Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: So leave it to the Biden administration to pull off
- 0:03Speaker 1: something this stupid. Send you a check, and while you're
- 0:06Speaker 1: waiting on the check, they then announced that they're going
- 0:10Speaker 1: to go on a tour to tell you why they're
- 0:12Speaker 1: going to raise your taxes. This is not a joke.
- 0:17Speaker 1: We are now being told that the Biden administration because
- 0:20Speaker 1: of the COVID package, they just passed the one point
- 0:23Speaker 1: nine trillion dollars COVID package where you only got nine
- 0:27Speaker 1: cents on the dollar, just a little dinky nine cents
- 0:33Speaker 1: on the dollar. That's all. You got nine cents on
- 0:38Speaker 1: the dollar, and they wasted all your other money on
- 0:41Speaker 1: things I had nothing to do with COVID nineteen. They
- 0:44Speaker 1: now got to raise your taxes. Yeah, gotta raise your taxes.
- 0:48Speaker 1: We are now getting word the Biden administration is planning
- 0:50Speaker 1: the biggest and most expensive tax increase that we have
- 0:55Speaker 1: seen since nineteen ninety three, when Bill Clinton had his
- 0:59Speaker 1: desires as signature overhaul of the tax hikes and system
- 1:04Speaker 1: that costs him then the House and the Senate just
- 1:07Speaker 1: another year later in the midterm elections. This time, however,
- 1:11Speaker 1: they say it's going to be palatable because Biden is
- 1:14Speaker 1: focusing on addressing what he refers to the unequal treatment
- 1:19Speaker 1: between work and wealth. In other words, if you go
- 1:24Speaker 1: to work and you work, and you do work that
- 1:27Speaker 1: they say is appropriate work, then they're not going to
- 1:31Speaker 1: raise your taxes. I guess is bad. But if you're
- 1:34Speaker 1: someone that goes to work and you build wealth, then
- 1:38Speaker 1: there is a huge problem with you, and that's who
- 1:42Speaker 1: they're going to then get tax dollars from. Now, let's
- 1:45Speaker 1: just talk about where we are as a nation when
- 1:47Speaker 1: it comes to debt. These numbers I'm about to give
- 1:50Speaker 1: you extremely important. The last time we had a major
- 1:54Speaker 1: financial crisis in this country I'm talking about from a
- 1:58Speaker 1: taxing issue where a party went nuts on taxes was
- 2:02Speaker 1: Jimmy Carter in nineteen eighty the US federal debt to
- 2:07Speaker 1: GDP ratio, which costs in the Rood House, And for
- 2:10Speaker 1: Reagan to actually beat Carter because people understood how bad
- 2:14Speaker 1: things are out of whack, was nineteen eighty. In nineteen eighty,
- 2:18Speaker 1: you had a total overhaul of the ideas in this country,
- 2:22Speaker 1: an overhaul because people were sick and tired of these
- 2:25Speaker 1: tax rates and they wanted something different from their government.
- 2:29Speaker 1: And so in nineteen eighty, when people were waving the
- 2:32Speaker 1: red flag, warning people that we were getting out of
- 2:35Speaker 1: whack with how much money we're spending compared to how
- 2:37Speaker 1: much money we're bringing in taxes. Of your tax dours,
- 2:40Speaker 1: our US federal debt to GDP ratio was thirty four
- 2:44Speaker 1: point five four percent, So just let's just round at
- 2:46Speaker 1: thirty five percent. That meant that we were in the
- 2:49Speaker 1: red thirty five percent US federal debt to GDP ratio.
- 2:53Speaker 1: You want to know where we are now today when
- 2:55Speaker 1: no one's paying attention to this, We are now at
- 2:57Speaker 1: one hundred and twenty nine point eight one percent US
- 3:01Speaker 1: federal debt to GDP ratio. There is no way that
- 3:05Speaker 1: this can continue without some sort of massive financial collapse
- 3:08Speaker 1: and or massive financial crush of the American people. In
- 3:13Speaker 1: the way of taxes, there also is a third alternative.
- 3:17Speaker 1: We have record tax revenue coming in this country. The
- 3:20Speaker 1: amount of tax revenue we have coming in is just
- 3:22Speaker 1: truly unbelievable. Yet somehow we always seem to spend more
- 3:29Speaker 1: money than we are bringing in, even if we have
- 3:31Speaker 1: record number of dollars coming in, the US federal tax
- 3:35Speaker 1: revenue right now, right now is at three point four
- 3:38Speaker 1: trillion dollars. That's an amazing amount of money. Revenue per
- 3:43Speaker 1: citizens over ten thousand bucks, that's incredible. Income tax revenue,
- 3:48Speaker 1: for example, is amazing right now one point six trillion,
- 3:52Speaker 1: Payroll tax revenue one point three million or trillion, i
- 3:55Speaker 1: should say, corporate tax revenue eighteen billion, tariff tax revenue
- 4:01Speaker 1: sixty seven billion. We have a lot of money coming
- 4:03Speaker 1: in right now in taxes. We have an amazing amount
- 4:06Speaker 1: of money. We have plenty of money to run this country,
- 4:08Speaker 1: but we refuse to actually make sense when we get
- 4:11Speaker 1: this money. We just decide to throw money around like crazy.
