- 2:03Speaker 2: Good morning everybody. You are listening to the voice, Come on,
- 2:08Speaker 2: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:13Speaker 2: radio show.
- 2:14Speaker 8: Hell man.
- 2:15Speaker 2: God is in the blessing business all day every day.
- 2:18Speaker 2: God got hundreds of millions of blessings that he passes
- 2:22Speaker 2: out every day. All I want to do is be
- 2:27Speaker 2: the recipient that I'm the recipient of what He has
- 2:31Speaker 2: for me. That's all I want. I just want God's favor,
- 2:37Speaker 2: and I go. I want God's blessings. You know, of
- 2:41Speaker 2: course I need his mercy and his grace, but I
- 2:45Speaker 2: just want his blessings and his favor. I want. I
- 2:50Speaker 2: want that in my life because it does things for
- 2:53Speaker 2: me that I'm absolutely incapable of doing for myself. And
- 2:57Speaker 2: I've been a recipient of many of those. And you
- 3:00Speaker 2: can be the recipient of them too. You already are, really, really,
- 3:05Speaker 2: you already are. If you're getting up every morning, that's
- 3:09Speaker 2: a blessing. If you're getting one day closer to anything
- 3:13Speaker 2: you're trying to accomplish, that's a blessing. But now let
- 3:17Speaker 2: me talk to you about this part right here, folks,
- 3:19Speaker 2: because this is the part that message people up a
- 3:21Speaker 2: great deal.
- 3:22Speaker 8: What happens when you get off track?
- 3:26Speaker 2: What is that?
- 3:27Speaker 8: What does that mean? When you get off track?
- 3:32Speaker 3: See?
- 3:33Speaker 8: I've been off track.
- 3:34Speaker 2: I can't tell you how many times, and it happens
- 3:37Speaker 2: in so many aspects of your life. But what is
- 3:40Speaker 2: it that makes getting off track so debilitating to some people?
- 3:45Speaker 2: You know, there are some people who want theay off track.
- 3:48Speaker 2: They of course, they off the dream. They on to
- 3:52Speaker 2: something else. And you cannot allow the fact that you've
- 3:56Speaker 2: gotten off track to stop you can. I tell you something.
- 4:03Speaker 2: Everybody gets off track. There are people who are living
- 4:08Speaker 2: their life's dreams in spite of getting off track. See
- 4:14Speaker 2: what happens when you get off track? Here's the simple
- 4:17Speaker 2: thing to do. The simple thing is just to get
- 4:20Speaker 2: back on track. Now that's that's But that's easier said
- 4:23Speaker 2: than done. Ain't it, Steve. Yeah. Because see, people, when
- 4:27Speaker 2: you get off track, here's some of the things that happen.
- 4:30Speaker 2: See you get the here come to nay says some
- 4:34Speaker 2: of them from the outside, some of them internally.
- 4:37Speaker 8: Here's what gets said when you get off track. See,
- 4:41Speaker 8: I told you, I told you.
- 4:45Speaker 2: You know you.
- 4:46Speaker 8: You start hearing that it's not for you. Okay, this
- 4:53Speaker 8: is all just because you got off track.
- 4:55Speaker 2: It's not for you.
- 4:58Speaker 8: Okay. Here's another one.
- 5:00Speaker 2: Ain't meant to be. You can hear it all. You
- 5:03Speaker 2: could say it. Well, I guess it's just not meant
- 5:06Speaker 2: to be. But let me ask you a question, though,
- 5:11Speaker 2: who made the rule that when you get off track
- 5:15Speaker 2: you can't get back on? Who made that rule? Where
- 5:20Speaker 2: has that written that once you get off track you
- 5:23Speaker 2: can't get back on? See, because I'm gonna tell you something, folks,
- 5:28Speaker 2: there's no such rule. As a matter of fact, it's
- 5:32Speaker 2: quite the opposite. See, everybody in pursuit of a dream,
- 5:38Speaker 2: a goal, an aspiration, or mission is going to get
- 5:43Speaker 2: off track. Sometimes you're going to get derailed. There are
- 5:47Speaker 2: going to be days where you're not going to get
- 5:50Speaker 2: it right. There are going to be days where you
- 5:52Speaker 2: feel like giving up there's going to be days when
- 5:54Speaker 2: you're just gonna flat out get it wrong.
- 5:57Speaker 8: That's the journey.
- 5:58Speaker 2: But let me tell you something. Every successful person that
- 6:01Speaker 2: I know, ever met, talked to, set out, and chopped
- 6:04Speaker 2: it up with, have shared one thing in common. We
- 6:08Speaker 2: all get off track. We all get it wrong along
- 6:13Speaker 2: the way. I don't care who the person is. The
- 6:15Speaker 2: president got it wrong along the way. Your pastor got
- 6:20Speaker 2: it wrong along the way. Quiet director guy got it
- 6:24Speaker 2: wrong along the way. The principle at your school got
- 6:27Speaker 2: it wrong along the way. The valve of victorian of
- 6:30Speaker 2: your class got it wrong along the way. The star
- 6:35Speaker 2: of the team got it wrong along the way. They've
- 6:40Speaker 2: all been off track. Your boss down at your job,
- 6:44Speaker 2: he got it wrong along the way. Your immediate supervisor
- 6:48Speaker 2: got it wrong along the way. Everybody I know that
- 6:53Speaker 2: has any measure of success in every level that you
- 6:57Speaker 2: call success, however you want to label it, has gotten
- 7:00Speaker 2: off track. As a matter of fact, it's impossible. Listen
- 7:07Speaker 2: to me, it is impossible not to get off track
- 7:13Speaker 2: in pursuit of your dreams, goals, visions, aspirations. It is impossible.
