- 1:06Speaker 4: Love you.
- 1:24Speaker 3: You're gonna turn.
- 1:31Speaker 2: I can't.
- 1:41Speaker 3: Have to turn the mouth turn you probably got to
- 1:44Speaker 3: turn the mouth out. The word of the money up, come.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Come out, you think, huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody.
- 2:04Speaker 1: You're listening to the voice.
- 2:06Speaker 5: I said, come on now, dig me to one and
- 2:08Speaker 5: only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Okay, Now, I'm
- 2:14Speaker 5: gonna be really honest with you this morning. I really
- 2:17Speaker 5: don't know what to say. I really don't. I was
- 2:25Speaker 5: sitting here and I was thinking, what do I say today.
- 2:31Speaker 5: I do know that I want to be encouraging, uplifting
- 2:36Speaker 5: and inspirational in some way to affect somebody today. Oftentimes,
- 2:42Speaker 5: these conversations that I have in the morning, they're designed
- 2:47Speaker 5: with me because I needed myself, y'all, to be honest
- 2:52Speaker 5: with you.
- 2:52Speaker 1: I mean, you know who makes the comedian laugh? I
- 2:58Speaker 1: used to say all the time.
- 3:00Speaker 5: And even though what we talk about in the morning
- 3:03Speaker 5: is not a laughing matter, it kind of like is
- 3:06Speaker 5: where I am today. You know, I need motivation in
- 3:10Speaker 5: my life sometimes myself. I think when I get in
- 3:15Speaker 5: moments like this, I often resort back to the same
- 3:21Speaker 5: thing over and over and over. And when I find
- 3:25Speaker 5: myself in certain predicaments, I can always fall back on
- 3:31Speaker 5: the same thing over and over. So while I'm sitting
- 3:35Speaker 5: here trying to figure out what to say to you,
- 3:39Speaker 5: the one thing that I did do this morning that
- 3:41Speaker 5: I find to be very consistent in me is that
- 3:45Speaker 5: I find myself grateful. I'm ever grateful for the things
- 3:51Speaker 5: that God has done for me. I may not always
- 3:55Speaker 5: know what to say, but I know how to say
- 3:58Speaker 5: thank you.
- 3:59Speaker 6: I do.
- 4:01Speaker 1: I know how to remember and reflect back on where
- 4:04Speaker 1: I come from. I know how to realize where all
- 4:10Speaker 1: my blessings come from.
- 4:11Speaker 5: I'm very very conscious of my journey that I've been on,
- 4:18Speaker 5: the one that was from then until now, that journey
- 4:23Speaker 5: right there is it's been.
- 4:26Speaker 1: It's been. It's been. Uh it's been difficult, man, it
- 4:30Speaker 1: really really has. I ain't gonna lie to you.
- 4:34Speaker 4: Me.
- 4:35Speaker 5: Becoming successful was very difficult. But as hard as this
- 4:42Speaker 5: is to say, I really really mean this. I wouldn't
- 4:47Speaker 5: change nothing about the trip I've been on. Number one
- 4:54Speaker 5: because I can't change anything about it. So I never
- 4:59Speaker 5: lived my life and regret. But the main thing is
- 5:03Speaker 5: was I discovered along the way now, not doing the
- 5:08Speaker 5: process when you're going through rough moments that you can't
- 5:12Speaker 5: hardly see the good in it at the time. It's
- 5:15Speaker 5: just rough for you and it seems unexplainable, and oftentimes
- 5:18Speaker 5: I thought it was unfair. But as I am now,
- 5:24Speaker 5: I needed every single thing that happened to me, that
- 5:27Speaker 5: happened to me to happen to me. I hope that makes.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Sense to you.
- 5:36Speaker 5: I needed everything to happen in the exact order and
- 5:40Speaker 5: the exact way that it happened in order for me
- 5:44Speaker 5: to be the person that I've become. And that right there, man,
- 5:51Speaker 5: is just very comforting to me. Mister Jakes told me
- 5:55Speaker 5: one time, he said, the closer you get to God,
- 5:59Speaker 5: the more friendly you all become, the more He will
- 6:03Speaker 5: reveal to you the how it comes and what falls
- 6:09Speaker 5: of a lot of things that's happened to you. Because
- 6:11Speaker 5: a lot of times what troubles us is we just
- 6:14Speaker 5: can't understand why we lost that love one back then.
- 6:18Speaker 5: We just can't understand why we didn't get what we
- 6:22Speaker 5: wanted back then, we just don't understand how come our
- 6:26Speaker 5: plan didn't work out and we had to fail so miserably.
- 6:29Speaker 5: Back then, we don't understand the answers to these things. Well,
- 6:34Speaker 5: the closer I've gotten to God, the more those explanations
- 6:38Speaker 5: have become crystal clear to me.
- 6:41Speaker 1: And See, the one thing that.
- 6:42Speaker 5: I came to the realization everybody is that the things
- 6:45Speaker 5: that was happening to me, they weren't really all bad.
- 6:50Speaker 5: They really wasn't that they didn't taste good. When it
- 6:52Speaker 5: was happening, I didn't enjoy what I was going through.
- 6:57Speaker 5: But as I look back on them and reflect now,
- 6:59Speaker 5: it wasn't all bad. Some of those things were so
- 7:01Speaker 5: necessary for me to get the information because see, I
- 7:04Speaker 5: don't know about you, but I'm kind of hard headed
- 7:06Speaker 5: and stubborn. I said, I don't know about you, but
- 7:10Speaker 5: I'm kind of hard headed and stubborn. I kind of
- 7:14Speaker 5: like to think that I know something about some things
- 7:18Speaker 5: every now and then, and the things I am convinced about.
- 7:22Speaker 5: I don't really really care for people trying to talk
- 7:25Speaker 5: me off mine. So I can be stubborn and hard headed.
- 7:29Speaker 5: Sometimes God knows that about me. So I think to
- 7:33Speaker 5: get some of the messages crystal clear through to me
- 7:36Speaker 5: that I needed to learn. That was this process I
- 7:39Speaker 5: had to go through. That process was my journey.
- 7:41Speaker 1: It was my trip. It was my woe, my pain. See,
- 7:46Speaker 1: everybody got them different, It don't matter what it is.
- 7:48Speaker 5: Everybody got a woe, everybody got a pain, everybody got
- 7:52Speaker 5: a trial, everybody got some tribulations, everybody got some challenge.
- 7:56Speaker 1: I don't care who you are due.
- 7:57Speaker 5: Quit looking at me thinking that I got it going
- 8:00Speaker 5: so tough man, Steve, Yeah, it's easy for you to
- 8:03Speaker 5: say that, but you ain't here.
- 8:05Speaker 1: You don't know why.
- 8:06Speaker 5: Ben, if you would stop hanging yourself up on your past,
- 8:11Speaker 5: worrying about your woes and your troubles and the situation
- 8:15Speaker 5: you in, and start praying and start asking God to
- 8:19Speaker 5: get you through it.
- 8:20Speaker 1: See a lot of times you messed it.
- 8:22Speaker 5: You messed the message up yourself, because when you're going
- 8:25Speaker 5: through some stuff, you ask God to remove it and
- 8:28Speaker 5: take it away.
- 8:28Speaker 1: That ain't the lesson.
- 8:29Speaker 5: You got to learn your lesson Sometimes it's got to
- 8:33Speaker 5: be how to be strong, how to see it through,
- 8:38Speaker 5: how to bear under it, how to carry that weight
- 8:42Speaker 5: long distances for long periods of time. That's how you
- 8:46Speaker 5: get strong The lesson is to make you stronger. But
- 8:49Speaker 5: to make you stronger, you got to carry the weight.
- 8:51Speaker 5: You can't get stronger you don't go to gym or
- 8:54Speaker 5: you're gonna do something at your house to lift your
- 8:55Speaker 5: own body weight.
- 8:57Speaker 1: See, a lot of people can't even do push ups.
- 9:02Speaker 5: They can't get down, and in the course of a day,
- 9:05Speaker 5: give you one hundred push ups because they ain't they
- 9:08Speaker 5: ain't never tried it.
- 9:09Speaker 1: They bouter.
- 9:11Speaker 5: They get to twenty and they're shake it so bad
- 9:13Speaker 5: they stop. That's too much for me. Well, let me
- 9:15Speaker 5: tell you something. So I learned to quit praying to
- 9:17Speaker 5: take stuff away. My prayer became to give me the
- 9:20Speaker 5: strength to handle it. People oftentimes ask me, how do
- 9:23Speaker 5: you do all that you do in the course of
- 9:25Speaker 5: the day. I don't really know.
- 9:29Speaker 1: I just know I can.
- 9:31Speaker 5: Because I know God don't put more on you than
- 9:33Speaker 5: you can bath. So when you ask me how you
- 9:36Speaker 5: do all of what you do in the course of
- 9:38Speaker 5: the day, I got God. God is good. He'll get
- 9:43Speaker 5: you through whatever it is you're going through. So when
- 9:45Speaker 5: you tripping and you don't know what to say, reflect
- 9:50Speaker 5: and be grateful for all you reflect on, think about
- 9:53Speaker 5: God's goodness and watch what he do for you.
- 9:56Speaker 1: That's the cold part, Okay, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls.
- 10:07Speaker 5: Monkey trainers are the choke farmers, basketball makers, basket weavers,
- 10:18Speaker 5: have color specialists, and anybody that works at Fort Knox,
- 10:25Speaker 5: let me have your attention. And anybody's affiliated with anything else.
- 10:30Speaker 5: If you got a job, just listen to this. Ain't
- 10:34Speaker 5: you glad you work? Ain't you glad that you have
- 10:39Speaker 5: the ability to provide the necessities of life. There are
- 10:45Speaker 5: people who don't even have the necessities food, shelter and clothing.
- 10:52Speaker 1: You ought to be grateful for that. Man, I am.
- 10:57Speaker 5: I'm in the wont business, but a lot of say
- 11:00Speaker 5: in the wont business, you just never really looked at
- 11:02Speaker 5: it like that.
- 11:03Speaker 1: If you have food, shelter and clothing, you have everything
- 11:06Speaker 1: you need. That's what you need.
- 11:09Speaker 5: You need food, shelter, clothing, That's what you need to
- 11:11Speaker 5: survive in this world. Those are your needs. Everybody need love,
- 11:16Speaker 5: everybody need a friend. If you got those things, you
- 11:19Speaker 5: got what you need. The rest of you in the
- 11:20Speaker 5: wont business, what else do you want?
- 11:23Speaker 1: Go to God with it? Man, I don't know, but
- 11:25Speaker 1: guess what I wanted to see.
- 11:26Speaker 5: Today, and he gave it to me, and he gave
- 11:29Speaker 5: it to you, and we ought to be grateful for that,
- 11:32Speaker 5: because that's a big gift. Man. Another chance, another day,
- 11:36Speaker 5: another opportunity, that's a big blessing.
- 11:39Speaker 4: Man.
- 11:40Speaker 1: You got to start with that one right there.
- 11:41Speaker 5: If you ain't found nothing to be glad about today
- 11:44Speaker 5: is because you ain't thinking. Open up your mind, see
- 11:46Speaker 5: what God has done, and realize the goodness and grace
- 11:49Speaker 5: of God has always been around you, whether you ask
- 11:53Speaker 5: for it or not. Ladies and gentlemen, this is to

