- 2:08Speaker 3: I want it only Steve Harvey Man oh Man.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Got a radio show, got a good one for you today.
- 2:13Speaker 1: And it just happened.
- 2:15Speaker 3: You know, I was going through something that I've been
- 2:18Speaker 3: going through for a long long time and just weary
- 2:21Speaker 3: of it all, and I was I'd been talking to
- 2:23Speaker 3: God about it, and I mean for years.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Though.
- 2:27Speaker 3: What happened was I had had to go through some
- 2:30Speaker 3: more of it yesterday again in a situation. But you
- 2:34Speaker 3: know what, after it was over, you know, I kind
- 2:37Speaker 3: of laid in it for a little while. You know
- 2:39Speaker 3: how you've been going through something for so long, and
- 2:41Speaker 3: then even if it's over or appears to be over,
- 2:44Speaker 3: you still kind of lay in it a little bit
- 2:46Speaker 3: and you know you have a while. Man, I can't
- 2:49Speaker 3: believe I've been dealing with this this long, even though
- 2:52Speaker 3: even though it's over. I don't know how you do it,
- 2:55Speaker 3: but this was so good for me. Have you ever counted,
- 2:59Speaker 3: Steve Harvey, how many times you made it? And so
- 3:02Speaker 3: that's what I started doing yesterday, And that's what I
- 3:05Speaker 3: did this morning when I woke up. I was actually
- 3:08Speaker 3: taking an inventory account of how many times I made it.
- 3:13Speaker 3: How many times, man, I didn't have the rent and
- 3:16Speaker 3: somehow I came up with it. How many times I
- 3:19Speaker 3: didn't have my house payment and somehow I came up
- 3:23Speaker 3: with it. How many times I was out of money,
- 3:26Speaker 3: did not have enough, didn't see no way, but somehow
- 3:30Speaker 3: I came up with it. How many times I got sick, thought, well, man,
- 3:35Speaker 3: this one right here. I don't know what I'm gonna do,
- 3:37Speaker 3: but somehow I got my health back. How many situations
- 3:42Speaker 3: I have found myself in That was I thought at
- 3:46Speaker 3: the time, detrimental and diabolical and man so sinister at times,
- 3:53Speaker 3: somehow I made it. I look at all the accidents
- 3:57Speaker 3: I've been in, but I made it. I think about
- 4:02Speaker 3: even the simplest times of like stepping off a curve
- 4:05Speaker 3: and almost got hit, but I made it. I was
- 4:08Speaker 3: just tripping the other day. I was thinking about the
- 4:11Speaker 3: times that I been hit by a car and it
- 4:13Speaker 3: could have been worse, but it wasn't, And I made
- 4:16Speaker 3: it through that too. I was thinking about, Man, when
- 4:19Speaker 3: they count you out? Do you know how many times
- 4:22Speaker 3: I've been counted out? He's done? He ain't gonna be nothing,
- 4:27Speaker 3: He ain't nobody. See what I told y'all, Look at
- 4:30Speaker 3: over that they counsel this. He offered that he out
- 4:33Speaker 3: of here. He ain't gonna make it. He didne got fired. Man,
- 4:36Speaker 3: You know how many times I've been counted out? You
- 4:38Speaker 3: know how many times they done wrote me off? How
- 4:41Speaker 3: many times have you been written off?
- 4:43Speaker 1: Man? But here you still standing? Yeah? You ever tripped
- 4:45Speaker 1: on it?
- 4:46Speaker 3: Take an inventory, y'all of how many times? Count the
- 4:50Speaker 3: times you've made it? What about the times man, when
- 4:53Speaker 3: nobody was there to encourage you, but you still here
- 4:57Speaker 3: though you have tripped on that. Nobody called you and
- 5:00Speaker 3: told you good day. No nobody called you and told
- 5:02Speaker 3: you recently thank you. No one's called you and told
- 5:05Speaker 3: you how much you meant to them, how much you've
- 5:07Speaker 3: done for them or man, that you can make it.
- 5:09Speaker 3: Never give up, Keep your head up, man, keep grinding.
- 5:12Speaker 3: But you still here even when nobody. Have you counted
- 5:15Speaker 3: the times man, that you made it anyway? Have you
- 5:20Speaker 3: counted the times that you felt like quitting, you felt
- 5:23Speaker 3: like giving up, you kept going. How about the time
- 5:27Speaker 3: this is a good one right here? How about the
- 5:29Speaker 3: times man, when everybody's standing around saying, ain't no way,
- 5:33Speaker 3: ain't no way.
- 5:34Speaker 5: Man.
- 5:34Speaker 3: I can't tell you how many times I've heard this,
- 5:36Speaker 3: ain't no way, and then somehow there is a way.
- 5:40Speaker 3: You know why, because he make a way. You understand.
- 5:44Speaker 3: You know how many times I've heard this one right here, Steve,
- 5:47Speaker 3: listen to me, man, nobody ever before has done that.
- 5:52Speaker 1: You can't do that. How many times you done heard
- 5:55Speaker 1: no or you know anybody that done that? You can't
- 5:59Speaker 1: do that. No one has ever done that. I made
- 6:02Speaker 1: it anyway?
- 6:05Speaker 3: You know, they don't normally or we don't normally allowed this,
- 6:12Speaker 3: but in this case, for you, we gonna make an exception.
- 6:17Speaker 3: How many times have you heard that, Oh, I think
- 6:20Speaker 3: I'm onto something. How many times have you heard in
- 6:23Speaker 3: your lifetime? We don't normally or they don't normally allow this,
- 6:30Speaker 3: but we gonna make this exception in your case. How
- 6:34Speaker 3: many times you done heard that? Have you ever counted
- 6:39Speaker 3: the times that you made it? Everybody out except me?
- 6:46Speaker 1: How can that be?
- 6:48Speaker 3: You know you're the only one that got through this? Congratulations? Wow, man,
- 6:53Speaker 3: I don't hardly see this too many times. But do
- 6:56Speaker 3: you realize that normally this is what happened to people?
- 6:59Speaker 3: But man, y'all, I don't know how your name came up,
- 7:02Speaker 3: but here you are. Wow, it never happens like that.
- 7:06Speaker 3: You ever counted those times I was doing it yesterday?
- 7:09Speaker 3: I was doing it this morning. I was just taking
- 7:11Speaker 3: an inventory everybody of how many times I've made it.
- 7:15Speaker 3: So what I learned yesterday was when God gets you
- 7:20Speaker 3: through something, when he pulled you out on the other side,
- 7:24Speaker 3: no matter how difficult or how long it took. When
- 7:27Speaker 3: he gets you out on the other side, why don't
- 7:29Speaker 3: you get up, dust yourself off, and start trying what
- 7:34Speaker 3: you laying there for?
- 7:35Speaker 2: Man?
- 7:36Speaker 1: Wallowing in it, going over it, recycling it in your mind.
- 7:41Speaker 3: So many people can't move forward because we keep recycling
- 7:46Speaker 3: stuff in our mind when clearly it's time to move on,
- 7:52Speaker 3: it's time to let go, it's time to go and
- 7:56Speaker 3: see what God has for you. Stop looking at what
- 8:00Speaker 3: you lost. What you lost was probably not yours to
- 8:05Speaker 3: have in the first all in the first place. Do
- 8:13Speaker 3: you know the things I've lost? Now, I'm not talking
- 8:16Speaker 3: about losing a loved one, a mother or father, nothing
- 8:18Speaker 3: like that. I'm talking about innate objects or situation. Do
- 8:23Speaker 3: you know the things I've lost? Man, I look back
- 8:25Speaker 3: on it. I wasn't supposed to have them in the
- 8:26Speaker 3: first place, or they was doing me no good. I
- 8:29Speaker 3: wasn't wasn't mine to lose, but I claimed.
- 8:32Speaker 1: I lost it.
- 8:33Speaker 3: Come on, man, take an inventory, everybody. Start looking at
- 8:36Speaker 3: the things man, that God has brought you through. Start
- 8:39Speaker 3: looking at how many times He allowed you to make it.
- 8:41Speaker 3: And get glad about waking up in the morning. Man,
- 8:44Speaker 3: Get glad about your life. Start feeling something positive about
- 8:47Speaker 3: your situation. You cannot expect God to continue to bless
- 8:52Speaker 3: you if you're not grateful for the things that you have.
- 8:55Speaker 3: Why would God sitting down here looking at you, upset, angry,
- 9:02Speaker 3: laying in the wall of what you are not grateful for.
- 9:07Speaker 3: You just can't find the scene and find no gratitude
- 9:09Speaker 3: in your heart about nothing, but you steady asking God
- 9:12Speaker 3: for something. So now you think God is crazy. You
- 9:15Speaker 3: think he gonna give you some more stuff to not
- 9:17Speaker 3: be grateful for. Are you kidding me? Why would he
- 9:20Speaker 3: do that. He's too full of too much mercy to
- 9:23Speaker 3: send you through that over and over and over. The
- 9:26Speaker 3: more I give my child, the more ungrateful they are,
- 9:29Speaker 3: the less gratitude they show. But I'm gonna keep dumping
- 9:32Speaker 3: it on them so they can keep feeling ungrateful and
- 9:34Speaker 3: then show like a gratitude. God's not gonna do that
- 9:37Speaker 3: to you. Come on, man, have you ever counted how
- 9:42Speaker 3: many times you made it? I can't count how many
- 9:47Speaker 3: times God then got me through something. But when it
- 9:50Speaker 3: gets you through it, you ain't get up and get
- 9:51Speaker 3: on about your business. Don't lay that in it.
