- 1:45Speaker 1: to turn turn the water the water got come Come
- 1:58Speaker 1: on your bad Uh huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody.
- 2:04Speaker 1: You're listening to the voice, Come on dig me now,
- 2:07Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Well,
- 2:13Speaker 1: I gotta tell you something, everybody, and this is great
- 2:16Speaker 1: news for everybody that I'm gon share something with your
- 2:21Speaker 1: principle of becoming successful at whatever level you choose. It
- 2:28Speaker 1: can be successful in the relationship, successful in the family.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Successes may be considered to you becoming a homeowner. It
- 2:38Speaker 1: could be being dead free. Your ideal success could be
- 2:43Speaker 1: sixty thousand a year, fifty thousand a year, one hundred
- 2:46Speaker 1: thousand dollars a year, doesn't matter if you're considering it,
- 2:52Speaker 1: if you're wanting it, if you have a desire to
- 2:54Speaker 1: become successful. I want to share with you the very
- 2:58Speaker 1: beginning of that. If no one's ever done it. I'm
- 3:02Speaker 1: going to say the beginning of it today. See scripture
- 3:08Speaker 1: makes it very clear for us you don't The only
- 3:13Speaker 1: thing you need to become successful is already inside of you.
- 3:18Speaker 1: It's not an external need. God wouldn't do that to you.
- 3:23Speaker 1: He puts the core basis of everything you need inside
- 3:28Speaker 1: of you. So if you discover it, if you tend
- 3:33Speaker 1: to it, nurture it, fertilize it and water it, it grows,
- 3:38Speaker 1: it branches out. Then it reaches out externally and it
- 3:42Speaker 1: starts grabbing things outside of there to make it even bigger, stronger, better,
- 3:46Speaker 1: last longer. But in the very beginning, you don't need anything.
- 3:51Speaker 1: It's all within you. And if you cultivate your relationship
- 3:56Speaker 1: with God, it comes out, it flourishes. Now, let me
- 4:01Speaker 1: tell you that thing that I'm talking about is a
- 4:04Speaker 1: God given gift that He has given to all of us.
- 4:07Speaker 1: We all possess it. It is all within us. Everybody
- 4:13Speaker 1: has a gift. Had somebody told me what I know
- 4:16Speaker 1: now back then, I would have saved myself tons of mistakes.
- 4:20Speaker 1: I just didn't know the principles. I had to learn
- 4:21Speaker 1: them all well. One of the principles of becoming successful
- 4:25Speaker 1: is your mind set. You got to get your mind
- 4:31Speaker 1: right now. This mindset is simply a decision that you
- 4:35Speaker 1: can make. I can't get it for you. I can
- 4:39Speaker 1: tell you what to do, but you got to make
- 4:42Speaker 1: the decision. You that's listening, have to decide. You know what,
- 4:46Speaker 1: I'm gonna go on and get at it. I'm gonna
- 4:47Speaker 1: stop renting. I'm gonna become a homeowner. You know what
- 4:49Speaker 1: I'm gonna do. I'm gonna stop living check to check.
- 4:52Speaker 1: I'm I'm gonna put a budget together. I'm gonna stop
- 4:58Speaker 1: stepping out on my I'm gonna go home. I'm gonna
- 5:01Speaker 1: get it together. I'm gonna stop using you when you
- 5:05Speaker 1: make these decisions. That's correcting your mindset. Now. The closer
- 5:10Speaker 1: connection you have with God, the more help you get
- 5:13Speaker 1: sustaining the mindset. How many times have you started to
- 5:16Speaker 1: do something and you stopped? How many resolutions have you
- 5:19Speaker 1: made at the New Year and stop by February? Over
- 5:24Speaker 1: by me at January? Done in March? Because if you
- 5:29Speaker 1: don't have a clear connection with your creator to help
- 5:32Speaker 1: you carry out the other force out there, that evil
- 5:36Speaker 1: force is designed to get you not to reach your goals.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Get you not to come to resolution with whatever the
- 5:43Speaker 1: resolutions are you made, so he can so you can
- 5:46Speaker 1: consider yourself not worthy or failure or unable to do something.
- 5:51Speaker 1: But the more things you are able to accomplish, the
- 5:53Speaker 1: greater your confidence goals grows. So we got to get
- 5:56Speaker 1: your mindset together. Your mindset is a decision you have
- 6:00Speaker 1: to make. When you make the decision, you can begin
- 6:02Speaker 1: the process. Your mindset is also a will of yours,
- 6:08Speaker 1: a will along with the decision, a will, a willingness
- 6:13Speaker 1: to do right, a willingness to change, a willingness to
- 6:18Speaker 1: be better. It's going to then cause you to have
- 6:23Speaker 1: to make a decision to make a change of direction.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Don't go where everybody else going. You got to go
- 6:29Speaker 1: your way now. You can't follow the crowd. You got
- 6:32Speaker 1: to take a less travel path. You cannot do this
- 6:37Speaker 1: without changing your direction. You can't keep hanging with the
- 6:39Speaker 1: people you've been hanging with if you want to be
- 6:41Speaker 1: different because they're not. Then you have to develop an
- 6:46Speaker 1: obligation to yourself. You've got to say, you know what
- 6:50Speaker 1: for me and my family, or if you don't have
- 6:53Speaker 1: a family for me, I owe it to myself. I
- 6:57Speaker 1: have an obligation to myself to be the best me
- 7:00Speaker 1: that I can possibly be, to be the best self
- 7:04Speaker 1: that I can possibly be, to be the best father,
- 7:07Speaker 1: the best man, the best husband, the best wife, the
- 7:11Speaker 1: best mother, the best daughter, the best son, the best student,
- 7:16Speaker 1: the best employ ye, the best owner. You have an
- 7:19Speaker 1: obligation to yourself to give yourself a shot at the
- 7:24Speaker 1: best life you can. That's an obligation. You owe that
- 7:28Speaker 1: to yourself. Why would you not live the best life
- 7:31Speaker 1: that you possibly could. You have an obligation to yourself.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Why would you teat yourself like that? Why would you
- 7:38Speaker 1: take yourself and never allow yourself to see the goodness
- 7:42Speaker 1: that's already in you, to have the abundance that's been
- 7:46Speaker 1: promised to you, to go and explore all the riches
- 7:51Speaker 1: out there that's available to you. And but one of
- 7:57Speaker 1: the worst ways that you can rob your self of
- 8:00Speaker 1: the joy of your obligation is to keep comparing yourself
- 8:03Speaker 1: to somebody else. Because guess what, Man, that ain't your life.
- 8:08Speaker 1: You ain't jay Z and Beyonce, you're not You're not
- 8:11Speaker 1: open Instead, man, that's not who you are. Quit looking
- 8:16Speaker 1: around at everybody else. That comparison of everybody else to
- 8:20Speaker 1: keep you broken, it to keep you unhappy. You won't
- 8:23Speaker 1: even be able to be grateful for what you have
- 8:25Speaker 1: because you steady talking about what you don't have. That's
- 8:28Speaker 1: not the way, man. You have an obligation to yourself
- 8:31Speaker 1: to be the best you you can be, not the
- 8:34Speaker 1: best them. You're not them. Stop trying to be them.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Be the best you. It's cool. You got a nice
- 8:41Speaker 1: little house. That's cool. You know how many big houses
- 8:44Speaker 1: is empty and feel with hate and resentment. I'd rather
- 8:48Speaker 1: have a smaller house feel with joy in it than
- 8:52Speaker 1: to go to a big house. Man Prince got a
- 8:54Speaker 1: line in a song that says, I realized in its
- 8:58Speaker 1: best disguise, or the house don't make a home. Man.
- 9:04Speaker 1: Don't you know I know how true that is? So
- 9:07Speaker 1: I'm just trying to tell you now. Another part of
- 9:12Speaker 1: the mindset is taking dead aim at your life's goals
- 9:17Speaker 1: and ambitions. What are they? What are your goals and
- 9:21Speaker 1: your visions? What do you see for yourself? What do
- 9:24Speaker 1: you dream about? If you knew you couldn't fail at
- 9:27Speaker 1: whatever it is you were attempting, what would you go attempting? See?
- 9:31Speaker 1: That's what we need to be after It's a mindset, y'all.
- 9:35Speaker 1: It's a decision. It's a will, it's a change of direction.
- 9:39Speaker 1: It's an obligation to yourself. It's taking dead aim at
- 9:43Speaker 1: your life's visions and goals. Come on, man, you got
- 9:46Speaker 1: to get your mind wrapped around this thing. You owe
- 9:49Speaker 1: it to yourself to live the best life you can be.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Come on, man, talk to God. God got something for you.
- 9:55Speaker 1: You just gotta check in with him. You're listening to show.
- 10:02Speaker 1: I got sunshine. Yeah, that's how I feel the day man,
- 10:09Speaker 1: on a cloudy day when it's cold outside. I got
- 10:19Speaker 1: the month of me. Well, I guess you say, what
- 10:24Speaker 1: can make me feel this way today? That's what it
- 10:29Speaker 1: is today, talking about today to day. Yeah, gratitude, man,
- 10:36Speaker 1: will affect your altitude, which is in correlation with the
- 10:40Speaker 1: attitude that you have. But if you straighten out your gratitude,
- 10:43Speaker 1: it will immediately affect your attitude, which is in direct
- 10:46Speaker 1: correlation with your altitude. I don't care how you want
- 10:49Speaker 1: to twist it up and say it. It starts with gratitude. Man,
- 10:53Speaker 1: nothing big, Thank you Heavenly Father for this day. I
- 10:55Speaker 1: appreciate you God showing out again, got me up, gave
- 10:59Speaker 1: me another chance. I appreciate it, and today my vocals
- 11:04Speaker 1: will be on what you want and not what I
- 11:06Speaker 1: want and not what I want. I'm sick of me.
