- 2:13Speaker 5: Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:16Speaker 6: Man, ooh boy boy boy man. God has been good
- 2:19Speaker 6: to me. I can't even.
- 2:24Speaker 5: I can't even put it into words, man, But I try, though,
- 2:27Speaker 5: I try, I try, I try. God does things for
- 2:31Speaker 5: me just right on time. He said, he's so cool
- 2:33Speaker 5: with it. And I happened to run across Joel Oldstein
- 2:39Speaker 5: on television like I often do all the time.
- 2:43Speaker 2: And I was sitting there and he had such a
- 2:47Speaker 2: timely message for me.
- 2:49Speaker 5: A part of it was something that I've said oftentimes
- 2:53Speaker 5: about if you really really want to be successful, if
- 2:58Speaker 5: you really really want to change, if you really really
- 3:02Speaker 5: want to prosper, if you really really want to achieve greatness,
- 3:06Speaker 5: if you really really want to have something in life
- 3:08Speaker 5: that's worth having, if you really really want to accomplish
- 3:11Speaker 5: your goals, you got to push through all of it.
- 3:17Speaker 5: He said that when you get closer to it, the
- 3:21Speaker 5: more difficult it becomes. Did you hear me? He said,
- 3:26Speaker 5: the closer you get to what it is you want
- 3:29Speaker 5: or you need, or you have to have or you
- 3:33Speaker 5: would love to be, it gets a little bit more
- 3:37Speaker 5: difficult when you get closer. He told this story that's
- 3:43Speaker 5: in the Bible that I'd never heard before.
- 3:46Speaker 2: This is what he said.
- 3:48Speaker 5: He said, there was a man who was paralyzed, and
- 3:54Speaker 5: he had heard that Jesus was speaking at a house,
- 4:00Speaker 5: and so he wanted to get there. So he convinced
- 4:03Speaker 5: four of his friends to put him on a stretcher
- 4:08Speaker 5: and carry him for hours to get to this house where.
- 4:14Speaker 6: Jesus was speaking.
- 4:17Speaker 2: He said that along the way, these friends said that.
- 4:24Speaker 5: They went along because he had so much faith that
- 4:27Speaker 5: if he could just get to him, it could be
- 4:30Speaker 5: better that he could if he could just get over
- 4:33Speaker 5: there and he could see him, that he might have
- 4:36Speaker 5: a shot at getting here. And so he said, they
- 4:39Speaker 5: took out along the way, and they walked and they
- 4:41Speaker 5: walked and they walked for hours. And then when they
- 4:45Speaker 5: got there, the house was completely filled with people. That
- 4:50Speaker 5: was absolutely it was packed wall to wall. There was
- 4:53Speaker 5: absolutely no way for the men to get him on
- 4:57Speaker 5: that stretcher in to see Jesus. This is a story
- 5:00Speaker 5: that uh Joe Losting said is in the Bible, and
- 5:03Speaker 5: he was telling it now. I'm just repeating the parts
- 5:06Speaker 5: of it. I got gathered and so he said. They
- 5:10Speaker 5: sat there and they went, wow, man, we walked all
- 5:13Speaker 5: this weight and it's full, and and and and and
- 5:16Speaker 5: and and we can't get there, he said. And then
- 5:20Speaker 5: the guy with the affliction told the four men, if
- 5:26Speaker 5: you get up on the roof and cut a hole
- 5:29Speaker 5: in it and lower me down, I bet I could
- 5:34Speaker 5: see him then, and I bet it to be all
- 5:35Speaker 5: right now. He then said, you must imagined how these
- 5:42Speaker 5: four men must have felt when you carry somebody for
- 5:45Speaker 5: hours on on on on on on on the way.
- 5:48Speaker 5: They had to carry some cloth connected by a couple
- 5:51Speaker 5: of sticks, said the me and shoulders had to be bruised,
- 5:55Speaker 5: had to have deep gouges, and them not cuts, but
- 5:58Speaker 5: just indentations where they had carried the weight of this
- 6:01Speaker 5: grown man for so many hours, and they looked at
- 6:04Speaker 5: him in disbelief, like, man, what are you talking about?
- 6:07Speaker 2: We done walked all this far.
- 6:08Speaker 5: He said, yeah, but if you get up on that
- 6:10Speaker 5: roof and you cut a hole in it and lower
- 6:13Speaker 5: me down, I can see him and when he see me,
- 6:18Speaker 5: it'll be all right. After sitting there and imploring the men,
- 6:23Speaker 5: they went up and did just that, And then the
- 6:27Speaker 5: story that Joe Los Dean said, the man was healed.
- 6:31Speaker 5: But the point he was making was he was saying
- 6:35Speaker 5: that the closer you get to what it is you
- 6:38Speaker 5: really want, the more difficult it's going to become. But
- 6:42Speaker 5: you've got to push through. See, if you don't push through,
- 6:45Speaker 5: you never know. See, you can't get right to the answer.
- 6:49Speaker 5: And because it gets really difficult, started creating those little
- 6:53Speaker 5: saying that we got as people. Well, I guess it
- 6:56Speaker 5: wasn't meant to be. I guess it wasn't Lord's will. Now, man,
- 7:01Speaker 5: I guess you should not give up right now. I
- 7:05Speaker 5: guess you should keep pressing. I guess you should do more,
- 7:08Speaker 5: because see, in all of us, in all of us,
- 7:11Speaker 5: when you've had enough, I want you to know something
- 7:14Speaker 5: you do have a little bit more in all of us.
- 7:18Speaker 5: You can do one more you know. That's one of
- 7:21Speaker 5: my favorite things that I heard Joel Oldstein said, and
- 7:24Speaker 5: it kind of made me feel good. He said, I
- 7:27Speaker 5: always feel like I can do one more anything, and
- 7:31Speaker 5: I tell my friends all the time, I can do
- 7:34Speaker 5: one more man.
- 7:35Speaker 6: I could do one more day. I can do one
- 7:38Speaker 6: more anything. Now Here was the jewel that I never
- 7:44Speaker 6: really knew that Joel Oldstein and God sent to me
- 7:49Speaker 6: I needed to hear. He said that no matter what
- 7:54Speaker 6: you're going through, no matter how long the challenge is
- 7:57Speaker 6: you've been facing, God has an end date for it all.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Did you hear me?
- 8:04Speaker 5: No matter what you're going through, no matter what challenge
- 8:07Speaker 5: you're facing, no matter what situation you've gotten yourself into,
- 8:11Speaker 5: God has an ending date. All you got to do
- 8:16Speaker 5: is keep pressing forward. All you got to do is
- 8:19Speaker 5: hang in there. All you got to do is don't
- 8:22Speaker 5: give up. All you have to do is don't turn back.
- 8:26Speaker 5: There is an end date for all of it, even
- 8:31Speaker 5: when you think you've had enough. And boy, have I
- 8:36Speaker 5: had this conversation with God on several things that I've
- 8:41Speaker 5: been going through, and I've even told him, look, I
- 8:44Speaker 5: got it, man, He said, just keep hanging on. There
- 8:50Speaker 5: is an end date to whatever it is you're going through.
- 8:53Speaker 5: There's an end date to your illness, your sickness, your
- 8:58Speaker 5: tired of being tired. There's an an in date to
- 9:01Speaker 5: this relationship that you can't seem to get through, beyond
- 9:09Speaker 5: over that's like a cancer to you. There's an end date.
