- 2:03Speaker 1: I shall will. Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice,
- 2:08Speaker 1: Come on dig me now, one and only. Steve Harvey
- 2:11Speaker 1: got a radio show man. That's business too. You know.
- 2:16Speaker 1: I've I've been talking for the past couple of days
- 2:19Speaker 1: because I've been rereading again the book The Secret, and
- 2:24Speaker 1: I was saying the other day and I was talking
- 2:26Speaker 1: to the TV audience also that it's the best book
- 2:28Speaker 1: I've ever read outside of the Bible. I've read some
- 2:32Speaker 1: great books, and so it's kind of a hard statement
- 2:34Speaker 1: for me to make, but it is about the best
- 2:38Speaker 1: book I've read outside of the Bible. I've learned more
- 2:41Speaker 1: from the Bible than anything. I mean, I would be
- 2:43Speaker 1: flat outline if I told you I didn't, And I'm
- 2:46Speaker 1: I'm trying to get people, uh to deal with this
- 2:51Speaker 1: one thing, and that is the law of attraction and
- 2:54Speaker 1: how you can start uh thinking your self and acting
- 3:02Speaker 1: your way out of any situation. See, it's it's it
- 3:07Speaker 1: really is true that a man is as he thinks
- 3:10Speaker 1: that that piece of scripture is not um this is
- 3:15Speaker 1: not that that ain't in there for no reason. It's
- 3:18Speaker 1: very small, but it's so huge. It's so huge, you know,
- 3:24Speaker 1: in the way that I've been taught uh to apply
- 3:28Speaker 1: my faith throughout my life and the things that I've
- 3:31Speaker 1: learned along the way throughout my life. And uh, so
- 3:35Speaker 1: many things are written that our guidelines for all of us.
- 3:40Speaker 1: If we would only only just pay attention to it,
- 3:46Speaker 1: you know, That's that's all we have to do to
- 3:49Speaker 1: understand that God operates only on faith. You know that
- 3:55Speaker 1: that's an amazing piece to get folks that he operates
- 3:59Speaker 1: on faith. Yeah, he can only give you and award
- 4:04Speaker 1: you what you believe. See, so everybody gets awarded and
- 4:10Speaker 1: receives up to the level of their belief, which is
- 4:14Speaker 1: their faith. Once again for the thousands, five thousands time.
- 4:21Speaker 1: What is faith? Faith is the thing is the belief
- 4:26Speaker 1: in things that you cannot see. That's the best way
- 4:29Speaker 1: for me to describe it. That's how I was able
- 4:31Speaker 1: to wrap my mind around it. There are other descriptions
- 4:34Speaker 1: of faith, and probably people who can do it more eloquently,
- 4:38Speaker 1: but in basic when you peel back to Banana, this
- 4:41Speaker 1: is what it means to me. This is the interpretation
- 4:45Speaker 1: that it is the belief in things that you cannot see.
- 4:51Speaker 1: See it don't take a whole lot of faith. Okay, Look,
- 4:55Speaker 1: if I'm running a race, and let's say it's one
- 4:58Speaker 1: time around, how ever long that it could be miles
- 5:03Speaker 1: yards whatever, it's one time around, and halfway around, I
- 5:07Speaker 1: get tired. But at the halfway point I can see
- 5:15Speaker 1: the finish line. Then guess what, I know that if
- 5:22Speaker 1: I just continue on that right there, I win. If
- 5:28Speaker 1: I just finished, I win. But I can see the
- 5:32Speaker 1: finish line. So guess what. It makes it a lot
- 5:35Speaker 1: easier for me to keep going because the finish line
- 5:38Speaker 1: is in sight. What makes the great runner, though, see
- 5:46Speaker 1: a lot of people can do that, but what makes
- 5:49Speaker 1: the great runner is the person who is running and
- 5:56Speaker 1: cannot see the Finnish line, but runs with the hope
- 6:02Speaker 1: and aspiration that if he just keep running, he gonna
- 6:06Speaker 1: get to the finish line. That's where you got to
- 6:11Speaker 1: get to see. That is the person that exhales, that
- 6:18Speaker 1: goes beyond the realm of ordinary and gets into the
- 6:22Speaker 1: realm of extraordinary. When you can get your mind to
- 6:28Speaker 1: believe in in something that you can't see, that's when
- 6:32Speaker 1: you open up the possibilities that God has for you. See,
- 6:36Speaker 1: if you're operating only on what you can see in
- 6:40Speaker 1: your mind, and then it's gonna be limited. And but
- 6:44Speaker 1: that's where you will be. But if you expand your faith,
- 6:49Speaker 1: if you expand your belief into I believe that God
- 6:53Speaker 1: has so much more for me. I believe that God
- 6:57Speaker 1: is gonna give me this life of abundance. I believe
- 7:00Speaker 1: that God will take care of me. I believe that
- 7:03Speaker 1: no weapon formed against me should prosper. I believe that
- 7:06Speaker 1: I can walk through the fire and I will not
- 7:08Speaker 1: get burned. That that's that right there. That's that's that's now.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Now we're talking something else now, folks. And if you
- 7:15Speaker 1: can get yourself there, then you open up yourself to
- 7:20Speaker 1: some amazing things from God. That's how you get an
- 7:23Speaker 1: amazing life. And I want to say amazing life. I
- 7:26Speaker 1: want you to understand I'm not always talking about money.
- 7:30Speaker 1: I'm talking about man, God to put the right person
- 7:33Speaker 1: in your life. God to bring the right situations around.
- 7:37Speaker 1: He'll cause you to meet the right people. You'll be
- 7:41Speaker 1: sitting in the right meetings. You'll be seeing sitting in
- 7:44Speaker 1: meetings that all of a sudden that have substance instead
- 7:47Speaker 1: of y'all just sitting there meeting, ain't nothing going on.
- 7:50Speaker 1: He'll He'll give you new friends of of like mindedness
- 7:55Speaker 1: around you, people that are going in the same direction
- 7:58Speaker 1: as you. Somebody that you can share some thoughts with,
- 8:01Speaker 1: that got some things in common, that know what the
- 8:04Speaker 1: rough party is you're going through, because man, I'm going
- 8:07Speaker 1: through the same thing. That's what I mean by giving
- 8:09Speaker 1: you a wonderful life. Those are the things that make
- 8:14Speaker 1: life wonderful. Not money. I want. I want to first
- 8:17Speaker 1: tell you that am I against it, not at all.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Uh it's a very useful to money can be at times.
- 8:24Speaker 1: But uh, that boy are Biggie smalls. He he never
- 8:28Speaker 1: he never lied when he said more money, more problems.
- 8:31Speaker 1: That that is a is A is A is a
- 8:34Speaker 1: true statement if I've ever heard one. But guess what though, See,
- 8:38Speaker 1: God also provides you to wisdom and understanding to deal
- 8:41Speaker 1: with the new problems that arise, and he'll get you
- 8:44Speaker 1: through it. But you've got to open up your mind
- 8:47Speaker 1: to the possibilities of your life because God operates on
- 8:52Speaker 1: faith and a man is as he thinking. You've got
- 8:57Speaker 1: to understand that small scripture that's so big in your
- 9:00Speaker 1: life people overlooked at. So you know you you you
- 9:05Speaker 1: are what you've attracted to yourself. Lord, I'm sick and
- 9:10Speaker 1: tired of meeting no good men. Oh okay, so don't
- 9:17Speaker 1: blame this on God. Now I want you blame this
- 9:19Speaker 1: on yourself. Low, I'm sick of meeting no good men. Well,
- 9:25Speaker 1: the law of attraction works like this. The law of
- 9:29Speaker 1: attraction doesn't work on I'm sick of that's that's what
- 9:33Speaker 1: is that you're sick of what? I'm tired of meeting
- 9:38Speaker 1: that meeting? What the subject that the law of attraction
- 9:42Speaker 1: works on? What you put out off your transmitter was,
- 9:46Speaker 1: I'm sick and tired of meeting no good men. So
- 9:49Speaker 1: what you attract to yourself is more no good men
- 9:55Speaker 1: that you can be sick of meeting. If you don't
- 9:59Speaker 1: think it works like the then I'm sorry, you know,
- 10:01Speaker 1: and and and and here's one thing that the book
- 10:03Speaker 1: says clearly about the law of attraction. It does not
- 10:05Speaker 1: matter if you believe it. It doesn't matter if you
- 10:08Speaker 1: accept it. It doesn't mean if you've ever been aware
- 10:12Speaker 1: of it. It doesn't mean that if you don't acknowledge it,
- 10:15Speaker 1: it just goes away for you. Know, it works for
- 10:17Speaker 1: you anyway. It is the law of attraction. Break that down.