- 4:14Speaker 1: You want to know how bad things are right now?
- 4:16Speaker 1: This year, the largest budget items in our budget in
- 4:20Speaker 1: this country is medicare. Medicaid at one point two trillion
- 4:23Speaker 1: so far for the year. So security is at one
- 4:26Speaker 1: point one trillion for the year. Then you have defense
- 4:30Speaker 1: in war spending at seven hundred and twenty three billion.
- 4:34Speaker 1: And here is the fourth thing on our list. The
- 4:37Speaker 1: largest budget items for this year are almost four hundred billion.
- 4:44Speaker 1: Is what we are going to spend on interest on
- 4:46Speaker 1: our debt that we are on the money we're borrowing
- 4:48Speaker 1: right now, so when you pay your taxes, four hundred
- 4:51Speaker 1: billion of your tax dollars are actually going right now
- 4:54Speaker 1: to just pay the interest on the money we owe.
- 4:56Speaker 1: As a country. We have an incredible amount of un
- 5:00Speaker 1: fund of debt and interest in this country. The US
- 5:03Speaker 1: total interest paid so far as a country is three
- 5:07Speaker 1: point eight trillion dollars. We as a nation have spent
- 5:11Speaker 1: three point eight trillion just on paying the interest off
- 5:13Speaker 1: the money that we owe. If you want to know
- 5:16Speaker 1: how much interests we've paid per adult in this country,
- 5:18Speaker 1: it's over fifteen thousand dollars. To put it in perspective again,
- 5:24Speaker 1: this is why we have record number of dollars coming
- 5:26Speaker 1: into the US government coffers and we still can't balance
- 5:29Speaker 1: a damn budget. Let's talk about trade for a second.
- 5:33Speaker 1: You want to know how much US debt is being
- 5:34Speaker 1: held by foreign countries around the world. Much of it
- 5:36Speaker 1: is China and some of our enemies. Seven over seven
- 5:40Speaker 1: point one trillion is being held by foreign countries that
- 5:43Speaker 1: owe that own our debt. US debt held by foreign
- 5:48Speaker 1: countries is over seven trillion dollars. That should terrify all
- 5:51Speaker 1: of us. Now, I give you those numbers to tell
- 5:54Speaker 1: you just so you know where we are. We are
- 5:56Speaker 1: so upside down right now, there's no reason for this
- 5:58Speaker 1: because we have plenty of money coming in. Our federal
- 6:01Speaker 1: debt to GDP ratio is one hundred and twenty nine
- 6:04Speaker 1: percent in the red. So Joe Biden says, hey, I'm
- 6:08Speaker 1: going to send you a check for fourteen hundred hours.
- 6:11Speaker 1: I'm gonna give you nine cents on every dollar, and
- 6:13Speaker 1: then I'm going to waste all the rest of the money.
- 6:15Speaker 1: And then I'm immediately going to announce the largest tax
- 6:17Speaker 1: increase that we've seen since the nineteen nineties, because he
- 6:21Speaker 1: understands we have to pay for this crap. Now. What
- 6:24Speaker 1: he said is is, don't worry. If you don't make
- 6:26Speaker 1: any money, you're not gonna have to worry about tax increasing.
- 6:29Speaker 1: If you make very little money, you're not gonna have
- 6:30Speaker 1: to worry about these tax increases. We're going to attack
- 6:33Speaker 1: those that are giving independence to Americans. This is about
- 6:37Speaker 1: getting more Americans dependent on the Biden administration for their livelihood.
- 6:43Speaker 1: If there's any time that America cannot handle a tax increase,
- 6:47Speaker 1: especially of those that create jobs in this country in
- 6:50Speaker 1: the private sector, it is actually right now. Right now
- 6:54Speaker 1: is the worst time to do this because of what's
- 6:57Speaker 1: just happened the last year. Almost every person that I
- 7:00Speaker 1: know that has some amount of wealth over half a
- 7:04Speaker 1: million dollars or a million dollars or two million dollars,
- 7:08Speaker 1: is that money is disappearing day after day after day
- 7:13Speaker 1: after day. That money keeps disappearing because they're trying to
- 7:16Speaker 1: keep their businesses that they created afloat. They're just trying
- 7:21Speaker 1: to survive. I know people that have lost thirty and
- 7:25Speaker 1: forty percent of their wealth in the last year alone,
- 7:28Speaker 1: not to mention how much their businesses are now devalued,
- 7:32Speaker 1: and they're just trying to survive. So now what you
- 7:34Speaker 1: want to do is make it even harder on them
- 7:36Speaker 1: to survive. This is being done on purpose. This isn't
- 7:39Speaker 1: an accent. I don't believe the bidenministration is actually this stupid.