- 11:13Speaker 1: That's what I've come up with. Thank you trying to
- 11:18Speaker 1: figure it out and all like that. I'm sick of me,
- 11:21Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, but I'm grateful. Welcome to the Steve
- 11:25Speaker 1: Martin Show. Shehirley Strawberry calling for real mouth of the South,
- 11:27Speaker 1: Junior and the legend that he is nephew Tommy or Junior.
- 11:33Speaker 1: What's what's on your mind today? Let me let me
- 11:36Speaker 1: ask you this, because you know it's Black history. Mother,
- 11:39Speaker 1: look like you're glowing today too. I don't know what
- 11:41Speaker 1: it is. You know, it's your gratitude. I'm just glad
- 11:44Speaker 1: to be here lighting something on your zoom. Yeah, I
- 11:47Speaker 1: gotta read like it, you know, just light a place,
- 11:49Speaker 1: you know. But let me ask you this, Uncle, another
- 11:52Speaker 1: black moment you've had, just one of your blackest moments
- 11:55Speaker 1: you've had with the Kings of Comedy. I know there
- 11:58Speaker 1: had to be plenty of black moments on this that
- 12:00Speaker 1: I can say on the air. I got at least
- 12:14Speaker 1: eighty nine away somewhere. Oh, we was on a tour
- 12:23Speaker 1: of us one time, because like if we was performing
- 12:26Speaker 1: like close, like we was going from Indianapolis to Cleveland,
- 12:30Speaker 1: Indianapolis to Columbus. A matter of fact, that's where we
- 12:33Speaker 1: were going. We're on the tour of us one time,
- 12:36Speaker 1: all of us was on the tour of us. And
- 12:40Speaker 1: Boomerang was explaining to said Swanny Bernie uh and uh
- 12:48Speaker 1: Bernie's boy, what's the man? I can't think his boy's name.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Um anyway, and d L and Boomerang was explaining to
- 12:58Speaker 1: him that he used to be a pimp. And they
- 13:02Speaker 1: were not wrapping their mind around that concept of what
- 13:07Speaker 1: because you know, they these casting had jobs and creatives,
- 13:10Speaker 1: got wives and ain't just looking at the boon renge.
- 13:13Speaker 1: And when he got through talking, it was so confusing.
- 13:16Speaker 1: It really never said pimp. And I my had to
- 13:20Speaker 1: jump in right there and straighten him up and tell
- 13:23Speaker 1: them what they meant. And this is the radio version
- 13:25Speaker 1: of it, and that's why it's not going anywhere. We
- 13:29Speaker 1: didn't take black ass King of Comedy volt that I
- 13:32Speaker 1: could tell on the radio all right, coming up at
- 13:38Speaker 1: thirty two minutes after the hour, we'll hear from the
- 13:40Speaker 1: nephew as he runs that prank back right after this
- 13:44Speaker 1: you're listening to show it is time now for the
- 13:49Speaker 1: nephew to run that prank back. What you got for
- 13:52Speaker 1: a snap? Well, it's something that I want y'all to try.
- 13:55Speaker 1: This is blave for a day, olave for it's Black History,
- 14:01Speaker 1: money night. This is slave for a day, Slave for
- 14:07Speaker 1: a day. I hate what's wrong? You're gonna sleep on
- 14:12Speaker 1: some Hey, let's go every day. Hello. Hello, I'm trying
- 14:18Speaker 1: to reach to you, missus Glinda, Please, miss Glenda. This
- 14:22Speaker 1: is Gary Gary. I'm with the Black History Okay you
- 14:27Speaker 1: you you participated last year in the in the Black
- 14:29Speaker 1: History Parade? Am I right? Yes? I sure did. Okay,
- 14:33Speaker 1: I got your name from one of the members on
- 14:34Speaker 1: the committee, and we're trying to see if you can
- 14:36Speaker 1: actually build some help for this year's Black History. Uh
- 14:39Speaker 1: for this month. I should will be glad to help. Okay, listen, Um,
- 14:44Speaker 1: we're having an auction tomorrow and wanted to see if
- 14:46Speaker 1: you could actually maybe build some help with the auction
- 14:49Speaker 1: that we actually have going on tomorrow. Yes, do I
- 14:52Speaker 1: need to donate anything or but no, no, we're not
- 14:57Speaker 1: really trying to get some donation from you this time.
- 15:00Speaker 1: We're trying to see if you have some time tomorrow
- 15:02Speaker 1: to come out and actually help out with the actual auction. Okay,
- 15:06Speaker 1: what time tomorrow? Probably like about nine o'clock in the morning.
- 15:10Speaker 1: I can do that, Okay. Now we're asking that you
- 15:13Speaker 1: wear something that you will be comfortable in all day
- 15:15Speaker 1: tomorrow possible, okay, Okay, pretty much an all day event
- 15:19Speaker 1: that we're trying to get you to do. Okay, I
- 15:21Speaker 1: can be there around nine, but then we have to
- 15:23Speaker 1: leave about four. Well, I'll tell you what. We'll see
- 15:26Speaker 1: what we can how we can work it out, but
- 15:27Speaker 1: we definitely want you to come and be a part
- 15:29Speaker 1: of what we're doing. So what is it that you
- 15:31Speaker 1: really need be to do? Um? Well, actually, you know,
- 15:35Speaker 1: we got a lot of people doing different things at
- 15:37Speaker 1: the you know, at the auction, you know, so we
- 15:39Speaker 1: just want you to come out and be of some
- 15:41Speaker 1: help with everything that's going on. Okay, Well, I want
- 15:44Speaker 1: to be prepared. So what exactly do I need to do?
- 15:46Speaker 1: Work the concessions they in something like that. No, really,
- 15:49Speaker 1: what we had is actually you being a part of
- 15:52Speaker 1: the auction, of being a part of the auction such
- 15:56Speaker 1: as well, what we're doing tomorrow is we have already
- 15:59Speaker 1: we are already have fifty people who are signed up,
- 16:02Speaker 1: and you would be, you know, one of those people
- 16:04Speaker 1: that are that are that are signed up to do
- 16:06Speaker 1: the actual What it is is we're having slaves for
- 16:09Speaker 1: a day and what we're gonna be doing is auctioning
- 16:12Speaker 1: you off and somebody's gonna buy you tomorrow and you
- 16:15Speaker 1: will be there for the day. Slaves. Yeah, you will
- 16:19Speaker 1: be the slave for the day. That's what That's what
- 16:21Speaker 1: we've decided to do with the Black history. We've decided.
- 16:24Speaker 1: I didn't mean I don't I want to participate, but
- 16:28Speaker 1: being a slave no, okay, But see what you I
- 16:32Speaker 1: want you to understand that this is a word that
- 16:33Speaker 1: calls though you know what we want if we were
- 16:36Speaker 1: they called but I'm not gonna be no play Well,
- 16:39Speaker 1: well you I mean you don't have to call it
- 16:40Speaker 1: a slave. I mean as a servant, you know, a butler.
- 16:43Speaker 1: You know what I mean when you want to call it.
- 16:45Speaker 1: I'm just saying, no, I slave, okay, okay, man man,
- 16:51Speaker 1: Miss miss Glenda. What I'm trying to explain to you
- 16:52Speaker 1: this is a word to call for the black history,
- 16:54Speaker 1: and we're trying to get you to be there somebody
- 16:56Speaker 1: may buy you for five hundred dollars tomorrow. No, I'm
- 17:00Speaker 1: not gonna do it. Okay? Are you? Are you? Are
- 17:03Speaker 1: you turning us down for worth? It? Calls mister Glense. Yes,
- 17:07Speaker 1: I am turning your down. Don't call me with that
- 17:09Speaker 1: kind of no more. I mean, I don't understand what
- 17:12Speaker 1: what the problem is. You know, sometimes we got to
- 17:14Speaker 1: repeat history so we don't go back to the history.
- 17:17Speaker 1: Sometimes we got to do it again so we don't
- 17:19Speaker 1: go back to what you understand. But it isn't seem
- 17:21Speaker 1: like you. You acting like a houseene grow or something
- 17:25Speaker 1: like you two up at your hawsne grow house need grow.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Who's the chairman of this? Excuse me the chairman? Last
- 17:32Speaker 1: time I spoke with mister Wilson, and we didn't have
- 17:35Speaker 1: no like this, okay, and I understand that. But what
- 17:38Speaker 1: I'm trying to explain to you is this is something
- 17:40Speaker 1: that I don't want you to explain pain to me.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Do not call me with this kind of again. Are
- 17:45Speaker 1: you gonna show up tomorrow we can sell you? Do
- 17:47Speaker 1: you understand me? Are you gonna show up tomorrow so
- 17:50Speaker 1: we can sell you? We already have you know we're
- 17:52Speaker 1: gonna sell mean we aren't all listed to be sold tomorrow. Sall, Yo,
- 17:56Speaker 1: we've got you listed to be sold tomorrow, ma'am, can
- 17:59Speaker 1: we please make shoot don't be sold and you not
- 18:03Speaker 1: call here again? Hey, listen, if you don't show up tomorrow,
- 18:05Speaker 1: then we will come to your house and sell you there.
- 18:08Speaker 1: Come too, if I got to come out of which
- 18:12Speaker 1: you would bring you over here. If you want to listen,
- 18:16Speaker 1: I will come there to sell you. If you're not
- 18:18Speaker 1: gonna come out to the auction, come on to my house.
- 18:20Speaker 1: You bad, come on to my mouse. Okay, I'll tell you,
- 18:23Speaker 1: and you know what I need you to do this.