- 9:14Speaker 5: But you've got to hang in there. You've got to
- 9:18Speaker 5: keep pushing forward. You cannot turn around. You must not
- 9:23Speaker 5: go back, because when God gets you through this and
- 9:28Speaker 5: you break through to the other side, the reward and
- 9:31Speaker 5: the benefit is far greater than the struggle. I oftentimes
- 9:39Speaker 5: look at some of the things that God has brought
- 9:41Speaker 5: me through in my worst times, and when He brought
- 9:44Speaker 5: me through, I went, wow, Man, now that I understand that,
- 9:48Speaker 5: Now that I'm on the other side and I have
- 9:50Speaker 5: the benefit of the reward for it, would you do
- 9:53Speaker 5: it all again to get that?
- 9:55Speaker 2: Yes, I would.
- 9:59Speaker 5: Show ladies and gentlemen, the time has come for us
- 10:05Speaker 5: to take just a moment, a pause, and tell our
- 10:08Speaker 5: heavenly Father how much we appreciate this chance, this opportunity,
- 10:12Speaker 5: to this gift that's called the present. Man, Oh man,
- 10:16Speaker 5: oh man, what a great thing it is to be here.
- 10:19Speaker 5: May everybody knows somebody they care about this no longer here.
- 10:23Speaker 5: It is a blessing to be here. Man, I give
- 10:26Speaker 5: thanks and honor to the most high man. O man o, man,
- 10:30Speaker 5: look at here, the Steve Harvey Martin Show, Sheldon Strawberry
- 10:32Speaker 5: calling for real Mississippi Monica Junior, and the legend that
- 10:36Speaker 5: is Nephew Tommy Jr.
- 10:38Speaker 2: Hell, what's on your mind?
- 10:40Speaker 5: Sir?
- 10:40Speaker 2: Let me ask you a question. You good at this? Man?
- 10:44Speaker 7: I just understand that you good at discipline? You good
- 10:48Speaker 7: at your discipline? How did you learn how to be disciplined?
- 10:51Speaker 7: In chasing your dream?
- 10:53Speaker 5: It waivers from time to time. Discipline is a learned behavior,
- 11:00Speaker 5: not born discipline. Discipline, I believe, is my opinion, is
- 11:05Speaker 5: a learned behavior. It's something that you have to practice
- 11:09Speaker 5: and eventually you can get good at it. But the
- 11:13Speaker 5: number one thing I didn't know it, but my father
- 11:16Speaker 5: introduced me to discipline. And I don't mean in terms
- 11:20Speaker 5: of a spanking or nothing like that, but he always
- 11:23Speaker 5: taught me that the number one thing a man has
- 11:25Speaker 5: to remember, the number one rule of manhood. He taught me,
- 11:29Speaker 5: and I taught my son, do what you say you
- 11:32Speaker 5: gonna do. If you say you're gonna be there, then
- 11:35Speaker 5: be there. Excuses does not relieve you of responsibility. So
- 11:42Speaker 5: do what you say you're gonna do. That was the
- 11:43Speaker 5: first thing. And I had to learn that take this
- 11:46Speaker 5: trash out every Wednesday. And I remember the couple of
- 11:49Speaker 5: times that I didn't take the trash out on Wednesday
- 11:52Speaker 5: because I laid in my bed. I was fifteen years old,
- 11:55Speaker 5: and I heard my daddy dragging him grab trash cans
- 11:58Speaker 5: down the thing and got to go to work too.
- 12:01Speaker 5: My father came up there in my room and sat
- 12:03Speaker 5: on my bed, and my father never did that. He
- 12:06Speaker 5: sat on my bed and he shook me real soft,
- 12:09Speaker 5: and I woke up. I said, yes, sir. He said,
- 12:12Speaker 5: you know something. You a sorry rascal. You just a
- 12:16Speaker 5: sorry rascal. And I just didn't think. I raised none
- 12:19Speaker 5: of them.
- 12:20Speaker 6: And got up and went to work.
- 12:22Speaker 5: And Brother, that shattered me, because for my father, the
- 12:27Speaker 5: one man I wanted to be proud of me, told
- 12:30Speaker 5: me I was a sorry rascal and got up and
- 12:33Speaker 5: went to bed. So I'm going downstairs and I'm shook,
- 12:37Speaker 5: and my Mama looked at me and said, you hurt
- 12:40Speaker 5: your daddy, boy, because your daddy raised you better than that.
- 12:43Speaker 5: And all you got to do is take them trash
- 12:45Speaker 5: cans out on Wednesday. Brother, let me tell you something, man,
- 12:49Speaker 5: that next Wednesday, I was sitting up so early because
- 12:54Speaker 5: I has to get down here so I can redeem
- 12:57Speaker 5: myself from this to this dude could be proud of me.
- 13:01Speaker 5: And that's how I was first introduced to discipline. And
- 13:05Speaker 5: I understood that discipline is just simply you doing what
- 13:10Speaker 5: you say you're gonna do. And discipline is doing what
- 13:13Speaker 5: you have to do even when you don't want to.
- 13:17Speaker 5: That's the true definition of discipline. And you have to
- 13:21Speaker 5: work on that and you can get good. I'm a
- 13:24Speaker 5: disciplined person now. I wave for sometimes, but not all.
- 13:30Speaker 5: I'm here this morning, Ain't.
- 13:31Speaker 1: It all right?
- 13:35Speaker 2: Good?
- 13:35Speaker 1: Lesson Steve coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour,
- 13:38Speaker 1: we will hear from the nephew as he runs that
- 13:41Speaker 1: prank back. Right after this you're listening morning show, It
- 13:47Speaker 1: is time now for the nephew to run that prank back. Nephew,
- 13:50Speaker 1: what you got for us today?
- 13:53Speaker 4: You know what?
- 13:53Speaker 8: You can ride a lot of bikes around here. You
- 13:55Speaker 8: can ride Joe bike. You can ride a lot of

- 19:57Speaker 9: wrong with me. I don't let nobody mess with me.
- 20:00Speaker 9: He said. All you got to do that like you're
- 20:01Speaker 9: gonna do something to his mama.
- 20:04Speaker 10: Man, Well I don't. I don't see it because of
- 20:07Speaker 10: like I be a man guy.
- 20:09Speaker 9: I'm in the mirror.
- 20:09Speaker 10: Sweet, I'm mad for real. Oh yeah, man, tell my
- 20:13Speaker 10: mama she's wrong for that. Two dudes, what up, nephew, you.
- 20:18Speaker 9: Do you boy? You just like me before you know
- 20:21Speaker 9: your mama. I ain't mad at Hey, I gotta ask you,
- 20:24Speaker 9: man one more thing. What is the baddest and I
- 20:26Speaker 9: mean the baddest radio show in the land?
- 20:29Speaker 10: Man, without a doubt, Man, it's the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 20:33Speaker 10: Man will be a few timing man without doubting. Hey, man,
- 20:36Speaker 10: tell me I said, hey, al right, I'm go little
- 20:41Speaker 10: two hundred dollars she wanted. She want to play games though,
- 20:43Speaker 10: you know.
- 20:46Speaker 1: Now, all right, nephew, thank you, Come on here, come
- 20:52Speaker 1: on here. And he doesn't even have a bike.
- 20:54Speaker 2: All right.
