- 45:12Speaker 8: apartment building on a balcony. You know a lot of
- 45:16Speaker 8: apartment buildings don't even let you barbecue on your balcony.
- 45:20Speaker 3: To control your revenge. From what I heard, you read
- 45:27Speaker 3: about it.
- 45:28Speaker 1: You read about it. Yeah, what time I saw on line?
- 45:34Speaker 7: That sounds like something you learned in therapy.
- 45:39Speaker 1: See what's the maddest? What's the maddest?
- 45:45Speaker 2: I didn't have somebody trying to If it wasn't for
- 45:49Speaker 2: this mailbox, I'll probably be dead. She ran a cop
- 45:54Speaker 2: on the curve trying to kick me for that mailbox.

- 46:02Speaker 2: I tear up.

- 46:10Speaker 7: Word for that mailbox.

- 56:50Speaker 1: Nep you, Thank you.
- 56:52Speaker 8: Subject, New Year, New body. Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm a
- 56:56Speaker 8: twenty nine year old married man and I got married
- 56:59Speaker 8: two years go. When I got married, I had a
- 57:02Speaker 8: baby on the way by my wife and another baby
- 57:05Speaker 8: on the way by a lady that I had a
- 57:07Speaker 8: one night stand with. I manned up and admitted everything
- 57:11Speaker 8: the week before my wedding. My fiance was so caught
- 57:15Speaker 8: up and getting married that she didn't react to what
- 57:18Speaker 8: I told her. I expected her to yell and scream,
- 57:22Speaker 8: but she stayed calm, cool and collected until we got
- 57:27Speaker 8: home from our honeymoon. That's when she flipped the script
- 57:31Speaker 8: and got evil. She said that from here on out
- 57:34Speaker 8: we have a marriage of convenience, and she will do
- 57:37Speaker 8: whatever she wants to do when she wants to do it.
- 57:41Speaker 8: She said, we will still do things as a couple
- 57:44Speaker 8: in public, but that's it. We argued for a full week,
- 57:48Speaker 8: but in the end she got her way and she
- 57:50Speaker 8: is living her best life. Usually when I am at
- 57:55Speaker 8: home taking care of our daughter, Stephen Shirley, my wife
- 57:59Speaker 8: goes out a couple of nights a week and she
- 58:01Speaker 8: comes home late or the next day. Sometimes she thinks
- 58:06Speaker 8: this is how she's getting even with me, but I
- 58:08Speaker 8: told her it makes her look like trash when our
- 58:11Speaker 8: mutual friends see her out drunk without her husband. I
- 58:14Speaker 8: worry about her well being a lot and asked her
- 58:17Speaker 8: if it would be better if we separated for a while.
- 58:21Speaker 8: She keeps saying that she wants me to suffer, but
- 58:23Speaker 8: this has gone on long enough. She bragged to me
- 58:26Speaker 8: recently about this new man she met, and she had
- 58:30Speaker 8: the nerve to say new year, new body to me.
- 58:34Speaker 8: She's steadily collecting bodies, different men and got me out
- 58:38Speaker 8: here looking like a fool.
- 58:40Speaker 1: When is enough enough? Is this what I deserve?
- 58:43Speaker 8: Or is it time to cut my losses and divorce
- 58:46Speaker 8: this woman? When is enough enough? When you say enough
- 58:50Speaker 8: is enough?
- 58:51Speaker 1: Okay?
- 58:52Speaker 8: When you get sick and tired of this? Your woman,
- 58:55Speaker 8: your wife, like you said in the letter, is evil.
- 58:58Speaker 8: I mean, this game she's playing is not about payback.
- 59:01Speaker 8: It's about her cheating and doing whatever she wants to
- 59:04Speaker 8: do with convenience and the security of marriage. She's holding
- 59:08Speaker 8: you and this marriage hostage for her own selfish gain.