- 7:20Speaker 2: Don't you let nobody tell you that they got through
- 7:23Speaker 2: life unscathed that they made it because they were just
- 7:27Speaker 2: so determined, and I would let nothing turn me back. Yeah,
- 7:30Speaker 2: you might not have let nothing turn you back because
- 7:33Speaker 2: you hear Oh, but you thought about it. Oh you
- 7:37Speaker 2: thought about it on days when you was off track.
- 7:40Speaker 2: But see, people don't like to tell the whole story.
- 7:42Speaker 2: They just want you to think as much as you
- 7:44Speaker 2: can about them. So when they tell you their story,
- 7:47Speaker 2: they leave out the stuff along the way. It was
- 7:51Speaker 2: just hard work and determination that got me here.
- 7:54Speaker 8: No it wasn't, No, it wasn't.
- 7:56Speaker 2: It was the fact that you got off track, and
- 7:59Speaker 2: the grace and mercy if God allowed you to get
- 8:02Speaker 2: back on, His forgiveness allowed you to get back on
- 8:05Speaker 2: because you would not believe what some of the people
- 8:07Speaker 2: have done. So when you get off track, don't allow
- 8:11Speaker 2: the naysayers outside and the big naysayer inside, because let
- 8:16Speaker 2: me tell you something, the biggest naysayer of them all
- 8:20Speaker 2: comes from inside. See, it don't matter what other people
- 8:23Speaker 2: say out there. It takes some time for you to
- 8:25Speaker 2: learn this. And I understand because it took me some
- 8:27Speaker 2: time to learn it. See, I have a lot of
- 8:29Speaker 2: naysayers out there, but I ain't operating for them operating function,
- 8:35Speaker 2: for the ones that love me, for the ones that
- 8:38Speaker 2: get me, for the ones.
- 8:39Speaker 8: That understand what I'm really trying to do. And so
- 8:43Speaker 8: don't you be the one.
- 8:46Speaker 2: That doesn't allow yourself to get back on track when
- 8:50Speaker 2: you get off track, Because, like I said, who made
- 8:53Speaker 2: the rule up that you can't get back on track?
- 8:56Speaker 2: There's no such rule out there. Stop stopping yourself from
- 9:02Speaker 2: getting it right. So what you started to die at
- 9:05Speaker 2: the beginning of the year, and you already off start
- 9:08Speaker 2: another one, start over, try it again, don't ever stop trying.
- 9:15Speaker 2: If you stop trying, you can't make it. But if
- 9:17Speaker 2: you never give up the effort, if you never give
- 9:21Speaker 2: up and say it's over, it ain't over. You heard
- 9:23Speaker 2: the saying it ain't over, to the fat lady saying
- 9:26Speaker 2: I never invite her. She's not invited. It ain't over.
- 9:33Speaker 2: To the fat lady saying I don't know where the
- 9:35Speaker 2: fat lady stay. I have not sent her an invitation
- 9:39Speaker 2: to none of my events. She's not welcome here. She
- 9:43Speaker 2: didn't ask me a couple of times, how come I
- 9:45Speaker 2: never get invited? Because you gonna start saying it and
- 9:49Speaker 2: I ain't got time for that, all right.
- 9:52Speaker 8: Stop inviting the fat Lady to all your events. Thank you.
- 9:56Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen, let me have you undivided attention. Today
- 10:07Speaker 2: is to day that the Lord has made. Let us
- 10:09Speaker 2: rejoice and be glad in it.
- 10:12Speaker 6: Oh.
- 10:12Speaker 2: And also in response to the gentleman that called in
- 10:15Speaker 2: on the on the voicemail that day, has said, yeah,
- 10:19Speaker 2: I listened to y'all and y'all talk about God in
- 10:21Speaker 2: the morning at the beginning and the show, and then
- 10:24Speaker 2: after which y'all become hypocrites. He was mostly talking about me,
- 10:28Speaker 2: and I didn't understand why he went there with it,
- 10:30Speaker 2: but it's okay, and I do the same thing today.
- 10:34Speaker 2: We do always honor God in the beginning. God is everything,
- 10:39Speaker 2: and we are a group of imperfect people, and the
- 10:43Speaker 2: three of us are the main culprits of imperfect It's
- 10:48Speaker 2: me Thomas Miles, better known as Nephew Tommy, and kill Space,
- 10:54Speaker 2: better known as Junior. We will immediately after this acknowledgment
- 11:01Speaker 2: of our Lord God Almighty. We will immediately after this
- 11:06Speaker 2: partake in ignorance and foolery had a high level that
- 11:13Speaker 2: may be misconstrued as hypocrisy. Call it what you want
- 11:19Speaker 2: to call it. We call it show business. Welcome to
- 11:23Speaker 2: the Riots. Steve Harp, Marty show Sherli Strawberry call it

- 11:45Speaker 10: role movie called Rush. But I had one line and.
- 11:48Speaker 9: I nailed it, and they told me I had with
- 11:50Speaker 9: the snipe energy. I believe that one line.
- 11:54Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 11:58Speaker 8: Well, let me ask you a couple of questions. Could
- 12:00Speaker 8: you say you think you're gonna get the part?
- 12:02Speaker 9: I think the way I nail the line, I think
- 12:04Speaker 9: I'm gonna get it.
- 12:05Speaker 8: Okay, okay, we were doing a couple of things.
- 12:07Speaker 2: What is the movie about? Quickly?
- 12:09Speaker 10: Just a short it's called it's called Rush some people
- 12:12Speaker 10: that's running from other people.