- 20:55Speaker 1: Coming up next as the Sealer.
- 20:57Speaker 11: You're listening hard morning show coming.
- 21:01Speaker 1: Up at the top of the hour, and entertainment news.
- 21:04Speaker 1: Amber Rose is shutting down rumors that she's dating Chris Rock.
- 21:08Speaker 1: All right, we'll talk about that. The world's top two
- 21:11Speaker 1: busiest airports are named just ahead of summer traveling, and
- 21:15Speaker 1: the Golden Bachelor and his ex wife now will appear
- 21:20Speaker 1: on Celebrity Family Feud despite their impending divorce. That's all
- 21:26Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour. But right
- 21:28Speaker 1: now it is time to ask the clo. Yeah, three
- 21:34Speaker 1: months what.
- 21:38Speaker 5: I I know.
- 21:44Speaker 1: I know they put them on the show to give
- 21:47Speaker 1: older people hope and all of that, but they don't
- 21:51Speaker 1: want to leave their homes and their family. Yeah all right,
- 21:59Speaker 1: well come on, clo.
- 22:05Speaker 2: Here we go.
- 22:07Speaker 1: I know, take that shocked look off your face.
- 22:10Speaker 6: We were all know I didn't we know that this weekend,
- 22:14Speaker 6: I couldn't hear well, I'd have said something.
- 22:18Speaker 1: That maybe you could have talked him off the ledge. See,
- 22:25Speaker 1: all right, here we go. Felicia and Trenton says, I
- 22:28Speaker 1: went on a first date and the guy ordered for me.
- 22:31Speaker 1: He said we could share our entrees. I didn't want
- 22:34Speaker 1: to do that because we just met. He asked for
- 22:37Speaker 1: half of my food and he gave me half of his.
- 22:40Speaker 1: Is sharing caring or was he tacky for doing that?
- 22:44Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't know. It could be.
- 22:47Speaker 5: It could be looked at either way. I think for
- 22:52Speaker 5: the first date, he shouldn't have did that. You know,
- 22:56Speaker 5: that's attacking. That's damn near marriage, really.
- 23:02Speaker 1: And when you're married, you don't like to share. Really, I'm.
- 23:08Speaker 5: You don't have no damn choice. You let her stick
- 23:15Speaker 5: her fork over there and you say no, you see, we.
- 23:21Speaker 2: Had the same But yeah, you know, I'm pretty sure
- 23:26Speaker 2: you did.
- 23:26Speaker 5: But I don't think he should have did it on
- 23:28Speaker 5: the first date. I think you should, you know, let
- 23:32Speaker 5: her order work to see if y'all got a connection first,
- 23:34Speaker 5: it's just the first date. I don't I don't think
- 23:36Speaker 5: that was a cool thing for him to do. Sharing
- 23:40Speaker 5: ain't caring, not necessarily because I don't care to share.
- 23:45Speaker 1: Yeah, so soon, Yeah, you're right, all right? Moving on
- 23:49Speaker 1: to Ted in Indianapolis, Ted says, my wife said her
- 23:53Speaker 1: friend is staying with us for the weekend. I didn't
- 23:56Speaker 1: know my wife was still her friend. After how she
- 23:58Speaker 1: treated my brother when they dated. My wife said, I'm
- 24:01Speaker 1: holding onto the past. I don't like this chick. Can
- 24:04Speaker 1: I refuse to let her stay?
- 24:08Speaker 6: You don't like the way she did your brother?
- 24:11Speaker 1: Yeah, back when they were dating, right, I don't.
- 24:16Speaker 6: Like this chick.
- 24:18Speaker 5: Well, let me think about this for a second. Bro,
- 24:22Speaker 5: Obviously her and the girl was friends and your wife,
- 24:30Speaker 5: your wife and this girl were friends, and somehow your
- 24:34Speaker 5: brother started dating your wife's friend. Well you didn't know
- 24:38Speaker 5: they stayed friends. But what do their relationship have to
- 24:41Speaker 5: do with your brother and herbite? Say, see that boy
- 24:44Speaker 5: girl thing can't always get in the way of the
- 24:47Speaker 5: girl thing, and the boy girl thing can't get in
- 24:50Speaker 5: the way of the brother thing.
- 24:52Speaker 2: So I don't think.
- 24:54Speaker 5: Now she's staying at the house, that's gonna be a
- 24:57Speaker 5: little bit tight for you.
- 24:59Speaker 2: But you're just gonna have to tighten up.
- 25:01Speaker 1: Because she dogged his brother obviously, according.
- 25:04Speaker 5: To him, Well your brother did something to well, just
- 25:08Speaker 5: and even if he didn't, she come into the house.
- 25:14Speaker 5: Just just don't have your brother over there this weekend.
- 25:18Speaker 1: You know, he don't want to be friendly, acting like
- 25:20Speaker 1: he's friendly with the girl. Well, he ain't got to
- 25:23Speaker 1: act friendly now in his house.
- 25:26Speaker 10: Just be.
- 25:29Speaker 3: Crazy.
- 25:32Speaker 2: Can you pass the gravy please? You can't reach it exactly.
- 25:43Speaker 2: Hey hey, hey, hey, so what's on TV? Shows eddy
- 25:51Speaker 2: with it? You know, Oh you might visit, but it'll
- 25:55Speaker 2: probably be your last one.
- 25:57Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, exactly. All right, so let her stay there,
- 26:05Speaker 1: basically is what you're saying. Go ahead and let her
- 26:07Speaker 1: stay you don't.
- 26:08Speaker 5: Yeah, bro, because you're gonna start an award that you
- 26:10Speaker 5: don't need to finish. And just tell your brother, Hey, man,
- 26:14Speaker 5: my wife's still cool. How I didn't know that she's
- 26:16Speaker 5: staying at the house. Just letting you know, so I
- 26:19Speaker 5: can have a fine.
- 26:20Speaker 1: With with you, that's gonna be mad at the wife.
- 26:24Speaker 2: Oh, I'll make a stank for you, all right.
- 26:28Speaker 1: Moving on, moving on to Yvonne and Henderson. Yvonne says
- 26:35Speaker 1: my coworker is a great kisser and says that's all
- 26:39Speaker 1: he wants from me. I'm fantasizing about having sex with him,
- 26:42Speaker 1: but I just got married. Kissing it's just as good
- 26:48Speaker 1: as sex to me at times? Is he thinking of
- 26:52Speaker 1: getting more? Or is kissing really enough?
- 26:55Speaker 2: So she down?
- 26:57Speaker 5: You ain't got to worry about that. That's a prelude. Yeah, yeah,
- 27:02Speaker 5: kissing is a praise.
- 27:04Speaker 6: You can believe that.
- 27:04Speaker 5: I don't know what you're talking about, dude, I just
- 27:06Speaker 5: want to kiss. I don't know no man with that one.
- 27:10Speaker 5: So you could get ready, y're oh, he won't more,
- 27:12Speaker 5: just like you won't more.
- 27:14Speaker 1: But she just got married, Steve, I heard that.
- 27:18Speaker 5: But you know that's the thing about these questions now,
- 27:21Speaker 5: these people, like I said the other day, these people
- 27:23Speaker 5: come in here with these abnormal situations in these relationships,
- 27:27Speaker 5: and then you want some regular ass nor answer.
- 27:30Speaker 1: But you know, seeing you done.