- 59:13Speaker 8: And while you're not blameless in this situation because you
- 59:17Speaker 8: did sleep with someone else unprotected, but at least you
- 59:19Speaker 8: took accountability and were willing to work it out. It
- 59:25Speaker 8: doesn't make it right what you did, but you manned up.
- 59:27Speaker 8: She took advantage though, of everything. How long are you
- 59:32Speaker 8: supposed to pay for this? I mean, what kind of
- 59:34Speaker 8: life is this? Are you supposed to pay for this
- 59:36Speaker 8: for the rest of your life while you're married to
- 59:39Speaker 8: this woman? What kind of life is not going to be?
- 59:42Speaker 8: Marriage with no love, no nothing, Your wife out drunk, cheating,
- 59:47Speaker 8: bring different men.
- 59:48Speaker 1: This is craziness.
- 59:50Speaker 10: This is Look.
- 59:52Speaker 8: I hope you're taking care of the other baby that
- 59:55Speaker 8: you had, and now you need to take care of yourself.
- 59:59Speaker 8: If this was a real I could see you staying
- 1:00:01Speaker 8: and trying to work it out. But in this case,
- 1:00:03Speaker 8: you have every single reason to walk away from this woman.
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: Steve, Wow, I'm a little surprised in your answer, surely
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: because of what the man did. I know you say
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: that he's not blameless either, But both of these people,
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: both of these people creating a situation that they bought
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: to us that there isn't a fix for because each
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: one decided to use their own form of fixing, and
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: each method, each one of their method of fixingness has
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: worse than the situation. So it's a twenty nine year
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: old man. He got married two years ago, and then
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: when you get married, his fiance was having a baby,
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: but also another lady he had one night staying with
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: was having a baby at the same time. He said,
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: I manned up, admitted and admitted everything the week before
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: my wind. Okay, now you can say I manned up
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: and then admitted it, but that don't I got you, bro,
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: I got what you're trying to say. But because you
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: manned up does not excuse the act itself. The act
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: was a pretty big act.
- 1:01:31Speaker 7: Man.
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: You not only slept with somebody else that somebody else
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: is pregnant with another child at the same time your
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: wife had her child. And even though you admitted it
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: a week before, guess what her fix was, I'm gonna
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: get married anyway.
- 1:01:55Speaker 7: She kept it to herself.
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: She played the game out, had to wear and everybody
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: over you took the pictures, You ate the cake. Y'all
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: even went on the honeymoon. She waited till she got
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: back to tell you how upset she was with it.
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: You expected her to be mad and all this here,
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: but no, y'all got home from the honeymoon, that's when
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: she flipped the script and got evil. Now is that
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: right for her to do it that way? I'm gonna
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: tell you why it's wrong, because now now I think
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: you did the right thing by going in there and
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: telling her. Because how you're gonna keep this a secret.
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: I actually know somebody who did that very same thing
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: and kept the secret and somebody else told on him.
- 1:02:49Speaker 7: Yeah, so I understand.
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: Now when I come back, I'm gonna show you how
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: this is backfired on both of y'all, And then I
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: tell you.
- 1:02:58Speaker 11: What I do.
- 1:03:00Speaker 8: All right, Hang on, Steve, we'll have part two of
- 1:03:03Speaker 8: your response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:03:06Speaker 8: Today's Strawberry letter subject New Year, New body will get
- 1:03:10Speaker 8: back into it right after this.
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 1:03:51Speaker 8: All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:53Speaker 8: The subject is New Year, New Body, twenty nine.
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: You old man married to a woman who was having
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: his baby, but he also had an affair and the
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: woman he had an affair with in a one night stand,
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: so he says it's having a baby. Also, a week
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: before the wedding, he say he manned up and admitted
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: to his wife what she had did.
- 1:04:15Speaker 7: He expected her to yell and all like that. She
- 1:04:18Speaker 7: didn't yell. That's what see Isla left then.