- 18:24Speaker 1: You need to start saying yes sir and no sir
- 18:26Speaker 1: to me right now. Okay. I need to get you
- 18:28Speaker 1: in the in the frame of mind keeping a save
- 18:31Speaker 1: or to day. Okay, I didn't hear what you said,
- 18:34Speaker 1: kiss my black I'm coming to your house tomorrow and
- 18:39Speaker 1: I'm gonna sell you in front of your house. If
- 18:41Speaker 1: you want to come down to the auction tomorrow morning,
- 18:43Speaker 1: nine o'clock, you better not bring you my house. Do
- 18:47Speaker 1: you better not? Do you understand me? I had a
- 18:50Speaker 1: march for civil rights. I don't have time for no
- 18:53Speaker 1: like that And we got a black man for president. You,
- 18:57Speaker 1: I understand, we got a black man for president. But
- 19:00Speaker 1: right now we're trying to raise some money for black
- 19:02Speaker 1: history and we need to sell you tomorrow morning. You're
- 19:05Speaker 1: not gonna sell me. You're not gonna sell me. You
- 19:08Speaker 1: are no call my house no more? Do you understand?
- 19:10Speaker 1: Do not call? I understand exactly what you're saying. Can
- 19:14Speaker 1: I sell you something else? Who else gonna be sold tomorrow?
- 19:16Speaker 1: Tell now? Don't tell me. I got one more thing
- 19:20Speaker 1: I do need to tell you. What is it? Bess
- 19:23Speaker 1: is Matphew Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You
- 19:26Speaker 1: just got pranked by your sisters. My sister, my sister.

- 19:42Speaker 1: believe you to digits Clenda, you all right, all right,
- 19:48Speaker 1: this is so crazy. I can't believe it. I'm gonna
- 19:54Speaker 1: I'm for this. It doesn't sound like you were gonna
- 19:58Speaker 1: get sold. No way. No, you wouldn't getting on this
- 20:03Speaker 1: auction block. Huh. No, No wait, because miss Lenders have
- 20:08Speaker 1: been there. I've been at the city end, the marches,
- 20:11Speaker 1: I've done some of everything. Yes, ma'am, Well, I tell
- 20:14Speaker 1: you what missus Glendon. If it wasn't for people like you,
- 20:15Speaker 1: we probably wouldn't be where we are today. That's right,
- 20:18Speaker 1: we showed, thank you. We showed thinking I just wanted
- 20:21Speaker 1: to play a joke and did I get you? Yes?
- 20:23Speaker 1: You did you? Sure? Indeed I got one more I
- 20:28Speaker 1: got one more thing to ask you. What is what
- 20:30Speaker 1: is the baddest and I mean the baddest radio show
- 20:33Speaker 1: in the land, the Steve Harvey Morning Show. That the
- 20:36Speaker 1: nephew Tommy. We love you, Missus Glendon. Okay, love you too.

- 23:10Speaker 1: many y'all? How many y'all? How many people got a
- 23:12Speaker 1: parking lot? Wow, we're moving out. Jan and Saint Pete
- 23:18Speaker 1: dog below below the belt. Jennie and Saint Pete says,
- 23:23Speaker 1: my friend's husband got touchy feely with me after a
- 23:26Speaker 1: few drinks, and my husband said it was harmless and

- 23:32Speaker 1: and now they don't want to hang out with us anymore.
- 23:35Speaker 1: Was I wrong for telling her? I think your husband

- 24:07Speaker 1: when we come back. I'm gonna be touching and feeling
- 24:10Speaker 1: on her no more. And you're gonna be sober. Two things.
- 24:17Speaker 1: It's gonna happen, all right. Felicia and Harrisburg writes, I'm
- 24:22Speaker 1: still close with my ex husband's father because he loves
- 24:26Speaker 1: spending time with his grandson. My ex hates when I
- 24:29Speaker 1: hang with his father because they don't get along. I
- 24:32Speaker 1: want my son to enjoy his granddad, though, How should
- 24:35Speaker 1: I handle this? Come on, dad, you got to grow up? Yeah,
- 24:40Speaker 1: you know, listen, something has transpired transpired between the dad
- 24:47Speaker 1: and the father. Now the father is trying to make
- 24:51Speaker 1: good by being a wonderful grandfather, right the father, the
- 24:57Speaker 1: son has to grow up develop some form of forgiveness
- 25:03Speaker 1: because you're gonna mess around, dog and your dad gonna

- 25:14Speaker 1: Well you you when you orna be with your daddy,
- 25:21Speaker 1: straighten out with your father. Mean, he taught you a
- 25:24Speaker 1: lot of stuff. Now he did some stuff that was wrong.
- 25:26Speaker 1: He made mistakes. Here, human who ain't right to guilt
- 25:30Speaker 1: and move on tripping? And now you're gonna deny not now?
- 25:36Speaker 1: And to hear the stupid part about the husband, the
- 25:38Speaker 1: daddy you want to do the girl's husband. You want
- 25:42Speaker 1: to deny your son a relationship with his grandfather because
- 25:46Speaker 1: your relationship with him and strengthing that's stupid. Act like
- 25:49Speaker 1: a girl. Man, No, I don't know any woman who
- 25:54Speaker 1: would go for this. So anyway, moving on to Glenda
- 25:59Speaker 1: and Columbia. Yeah, Glinda says, I had sex with my

- 26:11Speaker 1: So now the teacher spread the rumor, and the guy

- 26:19Speaker 1: I'm worried it will affect my child's progress in the class.
- 26:23Speaker 1: How can we get back to a professional relationship for
- 26:26Speaker 1: the sake of my son. Well, let me help you understand.
- 26:30Speaker 1: The boy is getting a Oh your son, don't matter
- 26:38Speaker 1: what he put on the paper, didn't be comfortable with that,
- 26:44Speaker 1: no matter what accomplished, no matter what you know. Now,
- 26:47Speaker 1: I don't know what you was thinking about in this
- 26:49Speaker 1: parking lot. You're trying to get back to professional. You
- 26:55Speaker 1: did the most unprofessional thing you can do in the
- 26:58Speaker 1: parking lot at the school. But I don't understand those
- 27:02Speaker 1: what she said the guy she's seen the teacher spread rumors.
- 27:07Speaker 1: That's not a rumor, that's not the truth. And what happened,
- 27:14Speaker 1: well they well, now the guy won't answer her calls,
- 27:16Speaker 1: and she's concerned that the teacher that teach the guy,
- 27:21Speaker 1: the teacher, the teacher that she has sex in the
- 27:23Speaker 1: back of the car with. Also she's trying to call
- 27:26Speaker 1: him to ask him something. Yeah, yeah, he won't answer
- 27:30Speaker 1: her call. Righting the call when you tell him that
- 27:34Speaker 1: you're going like call and said to the Printon my phone.
- 27:39Speaker 1: Y now we all old, Hey, hey, what's going on?
- 27:43Speaker 1: I think real busy? My spleen went out, friend INSI

- 28:04Speaker 1: cut it. They went in and think about the button out. Yeah,
- 28:08Speaker 1: they went in through. They got it, yo, So she
- 28:12Speaker 1: doesn't could you still do it in a car? Because
- 28:15Speaker 1: you still? I can't. I don't think I can pull
- 28:17Speaker 1: it off. I got so many things that are cramping. Man,
- 28:21Speaker 1: I can't can't make it. Yeah, because she's gotta be
- 28:24Speaker 1: good and grown. You think about al Hey, Tommy, Marjorie
- 28:32Speaker 1: asked me to get something off this top shelf because
- 28:35Speaker 1: I've known this, but it was web up, so I

- 31:21Speaker 1: this video of him driving to Martin's house to announce
- 31:24Speaker 1: that they are back for the movie Bad Boys four.
- 31:28Speaker 1: But there was yeah, it was cute, right, but there
- 31:30Speaker 1: was some discussion about what the title should be. Take
- 31:32Speaker 1: a listen, Bad Boys Baby, that's life. But it's still
- 31:42Speaker 1: bad one for life. But the third one third, it
- 31:46Speaker 1: was called Bad Boys. We should like what we shouldn't.
- 31:50Speaker 1: We shouldn't have called it that dough. It's like, it's
- 31:52Speaker 1: like the three was, the three was, the eat, the
- 31:56Speaker 1: three was. But this is Bad Boys four. Yeah. They
- 32:01Speaker 1: don't even know how many movies they did, indeed, but
- 32:05Speaker 1: three was called Bad Boys for Life, Yeah yes, And
- 32:09Speaker 1: this is Bad Boys for yeah. Yeah yeah, Mike Larry,
- 32:16Speaker 1: let's go all right. Finally. In entertainment news, rapper Lotto
- 32:24Speaker 1: tried to auction her underwear on eBay this week, but
- 32:28Speaker 1: the listing was taking down. It was taking down over
- 32:32Speaker 1: quote health and hygiene standards. The Big Energy rapper was
- 32:35Speaker 1: responding to a social media troll who called her out
- 32:38Speaker 1: for wearing the same pair of cheetah print underwear in
- 32:42Speaker 1: her pictures on two different occasions. The troll posted the
- 32:46Speaker 1: caption can't find new panties. Then Lotto replied, oh no,
- 32:52Speaker 1: it's the panty police. So the next day, Lotto announced
- 32:55Speaker 1: that she was auctioning the underwear on eBay since I
- 32:58Speaker 1: can't wear them twice. There you go. And and here's
- 33:02Speaker 1: a question for you guys. I mean they actually had
- 33:05Speaker 1: pictures of her with the underwear on two times. I mean,
- 33:08Speaker 1: come on, she just had the same underwear, I mean,
- 33:12Speaker 1: not the same underwear. It was alike. You know, we
- 33:14Speaker 1: can have the same pair of underwear, you know, you
- 33:17Speaker 1: wash them and wear them, yeah, or you buy the
- 33:21Speaker 1: same print or the same style more than once, you know.