- 12:14Speaker 9: But but my line it's called stock.
- 12:19Speaker 2: Hey, hey, hey man. Let let me ask you, y'all.
- 12:22Speaker 2: Do know is another movie out called Rush?
- 12:25Speaker 9: It's not Rush out, it's just Rush.
- 12:28Speaker 8: Oh oh, y'all. Oh, y'all ain't had the money for
- 12:31Speaker 8: rush out.
- 12:32Speaker 1: Now, Chris Tucker, Jackie, I'm in, I'm in the movie.
- 12:36Speaker 9: Callers, don't don't knock me?
- 12:38Speaker 2: What is your line?
- 12:39Speaker 9: Can I do my line for y'all? Can do my line?
- 12:43Speaker 2: Okay? Here we go.
- 12:45Speaker 5: Stop?
- 12:48Speaker 2: That's it line word.
- 12:53Speaker 9: And they said, oh my god, you got what's this
- 12:54Speaker 9: knife energy? They believe in me to leave may And
- 12:57Speaker 9: that's what I auditioning. I didn't see Tommy. I didn't

- 57:11Speaker 7: wait until the night of our wedding. I love to
- 57:14Speaker 7: tease him and sexy lingerie, and he always jokes about
- 57:18Speaker 7: ripping my nightgown off and taking whatever he wants. I
- 57:22Speaker 7: love this man and we have a great time together,
- 57:25Speaker 7: but I don't like the way he looks. He has
- 57:28Speaker 7: a hard face and a permanent frown in his forehead.
- 57:33Speaker 7: He has short teeth, but they're pearly white. My aunt
- 57:36Speaker 7: and my mother warned me against having children with him
- 57:39Speaker 7: because they said my baby will look like a gremlin.
- 57:42Speaker 7: This man is anointed and he has been a perfect gentleman.
- 57:46Speaker 7: He's a man of God for sure, and he's blessed
- 57:49Speaker 7: where it counts. Just because I am not partaking of
- 57:52Speaker 7: his blessings, I still know what he's working with and
- 57:56Speaker 7: I can't wait to make him and it all mine.
- 58:00Speaker 7: I've never been into looks, and I think less handsome
- 58:03Speaker 7: men are sexy because they are rough looking. This man
- 58:07Speaker 7: can walk around me in nothing but his underwear and
- 58:11Speaker 7: I will be a happy woman for the rest of
- 58:13Speaker 7: my life. But my aunt and my mother said I
- 58:17Speaker 7: need to try it out before we get engaged, just
- 58:21Speaker 7: in case he is terrible in bed. How can he
- 58:24Speaker 7: be terrible when when he's working with all of that.
- 58:27Speaker 7: I need your advice on this one. Should I sample
- 58:29Speaker 7: the goods now or wait until marriage?
- 58:33Speaker 2: I'm over here.
- 58:34Speaker 9: Hold, okay, just because.
- 58:36Speaker 7: Someone as blessed as you call it doesn't mean they
- 58:39Speaker 7: know you know what to do with what they have.
- 58:42Speaker 7: So you know that's that's kind of a funny question
- 58:47Speaker 7: that you're asking. I got to say this, so huh.
- 58:51Speaker 5: I am.
- 58:53Speaker 7: The first thing I learned out the gate from this
- 58:55Speaker 7: letters that pastors are on dating sites and he's single.
- 58:58Speaker 7: So I'm not judged or anything, just a little surprised.
- 59:02Speaker 7: And that's not what this letter is about. It's about
- 59:04Speaker 7: should you give him a test drive before you buy
- 59:07Speaker 7: this car?
- 59:08Speaker 1: So to speak?
- 59:09Speaker 7: And you know what most people do. Most people do
- 59:12Speaker 7: have sex before marriage. You know, it's admirable that you
- 59:16Speaker 7: want to wait until your wedding night, and you got
- 59:18Speaker 7: to decide what's right for you. I find it odd
- 59:21Speaker 7: that you never mentioned how he treats you, Is he
- 59:24Speaker 7: good to you? All you're talking about is how he
- 59:26Speaker 7: looks and what he's blessed with. I think if you're
- 59:29Speaker 7: holding out on him because you truly don't want to
- 59:32Speaker 7: have sex before marriage until your wedding night, because you
- 59:35Speaker 7: think God is watching. And you mentioned that this is
- 59:37Speaker 7: a man of God.
- 59:38Speaker 1: Then stick to your beliefs. Stick to your beliefs.
- 59:41Speaker 7: But you have to stop teasing the man with your
- 59:43Speaker 7: sexy lingerie and all of that, because it doesn't sound
- 59:48Speaker 7: like the pastor can hold out much longer. Now, if
- 59:51Speaker 7: you want to do it just because you know your
- 59:53Speaker 7: mom and your honor pressuring you, that's still not a
- 59:56Speaker 7: good reason to have sex with him. If you don't
- 59:58Speaker 7: want to, you want to wait. You know they don't
- 1:00:02Speaker 7: need to be in your bedroom business anyway. So again,
- 1:00:06Speaker 7: this is your decision. You know, this is your decision.
- 1:00:08Speaker 7: If you don't mind being with and having children by
- 1:00:11Speaker 7: an unattractive man, as you call them a hard face
- 1:00:14Speaker 7: and little baby teeth, well that's up to you.
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: It's your life.
- 1:00:18Speaker 7: You say he's packing, and that seems to be all
- 1:00:21Speaker 7: that's important to you from this letter, then go for it.
- 1:00:24Speaker 7: Stop listening to all these other people who are into
- 1:00:27Speaker 7: your business.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: You gotta do what's right for you.