- 7:41Speaker 1: I actually believe that this smart. They understand that if
- 7:45Speaker 1: you can crush some small businesses right now and make
- 7:48Speaker 1: it virtually impossible for them to survive right now, you're
- 7:51Speaker 1: on really good footing moving forward, because then you'll have
- 7:55Speaker 1: more Americans depend on you than ever before. I want
- 7:59Speaker 1: you to think also just dumb. This is I'm talking
- 8:01Speaker 1: about just in competency. I'm talking about just basic stupidity
- 8:05Speaker 1: right now, Okay, who sends you a check for fourteen
- 8:10Speaker 1: hundred dollars and then immediately says they're going to raise
- 8:13Speaker 1: your taxes? Who says that? Who does that? It doesn't
- 8:17Speaker 1: make any sense at all. Here's fourteen hundred dollars. Now
- 8:20Speaker 1: I'm going to need more than fourteen hundred hours back.
- 8:22Speaker 1: That's what they're telling us. And they're going on the
- 8:25Speaker 1: road to sell you on this. Biden is actually going
- 8:30Speaker 1: to travel on Air Force one with Kamala Harris to
- 8:33Speaker 1: sell the American people on raising taxes. But remember, you
- 8:37Speaker 1: shouldn't be afraid of these tax breaks. If you're a
- 8:39Speaker 1: worker Bee, you should only be a tax increase. I say,
- 8:42Speaker 1: you should only be afraid these tax increases if you're
- 8:45Speaker 1: actually a person. They say that builds wealth. In other words,
- 8:49Speaker 1: if you're a business owner, we're gonna drown you. I
- 8:54Speaker 1: want to give you another example of this tax increase
- 8:58Speaker 1: and where a lot of this started. Right. Another way
- 9:01Speaker 1: of saying what Joe Biden is saying while he's trying
- 9:04Speaker 1: to suffocate small businesses in this country and trying to
- 9:08Speaker 1: hurt people that have might actually employ people, is to
- 9:11Speaker 1: basically call this nothing more than a wealth tax. Now
- 9:14Speaker 1: there's one Democrat that's had no issues calling this exactly
- 9:18Speaker 1: what it is, a wealth tax, and her, Elizabeth Warren,
- 9:20Speaker 1: has been pushing this. This was just nine days ago
- 9:23Speaker 1: when she came out and no one was paying attention
- 9:26Speaker 1: to her while she was talking about, Hey, a wealth
- 9:28Speaker 1: tax is something we need in America. So here's fourteen
- 9:31Speaker 1: hundred dollars to every American out there, right except for
- 9:33Speaker 1: those that make a lot of money. We're not going
- 9:35Speaker 1: to give you any of your money back. We're gonna
- 9:36Speaker 1: take your money and give it to other people that
- 9:38Speaker 1: need your money. And then Senator Warren comes out and says,
- 9:40Speaker 1: what this really is. It's a wealth tax. It is
- 9:42Speaker 1: a success tax. That's what this is. Take a listen,
- 9:45Speaker 1: so we'll take questions. How about if we start with
- 9:48Speaker 1: any questions around the wealth tax, and then if you've
- 9:50Speaker 1: thought other questions, we'll stay for us. Sure. But by
- 9:52Speaker 1: the way, she's not I want to hear Elizabeth warrenier.
- 9:56Speaker 1: She's not walking away from this, folks. Elizabeth Warren sitting there,
- 10:00Speaker 1: she's calling it a wealth tax. This is class warfare.
- 10:05Speaker 1: She is trying to go back to the basic old
- 10:07Speaker 1: playbook that anyone that has money as evil, even though
- 10:10Speaker 1: I've got millions and millions of dollars claiming I was
- 10:12Speaker 1: a minority when I'm actually not getting jobs that would
- 10:16Speaker 1: have never gotten by claiming I'm a Native American when
- 10:18Speaker 1: I did when I'm not a Native American, acting like
- 10:20Speaker 1: she's a minority when she wasn't a minority. She's a
- 10:22Speaker 1: white cracker woman just like me. Exce if I'm a dude,
- 10:24Speaker 1: she's a chick. Yes, there is a difference. But Elizabeth
- 10:28Speaker 1: Warren's out there. All these other Democrats you notice that
- 10:31Speaker 1: are calling this wealth tax. They're all rich as hell.
- 10:33Speaker 1: Biden's rich as hell, Warren's riches Hell, Pelosi's richest hell.