- 33:24Speaker 1: And that's what a lot of people do if you
- 33:26Speaker 1: like them, you know. So here's the question for you,
- 33:29Speaker 1: Steve and Tommy and Junior. So tell us about your
- 33:33Speaker 1: underwear drawer. Do you prefer boxers, briefs, commandos all that?
- 33:37Speaker 1: What do you do? There's a box of chen thing
- 33:42Speaker 1: boxers UK and I would never wear boxing. Where's a
- 33:49Speaker 1: box of brief box of briefs a little snugger. I
- 33:54Speaker 1: was cycle short, so that's what you want to call? Oh,
- 34:00Speaker 1: I got Mike, I got box where I don't know
- 34:02Speaker 1: what box a brief box. I don't know what's gonna
- 34:07Speaker 1: bikers riding? Why don't you try that? Well, that's why
- 34:16Speaker 1: I gonna get my drowns out of amazing. Stop shopping
- 34:18Speaker 1: like a little boy. I ain't shopped like a little boy.
- 34:20Speaker 1: Where are you getting cyclic without the one at a time?
- 34:25Speaker 1: Stop buying? And Junior loves Macie absolutely, dude, Yeah, I
- 34:32Speaker 1: can't believe you. You got your bottom. I'm gonna wait
- 34:35Speaker 1: one pair in a box and they for bikes? What's this?
- 34:38Speaker 1: Who drowns you got? I just man me what these
- 34:44Speaker 1: two of the friends like he armstrong or somebody? You
- 34:47Speaker 1: ain't riding no bike? Can't do that. I ain't got
- 34:51Speaker 1: that kind of winning. I gotta get your drowns game
- 34:53Speaker 1: up though, Like I don't want to take my pas
- 34:58Speaker 1: in a pack. Okay, that's it. Were behind him from draws.
- 35:03Speaker 1: Stop like a shop living in the shtau buying your
- 35:08Speaker 1: draws in the city. I got nice draws. Opening up
- 35:12Speaker 1: your draws. You got one piece of cob Bull full
- 35:15Speaker 1: pay draws rap. I'm not opening up my drows trying
- 35:18Speaker 1: to drop on bicycle. I'm not doing that. Some damn
- 35:22Speaker 1: fruit and looms or holds your ass with the left
- 35:24Speaker 1: trap do on this front? Who did you trap? Go
- 35:27Speaker 1: fall man? I can't fit in it. I try to
- 35:31Speaker 1: use that little trap dough boy one. I might as
- 35:36Speaker 1: well just stand there p on myself because there's no way.
- 35:40Speaker 1: Thank you, guys. Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour.
- 35:43Speaker 1: It is Groundhog Day. It did punk Satni Phil see
- 35:47Speaker 1: his shadow or not? We'll talk about it right after this.
- 35:51Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Hardy Morning Show. It is time now
- 35:55Speaker 1: for a round of would you rather? Would you rather
- 35:59Speaker 1: say your ex's name during sex? Or would you rather
- 36:04Speaker 1: your wife's friend's name? Which one rather tell my tongue
- 36:08Speaker 1: at my mother. Ain't say neither one of them. I say,
- 36:17Speaker 1: you might be caught up up. I'd rather be up
- 36:21Speaker 1: in that tree with that leopard. Last segment, alright, I
- 36:31Speaker 1: cannot do either. One friend ain't the best friend? H yeah,
- 36:44Speaker 1: all right, you rather do the X. I'll do the
- 36:47Speaker 1: X before I do that friend name ain't all right?
- 36:51Speaker 1: All right? Next one, would you rather kiss someone with
- 36:53Speaker 1: coffee breath? Or would you rather kiss someone with onion breath? Oh? Coffee?
- 36:59Speaker 1: We onion? That on your coffee is more muted. Sometimes
- 37:05Speaker 1: it have cream a little sweet in it. But that
- 37:08Speaker 1: onion is just I don't care. It's strong French vanilla.
- 37:13Speaker 1: It's good that onion tastes like an old ass subway
- 37:21Speaker 1: silw Yeah, running that through your mind? Yeah, all right.
- 37:30Speaker 1: Would you rather be the ugliest person in the room
- 37:35Speaker 1: or would you rather be the stinkiest person in the rooms? Too? Uglies?
- 37:41Speaker 1: You know they cool? Here you go, Well, you don't
- 37:45Speaker 1: want to be running five miles. I'm pretty sure you've
- 37:47Speaker 1: been pretty strong recently. And then I hate to mention
- 37:56Speaker 1: it to you that you really ain't as attractive as
- 37:58Speaker 1: you think. You've come off your little running track and
- 38:06Speaker 1: walk down your streeting people going good, Lord, ain't zoo people,
- 38:19Speaker 1: zoo people turtle on the loose? Y'all confirm y'all's ugly,
- 38:29Speaker 1: that's what? Yeah. Well, at least ain't nobody got to
- 38:34Speaker 1: tell it to us. Man, We see we have to
- 38:37Speaker 1: tell you that you ugly because you would not. I'm
- 38:40Speaker 1: not stop saying. You strange looking man? Why don't you
- 38:45Speaker 1: come to that. I'm not to him. He doesn't think
- 38:48Speaker 1: he stopped taking all these pictures straight on frontal shot
- 38:52Speaker 1: some pictures from the side so you can sleep, and
- 38:55Speaker 1: I'm still look good from the side. I'm not. I'm
- 39:00Speaker 1: If you cut that right now, you will discover you
- 39:06Speaker 1: really don't have achieved. That's today's round of would you rather?
- 39:12Speaker 1: Coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour, we'll
- 39:15Speaker 1: have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this.
- 39:18Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Family and
- 39:23Speaker 1: friends of Tyree Nichols gathered in Memphis at Mississippi Boulevard
- 39:27Speaker 1: Christian Church to pay their final respects. Tyree Nichols died
- 39:31Speaker 1: on January tenth from injuries sustained from six Memphis Police
- 39:36Speaker 1: officers who beat him to death. Revernel Sharpton gave the eulogy,
- 39:40Speaker 1: and Vice president Kamala Harris spoke and addressed the mourners
- 39:43Speaker 1: as well. Take a listen. This is a family that
- 39:46Speaker 1: lost their son and their brother through an act of
- 39:51Speaker 1: violence at the hands and the feet of people who
- 39:57Speaker 1: had been charged with keeping them safe. And when I
- 40:05Speaker 1: think about the courage and the strength of this family.
- 40:08Speaker 1: I think it demands that we speak truth. And with
- 40:11Speaker 1: this I will say, this violent act was not in
- 40:17Speaker 1: pursuit of public safety. It was not in the interest
- 40:24Speaker 1: of keeping the public safe. Because one must ask, was
- 40:28Speaker 1: not it in the interest of keeping the public safe
- 40:32Speaker 1: that Tyree Nichols would be with us here today? Was
- 40:40Speaker 1: he not also entitled to the right to be safe?
- 40:46Speaker 1: So when we talk about public safety, let us understand
- 40:51Speaker 1: what it means in its truest form, Tyree Nichols should
- 40:58Speaker 1: have been safe. Yeah, that's what they should do is
- 41:03Speaker 1: take Vice President Harris's remarks and play it at every
- 41:11Speaker 1: single funeral of every person who is murdered by a policeman. See, yeah,
- 41:23Speaker 1: this I'm a sixties kid, right, this has been going on.
- 41:27Speaker 1: Why I've seen it before. We just we just couldn't
- 41:30Speaker 1: record it. Yeah, but what's killing me is even when
- 41:37Speaker 1: they see it, the beat goes on because there is
- 41:44Speaker 1: not a set law in place to handle this. It
- 41:48Speaker 1: is at the discrepancy of police, chief, city officials, prosecutors
- 41:53Speaker 1: on the state level. And see, man, until you have
- 41:58Speaker 1: mandatory you got mandatories sentencing for three strikes, you out,
- 42:02Speaker 1: you got mandatory sentencing for three rocks a crack. You
- 42:05Speaker 1: got mandatory sentencing for carrying the firearm, but then you
- 42:09Speaker 1: ain't got no firearm laws. You got mandatory sentencing for
- 42:13Speaker 1: doing anything else. Why we won't have mandatory sentencing for
- 42:18Speaker 1: police officers who are caught acting outside of the law,
- 42:23Speaker 1: because every time you turn around, one of them say
- 42:27Speaker 1: they feared for their life, that he fools that beat
- 42:30Speaker 1: this boy half to death, or you can't say that
- 42:33Speaker 1: she was on film. But even when it's on film,
- 42:38Speaker 1: somehow the police officer feared for their life. And if
- 42:46Speaker 1: you don't start with mandatory sentencing and start telling it
- 42:49Speaker 1: at the police academy. Okay, y'all, if you kill a
- 42:54Speaker 1: person in the line of duty and it can be
- 42:59Speaker 1: proven that you were not under attack on salt, this
- 43:04Speaker 1: is what happens to you. I promise you would have
- 43:07Speaker 1: making difference. It would have changed the culture. It will, yes, yes,
- 43:12Speaker 1: Because let me tell you something. If you shoot, if
- 43:14Speaker 1: you any of us, shoot anybody or beat anybody that
- 43:19Speaker 1: don't have a gun, and there's nothing I'm not attacking us.