- 10:23Speaker 1: Guess what it is? A man is as he thinketh
- 10:27Speaker 1: Break that down now, so you can wrap your mind
- 10:30Speaker 1: around this thing. So guess what. You got to watch
- 10:34Speaker 1: and be mindful. There's a scripture that I do not
- 10:36Speaker 1: know what it is or something like this, but it
- 10:38Speaker 1: meant it tells you to be conscious of the words
- 10:41Speaker 1: you speak. Now, I don't know the scripture. I don't
- 10:45Speaker 1: know where it is. I'm sorry that I ain't got
- 10:50Speaker 1: all that. I know it's in that or and I've
- 10:52Speaker 1: heard it. And when I heard that, I went, wow, man,
- 10:55Speaker 1: that's powerful. But you got to be conscious of the
- 10:58Speaker 1: words you speak. Kay. See, the words you speak are
- 11:04Speaker 1: usually what you're thinking. So if you speak it into existence,
- 11:10Speaker 1: and that's what you think. That's what you become a
- 11:13Speaker 1: magnet for. No good man. I think I gave you
- 11:16Speaker 1: this example yesterday, and I repeat it. Lord, I want
- 11:21Speaker 1: to get out of debt the law of attraction. Here's
- 11:25Speaker 1: that And guess what it is sent to you more
- 11:29Speaker 1: debt for you to get out of, Lord, out of
- 11:35Speaker 1: I k ever get out of this debt. Guess what
- 11:38Speaker 1: the law of attraction does. It attracts more debt for
- 11:41Speaker 1: you not to get out of. When are we going
- 11:43Speaker 1: to stop saying it that way? If you make a
- 11:47Speaker 1: simple change in your life and simply say I am
- 11:50Speaker 1: going to live a life of abundance. Well, if you
- 11:55Speaker 1: have abundance, don't that mean you have enough? Then guess what?
- 11:59Speaker 1: You will have enough to pay off people you owe.
- 12:05Speaker 1: That's that's a great thing about it, man, It's it's
- 12:07Speaker 1: such a small tuning of the mind, tuning of the
- 12:11Speaker 1: speech pattern. Stop hanging around people, ain't talking about nothing,
- 12:15Speaker 1: always talking about people and being negative people that talk
- 12:19Speaker 1: about people. They ain't going nowhere, man, no where? Okay, alright, y'all,
- 12:25Speaker 1: I hope you give me. Thank you. You're listening to
- 12:29Speaker 1: Steve Harvey eighteen minutes after the hour, Steve Harvey Morning Show,
- 12:38Speaker 1: Power waking you up, hoping you up doing one thing
- 12:43Speaker 1: that I'm all the way, I'm all the well, that's
- 12:48Speaker 1: my jam right down, man, I don't even know what
- 12:52Speaker 1: it is. I'm all the will wake gook weak gook
- 12:55Speaker 1: weak cook weave. Okay, we're up. Let's get to it.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Top of the morning, baby too. Yep. Everybody in a
- 13:09Speaker 1: good mood today, Junior Absolutely morning, Hey, good running. What
- 13:20Speaker 1: the president do now anything? I'm just scared. All you
- 13:24Speaker 1: have to do is go to sleep and wake up.
- 13:26Speaker 1: It's something his approval rating is down there, saying you
- 13:31Speaker 1: think to to to one of the lowest points. Yeah,
- 13:35Speaker 1: your faith, Yeah yeah, people are losing faith. Huh and him,
- 13:42Speaker 1: I think tomorrow when we wake up. Uh huh. What's
- 13:45Speaker 1: Russia going on now? For sale? He does, You're gonna
- 13:50Speaker 1: say it, I'm talling Russia or China. Wanted to a
- 14:00Speaker 1: lot of people want to look like his daughter though, Ivanka.
- 14:04Speaker 1: You know, she's influencing a lot of plastic surgery around
- 14:07Speaker 1: the world. People think she's beautiful and they want to
- 14:09Speaker 1: look like her. Yes, m hmmm. Number of American plastic
- 14:14Speaker 1: surgeons reveal that. So when you and Carla going in,
- 14:22Speaker 1: she you know, she had worked down herself. So people
- 14:26Speaker 1: like the way she looks. Yeah, I would have to reduce. Yeah,
- 14:31Speaker 1: I gotta take a lot of shut him go. Here
- 14:40Speaker 1: we go, y'all gonna get mad at him. I got
- 14:44Speaker 1: the trunk. Y'all got that trunk. Y'all got trunk. Okay,
- 14:51Speaker 1: you done? Yeah, get it all out. They don't help,
- 14:55Speaker 1: but remove will dude now, but they have but lowerings
- 15:00Speaker 1: to have, but lowering him saying it right now to
- 15:08Speaker 1: get on this every day though, every day one. It's
- 15:17Speaker 1: so unusual though, No, no, surely you did this, yes,
- 15:23Speaker 1: because we weren't even on Tommy, but Tommy got on
- 15:25Speaker 1: y'all about y'alls. But so, yeah, that's so inappropriate. I
- 15:29Speaker 1: know it is, but every yes, yes, it inappropriate. If
- 15:35Speaker 1: you don't know, and you don't know that you have butts,
- 15:40Speaker 1: we all have butts. We're just discussing your butt. What
- 15:43Speaker 1: is it you man? Would you like it if your
- 15:52Speaker 1: wife call workers talked about the size of her but
- 15:56Speaker 1: oh oh she did. Nobody to be talking about her.
- 16:02Speaker 1: In the words of Jermaine Jackson, let's get serious. What
- 16:06Speaker 1: you're saying about you. I brought jer Maine. Hadn't take
- 16:11Speaker 1: that Lamborghini back then, miss Jack and tell me him
- 16:13Speaker 1: he came back down anyway, got off this butts up
- 16:16Speaker 1: to focus. Did you hear what I said? Did you
- 16:19Speaker 1: hear my question? What I said? How would you like
- 16:23Speaker 1: it if your wife's male co workers talked about the
- 16:26Speaker 1: size of her butt? Yeah? What I didn't hear you? Okay,
- 16:32Speaker 1: what's up? Tosh? You would jump on me? Not? I
- 16:36Speaker 1: was just saying it's inappropriate. Yo was hunting to jump
- 16:40Speaker 1: on my shirt? Yeah, I'm talking to me. Well, if
- 16:46Speaker 1: they do, I got all my money on Tosh and Nest.
- 16:50Speaker 1: You have no faith? You ain't got no faith to God?
- 16:56Speaker 1: Not whipping too grown media any way. I just see
- 17:01Speaker 1: my point now in that field, I even if we
- 17:07Speaker 1: weren't married though, but still in it. Pro Yeah, you think,
- 17:12Speaker 1: and I think I think we can talk about yours. Uh.
- 17:17Speaker 1: I think the ladies on this show are absolutely fabulous
- 17:20Speaker 1: and for you, Tommy Tommy to come to that turn
- 17:24Speaker 1: them into ornate objects here and I get you and
- 17:30Speaker 1: represent Oh, you better watch what you say, sir. I'm
- 17:34Speaker 1: the very one who had because you're gonna say something
- 17:36Speaker 1: ignorant this morning. But we get out of here. Oh yeah,
- 17:39Speaker 1: we're banking on it. Oh my money's on that. No
- 17:45Speaker 1: matter what I say, when they get on the internet,
- 17:47Speaker 1: it's going to be different. Come on, what is it
- 17:55Speaker 1: that you're saying on the internet? What? What? What are
- 17:58Speaker 1: you saying? That starts everything? All of anything said evidently
- 18:06Speaker 1: of somebody? What is it? I warned Snoop by wild Neil,
- 18:12Speaker 1: you just told him to be smart about to come
- 18:14Speaker 1: about to be smart? Then I said, then you know
- 18:16Speaker 1: surely then when you said and respect the office of
- 18:19Speaker 1: the Presidency, I said, you have to. That's because when
- 18:24Speaker 1: you've given out advice, you gotta put it in a tone.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Even though Snoop as an artist, I fully agree with
- 18:30Speaker 1: his power, but they've taken that and turned that all
- 18:33Speaker 1: around to now stevee and lost his fan base. And
- 18:36Speaker 1: he don't man to hell wrong with y'all. They play
- 18:40Speaker 1: differently here. It comes all kind. He lost his base.