- 9:54Speaker 1: It's over, it's done, you made it, you survived it.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Let's go, Let's go.
- 9:58Speaker 6: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:04Speaker 3: Ladies and gentlemen, A new day is here, another opportunity,
- 10:07Speaker 3: another blessing from the almighty creator. Man oh Man, oh Man.
- 10:11Speaker 3: I love the fact that God is who he is.
- 10:15Speaker 3: God is everything. He's all powerful, all knowing, all seeing,
- 10:20Speaker 3: all prevailing, all doing, all knowing whatever, you need God,
- 10:25Speaker 3: got it? You have got to have a relationship with him.
- 10:30Speaker 3: He is the one entity that is ever present at
- 10:34Speaker 3: all time, you know. And he ain't sleep, he ain't off,
- 10:40Speaker 3: he got no busy signal.
- 10:42Speaker 1: He is the only I don't.
- 10:43Speaker 3: Care how cool you are with a person, You can't
- 10:45Speaker 3: get them all the time. They ain't available every time.
- 10:51Speaker 3: Some of your friends, when you call him to help
- 10:53Speaker 3: you move, they just I'm doing something, that's said. God
- 10:58Speaker 3: is always doing what's necessary for you. This is the
- 11:02Speaker 3: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Shirley Strawberry callin for Real Mississippi,
- 11:06Speaker 3: Monica Junior and Thomas Junior.
- 11:08Speaker 1: What's on your mind?
- 11:10Speaker 2: Hey?
- 11:10Speaker 3: Uncle?
- 11:10Speaker 7: Let me ask you this uncle about seeing your mission through?
- 11:13Speaker 7: Like you know, sometimes Uncle, I get a point to Wes,
- 11:17Speaker 7: like maybe I should just stop let this go because
- 11:19Speaker 7: it ain't working out. This ain't how I see it going.
- 11:22Speaker 7: Do you always stick with your plan when you have
- 11:25Speaker 7: a mission going?
- 11:26Speaker 1: Well?
- 11:26Speaker 3: Let me ask you a question. When you say, give
- 11:29Speaker 3: me the last part of your question again, you say,
- 11:31Speaker 3: when you don't.
- 11:32Speaker 7: Want to when you're going through your mission, Like, so,
- 11:34Speaker 7: you got a mission right, it's not going right like
- 11:37Speaker 7: I saw it going Okay, you just drop that plan
- 11:40Speaker 7: and start newna he.
- 11:42Speaker 6: To do that.
- 11:43Speaker 3: Well, let me help you to something. It ain't gonna
- 11:45Speaker 3: ever go the way you plan. You just have to
- 11:49Speaker 3: get that in your head right now. Look, man, if
- 11:52Speaker 3: it went the way I planned it, all my plans
- 11:55Speaker 3: would succeed, and all my plans would happen no later
- 11:59Speaker 3: than tomorrow.
- 12:01Speaker 1: That's according to plan.
- 12:04Speaker 3: But we have this thing called life, and in this life,
- 12:06Speaker 3: we have this thing called test, and you're gonna get
- 12:09Speaker 3: life and you're.
- 12:10Speaker 1: Gonna get tested.
- 12:12Speaker 3: The part that you're having about I'm gonna give up
- 12:14Speaker 3: is how bad do you want what you ask God
- 12:17Speaker 3: for in the first place, Because we're going to find
- 12:20Speaker 3: out through a series of tests.
- 12:22Speaker 1: Now, listen to me.
- 12:23Speaker 3: If you have wanted something that is not the will
- 12:26Speaker 3: of God, chances are it's gonna be difficult to make
- 12:29Speaker 3: that happen.
- 12:30Speaker 1: And if it does happen because you just forced it,
- 12:33Speaker 1: it probably won't last. Okay. So you are going to always.
- 12:40Speaker 3: Run up into situations where you think, maybe this ain't
- 12:44Speaker 3: the right way. But if you pray without ceasing, he
- 12:48Speaker 3: will always provide the answer as to which way you
- 12:51Speaker 3: can ask God to order your steps, and it will
- 12:53Speaker 3: make your life a lot simpler. I just learned this
- 12:57Speaker 3: how to let him just order my steps and quit
- 12:59Speaker 3: worrying about God. I reduced anxiety in my life tremendously.
- 13:03Speaker 3: Almost have none. I really almost have none. I have
- 13:08Speaker 3: found out how to take each day one day at
- 13:11Speaker 3: a time and live in that day, in that moment,
- 13:13Speaker 3: and not worry about what happened yesterday, and show don't
- 13:16Speaker 3: give a whole lot of concern for tomorrow. Now, all
- 13:20Speaker 3: my decisions are based on I could wake up tomorrow,
- 13:24Speaker 3: So I make all my decisions today based on that
- 13:28Speaker 3: that I could wake up tomorrow, So I ain't just
- 13:30Speaker 3: throwing caution to the wind.
- 13:33Speaker 1: Right appreciated me?
- 13:35Speaker 6: All right, thank you Steve for that. Coming up at
- 13:37Speaker 6: thirty two minutes after the hour, we will hear from
- 13:40Speaker 6: the nephew as he runs that prank back right after this.
- 13:44Speaker 1: From getting some this knowledge and wisdom I got.
- 13:48Speaker 6: You're listening hardy Morning show.
- 13:55Speaker 1: Folks.
- 13:55Speaker 3: There are a lot of reasons to like Hyundais. Hyundai's
- 13:59Speaker 3: done a lot to support American consumers. I mean, they
- 14:03Speaker 3: announced their investment of twenty one billion dollars in the
- 14:06Speaker 3: United States over the next three years that will expand
- 14:09Speaker 3: manufacturing and create more jobs for Americans.
- 14:12Speaker 8: And they just announced that they will not be raising
- 14:15Speaker 8: MSRP through June second.
- 14:17Speaker 1: No matter what.
- 14:18Speaker 8: Call five six two three one four forty six zero
- 14:22Speaker 8: three for more details.
- 14:24Speaker 6: It is time now for the nephew to run that
- 14:27Speaker 6: prank back. Nephew, what you got for us?
- 14:30Speaker 8: We have an alarm alert that is a black man
- 14:33Speaker 8: on the property, black man owned the property. Got a problem, folks,
- 14:37Speaker 8: black man walking around the property. Yeah, it gonna be
- 14:40Speaker 8: an issue. So I crossed the racial lines.
- 14:42Speaker 1: I do all that, you know.
- 14:43Speaker 8: Yeah, I didn't call I didn't call clan people before
- 14:46Speaker 8: I do what I got to jail.
- 14:47Speaker 1: Let's go call what.
- 14:51Speaker 2: Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach the deniase please, Yeah,
- 14:54Speaker 2: this is Denise. Hi, Denise, this is Tony. I'm calling security.
- 15:00Speaker 2: I've got an alarm that we've got an alarm that's
- 15:02Speaker 2: gone off on you guys property. Are you guys? We're
- 15:06Speaker 2: just checking before we send authorities out. Is everything okay?
- 15:09Speaker 2: Then maybe someone trip the alarm?
- 15:11Speaker 9: Oh my gosh, No, I'm at work. I'm at work
- 15:15Speaker 9: right now. I'm not home.
- 15:17Speaker 2: Okay. Do you have a tet or dog or anything
- 15:19Speaker 2: that could actually trip the alarm.
- 15:21Speaker 9: No, No, that's strange. It never goes off like that.
- 15:25Speaker 9: I'm nervous.
- 15:27Speaker 2: Okay, give me a second. We've got a call into
- 15:29Speaker 2: the neighborhood security that actually are in route to the property,
- 15:33Speaker 2: and they were going to give us some information before
- 15:37Speaker 2: we actually sent the police officers out, unless you would
- 15:40Speaker 2: like for me to send them out now.
- 15:42Speaker 9: But yeah, I feel like you should send the police.
- 15:44Speaker 9: I mean, if I'm not home and nobody's home and
- 15:47Speaker 9: my alarm's going off and it never goes off that,
- 15:50Speaker 9: I'm worried.
- 15:52Speaker 2: Okay, hang on one second, this is neighborhood security calling that.
- 15:55Speaker 2: Hang on one second. I'll be right back to you.
- 15:57Speaker 9: Okay, Denie, are you there, Yes, yes, yes, I'm here.
- 16:01Speaker 2: They have they're out there at the property of the
- 16:04Speaker 2: neighborhood security.
- 16:06Speaker 1: Do you.
- 16:08Speaker 2: There is a black guy there is on your premise?
- 16:11Speaker 2: Are you familiar with who that might be?
- 16:14Speaker 9: Well, I mean, my husband's black, but he should be
- 16:16Speaker 9: at work right.
- 16:17Speaker 2: Now, okay, okay, and he probably.
- 16:21Speaker 9: Would have texted me if you know the alarm.
- 16:24Speaker 2: Was flying off. Okay, Well, I mean, do you have
- 16:26Speaker 2: any other black male friends? Excuse me, do you might
- 16:31Speaker 2: have any other do you have any other black male
- 16:34Speaker 2: friends that might be at the house.
- 16:37Speaker 9: I mean, yeah, it's a very weird question. I mean
- 16:41Speaker 9: I have black friends, yes, but I don't think they
- 16:43Speaker 9: would be.
- 16:44Speaker 5: In my house.