- 43:22Speaker 1: What you think gonna have does We're going to jail
- 43:26Speaker 1: an exception because you have on a uniform and I
- 43:29Speaker 1: got if you in fear of your life. I got
- 43:31Speaker 1: if somebody's screaming the criminal act and open fire on you,
- 43:34Speaker 1: I'm all for police and paneling their business. I got
- 43:37Speaker 1: that part of right there. But it's too many cases
- 43:40Speaker 1: what it is, don't happen? Yeah, yeah, yeah, if you're right, Steve,
- 43:46Speaker 1: Tyree Nichols loved photography, he loves skateboarding. People all over
- 43:51Speaker 1: the world are demanding justice for him. Wow, rest in peace,
- 43:55Speaker 1: Tyree Knicks. Coming up, we'll have more of the Steve
- 43:59Speaker 1: hard Morning Show right after this. You're listening to Harvey
- 44:04Speaker 1: Morning Show coming up at the top of the hour,
- 44:08Speaker 1: right about four minutes after. It's my strawberry letter for
- 44:11Speaker 1: it today and the subject is is it a current
- 44:14Speaker 1: picture or not? Is it a current picture or not? Okay,
- 44:20Speaker 1: we'll find out what that's all about just a few
- 44:22Speaker 1: because right now the nephew is here with today's prank
- 44:26Speaker 1: phone call. What you got for us, Neff, Let me
- 44:29Speaker 1: give you something nice and stupid. That ain't my brother's baby.
- 44:32Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that ain't my brother's right to the point,
- 44:39Speaker 1: ain't gonna beating around it. Let's get on them too.
- 44:41Speaker 1: That's not my brother's baby. Okay, I don't care what
- 44:45Speaker 1: you say. Let's go kare dog that ain't it ain't
- 44:48Speaker 1: it ain't my brother, baby, don't worry about it. Something
- 44:52Speaker 1: I need to take care. I talked to man, I
- 44:54Speaker 1: speak to Terry. My name is Daryl. Damon is my brother.
- 44:58Speaker 1: I don't live in Dallas with live that. I'm the
- 45:01Speaker 1: one that live out of town. But we didn't have
- 45:03Speaker 1: a family meeting and talked about it. And uh, I
- 45:06Speaker 1: know Travis is your son. He eight years old. But
- 45:10Speaker 1: the problem is the reason why I'm calling you, Terry
- 45:13Speaker 1: is called we didn't found out that Travis ain't none
- 45:17Speaker 1: of damons child. Travis ain't none of damon child. He'd
- 45:22Speaker 1: been paying you child support here for the last eight
- 45:24Speaker 1: hold on, and you said your name, I'm Dare, I'm
- 45:27Speaker 1: damon brother, and who gave you this information? We are
- 45:31Speaker 1: to found the information out. We actually gonna go down
- 45:33Speaker 1: there to the courthouse and get all this stuff rectified.
- 45:35Speaker 1: But we didn't found out that Travis ain't ain't none
- 45:39Speaker 1: of Damon's child. And he've been sitting up here sending
- 45:41Speaker 1: you money seven to eight hundred dollars a month, and
- 45:44Speaker 1: this child ain't even here. Now I hate for Travis
- 45:46Speaker 1: to find this out, and he gonna have to find
- 45:48Speaker 1: it out, but he ain't. Why are you calling me? Look,
- 45:53Speaker 1: the family didn't had a meeting, and I'm the one
- 45:55Speaker 1: that they decided to make the phone call and tell
- 45:57Speaker 1: you what's going on now, don't you You You don't
- 46:00Speaker 1: have a damn thing to do with this. You You
- 46:02Speaker 1: ain't nobody daddy over here. So I'm not sure what
- 46:05Speaker 1: you're calling for. Who God made you? Keen wanted you
- 46:08Speaker 1: to be head in charge to call but that it's
- 46:11Speaker 1: not gonna work out. But let me why why are
- 46:13Speaker 1: you doing this to my brother? That's what I'm saying.
- 46:15Speaker 1: For eight years, the man been sitting you seven hundred
- 46:18Speaker 1: seven dollars a month and and this ain't even his child.
- 46:21Speaker 1: Well you know, I'm why why am I even talking
- 46:25Speaker 1: to you? I'm not really sure your brother need to
- 46:27Speaker 1: call me if he has any problems of questions. You
- 46:30Speaker 1: have a good day. Hello, You don't hang no damn
- 46:35Speaker 1: phone up on me. Damon told me the last was
- 46:38Speaker 1: hard headed anyway. Now, look, you know what you got
- 46:42Speaker 1: the wrong one, baby, Like I'm trying to not lose
- 46:44Speaker 1: all my religion today, but you're about to make me
- 46:46Speaker 1: lose it on your You don't know who you over here.
- 46:50Speaker 1: So like I said before, my friend, your nephew that
- 46:54Speaker 1: you're trying not to claim over there. I don't know
- 46:56Speaker 1: why you came from wherever the here you said you
- 46:58Speaker 1: came from the Dawnards to try to call mask. I
- 47:00Speaker 1: came from California down here to Dalla, and I'm telling
- 47:02Speaker 1: you need to take your breath. I'm back to California
- 47:05Speaker 1: because down here you don't know me like that. No,
- 47:07Speaker 1: I don't know you, but I'm fend to know you,
- 47:09Speaker 1: and Travis fend to know that my brother ain't his daddy. No,
- 47:13Speaker 1: I don't know you know what. You need to talk
- 47:15Speaker 1: to your brother again. That's what you need to do.
- 47:16Speaker 1: And you don't need to be talking to me. You've
- 47:18Speaker 1: been to send us all the money, and my brother
- 47:20Speaker 1: didn't sent y'all. I and when I do, look when
- 47:25Speaker 1: I said, when I sent all that eight years worth
- 47:28Speaker 1: of money back, you're gonna send every dime back because
- 47:30Speaker 1: it belonged to my brother that ain't my brother. Child. Now,
- 47:33Speaker 1: we ain't got time to be going on. No Maury
- 47:35Speaker 1: pover showing nothing to find out who the bad you
- 47:38Speaker 1: know what? Like I said you kicked the wrong one.
- 47:40Speaker 1: It'd be your best friend not to call me anymore.
- 47:43Speaker 1: You actually it is a good thing that you call,
- 47:45Speaker 1: because if you can't knocking on my doll, you to
- 47:46Speaker 1: got y'all with today. No, you go, that's my second
- 47:49Speaker 1: thing I've been to do. If we can't rectified over
- 47:51Speaker 1: the fall, I don't have a problem coming over there
- 47:54Speaker 1: knocking down some dos and getting some questions answered, because
- 47:56Speaker 1: damn it, this ain't Damon's baby, obviously you that's when
- 48:00Speaker 1: it was yours. So you're taking so much entry. No
- 48:02Speaker 1: it ain't mine, but but it ain't Dame Wents either,
- 48:05Speaker 1: and we got tos had any and looking for from.
- 48:08Speaker 1: But I'm sorry this was taken over here and Damon
- 48:11Speaker 1: where we continue to play when you owe Damon, don't
- 48:14Speaker 1: open that's wrong with your brother's nay, I want to pay.
- 48:17Speaker 1: I'm sorry. He's gonna continue to play, and you can
- 48:20Speaker 1: call wherever you want to come, do whatever you want
- 48:21Speaker 1: to do. So go back and tell your mama and
- 48:23Speaker 1: everybody else who's waiting for this meeting to let them
- 48:26Speaker 1: know it ain't having me. Look, my mama ain't got
- 48:29Speaker 1: nothing to do with it. Mama been what's your mama?
- 48:31Speaker 1: You say, your mamma, Now, y'all got to get us.
- 48:33Speaker 1: She's the same way. I'll see where you get it from.
- 48:36Speaker 1: You're like, just like her. Mamma knows that y'all from
- 48:38Speaker 1: knows it. People. My y'all's amn business. That's a growd man,
- 48:42Speaker 1: that ain't. My mama said it from the get go,
- 48:44Speaker 1: that it wasn't Hunt, that it wasn't damon Hi. No,
- 48:46Speaker 1: I mean your mama's the two faced lock because your
- 48:48Speaker 1: ain't what your mama said. You ain't been to sit
- 48:50Speaker 1: here and bring my mama up in this well. If
- 48:53Speaker 1: you know so much, then you back come back on
- 48:55Speaker 1: my belly. I'm like, I'm like there, if you want to,
- 48:57Speaker 1: we hadn't done. The man. Seven hundred and fifty dollars
- 49:00Speaker 1: times twelve times eight is seventy two thousand dollars. That's
- 49:05Speaker 1: how much money. And my brother didn't send you, and
- 49:08Speaker 1: that's how much we want back. And I need you
- 49:10Speaker 1: to get to working on this money. Naw, okay, why
- 49:13Speaker 1: don't you come over here and get it. Don't get
- 49:15Speaker 1: your whoop today, Terry, come on over here. You don't
- 49:18Speaker 1: feel on your things. If you you in Dallas when
- 49:21Speaker 1: I don't care nothingbody but I'm in no Dallas. You
- 49:24Speaker 1: ain't canna for you, So I don't even know what
- 49:26Speaker 1: there is. I don't. I'm I don't even gonn. Why
- 49:28Speaker 1: away for my time talking to you? Like I said,
- 49:30Speaker 1: your brother is a week if he got to call you,
- 49:33Speaker 1: y'all had him meeting and you got to be the
- 49:35Speaker 1: one to call. I'm not really understanding. Look, I got
- 49:38Speaker 1: one more thing I need to say to you, is
- 49:40Speaker 1: you're listening to me? You know you know my damn nerves.
