- 0:26Speaker 1: for STU. Please, I don't join joining me. You gotta
- 1:01Speaker 1: turn hurning the You gotta turn to turn them out.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Got to turn out to turn the water the water.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your back that it uh huh, I
- 2:06Speaker 1: sure will. A good morning everybody. You are listening to
- 2:09Speaker 1: the voice, Come on dig me now, one and only
- 2:12Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man, oh man, oh man?
- 2:17Speaker 1: How good is God to me? And part of the
- 2:20Speaker 1: mission and the reason that I have a radio show
- 2:23Speaker 1: is to become a share of more and more of
- 2:27Speaker 1: a shareff You know. I used to hear my mother
- 2:30Speaker 1: say it to me all the time. But God blesses
- 2:32Speaker 1: you to become a blessing. And I think the more
- 2:35Speaker 1: you understand that about yourself, I think the more blessings
- 2:38Speaker 1: will flow your way. I think that once you understand
- 2:41Speaker 1: the principle, that you know it. But it's kind of
- 2:46Speaker 1: tied together with some other scriptures, and I'm not too
- 2:49Speaker 1: knowledgeable about them, of course as usual, But I do
- 2:53Speaker 1: know what I've heard you know, and you know if
- 2:56Speaker 1: you look at something simple as do unto others as
- 2:58Speaker 1: you would have them do unto you, you wouldn't you
- 3:02Speaker 1: want somebody to help you if you needed help. I
- 3:05Speaker 1: just know how to get it down there to where
- 3:08Speaker 1: I've been able to understand it. If if there's a
- 3:11Speaker 1: scripture similar that it says do unto others as you
- 3:15Speaker 1: would have them do unto you, or if that's you
- 3:20Speaker 1: know in a prayer, would not you want somebody to
- 3:24Speaker 1: help you if you needed help? You've heard you reap
- 3:30Speaker 1: what you sow. Do you understand that if you so discord,
- 3:36Speaker 1: that discord is gonna come your way. That if you hate,
- 3:41Speaker 1: hate gonna come your way. If you blog nothing but
- 3:44Speaker 1: negative comments about people, your life will be filled with negativity.
- 3:49Speaker 1: If all you do is talk about people, then guess
- 3:52Speaker 1: what somebody got to turn that gun around and talk
- 3:54Speaker 1: about you. See, it just stands to reasons. So what
- 4:00Speaker 1: I've learned in my life and through all the trials
- 4:03Speaker 1: and tribulations that I've had, is to take those lessons
- 4:08Speaker 1: and share them with people in case you ain't heard
- 4:11Speaker 1: it from somebody else. See sometimes, And the reason it
- 4:15Speaker 1: seems like I'm redundant at times is what I am
- 4:19Speaker 1: is because I'm always trying to find a different way
- 4:22Speaker 1: to say the same thing. Because it's a funny thing. Man,
- 4:26Speaker 1: You got to hear it a certain way for it
- 4:28Speaker 1: to click with you. How many times have I heard
- 4:33Speaker 1: a saying and then I heard it a different way
- 4:38Speaker 1: that it clicked with me? You know, I've heard of
- 4:43Speaker 1: this saying right here, remember this now, everybody's not happy
- 4:47Speaker 1: for you. We've all heard that, right, everybody's not happy
- 4:50Speaker 1: for you. Well, that's very simple that I don't need
- 4:54Speaker 1: no explanation. That simply means of all the people you
- 4:58Speaker 1: know or do not know, when something happens to you
- 5:02Speaker 1: and you celebrating it, everybody's not going to join in
- 5:05Speaker 1: on the celebration. That's all that is. But then you
- 5:10Speaker 1: take it one step further. My father used to say
- 5:12Speaker 1: something to me all the time. He says, son, everybody
- 5:14Speaker 1: come with you, can't go with you. I didn't get
- 5:17Speaker 1: that when I was fifteen. Everybody come with you, can't
- 5:19Speaker 1: go with you. He said, you're gonna lose some of
- 5:21Speaker 1: these friends you got along the way. But I don't
- 5:24Speaker 1: care where you get in life. No, this right here,
- 5:28Speaker 1: everybody can't go with you. If you are constantly trying
- 5:32Speaker 1: to improve yourself, you constantly have to take assessment of
- 5:35Speaker 1: the people around you. Because if you are going to
- 5:38Speaker 1: continue to go and continue to grow, then guess what
- 5:42Speaker 1: you got to have people that's on the goal and
- 5:45Speaker 1: willing to grow, or else guess what you're gonna learn
- 5:50Speaker 1: the valuable lesson. You know, the late boxing promoter Butch Lewis.
- 5:55Speaker 1: I was talking with Butch Lewis one time, and man
- 5:58Speaker 1: with a good brother man, he say, every successful man,
- 6:02Speaker 1: it's doing what I call he got rope work to do.
- 6:06Speaker 1: He got rope work to do. He got to put
- 6:09Speaker 1: in work on rope. And I'm sitting there listening to
- 6:12Speaker 1: Butch Lewis and all the money he had made and
- 6:15Speaker 1: all the people's lives he had changed, and all of
- 6:17Speaker 1: the moves he was making, and his incredible skills as
- 6:20Speaker 1: a negotiator on behalf of some very very wealthy people.
- 6:24Speaker 1: He was just an amazing man with no education. But
- 6:27Speaker 1: he read everything. He butch Lewis read all that, all
- 6:30Speaker 1: the papers, all the periodicals. That brother knew everything. He said,
- 6:35Speaker 1: you got to put in rope. And I was sitting
- 6:37Speaker 1: there listening. He said, here is the analogy, little brother.
- 6:41Speaker 1: He say, you are on rope. There's a thick rope.
- 6:45Speaker 1: You have on no shirt, you have on some tattered clothes.
- 6:49Speaker 1: You have on no shoes. Your shorts is cut off
- 6:52Speaker 1: just below the knee, and they tattered, and you got
- 6:55Speaker 1: dirt on you and you're sweating. There's this huge, huge
- 6:59Speaker 1: raw rope over your shoulder. There's burn marks on all
- 7:03Speaker 1: of your shoulder. Connected to that rope is a wagon.
- 7:07Speaker 1: That wagon has all your weight on it, all your responsibilities,
- 7:12Speaker 1: all the people you're responsible for, all your children, your wife,
- 7:17Speaker 1: your family members, your employees, your coworkers, your friends. They
- 7:22Speaker 1: all on that wagon. Man, they're just sitting there. He's saying,
- 7:26Speaker 1: what you gotta do is you gotta pull that wagon
- 7:29Speaker 1: up the heel. Now. The only thing with it is,
- 7:32Speaker 1: can't nobody help you pull your wagon. You pull your
- 7:35Speaker 1: wagon alone. He saying, Now, what you can do along
- 7:39Speaker 1: the way of pulling your wagon is you can find
- 7:41Speaker 1: yourself a good wife, a good woman. He's saying that
- 7:45Speaker 1: what that woman does is she get down off the wagon.
- 7:48Speaker 1: She fan you while you pull it. She put water
- 7:51Speaker 1: on you while you pull it. She put stuff in
- 7:53Speaker 1: your mouth while you pull it. She kicked rocks out
- 7:56Speaker 1: the way while you pull it. But she but she
- 7:58Speaker 1: pull it for you. But she is equally as important
- 8:01Speaker 1: as you are on the pull of the rope. He said,
- 8:04Speaker 1: you hear me clearly now, young soldier. He said, nah,
- 8:07Speaker 1: got this hell, He says, people on your wagon that
- 8:10Speaker 1: you're responsible for. But you want the people on your
- 8:13Speaker 1: wagon to help you get your wagon to the top.
- 8:17Speaker 1: So what you hope is that they got their foot
- 8:19Speaker 1: hanging over the side pushing, They got one leg over
- 8:23Speaker 1: the back, or maybe both legs over the back pushing.