- 16:45Speaker 2: Okay, well, I mean should we just assume that this
- 16:48Speaker 2: is your husband? What do you think? I I mean,
- 16:51Speaker 2: what would you like to.
- 16:51Speaker 9: Make that work? I mean, how tall is this person?
- 16:57Speaker 2: My husband's six? Hold on guy? Hold on one second.
- 17:00Speaker 2: Let me go back to the scary from the negrtated
- 17:02Speaker 2: ain't on one second?
- 17:03Speaker 9: Yeah, no, somebody's in my lum's going off. I don't know.
- 17:07Speaker 2: I mean, okay, Denise, Yes, okay, they have a The
- 17:11Speaker 2: black guy that they're looking at is about five foot ten,
- 17:16Speaker 2: maybe late twenties. How old is your husband?
- 17:18Speaker 9: No, my husband is I just told you that my
- 17:22Speaker 9: husband's not there. He would have texted me or called
- 17:25Speaker 9: me and told me that he accidentally set the alarm off.
- 17:28Speaker 9: And I'm actually going to text him. I mean, this
- 17:30Speaker 9: is crazy. I should probably call him.
- 17:32Speaker 2: Okay, you did not realize. If you do realize, if
- 17:35Speaker 2: we send the authorities out and this is a false call,
- 17:38Speaker 2: that you're going to get charged for that. You do
- 17:40Speaker 2: know that, right, A false call.
- 17:42Speaker 9: You just said, somebody's in my house and it's not
- 17:44Speaker 9: me or my husband, so they should beg for that.
- 17:49Speaker 2: You're saying your husband's black and then there's a black
- 17:51Speaker 2: guy there. I mean, they probably know each other, right.
- 17:54Speaker 5: Are you kidding me?
- 17:56Speaker 9: What kind of question is that they why? Because they're
- 18:00Speaker 9: both black.
- 18:01Speaker 2: I'm just trying to save you some money, man, I
- 18:03Speaker 2: don't want to send out police officers when they get
- 18:06Speaker 2: there and then all of a sudden, your husband knows
- 18:08Speaker 2: the black guy or he's a relative or something. I mean,
- 18:10Speaker 2: do they I mean, you know, do you want to
- 18:13Speaker 2: call your rank?
- 18:14Speaker 9: Do you think like this? This is really offensive? And
- 18:20Speaker 9: I don't understand. If I'm telling you that I don't
- 18:23Speaker 9: know who the person is in my house, that means
- 18:25Speaker 9: that sends the police.
- 18:27Speaker 2: I mean, this is ridiculous. They're calling back neighborhoods. Just
- 18:34Speaker 2: hold on one second. Neighborhood security is calling back here.
- 18:38Speaker 9: Oh my god, it's just ridiculous.
- 18:43Speaker 2: Okay, Denise, Now the security in the neighborhood. They're telling
- 18:48Speaker 2: me that this guy just drove out of the garage
- 18:51Speaker 2: and a white pickup. Do you do you guys have
- 18:53Speaker 2: a white pickup?
- 18:54Speaker 5: Yes, we do.
- 18:57Speaker 2: So this guy just pulled out of your your your
- 19:00Speaker 2: garage and white pickup.
- 19:01Speaker 9: Well, I have my car at work and my husband
- 19:04Speaker 9: has his car that's like the truck that he uses
- 19:07Speaker 9: on the weekends for like construction and stuff. So that
- 19:10Speaker 9: means somebody just stole our car. I can't believe this
- 19:14Speaker 9: is happening. You are watching somebody in my house and
- 19:17Speaker 9: you you basically watch them steal my truck.
- 19:20Speaker 2: Well, well, I'm gonna go ahead and now and get
- 19:22Speaker 2: the police to go over.
- 19:23Speaker 9: Okay, So why are you going to send them?
- 19:26Speaker 2: Now?
- 19:27Speaker 9: He probably took all my in my house. I mean,
- 19:30Speaker 9: the police get there, there's not gonna be anything left
- 19:32Speaker 9: in my house, probably the back of the truck.
- 19:35Speaker 2: I mean, I'm doing the best I can. I'm trying
- 19:37Speaker 2: to help.
- 19:37Speaker 9: I know that is going to do me now. I mean,
- 19:40Speaker 9: the whole time you've been talking to me, he's been
- 19:43Speaker 9: cleaning up my house out and stealing.
- 19:46Speaker 2: Well, how did you get in your house? I don't know.
- 19:50Speaker 2: I don't know this guy. You're okay, I was asking you,
- 19:56Speaker 2: how could somebody give you their house? Did you leap
- 19:58Speaker 2: something open?
- 20:00Speaker 1: What did you know?
- 20:01Speaker 9: Okay, listen, you would know because I wouldn't have been
- 20:04Speaker 9: able to set my alarm this morning. If something was open,
- 20:08Speaker 9: it would be then it wouldn't let me set the alarm.
- 20:11Speaker 9: And the fact that you're interrogating me when somebody's robbing
- 20:14Speaker 9: my house. You need to do your job. I need
- 20:17Speaker 9: to call my husband. You're wasting my time. I mean,
- 20:21Speaker 9: by the time the police get there, it's gonna be tomorrow.
- 20:23Speaker 2: So you're gonna so you're gonna call it Daryl. Now,
- 20:27Speaker 2: I'm sorry, you're gonna call it Daryl.
- 20:29Speaker 9: Now, how does do you know my husband's name?
- 20:37Speaker 2: This is nephew. Tell me from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 20:40Speaker 2: Your husband Daryl got me through prank phone coffee.
- 20:43Speaker 9: Oh my god, I wasn't gonna come down there.
- 20:48Speaker 2: And so nobody right, nobody's stole your truck, nobody's at
- 20:58Speaker 2: your house, your alarm inside every day you're good. But
- 21:01Speaker 2: Daryl told me, say, we got to give my wife,
- 21:03Speaker 2: we got to get a good Did we get you?
- 21:09Speaker 9: Oh my god, I was sweating. I was so angry.
- 21:11Speaker 5: I was sweating over.
- 21:12Speaker 2: Here, all right, So tell me this. What is the
- 21:16Speaker 2: baddest and I mean the baddest radio show in the land.
- 21:21Speaker 9: So Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 21:26Speaker 6: Take it away, sir, all right, nephew, thank you. Coming
- 21:29Speaker 6: up next, we'll hear from the CLO as we ask this,
- 21:32Speaker 6: Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey in the building right after this.
- 21:36Speaker 6: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You've heard
- 21:44Speaker 6: us talk about the benefits of Globe Life insurance. Globe
- 21:47Speaker 6: Life has been protecting families for generations. Globe Life is
- 21:50Speaker 6: easy to buy, with rates starting as low as three
- 21:54Speaker 6: dollars and forty nine cents a month. There is no
- 21:56Speaker 6: medical exam, just a simple application called globeal Life Today
- 22:00Speaker 6: at one eight hundred two five one fifty four hundred,
- 22:03Speaker 6: or visit Globelife radio dot com again. That's one eight
- 22:07Speaker 6: hundred two five one fifty four hundred or globelifradio dot
- 22:11Speaker 6: com coming up at the top of the hour. In
- 22:14Speaker 6: entertainment news, Donald Trump plans to celebrate a seventy ninth
- 22:17Speaker 6: birthday next month with the US Armies two hundred and
- 22:20Speaker 6: fiftieth year anniversary celebration. Whether they like it or not, Okay,
- 22:27Speaker 6: moving on to Paul Pierce. Paul Pierce thinks marriage is
- 22:31Speaker 6: for poor people and for old people. We'll talk about
- 22:34Speaker 6: that and we'll talk about how to tell yeah stupid. Yeah,
- 22:39Speaker 6: we'll talk about how to tell if someone is lying. Oh, Steve,
- 22:43Speaker 6: that's all coming up at the top of the hour.
- 22:45Speaker 6: Right now, it's time to ask the CLO our chief
- 22:49Speaker 6: Love Officer, Steve Harvey. This is from Tanji and Lake.
- 22:53Speaker 6: Charles Tangi writes, I was dating a guy that said
- 22:56Speaker 6: he used to be in a polyamorous relationship. When he
- 23:00Speaker 6: told me that, I broke it off because I feel
- 23:03Speaker 6: like he'll get bored in a monogamous situation. I may
- 23:07Speaker 6: have jumped the gun. Should I give him a chance
- 23:10Speaker 6: or not? What?
- 23:11Speaker 3: Well, first of all, I don't understand the admission of
- 23:17Speaker 3: flaws and stuff. You ain't have to bring that up.
- 23:21Speaker 3: But when a guy goes into that to tell you
- 23:23Speaker 3: that he's testing your uh boots the word palette to
- 23:29Speaker 3: billy tolerance for that level, and if you have a tolerance,
- 23:34Speaker 3: then yeah, he might could do it again. So I
- 23:38Speaker 3: think you did the right thing. I don't think you
- 23:41Speaker 3: jumped the gun, you know. Plus you didn't need to
- 23:44Speaker 3: find out if he's changed, you know, So.
- 23:48Speaker 6: Don't give him a chance. You're saying you're not you're gonna.
- 23:51Speaker 1: Give him a chance to do what You broke it
- 23:53Speaker 1: off for a reason. You ran for a reason.
- 23:56Speaker 3: In the words of Judge Lee and Tota, stop collecting
- 24:00Speaker 3: had flags, ladies, leave him in the ground.
- 24:03Speaker 6: I love that.