- 49:42Speaker 1: That's what you're doing. You respect me? Are you listening
- 49:45Speaker 1: to me? What? This's his nephew? Timing from the Steve
- 49:49Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. You just got prank? Oh, you just
- 49:56Speaker 1: got pranked by your sister telling your baby. Know what
- 50:02Speaker 1: she said, talked to her about her baby daddy and
- 50:05Speaker 1: that baby. Yeah, I don't play with the children. Oh
- 50:09Speaker 1: my god, I'm so Let me ask you this, what
- 50:13Speaker 1: is the baddest I'm talking about the baddest radio show
- 50:16Speaker 1: in the land. Shout Now you have it. That is
- 50:23Speaker 1: not my brother's baby. So don't denounced your nephew. He
- 50:32Speaker 1: denounced me Frank's baby. It's your prank. Why did you
- 50:45Speaker 1: you you father, you're not even talking about Steve. Really,
- 50:52Speaker 1: is this stupid? You denounced me? Don't if that's not
- 51:00Speaker 1: my brother's baby. M m, it's the subject. And we
- 51:06Speaker 1: just finished playing in junior saying you're going to denounce
- 51:10Speaker 1: your nephew. You don't see how you get it now?
- 51:22Speaker 1: It's this all my life with this hill. You know
- 51:28Speaker 1: I'm partial to the word nephew, you know, so yeah, yeah, man,
- 51:33Speaker 1: I thought Steve to get rid of me. He does, baby,
- 51:39Speaker 1: And the moment of realization shocked the ladies on the show.
- 51:42Speaker 1: I could see y'all's face on the zooe when he went, oh, yeah, okay,
- 51:48Speaker 1: that nephew, the one in the in the in the pink.
- 51:51Speaker 1: Oh yeah, they're the subject we was talking about. That
- 51:55Speaker 1: ain't my brother's baby. Yea, yeah, you told him, you
- 52:01Speaker 1: told us how great you was. Yeah, yeah, right after that,
- 52:05Speaker 1: you'll beat you how soon after stick? I'm talking about
- 52:12Speaker 1: that after just like that. I mean, it wasn't love
- 52:19Speaker 1: in the wild Tomorrow. His stupidity bumped right up against
- 52:25Speaker 1: his art. But you didn't see the love in there
- 52:29Speaker 1: he had he you know, because he wants I got
- 52:31Speaker 1: the love. I got the love and I Got Love

- 53:48Speaker 1: Subject Is it a current picture or not? Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 53:54Speaker 1: My Beyonce and I have been together for four years.
- 53:57Speaker 1: Our wedding is this summer, but I'm thinking of calling
- 54:00Speaker 1: it all off because something fishy is going on between
- 54:03Speaker 1: him and his ex girlfriend. I'm not the type of
- 54:06Speaker 1: girlfriend to snoop, and I've never checked my fiance's phone,
- 54:10Speaker 1: email drawers, or anything else. I'm not even following him
- 54:14Speaker 1: on social media because it's silly to check up on him.
- 54:17Speaker 1: I trust him, but I don't trust his ex girlfriend
- 54:21Speaker 1: because I overheard her bad mouthing me to him on
- 54:24Speaker 1: the phone a few years ago. He was defending me
- 54:27Speaker 1: and telling her to watch her mouth. So I trust him,
- 54:31Speaker 1: and I never mentioned that I heard their conversation. She
- 54:34Speaker 1: called him again recently and I got out of character
- 54:38Speaker 1: and told her to stop calling him. Since then, she's
- 54:41Speaker 1: made it her mission to break us up. She posted
- 54:44Speaker 1: on Instagram an Instagram reel of her recent birthday party,
- 54:49Speaker 1: and there were ten to twelve pictures in the reel
- 54:52Speaker 1: mixed in there. I saw a picture of her in
- 54:54Speaker 1: my fiance's kitchen, and I saw a picture of her
- 54:58Speaker 1: in my fiance's bad room, wearing only a towel and
- 55:02Speaker 1: holding a champagne flute. He said the pictures were very
- 55:06Speaker 1: old and she did it to make me mad. I
- 55:09Speaker 1: don't believe him because he did not own a champagne
- 55:12Speaker 1: flute before he met me. I examined every picture to
- 55:17Speaker 1: see if it was a recent picture or not. Her
- 55:19Speaker 1: birthday was on January twelfth, and I was in Detroit
- 55:23Speaker 1: visiting my mother that weekend. I told him the only
- 55:27Speaker 1: way for me to know the truth is for us
- 55:29Speaker 1: to call her, but he refused to call her. A
- 55:32Speaker 1: few minutes later, she deleted the real I will never
- 55:36Speaker 1: know if it was a current picture or not. Am
- 55:39Speaker 1: I crazy if we still get married? Or should I
- 55:42Speaker 1: let his ex girlfriend have him back? All right? You
- 55:48Speaker 1: confused me because in the beginning of this letter you
- 55:51Speaker 1: said you were thinking about calling off the wedding. Then
- 55:54Speaker 1: you said you trust your boyfriend but not his ex.
- 55:57Speaker 1: Then skipped to the end of the letter and you
- 55:59Speaker 1: say you don't believe your boyfriend, and you're asking us,
- 56:02Speaker 1: are you crazy if you still want to marry this guy?
- 56:05Speaker 1: Or should you let his ex girlfriend have him? Okay,
- 56:08Speaker 1: so which one is it? I was with you at first,
- 56:11Speaker 1: because he spoke up with you when his ex was
- 56:14Speaker 1: badmouthing you. But I just don't think he did enough
- 56:17Speaker 1: at that point. I know he can't stop his ex
- 56:19Speaker 1: from calling him and all that, but he doesn't have
- 56:21Speaker 1: to take her calls and talk to her. He shouldn't
- 56:24Speaker 1: be interacting with her at all. I mean, he's getting
- 56:27Speaker 1: ready to marry you, so you shouldn't have to tell
- 56:30Speaker 1: her to stop calling him, because he should have handled that.
- 56:33Speaker 1: Now she's posting pictures on social media to make you mad,
- 56:37Speaker 1: Like he said, well, I think you should be mad.
- 56:40Speaker 1: You should. You said, you examined the pictures, and it's
- 56:44Speaker 1: I don't think it's that hard to tell if the
- 56:46Speaker 1: pictures are recent or if they're very old. As your
- 56:48Speaker 1: boyfriend said, I think it's all very crazy. It's a
- 56:52Speaker 1: little suspicious too. I mean, they could have been together,
- 56:55Speaker 1: especially since you just happened to be out of town
- 56:57Speaker 1: that weekend, the weekend of his sex's birthday, and she
- 57:02Speaker 1: deleted the pictures immediately. She threw a rock hid her hand,
- 57:08Speaker 1: so she looks kind of suspect and guilty. You're his fiancee.
- 57:13Speaker 1: You do deserve to know the truth, right now it
- 57:16Speaker 1: doesn't look good for him and her. So until you
- 57:19Speaker 1: get what you need to make you trust him again,
- 57:22Speaker 1: you could postpone or call off the wedding. I think
- 57:24Speaker 1: it's better to do it now than be in a
- 57:26Speaker 1: bad marriage. If that's what you think you're getting into, Steve, Lord,
- 57:31Speaker 1: I am messing. I said, I let me get in
- 57:35Speaker 1: here for you wreck another hole. Lord Ever, I said
- 57:40Speaker 1: what I said? Man, is it a current picture or not?
- 57:45Speaker 1: Is the subject? Where are you going with this? The
- 57:50Speaker 1: lady is all over the place in this letter, and
- 57:53Speaker 1: it is written out of emotion and is not handling
- 57:57Speaker 1: the facts the correct way. This system needs a fat check.
- 58:01Speaker 1: The fiance and y'all been together four years, you're weddness
- 58:05Speaker 1: this summer, and you're thinking about calling it off because
- 58:09Speaker 1: something fishy is going on between him and his ex girlfriend.
- 58:14Speaker 1: Something fishy. We're fit the call off the wed and
- 58:18Speaker 1: cause something fishy? What I'm not type of girlfriend? And
- 58:23Speaker 1: snoop check his phone all this stuff? She said. Then
- 58:26Speaker 1: she said, I trust him, but I don't trust his
- 58:31Speaker 1: ex girlfriend. This is a double edged sword that you
- 58:36Speaker 1: just swung at us, because if you trust him but
- 58:41Speaker 1: you don't trust his ex girlfriend, but it's gonna have
- 58:45Speaker 1: something to do with him. That distrust of her is
- 58:49Speaker 1: gonna depend a lot on his actions. And so I'm
- 58:52Speaker 1: trying to figure out where you're at. And then your example,
- 58:55Speaker 1: because you heard him, heard her bad mouth and me
- 58:58Speaker 1: to him on the phone, and he told her to
- 59:01Speaker 1: watch your mouth. So I trust him and never mentioned
- 59:04Speaker 1: that I heard that conversation. Okay, cool, good dude, you
- 59:08Speaker 1: are listening. Watch your mouth. That's the man you got.
- 59:13Speaker 1: Now you say so I trust him, and I never
- 59:16Speaker 1: mentioned I heard the conversation, like I said, that's the
- 59:18Speaker 1: man you got. Then she called him again recently and
- 59:21Speaker 1: I got out of character and told her to stop
- 59:23Speaker 1: calling him. Then you said, this is in your letter.
- 59:26Speaker 1: You said she made it her mission to break us up. Wow.
- 59:30Speaker 1: So she posted an Instagram reel of her recent birthday
- 59:34Speaker 1: party and there were ten Toil pictures on the reel.
- 59:38Speaker 1: You're the one. Don't normally go through nobody's phone social
- 59:42Speaker 1: media and all this here, But now you're following her
- 59:45Speaker 1: because you don't trust her. You trust him, but you
- 59:49Speaker 1: don't trust her because it involves him. See, you don't
- 59:55Speaker 1: trust them. Right, hold on, we'll have part two of
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: your response coming up Steve at twenty three minutes after
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: the hour, Today's strawberry letter subject is it a current
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: picture or not? We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, come on, Steve,
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: let's recap today's strawberry letter with the subject is it
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: a current picture or not? Y'all heard Shirley's response, and
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: I'll reiterate. Let me try to step in here and
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: add some non emotion to this letter because it was
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: a lot of emotion in the letter. There was a
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: lot of emotion in Shirley's response, and there's a lottery
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: emotion and you right now. I just want to bring
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: some clarity to the facts. You say, you've been man,
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: You've been dating for years. You gotta win this something.