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: When she didn't yell.
- 1:04:25Speaker 7: Wasn't no yelling, wasn't no hollering all this here.
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: And I knew this is not I can't go to
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: sleep around her. That Mada came to that. But anyway,
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: she was so caught up in the wedding. She went
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: on and followed it through and waited till after y'all
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: got home for the honeymoon.
- 1:04:47Speaker 7: And that's when she flipped the script and became evil.
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: And she told this man from here on out, we
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: now have a marriage of convenience, and she gonna do
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: whatever she want to do, whenever she want to do it.
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: She said, now in public, were gonna still do things
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: as a couple, but that's it. Then you said, we
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: argued for a full week, but in the end she
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: got her way, right there. Dog, Now you suffer from
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: guilt because you did wrong, did the girl wrong. She
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: played you all the way through the marriage and now
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: he come to get back. But see the way both
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: of y'all chose to handle this is so ignorant, on
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: so many levels. I'm gonna marry you anyway, but now
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: it's a marriage of convenience. I'm gonna do what I
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: want to do. That ain't no life, man. But then
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: you agree to it because you felt like you know
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: you had wrong to her. So now what she decided
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: to do, she gonna go out living her best life.
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: You at home with your daughter. She out a couple
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: nights a week, come home late or the next day. Man,
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: ain't nobody sitting still for this hire. I'm at the
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: house with the baby. You don't come home till late
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: or sometimes not at all. And she thinks this how
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: she gonna get even with me, But I told it
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: makes her look like trash when our mutual friends see
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: how drunk without her husband. You sitting at the house
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: accepting this. This is the agreement, the arrangement that you
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: agree to. Or I'm pretty sure you didn't think you
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: had this in mind. I worry about her well being
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: a lot, and ask her if it would be better
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: if we separated for a while. She keeps saying she
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: wants me to suffer, But this is going on long enough.
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: Then she told you recently about this new man she met,
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: and she had the nerve to say new year, new body.
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: She studied collecting bodies different men.
- 1:06:56Speaker 7: Man, what.
- 1:06:59Speaker 11: Man?
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: Listen to me, This don't make no sense. And you
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: sitting here and I can't really detecting the letter. How
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: long this has gone on? But it's gone on for
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: a while, at least two years. You're not punishing me
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: for two years. I'm not asking your permission. Should we
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: separate anyway? She got me out here looking like a food.
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: When is noth enough? Is this what I deserve?
- 1:07:29Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: You deserve all that? Or is it time to cut
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: my losses and divorce this woman? See, listen to me.
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: Both of y'all made stupid decisions. You initiated this with
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: your infidelity, her trying to get you back by marrying
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: you anyway, but then having this marriage of convenience to
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: do what I want to do. You at the house
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: with the baby, she and hit out in the street
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: with these men. Now she coming home telling you about
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: these men, mat girlby This marriage was doomed from the beginning,
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: from the very beginning, and both of you all solutions
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: was dooming the marriage further from there was no reconciliation here,
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: There was no resolve here. This marriage is all get back.
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: You ain't even said, y'all having no relations.
- 1:08:28Speaker 7: At all?
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: What Shirley twenty nine? They're really young too, he's twenty nine.
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: I ain't never been that young, you know what I mean.
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: I'm not finna play this game with you. No, you're
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: not doing it. You aren't doing this to me if
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: I'm seventeen, I'm gonna figure this one now. Wait, I'm
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: at the house watching the dog.
- 1:08:50Speaker 7: And you out with what.
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: No, So both of them's decision was wrong. Agreed to
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: let her do this marriage of convenience. I have stopped
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: it right there. You're not finna do We're not finna
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: play this game now. I said, I'm sorry. I know
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: sorry is not.
- 1:09:11Speaker 7: Good enough at this point. I know I damaged your
- 1:09:14Speaker 7: trust and faith and all like this, My bad.