- 24:04Speaker 1: Yes, all right, thank you, Celo.
- 24:06Speaker 6: Moving on to Latasha and Jersey City, Latasha writes, I
- 24:10Speaker 6: had sex with my boss before he was my boss.
- 24:14Speaker 6: Now that he's over my team, it's awkward. I had
- 24:18Speaker 6: dinner with him and asked if he could be reassigned.
- 24:21Speaker 6: He talked to me like we were never intimate, and
- 24:23Speaker 6: I'm hurt. How do I handle him at work?
- 24:27Speaker 1: He your boss? Now, you know he ain't bringing it up. Yeah,
- 24:33Speaker 1: he keeps trying to keep it corporate.
- 24:35Speaker 3: Now, if y'all slept together before you were the boss
- 24:38Speaker 3: and you just put that on tape, then he cool.
- 24:41Speaker 3: Now that he's boss, he probably noticed can't happen. He
- 24:45Speaker 3: going buy the books now? And then it wasn't that good?
- 24:47Speaker 3: No way, So y'all didn't hear it one that?
- 24:53Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 24:55Speaker 1: Wow?
- 24:55Speaker 6: Like they were never intimate?
- 24:57Speaker 1: Yeah cold. Yeah.
- 25:00Speaker 6: She need to find another job, yeah, exactly, he could
- 25:05Speaker 6: be reassigned. You need to reassign yourself.
- 25:08Speaker 1: Yeah, all right. Moving on to.
- 25:12Speaker 6: Jerichas Jerrekas and Augusta Jerikas writes, my wife buys me
- 25:20Speaker 6: new clothes, and uh, I don't like them, and I've
- 25:24Speaker 6: asked her to stop trying to change me. I don't
- 25:26Speaker 6: like everything I see on her, but I'd never tell
- 25:29Speaker 6: her that. She said she's elevating my game. Would I
- 25:33Speaker 6: be wrong to return everything she has bought me?
- 25:39Speaker 1: Yeah? You got?
- 25:41Speaker 3: Yeah? What you gotta take that back and stop dressing
- 25:46Speaker 3: your hooks was like their babies, laying the clothes out
- 25:51Speaker 3: on the bed. You fit to wear anybody. Your husband
- 25:57Speaker 3: just said he don't even like everything you wear. Now
- 25:59Speaker 3: you bought him some clothes while she quit picking our clothes.
- 26:04Speaker 3: She is not the fashionis that she thinks she is.
- 26:07Speaker 6: Yeah, she says she's elevating his game. That's what she
- 26:10Speaker 6: told him, But she's not. He doesn't like it.
- 26:16Speaker 1: That's cold clothes out, like, yeah, put this on today.
- 26:28Speaker 6: But what if he would if so, if he was
- 26:30Speaker 6: a bad dresser and she was elevating his game, would
- 26:33Speaker 6: that be okay?
- 26:34Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 26:35Speaker 3: But if he don't know it, so you know, if
- 26:38Speaker 3: he don't know it that it's being elevated and he
- 26:41Speaker 3: don't feel that way. Still a person still has to
- 26:45Speaker 3: wear what they feel good in. That's part of what
- 26:47Speaker 3: dressing is. Whatever you wear, you want to feel good
- 26:51Speaker 3: in it. It might be the latest, latest style, and
- 26:54Speaker 3: it might you might think it looked good on me,
- 26:56Speaker 3: but if I don't feel good in it?
- 26:59Speaker 1: Yeah, what's she buying though? Though? She that's a bad
- 27:02Speaker 1: outfit from the Mitt Gala? What he got on?
- 27:08Speaker 3: All right?
- 27:09Speaker 6: Last one? Yeah? Last one? Colo. This is from Moe
- 27:14Speaker 6: and Henderson Mo Rights. I've been married twice and I've
- 27:18Speaker 6: been with my current girlfriend for almost four years. I'm
- 27:22Speaker 6: comfortable with how it's going. But she's younger and wants
- 27:26Speaker 6: to get married to impress her friends. Do I get
- 27:29Speaker 6: married against my will to keep my lady happy?
- 27:33Speaker 3: What if you get married against your will? It ain't
- 27:37Speaker 3: gonna work. No, it's not going to work. Yeah, this
- 27:43Speaker 3: is not an against your will type proposition.
- 27:46Speaker 6: I'm gonna just told you that right for life still dead, And.
- 27:48Speaker 3: I'm gonna tell you something. As soon as it got
- 27:50Speaker 3: against my will, I ended it.
- 27:53Speaker 1: You were out.
- 27:58Speaker 6: She's younger that will?
- 28:00Speaker 1: Yeah, problem?
- 28:01Speaker 6: Yeah, right exactly. I mean you know she's younger than
- 28:05Speaker 6: he is, Steve.
- 28:07Speaker 1: Yeah, you know.
- 28:10Speaker 3: She wants to get married you've done it twice, You've
- 28:12Speaker 3: had a bad experience, but you know you can get
- 28:17Speaker 3: it right.
- 28:19Speaker 6: How does he know that it's to impress her friends?
- 28:22Speaker 1: Well, well you know, I mean she done sayd that
- 28:25Speaker 1: all my other friends is married. I want to And
- 28:29Speaker 1: she's been with him for four years, four years.
- 28:32Speaker 6: She's expecting some time. Yeah, she's expecting something. This is
- 28:35Speaker 6: an investment for her.
- 28:37Speaker 1: It ain't go with that investment. Well, you just make
- 28:40Speaker 1: a bad investment.
- 28:42Speaker 3: Well you stop looking like that, because you can make
- 28:45Speaker 3: a bad investment.
- 28:47Speaker 9: Uh huh.
- 28:48Speaker 1: Time served does not mean you know you served relationship
- 28:54Speaker 1: four years?
- 28:55Speaker 6: Four years? She wants something out of it? Yeah, wow,
- 29:01Speaker 6: so he doesn't. It doesn't sound like he's he wants
- 29:03Speaker 6: to get married period, does he don't?
- 29:06Speaker 1: No, he doesn't. Yeah, like he's you don't want to
- 29:08Speaker 1: get married against his will?
- 29:10Speaker 3: Yeah, why don't you tell her that so she can
- 29:14Speaker 3: move on and find somebody her age that wants to
- 29:17Speaker 3: get married.
- 29:18Speaker 4: Well, he wants to take and Edith too, He wants
- 29:21Speaker 4: to keep her. She's like, I put in these four years,
- 29:24Speaker 4: Well what's happening here?
- 29:27Speaker 1: Understood?
- 29:28Speaker 3: And deserve at least, so she deserves to know, So
- 29:32Speaker 3: she should pin him up against the wall. Oh you know,
- 29:37Speaker 3: I mean, you know, with an ultimatum and just say, hey, look,
- 29:41Speaker 3: that's just a speech.
- 29:46Speaker 6: It's like, wait a minute, okay, but but he's asking
- 29:51Speaker 6: It sounds like he might be considering it a little bit, Colo,
- 29:54Speaker 6: because he said to but he's okay, to keep my
- 29:59Speaker 6: lady happy. What did you mean by that?
- 30:02Speaker 1: Well, try to give her what she wants. But if
- 30:06Speaker 1: it ain't what you want, it's misery.
- 30:10Speaker 6: Yeah, okay, all right, Colo, thank you as always great advice.
- 30:17Speaker 6: Coming up at the top of the hour, we'll have
- 30:19Speaker 6: some entertainment news for you on the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 30:22Speaker 6: Right after this less of It's DJ Cady. This your boy,
- 30:27Speaker 6: Chris Breath. Hey, this is Keisha cole Gos.
- 30:29Speaker 1: People, this is Kirk Franklin. Hey, this is John Legend.
- 30:31Speaker 1: And you listen to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 30:34Speaker 6: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, the US Army
- 30:42Speaker 6: is celebrating its two hundred and fiftieth anniversary coming up
- 30:46Speaker 6: on June fourteenth, and guess what. It also happens to
- 30:50Speaker 6: be President Donald Trump's seventy ninth birthday. This is according
- 30:55Speaker 6: to Newsweek. Now the White House wants to do a
- 30:57Speaker 6: big military parade in Washington, d C. To celebrate the president.
- 31:04Speaker 6: The army huh what that called? Oh, it's going to
- 31:07Speaker 6: be a lot. It's tax a lot. Yeah, you know
- 31:10Speaker 6: the tax.
- 31:10Speaker 1: Well they got the money, they don't cut out the
- 31:12Speaker 1: VA programs.
- 31:13Speaker 6: Yeah, there you go.
- 31:16Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 31:16Speaker 6: The army already had tentative plans to celebrate its anniversary,
- 31:20Speaker 6: but it looks like they will have to share the
- 31:22Speaker 6: celebration by having a parade through the heart of DC.
- 31:25Speaker 6: The plan calls for six thousand, six hundred soldiers marching,
- 31:30Speaker 6: helicopters and armored vehicles. The events here you go, Tommy
- 31:34Speaker 6: ninety two million dollar price tag. Ninety two million dollar
- 31:39Speaker 6: price tag and potential damage to the roads with heavy
- 31:43Speaker 6: military equipment. Might scale back the planning, or it might
- 31:46Speaker 6: cancel it all.
- 31:47Speaker 1: We even got that in the bank. We ain't even
- 31:49Speaker 1: got that. Who had got that? Let me ask you
- 31:53Speaker 1: something one if you had to really guess what is
- 31:56Speaker 1: America's critics go? What is our critics go Forreer? Well,
- 32:00Speaker 1: we got a lot of debt. Credit score is trillion trillion.