- 8:26Speaker 1: They got they might have their butt on the wagon,
- 8:28Speaker 1: but they push you with both legs. They're back facing
- 8:31Speaker 1: your back, maybe some of them facing you when one
- 8:33Speaker 1: of them got left leg hanging over trying to push.
- 8:36Speaker 1: And you hope that all the people on the wagon
- 8:39Speaker 1: you pull it is back there at least trying to
- 8:41Speaker 1: help the wagon get to the top of the hill.
- 8:44Speaker 1: Here goes your problem. Though everybody ain't pushing, Everybody ain't
- 8:48Speaker 1: puck it ain't beaverybody ain't pulling. Everybody ain't kicking rocks
- 8:52Speaker 1: out the way. You got some people on your wagon
- 8:54Speaker 1: that's just laying on the wagon, drinking lemonade, looking at you,
- 8:59Speaker 1: talking about how long it's taking you to get your
- 9:02Speaker 1: wagon up to the top, looking at you, telling my
- 9:04Speaker 1: whitest wagon, so slow. Then when you start picking up
- 9:08Speaker 1: picking up speed, they want you to pull harder, you
- 9:11Speaker 1: to pull faster, you to pull mole. Then they want
- 9:14Speaker 1: you to throw what you then earned on the way
- 9:16Speaker 1: up the hill backed on the wagon so they can
- 9:18Speaker 1: have MO. But guess what, they ain't helping you get more.
- 9:21Speaker 1: But they got a sense of entitlement that since you
- 9:24Speaker 1: got mold, they should have MO. Everybody come with you
- 9:28Speaker 1: can't go with you. Sometimes you gotta kick the people
- 9:31Speaker 1: off the wagon that ain't pushing and pull it and say,
- 9:34Speaker 1: hey man, I'm sorry. I thought I could do this
- 9:36Speaker 1: with you, and I thought you was going with me.
- 9:39Speaker 1: But it's clear to me you ain't nothing but dead weight,
- 9:41Speaker 1: and it ain't my responsibility to carry dead weight anymore.
- 9:45Speaker 1: I have carried you as long as I have to
- 9:47Speaker 1: carry you. You are no longer my responsibility. I'm responsible
- 9:51Speaker 1: for my family, my wife, my children. I'm not responsible
- 9:55Speaker 1: for you. You got to get off my wagon because
- 9:57Speaker 1: I'm a man on rope. I'm on a mission, baby,
- 9:59Speaker 1: I'm bullet. You're listening, ladies and gentlemen, man, have your
- 10:07Speaker 1: attention please. Uh it's Monday morning, it's the beginning of
- 10:10Speaker 1: a new week. But it's the same damn thing up
- 10:13Speaker 1: in the hill. We'veing to turn up this volume, create
- 10:16Speaker 1: this igness and be botty bout it. Dog gone it,
- 10:22Speaker 1: Shirley Strong. We let Steve, we let. Oh, that's we
- 10:32Speaker 1: let Steve. We love man. That was fun. That was fun.
- 10:43Speaker 1: It's young people listening to this show going, uh, we live,
- 10:49Speaker 1: and they probably ain't even saying that no more. They
- 10:52Speaker 1: say still saying we live. I'm scared to use modern
- 10:58Speaker 1: day slang. I'm still going. I'm still doing you know
- 11:01Speaker 1: what's happening for the playoff? You know that way? I
- 11:05Speaker 1: know I know what's out of style and all my
- 11:08Speaker 1: talk is out of style. We let call it for real.
- 11:14Speaker 1: What's happening? We bought that life? What's going on? Cool? Junior?
- 11:19Speaker 1: You got one. I'm just gonna say, morning on my Tommy.
- 11:24Speaker 1: You got one lit light lit I'm living my bathlight. Yeah, now, dude,
- 11:31Speaker 1: this one still work. Turn up? Yeah, that was still works.
- 11:37Speaker 1: Come on, Steve. What it is? Good? Good? Everybody cool? Man?
- 11:48Speaker 1: Let my man slapping five? You did that that you
- 11:56Speaker 1: may as well throw it right on in their stick.
- 11:59Speaker 1: I still say, right on, right on. I still say, hey, man.
- 12:03Speaker 1: When I talk to my older brother, it's it's it's
- 12:06Speaker 1: like talking to Marvin gay Man. I'm talking to them, Hey,
- 12:12Speaker 1: what's something drunk? What's handing with? Chill? Something? Man? Give
- 12:16Speaker 1: me some of that skin, man, some skin that's five
- 12:20Speaker 1: on the black hand, keeping like that. It's all right, man,
- 12:24Speaker 1: right on? What's been going on with you? Play? You
- 12:27Speaker 1: still doing it? Ain't you? You know, people ain't easy.
- 12:30Speaker 1: But somebody kind of doing it might be me? He dog, man,
- 12:36Speaker 1: what's up? What's up? Timmy? One of my little girls,
- 12:39Speaker 1: one of the friends of the house, said, mister, Timmy,
- 12:41Speaker 1: you lit, I said, baby, I said, baby, I don't.
- 12:43Speaker 1: I don't. I don't smoke with I don't know what
- 12:45Speaker 1: you're talking about. Say what that? Could it be a
- 12:52Speaker 1: d either way? I wasn't there. I I don't know
- 12:56Speaker 1: what litt Yeah, especially in front of your keys. No,
- 13:01Speaker 1: but you gotta stay fresh and hip, Tommy. We got
- 13:04Speaker 1: younger kids too, you know. Hey, hey, hey, let me
- 13:07Speaker 1: tell you what I did one day in Atlanta. I
- 13:09Speaker 1: came out my offer with my shirt open, and my
- 13:12Speaker 1: kids friends was in the house. I went to say, Dad,
- 13:15Speaker 1: your shirt is open. I said, I live here. Tell
- 13:19Speaker 1: all your little flat stomach ass from turn around and
- 13:22Speaker 1: quickly looking over here. But it's so funny, Steve, You're
- 13:25Speaker 1: right because we're at an age now where everything we
- 13:28Speaker 1: do embarrasses our kids. There's nothing that we can do
- 13:31Speaker 1: that where our kids think we're cool. Nothing. All right, listen,
- 13:35Speaker 1: coming up in thirty two, after the hour, we'll have
- 13:38Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Shop. Right after this. Wait,
- 13:40Speaker 1: let we let turn up. You're listening show. This is
- 13:48Speaker 1: when you realize you're not good at cheating, and it's
- 13:52Speaker 1: when you get caught. Soon as you get caught, us
- 13:57Speaker 1: always get well. I wasn't good at at it this time.
- 14:01Speaker 1: I've never been good at but just just one time. Yeah,
- 14:05Speaker 1: I'm at my place. You know, got my little place
- 14:08Speaker 1: is a you know, I've got faked for all on
- 14:10Speaker 1: the couch and everything, got my little got my little
- 14:13Speaker 1: pictures on the wall. I seat my albums, you know
- 14:16Speaker 1: the album got the albums on the wall. Man, I'm
- 14:18Speaker 1: sitting at chit chatting. You know, we listen to some
- 14:21Speaker 1: loofa loofa some loofa. All of a sudden a brick
- 14:27Speaker 1: comes through the window. Right, what right? Like this is
- 14:34Speaker 1: normal with with his It didn't have a note on it,
- 14:38Speaker 1: so I had no it didn't have Somebody threw a
- 14:47Speaker 1: brick through your windows. And it was a nice side brick, right,
- 14:52Speaker 1: not a rock. I didn't say it rock. This was
- 14:54Speaker 1: a brick. Well, I'm here to jail. Nothing changes the
- 14:59Speaker 1: mood and ruin like a brick coming through your wing
- 15:06Speaker 1: and your albums and all that. Forget all that, right,
- 15:09Speaker 1: I can, I can't hear outside. I still didn't know
- 15:13Speaker 1: who bring your own lass out in You ain't gonna
- 15:18Speaker 1: out that though you still hit the rude number one,
- 15:23Speaker 1: never go outside, You never go outside, and then kill no,
- 15:30Speaker 1: you don't go outside. But it changed the mood of inside.