- 18:48Speaker 1: He's not the same. He doesn't bring up the issues
- 18:50Speaker 1: on his show of What the President. He doesn't talk
- 18:52Speaker 1: negative about the President. And I'm through. I'm through talking negative.
- 18:57Speaker 1: I spent a year a year trying to get here.
- 19:02Speaker 1: We Clinton elected on this show. We did everything yes,
- 19:07Speaker 1: and the Democratic Party blew it and it's frustrating. So
- 19:15Speaker 1: now I ain't entertain nobody else down business. I don't care.
- 19:19Speaker 1: I'm trying to do the work that I'm put here
- 19:22Speaker 1: to do, and that's to change these young people's lives
- 19:25Speaker 1: and change them by the hundreds, by the thousands, and
- 19:29Speaker 1: God will it by the mills. That's what I'm gonna do,
- 19:33Speaker 1: and that will happen, in the words of Malcolm X,
- 19:37Speaker 1: by any means necessary. Now, all right, Steve, let's leave
- 19:40Speaker 1: it right there. We got you. When we come back
- 19:45Speaker 1: from the break at thirty four after something funny, it's
- 19:48Speaker 1: gonna be another right or wrong from the nephew and Junior. Steve,
- 19:51Speaker 1: you're the judge. We'll be back. You're listening to Steve
- 19:55Speaker 1: Haw Thirty four minutes after the hour. Thirty four minutes
- 20:00Speaker 1: after that, we're back. There is something funny coming up? Yeah,
- 20:04Speaker 1: what what is? There? Is something funny? Uh? Probably another
- 20:10Speaker 1: ignorant right. I gotta right or wrong. I want to
- 20:12Speaker 1: drop on y'all. I'm just every just trying to be right.
- 20:18Speaker 1: I'm trying to get through to here to Junior. That's
- 20:21Speaker 1: what I'm not You're not gonna get through to me. Man, Okay,
- 20:24Speaker 1: I bet you. Everybody agree with me on this next one.
- 20:27Speaker 1: We'll see. Yeah, with your mission, and gentlemen, we are
- 20:37Speaker 1: here with another rendition of ignorant or not wrong or
- 20:45Speaker 1: not right wrong. Okay, damn, it's such an even segment.
- 20:52Speaker 1: I forgot the name. Okay, Dog, Now I promise you
- 20:58Speaker 1: you're gonna be on my side. If one synchronized swimmer drowns,
- 21:06Speaker 1: ain't they all supposed to drown? Dog? Just think about it. Okay,
- 21:16Speaker 1: this is what I told Junior last night. If one
- 21:19Speaker 1: synchronized swimmer drowns, they all have to drown. It's not
- 21:25Speaker 1: part of the bit though I don't. Don't they have
- 21:30Speaker 1: to drown together in the same way, Tommy, it's secret.
- 21:35Speaker 1: Go ahead on It's called what synchronized? What swimming? And
- 21:41Speaker 1: when I'm drowned, women, listen to me. Listen to me.
- 21:47Speaker 1: If one of them drowned, he no longer swimming. So
- 21:51Speaker 1: his answer is off the team. That's worse. That makes sense. Okay,
- 22:00Speaker 1: roberta drowned high ass is off the team. Now let
- 22:05Speaker 1: somebody else drown and see what you be. But see
- 22:09Speaker 1: if I see you drowning. Why don't gonna drown myself though?
- 22:12Speaker 1: Because you're sincronized boy, But the person that's drowning ain't swimming,
- 22:19Speaker 1: and we just we just synchronized drowning team to be
- 22:22Speaker 1: a suicide. Okay, Can I ask you something real quick?
- 22:27Speaker 1: We got a little bit more time. Can I ask
- 22:28Speaker 1: you something else? This is where he hung up. Tell
- 22:33Speaker 1: him there is no way in the world that Noah
- 22:38Speaker 1: had woodpeckers on his art. Tell him, because that they
- 22:44Speaker 1: would have put holes all in the art and they
- 22:47Speaker 1: would have drowned. There's no way they would have win
- 22:49Speaker 1: forty days and forty nights. There's no way he had
- 22:52Speaker 1: woodpeckers on that earth. So where the woodpeckers come from? Yeah?
- 22:57Speaker 1: Because they don't had a car too. That's the question
- 23:02Speaker 1: I'm asking. How did the woodpeckers getting because they weren't
- 23:06Speaker 1: on the arc. There's no way they was on the
- 23:10Speaker 1: because what if they were on their what they wouldn't
- 23:13Speaker 1: put holes all in that art and they wouldn't have
- 23:15Speaker 1: made it forty days and forty nights like that. And
- 23:22Speaker 1: this is when he hung up on me and not
- 23:27Speaker 1: handling the problem no sense. Wait, where they come from
- 23:30Speaker 1: tom they here, I don't know, they just weren't on
- 23:33Speaker 1: the arc and Junior said they had a cocktoon, so
- 23:42Speaker 1: they saw they came from somewhere. I need you to
- 23:45Speaker 1: make a decision on this. It said, all the foul
- 23:53Speaker 1: of the air and beast of the lad body in
- 23:57Speaker 1: as pans. Then what oh, they probably had a woody
- 24:05Speaker 1: woodpecker post. You don't win all they could just peck
- 24:09Speaker 1: their little hards that. You don't think that boat would

- 33:30Speaker 1: get the tickets tickets on sale right now you're listening
- 33:34Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Answer. There's no evidence
- 33:39Speaker 1: to support Trump's assertion anywhere. I have no information that
- 33:43Speaker 1: supports those tweets, and we have looked carefully inside the FBI.
- 33:47Speaker 1: The Department of Justice has asked me to share with
- 33:49Speaker 1: you that the answer is the same for the Department
- 33:51Speaker 1: Justice and all its components. Trump now says, you heard
- 33:54Speaker 1: the alleged bugging on Fox about about the alleged bugging
- 33:57Speaker 1: on Fox News. On another matter, call Me, and the
- 33:59Speaker 1: director of the National Security Agency, Mike Rodgers, confirmed that
- 34:03Speaker 1: an investigation is underway into any possible relationship between Russia,
- 34:07Speaker 1: the presidential election, and members of the Trump campaign. The FBI,
- 34:11Speaker 1: by the way, rarely acknowledges the existence of any ongoing
- 34:14Speaker 1: pro publicly accept as Comey says in unusual circumstances. Confirmation
- 34:18Speaker 1: hearing is now underway for President Trump's nominee for the
- 34:21Speaker 1: Supreme Court, Neil Gorsage, and Republicans are urging Democrats to
- 34:25Speaker 1: vote on Gorsage on the merits and not politics. That's
- 34:27Speaker 1: what Republicans want the Democrats to do. However, Senator Dick Durbin,
- 34:30Speaker 1: who was a Democrats, says last year, while the GOP
- 34:33Speaker 1: refused to even allow Mr Obama's nominee, Married Garland, a
- 34:36Speaker 1: traditional courtesy call, and that at least the Democrats will
- 34:40Speaker 1: act like legislators should act. The Democrats of the Senate
- 34:43Speaker 1: Judiciary Committee will extend to you a courtesy which Senate
- 34:46Speaker 1: Republicans denied to Judge Garland, a respectful hearing and a vote,
- 34:51Speaker 1: and Neil Gorcage faces questioning today. The Governor of Arkansas
- 34:54Speaker 1: says he intends to sign a measure in the law
- 34:56Speaker 1: later on today that splits that state's dual observances of
- 35:00Speaker 1: Federate Robert Elie and Dr Martin Luther King's birthdays. Governor
- 35:04Speaker 1: Asa Hutchinson says today's signing ceremony is gonna be a
- 35:06Speaker 1: healing moment for Arkansas and one he says, well let
- 35:09Speaker 1: the nation know that Arkansians can come together on sensitive
- 35:13Speaker 1: cultural issues. Sad news, it's been reported that now apparently
- 35:16Speaker 1: confirmed that the great running back Gail Sayers has been
- 35:19Speaker 1: officially diagnosed with dementia. Gail Sayers the youngest player ever
- 35:23Speaker 1: inducted into the Hall of Fame at age thirty four.