- 12:40Speaker 5: you did go get bought.
- 12:41Speaker 1: To your attention?
- 12:42Speaker 3: Yeah?

- 13:23Speaker 1: last night till I wasn't eating. I knew that then.
- 13:27Speaker 5: Yeah, Junior, have you thanked her for making your plates?

- 15:01Speaker 4: told him to call you. Okay, when you get through
- 15:04Speaker 4: with him, I'm gonna call him back as if I'm

- 15:30Speaker 4: call you back in the minute complaining that we've done
- 15:32Speaker 4: prank him. All right, Okay, all right, God bless you,
- 15:35Speaker 4: bless you. All right, let's go. Hello, how about bring
- 15:39Speaker 4: me that paperwork on apartment three fourteen. Hello, I'm looking
- 15:43Speaker 4: for David. Please. This is David. Okay, this is Gymal
- 15:46Speaker 4: about the Barton Green apartments. Is your mother miss o? Yes, yes, sir?
- 15:50Speaker 4: How can I help you? Okay? We got a problem
- 15:52Speaker 4: here now. I'm the new general manager here and I'm
- 15:55Speaker 4: just getting this thing brought to me about uh, your
- 15:57Speaker 4: mother not saying her water bille or and we got
- 16:01Speaker 4: to get this matter taken in. As of right now,
- 16:03Speaker 4: I've been instructed to actually go in and get your
- 16:05Speaker 4: mother and take her completely out of the apartment building. Okay,
- 16:08Speaker 4: So well, tell me what the problem is. Get to
- 16:11Speaker 4: explain me what the situation is, sir. The situation right
- 16:14Speaker 4: now is no one has paid this water bill whatsoever.
- 16:17Speaker 4: She thinks for lying and standing that she only owes
- 16:19Speaker 4: one hundred and six dollars, and she owes far more
- 16:21Speaker 4: than that. She has not paid a water bill at all.
- 16:24Speaker 4: All right, and you're your mother, and now the first
- 16:27Speaker 4: one to tell you your mother is very rude to
- 16:29Speaker 4: me and put him the door in my face, okay, sir,
- 16:31Speaker 4: So let me, yeah, let me.
- 16:32Speaker 8: I'm just trying to understand the situation. So the water
- 16:35Speaker 8: bill hasn't been paid in how long?
- 16:37Speaker 4: From what I'm looking at, it's at least four or
- 16:39Speaker 4: five months. And what looks like here on the paper.
- 16:41Speaker 8: Okay, so it's four or five months behind us, Yes
- 16:44Speaker 8: it is, okay, and so how much is it.
- 16:47Speaker 4: I'm gonna have to tally all this up and get
- 16:49Speaker 4: everything lined up as far as the numbers as of
- 16:51Speaker 4: right now, sir. If no one is paying this bill
- 16:54Speaker 4: in the next thirty minutes, I am instructed to put
- 16:56Speaker 4: your mother out and pack her things and put her out,
- 16:59Speaker 4: and that's not what I want to do. But as
- 17:01Speaker 4: rude as she was to me, you know, at this point,
- 17:04Speaker 4: I'll tell you what, David, I don't give a damn sure.
- 17:06Speaker 8: So I just need I'm just here to try to
- 17:08Speaker 8: help make the situation better. So I need you to
- 17:11Speaker 8: take a deep breath for me.
- 17:12Speaker 4: And calm down, because I'm I'm tom. So let's just
- 17:15Speaker 4: let you know. I'm I would be. I would be
- 17:18Speaker 4: calm to had your mother not to slam the door
- 17:21Speaker 4: in the face and sens and things before she shut
- 17:23Speaker 4: that door out in that I'd be trying to work
- 17:25Speaker 4: as commonly as you're working that right, So, so what
- 17:28Speaker 4: do we need to do?
- 17:30Speaker 8: I won't be able to do it within thirty minutes.
- 17:31Speaker 9: But how much is it?
- 17:33Speaker 8: Just find out how much it is? You know, from
- 17:35Speaker 8: what my understanding was, it was one hundred and nine
- 17:37Speaker 8: dollars or something, one hundred and six dollars for at
- 17:39Speaker 8: least four months.
- 17:40Speaker 4: That what the problem is? You know what is old
- 17:42Speaker 4: right now? That the one hundred and six dollars, sir,
- 17:45Speaker 4: is one month? How is it?
- 17:47Speaker 8: How was I guess my question is how does the
- 17:50Speaker 8: water bill one hundred and six dollars for one bedroom
- 17:53Speaker 8: apartment with one person. One hundred and six dollars water
- 17:56Speaker 8: bill is kind of how.
- 17:57Speaker 4: Don't you think? I mean, I don't. I don't have
- 17:59Speaker 4: no idea what your mother's doing. I know it runs
- 18:02Speaker 4: a lot of water, or I have no idea about.
- 18:04Speaker 8: It unless she's washing every day and running all the
- 18:06Speaker 8: water every day.
- 18:08Speaker 4: One hundred and.
- 18:08Speaker 8: Sixty dollars for one for an apartment. That's a bit high, sir.
- 18:12Speaker 4: I understand that you have some issues about what the
- 18:15Speaker 4: amount of the bill is. That does not get in
- 18:18Speaker 4: in the middle of the fact of how far far
- 18:20Speaker 4: behind we are. That's the problem we have.
- 18:22Speaker 8: How far behind over you. I'm just trying to I'm
- 18:24Speaker 8: trying to.
- 18:24Speaker 4: Resolve to you we are five months, but how much behind?
- 18:27Speaker 8: So how much is the bill for five months?
- 18:30Speaker 4: I'm getting I'm getting her to tally that up as
- 18:32Speaker 4: of right now. But let's get back to the issue
- 18:34Speaker 4: of someone not being able to get here in thirty minutes.
- 18:36Speaker 4: Is there no one that can get here and take
- 18:38Speaker 4: care of this bill in thirty minus?
- 18:40Speaker 8: Let's figure out how much it is and we'll I'll
- 18:42Speaker 8: try to get that worked out.
- 18:44Speaker 4: So if you can give me kind of tally on
- 18:46Speaker 4: what it is if I had to guess the mate.
- 18:48Speaker 4: I mean, let's look at the fact that here it
- 18:50Speaker 4: is one hundred and six dollars on one month. You know,
- 18:52Speaker 4: let's say it's roughly one hundred bucks each month. You know,
- 18:55Speaker 4: you're looking at five hundred bucks at least. Yes, sir,
- 18:58Speaker 4: I have to say.
- 18:59Speaker 8: One hundred one hundred dollars for us. That's that's the true.
- 19:03Speaker 4: You know the problem that bothers me that you people

- 23:11Speaker 5: Now what you need to do is get your punk
- 23:12Speaker 5: ass to start handling these bee stings. That's what you
- 23:17Speaker 5: need to do. All this going to the doctor like
- 23:19Speaker 5: some little soft ass piece of medicated cotton something. That's

- 24:29Speaker 5: won't go down to the hospital no more. That's what
- 24:31Speaker 5: the hell you get. That's what's wrong with this generation
- 24:34Speaker 5: of men. Now you're two damn soft and you go
- 24:37Speaker 5: to house feel I ain't got any bee stain.