- 27:32Speaker 2: Made this letter about kissing, you just flew in. I
- 27:35Speaker 2: just got married. Because kissing to me is just like sex.
- 27:39Speaker 2: You know, so is it?
- 27:41Speaker 10: Do he won't?
- 27:42Speaker 2: What the hell you talking about?
- 27:43Speaker 1: Do he won't?
- 27:45Speaker 2: You just got married? What't? You don't hear this?
- 27:53Speaker 5: But if you look at the Strawberry letters and you
- 27:55Speaker 5: listen to these clos.
- 27:56Speaker 2: More and more and more, there is a new normal
- 28:01Speaker 2: in this world. Yeah yeah, and the new normal is
- 28:05Speaker 2: just it's crazy because it's like, I mean, man, I
- 28:09Speaker 2: be listening. Okay.
- 28:10Speaker 5: I was around some young people the other day and
- 28:14Speaker 5: there was some young girls in the room talking and
- 28:17Speaker 5: all of them were going to have their children.
- 28:23Speaker 2: Through you know, how you get the other lady to
- 28:26Speaker 2: have the baby for you. Yeah. All them was.
- 28:30Speaker 6: Wanting to have a surrogate so they don't mess they
- 28:32Speaker 6: body up.
- 28:34Speaker 3: Wow.
- 28:35Speaker 5: I was sitting in the room going, Wow, don't nobody
- 28:39Speaker 5: want their own child no more? So you don't mess
- 28:41Speaker 5: your body up? I mean, man, what happened to that?
- 28:44Speaker 5: I thought, like there were women who longed for motherhood
- 28:48Speaker 5: and you know, like like the ones on our show,
- 28:52Speaker 5: like glad to be a mother and proud of it.
- 28:57Speaker 1: They just don't want to carry the baby.
- 28:58Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 28:59Speaker 2: But see right.
- 29:01Speaker 5: To me, everybody thought, so they don't mess up their body.
- 29:07Speaker 5: I thought the journey was part of it.
- 29:12Speaker 1: In a different world. We are for sure all right.
- 29:16Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, Thank you, Celo.
- 29:18Speaker 1: We'll have some entertainment news for you right after this.

- 29:54Speaker 1: well anyway, Amber Rose, she set the record straight on
- 30:02Speaker 1: Entertainment tonight. She said that she and Chris Rock are
- 30:05Speaker 1: just friends. She said it was not a date. I've
- 30:08Speaker 1: been friends with Chris Rock for like thirteen years. We
- 30:11Speaker 1: met for coffee. We talked some crap to each other.
- 30:13Speaker 1: He made me laugh because he's hilarious, and that's our friendship,
- 30:18Speaker 1: just friendship. Amber also pointed out there were no signs
- 30:22Speaker 1: of PDA when Papa Rozzie spotted them. She added, quoted,
- 30:26Speaker 1: it just becomes unfair sometimes. So what do you guys
- 30:29Speaker 1: think it might make a cute couple if they are.
- 30:33Speaker 2: What it is, that's all it is. That's all it is.
- 30:37Speaker 2: I'm glad, you know what, having coffee with no damn body.
- 30:45Speaker 2: That's that's all I know.
- 30:50Speaker 1: Well, they're both single, old ass home.
- 30:55Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, what's the matter with it?
- 30:57Speaker 11: Yeah?

- 35:34Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah. They lived in different states.
- 35:36Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 35:37Speaker 2: Sorry, So did they say why they divorced it?
- 35:39Speaker 1: Yeah, because they'd live in separate states and they have
- 35:42Speaker 1: families and lives and jobs there, and they did not
- 35:46Speaker 1: want to move. They didn't want to move and leave
- 35:49Speaker 1: their families and stuff.
- 35:50Speaker 2: I give it up, my front poet.
- 35:52Speaker 1: Now, all right, coming up in twenty minutes after the hour,
- 35:57Speaker 1: your nephew has a question for you, Uncle Steve. Right
- 36:00Speaker 1: after this, you're listening.

- 36:27Speaker 5: I don't wear anything a lot, you know, like I
- 36:31Speaker 5: like black boots. But I got a lot of pairs
- 36:33Speaker 5: of black boots I don't want. I like you know,
- 36:35Speaker 5: I used to wear stuff till they woe out right right.
- 36:39Speaker 5: I got so many black suits I don't even know because,
- 36:41Speaker 5: like you know, how you iron black pants, they.
- 36:43Speaker 6: Get shiny on you.
- 36:46Speaker 2: So that ain't that. The boots ain't my concern. That
- 36:48Speaker 2: ain't that ain't want to talk about.
- 36:49Speaker 8: Listen, how many times you think you're gonna wear that
- 36:52Speaker 8: that leopard you had on the other day?
- 36:54Speaker 6: I saw that?
- 36:56Speaker 8: How many times you think before? You don't want that
- 36:58Speaker 8: no more? Because that's that look like somebod I really
- 37:01Speaker 8: won't put on. That's all I'm saying.
- 37:03Speaker 6: That just looks like, Oh you're talking about that leopard

- 37:31Speaker 2: Don't worry about all that.
- 37:32Speaker 5: He's gonna hear it. Boy, If you hear that coat,
- 37:36Speaker 5: it ain't a coat no more. It'll be a jacket.
- 37:40Speaker 5: The last time you had to hem a damn coat.
- 37:46Speaker 5: If from If I give you that jacket and you
- 37:48Speaker 5: hear it, I put it back on, it'll look like
- 37:50Speaker 5: a smock.
- 37:52Speaker 1: So are you saying if he put on one of
- 37:54Speaker 1: your jackets, it'll be a coat?
- 37:56Speaker 8: What you're saying, I can put on one of his jackets.
- 37:59Speaker 8: I can put on one of your jacket. I'm gonna

- 54:56Speaker 1: never leave me like the last one did. I'm sure
- 55:00Speaker 1: I have access to everything that's his, and he doesn't
- 55:03Speaker 1: have any children, so I'm good on that part. We
- 55:06Speaker 1: have a comfortable life and he loves to travel. I
- 55:09Speaker 1: will retire in five years, and I had planned to
- 55:13Speaker 1: settle on in and cater to my husband. But my
- 55:17Speaker 1: honey is up to no good most of the time.
- 55:21Speaker 1: Over the years, I've seen things, and a few women
- 55:24Speaker 1: have contacted me or approached us while we are out.
- 55:28Speaker 1: He has no shame, and one time he told the
- 55:31Speaker 1: lady to calm down, don't disrespect me. And he'll call
- 55:34Speaker 1: her later. The lady turned around and went back to
- 55:37Speaker 1: her car. He's like magic, and I can't get from
- 55:41Speaker 1: under his spell. That's what my friends say to me
- 55:44Speaker 1: when they come to me telling me that he's no good.
- 55:48Speaker 1: What they don't know is that I'm looking at my future.
- 55:51Speaker 1: I will take this man back, no matter what he does,
- 55:54Speaker 1: because my aunties and grandma told me that a piece
- 55:57Speaker 1: of a man is better than no man at all.
- 56:01Speaker 1: It may not make sense to other women, but it's
- 56:04Speaker 1: how I am with my honey. He's a good man
- 56:07Speaker 1: if I look over his infidelity. He's sixty four, and
- 56:11Speaker 1: I'm hoping he will settle down soon. But I can't lie.