- 35:25Speaker 1: You may remember that actor Billy Dee Williams portrayed Gail
- 35:28Speaker 1: Sayers and Brian's song about his friendship with the late
- 35:30Speaker 1: Brian Piccolo. In any case, Gail Sayers sue the NFL
- 35:37Speaker 1: over his dementia in and today is International Day for
- 35:42Speaker 1: the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, National Single Parents Day, National
- 35:47Speaker 1: Memory Day, which is affecting me, and National Common Courtesy
- 35:51Speaker 1: Day or Thank You Day. He might get my memory
- 36:01Speaker 1: together because I need to thank you, thank you, thank you,
- 36:03Speaker 1: thank you for listening. Now back to Steve Harvey. Morning, Joe,
- 36:07Speaker 1: thank you, miss saying saying thank you so much, thank you,
- 36:12Speaker 1: thank you, thank you from the bottom and every other
- 36:17Speaker 1: part of my heart. And I truly, truly do mean me.
- 36:23Speaker 1: All right, we come now to the question of the week.
- 36:26Speaker 1: Have you ever texted someone the wrong message or didn't
- 36:30Speaker 1: hang up the phone and that person heard something you
- 36:33Speaker 1: didn't want them to hear. I think everyone has done this.
- 36:38Speaker 1: Call us and tell us all about it. Eight seven
- 36:40Speaker 1: seven nine, Steve. That's eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve.
- 36:44Speaker 1: And let's start with you, Steve. I know you've done it.
- 36:49Speaker 1: Have you ever texted someone the wrong message? You know
- 36:52Speaker 1: it was meant for someone else, and you don't text
- 36:55Speaker 1: a whole group of people. Yeah, yeah, I didn't text email.
- 37:03Speaker 1: I don't know. I didn't thought the phone was hung
- 37:05Speaker 1: up and seeing. Yeah, that's the question from this lady
- 37:10Speaker 1: I was doing business with and I said, man, I
- 37:15Speaker 1: can't stand click. She was still on. How do you
- 37:25Speaker 1: know she heard you? Though, the next day she said, uh,
- 37:29Speaker 1: you know when we hung up the phone in your
- 37:31Speaker 1: step So yeah, yeah, she said I hadn't hung up
- 37:35Speaker 1: And then you said you can't stand me, and then
- 37:39Speaker 1: you hung on. I said, how you know I was
- 37:43Speaker 1: talking about you? She said, because you were talking to me.
- 37:48Speaker 1: I said, oh, okay, now you know the fact still stand.
- 37:57Speaker 1: It has got to be on my face thing I
- 37:59Speaker 1: can't stand. I've done everything, Shirley, I've I've yeah, man,
- 38:06Speaker 1: you've had a life, haven't. I put the phone on mute.
- 38:12Speaker 1: I thought it was mute, but I hit the speaker button. Oh,
- 38:18Speaker 1: because the mute button is directly across from the speaker,
- 38:23Speaker 1: and I just saw the little look like a megaphone.
- 38:27Speaker 1: So I hit that because don't know not micaphone. Microphone
- 38:31Speaker 1: is mute, the megaphone is speaker. You know what the
- 38:36Speaker 1: sound coming out? I hit that because I ain't want
- 38:39Speaker 1: them to hear me speak. So I hit that I
- 38:42Speaker 1: was on speaker. I said, a man, can y'all believe
- 38:47Speaker 1: this dumb ass pressure right here? Thankfully for the fall
- 38:49Speaker 1: for this right here. I'm not trying to do none
- 38:51Speaker 1: of this, sugar honey iced tea. They heard the old thing,
- 39:02Speaker 1: so Mr Harvey, this is all just a bunch of
- 39:06Speaker 1: sugar honey ice tdo. Then I hit the mute button
- 39:13Speaker 1: because I thought I was a mut and I said,
- 39:15Speaker 1: what you say? Now? I can't nobody hit me because
- 39:18Speaker 1: I didn't actually hit the mute man. When I discovered
- 39:24Speaker 1: that I had accidentally hit that speaker button, god dog,
- 39:28Speaker 1: I came back to the meeting laughing, boy, I'm crazy,
- 39:37Speaker 1: you are crazy. That's funny. I didn't sent the wrong
- 39:41Speaker 1: picture to something that right there? Wait, let me guess, yes, Ni,
- 39:50Speaker 1: so what happened? Who just sent it to? My mistake?
- 39:55Speaker 1: You really want? Yeah? We do? Oh my god, baby?
- 40:02Speaker 1: What is we doing here? What's going on? You're listening
- 40:06Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You know, ladies and gentlemen,
- 40:11Speaker 1: prepare yourselves. I know you've been waiting all morning for
- 40:16Speaker 1: this V segment of all segments only in his mind.
- 40:23Speaker 1: But fly the beauty I already here that don't even
- 40:35Speaker 1: said your baby and mama buy you? What the boyd?
- 40:41Speaker 1: My man? Thank you? Well? I love it when you
- 40:44Speaker 1: come through. Man. Serious, Oh Meal, I almost called your butterfly. Hey,
- 40:52Speaker 1: oh neal go what's up about man? How you doing you?
- 40:57Speaker 1: What's oil? Man? Ohmeal? My? He wrote? What's a boy?
- 41:00Speaker 1: My dad? Right? Okay, first of all, I'm supposed to
- 41:03Speaker 1: be doing my part of the shower. Then we're talking
- 41:06Speaker 1: about planning flowers today. That's what's on my blog. So
- 41:09Speaker 1: don't interrupt. I don't nobody a body, no damn flowers time.
- 41:16Speaker 1: So that's so well that who want okay, who who
- 41:20Speaker 1: want to do flowers? I don't nobody? Do you want

- 41:30Speaker 1: talking about daffodils and um ivy's and what's the y'all?
- 41:36Speaker 1: The one I'm drangs now, that's it's that. That's not today.
- 41:41Speaker 1: It's another one, Shirley, I'm trying to think of. It's lily's.
- 41:46Speaker 1: It's the lily. Okay, right there right there? Who who
- 41:51Speaker 1: in the lily? I like lily, you know, easter spring,
- 41:59Speaker 1: So you in the lilies though in the lily spring?

- 42:09Speaker 1: Don't do that. You've been popping out and it's just unacceptable.
- 42:12Speaker 1: So we're gonna talk about planning flowers for the summer
- 42:15Speaker 1: and getting it out and this is just a good
- 42:17Speaker 1: time to start planning and you can just watch your
- 42:18Speaker 1: flower grow throughout the rest of the year. Do you
- 42:21Speaker 1: do you plant flowers? Carla, Shirley, I don't plant them,
- 42:25Speaker 1: but I pick them. I get them at the store.
- 42:28Speaker 1: You know, yeah, big on gardening, but I love fresh flowers.
- 42:33Speaker 1: Flowers I do like the home. What you could do
- 42:36Speaker 1: some funeral flowers or something here, dude, a little gardening,
- 42:43Speaker 1: just a little bit. Okay, what do you see a
- 42:47Speaker 1: lot of people like to do flowers. So I'm gonna
- 42:49Speaker 1: be planning some. Um. I love some flowers. You know
- 42:52Speaker 1: that they're very good for the summer. Then you know
- 42:53Speaker 1: the yellow ones with the ground in the middle of
- 42:56Speaker 1: this beautiful to me. Ivy. I love Ivy because you
- 42:59Speaker 1: know when you plant went out and he just go crazy.
- 43:01Speaker 1: They run all over the plan. So I really really
- 43:03Speaker 1: love that. So this is what I want. You want
- 43:04Speaker 1: to do is to get into you know, planting, And
- 43:09Speaker 1: why don't you do do this right here? If you're
- 43:11Speaker 1: gonna do this, hell, give people into garden and raise yoursels.