- 32:05Speaker 1: We got like a five hundred credits go.
- 32:14Speaker 4: But it's just like Steve said a little while ago,
- 32:17Speaker 4: you know, you want to throw a parade for your
- 32:19Speaker 4: birthday and celebrate the army, but you cut out benefits
- 32:22Speaker 4: for the veterans, you laid them off.
- 32:24Speaker 1: So which one is it?
- 32:25Speaker 4: You want to celebrate them and help them live and survive?
- 32:30Speaker 5: Right?
- 32:30Speaker 6: And you know he got the idea when he saw
- 32:33Speaker 6: Kim Jong un and the military, how they performed there
- 32:36Speaker 6: and all that. Yes, that's where this is all coming from.
- 32:40Speaker 3: Yeah, and who Now, I was just saying, that's who
- 32:43Speaker 3: they voted for. So you're getting what you voted for.
- 32:46Speaker 3: Y'all getting cut he getting celebrated.
- 32:49Speaker 6: Uh huh.
- 32:50Speaker 1: Yeah, military ain't said nothing, but they wanted the party
- 32:54Speaker 1: with you.
- 32:56Speaker 6: They got to share. They didn't want to share this day.
- 33:00Speaker 6: They're two hundred and fifty years old. He's seventy nine.
- 33:03Speaker 6: All right, we got to get to this one. Moving
- 33:05Speaker 6: on Boston Celtic's legend. Paul Tierce has always said just
- 33:11Speaker 6: what's on his mind, and this time he's speaking on
- 33:14Speaker 6: marriage and he's speaking on what it means to him
- 33:18Speaker 6: and his comments went viral on its Truth After Dark show.
- 33:23Speaker 6: Pierce said that marriage has no advantages for men. That
- 33:26Speaker 6: was the first thing. He said, no advantages for men.
- 33:30Speaker 6: He said that only poor people and old people get married.
- 33:35Speaker 6: This is what he said out of his mouth. He said,
- 33:38Speaker 6: so you poor, you marry for that. Paul Pierce said
- 33:42Speaker 6: that poor people get married and put their money together
- 33:45Speaker 6: and have kids so the kids can grow up and
- 33:47Speaker 6: make money for the household. Now, he went on to
- 33:50Speaker 6: say that when you get old, somebody's got to be
- 33:53Speaker 6: at your side to take care of you. So that's
- 33:56Speaker 6: why old people get married. He added that his mother
- 34:00Speaker 6: got married for the first time when she was seventy
- 34:02Speaker 6: years old, and quote, she had somebody by her side
- 34:06Speaker 6: the whole way through your thoughts.
- 34:10Speaker 1: Everybody don't need a podcast, everybody.
- 34:14Speaker 3: That's what.
- 34:16Speaker 1: Really, That's what I got to take away. Yeah, I
- 34:19Speaker 1: just don't understand why he has one.
- 34:22Speaker 9: Uh huh.
- 34:23Speaker 1: You know that's not a solid statement.
- 34:26Speaker 3: The sad part of about it is, though, no matter
- 34:29Speaker 3: who you are, you can get anybody to go along
- 34:32Speaker 3: with something that anybody says stupid, and there are people
- 34:35Speaker 3: are going I agree with you, yeah, but it's stupid.
- 34:39Speaker 6: He said that marriage has no advantages for men.
- 34:43Speaker 1: Marriage.
- 34:44Speaker 3: The greatest advantage to be married as a man is
- 34:47Speaker 3: you cannot be great without a woman again living proof.
- 34:52Speaker 1: Yeah, he made you point.
- 34:58Speaker 6: Please repeat that.
- 35:00Speaker 1: You cannot be great without a woman. Yeah, you just can't.
- 35:05Speaker 1: Behind every great man, there is a greater woman. Say that.
- 35:10Speaker 2: Yessah.
- 35:11Speaker 1: It just doesn't matter, man, what you're talking about.
- 35:15Speaker 3: Now for him to make that statement and use his
- 35:18Speaker 3: mom as an example that she got married in first
- 35:21Speaker 3: time in her seventies, for somebody to be here if
- 35:24Speaker 3: that's your one example, the one raarranty, I very rarely
- 35:29Speaker 3: hear of a woman getting married the first time in seventies.
- 35:32Speaker 3: And please understand, I'm not talking about his mom in
- 35:34Speaker 3: a negative way at all.
- 35:36Speaker 1: I'm not that guy.
- 35:38Speaker 3: So that's not what I'm saying. But the statement that
- 35:41Speaker 3: he made has no advantages for a man. That's not true.
- 35:45Speaker 1: Family is still.
- 35:47Speaker 6: Important everything everything.
- 35:50Speaker 3: Carla has a husband love, they have a daughter that
- 35:54Speaker 3: they raised together. They have a home that they built together,
- 35:58Speaker 3: they have a life that they make together.
- 36:00Speaker 1: Yes, that's what they're doing, Yes, sir, that's what marriage is. Man.
- 36:06Speaker 3: And for you to sit there like what you're saying
- 36:08Speaker 3: is brilliant. What you said, it is stupid.
- 36:12Speaker 6: Shock value statements. Okay, so he said it has no
- 36:15Speaker 6: advantages for men. Then he went on to say that
- 36:18Speaker 6: only poor people and old people get married.
- 36:21Speaker 2: What is that?
- 36:22Speaker 3: I know a lot of rich people married. Yeah, yeah,
- 36:26Speaker 3: you are one of them. Is talking Robert Smith got married?
- 36:31Speaker 3: Yeah he got thirteen billion.
- 36:33Speaker 6: Yeah, And there was a there was it was it
- 36:36Speaker 6: had gone viral. I guess a couple of weeks ago,
- 36:38Speaker 6: a few weeks ago, Steve where this very rich man
- 36:41Speaker 6: on Instagram was saying the most important decision that a
- 36:45Speaker 6: man could make is who he chooses for a mate,
- 36:49Speaker 6: and he was very rich.
- 36:51Speaker 1: Nui Mohammed gave the best statement I've ever made.
- 36:54Speaker 3: Outside of your relationship with God, the person you choose
- 36:57Speaker 3: to spend the rest of your life with is the
- 36:59Speaker 3: most important decision that you will make. Yeah, why are
- 37:02Speaker 3: y'all listening to Paul Pierce?
- 37:03Speaker 1: Is paula married? Has Paul or ever been married? All?
- 37:07Speaker 6: Okay, all right, all right, there you go, all right,
- 37:11Speaker 6: coming up, Thank you guys. Coming up in twenty minutes
- 37:14Speaker 6: after Junior is in the building with a Mother's Day
- 37:18Speaker 6: special poem for us. Right after this, I have to
- 37:22Speaker 6: you're listening Steve Hardy Morning.

- 56:52Speaker 6: Subject. I'm in love with a beautiful liar. J Stephen Shirley.
- 56:57Speaker 6: My girlfriend is a liar and I keep catching her
- 57:01Speaker 6: telling lies about the smallest stuff. When we met, she
- 57:04Speaker 6: lied to me about where she lived, like I wasn't
- 57:07Speaker 6: going to ever see where she really lives. She explained
- 57:10Speaker 6: that she was embarrassed because she lives with she still
- 57:13Speaker 6: lives with her parents. I got past that lie, and
- 57:16Speaker 6: I made sure she's comfortable at my house. But the
- 57:19Speaker 6: lies continue, and I had to pump the brakes. Even
- 57:22Speaker 6: though I told everybody she was going to be my wife.
- 57:25Speaker 6: She had weave for the first eight months, and I
- 57:28Speaker 6: had no idea it wasn't her hair. I'm a barber,
- 57:32Speaker 6: so I'm not sure why she tried to hide it
- 57:34Speaker 6: from me. I know not to touch a woman's head,
- 57:37Speaker 6: so so I know not to touch a woman's head,
- 57:40Speaker 6: so I didn't know. She also has had a breath
- 57:45Speaker 6: lift and was bragging about them like she was just
- 57:48Speaker 6: blessed to still have perky boobs at her age. She
- 57:51Speaker 6: had to tell me after I discovered a scar I
- 57:54Speaker 6: overlook a lot. After eight months of dating, she told
- 57:57Speaker 6: me that she has terrible credit and she has filed
- 58:00Speaker 6: for bankruptcy. I'm cool with all of that, but I've
- 58:03Speaker 6: been open and honest with her. She knows that I
- 58:06Speaker 6: have financial issues from time to time as a business owner,
- 58:09Speaker 6: and she always says she has my back and she's
- 58:12Speaker 6: got a lot of money saved. Even though I don't
- 58:15Speaker 6: need her money. I don't understand why she lied like
- 58:18Speaker 6: she's got it. Her sister came over for dinner Sunday
- 58:22Speaker 6: and she said, my girl is a fake it till
- 58:24Speaker 6: she makes it, till you make a queen. I need
- 58:27Speaker 6: to fully understand who I'm dating. So I sat her
- 58:30Speaker 6: down to talk to her. She said there are no
- 58:32Speaker 6: more secrets. Then today she called and said that we
- 58:36Speaker 6: need to talk. We are not going to make it
- 58:38Speaker 6: if she keeps on lying to me. This is really
- 58:41Speaker 6: bothering me. How do I work things out with this
- 58:43Speaker 6: beautiful liar? Okay, first of all, you guys have only
- 58:47Speaker 6: been together for eight months. Nobody's going to just tell
- 58:51Speaker 6: you everything's filled their guts in the first eight months.