- 56:15Speaker 1: I'm afraid someone might take him away from me. Am
- 56:18Speaker 1: I going about this the wrong way?
- 56:20Speaker 11: Should I leave this man?
- 56:22Speaker 3: Yes?
- 56:23Speaker 1: And yes? Okay. So in the beginning and in the
- 56:28Speaker 1: middle of this letter, it didn't sound like you wanted
- 56:31Speaker 1: any advice at all. It sounded like you were perfectly
- 56:33Speaker 1: fine with how things were. You said, no matter what
- 56:36Speaker 1: anyone says about him, you'll take this man back. You said,
- 56:40Speaker 1: your aunties and your grandma told you that a piece
- 56:43Speaker 1: of a man is better than no man at all sorry,
- 56:46Speaker 1: but that's bad advice, that really is. And you said,
- 56:50Speaker 1: if you ignore his infidelities, he's a good man. Excuse
- 56:56Speaker 1: me what, he's cheating on you. That's not a good man.
- 57:03Speaker 1: It's not a good man. If he's cheating on you. Okay,
- 57:07Speaker 1: you don't like it, you're unhappy, that's why you're writing,
- 57:11Speaker 1: Steve and I. You said he's like magic and you
- 57:14Speaker 1: can't get from under a spell. But he's more like
- 57:17Speaker 1: poison that you shouldn't be ingesting. He's not respecting you.
- 57:21Speaker 1: You said he's up to no good most of the time.
- 57:24Speaker 1: You said that, listen, no one, no one is that
- 57:28Speaker 1: good where you just allow them to treat you any
- 57:31Speaker 1: old kind of way. So you can't just sit there
- 57:33Speaker 1: and take this. You can't. You can't have a fear
- 57:37Speaker 1: of losing him to someone else, thinking that someone else
- 57:40Speaker 1: is gonna take them away from him, take them away
- 57:42Speaker 1: from you. It makes you look desperate. Okay, it makes
- 57:48Speaker 1: you look desperate. I'm sorry. You're living girlfriend for twenty years.
- 57:51Speaker 6: Steve, I'm stuck at the I'm going to take him
- 57:56Speaker 6: back every time. Okay.
- 57:59Speaker 2: Then my question is, Okay, so what you want from.
- 58:03Speaker 5: Us, you've already said, So the little questions you have
- 58:08Speaker 5: in the letter, you've already said you're gonna take him
- 58:11Speaker 5: back every time. So what you want from us? I
- 58:16Speaker 5: can't give you self esteem at sixty. I can't make
- 58:21Speaker 5: you want more if you don't want more? Well, what
- 58:23Speaker 5: you want from us? What you want me to tell you?
- 58:26Speaker 2: Lady? You settling this all you want that?
- 58:30Speaker 5: Look, I'm almost sixty and I've been a living girlfriend
- 58:34Speaker 5: for over twenty years.
- 58:37Speaker 10: Like what?
- 58:38Speaker 2: Okay, what a living girlfriend for over twenty years? What
- 58:45Speaker 2: do you want from me? You just settled? You a girlfriend?
- 58:52Speaker 2: You're a sixty year old girlfriend? Who do that with
- 59:00Speaker 2: my honey?
- 59:01Speaker 5: And I started dating your honey. That's all you can
- 59:04Speaker 5: call him is your honey. You can't call him nothing else.
- 59:07Speaker 5: He was married, and I was married to an old
- 59:09Speaker 5: man that died on me and left me homeless. I've
- 59:12Speaker 5: stayed up. I saved up a lot of money and
- 59:15Speaker 5: I lost it all taking care of him when he died,
- 59:18Speaker 5: his children who took what little money he had. So
- 59:21Speaker 5: my current honey and I said, we never getting married,
- 59:25Speaker 5: But he never leave me like the last one did.
- 59:28Speaker 5: The last one didn't just leave you, he died, Damn it.
- 59:35Speaker 5: He didn't just leave you, damn it.
- 59:39Speaker 3: He died.
- 59:41Speaker 5: The other one gonna die too. He gonna die too.
- 59:49Speaker 5: And if he died before you, guess what.
- 59:52Speaker 2: He gonna leave you, just like.
- 59:53Speaker 5: The other one did. He makes sure I have access
- 1:00:00Speaker 5: to everything that's his. And he don't have any children,
- 1:00:04Speaker 5: So I'm good on that part. He's sixty four and
- 1:00:07Speaker 5: ain't got no kids. What is wrong with this picture? Well,
- 1:00:14Speaker 5: I'm gonna show you what's wrong with it when we
- 1:00:16Speaker 5: come back. He don't have no children. We have a
- 1:00:19Speaker 5: comfortable life, and he loves to travel. I'm gonna retire
- 1:00:25Speaker 5: five years and I'm playing on settling down and catering
- 1:00:28Speaker 5: to my honey.
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: Oh really, hang on, we'll get to that when we
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: come back.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: Money of your response Steve coming up at twenty three
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: minutes after the our Today's Strawberry Letter subject, I'm gonna
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: take him back every time. We'll get back into it
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening Steve.
- 1:00:48Speaker 11: Hardy Morning Show.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: I'm gonna take him back every time.
- 1:00:56Speaker 5: Well, the lady, once you entite the letter that my
- 1:00:59Speaker 5: question was, what do you want from us what you
- 1:01:01Speaker 5: want from us, and then you proceed to tell us that.
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: You was married.
- 1:01:07Speaker 5: You sit almost sixty and you've been a living and
- 1:01:10Speaker 5: girlfriend for over twenty years. Okay, your standards alone. You
- 1:01:14Speaker 5: don't want nothing and you don't demand nothing, So now
- 1:01:17Speaker 5: what you want from us. When my honey and I
- 1:01:19Speaker 5: started dating, he was fresh off of terrible marriage and
- 1:01:22Speaker 5: I was married to an old man that died on
- 1:01:25Speaker 5: me and left me homeless. You had a lot of money,
- 1:01:28Speaker 5: but you lost it all taking care of him. When
- 1:01:30Speaker 5: he died, his children took the little money had. So
- 1:01:33Speaker 5: my current honey and I said, we never get married.
- 1:01:36Speaker 5: But he never leave me like the last one did.
- 1:01:39Speaker 5: Once again, let me point out, he did not just leave.
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: You say it, Yeah, his ass died. That's different, really different.
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: He laughed for me. No, no, no, no, he's aid,
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: I mean he left me hanging. No, No, he didn't
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: have a choice.
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: He died, damn it.
- 1:02:07Speaker 5: And anyway, the other one said, he never do that
- 1:02:11Speaker 5: one and to make sure he make sure I have
- 1:02:13Speaker 5: access to everything that he has and he don't have
- 1:02:16Speaker 5: no children, So I'm good on that part.
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: Now here we go.
- 1:02:19Speaker 5: We have a comfortable life and he loves to travel.
- 1:02:22Speaker 5: I will retire in five years, and I have planned
- 1:02:25Speaker 5: to settle in and cater to my honey. Oh yeah,
- 1:02:29Speaker 5: now that's gonna be interesting. Let's say that, because that's
- 1:02:32Speaker 5: gonna be my closing line. When you retire and cater
- 1:02:36Speaker 5: to your honey. But my honey is up to no
- 1:02:39Speaker 5: good most of the time. Oh okay, here we go.
