- 1:43Speaker 1: turn them out, to turn turn the water the water go.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your fab that it h I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, Come on
- 2:07Speaker 1: dig me now. One and only Steve Harvey Man old man,
- 2:10Speaker 1: got a radio show. Yeah, I do. God so big
- 2:13Speaker 1: to me, man, I just have to tell you about it.
- 2:16Speaker 1: I can't help it. It's rather obvious to me how big,
- 2:21Speaker 1: how good God is. He's absolutely tremendous. He's off the chain.
- 2:27Speaker 1: He owned one, he'd be clowning. He'd be just showing out. Man.
- 2:34Speaker 1: I'm just over here, just on receiving it. You know, Man,
- 2:37Speaker 1: I want to share something with you today. You know,
- 2:41Speaker 1: if you're out there, start your mission today, Start your
- 2:46Speaker 1: mission today? What are you waiting for? Why do we
- 2:52Speaker 1: as people delay what we want or delay the process
- 3:01Speaker 1: to begin what we want? Our hopes, our dreams, our desires.
- 3:06Speaker 1: Why won't you start your mission today? Why don't we
- 3:10Speaker 1: all decide together better? Yet? Let's just kill that, because
- 3:15Speaker 1: yount that just individually. Look you listening, you got something
- 3:19Speaker 1: that you've been dreaming about. You got an ambition of
- 3:22Speaker 1: yours that's not yet fulfilled. You got goals you haven't
- 3:26Speaker 1: accomplished yet. You got dreams, aspirations. Everybody has them, everybody's
- 3:31Speaker 1: got on them. Everybody's got something that's that's on the
- 3:35Speaker 1: table that they haven't yet attacked yet. What are you
- 3:38Speaker 1: waiting for? Start your mission today? Stop the procrastination now.
- 3:44Speaker 1: The procrastination is only hurting you yourself. And if you
- 3:49Speaker 1: and if you allow excuse men, if you allow procrastination
- 3:53Speaker 1: to set in, then that that allows then which is
- 3:59Speaker 1: a weakness, you know, but that allows the devil then
- 4:02Speaker 1: to just really do his thing. Because an idle mind
- 4:05Speaker 1: is the devil's playground. So if you ain't working on
- 4:07Speaker 1: your goal's dreams, aspirations or visions, and you just waking
- 4:11Speaker 1: up seeing how today gonna go, or the devil he
- 4:14Speaker 1: got plenty for it for you to do. See, But
- 4:17Speaker 1: if you get your mind right on your goal and
- 4:19Speaker 1: your focus and your purpose. Then you can go on
- 4:22Speaker 1: about your business. Then when the distraction comes, you can
- 4:25Speaker 1: catch yourself. Now, don't mean you ain't gonna fall privy
- 4:28Speaker 1: or fall prey to some of your distractions, because you will,
- 4:31Speaker 1: but you will have a goal in mind, an aspiration
- 4:35Speaker 1: that makes you go hold on, man, I got to
- 4:37Speaker 1: stay focused here because what I really want while I'm
- 4:40Speaker 1: really trying to go the thing that I'm really after,
- 4:43Speaker 1: this new little thing that's being introduced, this don't fit
- 4:47Speaker 1: into the equation. Man. Let me keep it moving, or
- 4:50Speaker 1: you may step off the line for a little while.
- 4:53Speaker 1: You know. Like I said yesterday, the thing about God
- 4:55Speaker 1: is he's so forgiving that if you get out of line,
- 4:58Speaker 1: he'll hold your place. See that's it's a real cool thing.
- 5:00Speaker 1: A lot of people to do that for you too.
- 5:02Speaker 1: Like I said, if you're in the movie theater or
- 5:04Speaker 1: you're an amusement park and you're in the line and
- 5:05Speaker 1: you forget something, if you politely ask the person behind you, hey, man,
- 5:09Speaker 1: I gotta run to my car left something, would you
- 5:11Speaker 1: hold my place? Most people say, fine, you gotta go ahead,
- 5:14Speaker 1: and when you come back, they don't have a problem. See,
- 5:16Speaker 1: your problem is is you want to get out the line,
- 5:19Speaker 1: go do something, then come back and just get up
- 5:22Speaker 1: in the line further up than you were, or cut somebody.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Now you got a problem because see everybody looking at
- 5:27Speaker 1: you now, like Roy Wall partner, where you come from.
- 5:29Speaker 1: You know the line start back here. But see the
- 5:32Speaker 1: thing with God is God don't do that. God don't
- 5:35Speaker 1: say the line start back here. God holds your place.
- 5:39Speaker 1: When you make a mistake and you fall off the line,
- 5:41Speaker 1: God holds your place. But if you ain't got no
- 5:44Speaker 1: dreams aspiration, if you ain't got no place, what he
- 5:48Speaker 1: holding for you? See, I mean He got a place
- 5:51Speaker 1: for you, but you gotta come to him. See some
- 5:53Speaker 1: people if well, here's what I'm saying. If you got
- 5:57Speaker 1: a goal or aspiration to dream and you fall off
- 6:00Speaker 1: track momentarily, you can get back to that because God
- 6:05Speaker 1: know where you're left off. Now you may have to
- 6:08Speaker 1: accomplish a few more things since you stop for a
- 6:10Speaker 1: long period of time, but God know where you left off.
- 6:13Speaker 1: You can get back on track. I look, man, this
- 6:16Speaker 1: dream of being on TV since I was a kid,
- 6:19Speaker 1: and it got off track. Now it got off track.
- 6:22Speaker 1: I just kept it as one of the dreams and
- 6:25Speaker 1: in some real dog moments when it looked like it
- 6:28Speaker 1: wasn't gonna happen. All I was hanging on too, was
- 6:32Speaker 1: just the hope that one day it could. But that's
- 6:35Speaker 1: what faith is really about. Faith is the belief in
- 6:38Speaker 1: things that you cannot see. But faith gives you the
- 6:42Speaker 1: confidence to keep hoping. Man, Sometimes it just keep hope alive.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Sometimes you heard Jesse Jackson said, just keep hope alive. Sometimes, man,
- 6:51Speaker 1: it's just the hope. I was hanging on the hope.
- 6:56Speaker 1: And I'm talking about when it got real ugly and
- 6:59Speaker 1: funk at out there for me, when it looked like
- 7:01Speaker 1: I wasn't gonna ever make it, and all of the
- 7:05Speaker 1: facts was in and everything pointed in the direction you're
- 7:08Speaker 1: not gonna make it. You didn't really messed up this time.
- 7:11Speaker 1: Then I sat there and I just hung on to
- 7:14Speaker 1: the hope. But man, that's what I'm saying. If you
- 7:18Speaker 1: got a dream on aspiration of vision or something, when
- 7:22Speaker 1: you fall off track and you want to go get
- 7:25Speaker 1: back in line, God holds your place. See. He held
- 7:29Speaker 1: on to that for me. He knew I was off
- 7:31Speaker 1: tracking how the line, but he said, okay, here's where
- 7:34Speaker 1: we stopped. You want to be on TV that when
- 7:37Speaker 1: you get it together and you quit tripping and you
- 7:39Speaker 1: come in your turn to me, I'm gonna hold your place,
- 7:41Speaker 1: put your back in line. Then we're gonna finish the journey.
- 7:43Speaker 1: That took me a lot longer to get here than
- 7:46Speaker 1: I wanted to. But then it was necessary because I
- 7:48Speaker 1: needed all of the mishaps to happen to me along
- 7:51Speaker 1: the way. So when I got on the radio one day,
- 7:53Speaker 1: which I did not see coming, Steve Harvey got a
- 7:56Speaker 1: radio show, y'all. That's why I say it every day. See,
- 7:59Speaker 1: because of the radio show that I didn't see coming.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Now I have stories to tell, I got experiences to share,
- 8:07Speaker 1: and I can tell you about me better than I
- 8:09Speaker 1: can tell you about anybody. And I haven't been through
- 8:12Speaker 1: enough whereas relatable, where enough people can go. Man, that
- 8:16Speaker 1: happened to me. Appreciate you saying that that's what it
- 8:19Speaker 1: was for. See, I get it now. See at the time,
- 8:21Speaker 1: though I didn't like what was happening to me. At
- 8:24Speaker 1: the time, I was really in total disagreement with God
- 8:27Speaker 1: on a lot of stuff he was pulling off on me.
- 8:30Speaker 1: But in essence I was really pulling it off on myself.
- 8:34Speaker 1: But through his grace and mercy, he kept me through
- 8:36Speaker 1: all of my mistakes, all my bad decisions, all my miscalculations,
- 8:41Speaker 1: all my misfires, all the times I knowingly stepped out
- 8:46Speaker 1: there indeed wrong. He forgave me. He said, because man,
- 8:50Speaker 1: if you ever come to me, I have a plan
- 8:53Speaker 1: for you that it's going to be far and above.
- 8:57Speaker 1: It will supersede everything you've ever dreamed up. That's what
- 9:01Speaker 1: I did. I just got sick on me, good and
- 9:04Speaker 1: sick of me, and I turned it over to God.
- 9:07Speaker 1: And then God started working And here I am today.
- 9:11Speaker 1: Now see threw it me yet? Nope? Have I arrived yet? Nope?
- 9:17Speaker 1: But guess what the journey is cool? And then you
- 9:22Speaker 1: know what I found out. That's kind of what it's
- 9:24Speaker 1: like in life. If you don't walked off the cliff
- 9:27Speaker 1: in life, and you ain't got no God in your life,
- 9:31Speaker 1: it's like not having a parachute. You step off the
- 9:34Speaker 1: cliff and you just free falling. Now see we all
- 9:39Speaker 1: now that fall gets you closer to the grave, right see,
- 9:41Speaker 1: we all heading to the grave from the moment we're born.