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: Steve, Well, I'm gonna just tell you this right off
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: the dribble. Probably need to go on and listen to
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: Charley on this one, because what I'm about to tell
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: you ain't nothing but truth. All I'm finna tell you
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: is nothing but truth. I'm gonna give you some facts
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: and then you have to make your own decision because
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: I can't tell you how to live your life. Now
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: you thirty four, he farty too. That's an eight year difference.
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: Both of y'all are divorced, and people are divorced for
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: a reason. That online you ready for kids? He got
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: two from his first marriage. He said he'd have another
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: child with me. You know how many times he done
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: had to say that. And you know why, because he's
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: not handsome. Ugly man had to hair up and get
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: in agreement with a woman. We got to get on
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: the same page because he ugly.
- 1:01:27Speaker 3: You ain't.
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: You said he's not handsome, but we know what that means.
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: He's ugly, got to hair up and agree with everything.
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: Women won't because he's ugly. Ain't got no whole lot
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: of options. Now, like I told you, you probably need
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: to just go on with Sherley's answer, because I ain't
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: finna give you nothing but facts. He wants to have
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: us to have sex before we get married. That's got
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: a lot to do with him being ugly. He can't
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: running the risk, and you waiting and starting to add
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: ask questions about him and looking at him closer, sitting
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: over there, starting analyve stuff. You know you already got
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: some stuff. I'll tell you about that in a minute.
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: Because you love to tease him in section lingerie. He
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: always joke about ripping my nightgown off and taking whatever
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: he wants. I love this man, We have great time together,
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: but I don't like the way he looks right there.
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: He got a hard face and a permitted frown in
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: his forehead. But a man got a hard face.
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: What does that mean?
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: That's the time that look like a rock. You ain't
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: ever seen a pretty rock.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: I've never heard that before.
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: You He just looked like a rock. Got a hard face.
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: You know what that even when he smiled, it looked
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: like he climbed, just got a hard face. He be
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: telling the joke, and everybody be scared.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: Hold that thought.
- 1:02:58Speaker 7: Part two. Harvey's response is coming up in twenty three
- 1:03:02Speaker 7: minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry letter subject is he's

- 1:03:50Speaker 7: The subject he's not handsome, but he's blessed.
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: Yeah, well, we'll get in that in a minute. But
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: just eight man is forty two years old. Both of
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: y'all got divorced for a for a reason. I'm ready
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: for children. Although he had two from his first marriage.
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: He said he have another child with me. He can't
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: believe you want one with it. He know how he looked.
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: He's so ugly. You that wrote about it. You don't
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: think he heard this before. He'd heard this his whole life.
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: This ain't no new information. You just rode in on
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: the National radio show. He's not handsome, but he plays
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: because he ugly I love this man. We have a
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: great time together. But I don't like the way he looked.
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: He got a hard face and a permanent frown in
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: his forehead, just over that, looking like a rock. He'd
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: be telling jokes. Ain't nobody laughing. Everybody had that little
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: grimace on their face, like they kind of back up
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: a little bit. You mest somebody so ugly when they
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: talk to you, you just keep leaning out the way.
- 1:04:55Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: Next thing you know, you say, even in your chair,
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: no more because you're trying to deal with Oh, listen
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: in front of you. What is this hard rockcking? Man
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: got a mouth? And then you said, have been talking
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: about he got short teeth, but they pairly white. Hell,
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: it's easy to take care of little teeth. Tell ay short,
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: he probably threw brushing his teeth in no time. You
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: can have pearly white teeth. When they shot, I got
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: all that curt coin in his head. He got his
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: whole mouth looked like a row of coin. And you
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: talking about they pearly white. Hell, It don't take you
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: no time to fright. He ain't got nothing to brush.
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: And I'm telling you what.
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: Let me tell you what this woman that when she
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: say they shot. She means jes coming up out the gums.
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: That's what you come about, that type of short jes
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: coming up out the gums. So now he got pearly white.
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: And they shot My aunt and my mother wore me
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: against having children here because they said my baby gonna
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: look like a griplet. They not lying, teeth, they's not lying.
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: This baby you fit to have. If the baby don't
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: look just like you, ma'am, you better hope you really. Now,
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: let me ask you this, and you're gonna have to
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: be honest because we don't know this. Are you extremely
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: attracted because you're gonna have to offset with this baby?
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: What's gonna and and and and like chances are I'm
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: just going out on the limb. I'm gonna say you're
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: not extremely attracted. I'm gonna just go out on the limb.
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: I think you're an attractive woman, but you may not
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: be attractive enough to have an ugly man and have
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: a baby with an ugly man, because you gotta be
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: beautiful to offset and get his baby a chance of
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: being regularly looking.
- 1:06:49Speaker 8: See, now this baby does not gonna have a chance.
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: He gonna grow up to looking teeth that hard look
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: on his face that God forbid it be a girl. Lord,
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: have mercy, Jesus, this man is annoying it and he's
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: been a perfect gentleman. He's a man of God for sure.
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: He's blessed where it counts. Just because I'm not partaking
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: of his blessings, I still know what he's working with
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: and I can't wait to make him and it all mine.
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: Now you need to think about something. Now, Why is
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: him still available? Why is him online looking for love?
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: If he's a past man of the clone and see something?
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: You need to have some more conversation with this man.
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: I've never been into looks, and I think less handsome
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: men are sexy because.
- 1:07:39Speaker 8: They rough looking.
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: Well, Jackpot, where you're sitting on top of gold man,
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: if that's the case, because you can't look no rougher
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: than a rock. I'm telling you that right now. When
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: we heard the hard face, that's about as rough as
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: you get. This man can walk around him but his underwear,
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: and I'll be a happy woman the rest of my life.