- 43:15Speaker 1: Some que coming with some grains or something like this
- 43:17Speaker 1: here if you're gonna do something, so you get eat

- 43:49Speaker 1: the way he does. He pops in. It doesn't respect
- 43:51Speaker 1: what's going on. And I want people to take the
- 43:55Speaker 1: blog seriously that what he was a damn loud anybody,
- 44:00Speaker 1: what do you do? Come on, what do you is
- 44:03Speaker 1: a blow? What is a blow? Maybe you could tell

- 44:34Speaker 1: We'll be back with our question of the day, our
- 44:37Speaker 1: question of the week. Okay, I don't want to hear
- 44:39Speaker 1: about new day. You're listening to the Stry Morning Show.
- 44:45Speaker 1: Our question of the week. We've all been there. Have
- 44:48Speaker 1: you ever texted someone the wrong message or didn't hang
- 44:51Speaker 1: up the phone and that person heard something you didn't
- 44:54Speaker 1: want them to hear. Call and tell us about it. Okay?
- 44:57Speaker 1: Eight seven seven eight seventh even nine, Steve, all right,
- 45:06Speaker 1: we'll go into the phone. Our question of the week.
- 45:09Speaker 1: It's a good one. Have you ever texted someone the
- 45:12Speaker 1: wrong message or didn't hang up the phone, and that
- 45:14Speaker 1: person heard something you didn't want them to hear. Call
- 45:18Speaker 1: and tell us about it. Eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve,
- 45:21Speaker 1: let's go to line too and talk to Jay out
- 45:24Speaker 1: of Tennessee. Ja. Yeah, have you ever texted someone the
- 45:28Speaker 1: wrong message? Jay? Oh man, it wasn't a text. Come
- 45:35Speaker 1: all right. For first of all, to all your listeners,
- 45:39Speaker 1: please do not try this at home. Come on, all right.
- 45:44Speaker 1: So about five years ago, I was living in Miami.
- 45:49Speaker 1: I got out of military, I was married. I was
- 45:52Speaker 1: still married right now. Um, so me and my boys
- 45:57Speaker 1: we were linking up. We linked up at the club
- 45:59Speaker 1: and we were like, yo, they kind of came to
- 46:03Speaker 1: me about three females that that were interested. So I
- 46:06Speaker 1: was like, all right, whatever, let's I'm down, let's go.
- 46:10Speaker 1: So I had to call the wife up and you know,
- 46:13Speaker 1: give give the reason why it will be out. So
- 46:16Speaker 1: I called her up and I told a WHI I
- 46:17Speaker 1: was gonna out, And apparently I guess I didn't hang
- 46:22Speaker 1: up the phone. Yeah, And so we were talking about
- 46:27Speaker 1: everything and whatnot, and we got in the car. So
- 46:30Speaker 1: I guess I can't blame her for this. She she
- 46:33Speaker 1: listened to the whole conversation and so but my thing,
- 46:38Speaker 1: I guess my defense was at first, you know, I
- 46:40Speaker 1: had to I had to have some type of defense.
- 46:42Speaker 1: I was like, well, why are you listening to the conversation?
- 46:44Speaker 1: So whatever case, So she didn't let me. Can I
- 46:48Speaker 1: say this for you? That didn't last long, don't did it?
- 46:51Speaker 1: Maybe a day or two? But then the apology comes
- 46:54Speaker 1: and she listened to that whole phone call, just sat
- 46:57Speaker 1: there and listened to it. Uh, it was like about
- 47:00Speaker 1: forty five minutes. So you was talking to the girls
- 47:05Speaker 1: and she was listening. Well, it transitioned for me talking
- 47:09Speaker 1: to to my to my two friends, to us approaching
- 47:14Speaker 1: the girls and talking to the girls and then leaving
- 47:17Speaker 1: with them. Oh hold on, So what what time you
- 47:22Speaker 1: got home that that night? Man? I came home the
- 47:25Speaker 1: next morning, the next morning, how about? Yeah? That was
- 47:35Speaker 1: That was probably the dumbest thing I've ever done in
- 47:37Speaker 1: my life. Hey, dog, you came home the next morning.
- 47:41Speaker 1: M h who Shirley Murdi man, y'all still married? Yeah,
- 47:46Speaker 1: she forgave y'are still married. She forgave you. It was
- 47:53Speaker 1: a lot of damage control. So so when you walked
- 47:55Speaker 1: in the house, walked me through that, Paul, Yeah, home man,
- 48:00Speaker 1: all right, So obviously I told you all. My first
- 48:03Speaker 1: defense was, uh, I really realized she was listening to
- 48:08Speaker 1: the phone call. So I hung up. Then I knew.
- 48:10Speaker 1: I knew when I got home I was. I was
- 48:12Speaker 1: pretty much roasted. So I had pretty much concocted this
- 48:17Speaker 1: idea about the whole listening to the phone call. And
- 48:19Speaker 1: you know, and because us three weeks, I mean, the
- 48:22Speaker 1: three guys ended up leaving after we were done with
- 48:25Speaker 1: our business. We left them in their hotel room, and
- 48:28Speaker 1: so we went back to my homeboy's house. That's why
- 48:31Speaker 1: I spent the night. Yes I did something with those girls,
- 48:34Speaker 1: but yes, I did spend the night at my homeboy's house.
- 48:37Speaker 1: So we were talking about the whole situation because we
- 48:41Speaker 1: knew what was because I obviously looked at my phone
- 48:44Speaker 1: and said like forty eight, like twelve or something like that. Yeah,
- 48:51Speaker 1: there was a lot of minutes that went by at
- 48:55Speaker 1: this hotel room, all three you and your board all
- 48:58Speaker 1: in the same room. Yeah, that's that. That that yeah,
- 49:01Speaker 1: that wasn't that wasn't a question though I try to
- 49:08Speaker 1: in the same room. Yeah, what what is y'all? Toil man,
- 49:16Speaker 1: the military pay. How many bids was in there? It
- 49:24Speaker 1: was too bad on the sofa in there. I'm gonna
- 49:27Speaker 1: look up in the middle of night to see your
- 49:29Speaker 1: behind in that. It was. It was. It was pretty
- 49:34Speaker 1: much pitch dark. Yeah, molden pitch that's it. That's how
- 49:38Speaker 1: you bump into somebody else. Somebody gonna touch me and
- 49:44Speaker 1: we don't need all the damn lights. Yeah, okay, but
- 49:51Speaker 1: we but one zipper in the room. This is crazy man,
- 49:58Speaker 1: all right, Jay, thank you dude. He went on. The
- 50:01Speaker 1: Next morning, she listened to that conversation for five minutes
- 50:07Speaker 1: by these callers. Here we come back after the break
- 50:12Speaker 1: for the break food break, phone call time. You're listening
- 50:17Speaker 1: Steve Morning Show. Watch your fortnutes after the hour coming
- 50:25Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour. You know what
- 50:26Speaker 1: it is. It's strawberry letter time. You know. I don't
- 50:29Speaker 1: even look forward to this no more. Why cause that ignorant.
- 50:35Speaker 1: We know that going in the strawberry break it is
- 50:40Speaker 1: a half hour eagerness and people. What you got? Cake lady,
- 50:48Speaker 1: that's the break, big dog, cake lady lady? What work
- 51:02Speaker 1: can this is barbary? Yeah, I need to ask you
- 51:05Speaker 1: what kind of cakes do y'all make at this place. Well,

- 51:38Speaker 1: was supposed to have hand them ontowna on it, and
- 51:40Speaker 1: it was supposed to say happy birthday. Now the cake
- 51:43Speaker 1: get delivered over there today and I can't, for the
- 51:47Speaker 1: life of make believe that this is happen. Were in
- 51:48Speaker 1: her classroom, all the classmates, and there some teachers in there.
- 51:52Speaker 1: The principle that came down we've been to have cake
- 51:54Speaker 1: and ice cream for the kids, and when they open
- 51:56Speaker 1: up the cake, it's a man's private party on the cake.