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: This the marriage should have never happened if this was
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: going to be the fix, because now you just got
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: a complete mess right here, all because you did what
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: you did, but all because now she's doing what she's doing,
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: and all because y'all decided this is the way we're
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: gonna fix it. There's no resolve here, there's no forgiveness here,
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: there's no resolution here. Y'all need therapy, but I'm getting
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: a divorce.
- 1:09:51Speaker 7: Yeah.

- 1:11:27Speaker 10: You get that much money. How much money was he making?
- 1:11:31Speaker 10: What was it about nine.
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: Big something like that.
- 1:11:34Speaker 9: How much was the junior like my nine million?
- 1:11:37Speaker 4: Oh that?
- 1:11:39Speaker 11: Oh?
- 1:11:40Speaker 12: Before that, before that, he was just an assistant coach.
- 1:11:42Speaker 12: He was like right around quarter of a million something
- 1:11:45Speaker 12: like that. Maybe, But now you lost that money.
- 1:11:48Speaker 9: I wouldn't talk to nobody other than my wife.
- 1:11:51Speaker 11: That's it.
- 1:11:51Speaker 9: I don't care nobody.
- 1:11:53Speaker 4: He said.
- 1:11:53Speaker 5: There.
- 1:11:54Speaker 9: It took itself down there.
- 1:11:56Speaker 7: Yeah, a deal fellas. Ain't nobody perfect. I got that right.
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: But you gotta quit setting yourself up with all these
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: imbalanced relationships, these assistance, these kids, these now it ain't
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: right no matter how you do it.
- 1:12:17Speaker 7: Let let me, let let me just say this, and
- 1:12:19Speaker 7: I haven't always. I'm just admit. The best thing you
- 1:12:25Speaker 7: can do is just go home, Bru. You can't get
- 1:12:28Speaker 7: in no trouble if you go home.
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: If you decide to be tricky, are there not enough
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: examples of how not to be tricky?
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: And you're under a microscope? You're under public scrutiny anyway.
- 1:12:44Speaker 2: Already they got dough balls. Now when you go up
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: to the door, they record that they got they got uh,
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: they got cameras everywhere, Bru, we do just go home it.
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: Let's talk like we're on the front porch. You know
- 1:13:04Speaker 2: he married to a white woman.
- 1:13:05Speaker 7: Y'all know that.
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: Yes, I just had to go front porch for him.
- 1:13:10Speaker 10: You know who he was messing around with? Well, a
- 1:13:13Speaker 10: white woman, y'all know that. Uh, I'm just putting it out.
- 1:13:18Speaker 7: I'm just putting it out.
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: If you got a woman at home, what did you
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: mess that? Just gave doctor Umar all he needed for that.
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: If you got one at home, what if you got
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: a white woman at home?
- 1:13:30Speaker 7: What did you with another white woman?
- 1:13:32Speaker 2: It doesn't make sense. What's your doing? If you don't cheat,
- 1:13:37Speaker 2: you gotta cheat round.
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: Around?
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: Yeah, trap black girlted, that's what doing white women.
- 1:13:49Speaker 5: What is.
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: I think We're clear?
- 1:13:54Speaker 5: All right?
- 1:13:54Speaker 8: Coming up at the top of the hour, a wife
- 1:13:57Speaker 8: is questioning her husband's good deeds and she needs some advice.
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: We'll try to help her. Right after this, you're.
- 1:14:03Speaker 8: Listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. This is from
- 1:14:10Speaker 8: Alexandra in Atlantic City. Alexandra says, my husband spent a
- 1:14:14Speaker 8: significant amount of money at a store on toys and
- 1:14:17Speaker 8: children's clothing. He said he was shopping and swiped his
- 1:14:21Speaker 8: card for a lady that looked like she needed help
- 1:14:23Speaker 8: for the holidays. I want to believe him because he
- 1:14:26Speaker 8: didn't hide it from me. But then I saw a
- 1:14:29Speaker 8: picture the lady sent him and she was wearing lingerie.