- 25:00Speaker 1: Should I ask hey or not? Act like you didn't

- 25:56Speaker 6: Moving on to Jehane and Dover, John says, my boyfriend
- 26:00Speaker 6: lives with his best friend who's a female. I spent
- 26:03Speaker 6: the night and I asked to use his laptop. It
- 26:07Speaker 6: was in his roommate's room because she borrowed it. He
- 26:09Speaker 6: went and got it, and he came back holding his
- 26:12Speaker 6: do rag.
- 26:13Speaker 1: Did she borrow that too? Is something going on with them?
- 26:16Speaker 1: Why it was his do rag in her room because
- 26:20Speaker 1: that's where the computer was. You gonna take your dow
- 26:24Speaker 1: rag off to work your computer? That's the lot you're
- 26:26Speaker 1: gonna tell me.
- 26:28Speaker 5: She was having trouble with the with the computer. She
- 26:30Speaker 5: couldn't get it on. That's why I wanted that.
- 26:32Speaker 1: Your roommate ain't got money for rent or a dale computer.
- 26:35Speaker 1: Who is this help or do rag? They shared dog? Now,
- 26:43Speaker 1: your do rag is not her heads, golf, her bonnet. Well,
- 26:49Speaker 1: if it's sack and it does the job, huh.

- 38:01Speaker 4: So they tried it. And what they didn't know when
- 38:05Speaker 4: that brother threw that hat up by living in the
- 38:08Speaker 4: ladder that was and all them brothers came from land
- 38:15Speaker 4: see my playing everywhere, and when the whoomen started to
- 38:19Speaker 4: come and believe me, they didn't know what it is.
- 38:22Speaker 4: I tell you all, thebout. It's nothing wrong with our
- 38:25Speaker 4: people's target. We aim, We just had the wrong target,
- 38:29Speaker 4: and this time they had the right target. The aim
- 38:33Speaker 4: has always been good because we're feelings, our kids, our
- 38:36Speaker 4: people are filling right now. But we just been on
- 38:39Speaker 4: the wrong had the wrong target. Aim has been perfect.
- 38:43Speaker 4: But that target was perfect this time, and the aim
- 38:46Speaker 4: was outstanding. And when I tell you, they were around there,
- 38:49Speaker 4: whooping people around, I took a moment of silence, whopped
- 38:53Speaker 4: my kids together. Let this is a black history moment.
- 38:57Speaker 9: I was.
- 38:59Speaker 4: I went up home depo in but every frozen chairs
- 39:03Speaker 4: they had it was for black people. You get a chair,
- 39:07Speaker 4: you get a chail, You get it. Yell, what's the chaff.
- 39:11Speaker 4: Don't worry you might need it. You got a chail,
- 39:14Speaker 4: you get a chair.
- 39:16Speaker 11: Oh.
- 39:16Speaker 4: I was passing out, saying they called me in the
- 39:19Speaker 4: chair man. The chairs is everywhere, because well it was
- 39:23Speaker 4: so beautiful. It gave me a more. I cried, I said, damn.
- 39:27Speaker 4: And then I woke up and hat some popcorn and
- 39:30Speaker 4: washed it again. I slowed it up, and when he
- 39:34Speaker 4: threw that hand up, I said, he comes to who
- 39:36Speaker 4: he do. And they came, and God bless them, killed
- 39:40Speaker 4: all of men. Black people can't swim because that was
- 39:43Speaker 4: a black Michael Fipp flip with a cross man. That
- 39:47Speaker 4: brother got out the water and started laying hands everywhere
- 39:50Speaker 4: and it was beautiful.
- 39:52Speaker 1: It was taking hold off it. Hey on, we'll be
- 39:55Speaker 1: back for more this food right after that Steve list show.
- 40:02Speaker 5: All right, y'all, we back with Steve Harmo to show
- 40:04Speaker 5: our special guests. This morning is the Legend Comedy Legend
- 40:08Speaker 5: one and on the Earthquake Netfix special pushed him back
- 40:12Speaker 5: out there in ways and that we've been talking to.
- 40:14Speaker 1: This food about this Montgomery brawl.
- 40:17Speaker 5: And so what y'all got to do is, let me
- 40:20Speaker 5: say this man, y'all got to go see this cat man.
- 40:24Speaker 5: You know, the majority of people have never seen him live.
- 40:27Speaker 5: The majority of people never saw me live. The majority
- 40:29Speaker 5: of the people never saw Michael Jackson live. It just
- 40:32Speaker 5: that's the fact, you know. And so if you haven't
- 40:36Speaker 5: seen him live, you really need to go see this man,
- 40:40Speaker 5: because what happens, there's something that happens in the audience.
- 40:44Speaker 5: Man once he gets his role going where he does
- 40:48Speaker 5: not take his knee off the neck and the laughter
- 40:52Speaker 5: becomes infectious. And once you understand his cadence because he
- 40:56Speaker 5: has a very very unique cadence which is made him
- 41:00Speaker 5: different from most comedians out there.
- 41:02Speaker 1: Now I have to say.
- 41:06Speaker 5: I sharing that with him because with storytellers, we're not
- 41:12Speaker 5: joke writers. With storytellers, and his stories and his takes
- 41:17Speaker 5: on different things, it's just crazy quake. You're gonna be
- 41:21Speaker 5: on this Saturday. You're gonna be at the country Club
- 41:26Speaker 5: Heels in Illinois. That's about thirty miles outside of Chicago.
- 41:32Speaker 5: So how can they get tickets for that?
- 41:35Speaker 9: Oh?
- 41:35Speaker 4: Man, I think they go to ticketmaster dot com. If
- 41:39Speaker 4: you want pree tickets, just slide to my DM at
- 41:42Speaker 4: the Real Earth. The only stipulation is I'm all out
- 41:47Speaker 4: of men tickets. So you know what I mean, grown man,
- 41:51Speaker 4: nothing but advice. Put your girl on on my d
- 41:57Speaker 4: I put your mom in yours. There's them and uh
- 42:02Speaker 4: and the MBM is very important to me that it's
- 42:04Speaker 4: home and you understand it, see because you did it

- 42:25Speaker 4: We're going to do another special in February. So I'm
- 42:28Speaker 4: looking forward to that too. Yeah, we don't do another
- 42:31Speaker 4: text club. I had a TV show coming out. See
- 42:35Speaker 4: but of course every time they get to the East,
- 42:38Speaker 4: something happening. Now these brothers on strike talking, I'm trying
- 42:41Speaker 4: to put them together. Let's let's write something, put my
- 42:45Speaker 4: show back on the IAT and go back on strike,
- 42:47Speaker 4: you know. So you know, let me get a quait agreement.
- 42:52Speaker 4: You know what I mean. Let's let's get that done.
- 42:54Speaker 4: You know, Life's good.
- 42:56Speaker 5: Hey man, now you're show in DC. Just return going
- 42:59Speaker 5: to your hometown, d C. That's Friday, y'all, September first,

- 43:07Speaker 5: That's National Harbor and it's a night with the legendary earthquake.
- 43:11Speaker 5: So that I want you all to get. So Chicago

- 43:33Speaker 5: to go see this dude. I'm just telling you, man,
- 43:35Speaker 5: I sat there and watch this food. The last time
- 43:38Speaker 5: I think I worked with quake with years ago, that
- 43:41Speaker 5: food went out there and said, I don't know who
- 43:44Speaker 5: the hell gonna marry correct Scott King cost the pressure
- 43:48Speaker 5: that come with her. What can you offer this woman
- 43:51Speaker 5: who was married to a man that's got a street,
- 43:55Speaker 5: a holiday and a school name.
- 43:59Speaker 1: We was in the Bernie went out there and Bertie
- 44:04Speaker 1: building down.
- 44:06Speaker 5: Y'all, he't let it happen. I think we all learned
- 44:09Speaker 5: a lesson that night that the last time I was
- 44:11Speaker 5: a quake man, Quake is.
- 44:13Speaker 1: Worth seeing, y'all.
- 44:14Speaker 4: Quake.
- 44:15Speaker 1: You're gonna give it to him this weekend.
- 44:17Speaker 4: Man, like my my my income guys involved, you know,
- 44:21Speaker 4: on the sun of the boy's money. So I got
- 44:23Speaker 4: the young guineas I tell you, so, Yeah, this weekend,
- 44:27Speaker 4: I'm looking forward to it as always, just to go
- 44:30Speaker 4: to Chicago. They loved me. Then I'm of course coming