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: Think about calling it off cause something fishy going on
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: between your fiance and his ex girlfriend. You know, typed it.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: You don't snoop for stuff, and you don't follow him
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: on social media because you trust him, but not you
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: don't trust the ex girlfriend. But then the reason you
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: trust him is because you overheard her on the phone
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: bad mouthing you, and he defended you and said, hey,
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: watch your mouth. Okay, So in my estimation, that's the
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: man you have because, against your will and unbeknownst to
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: you listening, he defended his fiance. She called him again recently,
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: you got out of character. You told her to stop
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: calling it. Since then, you say she's made it her business,
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: her mission to break us up. Now here's a deal.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: She posted on her Instagram reel ten to twelve pictures
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: of her recent birthday party mixed in that mixed. You
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: know they mixed in. I saw a picture of her
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: in my fiance's kitchen, and I saw a picture of
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: her in my fiance's bathroom wearing only a towel and
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: holding a champagne flute. The subject of the letter is
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: is it a current picture or not? Question markin this
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: is your your questioning whether this picture is recent or not.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: He said the pictures were very old, and she did
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: it to make me mad. Did you not say she
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: has made it her mission to break y'all up? Did
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: you not say she put ten twelve pictures in there
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: and mixed in there. Because see, you can't go from
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: birthday party to nick it with the tile on. We
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: at the party or we somewhere else. So I'm suspicious
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: and thinking, you know that she mixed in these pictures.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: I don't believe. He said the pictures were very old
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: and she did it to make me mad. I don't
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: believe him. Wait a minute, you just said you trust him,
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: but you don't trust her. See, so now you need
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: to make up your mind. Did you too emotional? Right now?
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: I don't believe him because he did not own a
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: sham pain flute before he met me. Girl, you're basing
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: this on the champagne flute. The girl could have had
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: the champagne flute. This could be her glass, and he
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: didn't on a champagne flute before he met you. So
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: now I examined every picture to see if he was
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: recent or not. Her birthday was on January twelfth. I
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: was in Detroit visiting my mother that weekend. I told
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: him the only way for me to know the truth
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: is supposed to call her, but he refused to call her.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: Now we call enough for what. Ain't no dude fit
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: to do that? He just ain't. And I don't blame
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: it because she could say anything. She could lie and say, yeah,
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: I took the picture was on my birthday. She ain't
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: got to say it was this year or two years ago?
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: You just said she trying to break y'all up. He
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: can't run that risk. A few minutes later, she deleted
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: the real Well why would she do that? Now? Did
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: he call her and say, hey, what you're doing? You
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: trip it? Why you do something like that? And she
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: had a conscious and deleted the real. It could have
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: been that I never know if it was a current
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: picture or not. Well, if you don't know if it's
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: a current picture or not, you find a call off
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: your life based on something fishy and you don't know
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: and you're not certain about any of this? Lady, Am
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: I crazy? If we still get married? No? Or should
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: I just let his ex girlfriend have him back? Wow?
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: That you so easily, you just give up like this,
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: this it, this it, lady. You have no verifiable proof
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: because you keep saying is this a recent picture or not?
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: The girl deleted it. The man told you what and
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: she did it to make you mad? You said the
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: picture got mixed in and the reel it seemed out
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: of place. Did you look at her hair? Did you
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: look at her makeup? She examined anything else, She examined
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: her and where she come up with she doesn't know
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: if it's real or not. She said she couldn't tell.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: So now you're gonna break up over something you can't tell.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: Listening to Sherty and she doesn't get what she needs.
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: She can postpone. You gonna, Shirley whatever, break up? Your
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: man did not leave over a question that you still have.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: And I don't normally recommend this to people, but do
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: not listen to Shirley or listening right here. This is
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: evil evil. Don't know anything about the champagne flute. You
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: can't tell it the picture. She never knew that. In
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: the latter this is emotional. Stop listening to Shirley. Mess
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: your life out, Carlo. She's gonna listen, all right, listen,
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: post your comments on today Strawberry Letter at Steve Harvey

- 1:06:26Speaker 1: what you got? All right? Surely? But first I make
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: this announcement because I'm coming to Atlanta, atl Uptown Comedy
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: calling I'm Gonna beat f February seventeenth through the nineteenth
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: five shows. Go ahead, get your tickets at Uptown Atlanta
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: dot net. Uptown Comedy dot net. Get your tickets man
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: five shows. I'll be in the building comes to your
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: favorite play cub. But the bigger news though Tom Brady
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: has retired. Okay, now hold on, we don't know yet,
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: Just hold up to give it a few just give
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: a few months. We don't know. He might change his mind.
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: He did a video saying he is officially hanging it up.
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: He's gonna go down in history as the greatest quarterback
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: ever been a ten Super Bowls one seven, MVP of
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: five And I don't know why. Uncle, You're right. We
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: don't need to feel bad for Time for walking away,
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: because he's gonna be making the same stung if he
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: was if he was playing. Because he has a contract
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: on the table for Fox Sports for thirty seven and
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: a half million for the next ten years. Yeah, like
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: you're still playing Time that same money. I don't even
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: feel bad for him, but for me. But my whole
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: thing is he retired ten years too late. Why didn't
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: retire when we had a shot at the super Bowl,
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: but now we had to go always go through New England, Texas.
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: We lose every time we go up there. So I
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: don't really feel that good by Tom Brady. You really
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: can't blame y'all not going to the super Bowl up well,
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: we always had to run into Tim Brady on the way.
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: You can't get out your damn division this year, but
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: in two thousand a damn thing. Yeah, well that's how
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: I know what I'm talking about. Look like Tom Brady,
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: well he's read why we ain't got super Bowl because
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: he just could have retired a long time been you
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: win ten games during the season, you're not gonna play
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: in the super Bowl. That's not the point I hold
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: the career who has been going up against Tom Brady
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: and every time we have to go up to Foxborough
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: we lose every single time. I don't care about it.
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: Why you didn't retire twenty thirteen is what I'm saying.
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: That's what Junior. How many times y'all not even in
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: the same division as New England and the playoffs we
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: had to go up there in the playoffs. You ain't
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: been in the playoffs, Cleveland ain't been. We've been last
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: time y'all been in the playoffs, it's Texans. We was
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: in the playoffs two years ago. You keep forgetting minute.
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: It don't matter. We just don't like Tom Brady and Houston,
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: that's all I'm saying. We just really didn't care, that's all.
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: And neither shit the rest of the country because he
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: beat all little tails. He beat y'all too, so don't
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: even does not even root for him. Hell, he won
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: all the time, that's all. Somebody else gotta win. He
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: got a ten year deal for three hundred and seventy
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: five million, three hunt seventy five million, just to talk
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: about I wouldn't even kid he got thought the ball.
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: Congratulated Tom Brady man, great story, career man. So he's
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: a bad boy, Yeah he is. All right, thank you, Junior.
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: Coming up next at the top of the hour. Some
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: social media advice. We'll talk about it right after this.
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: You're listening to show, all right, Steve, this one's for you.
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: This guy says, Hey, this is Matt. I need your help.
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: I've been asked to be the best man at my
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: best friend's wedding. The problem, though, is that I can't
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: stand his fiance dot dot dot with a passion. I
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: hate how she laughs, I hate how she gossips. I
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: hate how she's threatened to hold back sex until he's
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: ready to have kids. In short, I can't stand her
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: at all, and he's going down a path that I
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: just can't support. Still, he's my best friend and this
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: guy is really my dude, uncle Steve. Do I just
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: be his best man and be there for him? Or
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: do I say no and hope our friendship can withstand it? Wow? Well,
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: first of all, dog, qu're talking about friendship. If you
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: ain't gonna stand behind that's what friends do. Dog, You
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: you go and you be your boy's best man. You
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: gotta ask to be the best maid man, not the
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: bride's maid. About give a damn what you think of? Huh?
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: She with holding sex till they have a baby. That
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: ain't your business. You don't like the way she laughed?
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: He do? But what's wrong with you? How you all
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: up in it like this? I can't stand her with
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: a passion. You need to grow your ass up. He's
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: and let me tell you something. He gonna put her
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: in front of you. Do you understand that? And that's
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: the way it goes. Now, you go up there and
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: be his best man. I don't care how you feel
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: about her. He asked you to be the best man.
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: You're not the bride'smaid. Food. I don't like up. You're
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: tripping fall what you got to like? A fauld with
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: a passion. He didn't ask the girl to marry him.
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: Why are you passing judgment on it? She gossip? So
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: I don't like the where she laughed. So like the
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: way she laughed. She was holding sex until they have
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: a baby, so she know the man. She don't really
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: mistreat the man. You just don't like her, but she
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: not marrying you. Damn man? Howld this dude got to
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: be young, he got to be in his twenties. Ain't
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: a wearing him? Yeah he didn't. He didn't say his
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: name is Matt. But he didn't say, put your the hand,
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: the rings over and move on. Man. I'm all you
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: got to do some of her passion judgment. That's why
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: you don't ask by yourself. Now do the bachelor parties
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: in the Yeah? Man, do all that stuff you posted?
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: What you're tripping for? Yeah? When it comes to due
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: to speech and the best man get a speech, Now
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: you give that to somebody else. I hate her the
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: bride and group stupid. This one's from Jamella. She's twenty
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: five years old. She has a great job, a big,
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: supportive family. All her life, she said, she's made bold choices,
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: but only after thinking it all through. She says, now
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: I have decided that I'm going to have a baby.