- 52:00Speaker 1: What oh no, sir, No, sir no, sir no, something no,
- 52:04Speaker 1: we have never made a mistake like that. Mistake. I've
- 52:08Speaker 1: been calling this place all damn date, y'all haven't made
- 52:11Speaker 1: this damn mistake, and somebody gonna pay for this. I can't. No,
- 52:16Speaker 1: you're gonna have to lower it down now, okay, because
- 52:18Speaker 1: we can't get nothing settled if you're yelling and I
- 52:21Speaker 1: can't hear you. Okay, Lord that you should have Lord
- 52:23Speaker 1: that private part off that cake. That's how sir? What
- 52:27Speaker 1: is your name? My name is Trevor. And now where
- 52:30Speaker 1: was the cake? Is supposed to be going? Middle school?
- 52:34Speaker 1: Middle school? Now? When was it delivered to? I just
- 52:37Speaker 1: don't see them since there right there? You can't remember.
- 52:39Speaker 1: That's how y'all made the damn mistake, sir. Please just
- 52:42Speaker 1: answer the question so we can get this settled. Sir. No,
- 52:45Speaker 1: what is the owner there? Excuse me? I am the owner.
- 52:48Speaker 1: My name is Bob. Now, if you give me the information,
- 52:52Speaker 1: I'll try to make this thing right because it couldn't
- 52:54Speaker 1: have been my company. Are you absolutely sure, sir? I'm
- 52:57Speaker 1: positive y'all are the ones that delivered it their listen,
- 53:01Speaker 1: I got all these thirteen year old kids and their
- 53:03Speaker 1: chromatized and the teacher. Okay, looking at me, crazy, sir,
- 53:10Speaker 1: But I need to calm down just for a minute.
- 53:12Speaker 1: Let me ask you this. Wait, wait, you want me
- 53:13Speaker 1: to come. You should have took that private part down.
- 53:17Speaker 1: I can understand, but I don't think it was my company, okay,
- 53:20Speaker 1: because we've never made a mistake like that. Now, we're
- 53:23Speaker 1: very careful with that kind of stuff. Now, certain, hold
- 53:25Speaker 1: on one, come here. Do you know anything about a cake?
- 53:29Speaker 1: Deliver a Hannah Montana cake? Going to middle school today? Y'all?
- 53:33Speaker 1: Did y'all make any deliveries? Okay, thanks, sir. I just

- 53:45Speaker 1: sure it was my cousins? Damn show this place, lady.
- 53:49Speaker 1: It's just like your driver line. You know, you know,
- 53:52Speaker 1: mistakes can be made, but I can't. I can't make
- 53:55Speaker 1: a mistakes like you got a man's private part in
- 53:58Speaker 1: front of a bunch of thirteen year kids. That are
- 54:00Speaker 1: I can understand. I would be upset to. I have
- 54:03Speaker 1: children too, so I can understand what you're trying to say.
- 54:05Speaker 1: But said, what I'm trying to tell you is this
- 54:07Speaker 1: is not my company you're talking about. We wouldn't have
- 54:10Speaker 1: done anything like that. I've been in business with thirteen years.
- 54:13Speaker 1: What is your name? My name is Barbara. Okay, so
- 54:16Speaker 1: you're the one behind all of this on this damn cake.
- 54:19Speaker 1: It is full of behind the montana and want up
- 54:21Speaker 1: be in a man's private party on the cake. Say,
- 54:24Speaker 1: come on to stop and think about your school and
- 54:29Speaker 1: a duck cake to a school. Now, I understand you upset.
- 54:33Speaker 1: Do you understand what has happened at my daughter's school?
- 54:37Speaker 1: And I apologize for it, sir, But I don't believe
- 54:40Speaker 1: that you ordered the cake from my company? Okay. As
- 54:42Speaker 1: a matter of fact, we made cakes on Friday, sir.
- 54:45Speaker 1: Wasn't no cake delivered today? Sir? It's a Tuesday, and
- 54:48Speaker 1: what the hell? I ain't nobody cake on today? Sir.
- 54:52Speaker 1: I have told you that that couldn't have happened here
- 54:55Speaker 1: at my company. Okay, let me know. Okay, I'll be
- 54:59Speaker 1: happy make a cake for you, sir, and to send
- 55:02Speaker 1: it to your daughter. But sir, it wasn't my company.
- 55:05Speaker 1: That don't won't no more damn cake. Let me tell
- 55:07Speaker 1: you something. Let me tell you what I'm going to do. Lady.
- 55:10Speaker 1: I'm gonna call my lawyers. I'm gonna get with the police,
- 55:13Speaker 1: and I'm coming over there to shut that down. You
- 55:16Speaker 1: won't sell a cupcake when I get through with y'all. Sir,
- 55:19Speaker 1: you know what you don't going to fun. Let me
- 55:21Speaker 1: tell you something. This is my business that I've worked

- 56:30Speaker 1: I ain't listen what you got to say to me.
- 56:33Speaker 1: This is nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 56:36Speaker 1: You just got pranked by your girlfriend. Oh my god,

- 57:02Speaker 1: on the radio. You ain't on the radio now, but
- 57:05Speaker 1: you're gonna be on there in the morning. Oh lord, No, no,
- 57:08Speaker 1: my preaching. Everybody else gonna be on it. Oh mind,
- 57:11Speaker 1: I'm gonna kill it. I'm gonna kill it. I'm gonna
- 57:14Speaker 1: get me a cake and go to her job. Uh lord,
- 57:19Speaker 1: Oh lord, I'm gonna get somebody. Stop playing like that.
- 57:23Speaker 1: You know she's gonna have to look out every day.
- 57:25Speaker 1: She ain't gonna never where it's coming from. I'm gonna
- 57:27Speaker 1: be like the thief in the night on her. I
- 57:34Speaker 1: gotta ask you one more thing. What is what is
- 57:37Speaker 1: the baddest I'm talking about the baddest radio show in
- 57:41Speaker 1: the land. Stieves Hart and Bonn and show y'all, what
- 57:48Speaker 1: can you make it? Can you make a socke to
- 57:50Speaker 1: the cake? Yeah? I can make a socker tell your cake,
- 57:52Speaker 1: but even hope it ain't got a gun in it, y'all,
- 57:54Speaker 1: don't get round. That's what somebody like that. They buses
- 57:58Speaker 1: them if you look at for stupid. This weekend, the
- 58:01Speaker 1: Nephew will be in Dathan, Alabama. That's right, that's Saturday
- 58:05Speaker 1: March at the Civic Center and everybody in my head
- 58:09Speaker 1: is coming to the stage. You hear what I said,
- 58:11Speaker 1: the Nephew Dothan, Alabama. Ye, you're listening to the Steve
- 58:15Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Hold on tight scrawberry latter three. This
- 58:24Speaker 1: is a long one too. Subject. Please please please read
- 58:28Speaker 1: my letter. I think you're a letter all this job
- 58:35Speaker 1: all right, here we go. I am writing you a
- 58:36Speaker 1: letter all the way from sunny South Africa. Wow, obviously
- 58:40Speaker 1: the radio station will not be correct. Then, Uh, Steve,
- 58:44Speaker 1: After twenty five years, I finally met the man of
- 58:46Speaker 1: my dream and he's going to ask me to marry him.
- 58:49Speaker 1: He's been honest with me since we started dating, and
- 58:52Speaker 1: told me that he has been married before and has
- 58:55Speaker 1: a three year old daughter with his ex wife. He
- 58:57Speaker 1: is thirty two, by the way. As soon as he
- 59:00Speaker 1: told me this at first, I was shocked cried a bit.
- 59:03Speaker 1: Then I turned around and told him that I would
- 59:05Speaker 1: stand by his side no matter what and we can
- 59:08Speaker 1: deal with this together. He also got very hurt through
- 59:11Speaker 1: all of this, and that's when I decided I'm not
- 59:13Speaker 1: here to make his life any harder. I want to
- 59:16Speaker 1: make it better. Our problem is that whenever I think
- 59:19Speaker 1: about my wedding day, I keep thinking he's been through
- 59:22Speaker 1: this before, and I want it to be as special
- 59:25Speaker 1: to him as it will be to me. He tells
- 59:27Speaker 1: me every day how much he loves me, he wants
- 59:30Speaker 1: to provide for me, he wants to protect me, and
- 59:32Speaker 1: he has assured me uh that there is absolutely no
- 59:36Speaker 1: comparison between me and his act. His family never liked her,
- 59:40Speaker 1: they never approved of her, and they absolutely love me
- 59:43Speaker 1: and my paranoid I asked him that if there is
- 59:46Speaker 1: anything in his house left of hers, even if it
- 59:49Speaker 1: is just a candle, that she thought, he must please
- 59:52Speaker 1: get rid of it. He went and did it the
- 59:54Speaker 1: same day. Our love is so strong for each other,
- 59:57Speaker 1: and I don't want to ruin it with my paranoia.