- 58:54Speaker 6: I mean, your letter is clear. It sounds like you
- 58:56Speaker 6: don't like liars, and you would love it if this
- 58:59Speaker 6: woman would just come clean and be honest with you.
- 59:02Speaker 6: But you're putting up with it, right You said you
- 59:04Speaker 6: got past the little things. The question is why you
- 59:07Speaker 6: know if you're so set on you don't like liars.
- 59:10Speaker 6: I think the answer here is pretty pretty simple. You
- 59:13Speaker 6: put up with her lies because she's beautiful, plain and simple,
- 59:18Speaker 6: or Steve and the guys on the show say she fine, dogs,
- 59:21Speaker 6: she fine, and you, sir, just can't get past the fineness.
- 59:25Speaker 6: Lies in all beauty. Fineness cover up a multitude of sins,
- 59:29Speaker 6: according to this philosophy, to that philosophy. But you say
- 59:33Speaker 6: you want the truth. It sounds like she is giving
- 59:35Speaker 6: you truth. She's just given it to you on a
- 59:38Speaker 6: need to know basis. Like I said, you guys have
- 59:40Speaker 6: been together, not that that long. So what if she
- 59:47Speaker 6: didn't tell you she wears a weave? Does she have
- 59:49Speaker 6: to tell you that? I mean, so what if she
- 59:51Speaker 6: didn't tell you she had a breast lift in the
- 59:53Speaker 6: past breast I don't understand why she has to tell
- 59:56Speaker 6: you that. Is she supposed to tell you everything that
- 59:58Speaker 6: happened to her in her high life, the credit and bankruptcy,
- 1:00:02Speaker 6: bankruptcy stuff. She did tell you. She was open and
- 1:00:06Speaker 6: honest about that, I mean, all of her personal stuff.
- 1:00:10Speaker 6: She doesn't owe you that. But you got to know
- 1:00:14Speaker 6: that a woman needs to feel safe and secure before
- 1:00:17Speaker 6: she just starts, like I said, spilling her guts and
- 1:00:20Speaker 6: opening up to a man like that. Does she feel
- 1:00:23Speaker 6: and are you a safe place for her? Will you
- 1:00:25Speaker 6: not use it against her? At some point she's got to,
- 1:00:28Speaker 6: you know, be sure about these things, and even then
- 1:00:31Speaker 6: she might still take some of the things to her grave.
- 1:00:34Speaker 6: So that's what you're dealing with, Steve.
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: Thank you, Shirley. I don't know where you got this
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: crazy and response from you just gave up. Are you
- 1:00:43Speaker 3: siding with this woman because she's a liar. She's a liar.
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: You who always ask me why do me?
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: And lie? You who asked me why I lie?
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: And then funny set up here on this show, supported
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: a liar.
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: She is lying?
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: Shut it?
- 1:01:05Speaker 6: I know, Yeah, you're the expert.
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: Why would you.
- 1:01:10Speaker 3: Sit up here act like this woman ain't lying because
- 1:01:12Speaker 3: you're trying to justify she don't owe you this and
- 1:01:15Speaker 3: she don't owe you that souse.
- 1:01:16Speaker 6: She didn't tell him she wore a weave. She's a liar.
- 1:01:19Speaker 6: Come on, did he ask her?
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: It's so many times did woman lie? Let me just
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: go on me just my girlfriend is.
- 1:01:28Speaker 3: A liar and I keep catching her telling lies about
- 1:01:31Speaker 3: the smallest stuff.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: When we met, she lied about where she lived.
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: She explained to you after you busted up and she
- 1:01:40Speaker 3: was embassed, and she still lived with her parents, so
- 1:01:43Speaker 3: she lied and said she had her own place I
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: got past that made sure she was comfortable at his house.
- 1:01:51Speaker 3: But the liars continue, and I had to pump the brakes.
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: Even though I told everybody she was gonna be my wife.
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: He thought he had a good thing.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: She's had weave for eight.
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: Months that I had no idea. It wasn't her hair.
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: I'm a barber, so I'm not sure why she tried
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: to hide it from you. Well, most women try to
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: hide the fact that it's a weave because that's the
- 1:02:11Speaker 3: idea is you want to make it look like it's
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: your hair.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: Everybody tried to hide it.
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: If you weren't gonna hide the weave, you wouldn't worry
- 1:02:19Speaker 3: about what them tracks was. You would actually do your
- 1:02:25Speaker 3: hair in your cubicle if you wasn't trying to hide it.
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: Everybody hides the fact that it's hot hair.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: Or weave or an extension or a wig. Then you said,
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: I know not to touch woman's heads, so I didn't know. Okay, cool,
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: that ain't no problem.
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: She also had a breast lift and was bragging about
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: them like she was blessed to still have perky boobs
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: at her age.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: Then you discover the scar she lied about that just
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: be grateful that she got to brush jb okay with
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: the big deal some gratitude here.
- 1:03:06Speaker 6: Okay, we'll have part two of your response coming up
- 1:03:09Speaker 6: at twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry letter
- 1:03:13Speaker 6: subject is I'm in love with a beautiful Liar. We'll
- 1:03:15Speaker 6: get back into it right after this. You're listening Stave
- 1:03:19Speaker 6: Hardy Morning Show. You've heard us talk about the benefits
- 1:03:27Speaker 6: of Globe Life insurance. Globe Life has been protecting families

- 1:03:44Speaker 6: one fifty four hundred, or visit Globelife radio dot com again.
- 1:03:48Speaker 6: That's one eight hundred two five one fifty four hundred
- 1:03:51Speaker 6: or Globelife radio dot com. All right, come on, Steve,
- 1:03:55Speaker 6: let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject is I'm in
- 1:03:58Speaker 6: love with a beautiful.
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: Well, she lied about where she lived at first because
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: she was embarrassed, and she stayed with her pa. Now
- 1:04:07Speaker 3: the part about it, she didn't tell you she had
- 1:04:09Speaker 3: a weave. You said, you're a barber, you not to
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: know not to touch people's heads, so you didn't discover it.
- 1:04:15Speaker 3: And it lasted eight months. So she did a good
- 1:04:17Speaker 3: job of concealing it, which is the idea of a
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: weave is to conceal it to make it look like
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: it's real. Now, she was talking about her breast being perky,
- 1:04:28Speaker 3: and you thought she should have told you that she
- 1:04:31Speaker 3: had a breast lift. But you discovered it by because
- 1:04:34Speaker 3: you found a little scar. Quit looking under them, stay
- 1:04:38Speaker 3: on the top and in the front where you belong.
- 1:04:44Speaker 3: You're picking stuff off, looking all up under the bottom
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: of leave. That's why a scar had Leave it alone,
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: all right, Now, that wasn't a problem. Then after most
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: of Dayton, she told you she had terrible credit. She
- 1:04:58Speaker 3: filed for bankrupt You said, I'm cool with that. Now
- 1:05:01Speaker 3: you're cool with the weed, you're cool with the perky breast,
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: and now you're cool.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: With the bankrupts.
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: She knows that I'm financially lit you from timetime because
- 1:05:11Speaker 3: I'm a business owner. She says she got a lot
- 1:05:13Speaker 3: of money, saying, even though I don't need her money,
- 1:05:17Speaker 3: I don't understand why she lied like she got it.
- 1:05:21Speaker 3: Her sister came over for dinner and suddenly and said,
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: my girl is a faking till you making queen. I
- 1:05:27Speaker 3: need to fully understand who I'm dating. So I set
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: her down to talk to it. She said, ain't no
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: more secrets. Then today she called and said, we need
- 1:05:38Speaker 3: to talk. My name is not really.
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: When it's Calvin. I don't know where this is going, dog.
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: I don't know what she want to talk to you
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: about today, but it's gonna be shocking. We are not
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: going to make it if she keeps lying to me.
- 1:06:01Speaker 3: This has really bothering me. How do I work things
- 1:06:03Speaker 3: out with this beautiful life?
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: Well, I'll follow you.
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: I would get out now because the lies are going
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: to keep coming. A lying woman is a problem.
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: A lying man is a problem unless the man lies
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: with a purpose. You have gotten to start attaching these
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: lies to purpose. What was the purpose?
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: Sure?
- 1:06:41Speaker 6: What was her purpose for lying?
- 1:06:43Speaker 3: She don't want to know, didn't want to know. That's
- 1:06:46Speaker 3: not that's not a purpose. Lying with the purpose you
- 1:06:49Speaker 3: have to have a deeper cause.
- 1:06:52Speaker 6: No, no, if you're lying, I.
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: Just told Charlotte, you can't tell me what the rules is.
- 1:06:57Speaker 3: You're not a lying I'm telling what the rules are
- 1:07:02Speaker 3: of So kate to lie. If you lie with the purpose,
- 1:07:08Speaker 3: that's why you lie. Surely you can't tell me you
- 1:07:13Speaker 3: claim not to lie what you do.
- 1:07:16Speaker 6: Well, everybody I busted you in liest year, I busted
- 1:07:20Speaker 6: you in. Everybody lis Everybody faked it till they make it?
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: What are you talking about?
- 1:07:26Speaker 6: Everybody does that. These lives aren't major. She got a weave,
- 1:07:29Speaker 6: she had a breath lift, and.
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: I'm not I didn't think she lied about the weave.