- 10:37Speaker 1: And they've all gotten rich being in government, which is
- 10:39Speaker 1: not what's supposed to happen. But they're coming after the
- 10:44Speaker 1: evil rich people, and they need you to understand we
- 10:46Speaker 1: need a wealth taxas country. We want to turn our
- 10:49Speaker 1: supporters against a successful in this country. So please ask
- 10:53Speaker 1: me questions about the wealth tax. I want you to
- 10:56Speaker 1: know that I'm going to war with these evil rich people,
- 10:58Speaker 1: which I'm one of. How about if we start with
- 11:00Speaker 1: any questions around the wealth tax and then if you've
- 11:02Speaker 1: got other questions, we'll stay fit of sure. Look, I'd
- 11:11Speaker 1: be delighted to see us move forward with the wealth
- 11:13Speaker 1: tax at any point. Uh. It's something we need in America.
- 11:18Speaker 1: And that's why we're out here today. We're putting it
- 11:20Speaker 1: out so everyone can see it and start to talk
- 11:23Speaker 1: about it. It's got a lot of details and how
- 11:25Speaker 1: it works. It's got things like what the what the
- 11:29Speaker 1: rate will be for uh, monitoring the income and checking
- 11:35Speaker 1: out each of the billionaires that are subject to it
- 11:39Speaker 1: and the ultra millionaires. But we want to put it
- 11:42Speaker 1: out there so people can start to consider it and
- 11:44Speaker 1: put it in a package. We need to move forward
- 11:47Speaker 1: on this. Here's my question, why is it that we
- 11:50Speaker 1: have demonized and made rich people so evil when it's
- 11:53Speaker 1: rich people that are the people that give us jobs.
- 11:56Speaker 1: Rich people are the ones that create the biggest and
- 11:58Speaker 1: the coolest industries out there. They're the ones that take
- 12:01Speaker 1: the biggest risks to create new interests in infrastructure. I mean, well,
- 12:04Speaker 1: look at Tesla for example. That guy risks money like crazy,
- 12:09Speaker 1: whether it's SpaceX or whatever it may be. These guys,
- 12:13Speaker 1: if they're wrong, lose hundreds of millions. If not billions
- 12:18Speaker 1: of dollars. Why are we demonizing them and turning them
- 12:23Speaker 1: into spawn of Satan? Because they need class warfare in
- 12:28Speaker 1: this country. You know. Bill Cassie was on Fox New
- 12:32Speaker 1: Sunday talking about the Trump tax cuts, and he was right.
- 12:36Speaker 1: He said, look, the tax cuts to quote evil big
- 12:39Speaker 1: businesses allowed us record employment rates, meaning record unemployment rates,
- 12:45Speaker 1: all time lows. Meanwhile, you listen to Joe Biden and
- 12:50Speaker 1: he says, no, no no, no, no no, I gotta get rid
- 12:52Speaker 1: of all these evil big businesses. They got tax breaks
- 12:55Speaker 1: that went into record hiring, that had more people employed
- 13:00Speaker 1: than any other time in my lifetime. I got to
- 13:03Speaker 1: stop that from happening because I need people dependent on
- 13:05Speaker 1: the government, my food, my food stands, my government aid.
- 13:09Speaker 1: That's what Biden needs to win. That's what the Democrats
- 13:12Speaker 1: need to win. They need people dependent on them where
- 13:15Speaker 1: they can't survive and the lights are turned off if
- 13:17Speaker 1: they're not they're defending or writing that check. Take a
- 13:21Speaker 1: listen to Bill Cassie talking about the Trunk tax cuts
- 13:23Speaker 1: to big businesses, and the fact is it allowed for
- 13:26Speaker 1: record employment in America. It worked. In other words, out
- 13:30Speaker 1: just exactly that in the next segment. But let me,
- 13:32Speaker 1: come at this one last way. President Biden is going
- 13:35Speaker 1: to be traveling around the country in the next few
- 13:38Speaker 1: weeks saying things like this, it provides food and nutrition,
- 13:43Speaker 1: keeps families in their homes, and it will cut child
- 13:47Speaker 1: poverty in this country in half. He and other Democrats
- 13:54Speaker 1: are gonna say, look back in twenty seventeen, Republicans and
- 13:58Speaker 1: President Trump passed big tax cuts to benefit corporations and
- 14:02Speaker 1: the wealthy. We the Democrats, he's going to say, are
- 14:06Speaker 1: taking care of working class people. So first, let's look
- 14:11Speaker 1: at the Trump economy, if you will, in which there
- 14:14Speaker 1: was red record employment for those without a high school education,
- 14:20Speaker 1: for high school dropouts, for the disabled, for veterans, for
- 14:23Speaker 1: African Americans, Hispanics, women fill in the blank record employment. Now,
- 14:29Speaker 1: that was the sort of economy that resulted from the
- 14:32Speaker 1: Trump tax cuts. Indeed, the last time I was on
- 14:35Speaker 1: with you, you had somebody from President Biden's Economic Council
- 14:39Speaker 1: saying they wanted to return to the economy pre COVID.