- 1:14:32Speaker 8: She looked like she didn't need financial help.
- 1:14:34Speaker 5: Uh huh.
- 1:14:35Speaker 8: He swore that he hasn't seen or talked to her
- 1:14:38Speaker 8: since that day. Then, uh, why does she have his
- 1:14:42Speaker 8: phone number? And why does she send that picture a
- 1:14:45Speaker 8: picture like that to him?
- 1:14:47Speaker 7: Please please listen.
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: When I swiped my car, yeah, I'm going to help
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: up with these toys for these kids.
- 1:15:00Speaker 10: She had.
- 1:15:01Speaker 7: It was some lingerie in the basket.
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: Too, as toys do not go with lingerie.
- 1:15:07Speaker 10: Sorry, ain't but one basket you gotta put everything in number.
- 1:15:13Speaker 7: Yeah, she's at Tars and Toys.
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: We don't we're not shopping at Target right now. You
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: know that this boycot.
- 1:15:23Speaker 7: And that's how they got in there. And then.
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: The well, see when I swiped my card, you know
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: them them chips had your information in it, uh huh,
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: and so that's probably how she got my phone number.
- 1:15:39Speaker 7: And then she just sent me the pictures of uh.
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: What, let's let's back up to the chip. Let's back up.
- 1:15:51Speaker 3: So when you pay the amount, you're saying she got
- 1:15:57Speaker 3: your phone number? When you said the amount?
- 1:16:01Speaker 7: Is that probably? Yeah?
- 1:16:05Speaker 4: How did?
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: How is your phone number with your bank card?
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: Because I had my wallet in my hand about the
- 1:16:12Speaker 2: whole thing, and when I swiped it be stealing your information?
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: And so she so he paid for her stuff and
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: she sent the lingerie picture as a thank you.
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: That's how she said, because you know, because she probably
- 1:16:25Speaker 2: gold did a high note.
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: How does she get your phone number?
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: The phone number was on the I just told you,
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: I had my wallet in my hand when I pulled
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: my card out and swiped it.
- 1:16:36Speaker 5: You I D.
- 1:16:38Speaker 7: That's all they did. And now that my I D
- 1:16:41Speaker 7: was on that is.
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: On your I D sir, what.
- 1:16:50Speaker 4: She did?
- 1:16:51Speaker 3: Phone number is not on your ID on your wallet.
- 1:16:54Speaker 3: Let me see your phone number.
- 1:16:56Speaker 7: How does your bank notify you of a fraud alert?
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: The bank will text me on my phone?
- 1:17:07Speaker 7: Right, hello?
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: Hello?
- 1:17:10Speaker 5: What? Hell?
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: I don't know?
- 1:17:17Speaker 4: Thank you?
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: What the bank has my number?
- 1:17:20Speaker 7: Thank you?
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: And the bank got my credit card number. And now
- 1:17:23Speaker 2: the stove got the credit card number. So how the
- 1:17:26Speaker 2: store ain't got the phone number. If you have gave
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: somebody your credit card number, you don't think they can
- 1:17:30Speaker 2: get your phone number.
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: Whoa get the phone number from.
- 1:17:38Speaker 7: The clerk at the stove, the work to your phone number.
- 1:17:42Speaker 7: It's probably working together.
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: It's a scale.
- 1:17:50Speaker 8: Uh, it's crazy, man to explain the picture. Explain that again,
- 1:17:56Speaker 8: Because he told his wife that he had no idea
- 1:18:00Speaker 8: why she sent him that picture. He has a scene
- 1:18:04Speaker 8: or talked to her since that day.
- 1:18:06Speaker 7: Right, right?
- 1:18:08Speaker 4: Right?
- 1:18:08Speaker 5: What? Right? What?
- 1:18:12Speaker 7: I ain't seen or talked to her.