- 15:33Speaker 1: So I couldn't go outside, and I had nothing inside
- 15:36Speaker 1: because what was inside now I wasn't naked, I wasn't naked,
- 15:40Speaker 1: but what was inside left? So she left. That changed
- 15:44Speaker 1: the mood right there. When you hit, when you hit,
- 15:47Speaker 1: when you see a brick and then bring your lass outside.
- 15:51Speaker 1: But when you saw the brick. You had no idea,
- 15:54Speaker 1: what kind of had an idea? Who threw the brick?
- 15:57Speaker 1: But the mood was changed. So that was that's my confession. Junior. Yeah, Junior,
- 16:04Speaker 1: I might well gonna tell y'all this happens. Happened back
- 16:08Speaker 1: in college, and I lied to the fellas. Yeah, you
- 16:12Speaker 1: know how you your boy got a girl, then she
- 16:14Speaker 1: got the friend, uh huh, And then you know they
- 16:16Speaker 1: want you to talk to the friend. Well, she she
- 16:19Speaker 1: wasn't attractive at all. Now, I told him, but I
- 16:22Speaker 1: didn't do nothing with the girl. And I did, and
- 16:24Speaker 1: I actually did I did. I did it. I took
- 16:27Speaker 1: one for the league, not just for the league, telling
- 16:34Speaker 1: you it was the most craziest thing Jameson, because she
- 16:37Speaker 1: had this thing was she just kept looking at me,
- 16:39Speaker 1: like say something, give me some encouragement. How am I doing?
- 16:44Speaker 1: She just keep looking at me, no eyes wide open
- 16:47Speaker 1: and this breathing in this room like five people like, man,
- 16:52Speaker 1: did you do that? Ain't I don't want nobody to know.
- 16:55Speaker 1: But I did it. I did you. Oh. I know
- 16:59Speaker 1: she was thinking she had but dog, it was like
- 17:01Speaker 1: she kept breathing it. I said, say, something was looking
- 17:06Speaker 1: at me the whole time mandy z man, I did it, dog,
- 17:19Speaker 1: I did mine. Ain't that bad? I was young man
- 17:28Speaker 1: talked about twenty two and so I started dating this
- 17:33Speaker 1: girl that worked at four. Um, I didn't think, so
- 17:41Speaker 1: you didn't care. I probably about twenty one. So I
- 17:47Speaker 1: finally took a long time got her to go out
- 17:50Speaker 1: to dinner with me. I went to this restaurant up
- 17:52Speaker 1: on Northfield by the horse track called brown Derby. So
- 17:58Speaker 1: we walked in to Brown Irvy. I got a little
- 18:01Speaker 1: pier carden suit on everything. We sit down at the table.
- 18:06Speaker 1: I'm sitting there, man, big thick not come, a little
- 18:09Speaker 1: frow and everything. You know how you feel somebody standing yeah,
- 18:16Speaker 1: and uh it just kind of dimly lit in there.
- 18:20Speaker 1: So when my eyes adjusted, I look and the other
- 18:25Speaker 1: girl I'm dating, it's in now with her mama dinner
- 18:35Speaker 1: and she just standing at me, looking at you. I'm
- 18:39Speaker 1: talking about man up side my head her mama back
- 18:44Speaker 1: to me. Now I've been over that house. Man, Was
- 18:51Speaker 1: this your girl? Thirty time? That was your girl? I
- 18:55Speaker 1: don't know you, Yeah, that was your girlfriend. She staring
- 19:01Speaker 1: at me. So I picked her out through the look
- 19:04Speaker 1: across through these little vase with the flowers in it.
- 19:09Speaker 1: You just thought I was in the jungle. So I
- 19:11Speaker 1: looked around it and made our contact. I jerked my
- 19:14Speaker 1: head so I would look out a no more. I
- 19:17Speaker 1: said that. Man, I didn't know what to do. Man,
- 19:19Speaker 1: I'm young. I'm trying to work this out. So I said, man,
- 19:25Speaker 1: I gotta do something. So I got up. She looked
- 19:29Speaker 1: dead at me. As soon as I got up and
- 19:32Speaker 1: walked towards the bathroom. Here she comes. So when I
- 19:37Speaker 1: got ready to make the left to turn into the bathroom,
- 19:41Speaker 1: I just kind of peeked back and see if she
- 19:43Speaker 1: was at with a mama. She was halfway across the restaurant,
- 19:48Speaker 1: so I ain't make the left. Went straight on. Now
- 19:59Speaker 1: my car, I parked a long way from the rest
- 20:04Speaker 1: restaurant was crowded, so I'm on the other end. So
- 20:08Speaker 1: I walked out the restaurant and just walked to the
- 20:11Speaker 1: corner and cross the street all out here. Stay, I
- 20:21Speaker 1: can't hear. You didn't hear? You didn't hear I walked off.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Now guess what I did? Okay, what did you think?
- 20:29Speaker 1: I went back to get the car home? All right,
- 20:37Speaker 1: more of this crazy ignorant show. Steve Harvey Morning show
- 20:41Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to Steven Show. Right now.
- 20:45Speaker 1: It is time for the nephew to run that prank
- 20:48Speaker 1: back what you got for us, nap. The sex is
- 20:50Speaker 1: too loud, Sex is too loud. Hello, it's too loud.
- 21:04Speaker 1: Let's hello. Hello, I'm trying to reach Uh uh you
- 21:14Speaker 1: have the ground number. This is his wife though, Can
- 21:17Speaker 1: I help you? Uh? Yes, ma'am. I'm calling you from
- 21:21Speaker 1: the front desk here at the at the Hilton Hotel
- 21:24Speaker 1: and I'm called the room a few times and you guys,
- 21:27Speaker 1: you guys haven't answered. So we actually went a little
- 21:31Speaker 1: first and got the number that's connected with the credit card.
- 21:34Speaker 1: And uh, you know, I wouldn't be calling your number
- 21:37Speaker 1: like this, But the people are complaining about you guys
- 21:40Speaker 1: on the floor. Now, you guys are staying on and
- 21:43Speaker 1: you're saying that the sexiest too the sexiest too loud
- 21:46Speaker 1: coming from you all. Wait, wait a minute, would you
- 21:49Speaker 1: say people are on you as floor saying that the
- 21:53Speaker 1: sex is too loud coming from you and your husband's room. Way,
- 21:56Speaker 1: what the is going on here? I am at home
- 22:00Speaker 1: and that mother is out of town, So what are
- 22:03Speaker 1: you saying to me? Uh? Did I get to the
- 22:08Speaker 1: whole offorce shure, that's just that's his This is his
- 22:15Speaker 1: wife on the phone right now. But she said she's
- 22:18Speaker 1: at home. That's what she's telling me. She's telling me

- 27:58Speaker 1: to you though, But you're twenty. Many pranks have been
- 28:01Speaker 1: fired criminals. Yeah, you're doing it into two too. Man,
- 28:05Speaker 1: you're listening to show now. This is according to Business Journal,
- 28:15Speaker 1: this is a new survey that finds that a lot
- 28:17Speaker 1: of employees would rather have more vacation rather than a
- 28:20Speaker 1: pay raise. Really, yeah, if given the choice, forty one
- 28:24Speaker 1: percent of people would actually rather have more paid vacation
- 28:28Speaker 1: time than a pay raise. While we're always take that, yeah,
- 28:32Speaker 1: we're always hearing about us employees not using up all
- 28:35Speaker 1: they're paid vacation each year, it seems like a lot
- 28:37Speaker 1: of folks really do want more time off. In fact,
- 28:40Speaker 1: a new survey finds that if given the choice, for
- 28:43Speaker 1: one cent of the people would actually rather have more
- 28:45Speaker 1: paid vacation than a paid raise. I can't say that enough.