- 14:43Speaker 1: He kind of caught himself because that was the Republican
- 14:45Speaker 1: Senate and the Trump economy. Now now they're trying to
- 14:49Speaker 1: do it by just pumping dollars in it may work
- 14:52Speaker 1: or may night inflation, which pulls down somebody into a
- 14:55Speaker 1: vortex of losing their savings. We'll see. Is it better
- 14:59Speaker 1: to let people keep the own money or is it
- 15:01Speaker 1: better to take it from him and give it back.
- 15:03Speaker 1: That's the difference between the two parties, which is exactly
- 15:06Speaker 1: what Biden is doing. Right now, here's fourteen hundred hours
- 15:09Speaker 1: of your money back. Right. This isn't anybody else's money,
- 15:11Speaker 1: it's your money. Here's fourteen hundred bucks back of your dollars.
- 15:16Speaker 1: And while I give it back to you, I'm going
- 15:17Speaker 1: to tell you I'm about to raise the crap out
- 15:19Speaker 1: of your taxes. And they're not just done with this.
- 15:23Speaker 1: So you understand, Mayor Pete. He's the guy in charge
- 15:30Speaker 1: of energy and all this other crap. He has now
- 15:32Speaker 1: come out today saying that we should explore indexing the
- 15:35Speaker 1: gas tax to inflation. So he wants to raise the
- 15:38Speaker 1: tax on you at the pump as well. For infrastructure,
- 15:41Speaker 1: get possible trust to go forward and thrive as a country.
- 15:45Speaker 1: Mister Secretary, you've gotten into the dot and had a
- 15:49Speaker 1: quick look under the hood. I'm curious what are America's
- 15:52Speaker 1: greatest infrastructure needs right now? If there is an infrastructure
- 15:57Speaker 1: bill that's following up, what are some of the most
- 16:00Speaker 1: important elements that need to be in that bill. Well,
- 16:04Speaker 1: if there's a lot we've got to do to look
- 16:05Speaker 1: to the futures and think about what it would mean
- 16:07Speaker 1: to this country if Americans could expect the same quality
- 16:11Speaker 1: of passenger rail travel as people in other developed countries.
- 16:14Speaker 1: Think about what it will mean to this country when
- 16:17Speaker 1: we have enough electric vehicle charging stations that these incredible
- 16:21Speaker 1: vehicles that Detroit and other automakers are producing are something
- 16:25Speaker 1: you can take anywhere. But by the way, you noticed
- 16:27Speaker 1: that they're selling you a lie. Right now, right we're
- 16:31Speaker 1: going to put up a bunch of random charging stations
- 16:33Speaker 1: that you've seen all over the country where they put
- 16:35Speaker 1: them up with these tax breaks under Biden years that
- 16:37Speaker 1: no one is using. There's a charging station at almost
- 16:40Speaker 1: every Walgreens and cvs around my house, and I never
- 16:43Speaker 1: see a car plugged in. That was all paid for
- 16:47Speaker 1: with your tax hours. It was all these tax breaks.
- 16:49Speaker 1: If you became like a green parking lot, it's not
- 16:51Speaker 1: a joke. It's in the Obama years, and we'll pay
- 16:55Speaker 1: you to put these in. You just heard mayor pet
- 17:00Speaker 1: this is the Secretary of Transportation, the US Department transtation
- 17:04Speaker 1: telling you that we're going to do rail service now
- 17:06Speaker 1: in this kumbayaway. We'll get you all over the country.
- 17:09Speaker 1: We're a spread out country, dude, that we're not Europe.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Rail service in America doesn't make sense like it makes
- 17:16Speaker 1: sense in Europe. How much money are you going to
- 17:19Speaker 1: spend on this. I'm in favor of rail where it
- 17:24Speaker 1: makes sense, right. I used Amtrak from DC to New
- 17:28Speaker 1: York probably a hundred times when I lived in DC.
- 17:31Speaker 1: It makes sense when you're in the Northeast where there's
- 17:34Speaker 1: a lot of places close like Connecticut, New York City
- 17:36Speaker 1: and all these other trains and Amtrak. That makes sense
- 17:39Speaker 1: large population areas. But if you think we're going to
- 17:42Speaker 1: get a rail system all over the country, what good
- 17:45Speaker 1: would a rail really do and how many people are
- 17:47Speaker 1: really going to use it in place like Tennessee, Missisippian Arkansas.
- 17:49Speaker 1: I mean, is there some massive need that I know
- 17:52Speaker 1: about of a rail from Memphis to Little Rock? And
- 17:55Speaker 1: would it ever become financially stable? No? Would people would
- 17:58Speaker 1: I can maybe do it at first, sure, but ultimately
- 18:01Speaker 1: a lot of people when you have longer areas and
- 18:03Speaker 1: distances to cover. Would rather be in their car, so
- 18:06Speaker 1: they can stop where they want to, they can eat
- 18:07Speaker 1: where they want to, They're not locked in for hours
- 18:09Speaker 1: on end in a train. Our states are too long,
- 18:13Speaker 1: they're too big, they're too wide, they're too open for
- 18:15Speaker 1: it to make sense for there to be train travel everywhere.