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: Oh you saw the picture.
- 1:18:17Speaker 7: At the picture. But she probably sent the picture by accident, accident.
- 1:18:23Speaker 3: All of this to get the phone up, and that's
- 1:18:25Speaker 3: an accident that she sent the picture.
- 1:18:29Speaker 2: She would probably say it, but hey, but I ain't
- 1:18:31Speaker 2: call her back though. Oh you know y'all running a scam.
- 1:18:37Speaker 2: I'm not gonna be a part of this.

- 1:19:21Speaker 8: The research show that if you want to increase your
- 1:19:24Speaker 8: chances of finding love this year, you might want to
- 1:19:27Speaker 8: take some cooking classes, as sixty five percent of respondents

- 1:25:24Speaker 7: Usual, Junior has a question for you.
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: What you got Junior?
- 1:25:27Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 1:25:28Speaker 9: Un, well, you know, what's the new year?
- 1:25:29Speaker 7: Man?
- 1:25:29Speaker 12: And how do how do we view what happened to
- 1:25:33Speaker 12: us last year and not make sure we want to
- 1:25:35Speaker 12: bring it into twenty twenty six?
- 1:25:37Speaker 7: Well?
- 1:25:39Speaker 2: How do we view last year and make sure we
- 1:25:41Speaker 2: don't bring it into twenty twenty six? I think here's
- 1:25:44Speaker 2: the best thing for people to realize.
- 1:25:48Speaker 5: Is that.
- 1:25:50Speaker 2: Just number one, right off the top of my head,
- 1:25:52Speaker 2: as you asked me, that God is in the forgiving business.
- 1:25:57Speaker 2: God is in the redemption business. God is in the
- 1:26:01Speaker 2: saving business. If you've survived twenty twenty five, why would
- 1:26:10Speaker 2: you bring the things you survive from into twenty twenty six.
- 1:26:15Speaker 2: That's what blocks the majority of people's blessings that I know.
- 1:26:20Speaker 2: They keep belaboring the point, they keep harboring on the misstep,
- 1:26:26Speaker 2: They keep wallowing in the mud, when nowhere in the
- 1:26:32Speaker 2: Bible does it tell you you have to do that.
- 1:26:36Speaker 2: So why do people do it? Why do you keep
- 1:26:40Speaker 2: holding yourself to the mistake you made years ago? If
- 1:26:44Speaker 2: you know, if you hadn't had that baby out of
- 1:26:46Speaker 2: wed like, things would have been No, yeah, things would
- 1:26:49Speaker 2: have been different, but then that person wouldn't be here either,
- 1:26:54Speaker 2: you know, stop beating yourself up, man unnecessarily, because what
- 1:26:59Speaker 2: off in times, what you thinks are mistakes, were just
- 1:27:04Speaker 2: actually valuable lessons that you needed.
- 1:27:06Speaker 7: To learn along the way.
- 1:27:08Speaker 2: Now we don't appreciate the lessons we got to learn,
- 1:27:10Speaker 2: but we are the reasons why we have to learn them.
- 1:27:14Speaker 2: So stop wallowing in your misery. Stop holding onto your past.
- 1:27:20Speaker 2: Number one, I'm really good at not beating myself up
- 1:27:25Speaker 2: about my past.
- 1:27:27Speaker 7: Now Have I done it? Pride before? Yes, I have.
- 1:27:30Speaker 7: I'm human.
- 1:27:32Speaker 2: I felt guilty about something I did as a younger man,
- 1:27:35Speaker 2: and I carried it for years. I even allowed some
- 1:27:40Speaker 2: people to hold me to what I did as a
- 1:27:44Speaker 2: younger man. And then I just stopped. You know, I
- 1:27:49Speaker 2: was talking to I was listening to a couple of sermons.