- 28:49Speaker 1: Do you think you'd rather have more vacation time or
- 28:52Speaker 1: a pay raise? Yeah. I'm kind of on the fence
- 28:59Speaker 1: with this one because I don't take a lot of vacation,
- 29:01Speaker 1: which is crazy. If you give me sick days, I'm
- 29:03Speaker 1: taking them, every last one, every last one. I don't
- 29:07Speaker 1: take a lot of vacation. I really don't. Never tell
- 29:09Speaker 1: me I don't have them. It ain't an option from me.
- 29:12Speaker 1: You gotta tell me about a six days in vacation. Yeah,
- 29:15Speaker 1: tell them. You don't say no, no, I'm all yeah,
- 29:17Speaker 1: I guarantee you I'm taking my sick days. I guess
- 29:19Speaker 1: I would be I get a pay raise, I guess
- 29:21Speaker 1: i'd be that that person, yeah, instead of vacation days,
- 29:25Speaker 1: because I barely rarely take the ones that I have.
- 29:28Speaker 1: I'm supposed to be a vacation right now. I love
- 29:31Speaker 1: you a lot, but something is really really wrong with you.
- 29:36Speaker 1: It is it is what am I work a holiday? Well?
- 29:39Speaker 1: I think your business want to allow Yeah, I think
- 29:42Speaker 1: I think you're I think your buie bush borderlines and
- 29:47Speaker 1: tips off into stupid you go and if your business
- 29:58Speaker 1: is overrunning you, Yeah, and it tips over into stupidity,
- 30:04Speaker 1: because why y'all ass won't take your vacation. Supposed to
- 30:07Speaker 1: be on vacation, Now take it. Put in for it,
- 30:11Speaker 1: and I put in for it, and I'm here. You
- 30:14Speaker 1: can have your days. Let me tell you something. Okay,
- 30:20Speaker 1: I told me, Steve, you can take off from now
- 30:25Speaker 1: on all of your jobs and we'll just send you
- 30:29Speaker 1: the check. Oh yeah, who wouldn't sign up for that?
- 30:31Speaker 1: My answer is gone, yeah, oh I'm doing that. It's gone,
- 30:35Speaker 1: I'm gone, gone, go. Okay. Let me ask you this question.
- 30:38Speaker 1: Whatever your salary is, if somebody gave you three years
- 30:43Speaker 1: of your salary and gave it to you at one time, yeah,
- 30:47Speaker 1: would you quit your job? No? Hell now no, No,
- 30:51Speaker 1: I got to be in here and running the board.
- 30:53Speaker 1: Move on. I like come on, I like having a purpose. Yeah, yeah,
- 30:59Speaker 1: I think that's what I like. Having a person. Yeah, definitely,
- 31:02Speaker 1: I have something to do. Yeah, I like I like it. So,
- 31:04Speaker 1: so let me ask you your salary. Yeah, your salary
- 31:08Speaker 1: for three years? Would you quit all of your yeah?
- 31:13Speaker 1: Straight out of here? Yeah, well it's a little different
- 31:17Speaker 1: out of here, and would not three home and tell Marjorie,
- 31:23Speaker 1: and she'd be all right with that decision. Just what

- 33:05Speaker 1: to stand up for all those who have been invisible
- 33:09Speaker 1: to their government for eight long years. Those are the
- 33:14Speaker 1: reasons I ran for president, and those are the reasons
- 33:18Speaker 1: I support Barack Obama for president. The work begins a

- 36:08Speaker 1: can't get along no more. Please tell me what is
- 36:11Speaker 1: the problem, because this is good. It's going on too long.
- 36:14Speaker 1: Let me tell you what happens you. I come in
- 36:17Speaker 1: the house, I walk in the room. Here in the room,
- 36:20Speaker 1: all getting harder than I can hit the TV. Now
- 36:24Speaker 1: I can't hear the TV because you and then we're
- 36:26Speaker 1: gonna lead. Then we ain't got to be together. What
- 36:31Speaker 1: you're calling me for? Wow, I'm just going to say everything.
- 36:35Speaker 1: All right, No, we're cool, man, you know we just love. No,
- 36:38Speaker 1: this ain't love. Love, don't holler back and this ain't love, right, Okay,
- 36:44Speaker 1: I'm just saying I don't want to be your friend
- 36:46Speaker 1: no more. Just find somebody else. That's all you got.
- 36:50Speaker 1: There's plenty of people out here. Just find somebody else.

- 37:39Speaker 1: matter of fact, we ain't got to be friends no more.
- 37:42Speaker 1: Now she wondering why I'm calling her. I just want
- 37:44Speaker 1: some peace in the house. Truths told your stuff happening.
- 37:51Speaker 1: People be doing this all the time and don't about
- 37:54Speaker 1: to pay attention to it. All right, we'll have more
- 37:57Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're
- 38:00Speaker 1: listening now. There is science that supports that kids with
- 38:07Speaker 1: older parents, older parents, now, especially fathers, especially the dads,
- 38:14Speaker 1: might be a little more socially awkward than kids with
- 38:17Speaker 1: younger fathers. All right, I can see that. So here's
- 38:21Speaker 1: the question. Uh, did you guys have parents that were
- 38:24Speaker 1: much older than your friend's parents? Oh? Yeah, And if
- 38:28Speaker 1: and if you did, and if you did, Steve says
- 38:31Speaker 1: you did. So how did that affect you? Steve? Growing
- 38:33Speaker 1: up a bousing a lot of fights about it? Really,
- 38:37Speaker 1: what do you mean you got teased about it? Oh? Yeah,
- 38:39Speaker 1: you know I went to publish school, uh with Poe kids. Yeah?
- 38:44Speaker 1: Who grandmama? That? Hey? Man, I've told you. I've told
- 38:52Speaker 1: you twice. Asked you one more town with grandmama in
- 38:58Speaker 1: my damn MoMA thought nineteen I'm explained in nineteen sixty seven,
- 39:03Speaker 1: I didn't totally dude. In nineteen sixty eight, another dude
- 39:07Speaker 1: asked me who grandmama up? Is here to school? That
- 39:12Speaker 1: was the day after mar Luther king funeral on TV.
- 39:15Speaker 1: I jumped dead on his as forget all that piece
- 39:20Speaker 1: of love stuff, you know mar Luke King did? I
- 39:23Speaker 1: don't want to hear nothing about this? Yeah? I had
- 39:27Speaker 1: old parents. Wow. No, my mom and never had me
- 39:30Speaker 1: when they were forty two. So oh okay, So do
- 39:33Speaker 1: you think age matters when it comes to parenting? Then?
- 39:36Speaker 1: He are you? Yeah? Talking about what you're going to
- 39:40Speaker 1: talk about. You should have them when you're younger, you think, Yeah,
- 39:43Speaker 1: that's my recommend if you can have them. Yeah, yeah,
- 39:45Speaker 1: well yeah, you don't have nothing to talk about. Well,
- 39:48Speaker 1: I mean the things that you want to relate to
- 39:51Speaker 1: these older parents. They're much older. The millennials and younger
- 39:55Speaker 1: want to talk about tech stuff and h yeah. Well
- 39:59Speaker 1: I'll give you an example. Okay, I don't care for
- 40:03Speaker 1: I love the grandkids when they come over for running
- 40:07Speaker 1: the office. Papa hugged me, climb up on me, kiss
- 40:11Speaker 1: me on the cheek. I love that man, and then
- 40:13Speaker 1: get out of here. But wait a minute, Steve, Okay,
- 40:16Speaker 1: that would work if you were a much older grandparent,
- 40:19Speaker 1: but you're a normal age for a grant. Yes, what
- 40:23Speaker 1: are you talking about? Well, if the kids, I didn't
- 40:31Speaker 1: say I was that old. I'm just saying I don't
- 40:34Speaker 1: at this age. I don't care for my grandkids a vision.
- 40:37Speaker 1: I'm with you the hell I look like with a
- 40:39Speaker 1: baby on my own and can't sitting the ass home.