- 9:44Speaker 1: But the cool thing about a relationship with God is
- 9:47Speaker 1: when you step off the cliff and you got God
- 9:50Speaker 1: here a parachute. You're still going down, but it's a
- 9:54Speaker 1: nice ride. You guide, and you're glad, and you're softly,
- 9:57Speaker 1: you enjoying your look around. You smile, You're meeting other
- 10:00Speaker 1: people along the way. You're floating over here to skie
- 10:05Speaker 1: a little while. You over there at the beach for
- 10:07Speaker 1: a little while, you mess around over here, you get
- 10:10Speaker 1: to go out the country a little bit on your
- 10:11Speaker 1: parachuting all and God just helps your your descent appear
- 10:16Speaker 1: more like a rise and then more like a euphoric fall,
- 10:20Speaker 1: instead of not having no God in your life and
- 10:23Speaker 1: you just walking off that cliff every day, free falling.
- 10:26Speaker 1: Ain't got no core, You steady pulling, you hauling the
- 10:30Speaker 1: whole way because you mess around with yourself and ain't
- 10:33Speaker 1: let God come into your life and provide a parachute
- 10:36Speaker 1: for you. I would rather have a parachute since I
- 10:39Speaker 1: got to jump every day, than to not have one.
- 10:43Speaker 1: God has been like a parachute from me. Ask me
- 10:47Speaker 1: why where that came from? I can't tell you. But
- 10:50Speaker 1: like I always say, most good things that happened in
- 10:53Speaker 1: my life that I can't explain, it's usually him. You're
- 10:57Speaker 1: listening to show. Excuse me, this is just Steve Harvey
- 11:04Speaker 1: Morning Show. It's about to begin, and you are now
- 11:07Speaker 1: officially a part of it. Do not attempt to get
- 11:11Speaker 1: off the ride. You are locked in. There is no
- 11:15Speaker 1: way of getting out. In other words, folks, you're being
- 11:20Speaker 1: held hostage. J Anthony Brown and Thomas Miles, you very
- 11:26Speaker 1: familiar with this situation. Ladies and gentlemen. Shirley Strawberry, Hey,
- 11:32Speaker 1: good morning, Steve, Colin Pharrell, what's happening? What's up Steve?
- 11:37Speaker 1: What's up? Crew? I'm looking for Junior Morning up right here?
- 11:44Speaker 1: And j Anthony Brown. Once that hammer comes down across
- 11:49Speaker 1: that barn, comes down across your arms, you cannot get out.
- 11:52Speaker 1: You locked in. Damn you and Tommy tom but yeah, everybody, Hey, hey, hey, hey,
- 12:06Speaker 1: what is happening? He remember that the TV show? Some TV?
- 12:15Speaker 1: Oh and well it has begun. What the show show?
- 12:23Speaker 1: Oh that's the truth. Else we know the show. We
- 12:31Speaker 1: just got here. What happened? What does he say you did? Now?
- 12:36Speaker 1: We didn't even know? Man, what happened? You sounded like
- 12:39Speaker 1: you had some insight insight phone, Well, you know, I'm
- 12:44Speaker 1: broadcasting from Dubie. What's the whale fudo Ideah, boy, that's bawling. Okay,
- 12:57Speaker 1: would you stop apologizing? It's okay, now say it again.
- 13:02Speaker 1: Say it again, next the moon, say it again like
- 13:06Speaker 1: you mean it. Well, okay, I'm gonna trash. I'm being excited.
- 13:13Speaker 1: Oh you don't understand, but you don't. We can't take it. Well.
- 13:18Speaker 1: But see I told you we're not doing that. No,
- 13:22Speaker 1: not in the one nine. God is blessing you. So
- 13:26Speaker 1: let's have it. Okay, it's a deal. I mean, dude,
- 13:30Speaker 1: b Now we leave you and I'm doing the radio
- 13:37Speaker 1: from him. Look at God around, look at my lord.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Won't he do it? Baby? Do it? Juli. We're gonna
- 13:52Speaker 1: have to rewrite the song. I know you are around
- 13:54Speaker 1: with your Jesus sandals on. I know you're doing it. Oh,
- 13:57Speaker 1: old Lord Duval, living your best life. I'm too sure
- 14:06Speaker 1: to be tripping little business. It's mostly business trip for me.
- 14:11Speaker 1: But the business trip is when they take you to
- 14:14Speaker 1: dinner over here. It's different. You better stunt were Yeah,
- 14:23Speaker 1: we've never munched that off for you. I think for you,
- 14:27Speaker 1: mister Harvey and missus Harvey. You I guess thank you.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Oh wow, all right, Steve, So you're traveling. You always
- 14:34Speaker 1: have a funny travel story. You gotta you gotta tell
- 14:36Speaker 1: us one when we come back at thirty two after
- 14:39Speaker 1: the hour, right after this, I know he's God. You're
- 14:43Speaker 1: listening to Steven Show, all right. So Steve, before we
- 14:48Speaker 1: went to break you told us you were in due
- 14:51Speaker 1: by Oh my god, how exciting. Yes, but I'm supposed
- 14:57Speaker 1: to not act like this. You know. I was trying
- 14:59Speaker 1: to in y'all snap me out of it. I was
- 15:01Speaker 1: trying to safeguard it from the haters. But then Carlin said,
- 15:05Speaker 1: we're not doing that in two thoy nineteen. No, No,
- 15:09Speaker 1: it's you're blacked. Yes, okay, well, you know a huge
- 15:14Speaker 1: part of it is I'm um, you know, I mean
- 15:17Speaker 1: I asked God to uh increase my global brand and
- 15:22Speaker 1: Pussano they started back with dough the what shall I
- 15:27Speaker 1: call it? The miss universe faux Paul. Uh, you know what.
- 15:32Speaker 1: I made the mistake and said the wrong name, right. Uh,
- 15:35Speaker 1: that was the beginning. My name had been Google within
- 15:38Speaker 1: forty eight hours, four billion times, so I was world
- 15:43Speaker 1: famous and even over here they know it for that.
- 15:46Speaker 1: But it's talked about differently over here around the world's
- 15:50Speaker 1: talked about what an honorable thing you did. And so
- 15:55Speaker 1: it's just been increasing, yeah right, you know through Africa,
- 16:00Speaker 1: and it's been increasing through the UAE. And so I'm
- 16:06Speaker 1: being honored over here with the Links Award, which is
- 16:11Speaker 1: the well congratulations they recognize. Uh, they're recognizing me for
- 16:19Speaker 1: having the most global presence on television from the United
- 16:26Speaker 1: States to Earth parts of killing. Man. I didn't even
- 16:30Speaker 1: know I was this big in the UAE, but little
- 16:34Speaker 1: big shots and family feud is so huge over here. Wow.
- 16:38Speaker 1: So that's when I got I'm getting award for that
- 16:41Speaker 1: and I'm accepting it or Wednesday night, I gotta ask
- 16:47Speaker 1: so money to your name. Yeah. Man, it's like it's
- 16:52Speaker 1: like really really an amazing thing that's happening over here.
- 16:55Speaker 1: But I'm at this event last night, right, and uh,
- 17:00Speaker 1: this guy has been drinking a bit much, okay, and
- 17:05Speaker 1: uh you know he already ain't from America, so you
- 17:08Speaker 1: know my understanding of what he talking about it, but
- 17:11Speaker 1: he wasn't he wasn't Muslim, and so he was talking
- 17:15Speaker 1: to me and he said, suh suh, it's just you.
- 17:22Speaker 1: I have always wanted to meet you. I said, uh, yeah,
- 17:26Speaker 1: and I can tell you was slurring his speech a
- 17:28Speaker 1: little bit. So I said, yeah, man, yeah, it's cool.
- 17:31Speaker 1: How you doing it? Oh? I loved you in your movie,
- 17:36Speaker 1: and so now I'm thinking one movie I did. There's
- 17:39Speaker 1: been over him. He said, you were in Superman three.
- 17:45Speaker 1: Tell me it's just you. So I said, now, you
- 17:49Speaker 1: know I don't watch movies, right, So I'm thinking Iron Man,
- 17:55Speaker 1: Terence Howard. I got the wrong superhero. I got the
- 18:02Speaker 1: wrong person exactly. So seriously, so I'm saying, nah, man,
- 18:07Speaker 1: I wasn't in that movie. Man, you got me mistaken. No, no, no,
- 18:11Speaker 1: it's you. It's just my favorite movie. I watched it
- 18:16Speaker 1: when I was young. What are you talking about? Now?
- 18:20Speaker 1: I don't even know who in Superman? You know, I
- 18:26Speaker 1: have no clue who's in Superman three. So I'm telling
- 18:29Speaker 1: the dude. I said, nah, man, I wasn't in the movie.
- 18:32Speaker 1: I'm sorry. You are hurting me. Oh it is you.
- 18:37Speaker 1: I wanted picture and an autograph. I said, Bro, you're
- 18:40Speaker 1: gonna get a picture in an autograph or somebody? What
- 18:43Speaker 1: You're thinking? It's in a movie that ain't in no
- 18:45Speaker 1: damn movie. Down Then he said, what did you say?