- 18:18Speaker 1: That's why people fly. But then on one flying, flying
- 18:23Speaker 1: is bad for the world, right, Flying is bad for
- 18:25Speaker 1: green energy. So we're going to spend a bunch of
- 18:28Speaker 1: money on you having a bunch of charging stations and
- 18:31Speaker 1: a bunch of railways that won't be used by people
- 18:34Speaker 1: because it will still take too long to get from
- 18:35Speaker 1: point A to point B. Or people would rather just
- 18:38Speaker 1: be in their dead gum cars. But we're gonna force
- 18:43Speaker 1: you into this, and we're gonna force you into this
- 18:45Speaker 1: by what Mayor Pete says next, and that is we're
- 18:49Speaker 1: gonna explode taxes at the pump and what it costs
- 18:53Speaker 1: to fill your car up with gas, not just the
- 18:56Speaker 1: actual price of oil, but also the taxes you pay
- 18:59Speaker 1: at the pump. The reason why Mayor Pete has come
- 19:04Speaker 1: out and is the guy that's in charge. How he
- 19:06Speaker 1: got this job at the US Department Translations to Translations secretaries.
- 19:10Speaker 1: Because he hates oil and gas. He's been on records
- 19:14Speaker 1: hating all gas for decades. He believes that you should
- 19:17Speaker 1: be forced in alternative energy. And that's exactly the reason
- 19:20Speaker 1: why now he's saying we are exploring indexing the gas
- 19:23Speaker 1: tax to inflation, because he wants the price of gas
- 19:26Speaker 1: to get so expensive that then you will get an
- 19:28Speaker 1: electric car that you will get on one of his
- 19:33Speaker 1: railways that he wants to build in this country, to
- 19:35Speaker 1: force you in a mass transit instead of independence of
- 19:39Speaker 1: having your own car. Democrats have done something, and I
- 19:45Speaker 1: warned about this ten years ago. They've figured out that
- 19:48Speaker 1: it's a lot easier to price you out of things
- 19:52Speaker 1: and is to pass laws banning things. Look at what
- 19:56Speaker 1: they're trying to do with guns. They want to have
- 19:57Speaker 1: a two hundred dollar tax on a magazine, a two
- 19:59Speaker 1: hundred our at tax on every gun that you have
- 20:02Speaker 1: that they don't like. They want to now make it
- 20:05Speaker 1: where it's impossible for you to be able to afford
- 20:09Speaker 1: what it costs to drive a car. So you all
- 20:11Speaker 1: go back to our turn of energy. It's the same
- 20:12Speaker 1: thing Obama administration did. That's what they advocated for. So
- 20:18Speaker 1: they're just resurrecting these old ideas and now pushing them
- 20:22Speaker 1: even more into the future, forcing the price up even
- 20:26Speaker 1: more than we're willing to do it under the Obama years.
- 20:29Speaker 1: So now all of a sudden, Mayor Pete comes out
- 20:31Speaker 1: at the same time Biden's coming out saying I'm going
- 20:33Speaker 1: to raise your taxes more than anybody else has in
- 20:35Speaker 1: your lifetime. And I'm going to raise a tax on
- 20:38Speaker 1: you at the pump more than anybody else has probably
- 20:40Speaker 1: in their lifetime as well. It's not just the kind
- 20:43Speaker 1: of sizzling futuristic stuff. Frankly, a lot of it's taken
- 20:47Speaker 1: care of the basics. The engineers came out with their
- 20:49Speaker 1: report card again, I think we got a D plus
- 20:51Speaker 1: and a lot of the categories because we know that
- 20:54Speaker 1: there was an enormous backlog just in terms of our
- 20:57Speaker 1: roads and bridges. We've just got to fix us. Governor
- 21:00Speaker 1: Whitmer often said to fix the damn roads, and that
- 21:04Speaker 1: is a safety issue. We know what happens when a
- 21:06Speaker 1: bridge is in poor repair and is allowed to stay
- 21:09Speaker 1: that way. It's a job's issue because there's an enormous
- 21:12Speaker 1: amount of work to be done. So We're going to
- 21:14Speaker 1: have to do equal parts looking to the future but
- 21:17Speaker 1: also taking care of what we've already got, with an
- 21:19Speaker 1: eye toward climate, with an eye toward equity, and with
- 21:22Speaker 1: an eye toward all the jobs that we can create,
- 21:24Speaker 1: while also making it all safer and paying for it
- 21:29Speaker 1: and getting Republicans on board for a massive infrastructure plan.