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: But my aunt and mother said, I need to try.
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: Let me ask you something. Who is your aunt, yo, mama?
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: Who is these heavens?
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: Do they have men?
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: Why are you listening to them? And your mama and
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: aunt said, need to try it out before we get engaged,
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: just in case he's terrible in bad How can he
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: be terrible when he's working with all that? Oh, oh,
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: I've heard I've been talking to women a whole lot
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: of times.
- 1:08:25Speaker 8: Let me just put right here. I'm betting on him.
- 1:08:28Speaker 8: Put yeah.
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: See, he ugly, he's had to learn how to perform. Oh,
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: he fin He's finna do everything in his power because
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: he ugly. He know he not gonna get another shot.
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: And he know the line ain't long because everybody ain't
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: seen you walking around in the dogs. Most people just
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: looking at that hard faith team, and most people just
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: trying to figure out how I'm gonna get through marry
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: and flavor flavor, that's what a lot of space. Now,
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: if you can sit there and madest mad with this
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: clock around his neck, then go ahead. I need your
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: advice on this one. Should I sample the goods now
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: or wait to marriage? Please help listen to me. If
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: you wait ninety days and you can still talk to
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: him up close, if you can wait ninety days, and
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: that hardness, that rock hard face, with that permanent frown
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: it's still not repulse.
- 1:09:39Speaker 8: In you, then go ahead.
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: I'm not seeing to wait the ninety already, all right.

- 1:13:58Speaker 7: constantly judges, we'll talk about it right after this.
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: You're listening to.
- 1:14:02Speaker 7: The Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, So this is
- 1:14:08Speaker 7: from Jermaine on Steve HARVEYFM. Jermaine says, my wife and
- 1:14:13Speaker 7: I are expecting our first baby, and my parents have
- 1:14:15Speaker 7: been nothing but supportive, but her mom has been consistently critical.
- 1:14:21Speaker 7: She's made negative comments about the name we chose, sin
- 1:14:24Speaker 7: my wife lists of better names, and recently criticized the
- 1:14:28Speaker 7: nursery after seeing a photo, saying the crib color was
- 1:14:31Speaker 7: wrong and that her dad had mixed emotions about it.
- 1:14:34Speaker 7: Every time we try to share something we're excited about,
- 1:14:38Speaker 7: it turns into unsolicited opinions that leave my wife feeling upset.
- 1:14:43Speaker 7: We're not asking for advice, just trying to include her
- 1:14:47Speaker 7: from a distance. How do we get her mother to
- 1:14:50Speaker 7: chill out but still include her in our life? Where's
- 1:14:53Speaker 7: the line between keeping the peace and protecting my wife
- 1:14:56Speaker 7: during her pregnancy?
- 1:14:59Speaker 2: Protect wife by not sharing stuff with her anymore. Let
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: her call check on her daughter, see how she's doing.
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: Stop sending pictures. What colored decrib beers ain't her b's
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: this ain't her baby. Will y'all pick whatever name? Y'all
- 1:15:12Speaker 2: won't for y'all's baby. Who wrote the letter?
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: Sure, sure, you wrote Jermaine.
- 1:15:18Speaker 8: Jermaine.
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: That was a cool name. That worked out nice for you, Jermaine.
- 1:15:22Speaker 2: You know what, just name your baby whatever you want.
- 1:15:25Speaker 2: Quit sharing stuff with her if it's upsetting your wife.
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: Your main job right now is to protect your wife.
- 1:15:31Speaker 8: During this time, well all the time.
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: Really good?
- 1:15:34Speaker 8: Yeah, she pregnant, man, don't let nobody upset her.
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: Wow?
- 1:15:38Speaker 7: All right, all right Jermaine, Yeah, good advice. All right,
- 1:15:42Speaker 7: we have time for another one. This is kJ on
- 1:15:45Speaker 7: Steve Harvey FM. kJ says on Sunday, my wife and
- 1:15:48Speaker 7: I returned from a week long trip. After around eighteen
- 1:15:52Speaker 7: hours of non stop driving, I took what I thought
- 1:15:55Speaker 7: was a serious nap, but she slept on and off.
- 1:15:59Speaker 7: When I woke up, however, I found myself the target
- 1:16:01Speaker 7: of serious social media mocking because she unpacked, did all
- 1:16:05Speaker 7: the laundry, cleaned up the car, et cetera, while I
- 1:16:09Speaker 7: just slept. From there, all her friends commented or commended
- 1:16:14Speaker 7: her on holding the house together while I slacked off
- 1:16:17Speaker 7: and left it all on her. I don't like seeing
- 1:16:19Speaker 7: her put herself on a pedestal to be adored by
- 1:16:22Speaker 7: her followers. Well, I'm being made out to be trifling.
- 1:16:25Speaker 7: Is this something even worth bringing up?
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: Or do I just let it go?
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: You drove eighteen hours, you did your job, got everybody
- 1:16:36Speaker 2: back home. She's sleeping the car. She gonna have some minutes,
- 1:16:40Speaker 2: so she posted all that. You know, he trifles, y'all,
- 1:16:45Speaker 2: y'all be putting too much in social media, way too much.
- 1:16:52Speaker 14: Yeah, yeah, are you worst example of that? She did that,
- 1:17:00Speaker 14: But that's why she wants glory.
- 1:17:03Speaker 8: Look at me, I'm doing this. I'm doing man skip that.
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: So he shouldn't bring it up or say anything to
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: her about it.
- 1:17:12Speaker 8: No, don't bring it up. Just you know, just have
- 1:17:14Speaker 8: somebody to drop off the papers at her job. That's all.