- 18:48Speaker 1: I said, I ain't in no damn movie. He said
- 18:51Speaker 1: why are you kissing me? So I got scared. You know,
- 18:57Speaker 1: I'm in another country, pull up any where they don't cuss. No, well,
- 19:05Speaker 1: obviously he was on some other stuff. Oh god. So
- 19:08Speaker 1: the lady that knew me that that arranged for us
- 19:11Speaker 1: to come over, and she came over and said, excuse me,
- 19:14Speaker 1: what what are you doing? And he says, I ain't
- 19:17Speaker 1: asking for a picture. She said, he's not here for pictures.
- 19:21Speaker 1: Why why are you? Why are you drunk? And she
- 19:24Speaker 1: just went in on the dude, and I felt bad
- 19:27Speaker 1: for him. I said, no, no, he no, you are drunk.
- 19:29Speaker 1: Here's our guest gets away from him. Are you still here?
- 19:36Speaker 1: Why are you still? Are you still here? So I said, okay,
- 19:40Speaker 1: I've never been to prison out the country before, and
- 19:45Speaker 1: I already know my lawyer don't work over here because
- 19:48Speaker 1: he ain't got no don't degree to practice law be here.
- 19:52Speaker 1: And even though he's standing right over there, he's drinking
- 19:55Speaker 1: right now, so he don't know. They don't fit to
- 19:58Speaker 1: go to jail. And I just still that man. That
- 20:00Speaker 1: lady ran that dude off, and then he hooked back
- 20:02Speaker 1: around and said, you were not in the movie. Huh,
- 20:07Speaker 1: Well hell no. I tried to tell your ass I
- 20:10Speaker 1: was never in the movie. Yeah he came back, So
- 20:13Speaker 1: you were not in the movie. Huh. That's what I
- 20:16Speaker 1: told you a when you was open. Okay, So, y'all
- 20:20Speaker 1: who was in Superman three? Richard, Richard Pryor, Richard Okay,
- 20:26Speaker 1: my wife told me, Yeah, you didn't believer he no,
- 20:31Speaker 1: So I thought, she says, no. I thought he just
- 20:37Speaker 1: we were in the car, she says, Steve, he thought
- 20:39Speaker 1: you were Richard Pryor. And I said, I didn't know
- 20:42Speaker 1: Richard Prye was in Superman. Yeah that's a good mistake. Though.
- 20:46Speaker 1: He made a good mistake. Yeah, you look like it
- 20:48Speaker 1: looked so much alike. He could have done you Crawford,
- 20:51Speaker 1: and that would have been fact. The fact that he
- 20:55Speaker 1: didn't know Richard does not hear anymore the problem. That's
- 20:58Speaker 1: the problem. And didn't Yeah, because you did commercial this time.
- 21:03Speaker 1: Oh I love I love the image flight. It was
- 21:06Speaker 1: seven whole different level that premium class on image Man.
- 21:11Speaker 1: It was like it's like Baller. They have badge and everything.
- 21:16Speaker 1: You can take a shower. You can take a shower. Yeah,
- 21:20Speaker 1: you can take a shower. Yeah, you can order a shower.
- 21:23Speaker 1: So an hour before I land, I ordered my shower.
- 21:25Speaker 1: I just went off took a shower. You know, it's
- 21:29Speaker 1: it's just it's it's another level of flying image. It
- 21:32Speaker 1: really is. All right. Well, thank it's hid now, Thank
- 21:36Speaker 1: you for that. God is good. Coming up next more fun.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Run that prank back with the nephew right after this,
- 21:45Speaker 1: you're listening to coming up at the top of the
- 21:50Speaker 1: hour and entertainment news. Chance the rapper is Chance the
- 21:54Speaker 1: husband now, isn't that cute? And Whoopie Goldberg's absence from
- 21:58Speaker 1: the view is a dude too severe healthcare? Um, but

- 22:22Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach Carmen. Miss miss Carmen. Uh this
- 22:25Speaker 1: is an uh my asks can I'm the principal at
- 22:30Speaker 1: the high school where your daughter goes. This is mister Porter. Porter,
- 22:33Speaker 1: how are you doing today? I'm fine? Is everything good? Yeah?
- 22:37Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, every every everything is everything is fine.
- 22:39Speaker 1: Now your daughter is tenth grade Crystal right correct, Okay, Okay,
- 22:45Speaker 1: I want to make sure I'm you know, we got
- 22:46Speaker 1: so many kids with the same names. I wanted to
- 22:48Speaker 1: make sure I had the right person. Um, So here's
- 22:51Speaker 1: the issue. You say your name was Nate. Yeah, okay, Nate.
- 22:55Speaker 1: What were the problem we're having here at the school
- 22:57Speaker 1: is I don't know if you are aware of it,
- 22:59Speaker 1: but when your your wife drops Crystal off at school,
- 23:03Speaker 1: we've got the parents as well as some of the teachers.
- 23:07Speaker 1: They're they're complaining about what she's uh, what she's wearing.
- 23:11Speaker 1: What your wife is wearing? Yeah, what she's wearing when
- 23:14Speaker 1: she drops the kids off. Evidently her clothes are very
- 23:18Speaker 1: skimpy and and her butt cheeks, her butt cheeks are out.
- 23:22Speaker 1: You know, I don't know if she's I haven't actually
- 23:24Speaker 1: seen her, but I've been getting these reports from h
- 23:28Speaker 1: We've been getting that's a little strange to me. I'm
- 23:30Speaker 1: typically at work. Uh, I mean, I don't know what
- 23:34Speaker 1: she's wearing. I'm I'm gonna have to talk to her
- 23:37Speaker 1: later on today. Okay, Well, what I was gonna suggest is, uh,
- 23:42Speaker 1: you know, I actually I thought I was calling her phone.
- 23:45Speaker 1: I didn't know I was. I was gonna get you.
- 23:47Speaker 1: But what I wanted to do is get her to
- 23:50Speaker 1: come up here so I can see what she wearing.
- 23:53Speaker 1: You know, No, no, no, I think I got this
- 23:56Speaker 1: handle due I can take care of it. Well well, well,
- 23:58Speaker 1: I think it's gonna be better for both of us,
- 24:00Speaker 1: like if I was able to see her uh in
- 24:03Speaker 1: the and let her look look player, look, look, I
- 24:07Speaker 1: got it, my daughter. This is not even really concerning
- 24:10Speaker 1: my daughter. This is uh you know, this is this
- 24:13Speaker 1: is above that. Take Radelet let me handling. So um,
- 24:17Speaker 1: you know, you know my daughter going to the the principal's
- 24:19Speaker 1: office is one thing. I'll be on top of that,
- 24:20Speaker 1: but I'm definitely gonna be on top of this. So so,
- 24:23Speaker 1: like I said, I think I got this handling right now.
- 24:25Speaker 1: What now, your wife, Carmen, is she there? Uh? Yeah, okay,
- 24:31Speaker 1: I mean, is there anyway I can talk to her? No,
- 24:34Speaker 1: Like I told you, I think I think I got
- 24:36Speaker 1: this one. I can take care of this. Um. And
- 24:40Speaker 1: you know, my my thing is I've already told you
- 24:42Speaker 1: that three times. I don't know we're really going with this.
- 24:45Speaker 1: You know, I'm gonna I'm gonna talk to her and
- 24:48Speaker 1: get the situation situation rectified soon as I can. Okay,
- 24:51Speaker 1: but you don't you know, you don't need to you
- 24:53Speaker 1: don't need to see her, you know, talk to her
- 24:55Speaker 1: or not like being the principle here at the school, sir.
- 24:59Speaker 1: Uh Like I said, Um, you know, I'm just trying to,
- 25:02Speaker 1: you know, handle the school in an orderly fashion and
- 25:04Speaker 1: make sure that all things are taking care of around
- 25:07Speaker 1: here and we have no issues and no problems. So
- 25:09Speaker 1: what I play. You're not talking to my daughter, You're
- 25:11Speaker 1: talking to me. I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm a husband,
- 25:14Speaker 1: I'm a father. I'm telling me when I tell you
- 25:16Speaker 1: I got to handle, I got a handle. I understand that.
- 25:18Speaker 1: But I have to handle my school. Though. You understand
- 25:22Speaker 1: that I have to handle the school. I would drop
- 25:24Speaker 1: my door off myself. Okay, I understand that. What No,
- 25:27Speaker 1: I mean, do I need to come up there and
- 25:28Speaker 1: talk to you? No, I need your wife to come
- 25:30Speaker 1: talk to me. I need to see what she'd be wearing.
- 25:32Speaker 1: I don't need to talk to my wife. Player. Do
- 25:34Speaker 1: you have a wife, Yeah, I have a wife. Became
- 25:37Speaker 1: of my office. But what what what do you? What
- 25:39Speaker 1: do you? What are you? What are you talking about? No?
- 25:41Speaker 1: What are you talking about that. My wife needs to
- 25:42Speaker 1: come and and and so you can inspect her outfit.
- 25:45Speaker 1: I'm not playing that game, player, I'm not We're not
- 25:48Speaker 1: doing that. Okay, I need to see what your wife
- 25:50Speaker 1: be wearing when she's dropping these keys yourself phone. I
- 25:53Speaker 1: send your picture. Hey, man, a man, I think we
- 25:55Speaker 1: must have gone down the wrong street, but just come Yeah, no,
- 25:58Speaker 1: we do definitely down the wrong bullet on this one. Player. Okay,
- 26:01Speaker 1: let me let me just make it very clear to you.
- 26:03Speaker 1: My wife you're seeing in the office and all that.