- 40:42Speaker 1: You can only bring one at a time in my
- 40:44Speaker 1: damn house. One at a time. You can't. How many
- 40:47Speaker 1: grandkids do you have? I got eleven, and then you
- 40:54Speaker 1: have you have a favorite and everyone else and you
- 40:57Speaker 1: make no favorite. Yes, and all the other grandkids know that, Oh,
- 41:01Speaker 1: they know, they know how this go. They don't need
- 41:03Speaker 1: me lying. If they know how to go and what
- 41:06Speaker 1: acknowledge your favorite grandkids in front of them? Run that
- 41:11Speaker 1: what this? This cuts out all the mess. If everybody
- 41:13Speaker 1: gets and well who the favorite? Now they know? Well, Jay,
- 41:20Speaker 1: do that caused a problem in the family, or well,
- 41:23Speaker 1: everybody know that Akira is the favorite and the rest
- 41:27Speaker 1: of them. Maybe you'll get it, maybe you won't, but
- 41:32Speaker 1: a kier can get it anything. She's my favorite? Is
- 41:36Speaker 1: she your first grandkid? Is that why your first grandchild?
- 41:39Speaker 1: It's a long story, but I picked her as a
- 41:42Speaker 1: favorite and we just roll with that and we don't
- 41:44Speaker 1: get in fights about it. You pick favorite? Is your favorite? Yes?
- 41:50Speaker 1: How did you do that? Look, my sister was the
- 41:53Speaker 1: favorite of my mom. My mom didn't speaking to me
- 41:55Speaker 1: to I was thirteen years old. I have a favorite
- 42:01Speaker 1: grandchild too. You're not gonna do it. I know it is,
- 42:09Speaker 1: but no, don't. No favorite grandchild is Ezra. Oh that's
- 42:16Speaker 1: the baby that can't tell because he don't know me. Yeah,
- 42:19Speaker 1: don't know you. He don't know me, He don't won't none.
- 42:22Speaker 1: He don't talk back all the time, try to hold
- 42:26Speaker 1: his big as head off. He looked at me like
- 42:29Speaker 1: he never seen me, he smiled, and he just slabbed them.
- 42:33Speaker 1: As soon as he see a bottle, his whole body
- 42:36Speaker 1: goes into a convulsion. It just straightened up and stiff
- 42:40Speaker 1: it out. When he see a bottle, he get he
- 42:44Speaker 1: just locked on all right. Coming up next, it is
- 42:49Speaker 1: the nephew, your favorite nephew, Steve, with a prank phone
- 42:51Speaker 1: call for today. Right after this you're listening. Coming up
- 42:59Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, right about four minutes after,
- 43:02Speaker 1: it's my strawberry letter for today. Right now it is
- 43:04Speaker 1: a nephew here with today's prank phone call. What's you got,
- 43:07Speaker 1: nev Freedom papers? Huh? Freedom papers? Hello, Hello, I'm trying
- 43:14Speaker 1: to reach a Domingo. Yeah, this is I'm speaking Hi Domingo.
- 43:18Speaker 1: My name is Scott. I'm calling from FPI. Wanted to
- 43:21Speaker 1: give you a call about actually using our services. If
- 43:26Speaker 1: I think you'll actually like it, the FBI would definitely
- 43:29Speaker 1: like to get you on board. What is it FPI
- 43:33Speaker 1: is Freedom Papers Incorporated, Freedom Papers Incorporated. What we do
- 43:37Speaker 1: is we actually make sure you get freedom papers and
- 43:41Speaker 1: you can purchase them from us. And what I can
- 43:44Speaker 1: do is I can get you freedom papers for you
- 43:47Speaker 1: and every individual at your home for roughly eight hundred
- 43:50Speaker 1: bucks or under. What are freedom freedom papers? Well? Actually,
- 43:54Speaker 1: what this is? You know? I mean are you are
- 43:56Speaker 1: you familiar with like, um say, if you are an
- 44:00Speaker 1: alien from another country and you need a you need
- 44:03Speaker 1: a green card to be here, are you familiar with that? Okay?
- 44:07Speaker 1: So what goes on with Freedom Papers Incorporated is when
- 44:11Speaker 1: you sign and get freedom papers from US. What it does, it's, uh,
- 44:14Speaker 1: people who are African Americans our papers let them know
- 44:18Speaker 1: that you're actually a free person in this country. Oh
- 44:21Speaker 1: oh oh, I've been free. I'm sorry. There ain't no
- 44:25Speaker 1: flavor going on when you talk about well I'm free.
- 44:28Speaker 1: Well you you you may be, but you have to
- 44:31Speaker 1: actually show PaperWorks for that. When when did they started? Sir?
- 44:36Speaker 1: This is all over the news. You have to have
- 44:38Speaker 1: freedom papers within the next six months. Every African American
- 44:43Speaker 1: person's gonna have to have freedom papers and have them
- 44:46Speaker 1: on on the you know. Uh, it's it's like keeping
- 44:49Speaker 1: a driver's license or a checkbook or something. You're gonna
- 44:52Speaker 1: have to have your freedom papers on you. That's some,
- 44:55Speaker 1: that's them, that's some. I'm free. I'm not about to
- 44:58Speaker 1: pay no money when I'm or any free okay, but
- 45:01Speaker 1: you're gonna, sir, you're gonna need paperwork to show your
- 45:04Speaker 1: freedom and you don't. Do you have any freedom papers
- 45:06Speaker 1: at this point right now? No, because I don't need
- 45:09Speaker 1: freedom I'm free, sir. I don't think you quite understand.
- 45:13Speaker 1: Do you understand that you could possibly if you're caught
- 45:15Speaker 1: without your freedom papers, you could be taken into captive
- 45:20Speaker 1: and actually have to work for so many years in
- 45:22Speaker 1: order and then later on you might get your freedom.
- 45:25Speaker 1: But right now, right here, if you buy freedom papers
- 45:28Speaker 1: from me, I can I can fix it where you
- 45:31Speaker 1: don't go through that you can actually get separated from
- 45:33Speaker 1: your family. Sir. I'm not gonna buy where they gonna
- 45:36Speaker 1: send me to where they gonna deport me to after
- 45:38Speaker 1: I ain't never been there. No, No, You're not going
- 45:40Speaker 1: to Africa. You could be actually here in the United
- 45:42Speaker 1: the States, working on a particular farm of with a
- 45:46Speaker 1: lot of people who don't have their papers. If you
- 45:50Speaker 1: haven't gotten this news, I do apologize, But within the
- 45:52Speaker 1: next six months you're going to need freedom papers you anyway, sir.
- 45:58Speaker 1: Like I said before, I'm Scott with FPI. I heard
- 46:01Speaker 1: no SPI thirds FPI's freedom papers in corporal. I don't
- 46:07Speaker 1: give what it is. I'm not about to pay no
- 46:10Speaker 1: money to be free, Sir. You have to have paperwork
- 46:14Speaker 1: on you to show that you are a free citizen
- 46:17Speaker 1: of the United States. Hold how you get my number anyway? Sir?
- 46:20Speaker 1: We have a list of numbers of people that we
- 46:22Speaker 1: don't think have their freedom papers, and your name actually
- 46:26Speaker 1: popped up here in our database. So you men go
- 46:29Speaker 1: nine pop up on the Okay, sir, I'm trying to
- 46:32Speaker 1: give my number, Sir. We have a database here of
- 46:35Speaker 1: people who we don't think their freedom papers. Your name
- 46:39Speaker 1: is actually here. After talking to you, it seems like
- 46:41Speaker 1: you don't have your freedom papers and we want to
- 46:43Speaker 1: make sure you get them. We're letting you know it's
- 46:45Speaker 1: two hundred dollars per person to get these actual paperies.