- 21:34Speaker 1: There are most see years ahead of work, possibly tens
- 21:40Speaker 1: of thousands of jobs created, but it's got to be
- 21:43Speaker 1: paid for. What are your thoughts looking ahead at working
- 21:47Speaker 1: with Republicans to get a plan approved. Yeah, I think
- 21:51Speaker 1: it's no secret that this is going to be the
- 21:54Speaker 1: most challenging part about keeping this bipartisan. I'll tell you
- 21:58Speaker 1: I'm talking to Republicans in the House and Senate just
- 22:02Speaker 1: about every day. They are just as excited as the
- 22:05Speaker 1: rest of the American people about what we can build,
- 22:07Speaker 1: what we can repair, what we can do for infrastructure,
- 22:10Speaker 1: because you know, everybody here in Washington represents a home
- 22:12Speaker 1: state or a home district that needs the work. But
- 22:16Speaker 1: we've got to come to terms on how to pay
- 22:18Speaker 1: for it. Now. The real question is how much of
- 22:20Speaker 1: this should be paid for with revenue that is raised
- 22:23Speaker 1: as part of the vision for the bill, and there
- 22:26Speaker 1: are a lot of different ways to get at that.
- 22:28Speaker 1: You know, Historically, for example, we've mostly relied on the
- 22:31Speaker 1: gas tax in order to fund our highways. But the
- 22:34Speaker 1: gas tax hasn't been adjusted since nineteen ninety three. It
- 22:37Speaker 1: was never pegged to inflation. And even at best, that's
- 22:41Speaker 1: a medium term solution because as electric vehicles come onto
- 22:44Speaker 1: the road, people are going to use less gas anyway,
- 22:46Speaker 1: So we've got a lot of decisions to oh did
- 22:49Speaker 1: you hear that? So even as electric vehicles come on
- 22:53Speaker 1: here it is here, it is folks. Here's the kicker.
- 22:59Speaker 1: Even as electric vehicles come into you know reality, right,
- 23:03Speaker 1: even as electric vehicles come in, we know that there's
- 23:09Speaker 1: gonna be more electric vehicles on the road, which means
- 23:12Speaker 1: less gas will be bought, which means it's gonna have
- 23:13Speaker 1: to go even higher to deal with that. So they're
- 23:18Speaker 1: gonna just skyrocket and force you to pay for the
- 23:21Speaker 1: roads that are being used by the electric vehicles. So
- 23:24Speaker 1: then you'll want to get that electric vehicle. But then
- 23:27Speaker 1: what happens to our roads when they're just getting hammered
- 23:29Speaker 1: every day by the electric vehicles? You know what's gonna
- 23:32Speaker 1: happen they'll raise taxes on you then anyway, because there's
- 23:36Speaker 1: no reason not to. Right, you just raise taxes in
- 23:41Speaker 1: any way because there's literally no reason not to do
- 23:43Speaker 1: it at that point, no reason at all not to
- 23:48Speaker 1: do it. Just let's just let's go, let's do it.
- 23:50Speaker 1: Let's make it happen. We're gonna make this work, right,
- 23:55Speaker 1: We gotta make this happen right now. And I love
- 24:02Speaker 1: how they act and talk about this like it's just
- 24:04Speaker 1: not even an issue, it's not a big deal. You
- 24:07Speaker 1: just gotta make it happen, folks, You just gotta you
- 24:10Speaker 1: just gotta eat it and bite the bullet and make
- 24:12Speaker 1: this happen. And we're gonna raise taxes on the roads.
- 24:15Speaker 1: We're gonna raise taxes on individuals. We're gonna raise taxes
- 24:18Speaker 1: the pump. We're going to force you into believing what
- 24:21Speaker 1: we believe. You don't have options anymore with these people.
- 24:27Speaker 1: There are only bad options. You either get on board
- 24:29Speaker 1: or run over you are. Those are your options. You
- 24:35Speaker 1: get on board, or we'll bury you. So the left
- 24:41Speaker 1: has just gotten evil, as we said, or excuse me,
- 24:44Speaker 1: the writer has gotten evil. The rich you've got our evil,
- 24:47Speaker 1: as they've declared, over and over and over again. And
- 24:51Speaker 1: this is how we're gonna do this. Now, we're gonna
- 24:53Speaker 1: pound you into submission, and you don't have a choice.
- 24:57Speaker 1: We are going to own you. There is no nothing
- 25:00Speaker 1: that you can do to stop us. We're gonna tell
- 25:04Speaker 1: you as we've been doing what you can and cannot do,
- 25:06Speaker 1: and you can't stop us. Man, it must be fun
- 25:12Speaker 1: to be a democrat. Right now, force us all into submission.