- 44:35Speaker 4: know what I mean, And let me know that publish
- 44:38Speaker 4: a person that went to public school that was pushed
- 44:41Speaker 4: through that wasn't be the athlete, can't have a dream?
- 44:47Speaker 1: Get your hands together for the water and on the earthquake.
- 44:55Speaker 1: You're listening.
- 44:57Speaker 6: Morning show coming up in about four min it's after
- 45:00Speaker 6: the hour. It's my Strawberry letter for today and the
- 45:03Speaker 6: subject is if it's not three, don't call me. We'll
- 45:07Speaker 6: get into that find out what that's all about. Coming up.
- 45:11Speaker 6: There's not three, don't call me. That's the subject. But
- 45:14Speaker 6: right now it is time for the nephew and today's
- 45:17Speaker 6: prank phone call. What you got for its neph divorce papers?
- 45:22Speaker 6: Divorce papers? Know anything about the divorce papers?
- 45:28Speaker 1: Okay, early morning the voice papers. Let's go cat up.
- 45:42Speaker 4: Hello.
- 45:43Speaker 1: Hello, I am trying to reach a Jones. Please. My
- 45:47Speaker 1: name is Attorney Guidry from the Bastion Law firm. She available.
- 45:52Speaker 1: How you doing, man?
- 45:53Speaker 2: I'm actually trying to get some business rectified dealing with
- 45:57Speaker 2: your divorce that took place, I guess over the.
- 45:59Speaker 1: Last seven old years. My correct?
- 46:01Speaker 9: Correct?
- 46:02Speaker 2: I got some foul up with your paperwork here. Now,
- 46:05Speaker 2: you guys had some property that you owned together, I
- 46:07Speaker 2: believe in Avendeale, Am I correct?
- 46:10Speaker 1: Correct. I'm looking at your paperwork here, Misses.
- 46:14Speaker 2: Okay, now we're getting down to the property, and that
- 46:17Speaker 2: seems to be where the problem lies.
- 46:19Speaker 1: This is in Avondale.
- 46:20Speaker 2: You guys had some property and you sold it as
- 46:22Speaker 2: you both went and split your ways. Looking at the
- 46:27Speaker 2: paperwork that I have here, it seems like it was
- 46:30Speaker 2: filled out incorrectly. I don't know how seven years has
- 46:33Speaker 2: passed for this to come back and fall on my
- 46:36Speaker 2: desk to be to get rectified. But whatever the dividends
- 46:40Speaker 2: were that you guys took and shared that, you're now
- 46:45Speaker 2: looking as if you're owing mister Jones an additional eighteen
- 46:49Speaker 2: thousand dollars what, ma'am, I don't know. I hate to
- 46:55Speaker 2: be the bearer of bad news, but I wanted to
- 46:57Speaker 2: bring this information to you and see how we can
- 46:59Speaker 2: get it rectified. I'm not looking for you to have
- 47:02Speaker 2: that much money available at today, but I do know
- 47:06Speaker 2: as a as an attorney for mister Jones, I must
- 47:08Speaker 2: say that we're trying to get it taken care of
- 47:10Speaker 2: as soon as possible.
- 47:12Speaker 9: Oh wait a minute, wait, wait back this, So how
- 47:16Speaker 9: do I owe him eighteen.
- 47:17Speaker 4: Thousand every what reason?
- 47:20Speaker 1: Well? The paperwork here ma'am.
- 47:21Speaker 4: Seems to be Yeah, what the PaperWorks say.
- 47:24Speaker 2: It wasn't supposed to be fifty percent, fifty percent between
- 47:27Speaker 2: you and what you all. It should have been seventy
- 47:29Speaker 2: five twenty five and he being seventy five percent of
- 47:32Speaker 2: the property owed to him and twenty five percent.
- 47:34Speaker 9: Oh no, I don't know how what do you know?
- 47:37Speaker 9: Louisa is a community practice? And how could he get
- 47:39Speaker 9: seventy five percent and I get twenty five?
- 47:42Speaker 2: From my understanding that he paid most of the bills
- 47:45Speaker 2: when you guys were living together, And.
- 47:47Speaker 9: I don't have anything to do with that. No, he
- 47:49Speaker 9: didn't paid most of the bills. I work and contribute
- 47:53Speaker 9: to right, and I understand that.
- 47:54Speaker 2: But I understand from what I have here on the paperwork,
- 47:57Speaker 2: and I understand that you'd had some contribution to it.
- 48:00Speaker 2: But it just seems like you did not contribute as
- 48:03Speaker 2: much as he did.
- 48:04Speaker 9: And yes, and did I never heard like this.
- 48:07Speaker 2: I do apologize, man, But what I do need you
- 48:09Speaker 2: to do is is definitely not use that type of
- 48:12Speaker 2: language while I'm on the phone.
- 48:13Speaker 9: Okay, well, look, I don't really have to talk to
- 48:15Speaker 9: you because I know I don't know. I don't owe
- 48:18Speaker 9: no Jones, no eighteen thousand dollars, and he didn't overpay
- 48:22Speaker 9: me because it was communitive profit. I had two children
- 48:24Speaker 9: for him. I left with none yet after and there's
- 48:27Speaker 9: no way I'm going to pay him no eighteen thousand dollars.
- 48:30Speaker 2: Man, I hate to get a little abrupt with you,
- 48:32Speaker 2: but you are going to pay this eighteen thousand dollars.
- 48:35Speaker 1: Now, that's going to happen. Now.
- 48:36Speaker 2: I if I have to garnish your check and do it,
- 48:38Speaker 2: then that's the way it will have to be done.
- 48:40Speaker 2: But the money will be coming to mister Kirk Jones
- 48:42Speaker 2: in the summer of eighteen thousand. Call it backt Yeah, Look,
- 48:48Speaker 2: don't you hang up on me again. Now, if I
- 48:51Speaker 2: have to put a lien on your property or put
- 48:52Speaker 2: a lien on your which one.
- 48:54Speaker 1: Do you want?
- 48:55Speaker 4: Look and talk to me life that I talk to
- 48:58Speaker 4: you anyway I want to to.
- 48:59Speaker 9: Talk about because once I went to Kurk that all
- 49:02Speaker 9: that was over with.
- 49:03Speaker 2: You're gonna pay eighteen thousand dollars, that's what you're gonna do.
- 49:07Speaker 9: Uh huh.
- 49:08Speaker 2: Now, I don't want to have to come to your house,
- 49:10Speaker 2: ma'am to pick up this money, but I will.
- 49:12Speaker 9: I'm not working. I want to know how do I
- 49:15Speaker 9: have to pay him eighteen thousand.
- 49:16Speaker 2: See, you're not working. That's our problem from the start.
- 49:19Speaker 2: That's why it wasn't fifty to fifty. That's why it
- 49:21Speaker 2: was seventy five twenty five because you.
- 49:23Speaker 4: Were not holding the d I work all through the upstate.
- 49:26Speaker 9: That made twenty six.
- 49:27Speaker 4: Years and I worked, Well, what is your butt doing now? Nothing?
- 49:32Speaker 1: Well, there we go. That seems to be the root
- 49:34Speaker 1: of our problem, isn't it.
- 49:35Speaker 9: No, that ain't a rule of no tible, because I
- 49:37Speaker 9: want to know how did Kirk could get eighteen percent
- 49:40Speaker 9: and read that as a community property. He had his
- 49:44Speaker 9: lawny and I had my life. He agreed to it,
- 49:46Speaker 9: and that was that. So I don't know how I
- 49:48Speaker 9: owe him eighteen thousand, ma'am.
- 49:50Speaker 1: That's the way the problem was.
- 49:52Speaker 2: Evidently you didn't read the paperwork that you signed when
- 49:55Speaker 2: you and Kirk separated seven years ago. Now, if you
- 49:57Speaker 2: didn't read your paperwork correctly, this is why comes back
- 50:00Speaker 2: to bite you.
- 50:01Speaker 1: In your butt.
- 50:01Speaker 9: Oh no, it's not. Because I had a lawyer and
- 50:05Speaker 9: he learned his lawyer. We agree with that. That was
- 50:08Speaker 9: back and forward, and we agree with everything he signed
- 50:11Speaker 9: up to and that was done.
- 50:12Speaker 2: Well, maybe you didn't have a lawyer that was worth
- 50:14Speaker 2: for them who didn't read the bottom of the paperwork himself.
- 50:17Speaker 9: And I had a lawyer and thought I had a
- 50:19Speaker 9: good lawyer.
- 50:21Speaker 1: And I understand that man, when that happens.
- 50:22Speaker 4: A lot of a lot of times, I can't believe that.
- 50:25Speaker 9: And I had two children struggle with him, and we
- 50:28Speaker 9: got what we got by both of us worked. And
- 50:31Speaker 9: this he gonna come back and and oh no, I'm
- 50:34Speaker 9: gonna fight this.
- 50:36Speaker 2: When can we expect the payment starting to work on
- 50:38Speaker 2: this eighteen thousand?
- 50:39Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 50:40Speaker 2: Well, I mean I'm gonna have to get a date
- 50:42Speaker 2: or something where I can start getting five hundred dollars
- 50:45Speaker 2: from you per month.
- 50:46Speaker 1: Or something like that.
- 50:47Speaker 9: Yes, indeed, five hundred a month. I haven't worked. I
- 50:50Speaker 9: was working. And when you want to sit, I don't
- 50:53Speaker 9: think I should have to tell you all this because
- 50:55Speaker 9: I need to get talked to me a lawyer, because
- 50:58Speaker 9: I'm not agreeing to anything, because I don't think that
- 51:01Speaker 9: it's not fair. I tell you give me a dad,
- 51:05Speaker 9: not because I'm going to have to.
- 51:06Speaker 4: Get me a lawyer.
- 51:08Speaker 1: I'm trying to keep my composent as an attorney, ma'am?
- 51:11Speaker 9: How do you have the writer?
- 51:12Speaker 4: And I don't have? No?
- 51:13Speaker 5: Say?
- 51:14Speaker 4: So? Over there?
- 51:15Speaker 1: Are you?
- 51:15Speaker 4: Are you?
- 51:16Speaker 1: Have you remarried?
- 51:17Speaker 4: No? I haven't.
- 51:18Speaker 2: Okay, you realize if I don't get the money, then
- 51:22Speaker 2: I don't get paid. Right listen, I'm going to be
- 51:25Speaker 2: down in your area probably on Wednesday. Do you think
- 51:29Speaker 2: you and I can get together and probably talk about this?
- 51:31Speaker 2: Because I want to help you as much as I can?
- 51:33Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 51:34Speaker 9: Because I don't think it's fair to me. When's the
- 51:36Speaker 9: wed I'm not I could be there.
- 51:39Speaker 1: Well, you think that maybe you and I can get
- 51:42Speaker 1: together maybe and work something? O?
- 51:43Speaker 4: Yees?
- 51:44Speaker 9: Because I know I'm not. I mean I cannot afford
- 51:46Speaker 9: to pitch No.
- 51:48Speaker 10: Eighteen hundred.
- 51:49Speaker 9: You know, took the house from it for little or nothing.
- 51:51Speaker 1: And I tell you what, I tell you what I'll
- 51:53Speaker 1: do this. I won't. I won't tell mister Jones anything
- 51:57Speaker 1: but only on one condition. That's me and you being
- 51:59Speaker 1: able to work this thing out behind close doors. What
- 52:02Speaker 1: you mean work it out? I mean work it out?
- 52:04Speaker 9: What do you mean?
- 52:06Speaker 1: What do you think?
- 52:06Speaker 4: I mean? I don't know? Tell me, well, maybe you
- 52:11Speaker 4: know I'm dumb some relations or something.
- 52:14Speaker 9: Why would you want a relationship with me, not.
- 52:17Speaker 1: That relationship, but just you know, maybe kind.
- 52:20Speaker 4: Of kick it, kick your way. I'm dumb, I don't know.
- 52:26Speaker 9: I don't know nothing about life.
- 52:27Speaker 1: I think you know a whole lot about life.
- 52:29Speaker 9: No dumb, But why is you messing with me?
- 52:33Speaker 2: I just want to see if we can maybe get together.
- 52:35Speaker 2: I'll throw all his paperwork out and I'm like, no,
- 52:37Speaker 2: it's not possible. But you meet me Wednesday. I'll make
- 52:42Speaker 2: this thing go away.
- 52:43Speaker 9: I don't believe.
- 52:45Speaker 1: I tell you what else. You ain't gonna believe what
- 52:47Speaker 1: this is.
- 52:48Speaker 2: Nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You just
- 52:50Speaker 2: got pranked by your sister Janets.
- 52:55Speaker 4: You no good?
- 52:58Speaker 5: Huh?
- 53:00Speaker 1: I got Janis on the phone. I got I got