- 59:59Speaker 1: I just need to know that I am number one
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: in his life, even though he has told me this
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: a million times. Kind regards, mad Lane, PS. Loved your book.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: Act like a lady, think like a man. Okay, Madaline,
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: Yes you're acting paranoid. You're tripping, And what are you're
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: tripping for? I mean you have the man of your dreams,
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: so you say those are your words, not mine. This
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: all happened before you. It's in the past, and there
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: is nothing you or anyone else can do about the past.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: All right, you, um, really are creating some problems before
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: you're You're even married to this man, and that is
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: the problem right there. So what, he was married before
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: and has a child, he's thirty two, he's lived a
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: little experience some things in life. It didn't work out
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: for him the first time. So he found you, fell deeply,
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: madly in love. What love with you? He wants you
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: as his wife. He's been honest with you from the start.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: You need to let this go. You are tripping. Please
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: don't bring these problems into your marriage, or you will
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: have some issues on your hand. Go ahead, you are tripping,
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: that's all you're doing. You don't even have a problem here.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: The man ain't even asked you to marry. Then you
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: he'd being honest with you. He tells you that he's
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: been married, he has a three year old. You break down, crying.
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: The hair wrong with you. I'm telling you you, this
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: can't be your reaction every time he come in the
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: house with some news. Now, it ain't like y'all just
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: been dating that he'd go asked, you know, but the
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: while back he told you he was married and had child.
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: That's just honesty, comments sense, honestly just and threw you
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: into something. Then you decided after that, after you cried
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: and everything and was shocked, and you turned around told
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: him that you're gonna stand by his side no matter
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: whatn't we could deal with this together. He was already
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: dealing with it now here. You're crazy ass and came
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: in here with it like like you always gonna be
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: all right now, baby, baby, we could get through it now.
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: Jesus help us. This since the most traumatic thing I've
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: ever heard in a new couple's life. You have a
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: former wife and a child all Lord Jesus man, this
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: dude e a cheat on here. I need hear you
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: what this's gonna call. You're gonna have a reaction day.
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: He's gonna be You're gonna be on cops. Oh my god.
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: And then you said you're not here to make his
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: life any harder. He got very hurt through all this. Yeah,
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: because you tripped. Want to him? I just told you
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: the truth. Okay, then I want to make it. My
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: problem is that whenever I think about my wedding day,
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: I keep thinking he's been through this before, and I
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: wanted to be as special to him as it is
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: for me. Look, special to us as men is different
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: from special to you as women. Okay, Look, it's our
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: wedding day. Is not our wedding day. It's your wedding day.
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: It's what you've always dreamed of. How you imagine it
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: to be. A guy never dreams of his wedding day.
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: A man dreams of of the woman of his dreams.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: You all dream of the man of your dreams. And
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: you have a dream of a wedding day. We don't
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: care what color the gowns in it. We don't care
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: if you have doves at it. Who bringing the ring down.
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: You don't care if you got monkeys lighting the candles.
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: We really don't give a damn. Can we just get
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: this over with? Man? I love you girl, but man,
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: all listen here. What's color tux? We? I want you
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: to wear black? Part two if Steve's response to today's
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: Strawberry letter, We'll be back. You're listening to the stew
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: All right, y'all, I got part two? Yeah, yeah, don't
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: go Marty's letters right here. Somebody helped me. All right,
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: back to this letter, Steve subject, please please please read
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: my letter regards ma'am over in Africa. I love you.
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: I want to just to say thank you for buying
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: the book and listening. But ma'am relaxed. You have everything
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: you need here. You don't. Don't run the man off
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: by bringing up stuff to even important. Now you know
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: he didn't. He want to ask you, the man. He's honest.
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: What you told you used to be married and have
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: a daughter. But every time you think about your wedding day,
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: I keep thinking he's been through this before, and I
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: want this to be as special to him as it
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: is to me. Well it's not, ladies, let me look.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: Let let me just hit you to something. The day
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: is special to us, it means something to us, that
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: mean but it could never equate to what it means
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: to you. If that's that's not our dream of our
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: wedding to day, that's one of your dreams. You want
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: to your dream of the man of your dreams and
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: your wedding day. All we dream about is the woman
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: of our dreams. What's she gonna look like? What's she
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: gonna give me? What can I get from her? How
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: she gonna do me? How she gonna do it to me?
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: That's all. I'm sorry. I hate to break this to me.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: That's all we're thinking about. Now. You want to know
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: if if you you are you paranoyed. I've asked him
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: if there's anything in his house left of her, even
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: if it's just a candle that she bought, he must
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: please get rid of it. He went and did it
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: the same day. Okay, Well is it? Was it the
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: candle or what else you find? Does he have a
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: draw with her drawls? And now? If he has a
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: draw with her drawls and it, then you have a problem,
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: you know, you know, I don't wonder what you want
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: to throw in candles? Is it baby clothes in the house.
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: You know, is it a swing set? You know if
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: your look and this is when you know your man
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: got a problem if he come to pick you up
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: and he's driving and winning bagel and it got a
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: swing set on top. Okay, now now you probably need
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: to need to ask some questions. You know. If it's
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: pictures of her and the baby propped up all over
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: the house, then that's the problem. The man the removed
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: the candles. You know, maybe how about you know, I
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: don't know what Maybe some he is in her pajamas,
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: you know, I don't know. If you're found and you
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: ain't never been in hers before, I don't know what
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: it is you could find in your house. But relax, though,
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: get yourself together. What do you want to be nice
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: to the little baby? I just want her to be
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: nice to the baby. She's not. Yeah, well you don't
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: think you think she's gonna mistreat the baby. I'm gonna
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: tell you right now, this baby right here can't even
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: go over that by the steps in the room. I'm
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: gonna tell you right now, don't do that. Now, that
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: would be awful if she did that. She's not gonna act.
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: But because I think because she's twenty five, I think
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: she has a little bit of a not understanding that
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: people want. They get up in a certain they're gonna
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: have some history. So just just relax, enjoy your life,
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: enjoy your wedding day, focus on your wed day in
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: your marriage. Here is over with He he's certainly ain't
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: gonna bring it up less you bring it up. Please, No,
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: we will not bring it up unless you bring it up.

- 1:10:14Speaker 1: Thank you. Very good morning everybody. All right, this is Andrew,
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: good morning, all right. The head of the FBI and
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: the head of the National Security Agency answered no when
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: lawmakers on Capital Hill asked them about President Trump's insistence
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: that President Obama ordered his phones tap. Director James Colemey
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: left no doubt as to what his agency in the
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: Justice Department found. The answer NA, with respect to the
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: President's tweets about alleged wire tapping directed at him by
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: the prior administration, I have no information that supports those tweets,
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: and we have looked carefully inside the FBI, they had
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: the National Security Agency Mike Rodgers refuted Trump's claims about
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: all that wire tapping. Also, both men say that a probe, though,
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: is going on into possible ties to the last presidential election,
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: the Trump campaign and the Russian Yes, why are we
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: tapping somebody the phone who ain't saying that? Things? Saying that?
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: Who tweets and not on the phone. That's a point,
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: that's a point. That's a point. The President United States
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: does do a lot of tweeting. We wonder what he
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: ever is on the phone. So, yeah, that's that's the point.
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: But we'll see. But apparently that has been debunked by
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: the FBI and the National Security Agency, and now the
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: president says, well, I got it from Fox News, and
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: the commentator on Fox News who supposedly said that has
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: been removed from the air for now, at least for
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: saying for claiming that the President was white tapped. Moving on,
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: the U. S. Senate has begun his confirmation hearing for
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: President Trump's Supreme Court nomination Neil Gorsuch. Gorsi's nominated to
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: fill the spot on the High Court left vacant by
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: the son of Death last year of ultra conservative Justice
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: antonin Scalia, and here we go again. Shaq Diesel now
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: says in his podcast called The Big Podcast with Shock
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: that the world is flat coast and flat to me.