- 26:06Speaker 1: Maybe we can't come up to you to morrow. It's
- 26:08Speaker 1: gonna be me and her. No, he's not coming up
- 26:10Speaker 1: to the principal's office. You don't need to do it.
- 26:12Speaker 1: But we don't have a problem with you. We just
- 26:14Speaker 1: need her. I just need to see you. You're gonna
- 26:17Speaker 1: have a problem with me if we keep going down
- 26:19Speaker 1: this road right now, okay, so so bro so, It's
- 26:21Speaker 1: okay for her to have her butt cheeks out when
- 26:23Speaker 1: she dropped the kids off, But as soon as I
- 26:25Speaker 1: want to have her come out of office for a
- 26:27Speaker 1: meeting about this situation right now, right now, you he said,
- 26:31Speaker 1: you claiming her blood cheases out like seases out right now,
- 26:35Speaker 1: You out of pocket? Okay, No, it was out of
- 26:37Speaker 1: pocket when she pulled up and got out the car
- 26:39Speaker 1: and her butt was out of pocket. That's when it
- 26:41Speaker 1: was out of pocket. So so what you can't do, Nate,
- 26:44Speaker 1: is be mad at me by what your wife then
- 26:45Speaker 1: put on and wall up here to the school. Look, man,
- 26:48Speaker 1: like I said, I'm I'm gonna do what I gotta
- 26:50Speaker 1: do on this on this end, your end is to
- 26:53Speaker 1: handle what's going on in your school. Wellever Denny, You're
- 26:56Speaker 1: not handling that end over there. So that's why I'm
- 26:58Speaker 1: stepping up as the principal of this who's saying I
- 27:00Speaker 1: need to have a meeting, a private meeting with your wife.
- 27:03Speaker 1: So we heard and I can talk about what's she wearing.
- 27:06Speaker 1: But man, I haven't told you several times coming up
- 27:10Speaker 1: there on her own, it's not gonna happen. So this
- 27:13Speaker 1: is where we at right now. You know what you're
- 27:15Speaker 1: not gonna happen? Say what? Say what you say? You
- 27:19Speaker 1: what's gonna happen Tomorrow? I'm gonna come up there and
- 27:21Speaker 1: drop my daughter off to come see you. So you're
- 27:23Speaker 1: coming here tomorrow, absolutely, Okay, Okay, okay, okay, okay, so
- 27:29Speaker 1: are you bringing miss Carmen, which you don't worry about.
- 27:32Speaker 1: Who's with me? I'm not a telephone tuck guy money.
- 27:34Speaker 1: I'm coming up there to handle this right now because
- 27:37Speaker 1: you out of But this is how it's going down.
- 27:39Speaker 1: There will be no butt cheeks coming out out tomorrow.
- 27:42Speaker 1: It's just gonna be coming out to car or some
- 27:45Speaker 1: real you understand. What's your name again? My name? I'm
- 27:49Speaker 1: port of the principle here all right. There'll be no
- 27:51Speaker 1: butt cheeks tomorrow. You will see me coming out the car. Okay, okay, okay, Uh,
- 27:58Speaker 1: well there is there is a another issue we got
- 28:00Speaker 1: here on the table, and what is that? So so
- 28:04Speaker 1: miss Carmen as she told you about, uh, the conversation
- 28:09Speaker 1: she's been having with Tommy. Who is Tommy? So that
- 28:13Speaker 1: once again, so your wife ain't telling you nothing? So
- 28:15Speaker 1: she she hadn't told you nothing about her talking to Tommy. No, dude,
- 28:19Speaker 1: I don't want to play games man. Who's Tommy? Okay?
- 28:21Speaker 1: So so okay, okay, do you know? Okay, okay, cool?
- 28:26Speaker 1: Do you know who nephew Tommy is from the Steve
- 28:28Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show? Do you know him? Yeah? I know nay, nay,
- 28:43Speaker 1: you just got pranked by your wife, Carmen. Baby, Hey,
- 28:47Speaker 1: at least he knows. Oh my god, wow, oh man,

- 29:17Speaker 1: purpose of a prank. Thank you, Jan go in. It

- 34:56Speaker 1: gonna want to do it. Okay, Man, all right, I
- 34:58Speaker 1: take thirty party. Okay, I'm thirty, y'all. Twenty you've got
- 35:05Speaker 1: you've got the lions. Yeah, Well, if you getting thirty,
- 35:08Speaker 1: I want thirty two. I'm at thirty two, not thirty
- 35:11Speaker 1: thirty two. I have a feeling this is gonna come
- 35:15Speaker 1: back up during the show this morning. Got no money.
- 35:17Speaker 1: Look at the argue, Yeah, listen to Yeah. Take it
- 35:21Speaker 1: to headlines, please, ladies and gentlemen, miss Anne trip, thank you,
- 35:26Speaker 1: thank you, guys. Okay. The TRU administration says it's working
- 35:28Speaker 1: with the Government of Ethiopia to discover the reason why
- 35:31Speaker 1: a brand new Bowing jet crashed shortly after taking off
- 35:34Speaker 1: from Addis Idaba on Sunday, All one hundred and fifty
- 35:36Speaker 1: seven people on board would kill and this is the
- 35:38Speaker 1: second deadly crash in five months with the same model plane.
- 35:42Speaker 1: It's a seven through seven Boeing Max eight with the
- 35:44Speaker 1: White House spokesman Sarah Sanders to loves the administration's condolences.
- 35:48Speaker 1: We extend our prayers to the loved ones and friends
- 35:51Speaker 1: and family of those killed in the tragic crash. At
- 35:53Speaker 1: least eight US citizens were among the victims. We were
- 35:56Speaker 1: working with the Government of Ethiopia and Ethiopian Airlines to
- 35:59Speaker 1: offer are all possible assistance. Some three hundred and fifty
- 36:02Speaker 1: Max eights are in service around the world, including more
- 36:04Speaker 1: than seventy of them here in the US. Several countries
- 36:07Speaker 1: have grounded their Max Eights while that probe is going
- 36:10Speaker 1: on into what caused the crash. However, US carries for
- 36:12Speaker 1: now say they have no plans it's to stop flying
- 36:15Speaker 1: the jets, at least not now. Situation in Venezuela continues
- 36:18Speaker 1: to deteriorate, now Secretary of State Mike Pumpeo announcing he's
- 36:21Speaker 1: pulling out the last Romanian personnel from the usmbassy in Caracas.
- 36:24Speaker 1: Venezuela's now in a sixth day of complete darkness. No electricity.
- 36:28Speaker 1: The lack of electricity has brought oil exports to a hall,
- 36:31Speaker 1: closing schools, businesses, and affecting hospitals. President Trump has delivered
- 36:35Speaker 1: as proposed twenty twenty budget to the Congress. It's a
- 36:38Speaker 1: four point seventy five trillion dollars spending plan, deep cuts
- 36:42Speaker 1: for domestic programs, as you would expect. How Speaker Nancy
- 36:45Speaker 1: Pelosi says she doesn't support impeaching President Trump because it
- 36:48Speaker 1: wouldn't be worth it. Democrats have chosen Milwaukee as the
- 36:51Speaker 1: whole city for their presidential nominating convention in twenty twenty,
- 36:54Speaker 1: and believe it or not, today it's Alfred Hitchcock Day.
- 36:57Speaker 1: I didn't know they had an Alfred Hitchcock Day, but
- 36:59Speaker 1: here it is. It's an an trip. Now back to
- 37:01Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to the Stry
- 37:05Speaker 1: Morning Show. In political news, the Democratic National Committee is
- 37:10Speaker 1: looking to learn from the mistakes of the twenty sixteen campaign.
- 37:14Speaker 1: It's twenty twenty convention. Get this, Steve. The twenty twenty
- 37:18Speaker 1: Democratic Convention will be held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Okay, yeah, well,
- 37:26Speaker 1: I mean, you know, it's traditionally a battleground state. But
- 37:29Speaker 1: remember back in twenty sixteen, Hillary Clinton did not even
- 37:33Speaker 1: campaign there at all. She didn't even go there. Wisconsin, Yes,
- 37:38Speaker 1: you know, taking them for granted, assuming she had it
- 37:41Speaker 1: in the bag already. Then Donald Trump narrowly won there.
- 37:44Speaker 1: That was one of three states that tipped the election
- 37:46Speaker 1: in his favor. Remember the DNC chose Milwaukee over Miami
- 37:51Speaker 1: and Houston. The convention will run from July thirteenth through
- 37:54Speaker 1: the sixteenth of next year. And yeah, next year election
- 38:00Speaker 1: is in November. Huh. And they couldn't get texts right?
- 38:04Speaker 1: How many how many candidates that Democrats have so far? Twelve? Yeah?
- 38:13Speaker 1: What do you say? What you said? Just sixty three? Yeah,
- 38:17Speaker 1: on a good day. But uh yeah. And the Republicans
- 38:23Speaker 1: are going to have their convention in Charlotte, North Carolina.
- 38:26Speaker 1: You know, they're trying to flip the script. The Republicans
- 38:29Speaker 1: are trying to call Democrats socialists. Now, yeah, so that's
- 38:33Speaker 1: that's gonna be something they got to work on. Now
- 38:35Speaker 1: it's only two Democratic candidates that are socialists that claims
- 38:39Speaker 1: being that's Bernie Sanders and somebody else. Even Elizabeth Warren
- 38:44Speaker 1: was talking about increasing the taxes on the rich even more.