- 53:08Speaker 1: the whole family.
- 53:11Speaker 9: Yes, I'm gonna kick you.
- 53:18Speaker 2: There you have it, divorce papers, don't. Don't everybody get
- 53:22Speaker 2: too all right? Stupid is on the way, and stupid

- 54:41Speaker 1: It could be yours. You never know, buckle Leven, hold
- 54:44Speaker 1: on tight. We got it for you. Here it is
- 54:46Speaker 1: strawberry letter.
- 54:47Speaker 6: Thank you A few subjects. If it's not three, don't
- 54:50Speaker 6: call me. Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm divorced and I met
- 54:54Speaker 6: a man that wanted a relationship with me, but I
- 54:57Speaker 6: wasn't ready for a commitment yet. He used to call
- 54:59Speaker 6: me his fun friend because we hung out and got
- 55:02Speaker 6: drunk and then we'd have a lot.
- 55:04Speaker 1: Of great sex.
- 55:05Speaker 6: I could go a few days without talking to him,
- 55:07Speaker 6: but then he started getting caught up and he wanted
- 55:11Speaker 6: a relationship. I had to bring him back to reality
- 55:13Speaker 6: by doing a threesome with him and one of my coworkers.
- 55:17Speaker 6: Adding a woman to the mix threw him off. He
- 55:20Speaker 6: said that he really did like me, but it is
- 55:23Speaker 6: crystal clear that I'm just with him for sex. He
- 55:26Speaker 6: stopped calling me and he wouldn't answer my calls. I
- 55:30Speaker 6: started to miss this man, and I realized after about
- 55:33Speaker 6: three weeks that I wanted to be with him. So
- 55:36Speaker 6: I popped up at the lounge where we met. He
- 55:39Speaker 6: noticed me and came over to say hello. I poured
- 55:42Speaker 6: my heart out and admitted that I was stupid to
- 55:46Speaker 6: let him go, and I apologized for bringing my coworker
- 55:49Speaker 6: to have sex with us without asking him first. He
- 55:53Speaker 6: told me it's all good, and he said he's moved
- 55:56Speaker 6: on and he is just going with the I asked
- 56:01Speaker 6: if we could go to his house to talk and
- 56:03Speaker 6: have makeup sex. He said I could come by later,
- 56:06Speaker 6: so I went home to freshen up, and when I
- 56:09Speaker 6: walked into his house, my co worker that we had
- 56:13Speaker 6: the threesome with was on the sofa. He laughed in
- 56:17Speaker 6: my face, said they've been hooking up since he ghosted me.
- 56:21Speaker 1: He said he should have known I was trashy.
- 56:23Speaker 6: Early on when I told him, if it's not three,
- 56:26Speaker 6: don't call me, meaning I'm into threesomes. I left hurt
- 56:31Speaker 6: and embarrassed. I thought that all men liked threesomes. I
- 56:35Speaker 6: was trying to be cool, but I had it all wrong.
- 56:38Speaker 6: Did he invite me over to be cruel and seek revenge?
- 56:41Speaker 1: But why? All right?
- 56:43Speaker 6: Listen, Yes, of course he did all of that to
- 56:46Speaker 6: get back at you. Yeah, laughing your face all of
- 56:49Speaker 6: that because you heard him. Obviously, he was mad that
- 56:52Speaker 6: you rejected him. Early on, he was ready for a relationship.
- 56:56Speaker 6: But you said you weren't ready for a commitment, and
- 56:59Speaker 6: so to you know, to fend off his advances and everything,
- 57:03Speaker 6: you introduced him to a threesome with your coworker. That
- 57:08Speaker 6: was your mistake. You do realize that, and now you
- 57:11Speaker 6: want the man back. Well, a lot has happened in
- 57:15Speaker 6: those three weeks you were gone, and you missed out
- 57:18Speaker 6: on a good man. He didn't even want a threesome,
- 57:22Speaker 6: and you basically forced it on him because you say
- 57:25Speaker 6: you thought that's what men liked, well, not this man.
- 57:28Speaker 6: So the lesson here is that you know, if the
- 57:32Speaker 6: man doesn't bring it up threesomes.
- 57:34Speaker 3: That is why are you bringing this up?
- 57:36Speaker 6: Why why are you introducing this into your relationship? Just
- 57:40Speaker 6: because you're not ready for a serious relationship, that doesn't
- 57:43Speaker 6: mean you should introduce your man to a threesome. Where's
- 57:47Speaker 6: the logic in that? I mean, threesomes aren't for everyone.
- 57:51Speaker 6: There aren't for everyone, and you were just doing something.
- 57:54Speaker 6: Now he no longer respects you, he no longer wants you,
- 57:58Speaker 6: and now he's with your co worker. He called you trashy,
- 58:02Speaker 6: But your coworker was also in that threesome. Maybe she
- 58:05Speaker 6: gets a pass because he didn't have feelings for her
- 58:08Speaker 6: at the time.
- 58:09Speaker 1: Now you have to move on because he clearly has.
- 58:12Speaker 1: He clearly has.
- 58:14Speaker 5: Steve is doomed from the beginning. I don't understand people.
- 58:20Speaker 5: I mean, look, you can do what you want to do.
- 58:22Speaker 5: This is a free world, and it's a falling one too,
- 58:25Speaker 5: So we more open about everything now than we've ever been,
- 58:30Speaker 5: you know so, And then you recorded and you got
- 58:33Speaker 5: cyberspace it. This whole thing is wrong from the begin go.
- 58:37Speaker 5: You divorced, You met a man who wanted to have
- 58:39Speaker 5: a relationship with you, but you wasn't ready for a commitment.
- 58:42Speaker 5: So he started calling you his fun friend. Y'all hung out,
- 58:47Speaker 5: got drunk, had great sex, and you could go some
- 58:50Speaker 5: days without talking to him. But then the man you say,
- 58:54Speaker 5: he got caught up, started having feelings for you and
- 58:59Speaker 5: wanted a relation.
- 59:01Speaker 1: So this was your idea.
- 59:03Speaker 5: You said, I had to bring him back to reality
- 59:06Speaker 5: by doing a threesome with him and one of my coworkers.
- 59:11Speaker 1: That's how you bring him back to reality. That was
- 59:14Speaker 1: a good idea. Adding a woman to the mix threw
- 59:18Speaker 1: him off. He said, he really did like me. Now
- 59:22Speaker 1: this man really liked you, crystal clear and I'm just
- 59:26Speaker 1: with him for the sec So.
- 59:27Speaker 5: He stopped calling you, and he wouldn't answer your cause
- 59:31Speaker 5: because now you fooled it. See, he thought he had
- 59:34Speaker 5: something that you really weren't. And he thought he had
- 59:38Speaker 5: something special, and you don't even think you special. See
- 59:42Speaker 5: that's why I tell.
- 59:43Speaker 1: Women all the time, you always got.
- 59:45Speaker 5: To keep yourself special, because that's how we gonna treat it. See,
- 59:51Speaker 5: we gonna treat it the way you treat it. If
- 59:53Speaker 5: you think your thing is special when we get it,
- 59:57Speaker 5: that's how we gonna treat it. But if you you
- 1:00:00Speaker 5: don't think it's special, what you what?
- 1:00:04Speaker 4: You?
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: What you want us to do?
- 1:00:06Speaker 5: And this is a prime example of that. You passed
- 1:00:09Speaker 5: it around to the coworker girl and to him, so
- 1:00:14Speaker 5: he went, oh okay, I thought she was just right here,
- 1:00:16Speaker 5: but she really ain't. Anyway, he stopped calling. You wouldn't
- 1:00:19Speaker 5: take your calls. Then you started to miss this man
- 1:00:22Speaker 5: and realize after about three weeks that you really wanted
- 1:00:25Speaker 5: to be with him. So you popped up at the
- 1:00:28Speaker 5: lounge where we met. He noticed me, came over to
- 1:00:30Speaker 5: say hello. Poured your heart out.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: Admit it.
- 1:00:33Speaker 5: I was stupid to let him go. I apologize for
- 1:00:35Speaker 5: bringing you cowork in to have sex with his lines
- 1:00:37Speaker 5: in first he said it's all good now, he said,
- 1:00:41Speaker 5: now i'd have moved on. I'm just going with the
- 1:00:43Speaker 5: flow now.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: So okay.
- 1:00:44Speaker 5: So now, when I thought I could have something with somebody,
- 1:00:47Speaker 5: you tricked me and told me you was tricky. So
- 1:00:50Speaker 5: now I'm off that right now, I'm just going with