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: What you're saying.
- 1:17:23Speaker 8: Five dog just fire walking.
- 1:17:25Speaker 7: Out because she doesn't appreciate him.
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: Yeah, you talked about appreciation before.
- 1:17:32Speaker 2: Hey, let me tell y'all what I saw was a
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: crazy example of social media sharing. A young man was
- 1:17:38Speaker 2: dating a woman. It's been going good. It's been been
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: dating for six months, no sex, no nothing. She finally
- 1:17:45Speaker 2: set him down and explained to him, because they really
- 1:17:47Speaker 2: got serious. Relationship is good. She told the young man
- 1:17:50Speaker 2: he had she has aids. He was online and he
- 1:17:55Speaker 2: shared this online and he said, y'all, what should I do?
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: Because I really love he said, and I'm thinking about
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: just going on and just getting it myself because I
- 1:18:05Speaker 2: love this woman. I don't want to lose her. So
- 1:18:09Speaker 2: some people online were saying, hey, both of you should
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: just go to the doctor, sit down, see what it is,
- 1:18:14Speaker 2: see what they'll run her. But if you love her,
- 1:18:16Speaker 2: you love her. That's a huge mistake, y'all. Stop putting
- 1:18:20Speaker 2: all your business online. This girl may not have wanted
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: the world to know that she had a condition. She
- 1:18:29Speaker 2: just shared it with you.
- 1:18:31Speaker 8: Get offline with your business.
- 1:18:33Speaker 2: Man. I was so mad at this young boy for
- 1:18:36Speaker 2: putting this on. He was sincerely asking for help. But man,
- 1:18:39Speaker 2: keep that stuff private. That's crazy.
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, all right.
- 1:18:45Speaker 6: Wow.
- 1:18:46Speaker 7: We'll have more of a Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 1:18:48Speaker 7: up in twenty minutes after. Right after this, you're listening
- 1:18:51Speaker 7: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Relationships can and do
- 1:18:59Speaker 7: in in any month, but for some reason, January tends
- 1:19:03Speaker 7: to be the most popular. Think about it. It's cold out,
- 1:19:07Speaker 7: it's dark out, and we're coming out of the holidays.
- 1:19:10Speaker 7: It can leave us emotionally and financially depleted. Our relationship
- 1:19:15Speaker 7: expert also added that holiday bills in January add to
- 1:19:20Speaker 7: our winter breakup blues because money is triggering and it
- 1:19:24Speaker 7: taps into our deepest fears about safety, worth, and control.
- 1:19:29Speaker 7: Here's a question for you, guys. Do you think January
- 1:19:32Speaker 7: is the hardest month of the year, not just romantically.
- 1:19:35Speaker 7: Do you think it's hard?
- 1:19:37Speaker 2: Here's the number one reason people break up in January
- 1:19:41Speaker 2: because it's a new year and they have decided, I
- 1:19:44Speaker 2: ain't doing this no more with you. I'm gonna give
- 1:19:50Speaker 2: me a fresh start. I ain't got none to do
- 1:19:53Speaker 2: with money. It's cold outside and none doing that. I'm
- 1:19:58Speaker 2: not doing this no moment with you. I can assure you.
- 1:20:06Speaker 7: Wow, right after Christmas, you think everything is good, and
- 1:20:10Speaker 7: then come January it's over shine.
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, So you spent New Years with this person.
- 1:20:18Speaker 7: Yeah, thanksgivings, yeah, holidays, and then January.
- 1:20:24Speaker 8: Not spending the holidaday with you.
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: What you're thinking is all good?
- 1:20:32Speaker 7: And he drops the bomb. All right, thank you guys.
- 1:20:35Speaker 7: Coming up, we'll play another round. And would you rather
- 1:20:38Speaker 7: right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:20:46Speaker 11: Hey, it's Carla Farroll. Kick that old mop and bucket aside.
- 1:20:50Speaker 11: Are you ready for a mop and bucket clean and
- 1:20:53Speaker 11: half the time, make the swap to Swipper Power Mop,

- 1:21:08Speaker 11: Plus it'll leave your home smelling great for hours after cleaning.
- 1:21:12Speaker 11: Get yours today and mop smarter with the Swipper Power Mob.
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: All right, guys, it's time for a rounded.
- 1:21:18Speaker 7: Would you rather would you rather go figure ice figure skating?
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: Would you rather go to a performance of that? Or
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: would you rather go to a.
- 1:21:26Speaker 7: Hockey game and ice hockey game?
- 1:21:28Speaker 2: Which? Oh, hockey game?
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: Hockey game rather than figure skating? Figure skaters?
- 1:21:37Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 1:21:40Speaker 2: I want to watch their fight, blood and the tea
- 1:21:44Speaker 2: knocked out?
- 1:21:45Speaker 8: And have you ever been to a professional hockey game?
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: Guys?
- 1:21:49Speaker 8: Anybody I've been to one? I've been to one too.
- 1:21:53Speaker 2: I haven't been. I did not know they were skating
- 1:21:56Speaker 2: that fast. Yeah, I did not know that you can
- 1:22:03Speaker 2: skate that fast backwards. I don't seen it on TV.
- 1:22:06Speaker 8: But when you sit there and look at it, for real,
- 1:22:11Speaker 8: I'm saying, oh my god, wow, it's crazy.
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: So you picked that? All right?
- 1:22:16Speaker 7: Would you rather wear only swim trunks for the next
- 1:22:19Speaker 7: three days or a snowsuit in the summer for three days?