- 38:47Speaker 1: That's a dog fight. They're gonna be in with that
- 38:50Speaker 1: one man. That's gonna be a real dog fight. Well
- 38:53Speaker 1: check this out, Steve. Voters in Iowa say former President
- 38:57Speaker 1: Joe Biden is their top choice for president next year,
- 39:01Speaker 1: even though he hasn't declared. Yeah, he hasn't declared. You
- 39:04Speaker 1: at the top of everybody list. Yeah. A recent poul
- 39:07Speaker 1: found that Biden was the first choice of likely voters
- 39:11Speaker 1: in the Iowa Democratic caucus Joe Biden. But it's not
- 39:15Speaker 1: all Biden. He has twenty seven percent of the tally.
- 39:19Speaker 1: Then Bernie Sanders came in second with twenty five So
- 39:23Speaker 1: that's real close, right there, only two percentage difference. And
- 39:26Speaker 1: Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren Steve came in third. I can't
- 39:31Speaker 1: believe she's in front of Kamala Kamala. I can't believe
- 39:36Speaker 1: Cory Booker, Kamala. It's like twelve candidates, twelve Democratic candidates
- 39:40Speaker 1: so far. I'm really worried about the perception of color
- 39:51Speaker 1: because after Obama, man, I just they are. I'm so
- 39:56Speaker 1: concerned about the perception of color at this point, especially
- 40:00Speaker 1: the rhetoric coming from the White House. I'm concerned about that.
- 40:04Speaker 1: But I want anybody except him to be president and
- 40:08Speaker 1: we have to do our part. Yeah, and pants, Pants
- 40:10Speaker 1: can't be vice president. Yeah no, he's worse. Yeah, all right,
- 40:14Speaker 1: coming up at thirty four after the hour, Jesse Smallett's
- 40:17Speaker 1: attorney said, the sixteen count and died at charges our overkill.
- 40:22Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after this. You're listening to show. Okay,
- 40:29Speaker 1: as we told you yesterday, a grand jury in Chicago
- 40:31Speaker 1: and died at Jesse Smallett on sixteen felony counts of
- 40:35Speaker 1: disorderly conduct for allegedly lying to police about being the
- 40:40Speaker 1: victim of a racist and homophobic hate crime. Jesse Smallett
- 40:44Speaker 1: and his attorney have denied the allegations against him. His
- 40:48Speaker 1: attorney is Mark Garrigos. Of course, call the indictment prosecutorial overkill. Okay,
- 40:54Speaker 1: here any words you want to use or be fine
- 40:57Speaker 1: with me? We don't know. Yeah, no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 41:03Speaker 1: no, no no anyway, And they added this is redundant and
- 41:08Speaker 1: a vindictive indictment and nothing more than a desperate attempt
- 41:13Speaker 1: to make headlines in order to distract from the internal
- 41:16Speaker 1: investigation launch to investigate the outrageous leaking of false information
- 41:21Speaker 1: by the Chicago police department. Wow, Okay, I don't know
- 41:25Speaker 1: what's going Here's my hope for this young guy, because
- 41:29Speaker 1: it's been a horrible mistake, a horrible mistake. Absolutely, if
- 41:35Speaker 1: you fight this, they're gonna throw the fuel fury at you.
- 41:39Speaker 1: My only hope is he takes a plea, he learns
- 41:42Speaker 1: his lesson, he does community service, he goes on probation,
- 41:46Speaker 1: and he pays a fine, jail time, does nothing. He's
- 41:50Speaker 1: angered so many people with this, and public opinion is
- 41:54Speaker 1: just shot because if you try to ride this story
- 41:57Speaker 1: out within two brothers that came forward with all this
- 42:01Speaker 1: damning information and buying these ski mask and all this hell. Look, man,
- 42:06Speaker 1: come on, man, let's just let's just chalk this one up.
- 42:09Speaker 1: We took a hit. You know, well, couple plea and
- 42:12Speaker 1: get on out of here. Pow your ass go to jail. Yeah,
- 42:15Speaker 1: he goes to court on Thursday, Steve, so he'll get
- 42:17Speaker 1: a chance to do all of that. Um, you know
- 42:20Speaker 1: that you just mentioned on Thursday when he has his
- 42:23Speaker 1: day in court. Okay, let me ask you all the question.
- 42:25Speaker 1: Can he is does he have a case? I mean,
- 42:28Speaker 1: is he saying he's innocent of the charges? Yeah, he's
- 42:31Speaker 1: still saying that he's still proclaiming his fred but he
- 42:35Speaker 1: hasn't entered a plea in the christ and he will
- 42:38Speaker 1: do that on Thursday, whether he's saying guilty or not guilty.
- 42:41Speaker 1: But but so far, he's saying that he that he
- 42:46Speaker 1: really did get jumped. Yeah, he's sticking to his story.
- 42:50Speaker 1: Yeah see we got to Yeah. See, I don't think
- 42:54Speaker 1: that sticking to his story. I don't think that's gonna
- 42:58Speaker 1: paying out, man, because he's he's he's he's really ticked
- 43:03Speaker 1: off a lot of key groups. Yeah, and always know
- 43:08Speaker 1: that the prosecution is real close to the police department, right,
- 43:12Speaker 1: they work together on cases for sure, trying to catch criminals.
- 43:15Speaker 1: And now Steve, he has a great attorney. Now, you know,
- 43:20Speaker 1: Mark Garrigos is not a punk. He has a great attorney.
- 43:23Speaker 1: And yeah, I wish Look, man, I wish the kid
- 43:27Speaker 1: well because he I think has been a whole apologize
- 43:30Speaker 1: and move on. Man. But I don't I don't know
- 43:33Speaker 1: that you can win this one st it doesn't look
- 43:37Speaker 1: like it. I just don't know that you can win
- 43:39Speaker 1: this or sometimes you got to cut your losses and walk,
- 43:42Speaker 1: you know. Look, man, he can go back to work eventually, yeah,
- 43:46Speaker 1: you know what I mean, I hope. So do you
- 43:48Speaker 1: think he's been blackball? Well? No, this is kind of
- 43:52Speaker 1: ugly right now, you know, so right now, But I
- 43:54Speaker 1: think this country does that go eventually, you know, right.
- 43:58Speaker 1: I was young too, I made a mistake, you know.
- 44:02Speaker 1: But I don't know if he can ride this one
- 44:04Speaker 1: out just based on what I know about the story.
- 44:07Speaker 1: I wish he was absolutely correct. I just don't look
- 44:10Speaker 1: like it. But yeah, no it don't. Man, on Thursday,
- 44:14Speaker 1: we'll know. We'll know some of it on Thursday for sure.
- 44:18Speaker 1: But as you see, as your jail house lawyer sixteen
- 44:21Speaker 1: counsel doll, they all need one. Yeah. Well, here's the
- 44:25Speaker 1: thing though, isn't there doubt though? If there's some kind
- 44:28Speaker 1: of reasonable doubt, if he says not guilty and this
- 44:32Speaker 1: goes through like we're saying, Steve, and it goes to
- 44:35Speaker 1: trial and there's a jury and all this, there there
- 44:38Speaker 1: might be some doubt already created. The two African boys
- 44:46Speaker 1: prove the thing who let me remind y'all of something
- 44:51Speaker 1: you saw the ride m King tape. Yes, they won't
- 44:55Speaker 1: the jury. I'm sorry. The man choked the man out
- 44:59Speaker 1: on the side I walked he walked. You cannot go
- 45:03Speaker 1: to court with them peers. They gonna pick that ain't
- 45:07Speaker 1: gonna be your peers and expecting to see and feel
- 45:09Speaker 1: what you feel the doubt, I'm scared. Yeah again, he'll
- 45:14Speaker 1: have his day in court on Thursday. Now, coming up next,
- 45:17Speaker 1: it is the nephew with the prank phone call. Right
- 45:20Speaker 1: after this you're listening to show coming up at the
- 45:25Speaker 1: top of the hour, Guys, right about four minutes after,
- 45:28Speaker 1: it's my strawberry letter for today, subject I'm looking forward

- 50:17Speaker 1: What is it? What is it? Don't try that American dollars, Franklin, Franklin,
- 50:24Speaker 1: it will be American dollars. I'm not going to know
- 50:28Speaker 1: South Africa. I am not going that. Of fact, it's
- 50:31Speaker 1: my last day and the bro y'all could come pick
- 50:33Speaker 1: up this brig and talking like because I'm not going

- 50:45Speaker 1: you've been into Country Company eight eight plus years, and
- 50:49Speaker 1: I just gotta tell you you are obligated. You've been

- 51:24Speaker 1: but but but but let me ask you something Frankly,
- 51:27Speaker 1: you've been here for what it's for eight some years. Man,
- 51:29Speaker 1: you don't you don't want to continue your job here
- 51:31Speaker 1: with the company. I don't give a about this job
- 51:34Speaker 1: right now, trying to send me overseas like you're setting
- 51:36Speaker 1: me up from them. I ain't going out of fact.
- 51:38Speaker 1: Let me turn this truck on right now. I'm coming
- 51:41Speaker 1: down and see you. Mister Roses o't okay, hold on?
- 51:45Speaker 1: Uh do you know? Jermaine? Yeah, I know. Really, what
- 51:51Speaker 1: do you gotta do with it? Okay? Let me go
- 51:54Speaker 1: and don't say this. Frankly, This right here that you're
- 51:57Speaker 1: talking to is nephew taught me and your boy Rivers
- 52:00Speaker 1: got me the planking phone called you. You just got
- 52:03Speaker 1: pranked by your boy, Jermaine Rivers. Oh that wait till
- 52:11Speaker 1: I see Rivers. So you ain't no roads ago and
- 52:14Speaker 1: I ain't got to go to South Africa? No God,
- 52:20Speaker 1: oh man, this is nothing. Man, I'm just listening to
- 52:26Speaker 1: He's on the road or Rivers? You want to play
- 52:28Speaker 1: with us? I want to put some sugar in your trunk,
- 52:34Speaker 1: all right, Franklin, before we live, man, tell me this.