- 1:00:52Speaker 5: the flow. When we come back, I'm gonna show you
- 1:00:55Speaker 5: how to flow go because he told you at the
- 1:01:00Speaker 5: but you didn't know.
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: Right, I'll tell you how to flow.
- 1:01:04Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: Steve.
- 1:01:05Speaker 6: Coming up in twenty three minutes after we'll recap today's
- 1:01:08Speaker 6: Strawberry letter. We'll have part two of Steve's response. This
- 1:01:11Speaker 6: subject is if it's not three, don't call me. We'll
- 1:01:14Speaker 6: get back into it right after this.
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: You're listening hard Morning show.
- 1:01:20Speaker 6: All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:01:23Speaker 6: The subject if it's not three, don't call me?
- 1:01:26Speaker 5: Well, okay, you got a divorce, You met a man
- 1:01:30Speaker 5: really liked you. You wasn't ready for a commitment. Then
- 1:01:33Speaker 5: he after a while he started catching feelings for you.
- 1:01:36Speaker 5: You thought you'd bringing back to reality about inviting the threesome.
- 1:01:40Speaker 5: Into y'all's bedroom. So you had a lady co work
- 1:01:43Speaker 5: at your job come over and y'all had a threesome together. Okay,
- 1:01:47Speaker 5: kind of threw the man off, and so he said, Wow,
- 1:01:52Speaker 5: he thought he had something special with you because he
- 1:01:54Speaker 5: really liked you.
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: He got upset because.
- 1:01:57Speaker 5: You brought this woman in. He thought he had some
- 1:01:59Speaker 5: special cause really liked you. So now he quit calling
- 1:02:02Speaker 5: you and returning your calls, and he don't want to
- 1:02:04Speaker 5: have nothing to do with you. And then after three weeks,
- 1:02:06Speaker 5: you missed the man and you realize, well, I like
- 1:02:08Speaker 5: this guy, and so you decided to catch up with him.
- 1:02:11Speaker 5: So since you wouldn't return your cars, you went to
- 1:02:13Speaker 5: the lounge where y'all met. He noticed you over there.
- 1:02:16Speaker 5: He went up to you and spoke to you. Then
- 1:02:17Speaker 5: you poured your heart out, admitted you were stupid to
- 1:02:20Speaker 5: let him go. You apologize for bringing your coworker have
- 1:02:23Speaker 5: sex with us without asking him first. He told me
- 1:02:25Speaker 5: it's all good, he said he'd have moved on and
- 1:02:29Speaker 5: now he just going with the flow. See, you created
- 1:02:33Speaker 5: this monster. Now you went up. Now you met the
- 1:02:36Speaker 5: monster you created. He just going with the flow. So
- 1:02:40Speaker 5: now you asked right there here you go again and
- 1:02:44Speaker 5: taking it upon yourself. You don't know how to follow,
- 1:02:47Speaker 5: no lead, You always leading. I asked, could we go
- 1:02:50Speaker 5: to his house to talk and have makeup sex. That's
- 1:02:54Speaker 5: what you said. You just went up to the lounge,
- 1:02:58Speaker 5: so you thought, give him a little bit more and
- 1:03:00Speaker 5: then y'all be right back to go. He said you
- 1:03:03Speaker 5: could come by later, so you went onto the house
- 1:03:06Speaker 5: and freshened up. Right then you walked into his house
- 1:03:09Speaker 5: and the coworker that y'all had the threesome with was
- 1:03:12Speaker 5: sitting on the sofa.
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: Uh oh.
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: He laughed in my face and said they've been hooking
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: up since he ghosted me.
- 1:03:23Speaker 5: He said he should have known I was trashy early
- 1:03:28Speaker 5: on when I told him, if it's not three, don't
- 1:03:32Speaker 5: call me. Wait a minute, your that's your mantra. Uh
- 1:03:38Speaker 5: So now you're sitting up in here, and now he
- 1:03:41Speaker 5: told you he knew you was trashy. And when you
- 1:03:45Speaker 5: told him, if it's not three, don't call me, meaning
- 1:03:48Speaker 5: I'm in the threesomes, I left hurt and embarrassed.
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: I thought, all men like threesomes. Have you been listening
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: to this show? I knew you were going to get
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: to that I told you more than one time. I
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: feel about it.
- 1:04:06Speaker 5: I am not the one clear. It was something more
- 1:04:10Speaker 5: that I thought it was. I did not know what hell,
- 1:04:14Speaker 5: what's going on here? It was one of the most
- 1:04:17Speaker 5: traumatic experiences.
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: Of my life. I've scorred from that. It's grown now.
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: It's goodn't that? Yeah? I was well. I was in
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: my forties, I said my forty. Anyway, I ain't. I
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: ain't recovering from that one yet. I ain't got quiet now,
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: just talking about No. I was trying to be cool,
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: but I had it wrong.
- 1:04:50Speaker 5: Do he invite me? I was trying to be cool,
- 1:04:53Speaker 5: but I had it all wrong? Do he invite me
- 1:04:54Speaker 5: over to be cool and secret fenge for why?
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: Well?
- 1:04:58Speaker 5: Yeah, he was being mean because you hurt him. He
- 1:05:04Speaker 5: wanted you for real, and then you introduced him to
- 1:05:07Speaker 5: the Oakie dope. So now he just going with the flow.
- 1:05:11Speaker 5: He don't even want the girl that's over there, because
- 1:05:13Speaker 5: he already knows she trashy too, because he describes women's
- 1:05:16Speaker 5: who want threesomes as trashy.
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: So now he just going with the flow. Now he
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: don't want a relationship.
- 1:05:21Speaker 5: Now he just flowing with the trashy type chicks, and
- 1:05:24Speaker 5: your girl trashy because she came in there.
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: But she a better trashy than you, because he at
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: least he didn't like her. So let me just go
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: and stay with this, right. See that's what a man said.
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: I'm just going with the flow. Oh that ain't a
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: good thing, because that's the flow, funky man.
- 1:05:44Speaker 5: So now, yeah, they're gonna and then, of course he
- 1:05:47Speaker 5: ain't gonna have nothing with her because he know what
- 1:05:49Speaker 5: she is. Because he thinks women who invite three someomes
- 1:05:52Speaker 5: is trashy. That's his opinion. He has every right to
- 1:05:55Speaker 5: feel that way. So you know, she ain't got nothing.
- 1:06:02Speaker 5: She got what you didn't want, and now you want
- 1:06:06Speaker 5: what she got. But now what either one of y'all
- 1:06:09Speaker 5: got is just the flow guide. Now let me tell
- 1:06:15Speaker 5: y'all something about threesomes that I've discovered. Threesomes have no
- 1:06:19Speaker 5: solid footing or future. Oh it's probably exciting, it's probably fun,
- 1:06:25Speaker 5: and it's probably thrilling, and I can understand how a
- 1:06:27Speaker 5: person could.
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: Feel that way.
- 1:06:30Speaker 5: But threesomes have no future. You know why, because you're
- 1:06:34Speaker 5: dealing with three people. It's hard enough to keep one
- 1:06:40Speaker 5: mate happy and be compatible with one person over a
- 1:06:44Speaker 5: period of time. There's no way to do it with