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: I'm not in a relationship, but my job offers maternity
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: leave and my parents can help after that. I also
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: have a couple of potential fathers in mind, and they're
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: both on board. My mom supports my decision, but my
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: friends were shocked. My mind is made up, so I'm
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: not looking for advice on that. But how do I
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: convince my friends that this isn't such a crazy idea?
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: She's twenty five. Her name is Jamella. You ain't got
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: a fact. You know, you don't want no advice. What
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: you're calling us fault the fact of the matter. I
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: thank you crazy, So not where we're at, I'm with
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: your friends, you know. Tell her you stock this through,
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: She said. She thinks her choice is through. Okay, cool,
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: then go ahead and do it. Mama. And these two
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: dudes you think is great choices? That's up for it? Now?
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: Are they? Up for making the baby. Are they up
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: to being a dad, because anybody can be a father. Yeah,
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: but what you want to give your child is a dad.
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: You need you need to find out what they talking
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: about all this. Yeah, oh yeah, I'll do it with you. Yeah. Okay,
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: everybody now they just gonna walk away and then your
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: child not have a relationship. Yeah yeah, I'm with your friends.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: I thank you. Crazy. You don't know everything, y'all. Yeah,
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: stupid as young people today make me sick. Oh, y'all,
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: I said it. Printed coming up in twenty minutes after
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: the hour, we'll have more of this crazy show right
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to show, all right, So Steve,
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: these two Tamarin monkeys were taken from their enclosure at
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: the Dallas Zoo. Well, they've been found in an abandoned house. Okay.
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: They were discovered by Dallas Zoo Cruise. They discovered that
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: the monkeys were missing and that it appeared their habitat
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: was the fence was cut open, so this was deliberate.
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: Last month, a leopard named Nova went missing from the
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: Dallas Zoo, but she was found later just chilling in
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: a tree. In addition, this past weekend, right outside Lafaette, Louisiana.
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: Someone stole twelve squirrel monkeys from that zoo. So what
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: is this about monkeys that people are stealing? Yeah, I'm
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: concerned with the monkeys coming out to claws. I couldn't
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: do that. Mean, were they literally in the closet or
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: the monkeys came out to closet? No? No, no, they
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: put them in the closet after they stole them, an
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: actual closet in a closet. I thought the monkeys had
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: come out. Really, No, that would be a much more
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: stupid An hour ago, I thought that would be a
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: much more interesting story. Really, Now what do we have here?
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: Now that's gonna be a new pronoun for damn show lord.
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: I'm gonna be excited to see what we got to
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: call these monkeys. Did you see them, Steve? Did you
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: see these were some different looking monkeys? Yeah? Yeah, you
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: need to see that. Go to you though? They go
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: and you know, but they cut that chain open and
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: got got that leopard down. He was up in the
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: tree chili. Uh huh? And what that was about? Coming
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: up in thirty three minutes after we'll play around it?
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: Would you rather right after this? You're list show all right,
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: this winter weather storm and Arctic blast is sweeping across
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: the country, and today is Groundhog Day, and every year
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: there's a huge festival and celebration for Groundhog Day. Earlier
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: this morning, Punk Satani Phil popped out from his home
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: and Gobbler's knob and saw his shoblers nab that sound
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: like the groundhog lives. That's where still lives. Okay, take
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: that up with him. Uh. The point is he saw
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: his shadow, which means we will have used to hate this.
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: Six more weeks of winter, six more weeks of winter. Okay,
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: more people be surprised about. It's February one, you're gonna
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: get six more weeks. It's Windruary second, February second, Yeah,
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: because it ain't spring yet, right, February cold, and we
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: was in Cleveland. We already knew so well, yeah, yeah,
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: but it was. But Groundhog Day was important growing up
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: in Chicago. It really was. Now, if you're wondering how
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: accurate Punk satani films predictions are, according to Live science
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: dot com, not that good. Okay, his accuracy rate is
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: only about thirty six percent, So why we keep doing this? Then?
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: He don't he don't know, what are you doing? Why
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: do we keep living for him? Folks? What Steve it is? Now?
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: It wasn't growing up Lord from Cleveland. So was it
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: a big deal? It was a big deal. Yeah, it
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: ain't a big deal. It's just too much now young
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: people don't even know what that is. It was a
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: big deal. You had groundholl day because you gotta look, man,
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: I was growing up. It was three TV stations, yeah,
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: and CBS. That's so anything came on was important. You know,
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: nobody had a cell phone, so right, we didn't have TV. Yeah.
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: Social and then they bring them all white people up
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: that's from that town. That's that's a point of movie.
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: Goblers knob. Gobbler's knob. Now I'm sitting up and punks
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: a Tony Philadelphia that's the same. I mean Pennsylvania. That's
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: the area. And they would bring them up as a
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: what happened? See, and then you up there in punks
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: and Tony. That's some mold added to them. And they
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: were all dressed up with top hats and gloves and
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: everything was a big day. Yeah, we never know black
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: people up there. My daddy be sitting them, my daddy
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: be off from work. Minute, ladies, white, what is they
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: doing down They got time for this. Here, we gotta
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: go to work. Come on down South with that groundhog.
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: We're gonna we're gonna go. We're gonna roast his ass.
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: I promise you we're gonna try them up. Coming up
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: in forty nine minutes after it's our last break of
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: the day, and we'll have some closing remarks from the
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: one in at least Steve Harvey right after this you're
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: listening to all Right, here we are, guys, our last
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: break of the day. It is time for some closing
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: remarks on the second day of Black History Month. Steve,
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: you have some stuff for us. You know, I've been
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: thinking about the situation with police brutality, and I just
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: want this is just my opinion. This is my opinion.
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: You don't have to agree with it. But I was
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: thinking about this thing, and tragedy of police brutality is obvious,
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: but there's an undercurrent to it through. Like I've said before,
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: I truly believe the majority of police officers, both men
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: and women, have actually signed up to do the thing.
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: I think that happens. I think when they go to
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: the academy they have a view of the police department.
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: Now you run into some police departments that have corruption
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: in it, just like in government, just like in any
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: other place. And I think what happens is some of
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: these kids that come out of these police academies and
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: they run into a few of the bad apples. It
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: may be a unit in the police department, it may
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: be just a way that we've conducted business. It could
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: be the narc agent, it could be the homicide people,
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: it could people. We've seen it over the years where
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: police have trumped up charges on people so they could
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: get promotions and move up quickly. There stories of men
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: who have put evidence on hundreds of people to trump
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: the charges up and make it just really crazy stuff
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: they done. But that's not all police people, like I say,
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: but it's enough of them to cause a problem. And
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: now people now are knowing what people my age have
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: known for years. This's been going on that we just
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: had no way to record it. We've been saying this
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: and all they had to do was deny it. Well,
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: now we got body cams, we got street corner cameras,
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: we got surveillance cameras, we got stuff everywhere. We got
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: onlookers with phone cameras, and now it's becoming completely known
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: to the masses. But still, even with it being known,
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: not a lot has been done about this problem. This
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: problem isn't diminishing, and that's where the trouble lies. It's
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: not getting better the relationships in these communities of people
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: of color with the police department. Because I've done some
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: were thinking about it. See I've said this a million times.
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: Black people are the only people responsible for the actions
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: of one another. We are We're the one race that's
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: responsible for all other people in the race. If one
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: of them does that, they assume the rest of us
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: do it. If one of us does that, we must
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: know them. How many times you'ven't been to working some
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: white person that came up to you. Hey, do you
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: know that the guy that was on the news last night? Nah?
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: The hell I know him? Dog, Well he doesn't, don't don't.
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: Don't you live in Cleveland? Yeah, I don't live in Cleveland.
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: I don't know him. I don't even know nobody do
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: nothing like that. But we get blamed for it. Well, now,
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: maybe the police are finding themselves in a similar position,
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: But this one is rightfully so, because it's been the
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: actions of a few of those police officers that have
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: created the distrust that people of color have for the police.
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: They had O. J. Simpson, they had him, Mark Ferman
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: wasn't good enough for that. He removed evidence, plannted evidence,
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: and because he just couldn't just let it be so
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: aj O J. Simpson got off because the police was
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: tampering whateverden And it's been happening over and over and
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: over and open over nor So what's the solution to this.
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: The only thing that I can come up with to
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: stop this police brutality or to slow it down, it's
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: mandatory sentencing. See that fear for my life clause keeps
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: getting used too many times, and then we see too
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: many videos where you was afraid for your life for what.
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: George Floyd was no threat to nobody. This young brother
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: who just died in Memphis was no threat to nobody.
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: He was handcuffed. You beat this boy handcuffed. And the
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: reason I say it's a culture in some police departments.
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: The people that did it with black officers, so now
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: they black ass and got in here and bent into
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: the culture of the police department. Now they've taken on
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: the actions of the police department, even against people who
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: look like themselves. Cause this is just what we do.
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: If y'all don't think it's true, you don't have to
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: agree with me. But now something mandatory has to happen.
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: I just think, man, that what's gonna have to start
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: happening is these people that they are murdering, which are
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: always black people and people of color always. It ain't
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: ever a white person getting shot for no reason. Do
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: white people get shot by the police, of course they do,
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: so stop throwing that statistic back at me. White people
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: get shot by the police too, not for no reason.
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: They commit the crime, they get shot. I got that.
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: But the only people that get killed by the police
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: that we keep saving stories about is black people and
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: people of color. And it's because that is the culture
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: created in some of the departments. And until you have
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: mandatory sentencing for people who bring about the death or
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: the vile treatment of another human being and getting mandatory
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: sentencing for it's going to continue for all. Steve Harvey