- 46:49Speaker 1: So you're telling me you got database and you're just
- 46:52Speaker 1: talling black people all around the punches. Well, no, sir,
- 46:55Speaker 1: what we're doing is we're calling African Americans and let them,
- 46:58Speaker 1: letting them know that they can actually uh buy freedom
- 47:01Speaker 1: papers from us, so they don't have to be if
- 47:03Speaker 1: they're if they're if they ever get captured, then what
- 47:07Speaker 1: can happen is is that they can show their papers
- 47:09Speaker 1: and not have to deal with the problems that we
- 47:13Speaker 1: already free. You're gonna have a whole bunch of run
- 47:15Speaker 1: away because we ain't paying. I'm not fan they might,
- 47:18Speaker 1: but I'm not fan. Sure. You're gonna have to have
- 47:20Speaker 1: your freedom papers on you at all times. That's gonna
- 47:23Speaker 1: be the law within the next six months. So what
- 47:25Speaker 1: I'm trying to end can sell you freedom papers so
- 47:28Speaker 1: you'll understand that you you have everything that you need.
- 47:31Speaker 1: You have your driver's license, you have your freedom papers
- 47:34Speaker 1: and whatever else did you carry on you you had
- 47:36Speaker 1: let's be out your money. Called me on my phone
- 47:40Speaker 1: this Sunday's wrong with you? Freedom papers? I ain't getting you?
- 47:45Speaker 1: Are you? I'm Scott, sir. I'm gonnassociate here at the FBI.
- 47:49Speaker 1: I ain't heard about that SPI. You just want to
- 47:52Speaker 1: pick from me thinking about seeing you some damn money.
- 47:54Speaker 1: Y'all kiss my sir, sir, I understand you, But what
- 47:59Speaker 1: you gonta understand is within the next six months you're
- 48:01Speaker 1: gonna need these papers. Well, they're gonna have to catch
- 48:03Speaker 1: my sime tams. Okay, sir, don't you don't you want
- 48:07Speaker 1: to be free? I am free. Everybody's free. We got
- 48:10Speaker 1: a black president. He's gonna have to get freedom papers
- 48:13Speaker 1: I buy from you, kiss mother. Sir, You're gonna have
- 48:16Speaker 1: to pay for these papers, one way or the other. Okay,
- 48:19Speaker 1: I'm trying to I gave you a call. I trying
- 48:22Speaker 1: to be nice to you. I'm letting you know now
- 48:24Speaker 1: you're gonna have to pay for your freedom. I'm not pampered, sir.
- 48:27Speaker 1: Everyone will be captured if they do not have freedom papers.
- 48:32Speaker 1: You tell you right now, catch me, sir, Sir. You're
- 48:36Speaker 1: going to get captured when you least expected. Sir, You're

- 48:42Speaker 1: be you tm to cantake. Y'all. Donna have to catch
- 48:46Speaker 1: me because I ain't paying. I didn't look at up

- 48:51Speaker 1: trying to get my money in. Are you on the computer? Yeah? Okay,
- 48:56Speaker 1: Can I tell you one more thing? Can I can
- 48:58Speaker 1: I get you to google something else? Put in put
- 49:01Speaker 1: in N E P H E W all right, t

- 49:37Speaker 1: the baddest and I mean the baddest radio show in
- 49:40Speaker 1: the lane? The Steve Harpy Morning to Show. Next? Count
- 49:48Speaker 1: that pretty good? I got the mint? No good? What
- 49:51Speaker 1: that dad is right there? Freedom player? Readom paper. Don't

- 50:50Speaker 1: submit your Strawberry letter to Steve Harvey FM dot com
- 50:53Speaker 1: and click submit Strawberry letter Very important. If you have
- 51:00Speaker 1: I have a sex issue, I can send that here. Well,
- 51:02Speaker 1: I don't know if we can help you, but none
- 51:05Speaker 1: of us can. He's unhelpable, Steve. Anybody getting in that
- 51:12Speaker 1: week can't very good. Buggle up and hold on tight.
- 51:17Speaker 1: We got it for you here. It is the Strawberry
- 51:19Speaker 1: Letter subject if I kid roses one more time. Dear
- 51:23Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley. I am a wife and a mother with
- 51:26Speaker 1: a great career. I love my husband. He is the
- 51:28Speaker 1: best friend. He is my best friend and an amazing father.
- 51:32Speaker 1: But sometimes I feel like he doesn't value me. Before
- 51:35Speaker 1: we got married, I knew he wasn't very romantic and
- 51:38Speaker 1: he didn't pay attention to details. Over the years, I
- 51:42Speaker 1: realized that he does not get me. For example, I
- 51:45Speaker 1: have never liked red roses and he noses, but throughout
- 51:49Speaker 1: our marriage, for every occasion I get red roses. I've
- 51:53Speaker 1: never complained about the roses because I feel like it's
- 51:56Speaker 1: better than nothing, and I've told him my favorite flower
- 52:00Speaker 1: there lilies. When he brought me my engagement ring, he
- 52:03Speaker 1: got the ring that best fit his budget and not
- 52:06Speaker 1: the one I want it. When we have sex, if
- 52:08Speaker 1: anything new or exciting happened, I am always the one
- 52:11Speaker 1: to initiate it. I've always had a high sex drive
- 52:14Speaker 1: and I told him, But I guess he thinks I've changed.
- 52:18Speaker 1: I've never denied him sex, even though I only enjoy
- 52:21Speaker 1: it occasionally. He seems bored a lot during sex, and
- 52:25Speaker 1: it takes the joy out of it for me. I
- 52:27Speaker 1: am attractive and men notice me when I'm out. I
- 52:30Speaker 1: don't play into it because I have no desire to
- 52:33Speaker 1: cheat on my husband, but it feels good when other
- 52:36Speaker 1: men notice me. I want my husband to enjoy spending
- 52:39Speaker 1: time with me. I've talked to him about his attitude
- 52:42Speaker 1: towards me, but he still falls short. But if I
- 52:46Speaker 1: get red roses one more time, I'm going to flip out.
- 52:50Speaker 1: What can I do to make my situation better? Please
- 52:52Speaker 1: help me. While the letter isn't just about getting red roses,
- 52:57Speaker 1: it's about a lot of things which you kind of
- 52:59Speaker 1: may it about red roses, It's about your husband not
- 53:02Speaker 1: being very romantic. It's about your husband not listening to you.
- 53:07Speaker 1: It's about your husband not paying attention to the details
- 53:10Speaker 1: like you say, It's about you not being happy in
- 53:13Speaker 1: the bedroom when you guys are intimate. It's about a
- 53:16Speaker 1: whole lot of stuff in this letter, but you put
- 53:19Speaker 1: it on the red roses, I mean, and that could
- 53:21Speaker 1: be the catalyst for all this stuff. You know, if
- 53:24Speaker 1: he listened to you about the red roses, maybe he
- 53:27Speaker 1: would listen to you about other things. It just sounds like,
- 53:29Speaker 1: you know, he's not listening to you, and the way
- 53:32Speaker 1: you make a sound, he just does whatever he wants
- 53:34Speaker 1: to do. You also through and here and hear about
- 53:37Speaker 1: your attractive to other men, and you don't want to
- 53:40Speaker 1: cheat on your husband, So that's going through your mind.
- 53:42Speaker 1: But because you said you feel good when other men
- 53:46Speaker 1: notice you, you want your husband to enjoy spending time
- 53:49Speaker 1: with you. It doesn't sound like he doesn't enjoy spending
- 53:52Speaker 1: time with you. It just sounds like you guys have
- 53:55Speaker 1: some communication issues going on here because you tell him
- 54:00Speaker 1: one thing he doesn't listen you know, I mean, is
- 54:03Speaker 1: he does at least by you roses. So if you
- 54:07Speaker 1: tell him you like lilies. Have you shown him the
- 54:09Speaker 1: kind of lilies you like? Have you taken the time
- 54:11Speaker 1: to tell him, Okay, I don't like these, honey, Well,
- 54:13Speaker 1: why don't we flip it up? You know, switch it up.
- 54:16Speaker 1: Anything new and exciting in the bedroom. You have to
- 54:18Speaker 1: initiate it. So it just sounds like everything is a problem,
- 54:22Speaker 1: not just the red roses. I think you guys need
- 54:24Speaker 1: to sit down and have a serious conversation because he's
- 54:28Speaker 1: not listening. You're not getting through communication, I think is
- 54:31Speaker 1: your main problem. Steve, here's the problem in this letter.