- 25:16Speaker 1: Raise our taxes while handing us a check. Raising, I mean,
- 25:20Speaker 1: raising our taxes while handing us a check is probably
- 25:23Speaker 1: the most cajone is saying I've ever seen Joe Biden do.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Here's you your fourteen hundred dollars. Now give me all
- 25:32Speaker 1: your money. What that's right, here's fourteen hundred dollars. Now
- 25:37Speaker 1: I'm going to raise your taxes. We're going full out
- 25:44Speaker 1: class warfare, full on class warfare, total class warfare. You
- 25:52Speaker 1: have any amount of money in a bank account, you
- 25:54Speaker 1: make any decent money, We're gonna pound you. You have
- 25:58Speaker 1: any basic amount of cash, and you and you and
- 26:03Speaker 1: you create jobs, and you build businesses, and you take risks,
- 26:06Speaker 1: We're gonna pound you. This is a war of having
- 26:11Speaker 1: have knots. This is what we are now doing. It
- 26:14Speaker 1: is a war of have and have knots. The price
- 26:19Speaker 1: of everything is about to go through the roof, and
- 26:21Speaker 1: they are planning it on purpose. This is all on purpose.
- 26:33Speaker 1: You've been warned. Many people voted for this. You're welcome.
- 26:40Speaker 1: We told you this was going to be a problem,
- 26:43Speaker 1: and so many didn't listen. You didn't pay attention. And
- 26:49Speaker 1: may Or Pete just said it, and so did all
- 26:52Speaker 1: these others. They said it to you beforehand, and now
- 26:55Speaker 1: they're doing it, and people are gonna be in shock, like, wait,
- 26:57Speaker 1: hold on, I didn't know this was actually going to happen.
- 27:00Speaker 1: What did you think we're gonna I mean, what's going
- 27:02Speaker 1: to happen? Even Liz Cheney said this about the taxes.
- 27:06Speaker 1: Thanks for joining us today. We've got a number of
- 27:11Speaker 1: pieces of legislation that we continue to be very concerned about. Obviously,
- 27:16Speaker 1: the COVID package, which is coming to the floor. We
- 27:20Speaker 1: don't know either today or tomorrow. It's a real tragedy
- 27:24Speaker 1: when you look at that package. We know that that
- 27:27Speaker 1: the result of that package is going to be middle
- 27:30Speaker 1: class tax increases. We know for sure that it includes
- 27:35Speaker 1: provisions that are not targeted. They're not temporary, they're not
- 27:38Speaker 1: related to COVID, And it didn't have to be this way.
- 27:42Speaker 1: We could have had a bill that was, you know,
- 27:46Speaker 1: a fraction of the class of this one, that could
- 27:48Speaker 1: have gotten bipartisan approval and support. But the Speaker decided
- 27:53Speaker 1: to go in another direction, and so we are going
- 27:56Speaker 1: to be saddled with a burden spending bird and a
- 28:00Speaker 1: tax burden that is really indefensible from the perspective of
- 28:05Speaker 1: what it actually accomplishes. Even Liz Chenney, who I'm not
- 28:10Speaker 1: a fan of right now, gets what's about to happen.
- 28:13Speaker 1: A massive tax increase. So congratulations, you're getting these checks,
- 28:21Speaker 1: and immediately they're going to raise your taxes at levels
- 28:24Speaker 1: we haven't seen in the nineteen nineties. And then they're
- 28:26Speaker 1: going to raise the taxes at the pump, and then
- 28:29Speaker 1: you've got states they're gonna end up raising taxes just
- 28:32Speaker 1: like we've seen in California and Hawaii, in Seattle and
- 28:35Speaker 1: all these other places where they're raising taxes. And the
- 28:37Speaker 1: reason why they're raising the taxes is obvious. You know it,
- 28:41Speaker 1: and I know it. It's very clear. Why are they
- 28:45Speaker 1: doing it right now? Because they can't balance a budget.
- 28:47Speaker 1: And oh, in the one point nine trillion dollar bailout.
- 28:50Speaker 1: Let's not forget all of the things are actually in
- 28:52Speaker 1: that build that built out place like San Francisco. They've
- 28:54Speaker 1: got incredible amounts of money in San Francisco, folks. We
- 28:59Speaker 1: built every state that couldn't balance their budget. While other
- 29:02Speaker 1: states balance their budget. No one is talking about that.
- 29:09Speaker 1: You had twenty one thousand for federal employees to stay
- 29:12Speaker 1: at home and work. In this bill, you had twenty
- 29:16Speaker 1: five thousand bonus for state government workers. And then you
- 29:21Speaker 1: had money going directly to local places that couldn't do
- 29:23Speaker 1: their budgets. Nancy Pelosi got six hundred million of year
- 29:26Speaker 1: dollars to go to San Francisco because they couldn't deal
- 29:28Speaker 1: with their budgets. One point five billion to Amtrak because
- 29:32Speaker 1: they can't make a dollar. They send all this money
- 29:37Speaker 1: to things that were just portbread projects for people that
- 29:39Speaker 1: couldn't do anything. A total three hundred and fifty billion
- 29:42Speaker 1: dollars in the stimulus bill actually went to bailout blue
- 29:46Speaker 1: states that haven't balanced their budgets. You're welcome, that's what
- 29:52Speaker 1: you just paid for, all right. Lastly, just want to