- 52:37Speaker 1: What is the baddest radio show in the lands. The
- 52:41Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Y'all feeling me on the tips?
- 52:49Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. Love truck driver. Yeah, we
- 52:52Speaker 1: take a truck driver from here, from here you United
- 52:55Speaker 1: States America? Yea, and we exchange him in Africa. You understand.
- 52:59Speaker 1: He goes over there, drave he ain't having it though
- 53:02Speaker 1: he didn't seem like he really want to go with.
- 53:06Speaker 1: Its just not a good time. It's not a good time.
- 53:10Speaker 1: You know how to get the worst out of people, Nephew,
- 53:12Speaker 1: you really do. Working on I'm working on a new cut. Call.
- 53:16Speaker 1: Tell me what y'all think about this hill road tripping,
- 53:20Speaker 1: road tripping, road tripping, a prank CD called road trip
- 53:23Speaker 1: because everybody telling me that they always listening to my
- 53:25Speaker 1: pranks when they on the road trip, you know what
- 53:28Speaker 1: I'm saying. So when they're going on vacation, they got
- 53:30Speaker 1: these long drives, they got a good idea, not a
- 53:32Speaker 1: good idea, okay, because the majority of people are not
- 53:37Speaker 1: on a damn road trip listening to youc. I think
- 53:40Speaker 1: they're gonna be listening to it anyway though anything, they're
- 53:43Speaker 1: gonna not listen to it because to the type okay,
- 53:46Speaker 1: prank CD. No, Steve don't give up. That's not how
- 53:50Speaker 1: you mentor people. One mentoring session you through what is
- 53:56Speaker 1: when your patient unsuccess. He just asked the question, I
- 54:03Speaker 1: ain't gonna listen to me. Let that go. You can
- 54:10Speaker 1: come up with a name that's more indicative of your
- 54:13Speaker 1: your massive listening base. You're huge with your pranks. You're
- 54:17Speaker 1: the king of pranks. It has to be something. Majority
- 54:20Speaker 1: of people ain't listening to your pranks on the road trip,
- 54:22Speaker 1: just a vast majority you hear from people doing that.
- 54:26Speaker 1: But you know, I like it. All right, thank you,
- 54:33Speaker 1: thank you, Uncle Steve. Coming up next, it is today's
- 54:36Speaker 1: Strawberry Letters subjects. I'm looking forward to living in my car.
- 54:41Speaker 1: We're gonna get in the driver's seat of this one.
- 54:43Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to morning show. All right, guys,
- 54:48Speaker 1: it's time now for today's Strawberry Letter. And if you
- 54:51Speaker 1: need advice on relationships, dating, work, sex, parenting, and more,
- 54:55Speaker 1: please submit your Strawberry Letter to Steve Harvey f M
- 54:59Speaker 1: and clicks submit Strawberry Letter. We could be reading your
- 55:02Speaker 1: letter live on the air, just like we're gonna read
- 55:04Speaker 1: this one today and hopefully helps one out with some advice.
- 55:08Speaker 1: Burgle it up, Hold on tight, we got it for you. Here.
- 55:10Speaker 1: It is the Strawberry Letter. All right, Steve, you have
- 55:13Speaker 1: to listen really closely to this one, as you always do,
- 55:16Speaker 1: because I'm sure they're gonna want your help on this
- 55:18Speaker 1: one subject. I'm looking forward to living in my car,
- 55:22Speaker 1: right yes, Dear Stephen Shirley, I am a working female
- 55:29Speaker 1: that's ready to put my belongings in storage and live
- 55:32Speaker 1: in my car because of the problems I'm having in
- 55:35Speaker 1: my apartment. I constantly live with noise above me, next
- 55:39Speaker 1: door to me, and across the hall from me. Above me,
- 55:44Speaker 1: people are dragging things across the floor, stomping and playing
- 55:47Speaker 1: music all day and night. On either side of me,
- 55:51Speaker 1: I can hear my neighbors arguing and having sex until
- 55:55Speaker 1: three and four in the morning. One of my neighbors
- 55:58Speaker 1: has a big dog and he runs up and down
- 56:01Speaker 1: the hallway all of the time. My apartment management company
- 56:05Speaker 1: said there is nothing they can do about what goes
- 56:08Speaker 1: on inside residence apartment, and I'll have to stay there
- 56:12Speaker 1: until my lease is up. I work two jobs, and
- 56:15Speaker 1: I have to be up by five am each morning,
- 56:18Speaker 1: and it's hard to get up when you haven't had
- 56:20Speaker 1: quality sleep. All night. Since nothing can be done to
- 56:23Speaker 1: make my experience living there any better, I'd rather live
- 56:26Speaker 1: in my car and save over twelve hundred dollars a
- 56:30Speaker 1: month that I pay for rent and utilities. I don't
- 56:33Speaker 1: have any friends or co workers that I like enough
- 56:36Speaker 1: to stay with, so I'm looking forward to being on
- 56:38Speaker 1: my own. I think it will be a fun adventure
- 56:41Speaker 1: for a short period of time and a good way
- 56:45Speaker 1: for me to save money so I can get a
- 56:47Speaker 1: nicer place, maybe even by a house. So, Steve, here's
- 56:51Speaker 1: your part, Steve. So, Steve, you often talk about your
- 56:54Speaker 1: experience when you lived in your car. Besides the obvious
- 56:58Speaker 1: safety risks, do you have any advice for me? I'm
- 57:01Speaker 1: not crazy and I only plan to do this temporarily.
- 57:04Speaker 1: What are your thoughts? M Cool? All right, Okay, well
- 57:09Speaker 1: this sounds crazy. I know you said you weren't crazy,
- 57:12Speaker 1: but this does sound crazy. And my solution is very
- 57:14Speaker 1: very simple, because I don't think you should live in
- 57:17Speaker 1: your car. I mean, you know, you got to think
- 57:19Speaker 1: about these situations. You're a woman, You're gonna need the bathroom,
- 57:23Speaker 1: you need your privacy. You know. I understand you want
- 57:26Speaker 1: to save money and all of this, but maybe you
- 57:28Speaker 1: can stay in your apartment and go about saving maybe
- 57:32Speaker 1: not quite as much as you thought you could in
- 57:34Speaker 1: the first place, and that you were planning, you know,
- 57:37Speaker 1: and you mentioned the safety factor. Of course there's a
- 57:39Speaker 1: safety factor. You're leaving yourself way too open here and
- 57:43Speaker 1: way too vulnerable. Yes, that is a major factor. So
- 57:48Speaker 1: I'm just you know, I said all this to say,
- 57:51Speaker 1: and my answer will be very short because I know
- 57:53Speaker 1: you want to hear Steve's right now. You gotta get
- 57:55Speaker 1: yourself she said it so Steve you often talk about
- 57:59Speaker 1: it is right there in the letter. I just think,
- 58:02Speaker 1: you know, like I said, my answer is going to
- 58:04Speaker 1: be simple. You should make a quick investment and some
- 58:08Speaker 1: really good ear plugs. Okay you have to do that.
- 58:12Speaker 1: Uh and uh put you know, put them inside your
- 58:16Speaker 1: ears so you can't hear things. Okay, you won't be
- 58:19Speaker 1: able to hear all this stuff. Get yourself some professional headphones,
- 58:23Speaker 1: the kind that we use that they block out all
- 58:25Speaker 1: the noise, all the sounds. There are things you can
- 58:28Speaker 1: huh why yeah, so you can't she can't sleep? Yeah,
- 58:35Speaker 1: um uh, you know, get some professional headphones that block
- 58:38Speaker 1: out the sound, so so you can get your much
- 58:41Speaker 1: needed rest. You're much needed sleep. Uh. Listen in this building.
- 58:45Speaker 1: If you don't want to live in this apartment, maybe
- 58:46Speaker 1: you can transfer to another floor, another another uh place
- 58:51Speaker 1: to live on the property. There are other things you
- 58:53Speaker 1: can do besides resorting to your car. People who live
- 58:56Speaker 1: in their car don't have any other choices. They don't
- 58:59Speaker 1: live in it because as they want an adventure. Okay,
- 59:02Speaker 1: so that's why I said, Yes, this is crazy. No,
- 59:05Speaker 1: you do that if you absolutely have to. You don't
- 59:07Speaker 1: have to in this situation. Steve, did you just suck
- 59:14Speaker 1: your teeth? Are you crazy? Question one? Question two? Have
- 59:23Speaker 1: you lost your damn mind? Girl? What? There was nothing
- 59:30Speaker 1: in this letter that made sense to nobody listening. But
- 59:37Speaker 1: since you included me because you talked about this was
- 59:40Speaker 1: not an adventure, right, this fun adventure? What? Lady? Let
- 59:48Speaker 1: me start? Let me let me take this letter apart
- 59:51Speaker 1: from top to bike. I'm a hard working female, right dad,
- 59:56Speaker 1: who's ready to put my belongings in storage and live
- 59:59Speaker 1: in my car. But you want to put all your
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: stuff in storage and go live in a car, you said,
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: because of the problems I'm having in my apartment. Are
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: you listening to this letter? You're having some problems in
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: your apartment, meaning you have a front dough affront dot,
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: you got windus, you got rooms, you can turn corner,
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: you can stand up and walk around. And now it
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: is happening in the car. You can't stand up in
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: your car and walk. Let's start there. I constantly live
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: with noise above me. Oh so you think living in
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: your car ain't gonna be no noise above you? Listen
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: to somebody who lived in a car. So you don't
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: like the noise above you? So now they make it
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: too much noise? How about when helicopters is above you.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: How about the sound of a crane working above you?