- 1:07:34Speaker 3: I think she concealed the fact that she was wearing
- 1:07:37Speaker 3: a weave, as it's the purpose of having a weed
- 1:07:40Speaker 3: to conceal it.
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: So that's okay, that's not really a lie.
- 1:07:44Speaker 6: But he was mad about that.
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: The guy, well, he said, why didn't she tell her?
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: But he bob, he ain't know.
- 1:07:54Speaker 3: This litter is confusing. So the only thing she didne
- 1:07:57Speaker 3: lied about really is her finances. She lied about her boobs.
- 1:08:01Speaker 3: She was lucky to have perky boobs at that age.
- 1:08:04Speaker 3: She probably is now she ain't have. She ain't tell
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: you how she got them perky. But you are all
- 1:08:11Speaker 3: up under that lifting stuff up, just staying in front
- 1:08:13Speaker 3: and on top like you poke.
- 1:08:16Speaker 6: That's the best thing that I got from your rea.
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: You look at all under that foe leave law.
- 1:08:23Speaker 6: That's the best right there.
- 1:08:26Speaker 3: But I really I was gonna say you need to
- 1:08:29Speaker 3: break up with her, but really, dog, y'all just need
- 1:08:32Speaker 3: to get it all out.
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: Even when you get it out, there's gonna be some
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: more lines.
- 1:08:38Speaker 6: So that's just it. And if she feels safe, I
- 1:08:42Speaker 6: mean they've been dating eight months.
- 1:08:44Speaker 3: Nothing ain't no safe because it just keeps like. Let
- 1:08:48Speaker 3: me show you how to lie with the purpose. Ask
- 1:08:50Speaker 3: me a question.
- 1:08:52Speaker 6: Okay, is that your real mustache? Is that the real color?
- 1:08:56Speaker 6: No gray?
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: Oh? Of course, it's the real color. It's really black.
- 1:09:04Speaker 6: But I mean, you know if you don't put any
- 1:09:06Speaker 6: color in it or anything.
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: No, see, listen to what I said. It is the
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: real color. It's real black. It's real.
- 1:09:12Speaker 3: That's the color that's only just for me. Don't get
- 1:09:15Speaker 3: jet black because then you look like you use to
- 1:09:19Speaker 3: do them commercial on the informercial them dudes that be
- 1:09:21Speaker 3: wearing that jet black hat.
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: Get real black.
- 1:09:24Speaker 6: Uh huh?
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: And idiot? Is that's done? I just told you see
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: how lied with a purpose.
- 1:09:29Speaker 6: Next question, so how tall.
- 1:09:30Speaker 3: Are you are you?
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: I'm very tall?
- 1:09:34Speaker 6: Well, I know you're very.
- 1:09:35Speaker 3: Tall, But are you like I'm taller than the average man. Okay,
- 1:09:39Speaker 3: so see we have two average men on the show.
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: Very average.
- 1:09:46Speaker 6: Well, are you like six three or six four?
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: Tim? I'm seventy five.

- 1:10:17Speaker 6: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve,
- 1:10:24Speaker 6: This is from Dede in Tallahassee. Dede says, I got
- 1:10:28Speaker 6: a speeding ticket and my husband took my keys from me.
- 1:10:32Speaker 6: He said, I cause the insurance to go up and
- 1:10:35Speaker 6: I don't deserve to drive. How can he be so
- 1:10:38Speaker 6: critical of my driving when I was headed to the
- 1:10:40Speaker 6: school to get his sick child, not mine. I do
- 1:10:45Speaker 6: everything for that boy, and I sat in the urgent
- 1:10:48Speaker 6: care clinic for three hours with him after I got
- 1:10:51Speaker 6: the speeding ticket. He's ungrateful and treats me like I'm
- 1:10:55Speaker 6: a child should I get my keys back from him
- 1:10:57Speaker 6: and speed out of his life, Speed on out of
- 1:11:00Speaker 6: his life.
- 1:11:01Speaker 3: Well, you can't be treated like a child. That's once
- 1:11:04Speaker 3: again she was doing something with a purpose. If it
- 1:11:08Speaker 3: has purpose to it, it's allowable. She was speeding to
- 1:11:12Speaker 3: get the boy who was called in sick in school,
- 1:11:14Speaker 3: took him to emergency care. Now he gonna take the keys.
- 1:11:17Speaker 3: Something about you that ran up to the inshoreance?
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: Who the hell you think he is? This is your girlfriend,
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: This is not your child.
- 1:11:24Speaker 3: If you're being treated like a child, you gottah man, kater.
- 1:11:31Speaker 6: Yeah, should take my keys from me?
- 1:11:33Speaker 3: No, let him come ride with Jackie for a day.
- 1:11:37Speaker 3: Come ride with Jackie. I bet you ain't ready for that.
- 1:11:39Speaker 6: But what does that mean? Tommy?
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: My wife be speeding?
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: Boy?
- 1:11:44Speaker 6: God like fast cars?
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: Who could? Yeah?
- 1:11:52Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 1:11:53Speaker 4: Like, hey your baby boy by so.
- 1:11:57Speaker 6: So her question is should he get her Should she
- 1:12:00Speaker 6: get her keys back from him and speed on out
- 1:12:02Speaker 6: of his life?
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: I don't know if you should leave him, but you
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: got to quit letting him treat you like a child.
- 1:12:07Speaker 6: Yeah, controlling, he asked.
- 1:12:09Speaker 3: So all you got to do is stop sleeping with him,
- 1:12:11Speaker 3: because why are you over here sleeping with babes.
- 1:12:13Speaker 6: Whoo okay, that put a button on it. All right,
- 1:12:19Speaker 6: we have time for another one. This is from Ava
- 1:12:22Speaker 6: in the DMV. Ava says, the guy that I just
- 1:12:26Speaker 6: met bought me an expensive purse, and I took a
- 1:12:28Speaker 6: picture and posted it with something special in the caption.
- 1:12:33Speaker 6: He saw the picture and told me to delete it.
- 1:12:36Speaker 6: He said he doesn't want to look like he's a trick,
- 1:12:39Speaker 6: meaning he blows money on women. I did not mention
- 1:12:42Speaker 6: him or tag him. My mom said he might have
- 1:12:45Speaker 6: given his wife the same purse, so that's why he
- 1:12:48Speaker 6: told me to delete my post. It was my mom's
- 1:12:51Speaker 6: shady way of asking if he's married. He said, he
- 1:12:54Speaker 6: is not married. Why does she always hate on the
- 1:12:57Speaker 6: new guys I meet?
- 1:13:00Speaker 3: You keep meeting new guys. Ain't none of them stuck
- 1:13:05Speaker 3: your track record?
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: Now you with another dude?
- 1:13:08Speaker 3: Because maybe she know that you was messing around with
- 1:13:11Speaker 3: another married dude.
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: Maybe she know your picker is off.
- 1:13:14Speaker 3: Maybe your mama is making these comments because these are
- 1:13:17Speaker 3: comments you all end up making. Anyway, he might have
- 1:13:21Speaker 3: got the same way. He says he's not married. Have
- 1:13:24Speaker 3: you checked it out? It's easy to check, ladies.
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: Do your research.
- 1:13:28Speaker 3: You have tools that you're disposable now that can keep
- 1:13:30Speaker 3: you from fining. You can find out so much about
- 1:13:32Speaker 3: a guy on social media, so much about a guy
- 1:13:35Speaker 3: on Google.
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: Use your research tools.
- 1:13:38Speaker 6: Yeah, because he said he's not married. He told her
- 1:13:42Speaker 6: he wasn't married.
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: That's easy. You need to find out.
- 1:13:44Speaker 6: Yeah, she needs to research further. Yeah, all right, so
- 1:13:48Speaker 6: her mom's not hating him.
- 1:13:49Speaker 3: Get his address and google it. It will tell you
- 1:13:53Speaker 3: who stayed there.
- 1:13:56Speaker 6: It sure will drive by thess. Wait a minute, now,
- 1:14:03Speaker 6: he did buy her purse, she said, So she wants
- 1:14:05Speaker 6: to keep him right.
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: What kind of person were talking?
- 1:14:09Speaker 6: She said? Expensive? Perse expensive? All right, so she wants
- 1:14:16Speaker 6: to keep him hostage.
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: I mean, I'm just you just got to do your research,
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: that's all. You got another one.
- 1:14:25Speaker 6: And if it turns out, if it turns out that.
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: I don't know what, you.
- 1:14:33Speaker 3: Trying to drag this out for another one.
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: We're trying to turn this into something. I have said
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: everything I need to say that.
- 1:14:41Speaker 3: Like, we're not still on the radio, No, we're done.
- 1:14:45Speaker 3: Next either that, do your research. You have tools at
- 1:14:51Speaker 3: you're disposal. Stop believing in these foods, ladies and gentlemen.
- 1:14:57Speaker 3: That's my answer to seeing you on the next.
- 1:14:59Speaker 6: Break coming up at twenty minutes after the hour, we'll
- 1:15:03Speaker 6: have more of this ignorant show right after this. You're

- 1:15:22Speaker 1: It's too late for me to do it. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: I would never do that.