- 1:02:44Speaker 5: Over the years, I have seen things, and a few
- 1:02:46Speaker 5: women have contacted me or approached us while we were out.
- 1:02:51Speaker 5: He has no shame, and one time he told the
- 1:02:53Speaker 5: lady to calm down, don't disrespect me, and he'll call
- 1:02:57Speaker 5: her later. The lady turned around way back to her car.
- 1:03:02Speaker 5: He's like magic. I can't get from under his spell.
- 1:03:06Speaker 5: Well let's talk about magic Mike.
- 1:03:08Speaker 9: Now.
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: Magic Mike is who I've called the dude in this letter.
- 1:03:14Speaker 5: Now, you have several problems with him, but you seem
- 1:03:18Speaker 5: to think that he's unfaithful to you, and I don't
- 1:03:24Speaker 5: think that's true. I'm gonna point this out. That's what
- 1:03:28Speaker 5: my friends say to me when they come to me
- 1:03:30Speaker 5: telling me he's no good. What they don't know is
- 1:03:32Speaker 5: that I'm looking at my future and I will take
- 1:03:35Speaker 5: this man back no matter what he does. Because my
- 1:03:38Speaker 5: aunties and grandma told me that a piece of a
- 1:03:40Speaker 5: man is better than no man at all. I could
- 1:03:43Speaker 5: assure you your grandmama and your aunt ain't got no
- 1:03:46Speaker 5: damn but it I can promise you that.
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: I can promise you that and have.
- 1:03:51Speaker 6: Never had one.
- 1:03:52Speaker 5: It may not make me sinse to other women that
- 1:03:55Speaker 5: don't make sense, to other men that don't make no
- 1:04:00Speaker 5: sense to me, but it's how I am with my honey.
- 1:04:04Speaker 5: He's a good man if I overlook his infidelity. You
- 1:04:09Speaker 5: so stupid. You know you're just stupid. You done wrote
- 1:04:14Speaker 5: a dumb ass letter, and you keep making dumb ass
- 1:04:17Speaker 5: statements and you want us to give you an answer. Well,
- 1:04:19Speaker 5: we can't help your dumb ass because you stupid. He
- 1:04:23Speaker 5: a good man if I overlook his infidelity. He's sixty four,
- 1:04:28Speaker 5: and I'm hoping he will settle down. So sixty four
- 1:04:30Speaker 5: settled down. He ain't settling down.
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: He locked in. This is how he is.
- 1:04:36Speaker 5: You just heard he ain't got no kids. You'd have
- 1:04:39Speaker 5: found a bunch of women. Women come up to him
- 1:04:42Speaker 5: in public. Here, Hey, calm down, you don't disrespect me.
- 1:04:45Speaker 5: Get on out of here. I'll call you later. She
- 1:04:48Speaker 5: go away and you stay. When he settled down, he
- 1:04:51Speaker 5: doing what he do.
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: He locked in.
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: But I can't lie. I'm afraid someone might take him
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: away from me. They already got him.
- 1:05:01Speaker 5: Everybody, What is you talking about? You afraid somebody gonna
- 1:05:04Speaker 5: take him from you? You don't have him, They have him.
- 1:05:09Speaker 5: Am I going about this the wrong way? Should I
- 1:05:11Speaker 5: lead this man?
- 1:05:11Speaker 9: No?
- 1:05:11Speaker 11: No, no, no.
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: Listen to me.
- 1:05:13Speaker 5: Stop saying should I lead this man? Because you just
- 1:05:15Speaker 5: told us you're not going no matter what he do,
- 1:05:18Speaker 5: You're not gonna leave because you just you want a
- 1:05:21Speaker 5: piece of man, and you got a piece of man.
- 1:05:24Speaker 5: Now you say it's infidelity, which means he's cheating on you.
- 1:05:28Speaker 5: Let me point out something to you. He's not cheating
- 1:05:31Speaker 5: on you. This man isn't cheating on you.
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: What's he doing?
- 1:05:37Speaker 5: You are one of the women that he sees, and
- 1:05:42Speaker 5: when they come up to you in public, he tells
- 1:05:44Speaker 5: them to calm down, don't disrespect me, get on out
- 1:05:49Speaker 5: of here, and I'll call you later. And you sit
- 1:05:52Speaker 5: there and go, yeah, get out our face. He'll call
- 1:05:55Speaker 5: you later, not get and then you go write to
- 1:06:00Speaker 5: be in his honey. So you see, he's not cheating
- 1:06:04Speaker 5: on you. He's not practicing infidelily. He has a stable
- 1:06:09Speaker 5: of women that you've known about over the years, and
- 1:06:12Speaker 5: you one of them, and you okay with being his honey.
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: And his living and girlfriend. And no, he's not gonna
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: settle down because he's locked in.
- 1:06:23Speaker 10: This is what he do.
- 1:06:24Speaker 5: Now, let me help you with this statement you made
- 1:06:27Speaker 5: in five years, you gonna retire and cater to your honey.
- 1:06:34Speaker 5: You go cater to your honey. He don't cater to you.
- 1:06:39Speaker 5: You got a five year plan that's doomed from the start.
- 1:06:43Speaker 5: He don't cater to you. He's not your man. He's
- 1:06:48Speaker 5: a lot of manses to a lot of women's. This See,
- 1:06:54Speaker 5: when you're talking to ignorant people, is best to talk ignorant.
- 1:06:56Speaker 5: He's not your manses because he has a lot of
- 1:07:00Speaker 5: women's under days.

- 1:07:25Speaker 7: Lakers beat the New Orleans Pelicans one team to one
- 1:07:28Speaker 7: oh six. They take the seven seed and they will
- 1:07:30Speaker 7: take on this Globe Nuggets. It was a closed game,
- 1:07:33Speaker 7: you know what, man, Zion Wiis and played his behind
- 1:07:36Speaker 7: off man water. Once Levin rebound and got hurt in
- 1:07:39Speaker 7: the fourth quarter with three minutes left, Ben he left
- 1:07:41Speaker 7: the game. And then Lebron James doing again almost another
- 1:07:44Speaker 7: triple double twenty three, nine rebounds and nine assists.
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: Uh, he took some charges, man, you know from Zion.
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: Did you see the showing you from Zion Wiis?
- 1:07:54Speaker 10: No?
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: I didn't see anything.
- 1:07:56Speaker 7: Oh, Man, standing there, boy, that boy you know Zion
- 1:07:59Speaker 7: big Now that's like two sixty coming down the lane.
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: Coming. But he's stood in there.
- 1:08:04Speaker 4: Man.
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: But it's not over for the Pelicans.
- 1:08:06Speaker 7: They're gonna play the winner, which is the Sacramento Kings
- 1:08:09Speaker 7: on Friday.
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: Man, because Golden State is out of the playoffs.
- 1:08:12Speaker 7: They and Sacramento pulled it off one eighteen to ninety four.
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: Klay Thompson oh for ten zero points to.
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: Help his team.
- 1:08:22Speaker 7: Man ain't looking good right now, No, man, you know what, Man,
- 1:08:29Speaker 7: it was just turnovers, man, Turnovers was killing the Golden
- 1:08:31Speaker 7: State Warriors.
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: They just they kept turning it over.