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: How about the sound of tree leaves blowing in the
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: wind above you. How about the sound of rain on
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: your rooftop. How about when it hails on your rooftop?
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: See all these and sounds that's above you living in
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: your car. I constantly live with noise above me, next
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: door to me, and across the hall from me. Well,
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: let's think about what's next dough to you, at least
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: the next dough on the other wall. What about them,
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: cause that's gonna be pulling up next to you with
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: people in that you don't know what about when the
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: police come up and tap on your window and keep
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: asking you are you okay? Steve? I'm just telling you
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: that's what happened. When you're homeless. You're living in your
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: car like there's gonna be some fun ass that if
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: you lost your damn mind. People dragging things cross the floor.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: What you get across the flow? There ain't no flow
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: in your car. Crazy ass playing music all day and night. Girl,
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: You better get used to this damn music all day
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: and night, because when you live outside, you ain't gonna
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: believe a noise. Whoa cow? Hold that thought, Steve. We'll
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: have part two of your response coming up at twenty
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: three after the hour's subject I'm looking forward to living
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: in my car, or as they say in La, in
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: my core. We'll be right back right after this. You're listening,
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: all right, Steve. Let's recap today's Strawberry Letters. Subject I'm
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: looking I'm looking at living in her damn car like
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: because there's gonna be a fun adventure. She trying to say,
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: set for twenty one hundred dollars a month, she gonna
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: leave her apartment, live out in a damn car. She
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: don't like noise Above her, Well, how about to sound
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: a helicopter, because that's what's in your car. Crane's working,
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: that's what that hell hitting your rooftop sleep rain all
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: at the next dough? She don't like the noise next dough?
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: What about when the noise pull up next to your car?
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: What about when the police are knocking on your window?
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: What about when trucks drivers knock on you when they
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: you don't care in that little man, Yeah, I'm fine.
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: You're female and you're sleeping in the car. You're not
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: just gonna work. Then you send a bit talking about up.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: I can hear my neighbors arguing and having sex to
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: three and four in the morning. What you think they
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: do in the car next to you? But they argue,
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: then they have sex. But they but people pull up
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: next to you in your car and get what they'd
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: be doing. A lot of people be arguing. They play
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: loud music when they pull up next to you, and
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: they have sex when they pull up next to you,
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: But you in a car. One of my neighbors had
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: a big dog and he run them down the hallway
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: all the time. Lady, the dog is running up down
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: the hallway. What about when you get up out your car,
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: and they any of them down. She didn't think about
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: any of that. Lady, I'm telling you that I've been there.
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: This ain't what you want to do. My apartment management
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: company said, there's nothing they can do about what goes
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: on inside residence apartments, and I have to stay down
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: until my lease is up. I worked two jobs and
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: have to be up about five am each morning. Let's
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: stop right there. The leasing agent can't do nothing that's
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: going on in that apartment. Right well, when you live
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: in your car outside, you can't do nothing about nothing
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: that goes on outside. A matter of fact, you ain't
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: got at least department that you can go talk to
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: it about. You can't go tell it to the police.
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: At least you can go down there register complaint. And
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: then she said and then she said, oh oh uh,
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: I work two jobs and I have to be up
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: at five am each morning. Okay, well let me tell
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: you this him. When you get up at five o'clock
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: in the morning, now your ass got to find the bathroom.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: You have to go find one because it ain't one
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: in your car. So now you're up at five am.
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: You got to go find a bathroom. Now you ain't
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: no man, so he can't just stand behind a tree.
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: So now true, what are you talking about doing? I
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: got two jobs, make she said they. I haven't head
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: of quality sleep all night. How you think it is
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: sleeping in the car. You can't stretch out in your car.
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: I'm six two. I stayed balled up for three years.
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: There is no stretching out. They don't make a car
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: walking lay across sideways. I used to put piles of
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: clothes in the back of my car up on You
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: know how the hump was in the car. I used
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: to put clothes to make it even with the humps.
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: I can lay down in the back on the floor
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: to try to get in the closer. Then I have
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: my foot up in the window. M hm. You know
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: how many times please to knocked on that one? I
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: think it's a body in the back sheet. Wow, No,
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: it ain't a body. It's somebody. It's me. I live
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: him quality sleep. I'd rather leave in my car, say
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: twelve hundred dollars. Lady, you're gonna be so sick of that.
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: You know how many hotel rooms you find the bottom? Yeah,
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: you're not gonna say nobody because you don't understand what
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: it is to be homeless. I don't have any friends
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: or co workers that I like enough to stay with.
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: You ain't gonna have no friends or no damn coworkers.
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: You keep coming to work and you ain't bathed anymore.
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: You're not friends. You have to unate every day, every day,
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: and you got to find somewhere. You got to bathe
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: and shower. You got to find somewhere rush your teeth.
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: I got news for your twelve hundred dollars. You're gonna
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: spend it in running your car because it's hard to
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: cut your gag your car because you need heat. You
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: got to run your car to hair he you burning gas?
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: Where you're gonna watch TV? You're listening to me? Are
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: you gonna watch TV on your phonhone? Okay? When I
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: wanted to watch TV, I had to pull up to
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: a circuit city and put up in a cir city.
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: Oh my god, dog, and look over that act TV
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: in the window. I watched TV out. Dog. You ain't
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: thought this out at all at all. And lady, where
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: you're gonna where you gonna pap this car? You can't
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: be nowhere near your job? Somebody ain't that she? Why
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: she peeing in a coffee cat on somebody tree line
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: right where you gonna pick up your male, where you
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: gonna rest, where you gonna close your eyes in your
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: car as a female and feel comfortable. Yes, that apartment
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: you got got a lock on the dog. Stay in
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: your apartment till the lease is up and deal with it.
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: Do not take your crazy behind and live in your
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: damn car. And as you say, because it seemed like
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: a fun adventure, and fun adventure are gonna be You're
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: gonna be so sick of that a day three. On
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: day three, her last next to the last line, Steve,
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: I'm not crazy and I only plan to do this temporarily,
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: and that's why you will be crazy. Do you know
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: the most homeless people a lot of themselves and from
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: mental illness because people quit talking to you. And she
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: been sitting up in a car speaking to people. Anybody
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: been to speak back to me. You have no idea
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: what's gonna happen. You can't get sick in a car. Well,
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: you're gonna go to the bathroom. And whenever you got
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: to go, you got to learn how to lock up
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: for real darkness. You you got to learn how to
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: lock up and go a day without going to the bathroom.
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: You got figuring that out. Now you got to shut
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: your system down. You got the damn to be sitting
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: in your car and got to go to the bathroom
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: so bad with the number two that you black out. Yeah, people,
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: I didn't held it so long where I blacked out,
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: woke up and really had to find a bad People
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: don't choose to live in their cars. Lady, you ever
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: used the bathroom and rest stop that don't have a dope,
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: just a wall next to the stall, and the wall
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: is right next to the latrie. You haven't you been
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: in there? Used bathroom? Ain't got no dough on it
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: like prison, stupid, hen ain't done that. Don't write us
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: no damn mope. All right, listen, email us your Instagram.
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: That's your thoughts on today's Strawberry letter. At Steve Harvey FM.
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: Now coming up in ten minutes, sports talk, antony o'
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: Brown is going to the Raiders and David Irving from
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: the Cowboys quit over the NFL's marijuana policy. Why I
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: see that. Yeah, we'll talk about it right after this.
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: You're listening to Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown finally
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: got his wish over the weekend when he was traded
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: to the Oakland Raiders. It was one of the most
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: amazing NFL trades in recent history. Because Brown is a
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: superstar in the prime of his career. He was disrupted.
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: The Steelers finally had to come to the conclusion that
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: Brown was more trouble than he was worth. What do
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: you guys think, mustache? It's hard to take you serious,
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: it really is. He can play a butt off, then
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: he's a great player. Uh, it's fortunate for him that
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: it worked out this way. Yeah. Yeah. The unfortunate thing
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: is all his boys standing around telling him what he
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: ought to do, that they ain't got his money, his life,
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: and his career, his calling. The sad thing about it is,
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: I want not the sad thing. I wish a b
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: would get rid of the blonde mustache, the one blue
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: wist in his hair, and the one white twist in
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: his hair. Because if you notice, he was on a
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: lot of commercials, man, and they're not gonna put you
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: on them commercials. You'dn't done your last dance for pizza
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: hood all. He was doing really well with endorsements because
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: he's a good looking guy. And he's our ticking it
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: and he has a career. But this blonde mustask and
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: this other stuff right here, it's gonna cost him his endorsements.
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: Now that hunt with blind mustask, can you tell her
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: the same damn thing. It's just it's it's really I'm
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: happy for him because he is a great player. Uh.
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: You know in his time at Pittsburgh was up. But
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: but was he more trouble than he was worth? You think, well,
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: obviously it is because you can't have a disrupted figure
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: in the locker room, Okay, And you know when he yeah,
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: he just had some problems and I think he just
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: let it always get along. Yeah, I think they let
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: it go too far. You know, started off you know,
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: FaceTime and in the locker room while the coach was
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: talking on social media. And then you know, just just
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: is you know, a brat of a player sometimes but
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: incredibly talented. I've met him, nice guy man, beautiful dude.