- 1:06:47Speaker 5: three because there's too many wonts, needs, desires, it's too many,
- 1:06:53Speaker 5: too many different things going on in the threesome.
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: You're trying to three people what you think, what you think,
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: what you think? What you think? But Steve, it's so
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: one man.
- 1:07:07Speaker 5: Yes, comment, but it has no future because you can't
- 1:07:12Speaker 5: build a solid relationship with three people.
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: All right, just your comments.
- 1:07:19Speaker 6: Let us know what you think on Today's Letter on
- 1:07:21Speaker 6: Instagram at Steve Harvey FM and check out the Strawberry
- 1:07:24Speaker 6: Letter podcast on the iHeartRadio app. Coming up next, it
- 1:07:28Speaker 6: is Sports Talk with Junior.
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: Right after this.
- 1:07:31Speaker 6: You're listening.
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: Morning show.
- 1:07:35Speaker 6: It is time now for Junior and Sports Talk. What
- 1:07:37Speaker 6: you got, Junior man, Shirley.
- 1:07:39Speaker 7: The news coming out these camps. Oh my gosh, I
- 1:07:42Speaker 7: don't even know what's going on down in Dallas.
- 1:07:44Speaker 3: Now.
- 1:07:44Speaker 7: You know, they said to now that in pre season
- 1:07:46Speaker 7: Dak Preston has thrown nine interceptions already.
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: Yeah, he up to nine in practice already. So it
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: was Monday two, it was three, yeah, yup to nine
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: now now here here another thing though.
- 1:07:59Speaker 7: It got so bad that him and Trayvon Diggs and
- 1:08:01Speaker 7: got into it, and Trayvon then told Dak Prescott, you
- 1:08:05Speaker 7: need to shut your beat up. That's what he told him.
- 1:08:08Speaker 7: Oh my gosh, when you break up. Yes, yes, told
- 1:08:13Speaker 7: him that, and nothing happened. I don't see how anyother
- 1:08:16Speaker 7: fight in cowboy Land. That's what I can't tell me that.
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: I don't want to say, be breaking. He told the
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: blank up. Yeah, b a up? Yeah, oh yeah, shut
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: your b up. I'm going what that cussing.
- 1:08:35Speaker 4: Up?
- 1:08:39Speaker 7: But could you just take that as a quarterback of
- 1:08:41Speaker 7: the team. You just don't even swing or nothing, just gone.
- 1:08:46Speaker 5: Yeah, you know how much Dak may you know how
- 1:08:48Speaker 5: much Trayon. That's a simple difference now it is. They're
- 1:08:52Speaker 5: not gonnad of Dak over track. We're talking about hundred
- 1:08:58Speaker 5: hundred some two hundred million. We're talking twenty one.
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: Yellow Yillo. Yeah, we could take that. They ain't gonna bother.
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: You're gonna take that.
- 1:09:10Speaker 5: I don't know why Trayvon talking to that. But if
- 1:09:14Speaker 5: they do the numbers, I tell you who's gonna be
- 1:09:17Speaker 5: gone first.
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: Well, well, yeah, that's true. A cold boy. He's that boy,
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: pure greatness.
- 1:09:24Speaker 4: Man.
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: I love Treyvon.
- 1:09:25Speaker 5: Yeah, but they need to get it together in Dallas
- 1:09:27Speaker 5: if they get to this every year with Dallas. I
- 1:09:30Speaker 5: told you, man, I love the players on the Dallas Cowboys.
- 1:09:34Speaker 5: I love Jerry.
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: Jones, the owner. I love his family.
- 1:09:36Speaker 4: Man.
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: I think they's some great people.
- 1:09:39Speaker 5: I can't stand that damn star on that hel Man
- 1:09:45Speaker 5: and them talking about the America's team.
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: I just can't stand the Dallas Cowboys. But I like
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: all the players. I like Ezechia. You like all the players, man.
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: The players are some cool dudes, and the owner's cool. See.
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: You gotta understand.
- 1:09:58Speaker 5: The Dallas Cowboys was in the North Division before that
- 1:10:01Speaker 5: was an AFL in the NFL. They was in the
- 1:10:04Speaker 5: same division as the Cleveland Browns. So I hated the
- 1:10:07Speaker 5: Dallas Cowboys at the end of the if you my
- 1:10:12Speaker 5: hate for them continue, so I can't help it. I
- 1:10:15Speaker 5: love all the players and the owners thought they great.
- 1:10:18Speaker 5: Can't staying the Cowboys.
- 1:10:20Speaker 7: Well, you know, we got some week one preseason football
- 1:10:23Speaker 7: this weekend, man, catching games games on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- 1:10:26Speaker 7: So we got games all weekend long. It's preseason though, really,
- 1:10:30Speaker 7: no start is starting. Ain't really none of that we're
- 1:10:33Speaker 7: gonna see.
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: Yeah, but it's better than baseball though, my husband so happy.
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: All right, thank you, junior.
- 1:10:42Speaker 6: And coming up at the top of the hour, Uh,
- 1:10:45Speaker 6: steven man has a run in with his neighbor's wife
- 1:10:47Speaker 6: and he wants to tell the husband about it.
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after this.
- 1:10:53Speaker 6: You're listening morning show, all right, So Carl and slide
- 1:10:59Speaker 6: else as my wife invited a neighbor over for drinks,
- 1:11:03Speaker 6: and the neighbor started talking about how good she isn't
- 1:11:06Speaker 6: doing this thing that I love. She asked my wife
- 1:11:08Speaker 6: that if it was okay to show me, and my
- 1:11:11Speaker 6: wife allowed her to do it. She gave me an
- 1:11:13Speaker 6: out of body experience that day. Now it's so weird
- 1:11:17Speaker 6: whenever I see her husband, because as a man, I
- 1:11:20Speaker 6: would want to know if my wife had hooked up
- 1:11:22Speaker 6: with one of our neighbors in that way.
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: Should I have a heart to heart with this guy?
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: So you want a shot shared in the backyard?
- 1:11:35Speaker 5: Why are you running your mouth? You your wife's let
- 1:11:39Speaker 5: this woman do this to you. Yeah, at buddy, and
- 1:11:42Speaker 5: now you wants to tell the husband your stup.
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: You don't. You don't want to get it done again.
- 1:11:52Speaker 6: That's why, uncle, you don't want to shut it down.
- 1:11:56Speaker 5: You don't see this as a as a gift. You
- 1:12:01Speaker 5: don't recognize this. Talk about the neighborhood. Watch pok, you
- 1:12:09Speaker 5: talk about the homeowners association. I can't believe what.
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: Brother. Let me ask you something, brother, Why would you
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: tell her husband?
- 1:12:18Speaker 6: Because he wants He says he would want to know
- 1:12:22Speaker 6: if his wife hooked up with one of the neighbors.
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: So he is, you know, I guess in his mind
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: trying to do it.
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: Bru.
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: You need to find out. Bru.
- 1:12:30Speaker 5: You're gonna mess around. You're gonna mess around, and this