- 1:27:51Speaker 2: I was talking to Bishue Jakes one time. Man, I was,
- 1:27:54Speaker 2: I want you know, I ain't never went to therapy
- 1:27:56Speaker 2: or nothing, but I just got to look at I
- 1:27:58Speaker 2: was reading some stuff one time, and I just learned, Man,
- 1:28:02Speaker 2: a lot of times people hold you to your past
- 1:28:04Speaker 2: because they because they use it as a manipulative tool,
- 1:28:08Speaker 2: a manipulation tool.
- 1:28:10Speaker 7: Manipulation tool. A lot of people hold you to they
- 1:28:13Speaker 7: won't let you go past. Oh you, thank you all that.
- 1:28:16Speaker 10: Now.
- 1:28:16Speaker 7: I remember when we used to Yeah, I remember that too,
- 1:28:19Speaker 7: But I don't do that no more.
- 1:28:21Speaker 2: There are people that I know who still hold me
- 1:28:26Speaker 2: to a mistake I made when I was twenty seven
- 1:28:29Speaker 2: years old, twenty seven.
- 1:28:33Speaker 7: I know some people still writing about it, what I
- 1:28:37Speaker 7: did at twenty seven. I'm sixty eight.
- 1:28:42Speaker 2: I'm forty one years older than I was when I
- 1:28:47Speaker 2: was twenty seven. That person I was at twenty seven
- 1:28:51Speaker 2: he don't even exist no more.
- 1:28:54Speaker 7: He ain't even he's not even in the universe as
- 1:28:59Speaker 7: a matter.
- 1:29:00Speaker 2: As a matter of fact, none of the ramifications of
- 1:29:04Speaker 2: my mistakes at twenty seven no longer exists because they
- 1:29:08Speaker 2: no longer ramifications. All lotter be ramifications for a long time.
- 1:29:13Speaker 2: But man, now don't you don't and shouldn't bring the
- 1:29:19Speaker 2: misery of twenty twenty five into twenty twenty six. Now
- 1:29:22Speaker 2: you can bring the lessons you've learned. You can bring
- 1:29:25Speaker 2: the blessings you've earned, well not earned, but received. You
- 1:29:30Speaker 2: could do all that, but keep all that negative stuff
- 1:29:32Speaker 2: back there, and a good place to start. Two places start.
- 1:29:39Speaker 2: Number one in your mind. You stop bringing up old
- 1:29:43Speaker 2: stuff to yourself. That's number one. And number two, get
- 1:29:46Speaker 2: rid of all the people in your life who constantly
- 1:29:48Speaker 2: bring it up your past to remind you of what
- 1:29:51Speaker 2: you used to do. If you get rid of those
- 1:29:53Speaker 2: two things first of all, And your mind is the
- 1:29:55Speaker 2: easy one to fix, because you got total control of that.
- 1:29:59Speaker 2: It's the other people that just won't let you live
- 1:30:04Speaker 2: it down. They just won't let you forget. I'll tell
- 1:30:09Speaker 2: you something, man, that I learned. You have loaned some
- 1:30:12Speaker 2: money to a person more than once, and then they
- 1:30:16Speaker 2: came back, maybe third or fourth time, and you decided
- 1:30:20Speaker 2: not to loan it to them, And all of a sudden,
- 1:30:21Speaker 2: you ain't sugar honey ice tea. Now, all of a sudden,
- 1:30:29Speaker 2: because you done got tired of being used, You no
- 1:30:33Speaker 2: longer want to be stepped on and unappreciated. You made
- 1:30:38Speaker 2: a decision for yourself. Now, all of a sudden, you
- 1:30:42Speaker 2: ain't nothing no more.
- 1:30:44Speaker 4: Now.
- 1:30:45Speaker 2: The narrative they going around is they went to you
- 1:30:48Speaker 2: for help, and you didn't help them. They ain't mentioned
- 1:30:52Speaker 2: all the times that you did help them. But these
- 1:30:56Speaker 2: are good lessons to learn, and these are good people