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: Have you looked outside of the Atlanta late and seeing
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: all these buildings so you may tell me that China
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: is under us. I'm just saying when I drive from
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: Florida to New York flat. Okay. Yeah, he said the
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: same thing a month ago. But we thought we were
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: saying that as a joke. So I mean we really know.
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: But now Shack is saying that like he really believes it,
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: and that maybe he doesn't think of China's under us.
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: Okay whatever. Anyway, she's not really loving it, that's right.
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: In Indiana, mom called the cops on her daughter for
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: whacking her upside the head with the McDonald's cheeseburger. The
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: mom was sitting in the dry through lane when she
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: told her three nine year old daughter to move and
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: hurry up out of the lane. The door to flipped
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: out and hit her in the face with a burger.
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: Come on, I mean, that is not nice, and that's
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: not That's not the way love is. I don't think
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: so that's not the way it goes, though, Genesis, that's
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: the way love goes No Gene with two A'll be
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: all right, thank you, miss, and we're gonna go to
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: the phones when we come back. Here's the question of
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: the week. Have you ever texted someone the wrong message
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: or didn't hang up the phone and that person heard
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: something you didn't want them to hear. We'll call us
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: and tell us all about it. Eight seven seven nine,
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: Steve will be there. You're listening to the Steve Harvey

- 1:14:35Speaker 1: send at the picture. I'm also in the midst of
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: texting girl back and forth. So we turned around and

- 1:21:21Speaker 1: the girl in the car with me, We roll it,
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: oh man. She couldn't say not because we was in

- 1:21:35Speaker 1: on this phone right into a telephone time. I got
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: to just break that whole passenger side of Sometimes modern
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: technology is not good. What you're doing right, right, you
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: know what you're doing. And it came in loud and
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: clear two times. I'm talking about surround own everywhere. Right.
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: You've heard Tommy's story, call us and tell us yours.
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: Have you ever texted someone the wrong messager didn't hang
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: up the phone, and that person heard something you did
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: not want them to hear. Call us and tell us
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: all about it. Eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve, let's
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: go to line three and talk to t out of
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: New Jersey. Hey, Hey, how are you doing? You ever
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: did it text on conversation you didn't want nobody here,
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: and then they heard it. Well, it was a couple
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: of years ago, but there was a club over Philly
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: called Mali and me and my girlfriend. She's passed on now,
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: but anyway, so we was going to the club. You know,
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: we linked up with these DJs over here in the
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: Jamaican room. Now I'm sorry, I gotta start whispering. My
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: husband just woke up and like I say, this was
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: before him. But so we h we go to the
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: club and we link up with these DJs. Now he's
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: real DJs. Now I don't heard them on the radio.
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: Case seems station because then I'm telling on myself, are real? Right?
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: Go ahead. So we're going over to where we're going
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: to this after our spot called the Upper Debt. And
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: we get over there and I get a phone call.
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: So I'm on the phone and it's a dude. We're
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: not in a relationship. He uh, my friend would have
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: benefit and so he called me giving me all the
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: who what we're wearing Wiles house like a dad going
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: school teacher or something. And I don't know what to
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: say because I don't want to lie to him, really
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: I do, But that's my friends. I don't want to.
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: I don't know. I just ain't want to make him
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: feel bad. But he waits, so I'm mad at the situation.
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: Finally get through all his nonsense, I slammed the phone
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: down because I'm not taking the phone the club, gonna
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: go party, I know, sit there and talk to my friend,
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: talked about this fool about fifteen minutes. Next thing I know,
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: I picked up the phone, checking on all my stuff,
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: putting it away. I say hello, he said hello. I

- 1:28:55Speaker 1: for eight minutes after that our coming up. We got
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: time for just one more thing. Whether you're returning or
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: departing from your college break, uh, there are a few
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: givens about your trip. You made memories with your girlfriends
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: that you will cherish forever, and you probably made a
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: few mistakes too, I mean on spring break. Okay, those
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: are just as amusing to relive after the fact. But
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: on your trip, you met or if you're just leaving,
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: you can expect to meet at least one of these
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: typical guys. Okay, Carl and I want to warn you girls,
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: all right, so listen and proceed with caution. Here we go.
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: Number one, the guy who is permanently on spring break.
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: This is a guy who just feels a little too
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: at home on spring break, maybe because he's never been
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: to class, or maybe because his head is permanently in
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: the clouds. All right, so you want to avoid him.
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: Number two the guy who is the cruise clown. He
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: has a potential to get a regrettable tattoo. He will
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: ask why you haven't laughed at his jokes. That kind
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: of guy, okay. Number three the guy who gets drunk
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: and naked, both of those things. What one of those
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: women's magazines. Yeah, in a women's magazine, this is this
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: is mainly for ladies. Uh. Number four. The guy who
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: is not available. Okay, we don't even need to go
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: any further on that. If he's not available, leave him alone. Uh.
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: Number five. The guy who thinks he's immortal. He'll do
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: anything for the Graham, wants to be on spring break forever.
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: That's kind of like the guy who's permanently on spring break.
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: Number six, the guy who will say anything to please people.
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: He's a people pleaser. Don't like beer, neither does he,
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: you know, even though he has a beer in his hand,
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: thinks the music is too loud. He agrees even things
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: like this. These are the kind of guys you want
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: to avoid. Wait, wait minute, wait minute, I'm just I'm
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: just going to break it all the way down when
- 1:31:09Speaker 1: y'all get finished. I'm okay, contrary, well safe whatever, Yeah, contrary,
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: I don't know, okay, alright, ware, alright. Number seven the
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: guy who wants to connect with you anyway. Um, now,
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: this is a possibility. He wants to make sure when
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: you leave spring break you'll still keep in touch by phone, email, texting,
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: social media, etcetera. Friends. Yeah, you just met him for
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: fifteen minutes and you will probably not speak to him
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: ever again though, Like all right, but you've got to
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: promise them, uh huhu. And then number eight, this is
- 1:31:46Speaker 1: the last one, the guy who only packed just one outfit.
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: He only packed one, but he thinks he's so fly
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: though every time you see him, y'all be down there
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: for a week. He got the same tracks. Thing he
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: consider washed off because he'd been in the ocean. Come on, now,
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: salt is a natural cleans. Come on. So these are
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: just a few of the things we want the young
- 1:32:17Speaker 1: ladies to look out for on spring break. Now, young lady,
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: here's the deal. Rule No one, here's the rule. You
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: need to don't do nothing on spring break. Your ass
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: wouldn't do off the break. Okay, here's the other rule.
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: You need to know he lied absolutely no matter what
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: he just go from He lied. Now if you want
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: to go with the lie, go ahead. But he lied. Okay,
- 1:32:44Speaker 1: I got that one. I think that goes to the
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: one the guy who will say anything to please you.
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: Whatever you say, he agrees with it, whether he believes it.
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: And here's another one to everybody like muscles. Oh yeah, yeah,
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: you ain't the only one like his body. A whole
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: lot of women on the beach like his body. Get
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: in line. Oh, I see what you're saying. Get in line,
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: all right, listen, ladies, that's it now, you know that's
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: the game. Now, I'm just tolding ladies. Now, fellas, here's
- 1:33:20Speaker 1: something for the fellas. Spring breaks. You're gonna go down
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: there and you're gonna handle your business, no matter what
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: Uncle Steve's say. So, going to handle your business. Just
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: don't be a dog about it, double standard. Just do
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: not because the' nothing I could tell these boys they're
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: going down there to do it. All I'm trying to
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: get him to do is don't be a dog about it.
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: You don't have to mistreat women. You do not have
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: could be a playoff. Seriously, you could be a player
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: and not mistreat women, which is one a lot of
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: guys at that point. Really, a player is some one
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: who loves women actually supposedly, Yeah it is, I know so.
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: I mean the three guys on this show, y'all went
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: to college? Which which guy were you? The very last one?
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: Verst one? The guy who only packed one outfit? That
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: was you, junior. No, the guy who wants to connect
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: with you anyway? Oh, that one. I didn't care what
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: it was. I said that I was gonna do it.
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: I'm gonna beat it home. Yeah, we didn't have text