- 54:36Speaker 1: It's very very simple, and you said it at the outset,
- 54:40Speaker 1: which made me not understand the rest of the letter.
- 54:43Speaker 1: I feel like he doesn't value me. Before we got married,
- 54:51Speaker 1: I knew he wasn't very romantic and he didn't pay
- 54:56Speaker 1: attention to details. He showed this to you before you
- 55:05Speaker 1: got mad. He didn't turn into this dude. He was
- 55:07Speaker 1: that dude. You married him anyway, thinking you could change him,
- 55:15Speaker 1: probably like so many women. But like the minister told me,
- 55:19Speaker 1: one thing, the only thing that changes the day after
- 55:21Speaker 1: you get married is the appearance of your left hand
- 55:23Speaker 1: third fingers. Now he is the exact same thing that
- 55:27Speaker 1: he is being. Over the years, I realize he does
- 55:30Speaker 1: not pay attention to details. For example, I have never
- 55:35Speaker 1: liked wrote red roses and he knows it. Yeah, but
- 55:38Speaker 1: your problem is he do he liked red rodes. Red
- 55:43Speaker 1: roses do something to him. He loved red roses. I
- 55:50Speaker 1: always dreamed of giving a woman red roses. That's in
- 55:54Speaker 1: his mind. So you're gonna get these damn red rods. Hell,
- 55:59Speaker 1: you don't who don't like red roses? They everywhere, They
- 56:04Speaker 1: on the parade route. But throughout our marriage, for every occasion,
- 56:08Speaker 1: I get red roses because he liked red rose and
- 56:15Speaker 1: he didn't decide a long time ago. This ain't about you,
- 56:18Speaker 1: this about him. I've never complained about the roses because
- 56:23Speaker 1: I feel like it's better than nothing. You got to
- 56:27Speaker 1: say something. You can't be married to a fool like
- 56:32Speaker 1: this and then don't tell him her fool. I'm sure
- 56:38Speaker 1: Miss Miles tells Tommy all the time, you're a fool.
- 56:41Speaker 1: What the hell, what the hell? What are we doing now?
- 56:45Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure she says that to him, Tommy, you're
- 56:49Speaker 1: a fool, because she no really this boy, Well, I'm
- 56:57Speaker 1: just saying, if you're married to a fool, you don't
- 57:00Speaker 1: never tell him that. You don't think Madred has said
- 57:04Speaker 1: to me, why is your ass so crazy? You don't
- 57:08Speaker 1: think she said that to me oh many times. You
- 57:12Speaker 1: don't think one of Jay's x Y has ever said
- 57:15Speaker 1: to him, which black ants don't need to be mad.
- 57:18Speaker 1: I don't think they said that. All right, listen, you
- 57:23Speaker 1: know what they want to Junior's girlfriends. They saying you're
- 57:25Speaker 1: sick again. We'll have bird two of Steve's response coming
- 57:30Speaker 1: up at twenty three after the hour. You're listening, all right, Steve,
- 57:37Speaker 1: come on, let's get into it with part two of
- 57:39Speaker 1: your response to today's Strawberry. This woman, if I get
- 57:42Speaker 1: roses one more time? You're married a man that don't
- 57:46Speaker 1: pay attention to detail. You know you're sitting up and
- 57:49Speaker 1: here you're mad cause head and bought you roses. Now,
- 57:52Speaker 1: I know Sherley was saying, you know how many women
- 57:55Speaker 1: don't get nothing? Well, hell, if you're getting what you want,
- 57:59Speaker 1: it's if you getting what you don't want. Ain't that
- 58:01Speaker 1: the same thing as nothing? Hell? Yeah, you might will
- 58:06Speaker 1: not give me the flowers. I hate these damn flowers.
- 58:08Speaker 1: They thank to me? He coming in ever to red
- 58:11Speaker 1: roses now she's never liked red roses. She's never complained
- 58:15Speaker 1: about the roses because I feel like it's better than nothing. Well,
- 58:18Speaker 1: you should have complained. I've told him my favorite flowers
- 58:20Speaker 1: on lilies. He may not even know what it, Lily said,
- 58:23Speaker 1: and surely said it best take by the flowers and
- 58:25Speaker 1: showing what you like. You're marrid to an ignorant person. Damn,
- 58:32Speaker 1: when he brought my engagement ring, he got me the
- 58:35Speaker 1: ring that best fit the budget and not the one
- 58:38Speaker 1: I want it. When we have sex, if it's anything
- 58:41Speaker 1: new or exciting to happen, I'm always the one to
- 58:43Speaker 1: initiate it. I've always had a high sex drive, and
- 58:46Speaker 1: I told him. But I guess he thinks I've changed.
- 58:48Speaker 1: I've never denied him sex, even though I only enjoined occasionally.
- 58:52Speaker 1: Oh so now he ain't bringing it. See, there was
- 58:55Speaker 1: really wrong we go now. I didn't notice this in
- 58:59Speaker 1: a letter till I just read it. Not all is
- 59:01Speaker 1: you coming in here with the wrong damn roses, the
- 59:05Speaker 1: wrong flowers? You brought me a ring out in life,
- 59:08Speaker 1: I told y'all had a high sex drive. Now you
- 59:13Speaker 1: in here and you ain't in here frying this bacon.
- 59:17Speaker 1: The way. I like getting it fried road. I like
- 59:22Speaker 1: my bacon well done. You ain't here leaving with all
- 59:25Speaker 1: these raw edges on this bacon. I like my bacon
- 59:29Speaker 1: extra crispy. In your asses in here, thirty second microwave
- 59:33Speaker 1: in this bay. I don't want no Steve Harvey easy bacon.
- 59:42Speaker 1: I want my bacon fried on both sides, long time.
- 59:46Speaker 1: You can fry my bacon in two minutes. Two minutes.
- 59:48Speaker 1: Ain't gonna cut it in him. That's what's wrong. Ain't
- 59:52Speaker 1: got a damn thing, dude with flower. Everything is wrong.
- 59:56Speaker 1: He seems bored a lot during sex, and it takes
- 59:59Speaker 1: the joy out of he bored. He bored because he
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: ain't doing nothing. I ain't ever board, you know why,
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: because I'm in here with tricks. Because tricks ain't for kids,
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: not in this, not in the dead room. Mad tricks,
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: chick down. It ain't even rabbit in him. Tricks for
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: grown up. And I've got plenty that's around. Had you
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: in here doing things you never thought was doable. Put
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: your knee up on the nice thing. Hold right there.
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: Take that lamp shade off that lamb handed him. Watch
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: this what aut Take two corners up of that sheet off.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: Just take two corners off, watching her hood. Put one
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: hand on the window, hold on, hold on the one
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: but pulling the curtain back. That's too far back. Closer
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: just a little bit. I now staying right there. I'm
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: gonna go back over here by the door light. Bug,
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: if you can unscrew that, put some of this. Put
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: some of this hot baby on the bottom of my
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: right foot, your right foot, well, I'll need that for traction. Now,
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: everybody ready, I don't know where we're going. Ain't nobody
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: fit to be bored up in the hill. I have ideas.
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: Bite down on this hill? What is that now? Anything?
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: Don't worry about it now. Surely here's the one mistake
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: you made in the letter. You said that she's attracted
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: to other men. I think she stated that she well,
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: its good when other men noticed me. Yeah, it does that.
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: She wants attention. I want my husband enjoy spending time
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: with me. I've talked to him about his attitude towards me.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: But he still falls short. That could be the problem
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: his height, because that that could be it right there,
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: But he's still falls short. He's still fall short. If
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: you're a little man, you ain't gonna get all that.