- 1:12:36Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm gonna give me a house and slid al
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: That's what I'm gonna do.
- 1:12:45Speaker 5: So let me see how this conversation gonna go. So
- 1:12:48Speaker 5: you're gonna go dan dong, you're gonna.
- 1:12:49Speaker 2: Ready to do?
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: Man, Hey, neighbor, Hey man, how you doing?

- 1:13:49Speaker 1: in my eye.
- 1:13:55Speaker 5: It's no is no way, no way to address this
- 1:14:00Speaker 5: subject because before you get to.
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: The how it happened, it's too much can happen before that.
- 1:14:10Speaker 5: You won't even get to the end of this conversation,
- 1:14:12Speaker 5: right because it just brushs stupidest thing you could do
- 1:14:16Speaker 5: is bring this off. Listen.
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: Man, you got a free one. You got it over.

- 1:19:20Speaker 1: you deal with it when you get home. You be
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: up all night.
- 1:19:27Speaker 5: Lord, have mercy because now now you sneaking now, okay, because.
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: I'm always home. My wife faint ever had to look

- 1:20:05Speaker 6: one and only Steve Harvey right after this. You're listening.
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: Morning Show.
- 1:20:12Speaker 6: All right, guys, here we are our last break of
- 1:20:14Speaker 6: the day on this Friday.
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: Wow, it's been a good week. By fast huh.
- 1:20:20Speaker 6: We we got to say thank you to Earthquake for
- 1:20:23Speaker 6: stopping by quake.
- 1:20:25Speaker 4: Uh huh.
- 1:20:27Speaker 6: Make sure you go see him in Chicago and DC
- 1:20:29Speaker 6: and Steve before you get to your closing, we had
- 1:20:31Speaker 6: one more would you rather? Okay, would you rather swim
- 1:20:37Speaker 6: across the lake to help fight or would you rather
- 1:20:40Speaker 6: record it all for social media?
- 1:20:43Speaker 5: No, I want to swim across because the biggest. The
- 1:20:48Speaker 5: biggest thing is my black ass swimming that far. I
- 1:20:52Speaker 5: want to see that happen from the boat in case
- 1:21:00Speaker 5: swim that damn far. That nig war right there was
- 1:21:03Speaker 5: my hero. Yeah yeah, hey, listen, man, these are my
- 1:21:10Speaker 5: toes remarks at that. I was just, you know, I
- 1:21:13Speaker 5: was watching CNN the other night and I was looking
- 1:21:16Speaker 5: at the Republican political polls for the presidency, and there's
- 1:21:21Speaker 5: about eight candidates. There isn't a single Republican candidate that
- 1:21:29Speaker 5: has twenty percent approval of the Republican Party. Christy was
- 1:21:36Speaker 5: at two percent. Tim Scott was at two percent. Uh
- 1:21:41Speaker 5: pit pencel was at three percent. All these other political
- 1:21:47Speaker 5: people were at three percent, two percent. I don't even
- 1:21:51Speaker 5: remember anybody in double digits. Desantist was down in single
- 1:21:57Speaker 5: digit percentage. A double digit approval rating candidate for the
- 1:22:03Speaker 5: Republican Party is Donald J. Trump with fifty four percent.
- 1:22:11Speaker 5: I just sat there and looked at my TV the
- 1:22:13Speaker 5: other day and it just made me realize, man, just
- 1:22:18Speaker 5: how bad a shape this country is really In the
- 1:22:23Speaker 5: Republican Party. Man, I just don't know how you're not
- 1:22:27Speaker 5: ashamed at this point. I just really really don't. And
- 1:22:31Speaker 5: the Republican super pac that's anti Trump has been spending
- 1:22:36Speaker 5: a lot of money with these ads of old Trump
- 1:22:39Speaker 5: supporters who supported Trump with flags and everything, who are
- 1:22:43Speaker 5: now saying I just can't do it. I can't support
- 1:22:47Speaker 5: him as president. And it's not even making a dent.
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: Donald J.
- 1:22:52Speaker 5: Trump is fifty four percent of the Republican choice for president.
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: A man, excuse me, but are you all?
- 1:23:03Speaker 5: You all are just showing me. The Republican Party is
- 1:23:06Speaker 5: showing me that that's just who you are, and you're
- 1:23:10Speaker 5: not even hiding it anymore. You're willing to elect one
- 1:23:15Speaker 5: of this one of the immorlly corrupt people. Why And
- 1:23:20Speaker 5: the only thing I can stand to come up with
- 1:23:23Speaker 5: is that's how you are. You're okay with moral corruption,
- 1:23:28Speaker 5: You're okay with breaking the law as long as you
- 1:23:31Speaker 5: get what you want. That's okay. But I'm not really surprised.
- 1:23:37Speaker 5: That's how you got America. Your forefathers took.
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: America the same way America was stolen.
- 1:23:47Speaker 5: You took this from a series of people, and you
- 1:23:52Speaker 5: made it yours through corruption and killing, deception and war.
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: So that's the.
- 1:24:02Speaker 5: I remember one time watching a protest while Donald Trump
- 1:24:06Speaker 5: was running and these teenage white kids was from this
- 1:24:10Speaker 5: affluent high school and they were protesting against the Native Americans.
- 1:24:16Speaker 5: And the Native American was shouting at this young teenager, said,
- 1:24:20Speaker 5: your forefather stole this country.
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: Don't you understand it?
- 1:24:24Speaker 4: You know what?
- 1:24:25Speaker 5: The white boy's response was, Yeah, I get it. That's
- 1:24:28Speaker 5: the way it goes. So what it happens like that,
- 1:24:32Speaker 5: you take what you want by any means necessary. That
- 1:24:36Speaker 5: was the white teenager response. You know where he got
- 1:24:39Speaker 5: that from? He was taught that that you aren't born
- 1:24:43Speaker 5: that way. You're taught that. And so this Donald Trump
- 1:24:47Speaker 5: resurfacing again as your primary Republican candidate, it just says
- 1:24:52Speaker 5: a lot about the Republican Party. It says a lot
- 1:24:55Speaker 5: about America, man, and we are really that America. Y'all
- 1:25:01Speaker 5: are that sick? You all are okay? How can Donald
- 1:25:06Speaker 5: Trump be the example that you want to show to
- 1:25:09Speaker 5: your kids as who you would want to represent your nation.
- 1:25:13Speaker 5: And you're okay with that with your kids, you're okay
- 1:25:15Speaker 5: with that for your grandkids. Wow, man, that's kind of crazy.
- 1:25:19Speaker 5: So you're actually telling us that we actually have no
- 1:25:23Speaker 5: chance in this country. We don't this country doesn't stand
- 1:25:27Speaker 5: a chance. We're crumbling. Man right in front of our eyes.
- 1:25:33Speaker 5: Because if you can tell me that Donald Trump is
- 1:25:36Speaker 5: good for America, that Donald Trump is good for this
- 1:25:40Speaker 5: country in spite of all the lies he has told,
- 1:25:45Speaker 5: and are you so blinded by that man that you
- 1:25:48Speaker 5: really believe what he's saying? Come on, man, are y'all
- 1:25:52Speaker 5: kidding me? It's so blatantly obvious what he's done. And
- 1:25:57Speaker 5: y'all just support this man whole, and it just leads
- 1:26:01Speaker 5: me to come to one conclusion. It's because that's just
- 1:26:05Speaker 5: how you are. But I've been knowing it for quite
- 1:26:08Speaker 5: some time. It's just amazing how you're willing to prove it.
- 1:26:14Speaker 5: So I can only say thank you because I've known
- 1:26:18Speaker 5: this the entire time, and now you've proved it over
- 1:26:21Speaker 5: and over again. So good luck to everybody else. Make
- 1:26:24Speaker 5: sure you register to vote, because if you don't, he
- 1:26:26Speaker 5: will be president again. And he wants to be president
- 1:26:29Speaker 5: so he can be free from being indicted. That's his
- 1:26:32Speaker 5: real reason. He has no plan for this country. He
- 1:26:34Speaker 5: never had one. He just wants to avoid indictment by
- 1:26:38Speaker 5: becoming a sitting president. That's all it is. We're just
- 1:26:42Speaker 5: dealing with a country full of cowards. I'm glad I
- 1:26:45Speaker 5: ain't want of them. I bet I don't vote is
- 1:26:47Speaker 5: as I don't give damn what y'all say, and y'all
- 1:26:50Speaker 5: sick for voting for him.
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: Thank you, have a great day with talk to God
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: and love me that I don't want to hear from it.