- 1:08:35Speaker 7: You know, like like Steph Curry had foe turnovers. Your
- 1:08:38Speaker 7: boy man, Draymond Green had our foe turnover. The steal
- 1:08:41Speaker 7: Rison ball and prison balls and ball. They may have
- 1:08:46Speaker 7: to break this up, man, they may break this up.
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: Uh, this might be it.
- 1:08:51Speaker 7: Man, So what you think I happened to you? Well,
- 1:08:54Speaker 7: you know Klay Thompson is a free agent. Then they
- 1:08:57Speaker 7: may trade Graymond. They'll probably step Prison. They might keep saying,
- 1:09:04Speaker 7: probably keep Steph and they just start rebuilding.
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: Man, that's probyt what I think. Do Rikers Island have
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: a team because I.
- 1:09:11Speaker 5: Know Ramon listen, man, he just he hurt his team
- 1:09:19Speaker 5: so many times. Just Bron, Bron, just play basketball.
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: What what is I mean?
- 1:09:26Speaker 5: Look, I understand you coming to your teammates defense. I
- 1:09:30Speaker 5: got that, uh huh. You know, man, when Rudy Gobell
- 1:09:33Speaker 5: was up on the door and he came up and
- 1:09:35Speaker 5: grabbed him, pulled him off. I got that part, But
- 1:09:37Speaker 5: the rest of it don't. Man.
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: What about when he pushed his teammate? What about that?
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: What about that?
- 1:09:44Speaker 5: Well, that's when he was starting to unravel. You know,
- 1:09:47Speaker 5: he ain't really Raymon. I think the pressure got to
- 1:09:51Speaker 5: it too much.
- 1:09:53Speaker 8: It was Steph Curry almost cried one game when he
- 1:09:56Speaker 8: got ejected.
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: You're leaving us.
- 1:10:01Speaker 5: After by Draymond because because they didn't talk to him
- 1:10:05Speaker 5: over and over. It's like, man, what do I say
- 1:10:08Speaker 5: to this guy? I mean, man, but I don't know.
- 1:10:12Speaker 5: Draymond is a great dude. I don't I don't get it.
- 1:10:14Speaker 5: I just oh, god at all?
- 1:10:17Speaker 2: Who happens in the east tonight? So let's go ahead ahead, Shirt.
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: All right, thank you, junior. Excuse me coming up at
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: the top of the hour. What do you do when
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: a twenty eight year old woman wants to date your
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: twenty year old twenty two year old son. We'll talk
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: about it right after this.
- 1:10:32Speaker 2: That's my boy.
- 1:10:34Speaker 11: You're listening hard morning show.
- 1:10:39Speaker 2: All right, Steve.
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: This is from Tam in Jacksonville. Tam says, my son
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: is a senior in college and his girlfriend is twenty
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: eight years old. He had the nerve to bring her
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: to my house and she said she wanted to talk
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: to me. Woman to woman, I was hot. She told
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: me that my son will be moving in with her
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: and her seven year old son. I told her that
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: she only wants to date my son because he might
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: go to the major leagues in baseball. There's no way
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: my twenty two year old son is her soulmate. My
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: son has his whole life ahead of him, So how
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: do I get him away from this grown woman? Is
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: this situation out of my hands?
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: Yeah? Okay, that is yeah, it's none, it's gone. She
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: doesn't put your name on that boy, then you go,
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: why is that didn't do it? I don't put it
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: on it.
- 1:11:32Speaker 6: She doesn't put it on the him. She doesn't put
- 1:11:35Speaker 6: it on him.
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: He over there getting a seven year old ready for school.

- 1:12:56Speaker 1: All right, Yeah, all right. We have trying for another one.
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: See.
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: This one's from foo Quay in Salisbury, who says, I
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: got home from work and my wife told me that
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: my buddy stopped by and dropped off some cigars for me.
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: He called me, but I missed his call. My wife
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: said he'd be back. He was going to get her
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: some soup from Panera because she told him she wasn't
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: feeling well. He brought the soup back and I met
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: him at the back door and told him thanks, but
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: I wasn't in the mood to entertain. He said he
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: could sense I had an attitude, and he was right.
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: He said he was being a good friend to us both.
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: Did I overreact? Was he just being nice?
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: Yeah? I think you did.
- 1:13:37Speaker 5: Yeah, because let me explain something to your wife. The
- 1:13:41Speaker 5: one told her told him she was sick. He hey,

- 1:13:49Speaker 2: He was trying to be your homie, and you didn't
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: come in the house and you was, and you was.
- 1:13:56Speaker 2: He didn't come in the house and food speed her
- 1:13:59Speaker 2: spoons to eat her to soup. He just drop it off.
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: You'd be okay with this if a man brought her
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: wife some soup, and you'd be okay with it.
- 1:14:09Speaker 5: Well, my homies, the dudes that I know, yeah, yeah,

- 1:17:52Speaker 1: So it's fried bolognan barbecue.
- 1:17:56Speaker 5: Had the sardine's I did know for that. I swowed

- 1:18:36Speaker 7: Talking about the ones with the Yeah, I've never had
- 1:18:39Speaker 7: barbecue sauce on the fr I've never had that left, but.
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: I've had lonely sandwiches, but not surprised like a man.
- 1:18:47Speaker 2: You can upset with him.
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: Sorry, all right, we're moving on. Would your rather jet
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: ski at seventeen five miles per hour or zipline over
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: the Grand Canyons? Which zip line?
- 1:19:07Speaker 2: Oh hell, I'm not.
- 1:19:10Speaker 5: You're not loan that take to get across that. How
- 1:19:14Speaker 5: many times we had death thoughts and by the time
- 1:19:18Speaker 5: I get across that, I'll be dead.
- 1:19:21Speaker 2: Because you're faint, lifeless body just on the zip line.
- 1:19:25Speaker 2: Just catch that. He died about half way to the course.
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: All right, Would you rather have sex or can't make
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: any noise or would you rather curse the entire time?
- 1:19:43Speaker 5: Oh, curse your entire time doing six? Yeah, I don't
- 1:19:47Speaker 5: care which one of you as long as I'm having it.
- 1:19:49Speaker 5: I'm fair, don't.
- 1:19:55Speaker 2: So, I don't know.
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: Oh, you've never done quiet, You've never done it quietly.
- 1:20:02Speaker 2: You ain't never had to have quiet? Six. Wait, I
- 1:20:06Speaker 2: can't no damn statements.
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: Nothing you can get through this quiet? Little you were
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: in the holiday.
- 1:20:15Speaker 2: All my kids?
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: All right? Care all that noise?
- 1:20:28Speaker 9: Oh my sady?
- 1:20:29Speaker 4: What's wronged?
- 1:20:31Speaker 3: Come on?
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: Last break of the day coming up, and we'll close
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: out the show right after this. You're listening.
- 1:20:41Speaker 11: Morning show.
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: All right, guys, here we are last break of the
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: day on this Wednesday. It's been a good day, really
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: good day.
- 1:20:49Speaker 5: Uh.
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: And Steve, Before we get out of here, we have
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: one more clo for you. This person meets your help.
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: This is April, and Richmond.
- 1:20:59Speaker 5: Could remark depends on how good it is. If not,
- 1:21:02Speaker 5: I'm sure Junior will have another inquisitive question.
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: All right, this is April and Richmond. April writes, I
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: had sex twice with a married guy and he will
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: not leave me alone. I met him when I was
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: on vacation in New York. That was three years ago,
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: and I haven't seen him since then. He won't stop
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: texting and sending flowers. Should I give in and see
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: him or not? She needs your help?