- 1:22:24Speaker 7: Because you're already in winter, winter cold, let's have the winter. Yeah,
- 1:22:30Speaker 7: you're wearing trunks in the winter. Are we wearing a
- 1:22:32Speaker 7: snowsuit in the summer? Which one think? That's a junior question?
- 1:22:37Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:22:37Speaker 9: Suit, it is snowsuit.
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: In the summer.
- 1:22:43Speaker 10: They yeah, yeah, all right, don't take no chances with this.
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: Don't take no chances.
- 1:22:51Speaker 2: You have them swimming trunks on the outside in the cold.
- 1:22:56Speaker 2: You ain't finna look good at all.
- 1:23:01Speaker 7: Would you rather lose your sense of taste or your
- 1:23:04Speaker 7: sense of touch for the next sixty days?
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: Which one sixty days?
- 1:23:09Speaker 2: No touch or no?
- 1:23:11Speaker 3: Hey?
- 1:23:11Speaker 7: Yeah, your sense of taste or your sense of touch.
- 1:23:15Speaker 8: No, I'm gonna lose. I'm gonna lose that taste.
- 1:23:17Speaker 9: I got to eat.
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: You're gonna lose taste, Steve and Junior, you're gonna lose.
- 1:23:21Speaker 8: I'm gonna lose the thirt touch of taste, not loset.
- 1:23:26Speaker 8: Lay your hand on that fire and you ain't gonna
- 1:23:29Speaker 8: know it.
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, okay, all right.
- 1:23:34Speaker 2: Slam your fing in the car doing don't know it,
- 1:23:38Speaker 2: cut you with a knife and don't know it. No,
- 1:23:41Speaker 2: So we're just gonna stop tasting stuff. I'm gonna be
- 1:23:44Speaker 2: I'm gonna be fine as I.
- 1:23:46Speaker 7: Being for two months.
- 1:23:48Speaker 2: You lose anything, all right, you're just tasting ice cream
- 1:23:55Speaker 2: and cake, I'll be all right.
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, there you go. Would you rather your dog
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: be able to talk or you live forever?
- 1:24:04Speaker 15: I don't know if I wang, it'd be fun to
- 1:24:11Speaker 15: to be able to talk to your dog, dog dog
- 1:24:14Speaker 15: talk back, like in the cartoons.
- 1:24:18Speaker 2: My Dog.
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: Forever.
- 1:24:23Speaker 2: You read about that dog kill with my Dog.
- 1:24:29Speaker 7: All right, guys, thank you. That's today's round and would
- 1:24:32Speaker 7: you rather coming up next? It is our last break
- 1:24:35Speaker 7: of the day. We'll close out the show with the
- 1:24:36Speaker 7: one and only Steve Harvey right after this.
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:24:46Speaker 11: Hey, it's Carlo Ferroll. Kick that old mop and bucket aside?
- 1:24:49Speaker 11: Are you ready for a mop and bucket clean and
- 1:24:52Speaker 11: half the time make the swap to Swipper Power Mop
- 1:24:56Speaker 11: The only one cleaning Hero has a built in solution
- 1:24:59Speaker 11: that breaks down dirt and grime like magic with hundreds
- 1:25:03Speaker 11: of scrubbing strips on the pad.
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: It absorbs sticky messes with ease.
- 1:25:07Speaker 11: Plus it'll leave your home smelling great for hours after cleaning.
- 1:25:11Speaker 11: Get yours today and mop smarter with the Swiffer power mo.
- 1:25:15Speaker 7: All right, guys, here we are last break of the
- 1:25:18Speaker 7: day on this Monday, and of course it's been a
- 1:25:21Speaker 7: great day. Thank you all. Yes, you had a question
- 1:25:27Speaker 7: for Steve before we get out of here.
- 1:25:28Speaker 3: Yeah, I do.
- 1:25:29Speaker 10: I want to talk about dreaming. To talk about dreaming.
- 1:25:34Speaker 10: How serious did you take your dream? How did you
- 1:25:37Speaker 10: know that was going to be your life? Did you
- 1:25:39Speaker 10: know it or did you just dreamed it? How did
- 1:25:41Speaker 10: you dream?
- 1:25:42Speaker 9: How you get that?
- 1:25:43Speaker 5: Well?
- 1:25:44Speaker 2: I can't actually say that I knew it. I just
- 1:25:49Speaker 2: wanted it so badly. I just wanted my dream dreams
- 1:25:54Speaker 2: to come true. I just imagine myself one way. Did
- 1:26:02Speaker 2: I know it?
- 1:26:02Speaker 6: No?
- 1:26:03Speaker 2: No, I didn't know it. I just knowing that is
- 1:26:07Speaker 2: not what's required. What's required to make your dreams come
- 1:26:12Speaker 2: true is not knowing. It's faith. Faith is the belief
- 1:26:18Speaker 2: in things that you cannot see. I didn't see no
- 1:26:22Speaker 2: way I would be on TV. I didn't see no
- 1:26:26Speaker 2: way I would be famous. I did not see no
- 1:26:30Speaker 2: way I would travel the world. I didn't see no way.
- 1:26:34Speaker 2: I ain't see how how could I see it? How
- 1:26:37Speaker 2: could I see it? I just had faith.
- 1:26:40Speaker 7: Man.
- 1:26:41Speaker 2: Faith is belief in things that you cannot see. You
- 1:26:45Speaker 2: can want something, but what that means to me, what
- 1:26:48Speaker 2: believing in something? Faith is the belief in things that
- 1:26:51Speaker 2: you cannot see. When it says that it's not that
- 1:26:54Speaker 2: you can imagine it and envision it, but seeing how
- 1:26:59Speaker 2: to do it and accomplish it. That right there takes faith, though.
