300 North parking restrictions ordinance advanced toward Willard public hearing

A proposed ordinance that would prohibit parking along much of 300 North between U.S. 89 and the Willard Canyon trailhead is headed to a public hearing after discussion by the Willard City Council on May 28. The proposal would make it unlawful to park on either side of 300 North from U.S. Highway 89 east to the Willard Canyon trailhead. The draft measure describes the affected area as extending approximately 0.58 miles and states the restriction would apply “regardless of whether ‘No Parking’ signs are posted or not posted.” Willard City Attorney Amy Hugie said the language was included to…