- 1:21:30Speaker 6: Okay, Junior, get your question ready. I really don't care
- 1:21:38Speaker 6: what you do.
- 1:21:39Speaker 5: Once again, this is another example of the new norm
- 1:21:44Speaker 5: I mean, you're you're ignoring the fact that, Okay, is
- 1:21:50Speaker 5: he married or she married? He's married, he's married, You
- 1:21:55Speaker 5: met him, you had sex with him. He won't stop calling.
- 1:22:00Speaker 5: Should I contact him and give in? I don't care
- 1:22:03Speaker 5: what you do. Really, I mean you know y'all come
- 1:22:07Speaker 5: on now. You can't ask us to co sign this mess.
- 1:22:11Speaker 5: I understand. Look, consensual sex is consensual sex. You can
- 1:22:15Speaker 5: do anything you want to do. But in the words
- 1:22:19Speaker 5: of my father in law, just because you can do
- 1:22:21Speaker 5: something don't mean you should. And that ain't a true statement.
- 1:22:26Speaker 5: I don't know what it is.
- 1:22:28Speaker 2: Now. You can go and see this man, but where
- 1:22:30Speaker 2: you going? Though?
- 1:22:32Speaker 5: It ain't it ain't gonna make it right. It don't
- 1:22:35Speaker 5: mean it ain't gonna make it okay. That don't mean
- 1:22:37Speaker 5: there ain't no risk involved it Just so all these
- 1:22:40Speaker 5: new norms people got I just man, and but they
- 1:22:44Speaker 5: act like it's like it's part for the course.
- 1:22:47Speaker 2: So Julia wants your question.
- 1:22:50Speaker 6: Man, Yeah, you know what, let me it talk about this.
- 1:22:53Speaker 7: You know, the minute you tell somebody no, the minute
- 1:22:56Speaker 7: you can't do something for them, you choose not to
- 1:22:58Speaker 7: do it.
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: You know, they just want to cut you off. They
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: cut you off. But how do you know when you
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: need to cut people off?
- 1:23:07Speaker 2: Right?
- 1:23:07Speaker 10: Then?
- 1:23:09Speaker 5: Well, then thank you, yeah, thank you. I wish you
- 1:23:13Speaker 5: would ask me for something. Then I don't come through
- 1:23:16Speaker 5: with it, then you cutting me off? Okay, cool, thank you,
- 1:23:22Speaker 5: thank you. But see it goes back to something I
- 1:23:25Speaker 5: learned a long time ago, which was a great clothes
- 1:23:29Speaker 5: and remark for me. I didn't understand what this guy
- 1:23:33Speaker 5: had taught me. It is a guy that used to
- 1:23:34Speaker 5: work for me, and he taught me something. And then
- 1:23:39Speaker 5: he really taught me something. And the statement he made
- 1:23:43Speaker 5: to me, and I didn't understand it at the time,
- 1:23:46Speaker 5: but he said, loyalty has an expiration date, and I went, well,
- 1:23:55Speaker 5: that don't sound cool, because if I'm loyal, I'm loyal
- 1:23:58Speaker 5: to the end. But the lesson he was about to
- 1:24:02Speaker 5: teach me and he taught it to me, well, was
- 1:24:06Speaker 5: sometimes we are loyal to people whose loyalty to us
- 1:24:13Speaker 5: has went away quite some time ago. How many times
- 1:24:18Speaker 5: have you been loyal to somebody who, unbeknownst to you,
- 1:24:22Speaker 5: had stopped being loyal to you, but you, being the
- 1:24:26Speaker 5: person that you are, you remain loyal to them, not
- 1:24:30Speaker 5: realizing that you were being loyal to a person who
- 1:24:32Speaker 5: was no longer loyal to you. And then he taught
- 1:24:36Speaker 5: this lesson to me because I was not understanding that.
- 1:24:39Speaker 5: But then he turned around and he showed me exactly
- 1:24:43Speaker 5: what he meant by that. And it was one of
- 1:24:45Speaker 5: my great lessons in life, because I was employing him
- 1:24:50Speaker 5: and keeping him around me and allowing him to exist
- 1:24:55Speaker 5: when he was all about himself. He was just all
- 1:25:00Speaker 5: all about him. He was trying to do things on
- 1:25:04Speaker 5: the side.
- 1:25:05Speaker 9: You know.
- 1:25:06Speaker 5: He even told somebody one time, Hey, if you want
- 1:25:09Speaker 5: to meet with Steve, that's ten thousand dollars.
- 1:25:14Speaker 2: Who do that?
- 1:25:15Speaker 5: I've never in my life told somebody there, I'd pay
- 1:25:18Speaker 5: me some money to talk to me. Now, man, what
- 1:25:21Speaker 5: are you talking about? I mean, it was just all
- 1:25:24Speaker 5: types of deals. And so finally what I had to
- 1:25:27Speaker 5: learn was the reason he told me that, and the
- 1:25:30Speaker 5: reason he shared it with me because God needed me
- 1:25:33Speaker 5: to learn this lesson that loyals he does have an
- 1:25:36Speaker 5: expiration date. That sometimes you being the good person, the
- 1:25:40Speaker 5: bigger person, the better person, you stay loyal to people
- 1:25:44Speaker 5: who have long ago stop being loyal to you. And
- 1:25:47Speaker 5: it caused me to take inventory.
- 1:25:53Speaker 4: I do round.
- 1:25:55Speaker 5: I used to do it every six months, but I've
- 1:25:58Speaker 5: learned I've had to tighten that down. So every sixty days,
- 1:26:04Speaker 5: I do a inventory check. I kind of go through
- 1:26:08Speaker 5: my phones and my emails, and I make sure that
- 1:26:12Speaker 5: everybody who can call me and touch base with me
- 1:26:17Speaker 5: is a person who's pulling for me, cheering for me,
- 1:26:21Speaker 5: or praying for me.
- 1:26:24Speaker 2: And that's it.
- 1:26:25Speaker 5: And if you're not one of those people, I block you. Now,
- 1:26:31Speaker 5: if you're a business person, you're not that close to me.
- 1:26:34Speaker 5: You may have my number cause we're doing business. That's
- 1:26:37Speaker 5: another thing. But I block people who are not pulling
- 1:26:42Speaker 5: for me, cheering for me, or praying for me. And
- 1:26:47Speaker 5: I just don't I don't have the time for that.
- 1:26:50Speaker 5: I don't have the time for small remedial relationships. I
- 1:26:55Speaker 5: just don't have that kind of time. So I take
- 1:26:58Speaker 5: inventory every six days to go through my phone and
- 1:27:02Speaker 5: my emails to make sure that the people who are
- 1:27:04Speaker 5: surrounding my life are worth my time, because if they're not,
- 1:27:10Speaker 5: their loyalty to you will expire right in front of
- 1:27:13Speaker 5: your face, but usually behind your back. Those are my
- 1:27:16Speaker 5: clothesing remarks. Y'all have a great one today. Hey, y'all
- 1:27:19Speaker 5: talk to God today. He would absolutely love to hear
- 1:27:22Speaker 5: from you. Okay, y'all do that, y'all stay in peace. Man,
- 1:27:26Speaker 5: I'm out body here May.