- 1:15:30Speaker 6: Well, what it is is a challenge to go thirty
- 1:15:32Speaker 6: one days without eating any meat. Okay, yeah, we're already
- 1:15:38Speaker 6: into the first week of May. Yeah, oh okay. The
- 1:15:42Speaker 6: website No Meatmay dot org has a free cookbook. It
- 1:15:46Speaker 6: has recipes and meal plans to help you succeed at
- 1:15:50Speaker 6: this challenge. But No Meatmate challenges creators understand that everyone
- 1:15:55Speaker 6: cannot commit to a full month without meat, so those
- 1:15:59Speaker 6: participants are in hurgs to take baby steps and try
- 1:16:02Speaker 6: to challenge part time. Uh, try to challenge part time
- 1:16:06Speaker 6: by going meatless for a few days a week, or
- 1:16:08Speaker 6: try plant based options that taste like meat. You know,
- 1:16:11Speaker 6: there's some great.

- 1:17:15Speaker 3: the United States over the next three years that will
- 1:17:18Speaker 3: expand manufacturing and create more jobs for Americans.
- 1:17:21Speaker 8: And they just announced that they will not be raising
- 1:17:24Speaker 8: MSRP through June second, no matter what.

- 1:18:48Speaker 3: I totally knew was soup. It was a hot dog water.
- 1:18:50Speaker 3: I eat all the hot dogs and give him the
- 1:18:53Speaker 3: soup with some crackers. My little bringing was just terrible.
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: You don't actually need therapy.

- 1:19:09Speaker 6: with the lake, I'm going with the lake, lake, Junior.
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: Yeah, with the lake. I'm not no, I don't know. Okay,
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: great grease on your face? Would you rather? I said?
- 1:19:21Speaker 6: He Oh yeah, he didn't say, what is it? What
- 1:19:24Speaker 6: do I dog water? Or would you rather wash your
- 1:19:26Speaker 6: face with hot dog water or water from the lake.
- 1:19:29Speaker 3: Well, that's what it feels like sometimes I'm gonna wash
- 1:19:36Speaker 3: my face with the hot dog water.
- 1:19:39Speaker 6: The water from the lake. Okay, well, thank you, thank
- 1:19:42Speaker 6: you for participating in your own show. All right, all right,
- 1:19:48Speaker 6: would you rather wear all your pants too short? Or
- 1:19:50Speaker 6: would you rather wear all of your pants too long?

- 1:20:20Speaker 5: No, No, that wall.
- 1:20:22Speaker 6: To your uncle. The show the show about short. No,
- 1:20:30Speaker 6: don't get mad at me. That's miss Blake's anger at him.

- 1:20:57Speaker 6: Morning Show.
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: Yo, this is Jamie Fox, this is Kim White.
- 1:21:04Speaker 3: You already know what it is measurement chiego bean, and

- 1:21:41Speaker 6: All right, guys, here we are last break of the
- 1:21:43Speaker 6: day on this Wednesday hump Day.
- 1:21:46Speaker 3: Steve, Yeah, my closing remarks are this, who you are
- 1:21:50Speaker 3: going to be, what you are going to become, what
- 1:21:54Speaker 3: you hope for. All of this is based solely on
- 1:22:00Speaker 3: decisions that you will make. So choose all of your
- 1:22:06Speaker 3: decisions wisely. I wish I understood this as a younger man,
- 1:22:14Speaker 3: and I'm so trying to get my sons to understand
- 1:22:17Speaker 3: this and daughters that decisions you're making right now will
- 1:22:23Speaker 3: affect your future. You know, it actually begins in the
- 1:22:27Speaker 3: ninth grade. When you're in the ninth grade, they start
- 1:22:31Speaker 3: keeping track of your grades. They let kindergarten through eight go,
- 1:22:36Speaker 3: but from nine, ten, eleven, and twelve they start accumulating
- 1:22:41Speaker 3: the grade point because that's gonna determine the GPA, will
- 1:22:46Speaker 3: determine your ability to get into higher education college.
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: So it starts then.
- 1:22:53Speaker 3: So they start at a young age training you that
- 1:22:56Speaker 3: the decisions you make now will affect your tomorrow. Well,
- 1:23:00Speaker 3: it becomes even more important once you're done with school
- 1:23:05Speaker 3: because now everything you do it's counting. Everything you do matters.
- 1:23:13Speaker 3: You can stop thinking just because you're young, it don't matter.
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: It matters.
- 1:23:19Speaker 3: What you do at twenty has something to do with
- 1:23:22Speaker 3: twenty five. What you do at twenty five has something
- 1:23:25Speaker 3: to do with thirty. Maybe not directly, but indirectly it
- 1:23:29Speaker 3: will affect you. I was listening to We were doing
- 1:23:35Speaker 3: a story earlier today about the basketball player Paul Pierce,
- 1:23:39Speaker 3: and he has a podcast and this podcast he said
- 1:23:42Speaker 3: that marriage is for old people and poor people. Now.
- 1:23:50Speaker 3: Earth winter Fire said it best in the song it said,
- 1:23:53Speaker 3: You're always going to find a few to walk with you.
- 1:23:56Speaker 3: I don't care what you say online. You can find
- 1:23:59Speaker 3: some to agree with you. Now, Paul Pierce, who is
- 1:24:06Speaker 3: not married, you are now listening and taking advice from
- 1:24:10Speaker 3: somebody who's never done it and has justified why he
- 1:24:15Speaker 3: won't do it because marriage is for old people and
- 1:24:18Speaker 3: poor people.
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: What That don't make no sense? That just doesn't. But
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: if that's how he's thinking, it will affect his tomorrow.
- 1:24:33Speaker 3: And when Paul Pierce gets at an age where he's
- 1:24:36Speaker 3: gonna have want to have somebody by his side, You've
- 1:24:40Speaker 3: got to remember that when you were younger, you made
- 1:24:42Speaker 3: these certain decisions that didn't that prohibited somebody from being
- 1:24:45Speaker 3: by your side. So now your pool of selecting who
- 1:24:48Speaker 3: will be by your side is going to lessen.
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: The older you get.
- 1:24:53Speaker 3: Your decisions that you make today will have something to
- 1:24:56Speaker 3: do with your tomorrow. So choose wisely. Nuri Mohammad said
- 1:25:02Speaker 3: it best. He said, outside of your relationship with God,
- 1:25:06Speaker 3: the most important decision that you will ever make in
- 1:25:08Speaker 3: your life is who you choose to spend the rest
- 1:25:10Speaker 3: of your life with. That's an important decision.
- 1:25:16Speaker 8: Now.
- 1:25:16Speaker 3: I've gotten it wrong a couple of times, I really have,
- 1:25:20Speaker 3: and I've learned in my life that sometimes.
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: You got to get it wrong to get it right.
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: But what I do not do. I do not allow
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: my past to determine my future either.
- 1:25:32Speaker 3: When you make a mistake, as you will and oftentimes may,
- 1:25:36Speaker 3: you have the right to correct them.
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: You have the right to get them right. Now.
- 1:25:43Speaker 3: Had I made smarter decisions earlier, I wouldn't have had
- 1:25:46Speaker 3: to right so much. But I made a lot of mistakes,
- 1:25:51Speaker 3: a lot. I have made more mistakes than I've gotten
- 1:25:54Speaker 3: it right. But listen to me, You only need a
- 1:25:59Speaker 3: couple of in life, y'all. So stop letting the disappointments
- 1:26:04Speaker 3: and the setbacks and the mistakes bury you, because you
- 1:26:07Speaker 3: only need a one win.
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: Of all the mistakes you've made, you just need one win.
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: You need one of them to hit.
- 1:26:17Speaker 3: A baseball player becomes a multi millionaire by having success
- 1:26:23Speaker 3: at the plate three out of ten times thirty percent.
- 1:26:31Speaker 3: A great baseball player has a thirty percent success rate
- 1:26:36Speaker 3: thirty percent he fails at the plate seventy percent of
- 1:26:40Speaker 3: the time, he makes millions of dollars. Nobody in the
- 1:26:46Speaker 3: NBA is shooting one hundred percent even from the free throw.
- 1:26:52Speaker 3: If you're shooting eighty percent from the free throw. You're
- 1:26:57Speaker 3: you're a pretty good free throw shooter. Nobody in golf
- 1:27:03Speaker 3: every round shoots a birdie. Nobody not every whole birdy's
- 1:27:10Speaker 3: the whole. Sometimes you parse, sometimes you bogey. The greatest
- 1:27:15Speaker 3: golfers in the world bogey and triple bogey, and that
- 1:27:17Speaker 3: the greatest golfers in the world. Stop letting when you
- 1:27:20Speaker 3: get it wrong. Define who you are. You have the
- 1:27:23Speaker 3: right to make up from mistakes. But remember now, try
- 1:27:27Speaker 3: to make a better decision in the first place, because
- 1:27:29Speaker 3: all the decisions that you make will will have an
- 1:27:32Speaker 3: effect on your tomorrow. Even though you can't control tomorrow,
- 1:27:36Speaker 3: you do have a say so in it, so you
- 1:27:39Speaker 3: can't throw caution to the wind. Make smart decisions today,
- 1:27:42Speaker 3: Pay very close attention because tomorrow may very well come.
- 1:27:47Speaker 3: Those are my clothes remarks. Hope you got something from it.
- 1:27:49Speaker 3: If you didn't join us tomorrow God willing, and maybe
- 1:27:52Speaker 3: you'll get something from it. Then if you don't, it's
- 1:27:54Speaker 3: because you ain't looking for nothing.
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: So go ahead on.
- 1:28:00Speaker 6: How he's going to end of the Yeah, today, that's
- 1:28:05Speaker 6: how it started, pretty much.
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: Yeah, absolu sell them all all.