- 1:27:05Speaker 2: It takes a lot of faith.
- 1:27:08Speaker 6: You know.
- 1:27:08Speaker 2: I was talking to Tyler Perry one time and we
- 1:27:11Speaker 2: was talking about successing and what were what our next
- 1:27:15Speaker 2: move was. And Tyler said something very simple to me.
- 1:27:19Speaker 2: He said, hey, man, put some faith on it. I said,
- 1:27:23Speaker 2: I do. He said, put some more on it. Put
- 1:27:27Speaker 2: some more faith on it. Because listen to me, man,
- 1:27:31Speaker 2: Sometimes you get at a point in life with your
- 1:27:33Speaker 2: dreams and your visions where you just don't know the
- 1:27:35Speaker 2: next move. You just don't know what to do next.
- 1:27:39Speaker 2: You know you want it, you know you're still believing
- 1:27:44Speaker 2: in it, you still imagining it, but you don't quite
- 1:27:48Speaker 2: know what the next move is. You ain't supposed to
- 1:27:51Speaker 2: know what all the moves is. Because what God does
- 1:27:55Speaker 2: require from us is our faith. He wants to I
- 1:28:00Speaker 2: know that we believe in him. He wants to know
- 1:28:02Speaker 2: that we trust him. And when you learn to turn
- 1:28:05Speaker 2: it over to God, it makes your life a lot better. Now,
- 1:28:09Speaker 2: listen to me, that's hard to do. It's hard to
- 1:28:13Speaker 2: turn it completely over to God and say I wash
- 1:28:15Speaker 2: my hands of it. Lord. It's on you because, especially
- 1:28:18Speaker 2: if you've been a person like myself who's constantly been
- 1:28:21Speaker 2: trying to do something, constantly trying to make something happen,
- 1:28:25Speaker 2: whether it happened or not. I thought my job was
- 1:28:27Speaker 2: to try to make it happen. Now, faith with our
- 1:28:30Speaker 2: works is dead. You have to do some things, but
- 1:28:35Speaker 2: there's an order to do things, and if you ask God,
- 1:28:38Speaker 2: God will give you the order. You can ask God
- 1:28:40Speaker 2: to order your steps and God will do exactly that.
- 1:28:44Speaker 2: He would just show you what to do even though
- 1:28:48Speaker 2: you don't know what to do. Man, you know how
- 1:28:51Speaker 2: many times I'm sitting looking out the window, gun going God,
- 1:28:54Speaker 2: I just need a sign, show me something because I'm
- 1:28:58Speaker 2: feeling a little bit confused right now. I feel a
- 1:29:00Speaker 2: little lost. I'm in terminal. I feel up in the
- 1:29:02Speaker 2: down too many things right now, Lord, I need a sign.
- 1:29:06Speaker 2: He ain't never not showed me one. He ain't never
- 1:29:09Speaker 2: not let something happen to let me know it was
- 1:29:11Speaker 2: gonna be all right.
- 1:29:13Speaker 8: Right in my dark.
- 1:29:14Speaker 2: It's moments where it felt like it wasn't gonna happen.
- 1:29:16Speaker 2: I say, Lord, I need a sign. I'm not saying
- 1:29:18Speaker 2: it happens right then the next day, but he'll show
- 1:29:21Speaker 2: you something, an occurrence that lets you know is still working.
- 1:29:25Speaker 2: And in the process, I didn't know I was gonna
- 1:29:28Speaker 2: be here. I'm gonna tell you something I did, Man.
- 1:29:31Speaker 2: On my birthday. I got up. I was in a
- 1:29:34Speaker 2: hotel and I'm overlooking some water, and I was set
- 1:29:40Speaker 2: in my window, man, for a little over four hours
- 1:29:45Speaker 2: on the morning of my birthday, and I ain't talk
- 1:29:49Speaker 2: to nobody, nobody but God. And I was sitting there, man,
- 1:29:55Speaker 2: with a strong realization, how in the world did I
- 1:30:00Speaker 2: get here? And I was sitting there just being reflective
- 1:30:04Speaker 2: of my life, and I was just trying to figure out.
- 1:30:07Speaker 2: Let me go over my life and see how I
- 1:30:09Speaker 2: got to this point. You know what happened, man, It
- 1:30:16Speaker 2: was so many unexplained moments, so many moments that I
- 1:30:22Speaker 2: had to realize I ain't really have a hand in that.
- 1:30:25Speaker 2: I didn't really have an explanation for that. That was God, man,
- 1:30:30Speaker 2: that was God the whole time, moving me through this
- 1:30:34Speaker 2: thing called life, positioning me bringing things about. I got
- 1:30:42Speaker 2: a bigger life than the one I ever thought i'd have.
- 1:30:45Speaker 2: I don't know about y'all. This one here, the one
- 1:30:50Speaker 2: I got now, that may not be the one you got.
- 1:30:54Speaker 2: But you can't look at my life and then think
- 1:30:56Speaker 2: your life ain't got value to it, because it ain't
- 1:30:59Speaker 2: doing the same thing mine doing that ain't how this
- 1:31:01Speaker 2: thing work. Your life got real value right where it is.
- 1:31:08Speaker 2: This may be your lot in life now if you're
- 1:31:11Speaker 2: thinking there's more to it than it probably is. But
- 1:31:14Speaker 2: if you pretty content you got the job of your dreams,
- 1:31:17Speaker 2: the career of your choice, you can be good with that. Man,
- 1:31:21Speaker 2: you ain't got to be sitting in the same window
- 1:31:23Speaker 2: I'm in. I'm not sitting in the same window Robert