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: I'm just saying just in case. That's but if I
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: can get rid. But if I get rid roses one
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: more damn time on top of his early as his ring,
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: I'm then the fact that you ain't frying this baking
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: like I want to bring him thought. I'm gonna take
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: the roses. I'm gonna flip him upside down. I'm gonna
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: push all them thrones up to where sun don't shot.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: Give me him roses one more dime. I'm going to
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: flip out what I have to do. Listen to me.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: You have to flip out. He's not getting these conversations
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: you're having. You have to flip out because he don't listen,
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: and it's about him you want in the making, sex exciting.
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: You gotta flip out. He ain't listening. You got snap
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: cracking pop you Rice crispis with milk on it. Next
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: time he bringing red roses in there, just at the
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: top of your love I don't won't know m f
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: if and d if and roses no I and mulling

- 1:04:00Speaker 1: What's the biggest like you ever told? Tommy started off
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: my oldest son. When he was younger, he wanted to
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: go to PG thirteen movies. Okay, I always knew it
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: was gonna be something that he didn't need to see.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: He didn't know, but I would tell him, Hey, do
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: you know what PG thirteen means? He's like no, I
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: say that means only thirteen people can go in the movie.
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: So when I when we would get there, I say,
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: it's already twelve people in there. We can't go in there.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: It's too late. And he would be like, wow, we
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: don't never get him time enough to see any PG
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: thirteen movies. We're gonna have to go see a G movie.
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: We'd be all up in line, king, we're not going
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: to see your mama ain't gonna be mad. Pg. Thirteen
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: And all right, come on, what's the biggest ever to
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: make sure that my mama ain't listening? Huh? Man? I
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: was at football sixteen years old, and my mama let
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: me take a truck to practice. And you don't have
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: to practice, my boy getting the truck we're driving back.
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: I took my mama brand new blazer and backed it
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: and got it stuck on the side, and then it
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: the whole left side on the school bus. Ah. My
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: boys said, man, I can't let you go back home
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: with the truth. You got to say that bus backed
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: into you. Okay, boy, he said, you can't walk in
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: mama brand. He got this tag still on it. It
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: ain't no license plate. Man. I walked in there, mom
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: and said, what happened to that trunk? And my boys
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: just went talking. We was just bustling up our seat
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: best and they didn't know a school bus hit us. Boy.
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: My mama bought that for about two months. She said,
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: why you ain't getting no case? Right? I got ass
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: I see that sixty I could I was fast after that.

- 1:06:13Speaker 1: stopped at the drugs there on Boston Ponds cold cream.
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: That was a trick me and the fellas used to

- 1:06:22Speaker 1: see in the window. I put the Ponds cold cream
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: on the windows. Oh, I got down there to pick
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: her up. And when I went and picked up and
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: she came and got in the carm in the station way,
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: and I backed out. I couldn't see a damn thing.
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: And I hit my daddy's offender on the fence and
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: toe the head light out. I can't get cream off
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: no windows. Yeah, you can get Ponds cold cream off

- 1:15:39Speaker 1: Dudes do that all time. But that's what I'm saying.
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: Just admitted. Yeah, just going back, don't go back, swallow

- 1:16:15Speaker 1: be friends no more. Now she won't while I'm calling her.
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: I just want some peace in the house. All your
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: stuff is the truth happening. People be doing this all
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: the time and don't about to pay attention to it.
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: All right, So we'll be back with our last break
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: of the day and some closing remarks from our fearless leader,
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: the one and only mister Steve Hardy right after this.
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: You're listening show, all right, Steve, here we are last
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: break of the day on this Monday. Please take us home,
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: get us back to work with some good juicy closing remarks. Hey.
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: You know, um, I try to I try to be encouraging,
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: you know, to people, because everybody wants to be successful,
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: everybody wants to be happy. I've been at this for
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: some time now, and I just like telling people some
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: of the small valuable lessons that I've had to learn
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: along the way. And you know, man, I used to
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: get bummed out when when bad things happened to me.
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: I mean I really did. Look, I'm human, I'm like
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: anybody else that you know. Man, When when I come
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: up in an attack and I don't think it's justified,
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: it used to bum me out. I mean for like
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: a week, three four days, you know, I used to
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: be really thrown off sometimes because I did not understand
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: why the attack was coming. I didn't understand why. Maybe
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: sometimes people couldn't understand why I was coming from. Maybe
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: sometimes I just couldn't understand the level of hatred that
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: are in some people. You know. Sometimes man, I would
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: just go a God, come on, now, what is this about.
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: I don't really deserve this, do I mean? Am I
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: really a bad person? You know what I was talking? Man?
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: How are you letting this happen? But you gotta understand something, man,
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: everything that you're going through is preparing you for what
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: you ask God for. Just know that everything you're going through,
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: every single thing, is preparing you for what you ask
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: God for, or it's preparing you for what God has
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: for you. So what I ended up learning and what
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: I do now is like you know, I still get
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: bad news and it throw me, but it don't throw
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: me into for no days, no more, ain't no two
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: days While I'm wallowing in nothing no more. You know,
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: you throw me for a couple hours, and you know,
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: I sleep on it, and I start praying about it.
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: I get myself together, and then I'm ready to hit
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: it tomorrow morning. You're not. You're not. You can't do
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: anything to me to get me for days anymore, because
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: I understand what it is, man, and you know what
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: it is. If you saw the size of the blessings
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: that were coming, then you would understand the magnitude of
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: the battle you are fighting. Do you understand that if
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: you saw the size of the blessing coming, you would
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: understand the magnitude of the battle that you're fighting. See, man,
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: you got to get tested along the way. And no
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: free rides and on free lunch, you know, ain't no
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: free You know all this stuff. It's not going to
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: be easy. You're going to be challenged because two things.
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: Sometimes God allows things to happen to you because he
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: knows you need the experience of it. And that's just
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: the truth. Sorry, but God didn't come into your life
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: to tell you that he was gonna smooth everything out
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: and you weren't gonna have no more worries. Now, that's
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: not what he said. He said he would give you
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: the strength to handle it, the knowledge and the wisdom
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: to endure, the ability to maintain. And that's exactly what
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: he does. And I've been saying this for the past
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: two weeks, but I can't stop saying it because it's
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: really so good. And the reason you know that God
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: said he would give you the strength to endure anything,
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: that he would stand with you and make sure you
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: got through it, whether you ask him for help or not.
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: He's done that to you up until this point. Because,
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: like I've been saying for a past couple of weeks,
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: every rough day you've ever had, every day you thought
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: you wasn't gonna endure. If you look back on it,
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: your track record for surviving bad days is one hundred percent.
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: And that's pretty good everybody. You have survived one hundred
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: percent of all of your bad days. So guess what then,
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: that must mean his promises a truth that he said
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: he promised to never leave you. Did he leave you
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: when you got through the bad days? Na? And he
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: was there when most of us didn't even call on him.
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: He was just there for us. So with that in mind,
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: take everything that's happening to you with the grain of salt,
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: absorb it. Know that that's what it is. But know
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: that on the other side, he's probably standing right there
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: because he always has. And what you don't know is
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: he's carrying you through most of it. He's holding you up.
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: If you saw the size of the blessings that was coming,
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: then you would understand the magnitude of the battle you're fighting.
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: Everybody is in a fight with something. I don't kill
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: who you are. I don't care how much money you got,
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: I don't care what your title is. Everybody is in
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: a battle with something. But on the other side, what's
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: over there? You know? I think it was I read
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: a quote from Will Smith that said, the best things
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: in life on the other side of fear you ever noticed, man?
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: And on the other side of fears, what's really waiting
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: on you? But God really got for you? It is
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: on the other side of fear. You just got to
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: stop being afraid to jump. You gotta stop being afraid
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: to take a chance. You gotta stop being afraid to
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: go see. You gotta stop being afraid to try something new.
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: You gotta stop being afraid to put something you value
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: up for risk. It's the only way you're going to
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: win in life. Gotta take chances, best things in life
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: on the other side of fear, and last but not least,
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: if you saw the size of the blessings that was
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: coming your way, then you would understand the magnitude of
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: the battle that you're fighting. All right, that's it, drop it, baby,