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: But I just for his endorsements. I wish he would
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: think about the integrity of his methods, which can cost
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: you a portion or your livelihood. And if you think
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: that you should go that route, you're sadly mistaken. And
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: so he's got to start thinking in terms of after
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: football what that could mean for him. But then Tonio Brown,
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: great receiver. I'm happy for him. He got this guaranteed money,
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: and I wish he would think about his endorsement opportunities
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: because it's some pretty pretty big money that that kid
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: is making. It's cute. I don't know what is. Surely
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: he's an outstanding Yeah, he's a bad boy, all right.
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: So moving on. In other sports news, guys, Dallas Cowboys
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: defensive lineman David Irving uh says he's done with the
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: NFL and he hopes the league changes its policy on marijuana.
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: This was an incredible story. Irving delivered his message through Instagram.
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: Take a listen. So basically, guys, I quit, I'm going
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: to talk about a suspension and all this other nonsense.
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: I'm out of there. I'm not doing it no more.
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: You know, it's a lot of reasons. Okay, is he
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: high right now? Yeah? Okay? You know what he come
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: back down? Is he gonna remember what the hell he's
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: just saying? He was smoking right right when he made this,
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: when he was done Instagram love whatever he got did,
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: take that out the market, because that don't need to
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: be out there where he and the Weed League, where
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: you can quit. He just said he quit about Man.
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: Wait what, Junior, he gonna relieve his cell phone? Man,
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: that's about it. Video games. You don't know what he did.
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: He doesn't seriously again again, as I was trying to say,
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: and he took a lot of flak for it. The
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: integrity of the method that you choose to go about
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: what you're going, if it comes at the expense of
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: your livelihood and career, you cannot put that in. So
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: his belief in marijuana is so strong that the method
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: he didn't chose to to to act out his integrity
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: is to quit. Okay, brother, now what And he he's
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: for marijuana ste but you also have to know that
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: he's against pills that he says the league pushes on them.
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: He is for your wife and kids, your family, you
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: got you somebody you're taking care of. But you can
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: be against all of that, all of that, But you
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: want to smoke weed so bad that you're willing to
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: do it. He didn't. He didn't learn from Ricky Williams. Huh,
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: didn't learn nothing. He didn't see Ricky Williams go down
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: this path. He was just a big brother. But he
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: didn't win. He didn't win. Who did Ricky william Ricky
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: Williams Tamar Okay, I don't know nothing about that. You
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: talk about his career, his football career. Yeah, this brother,
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: I'm telling you, man, and to be smoking weed on
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: you cannot put the integrity of your method. It's what
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: I was trying to say, because I argue with somebody
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: for an almost an hour of the method they chose
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: to go about something. If that is your form of integrity,
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: you cannot put that in front of your livelihood. But
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: what are you talking about with him in Stephen? I
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: don't know if it's about integrity. He is in pain

- 1:16:14Speaker 1: and so he he he uses marijuana for pain manage.

- 1:16:33Speaker 1: to be on appeals, you rather want to smoke where

- 1:24:19Speaker 1: I'm sorry, Jay, because yeah you can. I'm de urban
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: sugar free, sir. Yeah they do. They have sugar free syrup. Yeah,
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: so it ain't grid sugar free syrup. For what I
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: want to say, up because it's sweet. It offers an
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: alternative to the pancakes that sugar free? Sup got that
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: after taste. I love pancakes. I love when I was
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: eating pancakes. If you don't if you eat a waffle,
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: but because it's not Waffle Day, is that the same thing?
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: Like now it's National pancakes, but use the same batter. No,
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: I don't know. Don't ask me. I don't know. Yeah, sure,
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: we know, you don't know. But I love pancakes. I'm
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: not in the waffles, but yet the same mix. But
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: it's something a little extra step, you know. The way
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: I see him, I take each stack and put jelly.
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: That's probably why I got that beat. He's right now,
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: put jelly in on each layer of the pancake. Yeah, yes, wait,
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: what you say exactly why he typed two? Right? Because
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: he took up jelly red wow, and then put syrup
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: on that, as I found out, not that jelly and
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: syrup with a side of pancakes. That's crazy, right, there's
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: the worst. What did he do? S I like blue Beard?
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: Just better gas each pegcake. I'm telling you, man, I've
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: seen him put so much butter. He gets full butters.
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: Puts the butter between each layer, puts the eggs between
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: the last two, puts the pancake back on top of
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: the edge, then drizzles it in syrup. I'm talking about man,
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: it's women in syrup. Wow wows dit? Yeah you eat that?
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: Somebody should just come out the back and cut off
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: a foot because that ain't even right on your way.
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: Looking at that foot right now, that's a crazy right here.
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: I've seen him eat some stuff. I don't like syrup.
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: He puts syrup. Are you one of those colors you
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: don't like your food to touch? That's me. No, I'm
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: not one of those. But I don't like sweet eggs.
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: I don't like syrup on my eggs, especially on Greens Day.
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: That greens heales can't be running there where. That's oh yeah.
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: My friend used to eat pancakes, syrup, eggs, sausage, uh, potatoes, catchup,
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: mix it all together and eat that. I couldn't eat
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: with her. I got a partner. I can't say his
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: name because y'all knowing chops up all his food and
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: then stirs it together. Yeah, what a lot of people.
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: Every single meal, I can't. I can't. That's something I
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: can't do. His plate be looking like damn trash, and
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: it's so embarrassing because because when the way to come
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: back and go excuse me, sir, because it looked like
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: he didn't drop the food on the float and put
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: it back on the It messes the way you because
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: you know when the way to come back to the
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: table and go, uh, is everything okay? He come back
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: to the table every time and go is everything serious?
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: Everything okay, and just focuses on him and he'd be
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: just eating. Get mad. Yeah, I like my food like
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: this like a dog peel. But we eat with our
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: eyes too, So you want your plate to look nice. Yeah.
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: When you see somebody overdo it, you go what is
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: wrong with you? Yeah? All right, we'll be back with
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.

- 1:33:56Speaker 1: to have all your meetings on the air, My goodness
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: always always all right. Before we get out of here,
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: I know you're gonna leave us with some parting closing remarks.
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: You know. I'm broadcasting from Dubai, and I was thinking
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: about my life and how fortunate that it is, having
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: gone through everything that I've gone through, and to be
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: at this place in my life. It's just an amazing blessing.
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: Nothing I have known that. It ain't been lucky, it
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: ain't been nothing. It's just been a blessing. It's but
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: by the grace of God, because he's just shown me
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: so much favor, allowed me to survive so many hardships
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: and setbacks. But he's done the same thing for you.
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: I remind you of something that came to me a
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: couple of weeks ago. When I think of all the
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: days that it looked like I'm not gonna make it through,
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: when it looks like I just came and do another
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: moment of what I'm going through. I think about my
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: track record of surviving bad days, and so far it's
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: one hundred percent. All of your roughest days, you survived
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: them all. Your track record for surviving rough days, everybody
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: is one. That's God's grace. With that in mind, and
- 1:35:18Speaker 1: I think about my life, I want to share this
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: with you. I just came up with it today. I'm
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: calling these to three ease. Number one. I want you
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: all to start exploring. I want you to start exploring.
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: Start going on the internet. Just explore. Just see what's
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: out there. Google destinations and places. Stuff you hear about,
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: stuff you've heard about. Google stuff that you hear somebody
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: talking about that you know nothing about. Just explore. Just
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: go online, pull up pictures of hotels. You hear people
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: talking about destinations. You hear them talking about beaches, reefs,
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: stunning sunsets, the all in America, the Grand Canyon, the
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: Niagara Falls, go out the country. Just google it. Just
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: just explore. The next thing I want you to do.
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: I want you to expose. Your next eat is to
- 1:36:23Speaker 1: expose yourself to more things. Try something different at the restaurant.
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: Don't get the same thing every time you go. Try
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: different restaurants, go to a different place. Don't do the
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: same thing every year we go to the exact same spot.
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: Expose yourself to something different. Just just try it. You boy,
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: say you got the same handstyle, change it. Just expose
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: yourself to something else. Ladies gonna do it anyway. But
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: just I'm talking about, man, go buy yourself something different
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: to where. I ain't saying you gotta spare more, something
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: more expensive, But go try something else. Or you know,
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: I just love black, buy some white. Just try. I
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: always send my wife roses, send us something else. Think, man,
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: think of exposing yourself to something different. That will lead
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: to your third e experience. If you explore more, if
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: you expose yourself to more, you're gonna have a different experience. Man.
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: And life is full of riches. But in order to
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: get to the real riches of life, y'all, you gotta explore,
- 1:37:44Speaker 1: and you gotta be willing to expose yourself to get
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: a better experience. You know, if you drive the exact
- 1:37:52Speaker 1: same way to work, in the exact same way from work,
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: just one time, try different route. We'll see something else.
- 1:38:01Speaker 1: Go out to a neighborhood that you can't afford right now,
- 1:38:04Speaker 1: drive through, take pictures of houses, dream a little bit,
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: expose yourself to it, Explore it, put it in your conscience,
- 1:38:16Speaker 1: ask God to give it to you. If you explore
- 1:38:20Speaker 1: more things and to try to expose yourself, your change,
- 1:38:23Speaker 1: your experience and life for you could be a whole
